My first time visit to Muusa and more to come. The food was so nicely presented and it tasted even better. The emphasis was on vegetarian food. A pork dish also came to the table but in the company of better looking and way better tasting vegetarian dishes it somehow didn't take a center place. Any complaints? Not a single one. Never happened to me before.

Everything is so good here. Food on the menu, but if you notice they are holding an all-vegan brunch, that's your best chance to get the best plantbased food in the world.

Recently savored the trout with potatoes at this establishment, and it was a true delight. The impeccable sear of the trout made it a standout, complemented perfectly by the flavorful sauce that seamlessly tied the dish together. Went for a brunch on a Sunday, the place is amazing and the food even better - there is an outside garden terrace (with a see-through roof) upstairs and we really enjoyed eating there. Will for sure return every time we go back to Tampere, the experience is a bargain for the price (21.50/person). No reservations taken for Sunday brunches, they open at 12 so be there! :)

Exceptional food, everything is so different in a good way. If you want to taste delicious food, this place is what you're looking for. The brunch on sundays is my favorite.

The menu was smaller due to Covid-19 and there was no indicator of this on the website. I'll let it pass, as the circumstances are special. The food was great. Service could have been better: we were informed that a waiter would come to our table to serve, but nobody came. Also the service didn't feel that good. The restaurant has vegan options, and I really recommend it for the food. Food is special and unique. Pricing was a bit more expensive, which is OK as the food was luxorious. If the customer service would up their game a bit, it would be 5/5.

Atmosphere was a really cool vibe here, I ordered mushroom tacos and only one tiny tiny mushroom per taco, it's ridiculous I've never been so disappointed I expected more than 1 mushroom per taco. We also had the chard and it was a small piece of fish with so much puree.

Best food and wine in Finland I world say. Crème Beetroot, grilled carrots, fish & cabbage, chanterelle risotto and pumpkin ice cream. 6 stars if it was possible. The wine pairing was excellent.

Everyone at Villit is soo kind and welcoming. The vibe is a combination of hip, chill, and intimate at the same time. Michael is their sommelier and really knows his wine, origins, and can recommend a good glass for your palate. Their chef is thoughtful and cooks with passion and purpose! Had a wonderful experience and highly recommend!

Lovely staff, suuuuuper good food! Spending time here actually made my day. Living in Helsinki but for sure will come back to Tampere many times just for these guys!

The best (gastro) bar in Tampere. Menu is changing in frequent intervals, always offering amazing, with full imagination tastes, and people there know their stuff when comes to wine. These things, combined with the above excellent service, lead to a really nice culinary experience in the heart of Tampere! Really worth a visit! P.S. Male sure to ask for the handmade bread and butter (yes, both handmade!).

We went for a drink at the bar here and we had a terrible experience. The staff was Very unprofessional. The place was very small and we had to squeeze to fit. The drinks felt forced as the staff didn’t give us much choice. And there wasn’t any menus to even know the price of the drinks!

This restaurant means meatball restaurant. I ate lunch there It was very reasonable and delicious. It was gluten free.

Enter through the south entrance, take the left hallway all the way to the back. You’ll find a normal looking restaurant that looks very local. Ask for the black sausage, potatoes without the blue cheese(unless that’s your preference) and beet mayo salad. Sit down and have your mind blown. If I go to Tampere again, it will be because I want to eat exactly that, there.

Very quaint market hall with lots of history. It's almost 125 years old and they primarily sell food. There are multiple little restaurants, cafes, and shops selling produce and animal products, definitely check them all out. There are a few shops for other stuff but that's only 1 lane on the south east side. I really enjoyed strolling around the hall, it's very well preserved and just has a great atmosphere. This is a must visit when coming to Tampere, I will definitely return when I'm ever back in this city.

Me and my dear friend Matthew went to see this place today. It was amazing. Matthews only words were, "That's a lot of fish!".

Not a fancy restaurant by far but if you are looking for the (in)famous musta makkara then this is the place to come to.

Unusually many grills and market coffee stalls in quite a small area but not much else. Prices are cheap but the quality is also very basic bulk.

I really liked this place. You get the best of the European pub/bistro culture and food. Honest, delicious food. The schnitzel was amazing and the reindeer calf liver was a pleasant surprise. Great selection of drinks, especially Belgian beers.

Nice pub, friendly staff and delicious food. Everyone was so friendly from the moment we called to make a reservation and we had a nice experience until the end. All the dishes we had were very well made and delicious and I’d certainly go back to eat the lamb meatballs again!

A classic place when it comes to finding best beer selection in thr city. Mostly focusing to Belgian beers but also lots of others to choose from.

I stopped in at Gastropub Tuulensuu while on a trip to Finland on business. Great small place with an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Incredible beers on tap especially if you're from the states - all Scandinavian, German, Belgian, Czech selections I've never seen or heard of in the US. Stop in if you get the chance and strike up a conversation with some Finnish people. They are very polite!

I really like this place especially for the atmosphere and good selection of drinks. Dishes are bistro style and you can find snails, frog legs but the best are their snitzels! Last night I had the horse beer stew, unfortunately the meat was rather dry and the pieces quite big.

The best! My favorite place in Tampere! Have tasted probably all menu and they change it often, adding new positions. If you like to taste different kind of beers this is the right place! Delicious food and drinks. My partner really enjoyed the beer, and we both had the steak sandwiches, and then pancakes for dessert, which was enough for a light, but filling dinner. We did not find it cheap, but then we're unfortunate to come from a poor country

Great local cafe! We really enjoyed the Mukkis (kinda like a donut but a different batter and taste). The Kinkkupiirakka (ham pie) was absolutely amazing. I suggest the local soda made by the cafe. They have a strawberry and spruce flavor. Both are good. They have tea, coffee and juice as well. After we ventured up to the top of the tower to take in the beautiful view of the city. You can take the stairs or ride the elevator. There are a few stairs then at the end to get to the top. We had a beautiful day with breathtaking skies. Definitely recommend. After there are trails to walk that can take you in any direction in town. All tree covered, at least in the summer.

The donut texture is great, nice and chewy. The flavor is good but has cardamom, which may turn some people off. I also liked the cheesecake a lot. It didn’t have a very strong cheese flavor and tasted slightly of vanilla. When I went there was a long line. They have another location at Tampere Market Hall, which is also closer to everything else in the city. I didn’t verify that the food was the same though

I haven't been here since we lived in Tampere in 1997. This place was on my bucket list upon returning for a vacation in July of 2025. It's the first place I ever tried a Finnish munkki. It did not disappoint! Beautiful scenery, fabulous views of Tampere and the lakes, plus delicious munkki with coffee ☕️. I'm so glad this lived up to my memories. ($2 to ride the elevator to see the views.)

They have vegan donut (only large size, 3 euros) and it was very tasty! A bit too much sugar for my taste but I could just shake some off and everyone else said it wasn’t too much. Coffee also was surprisingly good for coming from a filter coffee machine. Probably because there’s a lot of people buying and the coffee is made frequently. The line can be long since it’s a small and busy shop.

It takes some effort to find the Pyynikki tower when you come by public transport, but it's totally worth a visit! The donuts are freshly made and just delicious (if you like cardamom!). Tickets to the observation tower cost only 2 euros for adults, so that's a bargain! From downstairs the tower looked disappointingly low to me, but since the tower is on the top of a hill, the view is great anyway! If you don't feel like walking up the stairs, there's an elevator as well. Tip: you can go even 1 floor higher to the roof.

I'm Polish, so I know what a good doughnut is like, and these are excellent doughnuts ;) We came on a rainy Sunday afternoon, so it was not too busy and we could enjoy the food from a cozy window overlooking the forest. It is possible to park for free at the top along the road leading to the tower, there is a free toilet, and the café can be accessed without paying the fee for the tower.

Probably the best doughnuts I have ever had. Make sure you try the spruce lemonade soda. It's made in house and it's fantastic.

If you are looking for good food with decent price in Tampere, search no further. Excellent three course meal - 20€ - and you can even choose fish or meat for the main. Also good beer selection.

Nice cozy place in Tampere city centre where my husband and I went for lunch. Out of three options available on the day we chose a halloumi salad and pike fish cakes on a parsnip purée. Overall, our meal (2 dishes and 2 small glasses of wine) costed 40 euros. The restaurant itself is pretty small and quiet. The staff were friendly. As we understand, the interior is intentionally vintage but to us it felt just old. This might be why the smell in the restaurant wasn’t nice either. Nevertheless, the food was tasty and that’s all that really counts for us!

The service was very friendly and the food tasty. I had a lentil soup that came with warm bread, baba ganoush that was excellent and tabbouleh that was nice and fresh. I was also able to tast the beans even if I didn’t order a dish with them. 🙏 The food was presented beautifully and the arabic inspired decor was cozy.

This is such a nice place, the Lebanese food is amazing. Lovely herby and authentic flavours! Almost everything can be made vegan soo it’s suitable for everyone. We tried a few different dishes and all of them were very tasty! Also the service is great and the food came very quickly after we ordered. The restaurant has a very calming vibe with nice and relaxing music. Definitely recommend this place and would come back for sure!

The vegan food is delicious, the portion sizes and pricing are reasonable, and the staff is pleasant. Regrettably, I wasn't particularly fond of the location, as it is rather cramped.

We had the bouillabaisse and arctic char - enjoyed both! The fish was done well with a really good crisp on the skin, sauce that was delish and accompanying asparagus and mushrooms that were done really well. The wine selection is good and the desert was petite but well executed. We enjoyed the feel of the place.

Best restaurant in Tampere! Of course the prices are not cheap, but considering the quality of the food, it is good value for money. The sauces and ingredients are always perfectly matched!

Amazing little French bistro in old market hall. Step in and spend time in this cozy and busy place. Open for breakfast from 9am and followed by lunch until 4pm. Daily changing lunch menu including some classic french specialities. Have some nice class of wine or Pastis and enjoy atmosphere. The “Bouillabaisse” is must try!

Having a cup of splendid cappuccino in the place with history, watching passerby doing their early shopping... isn’t that a great start for a lazy Saturday? Breakfast included eggs Benedict, croissant with jam, coffee and fresh orange juice. Everything tasted great except for the bread base of eggs Benedict. Although the sauce was on point and the egg perfectly poached, the bread came out too bland. The price of 12e for such breakfast sounds fair to me. The service was friendly and fast.

One of the best restaurants in town and IMO the #1 lunch restaurant. I could eat here every day. A must visit, you won't be disappointed. Today, we tested their breakfast which was excellent, as well.

The best breakfast at Tampere, no doubt! French breakfast includes cafe, fresh orange juice, croissant with strawberry jam (flawored with anis, omg, delicious!) and your choise of eggs; eggs benedict (=ham) / eggs royale (=cold smoked salmon) / eggs vegetarian (=tomato and eggplant, if I remember correctly). The price is 14 e, but if you are hungry - here’s a tip for you: double the eggs with +1,5 e 🥚🥚 Get a Mimosa on the side and start enjoying! 🥂😋

Lunch here was so good we came back the next day for breakfast. The seafood soup was fantastic - perfectly cooked seafood. The roast beef was beautifully pink and with a very delicious gravy. The eggs benedict for breakfast shouldn’t be missed. 5 stars. Also I forgot to mention the starter salad that came free with lunch - we didn’t expect it and the flavour of the bread and dressing brought us both huge smiles when we were feeling quite down. The power of good food. Thanks so much.

We came for lunch but, based on our experience and other reviews, American-style breakfast is more their strong suit. The pasta dish and broccoli-cheddar soup were perfectly alright but felt like a home-cooked meal more in the underwhelming sense that it’s something I could have made at home myself. While I wouldn’t maybe recommend their lunch offers, I’ll have to come back to try out the pancakes!

Lovely and good looking tasty food

Fine-dining it is. There was a predefined complete menu with accompanying wines. All matched very well. Some of the courses had original surprising twists in the taste, others were just excellently done. Service is professional.

Friendly service, tasty food and cozy place. It was a big hectic visit as the place was full of customers, but the staff did good job of serving everyone. Few little mistakes here and there but that was to be expected. One of our party ate the vegetarian version of the menu and she was very satisfied too!

This restaurant is a good example of how a great fine dining tasting menu should taste like. Every time we go here it's like a new culinary experience with nice surprises. The somelier has always perfect wines prepared to go with the dishes. Definitelly recommend this place to anyone who loves food and great wine. They also serve lunch and I definitelly recommend everyone to give it a try, if you have about an hour to spare on lunch.

Nice Little cafe at the heart of the city. However, little expensive for what they have to offer. The outdoor seating is pretty nice during summer time. The indoor seating is good but very congested, if it is crowded you may not feel very comfortable. The food items are average nothing extra ordinary and the coffee may have a burnt taste sometimes. Nevertheless, worth a try! They have relatively cheap breakfast buffet compared to the restaurants around!

We came for breakfast and took 2 pieces of the salmon pie, double espresso and big black tea, it cost 18 euros. The tea and espresso were fine, but the pie was very crispy, dry, and buttery at the same time, it didn't taste fresh. Based on it, I'd say the meal was overpriced. Note, that place offers proper breakfast only during the weekend. The atmosphere in the place felt a bit depressing, I'd not come here for the morning energy boost. The barista was polite and friendly

This place is really cute! The location and atmosphere of the cafe is very nice and cozy, and that's its best part. Vegetarian sandwich was really good, cake was ok, BUT coffee is not good at all. So burnt that some might find it undrinkable. I'll keep going there, but not taking coffee ever after :)

Pretty bad coffee, implicitly cappuccino. I am disappointed if I have to speak about coffee in Finland. It's pretty bad. Even if it is a coffee made at an espresso machine it tastes like a boiled coffee. Beside the coffee taste which was bad, the milk foam was quite bad too. And I don't understand why it's so hot! You need to wait for 10 minutes until you can start sipping...and by then the foam is gone.

Quite disappointing. Everything in the burger was mushy and soft. Would've liked some charring on the burger patty and buns to bring some crispy texture. I suppose the flavour was decent though. The atmosphere is not very relaxing, though that's true everywhere in Kauppahalli.

One of the best burger places in Tampere. I used to eat here and order from them a lot when they had the Smash Lamb burger. It’s unfortunate that they removed it from the menu, as it was great.

I visited a couple of days ago and had the Hawaiian BBQ Burger – it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the burger was juicy and fresh. Definitely coming back for more!

Oh my... What an amazing burger place. Love the ohana burger and can't wait to try the KFC burger. This place can be crowded during lunch rush hour but other than that it's cozy little place to enjoy a gourmet burger. Friendly and warm service, I highly recommend for d any one who is looking for a great meal for an affordable price. FYI... there is kids meal also in the menu.

Tried their chicken burger and I have to say that I was really enthusiast to find such a moist and soft fried chicken. It takes skills to do it. Not 5 stars yet because I will go back and try different items from their menu. Location is really good, good atmosphere and surely they know what to do in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

A very nice cafe if you’re looking for traditional cozy Nordic vibes with a touch of vintage theme. I opted for the apple pie and my friend for the cheesecake. Both were delicious. There’s good facilities for children too and lots of seating throughout. The layout of the place has been well organised with the drinks station. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Overpriced! Absolutely a waste of money! What they offer there isn't worth of paying 52 EURO per person. Not the most friendly service. For instance, I was told that I must go "clock wise" around the table to get food. Our children took few candies, and employees of the restaurant looked at them unfriendly. Unpleasant and not relaxed atmosphere. Some casseroles were burned. Bread looked old. Very small selection of hot meals and dessert. You get better service, atmosphere and food selection somewhere else for fair price.

Lovely food from an experienced team. Would have given 5 star's but felt the 'newer' waitress still needs to hone her skills - but trust she will from the rest of the experienced team. One little niggle- my main course came out before I'd finished my starter - was taken back and brought out when I was then ready but my husband had eaten half of his dinner by then. Slightly above average food, poor service. Not worth the longish detour, if you are not local. The food is made from ok ingredients, but not of particularly high quality. The dishes themselves are quite straightforward, and well executed as such. But there is no particular edge or excitement to any of it. Overpriced for the quality and the location. As for the service, this might be a problem with one particular waiter, but today things veered between brusque and rude. Felt like the waitress knew better than the customer and projected barely controlled ill mood constantly. Examples: it was 18C outside, but the air conditioner was blowing cold air at full blast to our reserved table. Asking for it to be turned lower or off resulted in a blunt "no, others will have a hard time of it".. contrary to common sense. The waitress left the table not saying anything more, but eventually turned the thing off. Setting the table involved banging the cutlery and glasses on the table, water was poured to glasses with such vigour it splashed all around. Ordering felt like an interrogation or an exam. We could see people in other tables raise their eyebrows.at each other for similar behaviour. Plates being delivered banged my shoulder. Lastly, whether it is the service quality of this one waiter, or generic... a strange business model, where customers are not offered anything to drink except water (unasked), and no dessert was queried about except when ordering mains. When pointed out that, as is usual, we did not know yet if we wanted dessert, the waitress stared sullenly and never asked at the end. Seemed to be the same for the table next to us. If you boast about your wine list online, and push dessert in the beginning, would make sense to offer something. So, we took our money elsewhere for drinks and dessert. I actually wonder if coffee would have been included, but we'll never find out. Might not even merit three stars, 2.5 would be closer to it.

There are not that many small restaurants in the area with good food, a relaxed atmosphere in an old building; this is one of them.

Fresh sushi with miso soup, hot tea and homemade vinegar ginger, what a luxury! Clean and authentic, very good dining experience. Thanks for your uplifting spirit and nice service. I would take the mayonnaise off and just have grilled salmon nigiri tho if that is an option 🫶🏼

The best Japanese food ever tasted outside of Japan. The salmon is ultra fresh and melts in your mouth. The quantities are really generous. The service and setting are perfect. I am coming back tomorrow!

I stumbled my way through kauppatori not having any idea what I wanted for lunch. Something about the atmosphere and intimate setting drew me in. But my god, hands down best sushi I’ve had in Finland and possibly ever. Each piece might not look perfect but I can see each individual piece of sushi was made with love. Every bite was fantastic. I can’t wait to come back here!

Master has left the building. This is the first time i visited Umami since the former chef/owner left last month to pursue other dreams. Knowing transitions are never easy, I allowed some weeks to settle in for the new operator. First dissapointment came on payment. Lunchcards do not work anymore, so bye bye on saving taxes while eating. I got my order very quickly, maybe 1/3 of the average waiting time. but since another customer who was there before me, got his lunch same time as me, i started to suspect if some of the dishes were prepared and stored before my arrival. Formerly I could always expect that the dishes are prepared after order is made, which is understandably time consuming. First taste on salmon nigiri revealed that the rise was noticeably dry, hard and untasty compared to the former chef's creations. The fish tasted good as usual, but some of the new additions with egg and sesame tasted quite odd. In general everything but the sweet tamago/creme brulee was hindered by sub par quality rise. Also the composition of the sushi's looked like pretty rushed compared to the fine artistry on previous visits. so there goes the aestethics as well. Regrettably the Umami I knew for years is gone for now. The quality/price ratio cannot be justified anymore, unless major improvements are made.

The sushi is very fresh and tasty, but the miso soup is a bit weak in flavor. The most important thing (in my opinion), is that they put too much homemade sauce in the sushi, which is kind of a pity because it hides a bit the really good taste of the fresh salmon.

The homemade ginger they served was delicious, salmon and rice were tender and fresh.

Probably my favourite place to eat in Tampere. Everything is made directly on site, very good quality-price balance It was my 1st stop in Tampere after getting out at the train station

Really cool Flea market, can find almost anything here, really good prices also. They have a small cafe and unfortunately if you need to pee it'll cost you €1, but in all fairness it's a great place to visit, especially if you like thrift shopping and enjoy surfing charity shops.

Wanna coffee while you hunting secondhand vinyls ,C tapes or any other secondhand.then this is a good place to go.

Probably my favorite second hand store in Tampere. Various of items for fairly cheap items, and the excellent location of the store is hard to go unnoticed. However the air ventilation is a bit questionable, as I tend to get severe headaches occasionally

Really good vegan pizza and friendly workers

Went there by chance with family and relatives. The pizzas were excellent and service great. There were many of us but everybody got their food at the same time which amazed me as we didn't order in advance.

Super friendly Afghan brothers and by far one of the best pizza 🍕 breads in Tampere. I'm a food delivery guy myself and these guys could own this city of they wanted

Chicken Mexicana is an excellent choice, good vegan pizza selection as well. And very nice staff. Order online or on app for 15% off if picking up. Best spot for a cheap pizza around Hämeenpuisto area, better than Etelän on Hämeenkatu for sure

In quest to find the perfect pepperoni pie from Finland, this was pretty close to 10/10. Family sized plain pepperoni pie with extra pepperoni and mozzarella (spiced up with oregano, black pepper and hot sauce). This was exactly what pepperoni pie should be, a greasy, cheesy and salty hug from heaven. Also tried the Slicemonger's NY pepperoni slice but it was missing the dirty mojo this pie had. (Next time I might consider doubling the extra moz to get even more cheesy pie)

Decent pizzas and lunch options. Also serves a variety of vegetarian and vegan pies. Clean environment, speedy and helpfull staff who do their best to accommodate large orders too.

This is a quaint place inside the central closed market in Tampere. I say quaint because I found it unusual. There are wooden large tables in a corner space and opposite is the window were the food is presented. You choose between 5 or 6 day dishes and you point your selection to the ultra polite ladies behind the window The portions are generous, although I never understood if you can get all you want or you have to pay more for extra! 😆 The cuisine is finnish and very filling. Try the salmon soup it's delicious. The place is cheap, a rarity in Finland 😆

Probably the best restaurant I've been to in Finland. This place is UNREAL. The food is absolutely gorgeous and delicious, I was in absolute heaven eating their duck and port rillette; it is out of this world. The disco vibes of the palace were really fun and added a great atmosphere to the place. What really set this place apart was the service; it made me realise what I miss from my home. Fun, charismatic owners and staff who want to you to enjoy the food and wine and tell you about it! We will be back!

Cosy place. Delicious food, especially the sauces in several of the dishes were amazing. The menu option was a bit confusing “you can choose some things, but some things we choose for you”, so that we in any case ended up ordering separate courses. Very highly recommended.

First and last time here. The food was really basic, and nothing that I coudn't easilly make at home myself. The snacks were just items, that could be bought directly from any supermarket. Grilled vegetables tasted like someone had done a large batch in oven without any seasoning last week and held in fridge since. It was served with labneh, which tasted only youghurt, nothing else. Ceaser salad got really boring half way trough. But the main disappointment was the main course. Aubergine and sauce consisted of THREE small pieces of aubergine (propably from same batch as those other vegetables) and mediocre tomato soup. There would have been also cheeses as dessert, but I declined those. Service was friendly but unprofessional. They had an à la carte and also semi-fixed menu, but that later seemed just confusing both to me and other guests. The place looked dated and was in need of renovation. They had "most overplayed songs of the 80's" playing in the background. Not the greatest choice. Alcohol free drink options were quite limited and boring. That's not uncommon here, however. Can't say about their wine selection. I have no idea, how in the earth this place got to the "50 best restaurants in Finland" -list this year.

A fun place with nice vibes! Our waitress was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu and had a great sense of humour. The food was great and nice portion sizes. Their beer was really tasty too. I wish I had tried the mead! Next time for sure.

This is a fabulous place to experience Scandinavian and Nordic, cuisine, culture and history. The restaurant is old world viking style that offers great traditional food and atmosphere. We had one of the best meals we have had in Finland. Thank you Hilda and others for the great service!

We had the lamb steak, the beef tartar, the cod appetizer, and the meat plate. Finished with a chocolate cake and raspberry sherbet. It was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was amazing and made me feel like I was in a fairytale. Plus we hadn’t eh nicest waitresses. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Tampere.

I really loved this venue in particular because of the beautiful atmosphere with viking music. The food was pretty nice, hight standard. However, the prices are slightly above the average, but this can be justified watching the great location. The weiters were really polite and prepared. I suggested this place to try a different food experience.

It's not far from Burger King. I was a bit disappointed when I had the burger. It's small, the meat is so thin and the taste is just fast food taste. If I have to compare it with a real burger then 1* would be more than enough.

Nice place to enjoy some original burgers with normal or special fries. I did enjoy a smash burger with sweet potato fries and a homemade cola: it was wonderful! The place is clean, the preparation quite fast and the staff kind and efficient.

This place is perfect for a meal where affordability and quality go beyond expectations. The burger was really good overall. The chicken burger(pihvi) is on the thinner side, which might be a bit disappointing if you prefer a juicier, thicker chicken burger, but the flavor still holds up well. The fries were a standout: super fresh and perfectly salted. The drink was great too, and having a fountain drink station with an option for ice is a huge plus, especially refreshing on a hot summer day! Fun fact: This place uses over 95% Finnish ingredients, which is really cool considering the prices are low. Supporting local like this is a beautiful thing!

Lovely food and amazing service! We went on a very hot summer day so it was sweltering inside, but the limitless soda helped a bit 😅 Dog-friendly and immediately gave my dog some water, overall very pet-friendly place. Amazing food, I have some allergies and the staff was very throughout in making sure everything I had was free and made modifications to the burger I ordered, and even came to ask me after delivering my food if everything was okay. A lovely place all together with loads of Finnish ingredients and great prices for delicious burgers!

I have had different pitas from Fafa's. Goat cheese is my favorite. Pitas are fine. My latest choice was Goat Cheese Meze, - disgusting. Iceberg lettuce with pita from Lidle or other grocery shops. Very disapointed. The cheese and falafel was okay. Since the shopkeeper deside to score his employer while i am eating - i never go back.

A great chain restaurant that offers delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian portions. Trendy yet not too expensive restaurant. They have quite good selection of various vegetarian salad/pita/kebab options that are gluten free too. This restaurant aren't the cheapest option but price to quality isn't too bad. You'll get what you pay for. There's several delicious options to choose from which sound really weird for people who doesn't know better. Just ask if you don't know - service here is really friendly. Trendy place that has also trendy atmosphere which can be seen from customers. Young adults from a bit international edge. Pro tip from loyal customers: you can eat your food at the joined terrace with Beaver bar so no need to stay at small terrace. Just grab your food and wander to Beaver bar terrace side.

Excellent falafel! The pitas are tasty, although a bit messy to eat (I was offered a plate for eating also, should've accepted). The staff was happy to answer questions about the food, the service in general was good.

Fafa's presents you a selection of middle Eastern pita sandwiches, suiting meat lovers as well as vegans. Besides the sandwiches, you will also find a few side dishes, such as Hummus (love it!), sweet potato fries with tzatziki, among others. Bottom line, Fafa's offer a delicious fast meal which you can eat in or take out. Definitely worth the visit.

My 1st experience having the kebab here & I usually had kebab in wrapped. Although the spiciness not on my level ( asked for the spiciest 😅) but it’s tasty still & yum 😋. It’s also come with big portion, so I shared with my husband. We both liked it. Can see from the empty plate pic.

We came here at like midnight, the owner was welcoming and everything, we ordered a few kebabs and the ex lover and margarita pizzas, the pizzas were nice but the kebabs were awful. The waiter wanted us to pick up the kebabs from the top of the stair so he doesn’t have to come down while we were sitting 2 meters away from him but brought the pizzas to our table.

Best kebab in Tampere in my opinion. I have been frequenting this establishment since it opened in late 80s. I highly recommend their pita kebab with everything. Punjab is known for their sauces, there's more than just the red sauce what usually gets put on the kebab meat in Finland. The lettuce is nice and crispy that they put on top.

Worst worst worst restaurant in Tampere. We were 5 people and we had spent 85 euro, everything was vain. they are simply making money, instead of giving attention on making of foods. Even if they live in happiest country, they are making people unhappy who buy the food at their restaurant.

Worst kebab ever eat in Finland. No taste. No good service

A bit like an American diner, which suits the area and building style. However, their options for kebab and amazing lunch buffet-style salad bar makes it worth the money you pay, whether lunch or dinner menu. The Iskinder, unfortunately, was probably cooked in butter and I’m lactose intolerant so…

The whole pizza and iskender kebab was covered in sauce, nothing other than the salad bar tasted good, the kebab tasted nothing like meat and smelled fatty. The worst food I’ve had in Tampere.

I learned about Evin restaurant in 2019 when a Kurdish friend introduced it to me. Until today, I come here to enjoy my food with friends. The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and prompt. The ambiance creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for any occasion. The food is excellent—delicious, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. Overall, it's a place I highly recommend for an enjoyable meal and a lasting experience.

Not recommended. The salad buffet is a joke, the lettuce was pale and even had a chemical taste. The pizza table is poorly run and unhygienic. People use the same serving equipment for meat/vegetarian/fish pizza etc. Staff not cleaning up the mess that the kids make using the buffet, looks more like feeding time at the zoo than a restaurant. It's a big disappointment.

50e for 3 people buffets on a Sunday. Was not very busy, but pizza area always empty, as per picture. Long wait between them bringing another one. Seemed more concerned about completing takeaway orders than providing food for the people sat in the restaurant. Not recommended.

This is not worth the money unless you just want Alot of food for the money. The quality of pizzas and sallads are less than what you can expect. The selection of pizzas at one point is too narrow, they are not fast enough to Always have a fresh selection.. The sallad is just a narrow selection of base vegetables and with poor range of dressings, herbs, salts and oils.

Eat All You Want restaurant in the old but smartly renovated shopping mall in the center of Tampere. Soup of the day, seasoned bread, salad with ingredients, pizza slices (also for vegans, I hear), wings, sausages, meat balls, onion rings, soft drinks and soft ice cream with sweet sauces. Fill up your daily calorie intake in a single meal (or don't :)!

A Tampere legend, and an absolute must for visitors. We’ve been driving past here for a year and finally stopped after several locals told us it’s definitely worth it and we were not disappointed. Hearty portions at relatively good prices. Beautiful views of Näsijärvi from the deck.

Classic grill kiosk with stellar reputation in Tampere. Was expecting more than what I got - food was quite bland, but mustard so sharp you’ll taste nothing else and start worrying it will burn a hole in your intestines. Lots of choises for vegetarians/vegans.

If grillkiosk is something for you then this should be on your list. It is bit dirty and outside but thats kinda the point. Good view onto Näsijärvi an Pispalan Haulitorni. Food though was really good. We had chicken special with onion rings (9.60 €) and a chicken aura special (price 9.80 euros, 1.05.2024).

I need to preface this review by stating that 5 stars for a fine dining place are not the same as 5 stars for a grill. Nonetheless, Vaakon Nakki is deserving of all these 5 stars. It is a grill with a place in the cultural history of the city. The food is great, amazing even. Their classics are amazing- if you want to be either disgusted or delighted or both, try the Kuuma koira. It is a steamed sweet bun (munkki) with all the hotdog stuff in it. Yes, when my friend told me to try it, I was aghast, it could not be good. But oh dear lord is it amazing. I feel like Remi the rat in Ratatouille with the flavours. The sercive, even though grill kiosk service, is always nice and speedy. The food is great across the board, and all the options are actually thought through and work well. The place is a small hole in the wall- literally this time. There is some covered seating but is all outdoors, during colder times a lot of people come by car and eat in their cars. And that is kind of a vibe too. But the inventor of the Kuuma koira has had to have been some sort of a lunatic, because it is both disgusting as a thought and delicious as an experience.

Visited this place for first time with my friend last week. But definitely will be back some day when walking around

I don't know where does he get the idea that he can send me a maximum unhealthy 'pizza'. Uneducated 'chef'. Waste of money!! PS: Reason why I just ordered from them was that they have 8.8 score in Wolt which is misleading, here everyone is complaining.

Called to the place and the they said the delivery time to my address was 30min as they told. After waiting 40min I called back asking how long it would take. Got answer it’s on the way. 50mins from the first call they call back to me saying its only cash because of network problems. The guy comes to my house after one hour saying pay or he will leave. …He left without any payment.

This place hates the planet - only huge portions available - half of food seems to get left on people's plates and thrown out, hard reusable plastic cutlery as single use and everything in one bin. Nice staff otherwise. Could be much less of a guilt trip with just few basic changes.

Still good, and big hamburgers! 7-10euros=full stomach, and you can spend the rest of your money to beer and slot machines. Friendly lady working there, could be the owner, dont know yet. Parking lot and also terrace.

One of my goto-places for tasty and sizable burgers, with or without side dishes. Veggie stuff served as well (sorry, haven't tasted but seen people order those quite often, so can't be bad). Used to be open 24/7, now from early morning to midnight (UPDATE: 24/7 still applies on Friday and Saturday). Quite recently, a drive-in lane was added. You can eat in or take out (distancing and cleanliness rules apply inside). There is a 5 to 6 car parking lot outside, so it's easily accessible while driving. Just be careful when drawing out from the parking lot towards the center of Tampere, lots of oncoming pedestrians, cyclists and car traffic from both directions.

One of the largest menus of various unhealthy but delicious late night greasebombs there is. Has a grocery store and lots of Veikkaus gambling machines.

For fast food the wait was way too long. I saw each number on the dashboard go away to the point I was standing just there in front of the clerks of a long period. The food was sitting there for a good while… Anyway, the burger itself I found it very McDonald’s-ish. Better ingredients than in the USA but I wouldn’t waste too much time here.

Very friendly staff, long waiting times for „fast“ food and the food could have been better, as well as one order being wrong. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed and there were quite a few digital orders coming in, so no problem. Restaurant was mostly clean.

I have no real complaints; the staff is friendly and helpful, food is the same as any other Hesburger, and the location near the train station and several culture hotspots is excellent.

This has always been the slowest Hesburger in all of Finland, but today it was even worse. After waiting twenty minutes for our food (for reference, the Hesburger at the Helsinki train station served the same order in under five minutes), I was feeling happy because other times I have had to wait 30+minutes here, until I arrived home, opened my order, and it was the wrong one. You really cannot fulfill a fast food order right in twenty minutes? Christ alive.

One of the worst hesburger ever! They delivered me a wrong wrap (veggie instead of chicken)! Veggie thing in hesburger are ineatable. I wasn’t able to finish the wrap, because it was owful! Never will go again!!!!

I don't really know why, but this establishment (not only in Hervanta but other places as well) seems more friendly and food is so much better than other Fast Food restaurants. As a foreigner I really love Hesburger!

We originally ordered from this place through the Wolt app and loved the food so much, we thought why not visit in person? Best decision ever! The pizza was too good (I was already full, but somehow kept eating), and even after that, my husband and I ordered chicken wraps juicy, flavorful, and way more than we expected! The atmosphere was clean and cozy, and the person there was so kind and friendly. It’s been a while since we had such a satisfying dinner. We’re definitely going again… and again. Trust me, whoever visits this place won’t regret it!

Best kebab in Tampere. The salad was the freshest I've had in any restaurant so far, crispy and tasty, the meat and the sauce was delicious. I had potatoes with garlic sauce and mmmmm👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👀 yaaas. Ate here again after half a year, its still heavenly good. The dough is delicious, the toppings and sauce is just... I'm speechless, never had better pizza in my entire life. Also its a family business, the owner is super nice!!

We got totally wrong products on take-away. Also the pizza were horrible bad, just wetty pepper and cheese, didn't even taste salt and fat as usually with these pizzerias. Wait time were about 40 mins who's were really bad. Then staff didn't even told before hand that there will be long waiting time. I wouldn't never go to this place again and couldn't less recommend anybody else to do so.

Amazing food and friendly staff...loved the decor it was lil bit different and fun

The pizza tasted great and it was ready in around 15 mins. The service was awesome, the server was very nice and even asked if I liked it. You can also order it on Wolt with cheap delivery. A great local pizzeria, I recommend!

Pizzas are excellent! I haven't been disappointed once. The owner told me he always uses fresh and quality ingredients and it shows. He also likes to experiment a lot, so there are some quite interesting pizza choices in the menu.
