Nestled in the heart of Helsinki's vibrant design district, Café Bar No 9 is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. This charming bistro offers an array of international dishes, from hearty burgers and flavorful stir-fries to comforting pasta options. With its minimalistic yet traditional Nordic decor, the café attracts a trendy crowd eager to enjoy local artwork on display while savoring their meals.
Came here for an early dinner. The place is walkable from the city center. The ambience is nice. The staffs are super friendly and welcoming. We ordered salmon soup and and a Thai soup. The soup were just amazing, the rye bread amazing lathered with generous amount of butter. The combination of the bred and soup was just outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Helsinki. Do give it a go.
Satyajit D — Google review
The place was pretty empty when we went there so the atmosphere was quiet. We had to order at the bar and the food came pretty quickly. My friend got the caesar salad and i got the kill bill wokit. The food itself was pretty good but my food tasted like there was absolutely no salt added to it. I had to add salt every 2 bites. But it could be just my taste 🤷‍♀️. Prices were good. The portions were huge for us (and i usually can eat a lot). Overall a nice experience.
Inessa — Google review
Had a great experience at Cafe Bar 9 in Helsinki! I ordered the pasta pesto with fresh spinach, it was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A bit better air conditioning would make it even more comfortable, but overall it’s a lovely spot. Definitely recommended!
Rima B — Google review
Super glad I found this place!! Tried the traditional salmon soup and it was SO YUM! The price is also so much lesser than a restaurant. Staff are very friendly and great atmosphere inside.
Xiao C — Google review
This places feels like a canteen, where people on a low budget would go to or students etc. The decor was uninspiring and sad. The one bar man was super busy but quite friendly, he needs more help with taking food/ drink orders and serving drinks. Food service was slow but I’ll try and be positive, that this was because everything was freshly made to order. They do a meal deal, didn’t try it myself. Salmon soup with bread was very good, but the lemon chicken pasta was terrible. Prices were too high when considering the surroundings and food quality
Sam — Google review
Such good food in Helsinki. Definitely a local gem! We ate there pretty late 9:30pm~ summer sun had messed up our hunger/timing. Salmon soup and salmon pasta were divine. Service was great. Art was cool. Loved it!
Marissa F — Google review
Second time visiting and limoncello pasta is maybe one of the best dishes I have eaten. The staff is great and friendly. Only problem with this place (property) is, that when the restaurant is crowded, the noise level goes way too high. Both of the times I visited it felt like my eardrums were going to explode.
Viivi — Google review
A nice, small, and casual restaurant specializing in pasta and noodles. I went there to try the Pollo Limonello pasta — it was delicious with a creamy, tangy flavor, but a bit on the heavier side. The portion was generous, and I couldn’t quite finish it, but I really enjoyed the taste!

Fafa's in Kallio is a Moroccan-style restaurant known for its vegetarian and Middle Eastern offerings, particularly its falafel and hummus. Despite its modest appearance, the eatery has gained popularity for serving generous portions of flavorful dishes. Fafa's started as a single shop but has expanded into a chain with 19 locations across Finland, emphasizing vegetarian and vegan options.
Quaint restaurant with nice atmosphere, good food and a reasonable price for the area. They have amazing gluten free pitas. Knowledgeable staff.

The owner’s vibes were immaculate and so was his pita. Tried the falafel & halloumi one and it was delicious. Perfect for a quick meal!

I like the pita I ordered (with chicken and fresh colander), but I wish to know all the ingredients. I love the citron lemonade 😊 The service is really nice and kind - they inform customers about the current discount. Overall the price and quality is good

Hamburger restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Restaurant
Friends & Brgrs is a popular burger joint in Helsinki that prides itself on using quality ingredients and offering a wide variety of burger options. While it may not offer the most romantic ambiance, the food is described as good, filling, and affordable. The establishment also features a 'burger of the month' special, with past offerings including a reindeer burger during the Christmas period.
Friends & Brgrs delivers on what matters most - quality food and good service. The burgers are genuinely tasty, with a nice variety of options that cater to different preferences. Whether you’re craving a classic beef burger or something more adventurous, there’s likely something on the menu that’ll hit the spot. The staff stands out as particularly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes the dining experience enjoyable. The service feels genuine rather than forced, which goes a long way in making customers feel comfortable.
Hassan A — Google review
It is right by the railway station and belongs to Finland’s most popular burger chain. The food arrived fast, the burgers were tasty, and we had none of the stomach issues we sometimes get at McDonald’s or Burger King. I give it four stars only because the self-service ordering screens were confusing, the English translation was messy, and we had to rely on our phones for Google Translate. Everything else was great, so I still recommend it.
Fabrizio P — Google review
Nice little burger joint ! The burger was nice, and the sweet potato fries just the perfect mix between crunchy and soft. The service was quick, and it was overall very nice. I do however would like to note that the menus aren't fully translated in English, so it's nice to have a Finnish friend with you :)
Tessa M — Google review
1. The burger is really delicious! Soft drinks are free from the dispenser on the side of the counter. I didn’t know at first and ordered from the machine, which comes with canned drinks instead. 2. The beef in the burger is super good compared to many other burger chains I’ve tried. 👉 A MUST-TRY place!
Wenny H — Google review
Very friendly service, empty and quiet atmosphere during Saturday lunch time when I was the first customer to arrive. I tried their Burger of the month Reindeer burger which was pretty meh 😐🫠 Lacking flavour, but very expensive cost me over 19 € as a meal incl. truffle dip 🤤😋
Fangda C — Google review
One of the best fast food I've ever eaten anywhere in the world. The soft bread is good and artisanal and is prepared in front of the tables, artisanal fries, freshly cut and fried. The quality of the ingredients of the hamburger are exceptional. Quiet and clean environment, open and visible kitchens, clean and very friendly and professional staff. The price is right. The drinks are self-served. I will gladly return every time I return to Helsinki.
Marco Z — Google review
This is a really great hamburger restaurant. The Friends buns and juicy patties, which are handmade in-house, are particularly appealing points. The Friends Burger is my favorite. It has an only one that sets it apart from other hamburgers. I love everything including the bun, patty, and original sauce. I go back again and again. When it comes to hamburger shop in Finland, I strongly recommend to eat the Friends Burger !
Daisuke S — Google review
The burger was delicious, but the ordering vending machine wasn't fully in English, making it slightly challenging to use. The service was friendly, and you need to keep your receipt for the toilet access codes. The atmosphere was decent, though the burger smoke made it a bit too smelly.

Seafood restaurant
Boulevard Bar & Seafood is a trendy Scandinavian seafood restaurant situated on Bulevardi, one of Helsinki's oldest streets. In just two years, it has become a favorite among seafood enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a cozy summer terrace with views of Vanha Kirkkopuisto, where patrons can savor fresh oysters, clams, fish, and mussels prepared using various cooking techniques. The establishment is known for its love and respect for ingredients.
An unforgettable experience at Boulevard in Helsinki Our visit to Boulevard was nothing short of exceptional! We were lucky to get seats at the bar, where we indulged in an incredible variety of cocktails. Each one was perfectly crafted and an absolute delight – huge compliments to the bartender, who was not only highly skilled but also incredibly attentive. We started with oysters, which were fresh and flawlessly prepared. Next came the elk tartare, a dish that impressed us with its refined flavors and texture – a must-try for anyone looking for something unique. For the main course, we had lobster, served with a heavenly garlic-chili-parsley butter. The flavors were unforgettable and left us craving more! To top it all off, we enjoyed a lemon soufflé for dessert, which we enhanced with a touch of cloudberry purée – an absolute dream to finish the meal. The ambiance, the impeccable service, and the outstanding quality of both food and drinks made Boulevard a truly special experience. Five stars simply don’t do justice to the incredible team, especially the bartender - and of course the Chef, who never fails. We felt completely at home and can’t wait to return when we are back in Helsinki! Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
JF W — Google review
The kingfish was very good with the special green sauce. ( you need to order raw platter then you will have the king fish) the waitress and the chef were so kind, they gave me addition green sauce to eat with mussels. The lobster was good too.
Melody — Google review
Lovely atmosphere. A bit oldschool, but in a very positive way. Cosy seating, stylish Interieur and a tiny bit of old grandeur. Service was friendly, some smaller hiccups, but nothing major. Really enjoyed my waldorf salad. Fresh and intense - just as it should be. Also enjoyed the fish, yet for a Dover sole it was not exactly at the upper end. Really good potato purée. Not too shale, not too intense. The haricots were a bit off and too sour for my taste. All in all I would recommend the bar, even if the value for price is not the best.
Maximilian H — Google review
I ordered the tartare as a starter while my friends had the salmon. I got to try a bit of everything, and overall the flavors complemented each other very well. A really enjoyable meal.
Nue N — Google review
Ate the Amex dinner menu today. I chose the beef tartar as a starter and Iberico pork as a main course. Tartar was nice, but not the best I’ve eaten, could say that quite simple version of a beef tartar in general. But then the Iberico was awesome. Well seasoned, cooked perfectly and sauces 5/5. And the non-alcoholic Riesling was the best non-alcoholic wine I have ever tasted, I personally do recommend trying it for everyone - also for the ones who would usually prefer alcoholic ones!
Matias — Google review
Boulevard Bar & Seafood is located along a charming area of the Esplanade district of Helsinki and is within easy walking distance of the ferry piers and the town's main sightseeing areas. As a Michelin 2024 restaurant, it was relatively good but not exceptional. Service trailed a bit by the end of our meal and the wine was extremely pricey. Overall, an enjoyable meal but not one I'd repeat.
Path F — Google review
Seafood feast in heart of Helsinki city. It’s not that every restaurant I go to, everything is great. I do my research as per what I feel like eating before I pick a place. I really wanted to enjoy seafood in Scandinavia as I was close to North Sea which is probably the heaven for seafood. I found this place which had a passionate chef when we met him and extraordinary staff who was well aware of ultimate cooking temperature and all for most of the dishes. I had a great time with my friends dining here and enjoyed every bite of most of the menu. A must try place
Kayman — Google review
Best seafood restaurant in Helsinki! Food was extremely tasty, huge recommendation for Pasta Vongole (best ever) and their signature dish Trout never disappoints. Very friendly and professional service with amazing wine list. And don’t leave without trying their Espresso Martini, it’s to die for! 100% worth of money! Must try when in Helsinki.

Nestled in the tranquil Katajanokka area, Restaurant Wellamo has been a beloved establishment since 1975. Under the leadership of Chef Dani Hanninen, the restaurant offers a delightful fusion of traditional and contemporary dishes, showcasing seasonal Nordic ingredients sourced from local producers. The cozy and romantic ambiance is complemented by a thoughtfully curated wine list catering to both traditional and natural wine enthusiasts.
Extremely delicious food and wonderful, surprising wines! We had the menu with wineparing and it was earthy, full and adventures! I can highly recommend the place and I will definitely go there again!!!
Charlotta S — Google review
Food is fresh and delicious. The biscuits at the end of the meal was alright, but i have tasted nicer ones. We had mixed pairing with the menu. We sat in the restaurant as it was quite cold outside. We are a big group of 8. Even though they fit us in, it was a little cramp and i was bumped into by the wait staff a couple of times.
Vic W — Google review
Every dish was delicious and its own art piece. Great wines and also tasty non-alcoholic beverages. Great for vegetarians also! The atmosphere in this place is cozy; the building itself is unique. To top it off, we really enjoyed the laidback and friendly service. Topnotch experience!
Alisa — Google review
By far the best dinner we had in Helsinki. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, creative and very delicious dishes.
Viktor I — Google review
Interesting flavors, but really small portions - our group admitted the next day they ended up eating something else later in the night, as we left pretty hungry. I honestly hate being the person leaving a review like this, but throughout the multiple-course tasting dinner, we wondered "when will the entree rounds finish and the main course get served", just to get the dessert come out aka the last course (which I loved, the homemade toffee cubes were so good!). As for the "interesting" flavors, I think some of the food was a tad overflavored/oversalted. I love flavors, but the the salt was really overpowering in some of the dishes.
Kristina K — Google review
Fine-dine in a idyllic classic neighbourhood cornerhouse. Amazing food and service. Lovely terrace suring summer

Very good experience! I’ve loved the 4 courses menu, every plate was really good with tasty and well balanced flavours. I think the main course was really terrific. Very good atmosphere and lovely service. Totally worth the price (witch was, by the way, very honest). Highly recommended!

Wino is a charming bistro nestled in the trendy Kallio district of Helsinki, offering a wide array of unique natural wines alongside an impressive fine dining menu with French culinary influences. The ambiance exudes a Parisian vibe, making it an ideal spot for a delightful getaway. It's advisable to make reservations in advance due to its popularity.
We had the tasting menu and it was diverse and super tasty! Every dish is an experience and the service is as professional as it gets. Great catalan wines topped the night.
Imma R — Google review
We ordered the 5 dish menu. Both fish dishes were really lovely but two of the dishes (tartar and beef something) were quite boring and flavourless. Dessert was definitely interesting! Service could have been a bit more in depth, we didn't get much info about the wine selection and not many other drinks than wine were available. Quite small portions, we were left hungry but the dishes looked fabulous. Average good, it was a nice dinner but wouldn't neccesarily go again.
Iisa H — Google review
Really nice and cozy atmosphere (esp. if you book a table towards the back side of the restaurant). Food was really delicious, everything we ordered was good. My favourite was the Celeriac Slider. Enjoyed the vibe, food and different wines (the cheese plate was average and very small). The selection could be better (esp with the drinks..also there were no non-alcoholic options), and you can not change anything in the tasting menu, which was a bummer. Overall, I would recommend the place and would go again. Its a nice place to hangout with your friends and enjoy a long evening with good food and vibes.
Priyanka B — Google review
Wino must be one of the best restaurants in Helsinki. It is definitely my favourite. The food is always amazing. The wine is delicious. The staff is super nice and the cosy look of the place just makes you feel so comfortable to just sit down for hours.. would recommend it anytime!
Nicolina F — Google review
Fantastic food and friendly service with fairly affordable prices, and plenty of gluten free options. We had the 5 course menu and enjoyed everything we were offered. The flavors were clear, well balanced and distinguishable, the ingredients were fresh and used well and the portion sizes were good. Everything on the menu was gluten free to begin with, except their self made bread which was substituted with a gluten free option. One of the cheaper menu prices (59€ for 5 courses) compared to similar restaurants in the city. The wines served by glass were pretty good, but not my personal favorites. The price was comparable to others in the city. No predefined wine package to go with the menu, but recommendations by the staff. Would definitely visit again for the food.

Cozy atmosphere and interior. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Allergies were accommodated and good selection of different and innovative dishes. Not your average wines, but really nice one’s. Also special spirit available when asked, from Georgia.

Great place with a cozy atmosphere and every friendly people! Our waiter gave us a lot of help to find a very nice natural wine in addition to regular wine later. We had a set menu, and all of the dishes were very good and also looked very nice. A place worth going back to, if I’m every in Helsinki again!

Restaurant Goose Pastabar is a modern Italian eatery that offers a mix of traditional and innovative pasta dishes in a stylish setting. The restaurant is known for its fresh, handmade pasta and a small but delightful menu. Customers particularly rave about the Carbonara, which is considered the best in town. While it's advisable to make reservations due to its popularity, walk-ins can also be accommodated fairly quickly.
Love love love! So happy we found this place AND got a table. It was better than I hoped it would be. Eating here feels like eating in someone’s living room, in the best way possible. Interior is unique and consistent. The menu is small and good, as it should be. The service was additionally top - friendly, attentive and very helpful. The foccacia is a must for starters, but the vitello tonatto stole the show. All pastas were al dente and flavourful. We could not agree on one favourite. A good, but perhaps a little too expensive, wine list. Wish this restaurant was in my hometown. Hot tip for anyone living in or visiting Helsinki.
Eira H — Google review
Best dinner we've had on our trip so far. Food was very good. Atmosphere was charming. Service was outstanding - our server was so helpful with every request we made and he even gave us some tips on where to go next when we asked. Pasta was fresh and flavorful. We had the ragu and the pumpkin tortellini and would other both again. Even the bread was surprisingly delicious. Very small menu 4 or 5 appetizers and 4 or mains. And it seems there is always a line (no reservations) but even at 19:30 on a Friday night, we only waited about 20 minutes.
Lewis L — Google review
Lovely interior and quick, attentive service. We arrived at 9 PM and were reassured by the host that everyone in line would get a table, a nice touch since they don’t take reservations. The pastas were excellent, though portions a bit small, so starters are a good idea. The wine selection was great, and the server happily explained both the wines and the dishes. A cozy, well-run restaurant that I can warmly recommend!
Tintti S — Google review
Be prepared to que outside on weekends. It is however completely worth it! As a group of 3, we tried all the pastas on the menu and shared. Definitely recommend sharing plates and ordering multiple starters. The main courses are quite small, I recommend ordering 3 or 4 main courses for for two people or 4-5 main courses for 3 people. The best pastas according to our table was pepper cheese pasta and the artichoke pasta. However we all liked all of them. You might get surprised but the size of their beer, but don't worry they only costs 2.5€ each, so you can order multiple. The best thing on the menu was the mocktail, it is literally the best drink I've ever tried in my life, don't miss it, you can also order it as alcohol version. The service was genuinely friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was incredible!

Hidden gem in Helsinki. Decided to take a punt on this unassuming shop but the service was super friendly which made the experience the best. Sat at the bar and the vibe was 100%. Simple alternative approach to mainstream restaurants. Everything was perfect. Engage with the staff and try everything (we did). Will recommend to everyone. Visiting for 1 day from the UK. Recommend all the starters and must try the gnocchi.

Fine dining at his best! Go to these guys as soon as possible, before they become famous and gets very hard to get a table there. I have had an amazing giourme experience! Highly recommended!

Goose Pasta Bar is an absolute gem. The space is cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed, intimate meal. I started with a beautifully plated appetizer of burrata, asparagus, fresh bread, and a light vinaigrette. Every bite was fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. For the main course, the rabbit ragu was outstanding—rich, comforting, and cooked to perfection. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating a laid-back but thoughtful dining experience. Delicious food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming vibe—what more could you ask for?

Great experience eating here, queued for maybe 20 minutes on a Friday evening. Service was very attentive and warm. Jerusalem artichoke pasta was fantastic along with the salted bread, enough food for one person. Natural wine recommended by the waiter / som was a real banger and they catered for my pregnant wife with a non alcohol sparkling too. Real nice overall if you don't mind queueing

Restaurant Elm is a charming Mediterranean eatery located in a beautifully renovated wooden villa from the 1860s. The culinary team, with roots in Portugal and Catalonia, brings their cultural influences to the food, music, and ambiance for a relaxed dining experience. The restaurant features a delightful veranda-terrace perfect for outdoor dining on warm days. Housed in a restored 1800s building, it offers an all-day dining experience with options ranging from coffee and sweet treats to full Mediterranean meals.
We’ve been to Elm a few times and every time it was an amazing visit! The food is exceptional, the service is friendly and with a sense of humor. There are also unique wines from Macedonia and smoked olives I haven’t seen in Helsinki before. In the summertime the terrace is open and it’s facing a lovely garden with flowers. Must visit and highly recommended <3

It’s quite popular, so I’d recommend making a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is great with dim lighting. The appetizers came out quickly; the beef tartare was good, and the octopus was a hot dish, decent taste. For the main course, I had the braised beef in red wine, it was really tender, practically melting in your mouth, but there was too much fatty meat. The catch of the day was quite good. The fried beans that came with it had a unique twist, though they were a bit greasy. Overall, the service was excellent.

Favourite lunch from our trip to Helsinki. The food was stunning, we loved that we could combine lunch menu with the menu á la carte. The place is amazing, the enterior so tasteful and cozy. We had an amazing time and the staff was so friendly!!

Unfortunately I found this place very over priced and occasionally they hold events and we ended up sitting outside in the rain under an umbrella. I get the staff are busy and trying their best. But honestly for the food and price I didnt think it was worth it at all. It also took them a very long time to serve and serve food and the portion sizes were very small, hence it was very expensive for what they served. .

A nice casual restaurant set within an old house. Elm offers a good variety of options and everything we ordered tasted great. The staff were friendly and service was efficient.

Delicious food, lovely place and great service. We had lemon pasta and fish of the day and we enjoyed it very much. Also non alcoholic sangria and rhubarb sparkling were great! Thank You

The restaurant Elm is a charmingly bohemian spot next to the beautiful Kaivopuisto park. We sat outside on a summer evening and ordered the full menu, which includes shared starters such as creamy burrata, crispy and flavorful olives, and hummus with a pesto heart. The fish main course, pike perch, came in a nice tomato-based sauce with a bouillabaisse-style flavor. The saffron risotto with honey turnip and pistachio was very well prepared. The dessert, chocolate soft ice, was somewhat trivial although nicely cool. The very friendly and relaxed service fits well with the atmosphere.

Way Bakery is a local gem nestled in the Kallio neighborhood of Helsinki. This charming bakery, housed in a former dentist's surgery, offers an array of delectable treats and dishes. The menu features hearty breakfasts, flavorful lunches, and seasonal evening offerings paired with a selection of wines. The bakery takes pride in producing over 100 organic sourdough loaves during the weekends from its cozy kitchen space.
fresh bakery.. we had breakfast there we ordered one avocado toast with a hard boiled egg which took five minutes longer than usual. They informed us about that upon ordering also we had two plank croissants, one cappuccino one Americano and when granola whole food was good and excellent service they had cool water bottles with free refills all that for 35€ but it is way hot inside and very sunny outside

I enjoy a great Latte, I am a HUGE espresso lover. The presentation of pastries were very enticing. So we decided to try both sweet and savory, paired with lattes. The prices were moderate, but truthfully just a bit on the pricey side if I were to be totally honest. To balance the price you're paying; the quality of the food was excellent. The bakery is on the smaller side, and was very crowded when we arrived. We found a space near the window and awaited or food. The presentation and taste was divine, and the lattes were PERFECT. The only down side is that it can get very crowded and it is not a spacious vibe, like the beauty of Heritage Cafe, but it is it's own jewel of a quaint spot for a quick latte and top tier pastry.

Cute little cafe! A must-visit if you’re in Helsinki. Coffee was decent, beautiful minimalist interior, and the pastries are serve on a pottery plate. The hazelnut fig cake is delicious 😋 friendly barista too!
Thorston S — Google review
Cozy little place with breakfast options, baked goods and other desserts. Loved the interior. There are several seats inside and plenty more outside, with heaters to keep you warm. My only feedback is that I wished the pastry of the sausage roll was warmer and crispier. The roll was kind of cold and the pastry was soggy. Perhaps it's just a personal preference. I still enjoyed it despite that and would come back here to try other things in the future.

A cosy little bakery, also has outside heated seating. Not many places to sit. I especially liked their sausage roll Wifi is decent

Blondie in Helsinki is a stroke of genius, offering a variety of pizza flavors and the option to order by the slice or as a whole pie. The thin and flavorful crust, along with classic or experimental toppings, make for an excellent taste and texture. With reasonable prices and quick service, it's a great spot for lunch. Visitors praise its value and quality, comparing it favorably to international pizza hotspots like London and New York.
The pizzas were so flavorful. The nyc style slice concept is great. Sitting outside the atmosphere was cozy and summery. There was constantly a line to order.
S H — Google review
Cons - Below average pizza. Limited flavour selection (6 only). We tried 4 flavours, except for the mushroom one, all were so so. The toppings are almost non-existent. We decided not to order more 😭 Pros - Service is fast, ambiance is warm with good customer service and almost full house.
Marina J — Google review
Delicious pizza with a cool NYC concept where you can order by slices, and each slice is huge! I often only need two slices, which makes it an affordable meal of only 10-12€. I can definitely recommend their Blondie which is a basic cheese with chilly and garlic pizza, their Pepperonis with hot honey is simply heaven, and the Special which changes every week or so.
Lily — Google review
Tasty pizza at a fair price. While it may not be the best I’ve ever had, it definitely hits the spot—especially considering the value. The place is quite small, and when we arrived in the mid-afternoon, it was already packed, which speaks volumes about its popularity with the locals. They serve pizza by the slice, each one generously sized and priced around 5€–6€ depending on the type you order. Some varieties cost a bit more, but overall, I’d say it’s worth the money. There’s also some outdoor seating available.
Pat H — Google review
So cute atmosphere, very comfy. Even we have the pizza take away, we had nice feeling about that place.❤️‍🔥 and pizza.. soo good! We specially recommend the Mushroom one, because it has interesting taste not just a boring mushroom pizza. Will come here again. Recommended!🍕

It gets easily a little crowded, but avoid the rush hours with a little planning, and you'll be very well rewarded with what is easily one of the best pizzas in Finland. Don't forget to try the stracciatella cheese on top!
Mikko P — Google review
probably the best pizza in helsinki. we got blondie and pepporini and both of them was very good. The slices are really big so it is alright for their price. One slice was 5.5€. However the drinks and the wines are overexpensive I would say. Regardless a really nice place to eat in Kallio.

Amazing new york style pizza, very cozy place, friendly staff. We have tried the pepperoni, mushroom, blondie, the special and rossa, all amazing! although the prices have incresead around 0.5-1 euro per slice since the last menu upload online ( 6 months ago ). They don t accept reservation, so be ready to wait for some time as the place is almost full every hour they are open, but 100% worth the wait. !Keep in mind the place only accepts card only payment!

Good flavors and impeccable presentation! From the perfectly curated bread plate to the tantalizing charcuterie selection, every starter was a delight. Came here for Saturday lunch and it was surprisingly quiet. We ended up ordering way too much but everything was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is really pretty. I can imagine it being even more cozy and intimate in the evening. Would definitely come back!

Fantastic spot for brunch. Highly recommend and wish I had visited sooner. Will be back for dinner. Very well priced Charcuterie: Absolutely lovely. 100% order. Ordered the small portion and was enough for two. If you get the bread board as well it makes for a great pairing. Was fun to watch the meat be cut on the machine Sage linguine: Didn’t know what to expect but loved by the end of the dish. Suitable for nut allergy as they can remove the pine nuts from the top. Very summery and light. Gnocchi: Summery taste. Friend liked but thought the ratio of sauce to gnocchi wasn’t great. Needed more gnocchi. Shakahouka: Was the least popular dish at the table but the flavour was good. Eggs were fried on top rather than cooked in the tomato sauce which was different. Little spicy for those who don’t eat spice (so watch out!). Bread: Fantasic sourdough. Finland has questionable bread in my opinion but these guys have done it very well. Service: Very very friendly and attentive. Busy place when we arrived so recommend booking.

One of the best restaurants in Helsinki – and still a hidden gem! I’m genuinely surprised this place isn’t packed every night. We walked in without a reservation and were blown away by the whole experience. The food is not just seasonal and fresh – it’s full of talent, charisma, and a deep understanding of what makes something truly delicious. I was especially impressed by the salads. The Panzanella salad was so tasty I honestly wished they served it in an XXL size! I'm not always a fan of fish, but their fillet with yogurt-herb sauce and beans had the perfect flavor, texture, and a touch of Greek summer. The small churros made from fish were bursting with spice and taste. But what really made the evening unforgettable was the atmosphere – warm, welcoming, and relaxed – and the incredibly attentive staff. Nollita is a place I’ll keep coming back to, and one I hope stays just the way it is: quietly excellent.

We came here for an impromptu Thursday night dinner. I would highly recommend Nolita for an easygoing, delicious evening. The aesthetics and atmosphere are wonderful, much like at Elm, Nolita's sister. Most restaurants in Helsinki are somewhat bland or lifeless in that regard; here, you feel like you're transported somewhere. The food was very good, and in particular the starters were amazing. I think next time I'll just order starters because they were so delicious. That's not to say the mains weren't good - we enjoyed especially the gnocchi. One of the waiters (the dude) was perhaps trying to sell us extra a bit too hard, but the other one (the woman) was fantastic.

I have appreciated the warm welcoming and the location, BUT negative points I have found to be: 1.the place is way too tight (I was basically glued to the fridge and to other people) 2.the entrance door stayed opened all the time with people waiting to enter and it was very cold inside while eating 3.THE FOOD was nothing special in my opinion (see burnt cake and basic salad with potatoes) 4.why isn't implemented a way to book online your seat??? P.s: to answer to the owner's reply which I have appreciated, the food costs 23€/person in your "canteen" not 15€ btw😊have a great Easter too

A tiny gem restaurant with sophisticated, carefully prepared lunches. I have had lunch here at least 10 times. It has a daily changing menu with ingredients that are always fresh, and flavorsome, delightful dishes that have a touch of gourmet. Dont skip dessert. Follow their instagram to see what’s on the menu for the day. Beware that they take no reservations for lunch and no cash. Cafe Regatta, a charming and quaint spot in Helsinki, is a small wooden cabin originally used as a fishing hut. It has become an Instagram hotspot due to its picturesque setting by the Baltic Sea. The cafe's interior is filled with various memorabilia and curiosities, creating a cozy atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy tasty sandwiches, cinnamon buns, or tea while taking in the ocean view from the outdoor seating area.
Beware of the birds if you eat outside, but still absolutely worth the visit. The food, especially the cinnamon buns were fantastic! A cozy great place to grab a bite to eat as you stroll along the waterfront.
K K — Google review
Café Regatta is a charming lakeside café located in a picturesque red cottage by the water. It's a bit of a scenic trip from the city center, but the peaceful ambiance makes it a relaxing destination. The café offers a cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying a coffee and pastry while taking in the lakeside views. The cinnamon roll, though not as moist as expected, had a delightful cardamom fragrance that added a unique touch. The coffee, however, had a slight off taste, possibly due to the water used, which gave it a somewhat plasticky flavor. While the food and drink may not be exceptional, the tranquil setting and rustic charm of the cottage make Café Regatta a pleasant spot to unwind. It's a nice place to visit if you're in the area, but perhaps not worth a special trip solely for the refreshments.
SY — Google review
it was such a romantic little spot surrounded by beautiful nature and lake views. We had a blueberry pie, a cinnamon bun, and a butter bun. all were freshly baked and absolutely delicious. The buns have a strong cardamom flavor, which will be amazing for cardamom lovers like me. but might feel a bit intense if you’re not used to it. As my husband said, after having a cardamom-rich bun, even the coffee started to taste a bit like scorched reindeer 🤣 in a funny, unexpected way! We walked here from Helsinki city center about 40 minutes on mostly flat paths, and it was a pleasant, scenic walk. The café has a rustic, homey atmosphere with outdoor seating right by the water. Perfect place to relax, chat, and soak in the Finnish charm. Highly recommend stopping by!

Beautiful cozy romantic coffee spot behind Sibelius Park! We got here by mistake because we were visiting Sibelius Park. After we dis all the touristy stuff there, a walk along the a lake called our attention and we walked over there. Then we saw this cute little cabana. We didn’t try any of the food (which looked amazing) because we had already eaten but we had a tea and spent a lovely time here. I am surprised I didn’t read about this place but it is something you should consider to stop by when visiting Helsinki.

Helsinki: --- Cafe Regatta is a charming little spot with an absolutely beautiful view of the water — definitely the highlight of the visit. The café itself has a cozy, rustic feel, which adds to its character. The coffee and snacks are decent, though nothing too special. It’s a nice place to stop by and enjoy the surroundings, especially on a sunny day, but it’s more about the atmosphere and location than the food itself.

We had an amazing night at Baskeri & Basso. The server recommended the 2-1-1 prix fixe dinner and it was spectacular. The dining experience was so exciting. From the wine to seeing the action in the kitchen. Seeing other tables enjoy their meals was also great. The corn was very tasty and the tagliatelle they had our night was delicious. Having two-time experience downstairs at Basbas Kulma, it was difficult to manage my expectation, especially I had to stay late after 00:00 to make the reservation for a newly available day on the calendar. Maybe I have missed something, but I cannot tell the concept difference between the two restaurants. Well the vibe downstairs was more lively. The food I ordered was just average this time, the grilled seabass was tasty, but the starter whitefish was too sour and the risotto too salty. I will still be a fan of Basbas:)
Fei — Google review
Aug. 12/25: 3.5 Stars, food missed the mark as it just wasn’t up to par compared to BasBas Kulma (we ate here three days ago). The scallops were unfortunately bland, the daily fish, in this case Pike was overpowered by the tomato, so with this it simply wasn’t a meal that will remembered fondly. Maybe our expectations were too high. The service was terrific!!

Went here a few weeks ago - amazing all around! Food was seasoned perfectly. And i like that some dishes leaned more fresh acidic & others more rich umami. Highlights for me was the pasta dish, the caesar salad, and the paris brest dessert. I really wanted to like the tartar more but it could’ve been served colder with some crunchier element beyond the pickled daikon. Nonetheless, all were still tasty and the wines recommended are decent and good. Service was very nice and friendly too!

On our final night in Helsinki, we had the absolute pleasure of dining at Yes Yes Yes, and it turned out to be one of the best vegan meals we've ever had, possibly the best of our lives. We chose the 4-course prix fixe menu with wine pairings, and every dish was a standout. Creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor, a true celebration of what plant-based dining can be. The wine pairings elevated each course and felt expertly chosen. The service was impeccable, the staff warm and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere lively and stylish without being pretentious. We also loved the setting, perfect for people watching and soaking in the local vibe. If you're in Helsinki, vegan or not, Yes Yes Yes is a must. We happened to turn up at Yes Yes Yes on a Sunday and mothers day – so lots of things closed and busy. They were full but squeezed us in. They were running a set menu of small plates. Outstanding! Everything was great – we particularly liked the fried gnocci and the risotto. The tofu sticks were delicate with a great dip/sauce. Lovely wine. Service was particularly attentive and very upbeat. Definitely one to go back to.

Had dinner here a couple months ago with my friends (a party of four) and I have to say that I hugely recommend! We had two starters to share, four main courses and two desserts. The food itself was above average good, but for example the bread-dip ratio in the tandoori bread thingy was a little off. My friend said her risotto was amazing and I especially loved the sourness of the rhubarb sauce with my asparagus. Plus point for the dishes that change seasonally to honour the ingredients that are currently at their best! The service could only be received in English but that didn’t bother us, on the contrary! The staff were friendly and polite and eager to recommend dishes and explain the differences between menus. The atmosphere was pleasant too. Definitely worth another visit! <3

Nice place with healthy food and big portions. Friendly vibe, fast service, and clear allergy info on the menu. Prices are reasonable. I'm happy and satisfied :)

visited at 09:50 on tuesday morning. i ordered the breakfast combo (“COMBO OF THE WEEK”). i’m new to helsinki (traveling), so i’m gonna write detailed process here for others like me. you order at the front, the smoothie bowl and a shot of ginger juice(?) are served on the black and white marimekko-esque plate right away. the combo comes with an avocado toast, and i added a poached egg. it’s served to you to your seat. the coffee, cutlery, and napkins are self service at the station on the left side. the smoothie bowl was good. it was mostly banana from what i could tell, but the homepage it listed last. (the smoothie is “HILBERT THE HIPPIE” and it’s “Sea buckthorn, mango, banana”) the avocado toast was crunchy on the outer edge and soft/mushy on the center. i guess probably avocado was sitting on the toast for a while. i assume it’s to make the making process fast and efficient in the kitchen, but it might have had better texture if it was prepared when it’s ordered. that’s the reason i knocked one star off. the egg was poached just right to my taste. the atmosphere was pleasant, the seats were only sparsely occupied because the lunch hour(11-14) had not started yet. i could take a peek at a lovely and majestic dalmatian, because people can bring their pets inside.

Came for a brunch date with my grandma and we were pleased with the experience! Food was really good, and I have to highlight the way the dishes and plates were all beautifully color coded. The staff were friendly and the Fredrikintori terrace was as lovely as ever. The tables were quite dirty when we came, but they did tidy them up soon enough. The only little minus I have comes from the coffee, since I had to explain what a cortado was, and they did not have a professional espresso machine. However, would definitely visit again!

Great find in Helsinki if you're a vegetarian or just want to eat more vegetables and healthy meals (they also offer chicken for example). Very good prices as well (15 euro for a meal).

In August 2025, I visited 5 countries alongside my vegan friend, and we found some incredible spots! Even though I’m not vegan, I keep an open mind. We stumbled upon this place, which happened to be vegan. I had the Thai dish, which was tasty!

I was a bit worried about finding good vegetarian food in Finland, but so far Helsinki does not disappoint. The Buddha bowl with a side of halloumi was by far one of the best bowls I’ve had, period!

The coffees are made in a Bean-to-cup machine and charged at €4.50/coffee. The porridge was inedible and tasted like gruel despite being dressed up with fun bits. That being said, the staff are very friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Mei Lin Sichuan & Vegetarian Restaurant is a hidden gem for those seeking authentic Sichuanese cuisine. With a cozy atmosphere that accommodates around 20 guests, it provides an intimate dining experience perfect for food lovers. The menu features delightful dishes such as dumplings in chili oil, spicy pork intestine noodles, and crispy duck served with pancakes.
Mei Lin offers a true taste of Sichuan cuisine right in Finland, with a menu full of bold, spicy, and aromatic dishes. The restaurant has a cozy yet modern ambiance, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and small gatherings. 🤜 Highly recommend Eggplant in Garlic Sauce for Vegans 🙌👍👍👍

Mei Lin Sichuan in Helsinki is unassuming—plain decor, calm atmosphere, soft ethnic music—but the food speaks loud. I’m no expert in Sichuan cuisine, but the flavors here hit just right. A touch of heat, deep umami, and generous portions make it a solid lunch spot. The eggplant and tofu Sichuan style? A must. No pretense, just damn good food.
Mikhael — Google review
Delicious food and generous portions! We tried several dishes: udon noodles, Sichuan-style eggplant and tofu, mapo tofu, and sweet-and-sour chicken, and every one of them was very tasty. Totally recomended.

Located in a nice neighbourhood area. Pretty close to city centre. Walking distance from stockmann mall. We ordered a few dishes and all turned out to be disappointing. Just dont taste authentic chinese sichuan style. The pork they use for thr dish i ordered is the wrong part of the pork. And taste is off too. So not recommend if you like authentic Sichuan flavour.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Helsinki. Pork dumplings were soft and good. Sweet and sour chicken with rice is tasty. Will visit again !
Chiu Y — Google review
Went here for dinner on a weekday without reservation and we were able to get a table right away. The taste was a proper Sichuan flavor and a good level of asian spiciness. We ordered the chicken chili congqing style, dumpling with chili oil and bakchoy with garlic. Dumplings and bakchoy were delicious!! The chicken however, it was a bit difficult to eat it as there were small pieces of bones everywhere. The flavor was good and tasty, but in the end we didn’t enjoy the chicken as much due to the small bones. The restaurant itself was pretty standard looking, nothing too fancy, leaning towards simple decor but it was totally fine. The service was good, the staff were friendly too.

The Italian restaurant Restaurant Locanda Scappi serves some of the best Italian dishes in town, and the staff are very welcoming and hospitable. The decor is tastefully ornate and the prices are very reasonable. You'll definitely enjoy your meal here!
I had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and was very pleased with the food quality. The pasta was delicious, and the beef tartare was definitely my favorite dish. The drinks were just okay, but the excellent customer service made up for it. Overall, a great dining experience, and I would definitely return!

Enjoyed our dinner overall. A small mistake on the drink order and a rather long wait time to receive drinks but after that everything went well. We tried 5 different pastas, few starters and desserts. Food was good and as expected a bit better pasta than in your regular diner. Can still be improved to get closer to perfection but we left satisfied.

From beginning to end, the evening was a genuine pleasure. The setting strikes a fine balance between elegance and comfort, and the service was impeccable—attentive, discreet, and thoroughly professional. The food was faultless throughout, each dish prepared with care and presented with finesse. The standout was the tuna tartare, beautifully fresh and lifted by the subtle crunch of pistachios, which lent just the right touch of refinement. In all, a superb dining experience where every detail was considered. A restaurant to which I shall most certainly return !!

I've been to Locanda Scappi several times now and the food never disappoints. Especially their Cacio e Pepe ravioli with sage and butter sauce hits the spot. Personnel is very knowledgeable and friendly. Only slight improvement to be made is the appetizer/side prices - 17 euros for an appetizer and 9 euros for a side of essentially 8 pieces of potato is a bit over the top. Lovely food though!

Hills Dumplings is a popular Asian eatery that offers a wide variety of meat and vegetable dumplings, as well as bao buns and craft cocktails. The restaurant is known for its cozy atmosphere and modern decor. It caters to both vegan and vegetarian diners with its delectable handmade dumplings, while also offering options filled with pork or chicken. Customers praise the made-to-order dumplings, fried chicken, and cool vibes at this casual spot.
Love the food at Hills Dumplings. It is fresh, delicious and tasty. We always try to have a meal here when in town. Love their cocktails. The staff are friendly and professional and there is a great vibe. Recommend booking so you aren’t disappointed.

Surprisingly charming dumpling spot with great service Hill’s Dumplings really impressed us. From the outside you might not expect much, but inside it’s cozy, lively, and clearly popular — we were glad we booked ahead. We tried the pan-fried chicken dumplings, chicken satay dumplings, a pork bao bun, plus rice and salad on the side. Everything was delicious and exactly what you hope for from a place like this, in the best way possible. Portions were just right and the food came out quickly. Staff were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and stayed attentive without pushing tips or hovering. It can get a bit busy and tables are close together, so expect a lively, medium-noise vibe rather than a quiet dinner. Overall, great food, amazing service, and definitely worth a visit.

Very comfy and nicely lit place with some excellent choices. Dumplings are crispy, well seasoned and the new style ones have excellent toppings on them. I'd skip the bao unless you want just dough, but I would definitely try the coconit tofu. Mocktails were nothing to write home about, but were not super expensive either. For the money (not the cheapest place) you get good offerings!

We booked hills for a large bachelorette party. We had different eating restrictions and allergies that we asked to be catered for, and hills delivered above and beyond! They were incredibly attentive, supportive and great hosts! I can not recommend them enough! Thank you so much to the whole team that helped make the night amazing for the bride and the group!
T B — Google review
My wife and I specifically targeted Hills Dumplings based on some recommendations and were wildly impressed! With a sort of fresh-ish take on a traditional dumpling house, the shop is nestled just a short flight of stairs off the street. Pop by the counter and place an order during lunch- we swung by around 1300 on a Thursday afternoon and while the place had several groups, there was no wait for a table. I highly recommend their dumpling lunch combination; my wife and I tried all 3 varieties of theirs and were surprised to find it hard to pick a single favourite- the satay was particularly interesting if you're down to try something new; but I'm a traditionalist and loved their good 'ole fashioned pan fried dumplings. Their pork bao is great too! For the price this is one of the more impressive little hidden gems of wildly high quality food and quick service you can find on a trip through the city. The first round of dumplings was more than sufficient but we found ourselves ordering another lunch order to share just because we were THAT impressed and wanted to try everything! Can't recommend it enough if you're in the area (or even if you're not- worth a trip out of your way for a great lunch).

Hungry before the show I b-lined to here. Unfortunately as I approached a lot of other people seemed to have the same idea. Which is a good sign if the locals eat here but I backed out of the stairwell feeling overwhelmed. Bracing myself I re entered and in all fairness was rapidly seen to and miraculously a table found for me. I was sat to the right side where it was actually pretty chilled and cosy. As you can imagine they mostly serve dumplings here. I chose the duck gyoza style in satay and the fish curry dumplings. To drink I had this tasty cocktail of sorts which tasted nice and strong. I am not exaggerating when I say these are some of the best dumplings I've ever consumed. They were the perfect texture, flavour and just wow. The service was very attentive and approachable. Would highly recommend and perhaps book to be on the safe side.

Great dumpling spot for sitting outside on patio. The dumplings come served up your way steam, fried, or brothed. Very tasty. We had the chicken steamed. Also got the pork bao buns. Very large in side and good flavor, but a little to dense and to much dough for my liking. Beer was delicious but hard to mess up.

What can i say! Amazing food! The burger was so tasty, perfect smash and balance of flavours. The fries were really good and the loaded ones even better! The chicken was super crispy. All the food arrived quickly and really hot. Fries all arrived crispy! Top marks!

Burger is excellent. Patty is juicy, lettuce is fresh and crunchy, and bun is soft and not dry at all. And fries with the cilantro and bacon, sauce is a winner. We decided to try out burgers in Helsinki since we saw there were a number of burger joints, there must be some kind of burger culture. Not disappointed at all.

My wife was a little hungry and we decided to have a burger as we were just passing by a Burger King. I saw an other Birger Shop just beside BB. So we went there as BB you can have every where! And what we got was just absolutely perfect. Stylish Burger and fries - better than homemade 🫶

I was excited to try this place after reading reviews that it was considered the best in Helsinki. Unfortunately the burger was over cooked and the fries were very salty. I couldn’t even eat them all. The staff was however very welcoming and pleasant. The Restaurant was also very clean and comfortable.

If you want a real, high quality burger then this is the place to go. I had a classic patty instead of the smash one and it was perfectly fried medium. I’ve tried many places in Finland and places with burgers of this quality are few and far between. In addition to the juicy patty, there were distinct tastes in the burger that had clearly been thought out instead of just filling the burger with random ingredients.

Social Burgerjoint! 😋 One of the best burger joints in Finland 😋 This time I ordered their seasonal burger, Woodhaven with Animal Fries. I have to admit that the roasted Portobello mushroom worked perfectly with this burger, because it brought a delicious presentation of umami to the burger 🤤 Social Burgerjoint never fails. Highly recommended! 😋

Wow! Nice burgers, 90s Chilipeppers tracks playing in the background... Can it get any better? Well, actually it can get but just a bit, and Social Burgerjoint takes you pretty far! Most important, burgers are good here - perfect medium cooked, nice ingredients, good bread. Clearly one of the better burgers in Helsinki, but still there is some potential in the beef, Friends & Brgrs did it. Fries are good here, with several options available. Beers menu have some interesting options, like their own "No Forks", but best one on the menu is Day Time IPA. Staff is nice and when I visited it was very clean and nice.

Tuk Tuk is a small and cozy restaurant with a great chef, offering authentic Thai cuisine. The papaya salad and main courses are highly recommended, with the option to adjust spiciness levels. Despite being small, the service is friendly and efficient. The food is described as delicious and true to its Thai origins, although it's noted that the spiciness may be stronger than Finnish standards. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and reasonable pricing.
I took Pad Thai with chicken and the portion was huge and it was probably the best Pad Thai I’ve had so far. The waitress was very friendly as well.
Do_Mii — Google review
One of the better Thai places in Helsinki. Their lunch is cheap (12.9€) with really good options most of the time. A la carte is also cheaper compared to other Thai places, super delicious as well! The only minus is the size of the restaurant, only a few seats so can get packed quickly. The ventilation is not the best so you may walk out with heavy food smell on your clothes. Highly recommend regardless!!
Ly H — Google review
Friendly owner and food is ok. Feels like the food is the same dishes all the time. Would be nice is some new options. Also flavors feel a bit safe. Could be stronger flavors. As per size the restaurant is rather small and can be easily full in busy time.

We had a dinner in this small authentic feeling Thai restaurant. The food was delicious and tasted like in Thailand. Be careful with the amount of chili for it is not Finnish standard but Thailand's. Thus one chili mark is strong and two is very strong. I have never dared to take three chili marks portion. The service if most friendly and meal is quickly served. Pricing is reasonable. It is a very small restaurant, only few tables so consider take away if full. This was not the first time there and definitely not the last.

Small and somewhat cozy restaurant, with a great chef! Food is the thing here. From starters it's already great, especially papaya salad surprised us, but main courses were good level too and everything felt authentic thai. They also adjusted spiciness level - we asked for very spicy and they delivered. Waiting time was also Ok, but visit was after the main dinner time in Helsinki. This place’s baristas creates the best looking coffees I have experienced so far. It’s foamy, doesn’t get extremely hot and heated (you can drink right away without burning your throat) and the taste is well balanced, but packs with coffees aromatics and flavours. When I ordered Spicy Mocha, it’s actually spicy 🥵🌶️😋 A place worth visiting for Instagrammable, cozy and proper café experience 🌟

A cozy-meets-industrial basement café with a comfy interior and a window for street orders. Their beans hail from carefully sourced origins, roasted on-site, and baristas handle everything from V60 to Syphon with care.” Locals call it their go-to, micro-roasters and Reddit’s Helsinki coffee guide even names it their personal #1, praising the baristas as among “the best in the city” . If you want coffee that’s both art and craft, served with integrity and just the right level of “I know my beans”, this basement roast temple is worth the pilgrimage.

1 | A roastery café right next to the Telakakatu tram stop. The oat flat white I had was good. 2 | They use beans from their own roastery. What’s in the grinder is written on a board above the counter. During our visit, they had Ethiopia and Kenya, and guests could choose. 3 | For some reason, I didn’t really like the vibe of the café. It wasn’t very cozy — maybe because of the size of the space, the loud music, the lighting, or how the chairs were arranged. Either way, I didn’t feel completely comfortable sitting there. I thought about taking off a star for that, but the staff were kind and made up for it. 4 | The café sells a wide variety of their roasted beans. They even have a takeaway window, so you can pretty much grab a coffee straight from the tram. 5 | To go with the coffee, they offer both sweet and savory pastries.

Le Ankka is a charming restaurant in Helsinki that offers a well-curated menu in a cozy setting, making it perfect for a romantic date night. The food, while generally enjoyable, could benefit from more acidity to balance the fatty duck dish. The mushroom risotto stands out as an excellent choice, and other options like fish soup and wagyu beef are also tasty. The desserts complement the menu well.

Le Ankke in Helsinki serves amazing food that mixes French and Finnish flavors perfectly. Every dish on the menu was really tasty, and the wine pairings matched well in most cases. But overall, it's a great spot for a unique dining experience in Helsinki!

Really delightful experience in nice atmosphere. Creative menu and dishes were nicely prepared, showcasing different styles and flavors. Intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Freshly made bread was nice touch. Friendly staff kept the evening moving along smoothly.. Allergies and gluten free options were accommodated.

We enjoyed the food with my wife, duck would have benefited from having a bit more acidity on the side (the beetroot and mustard seeds didn’t quite make it) because of the duck being so fatty. Mushroom risotto was the queen of the show, it was excellent and the fish soup and wagyu beef were tasty too. Desserts complimented the menu well. The place is nice though small, it was a bit too tight for our preference but still manageable. Jackets were just stuffed on one wall, perhaps a bit more space would help but this didn’t bother us more than one star’s worth. Keep up the good work guys! :)

A beautiful restaurant offering very authentic Chinese noodle dishes. We like the decor and atmosphere. The owner, Mr Huang, made efforts to meet our needs, have our dinners there a couple of times while staying in Helsinki, two thumbs up 👍

We walked into this restaurant hoping we'd have a good warm soup/stew on a cold day. All I can say is that it was the best decision we made. The food was extraordinarily tasty. The menu is quite short but there's enough variety as all main dishes can be ordered with a different sources of protein (beef, shrimp, chicken, tofu, pork). Some dishes also come in 3 different spice levels. We had the 2/3 spiciness level and it was more than enough. The restaurant is rather small but the service is really quick. Our waiters were really friendly. Water in a jug was on the house.

Review based on one visit. Absolutely amazing place! The food at Noodle Master is delicious, fresh, and served super fast. The portions are generous, so you definitely leave full and satisfied. Prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. The staff is genuinely kind and caring. You really feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. One of the best casual dining spots in Helsinki. Highly recommended!

We were looking for spicy soup noodles for our dinner n we found it at this restaurant, Noodle Master. We ordered 2 Dan Dan Noodle soup with pork n the food did not disappoint. The bowls of noodles came out hot, spicy and the noodles were Al dente. Very authentic noodle soups with extra spicy level too. We can take heat but they really give a spice level of 3 , equivalent to 9 out of 10 level ( ghost peppers like spicy level 🥵) . If you can’t take the heat , just order the mild one. The service was fast n friendly. The space is not big but cozy. We were satisfied and would come again if we are in the neighborhood.

Great atmosphere, service and noodles 🍜 My dish was the braised beef noodle soup. The broth was flavourful, the noodles were soft yet not overcooked. I chose the rice noodles as a gluten free option. And the beef was soft as well as the proper beef type for the dish. My friends had the DanDan dish with pork with the regular egg noodles. Which was also very tasty and rich. We orderd various side dishes and my faves were the cucumber with chilli oil, and the black fungus. The ambience of the Restaurant is inviting, colorful. With mural paintings in the walls and interesting decor details. It has become now one of my favourite places to go to for a delicious noodle soup meal.

Kind staff that served up authentic and delicious beef tripe and beef noodles!! Loved the extra touch of free salad, fruit, tea and coffee. Can't wait to come back 🥹

My colleagues and I decided to stop by Noodle Master the first day we arrived to Helsinki and I have to say the noodle was soooo good that it totally blown us away!! I got the pork dan dan noodle and it’s super delicious and authentic. I went back again and got another pork dan dan noodle fix before departing Helsinki the next day. I wish I will have a chance to eat at Noodle Master again!

Restaurant Story is a popular bistro located in the Old Market Hall near the South Harbour in Helsinki. It offers a variety of tasty and affordable meals, including snacks, breakfast, brunch, and lunch with options for both meat lovers and vegans. The restaurant has expanded to other branches across the city that also serve dinner. With a rich history of over one hundred years, this Nordic cafe-restaurant provides a unique setting for enjoying its renowned salmon soup.
Tasty desserts and wonderful filter coffee with free refills. I have had some coffee in Helsinki which was twice the price of this one and not as good. So definitely recommend stopping by. Plenty of open plan seating. So easy to visit with children.

What a disappointment! Breakfast eggs Benedict is one small bread with two eggs and two slices of bacon with dressing. This delicacy is 14 EUR! This doesn't include juice, coffee or anything else. Total robbery!

Restaurant Story in Helsinki's Old Market delivers a fantastic take on traditional salmon soup—rich, hearty, and served in generous portions with free bread refills. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the setting is both cozy and lively. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere—what’s not to like?
Karen G — Google review
I came specifically for the salmon soup, and it turned out to be one of the best I had during my visit to Helsinki. It was fresh, simple, and had a light creamy texture that I really enjoyed. The place is located inside the market, which made it quite warm with limited airflow — not the most comfortable setting during summer. However, the tables were clean, and the service was friendly and efficient.

We went for lunch as a recommendation from our guide, we took the salamon soup and the grilled reindeer. First of all the portion size was big. The salamon soup was very delicious as well as the grilled reindeer will definitely go back again

Excellent customer service, super tasty salmon soup. I warmly recommend this place. Especially because nobody came to complain when I sat down with all our shopping bags while my husband dealt with the order. The dill oil is a nice addition to the salmon soup! Very democratic prices also.

Creamy salmon soup was good. Not sure if the best 😅 as it was my first one during the trip. Cost 16,9€
Paul — Google review
Fish soup is quite watery, tables needs cleaning more often, coffee is quite bad (sweet even without sugar). Not sure it's good value for money compared to, say, Restaurant Fisken på Disken in Kamppi. The place is a bit over-hyped.

Great food sourced locally close and far. Professional and friendly service. Food is tasty with nice varieties of different interested mixes of flavors. Knowledgeable staff will guide you through the service with wine pairings of your food. Allergies and dietary restrictions are accommodated.

An intimate and atmospheric place in a beautiful building in a great location. I had an excellent pressed lamb with seasonal vegetables. A very balanced dish. In my companion's dish, the pike perch had been replaced by whitefish, but it was a fantastic dish. The fish, braised in browned butter, was heavenly. The wine recommendation was also spot on. The dessert of creme brule with strawberry-black pepper sorbet was also a positive surprise. The fresh sorbet made the portion well balanced.

We truly enjoyed our visit! Selected appetizers, main courses and desserts from the list to taste different kinds. Would recommend choosing similar amount as in the 5 course menu. Fantastic service, cozy atmosphere and great wine suggestions. Would visit again!

Absolutely delicious salmon tartar and regular tartar. Their fries were perfection, my favorite fries I’ve had in ages in Helsinki. Their wine selection was really good and tip: ask the waiter if they have any good/interesting wine bottle open that is not on the menu. You might very well be lucky! Overall love this place: food is amazing, service is outstanding and nothing beats sitting outside on Bulevardi on a summer evening.
Sofia H — Google review
The food and wine pairing were well prepared, but the overall atmosphere felt noisy and casual rather than fine dining. I had left a note in my reservation about tartar, but it was not addressed and the first course was tartar without any check from the staff. This left me with the feeling that attention to detail in service could be improved. Compared to other Michelin-mentioned restaurants in Helsinki, the experience felt less polished, especially in terms of atmosphere and service. Overall, good food but feels more like a casual restaurant than fine dining.
Alexander V — Google review
Tasty, elegant, very french food. Excellent experience. Dessert, chocolate/sorbet was a superb ending.
Esa A — Google review
We have never experienced such poor service compared to similar restaurants in Helsinki. Here’s a summary of our experience: (1) We ordered the 5-course menu, but only received four courses when it came time for dessert, the waitress validated with the kitchen and informed us, “I have no idea why we didn’t serve you the starter.” (2) The wine was poured while I was in the restroom, with no opportunity to taste or see the bottle. I had to specifically ask about which wine was served. (3) Since we only received four out of five courses, the restaurant offered a 20% discount. However, I had also opted out of the cheese plate, meaning I effectively only received a 3-course meal. Despite this, the discount was applied to the full 5-course menu price. (4) My friend and I paid separately, but despite ordering different wines and courses (he had four courses while I had three), the waitress simply split the bill evenly between us. This was not only inaccurate but also frustrating. While the food was refined, the service was neither attentive nor respectful.
H Z — Google review
Very big disappointment. Have never seen this level place with THIS horrible service. Makes me feel that you could just buy a place in Michelin guide. The menus were never explained, not a word about the courses. We ordered olives, that were not brought. When we ask the waiter (makes me think it was a shift manager or such, as other waitresses were asking him for advice, a tall guy with glasses) about our olives his reaction was -A!! No apologies or anything. (Later on, they did not include the olives in the check, let’s say it was a sign of apology…….) I had white fish crudo for the starter, which had lots of sauce and a spoon was supposed to be brought with it. (The other waitress brought the same dish for the other table with the spoon at the very beginning and the guests did not have to ask for it separately). When my wife finished her starter and I was still eating, the same guy just took away her plate without asking e.g. if she enjoyed the food or anything. That was just gross violation of service rules . Makes me feel the guy never worked in a restaurant before and does not even know the basics. As to the food, it was ok, nothing special. Presentation was average, as well as the taste. Though, I was amazed with the wines- there were brilliant. Overall, it is not worth it. I’m so shocked how place with this kind of service could be in Michelin guide Would not recommend.

Restaurant BasBas Kulma, a cozy and rustic eatery located in Helsinki, is the younger sibling of the acclaimed Baskeri & Basso Bistro. Opened in 2015, it offers a more accessible dining experience compared to its elusive predecessor. The restaurant features a bar counter where walk-ins can order small plates and choose from a selection of wines by the glass.
Amazing food and outstanding service. It was the first time and for sure we will come back many times. We arrived a little earlier to our reservation and from the beginning, all the staff made us feel special. Exquisite attention: funny and pendant of our needs. Great selections of wines (next time we will try the cocktails). But food... wow! Sooo clean flavors... I really enjoyed. The wine recommendation was excellent and even that we all had different starters, main and side dishes, matching was perfect. I only have good words for the whole experience

Traveled from the US to visit friends, place was recommended. I was not disappointed. Awesome place for food and drinks great staff. Super friendly cosy environment, food was amazing. From the fish and pork, down to the corn. Chefs kiss! Will definitely come back when I'm helsinki next.

Everything about this restaurant is great. The atmosphere is great as we managed to book a somewhat private table for our group. The service was great as well. As for the food. Our meal is shared dishes, which means we share the food instead of individual portions. And everything was great. The beef tartare and the steak were great. Cooked perfectly. Their salad and homemade bread is another level as well. The potato was also great. Their desert wine was tasty. And the desert itself was also great. It didn't look like an appetite but one bite is enough to change your mind. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend this restaurant if you have the chance.

4.49* 😉 Likeable bistro with decent quality plates and great service. The wines by the glass are ok, but I'd love some premium offers, although most glasses are already a sobering €12.50+. The plates we tried were good, though the flavour profiles didn't lift them to 5*. The team was amazing. Really good. Overall, it is a worthwhile stop, but short of a must do destination.

Boneless Ullanlinna is a must-visit destination for food lovers, especially those who crave delicious boneless wings and mouthwatering burgers. This fast-food chain, with multiple locations in Helsinki, has gained a reputation for its standout offerings. The highlight here is undoubtedly their boneless fried chicken and smash burgers that have locals raving about their flavor.
The Cali Chicken Burger was really good, the bread was soft and the chicken was well cooked with nice sauce. One of the best fries I've had, they're crisp outside and soft inside, perfect! Asian BBQ Wings tasted sweeter but the jalapeno sauce and the pepper added the spice. Definitely will return to try other burgers from the menu.

Best burger I tasted in Helsinki. The smash burger was tasty, and the chicken burger was juicy and full of taste. The cheese fries was perfect, really crispy and cheesy. The place was a little too chilling, so had to eat with a jacket, and it took some time to get to order, since the employee was in the back most of the time
Tobias J — Google review
Cali smash was great. The fries was even better! Crispy on the outside, and still crispy even after leaving it out for some time. Burgers were juicy and had this crispy bits at the side. Well deserved 5 stars
Thomas N — Google review
The Burgers and Fries were excellent. I tried the Double Cheeseburger and the Asian BBQ Burger, also the fries. The fries are crispy and very tasty. Definitely recommend them. They also offer various sauces. The double cheeseburger is really cheesy. Do not expect a strong sauce, rather a strong and tasty, almost creamy cheese taste. The asian bbq burger was very good. The chicken was crunchy, juicy and tender. The sauce is very sweet and a bit spicy. The service was awesome and extremely customer friendly. Rarely had such a courteous service. Thank you. No reservation needed. Take away also possible!
AleOderSo — Google review
Delicious juicy burgers. It completely satisfied my burger craving. I ordered a Cali Smash burger with extra bacon and my partner ordered a Double cheese bacon burger. Both are absolutely are so delicious and juicy! The fries were crispy which is always great to have. The staff was kind helpful, and hardly working. The only reason I’m putting a four stars was because I was concerned seeing the two amazing staff were working overtime to provide food to everyone on a Saturday evening. The restaurant and kitchen were clearly understaffed. The sweet lady taking the orders was running between cooking in the kitchen and making sure she’s also at the cashier. This is in NO WAY me complaining about the two staff, they did a wonderful job. I just truly hope this was an exceptional situation and not usually understaffed like that.

Restaurant
Restaurant Teller, located in the heart of Helsinki, offers a delightful dining experience with its creatively crafted dishes and friendly service. The restaurant's stylish interior, set in a former bank hall, adds to its unique charm. While it may not fit the traditional fine dining mold, the food served here certainly meets high-end restaurant standards. Despite being fully booked most of the time, the ambiance remains pleasant and not overly noisy due to thoughtful decorations and installations.
Restaurant Teller – A Hidden Gem in Helsinki’s Bistro Scene Teller is one of those places where everything just clicks. The location is promising from the start – just a few minutes’ walk from Kamppi Shopping Centre, yet tucked away enough to feel like a discovery. Perched slightly above street level on the corner of a building, the restaurant features large windows that flood the space with natural light and offer a glimpse into the rhythm of the city outside. The interior is stylish yet relaxed – the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease. The open kitchen adds a warm, lively atmosphere, and it’s genuinely enjoyable to watch the chefs in action. It’s clear the food here is crafted with love and skill. Teller serves clever and beautifully executed bistro food that doesn’t try too hard – it simply delivers. The endive starter with roasted hazelnuts was a knockout: simple, but thoughtfully composed and bursting with flavor. The perch was cooked to perfection – delicate, flavorful, and memorable. Every dish reflects a respect for ingredients and a genuine passion for cooking. Teller isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a place you’ll want to return to, again and again. And I certainly will. Easily one of the top dining spots in Helsinki.
Mikko N — Google review
We reserved a table for birthday celebration several months in advance and came with high expectation, as Teller was ranked fourth in 2025 top 50 restaurants in Finland. The small bugs were quite annoying, as they were around all the time. The restuarant was quite busy but not fully booked. Tables are quite close to each other. We took the Teller menu, one with fish and one with steak. The waiter did not ask how we would like our steak to be, and we reminded him. We started with the champagne, not recommended. The starter was interesting, but the risotto was quite heavy and salty. The fish was well fried but the sauce was quite boring. In general I would say that it was average. We ordered THE BREAD, well, the pay did not bring anything outstanding. Well, still gave four stars to support local business.
Fei — Google review
After first time visiting, Teller became one of my top restaurants in Helsinki. The food was simply delicious, everything from appetizers to main courses was just top notch. I especially enjoyed the brioche bread and the mushroom risotto. Also, the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout the whole evening. We got our meals quite fast even though the restaurant was starting to get packed for Friday night. Make a reservation to secure your table! As an additional plus they have a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks (mocktails, craft sodas etc.) to order with your food.
Saana M — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was spot on, and the whole menu felt really well thought out and balanced. We didn’t go for the full wine pairing, but the wines our server brought us were excellent. One thing that really stood out was Teller’s classic brioche – it was honestly heavenly. Definitely a must-try. The service was also fantastic – probably some of the best we’ve had in a restaurant. Our server was super friendly, knew their stuff, and made us feel really well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this place! :)

Divine food in the center of Helsinki! Playful choices of flavors in food, served aestethically. The staff was friendly, welcoming and even in a hurry, didnt emit a feeling of rush. The location is great and interior is nice and decent, however still a bit torn between whether this is a fine dining or just a generally hip place. No white tablecloths, but food served belongs in a high end restaurant. Definitely suggest trying it out. Remember to book your table, this place is packed!

There were quite a few flies in the restaurant, which made me feel uncomfortable. The appetizers were delicious, and the entrée was slightly salty. However, we had to wait over an hour for the main steak, and unfortunately, it was really chewy. 😞 I’m really disappointed.

I allowed myself to lay back and have a great solo dinner and the guys delivered. The food was amazing, the wine pairing perfect. The only thing that slightly annoyed me is that the menu they propose is just as expensive as the single dishes + wine (and I felt the portions were smaller), so what’s the point of that. Anyway, I had a great time, the place is beautiful and the sommelier has a cute dog so I forgave them.

With its blend of refined continental fare, a blissful selection of organic wines, and a disarmingly unpretentious vibe, Maukku is where bistro finesse and streetwise soul meet in culinary alchemy. Restaurant Aoi is a fantastic new addition to Helsinki's dining scene. The menu features fresh and innovative dishes that blend various culinary influences, promising a delightful dining experience. With a frequently changing menu, guests can look forward to exploring diverse offerings with each visit.
Frequently changing and simple four-course dinner menus. The menu lists a few key ingredients, but the format and the flavor profile is always a (pleasant) surprise. Invariably delicious and good value. For the constants, the brioche-like bread and the signature Finnish pancake are both amazing. No-nonsense and friendly service, great wine cabinet with good pairings, and for non-alc drinks they offer cold infusions that are also thoughtfully paired to the menu. You can always trust the staff's recommendations. The space has good acoustics - you hear the music and the conversations at a pleasant volume. Booking is very easy via the minimalist and well designed website. (Note: there's a good chance the menu will change between your reservation and the dinner!)

Exceptional food. The menu of the day with limited choices but exceptionally well delivered!!! Excellent wine selection. Relaxed but impeccable service. While we took only 2 courses, I would highly recommend the full menu which is well prices and the portions well sized. The venue is a bit dark and cramped ... the fantastic trio should look for another location that will fit their great cuisine better. I will certainly return. Highly recommended.

Babi B — Google review
I don’t think anyone expects to sit for 3 hours just to eat a 4-course menu. The kitchen is clearly having problems managing their time, and you could feel a certain restlessness in the dining room as nobody had anything to eat for long periods. Food was good, but nothing to write home about. It was quite weird to have the main dish served in a dessert plate with a very small fork, but I suppose that’s part of their “carefree” approach.

Incredible new restaurant. Really good value for money. Every dish was bursting with flavor and had something interesting happening. Dishes used limited number of ingredients but everything on the plate was carefully planned and tasted excellent. I really hope people will find this restaurant because it deserves to be a new star in Helsinki!

Excellent restaurant. Highly recommended especially people outside Finland to enjoy well made dishes from finnish nature. Staff was very friendly, only minus was that main dish and desert too quite long time to come

Cute small bistro with imaginative dishes offering great value. The atmosphere is laid back but you will not stand out even if you come a bit dressed up. Definitely would recommend making a reservation, as this looks to be quite popular.

The Grand Bar & Grill, led by Chef Sylvester Soisalo and the Boulevard team, is a temporary dining spot that offers a menu blending classic dishes with contemporary grilling techniques. The focus is on simplicity and quality, with an array of snacks, charcuterie, grilled Finnish beef, and various steak cuts cooked over fire. Visitors praise the perfectly cooked meat and friendly staff while recommending the chocolate ganache for dessert.
I came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! They have a great wine selection, the service was top notch, and the food was absolutely delightful from start to finish. I loved the tartar and the fresh oysters 🦪 both were spot on. And the dessert was the perfect way to wrap up our dinner. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

I somehow have mixed feelings about the atmosphere is great. Very warm, stylish and classy. The table was great, lighting added to the nice ambiance. The starters were all great and had some special touch to it such as the plums added to the Burrata (the burrata could’ve been a little more liquid inside). I especially liked the pulpo and the onion soup. Now on to the mains: both the t bone and the Prime Rib were a little too raw for my liking and a little too fatty and chewy as well. The sauces, however, were quite yummy again. All desserts were really nice and there was something for everyone with sweet and not as sweet options here. The cocktails were refreshing and tasty! Service was friendly and attentive but slow at times, especially between starters and main. All in all a mixed buck - but nice for a special evening.

Cozy and pleasant place, with absolutely amazing service (especially for Helsinki). Nice wine 🙂 The food didn’t impress me though, so I’d give it a 4 for the atmosphere, service, and good music. Recommend to visit with friends or family🙂

I had a very disappointing experience at The Grand Bar & Grill. My friends and I felt extremely uncomfortable with the service. The waitress displayed an irritated and almost condescending attitude simply because we asked a few questions about the menu. Since we are not very familiar with steaks, it was natural for us to want more information before ordering. Instead of being helpful, however, the waitress made unpleasant facial expressions and replied with rude remarks. When the food finally arrived, it helped us calm down and start to enjoy the meal and drinks. We wanted to continue enjoying our drinks and the evening, but unfortunately, the poor service spoiled the mood and made us ask for the bill earlier than we intended. To make matters worse, we only wanted to split the cost of the starters, but instead of clarifying, the waitress snapped back at us with “so what.” This was shocking, especially since we were celebrating our friend’s 50th birthday and wanted the evening to be special. Unfortunately, the service from this one woman in the green dress completely ruined the atmosphere. That said, the other staff members were lovely, the food was delicious, and the cake was excellent. It’s a real shame that one person’s attitude overshadowed what could have been a happy and memorable evening. Since I also work in the service industry, I can say this was truly a very poor example of service. There was no guidance, and her body language — pursed lips, rolling eyes — made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I tried to think that perhaps she was simply having a bad day, but unfortunately, she ended up making my friend’s 50th birthday an unpleasant memory as well.

I agree with some of the other reviews that the overall experience is a bit mixed. Steak was tender and cooked medium rare. The fries were super crispy and well seasoned, and the sauces really good. But the seats were a bit uncomfy and it gets quite noisy when the restaurant fills up. Service was good and attentive, but a bit too casual for my taste. All in all, had a wonderful time, but i expecting a bit more.

Unfortunately quite a disappointing experience. The red hair waitress was awful to my friends. She had a pissed attitude from the start. She was extremely rude and defensive to them. To the point that was speaking Finnish to Finnish customers and when my friend talked to her in Finnish she said: I don’t speak Finnish 😅 She was like angry to us(?) At first we thought maybe we are overthinking it? But didn’t get any better :/ We didn’t quite understand what caused this tbh (Hopefully it wasn’t a discrimination case but at points it did feel like that) Luckily we asked for a change of waiter and the other staff members were better. I feel sorry for the restaurant’s crew as they had to cover for their colleagues’ lack of service skills. They seemed swamped and a bit stressed with work. We gave feedback to the manager and he was very open to receive it, thanks for that! The food took an hour to arrive. The steak and fries were quite disappointing too. Super small portion and very average flavors for 29€. Hard beef to chew. The wine selection on the other hand was good! I wish I would have better things to say about the experience :( but I cannot stay silent for the mistreatment my friends got from this particular staff member. Hopefully the restaurant can do better in the future!

In a nutshell: nice place for drinks with friends and family. Service is amateurish (staff taking shots behind the bar, service limited to transporting dishes, slow, forgetting to charge items, etc.). Food is ok but nothing special. Stay away from the cheese plate. We visited the Grand on a Friday evening as part of a credit card promotion. The place had a nice cosy ambience where everyone seemed to be having a good time. For starters, we order the burrata cheese and a plate of cold cuts. The starters were nice and tasty, but we noticed the absence of bread on the table and the lack of description of the plate from the staff (I would have liked to know what sort of cold cuts they were). The service was fairly slow, and 1:20 into the dinner, we finally got the main dish. Again, I have no idea what the sauce served with the stake was as the service was limited to transporting the food from the kitchen to the table. No bother to ask how you want the meat, either. Nevertheless, the meat was cooked to perfection, and we enjoyed it. We ordered the cheese plate and a Spanish cheese cake for dessert. The cheese cake was deliciously creamy, but I highly recommend staying away from the cheeses. We got a brie and a blue cheese (of some sort, again, no info) that seemed to be beyond their ripening time ( the blue cheese was more yellow than blue and the brie was more brown than white), and so, were left almost intact on the table. This is not a matter of not liking mature or artisan cheeses, as we have eaten all sorts of artisan french cheeses before. Overall, it was an ok experience but likely not coming back. The owner should focus on training the staff to avoid issues such as drinking while working, failing to charge items, and slow and amateur service.

Grill house fine dining. Reservations recommended and the experience here is best enjoyed with some company and at a leisurely pace. STARTERS: It is popular to have starters here. Some guests were having two or three starters before mains. 🔸️ GRILLED BONE MARROW ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No greasy or raw taste. We were served with half of a thick marrow. It was soft and the jelly of the marrow was mild and fresh accented with herb & parmesan crust. The large slice of grilled bread was the best accompaniment; crunchy and flavourful on its own. 🔸️ CRUDO ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Firm cured slices of whitefish plated with tomato water, olive oil & jalapeño. Fresh taste of the sea with citrus notes. MAIN: 🔸️ 30 DAY DRY AGED CLUB STEAK. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ There is mastery in how this meat with bone was grilled but do not come expecting a Southern BBQ. The style of this grill is cleaner, milder and brings out the subtle flavors of the meat. Our steak was encrusted with a firm fatty outer with medium well meat within.  Each bite was tender and the meat was fragrant with the hints of wood fire and moist with meat juice. There was a little sinew here and there and the meat at the bone was harder but it was overall a good dish that can be enjoyed even when the meat had cooled. SAUCES: The meat is already enjoyable on its own with a little salt but we tried the house's popular recommendations. 🔸️ STILTON BEARNAISE ⭐⭐⭐ Mild and creamy and taste like steak with melted cheese sauce when eaten with the meat. 🔸️ SAUCE HEMINGWAY - Whiskey & peppercorn sauce ⭐⭐ The pepper and whisky have strong tastes on their own and overpower a delicate cut of steak. SIDES: 🔸️GREEN SALAD ⭐⭐ Fresh greens but too much salt. DESSERTS: 🔸️ CHOCOLATE JUBILEE + Tahitian Grand Cru vanilla ice cream ⭐⭐⭐⭐ On their own, these desserts were plain and less delightful but we decided to eat the dark chocolate ganache with the ice cream. Paired together, the coldness and plainer flavor of the vanilla ice cream exploded with the warmer more bittersweet taste of the chocolate ganache and they were a match made in heaven 😁. RESTAURANT Classic - casual, can accommodate large groups with most table settings suited to couples and smaller groups.

Hakaniemen Kauppahalli is a traditional 6-day food market located in Helsinki, Finland. It offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor stalls selling fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, cheese, and other local products. Visitors can experience the Finnish food culture by sampling smoked ham, reindeer meat, local cheeses, and Karelian pies. The market hall also features the Urban&Local concept to showcase small businesses.
Hakaniemi Halli is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Helsinki! My visit was an absolute delight, filled with amazing food, unique finds, and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. First, I indulged in a classic Finnish laskiaispulla—a soft, fluffy bun filled with whipped cream and almond paste, topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. Paired with a crispy and nutty pistachio baklava, it was a match made in heaven! To wash it down, I grabbed a bottle of Laitilan O.Pom, a refreshing and slightly tangy fruit soda that perfectly complemented my sweet treats. The fresh produce section was equally impressive! I picked up some organic vegetables in a charming eco-friendly bag, a testament to Hakaniemi Halli’s commitment to quality and sustainability. The selection was fantastic, with colorful, fresh greens and locally sourced goods. One of the highlights of my visit was discovering the Uusix shop, a treasure trove of handmade and upcycled Finnish crafts. I found a beautifully designed wooden spoon, elegantly wrapped, that showcases the craftsmanship and creativity of Finnish artisans. Overall, Hakaniemi Halli exceeded all expectations! The combination of delicious food, fresh produce, and unique handmade products makes it a must-visit spot in Helsinki. Whether you’re looking for a tasty treat, quality groceries, or a one-of-a-kind souvenir, this market hall has it all. I can’t wait to go back!

Warm, authentic Helsinki – loved it! Hakaniemi Market Hall is a truly authentic and welcoming spot in central Helsinki. Recently renovated, it strikes the perfect balance between local charm and light tourism, without feeling commercial. The ground floor is filled with beautifully presented food and craft stalls – fresh produce, fish, spices, coffee, design items. A cosy restaurant sits upstairs, but you’ll also find plenty of snacks and sweet treats scattered throughout. Warm atmosphere, friendly vendors, and a great place to enjoy a taste of everyday Helsinki with style.

Beautiful market hall that sells products ranging from fresh fruit and canned goods to handmade bags and leather products. It's conveniently split between two entire floors of a large building. There's also a small flower shop offering a great variety of plants and flowers. The first floor also has a cafe and several shops that sell freshly-made food. There's plenty of variety making it a good choice for people who are undecided. The top floor has various shops that sell handmade items, including soap bars, bags, and souvenirs.

If you wanna feel something about the traditional market hall atmosphere in Helsinki, you have to go to Hakaniemi. Compared to Old Market Hall close to Market Square, Market Hall in Hakaniemi has kept at least something of the old market hall culture. There are store which sell fresh vegetables, fish, meat... and handicrafts, souveniers etc.; and there are some small restaurants to eat and coffee shops to enjoy. Nice place to visit.

I visited this place on September 27, 2025. It's a really lovely open-air market, but I had a bad experience with this "TRADITIONAL ORIENTAL PASTRIES" shop. The man in the photo charged me €23.92 for just two pieces of baklava. Unfortunately, I was ripped off on my first day in Helsinki.

2 floors, groceries on ground, arts crafts and textiles on second floor. Some cafes with very short menus but reasonably priced. The building is clean and very pretty. Unless you are buying ingredients to cook not sure it's really worth the effort to go to this as it is very small and you will finish it in less then 30 minutes. There is probably 40 stands on each floor. It's nice but really not worth detouring for this.

Established in 1852, Ekberg 1852 is a historic cafe, bakery, and patisserie nestled in the heart of Helsinki. This family-run establishment has retained its traditional charm and is renowned for its unchanged menu featuring classic pastries and sandwiches. The cafe offers a grand ambiance reminiscent of Central Europe and provides a spacious outdoor seating area ideal for people-watching on Helsinki's Boulevard.
While walking around Helsinki’s city center, we stumbled into a lovely street lined with trees and a tram running through — a very pleasant area. We were looking for a lunch spot and noticed that many places in Helsinki offer lunch menus between 11 and 2. We ended up at this bistro, where for €14.5 we had an all-you-can-eat lunch that included healthy options like chicken, a variety of side dishes, fresh salads, and even guacamole. Coffee and water were also included in the price. The atmosphere inside was warm and inviting, with a charming old bistro feel. And as a nice surprise for us Hungarians, there was even a dessert called “Budapest” on offer.

It is expensive. Americsni 5.20, the famaus dessert 9.90. The buffet in the weekdays is more affordable and you can refill your table&coffee. They can give you an hour if you came without reservation. I came here sunday 11:30 and it was really bussy inside. But they are saying that your order will be in 15 min. So it is good to be informed.

Oldest Bakery in Helsinki. We decided to start our day here for breakfast and experience the oldest cafe. During the week breakfast is a buffet.. a very good buffet at that. We did also order a cinnamon bun as well and it was awesome. Staff were so cute and lovely. The atmosphere felt modern but also historic. We enjoyed our breakfast here. I have heard there is long lines for the bakery but we were here really early and not in high season so there were no crowds. You can make reservations for breakfast.

Absolute must-visit if you love cafés. This one has gorgeous interior, amazing staff and the best sweets. The cinnamon bun I had was huge, full of spices and butter. Many people here argue that it is too expensive but we spent 30 euros incl. the tip and I would pay even more for this experience.

Pizzeria Via Tribunali is a Napoli-inspired gem nestled in Helsinki, offering traditional Neapolitan pizzas. The restaurant has gained recognition for its fluffy dough and perfectly charred crusts, thanks to its 450°C open fire oven. It's the first authentic Neapolitan pizzeria in Finland certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana.
One of the best pizza places in Helsinki! We tried the classic Margherita pizza paired with a Coke. For dessert, we indulged in tiramisu, which was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was prompt, effortless, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We stopped here for quick lunch. We had 2 pizzas : margarita and prosciutto. They were delicious. The crust is perfectly soft with a nice char, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Service can be a bit slow during busy hours, but the quality of the food makes it worth the wait. Also cappuccino and latte was delicious. It served with a little cookie and chocolate. Such a nice touch! Prices are reasonable!!definitely recommend it:)

Great food and great location. Went there with a friend because we heard it was one of the best places not only in Finland but also worldwide. The pizza and dessert (I had prosciutto e funghi and then tiramisu) was fantastic, service was excellent, and it wasn't crowded or noisy at all. Nice and quiet place for good food, and the price felt very reasonable.

Prior to my visit I learnt that it's the first and only pizzeria in Finland certified by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association (AVPN). And it increased my curiosity even more. The results? Hands down one of the best pizza experiences of my life. Honestly, I might not have had a better pizza even in Italy. This is exactly what I look for in a pizza, and they deliver it perfectly. I visited the place twice and tried four different pizzas in total. The dough, the cheese and the sauce were so amazing together that the one satisfied me most was their classic Margherita. 100% recommend, no doubt.

Pizza was OK. We had a Marghareta and Puttanesca 2.0 It was good solid pizza but dough and tomato sauce was lacking flavour. That made marghareta leaving something misding. In puttanesca, all strong salty toppings made it closer. But all in all... place was good mood and servicevand everything else great.

I loved my Ponente pizza! My family members had different pizzas with mixed reviews. The pizzas were Bambino (kids) Ham (too sweet and gummy to my son), Diavola (just right per my son), and Boscosa (unique, good, but uncertain for pizza per my father). Tiramisu tasted good. Very good service and calm atmosphere. Worth a visit, especially if you like pizza and visiting nearby including at Helsinki Cathedral. Beautiful and short walk to the restaurant.

Pizza was great. Was not scorched. Had taste. Although the tomatosauce was a bit soggy. Still dough managed to be very firm. Asked for olive oil as side order. They put it directly on pizza. Didnt bother though. Also ordered two beers. Had to remind the waitress to bring them. Pizza was probably the best napolitan i have had in Finland. So i thought to go for a tiramisu. But unfortunately the tiramisu was very wet and soggy. Overall it was a good experience. Although a bit pricey. If you visit Finland. I recommend to try a good old ”känkky and beer” from sivuraide or any other local pizzeria. 😂

We had a couple of drinks on a Saturday night around the corner and this place was the ultimate location to go for dinner. With a 10 minute waiting time, no complaints in regards to the speed of the food being served. It took 10-15 minutes after making our order to receive my Cacio e pepe pizza. Delicious! Some more meat, in this case Guanciale, could have been added to be honest. Interesting name for a pizza, as the pasta variant does not contain meat. It would have been a carbonara pizza? Nevertheless, I would come back to try the other pizzas:) Ohh, and the home made tiramisu is tasty too!

Good execution in every way. Burgers are not really different from what you could find in other places around the world but the concept of the restaurant also plays an important role, specially the decoration and so. They have really good regional beers also and the dressing (chipotle and cheese are highly recommended) upgrades the experience of the fries. Staff is really nice here, though. While this place comes highly recommended in Helsinki, I must admit that the burgers failed to impress me with their lack of distinction. Additionally, it was disappointing to discover, only upon payment, that a service commission of nearly €6 was included in the bill, which was not clearly indicated on the menu.

Very solid burger experience. We had the CheeseBRGR smash burgers, which had a great balance of mustard and ketchup tang, with pickles and onions. Really lovely flat top grill flavor. Good caramelization. The smash burgers are small patties, small enough to be served on martins potato rolls, so I had two. The full burgers may be larger but we didn’t have them. The “fries” are wedges, tasty tho. Overall really enjoyed the flavor. The ambiance is only just a ate above take out, so you’re not gonna linger over a long meal, but happy enough to have a beer.

This restaurant is located very close to the center of Helsinki, which makes parking a bit challenging, but it’s definitely worth a visit. The interior is warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy your meal. I visited on a holiday, but I’ve heard they offer a lunch buffet on regular weekdays, which is another reason to come back and try more.

Super relaxed place with really cool music — very hip vibe. The pizza was insanely good, with a super thin base and a perfectly crispy crust, almost like in Italy. The only thing that was a bit annoying (which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault) were the seagulls. The staff did their best to clear away leftover food quickly, but sometimes it was just too late, and the birds went for it. Other than that, there’s really nothing to complain about. I’d definitely go back! Especially in the evening, I bet it turns into a really cool bar atmosphere.

We ordered the Chef's menu with wines. It was a five course meal with selected wine for each course. Have to say that the food and service was excellent. All the courses were very tasty and well thought of. Meal started with a complementary oyster appetizer. As said all the courses were great but there were two standout courses; salmon soup and mushroom risotto. The best risotto I have ever had and the salmon soup was different from traditional Finnish salmon soups but not too much so. Smoky aroma coming from broth cooked from smoked fishbones was a nice twist. Our waiter was great (sorry I forgot her name but english speaking brunette anyways). First of all she helped us through allergies with changes in the menu and wines and also did a good job describing the courses and wines. Location in the mall was the only slightly negative point but we knew that beforehand so it was a conscious decision. Anyways it was in the area where many of the restaurants are in Kamppi so in that sense it was a good location in a mall. All in all we were very happy and would definetly eat here again!

It's the third time I have the pleasure to eat at Fisken på Disken and they never cease to amaze me! The service staff is very professional, caring, makes you feel special and they always know what to suggest you. You're always welcome with a smile. The food is exquisite and the attention to details is something I really appreciate. All the drinks and food are not only a pleasure to eat but also to look at. The Lohikeitto (Salmon soup) is a MUST and definitely my favourite main dish. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed at all. All the ingredients are perfectly balanced and the salmon is so tender it melts in your mouth. Very flavourful. Also the handmade ice cream is something you don't want to miss. We had the fortune to find white chocolate flavour on the menù. So tasty. I loved the contrast between the creamy ice cream and the chopped dry fruit. Cocktails: The pink Gin Tonic is very fresh, bubbly, perfect for summer. Not too sweet. It's like drinking bubble tea Gin based with pomegranate seeds! Very good, very particular. The Red Yuzu with Tequila is perfect if you like sweeter cocktails with a pinch of sour. Both of them are approved and beautiful to look at. You might confuse them with magic potions (which they are :D) The atmosphere and the staff are relaxing. They don't put pressure on customers and they're not noisy. You don't hear noises from the kitchen either. Another thing I really appreciate as someone who likes tranquillity and relax. The restaurant can be reached on wheelchair.

This place is almost great - the food is generally very good, the broth on the fish soup was great (and what a friend recommended). But the Negroni was pretty funny - the photo is how it arrived. Barely any ice, no dilution, and generally small. So illsuited to its glass. I ordered a side of potatoes without realising the soup was mostly potato, a heads up from the wait staff would have resulted in me buying a different side and not leaving basically the entire side I ordered as the meal was 70% boiled potatoes.. I left and got a non potato snack elsewhere.

Recommended by a local and food was delicious. I opted for the salmon soup and it was a refreshing take on the classic dish. Staffs were friendly and highlighted the free coffee and tea bar and offered to get me 2 more slices of bread so I could finish up the European way.

Doner kebab restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Döner Harju Flemari is a popular kebab joint known for its delicious and craft kebabs. While the food is praised for its great taste, generous portions, and standout dishes like the apple habanero sauce, some customers have experienced issues with cold deliveries and inconsistent customer service. Despite this, many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and overall dining experience.
Ok, first time in Berlin Döner ✌🏻🏆 Took a Berlin plate döner as take away. One dude behind the desk was very friendy. I've never been to Berlin Döner. I stood at the desk and he ask me "Hi, what would you like to have?" I told him I'll have to familiarize myself with their menu first and he was like "yes, take your time man". I selected and paid. When my food was ready, I asked for a disposable fork, an Indian dude was behind the desk at that point. He searched and found the disposable tools, handed me one over the counter and said "here you are, sir". I sensed some stress in this dude, but he was still at his best behaviour, that's excellence.

Due to hot summer weather this week, I am not much craving for kebab but the taste of kebab from this place never choose a weather. It is always consistently flavourful. I got a juicy and tasty lamb meat with crispy french fries. It always definitely a combination with yoghurt and sumac salad on the side. Of course the meal compliments well with the icy cold long drink. The staff are so accommodating and offer us the coolest seat in the restaurant ( as it was really hot weather outside. Definitely I will keep going to this place when I want a good quality kebab in the city.

Me and my friend both got the kebab wrap. The place was quiet and the food came quickly. The interior and the exterior weren’t very impressive. I would’ve liked more chicken and less salad in my wrap and also the ingredients weren’t mixed so you had to bite the different sides of the wrap to get salad and meat. Overall the wraps were good.

The food was delicious, places kept tidy, and service was nice and welcoming. Will definitely come and visit again. Bonus points for the nice display on the plate!

Quite good the taste when they open was much better and the smell too now its a bit regular. But anyways its good enough but not the same as Middle East or Berlin or Turkey.
ADRY O — Google review
The staff were friendly, the place had a calm vibe, and the döner was decent, but I’d say decent by Finnish standards. It's not really fair to compare it with Turkish or German döner, so it’s better to go without that expectation.

Stumbled across this place on my first stroll - located inside the food market! Highly recommend, their food is incredibly good, served fresh and fast. I had the noodles with salmon (very good portion, lots of fish) and the chicken dumplings. Definitely worth a visit!

We went to this restaurant because it was highly recommended. We ordered a dish with salmon and noodles. The dish basically consisted of a lot of noodles, mayonnaise and a small piece of salmon. It wasn't bad, but paying 15 euros for 90% noodles was a mistake. For this reason, I don't recommend it and I won't go back to this restaurant. Since we went late in the day, I even thought there were no more ingredients.

Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner with options like crispy pork, kale pasta, and seafood. Additionally, the establishment has a flower shop on-site for special celebrations.
A dreamy place I wish I had in my own city. Did not taste the food, but came for wines. Great wine, great interior, great staff and great vibes. Wish I could experience a wine evening here with music, candles and cigarettes outside. If ever in Helsinki, I’ll of course come back.

A restaurant but also a hang out place. This represents everything I love about Kallio: youthful, energetic, diverse, creative. I was a bit disappointed with my visit. The salad had large, uneven pieces of iceberg lettuce, including parts of the core, which were tough and unpleasant to eat. There were also quite a few brown spots. On top of that, it lacked seasoning and dressing, so the overall taste was quite bland. On the positive side, the service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated.

I was not expecting to be blown away by the salmon dish. Everyone talks about how lovely the setting and vibe are here, and that is completely true. But do not sleep on the food, I found it superb. Arthur B — Google review
The ambience is relatively alright and the food was good. It’s not the typical Italian pizza, but it holds its own. We tried the Tel Aviv and Pan Con Tomate pizzas, along with the house crisps and 2 glasses of wine. We were greeted with a smile by the lady at the counter, who then told us that we could proceed to any table of our choice. We chose a table by the window, which had probably been vacated recently as the table was a little dirty. Our server appeared with two glasses and a water jug, and hurriedly went on to place them on the table. He turned to leave, however I requested him to clean the table, which he did. He was sweet, but a little distracted. He then handed over the food menus, but not the drink menus, which we had to request later on. Whilst ordering the drinks, my friend asked the server whether any of the wines were organic, which he did not know, but went on to check. He returned saying that “he does not know whether they were organic, but knew that one of them was from Spain”...whilst illogical and unrelated, it certainly was funny! Next, we enquired about the grape variety of two of the wines, since only their names and countries were given. Again, there was a lack of awareness (the wine menu was limited, so was really not a hard ask), as the server had to go back to the bar to check them from the bottles. My friend ordered a glass of the white and I ordered the red; the order was repeated as well. When we got the drinks, both were white. I politely mentioned the same to the server, he acknowledged the error and changed the glass. He also mentioned that he had been working in another Skiffer and this was his first day at this location; I completely empathise since I’m from the same industry, however the guest should not be feeling like it’s your first day. I doubt the menu is different between the two locations, so the errors seemed more due to lack of attention. Furthermore, cleaning the table and providing the drinks menu are things for which the guest should not need to prompt, regardless of the restaurant. Overall, a relatively decent outing, but only because of the food really. Also, the lady at the counter was pleasant. The server, too, was smiling through the errors, which made it bearable. Not sure if I’d return though.

Goldfish is a small basement cocktail bar that clearly targets clients who have money to spend. The selection of spirits is exceptional in quality and consequently also in price. We visited on a slow Wednesday night and chose to sit by the bar to have an opportunity to talk to the bartenders. The menu consisted of classic cocktails, each with an artistic variant available. The bartenders clearly knew their drinks. I described Morgenthaler's way of making a lime cordial, and to my surprise the bartender promptly decided to give it a try. The resulting gimlet was so much better than the typical "fresh lime juice" concoctions you mostly get nowadays. For a quiet time, visit early in the week. Overall a very nice cocktail bar, but also very expensive.

Lunch buffet at 9.90€. Add soft ice with candies, sauces etc. is plus 2.70€ per person. All you can eat. Some pizzas were a bit cooled and dried down. Reason: so few people. But as more people came to eat, the situations got better. Good variety of pizzas with various toppings. Chicken wings, meatballs, french fries, wieners, nachos, salsa, jalapenos (spicy; great!), greens like rucola, tomato, cucumber, red onion mix, onion rings, cale, salad.. cottage cheese, fetacheese, pumpkin seeds, salted peanuts.. Pepperoni, Tuna, Hawaii, Cheeseburger, Garlic Tuna etc -pizzas. Bonaqua water Strawberry/kiwi with Zinc, Fanta lemon, Fanta Orange zero sugar, Coke normal or zero sugar, Sprite. Coffee light or dark roast with or without milk, special coffees. Plenty of things to choose from. The staff was very friendly. Free toilets (naturally), the door is locked, just ask for the code (I did not take the receipt, so I don't know if it had the code printed on it). We spend 1.5 hours of indulging, relaxed with no hurry. Between 10.55-12.25. A lot of free tables to choose from. Diners were mostly construction workers from nearby sites or elderly people. Entrance is from the street one floor down. Burger King is entered from the same doors.

So we visited on a Tuesday evening in July, it was very quiet when we arrived, and started that way, drinks are included with the buffet, everything is self service. Was fairly clean, but everything was being done by one chap from cleaning, to cooking, to serving so as you'd expect everything wasn't perfect... Our biggest issue was despite a huge menu of veggie pizzas there was one cheese pizza, that wasn't even margarita as it was lacking any tomato base... Overall ok value for what you get, just not amazing...

The food tasted just like it should in my opinion. It’s RAX. Not the greatest food by any means, but it has it’s charm & place. The hygene in the restaurant was kinda bad. Banana flies circled around the desert station which was gross. Besides that it was what I expected. I craved their fat intensive pizzas & their killer fried chicken wings. Overall a 3/5 score today 17.11.2025.

The customer service was excellent, even though I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order. The burger was tasty, though I felt it was a bit small for the price. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not very clean—there was food under my table, and no napkins were available until several customers asked for them. Service was very fast. Overall, the experience was ok.

It's ok, you can eat here and will be fine. Some items are good some are better to avoid. I've ordered one king fusion with cookie dough and got one with Oreo instead. What was interesting about that, is that employee noticed the error and apologized, giving me extra King fusion for free, not bad ! Though, I should say, the one with Oreo is actually much better, so avoid cookie dough, I won't be getting it next time. Now the place is clean, but not everywhere, restroom is quite disappointing as there were no soap only sanitizer. Even though you need to know the code to get in, it seems to me that cleaning hasn't been a big priority overall.

We were passing by and decided to jump in - best decision we could make. We took 2 lunch boxes, chicken and falafel and both were great, meat was juicy and well seasoned, falafel was tasteful and crispy. Sauce was also great, very very tasty and matched the wrap. Hummus and tabbolueh as side dishes great, although I mixed them up, it was too much parsley for me to eat just like that ;) hummus would be great with some naan bread od something to dip in as a starter! Baklava - awesome, I wish it was a little bigger to enjoy it longer... ;)

The place is really amazing with fast service. Though it might be a little late in the rush hour. The place is really clean. The workers are constantly cleaning tables and floors whenever there are less customers or it gets dirty. Perfect place to hang out with your date, friends or alone

The store is a bit dirty (tables not clean etc) but it is refreshing to go to a Macdonald's and order from the counter as there are no computers to take the orders.

I ordered in Raw French fries and three cold burger, colder than my hands and the cheese was still stiff. Directly to garbage and Wolt refunded €3,40 from my over €25 order. What a joke, I would have accepted them to replace them with cooked food. See you tomorrow, I will bring the trash back!

McDonald’s Hakaniemi in Helsinki offers fast, reliable service and consistent quality. The location is convenient with clean dining areas and friendly staff. Great for a quick bite, whether you're grabbing a classic Big Mac, fries, or a hot coffee on the go.

Honestly talking about my experience was quite awesome. I have been here so many times but in different branch . And I just notice one of your staff who served me, she got the name unnati brahmbhatt and she was so good with the communication skill. I mean she seems a great human and working so hard for this company. I just want you to have a look to this staff for the greatness of your company.....
