Cabot Circus is a modern shopping center in Bristol, featuring over 120 high street and designer shops. The airy, modern space with a glass roof also includes restaurants and a cinema. This shopping destination has become a prime attraction for both locals and visitors since its opening in 2008, transforming the central shopping area of Bristol. It offers an array of shops ranging from high-street retailers to popular department stores like Harvey Nichols.
This is a vibrant and modern shopping destination in the heart of Bristol, offering a diverse mix of high-street brands, designer stores, and independent boutiques. The striking glass-roof architecture creates an open, airy atmosphere, making it a pleasant space to explore in any weather. Beyond shopping, it boasts a wide range of dining options, from quick bites to sit-down restaurants, catering to various tastes. The cinema and entertainment facilities add to its appeal, making it more than just a retail hub. Convenient parking and good public transport links make access easy. Overall, it’s a lively, well-designed spot perfect for shopping, dining, and leisure.

Stunning piece of modern architecture. The indoor/outdoor feel really works. Beautiful at sunset..
Cartz — Google review
It's a big shopping centre, with great architectures, great design. The car parks are also big. The capacity is more than 2.500 cars. Besides shops, department stores, restaurants, coffee shops, lego store, technology & electronics store, there are also some entertainment, such as Escape Hunt, Treetop Golf, and King Pins (Bowling Alley). Toilets for customers are available.
Marta D — Google review
WHERE DO I START? Start by walking through a glass bridge, which, in all honesty, did make me a bit hazy Then you get to the monstrosity of a shopping centre I don't know how to describe it Futuristic design with a lot of restaurants, shops and allsorts 🤯
Ozzie O — Google review
Really pretty shopping centre / area. The indoor / outdoor architecture makes it open and light and inviting. Good selection of restaurants at the top level and shops on the bottom level. However, it is quite standard in terms of available shops and restaurants, e.g., no unique shops, just all the big chains. It is a bit of a long way from the car park to the lower shopping level (walking through the carpark, over the bridge, through the restaurant area, and down the escalators).
Sidsel K — Google review
I attended pizza express last week with my kids, we were served by a very lovely young lady who I unfortunately can’t remember her name but she had brown and pink hair which my daughter loved! She greeted us at the door with a big friendly smile and seated us at the table. She was very polite and chatty throughout the whole service. The food was absolutely delicious and everything came out at the perfect time! I could not recommend this restaurant enough especially if you have kids, we will definitely be back!!
Ami J — Google review
Large shopping complex with easy access parking nearby. Large eclectic range of shops. Plenty of food outlets and other nearby shops outside the complex. Easy to reach via road, bus or on foot.
A L — Google review
Have visited Cabot numerous times, remembering the opening and hype surrounding it, to more recently. It's such a shame about the cinema, it was a great location and I had some great memories of amazing films there! The shops and restaurant options are fantastic and ever changing, and although car parking is a nightmare and queues into the center impact it, I can see they're clearly making an effort to reinvigorate the circus, considering it's been around for almost 17 years! Still looks like a new building and it's kept very clean and well maintained. I think Cabot would also benefit from a few more seating options, besides the giant staircase, maybe some proper sofa seating like Cribbs Causeway has dotted around? (But please, I'd love a new cinema in Showcases place!)

Bristol Shopping Quarter is a bustling shopping area located in the heart of the city center. It boasts a wide array of shops, from well-known high street brands to unique independent boutiques. The quarter also features an impressive selection of dining options, including cafes and restaurants serving diverse cuisines. Visitors can take refuge from the rain in one of Bristol's shopping centers, which offer entertainment for all ages, such as cinema screens and family-friendly activities.
I absolutely love spending time at the Bristol Shopping Quarter! Every visit feels magical, especially around this time of year when the decorations and lights make it feel like Christmas is just around the corner. The atmosphere is warm and festive, and each shop seems to add its own unique charm to the holiday spirit. Walking through the beautifully lit streets and seeing the Christmas displays gives such a cozy, joyful vibe that really gets you in the holiday mood. There’s a great variety of stores to explore, from popular brands to unique, local shops, making it easy to find gifts for everyone on your list. The cafes and food stalls are also perfect for a break, with hot chocolate and seasonal treats that add to the experience. I always look forward to my visits here—it's the perfect place to embrace the holiday spirit while getting all your shopping done!

Cabot circus, with its wide array of shops. There is something for everyone here. If your driving, don't pay the clean air charge, park at portway Park and ride. It's only a short journey, and it saves a lot of stress and hassle.
Andy M — Google review
Amazing ambience love the lay out of unique mall. Shopping experience was delightful as we were able to enjoy indoor and outdoorat the same time. Environmental friendly as glass roof was enabling sunlight to be the main source of light.
Flip F — Google review
Pretty shady place after it starts to get dark. People passed out in benches large groups of travelers playing music and drinking. During the day it's fine. Security guards at most shops..toilets locked up.
Burn R — Google review
Loads of shops and things to do there. Some good Halloween activities and things for kids too
George J — Google review
Very nice place for shopping and having food. So many brands are available in this place.

High quality and luxury items and also nice view under the dome covered space where you can avoid getting wet in case of rain

The further south-west you travel the smaller the shopping experience. This has to be, alongside Cribbs Causeway, the last great hurrah for retail in this part of the world and well worth a visit.

It's a great alternative to mainstream shopping areas like Cabot Circus. The market features quirky stalls, independent cafes, locally made products, and a variety of street food. Visitors can explore the market's unique offerings while enjoying leisurely strolls hand in hand.
Really great market with a large variety of stalls. So good we went twice. Recommend to have some cash as not all stands accept card.

I visited the St Nicholas Market today for the first time! It’s absolutely lovely with loads of variety of food and drinks to choice from. I had The Ultimate Combo from Low and Slow and the Big Five from Big Juice. All 10/10!!🤩 Only thing is if you go for lunch (which is when I went - around 12:30pm), it is quite packed and there are limited seats.

St Nicks Market is fantastic - today I went for shoe repairs, great service, and speedy! There are lots of independent shops with a huge variety, great for personal shopping and gifts. I've added 2 photos, one before the lunch time rush and one during, there is a great variety of food available.
Noj T — Google review
My partner and I had a fantastic time exploring St Nicholas Market. It's an amazing spot to dive into a wide variety of food stalls – there are so many delicious options to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. The market has a great, bustling atmosphere, though it can get quite crowded on most days. It's also a wonderful place for a bit of street shopping. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bristol looking for great food and a vibrant experience!
Abins A — Google review
It was my first time visit St Nicholas Market in Bristol. I really like this type of market including variety of food and different type of stalls with unique things. Must visit when you are in Bristol I would say.
Elsa C — Google review
Great market with a good selection of stalls ranging from fashion, clothing, arts & craft, home style, toys, jewellery, ornaments and some fantastic food stalls. Can't resist getting something to eat every time. Freshly made and smells so good. Eat here rather than the usual boring chains, there's something for all tastes.
David C — Google review
This place is superb to visit - not just a market à la minu Camden, but also a quire excwlkent range of eateries
Marc R — Google review
This place has a variety of food stalls. I loved the Moroccan chicken and some delicious venison, bacon, chicken, and vegetable pastries—all fantastic! I brought home some. Then I stopped by the store. I didn't realise it would be so beautiful, with a variety of blouses, dresses, cotton and linen trousers, and beautiful leather bags. A restaurant and cafe with a selection of delicious snacks and some wood and ceramic crafts, and the people were lovely! I loved it and I must go back! Cheers

Garment Quarter is a chic shopping destination that beautifully blends the essence of New York's Garment District with Manchester's Northern Quarter. Since its inception in 2010, this modern store has become a haven for fashion enthusiasts seeking high-end designer clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry. With an impressive selection from renowned brands like Vivienne Westwood, Moschino, Versace, Victoria Beckham, and Comme des Garçons, shoppers are treated to unique yet wearable pieces that stand out.
I purchased a few men's wallets after reading the reviews on Google and other site. The items arrived safely and securely packed within two days of ordering. The items came in a lovely gift bag which was a nice touch. I decided to return some of the items and Alana (customer rep) responded to my e-mail request immediately and provided me a free returns label. I sent the items back and received a refund on the returned items within 3 days. Super fast service and great customer service, will use you guys in the future and hope to visit the store once Covid 19 is over. Thank you.
MR C — Google review
Absolutely disgusted with garment quarter. Bought T-shirt which was way oversized. Returned for a refund which they subsequently sent back to an Amazon account I don’t even have. Proof of purchase sent to them that it was bought on my visa debit card and they still refuse to refund me the £71. Keep telling me to contact my payment provider but how can I when I don’t have an Amazon account. My bank have not had any refund from them. Please do not ever buy from the shop they are a complete con and fraudulent company and their customer service is non existent in manners and help.
Helen B — Google review
Absolute joke of a company, informed me that they have received the trainers back I had purchased, and said they had refunded me, however they didn't refund me they took the money of £229 out of my account. When I emailed them and asked why they wouldn't have it and said they had refunded me. Sent them a picture of my bank statement and they are still denying that it wasn't them that took the money. So now they have the trainers back and also made money off me. Still in the middle of a complaint that has been ongoing for than 4 weeks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY STAY CLEAR OF EM.
Neil T — Google review
Awful customer service, I purchased a pair of Versace trainers from them and wore them for 3 days and they broke. When I tried to return them the “manager” was rude, unhelpful and (attempted to be) condescending… she refused a refund as she said it was wear and tear (I don’t think wear and tear applies to 3 days). Just not the kind of service you expect when purchasing higher calibre brands… Harvey Nichols is down the street, so I would shop there if I were you! I then messaged customer service and they have not replied to any email! Really really poor service. One star is too high
Daniel S — Google review
Brilliant service, warm welcoming staff and an affordable price for luxury items. The staff here are extremely helpful and treat you how you expect to be treated when entering a shop such as garment quarter. They were quick to grab items in the size that i requested and honestly couldn't be more helpful! I am from wales and garment quarter makes the trip to bristol worth it!
Luca C — Google review
Used to be a great company used many times. Since being taken over by flannels Customer service is awful. Waiting a month for a refund. Then fobbed off saying it’s been done and then ignoring all emails and calls. I’d avoid if I was you. There returns department is awful
Sheila T — Google review
The new store looks incredible and they have an amazing selection of top brands. I've made many purchases from them over the years and have always been impressed with both the quality of the clothes and the customer service. Great store - highly recommend!

Quite bad service staff were chatting away the whole time. They didn't even acknowledge me when I entered, it was a very awkward situation. I work in Cabot and its a shame this store has some lovely pieces by Victoria Beckham and other designers that Harvey Nichols don't offer.

Rhubarb Jumble is a vintage store located on North Street, specializing in clothing, homeware, and furniture from the 1950s to the 1970s. The owner's love for mid-century style is evident in the unique collection, which includes iconic Lea Stein jewelry. Visitors can expect to find a diverse range of items such as shift dresses, velvet wingback chairs, and even kids' pajamas.
This is my favourite shop in Bristol - the staff are all so friendly and helpful! They constantly have great new stock which is reflected in how often they switch up the gorgeous window display. I’ve found some amazing dresses and jewellery and they also often have really interesting vintage furniture at great prices.
Olivia S — Google review
One of the best second hand shops I've seen in the last 40 years. What makes a shop like this great is the selection process. When you have a second hand shop people give you stuff constantly and most shops are too full, and most of the stuff is pretty average. Rhubarb selects its stuff like a curator would select items for an exhibition. Everything in the shop is a gem in some way and the staff make you feel welcome to browse for as long as you like. I went there to get some Xmas presents and it was the ideal place to get everything I needed. So much better than a gift shop or any other type of shop I could imagine for getting gifts. Worth a detour. In fact, if you're getting the bus from Bristol Airport you can get off at the first stop and get here in a jiffy (just ask the driver for "North Street").
Rupert M — Google review
Staff are always lovely and there's so many cute items to buy!
Quinn R — Google review
Now here's a well-curated vintage shop. You can always trust the quality of vintage stocked by Rhubarb Jumble. They've done all the hard work of pulling together the best pieces, making it a pleasure to browse! Amy is super friendly and knowledgable too. I just wish there was one closer to my house… good thing they now have a website!
Catriona D — Google review
You never know what you're going to find in Rhubarb Jumble! Always full of vintage treasure, from mid century furniture to 60s hair clips and with an expertly curated range of clothing. It was the first place I bought myself a house-warming gift of a lamp when I first moved to Bristol 8 years ago and it still sits happily on my bedside table. If you're unable to make it to the shop, be sure to check the website too!

Such treasures and charm! This lovely lady has a great eye for vintage, retro and collectable stuff. She brings it all together in style and with impeccable manners that you will leave with something beautiful and feel like you have made a pal. I love it and really look forward to my next visit.

In addition to timeless wardrobe essentials, the store also features a carefully curated homeware collection with Scandinavian-inspired items and interior accessories from both Europe and local makers.

Love all the stuff in this shop, however the staff are extremely unwelcoming and rude. Felt very uncomfortable in store which is a shame considering the items are so lovely!

Just popped into Fox & Feather for the first time in ages. Full of really lovely pieces but I did not enjoy the experience as neither of the two sales assistants could be bothered to say hello or even acknowledge my presence. At all! Just carried n looking at their phones and chatting. Felt quite awkward so I left. No 1 rule in retail - your customers should be your absolute 1st priority. Some serious customer service training required in this place!! A real shame and not a nice experience 😐

Nice shop but worth noting that when buying something online and it doesnt suit you are charged for post both ways. First time happening when using a smaller business and put me off.

Excellent procedures in place to ensure a safe visit for all customers. I love how personable every visit to fox and feather is. Great staff always on hand to help and advise. Gorgeous clothes and I love the homewear too
Rachael T — Google review
The Fox and Feather is one of few independent shops in Bristol with a good selection of menswear. I was impressed with both the quality of the items and the price - which was I thought fairly good value. The shop itself also has a larger womenswear selection and is well worth a look if you are trying to find a quirky gift for someone. A welcome addition to Gloucester road (which has the largest number of independent traders on any one road in the UK), I think the shop will do well.

This is a fantastic independent store who clearly works hard to support local creators! They sell beautiful products as affordable prices, this is coming from someone who usually ocean only afford £30-60 for Christmas presents a year. Urban Fox is a vibrant vintage clothing stall located in St. Nicholas Market, known for its carefully curated collection of high-quality and well-organized vintage pieces from the 1980s and 1990s. The owner, a seasoned expert in the vintage fashion scene, ensures that every item is handpicked to offer unique and ahead-of-the-curve streetwear, thrifted items, and upcycled clothes.
My daughter and I loved it here. We were looking for a leather jacket. The owner kindly helped us find exactly what we wanted. Thank you!

This Is a very nice vintage clothing store, I visited on the off chance they had something, whilst i was there I found one of (my now) favourite shirts form a long gone season of a brand I like. This shop it right outside st Nicholas market and fits in well with the stalls there

Could not be the least interested in attending to customers. I was obviously interested in purchasing a tweed jacket, but was ignored. The person behind the counter was being told a long (and obviously very important ) tale by a female assistant? Pity really as the shop has lots of nice stuff in stock. If the talkative woman is employed be Urban Fox - I would recommend some staff training.

Mmmeh, it was okay. I actually love the lack of customer service unlike the other reviewers, but I felt the wares were a bit middle of the road for my personal taste. There was a lot of sportswear and men’s wear, most of it in decent shape, good colorways and nice branding. Just not what I tend to be hunting for so it was middle of the road for me.
Aprylle — Google review
The vintage goods may be great but the customer service is third world. Snooty people are bad for business. And in Bristol, there's more superior vintage shops that also have respectful interested staff and management. Watch and learn.

Women's clothing store
Grace & Mabel Ltd is a boutique store founded by three sisters in 2007, located in Clifton Village with a second store in Bath and an online shop. The boutique offers a curated selection of women's clothing, accessories, fragrances, and beauty products from designers around the world. They carry brands like Weekend by Maxmara, Paul Smith, J Brand Denim, By Malene Birger, Ash, Veja and independent jewelry brands.
As a returning customer (a customer is only a customer when you come back to buy) once again wowed by the friendly, helpful and smiles. Kirsty searched for additional dresses and outfits in the Clifton store on their website, we found some stuff in the Bath branch. Shipped overnight. We returned the next day for trying on and purchased. Outstanding... we love you! Thank you so much, and we had a giggle into the bargain. If you are looking for individual clothes and service. This is one to definitely visit.

One of the finest boutiques in the country. I’ve lived in many other countries and this has to be one of the most beautiful boutiques I know. The brands are of superb quality and incredibly well thought out when bought in and displayed in the shop. I always say it’s like a high end luxury sweet shop. The colours and designers from Stine Goya are artwork in their own right. The boutique is like a work of art and worth a visit even just to take it all in. The owners have class and know how to display. No wonder film crew get inspiration from them. Two stores only in Bristol Clifton Village and Bath. If you ever get the chance to visit them please do. If you absolutely love fashion in every detail then you must visit these boutiques and see for yourself. Absolutely beautiful. You will be inspired and a fan for life.

The perfect example of why shops need to exist! Great selection of clothes for every occasion and for all ages. Helpful advice and service to match. Danny went over and above to help me when the zip a raincoat I had purchased from the shop broke, even though it was out of guarantee. If I had bought it online it just wouldn’t have been the same. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.

I was so pleased to visit Grace and Mabel last week- because of the pandemic and living in Wales, the visit was long over due. I had only planned to pop in for my favourite E. Coudray perfume - I called the day before heading over and chatted to the lovely Danii. The perfume was out of stock in Clifton but Danii was able to get it brought over from their Bath store and it was ready when I arrived. I was overwhelmed by the vibrant colours and the individual styling of the boutique. As I selected several garments to try on Tee was on hand to put them in my changing cubicle. Tee was the just the best- so helpful....up and down the stairs several times checking on sizes for me. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a really fun experience - I came away with several pieces which I'll be able to wear in so many different ways. Thanks Girls for a wonderful hour.....I'd forgotten how much I loved Grace and Mabel not only because of its individual styling but also your pure loveliness.

Came down from London for Upfest. After finding out my favourite streetwear store, Seven had closed, a friend pointed me in the direction of Don Majors. The garms are unusual, rare and pure dope. Fresh collection of Moschino, Stone Island, Tommy, vintage Nike. Loved the shop. Female employee with purple hair was friendly, chatty and helpful

Don Majors, what can I say, the staff are so friendly I literally didn't want to leave. In fact I try to check in at least once or twice a week just to say hello and make sure they're all ok. That's not including the one day a week I pop in to actually look at the clothes. They've really nailed their collection, shirts, shorts, jumpers, scrunchies, sunglasses, trousers, skirts, hoodies, jackets, jeans, bags, roller skates, minirigs, caps, artwork, even a cheeky little sega mega drive bench. If you like wearing clothes, come buy them from here. Tip top.

Clifton Village is a charming area in Bristol with steep roads leading to the Floating Harbour. The village offers an array of small independent shops, including jewelry, antique, and gift shops. Visitors can explore the unique shopping experience at Clifton Arcade and browse through up-market shops on Whiteladies Road. Additionally, there are markets on Saturdays offering local produce. The Albion, a 17th-century pub in the heart of Clifton Village, provides a swanky take on traditional British pubs.
Beautiful sunny day helped but lovely to walk around the vibrant clifton village. So many places to eat, drink and shop. Everything you could need. Parking is on street and costs £1 an hour. Lots to see and easy to walk around although you are at the top of the gorge so some streets are deceptively steep! Wonderful views and plenty of sights. Recommend walking over the suspension bridge too.

Brunel's SS Great Britain is a remarkable museum ship that once held the title of the longest and first ocean liner in the world from 1845 to 1854. Designed by the brilliant Isambard Kingdom Brunel for transatlantic voyages between New York and Bristol, this iconic vessel has been beautifully restored since its near ruin in the 1970s.
Must must must visit if you are in Bristol - specially if you have never been on a ship before. I was very excited to see this ship and I absolutely enjoyed my visit. Love how the ship is maintained and turned into a fun interactive exhibit. I found it very fascinating. You can get an annual pass with the ticket, so I visited twice. During my first visit, I was lucky to watch a live play that was enacted, with the staff all dressed up in Victorian attire. They also interacted with us in the ship. The kitchen set up in the ship was the best part for me with every tiny detailing bringing it to life. The occupied toilet was hilarious and unexpected. You could easily spend 2-3 hours feeling like you're on a real voyage.

The staff are really lovely and can answer all your questions. There is a small cafe on the ship whit is very nice.Thete are toilets on the ship,in the museum and the shop. The museums are packed full of items related to the ship and Brunel .There is a well stocked shop and a cafe by the shop. You can use your tickets to return for a year.We spent about 5 hours exploring everything. It was a great experience! The museum is absolutely stunning, especially the ship with the realistic figures — it truly takes your breath away. The lady dressed in the old-fashioned gown was amazing! I’ve visited the place twice, and each time I discover something new. Don’t forget to explore under the ship — I did that on my second visit — and above the ship, which I saw the first time. Totally worth visiting! 🚢✨
Dana R — Google review
We visited here two years ago and wer impressed then, this visit did nothing to diminish that feeling. We really enjoyed the history of the Historic Dockyard and the SS Great Britain. The staff and volunteers are amazing and really friendly, plus the information they provided us was really interesting. The way it is layed out was very fluid allowing you to see an experience the life of this ship and the LIfe of Brunel. A must see when you visit Bristol.
Mark C — Google review
Haven't been here for years but it's certainly worth a visit now. The last time I went I think the ship's hull was still open to the elements, it's now contained within a temperature controlled environment. They've done an excellent job with the museum and the continuing restoration of the ship. The ship's been 'dressed' brilliantly too! A fantastic experience!
Chris K — Google review
You like ships and you enjoy history, so you're visiting right? Do, its worth it. Start in the shop, worth a peruse, then down and walk around the hull but with a little twist, you're under water or are you...? Worth mentioning, very humid in here but needs to be. Then, into the main museum and the history, not going to spoil the story here but interesting. Wind your way up and then onto the ship itself. Apparently, could house up to 700 passengers, good luck working out where they all slept! All in all, very enjoyable and would definitely bring the grandkids next time. Enjoy!
David T — Google review
The ship and the man behind it are a very interesting historical story. The site covers both super well. It is easily one of the historical sites in Bristol. Be sure to check out both sides of the museum and the movie. Also be sure to ask about live presentations. They really add a lot of backstory.
Alan J — Google review
Awesome museum with friendly knowledgeable staff. The ship itself is an awesome sight to see and the information provided by both the museum and the Brunel museum really helps you approacciate how revolutionary his vessel was at the time and see the genius of it's designer. A fine example of British engineering at its best. Access to the ship is good including for wheel chairs and children although I would be careful in the lower steerage class areas as the floors are not that level. The fact you can return on one ticket for 12 months shows great value. Parking is practically next door to the ship although remember Bristol has signed up to the clean air charge so expect to be charged for visiting and bringing money to the city.

Nestled along the picturesque Bristol Harbourside, We The Curious is a vibrant science and arts museum that promises an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. This interactive center is designed like an indoor festival, featuring a plethora of engaging exhibits spread across two floors. Families can dive into hands-on activities in the Open City Lab, where budding scientists can collaborate on experiments with real researchers. Art enthusiasts will appreciate The Box gallery, while food lovers can explore the science behind cooking in their interactive kitchen and greenhouse.
An absolutely amazing place! My 5 year old loved zooming around interacting with everything. There's enough detailed science exhibits (infornation plaques) for older visitors, while also having simpler demonstrating activities/interactive features for those with a shorter attention span. Throughout the day there are mini shows, demonstrations, story times etc that are free. There's also the planetarium shows (at an extra cost) throughout the day. Everything is sign posted so well, there's enough to explore for the whole day and a cafe on premise that you'd never want to leave. I have to say that the absolute highlight of our day was thanks to a staff member named Arthur. 5 STARS! From taking us through an environmental impact activity, to making sure to find us again (I had to rush out because said 5 year old ran off to the next cool thing) only to say 'thank you' for taking part in their research, to being there and supportive when there was an incident with another child, to pointing out the quiet room.... Arthur made us feel safe, seen, welcome, and included.

We The Curious — A Wedding Venue That’s Truly One of a Kind We’ve had the absolute pleasure of photographing weddings at all sorts of venues, but We The Curious stands out as something really special. The planetarium ceremony space is unlike any other — an immersive dome that creates this incredible intimate atmosphere, perfect for couples wanting something unique and memorable. Sure, the low light can be a bit tricky, but that just adds to the mood and makes for some truly cinematic photos. The rest of the venue offers great flexibility with beautiful event rooms and balconies overlooking Bristol’s cityscape. The terrace is a favourite spot for guests to relax and mingle, especially if the weather plays ball. Plus, having the museum open for guests to explore after the ceremony adds an extra layer of fun and interaction that you just don’t get elsewhere. From a photographer’s point of view, We The Curious is a playground full of interesting spaces and colourful backdrops — perfect for creative couple and group portraits. It’s a venue that’s quirky, thoughtful, and full of heart. We can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to throw a wedding that’s as unique as their love story.

I recently attended one on sustainable living, and I came away feeling so inspired and equipped with practical tips I could actually use. It’s clear they put a lot of care and effort into everything they do. If you're looking for a welcoming, engaging, and genuinely curious space in Bristol, this is it. Highly recommend!

I went to We The Curious in Bristol with my nephew and honestly it ended up being one of those days where both the kid and the adult end up enjoying it just as much as each other. The place has this mix of science, colour and hands on stuff that keeps you busy without even realising how fast the time goes. We both had our own favourite bits. For me, I really liked how interactive everything is. Nothing just sits there gathering dust, you actually get to press things, spin things and figure stuff out. My nephew absolutely loved the colour octagon wheel, and I have to admit I did too. It is so bright and weirdly satisfying to play around with. We must have stood there for ages just messing with it. Another thing I really liked was how friendly the staff were. They actually talk to you like they enjoy being there. My nephew loved the little experiments section where you can try out different gadgets and watch stuff light up or move. It kept him completely focused which is rare for him. The planetarium though, that is the best bit of the whole place. You go in thinking it is just a dome with stars, but it is amazing and creative and feels like you get pulled into the show. Barney the host was brilliant as well. Really funny, really clear and you can tell he enjoys what he does. He made the whole thing feel alive, like you are actually floating around space instead of sitting in a room in Bristol. I also liked how much variety there is. Every corner has something different going on. My nephew enjoyed the section with shadows and lights, and we both liked the big mechanical displays you can play with. By the end of it we were both tired but still felt like we could have stayed another hour. Overall We The Curious is one of those places that gets science right. It is colourful, creative and fun without feeling like school. If you go with kids they will be buzzing, but even as an adult you end up enjoying it more than you expect.

Few things were interesting and interactive Very busy on our visit i would avoid day entry which was £20! entry after 3 is £11 and probably a lot quieter. We missed out on half of the activities because it was so over crowded. Following on others reviews on google it does seem more philosophical than science-y. Would still recommend to visit as a time filler

We had a fabulous time here on Sunday afternoon. It was well organised and really interesting. As 2 adults we thoroughly enjoyed "playing" with all the hands on exhibits. It's fascinating, fun and educational all at once. A lovely lady called Shannon demonstrated a few things for us and gave us some interesting facts too. She was really knowledgeable and helpful. The planetarium show was an added bonus and amazing with the 3D glasses! Arthur gave us an excellent interstellar "tour" which was fun for the children but still interesting for adults and fascinating for everyone. He has a lovely manner and explained everything very clearly. I would thoroughly recommend this to young and old alike. It's fun, interesting and the staff were all lovely. 😉
Maxine C — Google review
Generally great, and kids will love it. The half price after 3pm is a good option in these price tough times (although there is certainly enough to keep you busy more then 2hrs!) Naturally it can be pretty chaotic, but there is a wide range of interactive games, learning experiences and fun activities. Tickets brought online beforehand was fine but it's always so annoying having to create an account and set a silly, long password just to book tickets, grr 🥺 guest checkout plz
Philip — Google review
My 10 years son enjoyed his time spending at the museum. Personally, I would prefer more interactive games or stuffs he can play. He like making his own video the most because he had done similar stuffs at school. Might come back in a couple year time.

Bristol Aquarium is a popular family attraction located in the heart of the city, offering an exciting underwater adventure. Visitors can explore eight permanent exhibits, including the Sunken Shipwreck, Bay of Rays, and Urban Jungle Botanical House. The aquarium houses a diverse range of sea creatures in both tropical and native environments, from sharks to sea bass. Additionally, it features a giant octopus and Amazonian fish in large tanks with underwater tunnels.
A great place to visit whilst in Bristol! We arrived first thing, before there was any crows so was able to spend time at each of the tanks and displays. Plenty to see and enjoy, including the talks which were informative and engaging. Loved the fact we could pop out for some lunch and come back in on the same ticket. We spent over four hours here and felt the tickets were great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Had a good time at the aquarium! It wasn't too crowded (except at the Octopus talk - which was otherwise fab!) and there was many interesting fish and underwater creatures. However, I have been to better and bigger aquariums, so about £42 for two adults felt a little steep for about 1.5h - we went slow and took our time looking at all the fish.

tickets are a bit expensive but you can use them the whole day. they have a variety of fish as well as plants, two large pools with fish and sharks, there’s little dinosaur exhibits around too. very kid oriented but still okay for an adult. the gift shop is small with fine selection of souvenirs

The aquarium itself was fantastic, well designed and clean and a good layout. It was easy to get round and made the best use of the space available. My son loved it. In comparison the entrance, shop and cafe areas felt a little unloved in comparison, but not overly so. If it got the same attention to detail then this place would easily get 5 stars.

Nestled in the heart of Bristol, the Bristol Museum & Art Gallery is a treasure trove for art and history enthusiasts alike. This cultural gem showcases an impressive collection that spans centuries and continents, featuring over 1,200 paintings and nearly 200 sculptures. Visitors can marvel at works from the Northern Renaissance to modern French art, alongside British masterpieces dating back to the 17th century.
When you enter the Bristol Museum, it’s like you’ve stepped into another dimension, with regard to time, science and species of organisms both old and modern. Science section is so beautiful, then the photo gallery section too was amazing. What baffles my mind was the guy who keeps on climbing onto the ladder, reaches above and then drops down, picks himself up and drops again in different locations on the ground. Students learning about rocks and its mineral components can learn a lot when the take a field trip there.

Beautiful art, plenty of fossils and beautiful history to look to. Their gender exhibition was lovely too. The only thing that was kind of surprising was the fact that the museum closes at 5PM. I know the staff works hard and they're knowledgeable but I wish it was open a bit later, especially on the weekend. I feel like if they had a ticket price on entry, they might compensate a few more people's time to provide knowledge to the curious folk past 5PM. I'LL DEFINITELY COME BACK THOUGH!!!

An amazing well maintained church, free entry. So many beautiful stained glass windows on every side. The organist was playing while I was there which showed off the amazing acoustics. Well worth a visit, make a donation after your visit.

This is a beautiful church, I had a good nosy around, and in the cellar if you go down the steps, you'll find a new cafe selling authentic homemade Chilean food, coffees and cakes. You won't be able to miss it because you'll do what I did and follow your nose, it smells divine! The beef empanada was beautiful, and it was so lovely to sit in the warmth and take in the surroundings. Really finished off my trip nicely.

A gorgeous place to visit, with lots of information about the history of the church and its attendants on boards around the building. The stained glass windows in particular are absolutely stunning. It’s free to enter, so do make a donation or buy something from the shop if you’re able to.

This is truly a beautiful church. Well worth a visit. It's even nicer than the cathedral tbh. Lovely volunteers there too

Beautiful church nestled in the heart of Bristol, well worth your time if you’re walking by this place. The gardens are well maintained and there’s plenty of material in the church itself to guide you through a visit.

Absolutely beautiful and spectacular place to visit, lots to see and plenty of history to read around the building

ST MARY REDCLIFFE, BRISTOL. This large church is often called the city's second cathedral, and though it immediately appears high Victorian gothic, its origins lie in the 14th century. The north porch is famed for its sculptures, 19th century on the outside and ancient within, including many showing a range of strange beasts, and it also has a 15th century roof. It was in a room above this roof that the story of Thomas Chatterton, the legendary but well-meaning forger, began when he found a chest full of antique manuscripts and decided to create some of his own, including new examples of Shakespeare. The church is full of memorials of all kinds, from simple slabs bearing tools of the deceased's trade to elaborate tombs with painted effigies. It is clear that Elizabeth I was much respected here, and her effigy, now fixed in an unusual stance on a wall atop a narrow base, is almost startling in appearance. The various restorations over the years have resulted in a huge number of antique pieces of sculpture arranged along the inner walls for the visitor to make a close study.

A beautiful church and apparently the favourite of Queen Elizabeth I. Links to the foundation of the USA and retain the armour of admiral William Penn. Links to Bristols place in seafaring history including the slave trade where those sold into bondage by their own people where trafficked.

Côte Quakers Friars is a modern French brasserie located in Clifton Village, offering a wide range of regional specialties and traditional classics. The restaurant is known for its delightful French culinary delights, including sea bream in indulgent sauce and succulent lamb roast with perfectly roasted vegetables. The staff at Côte Quakers Friars are friendly and attentive, providing efficient service to ensure guests feel welcome and well taken care of.
Had a very pleasant dinner here. The menu offers a great amount of choices, however, I think the Starters and Sharers could be marked better, as we weren't too sure which plates were appropriate to order as a sharing option. Also, the separate dessert menu did not have some of the desserts that appeared in the main menu. The food was very delicious, the calamari were probably the meatiest ones I've had in a long time, definitely give it a go. The French onion soup was great, and the mushroom cassoulet was extremely filling. The service was superb, the waiter had great charisma and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere itself was pretty good, I found some of the music played a little bit not fitting with the idea of the restaurant, perhaps. And at points the staff were just standing by the bar and it felt like we were being watched a lot, which felt a bit awkward personally. But all in all, had an amazing dinner here and definitely would come back again.

☕️ A well-priced breakfast/brunch menu with a great selection. The coffee was a good size, and the food was delicious
Serafima K — Google review
Sometimes — and I know this will offend the ‘small-plates-served-on-slates’ brigade — you just want to go somewhere nice, sit down, and have a good meal without the faff. No QR code menus, no foam, no bloke in a beard explaining the origin story of your butter. Just food. Hot. On a plate. With cutlery. Revolutionary, I know. That’s why, on a drizzly Thursday in Bristol, I found myself slipping into Côte like you might slip into an old pair of slippers. Not sexy, not Instagrammable, not likely to send the food bloggers into a froth, but warm, familiar, and bloody dependable. It’s like that same beach in Portugal you go to every year. Or the battered old book you re-read when the world gets too loud. Côte is the culinary equivalent of muscle memory. You know what you’re getting. You know you like it. And sometimes — especially when the alternative is limp Tesco meal deals or a cardboard wrap from Pret — that’s enough. More than enough. I was in and out in under an hour, which for a sit-down lunch involving slow-cooked meat and an actual conversation with a human being, is almost a miracle these days. The pork belly was everything you want pork belly to be — crisp on top, yielding beneath, like the world’s best crème brûlée with a PhD in pig. Served with potatoes dauphinoise so creamy you half-expect to need a defibrillator by dessert. This was not your standard Thursday lunch. This was Thursday gone rogue. The service? Snappy, polite, smiling. No performative theatrics, no one knelt down beside the table to introduce themselves as my “dining companion”. Just people doing a good job. Which, again, shouldn’t be exceptional, but these days it sort of is. And the price? For less than a tank of petrol or two cocktails in London, you get fed like a minor French aristocrat. Wine, mains, service — done. You leave full, happy, unchallenged, and slightly smug that you didn’t fall into the trap of “trying somewhere new” and ending up being force-fed burnt leeks in a reclaimed shipping container. Côte isn’t going to change your life. It won’t trend on TikTok. You won’t see it on the World’s 50 Best. But that’s the point. It’s unpretentious, consistent, French-ish comfort food done well in an age when everyone else is trying too hard. Well done, Côte. You’re still one of my favourites. Like those slippers. Not pretty, not loud. But always, always just right.

During our two-night stay in Bristol, we chose Côte Quakers Friars for one of our dinners—and let me tell you, we couldn’t be happier with our decision! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, and the experience only got better from there. First and foremost, a huge thank you to everyone in the kitchen. Their attention to detail, especially regarding allergens, was truly impressive. One of us has celiac disease, and Côte’s extensive menu made sure we had plenty of gluten-free options to choose from. We started with the Cheese Soufflé and Seared Scallops—both were excellent, but if we had to pick a favorite, the Cheese Soufflé would win hands down. We expected it to be heavy, but it was surprisingly light. For mains, we went with the Confit Duck à l’Orange, Sirloin Steak Deluxe, and Côte Burger (the burger is not gluten-free). All three were flavorful, but the duck and steak were outstanding—if you’re reading this and planning a visit, I’d highly recommend those! On the side, we ordered Crispy Confit Potatoes and Green Salad. The salad was so fresh and delicious that we all agreed—next time, everyone’s getting their own! And yes, there will be a next time for sure. Now, let’s talk about the real stars of the night: the desserts. Whatever you do, don’t leave without trying one (or all) of them! We indulged in the Passion Fruit & Lime Leaf Crème Brûlée, Crème Caramel Royal, and Chocolate Mousse—each was so divine that we couldn’t pick a favorite. In fact, we’ve already decided that next time, we’re ordering them all again! A special shoutout to the lovely lady who greeted us at the door and the gentleman who served us—both were incredibly friendly and professional. The service was top-notch, making the entire evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for amazing food, excellent service, and a dining experience that’s worth every penny, Côte Quakers Friars is the place to be. Don’t miss it!

I am always moved by care. From that point it is atmosphere and food and drink. Then I am impressed by the continued attentiveness of teams and staff. This is an exceptional place for me. Reliable, soothing and high quality. I always know what I am getting. Maddie was an exceptional host to us. Super on the ball and couldn’t do enough for us.

We had a lovely time at Côte Brasserie Bristol. Our server, Ika, was polite, helpful, and incredibly patient with my one-year-old. Nothing was too much trouble. The service really made our visit special, and we felt very welcome. Thank you for a great experience!

Lovely food. Miss the green beans though, which we always used to order not being overly keen on broccoli. Phil and his staff were very attentive. We’ll be back.

The food is exceptional, very good. The big problem was the service, waiters mainly uninterested in taking your order, are not attentive at all… it’s a shame because the food is really good but the service lefts you with a bitter aftertaste.

John Lewis & Partners is a well-regarded retail establishment that offers a wide range of home furnishings, accessories, electronics, fashion, and beauty products. It boasts an exceptional cafe where customers can enjoy delicious dishes such as savory pancakes prepared right before their eyes on a large pancake pan. The store also features an extensive craft section with reasonably priced items compared to other similar shops.
I made an appointment for a personal stylist, as I'm rubbish at clothes shopping and due to losing weight I needed a whole new interchangable wardrobe. Serena was great, had a rail of clothes and a few outfits hung up for me on my arrival and was constantly in and out of the personal area allocated to me fetching different sizes and styles. I left with 17 items and somewhat poorer, but happy with the service and now having good quality and well fitting clothes. Highly recommend!

Found an item in the sale online that was only available to collect from store. Website advised two in Cribbs. Drove 30 miles to store not holding out much hope but the service and systems were excellent. Was helped by the lovely Margaret and Tony on the ground floor to locate the required basket which was in a stock room. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The basket had been reduced from £50 to £15! Excellent service excellent staff and excellent bargain 10/10 Thank you.

I placed an online order on the John Lewis website and everything went smoothly at first – payment authorization was successful and I even received my order number. However, just 10 minutes later I got an email saying that my order was cancelled due to “security reasons,” without any proper explanation or even an apology. This happened on the day of the iPhone preorders, which made it even more frustrating. On top of that, the customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful. Very poor experience – definitely not recommended.

I bought a Philips Hue smart hue lighting control system. This is intended as a means of switching lights on and off remotely, for example when on holiday. The Bridge doesn’t connect to the internet. It should automatically connect with the Hue site. It doesn’t. It is therefore useless. It is impossible to talk to a human being on the phone at John Lewis, instead you need to go through a labyrinthine number of options. I tried live chat which ended with “ I’m not qualified to advise on this”. I attempted to call Hue technical services and was met with a message “our lines are closed and this call will be disconnected”. Technical support is non existent and attempting to get through to anyone at John Lewis is impossible. After many years as a customer of JL, that relationship has ended. Avoid this product as well because it is simply not fit for purpose.

We ordered a selection from Papadeli for our team celebration and everyone was very pleased and found it delicious. The brownies were the best some people had ever had! All communications with Louise were polite and friendly and swift in response. She was also very accommodating with making the order to our exact budget. Highly recommend for healthy and tasty treats

Papadeli catered for our wedding in the summer. The food was incredible and so many of our guests said it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. The staff were brilliant on the day - very friendly and professional. We had a lot of guests there and it all went very smoothly, thanks to the organisation of the staff. Lou was a delight to deal with in the lead up; she was really helpful, transparent about costs, and quick to respond to queries. We had canapés followed by the feasting menu and then evening food later on - all were excellent. The portions were very generous and we severely regretted not bringing containers for the leftovers - the food was so delicious! We would definitely recommend them as caterers.

Papadeli provided the lunch and snacks for our annual event, and they were absolutely exceptional! From the very beginning, their communication was clear, responsive, and incredibly helpful. The team showed such care and attention to detail in everything they did – from the beautifully presented food to the thoughtful way they catered to a wide range of dietary requirements. Everything was seamless on the day, and the food was just delicious – fresh, vibrant, and so well received by our guests. We had fantastic feedback! It was an absolute pleasure working with Papadeli, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. Thank you for helping make our event such a success!

Zara, a renowned Spanish fashion retailer, presents a captivating assortment of trendy garments, footwear, and accessories that draw inspiration from the runway. Situated in the prime location of Cabot Circus, this store showcases its stylish house-brand clothing collection. With spring apparel making its way into their inventory at present, customers can expect to find an array of fashionable options. Additionally, Zara introduces new fragrances to enhance one's personal style.
ZARA has always been one of my go-to fashion destinations, and for good reason. Their collections are consistently on-trend, offering a perfect mix of timeless classics and seasonal statement pieces. The quality of the fabrics and finishes is impressive, especially considering the reasonable price point. I also appreciate how quickly they refresh their ranges, meaning there’s always something new to discover whenever you pop in. The store layout makes browsing easy and enjoyable, with clear sections for different styles, and the staff are attentive without being intrusive – always ready to help with sizing or offer styling suggestions. Their online shopping experience is equally smooth, with fast delivery and straightforward returns.

I feel a bad shopping experience in ZARA today, a white women at reception leave without any explanation when it turns me to pay bills. Instead, she change the other one to serve customer. Even if it cannot prove it is a different treatment for other race , it does count an impolite behavior in service industry. My suggestion is not coming to this store if you are international students, unless you can accept discrimination. There is no way to provide bad service but still want to earn money from you.

Most awful staff experience. Brand and clothes are great however whilst trying on clothes in the upstairs fitting rooms, my changing room was emptied and belongings were left on the side including own clothes phone and wallet - I left the room for no longer than 30 seconds to show my partner something I was trying on. No staff member helped although 5 were stood doing nothing and all refused to deal with the situation. Puts me off shopping in the store.
Phoebe S — Google review
I consistently have great luck at this store. It's my first stop when I need a quick fashion fix or want to experiment with a new trend without breaking the bank. The styles are always current, and I appreciate that they offer a good range of sizes. I recently bought a blazer and a pair of tailored trousers here that look far more expensive than they were. The store is usually well-organized, and the checkout process is quick. While the quality can be hit-or-miss, you just have to be selective—check the seams and fabric content. For the price, it's absolutely fantastic. A solid 4.5 stars!
Freya R — Google review
Absolutely abysmal service, zero hygiene, and total lack of organisation. Stuff is all over the place. The perfume section is a bacterial infection incubator. Probably the worst Zara store that I have ever been to.
Margarita J — Google review
Have visited this Zara store in Cabot circus twice in the last month (unfortunately!) as I had to return an item I purchased. On both occasions the queue was absolutely ridiculous, not because they were selling loads but because both times the two staff on tills were PAINFULLY slow. I waited 18 mins in the queue this time (similar to last time, queue is always dire) only to have the most rude miserable woman serve me, zero eye contact, I couldn’t hear her mumbling when she did speak eventually so she barked at me, gave me a dirty look and practically threw the bag at me. Interestingly, on the previous visit I made, while I was being served by a man who also worked at the speed of a tortoise with no communication, the customer on the till next to me made a point of commenting how rude and slow the staff are. As the clothes are very average, the store is a mess and the staff are horrendous, I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Looking at the other reviews of this store, so will all the other shoppers who have visited. Terrible.
C. E — Google review
ZARA’s complicity with Israel’s regime of oppression runs deeper still. In October 2022, Joey Schwebel, chair of Trimera Brands, ZARA’s Israeli franchisee, hosted a campaign event at his home for far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. Ben-Gvir, who has openly called for the expulsion of Palestinians, the shooting of civilians, and the denial of humanitarian aid to Gaza, was cited in the International Court of Justice’s case, which found that Israel is plausibly committing genocide. Following the event, Ben-Gvir praised ZARA, tweeting: “ZARA, beautiful clothes, beautiful Israelis.”

Boots has truly outdone itself with its exceptional service, particularly from a standout team member who goes above and beyond. This isn't the first time I've experienced their remarkable customer care, but this individual is simply extraordinary! Her generosity and professionalism made my visit memorable. While I’ve had mixed experiences with other brands, Boots consistently shines in comparison.
Was served by a beautiful young asian girl on fragrance today and she was the best! Her customer service skills are amazing and she had the biggest smile too! A credit to boots for sure!! Thank you to her for helping me choose my new favourite fragrance.

I visited your pharmacy at approximately 12:20 today, August 5th, to pick up my medication. I was very displeased with the service I received from the young Asian lady who served me. She was very rude in her dealings, and I noticed she had previously served an elderly lady and treated her the same way. I recommend that she receive customer service training and learn to communicate in a professional setting.

Then three ladies and a man behind the counter, I still waited. Didn't even acknowledge I was there. Left and went home. Today, 07/09/3025 I received another text message saying that my prescription was still there to be collected. Boots did this the first time. Poor customer service, if you get any service at all. Won't be back.

No staff on shop floor. Only staff were those trying to sell smelly stuff. Couldn't find anyone to help find what I wanted so left empty handed. This is not the first time this has happened. Never been a fan of Boots and never will be. It's not just this store but all of them. Even when you do find a staff member for help it always seems too much for them to give good customer service. And before you do, don't expect me to phone your customer service about this issue. You should be reading these reviews and taking action not asking customers to further their anguish.

I stopped at Clinique counter to test their lipsticks while I was doing in front of their counter mirror , there was nobody and Asian Chinese staff was talking to her colleague and walking but as soon as she saw me she was stopped and looked up me strangely not just once a couple times so I asked her simple question why did she keep looking at me ? I felt uncomfortable and unpleasant since I was not doing anything in hidden or weird way . She was like no I am not looking up you and then , she talked to her colleague about me right in front of my face so I told them about what did happen? Her colleague told me this could be miscommunication and sorry so I accepted her saying and I said no worries and then I moved across their counter to see the mirror but she dragged security by was talking to him and pointed at me so I went in front of them asking what is happening since I saw you pointing at me ? She was like I was rude to her and asking like why did she looking at me ? Whole time , she was the one who was really rude toward me raising her voice , I told her don’t raise her voice and i can’t accept this type of rude behavior and attitude and I knew that Chinese staff can’t regulate nor control her emotions properly not just for professionalism so I talked to manger about how this was unacceptable service and behaviour of her. So I told manager that she can’t communicate properly and speak English really well so I knew I put it in wrong way but my intention was still right as I was pointed it out the truth as customer and the whole situation if she communicate me properly, this won’t gone further to this stage . All of them are like you can’t talk to her like that . Okay but they also witnessed that how she carried out her emotions and spoke toward me is acceptable??? I told them I can apologize to her if I put it in wrong way cuz I can take my responsibility but what I told was true as customer my experience and my opinions are valid and then she interrupted me with I am not their customer excuse me I was shopping at boots for long time compare to superdrug even though they are more cheaper. Only at that stage , her manager looked back at her , and told her something . But before that, the whole time while she was saying disrespectful stuff , she let her threw those words toward me. She said like she was not disputing your words , I were cautious about theft , but what did I do wrong here? I asked her to forward this case to take proper action but what she said was she will look up at CCTV and talked to her and gave training to her ??? She is far far away from acting professional at her job and only this ? I am telling she has lots of attitude or confidence like she was not bother of the outcomes of her actions !!! Manager told me they are not boots staff but they are Clinique staffs which I knew but they are also still working under boots right and I told her again about her actions since I felt that manager was not on my side as I was kept saying I was going circle and rushing up her sayings cuz I even have to asked her to let me spoke like what ?? so I was disbelief and disappointed about it and told her I can’t believe boots service is really low . I will never ever shop at boots ever again .

Good choice at reasonable prices. Store is generally well laid out. Late on a Sunday the fitting rooms seem to close early. Only the ground floor fitting rooms were open.

Fed up of waiting. Too many closed self-service tills, not enough team at other till. I want to support high-street but it's been like this all 3 recent visits.

It reopens today (Cabot circus) and there were good crowd. The staff are friendly, there are good selection of baby, toddler / young children clothings on the top level. There is a small corner for children - to colour on books and papers. Rmb to join member for discount.

Visited the store on Saturday and purchased a £17 jacket. Paid via Apple Pay and got the notification on my phone to tell me I had paid, as I was leaving the store the worker on the self checkout accused me of not paying for the jacket and saying the payment aborted. I went back to the tills where the man very rudely explained that their tills had been going down and payments had been being rejected! He then made me pay again, with a second payment coming out. He told me only one payment would go through. 4 days later, I have been charged twice, living no where near to Bristol I cannot come into store to show my receipt. Shocking behaviour, one to be accused of stealing and being spoken to like a child and two, letting customers pay on tills that are known to be faulty. I wonder how many other customers have been charged double amounts. We all work hard for our money and I’m sad that I’m now at a loss.

We had a great experience throughout our letting application process. Holly, our letting negotiator, was incredibly professional, approachable, and efficient at every stage. She made what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and straightforward. David, the tenancy manager, was equally professional, ensuring that all aspects of the tenancy setup were handled quickly and with ease. Communication was prompt, clear, and very helpful. Thanks to Holly and David, the entire application ran smoothly from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through the process. Highly recommend!

Great experience with Ryan as an agent. Fuss free, really helpful, quick with responses and most importantly helped to secure the rental property I was incredibly keen on. He also met me at the front of the property I was viewing before I could even let him know I'd arrived early! Highly recommend.

Great initial experience with this company. I met with Kat for a viewing who was very friendly and informative about the property. She invited questions and took landlord specific questions to them. After phoning up to move forward with an application, they returned a call within 5 minutes to say the landlord accepted and we could move forward, and 5 minutes after that I had an email detailed all the relevant information, as well as what is needed from me. Looking forward to working with them during my tenancy after a professional and friendly first experience.

Honestly the best massage I have ever had. Holly absolutely did it for me and my recently dislocated shoulders. She was very polite and professional. Very quick to understand my needs and adapt to them without having spoken previously about them. I used to have massages regularly as a professional fighter but not even close to how I felt after a massage with Holly.

I had a fabulous massage with Katy E yesterday - highly recommended. Katy listened & adjusted the pressure perfectly for me & worked on my head & shoulders in such an intuitive, flowing way that I felt incredibly relaxed. I left feeling rejuvenated & very peaceful. Katy worked fully for the whole hour using her arms & hands in strong, flowing movements all over my body - pure bliss! And many thanks, Katy :)

Had such a lovely 60 min massage this weekend with MT Katy E. Katy listened to everything I said and really took my requests into account during the massage. The entire staff were very good and responded quickly to my communications. My only note would be that I would have loved a place to sit for maybe 5-10 minutes after the massage, it was just a tiny bit jarring to finish then immediately have to leave and go out into the noise and sunshine. Took me out of the relaxed state I had been in. If I could give a 4.99 I would, but sadly I can’t. Thank you!

I had a Sports/Remedial massage with Indre, I had lots of upper body tension and had slightly pulled my lower back during weight training so wanted to work into those areas particularly. Indre was thorough in her assessment before we began and came across as very knowledgeable and properly cautious of any potential pain points. I was amazed at the massage, I’ve had maybe 5 or 6 other sports massages before and this was by far the best. At no point was it painful - which from my previous sports massage I had kind of assumed was the norm! - it was very deep tissue and targeted. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep half way through and woke up feeling deeply relaxed, rested and as though all the knots had been worked through. Indre gave me some helpful suggestions for stretching after weight training. I feel like a new woman today. I’ll definitely be back, such a lovely experience from the moment I booked to the massage itself. Thank you 🙏🏼

Fantastic service all round. Instructions before the appointment were very clear and easy to follow. Wonderful interaction to discuss how the massage would go and then the massage begins. I recently visited the Prior shop for the first time - and loved it! So many great items: locally-made, hand-made, individually designed. I bought a perfect Christmas gift and decided to order one of the Large Globe Bulbs online. I made a mistake when ordering but Beck and her colleagues sorted it out quickly and cheerfully: such great service, even at this busiest time of year. The item itself is beautiful - thanks Prior Shop.

My absolute go to for any birthday gifts, work leaving pressies or treats for myself. Everything is made my independent makers with sustainability at the heart of their work which makes anything you buy even more special. The shop team are so friendly, def have a chat to them about what they're trying to do in the middle of Cabot Circus surrounded by the global chain giants. You won't find mass produced poor quality in PRIOR. Give yourself plenty of time to spend looking at everything. I lose time in this place!

Their knowledgeable staff are always eager to help you find the perfect drink to suit your palate. High quality wines and beers make this independent shop well worth a visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering good recommendations. Wide range of wines at reasonable prices, but mostly from £9 upwards so not so good for a cheap bottle of plonk. Also has a wide range of lagers and beers including many local brands.

Had an order of 24 bottles put together and delivered to my flat. Excellent and friendly service. All the wines have been great so far

Truthfully one of the best pubs I’ve been in. The staff are fantastic and the food is brilliant. Me and my mum tried the Glamorganshire sausages. Could’ve had 12 portions. The beer is local, crisp and brilliant. If you come to Bristol you needs to come here!

A great range of wines, spirits, beers and coffee beans. Really knowledgeable, friendly staff. Happy to deliver cases of wine and create a case for you. Good value and much more interesting drinks than in the supermarket
Andy R — Google review
Nice selection but terrible customer service. Guy behind the counter was too busy chatting to his friends to even acknowledge our presence. Didn’t say a word to us, just dropped card machine on the counter and handed us our stuff
Craig S — Google review
Never been left wanting with wine bought here. Great advice on wines and a fantastic range of wines and drinks. Excellent service over a good few years since my daughter, fortunately, went to live near the shop. None better.
Michael H — Google review
Came in on 30.11 before going for lunch in a restaurant nearby with the intention to come after and buy some wine. The gentleman behind the counter did not even lifted his eyes to greet us let alone to offer any assistance with the choice. After lunch I came back to buy a few bottles and the attitude was the same - no greeting, no basic customer interaction. When I had to pay I presented my card on the screen of the machine but the gent just tapped with his finger on the top as the reader was there. No bye, have a nice day, enjoy the wines. ( no other people in the shop ). Anyway, looking at previous reviews maybe its just me expecting some sort of service when walking in a place like that. The prices were good, the wines were good but because of this attitude I will not be back. There are other merchants around Bristol and the area where the staff will be happy to greet you with a smile, speak with you and offer help with the choice ( which for me means more than a bottle of wine to be a few pounds cheaper ).
Dean G — Google review
It is always good to witness someone who is really good at what they do. The advice that Grape and Grind gives has been first class. They take time to understand what you want, what you enjoy and want to pay. It is a beautiful shop and really looks after you as a customer. I am now getting a box of wine every three months and each choice is a real winner. I highly recommend this wine merchant and the advice they give. Not at all pretentious and a real pleasure to deal with.

A standout offering is the fresh kefir made on-site by Hugo Sapsed, along with a selection of fresh pasta. The shop also hosts evening demonstrations featuring Bristol's talented chefs.
If you’re into fresh, super tasty produce with a Mediterranean vibe, this little fruit and veg shop is a real find. They’ve got a brilliant selection of fruit and veg that aren’t always easy to come by, and everything just bursts with flavour. Yes, the prices are a bit on the high side, but honestly, the quality makes up for it. The tomatoes are juicy, the oranges are sweet, and the greens are so crisp—it all tastes amazing. It’s the only place where I can find delicious Tortas de Aceite from my homeland!
Jaime R — Google review
I’m sorry to say that it is the messiest shop on North St and spreads itself out on to the pavement and multiple parking spaces daily. A real eye sore and awkward to navigate past with a pushchair. I would not buy food and eat what I had seen on the floor and in the road, especially at those prices. The owner is parked up on double yellows and their shop van or hire van can be seen taking up multiple spaces while they spend hours allegedly unloading. As a local I see it as a real let down on the surrounding shops. Imagine if all the shops spilled out in this way it would be chaos!
Chris D — Google review
Really disappointed. There's usually such a lovely flower selection, but the bouquet I bought was overpriced and had very poor quality. On top of that the customer service was awful.
Ama — Google review
I bought an overpriced burrata a few days ago (over £5 for a small 250g burrata) and to my great disappointment it was acidic/ sour and it was not creamy inside, as it is supposed to be but lumpy and dry. Unfortunately, I only realised it when I had already put in a rather elaborate dish of pasta otherwise, I would have certainly taken it back to the store. Needless to say my dish was ruined. I am leaving a 2 star review not only for this poor experience I had, but because their products are way overpriced.
Gabriella F — Google review
The staff are lovely however that is where the positives end. Eg: A Too Good To Go box, which yes is things that needed to sell that day and haven't so you expect a lower standard, but should be too good to be binned - this box was split, completely wilted, rotting produce which should have been binned throughout the day. It concerns me what is going on in the day to day activity to try and increase profit with a lack of concern for what's going out.
Katy J — Google review
I love the product quality, a bit overpriced comparing to Tobacco Factory shop or Better Foodo but well, you can also find different things at Hugo's. BUT Every time I buy there, really, ALWAYS, I am charged more than the labels mark, and as example today: I needed tomato for cooking, the beef tomatoes were ripe but the price £4'50 kg, so all good then, I picked a big one. When I went to pay I was pending on the grams for my previous experience. The tomato was around 300grams and they guys said that it was £2'5.. I said, but the label marks £4'50, why is £2'5? Is answer was: 'oh sorry, I forgot to put the label for those tomatoes, that price is for the tomatoes next to beef ones'. The label said 'Beef tomatoes'!! Come one! You think people are silly and don't know what is a beef tomato? Is upsetting what they do.. because the fruits and vegs are good but doing these things...

Bristol's own Loot Vintage sells high-quality, vintage clothing from all over Europe. The store features stylish, one-of-a-kind pieces in good condition, with a focus on retro streetwear and reworked styles.
Visited today during a work trip to Bristol I can honestly say this was a unique experience. Tonnes of interesting vintage clothes to look through and pay by weight, which means you can get some real value for money. Every staff member was attentive and friendly, they explained how their system worked, and were available to answer any questions throughout my experience. 3 different staff members greeted/asked how I was without feeling pushy or overbearing, just comfortable and welcoming. No plastic bags provided, which I am very much on board with. Conscious about the environment, friendly, unique and so much fun. I was asked to sign up to the mailing list, which I accepted, and was asked to provide my preferred pronouns, which I thought was very sensitive and accommodating. I cant recommend this shopping experience more highly. An absolute must visit for anybody into vintage, recycled and reused clothing. Lovely people with a lovely mission! Next time I'm back in Bristol, I will 100% be returning. Thanks!

Stopped in a week ago and bought a new shirt. The clothing all through the shop looked to be good quality, the window display was attention grabbing and really well put together, the music in the shop itself was audible without being overwhelming, and the whole place was well lit so you could see what everything looks like properly. The staff were also really easy to approach and talk to as well. I'd absolutely think about going back again in the future to get more!

Such a special and interesting experience. I came with friends to blow a bauble. We spent ages looking at the wonderful selection of glass pieces before having a go at making a bauble. Obviously, the artisans do 90% of the work, but it's so much fun, and they are really knowledgeable and engaging. We loved our time there and have a special bauble to cherish. The experience was certainly worth it. I would recommend it to anyone.

I approached Bristol Blue Glass looking for 4 custom memorial pieces; two palm stones of different sizes, and two small beads that will be made in to rings. They were prompt and compassionate throughout the whole process and very flexible with my requests. I ended up choosing to not include the dichroic glass pieces and chose the clear teal colour, they ended up looking like miniature oceans, so beautiful. Georgina was very kind when I visited the studio showing me the process and what would happen with the ashes, and they were very accommodating for me dropping them off in person. I couldn't recommend this service enough, thank you so much!

This lovely glass making shop, where you can make your own glass bauble or watch things being skillfully made in the workshop, has a wide ranging selection from tiny glass animals to large jugs and vases. Glassmaking explained in detail and questions answered. Very friendly including the neighbours cat that likes to hang around in the heat from the furnaces.

Bought the wrong size by mistake and they refunded no problem, really appreciate that good shop!

I tried to return an Item but Steve the MD is a totally unreasonable man. I was met with a stone wall. He managed to wriggle out of taking an item back by complaining that it wasn't in original condition when it clearly was. He just wanted to keep his sale and totally failed to make a long time customer happy or stick to his legal obligation. Not a nice experience at all.. Looking at the other reviews, there seems to be a trend here.. Furthermore, the store can't even open on time. They seem to make so much money from their over priced products that they don't care about service.
Kegan M — Google review
Avoid this store- Really disappointing experience. Ordered a pair of trainers from Cooshti , they arrived with a stain. I sent them back (at my own cost) and asked for a refund. Heard nothing back, so I chased it up and was told they’d processed it. That was over 20 days ago, still no refund, no email confirmation and nothing showing in my bank of such refund pending. They blame a “new system,” but there’s zero evidence of any refund being made and my calls to the manager were never returned. It’s a shame because I like to support independent stores. Looking at other reviews, it seems I’m not alone. Save yourself the hassle — shop elsewhere.
Rae — Google review
Terrible experience shopping with this outfit, used Royal Mail to dump their parcel on my doorstep during the day which subsequently went missing after being left in full view for the majority of my working day. Once I contacted Cooshti I had to wait for someone with authority to contact me which became frustrating and I contacted my card issuer as they were messing me around. Then they had the audacity to challenge my card issuers refund, which I can only think that they want to frustrate me obtaining my refund which is totally disgusting. Avoid this clown shop at all costs 🤡

Super slow to follow up, been trying to get my refund processed for weeks. Called their office and they said this would be done and then silence, zero follow ups.

On a quiet Saturday morning, I Bought a lovely bag that had an upper price point. Unfortunately the two people working had a laxadasical, unfriendly attitude, presenting rudely with zero manners and poor customer service. The young man behind the main desk till threw down my new bag, and when I said I hoped it wasn't scratched, he scoffed at me and didn't say sorry, flung the receipt at me and didn't say thank-you after I paid. Very disappointing when this shop has been here for years. I used to work in retail so I understand the challenges the public can bring you but I was polite from outset and expecting the very least courteous responses in return. What a shame.

After buying from them many times (spending alot of money!) I contacted them when the stitching on a pair of sweatpants was undoing on both pockets. I requested a refund or exchange but they refused as I reported the issue on 21st March and had purchased in November. Going over the 12 week return time. I did comment that they were a Christmas present so hadn't been worn for long but they were not interested. They said I could return for repair or have a refund of £18 towards repair costs. I requested the refund and haven't heard from them since. They have previously only responded to my chaser emails. They have lost a customer but , unfortunately, I don't think they're bothered.

The Bristol branch is a bright and well laid out store. The products are vast and enticing. A big and heartfelt shout out to Ethan. His demeanor was calm and well informed. I explained that I was recovering from a life changing illness and had lost my confidence in deciding on my choices, but that i am embracing the opportunity to explore changes in clothing and styles. I love the the Carhartt brand and cuts. To have had Ethan guide me was an exceptional retail experience . Thank you !

You can also find Sinead Finnegan's intricate found-fabric embroideries and Robyn Coetzee's stunning kiln-formed glass pieces.
Lovely store with lots of interesting and beautiful items, the staff are always very kind and helpful, I always visit when I come to Bristol! Very worth visiting if you’re in the area, you’ll definitely find something you’ll love!

Tastefully laid out independent little shop with a great array of interesting quality products, including nods to Bristol here and there which is nice to see. I’ve made a couple of purchases now, both times served by the same lady who was friendly and interested in her customers so worth a couple of minutes of my time to review. If I say ‘Socks’ you know who you are! They also have a much larger and equally well presented shop in central Bristol which I’d also recommend visiting.

Brilliant shop with an amazing ethos! The owner is really lovely and we had a conversation about the arts and how undervalued they are. The products are gorgeous, there are a wide variety of products to look at, definitely a shop to visit when you need a gift for someone! I recommend visiting here! Oh and very wheelchair accessible! I looked around here with ease in my wheelchair!

My experience at the bristol store today will always be treasured. I walked in looking to treat myself following a operation for a cochlear which has been very difficult. I was browsing the jewelry and the man behind the til, opened the glass cabinet for me and started to sign! Bsl. I am not fluent myself but it was a wonderful moment of someone genuinely making effort to interact with me to discuss the gorgeous items I was looking at. He gave me some lovely info- all with droplets of BSl and a genuinely lovely intention of sharing the products. I was so touched. I then thought wow lovely guy .. went to the back of the store where working away were two other colleagues.. they both spoke to me about things I was looking at and managed to find an item I requested that wasn't on shop floor! Honestly it was just the best experience all day. I felt appreciated as a customer and I shall treasure my purchases both in shop and online and will be a loyal customer now. Thank you for making my day of beeps brighter x

Tea house
Nestled in the heart of Bristol, Cox & Baloney is a charming vintage-style tea room that offers a delightful blend of lunches, afternoon teas, and evening cocktails. The creative minds behind this unique spot, Amy Cox and Joney McNamara, have transitioned from sourcing props for television shows to curating an eclectic collection of vintage clothing and homewares. Their offerings include bespoke items like 1940s dress patterns crafted from modern fabrics and exquisite bone china designed with original lithographs.
Such a lovely place for afternoon tea and staff are so friendly, even in stressful situations! It was super busy because a big group came in unannounced - and because we had to wait for our food they offered us free cake in the meantime. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent location :)

Lovely selection of teas, sandwiches and cakes. Cater to vegetarian/vegans and GF. Great afternoon treat!
Georgie R — Google review
This was my second visit but I was so disappointed. First visit was fabulous but after this visit I won't be visiting again. I was with my family in a party of five. Three of us ordered Lilly's afternoon tea. When it arrived we assumed it was for two of us but we're told it was between three of us. Although there were 5 triangles of sandwiches each, the fillings were sparce, not very exciting and very predictable, two being cheese, one ham, one egg and one tuna. There was one scone each which was very cake-like with plenty of jam and cream. The biggest disappointment for all of us were the cakes on the top layer. Last time we came we had delicious whole slices of cakes and some whole tarts. This time it was very small bite size pieces of cake and a small square tray bake and only three each. For the price we paid we felt let down. I did recommend Cox and Baloney to a friend before my visit but now i will not be recommending especially when there are so many other venues for afternoon tea which offer better value for money. The vintage shop next door has also now gone. What a shame. Reading the other reviews, I am not alone in my disappointment with the cakes. Come on Cox and Baloney, you can do better than this.
Susan F — Google review
I love going to Cox and Baloney's and today I took my children for afternoon tea. We felt quite spoilt with the level of attentiveness, it's not easy to please an eight year old boy and two seventeen year old young ladies when it comes to a place to eat! There was a great selection of drinks, sandwiches and cakes which were beautifully presented. My daughters are very impressed with the decor, as am I. When we left all three of my children asked when we are going back! Five stars from the Woods family!
E W — Google review
This is a posh yet welcoming and stunningly beautiful tearoom. It posesseses a quaint and kitsch atmosphere with effectively selected music. The staff are over the top with their friendliness, but this is not necessarily a bad thing; the teaware is cute and so far on my visits I've enjoyed delicious olives, a lovely selection of bread, a tasty toastie and crisps. They're always extremely busy so a booking is recommended if you want anything more than tea on the weekend. Cox impress with their individualised table service - I was even invited to smell the teas before ordering so I could be doubly sure about my choice. There are plenty of waiting and kitchen staff (the kitchen is open by the way), and they do well to cope with the stressfully large amount of customers. There is also a private party room downstairs which seems quite popular, and some outdoor seating. Prices are slightly above the average but not pretentiously extravagant. I would recommend this establishment.
Stefan K — Google review
The venue is lovely and a novelty for sure. The service however is much to be desired. I've visited twice, once with my Mum and once with friends. When I went with my Mum there was about 3 other people in the entire cafe and we waited for around 40mins for the high tea to arrive... we were pleased when it did and the food was lovely. When we asked for the bill we ended up going to the till as it seemed to completely slipped through the net and we were on a bit of a schedule. When I visited with friends we waited about 30 mins for our drinks to arrive and then we ordered food. This was a 40-50 minute wait, we asked to share 1 mezze plate and then 2 arrived and it had 2-3 items missing from what was advertised on the menu so we had to send it back. Following this we asked for cream teas and this took another 20-30minutes. When the bill arrived we were charged for 2 mezze plates due to a mis-communication between staff and there was a slight confusion on what had happened so that was another 10 minutes delay. To round it off one of the cards was charged £10 more than what was the equal split on the bill, which was specified to the waitress (though she was very apologetic and it was clearly a human error). The novelty of the venue and the quirky cocktails in a teapot is the best thing about this place. The food also is very good, but the service is its biggest let down.... if you have time to kill (i.e an entire afternoon) I would highly recommend but if having a 'express lunch' would avoid.
Sabrina S — Google review
I don't normally do reviews but felt compelled to on this occasion because of the very slow service. Cox and Baloney have a lovely set up on Cheltenham Road, I like the quirky interior and the idea of tea and cake served in an old fashioned way. Lots of choices of tea, "Lady's garden" made me chuckle and lots of cakes to choose from. We were a large party of 12 and most of us had pre-ordered over the phone so we thought things would run smoothly and that our orders might have been prepared in advance. However our orders came out in dribs and drabs very slowly. My cheese plater eventually arrived a long time after my pot of tea, this was 3 reasonable sized chunks of cheese, salad and chutney but no crackers. I checked the menu to find that the platter would eventually be accompanied by toast, this is different to the website that mentioned crackers!! Crackers would have been better and easier to prepare and serve, perhaps a time saving tip for the manager. Never had a cheese plater with toast before or had to wait so long I also noticed toast going to other tables who had arrived after us. Another person on our table asked for a cream tea, after a long wait came the tea, then after a long wait came the scone, then after a long wait came the cream then after a long wait came the jam. Exasperating!! The waiter and waitress were nice enough but they had too much to do and were disorganised. One of my friends sorted out the bill so I am not sure if the scone and tea that I was not charged for were on the house as a way of apology or just disorganisation again and I hope we didn't pay the service charge. So in summary the service was so poor and the wait was so long that I will not be going back. There are plenty more coffee shops to try, might try a brewery or a brothel to see if they are more organised:)

Simply wonderful experience. Such a calm atmosphere in which to browse away an hour. I could have stayed all day. Lovely welcoming sofa to sample a page or two of a potential purchase. Excellent selection of stuff which has clearly been thoughtfully hand picked for the shelves. Shops like this need to be supported. Downstairs in this retro clothes shop is yet another one of Gloucester Road's great little record shops. Just like the best type of book shop, this record shop has made use of absolutely every flat surface including boxes on the floor. Space is limited in here and it only takes half a dozen people to make it seem crowded, but I have found some absolute gems in here, in excellent condition at prices that made me happy. :-)

Great constantly changing stock in both the clothing and the Record shop downstairs, friendly and helpful staff willing to go the extra mile for you if it's within reason! ) Been shopping here for over a decade and while keeping fresh and interesting it hasn't changed the feel or eye for quality stock. Lovely selection of (lesser known) designer brands and friendly knowledgeable staff. They lose points however for not carrying any sizes smaller than medium in their menswear collection. Lovely store but quite underwhelmed with my last purchase. I bought a lemon grass room spray for £12 but its basically useless as the smell dissolves after the initial sprays that would linger for ab 10 seconds max. I could've spent the same on a yankee candle and gotten a lot more out of it. I feel scammed.

Rag Trade Boutique offers a solution to the common problem of having a full wardrobe but feeling like there's nothing to wear. The boutique provides designer women's clothing at reduced prices by allowing customers to sell directly to the store and receive cash or store credit in return. Unlike typical vintage stores, Rag Trade Boutique exudes a high-end atmosphere with its carefully curated selection of lightly-worn items from brands like Whistles, Jigsaw, All Saints, and Vivienne Westwood.
This is a fabulous shop with a strong green ethos (people buying, trading and selling excellent quality preloved clothes, shoes and accessories) I have been going to Rag Trade both to sell and buy clothes for years now and could not recommend more highly. I visited this boutique with my small, well-behaved dachshund, and unfortunately, as soon as I stepped in, I was told quite abruptly that dogs are not allowed. There was no sign indicating this policy, which could save customers the inconvenience. It’s disappointing because I was ready to purchase a pair of boots that I had seen in the window, and I believe they’re missing out on potential customers, especially in a dog-friendly city like Bristol. Hopefully, they’ll consider updating their policies or at least making them clear to future visitors.

Another successful visit to Rag Trade. I love the additions to my wardrobe, with labels and ideas I will use and reuse. Plus... I get to recycle items from my wardrobe. All done with a warm, friendly catch up. Sustainability at its best. Love it!

I’ve frequented this shop for over 4 years, sometimes with my dog and sometimes without. Everyone has always welcomed him. He’s old, well behaved and groomed - never had any issues with him coming in. I popped in (as I do when visiting my grandmother in Cotham) and a woman said “so sorry we don’t allow dogs” in a frantic and quite snobby way. My suggestion? Put a sign up and make sure your employees know you don’t allow dogs - otherwise you just look rude.

This is a lovely shop. And a lovely knowledgeable welcoming proprietor. Worth a visit and you can pick up some amazing bargains.
