Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
Cathay Rendezvous is a unique dining spot located in a former Georgian library on a charming cobbled street. The restaurant offers a blend of traditional Chinese cuisine with modern twists, featuring Mandarin, Szechuan, and Cantonese dishes. The menu showcases a variety of starters like vegetarian spring rolls, dim sum, satay skewers, and barbecue spare ribs. For the main course, guests can enjoy classic meat and seafood dishes prepared with fresh ingredients.
Me and my partners favourite Chinese in Bristol. Always make you feel very welcome and the food is always excellent with plenty to take home after. Will definitely keep returning here
Tom H — Google review
Ordered the set meal for 2, which ended up being delicious and very filling. A great environment to dine in, but unfortunately felt that the staff were under resourced. We were often left to our own devices with little to no staff service. In the end our food came over an hour after ordering!
Rothmans101 — Google review
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Cathy Rendezvous. I ordered a delivery, and the chicken in my meal was very undercooked to the point of being raw. This is completely unacceptable, as consuming raw chicken poses serious health risks. The quality control and food safety standards at this restaurant clearly need significant improvement. I expected much better, especially for the price. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
Gordon X — Google review
If I could give this a zero I would. I have received an order through uber eats which has given me raw chicken claws amongst my order instead of fried chicken breast in honey sauce. Looking at them makes me feel sick so I can’t even eat the other items. And yet i am only being refunded for the chicken dish. For further help I am referred back to Cathy rendezvous but can only get an automated message referring me to website hence the review. Had I been able to talk to someone and got the full refund requested this could have been avoided.
Helen C — Google review
Whilst the service and quality of food were of an acceptable standard, the value for money was significantly poor with extremely small portions compared to both previous visits at this establishment and other restaurants. My Main Course was more like a Starter in terms of food quality and nutrition with there being very little meat in what was described on the menu as a Steak Fillet dish. I also felt that the drinks provided were of low quality. I ordered a Coconut water which came in a can and was largely sugar. I would expect better at a restaurant of this calibre.
Matthew P — Google review
I visited Cathay Rendezvous with a group of blind people in July. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and were very friendly and helpful. They happily assembled the duck pancakes for one of us as requested. The food was great and the waitress even walked with one of us to the Uber pick up point around the corner. The best customer service I’ve seen in a long time!
Wayne M — Google review
We had an amazing dinner when we visited Cathay Rendezvous. After ordering, the food arrived really quickly and all the different dishes tasted extremely well! Duck, spring rolls, lemon chicken, sweet and sour all of them were perfect! Staff were extremely kind and helpful, they also always smiled and were really positive. A small note for the restaurant; After having finished our dinner, it seemed like we were forgotten. We had to ask couple of times for dessert menus and for someone to help clear our table before the dessert came. It seemed like our last 40mins in the restaurant were spend trying to order dessert and then wait for it to arrive. When we were done, we then walked to the entrance to pay our bill to avoid any further delays.
Chrysanthos ( — Google review
I don't like leaving poor reviews but this is the experience we had. When our food arrived I pointed out to the waitress that I thought the char sui pork came with bean sprouts, that is what it said on the menu. She told me they don't do the bean sprouts any longer, so I pointed out what it said on the menu. She 'went to check' then steadfastly refused to make eye contact with me until we were leaving. They didn't charge us for the meal but that's not really the point. Some communication would have been nice.

Chinese takeaway
Hao Wei is a family-owned takeaway restaurant and bistro located in Bristol, United Kingdom. It offers a wide selection of classic Chinese dishes and Vietnamese pho in a modern setting adorned with a landscape wall mural. With over 130 menu items to choose from, the restaurant aims to serve delicious Oriental cuisine, providing options ranging from traditional Chinese takeout favorites to 'home-cooked' dishes and Vietnamese noodles.
I’m not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food, but my partner loves it, so we gave Hao Wei a try, and I’m so glad we did. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh, and seriously satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s now become a firm favourite for us and part of our go-to hangover cure routine. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if Chinese isn’t normally your first choice, you might be surprised like I was!

We came for the Wednesday family meal, and it was amazing. Loads of lovely, delicious food, great service. Had the crispy chicken, crispy duck pancakes, crispy lamb, sweet and sour, mixed meat in black bean sauce, crispy noodles, jasmine tea, and rice.
Calum L — Google review
We went there for dinner after recommendation from our friends. I must say it was one of the best Chinese we had. Food was amazing and staff was very courteous and friendly. We would definitely come back again.
Vinayak P — Google review
I was really excited to try here as a Coeliac who hasn't had a Chinese in a year since being diagnosed; but unfortunately the food was such a let down. The atmosphere was good and bustling. Both ladies serving were nice. You order off a QR code (i know lots of places do this now, not my favourite, it feels so impersonal to me :( I had the GF chop suey which looked insipid and tasted it too. The sauce was a very odd consistency and so unbelievably bland. The egg fried rice was nice. My friend had the non GF crispy beef and said it was okay, but also didn't taste of much. This dish was listed as having a GFO and when I asked one of the waitresses what was the GFO, she said Im not 100% sure but I assume its a different sauce. Not exactly reassuring. When asked if the meal was ok to be honest I said yes because I'd waited all day for my food and so did eat it all. The meal was ended with the waitress giving the bill and saying 'it does not include a service charge'. Which was an odd thing to highlight. Almost £10 for egg fried rice seems pretty high. Unfortunately I've also been on the toilet numerous times today unwell.

We have been here a few times for dinner as a family and all the time food was on the spot. They have a good range of food options from starter to dessert. However, some of the desserts are out of stock most of the time. Service is okay, but could have been better. Overall it's a good place with good service. Pros: Price, Food Cons: Seating, Service

I am coeliac and haven’t been able to have a Chinese takeaway for a long time. When visiting my sister we found out about Hao Wei, yesterday evening we thought we would give it a go and wow we were not disappointed. I went in person to order so I could check to make sure things would be safe for me to eat (so many GF options available - wanted to check cross contamination etc) the young girl who I first spoke to wasn’t able to answer my questions but quickly found a member of staff who was able to answer all my questions and offer other menu options that weren’t specified on the menu. The food was 10/10 it was so lovely to enjoy a takeaway with my family without feeling like I was eating GF! Thank you Hao Wei! Would recommended 100%!
Rachel H — Google review
Hit or miss food. Fried squid was tasty but Egg fried rice didn’t even taste freshly fried which is such a red flag. Ready in 10 minutes, 3 dishes tasted like cornflour/potato starch and stock. No ‘Chinese’ flavours here. Kind of satisfying at least some of it but could just be so much better. Good for gluten free people.
Murray H — Google review
First time in the restaurant - take away. Great atmosphere and lovely decor. Prompt service at the counter and waiting area is secluded from main dining area. Food was brought to me very quickly and it was all delicious and looked great. Definitely recommend this place for a take-away and we’ll be back to dine-in.

Chinese restaurant
Mayflower Chinese Restaurant (五月花菜館) is a long-standing establishment in the heart of Bristol, offering a Cantonese menu until 3am. Despite its location nestled between the bus station and the Bear pit, this restaurant is known for serving some of the best Chinese cuisine in Bristol. The extensive menu caters to a wide range of tastes, from traditional dishes to more adventurous options, attracting not only locals but also Chinese families from across the region.
Had a great experience at Mayflower today. The food was very good with authentic Cantonese flavour and a wide variety on the menu. The place looks newly renovated—clean and tidy. It was really full, and we had to share a big round table with others, but I didn’t mind. Definitely worth a visit!

The first receptionist informed me that I had one hour to dine since I didn’t have a reservation. I was seated at a large table. I ordered two dishes: crispy noodle with beef and a quarter Peking duck. The prices were quite reasonable, especially considering it’s in the UK. The food arrived quickly and was served hot, which I appreciated. They offered free hot jasmine tea and chilled water, which I really liked. Later, another staff member came by and told me there was no need to rush, which made me feel much more relaxed, especially since I had been eating in quite a hurry.
Wasu Y — Google review
The restaurant is huge & absolutely stunning! We went for: 🔹Three roasties 🔹Chicken chow mein 🔹Sweet & sour Chicken balls 🔹Salt & chilli ribs 🔹Sizzling canton pork chop 🔹Prawn crackers It was all incredible but the highlight for me had to be the three roasties meat and the chicken chow mein! ❤️
Paris C — Google review
Food overall is bad and portions are tiny. Picture 1 and 2: Roast duck came cold and some pieces were raw. Server offered to microwave the duck, which is laughable. We were compensated with a duck leg, which was not even cut up into pieces. Picture 3: Mayflower signature rice, it was just unappetising. White rice covered in a boring sauce. Picture 4: Black pepper beef, £20. Contained 8 slices, so that is £2.50 per slice. Taste was okay. This restaurant used to serve up much better food, it has gone downhill since they moved to the new location. Very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food, I do not recommend it to anyone. £20 per person, none of us walked out full.
Faith L — Google review
Chewing pork chops and the beef brisket are like chewing bubble gum. After eat the fried squid, sore throat for a week. But the waiter(Gary) who served us was really friendly, and we hung out afterward.
Linus N — Google review
Overpriced mid food. Service is noticeably bad, rude waiters whom lack decency, very chaotic at times, I waited over an hour for a dish and was supremely dissatisfied when it arrived, I'm sure they missed it but claimed it was cooking time, they called me when I was sat in the restaurant at my table asking me where I was and honestly just go nice spice instead. No worth your time or money
Tye B — Google review
Went to this restaurant three times the first time was to make a reservation and was met with an old gentleman on the bar who was hard to communicate with and was very rude in tone while taking reservation i was with my girlfriend so did not respond anything to it but was told i would get the table i wanted by the glass facing outside and was told it would be fine and would get it but when we came the next day the table we requested was taken along the same line and were seated in an uncomfortable table of four which was too big to converse in and enjoy the food so eventually had to sit adjacent rather than opposite and found the same gentleman in the bar and was not very easy to talk with the lady who serves us was nice but no checkbacks were done we were not once checked upon to ask about the food or if we wanted anything but to clear the plates before we finished we had reached at 10.50pm and the restaurant closes at 12 but we werent asked for any dessert or drinks refill or the chilli oil refills neither of us were told about last orders being at 11.30 so we assumed we would be told for desserts eventually a different lady came to our table and handed the takeaway boxes to us to pack uo and leave . Very unprofessional but my girlfriend loved the egg rice and she wanted to have the chopsticks but were refused. One of the nicest Chinese restaurants ive been to ruined by terrible service and closing time atrosities. Had been waiting till august 25 for them to reopen so we could check it out after hearing good comments on the food but walking into a disastrous and disappointing service. Went for the third time to get the egg rice my girlfriend loved and had a chat to the manager nice guy gave us a lot of recommendations on the food but me returning to the restaurant after having such an awful experience are slim to none on a dining maybe take aways so i dont have to deal with the rude old gentleman in the bar. Thanks for giving us a very amazing dining experience on our anniversary Kudos to the team

With a focus on casseroles, the restaurant provides vegan options and lunch deals starting at 6.80, making it ideal for quick work lunches.
Authentic home food. £15 for a BIG pot of soup and noodles that I can’t even finish it by myself Spicy fish soup with potato noodles are HIGHLY recommended. Rice goes just as well too! Cozy environment for a big warm meal especially in cold weather. Highly recommend!

I had braised pork belly with rice, absolutely delicious! The pork was tender and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and savory taste. The sauce soaked perfectly into the rice, making every bite satisfying. Definitely a dish I’d recommend and come back for!
Gina W — Google review
I went here for lunch for my birthday and it was excellent. I had the spicy fish cooking pot and the fish was the best I’ve had in a long time! I’m fairly picky when it comes to fish so I don’t order it a lot but I’m so pleased I took the risk because this was melt in your mouth white fish. There was no ‘fishy’ taste it was very fresh and tasty. I also loved the stuffed animals they had and the fresh flowers. I definitely recommend eating here I was very impressed!

Lovely staff. Paid £43 for a starter, 2 soft drinks and 2 x very generous hot pots with a side of thick Noodles. Very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Abolute gem of a place.

Fabulous! Splendid! That’s exactly the taste I have had back in China!! Feel super satisfactory and warm especially having a steaming cooking pot in the wet and cold windy day for me. The ribs are cooked literally very authentic with Chinese pickled cabbages. This is my favourite dish, Pork ribs and pickled Cabbage. Hope this restaurant can get better and better to make this Chinese delicacy spreading to more people😋

Ha Jiang Mian was served hot. Noodles can be firmer but it’s ok. Minced Pork mixed with chinese dry mushroom was also good. Beef hotpot taste is light not heavy in clean soup.

The hot and sour soup base was very traditional, the amount of ingredients given was also very generous. It was overall a great experience with the ac operating!!

Stumbled open this little restaurant by accident taking shelter from the rain and wow wow was it good. I'm a vegan so I got the szechuan vegetable hot pot and it was incredible, very flavoursome and szechuan flavour profile was on point! Definitely will be coming back again. Price wise it was great value!

Rock Salt is a charming restaurant located in Bristol, offering a fusion of Chinese and Indian cuisines. The restaurant was established by co-founders Harris Massey and former Dhamaka chef Kedar Subedi, who bring together their expertise to create a unique dining experience. The menu features a delightful combination of dishes such as sweet and sour chicken alongside the signature lamb raan.
Fantastic meal. A real step up over your normal Indian or Chinese. You could taste every flavour of every dish. Everything looked amazing, smelt amazing and tasted amazing. All the food come out very quickly and was all piping hot, very very hot! The staff were great. Always checking everything was ok. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting Indian or Chinese cuisine. We were just upset that we couldn’t try more of the dishes as we were so full from what we had.

From the minute we were welcomed in , without a reservation, to the minute we left, it was an amazing experience. I always think it’s a special restaurant when you can’t make the same thing at home, and the food we ordered was perfection. The menu is so well thought out and the drinks , even though we chose the non alcoholic ones (they do have alcoholic beverages) were so delicious. The service was top notch and everyone who worked there seemed to be happy to be there which is an important thing when dining anywhere. The people that bring you your food and cook your food have vibes that make for the overall experience and I must say it was a top notch experience and great food.

Great fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine. We had the salt and pepper prawns and onion bhaji to start which were delicious. I highly recommend the Szechuan pork and the chicken chow mein received a glowing reception too. The pomegranate margarita was unreal too. Big shout out to Ned, our waiter who was really helpful.

Everything about this restaurant was exceptional — from the warm and inviting atmosphere to the perfectly curated music that set the mood. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience feel special. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented, flavorful, and served in generous portions. I especially loved the drinks; they were refreshing, well-balanced, and complemented the meal perfectly. I truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.”

Excellent food, great atmosphere, top service . The food is a nice fusion of Indian and Chinese dishes. My wife is a huge dim sum fan and said the dim sum here was amazing. We also tried the Chilli Paneer, Onion Bhaji’s, Pak Choi, Chicken noodles & Popadum. All were tasty and well cooked.

Excellent food, so very tasty and flavourful. The Peshwari naan was so amazing that we had to order an extra portion. Restaurant
Wong's Restaurant is a delightful gem that captures the essence of traditional Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine, all set within an inviting dark wood interior adorned with intricate fretwork screens and charming lanterns. Established in 2012 by Annie Wong, a celebrated winner of the BBC Chinese food competition, this restaurant offers not only a variety of authentic dishes but also caters to vegan diners.
The most amazing food I’ve ever eaten! So many incredible vegan options and the most gorgeous decor too! Ordered Vegan chicken skewers, Vegan salt and pepper prawns, vegan special fried noodles, vegan sichuan beef and vegan chicken curry. INCREDIBLE vegan menu!

The initial look of Wongs makes you think that this is going to be a good experience. The chinese background music is calming, the interior is lovely, even though the tables and chairs are built for giants. The service is friendly and efficient . That's where it all stops!!! Wongs is like a man with a sock down his pants or Tottenhams stadium, impressive visually but once you get past the looks and sparkle it's a total let down. I can honestly say it's the worse Chinese food in a restaurant I have had and you can't include the prawn crackers in that because they are bought in. The sweet chilli sauce is watered down, the steamed dumplings were soggy and watery like they were boiled and everything tasted stale. I know that sounds harsh but when you pay nearly £12 for some noodles and bean sprouts you expect it to be fresh, tasty and enjoyable not oily and greasy, I always judge things on cost and Wongs is not cheap. It's such a shame because the staff are great and the setting is lovely. My advice to Wongs owner is sack your chef. If you want decent traditional chinese food you can go to Nice Spice which is a 1 minute walk from Wongs. Not as flashy but good food and not expensive.

We ordered from Wong's using UberEats on 3rd of March 2021. The quality of the food was good and the order was here fairly quick. We ordered Black Bean Sauce Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Lemon Chicken + 1 Egg fried rice. I must say the quantity was okay for 2 people but i rated this as 4 stars due to the price. It's on the £££ especially when considering its a take away and you don't get the service and setting of the restaurant... 42£ was a bit much.

Had a great meal at Wong’s on Denmark Street. The food was absolutely delicious – super fresh and full of flavour. We had the crispy duck and black bean beef, and both were spot on. Staff were friendly and the vibe was relaxed but still felt special. Portion sizes were great too – left feeling full and happy! Definitely one of the best Chinese spots in Bristol. Will 100% be coming back.

Love love love this place. Make a reservation ahead of time! This restaurant is always packed and for good reason. The early bird dinner special is definitely where you get the most value for your money- 21.5£ for an appetizer, main, and pancake. The coconut pancake is divine, as are the dumplings and noodles!

The staff here are so lovely! I dined alone and got number N6 with extra tofu and chilli and a smoothie to wash it down! Great for vegans like me! the portions are big and the food was really really tasty. The staff made me feel very welcomed and made an effort to talk to me! I’ll be coming back next time i’m in Bristol :-)

Nice vegan food ( but you will also get options with eggs ). Only thing - service was good but too slow or may be we were too tired and hungry 🥲 Nice place to hangout with friends.

Wow !! Is all I can say. What a beautiful selection of food. I can understand why the locals rave about this place it’s absolutely stunning. This has to be one of the best places in Bristol. I have eaten in the past few days and I will definitely come back as there’s so much more on the menu. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and gave us advice on different blends of flavours. We overstayed our time a little bit and they weren’t pushy and were actually very friendly. A big thank you to all the staff there I cannot wait to return.

Have been here a few times now and it’s absolutely excellent every single time, and will remain a solid go to spot. Food is fresh and tasty, menu provides a big variety to suit many palates. The staff are kind and attentive but not intrusive. A little on the small side, but never feels cramped. The perfect place for a group or a date. A million stars ✨ ⭐️

absolutely amazing veggie vegan options and selection!! great service, short wait for food, beautiful atmosphere -cosy vibes intimate and warm. we had dumplings, red bean pancakes, tofu with cucumber and the sweet sour balls, was in a happy food coma afterwards!! will be recommending to everyone and going back for sure.

Food was ok. Nothing special. Tofu ball main was overly sweet. Bean curd starter would have been better with a dipping sauce. Coconut pancakes were ok but bits felt barely cooked. Wood ear mushrooms in different tofu main were the highlight of the whole meal… Food had been heated in the microwave - could hear it ring, and the food was way too hot in temperature. Mains served too quickly after starter - served as we were still finishing the starters. Overall rather disappointed as this was a recommended spot for good vegan food in Bristol! Maybe it was an off night ?…

Restaurant
At Emperor Court, guests can enjoy traditional Chinese dishes in a beautiful red-and-gold dining room. The chefs at this restaurant are skilled in preparing dishes from all three of China's most popular provinces - Beijing, Guangzhou and Sichuan. Some of the more famous Peking-style dishes include light and delicate flavors, while Szechuan cuisine is hotter and more flavorful with chili peppers as a key ingredient.
Tried this restaurant recently off the back of recommendations and gladly can say I was not disappointed and I’m sure you wouldn’t be either! A very authentic and homely feel to the restaurant, warm and quiet spot with quirky basement vibe. We ordered both set menu B and C because why not! 4 us ate here and we had more than enough good food. I’ll talk over some of my highlights from the set menus, my favourite overall was certainly the sweet and sour chicken, crispy yet tender with real sweet and sour flavour running through out the dish pack a real punch and depth of flavour which just kept making you want to eat more and more. Other hits on menus were - king prawns in ginger and spring onions, beef in black bean sauce, aromatic crispy lamb pancakes and mention to the mixed starts, ribs were succulent and juicy, and satay chicken was perfect. Overall some really nice dishes, not full of oil or greasy like a take away, really flavourful and thought out dishes, not a massive menu here and the dishes they do they really know about. Nothing bad to say about this spot and I would rate this visit a solid 8/10! Will return that’s for sure!

This restaurant has a quiet and modest front, and you'd be forgiven for not thinking much when you walk past, but you'd also be gravely mistaken. We tried set menu B. All the food we had was excellent, but in particular the crispy lamb pancakes were inspired. The staff were so attentive and kind. Always asking us whether we were ready for the next course. We never felt rushed. At the price point this might be the best Chinese in Bristol.

We booked this restaurant for our anniversary as we wanted to eat Chinese. We thought to give this place a try as we never heard or tried this place before. When we walked-in it didn't look that great from outside and it's well hidden too. But when we went inside we were warmly welcomed and given seat next to the fish tank. It was nice for them to give us a table which is a bit better and different for our anniversary. Food quality was good and portion size was generous. I really enjoyed their chow main and crispy aromatic duck. Overall it's a nice place with delicious food and service is good.

One of the best restaurants I've been in the UK! Staff was so friendly and the food was INCREDIBLE! 10/10. If I'm ever in Bristol again I will definetely want to go back! I highly recommend the vegetable soup!
Gabriela L — Google review
The food was excellent, the flavours were great and the showmanship with the sizzling king prawns was unexpected but amazing. Service was prompt and we were well catered too. The staff took extra care to listen to my partners allergy requirements and provide clarification to ensure safety and satisfaction. The atmosphere however leaves a little to be desired. Feeling somewhat dated, it struggles to create the cozy atmosphere it tries to imply. This isn't to say it's bad, but small details such as paper tablecloths, plastic chopsticks and ambient lighting could be improved upon. The fish tank was a fun unexpected bonus though. Overall a great restaurant, where you can enjoy some seriously good food away from the chaos of the city. Dishes may be on the pricey side, but you get great value for money.

It offers global foods inspired by Asian night markets with vibrant neon signs. With a capacity for up to 1,000 diners, it's child-friendly and provides various discounts throughout the week. The average prices vary for lunch and dinner. The venue has received over four stars from 8,368 Google reviews due to its extensive food choices.
Large selection across 5 different regional groups. From far east to Tex Mex, there's plenty to choose from. All the food is cooked fresh, and you can watch the chefs cooking live if that's your thing. Staff were friendly, and got us a different table when we asked for a slightly larger one. The atmosphere was very lively, but not uncomfortably so. I'd definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try lots of different foods at a good price.

I had a great experience at this buffet restaurant today! There was a wide variety of food options, from fresh salads and hot dishes to a selection of live cooking stations, which really made the meal more enjoyable. Everything was well-presented and kept fresh, and I especially appreciated the dishes being cooked to order right in front of you. The quality of the food was impressive, and the flavors were delicious across the board. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience even better. So far, this is the best buffet I’ve had in the UK – great value for money and definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back again!

This was my second time visiting the restaurant and I had a great experience at this buffet restaurant. There are a variety of food cuisines available like salads, Indian, Chinese , Mexican, desert. There are live counters on most of the cuisines where you can get your food hot served. The quality of the food, atmosphere was very good and the staff were very friendly too. I will visit again

impressive variety of authentic dishes from different countries every corner feels like a mini food journey around the world. The staff are attentive, always ensuring everything runs smoothly. The place is clean and lively, though a bit crowded at times due to the layout of the tables and chairs. Still, the atmosphere and quality of the food make it well worth a visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves international flavours and great service
Alvina — Google review
This far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food considering it caters for the masses was excellent. Lots of choice for vegetarians. You have to get a ticket from the desk on the ground floor before going upstairs to wait to be seated. This isn’t clearly signposted and the person on the desk key is walk straight upstairs where we queued for 10 mins to be told to go back downstairs first. The noise level is a lot. It’s a busy place but the music makes it hard to enjoy a conversation. Overall, great value, would return.
Nicki G — Google review
There was an amazing selection of food ranging from Chinese to Mexican to Indian etc. The Chinese section was unreal and so was the Indian and the chicken. There were quite a few foods that we were appalled by, for example the deadly, radioactive Mac & cheese… looks can be deceiving to say the least, pasta station wasn’t too good either, the variety was good but the execution not so much. The desserts were lush a highlight being the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fountain. In terms of atmosphere all was good. The lady that took our drinks order was very pleasant, however the customer service of the live chefs was poor, and felt hostile. Also disappointed there were No tacos 💔 Come here if you want a full stomach but don’t expect amazing quality.
Zuza X — Google review
Just visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was worth every penny spent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The dessert selection was impressive! Note that drinks aren't complimentary, so keep that in mind. It can get a bit crowded, but that's a testament to its popularity. Highly recommend visiting with friends and family. Bon appétit! 🍴👌
Swarajya B — Google review
This place is bonkers (in a great way!) We visited mid week (but during half term) and it was extremely busy. We booked a table for 12:00 when it opened and there was still a queue of people waiting to get in. When we left at around 1:30 there were approximately 200 people waiting to get in. The food is better than I was expecting and was always very fresh and hot regardless of the 'zone' that I was choosing food from. The bar offers a good range of drinks options and the cocktails that we bought were very good. When we visited, the cost for lunch was £13.99 a head, this seemed very good value indeed. Definitely worth a visit but make sure that you book in advance ........

Located in Bristol, Wagamama at Cabot Circus offers a Japanese-inspired dining experience with a diverse menu and friendly staff. The restaurant features communal bench seating, creating a sociable atmosphere for guests. Since its establishment in 1992, Wagamama has expanded globally while maintaining its commitment to serving nourishing and energizing Japanese cuisine. Customers have praised the attentive staff and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Despite closing late on a Sunday night, the accommodating staff ensured an enjoyable dining experience for visitors.
The pad Thai was lovely. Chilli squid beer good. I loved the plate of mixed pickles as I'd not had those before. Edamame beans were a little tiny. Not had them this small before. Colleague had the fish dish and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had a lovely evening here. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The menu is flexible, and the dishes can be customised. The food was delicious. I had the Pad Thai, and it was lovely. The dishes arrive separately, so if there is a group dining, some dishes might take longer to arrive.

I found the menu to be quite extensive, offering a diverse range of options to explore. The presentation of each dish was visually appealing, enhancing the overall dining experience. The flavors were well-balanced, showcasing a skillful use of spices and fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the noodles, which were cooked to perfection and had a delightful texture. Overall, it was a pleasant meal, and I would recommend it.
Florin M — Google review
My go-to place for dinner; I’m in here more than I’d like to admit. The staff recognize me at this point and I recognize all of them too lol. I always get either the chicken teriyaki donburi bowl (£14.50) or the chicken yakitori skewers (£8.5) with a side of rice (£3), and the occasional tea-stained egg (£1). I don’t know if the tea-stained egg is supposed to have a specific tea flavor to it, but it just tastes like a regular egg. I’ve never had authentic Japanese cuisine, and I think wagamama itself isn’t even fully Japanese as it has other Asian influences on the menu, but for my personal taste I like the food. Prices are relatively reasonable and the portions are big. I sometimes get the smoked caramel chocolate ganache cake served with one scoop of vanilla ice cream (£7.50), be aware that they will charge you extra for another scoop. However it’s really good! I’ve never had “smoked” chocolate but it really does taste smoky? I don’t know how to describe it but it’s definitely very delicious.
Naya — Google review
So far it was the worst experience we have ever had in Wagamama Restaurant. Usually the food tasted delicious, but at that time, absolutely opposite of it. The atmosphere as usual, we don't really like it (sharing tables with other people, noisy, etc). One good experience (that deserved 5-star) was Jack. He served us really well, and friendly. Wheelchair accessibility is available. Toilet for customers is available.
Marta D — Google review
I love Wagamama because it’s basically the definition of “feel-good food” — like a hug, but with noodles. The staff? Brilliant. They always have time for a bit of friendly small talk, which makes me feel like I’ve joined some kind of cheerful, delicious cult (and I’m totally fine with that). The food is a mystery in the best way. Sometimes I try to guess the ingredients or calculate the nutritional value, but the real magic must be hiding somewhere deeper… maybe in the genius loci of the place. Or maybe they just sprinkle in an extra pinch of happiness. Either way, I keep coming back for more.
Joseph R — Google review
Always a good place when you’re craving for some asian taste, but I believe they could have done better with the menu. Also, been here for a couple of time, the noodles were always overcooked :( apart from that, all good

Chilli Daddy is a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant with multiple locations in Bristol, known for its authentic and excellently priced hot-pot noodles, dan dan noodles, and traditional salads. The owner hails from Sichuan, China, and has brought his family recipes to the menu. The restaurant's bright green and red signage makes it easily recognizable. It started as the first Szechuan street food stall in the UK in 2011 and has since become a Bristolian classic.
Very affordable delicious food with lots of flavour. The beef was super tender and the broth was full of flavour. The lemon tea was very refreshing and not too sweet which was perfect. Would 100% recommend!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile now and I’ve finally had the chance while out with some friends. The food was really good, I had their Spare rib hotpot with house noodles and level 2 spice. The noodles were delicious and very filling with great flavour in every bite. As a person who can really handle spice, I really should have gone a higher level because 2 was way too mild for me. Luckily they had chilli oil on the table to add to my noodles. I also had a hot green tea, which was delicious and great in flavour. There wasn’t any service which explains my rating, but the noodles came out incredibly quickly and I was very pleased with that. All in all a great place to stop for some quick noodles & I’ll definitely be back!

Chili Daddy is a fantastic, authentic Chinese restaurant in Bristol! It’s small with limited tables, but definitely worth the wait for a seat. The food is excellent — don’t underestimate the hot sauce or dishes marked with chili symbols, they pack a real punch! 🌶️ The beef dishes are incredibly tender, and everything tastes freshly prepared and full of flavor. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine with a kick! 🥢

Dragon's Delicacy is a delightful dining establishment that offers an enjoyable lunch experience. Although the mapo tofu could be improved, it still provided a pleasant taste. The beef brisket soup noodle was also delightful, despite the thin noodles being less appealing. However, the flavorful broth and tender beef made up for this minor flaw. Additionally, the steamed prawn/chive dumplings were satisfying, although some patrons felt the prawns could have been cooked longer.
The dishes Yao recommended to us were delicious! We had a wonderful evening! We will definitely come back next time! The service was also great! They were very interesting!

It was such a fun experience. The menu is incredibly extensive, offering so many options that we decided to make a game out of it, rating the dishes from S to D tier! The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Highlights for us included the BBQ PORK PUFF PASTRY for sure (S-tier), while some items were more of an acquired taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're a fan of dim sum or looking to explore something new, this spot is worth a visit.

Great Chongqing is a cozy and lively café in Bristol, UK, offering a wide range of authentic Chinese dishes such as Hofan noodles, dumplings, chow mein, and Szechuan specialties. The restaurant provides a snug space reminiscent of bustling cafes in Beijing. Customers can enjoy delectable options like crispy duck sweet potato noodles and Chongqing stew beef with customizable spice levels.
This is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Bristol! I’ve tried their Chongqing fried chicken, Sizzling beef with black pepper, Chicken fried rice, and Egg fried rice—loved all of it. I especially recommend the chicken fried rice. The portions are generous, and you can choose your spice level. It’s a casual dining spot, and I’ve always been able to find a seat upon walking in. That said, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The restaurant can get quite cold at times, and the smoke and scent from the kitchen tend to linger in the seating area, which can be slightly uncomfortable. But this is definitely a place I tend to visit whenever I want some yummy comfort food.

“Chinese food is awesome and delicious! The dishes are not only affordable but also come in generous portions. The service is great, and while the ambience is simple, it feels warm and welcoming—perfect for a casual dining experience. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5!”
Ritch I — Google review
The restaurant is extremely cold—everyone inside is wearing jackets while eating. We decided to try this place because of the picture on their sticker. A layered bun is quite rare, and we were really excited to have it. Unfortunately, what we got was a regular bun, not layered, and the flavor was quite weak. The bun was so dry that we ended up dipping it in the dumpling sauce just to make it more enjoyable. When we asked the staff why the bread was different from the one advertised, they explained that some ingredients couldn’t be shipped here, making it impossible to create the layered bun. They even said that if we came back in a few years, more ingredients might be available, and they could make it then. Honestly, that just sounds like a bad excuse.

AMAZING FOOD. The portions are very good and the staff are lovley. Always my go to place when I want to eat something delicious.

Ordered Stewed Beef with Sweet Potato Noodles (which I think the name is). You have to order by QR code on the table which is convenient. You can choose the spice level and I chose Level 4 out of 5. It shocked me at first to see the clear soup with chili paste on it but after mixing it well, it was okay. The soup is not only spicy but also a bit sour which I like. You can add more veggies toppings which I did not so there were only bean sprouts, coriander and spring onions. The portion was massive but I wish the dish originally included more veggies like bokchoy. Two noodle dishes and one fried squid cost around £30 for two people.

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic Saturday evening dinner sat at the bar watching each of our dishes being expertly prepared on the charcoal grill. Confident kitchen staff provided us with fantastic food (especially the octopus 🐙) and the cocktails were wonderfully balanced - especially the sour plum sake G&T. We ordered 7 dishes total at a cost of £39.50 and left feeling VERY full. Will definitely be going back for the ramen as we only skewers

Amazing food and great service! Definitely recommended. Brisket was nicely charred. Kamo dango (duck skewer) was very tender and perfect with plum ketchup. Ramen dishes were very good. Must visit if you love ramen and charred grilled!!

Super meal at Woky Ko back in Febuary. Delicious food, great service. Highly recommend but remember to book as it's only little inside and (rightly) very popular. Love being so close to the open kitchen always something to look at!

We popped in for a small dinner on my last visit to Bristol. Sampled all the Bao buns and my only wish was that I could have eaten more, but we had a train to catch! I’ll definitely come back when I’m next in wapping wharf. Cocktails were yum too!
Kylee K — Google review
Best ramen I've ever tried! We had chicken( my number 1) and mushroom ramen. Good service, not many tables inside, and music quite loud. But we definitely come back again! P.S.: try edamame beans- they are perfect!
Anna M — Google review
Style over substance for this place. It took 30 minutes for my bao bun to arrive, which was five minutes after my chicken satay. 30 minutes for one small boa bun is far too long. The bao bun was nice and full of different flavours, but slightly too much on the sweet side. The satay chicken was very very bland, and the sauce felt too thin and watery. The presentation was excellent and it all looked very pretty. The staff were friendly and nice even though I wasn’t given water nor asked how anything was. If I was given the chance I would have politely fed back there and then rather than writing a review. Cocktails were disappointing - the Kugo wasn’t particularly pleasant and could have done with a straw to stir as was very wine(y) + watery to begin with, before becoming too sweet at the end. The Ume highball was much nicer, but again a straw would’ve been nice. For the price, I would not say it was worth it, and would probably not recommend. Who knows - maybe I went on a bad day. Highlights: Friendly staff Presentation Lowlights: Expensive for quality Subpar flavour Mediocre cocktails 30 minute wait for a bao bun. *WokyKo rooftop*

SO good!!! The cauliflower Katsu curry was unreal! The ramen was delicious too, not a ramen fan but it was decent. Tasted as good as it like in the photo.
Paula D — Google review
There was a limited menu running when we visited but the staff emailed beforehand as we had a booking so this was no problem. We both had ramen which was really tasty. Overall I had a great experience but I think the price would prevent me from coming back here other than on special occasions. Just a little too expensive for a casual meal. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

The establishment is known for its delicious offerings such as sweet and sour pork balls and flavorful dim sum. Despite potential wait times during busy periods, patrons rave about the quality of the food and the friendly banter among staff members.
Friendly staff, great food. Loved the pork in satay sauce :)

Chicken ball were more batter then Chicken. Prawn satay hardly any prawns. Crispy beef taste really sweet. Kids had some chips they were terrible. Took over an hour and a half to arrive. Definitely not worth the wait. Never again

This is my favourite takeaway and always enjoyed the food. Staff really friendly and food delicious. However we had a takeaway last night and didn't enjoy as much. Husband said prawns didn't taste great.
Tracy D — Google review
A game of two half's tbf. Singapore chowmein was pretty nice and the sweet and sour chicken balls, they deserved 4 stars, service deserved a 5. However the Tom Yum Soup was lacking in flavour and the thing that knocked it down to a 3 is the fact I had to pay for prawn crackers because I spent under £25 but they were stale. Constructive criticism, if you charge thats fine but make sure it's good 👍
Graeme C — Google review
This was quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had and will deffo be recommending it! Nothing tasted too greasy and even the fried food (chicken balls and prawn toast) didn’t feel too heavy. Really recommend the special rice.

Ordered the chicken fried rice and pork szechuan and it was amazing dinner for 2. However I would like the quantity of pork in the szechuan to be higher. Overall great first experience, will come again

Nestled in the heart of Bristol, Nice Spice 百味小廚 is a cozy counter-service eatery that specializes in classic Cantonese cuisine, particularly known for its mouthwatering barbecue dishes. The restaurant serves up delectable options like roast duck and char siu, which have garnered a loyal following among locals and students alike.
Hands down the best roasted pork and duck I’ve had in the UK. The skin was super crispy and the meat was juicy and tender. Portions were really generous too. Plus, you get a discount on milk tea if you order a main. Definitely coming back!
Annie L — Google review
It's been in our bucketlist for some time to try this restaurant but every time we passed by, it was always full. Until we went recently quite early on a Saturday. Fifteen minutes after being seated, the crowds began pouring in steadily. Talk about beating the crowd. Now we understand. This is one of, if not the best one we've tried so far specialising in roasted meats. Huge servings and authentic (it's almost like being transported to Hong Kong), very flavourful roasted duck and soy sauce chicken, as well as crispy pork belly cooked to perfection (all very tender and succulent). And its best-kept secret? Its home-made chili sauce! It's the perfect sauce for the dishes! Highly recommended and two thumbs up! Oh, and it helps if you see elderly Chinese ordering to-go -- a great sign you're getting the real deal. You just have to be patient when queueing up and plan your visit well.

I’ve been to this shop 3 times in the past two weeks. The first two times, there was a guy working, and he was really nice, he even let us pay by card. But today there was a girl at the counter, and her attitude was terrible. She told us we must bring cash next time, gave me less food than usual, and the pork even had a really bad smell. Totally not worth it. With service this inconsistent and the quality all over the place, it’s hard to trust them. Forcing people to pay only in cash or with WeChat/Alipay just feels unbelievable in 2025.

The customer service at Royal Kitchen in Bristol is excellent, with many people commenting on the friendly and accommodating staff. The portion sizes are also mentioned as being generous, and the food high standard. All in all, a great Chinese takeaway option.
The food as absolutely amazing! Very big portions, and the food is so tasty. This has been the second time we have eaten from here, and we will be back again👌and delivery to Shirehampton, the food arrived around 25 minutes and nice and hot. give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Paul H — Google review
Used to enjoy takeaways from here, but the standard of food has dropped. The Chow Mein was greasy and flavourless, the beef in black bean sauce was just devoid of flavour. The crispy shredded chicken was more rubbery chewy chicken. Chips were also rubbery. A very disappointing experience.
Dan C — Google review
Just had my takeaway and it came after 50 minutes and the food was very bland and the batter on the sweet and sour king prawn balls looked old and was very dry. Very disappointed as we have had takeaway from this place for a few years now

Simon in the counter was super helpful and kind as always, providing 5 star service. Food was very scrummy 😋😋😋 complimentary tango was delectable.

I can't say much about the rest of the menu because I haven't tried it. We always order the same thing. Singapore Vermicelli and Deep fried Prawns in chilli garlic and salt. Its always excellent. Today I mixed it up a bit and got pork fried rice with extra veg, low soy, and asked them to spice it up a bit for me. They were totally cool with my special request and it was great as usual. I also want to add that my partner and I have been ordering from here for years. It has always been quick, friendly, and a good portion size for money.

I had a house special fried rice this evening, it was very enjoyable. Was it the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life? No, but the prices are very reasonable, the portions are generous and overall the food is very good. I was surprised by the amount of meat I got too, I expected a lot less. It was ready very quickly too. I'll definitely order from here again.

The establishment is known for its excellent quality and quick service for collection.
Super friendly, incredibly quick service, banging food, owners kid is always knocking about in the foyer doing something cute with a big smile. 😊 Amazing vegan/veggie selection for what I would call a “classic chippy”, basically the whole menu can be made vegan with PB alternatives to every meat. Cash only, but great value for money. Highly recommended!
Jay S — Google review
Used to love the food here years ago but now you're lucky if it ever arrives, vegan food being ordered but being given meat instead and waiting over 2 hours for a delivery without a sorry or offer of a refund. The worst customer service, if you can't cope with the amount of orders turn deliveries off?
Jodie S — Google review
The food is excellent, but the service is appalling. The last three times I've ordered my order has been cancelled due to them not having enough drivers. This would be fine if they cancelled the order right away, but each time it was 1 to 2 hours after I had ordered, and on one occasion they had actually told me the order was on the way before cancelling! This is unacceptable. I've been a loyal customer for five years, and they can't even do me the courtesy of telling me they can't fulfil my order within a reasonable amount of time. Having to wait hours only to have my order cancelled is absolutely miserable. I value my evenings and I don't like to give money to businesses who treat me like crap, so I won't be ordering again.

Absolutely horrible experience. Waited 2 hours for food asked where it was and they didn't know where the driver was, we asked for a refund and they refused. Driver eventually arrived and we asked where he had been, he couldn't answer, he just said "blame them" terrible service all round. Originally person on other end of the phone said they'd been getting complaints all night, and our food would be with us ASAP. We live 4 mins drive away and it took 2 and half hours to receive.

The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer is a stylish 17th-century townhouse pub in Bristol, offering craft beers, ciders, and gastropub food. It's a highlight of the Bristol pub scene with a popular dining room and a cozy setting featuring leather armchairs and corner tables by the fire. The pub boasts an exciting wine selection along with an impressive array of navy rums, harking back to its sailor-serving history.
What a lovely pub! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The beer selection is brilliant, and the Sunday roasts are to die for! We both agree that this was our favourite roast for a long time- generous portions, succulent meats, crispy potatoes, well-seasoned veg and beautiful cauliflower cheese and gravy- I honestly could have drank a pint of the gravy!

Takeout Restaurant
Great Japanese restaurant with bench-style seating and karaoke rooms. The salmon sashimi was perfect, the maki rolls were really nice, and the portions were good size servings. Would come here again. Relaxed atmosphere, quick service, good menu.
The sushi in this Japanese restaurant is definitely my favorite recently! The sashimi is so fresh that it seems you can taste the sweetness of the ocean. The salmon belly is rich in fat and the sweet shrimp is soft, glutinous and sweet. It's simply amazing! The chef's craftsmanship and dedication can be felt in every piece of sushi, and the presentation is as exquisite as a work of art. I will repurchase it indefinitely! Ice cream desserts have become a masterpiece! After having sushi, I casually ordered a dessert and was immediately charmed by it! The ice cream and mochi have a smooth and rich texture, with a moderate sweetness that is not greasy. You can also taste the fine nuts. I heard that the ingredients were flown in from Japan. No wonder the taste is so pure. Next time, I'll come here especially for ice cream!

Been there twice. Great chirashi don with miso soup. Also nice salmon mariawase set.
Olga N — Google review
Surprisingly good Japanese restaurant in the centre of Bristol — high quality by UK standards. Sashimi Moriawase (16 pcs): Four types of sashimi — salmon, tuna, surf clam, and sweet shrimp. All were quite fresh. The salmon and tuna were thickly sliced, rich, and well-balanced in fat; tuna was firmer with no fishy taste. Surf clam was springy and slightly sweet, and the sweet shrimp were plentiful, soft, and fresh. Atsuyaki Tamago: Although not made with dashi, it was sweet, soft, and fluffy. Spider Roll: Crispy soft-shell crab inside with cucumber to balance the oiliness; topped with creamy avocado, tobiko, and mayonnaise for a satisfying mix of textures. Spicy Salmon Temaki: Slightly different from expectations — sauce was like the usual spicy salmon gunkan, and would be better if the salmon was diced, but still rich and tasty. The wrapping seaweed was a bit tough instead of crispy. Honey Yuzu Tea: A perfect pairing for Japanese food — sweet, tangy, refreshing, and soothing for the throat. There are also some lunch sets, set meals, bento boxes, etc. The choices are very diverse and the prices are relatively affordable, suitable for office workers or those who want to eat quickly.
Chuu0417 — Google review
Delicious food and wonderful staff, at a very reasonable price. Lots of variety, too, which made getting one of the chef's sets an exciting surprise with regard to what fish we would get.
Jamie G — Google review
Generous portion of food and quick service. Arrived early for dinner service so we were tended to quick. Appreciative that they had clean highchairs.
Farah J — Google review
Not the worse thing I've eaten but definitely needs a little rework or a bit more wow factor if the price is going to be nearly 12. If I would have paid £8 I would have gave a higher score. Chicken was nice but a bit dry, not much teriyaki was given, I thought the salad was unusual but rice and pickles were good. I had to wait 30 mins too which was a bit longer. I will be returning to try the sushi/sashimi as that looks like it's their specialty.

We have been to Noa many times, and have taken friends and family here. Every single visit has been incredible. Our favourite sushi restaurant in the UK. Today, we visited for Mother's Day. My mum has a gluten and citrus allergy, and the service team couldn't have been more helpful. They went through each menu item, and made the chef aware too. Thank you so much for looking after us. Lovely restaurant, great team, wonderful atmosphere and just the best sushi. The Dragon Roll and Tempura Crab sushi are our favourites!

I had an incredible dining experience at Noa Japanese. The red miso black cod was an absolute standout—perfectly cooked, rich, and bursting with umami flavor that melted in my mouth. You could really taste the quality of ingredients and the chef’s attention to detail. The salmon sashimi was equally impressive, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Every bite was a testament to the care they put into sourcing and preparing their fish. The ambiance was elegant yet comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, offering great pairing suggestions and insights into the menu. Toro Chinese is a popular spot on Park Street, especially among Chinese students. The restaurant offers a wide selection of pan-Asian dishes, including specialities like flavorsome pot and grilled fish hot pot. They stay true to their roots and don't alter flavors to suit local tastes. While some found the braised beef noodle a bit bland, others loved the black pepper beef rice. The large sharing pots are highly recommended for their value and flavor when enjoyed with friends.
The crab and mutton soup that you will not have it at other place ! It's the boss's own secret recipes ! The spicy mix dish is delicious ! Can adjust the spicy level and pick your own ingredients.

food was pretty good! i got the chicken with ginger, similar to hainanese chicken rice and the ginger was super flavourful. but ratio of chicken to rice was a bit off, would have liked more chicken. the braised beef noodle was quite bland, but we loved the black pepper beef rice. have realised that the must get here is the 麻辣香锅 or large sharing pots instead of the ala carte items! very worth the money when shared with friends and very flavourful

I give one star because of the exploitative owner. The food is good!! The service is even better!! The waiters are so nice and friendly and very attentive. We would love to show our gratitude for their amazing service with some service charge. However, they don’t get the service charge !! What! I was so surprised. Service charge is taken by the owner who is not there serving us! Why do they should get the service charge ! Give the service charge to your employees who actually care for and serve your customers to keep your business open! Pure exploitative, greedy and unjust behaviour from the owner. It’s sickening. Next time if you would like to show your appreciation towards the servers, give cash!

Nestled on Ashton Road, China Capital has quickly become a beloved destination for those craving an array of Asian flavors. This takeaway restaurant boasts an extensive menu that features delectable dishes from Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, and Japanese cuisines. Diners rave about the rich Sweetcorn Soup and the perfectly balanced Malaysian Style Prawns. The Singapore Thin Noodles are celebrated for their authentic charred taste, while the Indonesian Fried Rice is described as both delicious and satisfying.
Incredible food! So much depth of flavour in every dish and so much choice on the meni. We are Nottingham based but work away in Bristol occasionally and order from China Capital every time we're there as we absolutely love their food! Highly recommend 👌

Absolutely delicious! This is now my go-to Chinese takeaway in town. I ordered: • Sweetcorn Soup : Hands down the best I’ve had locally. Rich, comforting, and full of flavour. • Malaysian Style Prawns :Really tasty, with a great balance of spices. • Singapore Thin Noodles: Fantastic! Has that authentic charred flavour that’s hard to find. • Indonesian Fried Rice : So delicious and satisfying. • Black Bean Tofu : Packed with flavour, beautifully cooked. Everything arrived hot and fresh. Highly recommend!

The worst food - used to be nice but now everything has a layer of orange oil across the top. The egg fried rice was a congealed slimey lump. I didn’t eat any of my order because it looked like food poisoning
Natasha S — Google review
Ordered via just eat last night. Gotta say the House special fried rice is the best I have ever had. They use a really nice sauce and this makes the difference for me! All the food was spot on and hot on delivery despite travelling across the city to deliver!
Steven P — Google review
Staff were extremely friendly. I had king prawns with stir fried veg and egg fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. I would say that the large chips whilst a perfect portion for us might be a bit small for someone else, so keep that in mind if you’re feeding a few people. Otherwise, would definitely recommend and will be going back!

Best Chinese takeout Iv ever had. I ordered the chicken chow main & sweet & sour chicken balls and the flavour was delicious along with no grease!! Highly reccomend first time I had ordered here and I will be back every time .

The special ho fun and the monks veg. There's so much toppings on the ho fun you can barely find the noodles :) Edit - For some reason my wok fried udon had loads of pepper that rendered it inedible! The general tsos chicken is terrible as others have mentioned

Food is great every time, always delivered hot, always good customer service via phone and delivery. Best Thai curry and Malaysian satay. Diverse menu options. Always my #1 choice for Chinese in Bristol

Chan's Chow is one of the best takeaway chinese restaurants in Bristol, with portions that are very generous and service that is excellent. The chef makes all the sauces himself, and all dishes are freshly prepared.
Such a friendly local Chinese, the food is excellent and it’s a lovely family run Chinese restaurant. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Joshua A — Google review
I am a regular customer and I have learned in that time which dishes are good and which are disappointing. Sadly there are inconsistencies creeping in even in the dishes they do well. For example, I ordered Beef and Green Peppers on Black Bean Sauce. What I got was Beef and Carrots - only one tiny square of green pepper! If they had been honest and told me they hadn't got any peppers, I would have ordered a different dish. Now I am disillusioned and that's another favourite off the shortlist.

Lovely gentleman on the phone, BUT unfortunately the egg fried rice wasn’t even fried im sure it was cooked rice, put in the microwave with an egg and mixed around and the chicken balls were very WERID inside really dark “picture to show” ,…… chips and sauces were nice but that’s not enough for me to go back sorry.

First time I normally go to Viens top of kellaway they are closed for holiday, and I don't like to be negative of our local businesses but chicken balls very doughy sweet and sour sauce like water sorry how can you get chips wrong under cooked.

New Happy Palace is one of the best value Chinese takeaways in Bristol and its food is consistently rated highly by customers. The takeaway offers a wide range of dishes, all of which are very tasty and well-priced. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a quick and easy meal.
Always been my favourite for years! Id drive miles to get here. Iv moved areas and we still drive here weekly. Just a lovely authentic chinese! Lovely customer service too :)

Best chinese takeaway! We love the food here and always have enough for another meal, the portions are very generous. Staff is always kind as well. Thank you so much!
Diana S — Google review
I did wonder about this Chinese takeaway, the reviews are split between 1 star and 5 stars, who is right!? Well I think this is definitely closer to 5 stars, as Chinese takeaways go the food was delicious and well cooked, the Cantonese Duck I had was really good quality and the Chow Young rice others had suggested was a big portion full of various meaty bits. You can see from my photo I ordered a load of food (some of it was saved for the next day!) My only negative was that the prawn toast didn’t come with sweet & sour sauce, I didn’t realise this needed to be purchased separately... I get that costs have gone up so it’s fine if they want to charge extra for it, but please make it clearer on the menu! Eg: Prawn toast £7 Prawn toast with pot of sauce £9 Having said that it was a good size portion of prawn toast and as good as any I’ve had, if not better! (Sauce in the photo is just a blue dragon one from my fridge, it’s lucky I had some!) Overall though a good experience, I’ll be back to try more of their menu!
Lee J — Google review
Very friendly and very quick. Also threw in a freebie as they didn't have what I wanted. There are one or two staple items I would expect to see which aren't there and the flavour of the food, while nice, was not massively vibrant. However, the service was excellent and the prices are very good. I would definitely go back there next time I wanted a Chinese, mainly based on the service and pricing.
Leeadam A — Google review
They are the Chinese takeaway service. They only accept cash that's the down point but can grab cash from nearby SPAR. I liked this place among other I tried recently. You can ask them for the type of flavours you want.

My favourite local takeaway for the last 14 years I have lived in the area. Beef in black bean sauce, chilli and salt king prawns or chicken balls with curry sauce is my go to on a Friday night. The friendliest service possible.

This restaurant is perfect for anyone looking for authentic Chinese food. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. It's not fancy, but it's definitely a must-try if you're in the area. The only downside is that they don't take cards, so be prepared to walk to a nearby garage to withdraw some cash.
My favourite Chinese restaurant in Bristol, not even close. Always enjoy trying new things here. It is worth mentioning that the whole team has professional experience back in China. For example, the owner and chef worked for a locally famous restaurant in Wenzhou for decades. This already distinguishes this place from most of other Chinese restaurants in Bristol. Everything attached is highly recommended. But if you don’t know where to start, try the lamb. Tips: Though the noodles are good, don’t be limited to the noodles menu. Food in the “white menu” is probably the reason why they are often regarded as one of the best in Bristol among Chinese. They also have daily specials, which can be accessible via WeChat.
Hongyi H — Google review
We had the slow-cooked beef hot & sour soup noodles and the char siu pork hot & sour. The beef was incredible—so rich and flavourful! It was really delicious overall. It was my first time trying sweet potato noodles, though—they were quite slippery and a bit tricky to eat, so it felt a bit unusual for me.
Rumyana A — Google review
The portion is massive compared to the price so please visit here completely empty stomach 🤣 Or you can also takeaway your unfinished food. But very authentic and loved the flavour. I had potato noodles with pork belly. Tasted divine. I don't think you need any side dish but if you have a good appetite then do try their dumplings too. They also serve hotpot. Ambiance is okayish. A little bit cramped. They have extra space upstairs. Also, they serve a bit slow because I think they get too many orders (both online and takeaway). Overall great Chinese restaurant and very pocket friendly ✨
Vaishnudebi D — Google review
Wow are the noodles amazing! The spicy Chinese soup base is packed full of that flavoursome type of heat. Mouth watering! And the noodles were the best texture I ever had. After the first bite, you know those noodles are cooked to a satisfyingly chewy texture. Need to check this place out if you want Chinese noodles! So legit.
Dan C — Google review
Absolutely delicious noodle pots! I had the slow cooked beef (melt in mouth) with hot pepper noodles. It was so tasty and flavourful. Big portion size and great value. Going in there feels like you've just gone on holidays to China and it's a fully authentic experience. I cannot wait to go back and try some more. We were a table of 6 and all really impressed with our food.

Brisnoodel is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a warm bowl of soup. I’ve fallen in love with their hotpepper soup, which is hearty, flavorful, and warms you up completely—it’s truly comforting. The soups here are phenomenal! While I haven’t explored too many other dishes, I can wholeheartedly recommend the lamb cumin—it’s delicious and wonderfully aromatic. The owner is incredibly kind and has a lovely habit of recognizing his customers and remembering their orders, which is especially charming for a bustling city like Bristol with so many visitors. I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place. It’s also worth noting that the prices are very reasonable. If I lived closer, I might just be tempted to stop cooking altogether!

Three reasons you need to go to this restaurant. Super nice boss which is rare. Flavour is extremely good. The portion can make you full even if you have a big appetite.
Johnson — Google review
So the overall taste was great! Everything except from the chicken was really great. The chicken had a flavor of a staled meat. It is very usual in places where they reheat cooked meat. The noodles and the rest of the ingredients was great though!

If you're on the hunt for authentic Chinese cuisine, look no further than Your Kitchen, a delightful gem specializing in Hunan and Szechuan dishes. Diners rave about the diverse menu featuring everything from crispy fried chicken to flavorful dumplings and stir-fried delights. The freshness of the ingredients shines through each dish, making every bite memorable.
I had such a great experience at this restaurant!!!! The food was absolutely delicious—we ordered the crispy pork, stir-fried eggplant, spicy stir-fried pork, and the sour & spicy noodles. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, you can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients. The service was top-notch too; the staff and the owner were super friendly and made us feel right at home👍🏻The vibe inside was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Definitely coming back soon!🤞🏻

I tried this Chinese restaurant in Clifton, and it was a lovely experience. The restaurant has a charming garden area for outdoor dining, as well as stylish indoor seating. We ordered the stir-fried beef, which was delicious—though it would have been even better with a little less oil. The boneless crispy fried chicken was also very tasty, with a generous portion size. The dumplings were soft, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Located in a beautiful part of Clifton, this restaurant offers a great combination of good food, a pleasant setting, and lovely service.
Yamin H — Google review
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The duck was overwhelmingly salty, and the lamb had a very strong, unpleasant gamy taste. The portions were also extremely small for the price. When I raised my concerns with the owner, they were rude and dismissive, insisting that the lamb was supposed to taste that way and refusing any refund or exchange. On top of that, they forcibly charged a service fee that could not be removed, despite the awful service. Their attitude was terrible, and the overall dining experience was disappointing. I would not recommend this place.
Wayne F — Google review
Very good environment and natural lighting. However we feel it is unnecessary to deep fry the aubergine and beans, not healthy! The steamed seabass was great. The beef quality was okay. Hope the restaurant will see this and improve them!

Very nice ambiance. They have authentic regional Chinese food. Huge menu which is classic of Chinese restaurant. Friendly staff. They do not hold back on spice so make sure you tell them how spicy you want your food. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back!

The food and the service was amazing and the garden is very pleasant and quiet with a great atmosphere. The waiter was very dry friendly and gave us some smacked cucumber salad on the house. 10/10 recommend and will be coming back 😍

The food was good in the last year compare to the whole Chinese food in Bristol. The restaurant is clean and service is good. However, it went wrong in these few days. I had sweet and sour ribs last week. It was so weird, not even like sweet and sour ribs. I had stewed pork mince balls and dry-fried fine beans with minced pork this few days. They were too salty that I cannot even eat. I cannot believe these salty dishes can be served for customers.

Fresh Bakery is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, offering an extraordinary culinary experience that goes beyond your typical bakery. As you step inside, you're greeted by a delightful array of dim sum delicacies like dumplings, siu mai, and turnip cake that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The cheung fun with egg is a standout brunch option that will leave you craving more.
What a little gem, very impressed with the dim sum. Very tasty cheung fun, turnip cake was really delicious and the fresh custard buns. It’s a very basic, low key eatery, small but good value. There’s also a toilet. Best to pay cash otherwise you get charged another 10%.

This is not just a bakery! Delicious authentic food, no frills just great food, the staff were so lovely, really welcoming and warm. The portions are MASSIVE, my favourite above all was the wonton soup dish - outstanding and it's one I'll definitely be back for. Thank you fresh bakery!

I had such a great experience at Fresh Bakery! The food here is absolutely delicious – the Beef Brisket Rice Noodle Soup is full of flavor and comforting, while the spring rolls are perfectly crispy and tasty. As soon as you arrive, they offer you a warm cup of Chinese tea for just £1, which is a really nice touch. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is friendly and efficient. Just keep in mind that if you’re paying by card, there’s a 10% service fee, but if you pay cash, there’s no extra charge. Overall, it’s fantastic value for the quality of food you get. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic Chinese dishes!

Food quality is so delicious and the price is reasonable. We ordered fried rice noodle with beef 乾炒牛河, steam beef balls 蒸牛肉and cha siu steamed vermicelli roll 叉燒腸粉. The food is so delicious and the portion is large. The waiter and waitress are polite and speak Cantonese which makes me feel like home.

I really don’t know how come so many 5 stars? I had a disappointing dining experience at this restaurant. I used to frequent it for their crispy pork curry, which was always a treat. Since they changed to the dip sum, the food was simply awful and not at all fresh. Not only was it not good in taste, but it also came with a surprisingly high price tag. What the most disappointing thing is the service, no, actually they provided no service!
Go C — Google review
Food: The food was tasty and enjoyable and the amount was enough to fill my large male belly, though for the price (£14.40) the taste and amount felt underwhelming. Service: We were both given recommended alterations to our orders which we took. My friend then recieved his food (which was originally what I'd ordered) in about 3 minutes, and mine too I think about 25 minutes to arrive. As a result, my friend had finished their food before mine even arrived. We weren't made aware of this, we were simply left to wait. The recommended alterations to our orders were also not explained. We were also not made aware of the 10% service charge on card payments, and a mysterious 10% additional charge showed up on my payment, which wasn't explained. Atmosphere: The decor is wedding catering, but looks very second hand / pre-used. The music felt erratic and sometimes fit an apparent theme, sometimes just sounded like weird random selections, a lot of which I wouldn't consider dining music. Overall: Despite enjoying the food quite a lot, the very high price was completely unjustified in the poor service and venue quality. I'm fairly certain I'll never return here.
Aaron B — Google review
wow wow wow this place is SPECIAL. I have never had cheung fun with egg before but damn, that is a good brunch dish. The turnip cake was the best I have ever eaten. Truly they were made with love! The wonton soup broth was deeply flavourful, the wontons themselves were gloriously wrapped perfectly cooked balls of pure shrimp. Even the tea tastes better here. We don't live in Bristol but this place sure made us wish we did!

Chopstix - Bristol Galleries has made significant improvements since the last visit. The food quality has notably enhanced, and the staff are now described as friendly and helpful. Customers appreciate the fresh food and commend the polite and informative service provided by staff members like Ben and Gamora. Diners particularly enjoyed tender chicken, well-seasoned noodles, and overall amazing service during their visits to this establishment.
I'm not sure where chopstix actually started but for me it started in Cardiff probably 5 or 6 years ago. Good value for money with a very good variety of toppings available although this time I noticed that they have removed certian toppings like black bean chicken...price has increased a bit as well. You can bring your own drink which is a plus. Ample seating capacity with toilet facility (very clean). All in all very good experience. Just to mention that chopstix is halal as well.

Stumbled across this place as I was walking through Cribbs Causeway. I love Chinese and Pan Asian food so this place definitely stood out. I liked the idea that the food was out and ready to be served as I was looking for a quick bite to eat. However, I was not happy with the quality of the food. The texture of the chicken was very rubbery, I began to question the realness of it. The food looked much more appetising that it actually was. The service was good and price not so bad. On the whole, a disappointing experience, won’t be visiting again unfortunately.

Chim's Chinese Takeaway in Bristol is a popular spot known for its delicious and generous portions of Chinese cuisine. Customers rave about the flavorful sweet and sour Hong style chicken, special mixed chow mein, egg fried rice, and mixed appetizer. The food is praised for being hot and fresh upon pickup. Many loyal customers consider Chim's to be the best Chinese takeaway in Bristol, with some even converting their friends from other takeout spots.
Really delicious Chinese food!! Good portion sizes also. We ordered sweet and sour Hong style chicken, special mixed chow mein, egg fried rice and a mixed appetizer. Everything was so delicious and hot when we picked it up. Will definitely be coming here again!

After reading through a few comments doesn’t seem it’s just me that have had the pleasure of the rude staff. Have been using chims for years, and have recommended a lot of people!!! Ordered what I usually order ‘salt and pepper shredded chicken’ have ordered this I’d say around 20times. When I got home to find out they had given me sweet and sour pepper chicken I rung them to notify them that there order was incorrect and they swore blind that they don’t do salt and pepper shredded chicken. So 1 they should have said this on the phone when we ordered (which they didn’t) and 2 instead of admitting fault and being polite, they accused me of threatening them because I said I was going to send them a picture of one of my previous orders, the salt and pepper shredded chicken that I’ve always ordered. Complete disregard for customer satisfaction, and will not be using Chims any more and will make sure I don’t advertise their food any more. Disgusting customer service. I’ll attach a photo of what I got ( ordered two of them) and one of what I usually order (and get) from the same Chinese. Rude staff and for the sake of refunding £9 something for your error, which wasn’t even offered you have lost numerous customers. Hopefully you’ll reevaluate your employment process if your staff are unable to take a simple order, and then not be capable of dealing with a complaint.

Rude service. Requested sweet and sour sauce for spring rolls and aggressively responded to say they don’t give sauce with spring rolls. Anyway, I ate half a spring roll on their premises…. which tasted absolutely awful… of OLD OIL, COMPLETELY saturated in oil that’s been over-used!!! I didn’t even know if I was meant to chew or swallow … as in swallowing a DRINK!! maybe a good thing I didn’t get the sauce to disguise the FOOD POISONING I was gifted with!! No point in explaining to people who are highly defensive on such a small level about providing condiments (hey I was ok to pay for it as an “extra”.)… if you can’t even get the basics right on customer service.. there’s no point in even having a conversation on food poisoning that took me out of work for 2 days!!!

Nestled on Nelson Street in Bristol, the Little Chinatown Food Hall is a vibrant haven for lovers of authentic Chinese cuisine. This bustling eatery showcases an array of delectable dishes, from traditional dim sum to succulent roasts and hearty claypot meals. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, complemented by friendly staff who ensure a delightful dining experience.
Great place, unassuming and authentic. Lovely food. Big portions at competitive prices.
Ilona S — Google review
Excellent quality dimsum, not the cheapest around but worth it in my opinion. Really impressed with how much stuffing was in the dimsum, especially enjoyed the prawn ones
Paul B — Google review
We went to try the dimsum. Everything was good, but my favorite were the chicken feet and the salted egg bun. The sauce on the chicken feet was so rich. The salted egg lava inside the bun was out of this world.
Aulia D — Google review
When you arrive go up the stairs to the next floor to get to the dim sum restaurant; there appears to be a different restaurant on the ground floor. This place is wonderful; great menu, delicious food, friendly staff. They had all my favourites and then some: xiaolongbao, chicken feet, cheung fun and more! I recommend two to three dishes per person. They also have a non-dim-sum menu if you're feeling like something heartier - I loved the curried beef brisket, which came with rice and napa cabbage. I think this place is suitable for both adventurous eaters and people who like to play it safer. The menu has every dish in English and Chinese, with photographs for all dim sum dishes. Allergens aren't labelled, but when I asked about specific allergens (fish) they were very clear. They don't take bookings, but we didn't have trouble getting a table on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure if there's a lift, so I recommend calling ahead to check if you're a wheelchair user or have mobility issues.

Fantastic dim sum with a decent range of options. As someone who loves and frequents dim sum restaurants, I must say that they know how to make good prawns at this venue. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious and fresh. Their siu mai is quite good and their har gau is excellent. Our favourites are their prawn spring rolls + wontons, yeung chow fried rice and prawn cheung fan. Their prices could be a bit more affordable but they usually deliver in terms of good quality food and taste.
Rothmans101 — Google review
Nice little traditional Chinese restaurant at the second floor of the venue. Restaurant was bright and had plenty of seating. Dim sum was lovely and fresh and we had a good time.
Tung C — Google review
Every dish is very mediocre. The roast duck is not crispy; steamed pork short rib is too big and chewy; the beef in Beef Hoo Fan is too plain. And cash only.
Min Z — Google review
Here has good dim sum. It's real Hong Kong's taste. Good atmosphere. You have to book for the window seats. (It's 1st floor of the building. The ground floor doesn't sell any dim sum)

All you can eat BBQ for £23. Bossman was friendly although it gets busy and it might take long for the food to come

Placed an order for the following Satay chicken skewers - Dry and tasteless chicken with a sauce that tasted like they had ran out of satay sauce so mixed in curry to make up for it. I can make a better satay sauce at home but couldn’t be bothered after a long day at work plus overtime. Crispy seaweed- Overcooked, tasted odd, too much sugar Egg fried rice- So dry it was like eating sawdust Chicken balls- Partner said they were dry, tasted dusty Chips- Not too bad but how hard is it to mess up chips? Overall I was really disappointed, only ordered as I had a £10 discount. Wish I’d have spent the extra tenner somewhere else. Vile. Won’t order again.

I'm not a lover of spicy food, but I really enjoy the food here. Regarding the dine in taste, everything is very good. I'll recommend this restaurant (dine in, not take away) if you'd like to try the Chinese spicy / tangy food. Btw, the staff of this restaurant are really friendly.
Alex Y — Google review
Lovely family run business. Staff were friendly and the service was fast. The bbq skewers were delicious and it was cool being able to watch them getting cooked on the grill outside. Portion sizes were large and we felt it was great value for money. For 4 people it was under £70 and we left feeling really full.
George C — Google review
foreign friends love the dish, but I am only satisfied with the fish in hot chili oil. The fish is in a big portion even though fish is only on the top, the bean sprout under it is also very delicious. The noodle in the chicken sticks together. The yolk tofu tastes strange, I had thought it was very soft, tender with thick soup. The sweet and chili shredded pork is better than Wong, but not as good as I made...the beef is just the average level.
Yingxin Y — Google review
Eating buffet was super good, pork feet was amazing, bbq grilled need super delicious not to dry nor to fatty and seasoning was right on spot, mushroom and potato on stick super good seasoning. Definitely recommend to visit and get a reservation before hand. Staff is nice and food worth time.

Not good. Bland and watery sauce (ordered tofu with veg) Chewy soft crispy seed weed, felt like and tasted like it had been cooked a while ago. Won't be going back here. Such a shame we have to put up with high cost sub standard food options. A take away should be a treat, not a nightmare! The only thing going for it was speed... but that's probably because a lot of it was pre-cooked and heated up. Yuck!

We have ordered from taste of orient for years. They have always been excellent. Very surprised with a 2 hour wait via ubereats . Telephoned the store and found driver had delivered to wrong house. The gent on the phone was polite, friendly and efficient . The whole order was prepared again and arrived 20 minutes with extra items included free. The food was excellent as was the customer service.

AVOID! Liars & Thieves! Placed an order through Uber Eats last night at 7.01pm, notified at 10.01pm that order had been delivered. NO DELIVERY!! Unable to contact shop as either constantly engaged or not picking up. X3 voice messages left & still nothing. Totally unacceptable & clearly happy to steal your money. Thankfully Uber Eats has refunded my money. If I could give no stars I would. I strongly recommend thinking twice before using this establishment.

Was disappointed tonight, made an order after not having a Chinese for months. The egg fried rice was a slimey brown congealed lump which was gross and off putting. Surely egg fried rice is one of the basics?!

I thought I’d treat myself to a Chinese takeaway, ordered via the JustEat app, the prices seemed a tad high but I decided to give it a try & I’m glad I did, the quality of the food matches the price (also it’s cheaper if you buy direct) good quality ingredients, I’ll be back to try more off their menu.
Lee J — Google review
Very disappointed so last week we had ordered from here & it was a new local favourite for us, we enjoyed every part it was delicious, we ordered the same tonight, so (£100) spent in total, & the food was horrendous this evening, the egg fried rice was dark brown mushy slop with a horrible taste, the spring rolls was rock solid, chips were soggy. Aromatic spiced prawns were tasteless, sweet and sour chicken was chewy & couldn't eat it, seaweed was hard(cut your mouth hard) & had a funny taste, the only thing we were able to eat & enjoy with the chicken chow mein & curry sauce, very disappointed & I highly doubt we will order again, if the food quality was like last time we would of been regular customers but given the food we had this evening I would not reccomend.

Reasonably priced alot cheaper then some other Chinese takeaway around here. Food came piping hot and extra tasty, what ever you use in the curry sauce aswell was beautiful. Thankyou!

Best Chinese take away for vegetarians that I've come across in Bristol. I first tried this place out about a year ago and it was ok but nothing special. Very impressed with how much they be upped the quality of the food and they delivered in just over 30 minutes on a Friday night. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
Emu81 — Google review
The website was on default, the company should get their website checked in if they cannot deliver to certain areas, in fact while ordering the food, it accepted the order and received a phone call saying they can’t deliver. They will have to refund or will have to come collect it but while asking for refund for the delivery, they just did not accept it.Instead offered spring rolls, it’s not about the money it’s about the level of professionalism and the inconvenience it caused us. When asked to speak to a manger, the lady decide to hang up the phone, the worst customer service. It definitely ruined the dinner and now wait for refund policy which takes 10 days as suggested by the lady. This was the most horrible customer experience ever received! Does not even deserve one star.

I ordered and it arrived early even though I was expecting a 45 minute wait. The mushroom chow mein was great with plenty of spring onions and a rich sauce. I ordered the Hunan sea spicy chicken and I think it's my new favourite Chinese dish. Nice and hot but so many flavours! It was soooo nice and I will definitely order again!

Avoid at all costs! Most unlike me not to check reviews before trying a new takeaway, wish I did. Worst food ever! Cold on arrival, veggie curry was like gravy with no taste. Chips were cold and dry. Thank goodness i did'nt have meat cos there is no way it would have been a safe temperature. You can't go wrong cooking this style of food. Definitely not returning. Take notice of your reviews, you need to up your game.

First time ordering food from this takeaway. Overall. Very disappointed. Crispy chili beef wasn't very spicy and was lacking any flavour. Lemon chicken was salty. And the sweet and sour want very sweet or sour, but very watered down and tasteless. Such a shame. Will not be ordering from here again. The star rating on Just Eat is massively overrated. Read the comments first!
Jon C — Google review
First time I've used this takeaway and the last, Chips completely cold & stale, curry sauce was like slime, with no curry flavour at all. Crispy beef tasted gone off, and literally gave me the squirts. Hands down "THE" worst Chinese meal I've had in years. Completely rank. Going be the bad reviews I can see why too. Seriously if your not happy in your job sell up.
Fur B — Google review
VERY POOR!!!!! I am really disappointed to be writing this as I've used this Chinese for along time and have mostly enjoyed the food, but the last 4 meals that I've had have been shockingly awful! The chicken and meat have been so dry and the spare ribs have been even dryer, it's almost like they have been using up the leftovers from the previous day! As I've enjoyed the food in the past I kept giving them another chance, but no more! I have rang them twice to complain, but all I got was 'I will let the kitchen know ' and was rushed off the phone, so their customer service is pretty rubbish as well. A takeaway is a treat and expensive nowadays, so you would expect it to be enjoyable! So, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone at the moment unless they change their chef!!!
Kate Y — Google review
Have ordered food from here for 7 years. I ordered 3 dishes & spring roll. Just taking the lids off the chicken chow mein & beef with pineapple i was hit in the nostrils with a smell of chemicals. The food tasted like cardboard, the beef was not fresh at all & had a greyish tint over it. The sweet & sour balls tasted stale, the s&s sauce wasn't sweet what so ever. I've never spat food out in my life but this was unpalatable. Sadly i shall not be a returning customer. Honestly, it's a waste of money & food.
Kim M — Google review
We ordered via Just Eat and the food arrived promptly. Portion sizes were good and the food was still hot enough to eat. We ordered Malysian this time and the food was a bit spicier than I was used to be still fresh and tasty. Prices were normal although the vegetable side dishes were a bit pricier than other takeaways.
Marcus H — Google review
I would give them no stars if it was an option, meals cold, 25 minutes late, sweet and sour vegetable's were a joke a thin sauce you would struggle to identify as anything specific and probably half a raw carrot, a single chunk of pineapple and some partly cooked pepper and some huge onion chunks. I don't usually write reviews but this food was so appalling I want to warn others not to waste there money. Most of it ended up in the bin where it deserved to be.

Fresh Roast Bristol is a charming little eatery that captures the essence of traditional Cantonese cuisine. With its cozy setup and a few tables, it’s perfect for a quick lunch or takeaway. I recently indulged in their Friday Treat lunch special, opting for the Szechuan Chicken with egg fried rice, and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size and delightful flavors. The service was impressively swift, making it an ideal spot to avoid long queues during your midday break.
The food here is brilliant, owners are nice, the only thing is that there are not many seats to dine in but it is worth it.

Popped in here for Friday Treat lunch - I'd walked past earlier in the week and had thought oo the lunch deal sounds good. So today I went in and was delighted I did. I picked up a lunch special of Szechuan Chicken with egg fried rice (large). It was delicious, really good portion, good value for money and service was speedy too. Staff very friendly. Nothing worse than spending a lunch time in a queue! Will definitely be back to try the roast meats & for lunch another Friday. If you are around Kingsdown & fancy a super tasty lunch, then I'd recommend.
Roly H — Google review
Their lunch deals are super worth it. Got this roast meat (crackling pork) + rice for £6. You also get chili oil if you ask! They’ve also got a different lunch special that I must go back to try. Pork was tasty and cooked perfectly. The only thing I’d love is if the rice was boiled in chicken stock rather than plain rice (but that’s just me being nit picky). They do have an option for you to change the rice to fried rice for 50p. Might try that option next time.

Dao Chao is a new bottomless brunch spot in Bristol that has quickly gained popularity. Located at Broad Quay, it offers one of the cheapest bottomless brunch deals in the area at 25.95. The restaurant serves traditional Chinese cuisine with a modern Western twist, making it a unique dining experience. Customers have praised the lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor, including a picturesque flower wall perfect for photos. The portion sizes are generous and offer great value for money.
Such a lovely spot for a bite to eat, the atmosphere is lovely and all the decor is gorgeous (Make sure to get a photo with the flower wall at the front of the restaurant.) We enjoyed a few course and shared between 2 of us was definitely enough the portion sizes are good for the price. All taste fresh and so much flavour I even liked the fact the chow mein packed a bit of a punch. Sydney served us and she was so friendly and bubbly she is definitely an asset to the team a big warm welcome always sets the standards of a meal before you have even been seated. We will definitely return again, see you soon!

Very mid experience here, friendly staff but food below par. Bland flavours and a very westernised Chinese menu. None of the food that came out was very hot either and we were one of only 2 or 3 tables in the place, seemed to take a while too. Cocktails were on point though and a good 2 for 1 happy deal would recommend for drinks but not for food! The prawn toast had the absolute thinnest layer of prawn on, go to Mayflower if you want a proper tasty Chinese.

What a stunning experience. Had a lovely early evening treat, pre-theatre. Their new menu is just amazing. I will definitely be coming here again. Very happy guest!
Matthew B — Google review
After an unsuccessful visit a couple of weeks ago we were invited back to try again and we had a lovely time. Tom our server was excellent and provided great service and we had a lovely meal. The music was great and the decor is modern and contemporary. The menu is not overly complicated and there are some familiar dishes along with Bao buns which seems popular at the moment. If you are looking for an authentic Chinese experience then that's not here, it's a more modern feel but a good spot for a pre theatre bite or drinks with friends. It's not the cheapest but it's a city centre location! The ladies toilet could do with some attention to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the place. Overall we enjoyed our visit and hope they continue to improve.

Shockingly bad service the moment I walked through the door. Was overcharged and when I queried this she huffed and told me it's an old menu. I still felt it was too expensive and turns out item was incorrectly ordered which I was charged extra for. Once this was established and her rolling her eyes she was more interested in her phone. She refunded some changed harshly in the palm of my hand. At this point I told her she is being rude. Chicken balls were lovely but chips seemed like they were this afternoons. Ordered on line for delivery. 60 minutes later order arrived. Had specified no peppers because of allergies. Food contained peppers. Sauce from fritters had leaked all over contents of bag, one container empty. Called up about it, person who answered very defensive, claimed that I had not specified no peppers and constantly telling me to calm down. Was called back twice and in second call was offered replacements for the dishes that contained peppers but was told to state no peppers next time, I did this time. No good when the rest of the meal would be cold by the time it arrived. A long wait for the food, didn't get what I ordered, sauce container empty abd wasn't treated with a modicum of respect. Never again.

Laughing Buddah is a Chinese restaurant in Bristol that offers a varied and imaginative menu. Customers have praised the delicious and hot food, as well as the great customer service. It is known for its tasty crispy duck, good portion sizes, reasonable prices, and being open until 11pm. This place has been described as a good find and the best Chinese chip shop in North Bristol.
Saw a kid doing homework at the back the moment I stepped in. that's how I knew the food was gonna be phenomenal. Credits to the girl in glasses who took my order. She was super nice. Food came within 6-7 minutes

This time, I ordered my personal favourite dish, Special Chow Mein, which was dry and lacking in juice or sauce. It also didn't have the sliced chicken and pork that were supposed to be on top, and the bean shoots were barely there, so there was no fresh crunch from the beans instead of just a pile of fairly dehydrated noodles. I'm not going to order this from this place again. Unfortunately not happy !
Donvi C — Google review
We ordered a £54 order. The food didn't arrive so we called the restaurant. We weren't called and apparently the address was incorrect so we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food and they made us pay £3 extra for redelivery when it wasn't our fault. The most outrageous thing about this is that there was a piece of chicken in the vegetarian Singapore chow mein. This is gross contamination and any self respecting kitchen would never allow this. Its disgusting. All my life as a vegetarian for religious reasons and I found my food was contaminated with meat so I could not eat any of my food! Outrageous and so incompetent. Who knows how the kitchen staff handle food properly! The dish is advertised as vegetarian. A gross contamination like this in a other case could kill someone if they are allergic. Terrible, so disappointed.

Purchased Singapore fried rice and king prawn in oyster sauce. The rice was just ok but there was zero sauce added to the oyster sauce I received. I was just eating raw vegetable and the broccoli isn’t fresh too. It was weird because I have purchased this type of meal several places and this one isn’t just it . I wanted to call them back but just let it go, Not a nice experience.

We have used Laughing Buddha on many occasions and not had a problem but my experience tonight means I will never order from them again. Placed an order on their own website and the order was confirmed on the website. However, I did not get an email confirmation of the order. I called them to ask them to confirm whether they had received the order. The guy said he would check and phone back. When he called back he told me that they had not had the order. I sent him proof of payment and he refused to place our order. I was told that I would have to place my order again on line and pay again and I could claim a refund at a later date. When I said I was concerned that I was being scammed and that I wanted my food or money refunded they hung up on me. Phoned back and asked for a refund which they refused to do until the next day. Whilst on the phone arguing my case our food miraculously appeared on the doorstep. So they did have the order that they were so adamant they hadn’t received. This is a blatant attempt at trying to scam extra money from us.

Always like this place and usually have set meals for two or more. On this occasion I ordered a favorite of mine, Special Chow Mein which was dry with no juice or sauce, there were no sliced chicken and pork on top as described, also it was very lacking in bean shoots, they we're hardly noticeable meaning no fresh crunch of bean shoots, just a pile of fairly dry noodles. I won't be ordering this again from here. It was tasty enough and was hot, delivery was ahead of time too. Can't fault this establishment other than this one meal was just not up to standard.

Luc's Chinese Takeaway offers a satisfactory dining experience, although it may not be considered the best option. If you have a craving for Chinese cuisine, this place is worth considering. The staff is extremely friendly, particularly the lady who takes orders over the phone. The portions are ample and reasonably priced compared to competitors in the area. However, some dishes didn't quite meet expectations. The chicken sweetcorn soup was overly thick and required diluting with water.
Luc's Chinese has been one of the best things of my everyday life living in Bristol. The food is always good, the staff is super friendly, the waiting time is reasonable and the prices are incredibly good. I will miss this place so much as I've now moved away. It is recommended with all of my heart, and a tip is to order the aromatic crispy duck. Yum!! Can't wait to come back to Bristol and visit Luc's again.
Karolina W — Google review
Great food, friendly staff. Of course thee are some dishes altered to suit local tastes, but then, I know what I'm ordering. Food tastes authentic and reminds me of home, a very high compliment for a takeaway. I recommend the fried rices and Singaporean stir fried vermicelli, as well as the crispy shredded lamb and the fried squid with chillies. (I've tried many, many items on the menu and none disappoint).
Joe L — Google review
This was a good experience, not the best but alright if you feel like a chinese take out. The staff was super friendly! Especially the lady who took the order on the phone. Portions were generous and prices were competitive, but we just didn’t love the food. The chicken sweetcorn soup was too thick (and we had to water it down), the prawn chowmein was really dry and the chicken szechuan was just okay. Overall, good but unfortunately not entering our “regular” take outs.
Nikita K — Google review
Very well priced, tasty Chinese food that always comes faster than expected. Special shout out to their delivery guy who is honestly the nicest delivery person I've ever had - so polite and kind. Local favourite for me.
Ash P — Google review
Always very friendly and the speed of service is always excellent. It almost goes without saying that I love the food too! I recommend the hot and sour soup, beef in oyster sauce, fried squid with garlic and chilli - in fact pretty much anything I've had is really nice. Easily one of the best Chinese takeaways I've encountered. Just wish it opened on Monday and Tuesdays too!
Ian S — Google review
I wish I could rate it 0 but the system wouldn't allow me. I ordered crispy rice noodles and to my shocking surprise I recieved uncooked noodles, very dry and weird. Please be careful when you order food go and collect your food and check before you take away your food.
Abreham M — Google review
The good is nice. Staff are friendly.... However sometimes they don't open which is frustrating. And I ordered a tofu fish which was thickened too much for me. And the chips are lovely but never cooked enough for me
Kevin — Google review
I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding service received. We ordered from Luc's yesterday evening and not only the food was delicious but also the service was amazing! My house is tricky to find and the person who delivered the order found it very quickly and has been really professional, kind and lovely! Thanks a lot guys! Receiving such a good service made the food taste even better.

I’ve recently moved to Bristol and tried the local Chinese as you do! The food was excellent and tasted fresh, was warm, packed with flavour! The person whom served us was very polite and helped recommend some dishes! Highly recommend if haven’t tried!
Scott E — Google review
Just checking the opening times and thought I would leave a review while I am here. Consistently excellent for the 10+ years we have been patrons. Can not remember a bad meal. Highly recommend the pancake rolls (old school big ones, none of that mini pancake roll nonsense), prawn toast (proper chucks of prawns), Crispy Chilli Beef, Won Ton, Chicken Balls.... Yeah, pretty much the whole menu.
Kris B — Google review
We asked for what the owners recommend and it was fantastic. The portions were brilliant, very flavoursome with great balance. The meat was beautifully tender and the crispy kale was stunning. We had beef black bean, dry ribs, king prawn, noodle soup, crispy kale among other bits and bobs. Honestly the best chinese I've had in a long time! Thank you Chan's!
Joshua R — Google review
Bought a takeaway meal for 2, not as good as Vein's Palace on Kellaway Avenue, not particularly tasty and contained far more vegetables than meat.
Ian A — Google review
The staff are so lovely and friendly. We just had the nicest Chinese takeaway, all the ingredients were clearly fresh. Absolutely delicious
Rupert S — Google review
The banana fritter and the prawn crackers were good. The sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style was terrible - a strong vermillion colour and stale taste - just not fresh seemed to have been prepared hours/days in advance, colour and taste were off putting. 1/4 of aromatic duck so-so with chunky slices of cucumber. Waited 20+ minutes, no interaction or update. VERY DISAPPOINTING food. I am surprised at other good reviews, perhaps other people are reviewing the other Chan i.e. Chan's Chow on Kellaway Avenue and choosing the wrong address for their review! I will have to try Chan's Chow to see if they are the good takeaway!
C C — Google review
Nice rice and chips but the main dishes were really bad. Crispy chilli chicken had like a spicy cheap ketchup and the duck dish had a really nasty taste and barely any sauce. Got a pot of satay sauce too which was bland with no peanut taste. Really disappointed so we'll go back to our usual, Golden Gate on the high street.
Bevan N — Google review
Have ordered many take aways for myself and all of my family for many years and have never once had to complain. The service is great and the staff always cheerful and the place looks really clean. Would not go anywhere else uncles they are closed.

Have been going to Jasmine for over 6 years now, and it’s obvious why. Run by the loveliest people, and the food is amazing too! Second to none in Bristol. All great prices, amazing service and always quick to deliver! Cannot recommend Jasmine enough. Is a definite must try!
Pratik G — Google review
I've Ordered from here twice and waited an hour for delivery, then they cancelled my order both times and by the time they let my know they are had cancelled everywhere else was closed !
Gemma W — Google review
Food was absolutely disgusting. Had no taste at all, chips were completely soggy & portion sizes of the hongkong style chicken was disgusting for the price, and to add it also had 0 taste too. My pancake roll was also burnt & tasted like it had been charcoaled. Definitely would not recommend or order again.
Emily B — Google review
Excellent food. Really fresh and nicely spiced. Nice people, too
Terryl B — Google review
Never have I had a chicken curry so bland it's the worst one I've ever had just chicken in a mushy sauce 🤮 took an hour and ten minites to come. What a big disappointment save your money
Tracy — Google review
Definitely the worst Szechuan Chicken and Beef in Blackbean Sauce I’ve ever had. Both dishes didn’t taste like any Szechuan or Blackbean dish I’ve had previously from other Chinese takeaways (both have a distinctive taste and flavour). Best way I can describe what Jasmine provided? well the dishes tasted as if the takeaway were missing some ingredients and they decided to put together some Frankenstein dish hoping I wouldn’t notice. Anyway, very disappointed as I couldn’t finish the food because of the odd taste. Best advice for anyone reading this is that Bristol has loads of Chinese takeaways so I’d encourage you to order from elsewhere. I certainly won’t be ordering from here again. P.S I only ordered from here because they were the only Chinese takeaway delivering at the time of placing the order. This reason along with the free prawn crackers is why I’ve not rated them 1 star.
Altab J — Google review
Always friendly and will usually give free prawn crackers, which is a nice touch. The food is good and the chicken in the special fried rice is lovely. I really enjoy their sweet and sour sauce.
Annie — Google review
We ordered £27 worth of food on Monday 1st Oct. we were told delivery time was 40 mins. It arrived 1 hour 20 mins later. The order was wrong instead of chicken chow mien they sent a ‘special’ this was for my 92 year old mother who doesn’t eat anything else! The quality of the food was poor. We rang to complain on the day but person on line didn’t seem to understand problem and kept repeating the order wasn’t wrong. I rang next day to speak to manager/ owner. Was told he want in but left my contact number for him to call me. He didn’t. I called shop again this time I was given his contact details. But again no joy. My family was in the catering business for years and I would rather be told personally if there was a problem rather than on a review page. However having read some of these reviews Mayer shouldn’t have ordered in the first place!! Certainly won’t be doing so again. The bin had an expensive fill that night !!!!! We

Our "go to" Chinese locally in the Henleaze area. The menu is massive and the portions are great. Also priced very well and tastes great.
Gary P — Google review
I went there this evening for a basic meal. I asked for a chicken dish with half rice and half chips. Pretty basic for a Chinese takeaway right? I was told no, we don't do that in a very direct way - they used to. I ended up, with no explanation as to why with a decent chicken dish with cold chips and no rice at all. For a whopping £9.50. The next time I'm that hungry I'll go to the Tesco express just up the road for a £3.50 microwave meal, which will be just as nice if not better. Avoid, sad to say. They were never particularly friendly to be honest, but at least the food used to be good value when you're hungry.
Andy M — Google review
Order took nearly two hours, food was dry. Chicken balls burned and egg friend rice not great. Phoned to ask where my delivery was and they were quite rude. Wouldn’t recommend
Andrew E — Google review
This is our go-to Chinese takeaway for a few years now, food is great and they accept card payments too.
Nick — Google review
I use them at least twice a month. Very quick to deliver, great tasting food and good value for money.

Always delivered hot and very quickly Great portions Staff always lovely on the phone and delivery drivers always polite and courteous x
Jan P — Google review
Positives: generous portions, quick delivery, fried rice, fried noodles, crispy beef, banana fritter were good. Crispy chicken and crispy squid, crispy tofu - a bit too much cornflour used, making the chicken and tofu a bit too hard and the squid a bit soggy. Duck with pineapple wasn't the best, clear sauce.
Andy H — Google review
Well, that’s my first time visiting the restaurant. Service was good, but I’m trying to get used to the meal

Fantastic Chinese takeaway place. Definitely one of the best in Bristol! I tend to order through Just-Eat most of the time but if I ever need to call, the staff are so friendly and helpful and they are very good to you if they are ever late. The food, needless to say, is so good. I have tried many places around the Bristol looking for a decent Chinese place but for takeaway, this is definitely my favourite!
Keisuke S — Google review
Excellent quality food and nice service. Even on a Saturday evening I’ve been served very quickly and the portions are generous. The rice boxes are excellent value and unlike other Chinese takeaways I’ve been to, they don’t scrimp on the meat, the balance between meat and veg is very good. Highly recommend.
Tom B — Google review
First, the staff was extremely friendly; originally I had ordered the house special fried rice, and my gentleman was hoping to order boiled rice with the house special instead with the meat and veg on top instead of combined with the rice, something they don't usually do, but went ahead and made an exception. We had also ordered the crab and sweetcorn soup, the hot and sour soup, and the salt and pepper wings. The hot and sour soup was probably the best we'd ever had!! You can taste that they used a good stock whereas most takeaways in London don't. The wings had a nice consistency; similar to American fried chicken though with a different flavor. I could go on and on, but at the end of the day, every part of the meal was absolutely wonderful! Quaint little takeaway, will absolutely be visiting again!
Heather B — Google review
This take away was recommended to us when we moved in nearby and now I want to recommend it too! I am quite a fussy eater and dont give out compliments easily but the food here is first class. I am vegetarian and the homemade tofu is fantastic and the rice is perfectly fluffy and tasty! The food here doesnt taste greasy like other Chinese take aways I have been too and they have good portion sizes. The staff are always really happy, friendly and willing to help as well!
Sarah S — Google review
Loads of vegan friendly options which have all been delicious. The salt and pepper tofu and mushroom ho fun are two of our regular favourites. They always have the food ready at the given time. Delicious and reasonable price.

One of the best Chinese takeaways in Bristol. Delicious food. Very fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Try their homemade ho fun noodles - you won’t be disappointed!

Best Chinese I've ever had in my life food never disappointed me staff very kind always on time. Special fried rice is amazing Also the crispy auromatic duck is divine Food never greasy clean place can't praise it enough!!!! You will not be disappointed !!

If you are vegan, then you really need to go to this place! They make their own tofu, so it is actually as it is supposed to be, and the lady who works on the counter is welcoming, personable and speaks excellent English! Plus, when you ask if something is vegan, they actually know what it means and don't look at you like you have just arrived from Mars. Go!

Excellent old fashioned Chinese and chip shop. Curry sauce is worth the trip for and been consistent for 20 years!! All the classic dishes. Remember it’s cash only 😉

Ordered a range of different foods been visiting for over 6 years and unsure why the quality of food has gone down hill so quickly. I did call up to ask why such poor quality with no answer, won’t be visiting again now.

Been coming here yrs but cause I moved haven't been here for a while .Very disappointed bought special chow mein & wow I should of just bought a plain one as there was the most tiny bits of meat in it ,so small I could work out what meat it was .Rediculas charging that for barely any meat . I will never be back again unfortunately. I know times are hard but that was a joke ! .

I visited this Chinese takeaway tonight, before our long drive home, after going to the zoo with my family. The owner was happy to let us use their table and chairs and sit in and eat, instead of taking away. The meals were delicious and my kids loved their chicken and noodles with prawn crackers. Really nice Chinese food and good hospitality.
Dawn C — Google review
Really great, can’t recommend enough! The food was fantastic and very affordable. We ordered by phone and it was ready for us to pick up in 20 minutes which was fab! The woman who served me was great, very professional and kind. They even gave us a free pepsi max and prawn crackers because we placed a large order! I will definitely be returning.
Holly C — Google review
Best chinese food I've had in Bristol. The sweet and sour pork was perfect. The sauce was authentic, the pork was crisp, melting in your mouth with each bite. Really fried to perfection. The beef brisket rice was excellent too. Perfectly tender, and not stringy. Sauce was nice, very homey vibe to it. Makes me regret not ordering the noodles. Excellent meal, I'm really happy.
Nick O — Google review
The cashier was friendly, but the king prawn fried rice I had was unfortunately lacking in flavour - the rice was too dry and bland. There were quite a few prawns though, and the portion overall was nice. At £4.9, you get what you pay for, I reckon.
Monica W — Google review
Good Cantonese-style takeaway with a wide range of selections. Good price compared to other takeaways with similar portion sizes. Convenient location and opening hours (open until 11pm). Friendly staff. Only thing is food can be a bit salty depending on the dish.
Cherrie K — Google review
Literally the best Chinese takeaway in whole of Bristol. Friendly, efficient service. Cheap tasty food. Couldn’t ask for more. They haven’t been open for a few weeks now, hopefully everything is ok. Sending my best wishes to the family.
Gia N — Google review
Brilliant as always! No MSG unlike a lot of other takeaways in Bristol so you can actually taste the ingredients! Not greasy or slimy. Good quality meat and Beef Brisket noodle soup is to die for!
Ella W — Google review
Been ordering for over a decade. Suffers in peak hours on delivery times. But the food still arrives piping hot and satisfying. Check their 'specials', in particular the Hofan. Otherwise, the chips are perhaps my most preferred in Bristol. I'll sometimes stack the rest of the delivery with drinks just to get the chips for a night w/ the lads!
