A decent bar right on the water front, a little pricey and we were not told the total before having to pay by card. Would have been a 5 star but any venue that does not value cash customers looses a star from me. Nice Cider try a pint and watch the people go past.

The service was decent; staff were friendly and attentive enough. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to expectations. The burgers, in particular, were a big letdown: overcooked, lacking flavor. With such a prime location, it’s a shame the kitchen doesn’t match the atmosphere. Worth a visit for a drink and the view, but I’d skip the food.

We came here for breakfast on a weekend away and were pleasantly surprised. The eggs Benedict were fabulous, coffee spot on and all staff members were super helpful with prompt service. Would recommend. Thanks to Connor and your team.

Stopped by here for a drink on Wednesday 5th November. The staff were really friendly and efficient. You can bring your dog in, and when she saw ours she immediately came over with a bowl of water.

Recently visited and was immediately uncomfortable at the way some of the staff were being spoken to. I've never left a review before and I'm a real believer in encouraging independent business in Bristol which was why we found and wanted to try this venue. We swung by on our way to The Hippodrome but, after our experience so soon after walking in we decided we'd rather have an ale elsewhere. It's a shame as it seems like it could be a nice spot.

Interesting flavours! Definitely worth a try to explore vegetarian dishes with hints of familiar tastes. The house bread is a 10/10, airy and chewy bread with a crispy salty crust. The kohlrabi dish was delightfully fresh and my favourite would be the grilled leek dish, though I was not the biggest fan of the smoky flavour since it tasted quite strong. The pork chops could be a little more tender, but it paired wonderfully with the refreshing tomatoes on the plate. We ordered a pavlova to share for dessert and it was a lovely light and sweet treat to end the meal.

So so good! I love that the vegetarian/vegan options are more plentiful than the meat & fish! The food was absolutely delicious and the location+atmosphere was just perfect for a sunny evening in Bristol. Will hopefully be back again 💜

What an amazing place! Their rosemary bread is addictive and the smoked beetroot was possibly the best veggie dish I have ever eaten. Everything was prepared with care and great attention. Great spot if around or visiting Bristol.

We really love this place. This is our second time visiting (for my partners 40th birthday celebrations) and although we preferred the dishes from our first visit overall, we still didn’t leave disappointed. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and it’s such a pleasant change to be spoilt for choice on the veggie options. Love what this place is doing and hope it never leaves!!!

I had a great experience at this buffet restaurant today! There was a wide variety of food options, from fresh salads and hot dishes to a selection of live cooking stations, which really made the meal more enjoyable. Everything was well-presented and kept fresh, and I especially appreciated the dishes being cooked to order right in front of you. The quality of the food was impressive, and the flavors were delicious across the board. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience even better. So far, this is the best buffet I’ve had in the UK – great value for money and definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back again!

This was my second time visiting the restaurant and I had a great experience at this buffet restaurant. There are a variety of food cuisines available like salads, Indian, Chinese , Mexican, desert. There are live counters on most of the cuisines where you can get your food hot served. The quality of the food, atmosphere was very good and the staff were very friendly too. I will visit again

This far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food considering it caters for the masses was excellent. Lots of choice for vegetarians. You have to get a ticket from the desk on the ground floor before going upstairs to wait to be seated. This isn’t clearly signposted and the person on the desk key is walk straight upstairs where we queued for 10 mins to be told to go back downstairs first. The noise level is a lot. It’s a busy place but the music makes it hard to enjoy a conversation. Overall, great value, would return.

There was an amazing selection of food ranging from Chinese to Mexican to Indian etc. The Chinese section was unreal and so was the Indian and the chicken. There were quite a few foods that we were appalled by, for example the deadly, radioactive Mac & cheese… looks can be deceiving to say the least, pasta station wasn’t too good either, the variety was good but the execution not so much. The desserts were lush a highlight being the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fountain. In terms of atmosphere all was good. The lady that took our drinks order was very pleasant, however the customer service of the live chefs was poor, and felt hostile. Also disappointed there were No tacos 💔 Come here if you want a full stomach but don’t expect amazing quality.

Just visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was worth every penny spent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The dessert selection was impressive! This place is bonkers (in a great way!) We visited mid week (but during half term) and it was extremely busy. We booked a table for 12:00 when it opened and there was still a queue of people waiting to get in. When we left at around 1:30 there were approximately 200 people waiting to get in. The food is better than I was expecting and was always very fresh and hot regardless of the 'zone' that I was choosing food from. The bar offers a good range of drinks options and the cocktails that we bought were very good. When we visited, the cost for lunch was £13.99 a head, this seemed very good value indeed. Definitely worth a visit but make sure that you book in advance ........

The burgers were juicy and absolutely delicious, and the fries were great as well. We got the lunch deal, which offers excellent value. Service was quick and efficient, you order through a scanned QR code. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating, and there are toilets available for customers too. They serve the food on metallic plates, which felt like a nostalgic throwback, definitely added to the experience. A solid spot for a casual and satisfying meal.

One of the best burger places in Bristol. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. The lunch deal (available Mon-Fri) at £7.50 for burger and fries is great value, what more can you ask for? QR code ordering is also convenient.

Enjoyed both the burger and the cider even though I am not into cider. The breaded pickle 🥒 side dish with dill mayo was brilliant.

Absolutely outstanding place! The burgers were amazing! Drink choices were also excellent! Great setting and great atmosphere! Can’t stop thinking about this place - we will be back!! We got a text about 10 minutes after ordering saying our order hadn’t gone through which was impressive. Not sure why but it said to contact the team so we did and it was sorted quickly. Allergies wise it says on some of the menu items but not all. It also says in the notes to add it to the specific item but when you tried to do that for my burger you couldn’t see the allergies or add notes. Luckily at the end of the order you have “special requests” section for the whole order (which says not to add allergy notes here but as there was nowhere else that’s where we had to do it) and we added the note there instead. Staff said to add it to the order this way so at least it was on there and they’d let the kitchen know. The fries don’t come with the burger so we shared some as it was a little pricey but still well worth it!

Really tasty burgers - almost toooo tasty 😅 the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the soggy bun due to the amount of grease. The crispy onions were to die for and would have just a giant bowl of those if it were available. Like many other reviews I can’t really justify the service charge considering we sat outside and ordered from a QR code on the table. There was minimal interaction with staff which I don’t really mind, but just doesn’t justify the service charge.

We have been to Three Bros several times prior to going to performances at the Bristol Old Vic. You cannot book a table for groups below 8 but every time we arrive, the greeting is friendly, quick and we have rarely ever waited. There is table service but for a quicker experience, use the QR code and order via phone. It works and is quick. Servers are very friendly and helpful, so will happily take your order. We love the fact that iced still water is offered on arrival (a US dining standard that is sadly missed in the UK) and quickly delivered. Food is very tasty, fresh and might take a touch longer if you have customised your burger/dog, the wait is not long at all. Again, we are always impressed by the fun and friendly interactions with the Servers. Can recommend the Umami Crazy Burger, Caesar Salad side and the crispy jalapenos. The chicken burgers are superb too, especially when you add the crispy onions. Consistent, great quality and fun place to eat. Still one of our favourites. Thank you.

This place is a gem. Came here many years ago on holiday and seeing as I was in the area again, decided to visit. Wasn't disappointed at all. Asked if I wanted table service or to order via the app and also if I wanted water at the table as well. Ordered the lunchtime offer of burger and chips which took 10 to 15 minutes, which I assume meant that everything was cooked to order. Chips were crispy and fluffy and the burger was juicy and really full of flavour. Staff were very friendly and the music in the background was perfectly loud enough and added to the atmosphere of this restaurant. Highly recommended

Had a great lunch here!! The olives of course were delicious, we had a lovely special of tomatoes on feta with dried olives as well I think which was truly incredible! Tapas sharing!!

We first tried to visit a couple of weeks ago but ended up leaving after sitting outside for 25 minutes without receiving menus. We decided to give it another go on a Friday night. This time, we were seated quickly and given menus, which was a much better start. When ordering, we tried to flag some dietary requirements, but the waitress mentioned she had a lot to remember and might need to come back. While we completely understand it was a busy evening, it did leave us feeling slightly odd. The food did not meet our expectations. The fries, at £7, were a very small portion with just a dusting of chili powder, and the charcuterie board felt more like something pre-packaged from a Tesco. The shin was tough, and the bread, when it eventually arrived, tasted a little stale. Oddly, the bread came after every other dish, and we had to ask for it. We also ordered hummus, which never arrived, but was still on the bill and had to be removed. In general the portions were really overpriced for low quality and quantity. It’s a lovely location with a lot of potential, but overall, it gave the impression of a spot that may rely on tourist footfall rather than returning customers.

We had a gorgeous lunch here for a low-key celebration of my friends engagement, the food was stunning, really delicious and great sized portions for Tapas. Service was lovely, and very patient with us as we took our time on deciding on dishes. We will absolutely be back.

Delicious and authentic flavours of the Med. A lovely spot by the harbour with friendly staff and great drinks. The white sangria was a hit and a fresh pint of local lager is always a winner. The jamón croquetas, lamb kofta with green tahini sauce and classic padrón peppers + patatas bravas were all delicious. Unfussy and letting the flavours do the work. If you had to chose between another well known Spanish influenced restaurant nearby and Olive Shed I can recommend the latter… wish I’d known sooner!

well not the best place of coffee. We waited 20 minutes for 2 coffees. They brought just one at the beginning with no dish, no spoon, only the cup. Then after 5 minutes they brought the other hot chocolate which instead of hot chocolate it was hot milk. Prices are not that cheap for what you get served (3,60 each). And also it came already spilled over the cup on some parts. Service could be improved.

I was looking forward to trying some food from a 100% vegan cafe, unfortunately i had to wait almost 50 minutes for my food to arrive. I would understand this wait time if it was busy but it wasn’t. Once my food arrived, the member of staff threw it down on the table and stormed off. I love lettuce but as you can see from the photo, the lettuce was bigger than the burger itself and I found the burger to be quite dry

We had two delicious fully vegan breakfasts, and amazing coffee. The staff were really friendly, and its in a great location in the heart of Stokes Croft. Twenty years open this year, heres to twenty more. We’ll be back for the Biscoff brownies later :)

Superb find. Vegan, locally sourced, community orientated and inexpensive. We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan burger and sandwiches on granary bread. Update: Most recent visit. Cafe Kino is going from strength to strength, not only surviving but even thriving. The food options have grown and are more varied than ever. Highly recommended; The smashed green pea and aubergine tempura on sourdough. An essential space.

Went here with a friend and we both had an amazing meal, only dropped the food to 4 stars as my friends steak was over salted, otherwise it was great. The staff were also lovely, really attentive and friendly, just what you want.

We had a simple but delicious breakfast on Sunday morning in this stunning building. No rush and relaxed service was just what we needed. Sadly we'd eaten our meals before I took any photos but do enjoy the pics of inside and outside We'll come back for cocktails in the evening next time in the basement with it's iconic bar ("Play it nice and cool")

Went for the Sunday brunch at The Granary and it was outstanding. The spread of salads, meats, and vegetables was so fresh and well put together. The lamb and the dill-crusted salmon were absolutely delicious. Even the little touches like the hummus, deviled eggs, squash with sesame, and the beet salad were spot on. Such a great brunch experience

Having heard about the great buffet on Sunday lunch I decided to give it a try for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. Lots of choice of all sorts of food, freshly baked bread. Yum! And a few desserts at the end to round it all off including my favourite - lemon posset. Highly recommended

Wanted to go for well over a year and finally visited The Granary on the weekend. I never usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to share this one. The food was okay, the bun on the breakfast muffin was great and so was the bacon. However the salad was very underwhelming. For 17£ you get not even 100g of chicken, I had 3 pieces smaller then half of my thumb. The grilled peppers were a nice addition to the flavour, but for a “main” you barely get any food. And I don’t think it deserves the name “chicken salad”. The service was a mixed experience as well. Two members of staff were incredibly nice, but one was quite cold and a little bit rude, which made my overall impression worse. The place itself is very nice, the vibes are very cosy and the cappuccino was perfect. So overall, a 3/5 seems like a fair rating.

The restaurant has a warm and relaxing feel with a good level of lighting and plenty of space between the tables. We'd been planning to visit for dinner for quite a while so we were really looking forward to it. We were rather taken aback by the wine prices with a bottle of red or white starting g at £40 so we plumped for a 500 ml carafe. We shared a flat bread, fried korean chicken and frito misto to start with, the frito misto was very bland, the batter was poorly seasoned, the flatbread was light and delicious and chicken rather good so off to not a bad start. Howeve, the flat iron steaks with Pedro Ximenez sauce were rather dissapointing, and certainly not as tender as wed hoped and i found the sauce personally a little over powering and acidic. They'd run out of the Pierre Koffman fries so we were offered bay seasoned fries, so the dish overall didn't quite live up to our expectations. The bill was over £110 and we both came away feeling a little underwhelmed

Visited for the third time this week. I’ve now been for, breakfast on my own: Lots of other solo diners so I felt perfectly comfortable, the homemade milk buns are to die for. dinner with friends: love the table in front of the kitchen for a bit of a theatrics, the sourdough breads were insanely good and I was really impressed with the vegan bits I tried (I’m not vegan) to the point I’ve recommended to all vegan friends since. Fried chicken blew my mind. dinner with my husband and daughter: Great they now do a kids menu, not the cheapest (£8 for a main, starters and desserts extra) but seriously good food. She chose the fish tempura which was one of my favourites on the previous visit. We had the £45 for two Tasting Menu with the £20pp wine flight. Husband is very spice sensitive so not great if you are similarly inclined but if you don’t mind a little heat the food was incredible and I couldn’t get over what great value it was. Service is always great, staff friendly but not overbearing and happily to give you more info if you have questions as I usually do. Think the decor is gorgeous. It is as sadly a little quiet on a Weds evening but we dined early (5pm) and it was the night of ‘protest’ so probably not a true reflection. Would love to go on a Saturday eve if we could get a babysitter as the downstairs bar looks fun for drinks afterwards! Highly recommend.

Holy moly!! We both had salad boxes, and we were so happy with our choices. I had extra falafel, and oh my goodness. All four salads were delicious. So fresh. The hummus was addictive, and I deffo think everyone should have the chilli sauce. I will be back. So good. Well done.

A lovely wrap that Joshua made for me. I ordere a grilled halloumi, was delicious the variety and crisp vegetables, the wrap was very creamy the flavors harmonize perfectly, and also I LOVE OLIVES and was fun because my wrap was full of fantastic ingredients and two olives came out of my wrap and Joshua threw them away ( is normal ) and in my mind I thought nooo, I LOVE the OLIVES why you threw them away, :-(( but out of shame I did not tell him to give them to me haha. Next time I will do because defenily I will come back. Just a bit suggestion what about made a wrap with Marinated Tofu and avocado? :-))

Long time customer, first time reviewer here! I absolutely love the Olive Works. The wraps are delicious and so are the various salads. The salad box and wrap are both good value too. I truly appreciate Tim's service, everytime he is cheerful, helpful and always sells me on extras.

A lovely place for lunch and still had food when we arrived later (around 1400) after the Lunchtime rush. The owner was very apologetic for the lack of selection due to so much being sold out but he hand no need to be the salad he created was lovely and just what we needed.

Wow, the Halloumi wrap with olives, salad and fresh hummus was amazing. The grilled flatbread it was served in was exceptional. Great prices, fast and kind service. I don’t understand how their rating isn’t higher.

The variety of food was incredible - from Asian cuisines to European classics, there was something to suit everyone's taste. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The live cooking stations were a highlight, adding a fun and interactive element to the meal. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our visit. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun dining experience with a wide range of delicious options.

We had a celebration dinner reservation. in an amazignly wlecoming atmosphere. amazing staff with a delicious food. all the right delocious dishes. especially the Sushi and the Obergine. Just amazing. we had the staff's help with the birthday cake and it was overall amazing.

We went as a group of friends for dinner, and we were really impressed with the fast service and attentive waitress. There were good options of wine and we enjoyed a good old world wine. The food was delicious, I had the drunken ribs that I thought were really delicious. It is worth booking as it is busy, and don’t be late!

Food is absolutely delicious, the sharer starters are great value and every bit was great. As a table we had the massaman curry, pad thai, red prawn curry and the garlic hake. The massamn and Padthai were delicious both get 10/10. The prawn curry was also delicious. Our only note was the hake was a little on the salty side, but was still very good. We also enjoyed desserts and the food was absolutely delicious, no complaints. The restaurant was busy but had a great vibe and we love the decorations and felt welcome from the staff.

Have been for anniversary meal recently and this was a birthday celebration, fantastic food and service and very attentive staff…. Even handed my wife a birthday card from the team…nice touch…see you soon….the chefs are magicians such amazing flavours

After returning from a trip in Thailand I was really wanting more Panang curry for my birthday celebration. Giggling squid delivered a very lovely and authentic curry on top of a vibrant atmosphere. I will be back. It was lovely touch having a birthday card from them too 💓 the only thing was 90 mins wasn’t long enough ☺️

We booked this place to celebrate my wife's birthday. Even though it was on weekdays I booked it in advance because it gets busy and if you are looking for more than 3-4 people then definitely recommend booking in advance. It was our 2nd visit and I still like the quality of food. They do have some different food options that are quite different from other Thai restaurants. Food and service was good and even they were quite accommodating with our 1yr old child which was a bonus. I do recommend trying their Prawn dish and Green Thai curry.

The food was absolutely incredible! The best salt and pepper squid i have ever tasted. It was melt in the mouth, with a light and crispy bite through the batter. The sticky chicken was so tasty and the portion size was really good. Felt very spoilt as we were given complimentary prosecco as it was our anniversary! My husband loved the red thai curry and the king prawns to start. Service was excellent and I love how pretty inside the restaurant is! Will definitely be back! Thank you

Perhaps it would be a good idea for me to phone ahead and inform cafés what I expect when I get there. The consumption of beverii (the new plural of beverage) is a personal thing. One man's..... person's nectar is another person's poison. The coffee was good 👍 in that it tasted very much of........ coffee. I'm getting obsessed with the pattern on top, the 'swirly', as I call it. This swirly was a half-bottomed (cleaned that one up) attempt by someone who doesn't know how important it is to me. Hence the phoning ahead comment. In mitigation the orange and almond cake was both orangey and almondy in equal measures however it failed in another qualification pertaining to my tastes. It was not moist. Not only do I like the word moist (moist, moistest, most moistest) but I also like my cakes to be moisty. Mmmmmmm..... moist. As in not dry. X out of ten, where X is a low number.

We recommend this place - especially if it’s a sunny or nice day. The deck is great with a view of the water, the service is fast and kind, and the food is excellent. They had gluten free options - their regular pancakes are naturally gluten free!

We had our wedding at the Mud Dock in September 2025. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Firstly, throughout the planning they were really responsive and Victoria was brilliant at advising and helping us plan the menu and decorations. They completely handled our set up and it looked stunning. Secondly, we didn't have to think about anything on the day - it just ran to plan! Thirdly, the food was gorgeous and really great with allergies. We were a little worried about it being enough when service started but but by the end everyone was stuffed. Finally, all the staff on the day were so nice and quick on the bar. They were also very gracious when we smashed quite a few glasses... We can't fault any of the day. We had 76 guests for food and another 15 in the evening. This was the perfect sized venue for that many people. If you book the Mud Dock (which you should) I would also recommend our DJ Dom Lawson, who was brilliant and just got himself all set up and sorted, and kept the dancefloor completely full until the end. Plus our incredible photographer, Matt Willis - the photos speak for themselves.

What a wonderful hidden gem! The terrace is perfect for a quick drink and a bite to eat, the staff are lovely and attentive without being invasive, the food was absolutely spectacular! I honestly can't recommend this place enough, thanks to the whole team for looking after me during my afternoon in Bristol! 🧡

We had our wedding day at Mud Dock in July 2025. It was the most amazing day organised by the Mud dock team - from the initial communication and planning meetings to the day itself everything ran smoothly and the team were absolutely incredible. Perfect place to enjoy a slow breakfast or brunch, outside on the deck with a view it it's sunny, or otherwise there are loads of seats inside. Great choice of food including veggie and vegan options plus a few more unusual options like loaded focaccia. Staff were great and car park next door.

Nice spot and the saff were kind ams amazing especially Shanni,( I hope I wrote it right), she was amazing 👏 we drop off with reservation and a group of 8 ppl, and they manged to get us a table, the food was wonderful and the atmosphere Greek fava focaccia and the Nutella pancakes are the best in Bristol

I’ve been to Zizzi a few times now, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is great. ALP is super friendly, always smiling and making you feel welcome. The whole team is friendly and attentive as well. Definitely recommend!

Great pizza.. have not had square pizza not much.. love the square pizza part. The pasta dish is quite good.. The chicken starter is also quite good as well. Had been there twice in short time span I really like the place.. The free crisps at the start makes good gesture from restaurant side.. The drink is quite smooth and less sweet compared to most mocktails in restaurants..

We walked in, lots of tables to spare. The waitress was AMAZING, Ines, and she was always taking the time to see us, take our orders, make lovely recommendations and to talk to us! All the food was delicious. I ordered the Pho soup, rice bowl, beef brisket curry and the visticiliam noodles. The food was full of all kinds of flavours, all working together to form an amazing dish. I would 100% recommend this to anyone! The Pho Soup is amazing and is a must eat!

The soup noodles were brilliant, especially the thick noodles with classic one! U may also get free extra noodles if u wanted, the table service was really nice and kind(Lady Ines). The meat in the soup noodle was massive, we will definitely come back again and try the new stuff!

Wonderful food and I could eat gluten free which wasn’t expected so very happy! Our server was Owen ‘aka the combo master’ - absolute star and so attentive. Our table went with his recommendations and weren’t disappointed! If I lived in Bristol I would return ☺️ Thank you! Went to Pho for the first time and from the moment I walked in the staff were friendly and attentive. My server Maddy even brought over a fork as she could see I was struggling with the chop sticks 😆 (I was trying) I ordered the Pho House which was delicious. You could taste the garlic on the steak and the king prawns were amazing! Would definitely go back again to try other dishes on the menu.

We tried a pho restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was quite good, not the best we've ever had, but definitely enjoyable and worth trying. What really stood out, though, was the service. Ella, if you're reading this, thank you for being so kind and patient while we took our time picking our dishes, you were truly wonderful! The atmosphere was pleasant, although a bit noisy due to the loud music, so we had to raise our voices to have a conversation. Aside from that, it’s a pretty solid spot!

the atmosphere is good, but the waiters are very rushed and the food has nothing to do with Greece. We had a souvlaki and it contain 3 chunks of meat, 5 fries and 1kg onion … humus again was good, but the bread I don’t think is made by them.

Absolutely delicious! We had the chicken skewers and the pork wrap — both were cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour, while the pork wrap was tender and packed with just the right seasoning. The service was excellent too — friendly, attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Will definitely be coming back again!

First time being here . Personally love hummous and flat bread , we ordered 3 dips and 3 meze which enough for 2 people. Octopus is most of my favourite as jt is charcoal grilled . Good for 2, family or friends gathering .

I know this is a lower rating than most but it's the price and portion size that I can't accept.....£9 for 5 tiny bites of chicken, another £9 for an equally small morsel of octopus and £4.50 for a tiny bowl of french fries.........then 10% service on top...... Now I realise why this restaurant is relatively empty compared to some of the chicken establishments very close by that had long queues outside....... Monday

My Mum and I have just paid £44.95 for this. We ordered a sharing a board. The beef was over cooked, the belly of pork was hard and dry, the vegetables were cold, the red cabbage was soggy and there was no crackling. My Mum was really hungry as we waited quite a while to be served so she ate two small dry pieces of meat, two greasy potatoes and a very small amount of veg whilst waiting for a new one to be cooked. The new board came to the table. it was much the same as the first. But This time the cracking was added to the board but looked inedible. The veg and gravy left on the table whilst waiting for the new board was now stone cold. I asked the waiter to please take it back as I didn’t want it and I was happy to pay for the small amount of food my Mum had consumed. He replied that he would discount the bill by a few pound because of the cold vegetables. Even though a very small portion of the meal was eaten.. i said if this was the case please put the food in takeaway boxes so at least the dog would benefit. Although I could only give her the beef as the rest was far too salty. This is absolutely shocking as I’ve eaten there many times before but definitely won’t be going back. So disappointing.

We came here, as we were looking for a cheap eat January restaurant offer (2 for 1 on mains) and expected it to be quite nice. But, it by far exceeded our expectations with a warm, inviting and rustic atmosphere. The restaurant design and architecture was beautiful, the old stone archways featured throughout the building created a real charm alongside the warm blazing fire by the bar. The staff were fantastic, very hospitable and excellent at checking in and explaining the menu. We ordered the steak sandwich with fries and the ham and chicken pie with hand cut chips and seasonal veg with homemade gravy. The steak was topped with a delicious sauce and caramelised onions, adding a lovely sweetness. Although the steak was a little tricky to eat. The fries were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The pie was filled to the brim with meat that was tender and delicious, I would prefer a little more sauce, but that might be personal preference. It was accompanied by sweet baby carrots, green beans and a rich homemade gravy. But, the star of the show was the hand cut chips. Beautifully cooked with a crispy exterior and the most fluffy interior. Fortunately, the portion size was rather large, so those extra chips certainly didn't struggle being consumed. I would certainly recommend coming here if you are looking for an affordable, rustic spot to eat with excellent service and very good homemade British pub classics.

Has so much potential to be amazing, but unfortunately it currently lacks any sense of organisation. We booked using first table, and when we showed up and there was no one in the restaurant area, and we were left kind of wondering and standing around not really knowing where to go for food. After approaching the bar, the gent was nice but seemed a little unsure and just said, sit anywhere and order, we asked if we could go outside which was fine. We sat for awhile and no one came out to even give menus, so we had to again go in and ask, and then there was a further 10-15 minutes wait for anyone to come out and take orders, which we previously asked if they would, and were reassured they would. Food wait was a little longer than other places but the place was nice and we didn't mind the wait. When food arrived, it was pretty good, and we definitely enjoyed. When paying, the 2 ladies at the bar were new and seemed very out of place, albeit polite and apologetic, but seemed stressed and didn't know how to do the first table bookings. Which resulted in a 10 minute wait to try and find someone who did know. It's a shame as based on our visit today we wouldn't go back, but they had a decent bar, lovely atmosphere and a great margarita menu and prices. If they sorted the organisation we would be back with friends regularly, but unfortunately due to our visit today, will be sticking to others on White ladies road.

A great Sunday roast! I have coeliac disease so eating out can be a challenge sometimes. However, not here. As soon as we walked in and explained I was coeliac the person that met us went straight into the kitchen to find out what I could/couldn't have. Then went our waitress took our order she explained that her brother had coeliac disease which was so reassuring and she also explained that the kitchen staff were cleaning everything down. Brilliant service, thank you! The food was lovely, would absolutely recommend

Mi friend and I were in Bristol for the first time and came here to drink something the first day and we come the Next days beacuase of the good treatment. The good and the ambient were really nice, but the service and the bar tenders were incredible! Above all the treatment of Elle Who was the most friendly person we meet in the city. She made our stay really pleacent and thats beacuase we repeat. We absolutely recommend come here drink and eat beacuase the food is really tasty too. If we return to the city we obviously come to this bar again!

Where do I begin……!!! Everything from the beginning to end was just perfect. Issy was amazing so helpful constant emails to remind me to do things, check everything was as planned. On the night the bar staff were excellent we put a tab behind the bar and they were checking that people could have drinks, so amazing. We bought them all a drink to say Thank you. Elle our hostess for the evening was just so lovely. Constantly checking we were happy with everything, nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble for her. Wonderfully cafe, bar and restaurant. The decor is fantastic. Only popped in for a coffee to take away, slightly expensive but what do you expect in the center of Bristol. Lovely outside sitting area for the summer months. Well worth a visit the inside is a treat to the eyes!

It was our first time in Bristol and we decided to visit this trendy restaurant/cafe/bar. It's split into two distinct areas. As you enter its more of a cozy cafe, with comfy sofas and in the back it's more like a restaurant with tables and chair. All very light and airy and really inviting. We sat at the restaurant. The service is super friendly and hospitable. Well done team They have a huge variety of food and a very big selection of pizzas. From the classics to some amazing innovative ideas that taste great. The pizza is big and definitely enough for two medium eaters. Great quality. Overall a fun, happy place to visit

Really lovely setting for a light lunch. I went for the Bahia Piccante pizza which was really tasty, the pepperoni had just the right amount of kick to it. My partner had the falafel wrap and said it was very delicious as well. They had a houseplant stall in the middle where you could purchase them and I did go a bit wild in the aisles with this. All in all very reasonably priced and will be returning!

A great place outside Bristol City Centre with a lovely atmosphere, excellent food and efficient and friendly service. We had 4 different dishes, all of which were lovely, and very reasonably priced. A small Chicken Caesar Salad, a small Feta Cheese Salad, a Toasted Falafel Wrap and Falafel Salad Bowl. With a very generous and very good portion of fries which we shared between all 4 of us. Nice drinks range too. The pizzas looked amazing. Huge and lots of toppings. They also had a small plants range for sale.

We loved this joint! Great Sunday roast. I wanted something different so went for their goat's cheese and sweet potato wellington and it was 😙👌🏽 Rounded it off with a vanilla ice cream affogato (see my badly recorded video 😂) Definitely wanna come back here one day 🫶🏽

Great foods and the top service! Love the place but it does get really REALLY busy and loud! We enjoyed the time tho. We went early for dinner and left earlyish before it gets too crowded.

Large bar, outdoor seating and a good variety of seating which many bars lack. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is a good selection of drinks. The pizza’s are good and the service was quick and efficient. There were annoying flies inside and so investment in UV fly killers would help. The odd socket for mobile chargers would have been useful but hardly an essential unless like me running a bit low on juice. Overall nothing should distract from a comfortable and well managed place.

Visited today for the first time to takeaway and had such a great experience- the wraps are enormous and such great value (especially for Bristol), absolutely brimming with fresh ingredients! The baba ganoush cauliflower wrap was delicious, lots of great vegan and veggie options. Also lovely staff and food was prepared super quick! Can't wait to come back and try the falafel.. most underrated place in Bristol?

We spent two days in Bristol, and we went to Baba Ganoush twice! This is hands down once of the best falafels we’ve ever had (not an understatement, I tried a lot as a vegetarian). We took the big falafel wrap with halloumi (woaw) and falafel salad (see picture). The next day we took two falafel wraps and the owner gave us a lot of goodies to go for the airport. We will definitely come back! (even if it was for Ruby(🐾)

Wow! I walked away from the shop wielding this absolute weapon of a wrap and it was so goooood, lovely fresh ingredients all cooked to perfection. Super quick and friendly service, loved the coffee too! Will definitely be back, long live Baba Ganoush this place is a gem. Thankyou!

We've been coming here for years and always have the best time. No matter how busy it is, Dael and Shad are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is always sensational. To add to the hundreds of people who have said the same - it is the best falafel I've ever eaten by some stretch. Always a bonus to see Rudy the dog plodding around happily munching on some halloumi. Our dog won't let us go within 100m of the place now without trying to drag us in as she also gets a portion of halloumi made especially for her each time we go. Another example of the sort of business they run is the fact that last time I went their card machine was down, so they told my friend and I to pay next time. They didn't stop taking orders, and told everyone coming for the lunch rush to just settle up when they next came by. When I did try to pay for that food alongside today's order, I was told not to worry about it. Beautiful restaurant run by beautiful people.

We’ve been meaning to try this place for years and always drive past however we made an effort to pop in today and wow we were not disappointed. Greeted by the most lovely lady who brought our food out. The portions are massive and is so cheap(!) we had 2 of the everything wrap and easily could have shared. The lovely lady explained it’s her and her husband who run this place and are doing the most wonderful job. The food is made with love and care id go as far as saying the best in Bristol! Best falafels i've had in the UK! Super crispy exterior, aromatic and fluffy inside and all their other dishes are always bursting with flavour and freshness! We were on on our way to Wales from London and stopped just to get our hands on some of their falafels. We arrived 10 mins before closing time and the owner had a bag of hot falafels on standby that he gave away without even charging us. We parked close by to stuff our faces and he reappeared with cups of tahini sauce for us. Definitely worth the visit for the great food and amazing people!

Always see this place walking into Easton. Never made it inside it took a roaring hangover and a day of walking around for me and my partner in crime miss savage to lay our head in this establishment. Boss man and Lady were the kindest for 100 miles and had the produce to back it up. Made with love and hummus best food I can remember having the pleasure of consuming. Could not be fresher balanced flavours and a portion for half a village. While we waited for our food We saw a couple eating theres near us and we made private remarks of their silence not saying a word to each other. What we could could only speculate was love fading. However once our lips made contact with our own nutrient dense plate we quickly realised how wrong we were. The diagnosis of the silence? Food so good your simply speechless.

I’m not vegan, but HOLYYYY. This was amazing. Went here as a part of Restaurant Tour and everything they served us was just incredible. The cocktails were good too and the staff were all so friendly and lively. The atmosphere and vibes were incredible and honestly will come back here!

Such a good experience, must go if you are vegetarian/vegan!!! Food was incredible, some of the best fake meat I have tasted in 12 years of being vegetarian. What can I say? This was probably the most delicious vegan food I have ever tried! We ordered the sharing platter, with two of the tapas style sides. The 'lamb' kofta was phenomenal and the oyster mushrooms we could have eaten by the bucket full. The service here is fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. It was busy so definitely book - we also sat upstairs which was decorated beautifully! 10/10 we will definitely be back! X

What an earth is this? Charge you an arm and a leg and this is what you get? Small handful of overcooked chips…..Been going here since I was little with several different owners over the years but the latest lot really are the worst, half a burger bun box with no lid because they want to cut corners. Never known anything like it. Definitely won’t be back…till the next lot of owners anyway as I’m sure they won’t last if they carry on like this.

Enjoyed our trip around the SS Great Britain although very expensive. Guides very knowledgeable. Lots of stairs but there is a lift for the less able. Also toilets within the ship itself. There's an adjoining cafe but we didn't use it so can't speak for the food.

Great place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat but sadly for what you get it's very expensive there are better places around and more reasonable...

Thick cut sliced bread filled with smashed avocado, bacon, sausage, a fried egg and salad. I love how you can tailor your sandwich as you wish. The view of the harbour is a nice setting too. It can get busy/rowdy on the weekend mornings (when I went) so I’d like to try going again on a weekday to have a more peaceful breakfast.

A favourite place to go to if you're prepared to walk a little bit further from the MShed. The bacon sandwiches are legendary !

Spotted this small outdoor place on one of my walks in Bristol so I had to stop and try the products. The place is on Museum Street by the quayside on the way to SS Great Britain. It was great to see how many locals stopped for something to eat. I had a coffee with a bacon and egg roll. The staff were attentive and welcoming but also they had a lot of homemade items with very reasonable prices.

We had the most amazing time at pizza on the park!! We wanted to give a massive shout out to the whole team, and especially our server Joss who made our evening so lovely. The food was genuinely spot on - we both couldn’t fault it. They have such a great variety and cater perfectly to those who are vegetarian/vegan. I went here for the first time with my partner the other day and had such a lovely experience. We booked through First Table for a last minute date. We arrived 15 minutes early and still had a warm welcome and were led to our table. Our waitress, Alex, was fab and so helpful. She gave us lots of recommendations of what to have and was happy to answer all our questions. We had starters, 2 pizzas, and dessert and can’t fault the food. Prices were reasonable considering the portion size and quality of the food. Decent veggie and vegan choice. Would make the perfect date or special occasion spot, or even just a casual lunch spot.

Ordered off Ubereat. The worst I have ever eaten in years. Tomato sauce was bland and liquid. The colour was as bland as the taste, disgusting. So was the mozzarella, dry and hard to cut without any creaminess. Last, you don’t put fresh basil on pizzas before cooking. Are you a serious pizzeria? I can even see basil beneath mozzarella. Everything about this place yells "Pizzaaaaa!" and let it said that it's exceptional quality pizza. Great atmosphere with full prep and proper pizza oven on the go in full view of diners. Decor is casual botanical giving a sense of bucolic Italiano, and staff are great; friendly, helpful, and (in my experience with a large group) good fun. Will definitely visit again given the opportunity to get back to Bristol.

I had such a wonderful experience at Taste of Napoli! The vegan options here are fantastic, especially the pizza – full of flavor, with a perfectly crisp base and generous toppings that really stand out. I also tried the large Sicilian cannolo, and it was absolutely divine – fresh, creamy, and so satisfying. The staff are genuinely lovely, warm, and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The venue itself is on the smaller side, but it’s beautifully done and has such a cozy, authentic charm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious vegan-friendly Italian food and a truly enjoyable dining experience!

Sucks will never to got to this miserable place again, with racist and rude staff, I used to follow them on Instagram and wanted to try them, first the up stairs is dirty, my cup and plate did not fit together, the tray was dirty was dirty , even my cake they served me one with a piece of it missing on the top. Horrible place to be, and also no WiFi, the lady mentioned they do not use WiFi here, how I am supposed to set upsatisrs with no network or WiFi ?! After I go out the lady cursed and kept looking at me form the windo. Very rude.

Lovely food, fantastic people. This place runs by an Italian family from Napoli. Obviously, they know their stuff. In fact, visited this place 5 years ago and loved the food. Visited it again in 2024 and had a wonderful pizza again. Highly recommended for a small lunch or afternoon snack. Have a chat with the owner and he will be happy to help you.

When you enter Taste of Napoli you jump directly to Italy: from the wide selection of pizza to the dessert every is authentic and done like in Italy. The service was extremely polite and we felt welcome from the moment we entered. I strongly suggest to visit this cozy place if you are wondering how the pizza taste in Italy

Again: love this one with ham? Almost the best one except margherita. (Really want to know its name! It just said house pizza) Update: The ham one is full of cheese. Pepperoni is a bit spicy. Great! Love the latte here. Love single pizza slices!!! Perfect choice for someone enjoying eating alone. The margherita is good although I prefer pepperoni. Cannoli tastes great as a first try

Better and better over the years and for me, the best roast dinner in the city, veggie, vegan or not. A perfectly flavoured, fresh, and balanced nut roast and trimmings. Beautiful.

This place was amazing! Just the job when you are hungry. This is a very cool place to hang out but nobody seemed to mind that we were there too (we were the oldest people there). The food was excellent, the service was fast and efficient. I would definitely go here again next time I'm in the area.

Nice spot on Stokes Croft, really good selection of local beers and drinks combined with a good selection of food in the kitchen. It appears the menu is Vegan only, so that may sway you one way or another.

What a totally great find for a Sunday afternoon late lunch. Cool relaxing ambience in eclectic setting. Very friendly staff. What a lovely team. Veggie roast dinner had so many flavours and importantly not overcooked. In retrospect wish I'd have taken a photo as presentation and colour was utterly delightful. Delicious too. Great veggie find and would 100% return next time in Bristol.

July 24 - why have we left it so long!? Again, super friendly helpful staff. Everything we ordered was delicious. Menu changes regularly, and staff can advise. Our favourite, smashed potatoes were slightly different but loved this variation. Sharing board was great. Heritage tomatoes, great. 2 different burgers, both great. Highly recommend the mushroom one (NOT a portobello mushroom) Everything was great! June 23 - Great attentive staff. Quite busy even at 5pm. But food arrived quickly, and every dish (6) was absolutely delicious. At this point, I would normally tell you about the vegetarian choices, but everything is either vegetarian or vegan. Spoilt for choice. Definitely going back.

OMG … A Definite One 2 Visit We had a wander around town for the afternoon and then headed over to try out our latest Vegan / Plant based restaurant find. The food was absolutely superb - Some of the tastiest food we’ve had in a long time at vegan restaurants. Many are good quality, this was excellent!! 👌 It would be nice to see slightly more attention to detail and also some more vegan options for cakes or desserts but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Thank you.

Bristol institution in Stokes Croft with excellent veggie/vegan Sunday roasts. Highly recommend the seitan roast as my personal favourite, they have pretty good coffee as well. The ambience is very hipster and cosy, and service is very good. It's about 16£ for a roast which I think is a bit high for a meal, but definitely worth it.

We had some lovely lunch here. Everything is vegan! I had a bacon Mac and cheese, chilli cheese nuggets, and my husband had chicken tenders. All of it was soo flavourful , this is proper vegan junk food. The service was a bit lifeless and curt which even for a place that is mostly a takeaway felt a bit low.

Wow, I mean wow. As an Australian, I keep gaslighting myself when I walk into vegan venues. Oowee Vegan Baldwin was exceptional.. The menu was so comprehensive and inclusive. I enjoyed "the big bacon cheese" with and impossible patty, bacon, American cheese, baconaise -hold the gherkins. This was a delicious "sometimes" Burger. Definitely no pillar of health however a wonderful cheat meal. As a side Ioved the small portion of the bacon Mac n cheese. I can't fault the flavors of anything here.

I'm non-vegan but my mum is lacto-vegetarian & partner is has a lactose intolerance so I've been trying to get them to go here for nearly 2 years! Food was amazing, the people were amazing & I was so happy as they can't stop talking about how good it was! Will definitely be going there again!

Small place but surprisingly good. I was impressed by their vegan burgers. Very tasty and flavoury. Nice, quick and friendly service. Great price with great selections!

Had the bacon Swiss chicken burger... it was banging. The normal fries id pass on next time and upgrade to waffle fries as they looked incredible. Fantastic choice on the menu, to the point where it took me ages to know what I wanted as it was all veggie. So glad I found this place! Lovely service!

I love a good Oowee! So many options and an ever increasing menu! My family always ask for an Oowee when they visit. I have recently tried an option from their new Impossible Burger menu...it was great! Highly recommend!

Drove an hour to eat here at 6pm on Monday. Doors shut, closed. Please update your hours! Rang the number and can see through the window a lady at the counter, she just hung up the phone without answering. We tried calling ahead of time too and assume she did same thing. Would have saved us a wasted trip and parking fee if she actually answered. Pretty disappointing. EDIT: To the response from owner (appreciate a response), however we called a couple of times on route and Open sign was not on, I even knocked on door. Looked closed and watched her hang up the phone she was just sitting at the desk. No other details, so we went somewhere else.

Delicious vegan food! And good value! My sister saw this recommendation on a Bristol newsletter. She’s not vegan. The staff was friendly. I asked them about the name and they explained! We’re non-native speakers. The food was great with generous portions. Bare in mind that if you want some carbs (e.g. rice) with your mains, you need to order a side. Look at the prices! That’s why it’s cheap. I asked for a box to grab the leftover curry to have it for lunch tomorrow. Gluten free mains available too. I wanted something with a sauce so I had the curry. And it was amazing! And I had the curry with the rice and pea (aka beans). My sister chose the jerk tofu and the sauce had great texture and taste. And the tofu was perfectly cooked. She loved it! The kale was really tasty too. We were curious about the fried dumplings. It wasn’t my thing but my sister loved them! We loved the fried plantain too! The were perfectly ripe and sweet. I had the Guinness punch - since it was one of the last remaining Fi Real drinks (they’re in the side fridge by the way). It was interesting and with a nice texture but I don’t have a sweet tooth. The atmosphere was quiet - Sunday evening. Everyone was just chatting and the music added to a good vibe. LGTBQA+ friendly.

Wow! What an absolute gem of a place! The food was amazing and the staff were great. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. So much flavour. Can't recommend enough! Perfect, we will be back for more.

Jamaican curry chunks were delicious, jerk tofu also very good (great texture). Yummy rice and peas. Dumplings were alright (my nan’s can’t be beaten!). Overall, hearty and wholesome. Service and atmosphere were ok. Very quiet for bank holiday Monday, although did see a few takeaways.

So freaking good. I'm never disappointed. I wish I could eat here every day. You don't need to be vegan to eat here. I eat meat and this is better than most restaurants that serve meat. Interior of the restaurant is a little dated but you know I couldn't care less.

We go there once or twice a month (we live about 200 yards away) and we really love it! It is our happy place for meals out. We mainly have pizzas (one of us is veggie, the other not) but we have also had pasta dishes and on a couple of occasions veggie and full English breakfasts. All totally brilliant and delicious. Good portion sizes too. We have taken friends from abroad there and they loved it too. We love the local Wiper and True draught IPA they serve.

Brilliant little place, big food and flavours. First time sitting in after a few takeaways. Great service, sat in the sunshine on a Sunday morning and had a very hearty hash with pancakes, chai and a pot of tea. Superb. Evening visit next!

Incredible spot. The pasta was the best pasta I have ever had. Incredible such big portions and fairly priced. Amazing meat hand made pasta and pizza. Arancini was delicious. Lovely staff and beautiful interiors.

Have eaten here a couple of times now and it is fantastic. Small local place but accommodating for a large table. All food we have had has been amazing quality and delicious - pizzas, pastas, breakfasts, starters, and sides! Service is always quick and friendly. We’ll be back!

Used to live round the corner from Napolita and was a regular customer. Ordered via Uber eats this eve and spend nearly £60. What we got was an insanely salty anchovies pizza with dry prawns on top of it. Love an anchovie pizza but this had so many on it that my partner couldnt eat it. Plus each slice of pizza had about 4 olives on it. The other pizza arrived with a lump of saggy salad dumped in the middle. I tried to pick off the salad and it came off in a big slimy slab with cheese stuck to it. Check the pics. The goats cheese pizza had so many toppings on it that it just tasted of salt as well. I loved the fact that napolitia were always really generous with their toppings but something's clearly gone wrong here. Really disappointing. Won't be ordering again.

Best pizza I've had in years! Gluten free base indistinguishable from gluten/normal. So good! Authentic. Fast service. Overlooks a busy urban street, yet still appealing with al fresco terrace seating.

A great little place. Huge choice of vegan food - sweet and not. NOT HEALTHY FOOD - but they do say that everywhere. Had hot dogs and nachos there - both good. Ice coffee - REALLY good. TOO MANY cakes to choose from, you will be absolutely spoiled for choice. Loads of chocolate choices, more exciting than in larger stores. Will be back for sure

One of my favourite spots in Bristol. If you’re looking for a great selection of vegan items that you can’t find in the supermarkets then this is your spot. An amazing selection of ‘I am nut ok’ cheeses and ‘Kinda’ cheeses. Both of which are so delicious! They have spreads and dips and meat alternatives. Along with the fridge selection they have a great freezer section and dry goods. The cakes are delicious and the food is always great. A beautiful selection of fancy coffee and the staff are always so friendly. Not to mention they are dog friendly. Whether you want some of your vegan staples or to sit in and enjoy the warm atmosphere this place is a gem!

The kai (food) here was delicious! The Vx burger has been my favourite vegan burger that I’ve tried so far in Bristol! 🍔 I would recommend if you like a smokey flame-grilled tasting burger (think bk) 😋 the shakes here are tasty as well as the cookie pie! It’s amazing that everything is vegan 😍

Good little vegan cafe and shop on a town thoroughfare. Nice outdoor seating area. The usual junk food offerings of burgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese and a great selection of cakes and drinks. We had hot dogs (rather basic and bland with gloopy sauces) cheese cake and apple cake, which were both really yummy. A mixed bag.

Delicious vegan restaurant/cafe! I ordered the Nachos with a side of Mac and Cheese thinking the portions weren’t that big. I was wrong! Portions are much bigger than expected, so great value for money and the food tasted amazing!

Food was absolutely good as you expect from Itsu. Portion was quite good compared to the price. Service was even more perfect. They say, the dishes are freshly made and they taste quite good and nutritious 😅 I think I expected more tables on the first floor. They were a bit unclean as well. The customers sometimes leave the table without cleaning it. Good place to hangout with friends right infront of Cabot circus. Overall very aesthetic and kawaii ✨

Honestly the food isn't tasty for the price, is cold, and doesn't taste fresh. The katsu curry is more like a soup than a plate, and every time I go I find myself wishing I just went to Yo Sushi instead. Also avoid the dumplings like the plague.

Lovely place, loved the vibes, although changed my mind when i went in with my friend and ate food, i had the chicken katsu curry noodles, the morning waking up i experienced vomiting along side with heavy food poisoning lasting a while, i don’t know if i would eat from this place again or trust it considering what happened, maybe it was a one time mistake the place made which is absolutely fine, but in further use to make sure this doesn’t happen again to any other customers that come in.

I’ve walked by so many times and me and some friends went in when we didn’t have time for dinner before a cinema. Really impressed. Get fast food. All of us found our food tasty. Will definitely be going back. Much better than grabbing burger and fries.

Within the main shopping area of Bristol is this Sushi Restaurant. It's a busy little spot with plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. Overall the food was OK as it is prepackaged and refrigerated. Pros: fast service, good selection of sushi Cons: the restaurant at the time was not clean. Tables were covered in sauce and flies were flying round. The toilets were not up to standard as the cleaning sheet was not completed since the previous day. In summary, it was a nice place however, they do need to get the tables cleaned and toilets. This was the downfall on this review.

Freshly made sushi and sashimi, love their miso soup as well, very good selection of drinks. If you don’t like sushi then you have curry options, gyoza options etc. Friendly staff and easy to pick up any item you want to buy. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. I love to get my lunch here or just get something nice like sushi set to take back home.

Delicious Japanese food at incredible prices! Itsu is easily accessible from the main streets and is a great spot to grab a bit after all the shopping in the Bristol district. I love the food selection here. Fresh cut fruits are sold here, as well as healthy fruit blends/drinks are available for the health-conscious. There are plenty of seats available. The C-shaped seating are great for huddling together for satisfying meal-time with your loved ones. There are condiments like soy sauce, chilli and more at each table. The best part is that there are usb charging ports for you to recharge your electrical devices while you "recharge" your body with good food/drinks ;)

I celebrated my birthday here with a group of seven, and it was honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Bristol. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly by the staff — they truly made me feel special. They surprised me with a birthday balloon, played “Happy Birthday” music, and even brought out a complimentary brownie with ice cream, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the location itself is lovely. The food? Gorgeous, despite eating lots of meat I did not feel heavy or get any stomach aches (I have a very sensitive stomach). The chicken was perfectly juicy and tender (not dry at all!), and the chips were crisped to perfection— easily the best Lebanese food I’ve had in Bristol. It was not overpriced at all I was genuinely surprised when we received the bill. It’s clear this place takes genuine care in everything they do, from the food to the personal touches. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable.

This was our first time in Lamaya, although it's been open for about a year, the Finzels Reach area, being newly developed, wasn't really on our radar. We booked because we saw a large banner on the waterfront and wrongly assumed that there was a terrace overlooking the river. There wasn't, however, the interior of the restaurant was clean and well presented though VERY dark. After struggling to see the menu inside we decided to head outside to the pleasant tables and comfy seating outside. This would not be an option in bad weather as it's not covered. The food arrived in good time and was beautifully presented. We had ordered the meat mezze and a lamb skewer which came with salad. I had a very nice glass of prosecco, which arrived very fresh and presented with pomegranate seeds and my husband had a Lebanese bottled beer and a pint. The staff were very friendly and the only very slight hiccup was a small delay in the bill. The bill itself was very reasonable and included service. Al round a great experience and my only criticism is the lack of light in the dining room.

Lovely service, attention to detail was spot on, they got a little balloon and a free cake for my dad’s birthday!! So sweet! We loved that! The food is great here but it felt like it was very small portions? Only why I’m giving food 4/5 other than that it was a great experience

Had a birthday dinner at Lamaya Bristol and they went above and beyond! Beautiful table setup with a balloon, friendly staff who even brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday. Food was delicious (the platters are a must!), all halal, and service was warm and welcoming. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Only downside is no free parking nearby, but worth the short walk!

Decided to try somewhere different in Bristol and I’m so glad we did! All the smoothies sounded so good and the one I picked was great. We picked the hummus and baba ganoush deals with pita and salad which was just what we were looking for. Good serving for £7 with even some pita to take home! The decor was natural and it was a pretty spot. Definitely want to return for smoothies and their breakfast bowls which looked amazing too!

My husband and I went there for lunch. We had the babaganoush and spinach manouche with mango ginger smoothie. It was delicious, served hot, and very filling. The price was excellent! The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely go back for a meal if we are in the area again.

A lovely little café in the heart of Bristol. My partner and I love to stop in for a smoothie or a juice when we are in Bristol. The baristas are friendly and the vibe is calm, with a woody interior filled with plants to give it a natural vibe. The selection of smoothies and juices are brilliant and not only are they tasty they are also nutritious. The manouche bread is delicious and what stands out most when I eat it is how fragrant it is, typically you taste flavour when eating but this is like tasting flavour and smell, it's hard to explain so drop in and try one for yourself! Keep doing what your doing and we look forward to our next visit. Big love!

We visited Pieminister for our wedding meal on Friday. We didn't want a standard wedding meal preferring to have a more informal get together with friends and family. We opted for the bottomless brunch. On arrival the staff had gone the extra mile. The table was tastefully dressed, there were welcoming and congratulatory messages. There were fresh flowers and some gifts for us. The food was excellent, served in good time and was all well presented. As for the drink element of our meal...it just kept coming. The staff were very generous and never kept us waiting. They did brilliantly and all of our guests commented upon them. We had a lovely time on our special day. As someone born and raised in Bristol, I have always felt a sense of pride when I see local businesses grow and thrive, and Pieminister is a perfect example of that. Knowing it started right here in my hometown makes supporting it feel even more worthwhile. From the moment we stepped inside, the experience was warm and welcoming. The service was genuinely outstanding. In particular, the lady with glasses and several badges on her uniform really made our visit special. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space, checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. It is rare to find such thoughtful service these days, and she deserves to be recognised for it. The food was just as impressive. I opted for the cheese pie, served with creamy mashed potato and a generous helping of vegetarian gravy. Every element of the dish was delicious. The pie had a crisp golden pastry with a rich cheesy filling that was full of flavour without being overpowering. The mash was smooth and comforting, and the vegetarian gravy tied it all together beautifully. It is clear that a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. The restaurant itself was beautifully designed and well laid out. I particularly appreciated the warm ambient lighting, which created a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. It felt inviting without being too casual, perfect for a comfortable meal out. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the portion size. While the quality of the food was excellent, the quantity did not quite match the price point. For the cost, I was hoping for something a little more substantial. That said, the flavours and overall experience still made it worthwhile. All in all, it was a lovely visit with great food, exceptional service, and a setting that strikes just the right tone. I will definitely be returning, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comforting meal with a touch of Bristol charm.

On the hottest day of the year when you can’t imagine anything being worst than leaving the house, this was the best place to ever happen!! Came for bottomless brunch and the service was absolutely faultless on a busy Saturday. The food (especially moolin rouge) was incredible. Without doubt the best brunch I’ve had in a long time. I was so hesitant to do a brunch here to begin with but so glad I came as everything was great. Have already started to recommend so I’m sure you’ll be seeing me again!!

Popped in on my way home from work yesterday and had a very good experience. Not a restaurant I ever use, pretty sure it was my first time in a Pieminister and the young man Dylan who was serving made me feel very welcome. He was polite, friendly and easy to interact with. Seemed happy in his job. Food came out quickly and was nicely presented. Cosy little place. Sat back from the bustling Broad Quay of Bristol’s City Centre I was quite content. You wouldn’t think from the outside it goes right back, so you can dine comfortably away from the street full of busy activity.

Lovely server who was very helpful and attentive. The food was ok. Chips and gravy were nice, coleslaw was their own style and in some kind of tomato based sauce rather than mayo. Got the goat cheese, sweet potato and spinach pie that was cheesy in taste but the pastry and portion size could’ve been better. Ginger ale was gorgeous and refreshing though. Also a great GF selection too which is brilliant when you really fancy a pie although it was too hot for me to try one.

Dylan was great - made our bottomless brunch an amazing experience- will definitely come back! Food was brilliant and so tasty!

The two stars are for the Hot Chocolate only not the store, The store is fine, but I ordered a hot chocolate for £3.49 and was expecting a rich chocolate flavor but it tasted like it was made with water and not milk? If I wanted an instant hot chocolate I could have gone elsewhere, so unfortunately will not be going back there for anything as I only drink hot chocolate.

My husband and I discovered Better Food in March 2025 and we have just loved it! This is now where we do our supermarket shop. We love that there is plenty of choice but not so much it takes forever to do your shopping, the prices are very reasonable, the staff are very friendly, the coffee and cake are a must. The fruit and veg are not in plastic packaging. In fact most isn’t packaged at all which is fab! And those that are can be composted. And you get offers on multi-buys. The apples are a taste sensation. Full of crisp and juicy texture. I never knew that such an ordinary fruit could taste so good! (Get your hands on Spartan 🤤) You can bring your own packaging and refill some store cupboard staples. And the bread is not packed with fillers. There is so much to love here. I could go on. I can’t recommend it enough and only wish we had discovered it sooner and that there were many more of them. Everyone should have access to one.

We have shopped here for over 10 years. They have a wide range of organic produce and products. They have a really friendly, helpful, polite, and nice team, all of whom know about most of the products and produce sold here. I will always recommend Better Food to people who are looking for the best quality food, drink, and health products. Keep it up guys 💪

You have to hand it to them. They’ve seen the cost of living crisis, said ‘hold my organic £7.25 aubergine’ and promptly decided to go in the opposite direction of cost saving initiatives. It’s the only place that I’ve heard upper middle class folks actively whisper about potentially shoplifting - they don’t of course because it’s only a titillating prospect around a basque cheesecake on a Thursday balmy evening and a slice of that can’t be put in jeopardy being in police custody. This is the organic shop with an eye on being to St Werburghs what a channel hand bag shop is to the champs-elysees. Couldn’t recommend more the activity of doing a Dale Winton Supermarket sweep in here - take 5 random objects, move to the till and note the total price. My you’ll giggle. No inflatable goods though. Think they need a lock, key and guard for the cheese and olives. I’ve seen the Tower of London take greater security measures for far less valuable items. Love the staff especially the fella who holds a £19.50 small salad box like it’s a freshly delivered baby. Makes me well up and that’s before I’ve taken out a mortgage to pay for the aforementioned salad. Will go again plenty of times because I never learn my lesson. Yours, once comfortable; now broke.

Love this store,quality food. I tried to get nettle t.bags, sold out everywhere, double the price on Amazon. Managed to get them here. Treated myself to a lovely gluten free cake and organic gluten free beef burgers. 😋

A truly fabulous discovery. Plenty of choices for a veggie like me and I ordered the falafel and halloumi pitta and was astonished at the size of it. Enough to keep me going for the day :-) Fast friendly service from an efficient team and super tasty food. I shall indeed be returning!

So good! I live thousands of miles away and I wish I had a place like this at home. I got a regular size box with falafels, various salads, hummus, pickles, peppers, and a couple sauces. It was so much food for £8! Everything tasted really fresh and delicious. Really well done falafels. The employee was super friendly and helpful and walked me through everything since I'd never been there before. I enjoyed eating half my meal in the quiet room upstairs overlooking the street, and then grabbed a lid on my way out and ate the other half for dinner later.

A fast, efficient outlet for the Bristol favourite Eat a Pitta. The normal range of falafels with salads, dips and sauces either served in boxes or pittas. A tasty, filling treat for lunch or dinner. Very popular with all sorts of people including many students in this part of town.

This place serves genuinely mind blowing vegan/veg wraps which tastes perfect. Must try and very filling for the price.

I was really disappointed with my visit. The staff were very unfriendly and seemed completely unmotivated. Even though they clearly saw me waiting, they ignored me for quite some time before finally taking my order. To make things worse, they were laughing and talking about us while we were there. Overall, a very unpleasant experience – definitely not recommended.

Beautiful day, delicious juice, comfortable sitting under the umbrella on the garden bench, could be perfect experience but one of the staff members comes to sit on a nearby bench and smoke their cigarette here and I have no choice but to inhale its awful smell as wind is blowing it towards me. Last year the other staff member used to lie down on one of these benches or play loud the videos on his phone. I like this cafe but that kind of behaviour is putting me off, sorry.

I really like the concept of Better Foods and the quality of the products seems good. However, I’ve been overcharged a number of times now, and it’s starting to get frustrating. It’s happened for various reasons — items that were meant to be discounted but weren’t, discounts that didn’t come off, or prices that were simply wrong to begin with. It’s disappointing, because I’d love to keep shopping here regularly, but this issue has been persistent enough that it’s becoming hard to ignore.

This place is wonderful. It is a restaurant and a whole foods shop combined. It has food that suits for anyone's liking, they have a range of buffet options such as samosas, pasta, salads, lentils, scotch eggs and frittatas. The cost is also great as you can choose your size of meal. They also cater for takeaway food. Alongside savoury food, there are sweet foods, cakes and cookies. There is also a whole foods shop in the complex, it has a range of organic items. Thank you for catering for me Better Food! 5 stars

Absolutely love better foods!! This is my go to shop to get all my refill items and their kombucha and alternative milk selections are great as well! I love that they have stamp system for refiled items and love how much different variety of foods you can buy that are organic and fair trade. The staff members are lovely as well and they have good covid measures with hand sanitisers around as well. One small amendments will be that the refill station for nuts and teas are a bit crammed in the entrance bit so it will be great if the teas or dome of the refill can move to other areas. Also having more varieties of seeds and nuts could be great as well. Also some items are a bit pricy so having some student discounts could help as well.Other than this absolutely love the shop and highly recommend it!

Amazing variety of organic food. Vegan and vegetarian goods, craft beers, ales, ciders. It is a bit pricey for me but never seen this huge variety of vegan goods before in the centre. Good to see this place is exist, I hope it will be available in lower prices as well soon. Veganism not just for rich people, it should be cheaper as vegan food use less resources and less energy to produce.

Nearly £3 for a 90% air meringue... tasted nice, pretty hard but would not recommend.

Wide range of options, staff are very nice. A bit hit and miss on some of the pasties, I imagine some are less popular so have been sat for longer which dries them out. The traditional cornish pasty is excellent though.

Picked up items from Too good to go , and they were tasty and fresh even at the end if the day.

The staff here is really nice☺️I was not hungry but thirsty then so I only had a bottle of water, next time I'll be here for some food

I literally never write reviews but am doing it for this place because it’s so damn good. I’ve spent a lot of time in Cornwall and would say this is the best pastie you’re going to get outside of being in fal or somewhere down there. Honestly cannot recommend it enough, if you just need hot, high quality food thats good for the soul and served by lovely staff. Cannot express how happy it made me to find out there was one in Bristol after moving from Cardiff. 10/10 could not recommend more highly

Sorry, but this isn't a good pasty for the price. The pasty you get from the Sainsbury's hot counter is much better than this and is less than half the price. Surely that shouldn't be the case? I'd say the pastry on the outside is okay, but the contents on the inside really lets it down. I had the 'Traditional Cornish Steak Pasty'. It's a shame that they are called the Cornish Bakehouse, as it kinda suggests that you'd get a pasty like you'd get in from a proper Cornish bakery, but that's definitely not what you get.
