Me and my partner stopped here when passing by on a trip to Bristol and so glad we did as the pizza was incredible. This was the best vegan pizza I've ever had in my entire life. I had the plant-based lamb pizza, with the vegan garlic dip and my partner had the fancy ham and pineapple pizza and we were both blown away. Will have to come back to Bristol again!

Best pizza ever and the service was so lovely!! I accidentally forgot to say no chorizo and they remade the whole pizza! Such a nice place to eat, would definitely recommend 💕💕

Amazing fresh pizza and fab gluten free options. Friendly staff and lovely buzzing atmosphere. We sat outside - outdoor seating is on the main road but lovely to people watch. Would definitely recommend lunch deal - small pizza and dip for £9.

Loved the hot honey chorizo pizza, was absolutely Devine. Pizza came out nice and quick You must get the deluxe garlic bread as it was just so good, garlicky and full of flavour

A few interesting pizzas to be found here; a ham and pineapple (although it's not called that), a lamb pizza (never seen that before) and a Korean chicken style one. Had the last two which were both nice with the Korean having the edge. The deep fried lasagna bites were worth sharing also. Nice service and surroundings.

I know this is a pizza place but if you go - get the arancini!! They were absolutely delightful. Genuinely the best I've ever had. The rest of the food was very well seasoned and tasted good too. The salad was slightly underwhelming but overall had a lovely time and yummy well made food!

Visited on a quiet Tuesday lunch time with my daughter and had the £10 adults meal deal which includes a 9” inch Marg (I paid an extra quid for prosciutto), dip (I went for the pesto mayo) and any soft drink. Food all superb, their sourdough pizzas and faultless and I’m obsessed with the dips. Kids meal deal at £10 is slightly higher end but the pasta and ice cream were both demolished with relish so worth it! Kids do eat free with an adults main though (Sun to Friday) - so next time I’d pay for a 12” regular pizza and get the kids meal free, I was just a bit flappy yesterday and hadnt worked out which was better value! (Doh…) Marked slightly lower for atmosphere just because it was a bit empty in there when we visited, but I’ve been when it’s busier and it’s very ‘buzzy.’ We love the decor and vibe.

The staff at Flour & Ash are very friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and everything was delicious! We particularly liked the Arancini balls. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Good experience overall. Nice food and good service. The arancini is amazing, definitely recommend getting this if you’re going. The risotto is also very good. Unfortunately, like other reviews mention, the pizza I got for my main was very soggy. It was so wet that everytime I picked up a slice everything just fell off, I had to eat it with a knife and fork. If the pizza’s could be made where they aren’t so soggy in the middle then this place would get 5/5 stars. Still finished strong though with some lovely desserts. The chocolate mousse was delicious and the panna cotta was even nicer!

Delicious pizzas vs poor service...with near empty restaurant the food service management was poor, we waited for the drinks order with a near empty restaurant, then proceed to tell us they didn't had 3 things from the menu (a starter that I really wanted and 2 ingredients), we noticed a pizza had came out of oven for quite some time and was just there waiting to get cold...surprise the men on the table next to ours as soon as finished his starter the pizza came to him, we order a side and came at the end of our pizzas again poor timing. At the end I asked to take off service charge and the girl gave me an attitude. The pizzas are really great, loved the food but training is required

Wood fired Neapolitan style pizza and Italian dishes served in a comfortable setting. We enjoyed some massive olives and a pint to begin. The arancini starter had plenty of sauce under, which was nice and tasty. The Frito misto was excellent. The prawns were particularly crisp and delicious. We also shared the fennel sausage, truffle béchamel and leek pizza - it was well worth the trip up to Bristol for. Such a nice change to a tomato base. We would definitely come again as the food was so nice, with plenty of other dishes that looked worth trying. Service and atmosphere were also nice for a Saturday lunchtime.

Nice friendly service and a decent selection on the menu, the carbonara pizza was quite nice but the special was disappointing. The pizzas are quite small and the dough on the edge is so thick it wasn’t cooked through. Feels like it would be a good place for families with kids to go

Pizza was nice! Not outstanding as was quite wet and thin base so hard to eat, but nice and good value for money. The aioli dip was also good. Very loud inside though, however this was from the table behind us, who you could also hear from downstairs. Has quite a small menu but the option to add toppings. Staff also friendly.

I popped in just for a quick bite on my way through Bristol, and am very happy with my decision! The marmite and cheese bread was delicious, and I enjoyed some tasty malteser ice cream to take away as well. I recommend this place.

Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't very tasty. It was very bitter and salty. I think this was because the base was very black, they added olive brine to the toppings and the ham was also salty. The pizza was also undercooked (quite an achievement considering how black it was). They also didn't add the extra toppings I ordered. Shame

Absolutely delicious and unusual pizza flavours, really good to have a salad option and it was delicious, the kombucha was really good and the ice-cream was the most delicious eaten in a while. Our kids were well catered for by understanding staff and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back in a heartbeat.

Pizza was great, delicious sourdough base and good balance of flavours for the toppings but not a blow-your-face-off outstanding pizza. The dip selection was interesting, the harissa/aioli combo (i think it’s called the red eye) slapped! I think a bit of a wider selection would help, we wanted a starter but weren’t convinced by any option and it’s unusual for a pizza place to not serve espresso! Staff were so friendly and attentive! A nice experience, but not sure if the food justifies the price

I had such a great experience at Pizza Workshop! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The real star of the show, though, is the pizza. I tried Pizza No. 08, and it was absolutely outstanding. The base was perfectly thin and crisp, with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings balanced beautifully. Every bite was packed with flavor — you can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into making it. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious pizza with a relaxed vibe, Pizza Workshop is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back, and Pizza No. 08 is now my go-to!

Beautiful derco and great pizza dough. The ham pizza is a bit Salty and not very juicy but the sausage one is pretty. Still good place to visit with friends though.

Hidden in plain sight! Had the chance to try their food and blown away literally the most tasty pizza I’ve ever had their attention to flavour is unmatched! Really fun and happy bunch of staff as well which makes a change from the bigger chain eatery’s 11/10 all day long.

Orderd pizzas for delivery to the children's hospital, turned up a total mess as the pictures. Called to question and not a single care given. Not their problem etc etc, nothing they will do. Disgusting way to run a business.

Went on a super quiet Sunday, but the pizza is a solid 10 out 10. Light, crispy base, superb tomato sauce, perfect amount of toppings.

Did a pizza workshop with my husband as a birthday gift. (I also have previously brought this as a gift for a friend & husband) It was fun, easy, enjoyable and tasty!! Everyone was super friendly and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Discretionary service charge and now automatically adding charity donations on to the bill. When does this madness end? The service was average at best. No visit during my meal to ask for additional drinks, I had to go to the bar and request to pay my bill and also request a take away box to take home my remaining pizza. I’d ordinarily have sympathy but the place was about 10% full on a Friday afternoon with the staff having a good old chat behind the bar. I won’t be returning.

I come here as part of a work group for lunch, the set menu is a grate offer and good value for money. As a large group we was all happy that our food all come out together with no delay in the special requests for dietary needs too. Service was friendly, always making sure we had what we needed, always happy to help and made sure we ws looked after through out our meal. The food was of a very good quality, perfect quantity and presented very well. Some of us had cocktails and they were very tasty too. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back again

Atmosphere and ambience was nice. Food was decent, nothing groundbreaking. My biggest gripe was the service. Took ages to get served. Asked for a glass of wine that never materialised and overall felt like service was a second thought. It just felt like they could've done with better organization. I did spot what appeared to be loads of takeaway orders so perhaps they we prioritizing that over people in the restaurant?

We found the atmosphere and seating suited a group of women meeting up after years apart. Of course we chatted and the service was attentive and appropriate. We loved the food, with me reluctantly accepting that the doughnuts in custard (I don’t know its proper name) highly recommended by my daughters, was a step too far. I was too full. Many thanks and we’ll be back!

We had received a recommendation for the venue from a friend who lives in Bristol and we weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly, the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and most importantly the food was excellent. Also the whole visit was great value for money. One member of staff was very friendly and helped us in picking something to do the following day as we were visiting the city for the fist time! Highly recommended.

As a Bristol local, I love this restaurant! A great selection of pizza, pasta and other options. The pizzas we had were amazing, especially the venetian and the Calabria! Very nice servers and a good vibe. I did not see any gluten or lactose free options but i think some of the salads are.

If I could give this restaurant 7 stars I would. Ok so really lovely pizza , but it was the service that stood out. For once I did not mind paying the 12% service charge… we felt really well looked after. Oh did I mention the wine was excellent and ambience is good, not quiet but we did go peak hours on a Friday night. You will not be disappointed..

A firm favourite of my dining partner who lives locally and with whom I meet occasionally for breakfast here. The FEB breakfasts are comprehensive, large and she rarely finishes hers. A free Americano with every breakfast order. Covers for about a score inside, with additional alfresco seating where the traffic misbehaving on the busy road can be scoffed at, while enjoying your coffee. On street parking, for those travelling beyond walking distance, is unpredictable. Famously award winning for pizzas with a good delivery service, but this aspect has not yet been tried by this reviewer

Great local cafe. Lots of gluten free options. Treat yourself to a full English and a cheeky cannoli to blow away the cobwebs. Chefs know their stuff

The single most enjoyed pizza of my life! Contributing factors may have been that I was cold, wet and hungry, having just cycled up the hill in the rain... But the Allegretto pizza was excellent! And the garlic bread with cheese I got for my friends to distract them from being interested in my pizza, also got favourable comments. As I went to pick up, I was only there briefly, but seemed charming restaurant atmosphere.

Amazing place for dinner, staff are down to earth and really make you feel welcomed. We had a lovely night for my birthday would highly recommend! The pizzas are amazing!

A cracking local gem with friendly staff, great cosy atmosphere and very reasonably priced (and delicious food). I am very lucky to have somewhere like this so local. Orders were hand written and prices added on a calculator by the staff, I personally found this added to chilled vibe of the establishment and gave it a lovely, cosy quality. It was really nice to not have the staff hiding behind screens when taking and totalling orders. Salmon on ciabatta for breakfast was great! I will be back to try more of the evening’s pizza menu in due course!

I’m here just for the weekend and really fancied pizza, so glad I came to this spot. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were lovely, especially Abby who served me. I had the lunch deal and added a few toppings (£8 total is a STEAL) and the pizza was light, fluffy but not soggy! Perfectly cooked and although smaller, was actually the perfect size for feeling satisfied but not overfilled. I also had the margarita which was perfectly balanced, and felt very comfortable despite being a solo diner! Highly recommend

Phenomenal pizza! Plus they can do any pizza gluten free, and the GF base is excellent! They were really considerate and on the ball with coeliac disease... Even marking it on our receipt - so you know the kitchen was informed! Garlic fries are an essential! Service is excellent and you can takeaway anything you can't eat. Should get 6 stars...

Incredible pizzas! Possibly the best pizza I have ever eaten. Lots of vegan and omnivore options, great happy hour deal and super friendly service from Abbie (or Abby...I didn't check the spelling) highly recommended, will 100% be back for more pizzas, fries and drinks.

Wow... This place is a real gem!! Aside from the great beer selection, amazing staff and some of the best pizza I've ever had, this place is just correct in every form.. I cannot fault it, early opening times, prices aren't hiked for the quality of hand stretched dough, cooked consistently on every visit, the sides are unique, the toppings are a good variety, it's strange to find myself wanting to become a local of a pizzeria / ale House, but it just works, well done, especially to the team 🙌🏻👌🏻 thank you!! Popped in here for some food and discovered the most delicious pizzas! Haven't had a really tasty pizza like that for ages. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere was just lovely and cosy especially as it's around Christmas time. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the St Michael's area.

My husband and I have been here a couple of times and each visit does not disappoint. Really good pizza and sides, plus a healthy selection of drinks. Vibe is great -- cozy and relaxed. But best of all, the whole staff is friendly and accommodating. They look at the customers with an open smile yet still very professional. I've been to some restaurants where the staff is robotic, can't smile, and do not even acknowledge your presence because they don't even look at you (my ultimate pet peeve). So a big kudos to the lovely staff at Beerd. Great food and drink suggestions too from them. Two thumbs up.

Wonderfully cafe, bar and restaurant. The decor is fantastic. Only popped in for a coffee to take away, slightly expensive but what do you expect in the center of Bristol. Lovely outside sitting area for the summer months. Well worth a visit the inside is a treat to the eyes!

It was our first time in Bristol and we decided to visit this trendy restaurant/cafe/bar. It's split into two distinct areas. As you enter its more of a cozy cafe, with comfy sofas and in the back it's more like a restaurant with tables and chair. All very light and airy and really inviting. We sat at the restaurant. The service is super friendly and hospitable. Well done team They have a huge variety of food and a very big selection of pizzas. From the classics to some amazing innovative ideas that taste great. The pizza is big and definitely enough for two medium eaters. Great quality. Overall a fun, happy place to visit

Really lovely setting for a light lunch. I went for the Bahia Piccante pizza which was really tasty, the pepperoni had just the right amount of kick to it. My partner had the falafel wrap and said it was very delicious as well. They had a houseplant stall in the middle where you could purchase them and I did go a bit wild in the aisles with this. All in all very reasonably priced and will be returning!

A great place outside Bristol City Centre with a lovely atmosphere, excellent food and efficient and friendly service. We had 4 different dishes, all of which were lovely, and very reasonably priced. A small Chicken Caesar Salad, a small Feta Cheese Salad, a Toasted Falafel Wrap and Falafel Salad Bowl. With a very generous and very good portion of fries which we shared between all 4 of us. Nice drinks range too. The pizzas looked amazing. Huge and lots of toppings. They also had a small plants range for sale.

We loved this joint! Great Sunday roast. I wanted something different so went for their goat's cheese and sweet potato wellington and it was 😙👌🏽 Rounded it off with a vanilla ice cream affogato (see my badly recorded video 😂) Definitely wanna come back here one day 🫶🏽

Great foods and the top service! Love the place but it does get really REALLY busy and loud! We enjoyed the time tho. We went early for dinner and left earlyish before it gets too crowded.

Large bar, outdoor seating and a good variety of seating which many bars lack. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is a good selection of drinks. The pizza’s are good and the service was quick and efficient. There were annoying flies inside and so investment in UV fly killers would help. The odd socket for mobile chargers would have been useful but hardly an essential unless like me running a bit low on juice. Overall nothing should distract from a comfortable and well managed place.

I had such a wonderful experience at Taste of Napoli! The vegan options here are fantastic, especially the pizza – full of flavor, with a perfectly crisp base and generous toppings that really stand out. I also tried the large Sicilian cannolo, and it was absolutely divine – fresh, creamy, and so satisfying. The staff are genuinely lovely, warm, and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The venue itself is on the smaller side, but it’s beautifully done and has such a cozy, authentic charm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious vegan-friendly Italian food and a truly enjoyable dining experience!

Sucks will never to got to this miserable place again, with racist and rude staff, I used to follow them on Instagram and wanted to try them, first the up stairs is dirty, my cup and plate did not fit together, the tray was dirty was dirty , even my cake they served me one with a piece of it missing on the top. Horrible place to be, and also no WiFi, the lady mentioned they do not use WiFi here, how I am supposed to set upsatisrs with no network or WiFi ?! After I go out the lady cursed and kept looking at me form the windo. Very rude.

Lovely food, fantastic people. This place runs by an Italian family from Napoli. Obviously, they know their stuff. In fact, visited this place 5 years ago and loved the food. Visited it again in 2024 and had a wonderful pizza again. Highly recommended for a small lunch or afternoon snack. Have a chat with the owner and he will be happy to help you.

When you enter Taste of Napoli you jump directly to Italy: from the wide selection of pizza to the dessert every is authentic and done like in Italy. The service was extremely polite and we felt welcome from the moment we entered. I strongly suggest to visit this cozy place if you are wondering how the pizza taste in Italy

Again: love this one with ham? Almost the best one except margherita. (Really want to know its name! It just said house pizza) Update: The ham one is full of cheese. Pepperoni is a bit spicy. Great! Love the latte here. Love single pizza slices!!! Perfect choice for someone enjoying eating alone. The margherita is good although I prefer pepperoni. Cannoli tastes great as a first try

Feels like a great place for a large gathering with family or friends. Loved how thin the pizzas were. Though they could use a little more cheese! Please! You seat yourself an order from the app or the bar. They have a kids menu as well! I’d go with the pizza.

Went to The Stable in Bristol with my team for a pizza and a pint. Overall, it was a good experience without being amazing. The pizzas went down well with everyone — I had The Meat Is On, which was decent if not outstanding. Without doubt though, the chilli oil gave it a welcome kick. Thin crust, nicely done. The craft lager I tried was very good, but at £6.50 a pint it’s definitely on the pricey side. The venue itself is pleasant, with a great location overlooking the harbour and a brilliant mural featuring some of Bristol’s best-known faces. That said, it was pretty empty for a Thursday afternoon, which didn’t do the atmosphere any favours. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and service was quick. Not somewhere that blew me away, but worth popping in for a bite to eat — though maybe just the one pint at those prices.

Excellent service. We were a large group on a Friday evening. Most orders were for pizzas. Nice choice of toppings. Cheese n mac a good alternative with lots of veggies. Good atmosphere. Loud but that is to be expected. Nice setting on the harbour front.

Ive been celiac for over 10 years and the gf pizza was the best I ever had. Other ones I had at other places are usually like cardboard. Staff were brilliant as well. Going again when next in bristol

This chain has always been a family favourite. Menu is always changing and always delightful. The 5 sample ciders makes the experience even better. Tasting notes are updated on the beer mats. Take a pen to taste, score and award your team favourite. Usually a good selection, Perry, dry, sweet and fruity. 6% normally hits the mark. Their vouchers make a nice birthday treat.

We sat at a table outside right next to the water at The Bristol Stable, and it was such a nice way to enjoy our Sunday in the city. Lovely spot and a good part of our Bristol trip.

Our absolute favourite restaurant in Bristol that has been our go-to date night venue since the start of our relationship. The food is amazing, real authentic Italian cuisine with fantastic fresh and rich flavours. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and always remember us and always go out of their way to make our experience special. When we turned vegan about 18 months ago we were worried we wouldn’t be able to go there anymore as Italian restaurants aren’t always great for vegan options, but we needn’t have worried! They have an extensive vegan menu which is delicious! 10 out of 10 every time!

Oh my god. This may be in my top 3 BEST restaurants I've ever visited in my entire life. The pizzas were so big and SO yummy, we chose Moltobuono specifically for its wide variety of white base pizzas and it was incredible. Well made and delicious throughout. The staff were all fantastic and the atmosphere was so lively and wonderful. I honestly have absolutely no gripes with our experience. It is genuinely the most authentic Italian we've ever had and certainly the most delicious. I will be recommending this place to everyone. I hope it stays open and successful for many years. Definitely book a table in advance!

We are visiting from Canada and this was one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip so far. Had both pizzas and pasta and everything was fresh and delicious. With a dairy allergy, I really appreciated the dairy-free cheese option! Service was excellent too.

I was quite disappointed with my visit. Service was slow when it came to taking our order, which was frustrating. However, once we did order, the food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the speed. My coke arrived without any ice or garnish, while other tables were served properly. The ragu pasta was very dry and stodgy with barely any sauce, the pizza was soggy, and the focaccia was underwhelming without even a simple balsamic dip. The staff were friendly, which was appreciated, but overall the experience didn’t feel worth going out for.

Tried for the first time. I had the vegan black olive pasta (don't know the full name). It was good, I liked it. The service was very quick, didn't have to wait too long for the order. The staff is very helpful and sweet. The grated cheese on top was charged extra when it was billed, I was not informed of this before. I thought it is a part of the pasta, like it usually is. Some transparency there would have been appreciated. They offer a good variety of pastas n pizzas and have a good vegan menu as well. But don't have different shapes of pasta like penne or macaroni. Nonetheless, taste is good. The ambience is lovely. The indoor seating is beautiful and cozy. Good experience.

Had a really great time at Moltobuono! The food selection was really good so it was difficult to decide what to get, but I ended up getting a burro and salvia version of a special they had (Sardinian gnocchi) - super tasty, filling, and served as a good portion! The food other people were getting looked amazing as well, including the pizza. The staff was super friendly and I felt more like I was in Italy than in Italy itself lol it felt like home. The tiramisu was also really good and I especially appreciated the detail of the pretty tray it came in because eating happens with the eyes too! Would definitely go again and recommend, they are doing a great job over there.

We had the most amazing time at pizza on the park!! We wanted to give a massive shout out to the whole team, and especially our server Joss who made our evening so lovely. The food was genuinely spot on - we both couldn’t fault it. They have such a great variety and cater perfectly to those who are vegetarian/vegan. I went here for the first time with my partner the other day and had such a lovely experience. We booked through First Table for a last minute date. We arrived 15 minutes early and still had a warm welcome and were led to our table. Our waitress, Alex, was fab and so helpful. She gave us lots of recommendations of what to have and was happy to answer all our questions. We had starters, 2 pizzas, and dessert and can’t fault the food. Prices were reasonable considering the portion size and quality of the food. Decent veggie and vegan choice. Would make the perfect date or special occasion spot, or even just a casual lunch spot.

Ordered off Ubereat. The worst I have ever eaten in years. Tomato sauce was bland and liquid. The colour was as bland as the taste, disgusting. So was the mozzarella, dry and hard to cut without any creaminess. Last, you don’t put fresh basil on pizzas before cooking. Are you a serious pizzeria? I can even see basil beneath mozzarella. Everything about this place yells "Pizzaaaaa!" and let it said that it's exceptional quality pizza. Great atmosphere with full prep and proper pizza oven on the go in full view of diners. Decor is casual botanical giving a sense of bucolic Italiano, and staff are great; friendly, helpful, and (in my experience with a large group) good fun. Will definitely visit again given the opportunity to get back to Bristol.

My boyfriend absolutely loves this place and decided to take me all the way to Bristol to try it. I was very excited and saw all the hype and good reviews people have given it. However, I felt like the steak was lacking in flavour, and especially the sauce. I tried Beef dripping, wild mushroom, and peppercorn sauces. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of any of them, and they didn’t add much, or any, extra flavour to the steak. The butters overpower any beef flavour there might have possibly been. Also tasted very under-salted, or like no salt was added at all. I guess I was not much of a fan of cooking it myself, though I completely admit I wanted to try it. It just took a bit too long to cook it, rather than enjoy it, and no matter how long I cooked it, the steak kept the texture of a rare steak— extremely tender, which sounds good, but it was just way too soft for me. Prior to this, I had pork belly bites as a starter which were absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend. I know a lot of people love this place, but I guess it just wasn’t flavorful enough for me and I wasn’t a fan of the texture. That’s my main complaint. Service was perfect, and the 20’s theme is great too.

We have been wanting to go to this place for ages, and we finally had the chance. Omg what a meal. The staff were great, very helpful and chatty, the atmosphere was nice too in this 1920's themed restaurant. The food was another level. Camembert to start baked in a bread roll with red onion jam amazing. I had the fillet steak and my wife the fish of the day which was tuna steak. The theme of the restaurant is the meat/fish comes seared only, then with the hot stones provided you use your choice of butters to cook the meat to your liking. It's was flavour heaven, with a cowboy and a garlic butter. Beef dripping sauce, Mac n cheese and Parmesan chips. If that was my last meal, then what a meal. We cannot wait to go back

We enjoyed every bite! I ordered ribeye and my partner ordered fillet and they were amazing! It was fun to cook them on hot stone to our liking! Pork belly appetizer was a bit too salty but still delicious!

I used to work in a steak-on-the-stone restaurant and it was nice to visit a restaurant of the same concept and be on the receiving end 😊. The steak cuts were good quality (though under-salted) - the added butter sauce and side made it value for money. The butters were great but the sauces, I have to say, were underwhelming. The pepper sauce was bland and floury and the red wine sauce was sweet - where I expected a rich red wine jus I had something of a store bought sweet chilli (minus the chilli) consistency. The Parmesan and truffle chips were overcooked and I tasted no truffle. The saving experience here was definitely the service. We were instructed perfectly, and someone noticed when our stone was cold and brought us a new one (this I especially appreciated). The Swoon gelato was a lovely way to end the meal off. I would come back and I’m sure - knowing more of what to order - leave a 5 star review.

First time visiting here after probably trying 80% of Bristols steak houses and I was intrigued, the “cook you’re own” style steak restaurant is not really for me but here we are let’s give it a go! Order a flat iron steak 12oz - truffle Parmesan fries, butter - honey and bearnaise and chimichurri sauce. Also order side of mac and cheese and tender stem broccoli. Let’s talk steak - the cut was quality, good sear when served and lots of flavour from the cut itself. Tender and juicy then waiter took us through the “way too cook” using hot stone. Would say overall it was a quality steak, cooked different bits from rare to mid rare and even well done on cap end, just to see how the hot stone would handle it. Overall really nice no complaints with the steak at all - lovely cut and quality meat. Both butters were lovely and flavourful would have liked more to be honest, to run through the steak instead of using it to grease the stone. I had 2 sauces a chimichurri and beef dripping - both sauces were exceptional - rich deep flavours and palette warming the beef dripping hit hard was so glossy and umami! But don’t sleep on the chimichurri, fragrant bright sweet and acidic just how it should be! But here’s where I think it let me down and not quite hit the high bar mark - the sides! Mac and cheese was dry and pretty all round bland without any real tasting notes, broccoli was standard nothing wild is anything lacked any sear just plain boiled, but thankfully not over done and soft. The fries, tiny portion and upgrade to truffle n parm was pointless not a flavour of either on those. The fries were here to complement the dish and help soak up the juices but just way this is served it’s not really possible. Overall I’d give it a solid 7.5/10 and wouldn’t turn anyone away from going! Cook you’re own steak is not my favourite thing and always puts me off but I would say this gaff is probably best at doing it - if you into that style of steak restaurants well this is place to go!! But the venting is not the best and can get really smokey! Would not recommend for anyone with breathing difficulties!! Special mention to staff here - really attentive and on the ball, friendly but not over hosting, they made the experience really good!

A beautiful gem of a restaurant. We visited on Friday, the atmosphere and decor is warm And inviting. It immediately felt welcoming. Little touches like a secret room behind a bookcase made it fun and quirky. Our waiter Thomas was very attentive and talked us through drinks and the menu knowledgeably, the cocktails were delicious and not the run of the mill ones you are often offered. The food was absolutely faultless and the cook your own concept is definitely something we would try again. We can’t wait to visit again.

It’s a meatiors must in Bristol. The meat was melt in your mouth outstanding, served seared and finished on hot plate style cooking, accompanied by flavoured butters and sauces. The atmosphere was understated yet inviting and the service was attentive but not intrusive. All round a lovely evening!

Delivered via Deliveroo. The worst pizza I have ever had, and I say that with honesty. Poor preparation, hardly any topping and as sloppy and limp as an undercooked pizza could be. Hopefully this was an off night for the chef, and that person reads this as a reminder to not take short cuts and be proud of the creation you provide, even if your faced with time pressures.

Decent pizza, however, better pizzas available in Bristol City Centre. I wish they would serve wine in a wine glass, however that’s a minor issue. Finally, I was charged incorrectly for 3 bottles of wine instead of 2. No apology offered, just a correction. Bit of a spoiler on the whole evening.

We love Franco Manca Pizza's. We have been to various locations around the country and find the quality good in all locations. Probably one of the best Pizza's we've ever had, lots of flavour and the crusts are so soft and fluffy. The garlic dip is really good, its very very garlicky, which we love. Nice white wine too.

Free post half-marathon pizza. Amazingly fast service and even refused to take a tip. Would dock a tiny bit for the fact that the Napoli only had 3 anchovies on it, but beggars can’t be choosers!

Had a delicious gluten free pepperoni pizza here back in December 2024! The server was incredibly friendly and repeated my order to me to make sure he had everything correct! It was delicious and we’d happily visit again. It does get very busy though so best to ring ahead! Not sure if this place is celiac friendly, but they seemed really happy to answer any questions, so probably worth ringing up to check in advance before visiting if you are!

The pizza was so delicious here and the scotch bonnet sauce was 10/10! It had such a nice kick to it. The waiter Red, was super helpful, friendly and had a great vibe. Will deffo grab food from here again 😋

Our waiter Zebedzee was so friendly and attentive, he really made our experience. It was my first time at Franco Manca, the brilliant service and lovely food has definitely made sure that I will be returning. Thank you Zebedzee!

It was my second time going. This is the best pizza I've ever had!!! I had the Funghi and a carne pizzette. The food took a while to come but the staff offered us a free garlic bread for the wait. It was well worth it!

Joel and Ella absolutely smashed it ! Service was incredible recommended us the best food! I had the calamari and chicken Caesar it was so juicy and scrumptious! These guys know how to serve 💅 On a real one super friendly and made me feel so comfortable!

We visited Bosco at Regent Street for the first time on the last day of August 2024. Their interior space is really nice and yes, they have a genuine pizza oven. Their staff have welcomed us with a smile and more than happy to help with questions on the menu. The pizzas do arrive instantly, but on the downside this means you’re eating your pizza before your starters or salad. Everything tasted amazing, and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

A good solid restaurant, service the best part but food could be better. Live nearby. Staff always been helpful and enjoyable but the food was better in the past than my most recent visits. Pizza is much better than their other offerings. Nice interior and atmosphere.

Throughout time, many great Joel’s have emerged; Joel Dommett - a frighteningly funny man, Joel Edgerton - a strikingly handsome bloke, and Billy Joel - a peerlessly talented gentleman. But there’s one that takes them all in a man-versus-Joel’s challenge - Mr Joel “FunnyHandsomeTalented” Bosco-Clifton. With a surname of Bosco-Clifton it was probably written in the (5) stars that he would thrive at this beautiful restaurant, but credit needs to be given where it is due. With that sort of pressure at birth, you’d forgive anyone to crumble, yet Joel grabbed a hold of that mantle and thrived as the Wednesday afternoon Maitre D. He was attentive, polite, thoughtful, wise and shared playful anecdotes to put my mind at ease after an acute case of the “what-pizza-should-have-itus” (an affliction that many can relate to). Keep up the good work Joel, and thank you for having us.

1/6/2024 Tasty Italian restaurant, we knew them from other branches. Can’t miss the pizza ( the dough is very good, crispy outside and soft inside) and arancini ( see the melting cheese from my photo), as well as the coffee ( aroma, after taste…. top 3 in Clifton on my list). Surprisingly got 50% discount today for the soft launch this weekend. All of the food and drinks is amazing, except the batter of calamari is too soft and loose. And luckily we have Kat to serve us, she’s cheerful, helpful and attentive, she is really a gem of the restaurant. Great love and definitely will return and recommend it to my friends. P.S.: -remember to check with staff of their “ today special pizza “ it may surprise you. -If owner find my review, please add back tiramisu on dessert menu. -Pannacotta on the bill marked “ Free”, apologies from the restaurant of our long waiting time.

We go there once or twice a month (we live about 200 yards away) and we really love it! It is our happy place for meals out. We mainly have pizzas (one of us is veggie, the other not) but we have also had pasta dishes and on a couple of occasions veggie and full English breakfasts. All totally brilliant and delicious. Good portion sizes too. We have taken friends from abroad there and they loved it too. We love the local Wiper and True draught IPA they serve.

Brilliant little place, big food and flavours. First time sitting in after a few takeaways. Great service, sat in the sunshine on a Sunday morning and had a very hearty hash with pancakes, chai and a pot of tea. Superb. Evening visit next!

Incredible spot. The pasta was the best pasta I have ever had. Incredible such big portions and fairly priced. Amazing meat hand made pasta and pizza. Arancini was delicious. Lovely staff and beautiful interiors.

Have eaten here a couple of times now and it is fantastic. Small local place but accommodating for a large table. All food we have had has been amazing quality and delicious - pizzas, pastas, breakfasts, starters, and sides! Service is always quick and friendly. We’ll be back!

Used to live round the corner from Napolita and was a regular customer. Ordered via Uber eats this eve and spend nearly £60. What we got was an insanely salty anchovies pizza with dry prawns on top of it. Love an anchovie pizza but this had so many on it that my partner couldnt eat it. Plus each slice of pizza had about 4 olives on it. The other pizza arrived with a lump of saggy salad dumped in the middle. I tried to pick off the salad and it came off in a big slimy slab with cheese stuck to it. Check the pics. The goats cheese pizza had so many toppings on it that it just tasted of salt as well. I loved the fact that napolitia were always really generous with their toppings but something's clearly gone wrong here. Really disappointing. Won't be ordering again.

Best pizza I've had in years! Gluten free base indistinguishable from gluten/normal. So good! Authentic. Fast service. Overlooks a busy urban street, yet still appealing with al fresco terrace seating.

Most beautiful pizza I've ever eaten, got a marinara and it was just right. The nicest chef brought it out to me and the atmosphere cannot be beaten. Definitely worth a stop.

It took a while for us to be seated because there was one waitress running the full restaurant. She was doing a great job but it definitely needed more staff on the floor. Portions are large,taste was good but not as good as Pi Shop. Even after two more staff came on it still took a while to get anyone's attention to order dessert then later get the bill. It's alright, not amazing. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back there but wouldn't complain if someone suggested it.

My new favourite restaurant! We had a great evening at Pepenero from start to finish. The food was delicious! We started with garlic bread and a meat selection followed by pasta dishes, would recommend the lasagne. The homemade gelato is definitely some of the best I’ve ever tried, great range of flavours too. The service was fantastic, the staff were attentive. You can tell this is a family run restaurant as the owner checked in with all the diners, it’s a little things like this that show someone really cares about their customers and the food they are serving. Can’t wait to go back, the pizzas looked incredible so will look forward to getting one next time.

I don't usually ever write reviews but this is by far the best pizza I have come across in Bristol. The dough is just perfect and the tomato sauce is fresh tasting. Though don't eat dairy I can still enjoy pizza as I remember due to their incredible vegan mozzarella! haven't tasted anything like that ever, so close to the real thing! 10/10

Good football pub, nice mix of home and away fans. The main bar has two bars and a pool hall and loads of seating. Court yard has tvs outside showing the football and another bar on the other side of the yard with more guest real ales. I thought it was nicer in the back bar and faster service if it's packed. The main bar could have used more staff but were all friendly enough and you actually get given proper glasses, which is always nice. Around £5 a pint.

Dropped in for a burger and pint on a Sunday afternoon. Really impressed with the taste and how hot both the burger and fries were. Good service time and friendly staff. Serve Blackthorn! Great place!

Supposedly a designated away pub, and admittedly is the first pub this side of The Memorial Ground without staff on the door. Not many others seem to have read the same reviews as us, but friendly, welcoming staff, and very good beer... What else could you want? I'm certainly not going to complain about not having to queue six deep, and wait half an hour to be served... Did I mention fast service? Parking is a bit first come, first served, but if we're still in the same division, I'll be back next season, and there's no higher praise than that!

The sportsman is still a great pub with loads of pool tables, good beers and great atmosphere. But the quality of the pizza no longer puts this pub as a pizza specialist. The pizzas are now made with the cheap cheese they use in kebab shops, the toppings are stingy and you get charged for the rocket, garlic and chili they used to throw on for free. Bang average pizza at best. Will still use the pub because it's great for sport but won't be rushing to get a pizza again anytime soon.

Haven't been here for ages so last night was a great suprise. The service was really good from the whole team. We ordered two pizza's and the chef even brought them over to us. I've eaten a fair few pizza's over the year's and I can confirm both were excellent. Great fresh flavour and loaded with toppings. Also had a portion of chips that were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The pizzas were around £11 each which is great value considering you can sit in and enjoy a drink. Keep up the good work.

My brother goes there quite often for a beer and we get takeaway pizzas that are as good as any Italian restaurant. Pizza is very good quality, tasty and good value for money. Staff always polite and friendly. It's also a dog friendly pub.

My wife booked her afternoon tea birthday gift here and to say she was disappointed is an understatement. We arrived at 12pm no one else in the venue to wait for 40 minutes for the most over cooked afternoon tea and desserts that were still frozen in the middle. The afternoon tea was nothing like what she was expecting as you can see from the pictures. At no point did a member of staff come over to see if everything was ok, as most of the food was left so it was evident it wasn’t and at this point there was only ourselves and another table with two others on. One positive the cocktails didn’t disappoint.

We had such a great time at the cocktail making class! Stan was absolutely fabulous, fun, engaging, and a real pro behind the bar. He guided us through making some delicious cocktails (far too many to drink… but of course, we gave it a good try!). The whole atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and full of laughs. Definitely a brilliant experience and one I’d highly recommend.

Incredible atmosphere. Came for my 20th birthday and Stan made it an unforgettable experience. Food was incredible. Service was incredible Stan gave us great attention from arrival until the end. Value is bang on, well worth the money. Would definitely come again, will be asking for Stan if he’s working! Amazing brunch at revolution bars in Bristol Had a welcome drink, food lovely and service very quick. Always came to check if we wanted another drink. Would recommend

We stopped in for late lunch as location was convinient and menu looked decent. Place was mostly empty except for a table of 4 next to the dj and people in a few booths. The music was ear splittingly loud at 2pm. DJ at one point went off on a rant over the mic about people at the table next to him shouting requests at him and shoving phones in his face. Maybe they wouldnt need to if you lower the volume?? That table left shortly after this. We were told fish and steak were off the menu today so ordered the OG burger and chicken wrap which were nice. Service was friendly and fine. The food and service was fine and dj very entertaining but probably not in the way he intended. Probably wont return unless we lose our hearing.

I had a really unpleasant experience here on 01/11/25. I politely asked the DJ for a song and showed him the name on my phone because it was loud, but he reacted aggressively and spoke to me in a very intimidating way. I felt uncomfortable and ended up leaving. It’s disappointing, as I’ve always liked this venue, but after that experience, I don’t feel safe returning.

I had been thiking of visiting this restaurant for a couple of years after I've heard a couple of good experiences. Unfortunately the food was a little on the dearer side but for great quality food I'd hoped it would be worth it. Unfortunately my next 14 hours was followed by what I can only describe as food poisoning as confirmed by the paramedic that visit the next day. This is my first ever experience of food poisoning and seafood has never ever left me feeling powerless and physically ill for the entirety of the next day. My partner did suggest the muscles didn't seem right but not wanting to waste the experience i put my trust in the chef. The service was good but not nearly enough to look past the horrible situation it left me in.

What an amazing find, great food great service great atmosphere, really hard to find great family business like this. If you want great traditional food then this is definitely the place to go in Bristol, if your in a rush go to mc Donald's this is not for you. Absolutely brilliant Italian restaurant in Bristol. My family visited for my father's 75th Birthday meal. They made us all feel very welcome and provided us all with so much care and service, especially for my father. The food was all delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Great location near the train station and to the city. Will definitely be back again next time we are visiting Bristol. Thank you very much for taking care of us all.

First time I'd dined at this restaurant. The menu was extensive, the food tasty and piping hot, dishes looked appetising and the desserts to die for! Service was excellent and professional. Andrew the amazing Chef /Owner friendly, helpful and charismatic. Found parking not a problem in nearby side street. I'll most certainly go back and even better...... gift vouchers are available!

What a gem ! We had the Ribeye and Fillet steak ! Wow , never tasted steak this good in a long time , amazing. If we lived locally we would visiting regularly. We didnt book so we were lucky to get a table as it's obviously very popular. Very friendly staff. 10/10

Really nice place to celebrate special occasions or just come for delicious meal. We went there to celebrate anniversary as we read and heard really good reviews about this place. And it was honestly one of the best Italian restaurants I have tried so far. The food portions was very generous and really delicious starter main and dessert was just out of this world. I had tuna steak and my BF had seafood pasta. We had meat platter for starter and for desert we had tiramisu (my favourite dessert). We also had bottle of white wine to go with our meal. Prices was a bit higher, but the it definitely was worth it, there is also service charge. But overall very pleasant experience with chilled and slightly romantic vibe.

I came here for tea and had such a lovely, relaxing experience. The weather was warm enough to sit out on the terrace, which is decorated with pretty fairy lights and offers a lovely view of the river and St Peter’s Church. For my starter, I had the prawns – they were really big, juicy, and clearly very fresh. For my main, I had the lobster ravioli. The pasta was generously filled with lobster, which was a pleasant surprise. I was absolutely stuffed by the end, but everything tasted so good. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I can’t wait to come back again.

Bella Vista is a charming and cozy restaurant with lovely decor that immediately makes you feel at home. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. The dishes we ordered were served promptly, which was a nice surprise. The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My fish, while very tasty, had a bit more oil than I would have preferred, but it was still delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily return to Bella Vista for another meal!

I spent ages trying to pick somewhere for lunch with my mum, and I’m so glad we went with Bella Vista. The food was incredible! It’s still such a treat to find a place with more than one veggie option, and the tiramisu was the perfect finish to a lovely meal.

This was my first visit at Bella Vista. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience, but I can't say I would re-visit. The staff couldn't be more helpful and work hard to deliver amazing service. However, the food quality falls behind. My biggest question mark was that no one has asked if we have allergies. Isn't that a quite important thing to miss? I mean, there are so many people with allergies & intolerances out there. I had prawns to start with, which were nice, but way too much oil on the plate(for my taste, at least). For the main course, I had a 10oz Ribeye steak, which was rather disappointing. Almost half the steak was covered in fat(the kind that you can't eat or chew). Fries were okay, but not fresh. The mushrooms are delicious, and the blue cheese sauce was very good. The tiramisu, however, was one of the best I have tried lately. The atmosphere was superb, though, and once again, the staff was amazing and worked hard, but I don't think I'd go again. Thank you!

Very friendly service, nice place. Special pasta was very good. However if you read the menu closely (I did not!) the "foccacia" is actually incredibly thin flat bread. Not what most people imagine and not very pleasant.

We were extremely lucky to hold our wedding reception at The Gloucester Old spot the beginning of May. Amy and her team were honestly the best, helping us with every aspect from start to finish, both professionally and super friendly! We had so many compliments from our guests on the food, it was all beautifully presented and tasted just as lovely. The venue really is gorgeous, and suited just what we were after. A casual but quirky affair, and not too far from the centre of Bristol. We would not hesitate to come back for any future events we may have. We look forward to coming back to try the famous roast dinners! Thanks so much to the team for making our day so special, it’s a day we’ll never forget.

We had our wedding here on the bank holiday weekend in May and I can honestly say from the moment we booked the marquee everything has been great. Amy was so great with us, always on hand via email to respond to any questions or queries and was so accommodating for us aswell. The big day came and I can’t fault them! They set up all the decorations just how I wanted it. The food was sooo yummy and our guests also said the same. It was the most relaxed beautiful day we could have ever hoped for. The staff were all amazing and the service was great. Nothing was too much. A wonderful atmosphere and we had the best day ever just gutted we can’t go back and do it again. Thank you all so much! You made our day so memorable xx

I celebrated my 80th birthday here. I love this pub and wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else but the event exceeded even my expectations. Marvellous food and service and a fantastic atmosphere. I would recommend it without reservation

The food was disappointing, especially the pork belly which was overcooked and too tough. The service was very friendly but food took over an hour to come even if the restaurant wasn’t’ very full. Overall a nice pub for an afternoon drink but food is disappointing for the price range.

We had our wedding party here and it was the BEST night! Amy and her team couldn't have done more to make sure that we could relax and celebrate, knowing that everything was taken care of! The food was delicious, a great menu to choose from and they catered for all of our various dietary requirements. Our guests kept telling me how much they enjoyed the food! I am a local and im afraid the standard has dropped, running out of lager or the morretti is flat and at £6.80 a pint isn't good. Also they hold alot of private functions and the pub isn't available for locals which is ridiculous as we are the bread and butter, I was spending £300/£400 a month but decided enough was enough and have decided to spend my hard earned somewhere that wants our business and charge a reasonable £5.20 a pint. And I know quite a lot of people feel the same way so good luck for the future you are going to need it.

The Lunch club is a very good deal. Any pint and any pizza or hotdog. I suggest to get the pizza, they are good size and ideal for a beer. 🍺

Love this bar, visited many times for their tasty pizzas. What I did not like or feel comfortable with at all was the current arrangement with the 'Unisex' cubicle toilets in such a confined space. I appreciate this is whilst they are having work done on the gents toilets. Let's hope the work is completed soon and the toilet arrangement can revert to normal again...

The atmosphere was lovely and I felt incredibly welcomed. My highlight of the night was most definitely the staff. They were so kind and accommodating and made me feel safe to be there. The music was exceptional and the vibes were insane

Excellent bar regular drinks my favourite is punk ipa they also have guest beers at my last visit there where 8. Good location next to the historic Bristol Bridge and castle park. Very friendly and knowledgable staff I would highly recommend a visit.

Had a Sunday roast here. Service was very poor, had to keep asking for waitress to come and take orders at table. Food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. I had roast beef and chicken. The chicken was a £6 addition and it was an overcooked chicken leg! Cauliflower cheese was watery. Roast potatoes were not roasted fully. Shame as pub is nice.

Lovely Sunday lunch, first time with the new ownership. Landlord Liam is welcoming and generous and the team were all friendly. Kids are welcome which is always nice for parents!

We came here for Sunday lunch and it was spot on! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and they really cater well for families. Our 2 year old loved the book corner with paper and crayons, which kept her happily entertained throughout the meal. She polished off her roast too, always a good sign 😂. The garden and outdoor space at the back are also lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Now under new management, this place is incredibly dog-friendly, with photos of their regular furry visitors proudly displayed on the wall. The owner goes out of their way to make both dogs and owners feel welcome. The food is fantastic—especially the burger, which is easily one of the best around. Prices are very reasonable too.

Had a lovely roast here with my parents last week. The beef was amazing, perfectly cooked & tender, veg was all really tasty. My mum had the vegetarian option, that looked delicious too. Lots of drinks options, including cocktails & alcohol free beer. Will definitely be back to try more of the food & cocktails.

Booked for a family celebration of 13 people. Super welcoming - just so helpful from the moment I popped in for a chat and to book. Great vibe. Honestly, the owner, the staff and the service were all fantastic! We felt very looked after. Food and drinks were spot on! We will be back!

I tried their gluten free pizza after being recommended it by so many people. I have tried many of the gf pizzas available in Bristol and was really excited for this one after hearing such good things! I hope management will take my feedback in a positive manner and my suggestions on board perhaps. :) Firstly, the pizza came really fast. I ordered via a delivery app and it was with me in 15 minutes. So this aspect was great. Secondly their dough is delicious. Really tasty. They have got their recipe just right. The crusts were absolutely amazing and probably joint top with the best GF pizza crusts I’ve tried! However, the rest of the pizza (where the toppings are) was far too thick. Like double the thickness it should be, and it was not cooked properly. It was stodgy, thick and weighed a tonne in the box and in my stomach. I ate maybe two slices and then threw the rest of the pizza away, except for the crusts which I ate (they nailed this part). For a £20 pizza, this was quite upsetting. I am not someone who throws away food or wastes money if I can possibly help it. There was also way too much cheese, in my opinion. This added to the overall stodgy and heavy feeling of the pizza. It was more like a New York style, deep pan pizza and quite greasy too. Albeit I did order one with nduja so this was probably the reason for the greasiness. Again, I threw most of the greasy parts away as they were dripping with oil and I found that quite off putting. If I had known it would be a deep pan style pizza I would not have ordered since I don’t enjoy eating this much food in one go. I don’t feel good after and plus this base was so thick that it was very gummy, almost like it was raw dough. I think that most GF diners are on the more health conscious side of things. And are probably(??) hoping for a thin and crispier pizza, more like a regular pizza that is made with a wholewheat base. I’d like to suggest to management with full respect and appreciation of the craft that has gone into creating their delicious gluten free dough (I know it’s not easy), that they work to make the main base of the GF pizza much thinner. I think this would be more appealing to most customers and certainly to me. I wouldn’t try the gluten free pizza here again as it stands now but also, I know maybe my experience was a one off. And I stand by what I said about the crusts being the best I’ve tried! Joint with one GF pizza chain I tried in Madrid. I hope management take my comments with the respect with which I write them ❤️🙏🏼

La Campagnuola never disappoints! The food is always consistent, fresh, and cooked with care. Portions are generous, and everything feels hearty and satisfying. Their pizzas and calzone are outstanding! In a city full of pizza spots, they stand out. The quality of the ingredients 10/10, no generic meatballs, tomato sauce etc its all SO authentic. One of my absolute favourites is the rustica salad the creamy goat’s cheese and crunchy, well-seasoned artichoke. I have to give a special shout out to their chips (patate fritte) golden, chunky, crispy, they’re hands-down the best youll find. Don’t sleep on this place it’s a true gem and absolutely worth a visit. You won't regret it! This is not a paid advert. Seriously decent Italian food for an incredibly reasonable price considering the quality 👍

We have been here several times recently and the food is so good! Everything we have had on the menu from Aracini balls to pizza has been 10/10. You can tell they have been around a while and perfected their menu. 100% reccomend.

Portions resembles the name of the restaurant. Taste was good but portions are way too small! I ordered a pasta with lobster. There was only one small piece of lobster in the pasta! Asked the waiter if this is my order or someone else’s. Guess what it was my order and yes there is only a small piece of lobster in a 180gr of pasta! Price was 22 pounds!

I didn’t book in advance, they greeted me and welcomed me in regardless. I chose the scallops as my appetizer, it was very good however some were overcooked, I would like to see my scallops cooked with good crust and perfectly cooked in the middle. As for my main I chose the duck, it was perfect, delicious seasoning and a perfect crispy skin, with the meat being moist and tender. For my drink, I tried the spicy mango recommended by the server, and it was a 10/10 drink.

Cannot thank the guys at Piccolino enough for being our saviours today. My bike broke down just up the road and the Manager came out to give us some water and we ended up staying in their restaurant for 6hrs while awaiting recovery and the guys could not do enough to help and even gave is a free pizza and coffee while we waited! Thank you Piccolios! Cannot recommend enough, gorgeous food and amazing service! We'll be back to show our gratitude 🙏🏻

Staff are friendly and food taste nice but its a bit overpriced for what you're getting. You're better off going to a local Italian restaurant that is family owned. But if you want somewhere fancier, then be my guest, go here but there are better fancy Italian places in Bristol like San Carlo. It's probably just a tourist trap as its convenient its in Cabot Circus.

The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour and exactly as I had hoped. Thank you for such a lovely night and for making the experience truly memorable. After Graduation this week, I recently visited the King Street Brewery in Bristol. While the location is undeniably lovely, we left feeling that it didn't quite live up to its own hype. Situated near the river, the brewery boasts a charming setting that is perfect for a relaxing drink in an historic street. The ambiance is pleasant, and on a sunny day, it's an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. However, when it comes to the beer and overall experience, the King Street Brewery falls a bit short. The selection of beers is decent, but it lacks the standout options that would make it a go-to destination for craft beer enthusiasts. The flavors were okay, but nothing particularly memorable or distinctive. In terms of atmosphere, the place is nice enough, but it doesn't have the vibrant energy or unique character that some of the other establishments on the street offer. It feels more like a standard pub rather than a standout brewery. The service was adequate, but nothing exceptional. The staff were friendly enough, but there wasn't the same level of engagement or enthusiasm that can make a visit truly special. The pub across the street was truly unique, mind you. While the King Street Brewery is a pleasant place to stop by, it doesn't quite reach the heights of some of its neighboring establishments. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit for the location alone, but if you're looking for the best beer experience on King Street, you might want to explore a few other options. In summary, the King Street Brewery has a lot going for it with its picturesque location near the river, but it doesn't quite stand out among the many great options in the area. It's a good spot for a not so cheap drink, but not the best on the street.

King street Brew House is one of my absolute favourite pubs! The staff are wonderful and super quick and caring about their job and customers. Beer selection is incredibly wide and their gluten free beers are the best in town. Food is also wonderful. Online ordering is quick and easy, also came through super quick! So no worries if you’re wanting to order on the app as it’ll come just as fast as being as being at the bar… which is super fast. Can’t wait to return!

I visited this establishment recently as I heard they have just released a Normal Beer Lager. I have a very rare and secretive dietary requirement and I am only able to drink normal beer. For too long now, I have remained in the shadows unable to drink unnormal beer but now thanks to KSBH I can be normal like my peers and enjoy a Normal Beer. Crisp and delicious and at 3.4% it is the ideal session lager without the negative repercussions an unnormal beer would give me. If you're wondering what my rare dietary requirement is maybe mind your own business, yeah?

Tried Eat the Bird who are running the kitchen here for the first time having been to their restaurant down in Exeter before. Really nice chicken with good portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love this place, the staff are so friendly. It’s great that the brew their own beer and have gluten free options as well as alcohol free options. The food is incredible, tasty, indulgent and damn right dirtayyyy. 100% come here if you’re in Bristol for sure. Harry was my favourite.

We recently went to OMA for a roast dinner to celebrate bday. The staff was super friendly with great vibes. The food arrived quickly and overall score for food around the table was 4 our of 7. We had a Sunday Roast and everyone knows that roast potatoes are one of the most important things in in the roast. Unfortunately those were not the best, they were not crispy and they tasted like they were cooked the day before or at least couple of hours earlier and left in the water. Pork belly was also in the menu described that it will have crispy skin, but that was not a case. The portion was good to the price tho.

Really cool venue and the staff were lovely but pizzas weren’t as I’d prefer (thin and crispier than I like my sourdough) and thought the child’s pasta was very poor in terms of cost/size/value. £7.50 for a pretty tiny portion of what appears to be penne and shop bought tomato sauce. I will give kudos for being given cheese when I asked it for it at no extra cost though. There are independent venues in Bristol with better kids meals for sure. It’s just a huge shame as after visiting the wardrobe theatre this is the ideal place to stop. Would happily come back for a drink though (great roof terrace) and to try small plates.

We enjoyed a delicious Christmas menu roast here in December, the beef brisket in particular was amazing. Loved the idea of sharing starters and desserts, all cooked really well and great flavour combinations. Had been wanting to try for ages and it lived up to expectations! Very good service and a cool interior too. Highly recommend!

Nice pub and bistro on the end of the promade. Great selection of drinks and quite a large place with both indoor and outdoor seating facilities. Great place to chill over a few beers.

A very popular place right opposite castle park, at the centre of bristol city. With a large outside seating space and a full three storey inside seating, it is one of the largest pubs in the area. It has great pizza and side options, and is unique in the fact that all the food they serve is vegetarian but absolutely lovely. A unique selling point is that it is a brewery, and you can see some of the processes. As such it has a changing variety of very diverse beers, ciders and ales. The third floor also has a games area and has a young vibe. Altogether a very busy and vibrant place specially on the weekends.

Fantastic brewpub in a stunning location right by the water. Pizza menu looked great although didn't try one. Huge selection of beers, good music, buzzing atmosphere and was busy with seats inside and outside. Came here from cheltenham following a recommendation and will be back for sure, apparently the beers get changed every few weeks and next time I'll have the pizza too

I come to Bristol regularly on my own and I’ve been meaning to come for a decent beer for ages. My pint was delicious and very much needed on a Monday evening. Also as a lone female I felt comfortable and happy to have a couple before supper. I will definitely come back with my keg loving husband one day. 🍻

This was a cute place. The service was ok, but could have been a bit better. Felt like we were waiting a rather long time but also there wasn't many people working. There also wasn't a lot of the things that we wanted to try on the menu but again not the fault of the staff. We had a good time there though, fresh pizzas and it was all VEGAN! The Mac and cheese wasn't my favourite but I could see why other people like it! I would probably go again but had a red pizza this time!

We LOVE this place so much we travel 1hr45m to eat here. It has the best Pizza hands down! We tried the Salad this time and it was amazing. I always get the chocolate pizza for dessert and it's a winner every time 💕

Possibily the best vegan pizza in Bristol! Tried a few different ones from the menu now but my fave is just a customised cheese pizza with a few random extras. Also the calzone was beautiful! The dough balls are insane and Harrisa corn is really nice but not tried much else. The chocolate pizza was good but had some really strong chocolate kind of bits on top which I personally didn't really like.

We came in for dinner. We made a reservation for a table of five. Staff was super nice and friendly. The food is simply delicious! We started with the Mac and cheese and Cesar salad and then had three pizzas to share. That was plenty of food with some left overs to take home. What an amazing vegan restaurant. I wish there was a place like this near where I live. Definitely check this place out.

Our first experience with vegan pizza and we're weren't disappointed - crusts alone were amazing (ours was whole grain but there were hemp and gluten-free options). Bright, airy space and uber-friendly staff who made sure to explain the menu to us newbies. Great option if you're looking for a healthier, planet-friendly alternative.

Really great pizza night despite lockdown law difficulties. This place is very popular, so we could only get a table on short notice for 9pm, but it was well worth the visit and I would recommend everyone, vegan or not, try this place. It was an extremely busy night and because of the 10pm shut law, previous customers were staying later to drink, backing up the reservation waits. Staff pulled it through by being extremely efficient, friendly and tactful drink comping. 10/10 for their hard work, I hope the managers recognise their staff's abilities. The next thing to rave about is the food. It was delicious, and being a vegan restaurant, there's clearly a lot of effort in designing their menu and not just adding a few poorly thought out vegan options. The two we had (nduja and friarielli) were delicious, and I'd like to update when I've tried all of them. The brown rice cheese they make is very good, creamy, subtle and works very well as a mozzarella. The unlimited free mayo was delicious and I'd definitely recommend the basil. They have a particularly good Sicilian wine called Nero d'Avola, which isn't that widely available in the UK but is delicious and pairs really well with pizza. On the whole the place was a little expensive, but you're paying for quality and they seem to be liberal with frequent percentage deals off your bill, so it definitely makes up for it. The portions were also quite generous. It's also a bit noisy with both customers and music, but it was very busy and people were clearly wanting to stay and drink, so that was quite expected. The cocktails are very well made, and there's honestly difficulty in choosing between cocktail, lovely wine, intriguing starters, delicious pizzas and tempting desserts. It's clearly a place that demands a return trip.

Came here for my graduation and messed up my booking (All my fault) but they were super accommodating. It was my third time here and the food is alway top notch. Shame I have graduated as now I won’t be able to go as often.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing amazing time celebrating our anniversary at Sonny Stores. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was unreal. My boyfriend loved his pizza, and my pasta was perfect. The starter bread was also delicious! We dine out in London a lot and came to Bristol for the weekend, but we left wishing we lived in Bristol so we could eat here more often :)

We had a really delicious meal at Sonny Stores this past weekend. The service was phenomenal- you really couldn’t ask for more. We had loads of questions and our kind waitress talked us through the whole menu and was clearly very passionate about the dishes on offer. The pizzetta was tasty and I appreciated how happy the staff were to make an adjustment to make it vegetarian. The castelfranco salad was divine. My friends loved their ossobuco and thought it was worth every penny. My ravioli was tasty too, as was the focaccia. There were many stars to this meal. My two wishes would be for a slightly nicer interior - the plastic chairs don’t seem to chime with the fine dining menu that this restaurant offers. We were also let down with the tiramisu, which seemed to have split and just didn’t taste great. But I’m putting that down to an off batch as I know how great it looks on other reviews. After tip we paid £150 in total for 3 people, including a bottle of wine. This felt fair enough.

One word for you: BRUNCH! We went a couple of weeks ago, or whenever they started to serve brunch. And what a great idea that was! We ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Everything was so, so tasty, all washed down with a good French press cafetière. The menu is small, but OMG, it is so well done and good. Every single dish was memorable. From the simple but not too sweet cinnamon roll served with butter and caramel sauce, to the Billingsgate bun, Are you ready?: Scallops, black pudding, bacon, egg, and plenty of magic and love 🤯🤯🤯. It is so hard to find a good spot for quality brunch, whether in Bristol, London, or any city. It is normally overrated, overpriced, and the same menu everywhere. But at Sonny’s Stores, that is not the case. You see their Italian and Mediterranean influence, but you also see quality and passion for great food and good quality products. Anyway, go and try it soon. You are welcome! P.s. they have a beautiful private room upstairs where they can fit around 14 people for a nice private celebration (if you have that many Friends)

Lovely neighbourhood joint. Impeccable food and cool decor inside. The pizza is awesome and the flavours of the cod exquisite. Also loved the tiramisu.

The experience at Sonny Stores has been exceptional every time we have come for dinner. My husband and I are both vegetarian, there are always plenty of options so we don’t end up eating the same dishes - we never leave hungry! The service is friendly and professional - we are lucky to have this neighbourhood within walking distance of home, which makes for a very convenient evening out.

Popped in for a vegan pie from Pie baby, just happened to be their Ale seitan event which was a roast dinner with pie and a dessert for £16. The food was absolutely lush. Cannot wait to go back here as the normal menu looks amazing too.

50 minutes into our 1 hour session a short bald security guard started stacking our pints and demanded we leave. He became aggressive after we questioned this. The bar manager was very well mannered and managed the situation well. The security pushed one of our party and then a girl not associated with us into our crowd. At that point one of us pushed him back as he seemed as an aggressive male bullying a girl. The manager then asked us to leave after promising free drinks die to the misunderstanding due to the fact we had an altercation with the security. We totally understood this and left accordingly but are hugely dissaponted how their hot headed security handled this situation. Won't be back and ringing in the morning to complain

A unique bowling alley, though slightly shorter than usual, much like their security guard. An old balding man who could’ve doubled as a great bowling ball, and honestly, if I’d rolled him down the lane, my score might have been better. Very rude and disorganised, even pushing women around us (which is completely unacceptable), and snapping at the very reasonable manager in the red top. Nice place overall, but I wouldn’t return based on the so-called “security”… or someone’s dad who seems to have been left behind.

Full disclosure they let us stay an extra 20min, BUT we booked the karaoke room for around 4 hours, when it was empty (because the place is dead). We spent a fortune on drinks, to be fair they aren’t terrible priced, but still we spent like £300. We asked to play one last song (unmberella - Tom Holland version 🥵) and they came in and turned it off mid song, and kicked us to the kerb. Just be aware they will try to ruin a great night 😔

Went there for a gig (stage is upstairs) good small venue. Pint and a pizza £15 if you at a ticketed event and have a ticket. As a bonus it was a very nice pizza. Highly recomended if you like smallish intimate gigs

Very tasty food and reasonable prices. Only losing one star as service was quite slow. Be mindful that on match/ event days at Ashton Gate stadium it can be very busy at times. Roast dinner was delicious with excellent crackling on the pork and optional extra Yorkshire was wonderful. Gravy and apple sauce very tasty too. Sticky toffee pudding was very good, could have done with slightly more ice cream with it though.

We recently held our Beyond the Bean Staff Summer Party at The Hen and Chicken, and it was one of the easiest and most enjoyable events we’ve ever organised. From start to finish, the team made everything simple – professional, organised, and nothing was ever too much trouble. On the night, Grace and her team looked after us brilliantly. Their service went above and beyond and made the evening feel extra special. The courtyard was a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine before moving inside for dancing later on. The pizzas and nibbles were also a big hit (top tip: listen to their advice on how many pizzas to order – we definitely ordered too many!). All in all, a fantastic venue with excellent staff – we’ll definitely be booking again.

Just ate Sunday 07/09 lovely roast pork, warm and attentive staff, consider extra gravy if you like it swimming like me. Recommend the peach jubel lager at the bar. It's quieter today so appreciate your experience may differ based on footfall but would expect that to be considered on any write up.

We went for the Sunday roast. I'll start with the good things - excellent service, a great roomy interior with lots of natural light, pleasant neutral decor, background music not too loud. Delicious coffee and chocolate mousse pudding. Sadly, the mains weren't great. The chicken schnitzel was supposed to be served with fries but wasn't, and we had to ask for them (we did get them, and they were fine). The schnitzel and salad were very nice, and so was the roast beef, but the Yorkshire pudding's crust was burnt and the roasted potatoes were hard and dry. All in all, four stars.

I love this place. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming and happy to discuss alternatives when asked. I ventured upstairs to the Comedy Box to watch Lucy Porter in Be Prepared. What a fun evening. Steve and his team put on great shows and run a smooth venue.

The best roast i have had in ages. Kind staff, some locally made cider plus art. If I was going to take points it would be because the garden isn't huge.. but I don't smoke.

We had 2 pork & 1 beef roast with a side of blue cheese leek gratin. Generous portions, great array of veg - all very tasty, an all round corker of a roast. Would highly recommend!

We came here on a first table booking. Food was good. Freya was our waitress and she was very helpful and welcoming, we would definitely come back.

Pleasant pub, good food, and it was great to see that they serve non alcoholic gin. More pubs should lean into the wide array of interesting non alcoholic drinks! Edit: since I enjoyed my first visit I thought I'd return for a Sunday roast. The food was excellent, service efficient and friendly but the venue itself was rather full of children and babies which made it somewhat difficult to enjoy. So if you're not keen on kids in pubs this isn't the Sunday roast you're looking for!

Awesome community pub that has loads going in. Food is top notch and their Tuesday night folk sessions are the best!

Really nice pub but tried the pizza for the first time and the tomato sauce was really sweet?? Don’t know if this was an accident but it was a shame because the toppings were delicious but ruined by the sauce :(

I like this pub but I wouldn't go there for a roast again, the pizzas are much better that are served in the evening. Great drinks selection and kid friendly

Wow what can I say, we had the most amazing Sunday roast. Huge portions, fantastic value and most importantly, everything was utterly delicious. The new owners have done an incredible job on the pub, it’s so cosy and the beer garden has to be one of the nicest in Bristol. Great food, great pints and great people. Can’t wait to come back!

Such a vibrant and beautiful place with one of the best pub gardens. The drinks were delicious and affordable such as the elderflower cider slushie and lime soda which cost £4 altogether. Would definitely recommend. There are also long tables out in the garden which makes is great for larger groups too.

Great atmosphere in a traditional pub! Love the decor, the staff are super friendly and the roast was delicious. The belly pork just melted in your mouth. A great selection of different vegetables. With cauliflower & broccoli cheese and a large extra jug of gravy coming as standard. High recommend 👌🏻👏🏻

Probably one of the worst meals I’ve had — the sausages were honestly close to dog food in both texture and flavour. The chips were super dry, almost like eating sand. The blood orange IPA was a pleasant surprise, and the garden is a lovely spot to chill. Come for the drinks and the atmosphere, but I’d seriously skip the food.

A mountain of deliciousness, the pictures don’t do the food justice. Huge portions of perfectly cooked veg and meat , one of the best roasts i have ever had , think of christmas dinner and go large and you might just get close. Amazing value for money , i won’t be going anywhere else for my Sunday lunch when in Bristol, staff really friendly and food and drink prices are really good

Very friendly staff, good food, loved their lemonade, even their bathroom looks like a maze but very well maintained and clean. What a great place to hang out with friends and play dart 🎯 Loved it.

Flight Club is such a great group outing - great cocktails and sharing plates as well. We ordered two HUGE pizzas and their new summer ‘in bloom’ cocktails are super juicy, refreshing and pretty 😍 I loved the Just Peachy and, surprisingly, as I don’t reallly like aperol, I enjoyed the Amalfi Nights. Booked an hour slot for my wife and I, we pre booked food, margarita pizza plus cheese and bacon loaded fries, both were tasty and well presented, good selection of drinks, the service was prompt. Neither of us are dart players but we both thoroughly enjoyed playing the different game modes.

A fantastic evening. I haven't played darts for years, but the gamification meant that it was varied and interesting, as well as allowing those with a lower skill level to have fun too. The staff were great, venue nice and novel and the selection of drinks was good.

One of the best pizza places ever — and definitely my favourite! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always such a lovely experience. The food and drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the people who work here are truly lovely — always friendly, polite, and hardworking. The pizza is super fresh and incredibly tasty, and yes, of course it takes about 15–20 minutes — because they make it fresh, just for you. Totally worth the wait every single time. Last time I visited, I saw someone being very rude to the staff because she didn’t want to wait 15 minutes for her pizza. Honestly, I felt so sorry for them. The team handled it with so much patience and kindness — even though they were not at fault at all. You really can’t please everyone, but this team does their best every time. I’ll be back every Monday for the amazing Monday deal — delicious pizza at a great price. It’s honestly a gem of a place and I hope more nice people continue to support them. Hospitality is hard work, and they deserve kindness and respect. Thank you for the great food and lovely service — keep going, you’re doing an amazing job!

Service was really great and I wish the rest didn’t take away from that. However, although the pizzas were good, the pastas were appalling. One had no seasoning or spices at all and simple tasted like uncooked chopped tomatoes, it didn’t have one of the two meats it was supposed to have, and worst of all, towards the end, we found two little bones in it (presumably from the chicken). The drinks selection is good if you want something different, poor if you want a classic and so it doesn’t make the best place for large groups when you need to account for multiple types of people. The atmosphere was okay but it was very quiet during what we would expect to be a very busy time. Overall, if you want to try a fancy drink or fruity IPA and have some of their Nibbles & Sides, it’s probably a good place to go (minus it being quiet) but we will not be returning for a proper evening meal with a large group. Again, servers were lovely though!!

Had dinner with friends here. Tried the chicken wings, mussels and dough balls. The mussels were average, the temperature wasn’t hot enough. The best were the chicken wings which were really tasty. The deserts were too sweet. It had a good atmosphere

Found this place by accident last year, and loved it so much we brought friends back this last weekend. Great place, with a gorgeous terrace. Beers are really lovely, plenty of choice and a good price. This time we ate here, pizza and dough balls. Again, a good price, freshly made and so tasty!

Great place to meet with friends, have a bite to eat and drink. Good location and atmosphere. I have been there a few times, last time with bunch of colleagues. I had a vegetarian pizza and really liked it.

Nice restaurant with decent food and beer. Enjoyed meal outside in sun. Went for interesting Jamaican chicken topping which was tasty but pizza somewhat soggy in centre. Mrs' BBQ chicken salad was very tasty. Was a lunch time deal but wasn't advertised. Would go again!

My husband had an appointment at the hospital so we thought we’d nip in for food after to cheer him up it was lovely. Great beers, really nice pizza and pasta. The balcony in the sun was lovely and chilled. Nice staff on today. Cheerful and happy. Yeah we loved it. Thanks for cheering my boy up today! Aldi v v reasonable
