My son is severely allergic to nuts, and the owner greeted us in the door by explaining the measurements they take to accomodate this. They are attentive and caring and provide amazing service, even in specific circumstances like this. We were there for my daughters birthday - she turned seven - and we always enjoy taking our kids here. They make sure that there is room for everyone - young adults on a date, groups of friends, or families with kids. The athmosphere is calm and cozy. The food is of course amazing. Authentic italian pizzas - great selection to choose from, you can't go wrong. When we left, the chef invited my son and husband into the kitchen where my son made his very own pizza. This was a very great experience for him - as a three year old. All in all, this is the place we always go to, because of the amazing service, the cosy athmosphere and the great food.

We were a group of 7 people and we had an excellent experience. The cafe is very cosy and in a very nice area of Aarhus. As it doesn't have too many tables, I recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff was very polite, fast and took great care of us. Each of our orders were prepared quite quickly, and the pizza was delicious. I went for Vegetale, and it was delicious! Prices are very reasonable for Aarhus and Denmark. The only thing I think can be improved is the wine selection.

Not the most exciting pizza to be honest. I feel it could have been much better. Don’t know if it was the quantity of the ingredients or the dough that could probably have used 2 or 3 more minutes in the fire oven, but something can be improved for sure.

There is a lot of take away traffic and its a small place so it might be hard to get a table. The restaurant has a selection of nature wines and the staff member was enthusiastic about the place and seemed busy and in a good mood. Privately I "do" 72h sourdough pizza in a P134h with hand selected indredients. I am very confused about the rating for this store. First of all, the pizza is just regular, please do be fool by the web site fancy picture or the nicer wording. The pizza dough taste more like a bread dough. Secondly, the service is not very nice. This is the first restaurant that told me they don't have water, customer only could purchase the fancy water. Melværk offers fantastic Neapolitan-style pizzas, boasting an airy, charred crust and top-quality ingredients. However, it comes with a significantly higher price tag compared to many other excellent pizzerias in Aarhus, without offering anything particularly unique to justify the cost.

The Pizza Margarita, Tiramisu and Spritz were great which is the most important part for the establishment like this. Also the restaurant does not have champignons or prosciutto cotto, so that's a bit disappointing for the place which serves Italian cousine. Almost all of the pizzas are not traditional, except of the Margarita, off course. The service was a bit slow, the waitress was not attentive enough. Missed my call several times. The interior is nice, classic Scandinavian, but nothing to do with Italy or the food which they provide. The views from the window are not great - cars and parking lot. Other than that why do you call pizzas by some "funny" names? Is it 2005 still? 😅 I thought that this has been out of the fashion already.

From start to finish our experience was superb. Friendly staff, amazing food and nice atmosphere. I’ve been recommending this place to loads of people and a common reaction when I show them the pictures is; why is there so much dough and not a lot of toppings. Well that’s the whole point somehow. The dough is so delicious that it actually compliments the topping instead of just being a base. We had a lovely time and will be back for sure. We went for dinner with my partner and we loved it. The place is great, very cosy, quiet and taking care of every detail. The service was excellent! We were served by a very nice young girl. She was always checking if everything was ok and if anything was missing. The food was delicious! The restaurant makes the difference by having different pizzas, out of the ordinary ones that you can find anywhere. We highly recommend it to everyone, we will come back often, we loved it!

Great napolitan pizzas, its true that they don't have a lot of options but the pizza itself is very good and they have interesting options. We have went there multiple times and it didn't dissapoint. They are usually quite full so if you want to go and eat there I would recommend going with time or to reserve.

I was a bit skeptical when I saw how expensive a pizza was but I was really really surprised by how good the food was. All three of us were super happy with our choices. Plus nice cocktails!

Pizza was good, but the place was very busy. We had to wait over 40 min. for pizza, even after our drinks were delivered. I would say an hour in total. I do not think I will go there again, but might be a good option for a takeaway.

Good beer, decent pizza. This place just opened up, and as one of the few pizza restraunts in Aarhus offering gluten free pizzas (my wife is celiac), we were excited to try it. The pizza is OK but not great. The best pizza in town is still definitely la piccolina, and since the cost the same it's hard not to compare. The crust (both regular and gluten free) was tough and chewy, and by the end of the meal my jaw was a little tired. The ingredients and sauce where also OK, but not amazing. Overall if you put this pizza in a take-away box and told me it was from a nearby kebab place I'd probably believe you. It doesn't taste like premium pizza, but it is as expensive. Not a bad pizza by any means, just not great and a bit cheap tasting. On the upside, the place is cute, very central, and has a great selection of craft beers (mostly from Brooklyn Brewery). Increase the quality of the pizza and this would be a five star for sure. For now, La Piccolina is still by far the best pizza in town.

The Pizzas are very tasty and the prices are fair. The entrees and the drinks aren't quite as good value (10€ canned beer and 12€ for the cheapest glass of Rosé Wine). But definitely go for the Pizzas and the service is also great !

Nice pizza! Quite tasty and good variety of options with not-too-exotic pizzas! Ingredients are good, they had spicy salami ventricina which is not very common (usually they put pepperoni salami … like dominos) so that’s a plus! Also the staff was kind and smiling which was pleasant! Prices are probably bit high compared to average but it’s also a quite central location of Aarhus so it’s okay! The toilets downstairs are very good, they smell well and are clean and good looking. Overall the atmosphere is cosy and informal!

We had booked a table for 8 people by phone. When we showed up we were told that even though they had our reservation in their calendar, there was no table for us. There was a table for 8 people empty but we were not allowed to sit there. Lovely pizzas at this newly opened Aarhus pizza place. You can taste the I ingredients are of great quality. Awesome online ordering systems, works effortlessly. Can see other reviews complaining pizzas where not ready on time, ours was... However, they were a little under baked / chewy, so no chrisp crust, not ideal. Toppings really tasted nice though, except for the pickled artichoke, expected fresh? 3 stars and one extra, as the place is new, ambitious, and offers authentic Italien toppings, especially pikant salami and salsiccia I can recommend, they taste just right. Sure they will fix little inconsistencies, all start ups has them 💪

Gusto is a great place to grab a more luxurious pizza and antipasta. They have a limited selection of dishes and drinks, that can be altered, if there are any special dietary requirements. The dishes are of great quality ingredients and get switched around every now and then. The pizzas can also be ordered as takeaway. I’d recommend booking in advance, as the place is popular, even during the day, and doesn’t have a lot of seating. They also have a clever option when booking a table; standard or quick (1,5 hour). The quick booking is especially good if you’re going out to see a movie or do an activity afterwards. This lets the kitchen know, you’re limited on time and will therefore try their best to dish out the food ASAP.

Gusto as being known through the Arhusian Pizza Boys is a place for Pizza! We had a truffel Pizza with Portobello mushrooms and truffel oil and the seasonal Pizza with zucchini, burrata, lemon zest and pistachios (vegetarian style). Both were amazing. The pistachios were a bit soft. They should have been fried in a pan without oil for making them crispy, that would have been great and added a nice crunchy feeling to the pizza. Instead of truffel oil, fresh summer truffel should have been used. The dough was great and really tasty on the seasonal Pizza, whereas the truffel oil on the other pizza made it impossible to taste the dough. Simple dough, I guess withou wholegrain wheat, great colour after baking. All in all a nice place with a solid pizza quality. 4 out of 5 stars. The final touch on the pizzas and a bit more taste in the dough would have added the 5th star.

We went for the first time and it was not a great experience as we expected for the prices. The 3 course menu was fine, but nothing amazing. We had to wait more that half an hour between meals and ask for the desert twice. Waitress were fine, they explained us all menus. Really didn't make much sense for the price we paid.
