Friend recommended this place. Travel around the world to test different coffee. This could be one of the best flavor I tested so far. The staff are all very friendly. And better yet, the restroom does not require PIN number to use. That’s huge kindness for customers when compared with other coffee shop in California area… another Coava nearby have coffee bean roast factory with window to see is also great to observe how they handle those bean in professional way :)

Coava Coffee has such a cool vibe! The space is huge with a warehouse-style setting, and there’s a sleek bar station tucked into one corner. A massive central table showcases an impressive selection of coffee beans—sometimes even seasonal varieties with unique and delicious flavors. I ordered a latte and my sister had a matcha; both were relatively good. One thing I loved (and wish I knew earlier!) is that if you buy a bag of coffee beans, they’ll give you a free brewed coffee to sample—perfect for trying beans from different regions. This is definitely something to take advantage of! If you’re in the area, I’d recommend stopping by. It’s also a fantastic spot for remote work, with plenty of seating and outlets along the walls.

I had heard so many good things about Coava Coffee so this was a must visit on our recent Portland trip. The three I had bookmarked were Coava Coffee, Keepers Coffee & Push X Pull (sadly didn't get to visit) The building is in an industrial looking area and you have that same vibe inside which is pretty cool. We ordered an iced lavender latte & a mocha. Both were very good though I don't know if I preferred it to Keeper Coffee (it's a tough one!). In any case I can see why this is such a popular spot and I will definitely be ordering some more coffee from them!

Loved the sheer space that this is...the authentic factory feel that gives you the perfect reeler for the authentically roasted coffee beans that waft through the works. Folks are quick and amazingly perfect in service. Would love to host an event here someday...this play would have the be perfect vibe for it.. plentiful parking in the lanes adjoining the place..

Coava might just serve the best coffee I’ve had in Portland. What really sets it apart is how smooth and balanced the coffee is—none of that bitterness or sour tang you sometimes get elsewhere. Just rich, clean, and robust flavor that’s easy to enjoy. We hit up several coffee spots during the week I was back in Portland, and this is the one I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to. It stood out in a big way. The pastries are legit too, but what really makes Coava memorable is the space itself. The industrial design, concrete floors, exposed machinery, and open layout give it a cool, architectural feel. It’s a space that feels intentional—like it was built for people who take their coffee seriously. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or sticking around for a bit, Coava nails it on all fronts. Some survey’s list Coava Coffee Roasters as being the best in Portland which says a lot being that Portland is one of the top coffee cities in the world l own for being a pioneer in the “3rd Wave Coffee Movement” that emphasizes high-quality beans, ethical sourcing (especially direct trade with farmers), meticulous roasting methods (often favoring lighter roasts to highlight bean origin), and expert brewing techniques like pour-overs. Portland has an abundance of independent small-batch coffee roasters. Many coffee shops roast their beans in-house, leading to incredibly fresh, unique and flavorful profiles and a strong focus on the craft of roasting. Coava Roasters is one of those coffee pioneers sourcing green coffee beans from all over the world- Honduras, Brazil, Ethiopia, Indonesia, etc. The space itself in SE Portland is unique- appears to have been a former warehouse converted to a coffee shop with a ton of space and lots of beautiful wood everywhere around you and yet maintains that original urban industrial feel to the space. I used to be annoyed that their largest sized mocha they served was 12 ounces(along with Heart Coffee) and that they refuse to make a larger sized mocha. What Portland barista snobbery hogwash I used to think, but there’s a reason for that as the barista explained that Coava wants to be “coffee-forward” and focusing on the quality of the flavor like a fine Scotch or a niche wine- you don’t want to drink the whole bottle by yourself, just savor the quality flavor and not drown it out with volume. After all, they’re not Starbucks! No Grande’s or Venti’s here! Coava is delicious and definitely in my top 3 choices for coffee in Portland!

I absolutely love Deadstock Coffee! The vibe here is super chill and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to grab a quality cup of coffee or get some work done. Their espresso is rich and smooth, and the baristas clearly know their craft. Plus, the space itself is stylish and cozy, with great attention to detail. When I went on a solo trip to Portland, all I did was try as many different coffee shops as I could find, this one was the best one. The service was great, and there was a delicious sweet cream on top. I still remember the coffee to this day, hoping to make a trip back to try it again.

If you haven’t been here yet you need to change that ASAP! Deadstock coffee is the best coffee shop in Portland, especially if you’re into shoes & sports. The coffee is delicious - I absolutely love the LeBronald Palmer and the Charged Up (if they have it available). Staff is very nice, helpful & knowledgable. Decor is always on point - they rotate with different artists so there is always something new (& dope) to see. There is some seating available if you want to chat with a friend or do some work. Overall it’s just a great place to chat about coffee, sneakers, sports or whatever else is on your mind! Highly recommend visiting Deadstock Coffee (more than once!)

As others have noted, this is a cool little coffee shop - tucked away and unassuming. There is no menu when you walk in. The vanilla latte was perfectly executed and is easily in the top 10 I've had across the country (and I've had a lot!)

My mocha and the service were fantastic including one of the staff members passing a patch my way. The experience as a whole was a little tainted when a large group of 8+ came in right after I ordered and basically took up all the space in the shop. If you’re claustrophobic keep this in mind, but if you’re not, it’s worth a stop. They know what they’re doing in there and they do it with a unique and welcoming attitude.

Being downtown on a Sunday morning always offers a different vibe. The freedom from parking worries allows me to explore more and relax before the hustle and bustle begins. I can comfortably sit and savor the taste of coffee. I usually buy Stumptown coffee beans during sales at Fred Meyer and stick to Single Origin for pour-over brewing. Additionally, I enjoy Groundwork's Ethiopia light roast, extracting it using an espresso machine. When visiting Portland, I exclusively drink Stumptown coffee, and this specific store is my go-to place, particularly on Sunday mornings. Street parking is free until 1 p.m. on Sundays, making it even more convenient. I definitely recommend this spot!

It’s our first coffee experience in Portland. I’ve loved Stumptown ever since I tried in NYC. Good coffee, and nice atmosphere. I wouldn’t say this store is my favorite one among all the branches, but the staffs were super kind. Was surprised to see a security at the front door- but it was reassuring to know that there’s one considering the fact that a lot of people telling me that the downtown Portland area is a bit dangerous. If you’re in town, Stumptown is definitely a must- whichever branch you go.

Randomly was looking for coffee and we found this! It does have a security person outside because the line gets long and to avoid over crowding. Which I appreciated. Line move swiftly. Had a vanilla latte and a specialty coffee drink. Clean and friendly service. Simple menu which is great if you truly enjoy good quality coffee. There is space to sit there and restrooms but is busy inside if you stay long.

We had an iced latte and I honestly didn’t like it. It had a weird aftertaste. I can’t explain it but it wasn’t a good taste. Atmosphere was cool though. Nice and chill vibe. They even had a security guard at the door. I’m assuming because of the homeless and druggies in the area. Don’t go wandering in the area.

I tried the caffè latte, and it was not really as strong as I hoped. I also tried the americano, it was better. They have a seasonal menu, which is basically espresso with sparkling water and orange bitters. However they use syrup with it, and since I’m cutting back on my sugar, I didn’t take it. Overall, a good and chill cafe for you to be in. Perfect for work, chat, book reading, or just spend your alone time. The servers are great. Very attentive and friendly.

We had such a wonderful experience at Sterling Coffee Roasters! Their espresso flight was a fun and unique way to explore different flavor profiles, and the staff made it even more special. They were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, walking us through the tasting notes of each espresso with a beautiful table-side presentation. As a generous surprise, they even gifted us a bag of coffee beans to take home! The upscale and beautifully designed space made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for any coffee lover looking for something special!

I love how cute this cafe is with its decor and interior look! Lots of plants and even a sky window to make the entire space well lit with natural lighting. I orderer rose latte and it was great. The cafe has few outlets, not a lot though. I particularly love the round table close to the window! One thing I would say about the cafe is that the wifi isn't the best... The wifi kinda cuts in and out and I ended up having to switch to my personal hubspots a few times... Other than this, the cafe is great and would definitely love to visit again with its good coffee, cute ambience, and friendly staff!

We were in the area and wanted something quick and cold. We saw the seasonal drink - Sundance - which had orange bitters and syrup with expresso and sparkling water and orange creame. The drink was interesting in a good way and was refreshing for the warm day

The coffee was excellent, and the service is friendly; the space is a good without it being too cozy or too cold. The pastry felt a bit old but I guess that’s aside.

A local coffee shop in West Seattle turned us onto Heart Stereo Blend 4 years ago. We ended up buying a Breville Barista Express and started buying the beans (solely these beans). Eventually we ended up signing up for a subscription, shared with a friend, for 4-pound per month. The coffee tasted great! About 8 months ago our machine's burr grinder started making an AWFUL grinding/gear skipping noise. It would not grind any beans. We cleaned out the hopper and tried again to no avail. In the end we had to send it out for a $300 repair (machine cost is $699). It came back working but still made this sound every so often. Eventually we were unable to grind a single bean again. We sent our machine back for another 2-weeks, luckily under warranty given the recent repair. Moral of the story is, Breville kept blaming Heart and we defended. They claimed the beans were over-roasted, etc. In then end we tested various brands they recommended and not a single issue. We tested crunching beans by hand, and alas, these Heart beans are ROCKS! $300 out on a repair and all along it was the beans. Mistakes happen, we get it. However, between this and the price increase we cancelled our subscription a month ago. We very kindly explained the story. No apology. No free beans. No refund for the last shipment we had to toss! Not even a "we're sorry to see you go". So I'm leaving this review because clearly this business has a lack of "heart". I'm very sorry we spent all this money on "premium beans". Use this review to learn that responses matter.

This place is 2nd heart coffee store in Pzortland. The address of 1st store of heart coffee is 923 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97214. Anyway, portland is famous of crafted beer and crafted coffee roaster. heart coffee is one of the best coffee roaster in portland. when I have a cup of morning coffee in store and watch outside people, I feel this is real morning, this is real coffee, this is real U.S america. So, I feel comfortable and happy. Their black and white logo is simple ans that is same their coffee. I can't say anything about coffee. because that's true. that is a just coffee. coffee is themselves. People who drink coffee at first must have this coffee. I love here, I like here, If I travel there again, I will go there. That is my mission. Thank you heart coffee, your coffee attacked my heart.

How do I give this spot 6 stars?! First time in Portland, and fresh off the plane I Googled the best breakfast spot with good food and a good vibe and wow, this place nailed it. The food? Absolutely delicious. The hash potatoes were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and packed with that addictive umami flavor. The pancakes went above and beyond my expectations perfectly cook with toppings that took them to the next level. The latte was perfection smooth, bold, and exactly what I needed, and the staff. Incredible. One of them even wrote us a list of her favorite local restaurants talk about above and beyond! If you’re in Portland and love paying for quality food, killer vibes, and amazing service, this spot is a non negotiable. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Everything service, ambience and food was delightful. Things you should know: I. PARKING Free street parking is available off Alberta street. II. SERVICE You could either order to-go at the coffee bar window or go with their indoor dining experience. I really enjoyed that they allow you to smell their specialty coffee mixes before they brew. III. QUALITY Everything is made with care. I recommend trying more than one drip coffee to palatably taste the differences. The food is made from fresh ingredients and plated esthetically as well. You get what you pay for here. IV. CAPACITY For 9:30, on at Saturday, we were seated right away without a wait. I don't know if we just got lucky, but this place seems packed on the weekends. I would make a reservation in advance if possible.

If I could give them 6 🌟, I would. They deserve all the accolades. The ambience is modern but not cold, you can wait for indoor seating or order from their sidewalk window for take away. The food was incredible, specifically the Avo Toast. I know, I know, it's avocado toast, what could be that special? Just trust me, it's worth it. The sausage roll was also good for a savory item, however, I personally feel it needs some sort of dipping sauce to round out the flavors. The coffee, though! That's the life changing part of this equation. The menu can be a bit overwhelming (just me?) but I was not disappointed with the flavor or presentation. That rocks glass... not liquor, that's coffee - and it was phenomenal.

Proud Mary is a staple for both great brunch and excellent coffee in Portland. It almost surprises you how top notch their coffee is because it is just so easy to go there for brunch. Coffee Snobs can enjoy high end coffee with their regular friends over brunch. Proud Mary has unique refreshing fusion brunch items. Some rooted in Australian culture others just unique. fusion. There are great sweet breakfast items along with savory ones. If you go definitely get. I recommend the pour flight so you can try a bunch of variety in one go. It is easy to share with 2-4 people also. The potato hash is very good, the turkish eggs are great, their bacon is a must try. A nice thick cut slab or savory smokey meat.

Its been awhile since I came here for breakfast. I am glad that I did as they have this Potato Hash that was very well made (I ordered with sauce on side). I liked that their hash was very finely thin. It went really well with the pork belly and poached egg. The place is busy, but the service is very efficient.

Really friendly and great service! We sat at the bar and everyone there was just lovely to talk to. The food was top notch, so freaking good! Stellar flavor profiles 🤌 I had the avocado toast and my friend had the hash. So so good!

Best part of this cafe is the coffee, by far. Food is not bad but nothing special. We had the sausage roll which was stale and looked like it had been sitting there all morning. The hot cake tasted good but was raw in the center. The atmosphere is great with 90s music. Service is slow.

Good coffee, wonderful location, but gets a bit packed and busy! Got their pourover and I really enjoyed it. Wonderfully extracted, could taste the fruity notes. Also got a savory pastry along with my coffee and it paired super well. Service is as fast and efficient as it gets for the traffic they get. The location has a lot of seating, both inside and out, but it fills up quick! Good spot to hang around if you like that bustling atmosphere. Overall, enjoyed my time and a great place to hang out!

Used to be such a favorite of mine. The vibes of the employees is NOT it. Acting as if it is a chore for them to serve. God forbid someone expects you to do your job ✨ Kindness would serve so much harder! 🌈 Latte art and drink were halfway decent though.

They make it so hard for me to visit, much less recommend. Although the coffee is decent, the service is APPALLING. Every single barista is rude. Without exception in the last several visits I’ve made. It’s also extremely expensive but not worth the price (as far as food goes). I ordered Turkish eggs and all of my four small pieces of toast were burnt to a crisp, inedible. Super disappointing every single time I try to give them another try.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Portland! Great coffee, delicious pastries, both sweet stuff like apple fritter and muffins, and a good selection of savory foldovers. What I love the most, is the beautiful patio just outside the coffee shop with big, lovely wooden benches and tables, a perfect place for anyone who passes by to make a coffee stop. While indoor seatings are limited at the moment, there are a few at the back, well lit with a huge opening to fresh air and the space outside. Update (Feb 2021): I have visited here a few times during my 7-month stay in Portland and always had a good experience. The staff is always amicable with attentive service.

I really love the laid-back vibe of this place! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Whether you're dining in or getting it to go, the coffee is excellent! There is a nice selection of sweet and savory food items as well. Chill music playing in the background creates a nice atmosphere for a friendly chat or doing some work on your laptop. If you're looking for some reading material, you'll likely find something on one of the bookshelves in the reading nook. There is usually plenty of seating, and a number of wall outlets available to charge your phone and electronic devices. If you're in the area, definitely stop in!

this coffeeshop differs from others in that everything inside and outside is made under the old style, tables, chairs, interior and so on. interesting, but in my opinion too much, because the view is as if no one has done repairs here for many, many years. I saw a different building made in the old fashioned way and everything was different there. the coffee here is soft without a bitter taste (for an amateur), the employees are very pleasant, polite and bistro work, I'm happy thank you. it's like a home environment. you can work and hold a business meeting and sit with a friend, there is enough space. I think for those who are close lives a favorite place, because there are always people here. good luck guys!!!

Super great neighborhood coffee place that offers a casual, comfortable vibe. Lots more room than meets the eye. There's outside seating for the nice days and some covered tables out back. They offer a good selection of muffins, pastries and foldovers. Glad we came to check this place out!

This place is great. They have amazing coffee. I loved the atmosphere as well. I am told their Banh Mi sandwich is amazing. All I can vouch for is the amazing coffee. I absolutely LOVE the Ubi Latte! I highly recommend you try it. It's a great place to meet up for coffee and/or lunch as well.

Cute little neighborhood spot, easy to get in, quick service and get back on the road. Very clean, great service—was greeted with a smile upon entering. The chai tea offered a special option of black sesame and I like it!! Also had the teriyaki tofu bahn mi with extra veggies and it’s tasty too. A perfect lunch on a toasty day! I tried this place for the first time today. Relatively cheap banh mi, it was a large portion and delicious tea concoctions. I got the onion tofu bahn mi with extra veggies and a black sesame chai. Everything was delicious, I used to live in the area and wish this place was here when I was in the neighborhood. But alas I will have to travel just a little further to come back here. Can't wait to try more items from here.

I’m picky with my matcha but i got a raspberry white chocolate matcha and it was really good! Jac and Ethan were very kind and the overall service was great! I also got the House special Banh mi with extra butter and it was really yummy!

The drinks here are amazing. 5/5 I really loved the iced tea and ca phe. But the Bahn Mi... the bread was overly dry and felt not fresh. There wasn't enough sauce to make up for it.

The Ube latte is by far one of the best ones I’ve ever had. I was having a day to myself and it was so relaxing to sit and color and listening to music while enjoying my latte on a beautiful day 🥰🫶🏻

Bought 2 lb. of Columbia and Panama "Love" blend coffee beans. The sign said "a wild blend with notes of dark cherry, red plum, and cacao nibs". Notes? More like a symphony. So much cherry. Cherry with Cherry on top. I can't really enjoy this by itself, I use a little of these beans to add to a dark roast. $63 for 2 lbs. Too expensive for coffee that I don't like.

I’m a little conflicted. One barista was super nice and let me order a pistachio cardamom latte with some vanilla bean syrup. It was *chef’s kiss*. On another visit, a different barista was quite rude and my matcha latte was made pretty badly. The coffee at Futura is special, and competition out here is tough. But I wouldn’t go for matcha again, at least not from that one barista in particular.

Formerly 'Fillmore,' this location has been redesigned and, in my opinion, revived. I believe the ownership changed during the pandemic. What used to be a darker, more dimly lit space is now brighter, with a more open and welcoming feel to it. The staff were friendly and kind. I had a lovely cup of Chai and an everything bagel with the Smoked Salmon Schmear! The coffee and food menus are simple but excellent. I will definitely try this place out again! You should too!

Always very lovely Edit: Visited Monday morning ... Kinda tired of rude staff ruining the vibe. Management, please review your practices to either hire more professional staff or improve working conditions so they aren't so unhappy. There's one nice employee in the last few months and the rest display open distain or just work silently as if they just want their shift to be over. I've heard them blatantly complaining about people in their lives, other staff, and customers that aren't even far away. Blech! They hide the breakfast menu and roll their eyes when you ask for it. The good is great but not appropriate for a crew of baristas working in such open conditions. Id be stressed as hell if I had to cook that menu in those conditions. More prep, an actual line cook, or higher prices. Cheap, fast, good: pick only two Whoever makes the menu /food prep sops needs to streamline the cooking process so breakfast can be consistently available. Its impossible to decide to visit if you aren't sure if you can eat! Drinks and easier menu items are always good. FOH is always spic and span. Customer base is friendly and there are always lots of cute dogs.

Great coffee, good breakfast sandwiches and scones and they're open most holidays. INCREDIBLY unfriendly staff. It's a bummer, because when Freedom and Lilly were here it was a fun, friendly environment, now the staff is borderline mean. They act like they're doing you a favor by serving you. The food menu was developed by Lilly and was unique and diverse, now it's paired down to the 3 sandwiches, no salads, no lunch.

Great Cafe with superb coffee and good food. I got an almond milk latte with a house made spiced flavoring. It was super Delicious! Skilled and friendly baristas. It was also kid friendly, even though the space had posh vibes. There was a lot of tables space and outdoor seating. Loved the plant decor!

Steph the manager is great. Super knowledgeable about coffee. They have made me a regular. I have been coming for about a year and a half most mornings and the staff is consistently respectful and talented. Current heroes are Carlee, Mani, Rae, Noir and Greta. They are all awesome. And super nice to my dog.

Small but fun coffee shop with unique drinks as well as traditional. We did not try any food but the drinks were very good! Prices are in line with other places but slightly high for the specialty drinks however they tasted delicious so overall was worth the cost to try out new things. Limited indoor seating area so definitely not a coffee shop to try and pull out a laptop or stay for extended lengths.

Great quality coffee beans and really fun, seasonal drinks. I love the hyper-local flavors they come up with here, especially since I love lattes and milk-based coffee drinks. I tried the iced yuzu-salt latte and the coffee itself was good but the yuzu salt didn’t come through very much. I suspect it’s because it was iced so I’ll try some hot drinks next time.

I asked for one of the special lattes as an espresso tonic. The baristas gave me a healthy dose of "please reconsider" due to the botanical flavor of the tonic not being designed to work with the more licorice-forward flavor of the midnight oil latte. I respected their opinion and took their advice. The midnight oil latte was so nice. You might like it too if you like Swedish black licorice candy. Very smooth latte, fragrant, complex licorice-forward flavor. Delicious. I went back to the counter, saying I was still curious about the tonic now that I knew what I was working with. To my surprise and delight, they made a tonic version just for me to try. Being an oddball myself, I enjoyed it also! Tasted woodsy, like the forest itself in my cup. Genuinely cool people, thank you for that extra bit of kindness and humoring my little experiment!

I used to pass the Belmont location all the time, but never went inside. I needed caffeine before an event at Powell’s, so I stopped in. The barista made me a yuzu and salt iced matcha that was really unique and really good! I drank the whole thing in one sitting! I love that they have cool colorful art for sale.

This is a very beautiful coffee shop. Very light and airy. The customer service is great and most of the drinks I've tried from this chainlet are great. This time I decided to try their Pop (tart cherries+makrut lime+matcha). I got it iced and unfortunately didn't taste neither tart cherries nor makrut lime. Which is strange because makrut limes have a very intense fragrance and taste. It tasted like a diluted matcha and it cost $7. Perhaps the flavors are more defined when the drink is hot.

Really nice and informative staff. I was hoping for a glass or cup for my matcha because I was dining in, but the seasonal matcha they have (POP) with floral notes was SO GOOD. So glad I finally got here. Honestly I think I’ve been going too long without it. The space kind of echos so if you’re looking to work on something, it’s probably not the best choice. Very cute and fun regardless

A nice coffeehouse on Fremont street in Wiltshire Beaumont neighborhood. It’s a nice sized shop, feels so cozy. Their coffee is very good. Seating is just the it should be. They also sell small collection of housewares.

Excellent coffee, calm atmosphere, and the Dutch-inspired flavors are unique but still familiar and not over-the-top. Not the best place to work/study in, but great to sit down over a cup of coffee. Love the anijsmelk latte, if you like black licorice you’ll love it!

Nice coffee shop with very tasty lattes. I wish they had a sugar free option, but the house made syrups were very good and natural. They had ok interesting flavor recipes, and I enjoyed the fantastic Anijsmelk Latte. The coffee was very good quality and made with skill and care. The matcha was very good as well, I'm glad they will be getting a blender soon.

The coffee and ambiance were amazing but unfortunately the tall blonde at the register was extremely off putting. She was laughing and talking to the people in front of us and as soon as it was our turn, her affect went completely flat; no smile, no greeting, etc. It was a very unpleasant experience and we won’t be coming back which is too bad because the coffee was great. Do better.

Good coffee experience. I was a fan of their old location and I honestly think I enjoyed that physical space more, but that’s just my preference. The staff and environment were busy during our visit (weekday, lunch time) but our order still came out quick. I got the stroop latte as an homage to their old stroop waffle offerings. It bums me out they don’t sell them anymore even though the waffles have a strong prominence in their brand and branding strategies. The latte was well made and did indeed taste like a waffle.

Love Portland and it's coffee scene. So many choices coffee shops to try! Been wanting to try this Dutch inspired coffee shop and the stroopwafel! The stroopwafel is a Dutch soft safely with a small crunch filled with a cinnamon and caramel sauce. Simply delicious! I like to dip it in my hot espresso and eat it after drinking my espresso. Very beautiful, modern space and they also sell some local goods. Excellent customer service and moderate street parking.

Charming coffee shop with a great cup of coffee and friendly service. I visited on a Monday morning, love their chill vibe and beautiful interior decor. I had a soy latte and a white bean bagel (which is vegan) and they are delicious. At the moment indoor seatings are removed but there are several small tables outside on the pavement.

Good vibes, kind baristas, and friendly ppl. I’m visiting from out of town but if I lived around the area, this place would def be a great hangout place. Tried this pastry made with sweet potato and chickpea and it was DELICIOUS. Also tried the mocha fogo and it was unique/tasty. Great place

Such a nice place for coffee and a bite. Their tapioca flour cheese waffles are *amazing* and the bee sting latte was delicious (although a little more spicy than sweet). Just be aware that there are up-charges for all to-go items, including food. We dined/drank in but were accidentally up-charged for to-go. 🙁

My Latte was delicious. Very good quality coffee and well prepared. The cafe seating was a bit limited but they have outdoor seating which is nice, it was just a bit chilly. They have sugar free vanilla and they use Monin (the food stuff.) Overall I was very happy with the experience.

Loved the festive, bustling atmosphere. The mocha fogo paired with the avocado toast (topped with pickles red onions and cojito sprinkled on top) where satisfying and tasty.

The coffee here is so delicious! Lots of different options for drinks & treats. Vegan chocolate whipped cream, vegan salted caramel sauce, bee sting latte, ube & lemon curd scone...need I say more?

Lovely coffee shop located in a triangular building with a warm, neighborhoody vibe; and modern, refreshing decors. Bright sun lights shed in through the huge glass windows. Price is very reasonable and service is genuinely friendly. There are a few small tables outside and I enjoyed my hot latte with brisk fresh air.

I’d say overall this is my favorite cafe in the city! The coffee is really good, esp love the floral ones with edible pedals on them. The space itself is also what makes this my favorite cafe—it’s got a loft, great lighting, window seats (personal fav), and quite some outlets for those who want to work from the cafe. They also make their own baked goods. I tried their Marionberry scone and it’s pretty good! Also the staff there are amazing too (shout out to Ginny and Sadie!). One time I ordered a hojicha latte but thought it was too bland, the staff readily made me another one that’s richer! Highly recommend this cafe!

My sister and I split the breakfast burrito with bacon. Delicious. Comes with a creamy chipotle sauce on it and the eggs were perfect, not weird burrito eggs. I also got a blackberry? Jasmine iced tea and my sister got a vanilla latte that she said “this coffee is super good, it’s really creamy and not bitter at all, you should say that in your google review”

I had an errand to do and decided to get myself a treat. I got a chai latte and a vanilla latte (for a family member). I’m more of a tea person, but tried a bit of the coffee too. I was very pleasantly surprised, because many places do either tea OR coffee well. Both were excellent. The employees are quick, efficient, and friendly. I’m now sad that I don’t live close to this location, but since I live between the other 2 locations I will definitely be a regular customer.

Nice spot for an easy quick bite. We ordered drip coffee and lavender latte which was very fragrant and smooth. Drip coffee was aromatic and easy to drink. We also ordered some sandwiches. Nice sourdough bread with avocado spread added a fried egg. Delicious. There’s outdoor seating indoor with counter and booth sofa seats. Also there are some loft seats on the second floor. Pretty spacious. Friendly staff.

I was a bit disappointed with my oatmilk matcha, but the pastries were so good! I got the blueberry lavender cream croissant muffin which was crazy good and my mom got the cherry almond muffin (not in photos) which she loved. Her latte was also so yummy and beautiful, definitely better coffee than matcha! For 2 drinks and 2 pastries it was a bit pricey but what isn’t these days.

Although the interior has a lot of warm wood the place felt cold and corporate. My chai was sweet and not as flavorful as I was hoping. The Marion erry scone was delicious. Friendly counter staff.

Decent coffee, not a whole lot of pastry selection, and small location. Got their batch brew and it seemed a bit dilute for my taste. Perhaps the ratio was a bit off. Nevertheless, 'twas a decent coffee, but I've had better. Not a whole lot of pastry selection, really wanted something to enjoy my cup of joe with, but alas. The location doesn't have a whole of seating inside to chill. There's seats outside though! Ok spot to come in and grab a coffee quick, but otherwise, I'd recommend a different coffee spot around town!

Tourists, avoid. I am from NYC and I can assure that it is worse than typical places in The City. Their hazelnut signature latte? So below expectation. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it seems like just a little tweak from a ready-made frozen one. I saw the staffs bring prepared foods to customers, so I expected similar and put 15% tip in advance. Guess what? Well, they did not even bother to call again while just chatting at the back. Maybe local runners and bikers love this place, their ratings show. Yet, it is one of the most awful cafes ever. I hope this place does not necessarily represent the cafe scene in town.

Counter associate was rude, and coffee was over extracted, milk was burned. No single origin available. Ive always looked forward to coming to Water Ave as I've been in coffee industry for over 18 years. Had the opportunity to come in today and was thoroughly let down.

11-11: 4.0 out of 5 - Came in after a group run. The staff are nice, the place is clean, and the prices seem to be fair. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. Can be a little noisy when the train comes by, but it's a train... what do you expect, right? If you haven't done so, give Water Avenue Coffee a try and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

Fast and friendly service with a decent cup of coffee. I also had a burrito which was so warm and delicious. The store is lovely decorated, and there is a display case on the side wall, exhibiting some one hundred espresso cups collected by the owner, definitely worth a look! There are lots of seats outside, over which the sun would slowly set on a sunny day. An excellent place to meet friends or read a book by oneself.

I've had this venue in my to go list for a while and I'm glad that I finally got to visit, give it a feel. Fantastic atmosphere, welcoming staff and great coffee options. It is attached to an adjacent bar which I didn't know prior, so this is a place with a unique offering, including being a good venue to have some work done.

Wonderful espresso, cozy location. Got the spectrum blend and it was rich, chocolatey and had the most incredible body. Really enjoyed it! The shop is quite small and the seats not the most comfortable. It's cozy and quaint, but this location is probably more suitable as a quick grab-n-go spot than to chill at. Nevertheless, worth coming to try out their coffee!

The service was fast, the barista gave great recommendations to my caffeine free friends lol. I had the horchata latte, too much of a cinnamon taste for me but enjoyed it.

The horchata latte sounded amazing and had lots of complex flavors that unfortunately didn’t show up in the finished drink. The coffee itself was strong and tasted fine, but I had to ask for a lot more horchata reduction/syrup to taste anything. Would come back to try other seasonal drinks.

Indeed it was very good coffee. They do not have any sugar free flavors but they do craft some really interesting choices. I tried the Anise sarsaparilla latte and the cardamon latte both with oat milk, and they were both delicious and very well balanced. The Anise sarsaparilla latte was my favorite. Their Matcha is also very good and in the past I've tried the horchata latte which was good as well.

I like Good Coffee! Good cup of coffee, beautiful storefront with house plants, affable and sociable service, no matter which store you go to. I tried the specialty latte with Cacao Nibs and loved it. There are some tables outside if you'd like to enjoy the sunshine and/or the tranquility of this lovely neighborhood.

I’ve been coming here since their peak days and I’m still just as obsessed. Hands down, they have the best tiramisu latte in Portland. Every drink I’ve tried has been a hit: the ube latte, flat white, cloud cream latte, cortado, matcha, and the black sesame latte (another underrated gem!). You really can’t go wrong. They also offer a lovely selection of baked goods, perfect for pairing with your drink. There's always a line, and honestly, it's easy to see why. The quality, creativity, and consistency keep me coming back. ❤️

Fun coffee spot right on the bricks! Tiny, glass-walled converted transit shelter featuring retro transit infographics. The MAX trains will bustle by through the cooridor of gargantuan buildings. Great coffee and treats, easy to chat for a second with the expert baristas ansld simple seating along the ends outside.

Love the black toasted sesame latte!!! Sweet but not overly so. The coffee is smooth and loved the simplicity of the menu. You don’t need anything over the top when you have good ingredients. A must visit! I’ve been every day while we’ve been in town.

Cute standalone kiosk with to-go only service. There are two stool chairs on one end during our quick stop if you really need to linger, but it’s not designed to be a hangout spot. It’s a good grab-and-go stop while walking through downtown or bouncing between places. We made a quick stop after lunch for the first time on Sunday, 7/27 around 2:30pm. No line. Service was quick and friendly. I asked about their second location, it’s just another kiosk, not a full cafe. We ordered: -Tiramisu Latte – $7.50 -Black Sesame Cream Latte – $7.50 -Hojicha Latte w/ Oat Milk – $6.25 The Black Sesame was our favorite of the three. The Tiramisu Latte didn’t stand out, we’ve had better. The Hojicha Latte was the crowd favorite. One thing to note: both the tiramisu and sesame lattes had a bit of acidity that we don’t typically prefer. We usually lean toward lower or none acidity coffee drinks. Overall, we liked it enough to return if we’re in the area, but wouldn’t go out of our way for it. Metered street parking around downtown Portland. Tip: come on Sundays before 1pm for free parking. No restroom available, standalone kiosk only.

Quick, cute and convenient location in the middle of downtown. The tiramisu latte is insanely good. The tiramisu cream tastes just like a tiramisu, so I assume they add mascarpone to the mixture? I moved here about 4 years ago and this was the best coffee drink I've had in Portland. Not a very busy street. Service is quick and efficient. There are a few seats to the side of the kiosk. Great place to chill and catch up with a friend :)

I’m studying for the GMAT so I have strict criteria for cafes at this point. This one is one of the best I’ve been to in PDX. It can be quite busy but there’s always a table available. There’s also a booth along the front corner so I could sit here comfortably for hours. The coffee is super delicious and the atmosphere is cool and cozy. Perfect for chatting with a friend or working silently. Bring noise canceling headphones if you need to focus! There’s also outdoor seating which is lovely!

Semi unusual decor: taxidermy, woodpaneling, damask & leather etc but the " salted caramel hazelnut llatte" more expensive than most, but not better tasting: too Milky, ( was there ANY coffee in it?) and no flavor not sweet. Blamd warm milk. Very sweet staff🩷

Beautiful dark hot chocolate and an amazing chocolate walnut cookie! Quiet this late afternoon, perfect for reading or meeting up with a friend. Pleasant and comfortable space..nice afternoon sunlight. Hope they pay their employees well, drinks are a little pricier than some other places, but maybe I don't get out much? Its a toss up.

Great coffee shop that serves very good quality coffee made by skilled baristas. The space is very warm and inviting. This would be a good space to meet with friends or do computer work. I enjoyed the atmosphere. All syrups are made in house and they have fun interesting drink specials. I do wish they had at least one sugar free option, or carried allulose syrup for those of us that have to be careful with our blood sugar.

This is a lovely coffee shop. The space is amazing (love the rocks!) and their coffee is delicious. My favorite is the Thunderegg, their specialty cortado. Quite possibly the best cortado I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer so I could justify coming more often! Highly recommend!

This is my go to coffee shop in Portland. Excellent drip coffee and a charming space. I come here to buy beans for my daily pourover, and like most other places, they offer a free coffee with the purchase of a bag of beans. I took advantage of that today to enjoy a pastry along with my coffee - Carnelian normally carries offerings from Tabor Bread (excellent stuff) as well as Shoofly, for a vegan option.

Cute simple energetic shop. I like the small ice and the fact they use holy Kakow for their chocolate sauce. My favorite as a vegan.

Bad attitude and rude owner undermine everything else this place has to offer. My partner and I were excited to discover this place when we moved to the neighborhood. Great vegan options, delicious coffee, nice space. But the person who I think is the owner is dismissive and stand-offish at best, and occasionally -- like today -- aggressively rude. It's a long narrow space, and my partner and I were sitting at the very back. Like most coffee shops, there was some noise going on, and I thought I had heard them call our order. I went up to check and asked if the drinks sitting on the counter were ours. There was no perceptible response, so I asked the person in question, "Are these the oat milk lattes." He acted like I had just thrown something at him. He looked up and, glaring at me, said slowly and condescendingly, "YESSS..." We had gone there to hang out, read, and enjoy our breakfast sandwiches and coffee, but it was hard to do that with that kind of vibe right as we were arriving. We thought maybe he was just having a bad day again, but then noticed that he was friendly and chatty with all the young hipsters who came in after us. So not sure if he just doesn't like how we look? Not going to guess what kind of bias could be at play, but it is honestly as disappointing as it is odd. I would love to keep going, but it is hard to want to give someone your money who treats you like crap.

Coffee was good. Rock theme is interesting but between that and the north facing windows and brown/orange paint scheme it kind of feels like a cave. No latte art (it wasn't busy)

Lovely coffee shop on Foster. Coffee is decent, service is friendly. As the name suggests, there is indeed a fantastic collection of gems and rocks in the shop. It's a pretty fun place to spend some time in. The shop may seem small from the outside, there is actually another room for indoor seating (though dimly lit) and a few sunny tables outside.

The food was great . I got the Mexican Mocha and it was good for my taste . We drove a couple hours because we really wanted to try this place but the customer service was not good. We didn’t see any signs about putting our dishes away (and most of the coffee shops I been in Portland we leave them on the table and the workers clean them up or they have signs where it tells us what to do) but when we were leaving the barista told us to put a things away in a really rude way , which I don’t have a problem pick up the dishes but it was not the way to ask . If you expect a good customer service I would not recommend this place . Also finding parking was really hard to find. Does anyone know if they have any signs?

Stopped in for a quick call. Cute and spacious venue. The weather was nice and they had an open air space adjacent to the main shop. The La Roberta was lovely. Next time I might try the hot chocolate. :)

Absolutely love their coffee. My husband particularly enjoys the Mexican spice mocha. They have baked donuts which I have never had and they are super delicious. Love their sesame and Ube donut.

Highly, highly recommend this coffee shop. Their flavours are so interesting, balanced and thoughtful. We had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, and he explained why he does what he does so passionately. We will be back to taste more things on the menu, but so far we had the Mexican mocha and Mexican cortado. Both outstanding, and so very instagrammable. Thank you for what you do.

Came here per recommendation from another coffee shop. Tried La Roberta iced, seasonal camotes enmielados latte warm and their pumpkin concha. Definitely their camotes enmielados latte and concha were 10/10 I could’ve done without the Roberta They’re super friendly and nice: the shop is cute. Parking was a hassle on Thursday mid day.

The windows allow for a bright clean, cute and comfortable space to enjoy delicious coffee drinks (I ordered three different lattes and all good) with pan dulce. I held a meeting, finished administrative tasks, and had a great chat with the owner who was generous with information about the neighborhood and Portland. If you're in the NE part of Portland, check this place out for sure.

I love this coffee shop. The coffee is SO good-especially the seasonal lattes. The pastries are also delicious and always fresh. Staff are welcoming and friendly. A great place to study/ work remote.

We like the vibe of this place. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. I had the pork belly tacos. They could have been done with less ingredients and more flavor.

The latte was excellent, and the burrito was hearty and packed with fillings. On weekends, there’s even a live DJ playing music, which makes the vibe fantastic. The interior is stylish, the staff are friendly, and overall it’s one of my top 3 favorite coffee spots in Portland! Already visited twice within a month — that says it all.

I visited Either/Or for the first time and was really impressed! The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and the portions were generous. The BanhMi was crispy with flavorful fillings, and the pastries were soft and fragrant. The matcha with oat milk was super smooth and perfectly balanced — not too sweet. The atmosphere was cozy and bright, a great spot to study, work, or chat with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better!

LOVE this place. Great ambience. Great food. Live DJ is a nice touch. I had the Kim Chee Fried Rice with Pork Belly. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. Nice flavor balance. Not too spicy but just enough kick from the Kim Chee. My only disappointment was the portion size. But this is a very minor thing considering the food was so delicious. I also tried the Popcorn Tofu. It's amazingly hard to find tofu fried just right and they do it well. The spice they sprinkled on it was sweet/salty with the perfect balance of flavor. Can't wait to go back.

We stopped in here for coffee and a bite and were not disappointed. The coffee and lavender fog were delicious and crafted with care (the art on top was amazing)! The food, both vegan and not, was flavorful and very yummy. The barista and cook were also very kind. Definitely would come here again!

I've wanted to visit this coffee shop for a long time and I finally made it happen yesterday. The atmosphere was good. There were a lot of outlets and I also noticed there were purse hangers under the bar counter. Clearly, they care about their customers. I ordered cappuccino($4.75). The barista poured it very beautiful. It tasted great as well. The way they blend their coffee beans and how they brew must be just right. I found it a bit pricey for the amount you get, still I enjoyed my cappuccino. I didn't spot any flies so I was able to take my time to finish it.

The coffee shop is big inside with some counter seats and tables by the window and wall. I feel they didn't put enough seats in the shop for large groups because most of the tables are only available up to four people. Reasonable price and helpful staff. They had some trouble printing out my receipts, though. Machine problem, I guess. The location is close to the train to the airport. I'll be happy to come here again before I go back home. Some homeless people are camping outside by the windows. I would not use the window seats because of this, and I wouldn't go there late at night.

Hot Jasmine Matcha is so good. The jasmine fragrance is perfect, just nice, not overpower, but I can smell it when I sipped the drink. It's lovely! The baristas are very friendly. The cafe is spacious. There is a pay parking structure across the street $2 per hr, so that's convenient.

Terrific coffee shop! The baristas were sweethearts, service was very fast (like I got two pastries heated and a cold brew within 3 minutes), and the atmosphere is so cute and vibey! Delicious pastries and stellar coffee in a stellar ambiance - totally recommend stopping by here to read and charge your phone while hanging out!

Ive gone to case study in the past, and know they can be more expensive than a normal chain spot - but to be charged 10 dollars just for 4 shots over ice and some vanilla syrup feels a lil outrageous to me. I didnt see the price until my card was already down to pay - so I double checked the menu and each shot costs 1.00, or even if you charged for an americano thats 3.50, each shot after 2 making it 5.50 - with vanilla, 7.50. Customer service felt off as well, usually super nice and friendly but i just felt like i was getting passive aggressiveness - sad to say I won't be returning - supporting local is 100% my pride, but this just feels like some serious upcharging.

Decent selection of pastries and plenty of space to work/study. My latte was alright, the coffee was pretty acidic so I added more simple syrup for balance. I really wanna give this place another chance (maybe a different branch) with a different drink next time because the pastries were great!

Portland coffee tour cannot be completed without visiting Heart coffee roasters. This is one of the my top tastes in Portland i can pick. Their Honduras, Ethiopia beans are so nice and acidic, flavorful. I can’t wait to taste Honduras Gesha. What a great way to get morning started with a cup of Cardamom latte!! Only downside is there is no branch in SF bay area.

A great “neighborhood” coffee shop with a cool vibe. The pastries are great with lots of lamination in the chocolate croissant that I had. The large latte was tasty from first sip to last. The coffee tastes deeply roasted which is great for the first one of the day, for me at least.

Some darn good espresso. There is a blend and a single origin on espresso. SO happened to be from Kenya today. 4.25, no extra surcharges for SO. Extremely happy with the shot! Nice yield and presentation. Recognizably taste like Heart, flavor is smooth but plenty of well-separated clean acidity to enjoy.

Love the vibe of this coffeehouse location on E Burnside. Both the espresso and matcha lattes were delicious and beautifully made with latte art. Barista was friendly just like the other location on SE Woodstock. Highly recommended!

I think Heart might have the best coffee in town! I was recently there for a tasting and it was absolutely delicious and a great educational experience. Super kind and friendly staff which is always refreshing in Portland.

This coffee shop has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with beautiful chandeliers that add a touch of charm. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which enhances the overall experience. They offer a great variety of coffee, and I decided to try the honey lavender latte. While it wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped and leaned a bit too sweet for my taste, their pastry selection is impressive, featuring cookies, bars, muffins, and even cold sandwiches. I did notice that the tables and floors were a bit dirty, and the table I sat at was a little wobbly, which can be improved. Additionally, you’ll need to find street parking, which costs about two dollars per hour, so keep that in mind. Despite these minor inconveniences, it’s still a nice spot to relax and enjoy a coffee, and I’d be happy to return to try more items from the menu.

I went here every morning while I was staying nearby on vacation. My family and I loved this spot! Great coffee drinks, delicious baked goods, fantastic service, and plenty of places sit inside and outside.

The exact kind of coffeehouse I’m always looking for in a new city! The Dragonfly is inviting, well-decorated, and comfortable. There is plenty of (indoor and outdoor) seating, ample menu options, free wifi, and even a take one, leave one library toward the back. If you’re in a hurry or on a stroll with your pup, they have a walk-up window on the street for ordering, as well. They also host community events each month that are worth a visit, such as open mic night. Be sure to grab a punch card when you stop in—get a free drink for every 10 non-alcoholic beverages you purchase.

Coffee was really good, love all their specialties! I got the Stargazer Latte and it had amazon flavors to compliment the coffee itself! Also shoutout to this place for allowing dogs inside as well as outside! My partner and I loved it here after a day of touring Portland with the doggo!

Probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to. I love absolutely everything about this place - the taste of the coffee, the mugs they serve it in, the different coffee sizes, the decorations, the variety of tables and chairs you can sit at, the atmosphere, and the neighborhood. Every little detail feels just right, and it all comes together perfectly.

My FAVORITE coffee shop in town. I love their outdoor area, the cute walk-up window, their baked goods (can't go wrong with anything- but my fave are their bran muffins and corn meal muffins!), the vibe (always bustling, inviting, and warm), but most of all... THEIR CHAI!!! It is spicy to perfection. Top of the game!!

Holy moly. How have we not been to this place sooner?! Had an absolutely amazing vegan caramel latte and marionberry poptart - both my husband and I loved everything, and the prices felt on point! Excellent bang Totally plan on being back with our friends and families! Can't wait to come back and try the Brazilian Cheese Waffles 😋 Staff was super duper friendly, the vibes were immaculate as they say. Came at about 3:30 in the afternoon and we were the only ones there, street parking was not difficult to find.

I have to say Nossa is probably one of my favorite roasters in Portland. They seem to really know all about coffee. Another thing that I really appreciate is that their coffee prices are very reasonable and are slightly below average but the taste is well above average. I got a spiced Mexican Mocha with Chile powder. It was amazing! The staff was very friendly and they seemed like they wanted to connect with there customers. I also appreciate this. This particular location is not suited to work on a laptop and work. It is more of a location to get a coffee and either drink it outside or on their small bar. I would assume that this would be an amazing cafe to visit in the summer months.

I drive from Tigard to downtown, just for the best Soy latte I’ve ever had! (And I’ve been to all continents except for Antarctica 😎) I’ve been a loyal customer for over 4 years.

Living and working in the pearl comes with a unique set of issues, finding a good coffee shop however, is not one of them. Nossa Familia is an established Portland brand that makes great coffee, is down to earth, and promotes responsible farming practices. This little shop in the pearl reflects that pretty well. The staff is always humble and helpful, the little patio is great for a sunny afternoon, and again the coffee is delicious. Wouldn’t go out of my way for a visit, but is my preferred choice when in the area.

Great coffee spot (take out only). I’ve had a Cortadito, Matcha Latte tea and Mocha Fogo on different occasions and all were excellent. Great service and the price is right. I also had their pao de queijo (cheese) 🧀 waffle 🧇 and it was rich and delicious.

Great spot, love the plants integrated within the interior. I ordered a military matcha and it was very good. The staff is nice and friendly. You can seat i side, on the patio or upstairs.

Really well designed place with cool, extra casual atmosphere. Observe Hipsters in their natural habitat while enjoying your espresso with acqua frizzante, served just like in Milano! Coffee is on the sour side, so opt for a darker roast if you're not into that recent trend. There's a second floor where one can sit to enjoy one's beverage uninterrupted by the transients, ubiquitous in this area. Altogether an enjoyable little coffee shop but we liked Umbria (a few blocks to the west) more.

Such a lovely spot for delicious coffee! The flavours are rich and luxurious, and very decadent. I had a hot cardamom and caramel speciality coffee, it was creamy, smooth, and perfectly sweet. The space itself is beautifully decorated and full of charm, with cosy window booths framed by traditional fabric dividers and cute floor seating options that make it feel both intimate and intriguing. The atmosphere is as inviting as the drinks. The staff are incredibly sweet, friendly, welcoming, and smiley. We didn’t realise the store had just closed as we were leaving, but even though we stayed a little past six, the staff never rushed us out. I’d highly recommend visiting. They also offer to go coffee for anyone on the go!

I had high expectations for the place. I was expecting to get Authentic Turkish Coffee like I had in the bus. However, the works informed me that the owner stopped that service. Instead got a latte which doesn’t scream Egyptian Coffee. But I might be wrong. The Falafel Wrap was dry for my liking and the sauce for the falafel was good overall. The atmosphere and design is the only thing I believe had me stay.

10/10 for Tov! I ordered “nectar of the gods” - (phenomenal) and my friend ordered the “Egyptian Sahlep” which was so rich, rosy, and delightful! We stopped by on our way to the airport so it was a quick visit but I will be bringing all my guests to Tov for the amazing atmosphere, customer service, and like I said the coffee was PHENOMENAL. Well worth the price 🩵

We had the traditional Egyptian coffee and it was an amazing experience. It was a special surprise for us to be able to observe and learn about the process of how our coffee was made. The staff were very friendly and you could see the great care that they put behind every cup of coffee. The cardamom infused coffee and pastry were delicious!

This place is a diamond in the rough. The curbside appeal leaves much to be desired but once inside you immediately forget about it. The decor is lovely and has a modern yet rustic feel. There are windows into the brewing process which is pretty neat. I have gone here twice for the cold brew - both times the coffee was fantastic and the barista was very friendly. If you are looking for a delicious cold brew and chill spot this is your place. I want to try the lavender latte and the mocha island latte in the future!

Our delivery of food and coffees arrived on a tray, not in a sealed bag. The stopper to one was on the bottom inside of the cup. The driver had helped himself. We were profoundly disappointed that the store failed to contain our order in a sealed bag that would prevent the obvious theft by the driver. First time we've used this vendor for delivery. It is the last.

I just had a bagel and coffee delivered and you all really made my day! I love the personalized stickers and the little hand written message. I've had a stressful month and it really meant a lot that a complete stranger would take the time to put a smile on my face. Thank you! Everything tasted great as always too!

I've driven by this spot a number of times and finally stopped in. It's a spacious yet cozy cafe, very appealing, with plenty of decent spots to set up the ol' computer and get some work done. I had a nitro chai, and it was excellent!

I love this coffee shop! I work in coffee so I'm on the picky side but my latte always tastes great. I love their cookies and thin mint brownie from petunias too. The staff is so nice. I've never encountered anyone who wasn't . I've had fun conversations with them and they were so helpful when I wanted to try something new. One time the cafe was a little on the warm side and I'd been there on my computer for quite a while and had finished my drink. One of the baristas brought me a complimentary tea (which was delicious) to my table and apologized for the heat even though the temp was already cooling down. Really great.

The coffee is very good. Like this is the kind of coffee that I like, smooth, with an aftertaste of brown sugar. However, the marionberry scone is very dry. I would prefer if it’s a bit more moist.

My go to coffee shop in the neighborhood. No fuss, great coffee and a friendly and down to earth staff. One time I dropped my partner’s coffee on my walk home from the shop (dang you slippery yeti cup) and I walked back to get another and they were so sweet about it and refilled me for free (which I was totally not expecting) and told me they hope my day got better! ❤️

Albina press is a simple coffee shop excelling in og vibes, with modern technique and coffee flavors featuring Coava coffee. The baristas are always playing some a awesome music that is not quite what you expect. This is also an intersection of Portland culture that is raritity.

Stopped here before crossing into Washington. Chill, slightly moody lighting and pretty good playlist! The oat milk tasted fresh, not weirdly sweet like some spots. 5 Stars!

Albina Press is the kind of cafe that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The coffee is excellent and the presentation of the drinks is really artistic, everything is just my style. The only thing that could be better is seating availability during peak hours, since the place can get crowded quickly.

This is a fun little place to hang out! I love the inside and the colorful wall outside of the building. My friends and I all got mochas and hot chocolates. The chocolate flavor was a bit too bitter for me - almost like unsweetened cacao powder. The coffee flavor was excellent, though. I loved how they made fun designs on the coffee - going the extra mile is always a plus!

Lovely ambience, great staff and delicious coffee. Really loved the vibe of this place. Very clean and well maintained as well. We ordered Caramel Latte, Oatmeal Wet Capuchino, a wheat-free vegan muffin and plain bagel with cream cheese. The barista is quite talented in decorating the coffee as well. Definitely recommend this place. Oh, also it’s pet friendly and has decent patio seating as well.

Abba is a nice little coffee shop, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I was particularly fond of the sea salt cream latte. My only real complaint is that the drinks are extremely expensive. For two lattes, plus a reasonable tip, you’ll be looking at spending nearly $20. And the drinks aren’t big either. I don’t think I can really recommend it based on the value, even though the drinks were pretty good.

Cute cafe!! Love all the different options for lattes, I tried the summer seasonal matcha for my first visit. It was strawberry coconut cream, & it was perfectly balanced w the matcha and sweetness. Great place to do work or read! Also tried the lemon blackberry lavender scone which was great.

Super cute little cafe. Great customers service, was greeted at the door and drinks were ready within minutes. There were a couple tables inside to sit down and chat with friends and great music to have in the background. Ordered the chai latte and the salted caramel latte both with excellent flavor.

The pastries from Abba are the best I've had in so long! I tried the Lemon-poppyseed Hibiscus Scone and a Marion Berry Pop-Tart, both incredible! I have to be honest, I've been roaming around Portland for the perfect matcha, and unfortunately, this one is the worst I've had so far. The matcha flavor was kind of minty and not at all sweet. I wish I had gotten one of their unique coffee beverages because those seem to be really good! My mom got a chai latte, and it was amazing!

Update: I came back to this spot because it’s just so nice to work here, really. I appreciate how chill the music is FR today because I had to lock in. I did try the rose, lemon, poppyseed bread, it looked way better than it tasted. I was so disappointed it was too sweet! And also soooo dry but the frosting was yummy. That’s said, the staff here are so phenomenal: they are just the sweetest women I’ve ever met. Loved the staff here there were two women working and they were so kind. Very clean space with WiFi and yummy coffee (though I drink many a lattes and this was just okay). The staff here is really kind though! I love how their music is not too loud and you can work to it :))

After doing some research before flying into PDX for a father/daughter trip this little coffee shop came highly recommended and I can see why. Its everything anyone could possibly want in a local corner coffee and pastry shop! Quaint and cozy and obviously very popular as we went in mid week on a Wednesday around 930/10 and it was full inside. Fortunately didnt have to deal with any long lines but even of there were it would be so worth it. Friendly baristas and everyone behind the counter also seemed happy and pleasant. My daughter settled on an iced oat milk latte, I had a mocha, and we split a marionberry galette and some zucchini bread. Both coffees were amazing (the iced latte was smooth and refreshing and the mocha was rich but not overly sweet (perfect) and loved loved loved the marionberry pastry!!! Loved the area and the vibe inside and wouldnt hesitate to come back again. Wish there were more places like this back in SoCal however its just not the same without this fantastic cool, wet, and foggy fall PDX weather which I love!

Great coffee and food but even better they’re super warm and kind and very quick service! We came here on a Monday morning mid morning and it was packed, but the line went super fast and everything was really efficient. There isn’t much room to sit or laptop around during these busy times, but I can imagine during the day of being very peaceful.

simply one of the best cafes in portland! absolutely everything here is perfect - from the staff, to the pastries, to the skills of the baristas, to the seasonal drinkies. i absolutely adore this business and will come to get a coffee & pastry every time i have a little splurge money. it’s a little on the pricey side but it’s worth every penny. there’s included gratuity and i usually still tip on top because everything is SO good! they offer great vegan options , too. the fresh focaccia sandwiches changed my life. the rose pistachio cookies are one of my favorite treats ever. i could go on and on… i love this place 💌

This is my favorite strawberry matcha I’ve had in Portland! Love this place and love the folks who work here. The baked goods are spectacular. It’s hard to find a place with delicious drinks AND quality pastries/baked goods!

Portland favorite. Great coffee, even better pastries (get the galette, heated). I wouldn’t dare go on the weekend between 9-11:30…you’re waiting in line for 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for them to make your coffee. Coava coffee is served at 90% of Portland cafes, so you can get the same drink almost anywhere else. Any other time or weekday though, you’ll be fine. Fruit danish is also great, but in the winter they change it to pumpkin and it’s just not good imo — it makes the flavor super dense and the dries out the croissant. It’s like eating peanut butter in a croissant, just sticks to your mouth and needs a different texture. I love this place, can’t wait for the second location to open. Edit: Okay, I’ve loved this place for years. BUT. In the past few months I’ve gotten the galette (my fave pastry in town) and it appears to no longer have mascarpone. There used to be a bed of fresh cream below the fruit (first pic) and now it’s just tart fruit with no cream (second pic). But maybe I just got a bad batch.

A super fun place! This retro-looking motorcycle-themed coffee shop is housed in a space filled with motorcycle artifacts from helmets to vinyl covers to artworks. You can get coffee, snacks, breakfast or lunch here, and even a free, beautiful Greetings from Portland postcard. I love it.

PUSH PULL | Stark is a fantastic café! The coffee is excellent—one of the best I’ve had in Portland. The space is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. It’s a must-visit every time I’m in the downtown. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great coffee experience in a cozy setting!

Delicious coffee and excellent service. This is a great place to chill and do work or study. A lot of light comes in from the ceiling tall windows and there are outlets throughout to charge your phone or laptop.

Push X Pull just made it into my Top 10 Portland coffee shops — and easily Top 3 in SE PDX. I found this gem thanks to a recommendation from a barista at another spot, and I’m glad I followed the lead. Tucked away in Southeast Portland, Push X Pull nails that balance of great coffee, vibes, and an inviting space. Plenty of street parking, friendly staff, and overall just a really comfortable atmosphere. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Give it a try — I think you’ll be glad you did. This is a pretty cool place located off Stark. We came here before getting breakfast down the street. I tried their Thirst Trap - which was an expresso tonic with a strawberry and lime cordial. The drink was good and had a unique flavor to it. The people working here were friendly and quick to make our drinks.

This is a coffee person's coffee shop. Seriously one of the best in not only Oregon, but the entire west coast. Not to say anyone couldn't have an amazing experience here, but if you're like REALLY into coffee, you are gonna have a good time. The bean selection is unmatched, typically 8-12 offerings varying in origin, varietal, and process methods. From extremely approachable, to exotic and funky, they have it all. World class farmers and producers are always available here. The baristas are always nice, and knowledgeable. They ALWAYS have at least one alternate espresso, and sometimes two alternates. Ensuring that If you want something a little out of the usual realm, something funky, fruity and exciting, or just something to spice up your regular shop order, you can have it. Of course they also keep a consistent regular espresso, for those who need to know they are going to have the same experience time and time again. Don't sleep on this shop. Trust me. I'm a avid coffee enthusiast, am no way affiliated with push and pull, and I get nothing out of this. I just want to assist my fellow weird coffee people in finding the right shop.

Thornton is a family started, family run business that roasts their own coffee beans. Because they do small batches, the beans are perfectly roasted, not burnt like so many other industrialized beans are. They have a small pickup window at this location. Nowhere to sit, but Central Beaverton is just a few blocks away. Their service and coffee more than make up for it. Go give it a try!

I’m been meaning to try this roaster for a long time but it’s all the way across town from me. I finally went this weekend to get some beans to bring home and naturally had to get a drink while we were there from the walk up window. I got a cortado, hubby got a shaken espresso. Both incredibly delicious (hubby said it was the best shaken espresso he’s had). But the real treat has been the coffee beans! So fresh, deliciously smooth and creamy, and so many options to choose from! It was hard to pick just two. We consider ourselves novice home baristas but they were by far some of the best shots we’ve pulled at home. We will definitely be trying more!

I just adore this little roaster tucked behind a spa shop. Cute walk up window with all their roasted beans on display. The baristas are skilled and milk temperatures are reliably consistent. Right off the street, a small bar to stand at. Small assortment of muffins and pastries. Great for a grab and go!

This walk-up coffee shop has some of the best coffee in Portland. They roast the beans on site using a special micro-roasting process that leads to superb coffee. A few baked goods are available, too. This is not a sit-down restaurant or breakfast joint. All you’ll find here is excellent coffee roasted on site.

There is a great variety of coffee beans for sale. I couldn't decide which one to get, so I asked the barista. She was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend stopping by!

This little hole-in-the-wall roaster is the real deal. There’s no sit-down space — just a simple counter and the heavenly aroma of freshly roasted beans — but what they lack in seating, they more than make up for in quality. You can tell there’s real care and skill behind their roasting process. No burnt bitterness, no underdeveloped sourness — just clean, vibrant flavor in every sip. Whether brewed as espresso or pour-over, the coffee holds up beautifully. Dinging one star only because there’s no sit-down option — otherwise, this would be a perfect five

This place is really picking up! I love it!! And I'm so happy the owner is getting more business than last year. A bagel shop moved in under the same roof, and now there are more food options readily available, when you go here to get coffee or other beverage. The decor is pretty cool, not boring hum-drum at allll. The atmosphere allows for friendliness among strangers. ❤️ Prices are...competitive. And they have alt-milk options including coconut (which is at some places not available). Highly recommend!!

Café Zamora is a Portland gem. Fantastic coffee available packaged or by the cup, Guatemalan tamales, and cool shop setup. The owner (Hector) is such a friendly guy who is always fun to talk to. They have a really great story and socially conscious business model. I recently bought some of their coffee as presents via their website and was amazed at how quickly and effectively it got delivered. Highly recommend checking them out at the shop or by buying their beans at Market of Choice or online!

Small dainty place that serves good coffee. I especially liked the vanilla latte I got! Hope they extend their hours in the future, I like bringing my laptop here and sitting down to get some work done.

Pricey but delicious coffee. I'm not in this neighborhood very much anymore due to moving jobs, but when I was around more often, this would be a good place to get breakfast and caffeine in the morning. It can get a bit busy and it's hard to park in the direct area, but the place is worth checking out. Trendy vibes, creative flavors. Pretty typical Portland coffee shop but they do it well.

Roseline Coffee absolutely exceeded our expectations, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful server, Ty. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of the kind of calm energy that makes you want to stay all day. The space is beautifully designed — modern yet cozy — and the aroma of freshly ground coffee hits you in the best way. But what made our visit truly special was Ty. Incredibly friendly, genuinely kindhearted, and attentive without being overbearing, Ty made us feel completely at home. They took the time to answer our questions about the coffee offerings and shared thoughtful recommendations with real enthusiasm. You could tell they cared not just about the product, but about the people they were serving. The coffee itself was exceptional — bright, balanced, and clearly made with skill and care. We tried both a pour-over and a seasonal latte, and each one was a work of art. It’s rare to find a coffee shop where the quality of the drinks matches the warmth of the service, but Roseline delivers on both. We’ll absolutely be coming back — not just for the coffee, but to see Ty’s friendly smile again.

This cute coffee shop has a great atmosphere, and the decaf roast is excellent. As someone who can’t drink dairy or nut milks, I was super excited to see that they offer soy milk. So many places have switched to oat, and I just can’t get on that train. Looking forward to supporting this small business alternative to Starbucks for the occasional soy milk latte.

We were met with friendly staff and good lattes. We enjoyed the art deco setting. Booth seating with walls allows for easy conversation... and the wallpaper was fun, fun, fun!! My easy-going husband agreed to model. That's when you know the coffee was good.

This is my new favorite Portland coffee shop. So many coffee shops overcook and burn their coffee but Roseline coffee gets the temperature perfect. The flavours are light rather than dark. So if you favour lighter more floral coffees this has it just right. Seats are comfortable. Atmosphere is really nicean ok amount of outlets to work.

I would like to go here more, but recently they have been playing the music really loud. Im a little more sensitive to noise than most, but I really wish more cafes in portland created a calmer ambience, one where talking to a friend wasn't a battle over the loud music.

This was close by to where I was staying, I liked the name, and the Popcorn flavored lattes on the menu was intriguing. I first had the Buttery Salty Theater latte. Subtle but it still reminds you of movie theater popcorn in a good way! I also had the vegan breakfast sandwich. I’m not vegan and don’t go out of my way to eat vegan food, but I’m not opposed to it at all. Portland has a lot of vegan restaurants and none have disappointed me, especially this filling breakfast sandwich. Not pictured, I ordered the Salty Sweet Kettle Popcorn latte to go. Just as good as the Buttery Salty Theater one but a tad sweeter. Bryce was there manning the register and coffee duties. Very pleasant and helpful. Nice chatting with him for a bit. Small place. Not a lot of seating so it seems maybe most people order to go. Nonetheless, great coffee and treats.

Such a cute place and quite a bit of seating you don’t expect. Delicious coffee. We had the caramel popcorn coffee. So good. Great staff.

I drove out here from Vancouver so the first thing I want to note is that it’s in a very convenient area of town, very close to Grand/I-84, with plenty of 2 hour parking around. I hate driving out for specialty matcha just to not be able to park anywhere close, so that was a huge plus. They were decorated for spooky season, playing some kind of postpunk, and not busy (10am on a Thursday), very chill vibes. The barista told me they were out of an ingredient for the caramel popcorn latte, but I’m grateful for that now. I chose a hot theater popcorn matcha latte, and despite not being a cinnamon roll person, couldn’t resist a strange muffin-cinnamon roll hybrid from the case. The matcha was so good, I audibly said “oh my god” to myself 4-5 times before I got back to my car. I don’t know how they managed to nail the taste of salted and buttered movie theater popcorn on top of matcha, but they did. It might be my favorite matcha I’ve ever had. The cinnamon roll was good too! They didn’t skimp on the gooey stuff inside, it almost tasted like banana pudding to me. I will definitely be returning.

This is a small coffee shop so not a ton of seating. We weren’t looking for a plant based place but we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our coffees. I got the Popcorn slatted with caramel that was delicious with flaky salt and I would highly recommend. Service was friendly.

Outstanding service and memorable experience define Exquisite Creatures Coffee. Everything is vegan! The beverage selection satisfies any mood. Ranging from floral to spicy, hot or iced , there is both local quality and quality local items to be enjoyed. The seating is adequate for doing work on their WiFi network, socializing with coworkers during lunch, and even a cozy place to set up an interview. The surrounding downtown area is phenomenally decorated by local artists of professional quality in a walkable and accessible part of Portland. Such a lovely little coffee shop in Portland! The lattes are very well crafted—unique and delicious. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into the creation of their drinks. The shop itself is small, but is airy and well designed. It’s a great place to enjoy a coffee and pastry.

Stopped by Electrica Coffee as it’s conveniently located near all the major distributors that I work with. The building and the interior design is really unique and looks great. The barista was really nice and attentive and did a great job making the coffee. Overall this was a great experience and I would recommend this coffee shop.

Beautiful building, coffee was good. But almost nothing to eat, what there was i literally took two bites and couldn't eat it, not good. I get one wants to see themselves as trendy or off beat cool or whatever.....but sometimes weird is just weird, and entirely devoid of upside. I appreciate how quiet it was, but I dont. know if it is always that way.

I've been here a few times before and have enjoyed both the drinks and the service, so I was excited to bring my friend here for the first time, but unfortunately this visit missed the mark. My friend and I were very disappointed with the matcha lattes. The barista didn't even ask clarifying questions while taking our orders and gave curt responses when we tried to ask our own. I was hoping it was just an off day, but after seeing similar recent reviews, it feels less like a one-time slip.

Stopped by a couple days ago. Asked for a med mocha with vanilla. Got a small cup instead and was surprised she charged me 6.50 for it. I thought it was a mistake. I asked her that she said no. So I decided not to get a medium size cuz it could be 10 bucks. WOW!! The cup on the right from another coffee shop is a medium size for the same price. Got in the car and drove off a little while later (wanted to let it cool off for a bit) I drank and it wasnt mocha. Bummer!!

We were really excited to try Electrica coffee, but honestly, the experience was not great. The barista we had was rude. We asked for a drink recommendation and she said “you should get what you like” which was less than helpful. She was very short with us and would not even look at us when we asked questions. The crafted drinks were mediocre at best. The rice donuts were unique and tasty. The vibe was really cute, and had a lot of space to study/work. The cafe has a lot of potential if the staff was just a little nicer.

I am now a proud regular! I have been living in Portland for about 4 years now and have enjoyed getting to know the specialty coffee scene— this place is great! The drinks and pastry’s are super consistent. The atmosphere is comfortable and chill— I work from home and it’s not always easy to find a spot somewhere I can still get some work done. All that said, I come back because of the staff, Sam always makes me feel welcome! She remembers my order every time, plays great tunes and is super knowledgeable/helpful when I have any product questions. I have worked in the service industry for a long time and employees like that keep the people coming back. The mochi donuts are absolutely delicious— definitely a must try! Electrica has a store front located inside the coffee shop and I like to walk around the store after hanging in the shop for a bit. They have some great pieces and I always feel inspired after taking a stroll through their show room.

Probably the best matcha I’ve had in Portland, and one of the best I’ve tried around the world. The owner, Seiji, selects a super premium variety from Japan with quality that I could immediately taste. I really wanted to enjoy the saikyo latte but the miso flavor was a bit overpowering, especially coupled with the acidic Ethiopian espresso, and I normally like miso caramel myself. Definitely drink it alone and not with any desserts or sweet treats or you’ll only taste the savory, umami notes in your coffee. I’ll definitely be back to try the other coffee drinks and especially that matcha 🤤.

So pleased with this coffee shop! I've been an out of town visitor the last few days and walked to Wallflower every morning. The coffee is delicious and my latte was made perfectly each time. I find it difficult to find a coffee shop when I'm out of town that delivers good lattes the way they should be made, but the baristas at Wallflower have nailed it. Perfect temperature, perfect micro foam consistency, and amazing flavor. I so appreciate being able to come to a coffee shop and know my drink will be consistent each day even with different baristas. That's exactly how it should be! Looking forward to coming here again when I'm back in town!

Wallflower Coffee has incredible coffee, a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and plenty of space to spread out and get work done. The vibe is calm and welcoming—perfect for reading, studying, or just enjoying a quiet moment with your drink. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into creating a space that’s both functional and beautiful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable spot with great coffee and good energy.

Very vibey coffee shop but it is lacking a lot in syrup options and drink specials. Plus very bad taste in music(techno) that was being played today when we visited. I want a coffee shop to feel more laid back and chill when I enter not making me feel like I’m at a rave! The music was blasting and just didn’t make me feel like wanting to stay and read my book.

It’s soooooo cute inside, I love how it’s decorated. I got an iced oat milk latte with vanilla & cinnamon and it was delicious! Staff was friendly.

I've been to this coffee shop a few times and I can now say that the people who work behind the counter are not incredibly helpful and are not willing to ask any questions that you have. Also the specialty options they have for drinks are pretty odd. I feel like they taste like tikka masala as a drink. It's always hard when you don't have a great experience with the people who work there as well because that it tastes your experience a bit more. It's a cool coffee shop but maybe just order a normal coffee and try not to engage with the people behind the counter because they're not super friendly. The things that they also have on sale or a complete and utter rip-off for an incredibly expensive price. One time they were selling a dad mug for $15 and it was the exact same mug that I got at the dollar store.

Truly a perfect coffee shop, and my favorite in Portland. I loved working at Wallflower when I lived in the area, and have so enjoyed visiting in more recent months. The coffee is consistently excellent, they’re open early, the staff is kind, and the space is cozy with plenty of seating. (They also have WiFi.)

Great place to work. It has a cute aesthetic to it and has a decent amount of seating. Unfortunately, I do think the coffee was just “alright”. I personally got one of their summer special flower child latte and it didnt really taste the best. It was overly sweet and i personally have tasted a better lavender coffee. Might give it another go in the future as the space is nice to work in with a decent amount of plugs, but if you are particular about your coffee you might need to look elsewhere.

LOVE. I just happened to stumble on this coffee shop; 10/10 would recommend. The cafecito is speaking my language. A small 8oz coffee, Latin authenticity with Mexican style pastries. Diverse Spanish speaking baristas. Rita Payes playlist. Dog treats for your doggo. Beautiful aesthetic/ garage renovation. Just go! Great work!

Absolutely adore this little spot, and is one of my favorite places to work in Portland. The environment is really relaxed but cool, with plenty of seating and tables. There are even a handful of work desks, complete with lamps and cork placemats (great for laptop cooling!). When you order, they’ll bring it right to your table so you don’t have to break up your work when you’re in the zone. If you stop by Thurs-Sun, they literally have some of THE BEST BREAKFAST in Portland, and you’re in for a real treat with their dishes. Any other day though, their pastries and small bites are equally delicious! If you’re just stopping by for a quick drink, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised by their amazing quality of both coffee beans and tea drinks. Omg, their chai lattes are DIVINE (and you can adjust the sweetness). Grab it to go or sit a while, but fair warning, you’re gonna fall in love with this place. I haven’t been by for their wine socials, but it seems like a great time and love that there’s finally a place in Portland offering something like it on an approachable level!

If you are looking for a great place to study or get some work done, look no more. Esperanza offered great drinks and snacks options with many different atmosphere to get your work done. Whether you with a friend or just want to get your work done alone, they have different type of seating options so you can certainly choose. Cute decorations and service was awesome!

A super cozy coffee place with a unique assortment of seating options, some pastries if you happen to arrive before Thursdays, when they begin serving lunch, and a cool scene to escape the heat. I recommend people come here to work because of the chill atmosphere and literal work desks in the back.

So, Woodstock finally has a proper coffee shop. Inviting atmosphere, excellent customer service...and most importantly...they got the beans. Great place to work or chill. My only request would be more breakfast food, but otherwise 10 out of 10.

So glad I stopped by! Beautiful space well-lit space, delicious coffee and snacks (I had the concha). The staff were incredibly friendly and I felt right at home on my first time visiting. The tables were great size for chatting or typing away at a laptop. Very clean restroom. Air conditioning was fantastic, too!

Underrated coffee spot. Amazing coffee and quality, baristas are skilled and friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating and inside room as well. Guilder coffee serves their roasts, never realized until I visited for the first time.

I love Junior's! My coffee is always excellent. Seating is great, both indoors and outside. And I really like the staff--they are friendly and just generally cool people. My favorite coffee shop in Portland.

Junior's is my favorite spot for an espresso hang. The consistent quality of drinks here is what keeps me coming back. At most shops, you learn which baristas you can safely order a double shot from, and with which baristas you'd better shift to a 12oz milk based flavor added beverage. I *love* that I can roll in to Junior's and anyone there can deliver a clean, quality espresso double shot. They keep their stuff dialed in and don't let just anyone fling a shot. Amy, Taylor and the rest of the staff folks have been there a long time, which I take to be a sign that the business side of things is treating employees better than industry standards. I always feel welcome and included, with neither over nor under engagement. Their whole beans are roasted with an eye to ecology and fairness and make for a lovely pour over experience at home. What a gem this place is.

The Honey Lavender Latte is unreal 🤤 I’ve lived 3 minutes from this place since they opened and somehow only checked it out today. Very cozy interior and quick service. I’ll definitely be returning!

It was good. Servings of coffee were small. Blueberry croissant was really good. Husband asked for his mocha to be very chocolatey. Barista even said “so obscenely chocolate” and we said yes. It was definitely not anywhere close to obscenely chocolate.

We came in and had two Americanos and a chocolate chip cookie paired with a biscuit and honey from Pine State outside. The quality of the beans was excellent and the roast was really good, the pull was very good BUT no care was taken to maintain the coffee temperature so we ended up receiving a below tepid cup each. Also the milk is cold. Having cold milk is typical of most places but not putting hot water into the coffee cup first and dumping it out before pouring the shot in and not making sure that the hot water that's added is boiling hot ends up with a tepid cup. This way. If you could improve this one aspect of your methodology you would be five out of five stars. Keep up the good work!

Love this new place in our neighborhood! Junior’s serves great coffee and pastries until the early afternoon, then Upright Brewing pours a selection of awesome beers on tap until the evening 🍻👏🏻 can’t wait to hang out on the outdoor tables when it’s warmer, but the inside space is cute and has lots of light
