The 50 best cheap eats in Toledo

This is a crazy place, with a constant parade of diners moving in and out. In spite of the crowd, the wait was reasonable, and the staff kept everything moving right along. The food was good, but I don't see what all the hype is about in that regard. The best part about Tony Packo's is the atmosphere with a nostalgic diner vibe, and...the signed hot dog buns. I was unaware of all the celebrity-signed buns, preserved in individual cases, and displayed throughout the premises. The scope of this was beyond impressive. What a massive collection, with signatures from actors, politicians, musicians, athletes, and the like. Truly iconic and historic individuals. It's worth going for that reason alone. And...grab a hot dog while there just to have had one. Overall a fun place that has a lot of history.

With an overnight stay in Toledo, I wanted to try a cuisine that I was not familiar with. Doing a Yelp search, I found a place that served Hungarian food. The restaurant was eccentric - decorated with all kinds of autographed hot dogs, human figured statues, and other amusing things to look at. Their store has unusual and interesting products. I found the hot dogs too salty that I could not finish. The pierogis were not flavorful, not tender or had enough filling. I never had fried pickles before so I thought it would be much more crispier. The stuffed cabbage was tender, delicious and flavorful. Mac and Cheese was good - just enough cheese and liquidly. It's a delightful place to visit - unusual, excellent service and had good positive vibrations. Based on the reviews, I was expecting something more. I was more into the food rather than the atmosphere and environment. I am giving this four stars because I did not think the food was that good - it's more comfort food at reasonable prices. It was not Hungarian enough for me.

This restaurant was recommended. My husband and I were staying near the area for a few days. We stopped in for lunch and was greeted with a line of people waiting to order (which we were expecting). It reminds us of portillo's and how their ordering system is. I ordered an original dog and a side of Cole slaw. My husband ordered the perogies and Mac and cheese. Food was good (i didnt care for the spicy dill pickles), atmosphere was interesting (in a good way), it was easy to find parking. Would recommend.

We came from Indiana and had to try this place. We ordered the hotdog/chili/cabbage roll. Everything was delicious. We loved the chili. Our waitress was nice. A good experience for my family! It was a little pricey. ***

I grew up watching M*A*S*H with my family and have camped at Maumee Bay State park a number of times. One of the people we met at the campground highly recommended Tony Packo’s to visit. We brought our friends and had a very nice time in the bar area for a late lunch. We liked it so much, we returned to purchase hotdogs to put in our freezer (we BBQ’d them and they were excellent) We will return again in a few days with additional friends that want to go too. Two of us had the famous hotdogs, one a cabbage roll and another had the chicken (with paprika). All were good. The atmosphere is great, fun history, best merchandise store with many things to choose from.

Great overall experience. We sat at a high top table in the bar area. Connie (16 year employee! ) was our helpful barkeep. Friendly staff, and our food was terrific. Enjoyed the locally brewed IPA. Check out the gift shop, or you'll regret it.

This is a historic diner. I absolutely love the decor inside, so much to take in. You can sit in the bar area and be served or order at the counter and then pick your seat. The staff is very nice and helpful. They serve chili hotdogs, stuffed cabbage, fried pickles, etc. I got the chili and cheese pierogies, and they were fantastic. Their hot dogs are really good as well. There is also a small gift shop with t-shirts, pickles, chili, hot dogs, etc. I definitely recommend checking them out. I know, for a fact, that I will be back.

Cozy but bland Drove through the area and decided to try this diner during a busy lunch rush. There were no empty tables, so we had to wait a bit, which made us hopeful that the food would be amazing, given that it’s a popular local spot. Our waitress was accommodating, helpful, and kind, but the food was rather bland. The roast beef and roast beef sandwich lacked any flavour, and the gravy was mildly flavoured. The turkey club was decent; it was a little dry but still quite good. The portions were enormous; one plate could easily serve 1.5 people. The pricing is very affordable. I noticed that most of the patrons were elderly, so perhaps the food was tailored to their tastes. However, overall, I found it lacking in flavour.

Vintage classic all American diner! Super homey, feels like you’re in a small town here where locals come to eat and enjoy talking to each other. Service was great! Food was good! The pies were phenomenal! No complaints here. Enjoyed everything about this diner! Would love to come back again!

Small town diner in a big city. You can sit at the counter, table, or booth. Fries are made from fresh potatoes and absolutely delicious! Had to try the iconic "Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie". Very good, and highly recommend.

Normally we dine earlier in the day and have breakfast, today however we picked up our grand daughter from camp and asked her if she wanted to go to Smuckers for dinner. My wife explained the 75 year history of the diner and how their pies were super good. That convinced her, so we stopped in. Our 11year old studied the menu and selected fried chicken, while we ordered Blimpy Burgers. I told her normally kids order burgers and adults chicken and she laughed. The fried chicken was done to perfection and the Burgers and fries were excellent. Our server was really good. We like the old time feel of the diner great ambiance. We were full, so we ordered pies to go after all what would it be like to eat at Smuckers and not get a pie.The pies were terrific Dutch Apple, chocolate and of course Key Lime! Well worth the stop!! I forgot to mention the fries are the best in town!

Experience time travel and some real good home cooked food. I haven't been to Schmuker's in 20 years. It's just as I remember. It's all good guys. Huge portions! Pick a dinner and get the FULL COURSE. Your dinner will end with the best homemade pie you ever ate! Treat yourself or your family!

I love supporting local businesses and this place did not disappoint. So many vegetarian options, I had a hard time deciding. I ended up ordering the curried chickpea salad sub and it was a delicious mess. First, who offers such a random vegetarian option in a sub shop? Second, the sub roll was fresh and perfectly soft, the lettuce and tomato slices were super fresh, and the chickpea salad was clearly homemade. Messy? Yes. But so worth it. The historic building itself is also incredible and the service was professional and friendly. I will definitely be back to try some of the other vegetarian options.

What a jewell for the city have. Homey comfortable decor,very friendly and knowledgeable staff,and outstanding food. I had the black beef sub, it was delicious and filling.High quality ingredients and fairly priced. My date shared her stuffed pepper soup and I was pleasantly suprised with how meaty it was. Very tasty. She also had me taste her blackberry bread pudding. Outstanding! I didn't know I liked bread pudding until now. Definitely a must visit more often place.

Fantastic subs! Tried beef & basil, angry goat and a salad, all excellent. Fast nice service. Appreciated the patience service with first timers. Highly recommend trying this place out.

What a delicious place to eat, from sandwiches, soups, pasta and potatoe salad, tomatoe pie(one of my personal faves this time of year), salads, hummus and desserts(bread pudding and chocolate chip cookies). Yummy 😋 Thank you and I will be back soon.

Very cool market. Haven’t tried the restaurant but everything you could want or need for making Mexican style food in Ohio. Such a wonderful vibe that really takes me to the markets I’m used to growing up in San Diego so close to the border. Loved the art in the restaurant too. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Started to double date here. It'd been a long time since we've been there. The waiter was fantastic considering he was taking care of at least ten tables at the same time in the big room. Looked like there was a nice outdoor area as well. Food what's good, Drinks were good, and company was good.

Went for early dinner, wasn't busy. Food was good. Asked the waiter a few times to bring items he forgot the first time. They have a store in the front, fresh pastries, produce and meat counter.

We sat down, placed our order, and then waited...and waited. The food never came out. Not even an update from the staff, no apology, nothing. After an unreasonable amount of time, we finally gave up and left hungry. A restaurant's basic responsibility is to serve the food customers order, and they couldn't even do that. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Definitely will not be c.V.ring back.

Great food! There's a number of dishes here that are authentic and not readily found at some other restaurants. Beautiful murals on the walls, lots of seating however it is also very popular so seating can fill up quickly!

We stopped in town before heading to the zoo and came across this gem! The first review I saw read "amazing breakfast" and they were not wrong! Nice family friendly diner that offers great portions for a great price! Your belly will thank you afterwards!

Glendale Garden Cafe has been my go to breakfast spot while in Toledo for a while. It had been a while since we've been here so we we're a little confused when we showed up at the old location and it had moved. We drove 3 minutes down the street and were surprisingly happy. The new location was nicer from the outside and had much better amenities than the old location. The menu was still just as awesome as was the food. Today we were even offered free cake, although I questioned in my head how old it actually was. This place is all around great, don't visit Toledo without giving it a try.

The hamburger was good. The onions Rin were too greasy. My sandwich was dry and no flavor. The attention was great. The pie was dry, fell apart.

Always a great place to stop in and grab a bite to eat.... weather it's breakfast or lunch....they do a great job...keep up the good work..

Charges Overpriced side of gravy $3.20 but on website it’s $1.50. After receiving the side of gravy I was told “you may have to warm it up” remind you I went inside and placed the order so it’s not like I ordered it and cane to pick it up late. Also no silverware in the bag. I was shock when the employee asked if I needed silverware. Very disappointed

I’ve tried this place several times, and each time have sadly walked away feeling thoroughly disappointed. I really want to love it, the space is beautiful, lovely views, laid out and decorated nicely, but the experience is always less than mediocre. We booked a table for ten for happy hour. Many in our group were looking forward to the $5 draft beers on happy hour……their CO2 was out, so drafts weren’t available, and they refused to honor the $5 for bottles and cans, they would’ve made a lot more revenue from our table had they honored this. How does a restaurant/bar who advertises $5 drafts not have CO2 and we were told by our server it had been out for days?? It makes no sense. This should have been easily remedied. Next, we go to order the half priced appetizers and two of the main apps most in our group wanted to order weren’t available. It left two of us in our group having nothing but French fries for dinner. I don’t know if it’s poor management, but that’s what it appears from the outside looking in. Again, I’ve once again walked away from this place with a bad taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. Sad that a space that great is ran so poorly, it has the potential for greatness if it fell into the proper hands and management.

A very nice restaurant with friendly service and a very interesting interior. It has huge windows and is located on a high floor, so you can admire the beautiful panorama of the neighborhood. There are several rooms and a huge terrace with tables. It's clean and spacious, and the service is very friendly. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was very tasty, and the fries were amazing! I went with a group of friends and everyone praised the food! The prices are reasonable. I really recommend it. The only downside is that it's crowded, so I recommend making a reservation.

It has a lovely view from the 12th floor overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and answered the questions promptly. We were with our pup and we were accommodated accordingly. We had a great time, our pup really enjoyed the view and friendly hi's. The service can be improved as we had to wait over 30 minutes for our pizza. Overall well done!

Came to the Heights for a birthday bash in adjoining areas of this restaurant. Awesome facility with great views of downtown Toledo and the river. Some of the food we had included pork sliders and also Waygu sliders. These were tasty and let's face it, you will eat more than one. The charcuterie platter was very solid and I part liked the prime rib which was medium rare which is how I really like it. The desserts 🍪 included tiramisu cake, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate chip cookies. The cookies in particular were soft and had great texture, just like mom's! If you want a great venue with superb outdoor views, this is your spot!

The view here is really beautiful ,probably the best part of the experience, and honestly, it kind of makes up for the service. Our server was super friendly and clearly doing their best, but they were definitely stretched too thin. It looked like they were handling way too many tables, so we ended up waiting quite a while for even small things. Not ideal, but they stayed kind and accommodating the whole time, which I appreciated.

Review of The Heights Restaurant – Toledo We had a wonderful dining experience at The Heights, made even better by the company of great friends. The food exceeded our expectations. We started with the baked gouda appetizer, which was rich and flavorful. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas were a hit with everyone at the table. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad — the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the portion was generous. One of my friends had the steak frites and absolutely loved it. The highlight, beyond the food, was the stunning view. With its panoramic overlook of the water, The Heights offers an ideal setting for a date night or an evening out with drinks. A memorable experience all around.

Yikes. Time has taken a toll on what used to be a good experience with good food and drinks. Their tiki experience on Tuesday should be advertised as a run down hut on the side of a no name road. The only tiki experience was it being 90 degrees in the restaurant. The Chicago egg rolls had dry beef, mayo passing as garlic aioli, and one baby pepper hiding as the gardenia spicy peppy concoction supposedly in it. Their pizzas went from being some of the best pizzas in town to id rather throw a totinos in a microwave and call it a day because it would be thicker and more crispy than whatever I just ate was. So sad, this could’ve been such a great spot.

Another delicious charming place to have breakfast. Well decorated too, with lots of souvenirs from different places. One of the best banana nuts waffle that I’ve ever eaten in my life. Thank you

The food was very good. The place was very clean. Our waitress was very accommodating & nice.

In town for a concert last night. Looking for a breakfast spot, this was not it! Walked in, and we were only the second party seated. Service was slow, multiple tables came in after us and were seated and received their orders before we did. No coffee refresher, finally got our food and it was evident they had forgotten about our order. Toast was burnt to a crisp, asked for eggs over medium, and they may as well have been hard boiled. Sausage was undercooked, pancakes were raw in the middle. Potatoes were obviously reheated one too many times. No attempt was made at rectify anything. The kicker was giving us our bill and telling us we pay upfront. However, there was no one upfront, and after waiting for five minutes, left our cash on the counter and walked out. Would not recommend.

Good place, good prices for a really good amount of food! I tried the eggs and chocolate chip pancakes which were absolutely fantastic! Eggs were perfectly cooked and the pancakes had just enough chocolate chips! My mom ordered the manhattan pancakes and johns potatoes and thought they were delicious except a little greasy. Nice atmosphere and good staff! first time trip here and i loved it!

The food is the star of the show. The wontons or fabulous the egg roll was really really good and the entrees were all hot fresh and delicious. Service was lacking and it's kind of an old beat-up building but that's not going to get in the way of delicious food. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

I can’t recommend this place enough: food was fresh and authentic and service was incredible. Our waitress was J.P. and she was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. It truly made the dining experience even better to have such an amazing waitress. If you are on the fence about eating here, do yourself a favor and grab a bite.

Absolutely FANTASTIC! My daughter and I stopped in on our way to NY from NE. We both had Kung Pao with Tofu (she had soft tofu with Lo Mein and ai had crispy tofu with rice. Service was outstanding all staff auper friendly and again... food was fantastic! Absolutely will make a regular stop on our trips.

Truly excellent vegan options and several of them. A friend recommended this place very highly and I can see why. The food was excellent, the service was superb and the atmosphere is nice. It was a simple decision to keep returning for more great food. My favorite dish is the crispy tofu in orange sauce.

Had a very delicious meal for lunch. Decided to swing by to grab some takeout, since we had heard great things about this place before. I had the Jjajangmyeon (Black bean noodle) which was absolutely delicious. The crab Rangoon was also very good. My partner had the pad Thai and spring rolls, which she also loved. The smell of this place, when you walk in, made my stomach rumble in hunger. It smells amazing. The staff was also incredibly friendly and approachable, and the kitchen was lively! Can't wait to come here again, and this time it'll be to have a sit down meal. The place was packed for lunch, which I took as a good sign! Will absolutely be coming back.

If you want an outstanding meal, this is the place to go. They have Asian, Chinese, and Korean dishes, all of which are excellent. The service matches the quality of the food, with an attentive, friendly wait staff. The only things they lack and should add are miso soup and Grandpa's Noodles. I've dined here for several years, and never had a meal that wasn't excellent.

The food was amazing!! The flavor was there and I ate my entire plate because I couldn’t stop eating it, it was so good😂, the restaurant itself was a little cramped but other that than, the service was great and our server was a sweetheart!! I would definitely recommend:)

My brother took me and my bestie to this lovely restaurant for an early dinner. Even though we arrived early, we had to sit upstairs which requires you to navigate a Mario set of stairs. I guess if the restaurant is full downstairs at 5pm, regulars must really love the restaurant. I had lasagna. It was good, but not great. I would have appreciated bread with my lasagna. They served small squares of a baked bread but I appreciate a typical bread serving with lasagna. My brother had a small cheese pizza. He loved it.

This was a fantastic choice and Leslie T was great. We're from Dayton and was trying to find a nice restaurant. We chose here from the pictures and the menu. It was amazing and I definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful lunch there. I was so happy to see the variety that they had on their menu. I’ve had the pizzas there several times which are very good, I just wanted something lighter and less carbs. Delicious and a very nice presentation 😃.

Had to tell everyone how delicious the Autumn Salad is and how hard it's gonna be to decide if it's the apple cider vinaigrette or candied pecans that makes it so!!! It really is a perfect blend of flavors.

The service was great and food arrived fresh and warm. Unfortunately didn’t hit the mark for me. I ordered the full size of the $19 pasta (most expensive pasta option) and it barley covered the bottom, compared to the other order it came with was filled. There was just the butter, no spices in it or anything. Also had a bad dressing on the side salad- it was chunky at the bottom and clearly not edible. The spinach and feta bread was good but nothing to write home about.

We have been going to Calvinos for many years and always loved the delicious food. Last week my husband and I dined out and once again chose Calvinos. It was a mistake. We were both surprised and disappointed at not being able to rely on a long standing restaurant for its usual good food. I ordered the beef ravioli. It tasted suspiciously familiar. When I asked the waitress, she said that Calvino does not make its pasta. My ravioli was purchased from Sofo’s Italian store. My husband ordered the linguine with mushrooms in olive oil. It was a small portion with some grated Parmesan cheese and so few mushrooms that he had to look for them. The olive oil sauce was good. The lettuce in our small salads looked like it had seen better days especially now which is peak vegetable season time in northwest ohio. This was a below average experience which indicated to us that little or no imagination was given to quality of food or the vibrancy of good preparation. Extremely disappointed

This is the only fast-food location we frequent in Sylvania. We love the food, and my son loves the play area. The staff members are so accommodating and helpful. The franchisee sends out email specials, as well.

Really, couldn't even eat this. The tortilla is clearly old, stale, and falling apart but they seemed to think it was good enough for use. First and last time having breakfast here.

I really enjoyed the service. The young lady taking the order was friendly and engaging. The young guy delivering food was energetic and dancing. He was joyful and nice.

I have never been in a Chick-fil-A that was dirty, or had rude employees, or that the food wasn't what I ordered and delicious. This Chick-fil-A is no exception! Thank you to each and every one of you who makes stopping by a "pleasure". From the young man taking orders outside, to the young lady cleaning up in the dining area, to the ones in the kitchen and working the registers. You are all amazing!

I love this ChicfilA, with one exception. They close long before 10pm, when the hours of operation on Google say open until 10pm. Went this evening around 9:25pm, there were several cars in both lanes of the drive thru waiting to get their order taken at the speakers, but…nobody ever came to take it. There were cars still there like there were employees inside, but they were closed. Can someone update your hours of operation on Google to the correct times, please? Thank you.

What!!!??? So I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich, as a lettuce wrap. I get to opening the container (not wrapped like most) and there are 2 tiny slices of lettuce. I asked for no bun and make it a lettuce wrap. This was hilarious. Who did this to me? You only get 2 stars because I have never been here and the spicy sandwich was a nice filet. But wow Chick-fil-A who failed me??

Learned you can get 1 or more Chicken tenders . Love this since I cannot eat only so much. Love their wraps, but cannot eat a whole one. Does not keep well !

I was having a terrible day, locked my keys in my car and I went into balance for the first time. I told Jenna, a staff member, it was my first time. I was feeling out of place. She directed me to an amazing worker named Theo. He was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. You could tell he was not only educated in the products, but also passionate about his position. His friendly vibe was contagious. Balance really turned my day around. The bubble tea variety they offer is amazing. I 10/10 recommend. Thank you Balance.

I have been coming to balance for years. I have yet to find something I don't like that doesn't make me feel good on their menu. I especially enjoy the Mongo Tacos but honestly everything on the menu is great! Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

Wow! We were in town for the zoo and a Mud Hens game and were recommended to visit Balance by a friend. We weren't sure what to expect, but are so happy we made this our stop for dinner! The food was very tasty and extremely fresh. We left feeling very full, but not in a gross/sickly way; it was a refreshing fullness where we could go about our evening activities without issue but also without hunger! And we were impressed by the ultra low cost. For 2 adults and a child, we paid under $35 (for 3 bowls without drinks). That's an incredible value for the quality of food and serving size! The restaurant was clean and was playing fun, up-beat music. The employees were friendly and helpful with the kiosk. The only constructive criticism I could provide would be additional seating, as we came in as a group of 6 and had to split up to eat due to others already eating in the restaurant.

Edit: I have been going here more recently and it's definitely gotten better since my original review. Upped my rating by 1 star Really like the bubble tea and bowls here but otherwise some of the food has been dropping in quality. The creamy wontons I used to really enjoy but have lately always been super burnt and hard to chew. It also seems like the tacos are less filling than they used to be about a year ago but that may just be me misremembering.

I believe this is my second time here. Im giving it 5 stars because Toledo kinda sucks. The prices here are actually fair and it was plenty of food mostly because you get a significant portion of rice

It's better than birthday fast casual! Service is limited: order on a tablet, pickup at the window at the far end. It's not necessarily elegant but it's a better alternative to your usual to-go fare!

Never again, if you like bland and tasteless food go and dine here. This is like asian fusion hospital food. Heck I had better hospital food than this. The rice was hard, the meat is unseasoned, the sauce is watered down.

The food was scrumptious, the flavors were phenomenonal and our waitress Amy was very attentive to the fact that I have an allergy, not only did she write it in her notes, she put it on the ticket for the cooks and walked to the kitchen as well to ensure that my food was prepped and cooked safely. Will be back for sure.

This was my very first visit to the Brownstone. Worked out perfectly that they don't open until 3 until further notice, our large group had just gotten off work. Our waitress was beyond nice. Our food was wonderful. I got a Reuben, delicious, and the best onion rings. My husband got the BBQ beef brisket and loved it. The salads looked amazing and the portions were great. We will return soon!!

I've been here a handful of times and I loved it every time. Tonight I got the Texas Burger and a cup of french onion soup both of which were wonderful. The proportions have always been impressive I haven't once been able to finish my meal without leftovers. The place is also clean and pretty quiet despite how close the tables are. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Didn't think it was busy. But bus load of out of towers came in from Iowa to enjoy the great food and atmosphere.

Last wk-end my wife and I ordered two large Salads and a large onion rings, and it just wasn't very good. The onion ring were very greasy and stuck together so when you went to grab one they stuck together and they had run out cucumbers on my salad. We ordered it to go, we knew the previous owner and staff and I know they wouldn't have served us this way. Probably won't go back. Good luck to the new owners and hope your food turns out better for your customers cause we spent $ 27.00 and it wasn't worth it. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Outstanding pizza! Not recalled a pizza in 5+ years that matches! Still have my faves but they get an A+ in (just) pizza, service, pizza, and overall quality in food and service. My atmosphere is also a 5/5 - try them-worth it! 2 pizzas shown taken to Hensville to watch the game! Easy walk!

Taking a break from the Maumee Film Festival a good buddy of mine wanted to share a piece of his college days with me. We ordered the DeCarlo and cheese bread. A few months back I visited New York and ate pizza at a couple places. This pizza here is definitely a notch higher than one of those places- the cream cheese blending with the bbq sauce, 5 cheese blend and the hot sauce: the flavor is addicting! I’m glad I don’t live close because I’d be here an unhealthy amount. I look forward to my next visit here when I’m in town!

I really enjoyed my cheese bread and salad. Everything was fresh and the right temperature. The crust has such a great flavor it’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Fresh and I loved the flavor of the veggies. I think they had some kind of vinaigrette marinade on the tomatoes because it was nice to my tongue. I took a pic below of it.

I stopped in to get a quick bite. I got the 9" carnivore pizza and a coke. $13.00 The pizza was thin crust style. I liked the pizza. I would go back again.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to the bartender's lack of hospitality. From the start, he seemed more interested in discouraging us from dining than making us feel welcome, apparently because we had two children with us, simply looking to enjoy some pizza after a boat ride from the Sandpiper. His engagement was minimal, and he only returned to the table as the venue prepared for a stand-up comedy show, giving the impression that our presence was more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Such a cool place. I love the 2 stories and the patios. Certainly a place to come have dinner, lunch or which ever with friends and family. Great decor and the old rustic walls give it a wonderful patina. The food is good, I really enjoyed the chicken chunks. I have also had the pizza and sandwiches. All also very good. Fairly busy most times, but never overwhelming. Fast service with a smile, nice people. Been coming here for 3 yrs now. Always ready for a trip to home slice.

It was so nice to have food that tasted just like "Mom used to make". The food was so much better then the "chain restaurants" serve. I had the Chicken Walnut Salad & Vegetable soup, my husband had the Cuban sandwich. Everything tasted wonderful!! We even got Pecan Pie, yum, yum! 😋 Our server was the best, I wish more restaurants had such good service! We haven't been here in years, but we will definitely be back soon, and often! 😃

We were first time visitors and will be back. We stumbled across Al Smith’s Place by accident on a slow Sunday morning. When arriving we were greeted quickly and courteously. The menu had tons of options! We had a hard time deciding which to try first. We can’t wait to stop back in and try something else. The atmosphere was casual, clean, and comfortable. Definitely a must try place.

I had a fantastic breakfast experience thanks to the outstanding service from Brooke and Kristen. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The food was equally impressive fresh, delicious, and served promptly. It’s always a treat when great service and great food come together. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to start their day off right!

Friendly and fast service. I got my drink (diet pepsi with lemon) almost immediately after sitting. I got the mouth watering cheeseburger with fries. First off the fries were well seasoned, super hot and crispy. Which tells me they waited to put the fries down until the burger was nearly done being cooked. That is absolutely something i look for when ordering a burger. Second the burger was pretty good with salt and pepper I added at the table. I really would have liked to add the fried onions they offer on the Tex burger for an up charge but as luck turns out it's only available on that specific burger. If you eat pork I would likely recommend the Tex burger for $3 more. my Total was $12.66 (before 20% tip) with tax which is about the exact price of a large whopper with cheese meal. If you want to support a local business instead of fast food Al's place would be about the same price as Burger King (plus tip) if you wanted a burger night.

The food is just average, they charge you extra if you want more dressing or sauce (So my omelet had hardly any hollandaise on it an extra 1.00 smh). When we got there and she took are drink order she brought all of us are drinks except for the coffee when asked her about it she said he said no coffee and heard her talking to other waitress about it she never came back someone else took over and we didn't even make a big deal about it stuff happens . But other then that service was OK. Probably wouldn't go back.

Family of 6 who loves waffle house. Whenever we are traveling, we try our best to find one along the way and stop to eat. This stop wasn't the greatest. First, our server was either really new or just didn't care. He was very quiet, and I could barely hear what he was saying. He did take our orders quickly. He forgot the coffee, so someone else had to get it for me. When our food came out, most of it was just lukewarm, and the gravy didn't even cover the biscuits. I feel like the service could have been better and the food could have been a little warmer.

Food was just okay. They made hashbrows very good. The meat was overcooked. A person in my party, their bacon was black. Another person in my party ordered a steak and wanted it medium it was well done. Wish I had gotten pictures of their meals. I didn't find out til after. The A1 sauce bottle was filthy it really needed to be wiped down. No toilet paper in mens bathroom. The waitress Lexi did a really good job at her job and serving us but her cook he didn't seem to want to be there.

The staff was quick and attentive, and my server went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. She brought my food out promptly and made sure I had everything I needed. When I give five stars I truly mean it. This Waffle House is the best in the Toledo area. I have eaten at all of them and none come close to the warmth, the quality of food, and the over the top service from the amazing staff! I now come here weekly. I have had different wait staff and different cooks but what is consistent every time is the wonderful experience. Whether you want to try Waffle House for the first time or eat at the best one you've ever had, you are in for a treat!

I am from Florida visiting my best friend. She treated me to breakfast. I do not eat pork or beef so I ordered grilled chicken. .Our waitress was very respectful,professional and kind however the cook was very rude she cooked my egg and waffle before my chicken was ready. which I know it takes longer to prepare .However I feel she should have cooked my chicken prior to overcooking the waffle my eggs were perfect yet, my food was cold due to waiting on my chicken to come out.

I've loved every time I've gone to any Waffle House but Reebie is an AMAZING and personable server here. She has wonderful people skills and made our whole experience even better than usual at Waffle House.

I very disturbed by the closing and hours, the son sitting up stairs can't keep the place open, makes me upset. I've been trying to catch them open for 5 or more years and can't forget they chili dog was the best I've ever had and when I bring my friends there to show them, they're closed. I seen from reading the reviews where the owner replied. That is appreciated. I just need to know why the son doesn't want to help pops out. 😕

First things first the food is AWESOME! This was my first time eating inside for a work meeting...I love the atmosphere! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Toledo. It's cozy and unpretentious, it is a place you can be comfortable in and enjoy some delicious food!!! I believe they also have live music some nights. I highly recommend you check them out.

The parking lot is a little snug but the entrance is easily accessible. The outdoor patio in front is a nice feature. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, which was a good start. Three staff members moved our orders along in a timely fashion and all of them were very knowledgeable. Fully customizable or signature pizza's from the menu were difficult to choose from because they all sounded so good. The White Top sounded the most delicious so it was the winner, and a fine choice I might add! A great blend and not too garlicky but if you want it that way, no charge, add it on. Thin crust 6 piece pie all done cooking in 180 seconds. YUM! Well done Blaze Pizza, we will definitely be back to enjoy more of your awesome pizza's!

This is a new Subway/Chipotle style pizza place. You basically go down the line and either order one of their specialty pizzas or create your own. They then put it in a massive pizza oven to be cooked and call your name when it is ready. They offer side salads and desserts as well. One pizza basically feeds one person, but you could share and both get salads. Staff was very friendly and was also checking to see how everything was. Only have two things they could work on. First, get some more highchairs. They only have two and there were more families with small children than highchairs. Second, mark where you order. Just about every person walked in and went to the wrong side to order.

Pizza very good. Associates seem to be trained in all positions. Press out dough and top pizza in front of you. Can tell them what you want and don't want on your pizza. Blood orange lemonade very good. Would go back again.

I would like to share how pleased I am each time we visit Executive Diner. Initially, we would pass by and think the space seemed small, but it's truly quite spacious once you step inside. The atmosphere is relaxed, and I appreciate that there is rarely a wait. The food is consistently cooked to perfection, and the service is always attentive. While it does have an old-school charm, I believe the simplicity of the place only enhances the wonderful dining experience, as it doesn't require elaborate aesthetics to serve delicious food.

Found this place just by google. Not too far from my gf house. When we first got there, there was a long line so knew it was going to be good. While waiting, could hear the cooks and others talking and knew the vibes were going to be great. Once seated, ordered a Bloody Mary and it did not disappoint. We were sat right in front of the kitchen and I gotta say, I think I'm going to request that area every time as it was great seeing all the food come out and their energy. I got the Hangover and man oh man! Freaking amazing. The service was top notch as well. Everyone was very friendly. Cost was so much cheaper than expected. Food was great quality, amount of food more than expected and pours for drinks were great. This place is def a place to check out. We have added it to our places that we will always go to when craving breakfast.

This was our first visit to Executive Diner and it was awesome. I ordered the Hangover, which was two biscuits covered in scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, and sausage gravy. I also got a side of homefries. My meal was very good, and the portion size was large. My husband ordered the Mediterranean skillet and he really enjoyed the flavor of the gyro meat. They were very busy but our service was still incredible and the food came out at a reasonable time. Our waitress was attentive and nice. We didn’t have to wait for a table, but the other parties that had to wait didn’t wait for very long. I felt like the prices were good. We only paid about $26 before tip and we were both stuffed. We will definitely need to return to try their lunch menu options next.

First time here. They have a variety of breakfast items. Everything we got was good. Nice portions, we all had leftovers. Waitresses was nice. Cooks were hilarious, joking around with my grandson on his way to 6th grade camp.

We came in with a group of 8 and they seated us immediately. The waitress was very patient with us. Once our orders were in. The cooks were on it. You can see and hear them making our plates. Food was wonderful and very nice sized servings . The cooks even engaged in a little customer conversation which I found pleasant. We love stopping in to the Executive Diner whenever we are in the area. We are born and raised in Toledo but live an hour away now. We’ve dined at the Executive Diner many times over the years and are thrilled to report the food, service and prices remain great. We’ve had nothing but great experiences at the Executive Diner and it’s rare to have a sit down meal for two for less than 25$. Thank you for serving our community through out the years!

Small, quaint, unfussy, and charming little joint that offers a menu with plenty of choices, reasonable prices, and big-enough portions. The service is quick and friendly with plenty of smiley faces. This is a diner that knows its purpose and knows how to keep things simple and, most importantly, how to create repeat customers.

I was more than than impressed with my meal. As a culinary expert, I can say with confidence the garlic toast burger is cooked to perfection no matter your preference, juicy as can be, and flavorful. You will forget you are at a diner. I had to make sure I wasn't actually at a 5 star restaurant. Give them a try. Friendly and knowledgeable staff await you in a full on retro themed cozy setting that makes even the most introverted want to come out of their shell. I had absolutely no issue paying my bill with a smile.

I visited Kira Japanese Steakhouse for lunch with my family, and we had a great experience. My sister and I ordered the shrimp hibachi, while my brother went with the chicken hibachi. The portions were huge, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We also had the Kira sushi, it was good, pretty similar to a store bought one. The starter soup that came with the meal was especially good—light but full of flavor. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Overall, it was an excellent lunch spot, and I’d definitely go back again.

This is our go to for hibachi however it's been awhile and the food wasn't as great. Noodles were cold, rice was a Lil crunchy and chicken was a bit undercooked. The ladies restroom however was horrible.

Food is good, servers are very nice and attentive. Quick service. Wish they could improve the cleanliness. Place is filthy. Food splatters on the wall near booths, rice caked into the grout on floor, floors so dirty there are footprints, bathrooms filthy. Hope the kitchen is clean.

Kira Japanese Steakhouse was a nice surprise to find in Toledo. They offer a variety of menu options from sushi to hibachi. They were quite busy as we dined in on a Saturday evening around 6. The staff were still very friendly and efficient. We only waited 10 mins for a table. The restaurant is split between the grill hibachi area or regular booth dining next to a bar. There is bar seating to wait at while they ready your table. Our waiter was attentive and fast. They offer complimentary soup and salad with your entree which were both delicious. We ordered two sushi rolls and an appetizer and the wait time was maybe 15 mins. Both sushi rolls were fresh and had great flavor. Would definitely recommend the Kira roll. Parking can be tight as the restaurant is located within a strip mall with a Chick Fil A next door. We were still able to find parking nearby even with how busy it was. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

This place I do not recommend at all. I went and they were so rude I won’t say they the guy who was the server everytime I have been here it’s been him and he’s very rude and acts like he hates his job. If you don’t like your job then quit. We don’t deserve that as guest. I had to go to the front just to get a refill of my drink !! No service at all! I won’t be returning !!

Friendly staff. They did well with our large party. All the orders were correct and drinks and other needs were tended to in a timely manner. Hibachi is normally entertaining and this was no exception. They did a great job. LARGE portions and good flavor!

I ordered hot Turkey sandwich. It was absolutely the worst food I have ever ate. The mashed potatoes, I don't know what that was, but they were terrible. They were actually like potato soup. I've had their breakfast there before and it is excellent. But I will never eat there for lunch again.

Had a great breakfast with my parents. Monica sat us and got them their coffee. I had the ham and bean soup with a half order of biscuits and gravy. They had chicken noodle soup, pancakes, eggs and a half chicken salad sandwich. Kacey was an excellent server and the restaurant was very clean and fun. Today was 9/9/2025 and the diner was boomin. Hot food coming out and the turn over is great! My mom had one fluffy pan cake the size of our table, scrambled eggs and a piece of bacon. Spot on perfect. Ok so I was having a really tough day when I decided to stop for a minute and enjoy a peanut butter cup sundae at Mr. Freeze. Great decision. The best part was the hardened chocolate topping and of course, the peanut butter 😋 yummy

From the moment you step up to the window, you're greeted with the warmest smile and genuine friendliness. It's the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular, even if it's your first visit. What truly blew me away was how attentive Lauren was. On our second visit (yes, we went back THAT quickly!), she actually remembered our order! With so many customers, that personal touch is just outstanding and made us feel so valued. But the real reason I'm singing Mr. Freeze's praises from the rooftops is how incredibly careful Lauren was with my children's dye allergies. I mentioned it hesitantly, expecting the usual shrug or vague answer. Instead, Lauren went above and beyond! She didn't just glance at the ingredient list; she actually took the time to thoroughly investigate the different options, pointing out exactly what was safe and what to avoid. She showed such genuine care and concern for my kids' well-being, which as a parent, means the world. It's so rare to find someone who takes allergies this seriously and is so proactive in helping. The ice cream itself is delicious, with a fantastic variety of flavors and perfect creamy texture. But honestly, it's the exceptional service, particularly from Lauren, that elevates Mr. Freeze to a five-star experience. Knowing that we can go somewhere where our kids are not only welcomed but also truly cared for makes all the difference. On a hot summer day, everyone wants to get ice cream. This place had four different windows, which was nice, but sadly our line took an hour before we could reach the window. Other lines were going way faster, so we were confused as to why our line was going so slow. We ordered the salted caramel sundae and a chocolate milkshake. My milkshake was not my favorite but it did the trick. The atmosphere was interesting and even though it took long, the workers were very kind.

Amazing little ice cream shop that has very good soft serve treats. There are lots of varieties of flavors that you can order or you can order from the many choices they have in their menu. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

I wish our Ice cream lasted long enough for a Pic! We moved to ohio a couple years ago down home soft serve spots aren't really a thing. So we were skeptical but Mr. Freeze is now a family favorite. Any time we have visitors from back home Mr. Freeze is a must stop! We love it so much! Ice cream is amazing staff is always pleasant and the prices can't be beat.

Love that they have almond milk but they mess up the orders as many times as they get them right. The wait staff doesn't know that Reese's Pieces are different than pieces of Reese's candy bar and want to argue about it. Happened several times and served the wrong thing. Both products are on the menu. Teach these kids what's on the menu please.

My husband said the cotton candy pieces since you changed them are awful. He wanted me to ask you to bring back the other ones. He said they were like rice crispy cereal kinda. Those weren't as sugary as the newer ones. I always get the topsy turvy, love it! I only wish you would make it in the next sized down cup.

I decided to try to citrus brussel sprouts and mongo tacos on my recent visit. I have a sesame allergy and neither of those items claimed to contain sesame. Immediately after eating, I was plagued by severe pain that lasted 3 days (a typical reaction when I ingest my allergen). I was very disappointed, as the menu never stated that sesame was an ingredient but clearly it got into the dish, whether accidentally or through cross contamination. Having to deal with this allergic reaction ruined my trip and made me never want to return here again.

Delicious good with quality ingredients, some of which the restaurant actually grows. My kids love the bubble tea and the Wiseman bowl is always delicious and fresh!

Bang Bang Tacos was delicious as well Bubble Tea. Location great. Graffiti murals excellent. The staff was lacking very lackluster to say the least.

It's fantastic. I had the Bombay style tacos with tofu, they were spicy and delicious. I highly recommend the tofu. I also had nachos, they were pretty good. They grow most, if not all, their own greens; this place is so cool!

The bang bang tacos are delicious. The creamy wonton is creamy inside with a crunchy shell. I love the cool yogurt sauce.

Service was nice and fast. I loved the vibes, would be a perfect place to study but the chairs are hard AF. Maybe some couches? Also the food was alright, I feel like they need more variety in their menu, felt like I could only order one thing.

It’s a lovely space with lots of food options! We went for the first time and had a great experience! It’s a fast casual place where you order at the counter and sit wherever you’d like! Portion sizes were generous, we had lots to take home! Highly recommend the hummus and tabouli, but we also got the kebab roll and chicken tawook roll. We’ll definitely be back!

I don't even know where to begin with this experience. I mean mouth watering and succulent pieces of chicken and Gyro in a salad with what seemed like some of everything, coupled with a "spicy" tomato dressing (I didn't think it was spicy though) was pure heaven! I also had the Philly Gyro wrap with pita chips, I don't even like pita chips but these, yea, these were perfectly cooked and I believe lightly salted and they exceeded my expectations. I washed it all down with a strawberry and banana smoothie that was absolutely delicious, so yea, this was an amazing experience for me and they've got me hooked!

Stockton for lunch and had the Shish Kavita wrap. Along with a side of garlic. The food was good but I felt was pricey for the quantity. If I were to write it on a scale of 1 to 10 compared to other Mediterranean restaurants it would be average.

Zingos is always fresh and amazing. The staff is always helpful and answers any questions i may have.. I appreciate that there are so many vegetarian options. I highly recommend zingos. Especially their junk salad (i didnt get it today for a switch up).

Zings original gyros are simply the best in the area. All the food is super fresh and so tasty. You really can’t go wrong with anything at Zingos!

A nice healthier option that does not break the bank. Some weird hours of operation I can only assume are related to a college schedule of existing employees. I would recommend. This place is not easy to find, as it is behind the building.

Do not get the cod sandwich! It says it's the best in the land😂 No way! It was so tiny, only half of a half filet, the breading was so hard I couldn't bite down on it, then when I found a soft spot to bite, this little strip of yucky fish came right out of the breading. The filet was maybe 3 inches long & one inch wide. $5.95? I exchanged it for 2 Hotdogs. They should be ashamed to serve that. McDonald's would be a thousand times better for the same price.

I remember that the chili dogs used to be exceptional. I don't know what happened in them 6 years but the chili sauce was very salty. My place was if netty's wasn't open to go to Rudy's for the good chili dogs. Now!! It's gone down hill. 😞

It is a hot dog. I thought since they were so famous that the hotdogs would be exceptional. The Chicago Dog does not follow the true recipe. All are ok good.

Ok so I never thought I would say this! The hot dog sauce and chilli is so bad anymore…. Big chucks of meat and so much gristle ( please got back to the way it was)

Typical old-school diner, very good tasting simple food. Could maybe do with a tiny bit more seasoning, but everything is quite good, and the prices are genuinely amazing for what you get. Very friendly. Recommended.

One rude customer thought it was appropriate to name call and berate the hard working young employees at this Rudys during my visit today on 7/2/25. So, I just wanted to say that the young gentleman in charge there handled it with class as did the young ladies with him. This location always gives great service and has great hot dogs :) The employees were friendly and speedy despite how busy they were.

Nothing over the top good. Food was good but just regular cheap hot dogs, (where are the Vienna dogs) and no bright green relish on the coney dogs.

What can I say? This place has been doing coney dogs and good food since 1927. Brings back lots of good memories there used to be one in Port Clinton when I was a kid and several in Fremont, Ohio thstbare now all closed. The French fries are some of the best I've ever had, and although the decor is outdated, it brings back childhood memories. Very clean and very good food. I always try to stop in here when i'm up this way, highly recommended.

Very warm in the dining area - not sure whether they have air conditioning. All the tables were dirty, it looked like no one had bussed or wiped them for hours. The hot dogs were tiny and boiled, no grilling.

Have always loved the pizza here. Loved the buffet at Lunch time. They did away with it and that was what I always got when I was out and about. I'd order and go pick up a pizza and cheese bread. Great food and the workers are always in a good mood. I like the self serve drink bar. Always affordable food!

I have a question for the owner is it your new policy for dine in people who that have left over pizza to start using plastic container to go? When I leave your place I' m heading to work and I'm not going to be stacking my leftovers on top of one another. If the is true you just lost a long time customer. And you can blame that on your stubborn kitchen help. he keeps saying that to go boxes are now plastic. He did give me a cardboard box but not happy about it. Customer should know this before ordering. This is the third time he tried this on me and all other workers has no problem with giving me the cardboard box. This is why you are getting one 🌟. This happened on Friday. I do love your pizza just not a fan of pizza in a plastic container. Been eating at your place by the mall from about the time you open up that location.

Only have had one iffy experience at this Gino's, all others were 5 star. With quality of chain pizza places going down lately, I feel like I can always come in for a quick pizza at Gino's and its always delicious. Love this place.

#1 word to describe my Gino's experiences over the past six months: DISAPPOINTING. The pizza is consistently good, but the service is consistently terrible. The staff makes it obvious that they do not care about being there, and they seem to have even less regard for their customers. I have grown up with Gino's being a family go-to, but due to far too many bouts of horrible customer service, they have lost me as a customer.

I can't believe that I lived in toledo for almost 2 decades and never tired this place until now. Amazing pizza, spaghetti, breadsticks served with cold marinara, and homemade ice cream sandwiches!!! Absolutely one of the best pizza places I've ever had! It's totally old school delicious. I highly recommend it!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on one of there ALL MEAT pizzas from Gino's!! These are some of the BEST pizzas I have ever tasted! I even brought some back to enjoy since I've moved out of town! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We found this spot while visiting family in Toledo! Let's just say we hit the jackpot for great pizza! Our family was impressed that we found it our first night (open late) before they had a chance to tell us about it!

It is really sad to say it as this was my first ever visit to their establishment, however if I could give my visit zero stars I would. The host did more for us than the server as the servers just stood around in the open on their phones while the hosts did everything, the server was lowkey rude and super emotionless. I DO NOT recommend the steak and eggs whatsoever. This was without a doubt the worst steak I ever had in my life. Everything on the plate was bland, no seasoning whatsoever. The first steak had to be sent back because I order it medium and it came our dry and burnt, the second one was not as dry but just as flavorless and was just absolutely disgusting, almost as if I just got a big piece of fat. Regardless mine nor my guest ate the steak we order. My mother’s steak was bone dry, burnt, flavorless and smelled funny. No remorse, apologies or anything from the staff, no offer to make the food correctly nor comp the steaks that were left untouched. $40 for two meals (half completely untouched because the steak was so horrible, half hardly touched because the toast was burnt and the potatoes and eggs flavorless.) I guess it could be a good option if you like bland food or somewhere who serves old/no good steaks. They also do not offer a nutritional menu and when you ask them about it nobody in the establishment has a clue!

The food is always good there. I normally have good service there. Today multiple servers there, I am a coffee drinker, literally had my empty cup sitting at the edge of the table the whole breakfast, I was trying to get someones attention, seriously they couldn't have avoided me more if they were trying, finally my guest said something to one of the waitresses. NEVER NOT once did the server come to check on us, then when called over I got a refill. It appeared that I interrupted them from their conversation to get a refill, and they weren't happy to be interrupted, no offense, conversation is fine, but so is taking care of a customer.

This place has a sort of retro style to it. Helps that everything tastes good too!

We usually have an amazing experience. The food is so delicious but unfortunately, the hostess was the rudest person I had ever met. She acted like she was too good to even look at us. Our server instead of handing the cup or the card to my husband she slamed it on the table!! All the servers walked around with an attitude. It was really unfortunate, it made the atmosphere feel bothersome. I love the food but I dont think I will ever get to convince my husband to go back there!!!

Good diner with good food and fantastic service. Pancakes are delicious. Mushroom and spinach omlette was decent. Home fries were great. Biscuits were flour heavy. Check out Star Diner IV when you're hungry for diner food and great service.

Nice Diner, quick service early in the morning. The food is consistently good and the waitresses are always nice and speedy with anything you may need.

Prices are outrageous. Got our order and didn't receive the correct fry sizes. Not the end of the world, but aggravating considering the price. They did make it right though. Not sure how a family of four or more can afford to eat here. I would just go eat at a steakhouse for about the same price.

Five Guys is TOO EXPENSIVE!!! I used to go to your restaurant several times a year, and now I’ll visit maybe once a year! A cheeseburger is Almost $12 and the small size cajun fries are overpriced as well. So I’m spending a Whopping $16-17 just for a cheeseburger and fries!!! That’s Way OVERPRICED!!! There are so many other places to go to that have a variety of delicious burgers, fries, and other options that are reasonably priced.

Fries are great especially if you’re gluten free — but the floors were SO slippery? Almost like the mopped with oil? No wet floor signs or anything. I had to walk very slowly.

Ordered a pizza with extra sauce a sauce cup garlic toppings for the crust and a thing of cinnamon bites got no sauce for the cinnamon bites or the pizza sauce or the garlic sauce and the pizza had less sauce then normal this was for delivery called up there and they said to bring it back up because there people don’t miss things. Junior will give me a credit because I was his first upset customer of the day um flabbergasted much.

This is supposed to be a chicken club sub. Not only was it smashed up, barely enough toppings for the bun, but it was also not fully cooked. The bread was still soft except the edges, and the cheese didn't even melt. I called 2 times and got hung up on. The first time i was told the oven was off and then got hung up on after waiting 10 minutes to talk to the manager. So I called back, and the guy picks up and hangs up without saying anything. So we go back up to the restaurant and the guy says he can't do anything about it. He refused to remake my order or refund my money. His reason was the register was off, and the oven was off, even though we could see him through the glass making a pizza. Probably stealing from the company because it was just after 11. The oven was off for you to remake my subs but not for the white dude to make his own big ass pizza. Marcos needs to stop trying to keep it's business in the hood. You get hood workers and customers get low end hood service. This one may be located off the Anthony Wayne trail, but far from what you would think my downtown to Maumee friends. Skip this location.

Driver was very nice! Called to find out about my delivery and the person answering the phone stated they were not taking orders at 7:46 pm. I explained to him I was checking on my delivery and he was very rude. She (driver) explained the long delay was another driver skipping over my delivery. Food was cold (gel line) throughout the pizza and the wings were the worst (slimy). Did not call the store back was over them from the first call! Definitely will never be ordering again!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered 2 pizzas at 9:23pm. At 9:38 I got an email saying it was on its way. At 9:46 I got an email saying it was delivered. I called at 9:50 to say I never received the pizzas and they told me to call back in 20 min if I still did not receive the pizzas. I called back at 10:09 and was placed on hold for 25 min. I hung up and called again. When they picked up the phone I was immediately put on hold. I have now been on hold for another 15 min. THEY CLOSE IN 11 MIN!!! I had my boyfriend call from his phone as well and they said "we're not taking anymore orders and immediately hung up. MARCOS HAS OFFICIALLY STOLEN MY MONEY!!!! I will NEVER order from here again!!! To say I'm pissed is beyond an understatement. Now I have to spend God knows how long dealing with this tomorrow. And based off of the rest of the reviews, I feel a class action lawsuit is in order. Anyone else had their money stolen??? Finally got someone on the phone and they told me to call Doordash. What information am I supposed to give Doordash when I did not order from them?! UPDATE: Currently on hold with Doordash. They told me that Marcos canceled the order at 10:38, therefore, Doordash cannot refund my money because it was never picked up by a Doordash driver. Marcos told us that a Doordash driver picked up our order and that they must have stolen the pizza. So YES, Marcos is literally stealing my money. The manager of this location NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!

We order from Marco’s all the time and usually we have no issues. Tonight I ordered 2 pizzas, cheese bread and a salad. Estimated delivery time was 6:25 My order arrived 6:50 ice cold. My salad was disgusting looking I couldn’t even eat it. Slimy and wilted. Highly disappointed in the hour and a half delivery time and food quality.

Everytime I order here they are very rude! Last time I got my food delivered they put onion on my salad , told me they won’t deliver it and I gave the driver a 20 dollar tip, just to go around the corner.

Pizza was so greasy couldn't eat it then was told they couldn't be remade cause we didn't call that night. We did but no one answered and the following day when we called we were told we had to wait for the main manager to be in. Then when we finally reached that manager he said he wouldn't remake them he can only offer a 10 credit on a 30 order. Will stick to Rugby as they are 1000 times better.

Terrible Experience This was an extremely disappointing dining experience! When we tried to place our order, we approached a white female server (unfortunately, I didn’t get her name). She responded in a tone that sounded a bit aggrieved and disdainful, saying, “I’m not your server, why do you keep coming to me?” Her attitude was incredibly rude and made us feel embarrassed and disrespected, I felt like she is being racist to us, she don’t have that attitude to other customers. We were simply trying to order—why did we deserve such treatment? What’s even more unacceptable is that we found hair in our food twice! And it was in a 8 YEARS OLD KID’S MEAL! Finding it once was already disgusting, but having it happen a second time is beyond unacceptable. I can’t imagine how poor the hygiene standards in this restaurant must be. Bad service, bad attitude, and terrible hygiene. This restaurant is absolutely not worth anyone’s time or money!

Unlike what that other place says, this is the happiest place on earth. The food is excellent, the service is professional and speedy. Our server was very nice and friendly. The food is incomparable. I highly recommend Waffle House to everyone. We had to drive 1 and 1/2 hours to get here and it was worth it.

One thing I love about Waffle House is they are consistent. The food was good. The hash browns are always my favorite. The service is fast and affordable and the food is fresh. I like trying different wake houses in different locations.

I am not kidding when I say my roommate and I came to this Waffle House after a night at the bars, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Every time it was between 2-3 am and the food and coffee hit just right. We’ve both graduated and moved back home but we miss this place. Thank you to the staff that always put up with the drunk folks, y’all don’t get enough credit. Food was good. Price was good. Great place for early morning breakfast. People there were very nice and friendly. Waffle was very tasty but wish it was more crispy. Husband had the burger, said it was delicious.

I was on my way to visit family, and stopped to take them dinner. When I arrived at my destination, I got the food out to serve. I have an attached a copy of the picture of the German potato salad. I was disappointed that anyone would serve this to a paying customer.

We had the perch dinner and it was awesome. Food still very hot when we got home. Four large pieces fish, cole slaw was excellent 👌. Perch is difficult to find anywhere. So I was delighted to see it on the menu. Worth every penny

Honestly shocked at the audacity of Packos charging $17.99 for a "5 perch dinner." Is the perch in the room right now? I know it's a small fish but damn. This was as thin as paper. We ordered 3 dinners and they were all this small. Definitely not worth $18. Highly disappointing.

Uniquely delicious! The staff and management are awesome! Very friendly and welcoming. The food was so flavorful and tasty. The bun was soft and fresh, the chili was fragrant and smoky spicy without being hot. The sausage was cut in half but you still got a little snap when you bit into the dog. I got the standard with mustard and onions and chili. I should've got the cheese, next time! Pickles on the side and epic complimentary pickles bar. Three varieties and pickled jalapenos. Also a variety of mustards and paprikas. The menu is Hungarian comfort food and that's not lost on the atmosphere, even for a quick serve. Best chairs I've sat in. Also plates and the hanging lamps are a nice cozy touch. Wish I had one closer. Like Klinger said, “If you are ever in Toledo, Ohio, Tony Packo’s got the greatest Hungarian hot dogs.”

I've been a fan of M*A*S*H since I was a kid. I just had to go to a Tony Packo's while I was in town. The staff was quite friendly, when I entered. The chicken paprikash was pretty darn good, even for being in a "fast food" type of setting. And of course I got one of those famous hotdogs. I'd like to go to the original someday, but I didn't have time. I'm sure I'll be back.

Call it Pickle Lango or Pickle Bread; I am thrilled it’s back on the menu — along with a few new variations. Excellent!

Oh I love Tony Packos. Gotta get the #1 every time I am in Toledo. Different kind of hot dog joint but well worth it

The macaroni was the worst I've ever had. The nacho's are gas station nachos. If you get more than 1 hot dog they just pour the topping across all of them, getting the buns soaked. Their chili, if it is really homemade, is incredibly greasy. When you get cheese on your hot dog, it's shredded cheese. Uhhh... I got an egg salad sandwich and it was okay but tasted more like coleslaw than egg salad. It was super creamy and had lettuce and tomato which I do like, but it had no egg taste. It was just like creamy like coleslaw though. Still not bad though, but definitely not your typical egg salad sandwich.

I order food from this restaurant via doordash. I order a gyros no lettuce, I got lettuce on my sandwich. I got a order chili cheese fries, the fries left a after taste in my mouth, the chili need some improvement. I order a double hamburger no mustard, I got a double cheeseburger with mustard only.

The drive thru workers here might not sound like the most welcoming employees, but my orders have always been correct. I've been eating these chili dogs for years. I've went around northwest Ohio and tried chili dogs from all the popular chili dog/hot dog locations. Rudy's chili dogs are by far superior. If you've never been here, I highly recommend a visit if you love chili dogs and onion rings. I've always gotten the chili dogs with everything on them. I'm not sure what comes on the chili dogs if you don't ask for everything on them. Maybe they're the same. Don't mind the grease. There is just enough grease in the chili dogs to help them slide down to your stomach without worrying about choking.

Food and service were both mediocre. The hot dogs and sauce are rather bland. Fries were nothing to write home about either. Not much that made the meal or the experience stand out or make me want to go back.

Fries were great! Tasted like old style, no frills French fries! The coney dogs were also pretty great! The service was odd. I went through the drivethru and it seemed pretty clear it was only one person making food and the guy at the window. The guy at the window seemed a little frazzled with having to write down orders and then ring them as the car pulled up at the window. My food was made and bagged pretty fast, but it sat there for a few mins before he realized it was ready to hand out to me. Despite that, I’d definitely come back.

When i visit Toledo we always eat here, best chili ever and dogs are amazing i love the diner type atmosphere and people are friendly!!!

We met for small family reunion on a Saturday afternoon..7/19/2025. We arrived at 3:20, and received our food about 3:50 on a Saturday afternoon. Our hotdogs and fries were undercooked. There was one cook and a weird guy who wouldn't make eye contact. We spent about $12.00 per person for a dog, fries and a drink. At 4:00 we were told the dining room was closed and we had to toss the rest of our food and leave.

Clean place, simple yet delightful menu, and spectacular service! Great location in hipster infested South Toledo so feels so safe and quaint around there to bring the family. Well done Mayberry!

Great Staff, a regular staple for my family and I. They have good food, and good coffee. They rotate specials and have a decent menu. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered breakfast the 1095 meal., scrambled eggs, sausage, links, fried potatoes.Toast.. The toast was cold and hard with melted butter on it. The scrambled eggs we're mushy, like they were milk carton scramblers. The fried potatoes looked good. It had a real bad funky, taste even loaded in ketchup, couldn't cover up the bad taste... The sausage links was just nasty. Bacon, hard and very thick. The waitress didn't even question why most of my food was still sitting on the plate, she just said, have a good day and threw the bill at me. She wasn't even interested why I didn't eat my food? Therefore I had to pay for it But there was no tip. And I will not be returning, nor will my company. They agreed about the food.

Currently enjoying a chicken skillet here. The portions are great. My go to is the California skillet, but I figured, let's break up the norm. If I knew these skillet dishes were this size years ago, I would have been here during my bodybuilding/ powerlifting days 💪🏾. The waitresses are pleasant to all of the customers, also. Keep up the good work 👍🏾.

Very good! The pancakes are huge (compared to a water bottle to show) and so yummy. They’re like all the perfection of French toast and pancakes in one. They’re eggy, fluffy, and not super sweet so that when you mix them with syrup and butter, there’s a distinct feeling of being transported to a simpler time. The fries were okay, a bit over cooked (the photo is not the full portion, about 2/3rds of it) but still, the bitterness was nice compared to the weight of a pancake. All in all though, I would come here again, and I recommend everyone to give this place a chance.

We live out of town and go to star when we visit toledo. We love their food. Waitresses are always friendly. Not bad on the prices. I love their home fries with shredded cheese!

Had a wonderful breakfast today with a friend. He had the French Toast special & loved it. I enjoyed a fluffy waffle with genuine Maple syrup. It also was delicious. Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive and engaging. Sadly I forgot my phone in the car, so no photos this time.

the food was eh.. my steak didn’t taste like anything, had no flavor whatsoever.. which is sad i was happy for my steak and eggs but just tasted bad..

Food was ok, service was a bit short. No one took the time to talk more than a short "what would u like" food was dropped off and walked off. They weren't busy either. And that's what you pay for is a little hospitality..

They're very busy here, which is usually a good sign. The guy behind the counter did an excellent job of juggling answering the phone & prepping the food. At 12 o'clock he got some backup to help him. There was a lot of steak in my shwarma wrap - yum. I loved the pickled turnip and cucumber & also the fresh tomatoes and tahini sauce. It was overall an excellent wrap. I would suggest ordering in advance - because they're very busy.

Never been disappointed with a meal here.I had the kafta wrap with fries ,and a side of hummus today. Tasty, and filling. Best value here is the fattouch.

We stopped at Shawarmaholic in Toledo, Ohio. We got a mixed platter with hummus and rice, and a chicken kabob platter with rice and fries. You get to choose two sides (fries, rice, coleslaw, or hummus for an extra dollar). You also get to choose one sauce (garlic, tahini, or tzatziki). We got the garlic sauce which was really good. Rice made up less than a quarter of the plate. They gave a LOT of meat. Some people may like this as you can take it home and eat it with bread or rice. It also comes with fresh veggies, pickles, and pita. I think it would have been better if there was more rice to eat the meat with as I mainly used the pita for my hummus, and barely had any rice left for the meat. In my opinion, the chicken kabob was better than the mixed shawarma which tasted dry and didn’t seem too fresh.

Love it. The grocery, spices, hooka supplies,fresh meat from butcher, baking needs and baked goods plus we got a meal. I had the chicken schwarma and he had the beef kabobs. Yummy. I got some spices, herbs, and Turkish delight. Shared it with my parents who loved it. Next time I'll get baklava.

it’s a big disappointment , I got a chicken shawarma and it was so dry ( maybe old chicken) he only put garlic sauce in it and it was wayyyy so much and No flavor , and I got a beef shawarma as well and it was different and NO flavor and then i got a falafel and it was so greasy and dry as well and NO flavor , and the worst thing is the hummus it was kinda watery and it tasted bad (actually it’s bad ) . And when it comes to shawarma it has to be shaved not chopped on the flat grill 🫢

I have tried many shawarma places in toledo and Shawarmaholic is hands down the best one. The flavor of the chicken and beef shawarma is amazing and different from the others! On top of that the quantity of food you get for the price is unbelievable. Highly recommend this place.

We went to the place at 9:22pm to Oder the food. The girl on cashier told us the restaurant is closed. But when we did called. She told us they take last order at 9:30pm. Then she took our orders. But her face a was oval with full of attitude. She didn’t even told us Thank YOU. She was so grumpy in face. After the food was done she toss it on counter. Didn’t say thank you or anything. I just felt like I shouldn’t have gone there. Because I didn’t feel welcome!! I paid for bad attitude! Store close at 10pm.

I hope you’re not coming here hungry or expecting to get your food quickly. I went through the drive-through and ended up waiting for a long time. Afterward, I decided to go inside, but the wait continued. In fact, I’m writing this review while still waiting in line since I have plenty of time to do so. They really need to shut down, let go of everyone, and start fresh. The workers seem completely disengaged, just staring at us and ignoring our presence. It’s a horrible experience, and I wish I could rate it less than one star.

They have no front order screen. Employees are unable to fulfill orders accurately and timely due to the lack of proper facilities. They have their receipts scattered all over the counter. The poor service was not attributed to the performance of the employees, and they actually perform very well considering their work environment, but they have many returning customers due to the inability to track orders accurately. Ways to fix the issue: Purchase a 17 dollar receipt holder to track orders, picture attached. Or install a proper order screen as is standard at other locations.

This place horrible and unsanitary. I had to use the woman’s restroom because the men’s didn’t work. Trash all over the floor the food was not good at all cold chicken. I mean this is the health departments biggest nightmare. You have food all over the floor and people not wearing gloves.

The girl who works the window at night is the absolute slowest and worst order taker here. We sit in the drive through line for at least 10 to 15 minutes every time we come here. The food is absolutely amazing and always perfect but this girl who is there at night makes us want to go to any other location. Update : it took an hour to get our food from the time we pulled up to the speaker until the time we got our food which was wrong. We not given our fries or biscuits and we ordered boneless chunks and were given bone in wings

Stopped into Popeyes and waited in the dining room for about 20 minutes. There were only 3 people ahead of us, and in that entire time, only one person was able to place an order. No one acknowledged us or really helped anyone. Staff looked overwhelmed and disorganized. The place was dirty, tables weren’t cleaned, floors were sticky, and the drink station was a mess. We ended up leaving without ordering. Horrible service and poor cleanliness. Won’t be back.

The food was good, but the service was poor, at least for us. First off, we waited 5 minutes before they took our drive-thru order, and then we had to move forward since our food wasn't ready. Then, after 20 minutes, based on the time posted on receipt, we got our food. Plus, while waiting for our food, we had 6 cars or more get their food and go around us. Once we got our food, we never got a sorry for the delay. This happened at 11 pm, and no one was in the restaurant at that time since we could see the dining area while waiting for our food.

The chicken was overcooked and hard as a rock. We ordered strawberry pies and got apple pies instead. We turned around and got the correct order without any issues. The sign reads 2.99 for 2, but was charged at the regular price i think 1.89 each. I let management know that they need to correct their signage or pos system. Not a huge deal since it's less than a dollar and we ended up with more pies anyway.

Delicious food quick order time the only reason I four stared the atmosphere is because I don't use a bar this Fuzzy's location is awesome. Very professional appearance on the outside as well on the inside. Thank you

UPDATE: June 10,2024 I was invited back by a manager and this time the food was more successful. The Fuzzy Rice was cooked well and had good flavor, the chicken tacos were also good and the chicken enchilada with green sauce was my favorite item. The potatoes again were cooked well but in severe need of salt. Once I added salt they were quite good but do have onions in them, which I didn’t realize until I started eating them. The staff was again pleasant and helpful. Overall, much improved and I will definitely go back. So I updated my rating. Original visit May 23, 2024 - Went today for the first time to try the food. No one was at the front but after a minute someone came up to take my order. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. I got the food to go and brought it back to work. I liked the way everything was packaged, the main entree and sides were in a partitioned styrofoam container that was placed in a grocery bag in case of leaks. The hard taco was wrapped in foil separately to prevent softening of the taco shell. I got the Combo Plate with a Crispy taco and an Enchilada (both shredded chicken) with 2 sides. Fuzzy’s Rice (their take on mexican/spanish rice) and Latin Fried Potatoes (similar to Taco Bell’s potatoes but not greasy). The food was not great. The rice was severely undercooked and crunchy, I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. The flavor was good but the texture was awful. The potatoes were bland. They were cooked well but very tasteless. The Crispy Taco had great flavor however the “Shredded” chicken was barely shredded. As I was eating the taco, huge clumps of chicken would stick together and made it difficult to eat. Finally, the Enchilada also had a good flavor, but when I first opened the container, there were pieces of cooked ground beef on top of it. At first I thought they gave me the wrong order but when I cut into the enchilada it was shredded chicken. Overall, the taste of the rice, taco and enchilada were good. It was the cooking and plating that was not done properly. I am willing to try it again because I can see that it could be really good food. But I definitely feel like I paid too much money for subpar food.

In town for a work trip and was excited to try something new. But there were bones in my cod taco, couldn’t eat it which was super disappointing. The grilled chicken taco was okay but not great. Flavor wasn’t there and honestly I’ve made better tacos at home. I won’t be back

Wife and I split a meal. Two ground beef tacos, refried beans and latin fried potatoes. Everything was very good, hot and fresh. Just enough food to split.

Delicious tacos. My only gripe was the chips and queso doesn't specify tomatoes and onions. The butt burner sauce is top tier.

waited over 10 minutes a front counter waiting to order, the employees walked by but nobody bothered to provide any service. The place was not busy and by the time I gave up there was a line of three more people waiting. There are plenty of fast food places around that will provide way better service. Never going back to this hole again,

First time here and got to experience some seriously amazing shrimp tacos! Other's in my group got the nachos which also looked amazing. Do yourself a favor and get the Oreo Churros. You will not be disappointed. I'm already looking forward to my second visit!!

Ordered for carry out. First thing I noticed was a dead fly in the lettuce when I got home. Makes you wonder how the food is kept and if there is an infestation at this establishment. Ended up chucking the meal in the trash. Not going back here.

Placed an order via app on Monday, Nov. 4th, 2024, and we picked up around 5:30 PM. We ordered two bowls, one had a big fly (still moving/alive!) in the middle/on top of the lettuce upon opening the cover and one had missing item (side of guacamole). My wife went back immediately and spoke with Travis M. He stated that since it's an app order, we would have to resolve it through app and/or contact customer service. He was not rude, but not professional either. Obviously we no longer feel safe/sanitary to eat at this location, and thought Travis would take both bowls back and dispose of it, but instead he showed my wife where the trash bins are and instructed her to toss it in there. I called their customer service, and the best the CS was able to offer was refund 'only' on the affected bowl (the one that had fly in it) and free side of guac OR meal vouchers for the two bowls, my expectation was full refund as I did not touch the bowls at all. I explained to the CS if you had fly in your bowl, would you go back to the same place and try/eat again, he would not answer that question. They also need to train their personnel to better prepare for this type of situation – either offer to remake the orders (if the customer still feel comfortable eating there) or issue full refund, and not have to go to different channel. They not only lose one customer, but at least 50 as I'll be spreading the words to stay away from this location (or Chipotle in general) for the health being of my family and friends. EDIT: (Nov. 7, 2024) this is in response to Chipotle's reply - my review clearly stated that I've already contacted CS and the result was unsatisfactory. I also submitted an inquiry online to report the issue, but no next steps whatsoever from Chipotle.

Ordered door dash from this location and it arrived with no meat, I decided to go and get what my fiancée ordered from door dash originally just to find out they didn’t have steak which is why I’m assuming they sent it with no meat and just cheese. The employees were rude when trying to get what I had ordered, and still charged me after I described my situation.

Order not prepared appropriately by Chipotle on Talmadge Rd Toledo OH. On 6/15 my family ordered 3 bowls & all three were missing ingredients. Bowls were not even prepared above the inner line of the bowl. One bowl was supposed to have double steak and paid $21 for that bowl. These bowls were ordered ahead at 8:55pm & were delivered by uber eats driver. The driver did great but we cannot say the same for Chipotle staff. We paid $55 for these three bowls. Absolutely terrible Father’s Day dinner. Can’t even get this fixed tonight.

I absolutely love this chipotle and they are very good and you can tell it is fresh and good quality. However, I just had an incident today where I was on my way home from work and I used my DoorDash app to do a pick up order and I arrived at the chipotle and they told me that they did not have my order. But then they found out it was in the system, but that they had finished it, and someone had stolen it off the shelf and they had to remake it for me. That is a shame…. What is wrong with people? They need to have a better security team on that and to always make sure someone is watching that shelf so someone else’s food does not get stolen.

Horrible experience from the disrespectful employees at this location. Very few customers, not busy. They had the entire line out cleaning the bottom portion 45 mins before close. Missed getting what ingredients I wanted because i was rushed, what I did receive they were smaller portions than im use to. I believe this was a punishment because of this follow altercation. During the process I was asked what I wanted before the employee even had the bowl in their hand, rapid fire style. Asking me rice, beans, protein, queso. Then proceeded to ask again for each individual think. I said "why ask if you aren't going to remember" I was immediately confronted with confrontational anger and loud words calling me a smart ass. The employee proceeded to throw my bowl aside and demanded someone else finish, which no one would. A manager from the back had to come up from the back to finish my bowl with the most condescending attitude. Ask for extra lettuce, he said "this is a bowl not a salad". I forgot getting sour cream because it wasn't where it was supposed to be and also wasn't asked. I did contacted the corporate website and wasn't offered a replacement. Just a generic apologize. I will for surely not return to a chipotle for a long while, if at all again.

On September 6th around 5:40 pm, I visited this Chipotle. The food itself was good and prepared well, but what stood out most during my visit was the behavior of the manager on duty. Instead of supporting the employees and creating a positive environment, the manager was being rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. There were multiple moments that were very concerning. One worker was left to handle the entire line by himself, doing his best to keep up with the rush of customers. Instead of stepping in to assist, the manager was standing off to the side, casually talking to friends who had come in to visit. This showed a complete lack of leadership and left the worker struggling unnecessarily. In addition, I witnessed another situation with an employee who was working hard on online orders. She was clearly overwhelmed, and rather than offering help or guidance, the manager yelled at her in a harsh and degrading way. It was completely inappropriate and very uncomfortable to watch. As a customer, I found the whole situation embarrassing and disappointing, because no employee deserves to be treated that way—especially in front of others. Customers notice how managers treat their staff. A strong manager should lead by example, support their employees, and step in to help when things get busy. What I saw was the opposite: a manager ignoring their responsibilities, disrespecting employees, and choosing to socialize instead of doing their job. The workers themselves were not the issue—they were working hard under pressure. The problem is clearly with management. I truly hope leadership at this location takes this feedback seriously. Employees deserve to feel supported and respected in their workplace, not ignored or belittled. Customers deserve to walk into a restaurant where the environment reflects professionalism and teamwork. If changes are not made, this type of management will continue to harm both staff morale and the customer experience.

Well….usually I don’t have a problem with this location but as I called to place my order this time there was extremely loud music playing, the employee on the phone could hardly hear but didn’t care to turn the music down I had to repeat my order 3 times and made sure I had him repeat my order. I’m not sure if he just repeated what I said and didn’t put what he repeated back to me but what I ordered was a super special no ham no mushroom, what I got was a LOADED jet 10 pizza. When I called the store to tell them the order was wrong after I specifically had the young man read it back to me I talked to Mike! The manager… very argumentative, very much bringing the place down.. probably shouldn’t be doing drugs at work that’s for sure! It would be nice to see the workers take all of their piercings out and hair nets on if not hats on when making my and others food! Overall had a terrible experience with the manager and communication after the fact of having my order repeated to me and repeating it myself 3 times. Jets pizza as a corporation is being disserviced. The sad part it used to be my favorite place to order pizza from! Do better….

I was overly impressed with everything from the fast delivery and the food......WOW!!!!! Thick crispy crust on the pizza was spectacular!!!!! Fold over Italian was okay. Delivery driver followed my specific directions precisely also!!!! Definitely ordering pizza from them from now on!!!! Great job to all of you 😁♥️

I tried to order over the phone 3 different times and the guy that answered the phone should not be allowed to take calls. When I explained what I wanted he kept on saying green pepper when I never even said green pepper. Each time on different calls he screwed up. So I ended up ordering from Domino's. So just on account of this guy being incompetent jets lost my business.

I absolutely love this place. You can get two pulled pork sandwiches for $3! And they have that lemonade like you get at a fair, the kinds made with real lemons. The only reason I gave it a four star is because they are not open on Saturdays or sundays. Especially saturdays. I work Monday through Friday and Maumee so getting down there during the week is difficult! Oh my God I forgot to mention the ribbon fries!!!! What's better between the lemonade and the ribbon fries. Note, this is a drive-thru restaurant only

This lil place is a true gem! So many selections, but I've only tried the ribs and the funnel fries. The ribs are saucy and fall off the bone tender. Absolutely delicious.

Hey I remember when times first opened back in the day but since I've been back in Toledo I went up there actually today and I was trying to figure out where I really wanted to eat today so I went up to Tom's I got me a nice half a slab a half a slab of real with a side of potato salad I don't drink soda or anything so I just got me a water with it it was beautiful the thing about the food is don't really try to save it for later if you want to get the full experience make sure you eat your time as soon as you get it if you eat it as soon as you get it I'm talking about is succulent. The young lady that was at the window that took my order actually both of the young ladies the one that took my order and the other young lady that was back there and the guy that was in the back that was preparing the food I mean they didn't get irritated or anything I asked him a thousand questions and they didn't get irritated or anything they treated me really good and I really appreciate good customer service when I go out so that's a plus plus for them stop by Tom's I went down there and looked kind of dry don't leave toms out stop by check them out it's summertime go get your rib they got a beautiful menu and I remember that I got water I like to drink water so I got water today but I do remember they had some of the best lemonade don't sleep on them check them out! Oh and by the way the half a slab with the side is well worth the money it was only about $15 you got a nice thick juicy succulent slab of ribs with a potato salad you get to choose your own side too I got potato salad today, enjoy 🔥

When I think about ordering pizza, Jet's on Monroe St. has been my go-to for years, and THIS location is the one I will always call. The service is top tier. It starts off with a welcoming tone, I never feel rushed or like they don't have time to take my order. Honestly, the customer service has NEVER been anything other than superb, and I'm a hard sell on that. The quality and freshness is also excellent and why I keep coming back. Our delivery is fast, and handled with care. If you want amazing customer service, fresh, hot, delicious pizza, Jet's on Monroe St. Is where it is at! Well done 💜

Greeted at the door right away very friendly staff. Took less than 5 minutes to order and the food came out quickly as well. We got the Detroit style pizza, and cheesy bread . Everything was terrific. They have some of the best ranch dressing they make daily. You can buy bottles of it which we did its that good. Great place would definitely go back

Simply put, there is no better pizza in Toledo. The Jet's bread and Detroit style pizza is the way to go but the other bread options are equally incredible.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I've never found anything in the realm of their hot jumbo chillimac. Never had anything bad here. Would recommend.

The best chili Mac I have ever had. The chili is just all over hands down delicious. I love the service and the generosity of the staff.

Classic greasy spoon diner feel. Chili dogs are right up there with Rudy’s for best in the city, and their chili mac blows Rudy’s away. You can’t go wrong at Ideal. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the service is personable and quick.

Chili Mac is the best however omelettes are also fantastic. I had a Western one with ham and onions added to the potatoes...So satisfying. Sometimes I choose a bowl of soup (both chicken noodle and beef vegetable are hearty) and a grilled cheese on rye. Great comfort lunch or dinner.

I don't get here very often, even though I have been coming here since the 80's. The chili-mac, in my opinion, was the best in Toledo and may very well be today. Fast forward to my most recent visit: I was there and had a couple chili-dogs. They were a mere shadow of the chili-dogs of yester-year. My waitress was a sweetheart and asked if my food was good. I responded, it's ok. She did a great job and asked again, what was wrong. I told her I didn't want to complain, but showed her the chili-dogs and said there is not much there. She agreed and said she would take care of it. 5 min. later, she returned with a condiment cup of chili sauce. I thanked her, finished eating, and walked up to pay. Here is where the actual problem begins. The cash register jockey asked, how was everything? I responded, it was ok. He responded, why was it just ok? I said, it wasn't like the old days where your chili-dog was smothered in sauce. And before I could finish my comment, he rudely interrupted me, spoke over me, and told me he doesn't want to hear any crap about the old days. If he had respected me as his customer and listened to the 2nd half of my comment, he would have heard me compliment the food and say that I would gladly pay more to have the hotdogs dressed with a lot of chilisauce like the old days. But, he and register jockey #2 tag-teamed me. They tried to put me in my place by saying it was a mistake, and they rectified it. (a condiment cup you would put ketchup, or salad dressing in) Not once did they ask if I felt it was rectified. I tried one last time to tell them what I was originally going to say, but he very loudly said, "have a good day!" and turned his back to me. I responded, "smile a little". I gave my nice waitress her tip, thanked her, and walked out. I will NEVER return!

Used to come here as a kid. Just visited after not being in the area for 30 years. Still the same delicious chili Mac. We get the jumbo, regular or spicy with cheese and onions. Incredible value. Good service. A Toledo tradition!
