I stopped in with a friend and her son, and we all left so happy. The coffee was perfect—rich, smooth, and just the right temperature. I’m a bit of a coffee snob, and this was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The pastries? Incredible. There’s always a great variety, and you can tell they’re made with care—fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. I had a scone this time, and it was just the right balance of crisp outside and soft inside. My friend’s son devoured his muffin in about 30 seconds, so I think that says something too! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it’s just one of those places that makes you want to linger. Can’t wait to come back!

Very delicious food! The coffee is superb, and has an excellent flavor that can be detected even through a latte. Also, they possess a delicious array of bakery items. A very neat atmosphere they have curated, one that does not disappoint!

The food, staff, and warn, welcoming vibe make it our favorite place to go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or just a cup of coffee with one of their amazing bakery items ( the scones are notorious for being THE BEST in the state )

Good coffee , didn't eat at BH, we did however wait about 20 minutes for 1 dirty chai and 1 iced latte. And they weren't that busy. I'd give a better rating but the meh service was the downer.

While traveling, I stopped here because I’d heard only great things from the locals. I arrived unsure of what to order and after a few quick questions from the girl at the register my order was in. (Very very friendly and helpful!)The cold brew was on point and deliciously bitter with a dollop of sweetness, the beef and horseradish panini was perfectly filling and stuffed with flavor. For dessert I ended with an espresso brownie. (Yum) 10:10 all around I will be back! Atmosphere was calm and cool which I appreciated against the scorching heat outside. This place is a true gem. The one thing I would have loved to see was merch for the location itself!

We just came in for coffee. Got some of the medium drip. It was smooth and very good. We also got an almond bar. My friend found it medium sweet. I found it to be overpowering but I don't like sweets that much. The barista was very friendly. Chairs are comfy and there is a lot of seating. Music wasn't too loud in the morning felt very relaxing. There is also outside seating. Looks like a stage as well for events. Nice and relaxing place to have coffee.

Stopped for some coffees. Got a cold brew with frozen cold foam and a lemon bar. Everything was delicious. We were traveling with pets so the outdoor seating was perfect for us and we were able to walk over to the water right after that.

The vegan panini is delicious, and the kettle chips are tasty. Both the mixed berry and orange smoothies are yummy - not too sweet, not too tart. A must when in town. Parking is usually easy to find near the front. Decent atmosphere with friendly staff.

My iced breve mocha was amazing, but I got the wrong sandwich. The ham egg and cheese w avocado was yummy, but I was looking forward to that spicy Italian on sourdough. I was driving and too far away to be worth going back when I noticed. I used the drive through this time because I was rushing though I usually go inside. I like the vibe in there and everything always looks so delicious!

Food was decent, and they had plenty of room for people to spread out if they wanted to. I had the chicken olive sandwich which was fairly one dimensional because the only real flavor in the sandwich was olive. My wife had a sandwich with steak on it would she said was a little bit stringy but otherwise tasted good. I would like to go back and try something different because I feel I would be able to find a sandwich that I enjoyed.

This coffee shop is nice. They've got a big space and multiple areas to tuck away in, with a meeting room in the back. The coffee was pretty decent, and I had an almond bar which was actually quite good. The service was very slow, which was kind of annoying.

We stopped in for breakfast. We were seated by a nice young man. Our waiter came to the table and brought waters and silverware. We placed our food order and requested that he bring me a new glass of water as the glass he gave me still had lipstick on it. He looked at the glass and said " what the heck". Waited for my glass of water and never came back with it. He then brought our food to us and told me he was still waiting on my pancakes and would be right back with them. 15 minutes later and my meal finished he brings them and says sorry for the delay. Of course by this time I was done eating and told him it was unacceptable as he never once came back to the dining room during service. He had 2 tables that he was responsible for! 2! And couldn't get it right for either. We asked for a discount as I felt I shouldn't have to pay for bad service. That took another 10 minutes and the "manager" never apologized or acknowledged the fact there was an error. Gave us $2 off..wow! No concern for service standards or lack of! Certain will not be going back!!! The place could use a good cleaning as well.

After a night of spicy drinks I made my way into Winona's Family Restaurant. I entered the building picking up the sent of an old smoker section that once was. The staff was pleasant. It was fairly empty on a Saturday morning. I would describe this restaurant as middle of the road in all aspects. I had the 2+2+2 Pancake breakfast, 2 pancakes + 2 eggs sunny side up + 2 sausage patties, and I tried several of my friends food. It was very plain, nothing special. This food is made to be eaten and not enjoyed. The amount of food per dollar was okay, not necessarily the best calorie per dollar. I think most people could finish their meal and have no leftovers or very little. What I describe above makes it sound bad. I wouldn't say bad, if you are someone who eats because it is a human requirement. You will enjoy the food, like several of my friends had. If you just need a medium to have coffee and chat with a friend or maybe have picky kids, this would be a good establishement to serve you breakfast.

Was in town visiting my daughter of the Labor Day weekend. We stopped in around 11:30am for lunch. When we walked in we were not greeted, started to look for our own table when the host noticed and decided to do his job. Our server was super friendly…that was the only positive part of the visit. There were 5 of us, 3 ordered side salads with our meals and the same 3 had shrimp. 2 shrimp stir fry and 1 butterfly shrimp dinner. The salads came out drenched with water and my mom’s had a metal string from a scrubby in it!! Thank God she seen it before eating that bite! When our meals came out, the stir fry was made with shrimp that had the tails on still…weird! But the biggest shock was when the butterfly fried shrimp dinner came out with cold, tail on cocktail shrimp. Yuck!!! When we raised our concerns…we initially were told we’d be compensated $1.49….WHAT?! I asked to talk with a supervisor or manager and was told that they were on break…at 12:15pm…during that bulk of lunch service. They took my number and said that the supervisor or manager would call…never called. Also weird from the visit…the guy working the dishroom was running around with plastic grocery bags tied to his feet…it was the oddest thing and I’m sure incredibly slippery and unsafe. 2 days passed without a call so I tried calling them. It was Thursday morning at about 8:30. Asked to talk with a manager or the owner…was told they weren’t there. They then asked for my phone number so that they could have them call when they got it. I said they already have it and didn’t call. I asked if I could get the owner’s contact information and I was told no as they didn’t have it. I’ve since contacted MDH to report my concerns. Being a licensed food service manager in the state, I know what is acceptable and what isn’t and this place is a giant lawsuit waiting to happen. We will never go back and I encourage you to consider an alternative option as well!

My wife and I had breakfast there before climbing a bluff. People were friendly, and the service was excellent! If you can remember the big old style breakfasts, not only filling but was cooked to perfection.

My wife and had breakfast for the first time at this restaurant. It was a weekday morning. I joked with my wife that "this must be a great place to eat" because of the number of white haired seniors that were already seated. We ordered from the senior menu. My wife ordered an omelet with hash browns, and I ordered a combo breakfast that included waffles. When my order arrived, my wife noticed the shocked expression on my face. The waffles were terribly undersized...less than 3 inches in diameter. My wife's hashbrown portion was also undesized, and cold. I should have informed our waitress that our breakfasts were NOT ordered from the Kids Menu, but we left, never to return again. Lesson learned: take time to read the reviews BEFORE you visit.

Outstanding breakfast - laid back atmosphere - and terrific service! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was 10/10. We came for breakfast with a group of 8 and we’re quickly sat and promptly served. I’d recommend them for anyone and anyone with kids. The prices were very affordable as well!

Don't sleep on the best breakfast in Winona! Try their breakfast sandwich on english muffin! So delicious and buttery, we eat them at least once a week! I only wish they had a turkey bacon option and a menu posted online. Regardless, this is the best breakfast you'll find here! Better than fast food and much more affordable! Edit: Decided to try their lunches after reading reviews here. WOW! Fantastic portions made with quality ingredients. Everything tasted homemade. Beer cheddar soup was the best I've ever had! The chocolate chip cookie was delicious! The best breakfasts AND lunches! <3

AMAZING breakfast burritos! Be prepared to have 2 meals, because they are monsters! The fresh bread was also delicious. So glad we stopped on our way back to Ohio.

This was by far the best dining experience I have had in a very long time. The breakfast burrito puts Chipotle burritos to shame. Very flavorful, fresh ingredients, and turned my whole day around. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met, it was my first time dining here but it will definitely not be my last. If you haven’t tried their fresh baked bread, you are missing out. Can’t wait to bring my parents and son here, they will absolutely love it and I think y’all would too.

Jen and her team always do an incredible job. We use them frequently for corporate lunches, and I stop in from time to time for one of their famous Breakfast Burritos. Best breakfast burrito in town, hands down! They also will make most sandwiches into a salad, and I love their Club Salad! I can't recommend them enough. These folks work HARD and do a great job. Came in at 8 am and the workers service was phenomenal I believe her name was Jen. My order was the Winona burrito and added jalapeños to it. And it was amazing great customer service every time I get the chance to go there !!

Seems pricy for a bland sandwich on bread that could have come from Walmart. Service was good, but the sandwich left a lot to be desired.

My husband and I stopped in while in town for a wedding. We were picking the sandwich up to eat later while getting ready. It was seriously the best sandwich I had ever had. The bread was so soft and everything tasted so fresh. The couple that served us (I am assuming the owners) were so sweet and helpful when deciding what to order. They had super cute tiny ducks and dinosaurs all over and when we got to talking they even offered one to us to take back home to our daughter. Sweet people and delicious food! Will definitely be back when we are back in town.

My mom and I tried this place for lunch yesterday. We both absolutely loved everything we ordered. The fried artichokes are especially delicious. It is surprising affordable for the portions. I'd drive to visit this place again to try different dishes.

I liked it so much for lunch I came back for dinner. The porcheta and Fagioli soups were wonderful and really about the bread. I also came back and enjoyed the fresh carbonara, the artichoke was heavy and too rosemary forward. Almost off putting. The only reasonit didn’t score higher was the bread I was sold was crusty and old and I had been told that it was made in the morning and later in the day it dries out. That’s great but if it isn’t good don’t sell it to me or at least let me decide. Not cool.

Passing through town and stopped here for a quick bite. Order at the counter and they brought the food out. My wife had Buttered Noodles and added chicken. I had a Prosciutto sandwich. Everything was fine, but nothing that would make us want to stop again.

Great little spot for our espresso and breakfast pastry. The latte was great and temped just right. I was pleased with the croissants that I ordered one plain the other chocolate. Airy and flavourful! The service was friendly and polite. I will return for the pasta one day soon!

Main dining room is permanently closed. We didn't find out about that until we arrived. I called ahead for reservations and didn't realize we would be sitting in the cafe. It was okay - atmosphere was fine, service was good and food was terrific. I had the regular Alfredo with chicken added. It was delicious! Also tried the Greek salad and had chocolate gelato for dessert. I would return and would like to try some of their pastries next time They looked fabulous!

My new favorite lunch spot! Food was delicious, staff was delightful! Clean, comfy, sunny…we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had! Bread was especially delicious, great Brussels sprouts, yummy soups and sandwiches!

Found this place randomly passing through Winona. The bartender Josh was awesome. The burgers are great - hand cut in house fries were nice and crispy. Will definitely be back.

Had heard good things about the food at this place, but my first experience was a big disappointment. Paid over $40 for two chicken tenders baskets and one order of cheese curds. The home cut fries were dark brown and soggy, they tasted like old burnt oil and seemed to be cooked at too low of a temperature. Chicken tenders were crispy, but the breading on them also tasted like old burnt oil. Cheese Curds were ok, but nothing special, and the portion size of the curds was not worth the price.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Great burgers, great drinks. The owners are very nice and actually show face and work there alongside the employees.

I came in to pick up Dessert and the service was very horrible.The waitress was rude.She didn't offer me a bag for my to go.Items?And she didn't even speak and say anything after I left her a decent tip. I observe that she might be young. But I mean, come on after a long night of work, I come in just to get dessert and i'm treated like trash. I'm not sure if it was because of my skin color or if she was just having the off night regardless terrible service.

My daughter requested Perkins for brunch and we were not disappointed. Lovely staff, amazing food, and bringing home some Peanut Butter Silk pie to enjoy later. Highly recommend stopping in!

I went to Anacabe’s yesterday with a friend from town, and I was blown away. It’s one of those places you might overlook if you didn’t know better, but once you’ve been, you realize what a gem it really is. The atmosphere has a no-fuss, down-to-earth charm, and the food is consistently excellent—comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. There’s something special about places like this that have been doing things right for years without all the hype. More people should make the effort to check this place out. Anacabe’s is the kind of spot that makes you want to bring friends back just to share the experience. I’ll absolutely be returning soon.

This place is definitely a hole in the wall. It's not fancy. It doesn't have a big menu. BUT. The food is great and it's served quickly. The folks running the show are always chatty and kind, and they know many of their customers by name. I've never been served anything less than fresh, hot, home style food. Their fries are great. Love the Cuban tacos. I'm from out of town, but this is a favorite place to stop when I'm passing through

I love this place, very homey, nice friendly people, and the FOOD IS AMAZING!! Breakfast is so so good, especially the croissant breakfast sandwich . They know many of the regulars by first name. Get there early though for a table or booth.

Ordered 2 beef burritos without onions and a large potato ole. The burritos each had less meat than a normal taco and were extremely over seasoned. The potato ole's were a disgusting mess / mush of grease, tots, and again too much seasoning. Add in 3 other items in my order that I didn't eat, so I won't review them. This disappointment cost almost 30 bucks. It's such a shame to see what was once my favorite taco place become the first on my list to avoid.

Stop in twice a year when in town. Parking is good. Location has a drive through. Service is lacking at times, simple customer service training would help! Food is always good and still a great value:). Location is always clean. Even when it’s busy they are pretty quick but check your order before you leave.

This is a totally typical Taco John's. If you like Taco John's, you'll love this location. If you don't like Taco John's, you won't like this one, either. Get the Potato Olés.

Went to order a large fries with a code for $1.29 and a Cone for $2.29. We also wanted a pup cup for a dog and they had no clue what a pup cup was. Then they said our total was 7.29 when on the screen when we were ordering it said 4.29. We asked for a manager and the kid took so long to get someone to help and as we were waiting the guy that had our food was waving our food out the window as if we were the problem?! HORRIBLE service. These kids need more training.

Literally just went through the drive thru and of course someone forgot to put my nuggets in the bag. I'm done going to this McDonald's for the simple fact I shouldn't have something wrong with my order or something missing from my order. It's EVERY TIME I GO THERE. It's absolutely ridiculous. I worked in fast food. Check the bags. Check the screens to make sure you're making the orders correctly.

10:38 a.m. I had to wait 10 minutes for my burger they made me park and wait they then bring my order out which was missing my fries. I go back in and get them. I take a bite out of my hamburger and it's you can smell the meat it's not done. Never will I go to McDonald's in monona again there were two people sitting down in the back with full of workers I don't know what the problem is but I'm not going back the price I paid for this garbage

We really enjoy Qdoba, but our takeout order was wrong again this evening. Both mine and my wife's meals were missing items we had ordered. We even double-checked the slips attached to each food container, and everything was listed correctly - it just wasn't made that way. This has happened more than once now, which is disappointing. Hoping this was just an off day, because we do like the food when it's made right.

Hey just wanted to say I love the food I do but I ordered delivery and I got 2 bowls and I had Extra on both bowls the second bowl didn’t have hardly anything in it I spent 40.95 on this and it wasn’t that full kinda bummed out

QDOBA is an interesting restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food in a casual dining atmosphere. 1,2,3 steps to compose your order, and two freestyle machines to fill your drinks. The most amazing thing to me were the add-ins, including guacamole, jalapeños, and cheese, which are included in the price. It was lots of fun and casual dining to eat with family and friends.

I came in to use the bathroom and get food. Bathroom was out of toilet paper so I called the store to ask someone to bring me some…instead I heard a bunch of laughing and continued to sit there waiting. Finally about 10 minutes after I called I had to use paper towels and didn’t even want to order food because I was embarrassed. Probably the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had.

Food barely had any flavor. Like it was missing the seasoning. Drinks were not that carbonated and overallyeah was okay

At the Starbucks at 50 road…Walked in and ordered 2 hot lattes. Took about 15 minutes to get our drinks and then once we were back in the car driving away, one of the drinks was lukewarm. Tasted like milk that had been sitting out for a while. So disappointed.

Sunday morning rush at a coffee shop would be anticipated. Yet when you go there, they are short staffed with only two girls who are lack luster and look like that want to off themselves. Not a smile, not a good morning or a how are you. Talking in front of customers about other individuals who won’t come in; and discussing who else to call. I get being short staffed and I get being overwhelmed with a rush but your customers shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience for simply ordering their drinks. Sounds like they need better management that knows how to write a proper schedule so people can be prepared for the weekend morning rushes.

Order a latte with half-and-half and an extra shot of espresso. Tasted like skim milk warmed up with just a hint of coffee. I still drank it, but I didn’t like it. I don’t think they really know what they’re doing at this location. I feel bad leaving a bad review.

I went to starbucks today and usually I receive the greatest customer service ever. But today the barista taking my order was really snappy and rude to me. I don’t usually go to starbucks and was there getting something for my girlfriend so I don’t know their menu. Anyways instead of helping me she was incredibly rude and short with me. I didn’t catch her name but she was blonde with a black apron.

The baristas are always so sweet, but tonight they were amazing! The girl making my drink made it so unbelievably quick that I hadn't even finished paying yet and she was handing it to me and then apologizing that it wasn't quicker (she did not need to whatsoever). The service is amazing, and the baristas deserve raises or something. 12/10, would recommend.

Love...they always make my orders off the secret menu like strawberry shortcake 🍰 or cake batter!, I will always go here they have good customer service and they make your order right.

This location screws up my order almost every single time. Mostly on weekends. I always order a big breakfast WITH HOTCAKES and they always forget the hotcakes. Then upon getting home, I notice my big breakfast doesn’t have hotcakes, I get them specifically for my 2 year old who loves them. I drive ALL the way back to the location wait there for 15 mins before even being acknowledged, (mind you this was almost when breakfast was over) so they made me wait there, I couldn’t even get hotcakes for my order because “breakfast was over” how is that my problem? You messed up my order I wanted my hotcakes for my son, now my food is cold. Offering a “refund” won’t do anything when now I get to go home and my son is going to be mad because he doesn’t get his hotcakes. Poor excuse for a store being ran by teenagers, and not acknowledging paying customers for over 15 mins standing at the counter directly looking at you. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The food is great but they could work on the retailers attitudes. I came in wearing just a sports bra because its hot and two girls at this location behind the register counter kept talking about how i was wearing it and one even said "in Minneapolis you can be topless" this one came from a long red headed hair girl and the dark short haired girl that doesnt have a bra on anyway said "i was just curious if you'll get charged" when my friend and boyfriend spoke up becuase they were really loud and very rude. So maybe Mcdonalds should invest in name tags and tell their workers not to talk shit while on the clock. And if it was such a problem they couldve been more professional and told me to where a shirt instead of acting like it was a big deal becuase i was wearing a bra.

I only purchased a medium vanilla shake. It was awesome! The parking lot looked like a ghost town. Good location, next to a hospital.

Ordered food with no onions.came with onions. No ketchup, took off all condiments on the burger. Other burger was supposed to have no condiments but was flooded in ketchup to the point it was soup on a burger. The blond chick inside was screaming the whole time and was very annoying to listen to. I get if she was talking about work things but she wasn’t she was just being obnoxious.

Ordered 2 snack wraps today, one spicy and one ranch, both had too much sauce for the first bite then the rest of each of them had no sauce, very disappointed, usually like to go to McDonald's

Great caribou, accurate drinks to take out order. Out of the entire weekend, only one was a bit odd so I call that a win. They fixed it right away after letting them know so service is wonderful. Parking though sucks! They have a busy location with a very tight lot. Don't try park a large vehicle here as it isn't easy to navigate.

This Caribou is Absolutely amazing, so nice in every way!!! Cleanest ive ever been too and just put together with a fantastic atmosphere and Aesthetics. Blake waited on us and was such an incredibly nice young man!!!! Young lady made my coffee and it was perfect!!!

The 'bou crew at the Winona store outshine every other Caribou I've been to...and that's many! Great drinks and food options (dark hot chocolate is my go-to drink!) get me in the store, but the fantastic and friendly crew keep me coming back.

It is right off the highway with free wifi and a welcoming atmosphere. I love the employees here. There is an older lady that is almost always at the cash register, and she is always smiling and laughing. The coffee is obviously amazing because it is Caribou, and their Raspberry White Chocolate Scones warmed up are delicious.

I love Caribou Coffee and the Winona location has the kindest staff and fastest service with a smile. I always feel welcome and valued when i stop in and my coffee is always spot on.

This burger king was new which was a surprise to me and also inside, was clean! We were the only customers at this location. We were served pretty quickly and the staff was friendly towards us. However, the staff was kind of loud which was uncomfortable. 50/50 on whether we will stop again.

I have never had a good experience here. I keep giving it a try with months between because I enjoy Burger king in general. This location never gets everything right. Either the order is wrong, you wait for extended periods of time in the drive thru or the food is luke warm at best.

Moldy food given to customers!!! Walked into BK to order and before we even ordered, a lady took their tray back up to complain of the food. The lady was given a refund and stated that the food she received was ridiculous. Walked up to the lady and asked what was wrong with the food, she said they ordered 2 burgers and both had mold on them. Walked out after hearing this and Definitely will not stop here again!

This Burger King has done a complete 180 from a few months ago. It used to be terribly managed and the service was awful. The staff now is 100% better and management is way more professional especially Marvin. He is a great asset to this Burger King and is a breath of fresh air compared to previous managers.

Food took forever, tasted lousy, gentleman n front of us told them the pop was out and they didn’t do anything about it so he didn’t have a beverage to drink. NOT FAST FOOD. They were short handed., tables weren’t clean, the radio was in and out not impressive

Thought I would go through the drive through this morning. What a bad experience. First I was over charge for my meal. Then I didn’t get the correct change. When I received my food that was wrong as well. When I finally got my correct food it was terrible.

Ordered online and still sat in the drive through for over 15 minutes! They didn't have Impossible Whopper. Didn't have Iced Tea. Didn't give zesty sauce for onion rings and whopper is SATURATED in mayonnaise. Never going back!

States open but closed all summer while students are out

Service can be slow, but the lines are typically long with not too much staff, thus it's understandable. The staff is always friendly, and the food is what you'd expect. Nice place to stop for a coffee and a treat!

Fantastic coffee, with fast and friendly service! Highly recommend for anyone needing a good cup of coffee to get them through their morning classes.
