Raw Love Cafe, located in Ahau Tulum hotel, offers a menu filled with gluten-free superfoods. The cafe is known for its standout dishes like the raw pad thai and acai bowl. Upon entering, visitors are enveloped in an atmosphere of love and tranquility, with an abundance of vegetation, friendly staff, and a peaceful ambiance. The cafe provides a complete sensory experience that extends beyond just the food.
Love it here!! Amazing vibes and art work everywhere. The food feels really good and clean. You can tell everything it’s made with a lot of love and it looks just as beautiful. They also have a really great selection of kombucha. I highly recommend coming here for some tranquility and truly healing food.

Absolutely loved Raw Love in Tulum! 🌿 The atmosphere is gorgeous, peaceful, and cool (such a nice spot to relax in the heat). I had a fresh coconut which was obviously delicious, then shared the Zucchini Alfredo (zucchini pasta with cashew cream, basil pesto, smoked tomatoes, walnuts, and arugula) and the Maki Rolls (nori wraps with fresh veggies). Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and 100% plant-based. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful vegan-friendly place in Tulum!
Brittany G — Google review
So glad we stopped here for lunch! Such a little oasis away from the chaos. We came because we wanted refreshing food and had my dog with us (this place is dog friendly!). The tamales were delicious, the blue magic was so refreshing, our smoothies were great and my mom loved her pad thai. We got free shots for leaving reviews, but I would’ve left one anyway :) Highly recommend!
Victoria E — Google review
The maca vanilla bowl was incredible and the mocha with orange one of the best drinks I have had in my life (it is not sweet). Must try if you stay away from refined sugar and processed foods, SO good. Service was excellent and very relaxed vibe (though personally not a fan of the interiors and style of the place, it still makes for a nice atmosphere)
Τρισεύγενη Π — Google review
Raw Love Tulum! I had heard about this place before but never got the chance to try it until now. There are two locations in Tulum since I couldn’t find the one in the hotel zone, I went to the downtown spot, and wow… what a fantastic experience! The place has such a bohemian, cool vibe that makes you feel calm and relaxed. I ordered the açaí berry bowl, quinoa salad, and chocolate cake. The açaí bowl was unlike anything I’ve ever tried 10/5! The quinoa salad was also delicious, solid 5/5. And the chocolate cake? Another perfect 5/5. This spot is definitely worth stopping by. The staff are amazing, and while it’s a little on the pricey side, the quality makes it totally worth it. I can’t wait to go back and try more!
Hamid K — Google review
The food is very clean and healthy, and the ambiance and vibes are amazing. This place is unique and has so much character with beautiful artwork and murals to enjoy. But the best part was the warmth and hospitality I received from the staff here. We had a rainstorm and power outage while I was here and they gave us incredible hospitality and conversation. Adam and Noalie are total gems - such warm people that make you feel at home.
Rosy M — Google review
This experience was amazing, the good healthy food that was filling but yet left with enough space for desert! My server was from Argentina and it made me feel like I was at home. The Vegan Burger was delicious and the COCONUT… ORDER THE WHILE COCONUT FOR A BEVERAGE. 10/10 I recommend this to everyone coming to Tulum

DelCielo is a charming breakfast and brunch spot in Tulum Pueblo, offering a laid-back atmosphere and a variety of health-conscious options. The menu features classic Mexican breakfasts like Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros, as well as westernized dishes with plenty of avocado. The beautifully decorated space includes both indoor and outdoor seating.
Such a beautiful breakfast spot! I genuinely loved every single dish. It might be a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it. If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy breakfast, this is a must-visit

It was sooo delicious! The food was made with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The coffee was also great. The server was knowledgeable about their menu and had great suggestions. This will be a restaurant i will visit again next time we vacation
Vanessa M — Google review
We loved our brunch at Del Cielo!!! The environment is outdoor airy and all the staff carry an enthusiastic smile. They were very eager to take care of all our requests. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and I got a caramel cappuccino that was perfect. I also got the eggs Benedict that were on top of a crispy hash brown instead of any kind of bread at that was a brilliant combo. The açaí was mixed with coconut yogurt had great taste to it. The environment was so inviting we stayed a bit and talked after we were done eating. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Tulum Centro! Went here 3 times in a week. Lovely atmosphere, food is so fresh and plentiful, staff is so friendly. My husband and I tried so many things and loved them all! Highlights include: -Super Bowl -Tropical smoothie - Chilaquiles -Huevos Rancheros -Breakfast combo (the tomatoes are so good I spooned them into my mouth lol)
Hanna B — Google review
I really love this cafe. When in Tulum, we come there quite often for breakfast. Unusual, large, delicious portions of food. I especially like combos. Friendly staff. Everything is wonderful.
Malina — Google review
Phenomenal breakfast and coffee!!! Excellent service with great juices. Very nice atmosphere! Order the French toast or the Mexican bowl! Both were exceptional!
Jessica A — Google review
Grossest food I’ve eaten 🤢 . The coffee was bad (sour milk), the yogurt tasted like something foul was in it, and the chilaquiles were horrible, the taste was like watery tomatoes, in addition this was fresh out of the kitchen all of the chips were soggy 🌧️ ! How does that happen? The staff is nice, and the atmosphere is good, but my oh my the food was so bad. I think a lot of ingredients were expired. I’ve eaten all over the world and had some bad food, but this was so bad me and my wife didn’t even eat more than a few nibbles and left.

21/07/2025 Such a popular cafe!✨ I arrived before noon, but by lunchtime it was nearly full with lots of people coming in🕛🌞 I ordered the breakfast menu MX$160and added salmon MX$70 ☀️ You can choose between fried eggs or scrambled eggs 🍳I went with scrambled, and it was the right choice 🙂😋💜 It came with sauce, but the avocado, salmon, and eggs were already full of flavor, so I enjoyed it as it was⭐️ The bread was soft and easy to eat I really liked the texture, kind of like French bread🥖✨ The atmosphere was very relaxing, perfect for taking it easy 🍽️ Definitely check out their Instagram! 📱💖 ✨ @delcielo_bistrotropical✨ Gracias 🙂

Campanella Cremerie is a charming Italian spot located just a short ride from Tulum Beach. The cafe offers a cozy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating under the shade of trees. Visitors can enjoy delectable handmade pastries, ice creams, and coffees. The menu includes delightful options such as hazelnut croissants, paninis, avocado toast, and green juices.
Campanella is one of my favorite places in Tulum. I have tried so much of the menu and I love it all. The food feels comforting and nurturing to me, and the people who work there are so helpful, sweet and funny. I always feel good there. 🥰 I recommend it to anyone.

Lovely little place near where we stayed! The food was absolutely amazing, the juices were fabulous, there were lots of choices, the staff was always nice and welcoming! This place is quite busy all the time. it just shows how good it is! The mosquitos and flies are an issue, but they even provide spray, so that's great! I just wish they had an inside sitting area! Wifi is free too, we came here everyday so I definitely would recommend and if I ever come back I'll be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( there's homeless dogs about if you have a heart please buy them a dog food from 7-11 it's about 16pessos& fresh water, they are doing there best!)

Another place I loved in Tulum. The freshest of food, well prepared and flavorful, so fresh. The outside dining is perfect. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I'm keeping this place in the rotation for places to go the next time I come back!

We only enjoyed some cake. However, it was beautiful and tasted very fresh. A coffee and cake is a reason enough to stop in and enjoy 😉

I love the croissants here I haven’t tried any better bakery and gelato in Tulum , the food is fulfilling, I recommend hazelnut chocolate gelato, and my favorite thing is that they treat dogs from costumers and strays so good 🐕❤️

Discovered this hidden gem while on a 5 day trip in Tulum. We loved the food and service so much we visited THREE times. Castile and Erik were our waiters and they were the absolute sweetest. Now that I’m back home, I’m sad I can’t have their Cocada drink, Susy’s Chicken sandwich and their Banana waffle. If I visit Tulum again I definitely will return! Highly recommend!!

Campanella Cremerie in Tulum is a popular gelato bar offering a wide range of flavors, from traditional options like chocolate and vanilla to more unique ones such as pineapple-basil and passionfruit mousse with hazelnut cream. The prices are reasonable, starting at 55 pesos for one scoop. The chic and trendy restaurant has three locations in Tulum, each featuring minimalistic decor.
It was the best, most flavorful latte I've had in a long, long time (there's decaf too.) Having made a number of visits over the last month I can confirm they are consistent in the quality of their coffee, paninis, and top-notch friendly service. A few times I've had the turkey croissant panini. It comes on a huge, fresh croissant with real mozzarella. Yummmm! Try the gelato too, lots of flavors. It's on the main street and within a 2 or 3-minute walk from the bus terminal. Enjoy!
R J — Google review
There is very good service and delicious food, the coffee is excellent, moderately invigorating and does not cause anxiety😁. I've had Arabian eggs a few times. It was delicious.
Li Z — Google review
Loved the place. Their coffees are great. But the ice creams are the best. And pistachio is the best of all! Don’t try a sample if you can’t accommodate it as you will definitely end up buying one even if you’re full. Sweet people with great service!
Akash Y — Google review
I loved it here. It’s right off a main strip where you can see people walking up and down. I ordered a waffle with strawberries and gelato and enjoyed it. The place was nice and neat. I stopped by around 10pm on Tuesday night and found it quite relaxing.
Sergio L — Google review
Great spot right on the main street! Outdoor seating only. Food is well presented but I can’t give it five stars. We got Salmon on baguette and a Bowl with poached eggs. Eggs were hardboiled, not poached, and everything kinda lacked flavor. We’ve been waiting for food for about 30 minutes! Another thing that is kinda bothersome is that sellers from the street come to your table and try to sell their stuff. I understand that it’s a busy street and I wish I could help all the locals make their living but it is rather annoying when you are eating, there should be some kind of policy or at least a sign about soliciting. Overall it’s a cute place, their menu is great, coffees are really good, staff is friendly, and it’s also a gelato spot!
Samira N — Google review
Desserts are delicious and the staff is friendly. It's a good place to enjoy a cup of coffee and have a good conversation with someone. In my opinion, they should improve some of their cold coffee drinks. They also offer a variety of ice cream, I didn't try it but it looked really tasty🤭
URIEL T — Google review
This place has delicious Belgian waffles with really good gelato. We ordered the coffee flavor gelato and it tastes very smooth, full of coffee and not too sweet. The croissant sandwich was also delicious. However, they take a while to make the food. It took around half an hour before we got our food, but it was worth it. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

Absolutely loved this place! Located in the center of Tulum it offers outstanding vegetarian and vegan food! The host was incredible. Ask for garden seating. Feels like you are at someone's home.

Not worth the time or money. I have tried Chile relleno and tacos. Tacos are pipenapple based and after having one, your tastebuds will pray you to stop eating. It s o sweet and and not well curated. Chile relleno was under cooked and did not like the flavors at all. Food is not great and wouldn’t recommend this place.
Ajay J — Google review
Amazing gem of a place that is completely vegetarian. Has vegan options also. The staff are very warm and also speak basic English, enough to ask about the food and place an order. I had the 4piece Tacos with Tofu with a lemonade and a vegan cheesecake. The lemonade was fairly standard but the Tacos were mind blowing. It was fresh and refreshing. The tacos were served with a Mango Chipotle Dip which was lip smacking. The cheesecake has a different texture (more grainy and nutty) than a standard cheesecake but once I got adjusted to that I loved the taste. Would highly recommend the Tacos and the vegan cheesecake!

Hands down the best Vegetarian Restaurant in Tulum!!! The First time we went for dinner at this place, honestly they serve the best brown rice in town, My husband had a dish called Shamde (Which I had when we went there the 2nd time) Yummiest dish I've ever had!! Plus they serve the best tacos!!! No doubt this place serves the best food! Plus they serve yummy juices tooo!!! Their Mojito is the best I have had till date! I could feel the flavor of lime hit my taste buds!! I'd want to slip the recipe of the salsa they serve with chips :P Because it is that tasty!!! This place and the staff carry happy positive Vibes!! The ambiance here makes you feel like home. My time at this restaurant was a very cherish-able one!! I met the owner Cathy in my 2nd visit! A very sweet polite friendly person!! I just can't wait to plan another holiday in Tulum!!

Soup, yucca fries, house salad & stuffed pepper were excellent! Only 4 stars because the carrot cake was dense & flavorless. But would definitely return for everything else.

We pipped in for something sweet to end up our lunch and took all three ice cream tastes of the day, Mayan cacao and vegan gf “brownie”. We liked spicy chocolate ice cream and mango sorbet the most. “Brownie” though promised on almond flour, was too greasy and not chocolaty at all as it is made only with cocoa powder, without chocolate added😔and didn’t hold together( guys, add chia or flax meal egg(1 tb spoon of chia/flax plus 3 tbs of water equals one egg, around 55-60 grams) Cacao- on homemade almond milk with spices added was nice and very similar to ceremonial authentic cacao, though depends on your taste to such things, it doesn’t remind European cacao for those accustomed to it. Would definitely recommend the place!
Eugenia M — Google review
I love their food. Soup, salad and one burger 🍔😍😍 They have a beautiful garden in the back, just walk straight through the house. You will love it.
Christian B — Google review
Found this little gem in the heart of Tulum just off of the main strip. A fantastic vegetarian and Vegan restaurant with a solid variety in options. We had the guacamole (freshly made and delicious), vegan Chile relleno, and mushroom veggie burger. They even made us some fresh hot chile sauces that were a combo of smoky and fire, but not too hot that it lost flavor. The staff here was above and beyond kind and took great care of us. A couple of the employees are from the States, so if your Spanish isn't that great no worries you can get along swimmingly here. A must dine spot for anyone visiting Tulum!

Fantastic ice cream. Came back the next night because we were so amazed by the unique coffee flavour ice cream that we needed to come back to have it again. Pistachio was so good too and didn’t have that artificial taste to it.

La Fournee is a delightful French bakery that truly captures the essence of Parisian charm right in Tulum. With an impressive array of freshly baked pastries, breads, and cakes, it’s a haven for anyone with a sweet tooth. The all-day dining experience on their inviting back patio is perfect for brunch or lunch, featuring mouthwatering crepes, sandwiches, salads, and expertly crafted espresso drinks.
I discovered this place after having lunch at Ma Chérie, where I enjoyed the best French baguette I’ve had in Mexico. Curious about its origin, I asked the owner where he sourced it, and he directed me to La Fournée. This morning, I came here to buy a baguette and a croissant, and I must say, both are the best I’ve had in Mexico—and I’ve traveled extensively throughout the country. I also tried the orange juice, which was the first truly fresh, authentically squeezed orange juice I’ve had in Tulum. It was made purely from real oranges and not watered down. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable.

They have very delicious bakery products!!! Real chocolate croissant with chocolate NOT with Nutella!!!! Their coffee is delicious , I tried their baguette, it is also very good quality. And they have FRESH orange juice!!!! Not from bottle or can. And a big big extra: they open from 7:00am !!! I highly recommend this place!!!! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are next to the ADO bus on the high street.

I really loved this cute little French breakfast spot. The pastries are delicious and fresh and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Were there for lunch, which was perhaps a mistake as it seems more of a breakfast place : pizza slices are basically leftover, the foccacia was a bit tough, the cheesecake we ended up sending back due to strange taste (waiter said it was due to almond flour, but to us it tasted like product that had been in the pantry for many years...) but they kindly replaced with another different desert.

The fanciest and most delicious desserts! So intricate and flavourful. The bread!!! Like Europe and a taste of the real best bread in Tulum. Staff are so well capacitated and present, very professional. The homemade Kim chi is my favourite gingery fermented jar to take away. So many treasures with so much heart. Once you discover you’ll be back again and again

Every time we visit Italdo, we know we're at the best place in the Riviera Maya. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming - the aroma of freshly baked bread and coffee fills the air and lifts your mood. The quality of the product is outstanding made with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The croissant are simply irresistible - from that classic to the pain au chocolat, from the almond to the baba - all freshly baked every day. Whether you go for a sweet or savory breakfast, for lunch or brunch you can never go wrong. A place where you can have a genuine hospitality. Italdo is simply a must!

The service is courteous and I appreciated that. Both times I stopped by, I had my coffee prepared how I like it and the taste was wonderful. I also had two different snacks, a peanut butter cookie and a Madeline. Both nice. The seating isn't so great - it's either inside at a little bar facing the wall or outside on a patio by the street with all the heat/humidity. The bathroom was appalling and I was shocked at how run down and dirty it was. That needs to improve.

Update 2025: Unbelievably pushy sales tactics when we attempted to buy a few pastries. The restaurant is highly focused on full meal sit-down orders and actively discouraging to-go small orders with repetitive aggressive sales tactics. Yet another former gem of “Old Tulum 2021” overshadowed by new, customer service focused restaurants eg Nimeno x4. Sad. Rating reduced and won’t return soon. Fantastic cafe with an Italian flair. Delicious pastries for dining or take out and high end breads. Highly recommended.

ROSSINA CAFE in Tulum is a must-visit for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts. The cafe offers smooth and delicious coffee that will tempt you to have seconds. Their avo toast is considered one of the best, and their coffees are fresh and potent. The charming atmosphere with leafy outdoor seating creates a calming experience. It's a perfect spot for breakfast not far from the heart of Tulum, offering unique and delicious lattes along with a variety of food options.
Came here for brunch since it was close to our Airbnb. Since there were about 8 of us, we were seated outside under the covered patio. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We all ordered fresh juices (much needed after partying), and then I ordered the chilaquiles. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. Portion sizes matched the prices (prices were back in 2022); chilaquiles were 140 pesos and the juice was 75 pesos. Overall, we enjoyed our brunch. It was refreshing, affordable and the service was lovely.

Great, fresh, breakfast items made with fresh baked bread. Good portions, big enough to share if you’re not a big eater. Service was decent and good came out pretty quickly. I will definitely return on my next trip.

AtlasAdventured highly recommends eating here! One of the best breakfast spots in all of Tulum. Get there early, it tends to get really busy. Our favorite items are the breakfast sandwich on fresh baked bun (ask for the bacon extra crispy) and the avocado toast on fresh baked sourdough. Both are amazing but everything we got here was great. If fresh and in stock, get the Dulce de Leche croissant! Service is good even though they are really busy. Outside seating stays relatively cool with their setup.

We went to Rosina Café for breakfast. I ordered an Americano, but it tasted more like drip coffee and was only warm, not hot. My boyfriend had a mocha that was very watery with almost no flavor — also disappointing. We also tried the almond croissant, which unfortunately felt several days old — dry and far from fresh. On the positive side, the smoked salmon toast with egg and avocado was fresh and tasty, definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, a mixed experience: one delicious dish balanced out by coffee and pastries that really missed the mark. That’s why 3 stars feels fair.

This café in Tulum is such a special find! The space is cozy, beautiful, and full of great energy. The food is simple but absolutely delicious every single time! Fresh ingredients, perfect flavors, and their bread is baked fresh every day. You can really taste the care that goes into every dish, so huge shout-out to the cooks in the kitchen! Their green juices quickly became my favorite fresh, light, and super refreshing. And the service is just as amazing. Babel, Sol, and Roger always made us feel welcome and treated us like friends. Whether you’re a local or visiting Tulum, this place is a must!

Had a fabulous brunch here today! It definitely felt like vacation brunch. I think we stayed for two hours. I kept wanting to order another round of food. In all we had the Huevos Divorciados which were delicious and my husband had the burrito which was also tasty. I had two vanilla lattes (because vacation!) and my husband had a latte and fresh squeezed orange juice. On our way out we picked up two chocolate croissants to go. Spectacular start to the day!

From the rich hazelnut to decadent dark chocolate and classic stracciatella, each scoop offers a burst of delightful flavors. Visitors rave about the variety and taste, making multiple visits during their stay. The shop also offers sundaes and paninis.
Delicious delicious gelato! Went here 3 times during our trip because it really makes for a great nightcap. We tried many of the flavors but dulce de leche, fresa salvaje, and biscoff were our faves
Ximena N — Google review
We ordered the coffee, affogato. The ice cream we had was French vanilla and it wasn’t bad. But the coffee was a terrible addition. The coffee is too acidic. It doesn’t carry a smooth flavor. And so it threw off the whole profile. Also the ice cream here is not that good. The flavor is not very rich. It’s a decent ice cream but. Overall, they’re gonna get a three out of five stars.
Kindred K — Google review
Daniel was amazing! He served us delicious ice cream with such great energy and a genuine smile. He wasn’t pushy at all, which made the experience even better — in fact, his friendly approach is the reason we came back for ice cream twice! The shop itself is great, and I truly wish we had more places like this back in Canada. Keep up the fantastic work, Daniel!

I’m not a huge fan of ice cream / gelato but this place is excellent! I also hear that coffee is good but I haven’t tried it. Not that cheap for MX standards but worth it. Get a Ferrero flavor for sure, many others are also good. Line can be long to pay but it’s a small price to pay for a good treat. Enjoy.

This stuff is better than any gelato I've tried in the US. Delicious!! We shared mango, key lime pie, and chocolate pretzel. All three were scrumptious! We tried other gelato places in town that were cheaper but did not compare.

It's a nice shop with lots of different flavors, allthough too expensive for what you get. It depends who your server is, the scoops are bigger or smaller. 2 scoops cost in a normal cone MXN 125 or $7.35

I've been living in the Tulum area for four years now and have never eaten at Alfonsina before today. WOW! I have been missing out. It's accessible from the parking lot at the Chedraui so it's easy to get to. I had the hamburger and fries and a banana/peanut butter smoothie, and everything was delicious. My wife had a turkey/ham/gouda croissant with sunny side up eggs on top. She was very pleased and said she would order it again. Our server Alexes was very cheerful and attentive. The prices are very good considering it's Tulum. Pleasant music playing and it's air conditioned. I will make this a regular stop in my grocery shopping days.

Atlas A — Google review
I visited on a Friday around 5:15 PM and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a cold brew with milk and vanilla syrup—easily the worst coffee I’ve ever had. It was undrinkable, and I ended up throwing it away. The vanilla syrup didn’t taste like vanilla at all, and the milk did nothing to help the bitterness. I came intending to get some work done, but around 6:00 PM, staff started cleaning up and informed me they were closing—despite the fact that both Google and the sign outside listed a 7:00 PM closing time. It felt like they were just ready to be done for the day, regardless of the posted hours or the fact that I was a paying customer. I won’t be returning, but I hope they improve both their product and their customer service in the future.
Qorah T — Google review
Have been here many times over a year and seen many different servers and staff. The food is very good, the croissants are very good, but the service has consistently been awful. Firstly it is always extremely slow service. The last time it took an hour from arriving to actually gettting an order of eggs. Secondly, occasionally there will be a pleasant server, but most often the servers are very cold and inattentive. It’s a shame because the food is great, but they cannot seem to find staff that has any sense of service mentality. Hopefully the owners see this and can get the right staff and the right training for their staff in place.

I LOVE this coffee shop. It’s been my favorite in Tulum. They have plenty of seating areas (inside and outside), great pastries, and coffee. They’re all extremely nice but some of the servers are a little clueless (they might be new or training, it didn’t bother me) and the dishes my friend and I got weren’t that good so I can’t vouch for the cooked dishes but the pastries, ambiance, and coffee are great.

If you find yourself in Tulum, make sure to stop by Panna e Cioccolato, a delightful haven for gelato lovers. This charming spot offers an impressive array of flavors that cater to all palates, including vegan options so everyone can indulge without guilt. The desserts are simply divine, and their chocolate bars and cookies make perfect gifts for loved ones back home.
During my vacation in Tulum this past February with my partner, we discovered a hidden gem: Pana y Chocolato. These are by far the best Italian gelatos I’ve ever tasted. Every bite was a burst of flavor that transformed an ordinary day into something truly magical. I absolutely fell in love with the Stracciatella flavor—it was perfectly balanced and creamy, with just the right crunch of chocolate. The After Eight was equally enchanting, offering a sophisticated twist that surprised my taste buds in the best possible way. The service at Pana y Chocolato was exceptional; the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place where both the quality of the product and the level of service come together so seamlessly. I can honestly say I’d return as often as possible—I can’t imagine a day without indulging in one of the most delicious ice creams I’ve ever had. It’s a pity that my vacation had to end because every scoop was a reminder of the unforgettable experience that was Pana y Chocolato.

What a charming spot! We came here for my son’s birthday dinner as the menu has plenty of desserts listed. Our party tried the steak frites, enchiladas, salmon, and coconut shrimp. Everything was very tasty! We really loved the drinks as well, the pina colada was made to be flavorful but not overly sweet (my favorite). The best part was the service. Our server was so sweet to my son for his birthday! His favorite part was when they brought out the “tequila boom boom” birthday shot (which was sprite and cranberry juice) and had him take his “first shot” - he’s still talking about it days later. They also turned the fans off for the birthday candles and then immediately back on to keep us cool, just every thoughtful and kind. We had the chocolate toffee cake and then went back another day for the keylime cheesecake. Both delicious. The chocolate cake was a bit rich for me, but everyone else at the table loved it!

Gelato was ok, but the person on the counter exhibited rigidness in our request to split the flavors into 2 separate cups. In addition to that cards are not accepted. Meows Cream Heladeria, located on Jupiter Avenue in Tulum, offers a unique experience with its vegan soft-serve ice cream made from either oat or coconut base. Customers can choose two or three flavors to create their own delicious combination. The friendly staff and affordable prices make it a must-visit spot in Tulum. Additionally, the natural and healthy flavors of the ice creams make for a delightful treat.
Soft serve, and really yummy. You choose a base of either coconut or oat, then two or three flavours. Cheap and so good! The woman that served us was super friendly. I had a banana, coconut and oreo flavoured one with coconut base, it was really delicious! Definitely a must visit if in Tulum.

Vegan ice cream, what more could you want! Great value for money, and you get to choose multiple flavours. very cheap!
Caitlin J — Google review
Nice ice cream... Pick a flavor and they grind the fruit into it for you. Nice quality and good prices.
Gary H — Google review
Hidden gem of Tulum. Make your own ice cream with loads of fruits and other flavors to choose from. Perfect if you're gluten or lactose free. The woman working there was super friendly. Would definitely go again!
Nate C — Google review
More of a sorbet than an ice cream, since they use frozen apple juice as the mixer. But it’s actually really tasty. I had a small, a mix of chocolate and Oreo and it was very tasty. Just the right amount after our lunch. I would definitely recommend everyone in Tulum give it a whirl.
Samantha G — Google review
Do not be prepared for creamy sultry ice cream. Sorbet served salsa style. All options are blended and soft served when ordered. Very good, sugar free, dairy free. Super good on a hot day
Brandan H — Google review
Delicious natural fresh (and healthy!) helado, wonderful vibe in the little heladería, and run by an incredibly kind and sweet couple. Would highly recommend stopping by and trying different combinations of flavors!
M L — Google review
Very nice concept! Sugar free ice cream made with oat milk or coconut milk. Lots of flavours to pick from - chocolate is made with 100% cocoa nibs. Delicious and refreshing 😜

If you find yourself wandering through Downtown Tulum, make sure to stop by The Better Donut, a delightful vegan organic bakery that’s quickly gaining popularity. This charming spot offers an array of freshly baked vegan donuts alongside refreshing ice cream, milkshakes, and zesty lemonade. With gluten-free options available too, it caters to various dietary preferences.
Everything is amazing here! The donuts are so fresh and unique. The milkshakes are so yummy! I find donuts on all my travels and these are definitely one of the best I’ve ever had! Friendly staff as well!
Melissa M — Google review
SO GOOD, I never had such good donuts in my life. And the best matcha from tulum so far 👏🏻 Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I am impressed and happy!
Lydia M — Google review
Absolutely blown away by this place. All aspects of it. Best vegan donuts I’ve had so far in 7 years. Alongside the rare phenomenal quality of the ingredients, organically grown, fried in coconut oil not vegetable oil, maple syrup and cane sugar not white sugar or GMOs. And all the variety of flavours is next level (Boston cream, Black Forest etc) it just gets me so happy! The consciousness of the people managing the space, creating the food all while in a loving, mindful energy is an amazing bonus. There is also a peaceful place to sit and eat the donuts outside! It gets even better as you can have it delivered if you live in Tulum!!
Alexander H — Google review
This place is so good! The girls make everything right in house with quality ingredients. I got the Hazelnut and Dark Chocolate Donut. They were very light and I felt great after a whole one! I didn’t care much for the Hazelnut one BUT the Dark Chocolate one was DEVINE! The thick chocolate ganache inside was heaven. I also have to mention they make a fire matcha. The soy milk they use was thick and sweet and it had a subtle but not overpowering matcha taste.
Jerzy M — Google review
Not bad, but not our fave vegan donuts. They are pretty sweet and sugary. Friendly staff and good pricing
Madi — Google review
Staff are friendly, they offer gluten free and the toppings/flavours are good. I was really excited to come here. However the shop reeks of rotten coconut oil and the doughnuts themselves taste overwhelmingly of it. I think if you can't keep ontop of using fresh oil you need to use something that won't spoil so easily. Especially for the high price they charge. I had hoped to buy a box but I couldn't finish one because of the gone off oil taste :( Edit: I don't mean to imply they re-use oil, but that they are using oil that has gone off/been open too long. They got my donut fresh from the back and it was served hot to me since there were no gluten free flavours I wanted out already, and my partner's normal non-gf donut also tasted of off coconut to him and was from the window display.
Ari A — Google review
Had an amazing experience at The Better Donut. The owners are extremely friendly, and have incredible passion for their business which is beautiful to see. My partner and I went in two days in a row because in all my 13 years of gluten-free living I haven't tasted a donut nearly this good. Not only this, I got to select my filler and topping and they made it while we waited (would recommend apple filling w/ maple walnut topper!!!). The donut I ate in store was incredible, they keep well too - I took one to the beach, and ate one on the plane home the next day. My partner got their regular gluten-filled donut, and he said his was delicious as well. Will definitely make a point to go back next time I'm in Tulum!
Julia H — Google review
WOW!! as a vegan & a donut lover I can honestly say these are the best vegan donuts ever!!! They have so many different flavored donuts, my goal is to try them all! The owners and employees are all super friendly and nice to chat with! I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to eat donuts that are super tasty but wont make you feel like you just ate junk food. I live in Playa del Carmen but when I am in Tulum going here is a must! Hoping they open a shop in PDC!!

Best customer service and best cakes in Tulum!! we ordered a gold birthday cake for our friends 25th birthday and it was delicious! We had the dulce de leche flavor, and we have never tasted anything so rich and decadent. The ordering process and delivery was super seamless and easy. Hope to visit the actual storefront when I come back to Tulum!

Holy Bakery was absolutely amazing!!!! We were staying at a beach club in order a cake from here for my friend’s birthday. They made it so easy to customize the cake pay online and have it delivered straight to us. We got the vanilla cake with the very filling, and it was so so yummy! Great service, beautiful cakes, I’ll definitely use them again!

I recently traveled to Tulum for my friend's 50th birthday. Gabriel, the manager at Los Arrecifes hotel, recommended Holy Bakery for the torta de cumpleaños. The staff at the bakery were very friendly and accommodating, they made our cake within hours of ordering. The bakery was super cute and located in the town square. The cake was beautiful and so delicious!!! Highly recommend Holy Bakery in Tulum 10 out of 10!!!

I had an amazing experience with this cake business! They decorated my cake exactly as I envisioned, and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also delicious! Communication was easy, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend them for any special occasion!

Great new spot for breakfast, deserts, or a mid day cocktail. The only bad thing about this place is how early it closes. Highly recommend the chocolate pancakes. Fluffy chocolatey greatness! The hot chocolate and coffees are great too! My new favorite breakfast/cafe to chill and get some work done.
Sebastian D — Google review
The chile kiles was the best I have ever had. The texture was on point which is hard to do sometimes with it getting soggy quickly. The sauces were rich and had their own unique flavores. The chips had just the right amount of crunch and so did the onion. The runny egg was cooked perfectly too. The coffee was pretty top notch too. Creamy but also complex. The staff was super friendly and let us work there as well. Speaking of which, the wifi is pretty good even while using a VPN. The atmosphere is warm with a nice walkway with good outdoor seeting in the sun.
Conner J — Google review
Honestly, this place is a total win. The food was so good—super fresh, super tasty, and just hit the spot. I had the Huevos a la Mexicana and beans and Hot Cakes bañados en chocolate and everything was full of flavor without being too heavy. You can tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. The server there was friendly too. Chill vibe, no stress, just good service. They were quick but not pushy, and it felt like they actually enjoyed being there. The atmosphere was cool—laid-back, colorful, and clean. Not too loud, not too fancy, just a comfortable spot to kick back and eat some great food. And the best part? The prices. Seriously, for how much food you get and how good it is, it’s a steal. Definitely feels like you’re getting more than what you pay for.
Nabila R — Google review
I recently visited Harrtoo for the first time, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting — the place is really well kept, with a lovely mix of rustic and modern touches that create a relaxed vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. I went in expecting good flavours, but what I got was even better — authentic Mexican dishes with a unique fusion twist that made every bite exciting. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into the cooking. The service was another highlight. Ximena was so friendly and attentive, and she made us feel genuinely welcome, even though it was our first time there. It’s clear they take pride in both the food and the experience they offer. I was also really impressed by the value for money. The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the overall quality made it feel like a real treat without the hefty bill. We spent around 550 pesos for two mega tortas, two orange drinks plus coffee. All in all, Harrtoo made a fantastic first impression. If you're after tasty, well-prepared Mexican fusion food in a cosy setting with great service, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

The avocado toast, hot chocolate, and Mac 'n' cheese sandwich were all perfect. Staff were friendly, multilingual, and gave quick service. Don't think. Just go and eat. 🥰
Micah G — Google review
Great affordable brunch/coffee spot in Tulum. French toast was awesome, 8.8/10. Custard was not too sweet which was good but it seemed like it was missing something umami that could take it to the next level. Maybe lime zest or strawberry compote? Otherwise, the two girls at the front were extremely friendly and helpful.

My fave ice cream spot in Tulum! We have back home but here they have red velvet cheesecake flavour ice cream and it’s the best - so creamy and delicious . The staff are friendly, price could be cheaper but it is high quality product. Please introduce a loyalty card / app because I visit a lot during my holiday. Also lots of cute spaces to eat the ice cream and you have a fantastic churro place next door. I loved the selection of flavours here , deffo recommend it

If you think that almost 8 US$ for less than a scoop of ice cream is normal then go here. Most expensive ice cream ever and it’s a factory brand HD. More expensive than a scoop of the same mass produced brand in Switzerland or Tokyo! And this is Mexico… …. Truly stunning!!!
