Dulcería y Sorbetería Colón is a historic 110-year-old parlor located at Paseo de Montejo 479. It offers a variety of sweet treats, including soft meringues and seasonal sorbets like peach, tamarind, and sapote. The place is known for blending Yucatán peninsula crops into its desserts, with top flavors being mamey fruit, coconut, and guanabana (soursop).
Delicious treat on our hot walk home. My daughter ate the Mango without coming up for air. Hubs and I had Montecado and elote, and the boy had chocolate. They were all amazingly refreshing and delicious. Service was very helpful and attentive. We will be back to try more!
Megan C — Google review
1st time here, and what a welcome treat to cool you off. Beautiful flavors and amazing vibe. It was not too expensive and a wonderful treat. I had the corn sorbet, and others had the watermelon sorbet. Can't wait to go back.
Joe R — Google review
If you like fruit sorbets which are the perfect level of sweetness, this place is for you. We went back twice and had to try all of the flavours.
Lennie Y — Google review
Great place to cool down after a short walk (I want to cool down after every walk in this weather). Prices are more than reasonable and the staff is super nice and attentive! Would definitely recommend!
Vlad — Google review
I really don't understand how is that in Merida where the income is quite low an waterbased 🍨,could cost almost 8 usd per scoop. whoever is familiar with a Concrete in the Midwest (USA) could have an idea of what to compare with. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place anymore. NOTE, is not about the price is more about the cost-beneffit os this product. Not worth it.
J. G — Google review
Loved this place! Area is nice and the outside seating is great. The workers are super friendly and on top of it, the ice-cream is tasty.
Anna — Google review
The place was excellent. The location was great. We loved the ice cream and the sorbets . The coconut ice cream was Divine. The mantecada shake was amazing. The place is well decorated and the service was also excellent. The entertainment was fine. I am glad that I tried it . I loved it I would totally recommend it. I don't know why is the 4.5 it should be a 5.0.I really recommend it. It was a good recommendation.

Delicious shaved ice! The texture is superb. The ice they use is all purified and sanitary. Good vibes eating desserts right on the beautiful Main Street of downtown Mérida.

Ice cream shop
Pola Gelato Shop, located near the Santa Lucia square in Merida's Historic Center, offers a unique variety of flavors that reflect Yucatecan traditions. With between five and ten sorbets and an equal number of gelatos available daily, you can expect classic options like chocolate alongside innovative creations inspired by regional cuisine such as chocolate with chiles, flan, pineapple with chaya, or lemon with rosemary.
We had chocolate and coffee and biscotti flavors. Both were delicious. Went on Valentine’s (Friday) and wasn’t too long of a wait at all. Good price. We will be back there again!
Maria B — Google review
The dragonfruit sorbet was great, but the gelati left something to be desired. It didn't have the creaminess I expect from gelato and the flavors were just a little bit off. It's very good, but not great. The staff was wonderful and the place is nice though. I'm almost sad to not be giving them five stars.
Brandon D — Google review
This place just didn’t do anything for me. I love Gelato/Ice Cream. Recently came back from Italy, where we didn’t have a bad gelato. But after trying 6 different flavors here, I didn’t like any of them. We ate my wife’s one and even left that. True the flavors are very unique, pretty salty. Just not my taste. Service was excellent
Marat N — Google review
Great gelato! We enjoyed the clotted cream and dulce de leche + peanut, and the naranja agria/berries + guanabana. The little room off to the side has AC if you're looking to escape the heat a little bit.
Steph C — Google review
Have you ever wondered what blue cheese gelato would taste like? Well, you are in luck my friend!! That is only one of many flavor choices available here! Service is friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice stop on a hot day, one of the few places that doesn’t have the music so loud you have to scream at the person sitting next to you.
J D — Google review
Visited after seeing it recommended by multiple people, they are right, it's filled with so many fun and diverse flavors. Try some of their unusual ones you will be surprised and amused.
Ale V — Google review
Fantastic and quirky flavours and friendly staff! The strawberry, cranberry and red wine ice cream is one of the best I’ve ever had. We’d had to come here twice so we could try as many flavours as we can. Would highly recommended.
Charlotte F — Google review
Yum. Delicious handcrafted gelato. Great little shop with a cute air conditioned indoor seating area for the hot days, with a tidy washroom too…or steps away from a really nice park (which we chose as a the shady spot to enjoy our ice cream). Easy to miss this little gem as signage is not the greatest, worth searching for it though ;)

Ki'Xocolatl is a charming and unique cafe that specializes in all things chocolate. The cozy and rustic decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying their wide range of chocolate drinks and treats. From delicious chocolate frappes to traditional hot chocolates with spices, there's something for every chocolate lover.
This was just a store and a coffee shop in the Santa Lucia. We haven't tried their drinks but the pralines and cookies they sell were great. Huge selection of locally made chocolate bars, they even have chocolate perfume, shampoo and soap. Worth the trip.
Aleksandra S — Google review
Nice little chocolate shop. We came in one day to buy some chocolate bars of different flavors. They all sounded so good and interesting. We came back the next day to try the frappes and it as delicious. Better than any milkshake I've had in a long time.
Steph C — Google review
Chocolate is rich and tastes better than most. Makes a great drink but may be a little too rich for some. Service is excellent, not too many seats, assuming it is more of a shop.
J D — Google review
This place has been selling chocolate for several years, and it’s clear to see its success, with more locations in Mérida (not sure if there are any outside of Mérida). We were looking for white chocolate-covered almonds, but they no longer offer them. It seems the products change over time. Still, we highly recommend it and would return to try new offerings!
Moshé S — Google review
You get a bit of tourist pricing in this area, but the chocolate was generally pretty good, even if we didn't love every variety. They've got many so you're sure to find something you love.
Brandon D — Google review
Adorable spot with some unique chocolate, gorgeous chocolate sented cosmetics and a great spot to try a Mayan hot chocolate!
Elene R — Google review
Amazing chocolates. The chocolate frappe was delicious and refreshing and the quality of the chocolate bars come out in the flavors. The traditional hot chocolate with spices and hot water was ok. I originally asked for the hot cocoa with milk, however the staff suggested that the spices may not taste great with milk so I had it the traditional way with water. I saved what I couldn't finish and mixed with milk the next morning and it was actually better with milk for my taste. Unfortunately, you can't taste the chocolate bars in the jars without a minimum order of 100g. I wanted to try the white chocolate and over the course of 3 days, I bought hot cocoa, a frappe, a few hot cocoa bars, and a ton of other bars. It would've been a nice gesture to give us a small taste of the white chocolate but the rules are very firm on the 100g minimum. In any case, the chocolates are worth it. They are delicious!
Hannah C — Google review
I was eating dinner next store and saw the sign so I knew I had to stop in. The shop is very cute with the front completely dedicated to everything chocolate from bon bons to chocolate bars to nibs to whatever you can think of. The staff literally welcomes you from the door and they are there to answer any question and help with anything you need. I ended up buying a pre-packaged gift box of chocolates. My only wish is that you could create your own assortments. So far I have tried a couple and they are delicious!! So happy I stumbled onto the shop.

Korean restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque Paseo de Montejo in Central Merida, Korean Grill & Ice Cream is a charming eatery that brings authentic Korean flavors to life. Operated by Kay and her family, who made the journey from South Korea to Mexico, this modest restaurant offers a delightful menu featuring traditional dishes like bibimbap and sizzling Korean BBQ. Diners can enjoy platters of marinated meats grilled right at their table for a truly interactive experience. But that's not all!
Absolutely loved my visit to Korean Grill & Ice Cream in Mérida! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The location on Paseo de Montejo is perfect, and the vibe is relaxed yet vibrant. I ordered the bibimbap and bulgogi, and both were packed with authentic Korean flavors—so fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that the dishes are made with love and care. Also, don’t miss the Korean shaved ice cream for dessert—it was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal! Huge thanks to the team (and especially Kay and her family, if they were there!) for bringing such a great taste of Korea to Mérida. Highly recommend to anyone craving delicious, authentic Korean food in a warm and welcoming space! Thanks Jared for emejzing experience
Maciek L — Google review
As a Chinese living in Merida for two months they literally made my day. The service is incredible, they gave me free side dishes to try (idk maybe cuz they want a real Asian baddie to test their authenticity hahaha)? And the whole vibe was just so good. K-pop playing in the background, a mini Korean store, very very nice waiter!!! I love this place. Price is reasonable, food is good (not too extraordinary, since me as an Asian baddie has a high standard, but it reminds me of home)
Yifei S — Google review
The experience was wonderful 😍. The rice crispy with vegetables and chicken was appreciated by my young boy. The shrimps 🍤 was generous. We tested ramens and a local spicy 🌶️ soup 🍜 , was delicious. We eated one big scoop of coconut on a milk snow and one vanilla scoop on a chocolate 🍫 pie at marshmallow. To finish, the service was fast 💨 and the waiters were attentive.
Sébastien Q — Google review
I have been around for times with my family, and it’s a great place that I recommend. It’s in the heart of Merida, so it’s a good option especially if you are a tourist. I give it 5 stars because the food is tasty, and the service is fast. Also you learn about the traditional Korean food, so you have a good experience. 🍜🍚🥢💞!!
Majo — Google review
The ice cream was at least in the top 100 ice creams I've had. The servers are very friendly. The price is really good and the food was delicious. They have good options for vegans.
Bradley S — Google review
What a fantastic find right on the Paseo. We came for bbq but saw a lot of people coming in for the ice cream so will have to either leave room for dessert or come in specifically for that next time. Everything we ordered was delicious! All the little sides that come with your meal… like pickled vegetables or kimchi and sauces added a depth of flavor I was not expecting. I loved the table buzzer for service too, i will definitely be back.
Kim B — Google review
If you’re looking for a delicious and traditional Korean kitchen, this is by far the best in Merida!

We had a great lunch at this out of a kind restaurant in Mérida, we really enjoyed great food, authentic Korean kitchen! We even got to greet the owners. Very nice people! We decided to try different dishes and share and we really enjoyed every plate. Fair prices, well served, awesome flavors. We also loved the huge shaved ice cream! Definetly recommend and will come back soon!

SOCO Mérida is a popular bakery and café located in the heart of Merida, Mexico. It's renowned for its delectable brunch offerings, including avocado toast, yogurt with house-made granola and seasonal fruits, and buttery egg sandwiches. The establishment also offers an array of French-style pastries and artisanal breads that are perfect for take-away or enjoying on-site with freshly-brewed coffee.
I saw pics of this place. Stopped by for a loaf of bread and ended up enjoying one of their pastries and cold drinks. The chocolate-mamey will be one of my memorable treats in Mérida. Flakey, creamy, not too sweet, … I could go on. Need t come earlier to try more treats!!

Went to get some to go coffee and breakfast before going towards Uxmal. The service was brilliant and the little cafe had a great atmosphere - if we had had time, I would for sure had come back !! We got to coffees, a concha and a pan de muertos, which apparently only is made during the time of dia de los muertos.

Absolutely fabulous food!! Top notch bakery! And the service is second to none. Despite being crowded, they quickly turned tables to get guests seated. This is one of our favorite breakfast and lunch locations in Merida. No matter where we stay in the city, we will do the walk to eat here at least once while visiting. And do not miss on the fresh baked goods while here.

Be careful with flavors. We had ordered lime, and received lime with haberno, when this was pointed to the staff they didn't believe us that the flavors were mislabeled. I cleary watched them take the ice cream from the container labelled lime, which was must have been switched with the one labelled lime and haberno. We took it and left as the staff was not helpful, but will not return. Ice cream was great, service was just poor.

Not as good as advertised on the pictures. The ice cream started to melt as soon as it was placed on the counter. I had to ask for extra tissues to clean the mess, but my hands were already badly sticky. Taste was okay. The hostess was smiling and welcoming: the stars are for her.

Casa Pipí Cucú, located in Plaza Bambu in Merida, Mexico, is an ice cream parlor that prides itself on reviving traditional artisanal methods of ice cream making. They offer a variety of flavors which change weekly to experiment with seasonal ingredients. In addition to their milk-based options, they now also serve vegan gelato.
This is a hidden gem!!! Even the very understanding of the name’s origin is a lovely experience! Also the flavors are spectacular and they guarantee you will LOVE the flavors in such a unique way. You will find it on La Plancha Park in a very nice location, as any hidden gem you must look for it!

I felt like enjoying the place and he told us that we had to leave the place because it had to close. When I found out that it was an ice cream parlor, I decided to go. The next day after work I went to visit them, taking advantage of the heat 🥵 I loved the vintage decoration, the decoration was very beautiful. At first I didn't know what flavor of ice cream to choose but I decided on the Gula-gula Chocolate. My biggest surprise was when I took the first bite 😱 it was delicious 😍!!!! It's like I'm eating a frozen brownie, creamy, not at all cloying, with the perfect balance of everything, simply exquisite 🥰 The truth is I'm not much of an ice cream fan, since they generally taste more like milk or water than what they should taste like. But this ice cream really surprised me. Rosas & Xocolate Boutique Hotel + SPA is a luxurious hotel located in the Paseo Montejo area of Merida, combining two stunning French-style mansions to create a unique accommodation experience. The rooms feature elegant decor with high ceilings, wooden furnishings, and modern amenities such as outdoor jacuzzis, BOSE sound systems, and flat-screen TVs.
I got the Deluxe Exfoliation package with a relaxing massage at the Spa and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. Tonia was amazing. She asked questions about my problem areas and really paid special attention to them. Overall, it was an amazing experience because of Tonia!

If you can avoid this place do it, they advertise free parking not parking at all, you need to park on the street at your own risk. They advertise luxury boutique not true, we tried to go to the upper terrace the bar was in terrible conditions. Excellent staff good breakfast, good location.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Rosas y Xocolate. Our room was right next to the pool which felt like a real treat, as we could enjoy the peaceful atmosphere just off the bustle of the Main Street. Even though there were 3 of us in the room it felt like there was plenty of space, with a separate bedroom and lounge. The staff were friendly and attentive, and patient with me trying to practise my Spanish. We really enjoyed the complementary breakfast, including a hot drink, juice, pastry, and an option from the extensive menu. I would particularly recommend the smoked salmon bagel. The location was perfect, about a 20 minute walk to the main square but lots to see closer too. This was a perfect start to our trip across the peninsula and would recommend Rosas to anyone considering a trip to Merida.
Lynsey B — Google review
My stay at Rosas & Xocolate Boutique Hotel and Spa in Mérida was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression, thanks to its unique charm and warm hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Mérida, this boutique hotel stands out with its breathtaking architecture and distinctive style. The fusion of colonial elegance with bold pink and chocolate-hued accents creates a visually striking ambiance that feels both luxurious and whimsical. Every corner of the property, from the lush courtyard to the meticulously designed rooms, showcases a thoughtful blend of modern sophistication and Yucatecan heritage. The attention to detail in the decor—think vibrant tiles, artisanal touches, and elegant furnishings—makes it a haven for anyone who appreciates aesthetic excellence. The staff at Rosas & Xocolate deserves high praise for their friendliness and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure my stay was comfortable. Whether it was offering recommendations for exploring Mérida’s vibrant cultural scene or accommodating special requests, their service added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. The on-site amenities, including the spa and the restaurant, further enhanced my stay. The restaurant, in particular, served up delicious dishes that beautifully blended local flavors with a gourmet twist, making every meal a treat. However, there was one peculiar aspect of my stay that stood out for the wrong reasons: the hotel’s deposit policy. Upon checking in, they charge a deposit, which is fairly standard, but by the end of the stay, they retain a single cent from the refund. This practice felt odd and unnecessary, and it’s something I haven’t encountered at any other hotel I’ve stayed at worldwide. While it’s a minor amount and didn’t significantly detract from the experience, it left me puzzled and slightly annoyed, as it seemed like an unusual quirk for an otherwise polished establishment.Overall, Rosas & Xocolate is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a boutique hotel with character, style, and heart in Mérida. The stunning architecture, exceptional staff, and unique vibe make it a standout. If you can overlook the odd deposit practice, this hotel is well worth a visit for a memorable stay in the Yucatán. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of luxury and local charm!

This is a really charming hotel in a renovated mansion on a beautiful avenue. I stayed in the master suite - it was bright and airy, had massively high ceilings, was comfortable and spotless. (I did get an upgrade and for those of you with Bonvoy status, the staff did a great job of recognizing and valuing me throughout my weeklong stay. They were helpful, courteous and attentive) Crisiant, the Sales Manager, was particularly helpful. He contacted me promptly after my booking to assist with spa appointments and suggesting and arranging excursions. His assistance was valuable in planning my visit, as I had done little to no research before booking. The hotel's location is convenient for exploring the city. Paseo de Montejo is beautiful, offered a good base for walking to many city attractions and experiencing the local area. There are so many really good restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. It's a really great choice for a more than comfortable stay in Mérida.

I came for the food and dispute all of the less than 5 star reviews, I still went. I have to say the food was fantastic!! I got the Eggs Benedict and the chef did not disappoint!!! From the perfect hollandaise and poached egg to the mimosa...Fantastic!! The service was also top shelf. I was afraid to try the coffee because of all the bad reviewers who complained about the coffee, food and service but I'll definitely try it the next time I go back. If the coffee is the only thing that some people gave bad reviews, I'll skip it!
Rodney H — Google review
We always stop by here to get their pear salad. The other food was very good as well.
Terry B — Google review
I've always had a rather ambivalent regard for the Pet Shop Boys. Whilst their tunes are undeniably catchy their lyrics often humorous and clever they are equally often let down by a rather laboured rhyme or a clichéd phrase. However, I've often found myself quoting the line from the song Left to My Own Devices that states "...learn to ignore what the photographer saw" and that's what you need to do at Rosas and Xocolate. Rarely has a website been so misleading. See photos. There certainly aren't any Roses and no Chocolate either 😕 😄 But let's start with the positives. The hotel staff are accommodating and polite (special mention for the breakfast server Sophie) with a comprehensive breakfast menu of decent quality and the location is very good. That's it. Now the reasons I wouldn't return. In general the hotel is unloved and poorly maintained. On arrival, the lobby had a large broken glass candle holder, the corridor had dirty glasses on the floor that remained untouched for over 24 hours and our room (the Master Suite) was tired and inadequately maintained. On arrival, the power shorted, the toilet leaked (this was fixed) the coffee maker didn't work (this too was fixed - but by turning off the refrigerator) and the bed linen faded and poor quality. The breakfast courtyard was dirty and unswept and the windows generally needed a good clean. The overall feel was one of decline and neglect which is unforgiveable in any establishment but given the prices being charged it almost amounts to theft. Read my other reviews; you'll see I'm not given to unnecessary criticism nor over reaction to a single incident of  bad service. There's another lyric from the Pet Shop Boys song Shopping that goes "...our gain is your loss, that's the price you pay". This might just sum up the Rosas and Xocolate experience. P.S. I'm honestly not a big Pet Shop Boys fan.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Merida, look no further than Merci - Homemade Food. This charming eatery is celebrated for its seasonal breakfast and lunch offerings, with a particular emphasis on their weekend brunch that draws both locals and visitors alike. Nestled in Plaza San Angelo, Merci boasts an impressive menu inspired by European cuisine, featuring everything from homemade English muffins topped with eggs benedict to mouthwatering French toast and artisanal sandwiches.
Simple and classy. I took a late picture of the fruit and oat plate but wow were the fruits ever flavorful and ripe. Beautiful breakfast spot with delicious baked goods, the best cappuccino I've had in Mexico, delicious tocino burger, next time I wanna try maybe French toast or pancakes and I should bring my own maple syrup from Canada haha. My friend ordered the sanwich merci, it was delicious when adorned with some habanero sauce. Very very good. All the food was very photogenic including the avocado toast adorned with radish. Amazing breakfast place. They're baked good and coffees are so good.

Rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed, it’s the ideal complement to any meal. If you're a coffee lover, this is definitely the place to be. The service was friendly and attentive, making my visit even more enjoyable. I will absolutely be back to Merci for both the delicious food and the great coffee. Highly recommended!

The food was good, not spectacular, but good. We chose brunch options from the menu for our meal. Their display cases had some really beautiful looking pastries, although I didn't try them, I was full from brunch. But if I require fancy pastry again I will certainly go back to this place to try them out!! Most of the staff were very pleasant and friendly, but it needs to be said that the main waiter we had came with a high degree of attitude and it made me feel uncomfortable. We dined indoors to enjoy the air conditioning, but they also have a lovely terrace for less "intense" Merida days!

We actually love this place, food was delicious, the place is really nice looking, fast service i would like the waiter to check on tables to make sure everything is how supposed to be (my order was incomplete, it was still pretty good though) also just a personal opinion: it doesn't look good for them to be washing dishes in front of customers, restaurant is to nice to do that right there. I’m writing this as a local. This is my go to when I want old world elegance and tranquility. Mexican food, great waiters, and very fair prices. Willie, Octavio, Fabio all are wonderful, the food excellent, chilaquiles, ensalada, galletas but the other day I had a coffee and I don’t usually as I drink decaf but I had a high test coffee and OMG it was worth it. Probably the best coffee I’ve had in a very long time. Go here. It’s a small boutique hotel with a great restaurant on the main level and TBH I see mainly locals in the restaurant and that’s always a good sign.

Beautiful place to stay in Merida. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and gentle. The only concern about the hotel is located next to a bar, they play music out loud at night and the rooms are not noise proof. I couldn’t sleep two nights during the weekend.

Strange hotel in a beautiful 19 th century large palm filled house organised around central courtyard. The house parrots make disturbing screaming noise. (Translated by Google) It was Friday, my vacation day, and I went to do some things nearby. Afterward, I looked for a nursery and a bakery. I chose this one because of the name. The place is very small, and it's not the place to eat in; they sell pre-made coffee. The bread is placed in baskets, and you can choose the piece you like best. I chose one with bacon and melted cheese. It was already cold, and the cheese got a little hard, but it was good. I also chose a cinnamon snail, which I heated later in my electric oven at home, and a chocolate bar that I ate until Sunday. Very, very cool coffee house. Great coffee and pastries. Friendly staff that speaks English. Couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere and the overall experience. Went it thinking it was a chocolate museum. It was not. The place looks cute when you walk in, but sit outside if it's a nice day. I had the Americano, and it was exactly what you'd expect. I tried three items: 1. macarron- perfect 2. tarta de fruta - more crust than anything 3. Chocolate cake covered in chocolate w/ sprinkles on top - the shell was hard, and it didn't have enough cake. Might as well buy a chocolate bar. Overall, it was good, but not what I expected.

This cafe is located in the perfect location. Very cozy ambience. Ordered the crème brûlée and the fruit tart. The tart had too much biscuit crumb for my liking while the creme brûlée had a consistency that was bit too firm rather than smooth or creamy.

Just had a full-blown pastry awakening at Placer y Delirio! The name doesn’t lie—pure pleasure with a side of delirium. Every bite had me questioning my life choices (like why I haven’t been here sooner). The pastries? Outrageously delicious. The vibe? Cool enough to make your iced coffee jealous. Service was great—friendly without being fake. 10/10 would sell my diet plan for another croissant.

Mixed feelings here, service was not great, they were inattentive. We had to get up to get their attention although we were inside. The food wasn't that special either, my pastry was old. There are much better places with fresh pastry that is more tasteful. But the place has a nice vibe. Only when it rains and you have to use the bathroom you get soaked as the water poured down right in front of the bathroom because there is no gutter 😔

August 29, 2025. They sell old and stale bakery items. I got a selection of desserts. Some cake slices and some cookies to go and a croissant to eat in. The croissant they initially served me was old and stale. I let them know and she replaced it with a fresh one which was good. I was so embarrassed to serve my guests the desserts I had bought. EVERYTHING was stale, dry and inedible and I had to throw them away. Save your money. Go somewhere else

Amorino is a serene spot to savor delicious ice cream with a focus on quality over quantity. The limited but exceptional flavors make it worth the visit, especially for pistachio gelato enthusiasts. Their Afogado Coffee with natural and organic ingredients is highly recommended. Visitors praise the unique and high-quality flavors, as well as the friendly service at this lovely ice cream shop.
The sorbet was such a welcome treat on these 103° days (Farenheit, I'm still working on learning Celsius people lol) the classic rose cone and the Grandioso Macaron were all delicious... I think I may have found a very dangerous place to visit to quell my sweet tooth. The space is very beautifully done and the staff were kind and patient. Looking forward to coming back and trying the other flavors !

If you’re a pistachio ice cream lover, you’ll know how hard it is to find good ones. This place probably has the best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had, and I loved their yogurt and coconut gelato too. Good service and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

The vegan sorbets are great and not too sweet either. Service was kind and patient, the staff advised us well. Definitely recommended

If you're wanting a decadent and delicious ice cream sundae in Merida, this is the place... I highly recommend the waffle sticks. Hi calorie, but can't be beat! Can't do that everyday, but if you need a good treat, this is the place to go, absolutely delicious!

We found this place totally random as we wait for our Oriente bus from Noreste I'm glad we went there. Staff is amazing. Food is gorgeous , especially the house specialty the flan. And loads of fun with the chicken bell ! Keep doing great work and atmosphere 💯

What a great surprise to find a place like this in downtown. We were a party of 11 and they set up a table very fast. Service was great , staff is very helpful and food was unbelievable! Best Horchata water in the region, pesto pasta very tasty, chilaquiles with great flavor, making story short this is gem hide in downtown. Prices and quantity are perfectly balanced. Easily 5/5 stars without a doubt!.
Adolfo M — Google review
There is a reason this place is 5/5 stars. One bite into the flan and I'm dying. I've tried super market flan, I've tried farmer market flan, I could see why people like it. Here, I can see why its loved in the first place. Why there's other subpar renditions. The flan is OUTSTANDING. This non descript little cafe is a MUST visit. COME HUNGRY.

Very chill and cozy courtyard! The flan are delicious with many different flavors available. Would definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch. They also offer vegetarian options 👌🏼

NOL restaurante is one of the newest dining spots in Merida, offering a high-end gastronomic experience that showcases the diversity of Mexican cuisine. Helmed by Chef Erick Bautista, who brings his expertise from working in Michelin-starred restaurants in Mexico and Spain, this restaurant promises to delight your taste buds. Guests can expect a contemporary dining experience with a unique fusion of traditional Mexican flavors and modern culinary techniques.
What a pleasant surprise this place was. We are always looking for restaurants with vegetarian options and this place is a huge win. Valentina is a hugely inventive chef and has created some amazing dishes to enjoy. The portions may not look huge with either all of the extras we did not leave hungry. Actually the opposite. We left totally sated and looking forward to when we would return.
William H — Google review
We found this to be easily the best restaurant in Merida, especially after trying the recently awarded restaurant around the corner (50 best list). The service was fantastic and the food was divine. We had three starters, two mains and a dessert for two people. The creations the chef puts out are truly creative and we enjoyed it very much. I cannot recommend this enough.
Nick F — Google review
The food was outstanding! We had the Tetela, Esquite, and Molleja de res. The flavours of the ingredients combined beautifully. Each dish was masterfully crafted and uniquely delicious. Then for desert: Chocolate Tamale with ice-cream, and The Helado de Hoja Santa, bizcocho de quelites, merengue de cilantro y kefir The chocolate tamale was quite good and a fun combinations of textures and temperatures. The Second dessert (Helado de Hoja Santa) was exceptional! Smooth ice-cream with a broad herbal bouquet complemented with the sour kefir and sweet merengue. Each component tasty on its own, but even better combined. The Tepache was also super tasty!
Hunter A — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience. Cocktails made with local and indigenous ingredients. Yucatán cuisine with a flare. Great location. Excellent service. Octopus and pork head was delicious. All of the Mayan cocktails were unique and exquisite. I highly recommend to try this place to contrast all the local hole in the wall places. This is not snobby but an approachable elevated experience.

Crawl, walk, run, but whatever you do, YOU MUST GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! The food quality and taste is off the charts here, kudos to this extremely talented young chef. From the welcome "bite" to the appetizers, then the main course and ultimately dessert, there wasn't anything that disappointed. This was an incredible dining experience and one that should not be missed. Four of us dined together and we all raved about everything we ate. It's very difficult to describe perfection in cuisine, you really must try it for yourself. The bilingual servers were excellent and described all the dishes perfectly, suggesting wine pairings for us as well. Two people in our party made reservations for their next meal before we left for the evening. Highly, highly recommend this fantastic restaurant, located conveniently across the street from Parque Sta Lucia.
Todd J — Google review
We had a wonderful food experience at NOL! We tried one of the signature dishes - carpaccio, which was totally mind blowing! Great food gastronomy. The roasted camarones with corn risotto were delicious as well. The start of the table was cold crab soup!!!! Definitely must try! All food was really good but the three stuck in my mind. They also have a super cool bar with fantastic artwork from Guerrero.
Ema K — Google review
Just unbelievably delicious food. For starters, we had the xilotes and chilli xcatic, with the xilotes being close to perfection. We then had both the beetroots and the local mushrooms as the two mains, with both dishes just being incredibly intricate and delicious. For dessert, we tried all the ones on the menu. They were all great, but the ya'ax was the best. The wine list at this restaurant is all Mexican and looks very interesting. We tried a couple of these by the glass and they were both excellent. Also, the service could not be better.

This is a wonderful little cafe serving Italian food and the delicious homemade gelato ice cream. We ordered pinta (pizza) and a Italian ham and cheese sandwich. A very nice gelaterie within the heart of Central Merida. If you're craving gelato, this is the place to visit. My spouse and I were greeted by the manager Roberto right away. He was very personalable with his service and time given chatting with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the Tiramisu and the chocolate pear gelato, which was a unique flavour that I've never tried anywhere else. There is also a quiant little outdoor terrace where you can sit and soak up some rays while enjoying your dessert. Or you can dine inside his cafe if you're not much of a sun worshipper. ;) Either way, it's nice to have options after all, and there's coffee and some pastry options if you'd prefer that.

I was very excited to try the ice cream with the roasted marshmallow fluff on top. It did not disappoint with their flavours. I ordered the ferro and Carmel brownie ice cream (which is the one you need to order to get the marshmallow topping) they also did let us have a taste test first. The pictures show a store front but we went to this address and it’s actually more of a kiosk among other stores/restaurants and we actually didn’t even see it until we were already having them take our order, so it a bit of an odd set up compared to what we expected and the prices were a bit much for what we really got.

This place is AMAZING! We went twice during our time in Mérida and it was one of the best sweet treats we had. We loved the queso de bola con cajeta! The queso de bola exterior had actual cheese in it, giving it such a unique texture and the inside was loaded with caramel. Such a delicious combo! The place itself is also SO CUTE! The bakery offers an array of freshly baked goods, from savory baguettes to sweet pastries filled with delicious jam. Owned by Francois-Xavier and managed by his wife Salela, the bakery prides itself on using fresh, well-sourced ingredients to create handmade croissants and breads.
Finally, good coffee and bread. I tend to find coffee is Merida is unnecessarily sweet or water down at a lot of places—they got my cappuccino just right. I get the impression that they use quality products and skill to make delicious bread. Staff is also very nice and attentive.

Seating could be more comfortable, and it could also be a better atmosphere if food, beverages were served on plates, and real cups. But best croissant, looking forward to trying the French baguettes.

Lovely bread place in Miguel Aleman. They have many kinds of basic bread: baguette, croissant, roll, concha etc. Normally new breads comes out at 8:30-9:00am. Tastes are all really good. Price also resonable. Highly recommand.

My favorite place in Merida for an authentic croissant, they also have savory options which is a nice change from the typical sweet types of bread. Come early, since they run out of certain varieties due to high demand.

Bakery like no other in Merida. Owned by a French individual and his lovely partner who works up front. You always get quality, freshness and smiles. My kryptonite is a baguette and a crossait and boy do they deliver each time. The baqutte is fluffy and crispy made the proper way. The man is a magician when it comes to all other pastries. Each time I drive by I always ensure to pop in for at least one pastry. If you want a change from the big chain bread and want heaven in your mouth then stop reading this and go buy something!

A French bakery with handmade croissants, and breads, by Owner Francois -Xavier, and attended by his lovely wife Salela. The ingredients are fresh, and well sourced. Favorites...? The apple Carre with its wonderful balance of ingredients. The plain croissants, with a coffee is phenomenal, the the chocolate and banana carre is simply hedonistic. Take home a baguette for your cheese, and a loaf of their nutty bread for breakfast toast. Their coffee is wonderful and the perfect accompaniment to the bake goods. WARNING: Baked goods sell fast on Sunday morning.

Artehelado Mérida Campestre is a top-notch ice cream spot that offers high-quality, creative flavors made with natural and powerful ingredients. The techniques used in crafting their ice creams are perfect, resulting in a soft texture even for sorbets. They use local ingredients such as chocolate from Chiapas and Tabasco, coffee from Vera Cruz, chaya, and hoja de momo to create promising combinations like "viva Mexico," which features tamarindo and mezcal.
Sorry about the mostly eaten shot of the ice cream, it's that good every time. My favorite is the chocolate but the included photo is Strawberry with chocolate chips which is also amazing. Fair prices for a quality product. Nice little hidden place of you're up for a snack. TRY THE CHOCOLATE! you won't be disappointed. Accepts cash and cards.

(Translated by Google) I loved it! The ice creams can be ordered in a cone, a glass, inside macarons or with waffles, they have milk-based or water-based flavors and vary depending on the season, the toasted almond one was my favorite, followed by the red fruit, bread apple and dark chocolate. Super friendly staff and the place is nice to spend the afternoon talking. (Original) Me encantó!

(Translated by Google) Their macaroon was chewy, the passion fruit ice cream was very sweet, and the waffle bread was a bit bitter; I found it curious that they had a 100% natural sign when it shows that they use excessive dyes. The girls have nice attention and sell things very well. The proposal is good, but it is a shame that it does not adhere to reality. (Original) Su macarrón estaba chicloso, el helado de maracuyá muy dulce y pan de los waffles resultó algo amargo; me pareció curioso que tuviesen un letrero de 100%natural cuando se nota que usan colorantes en exceso. Meyer's Auténtica Salchichonería Alemana is a surprising find for lovers of German deli food. The place offers a variety of delicious options such as coffee, bite-sized cookies, watermelon juice, sandwiches, cold cuts and good cheese. While the prices may be a bit higher compared to other places in the area, they are still less expensive than similar offerings in Colorado.
Incredibly good quality, fair prices, excellent service!
Will — Google review
Maybe they pay people for the good reviews? Ot people do not know what German Quality means? But when I walked in with high expectations after reading the reviews I only saw old, dried out pale looking meat for insane prices. Same with the cheese. And the way it is stored and on display did not appeal to me at all. Maybe the sausages are good, they looked pretty German to me, but the other "meats"........nah! No thank you! And not for those prices. So Meyer's is not my place, and the staff was very unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made me want to leave the shop asap.
Jeanette C — Google review
I finally found Myers Deli and have been wanting to try it for years. I got bratwurst, a jar of pickles, some dry salami and a large pastrami sandwich. The bratwurst was more like a bologna than any bratwurst I have had before so it was not very good. The pickles were not deli dill pickles but some kind of sweet pickle. The dry salami was very good. The large pastrami sandwich wasn't close to being large and the pastrami was tasteless. So it was not a good experience but the salami was the best thing there.

Not a totally true German deli as claimed. Ordered a baguette to go. It was quickly packaged in the back. Once home, it was a long, soft subway like bread. Also ordered mortadella, and they don't know what it is as what they have is no more than smoked/roasted meat (pork?). I will not return be returning.

Panaderia y Pasteleria La Vieja is a must-visit for those craving traditional Mexican baked goods. Located just a short walk from Plaza Grande, the aroma of sweet treats will lead you to this expansive bakery. Rows of various pastries and baked goods await, offering great flavors at affordable prices. While the pastries may be drier than their American counterparts, they pair perfectly with a cup of coffee. Visitors highly recommend trying out the delicious breads available here.
Bread here is delicious! I recommend you the Panqués (Cinammon, Butter, Milk, Raisins) and Conchas. Place looks old but I can guarantee you you'll come back for more options after your first purchase. Prices are excellent but they only take cash for payment.

Great pastries at amazing prices. Just beware they are not like American pastries as these are on the dry side but they are great with coffee. $2 us for a tray.

Nothing special. A dimly lit open air shop with baked goods. If you are looking for flaky croissants do Not bother stopping here. I don't know what the sweet filling in this pastry was but the honey bees and flies seem to like it.

Nestled in the heart of Merida, Gramme is a delightful bakery that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Owned by Laurent, a Parisian native, and his Mexican wife Diana, this charming spot offers an array of authentic French pastries made from scratch. Their standout item? The pan au chocolat croissant—perfectly moist with rich butter and expertly crafted to avoid the common pitfalls of being crumbly or burnt.
Move over Pan & Køf.feé. This is now the best pan au chocolate croissant in town. The owners, Laurent (who is from Paris) and his Mexican wife Diana have got this place spot on. They make everything themselves, from macarons to delicious fruit tarts. We had their PROPER homemade pineapple kombucha, an espresso, and a pan au chocolate. The croissant held together brilliantly and is not crumbly and burnt like at pan & Kof.fee. It was moist with proper butter. There is free parking behind the cafe and conveniently placed adjacent to a lovely yoga studio. They have free wifi and power sockets for people wanting to escape their offices. It is great to see new places like this popping up and is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back soon!

While the ice cream steals the show—especially the Belgian chocolate variety—the menu also boasts delicious Japanese dishes like gyoza and ramen, which are definitely worth trying. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making every visit enjoyable.

Love this bakery and ferment place. The food and kombucha are delicious. They have an extensive selection of kombucha like Jamaica. Their sourdough loaves are the best in town. We devoured one in a few days and will be getting bread only here from now on. We love that you can buy a bottle of kombucha to take home and enjoy over the week. My favourite place in Mérida to chill with a coffee. The atmosphere in the garden is exactly what I want from a coffee shop: it's calm, inviting and very laid back. Utterly perfect. The pizza is delicious and the bread products of the highest quality. (My favourite is the brilliantly named Celia Cruz). You can even have a private party there if you ask ever so nicely.

Merida's Secret Garden This outdoor café is absolutely fabulous! Food is all organic and delicious and healthy (in perfect proportions I might add, so you don't need to feel buyer's guilt when you're finished eating it!). I also love that the menu constantly rotates and changes and evolves, which keeps you on your feet and not complacent or "settled." The atmosphere is calm and just magical at night with all the lights around. Various people come and go throughout the day here, and the overall vibe is chill, mellow, relaxed. You can just spend a nice quiet afternoon enjoying the breeze or even a book (the background music isn't so intrusive). Monique, the owner, has a heart of gold. The profits from her café are given to various causes and charities for populations in need! As for a more personal experience, when I had to have a tooth implant procedure, Monique afterwards made me a special soup (NOT on the menu!) for two days in a row that was exactly perfect for recovery, just what the doctor ordered (See below)! Monique has served me lots of delicious experimental dishes which I cannot begin to recommend enough, all organic, all healthy! She's definitely a hidden gem of Merida in her own right, delicious café- food and drink notwithstanding! Also shout-outs to Lucy and Yoli who are also the life of this café! Apologies in advance if I haven't spelt your names correctly! ❤️❤️❤️ Needless to say, I cannot recommend this place enough. Great atmosphere, great people, great food and drink, a unique and absorbing experience for people from all walks of life, all situations and contexts. Also a great place to warm up to the city! Highly highly recommend!

If you like good coffee, organic gourmet desserts and homemade bread this is your place! Wow! This small business puts out the best! Thank you Chan Cham!

I love the environment at Chan Cham encougment. It’s a really relaxed place. My favorite thing to eat is the Panque and the prices are really cheap for an organic cafe.

(Translated by Google) It's a small, cozy, and cozy space. I went to get something to eat with my husband. I visited in the evening and it was very relaxing. The coffee was a bit disappointing, but the service was very good so I didn't mind too much. Next time, I’d like to try a different menu.

The girls are super friendly and warm, the place is really cute, and they also make cakes and muffins. I hope to try them soon! ✨ (The coffee is delicious) (Original) Pase por dos cafés de emergencia para llevar, y solamente el tiempo que estuve ahí me encantó. (Translated by Google) I had an emergency cake made for 50 people, and they had it ready overnight. I received incredible service. From the guy at the counter to the owner, my respects. The cake was delicious, a penguin-style chocolate cake. All my guests loved it. The consistency, flavor, and decoration were excellent. I highly recommend them. Pastry shop
La Pâtisserie Paris is a french patisserie that specializes in delicious pastries. The pastry shop has been praised by many for its exquisite pastries, and it is definitely worth checking out if you're in Merida. You can choose from six different pastries when you visit, and they all taste incredible.
I discovered a gem today. The presentation of the pastries are wonderful and second to none that I have seen in Merida. I also bought a banquette which I took a bite out of in my car, talk about the real thing! Was so good I immediately went back in to buy another one. I'm shocked by all these people saying the prices are high for what you get. If you want to stuff your face for cheap then go buy some donuts from a supermarket as this place is not for you. Quality pastries take a lot of time, quality ingredients and attention to detail which this place has it all. You get what you pay for. You want big portions for next to nothing, loaded with sugar and no taste then stick to your supermarket pastries. I have finally found a top notch pla e for baguettes and amazing and delicious deserts, thank you!

We came to try this place, it does not exist. We were here at 09:21 in the morning, 14/13/2024. So it is not a coffee shop anymore...🤔😞 We really wanted a morning coffee with these nice cakes.....

(Translated by Google) Indeed very good "patisserie" but the prices are not justified, understand that Mérida is NOT Paris, neither the salaries, nor the social contributions, nor the income nor the cost of inputs are comparable to have prices like Cedric Grolet. Mérida has become an overrated city.
