The Bayreuther Brauhaus offered a more floral and spicy character, beautifully balanced between malt and hop profiles. Truly a treat for beer lovers! What’s fun is that it’s BYOF - Bring Your Own Food (not BYOB like Gurgaon). We grab our food from the next door, Tyrus - and it does not disappoint! We had the Döner platter packed with rice, fries, shawarma, fresh veggies, crispy falafel, and soft bread. Flavorful, filling, and a perfect match for the beer. A relaxed, satisfying combo of refreshing brews and bold flavors. If you’re ever in Potsdam you could try this place too.

I think the place is kinda nice and the prices are fair but already two times a waitress has been extremely rude to us. I have never experienced this level of unfriendliness in a bar. I dont understand why someone who hates people would work in a place like this.

The cocktail list was a dream of creative inventions with super cool drink names. Nice atmosphere, great staff. It's a bit hidden in the second row of the main street. Outdoor seating is available as well. I'm definitely gonna be back.

Was not there for very long. Went in for a quick drink but I liked what I saw. Nice ambienece, great cocktails (I had the Jump Up And Kiss Me), friendly and knowledgeable staff who speak both German and English. Would definitely be interested in going back.

probably one of the best cocktails bars I have ever been to. two things I have to say: one, the Barkeeper are incredible competent and knowledgeable. you can ask them for anything that comes to your mind. tell them your favourite cocktail and request a new interpretation, you won't be disappointed. I wanted some Margheritas, they presented me with two new and improved, way more complex versions of the basic Margherita compositions. I can probably never drink a 'sinple' Margherita again. second, the bar itself is exactly how you need a bar. great ambience, good seating, not too loud, good air-conditioning, great restroom. 6 out of 5, can recommend to anyone.

One of the best bars in Potsdam - everybody I brought so far liked or even loved it :) seasonally they change their menu, but they also have a default one. If you don't find the drink you desire, just ask the extremely competent and friendly staff to mix it for you. Apart from that, it's also amazing to know, that they prepare almost all non-alcoholic ingredients by themselves - orange or lime juice are for instance daily squeezed freshly and essences, tinctures or syrups are prepared by them as well. Moreover they try to reduce waste and use glass straws and relinquish useless decorations :)

Probably one of the best cocktail bar of Potsdam, and trust me there are not too much of them around. Plus they have great whiskey selection. Super cozy mood inside and covered from the top and heated outdoor high tables. Always a pleasure to visit. Prices are tiny bit expensive then regulars but the taste and the atmosphere is nothing of regular, so totally worth it.

Midway through our trip we needed a laundromat and stumbled upon this absolute gem. Waschbar is first and foremost a bar, but it also has 6 washing machines and a large dryer tucked in—so you can sip, play, and socialize while your clothes get clean. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the drinks were poured perfectly, and there were even games to keep us entertained while we waited. A special shoutout to the friendly local who helped us figure out the machines—such a great experience. Never thought I’d say this, but doing laundry here was a highlight of our trip!

Fantastic cocktails and awesome atmosphere! I was surprised to find such a hidden gem in Potsdam. You have to go through the front building into the backyard where you can sit outside, too. We paid €20.5 for one alcoholic and one non-alc cocktail. There's no menu here - you just tell the barkeeper your ideas and favorites. Absolutely love that concept! I usually fail when I don't have cocktail names for the barkeeper...I had to deduct one star for attitude, unfortunately. The barkeeper seriously got angry at me for wanting Bailey's or similar stuff in my cocktail. Apparently, that's against every barkeeper's pride. Well, good to know. I didn't get an alternative suggestion for my sweet tooth either and felt offended for the rest of the night for liking chocolate. Will come back and let my friends order for me ;).

I really liked it. The atmosphere is lively and friendly. They have long tables, which are ideal for large gatherings. However, the tables are also shared. The restrooms are clean. It’s not very suitable for spending time alone, it’s more of a social place. On some days, there’s live music, so it’s worth checking the dates before going. It’s a good spot for cocktails and beer. We felt that the quality of the cocktails tends to drop when it gets crowded.

Whenever I am in Potsdam I make it a point to visit. First visited in 2016 when we found the place by accident. It is hidden but easy to find on the main street. Amazing vibe with great food and beer offering. Ideal for a great time with a group friends or colleagues. Reservation is a must for the tables outside, which are popular during summer. I love the inside more because of the unique, rustic design and look.

We went here on a weekday and absolutely loved the cocktails — we had a Long Island Iced Tea and an Adios Motherfucker. Both were strong and full of flavor, just the way we like them. On the weekend though, the Long Island Iced Tea didn’t feel quite as strong (by the way, it’s listed as “ice tea” but it’s actually made with Coke — we switched it to Sprite). We ended up ordering an extra shot. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around €10 each. Staff were polite and welcoming. The tables are large and shared, and while it does get busy, there’s a quick turnover so you can usually find a spot. We heard they sometimes have live music, and the restrooms were clean. Overall, a lively spot with good vibes — just be aware the drinks might vary a bit between weekday and weekend.

Good place to have nice beverages and tasty burgers. The waitress was friendly and nice so if you want to have nice time somewhere in Potsdam it’s perfect place for it!

After a long day of sightseeing, we found Kneipe Hafthorn — a really great, tucked-away spot with a huge selection of beer, good food, a sunny courtyard, and super welcoming staff. An oasis after a full day of touring. Go here for a laid-back, relaxing drink, honest food, and genuinely good people. We’ll be back!

First of all the discount with the Berlin welcome card is a bit of a scam, we learned after meal that we have to tell the staff beforehand that we have the card. So we didnt get the discount. This is not told anywhere. Well the food is as good as you can excpect from a place line this, the aspargus just overdone. Matjes good. Currylentils good with overcooked rice. The local beer is very good. This could have been a nice meal but the owner choose it not to be. There is no point in walking here when you can eat betyer att the mill restaurant, where i will ear next time

Poor service with unfriendly staffs here wanted to put 1 star but Mr. Gigi changed our mind that we enjoyed our food more. He smiled all the time while he was working and was the only person who welcomed and served us with the friendly polite vibe. To run a Restaurant could not have only one friendly staff with service mind. The rest of the service should start to smile and love the job they do more than what we experienced. Otherwise it’s hard to comeback.

I was a bit disappointed by the service. I arrived after a long walk and I asked for a cappuccino. As I had ordered the cappuccino, I was told that I cannot pay with card and that it has to be cash. Live music happens at weekends, friendly staff makes you feel comfortable and always puts a smile on my face everytime I see the "soup of the day" sign. It would be great if the bar would be bigger not placed just in the middle and the decoration would be more of wooden (like floors would be awesome if they were not tiles but woods) etc.

Nice Irish Pub with authentic atmosphere, good music, the standard choice of beer and a huge variety of whiskeys from all over the world. The staff is always kind, the interior has seen better days, but if you wanna enjoy a nice pint of Guinness (or several :p) while singing along some Irish music, this is definitely the best place in Potsdam to go. Don't forget to book a table if there's live music in the evening :)

It's cosy and often has entertainment on weekdays (even if it is rubbish, it's still entertainment if you wanna call it that) But a lot of the time the service is slow. Even when it's time to pay when you need to leave they are so slow at serving. Need to pay more attention to speed and efficiency just like a real Irish pub would. Also, if you are there late at night the staff and management will smoke at the bar which is plain rude and unhealthy. €5.50 for a Guinness that tastes nothing like the real Guinness. I feel bad for the locals who don't know any better. Also, avoid the snacks on offer. Staff don't wash their hands after handling money etc and then go and make your Nachos. The way they wash the glasses is also disgraceful, in plain view of customers too. Health and safety is ignored in that sense. Disgusting.

One of my favourite places for an affordable drink in Potsdam. The owner (who serves you himself) is a true sweetheart! He knows everything about whiskey, it's his wildest passion! He bought the bar out of his love for Irish pubs, not for becoming rich with it, and you can tell from the décor. He'll always make time to give you honest advice which drink to take. If it's an empty week night make sure to have him sit down for a chat with you!

I arrived there for one night and with a car. I could easily park underneath for a price and the room was really nice. The staff is helpful and friendly and I can only recommend staying there! Breakfast was also delicious and rich. One thing to feedback, at night the AC wasn’t working as well as it did during the day and as a pregnant woman I could hardly sleep during the heatwave.

Even though this hotel is a bit off of the beaten path, in that it's not as close to the old town, it's incredibly convenient and in walking distance to Sanssouci Palace. They have a small sauna area, and breathtaking views of Potsdam from their gardens. Breakfast is also amazing, with a plethora of options and local dishes. I wish I had stayed here another night for the breakfast alone! The only real downside was that our rooms were on the third floor and there is no elevator to bring your suitcases up. While staff was available to help bring our suitcases up to the room, they were unable to help us bring them down, which meant that I was lugging heavy suitcases down three winding sets of stairs.

Staff were welcoming and warm-hearted. Location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was awesome, like that of a four star. The well-maintained villa was tastefully decorated, charming and elegant. Best of all, guests could rest in the garden chairs, enjoying the quiet and idyllic atmosphere.

Beautiful old building with comfortable rooms, and nice view over potsdam. The fiendly staff put together a great vegan breakfast upon request, with home-made spreads! One point I found to criticize is that the details for wifi connection were not readily available in the room.
