We were there a Sunday evening. Not the best time but it was an okay pub. Not that many beer to choose from but on an everage level. The chicken wings were good, a bit hot so maybe use a but of paper when you hold them. No looks on the toilets. Nice staff.

What can I say. If you wanna try something really Spanish, not a fancy invention whatsoever, this is your place. Food was on point, authentic and delicious. I even asked myself to the waiter if the owner/cooker was Spanish because the Ali oli felt like home. I can't wait to go back, staff 10/10 and food delicious and well presented. Must do if nearby!

Favorite place to have dinner in the city!! Amazing menu, huge variety of dishes, everything I tried was delicious. If you go there, order shrimps with dates, it's sooo worth it. The interior is very modern and has its own charm, staff are always polite, friendly and can recommend you a good tapas in case you are lost choosing. Drinks are good as well. I've been going to Alex Magdeburg for the past two weeks while I've been traveling there for work. I've been really impressed with the place. The food selection is great, with a lot of options to choose from. I've tried the chicken schnitzel and the Ugly Butchers burger, and both were delicious. The atmosphere is also really nice, with a great outdoor area. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Jasmin and Nicola have both taken great care of me, and they have amazing energy. I would highly recommend Alex Magdeburg to anyone visiting Magdeburg. I know that I'll be going back at least once a week for the next four months.

Great food. The outdoor seating is without the Corona test. The service by Janine was polite and good. She could speak in English which is always a plus for me as someone who doesn't speak German too well. The vegetarian burger was really filling and excellent for dinner option. We also ordered the fries on the side which cost extra but were pretty good. We had to ask to reheat the fries but that was also complied to in about 6 minutes. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were pretty good. Would definitely recommend for an excellent eating out experience.

The paella was rich and satisfying, just like homemade. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with beautiful decor that makes you feel like you’re dining in Spain. Very disappointing variety of food at the sundays buffet. It's way too expensive, the food is almost cold and of low quality. You have the choice between 3 different kinds of potatoes, unknown fish in tomato sauce, two kinds of meat and penne with tomato sauce. Overall not a great experience and I recommend not going there for the buffet, as it is a total rip off.

Went to the restaurant with a big group of workmates for dinner. We placed our order and I asked for a rare stake. I then was given a medium to well done steak and when I questioned that it wasn't rare I was told that in German that means Medium. That wasn't good enough we had German speakers there who translated and told them this was not the case. I was then argued with rather than offered a new steak. It was not a great experience at all.

Einen Stern muss ich leider dennoch Abziehen, da die Billard Tische wohl schon ein paar mehr Jahre auf dem Buckel haben. Das sieht man und merkt es leider auch beim Spielen, was durchaus zu ärgerlichen Situationen beim Spiel führen kann. Beim letzten Besuch hatten wir einen Tisch, bei welchem an einer der Mitteltaschen ein Loch im Netz war. Da sind die Kugeln nach dem einlochen dann gern mal rausgefallen. Bei den Tischen müsste also mal nachgebessert werden. Immerhin sind diese DAS worum es geht, wenn man ins Billardhouse geht. The staff was drinking the whole time and gambling with each other. I think there were maybe 5-6 of them. They took 30-45 minutes to bring drinks for my group. It took so long, that two people left the bar early. When drinks finally arrived, drinks for 3 people were left out. We shuffled around and traded so that the two drinks for people who’d left would be consumed by two of us who didn’t receive our orders (mind you, it was just supposed to be a rum and cola, nothing that requires 30 minutes) and I went to the bar to purchase the 3rd drink that was missing from our order. At first, staff tried to dismiss me saying they’d bring it to the table, but at this point, we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible so I asked that they could make the rum and cola in front of me, because I didn’t want to wait another half hour for a single beverage. There was an ale on tap which is appreciated and fairly uncommon for Germany but after ordering a pint it took over ten minutes for the beer to be served because the - otherwise also somewhat grumpy - waitress found it more important to chat with some friends at the bar. The food I ordered was okay but considering it took about forty minutes to be served wasn't really worth the wait.
