Hotel
Nestled in Lima's vibrant Miraflores Larcomar cultural district, Hilton Lima Miraflores is a sophisticated hotel offering modern amenities and professional service. The minimalist guestrooms blend subtle Peruvian Colonial elements with contemporary design, providing a nod to the city's rich history. Guests can enjoy expertly-mixed cocktails at the low-lit Social or indulge in Peruvian and international cuisine at the onsite restaurant and bar.
Amazing hotel with incredibly clean rooms and beautiful views. We had initially planned to stay here for most of our trip, but had a change in itinerary - I wish we had stuck to the original plan! This hotel was breathtaking. Food options for room service were plentiful and delicious. We had to leave early for a flight, and the staff provided us with a boxed to go lunch with so many delicious options too. We hope to be back to visit!

Loved the room. Spacious and impeccably clean. The staff professional and helpful. And the restaurant/bar is exceptional. Breakfast was so wonderful and beautifully presented. I would recommend this as somewhere to stay. A short walk to Larcomar and other attractions.

Great Stay in a Beautiful Neighborhood Hilton Miraflores is a great hotel. The location is fantastic—set in a safe and charming neighborhood. My room with a balcony was spacious and comfortable, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view. The executive lounge was a great bonus, with a pleasant atmosphere and a decent selection of food and drinks throughout the day. What truly stood out was the staff’s helpfulness. After I accidentally left something behind in the room, they helped to locate it and ensure it was safely handed over to my colleague. Thanks to the helpful staff!

Wow just got back from a tour and went to our room ,my wife was so surprise the room was dressed up for her birthday with a Big Block of chocolate cake. Everyone is on point.. We still have 4 days left. Hotel is super clean and rooms are too. Walking to lots of things to do. I will continue with a 2nd post when we leave Let me just say make sure you stay here, they have a guy opening the door for u all day and night , staff hook us up with a anniversary surprise in our room.. just booked your stay here for comfort, good food and drinks and safe location

Alexis made my check-in experience absolutely seamless. He was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome right away. His kindness and efficiency set the tone for a wonderful stay! I truly appreciated his hospitality
Mia G — Google review
Location and service is excellent. Overall I like it and advise. But the doors of wardrobe in the room is not convenient, it is heavy and when you open it closes the main entrance and bath entrance. As an addition, despite i told the room number entering the breakfast, a staff came soon and asked it again. There is no matter with that, but the matter is while I am on a phone call they insist to get an answer. You can wait until the phone call finishes I guess.

Service from Saletty at the reception was absolutely amazing. As a Hilton gold member(I saw many diamond members there), she remembered me every time she sees me and even called my room when she saw that I left wanting to ask something at the reception but did not want to wait. However service from the other staffs were lukewarm at best. I also cannot believe a Hilton group hotel doesn't have a water refilling point and charges for water. Luckily I was given free bottled waters as a Hilton Gold member. The room was nothing extraordinary but nothing bad as well. I had a pretty good view despite not being near enough to the ocean.

I hosted an event at Hilton Lima Miraflores and the experience was fantastic. The venue is modern and well equipped, staff were professional and attentive, and the service exceeded expectations. A great choice for business gatherings, conferences, or special events in lima

Hotel
Country Club Lima Hotel is a refined and elegant lodging option, featuring antique-filled rooms, an upscale restaurant, a piano bar, and a spa. The hotel has recently undergone a remodel overseen by an Argentine interior designer, respecting the original 1927 architecture while introducing chic limeno elements. With spacious layouts and vaulted ceilings in its 83 guestrooms, the hotel offers beautiful accommodations. Despite some noise issues experienced by guests due to nearby events, the staff is described as friendly and very helpful.
An absolute must stay when in Lima experience. A great, grand, old-school hotel with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Elegant and casual, never pretentious, this hotel is probably one of the best I have stayed in. As charming as the people who work here, the Country Club Lima Hotel has an excellent restaurant with delightful indoor and outdoor dining, with a menu full of incredible and delicious Peruvian cuisine. Everyone on the floor and in the kitchen will do whatever they can to satisfy your taste buds for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Room service is also splendid, and staff are excellent. Housekeeping and laundry services are available and are also as good as everyone else in this great hotel. If you're visiting Lima, you simply must visit this hotel.

Amazing experience, huge comfortable room and patio, and friendly, courteous staff. My husband and I felt like royalty the whole time. The fitness and pool area are small but worked well. The lobby is stunning. Everything in our room was perfect. The spa was beyond luxurious and I got the best massage I’ve ever had!
Hannah R — Google review
The hotel is grand. Super nice old building, nice entrance, lobby, rooms. Unfortunately it is massively let down by the poor service from check in to cleaning. The cleaner left the used glasses in the room and the used towels in the bath. We asked for drinks that never came. So it could have been much better.

Great service overall .. Very high level of customer service.. and top notch experience. The restaurant is amazing! Breakfast service was excellent including the staff.

Here’s a revised version of your hotel review that keeps it professional, honest, and helpful to other guests: ⸻ Everything else about this hotel is truly exceptional — from the service and cleanliness to the amenities, it’s a solid 5-star experience. However, there’s one major drawback that really impacted our stay: directly behind the hotel is an open-air sports complex, just about 15 feet away. It’s active from 8 AM to 11 PM daily, with loud basketball games, shouting, and children screaming throughout the day and into the night. Unfortunately, the noise travels easily, making it hard to relax, especially in the evenings even with outside double doors closed. The hotel is otherwise wonderful, but they really need to find a solution to this issue — soundproofing, scheduling limits, or at least notifying guests in advance would make a huge difference.
Mike S — Google review
Very nice hotel in San Isidro, close to the golf club. Excellent service, nice and spacious rooms. Offers everything a five star hotel should have. Nice and safe neighborhood (even at night) walking distance to Astrid y Gaston (excellent restaurant).
Markus S — Google review
Very nice food. Lovely venue. But oh my God the bread, the long twisty one in particular... Outstanding.
John L — Google review
I am not sure what it was, but I got a weird vibe when I stayed here. Don’t get me wrong; the hotel itself is beautiful, and the first impression of the lobby and my room (garden suite) were excellent. It felt like a well deserved reward to myself for having just completed the Inca Trail. The hotel itself is a ‘Leading Hotel of the World’ and it looks the part. It reminds me of the Raffles Hotel in Singapore or the Yale Club in NYC. The room was large and well appointed. The hotel bar was wood-paneled with a clubby feeling. They serve excellent Pisco Sours. The restaurant was a nice place for a late dinner, and the food was good. But here is my constructive criticism. Each item is not that big of a deal on it’s own, but viewed as a group, they may portend some deeper problems: 1. I specifically booked a Garden Suite so that I could enjoy a quiet cocktail in my garden in the evenings. Unfortunately, the room backed onto a school, and the noise from some sort of after school activities well into the early evening made it impossible to sit outside (or even open my patio door). To be fair, when I told the front desk about the noise, they did offer to change my room. But I thought ‘no problem’, I’ll just put up with the sound in the evening and enjoy my quiet coffee there in the morning. But to my surprise, loud ‘welcome to school’ music started at around 7am… so that didn’t happen. I felt that I wasted my money booking this type or room and will not do so again. 2. When I checked-in the staff went out of their way to tell me the breakfast hours at the restaurant. The next morning I went in and gave the staff my room number. They acknowledged this and showed me a seat. I served myself from the buffet. When I went to leave, a server chased after me, telling me that I had to pay for breakfast. I told her that that I was staying at the hotel and was pretty sure my room rate included breakfast. I would check with the front desk and return to pay if needed. Rather than trust me, the server followed me to the desk with the check in hand and stood behind me while I spoke to the receptionist (theme here - see below). The front desk informed me that breakfast was not included with my reservation, and that there was absolutely no solution other than me paying the bill. That was odd. This was literally the first hotel in Peru to not include breakfast as part of the room fee, and I had understood that them telling me the breakfast hours when I checked-in implied that breakfast was included. In addition, in the morning, no one at any time handed me a menu or informed me of the cost for the breakfast buffet prior to presenting me with the check after I had finished eating. This is an odd way to treat a guest at a ‘leading hotel’. Maybe ‘sorry for the misunderstanding and here’s a discount’ would have been a nice gesture. 3. Upon checking out and paying for my incidentals (and being asked if I had anything from the mini-bar), I went back to my room to collect a couple of personal items. I was surprised to find the door open and a man in the room. He told me he was checking the mini-bar for usage. What sort of ‘leading hotel’ doesn’t not trust their guests to be honest about mini-bar usage? Besides, I had left some value things in the room and I didn’t need a random guy in there ‘checking’ on things with the door wide open. My final impression: The hotel is beautiful as are the rooms. But I got weird vibes off the staff. With some exceptions (my waiter at dinner the first night of my stay was very good, for example) I did not feel as welcome here as I have felt at all the other hotels I have experienced in Peru, especially given the premium price. Either they didn’t think I was a ‘premium’ guest, or they haven’t been trained properly in the hospitality business. I have a favorite hotel in Miraflores with an excellent and welcoming host (who does not check my mini-bar on the way out!), and I will probably stay there the next time I am in Lima. Service matters, especially at this price point.

Nestled in the heart of Lima, the Sheraton Lima Historic Center is a luxurious haven that perfectly blends modern comfort with historical charm. Guests can indulge in swanky rooms and suites, many featuring balconies that offer stunning city views. The hotel boasts two delightful restaurants, including Bravo Restobar, which serves an enticing buffet showcasing both international and Peruvian cuisine.
Location, location, location!!! This hotel is in the middle of the historic center, in close proximity to nice restaurants and it’s connected to a mall. We took advantage of their inside bar. They had great music and cocktails. We book a regular room and got an upgrade to a junior suite. We loved our stay in this beautiful and trendy hotel.

My husband and I had a great time here! The staff and service here was amazing. A huge thank you to Hector and the restaurant chef for accommodating my dietary restrictions, to Katia for going out of her way to recommend restaurants to us in the area and to Ann11 for recommending one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The rooms were also clean and comfortable! Definitely would come back here in the future.
Ridhdhi D — Google review
Great room. Comfortable. Would have been nice to have some body wash in the shower rather than two conditioners. I would have given five stars, except that in a Sheraton do you expect all these little things to be taken care of. There was a small tube of lotion, but not even a shower cap. Their description says balcony, but a locked door out onto a small inaccessible veranda. Porter staff was wonderful. Things we requested can quickly to the room. The other drawback and reason for not receiving five stars is that the front desk staff was not very knowledgeable knowledgeable. We asked one young lady if there was an airport shuttle bus and she didn't know. Didn't ask anyone else either, so I did. Asked another young lady if there was a water filter machine. She said no, but there was one right around the corner from her desk. Nice stay and I would recommend. Great location.
Jan S — Google review
We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed it: 1. Safe & Convenient Location – We always felt safe. The area is lively, with lots of people around since it’s right by a large mall. Plenty of options for food, shopping, and just walking around. 2. Hotel & Rooms – The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms are comfortable and definitely up to Sheraton standards. Everything in the room worked well and made our stay easy. 3. Staff & Service – This was the highlight! From the front desk to the restaurant, the staff were fantastic — always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Breakfast was just as good as other Sheratons we’ve stayed at, and the lounge happy hour was great (don’t miss the local cocktails!). 4. Transportation – Very convenient. Uber and Cabify rides were always available and fast, no matter the time of day. Public buses, including the express ones, are right nearby if you want to give them a try. Overall, a solid Sheraton experience — we’d definitely stay here again.
Lie D — Google review
Some of the staff great, professional, helpful. Location great between old city to north and Miraflores to south. Access to a great gym. Big minus is the noise of the lifts/elevators. Be sure to get a room as far away as possible from them. Also the pool was closed and the rooms are tired, albeit clean and functional.
Stephen F — Google review
Good hotel with a great view of the Capitol building. Conveniently located next to a mall which has good dining and shopping options. Limited Walkability and traffic can get really bad during peak hours. The rooms even with renovations are a bit dated but very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing with a lot of different options
Arjun B — Google review
The walls are made of cardboard apparently, I could hear my neighbours taking shower, bathtub was old and dirty with the rotting silicone on the sides, that’s not standard you expect from one of the most expensive hotels in the city… location indeed is very good and service is alright. Other issue is the gym and swimming pool - opened only between 9 till 17 - why? If you are a tourist you go explore the city during a day - what a nonsense

I stayed Sheraton Lima Historic Center for 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great Bonvoy Elite member recognition. The Club Lounge had great quality of food and drinks. Special thanks to Jose in the Club Lounge for his hospitality. He really made my stay in Lima memorable. The hotel is walkable to many sightseeing places.

Casa Andina Premium Miraflores is a modern 4-star hotel located in the popular Miraflores district of the city. It offers 148 warmly-decorated rooms and suites, each equipped with comfortable beds, large LCD TVs, and luxurious bathroom amenities. The hotel features an indoor heated rooftop pool with a waterfall feature, a modern fitness center, full-service salon, and free valet parking.
My birthday celebration was here. The hotel brought me 2 slices of chocolate cake and a card, surprising me upon my room service addition for a great birthday wish. Rooms beautifully maintained, close to the boutique side of town and restaurants close within walking distance.

The hotel is really nice located. Due to my travel I had the opportunity to stay 3 times. The first time the room was fantastic super big with incredible beds, and toilet was beautiful with an amazing shower. The second and third time I had different rooms, the beds were still amazing and the space of the room really good, although the shower and toilet didn’t look that good and the shower was old fashion and spilled everywhere. Another inconvenient was the key card, that didn’t work for the elevator. We had to change them multiple times and still the issue was there. On a positive note the personal of the hotel is very kind and willingly to help. I hope for the future they could fix the key situation and improve the shower in the different rooms.

In early July, 2025, I stayed at the Casa Andina Premium Miraflores, in Lima. I was visting for a few days, for an academic conference. The airport pickup service was fantastic. The driver was courtueous and kind. In planning trip details and then also making arrangements while I was there, the Concierge service was excellent. The staff were so kind and good at their job. It is a somewhat older hotel. But that is part of what I found comfortable including, for example, some of the older woodwork in the rooms. The food provided at the in-hotel dining room was superb, not to mention the amazingly generous breakfast. I found the gym and spa services great and very helpful. The next time I am in Lima, I would definitely plan on staying there again.

What a great hotel in a great location.  I stayed here on my vacation to Lima and loved how nice this place was. The staff were super accommodating, friendly, funny, and always helpful. The rooms are grand. Very spacious, super comfortable beds, excellent showers with plenty of room to move around, and a great view of the city. One of the best parts is the location. Plenty of shops, stores, and restaurants around to walk to safely. And close enough to get to any sights you're looking to visit. I'll surely be staying here again on my next trip.

We enjoyed our experience here so much! The manager Tito helped us solve some problems. We will always come back every time we go to Lima. We come about five times a year. I’d highly recommend this hotel.
Poppy V — Google review
Yeah, the location's awesome, but that's about it. The rooms are old and gross. The carpets are disgusting, and the whole place needs a makeover. The front desk people are rude and useless. Our room wasn't ready, and nobody helped with our bags. The pool's warm, but tiny and needs a scrub, just like the roof – you can barely see the sun! This ain't a five-star hotel, not even close. There are tons of better places to stay in Lima. Don't bother wasting your time or money here.
Pierre B — Google review
We stayed for 6 nights at these properties, both on arrival to Lima and then Cusco and back to Lima fornour return. I will say the concierge staff especially Miguel and Francisco were exceptionally great the front desk and service leaves a lot to be desired, not a good experience. The rooms are old and outdated, the amenities non existent and premium is NOT what you will get. It's more along the lines of an old Holiday Inn. The location is great however, very city Centric nice places to walk too and very convenient for the airport and lots of nice nearby restaurants.
Marilyn F — Google review
The building isnt sound proofed so we could hear the bussle of the city. Thwy also didn't give free breakfast and didn't allow us to stay 3 adults to a 2 bed room. No hot tub access as they make reservations for 1 hour at a time. Overall lame excuse of a luxury hotel, they definitely nickel and dime you for the small things.

The Holiday Inn Lima Airport offers comfortable accommodations with a restaurant, private parking and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. It is located just 1.3 mi from Playa La Estrella. The staff is attentive and welcoming.
I'm surprised this is only rated a 3 star on Google. We booked a last-minute stay at the Holiday Inn because we needed to be close to the airport for an early tour pickup. Our flight landed around 1am, and within 5 minutes of speaking to someone at the designated pickup counter (clear instructions were provided in advance), we were on the free airport shuttle. The driver was friendly and attentive, helping us with our luggage both on and off the shuttle. From the moment we arrived, every staff member greeted us warmly. The front desk team was accommodating to our needs, and every person we interacted with offered a genuine smile. The service at breakfast truly exceeded expectations. There was a wide variety of options, including fresh juices (even green juice!), and the staff constantly ensured everything was refilled. Arranging the return shuttle to the airport was just as seamless. We stayed in a king-sized room that was spotless. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the bed was made to perfection. I’m very particular about bedsheets and how they're folded, and this was truly top-notch. Overall, the hospitality and attention to detail made for a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

Probably the best stay I have ever had at a Holiday Inn. I had a quick overnight stay after flying into Lima late at night. The hotel shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient and smooth. I was able to schedule an early morning shuttle ride back to the airport and it brought me back to the airport smoothly and on time. The room was comfortable. It was however a bit loud with the traffic on the streets. The best part was the breakfast buffet that starts at 4am. All the food was already ready. The staff also provided options for eggs and omelets cooked on the spot. I would come back just for the breakfast.
Rachel L — Google review
We had a truly fantastic experience at Holiday Inn Lima Airport. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel restaurant deserves a special mention, the food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Every meal felt like a treat, and their service made each visit to the restaurant a highlight of our stay. The hotel is also in a perfect location if you have a connecting flight the airport is just a few minutes away, and the hotel’s free shuttle service was prompt, efficient, and got us there right on time. It took a lot of the stress out of travel and made our transit experience so much smoother. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the entire property was peaceful and well-maintained. This hotel truly offers a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and top-quality service. Thank you to everyone at this Hotel for going above and beyond we’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a worry-free, pleasant stay near the airport!

I stayed here for an quick overnight layover at the Lima airport. The hotel is a ways away from the new airport terminal, but they offer a free shuttle service that was very simple to navigate. The level of service from the hotel staff (quite literally everyone I interacted with) was incredible; its the level of service I'd expect from a top-end luxury hotel, not usually a Holiday Inn. And the breakfast spread was easily the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel.
Jonathan S — Google review
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were amazing! The breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient close to the airport. This is our default place for Lima.

Probably the best Holiday Inn experience I’ve had. Room was clean & spacious. Service was excellent. Particularly the two gentleman that served me at the restaurant last night. I’m sorry I don’t remember his name but he seemed to run the kitchen & bar. Made food suggestions & provided amazing customer service. The breakfast buffet was pretty good too. They also offered omelettes to order. I definitely recommend! —although it is 10 minutes from the airport. I thought it was closer but they do provide a shuttle & it seems to be prompt every 30 minutes. I missed it 3 minutes after the hour.

An excellent experience. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from the Lima international airport. Provides free shuttle service to and from the airport every 30 minutes. Concierge 24 hours. Reception staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is open from 4am in the morning, for the early morning flights. Food selection is fantastic, with lots of options for hot food.

This hotel is great for flying in or out of Lima. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and professional. The airport shuttle was organized and convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The best part was the helpful staff everywhere - breakfast, check in, room service, etc.

Hostal El Patio Miraflores is a charming inn located just steps away from the lively Parque Kennedy in Miraflores. Housed in a colonial-era mansion, it features warmly decorated rooms and suites with cast-iron beds and colonial-style art. The Andalucian-style courtyard, filled with tropical plants and a fountain, provides a relaxing oasis for guests. The inn offers free breakfast with local touches, such as tropical fruit salad and olive spread.
This hotel is fantastic. A beautiful,old-style layout with a beautiful patio and upstairs open lounge and gathering place. The owner, John was very good on communicating. We contacted him from the USA a few months prior to our visit and over time he helped us with answers to questions on transfer from the airport, restaurant recommendations and other questions. I definitely recommend this hostel!!
Tricia D — Google review
You get what you pay for; this hotel was alright. I was fortunate to be placed away from the main road. My friend was roomed right at the front of the building and had to deal with street noises and people noises all night long. She did not sleep well. The bed was pretty hard, and the pillows weren't great either. No AC. There was a standing fan, no ceiling fan. The staff were wonderful, but nothing else stands out. Perhaps a good option if you want cheap and can deal with discomfort. I personally need higher quality than this, but I'm not 20 years old anymore. I stayed here for a night because it is where my group was meeting up at, and am glad I only did one night here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hostal El Patio — 1 night, became 3, became 4, and we’ve left knowing where we’ll stay next time we’re in Lima! The staff were so sweet and friendly, as well as very helpful. We also appreciated the high level of cleanliness, cosy bedding (duvets and throws), and tasty breakfast included in our stay. Having a fridge and kettle in the room was a great bonus too. Highly recommend — for plant and cat lovers in particular!
Aileen M — Google review
This hotel did not live up to our expectations. Although the location was indeed premium, the rest was not. The rooms felt old and outdated, the sheets as well. The bathroom was as well, while the shower had a really weak water stream, it felt like showering under a faulty faucet. Also there was no common area where you could socialize. Breakfast was fine but nothing special; what they had was good quality but the size of the buffet was too small (no chocolate paste or meats or anything to put on the bread).
Tim C — Google review
Nice hotel in the middle of Miraflores with a beautiful courtyard and terraces. The rooms facing the courtyard are nice and quiet, all have a fan. The staff is really nice and helpful.
Thomas M — Google review
This was my favorite "hostal" in all of Peru. I wish I would have booked this place twice. The staff is really nice. The location is gated which makes you feel super safe. The location was the best in Miraflores. Breakfast was included which was unexpected. And lastly the property was really cute and very affordable. We stayed in the private rooms (I'm not sure if there even are dorms). They were also very accommodating when we had a late flight after checkout.
Michele L — Google review
The courtyard and second story are absolutely lovely and drove the rating. Our room was not large and no heat (which was fine). The front desk personnel were all attentive. The light breakfast was perfect and coffee so good with different fresh tropical juice every day. Not a Marriott which is just what we were looking for.
Jeff W — Google review
After a months sleeping in hostels of dubious cleanliness and safety it was amazing to come here. The staff are just so nice and the hotel is spotlessly clean with great breakfasts and loads of really cool common areas. They also have a really generous check in time (1pm) and checkout time (12pm). And they also let us use the common areas and store our bags when we had a 10pm bus which was really nice. I would really recommend this hotel.

The hotel features a courtyard, game room, and art gallery for guests to explore. Its proximity to Plaza San Martin and Plaza Norte Peru makes it an ideal base for exploring the area's attractions.
Great place to stay. I got a room with shared bath for 50 soles, which is 15 or 16 bucks. The room had a sink in it that was nice to, the wifi super fast and a really interesting hotel to stay in lots of character.

cheap price. It's clean enough. But strong odor of an old place . Treatment from the reception good. Security could be better. Internet ok more a less. It's really in the centre of Lima, but remember Lima is big depends where you want to go. Could be improved space for hang out, internet and the odor of the room .

B&B Wasi Aeropuerto Lima is a convenient property that provides a 24-hour airport shuttle and features amenities such as a pool table and terrace. Guests have praised the comfortable rooms and breakfast. It's located near popular attractions like Plaza Norte Peru and Ovalo Market of Huandoy. The B&B offers free WiFi in public areas, a restaurant, and a coffee shop/cafe. Despite being situated in a slightly sketchy neighborhood, guests felt safe at this location.
If you’re traveling on a budget, this is the perfect location for an overnight stay close to the airport. We arrived late (after midnight) after booking at the last minute. We were greeted and booked in quickly. The room was clean with private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable (I am very picky about this). The breakfast is served fresh and is a good size with fresh pressed papaya juice! The owners are friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we felt very safe at this location. They called a taxi for us in the morning. The ride to the airport was hilarious as drivers love to honk and cut off each other. This was a great start to our Peruvian adventure. Would definitely use again if needing a stay close to the Lima airport.

This is a good place for in transit stays or early morning flights. Liz the front desk person is very helpful and patient. With so many rude people out there everywhere as hotel staff the fact that Liz was courteous, helpful, and polite is enough to motivate me to go back in the future. I am usually in Peru at least twice per year starting many years ago. Also, the hotel obviously puts a lot of effort into cleanliness. This is very good as many simple hotels in Peru do the very minimum or less! The only constructive criticism I have is to possible change showers in drains to better flowing ones. Thank you for a nice stay!
John R — Google review
I highly recommend this hotel! The employee who worked at the front desk was kind and went above and beyond. She helped us print out our confusing covid declarations needed to board our bus. I also accidentally broke a glass decoration and she wasn't upset. The breakfast was pretty good. The room was clean and spacious. I felt safe. The 10 USD airport pickup was well worth it to avoid airport taxis.
Christopher K — Google review
This hostel is one of the best values for its price category. The rooms are tiny but very clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful. There are nice common areas including a very well equipped kitchen, a terrace and a billiard table. This is a nice b&b to spend the night if you want to stay very close to the airport at an affordable price.

Incredible hotel! Such a great place to stay if you have a flight the next day or if you are just arriving and want to relax. Super friendly staff, great breakfast and coffee, good WiFi and safe place. Better than those ridiculously overpriced hotels directly outside the airport. Only 5-10 minutes away. Oh and hot water for days!

First time travelers to a Spanish country. We speak almost no Spanish. Had a flight to Cusco canceled and booked this last minute. Arrived late (9:30pm) most roads closed (gates closed and you need to ask the guardian to open them) and a little stressful to find after dark if the driver doesn't know where you're going. Once we got there the staff was amazing. Friendly, spoke English well, and very accommodating. Paid in a combo of American and Soles, even. They gave us free water because they noticed we were a little stressed and even came to our room to offer us utensils because they noticed we came in with takeout. Clean room. Clean washroom. Quite. Wall were scuffed up a little, but who really cares about that at a hostel. I was very very happy. I suggest it to anyone who needs a place reasonably close to Jorge Chavez Airport.
Rob M — Google review
Great staff, extremely polite and helpful. They made a nice breakfast, helped order take it when I was tired, and arranged for safe taxes who could change USD to Soles with no fee. They had an airport shuttle that meet you after customs and took you back for $20 USD, too all major credit cards. The room was clean, not fancy, but comfortable. Mine had a larger shower, and the TV did get a few English channels. I would use them again.

Ayenda Casa Bella is a boutique hotel located in San Isidro, just 2 km from the beach. Offering rooms with balconies, the property also has free breakfast and free WiFi in public areas. Popular attractions including Kennedy Park and Plaza San Martin are only a short walk away.
A beautiful, peaceful, and cozy place to stay that feels like home away from home. What makes the Casa Bella stand out is its unparalleled hospitality, which provides a sense of comfort and ease that can be difficult to find while traveling. The front desk worked tirelessly to make sure I was able to get to the hotel safely, even in the midst of countless flight delays and a 3 AM arrival time. Michael and Laeder are truly so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The place is also beautifully decorated, located in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to a number of restaurants, and you can easily get an affordable Uber to other Lima attractions if need be. For breakfast, there is an assortment of fruit, bread, and custom-made eggs. Coffee and tea are available anytime. Rooms are clean and furnished with basic amenities and reliable WiFi. Highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

The hospitality provided by Michael is like none other! Cute place, felt right at home. Highly recommend.
Jody L — Google review
We stayed in a number of hotels during our time in Peru. This wasn't the best for easy walking to amenities. But it was by far the best. It was clean, quiet, and didn't smell. Due to the nature of Peru, you're very often subject to the whims of vehicle exhaust and noise. Car, train, truck, etc. This hotel is in a more affluent neighborhood with better maintained vehicles. So much quieter, and didn't stink of exhaust. Regarding hospitality, Michael was such a great guy and went above and beyond in a number of ways. If I was in town again,I'd absolutely stay here again.
Pete D — Google review
A comfortable, family home-style hotel in a graceful and quiet neighborhood, Casa Bella is pretty central to the spread out quadrant of Lima sites: the museums, historic center, Huaca Pucllana and the restaurants of Miraflores and Barranca, while Huaca Huallamarca is walking distance. What pushes Casa Bella to 5 stars is the attentive care of hotelier Michael “always on” Azuaje. We were THOSE people, the ones who caused trouble before (cancelled credit card), during (needed medical care, Michael arranged a super competent house call - 200 soles/$55) and after, when we extended our stay but weren’t sure for how long. He also took and paid for deliveries on our behalf when we weren’t there! Besides answering so many questions, arranging cars etc. Throughout, Michael made it seem like no fuss and a smooth (and healthy) visit for us was most important. A+ hospitality.
Jule G — Google review
The place was decent, ok location. Some ants in the bed, which was unpleasant. The biggest issue was the front desk called a taxi service (his friend) for us and they charged us over 3x the amount it should have been. It's disappointing to be reminded of how people take advantage of others.
Marka L — Google review
I really liked the place, the location is amazing and the staff friendly
David S — Google review
Sadly, because of the strikes going on in Cusco and the airport closing, we couldn't stay here. We called the hotel to help us modify our reservation (an hour after knowing the situation), but the person at the reception who answered the phone said that "they couldn't help us". We asked to contact the booking manager or someone else to help us, but the person at the phone denied it. Really disappointing.

(Translated by Google) I stayed on 2 occasions, both very good rooms and good breakfast. But the issue is the noises from other rooms are super annoying, you can't be there because of the screams and moans of couples having sex. I complained to reception and they did nothing. Every day the same thing from different rooms, a shame if you are staying with a family member. I advise you to wash the bathroom with bleach. On both occasions I got foot fungus that I had never had before. (Translated by Google) It is comfortable, clean, regular price. However, the treatment of the staff is terrible. They ask you all the time if you already leave the accommodation every time you leave (it is assumed that one has already paid for the service, because it is paid in advance) and they should not care if we leave earlier. They also keep reminding you that departure is at noon. They must train their staff, so that if they have doubts that users do not know the rules of a hotel, they must mention it when entering. And not inconvenience during the stay (Original) Es cómodo, limpio, precio regular.

Some things we didn't like: The intercom in the rooms is always under maintenance (2 years of maintenance 🤔) - They don't have something basic like bottled mineral water. - When they change shifts, the change is always pending and the staff on duty is not responsible. 👎👎. The costs are like a 3-star hotel, but it is lacking. I will be giving a better comment if I am invited to verify better management. Located in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and hospitality. Affordable rates and great location for me, near to beautiful and safe places to walk and the MAC. Highly recommend if you want to stay in the Barranco neighborhood. Clean common rooms and bedrooms, friendly and helpful people. Ask for breakfast so you can have a good start to the day, fresh bread and fruit with yogurt and granola, coffee or tea and eggs. Safe neighborhood and close to a lot. No postcards or post office in the area and if you are a light sleeper like me bring earplugs...some street noise and barking dogs but very calm over all.

The breakfast in the morning was delicious and healthy, and the location of the B&B is super convenient in the cool, artistic neighborhood of Barranco in Lima. Nice place, nice staff, and comfortable mattresses. Decent breakfast too. But we ordered a larger breakfast for which they overcharged, in my opinion. Note bathrooms are shared. Update September 2018: The third floor is a disaster. Don’t stay there. We paid more for a private bathroom and were given a tiny room that had dirty pillows, unswept floors, dirty toilet, and black mold in the walls. This was disappointing considering our previous two stays were good.

The froGuesthouse is the best place we have stayed at in Peru. Extremely comfortable beds, and cozy room. The staff is excellent amd very attentive. The kitchen is beautiful and has many appliances and excellent storage space for food. Lastly the included breakfast is lovely, and the location in Barranco is unbeatable as it is our favorite part of Lima, we wont forget our incredible experience at the froGuesthouse!

(Translated by Google) The advertisement said the hostel was in Barranco, but it was actually in Chorrillos, so we had to pay an extra fee of 10 soles to the taxi driver at the airport, who had already charged 60 soles to take us to Barranco. The hostel staff was very helpful. The room wasn't very clean and in the 4 days we stayed there, they didn't clean the room on any of the days, so we took the initiative to get a broom and clean it up a bit ourselves.

Very good time there. Would recommend for the communication, it was easy to contact the host via whatsapp. She received us very early because of our flight, booked us a driver for our arrival and departure. The room isn't the biggest but everything was clean. Good wifi connection too, but we hadn't much info about the breakfast, it was just sitting here waiting for us so don't forget to ask about it! Also : one of our only host to speak English in Perù. Would recommend !

La Tiendecita Blanca, established in 1937, is a renowned restaurant and café in Miraflores that offers a fusion of Swiss and European cuisines with Peruvian gastronomy. It is also known for its delightful pastry and dessert selection, including cakes, cupcakes, breads, quiches, and German apple pies. Whether you're craving coffee, sweets, chocolates or fondues, this charming place is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
While the oldest restaurant in Miraflores and probably one of the oldest in Peru the management is not resting on their laurels. To my total shock the other night I was hungry but I had my dog turns out they are now dog friendly. More importantly the food is of a high quality presentation is excellent and the service is five star all the way. They have music on Saturdays and Sundays in the evening great service, food and atmosphere all the time. All this does not come cheaply but as they say in life you get what you pay for. Here you pay a lot but you get a lot more.

The atmosphere inside is wonderful, relaxing and you feel as if you are experiencing a piece of Lima’s history. The food is very good, and the menu has a great selection to give you a taste of Peru. The team inside is very attentive and will make sure you have a wonderful experience. If you are in Kennedy Park or around Mira Flores, come here and enjoy!

This is a Swiss inspired restaurant in the Miraflores district of Lima that serves a large variety of European dishes including goulash, schnitzel and rosti. The restaurant also has a nice selection of breakfast items. Healthy options are available in the various bowls that are offered. Peruvian specialties such as ceviches and Peruvian potatoes can also be ordered in this establishment. I had the Peruvian potatoes and goulash and both items were fresh and delicious . The service staff was courteous and knowledgeable and some spoke a little English. The menu was available in Spanish and English. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and seating outside is a great place for people watching. I would definitely dine here again.

Quinoa Café is a charming spot in Peru that offers a variety of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Visitors appreciate the delicious smoothies and juices, as well as the availability of American/Australian style coffee. The café is known for its fresh produce and protein-packed meals, making it a great find for tourists seeking healthy options. While some find the café's offerings to be basic, others praise its cozy atmosphere, fast service, and reasonable prices.
This was the first place I was able to get a proper, full vegetarian meal without any issues since arriving in Peru 4 days earlier. Every item we ordered was delicious and everyone left satisfied with their meal. They have meat and vegetarian options and their smoothies and juices are divine! One thing I noted too, is they have more American/Australian type coffee, in that it's not sweet. A lot of coffee in Peru is very sweet, even though they don't add sugar. It was a pleasant surprise to get a deep, bitter-ish, full bodied coffee.

The boy that works during the night shift is terrible, I feel bad for the owner because this kid is killing his business. 3 different nights he has messed up my meals. He would tell you that they do not recommend Asai bowl as a take out order just to keep themselves from doing the work of preparing the bowl late at night, they will never put utensils in your to go order, and they are slow and demotivated as hell. If you do not want to ruin your meal or dinner, do not come to this place at night time.

Hotel Costa del Sol Wyndham - Lima Ciudad is an upscale hotel located in San Isidro, just 5.85km from the city center. The hotel offers modern rooms, a rooftop terrace with city views, and an outdoor pool. Guests have praised the price/performance ratio of the hotel, as well as the satisfactory breakfast and room size. The location is quiet yet convenient for accessing nearby attractions and tour pick-ups.
First of all, I want to thank Carlos Rios at the service desk for being so friendly and helpful in giving advice and arranging transportation. He is awesome! The hotel overall is fantastic. Nice clean rooms, great location in a quiet neighborhood, and nice restaurant and bar. In addition to Carlos, the rest of the staff is also very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Lima.

Decent hotel. Had renovations going on during our stay so there was a sewer smell coming into the washrooms at times. Convenient location. Breakfast spread was nice. Experienced a small earthquake on the 2nd day but I guess it is somewhat of a regular occurrence so staff was not seemingly concerned.

Absolutely Unprofessional and Misleading I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima City. I accidentally booked the wrong date and tried immediately to correct it via Booking.com and by contacting the hotel—no response. When I arrived at the reception in person to resolve the matter, the staff explicitly confirmed that my booking would be applied to the correct date and that no extra charges would occur. I even paid USD 33 for early check-in. Yet, I was charged a second time for the same stay. The hotel now refuses to refund it, absurdly claiming it was a “no-show.” This is completely false, misleading, and unprofessional. This shows a total lack of accountability and respect for guests. I strongly warn anyone considering this hotel—beware of hidden charges and extremely poor customer service. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

This place is a hidden gem in Lima! Great service, and many of the staff speak conversational English. The bell staff, in particular, go out of their way to take care of you. While we visited in the middle of June, the roof top bar was also very nice and views are great on a clear evening. Heaters are available if you get cold. The breakfast buffet spread has something for everyone. The room was very clean and well maintained. The location is pretty walkable to a number of restaurants, parks, the walking path along the costline, and a mall about 12 minutes away. Transportation to other parts of the city is very affordable through the local rideshare app/Uber. If we are ever back in Lima, we'd stay here again.
Stella C — Google review
Recently, the hotel was doing a commercial for their restaurant at the hotel bar which I largely had no issue with. However, the photographer and assistant were very rude as they paid zero attention to the fact a key soccer game was being played and started to walk around with their lights and equipment in my space, blinding me shining lights at the tv and ignoring my multiple requests to wait 2 or 3 minutes for the game to end in order to get their shot.  I found it very rude and unprofessional as they laughed and continued to shine the lights in my face. I complained to the front desk about their behavior as the contracted commercial crew needs to respect the paying customers at the hotel. I found the hotel's staff response to be very lacking. Opposed to addressing the commercial crew as asked, the staff directed their attention towards me like I was the issue and sent multiple people to talk to me. Overall, I found Alphino's demeanor and attempt to talk to me very insulting which did very little to remedy the issue. Hopefully, the low review will bring the attention back to the paying customers at the hotel and get them to have their contractors to respect the guest. Finally, I found Paparika to be tasteless and over priced but it seems to get high reviews as there are not a lot of restaurants in the area.

Eclectic decor, shabby-chic. Food was good, the tender, juicy salmon with capers, creamy risotto and asparagus. I enjoyed a freshly made drink with milk and lucuma, even without adding sugar it was sweet and delicious. The açai bowl was a generous portion and came with up to 4 toppings, which were presented as distinct stripes across the top. I chose sunflower seeds, kiwicha pop, chia, and flax. Other options were honey and pollen. Pictured is also a dessert that a friend ordered. Suspiro, I believe.

Twice we have been to La Folie in Jockey Plaza, and, other than the fact that it is in a mall, the experience was great both times. Without a doubt the best hostel I have ever stayed in anywhere around the world. Amazing location, great value for rooms, and free buffet breakfast in the morning is very tasty. The staff are super chill, friendly, and helpful. Every single thing about this hostel is positive vibes. Even for someone with limited Spanish like myself I had an amazing time on my 10 day stay here. Great kitchen and social areas as well. Thank you, Liam 🇮🇪

Breakfast was good and beds were so comfy however lots of people living full time in the hostel which made for an uncomfortable and unsocial atmosphere. EDIT - came back a few months later and had an awful experience especially with Flor on the front desk. Her mistake cost me $20 and she didn’t apologise or offer any compensation. Absolutely furious and it’s ruined the end of my trip. If management read this, I would highly advise training by your front desk team better. It’s not acceptable at all.

This is a great value and a great location. The room had a sauna, and a simple breakfast was included. It's close to everything and we booked a bike tour that was fun. The only thing I would change is to have heaters or better blankets in the rooms during winter time. It was cold. Pack warm if you are coming here in the winter season.
James S — Google review
I stayed in one of private apartments on the 7th floor. I'm giving 3 stars for the bathroom. The bathroom is outdated for my preference. 1970s motel vibes, dingy and dated. The shower had low water pressure and was lukewarm in temperature. NAIA's photos misrepresented the actual look of the apartment. I was quiet disappointed with the quality of the bathroom. Two body towels, two hand towels provided. No washcloths. The rest of the apartment was fine: bedroom and living room. The kitchen was okay but the appliances also didn't look like photos on the website. Dated, dingy appliances. I wouldn't use them to prepare any food or drinks. Overall the stay was okay and decent for the price. The buffet breakfast was standard. I was happy to see milk alternatives. Warm and cold foods provided. Coffee, juice, water and tea. Great location in Miraflores! Very walkable and I felt safe in the neighborhood. I used their airport transfer service. The website showed a special a 5USD off special for roundtrip. I booked roundtrip but the front desk tried to charge me their standard rate of 50USD despite the website saying 45USD. The staff spoke some English. I speak Spanish so I was able to communicate if the English conversation was unclear. The tours offered were more expensive than what you'd find elsewhere. I booked a tour on TripAdvisor for significantly less. I paid $50 versus the $150 the hotel charged.

10/10 experience in the 4 bed Female dorm. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Nice common area kitchen and lounge. Breakfast buffet was good, but would be better if they offered a more varied hot food area (egg, rice, Lebanese potatoes) got old after 1 week. Lastly very friendly and helpful staff. The front desk ladies were very accommodating and the front door security guard in the AM was so nice! Last comment, the coffee shop in front is such a cool addition, but it would be nice if they could steam milk properly. I am a current barista, and the two times I visited in the AM both drinks were awful. The first cortado was made incorrectly it was a espresso shot with foam on top. The second a latte was poorly steamed milk resulting in what was more of a hot milk with a smidge of foam on top.

Ibis Lima Reducto Miraflores offers colorful and modern rooms in a casual setting, with amenities such as a 24/7 bar, bike rentals, and free parking. The hotel's convenient location provides easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes while being away from the tourist area for a quieter stay. Guests can enjoy excellent internet speed and air conditioning in the rooms for a comfortable experience. The friendly reception staff are helpful in providing information about hotel amenities and storing bags.
This is a pretty decent budget hotel in a prime location in the city. The staff at reception are all friendly with good English, and it’s properly staffed throughout the night too. The lobby has some nice sofas and while the dining area isn’t massive it has a good range of food, but is only open at specific times of the day rather than continually. There is a small bar with drinks at good prices, some TV screens showing sport, and it’s actually quite a bustling area. My room was on the thirteenth floor, and the three elevators serve all the floors quickly. It was a basic room, with wooden floors, an open wardrobe and small desk, but the bed was comfortable and although a little harsh, the lighting was alright. The air-conditioning was effective and there was a single electrical socket not too far from one side of the bed. Annoyingly there were no drink facilities in the room though. It was nice to have a window which actually opened properly, but note the street outside can be rather noisy, even when you’re on one of the top floors. The bathroom was a decent size, although the extractor fan was extremely noisy. There’s plenty of storage space around the sink and toiletries in the dispensers are decent enough. The towels are probably some of the softest I have ever had in a hotel which was amazing! A decent hotel which I’d certainly consider staying at again, and for a good value base I’d recommend.
Steve B — Google review
I encountered several issues with my room (air con not emitting heat, hot water not hot enough) which took ages to rectify. I wasted several hours in doing so. The staff was at no fault (hotel’s design) and they did all they could to fix it. The shower didn’t seem too clean — The floor was slimy and slippery. The windows are too small and too high, so it’s hard to enjoy any view and the room is kind of dark. They’re not well insulated for the amount of traffic in the area.
Sylvie — Google review
It's a good budget hotel. Fairly close to the beach (I could see the water from my room) and on the edge of the touristy area of Miraflores. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are small but clean. There was enough hot water and the staff was friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome as an ALL Accor member. I would like to have given them 5 stars but there were a couple of issues. The WIFI signal was very weak in my room. I finally gave up trying to use it and switched to my cellphone data. It's probably better in some of the other rooms. Also, the room was noisy. I could hear someone walking around all night. It wasn't terrible but it was enough to interrupt my sleep. I really appreciated the staff. If I'd said something they probably would have done something but I was only there for one night.
D M — Google review
Small but comfortable rooms with small bathroom. The beds were comfortable but again, the rooms were small so if you are 2 to a group, be aware. Easy walking to a few things but far enough away from the downtown area that a can is needed. 20 minute walk to the Inka Market, Indian market and the mall. A little longer walk down to the water.

I chose this hotel for the location, which is very good. The personnel were nice and attentive all the time. The breakfast seemed very basic for its price, and even for a business hotel where you only go to sleep, there were some basic items missing, such as bottles of water in the room.

This is my fourth time staying at this IBIS hotel in San Isidro, Lima - and every time I brought groups from the US to do ministry work - teams of 10-22 people. This past time we had 16 people and the workers at the hotel did an excellent job caring for us. From the original reservation process through our entire stay, our group was able to relax because the hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the breakfast - well, there is no way to talk about how wonderful breakfast was! THANK YOU staff and workers at Ibis for making our mission trip a wonderful experience! I plan to stay there again in with future teams!

Room's are very small and basic. No microwave or coffee maker. A little on the overpriced side but I usually stay here because of the breakfast buffet. However this time it was disappointing. The buffet was not good this time. The food was recycled over and over and not fresh. The coffee was ice cold and disappointing. Without a good breakfast buffet the rooms are defiantly overprices.

My booking was cancelled without previous notice and they didn't tell me anything until I arrived late in the night and had to search for a new place to stay. Only the guy in the front desk was attentive, he let me borrow his phone to make a call to check availability in other hotel.

They celebrate waffles in various sweet and savory forms, alongside a menu featuring juices, salads, wraps, and sandwiches to cater to all tastes. Visitors particularly love their salchipapa and find the food delicious and reasonably priced.

Coffee shop
Dedalo Café, located in Barranco and Miraflores, is renowned for its unique and original artwork as well as its delectable coffee. This exceptional establishment seamlessly combines art, shopping, and relaxation into a captivating experience. The gallery showcases captivating pieces while the boutique stores offer exquisite hand-crafted goods. Additionally, the delightful café provides a visually pleasing ambience with its beautiful garden filled with fresh flowers, bonsai trees, and origami decorations.
Amazing place to sit down and enjoy a good bite while amusing yourself with fine art and handy crafts. The place is cozy and pretty big, great for entertaining you for hours while you enjoy the spot.
Pedro T — Google review
The place is beautiful, the mix of an art gallery and handcraft shop is very nice touch for the cafe, unfortunately quite expensive for Lima, the food (sandwiches) are quite pricey for what you get. My boyfriend and I ordered an Asado sandwich each of us and a coffee and we paid over 100 soles. Which is a lot for Lima. I would definitely go back or recommend it but maybe just for a drink. They have many waitresses, however they are very lost a not so friendly. Also they do not have a menu in English and the waitresses don’t speak English. Also didn’t like that they only bring you one menu per table, so of course if is more than one person in the table you need to wait for others to see what to order until you can check the menu. The place is great and with good potential but maybe they should review their service and menu.
Maria H — Google review
Quiet, relaxing space to have a drink after visiting the art shop. Someone complained it’s not Lima prices, but also, it’s a bit of a bubble within Lima so I think it’s normal.
Bruno A — Google review
I have to say first that we love the ambiance. Since the very first time I visited in 2013, it is still one of my favorite places to visit because it is unique. However, things could improve. Drinks: This time, we had an espresso, an affogato, and a cappuccino. The coffee could definitely be better. Being in Peru and not having good coffee seems absolutely crazy. Price point. At this time, I am going to say it is overrated, as I think that the service and quality have room for improvement. Service: slow and uninterested. Wished they care a bit more for their clients. With the level of competition in coffee spaces, quality of service should be a top priority.

A must-visit. The garden cafe is a constant eye pleasure - fresh flowers, bonsai, origami - you can observe this almost indefinitely. The coffee and sandwiches are decent. Try mushroom omelet - it is a blast!

Huaca Wasi Hotel Boutique is a charming lodging option located in the picturesque Miraflores district of Lima. Housed in a converted colonial mansion, the hotel offers simple yet chic accommodations with stucco walls, spiral staircases, and vaulted ceilings. Guests can enjoy a peaceful stay in one of the six well-appointed rooms, some of which feature private balconies overlooking the gardens.
Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Located in the beautiful Miraflores district, a safe and walkable area in Lima, this lovely boutique hotel caters to discerning travelers looking for rest in the busy city. The street is quiet, but very close to some of the best food and shopping in Lima. The staff went well out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable, and the new owner stopped in while we ate the wonderful breakfast to make sure our experience was a great one. This was one of three places we stayed on our honeymoon, and we plan to visit again on an anniversary in the future.

Made to order breakfast every morning was great. Beds were comfortable (for peru). The proprietor was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The dog, Sumaq, (spelling?) was super sweet and was always there to meet us before leave or when arriving to the hotel. Great experience overall. Will definitely recommend to other travelers.

This place is incredibly cute and perfect if you're looking to have a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was delicious with an omelette, toast, & fruit bowl. Also, the reception was friendly and accommodating with so much to offer. Highly recommend!

Good area, pretty decor and nice little garden to have a drink in of an evening. The staff were brilliant and really helped us to plan our day, arrange taxis and let us hang out in their reception area until our taxi picked us up at 16:15 to take us to the airport. Free tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend.

I am writing this review with great disappointment. If you are considering booking a room here you need to be informed. Staying at this hotel will put you at risk for false charges to your credit card. We had to be up at 4:00 a.m. for a long day tour so it was straight to bed to prepare for our 5:00 a.m. pick up. We woke, took showers and left for our tour early the next morning. We returned to the hotel at approximately 10:00 p.m. that evening and were greeted by a different desk clerk. She appeared to be upset and was trying to communicate to us that something was wrong with our door. We thought she meant the wood door to our room. She was saying that the hotel owner was very upset also. There was a bit of a language gap lending to our confusion. We were completely bewildered and concerned that our room door had been damaged by someone trying to break in or something. After we got over the language barrier we realized she was blaming us for shattering one of the sliding glass shower doors. We were stunned. Both I and my travel partner assured her that the door was fine when we left that morning and informed her that if we had shattered a 3/8” thick tempered glass door we certainly would have reported it (not left it for the cleaning staff to discover and cleanup) and would have gladly paid for it. The clerk told us that the cleaning staff found it that way and immediately called her to report it. This is a complete fabrication by the cleaning staff. We noted no issues with the shower doors that morning and they were in perfect working condition. Once we took a look at the existing conditions of the shower door, track and frame we noted that the lower rubber bumper and guide for the right side of the frame was missing. The absence of this bumper allows the glass lower corner of the glass slider to hit (almost wedge into) the metal frame. Please note that both I and my travel partner each have more than 20 years of experience in commercial construction. It became obvious what had occurred. We noted this condition to the desk clerk who just shrugged her shoulders and kept telling us the owner was mad. I contested again and immediately called Expedia and American Express to report the incident. We were due to check out the next morning. Upon check out I gladly paid two charges – one for my hotel room and the other for two beverages from the refrigerator. The hotel ran a third fraudulent charge to my credit card for an arbitrary amount and without my consent. I did not sign this charge. After more contesting and still no appearance from the hotel owner we had to leave to make our flight. In the end my credit card was charged a considerable amount (equal to our two night stay) without my consent. The hotel never provided a quote or backup for the arbitrary cost of the glass panel. The cleaning staff probably broke the door on accident as there was no rubber bumper on the lower section of the metal frame and could in no way pay for such an item on their wages. We and our credit card company were taken advantage of by this hotel. The desk clerk told me to take it up with my credit card company – sure let them pay for it rather that the business. The proprietors do not believe in the customer service. They should have insurance for issues like this one and be able to cover accidental damages whether by staff or guests. The owner was never available to us to discuss the situation and put the poor desk clerk in a position to handle the issue. I got the impression that the clerk would be fired if she did not charge us for the glass door as she kept saying she “had to.” This was a very disappointing introduction to Peru. Consider yourself warned.

My partner and I stay in this hotel in January near the end of a 2-month trip around Peru as we came back to Lima to set off to Galapagos for the final week. It’s quite normal for guest to leave belonging behind in hotels to return to and all other hotels we stayed in had dedicated rooms to leave these bags in. As we were going to a hot country after travelling/trekking Peru we left many of the large bulky and expensive items behind in the Huaca Wasi Hotel which after calculating valued £1000+. Brand new walking boots, Arc'teryx rain jacket, quality Alpaca jumpers & presents, plus other stuff. We even took some money off to help with the repayment! When we retuned from Galapagos a hotel representative told us that there was a mistake and the bags were thrown away by mistake. The next morning Marco the hotel owner made his apologies and promised to reimburse the items but asked for some time to get the money together and find the best was to transfer it. We had to catch a flight back home that day and we were reasonable people so we accepted. From January to June we were in talks desperately trying to get Marco to send the reimbursement money. Marco promised and asked again and again for more time, which we patiently gave to him. He didn’t want to pay a single dollar from his own back and what it sounded like was pressuring the hotel worked to give all the money. Peruvian wages for hotel workers of this size are not a huge amount so I found that totally unfair and just mean. Marco should have paid for the replacement costs himself through his business and then weaseled his money back if he really needed every cent.
