Restaurant
Caribbean Croft is a cozy and vibrant restaurant located in Stokes Croft, offering traditional Caribbean comfort dishes and a wide selection of draft brews. The bustling venue features a diverse menu with secret family-owned recipes that cater to both meat eaters and vegetarians. Run by the hands-on owner Peter Innes, the restaurant reflects the city's diversity with reggae soundtracks, local artwork, and an inviting atmosphere.
So, so good. Food was absolutely full of flavour and incredible from starters, main to desert. Highly recommend the saltfish fritters, Croft fried chicken, ackee and saltfish, and to finish the Yard cake. Our best meal in Bristol in our 4 day trip.
Matt — Google review
Had an amazing experience at Caribbean Croft. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great visit. I ordered the jerk salmon, and it was absolutely spot on. Beautifully cooked, tender, and packed with that rich, smoky jerk flavour. The rice and peas were full of taste and complemented the salmon perfectly. You could really tell care went into every bite. I also had the mac n cheese, which was creamy and comforting. Paired with the chilli sauce they provided, it hit the spot. The heat and creaminess together were just perfect. The whole place has a lovely cultural vibe, celebrating the spirit and flavour of the Caribbean. You can feel the love for food and community in everything they serve.
Ayyub C — Google review
Absolutely stunning Caribbean food. So glad I tried the Croft Combo dish as it included a mix of curry goat, BBQ chicken, and belly pork. The belly pork especially was unbelievable. Sides and extras were all spot-on too, festival, plantain, callaloo, rice & peas, everything was so good. Rum cocktails super tasty (and strong!!) too. Can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Bristol ❤️

Been here twice now. Both times were great. Make sure you take advantage of the 2-4-1 cocktails (see photo for times). Easy to book a table on their website. They accept blue light discount here (10%).

Great authentic Caribbean food. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere complemented by good music. Service is equally relaxed and very personalable. The food is great. Fantastic starters and wholesome mains. Definitely a place to visit. Booking is probably advised.

Fantastic food and a great vibe! Have been here a few times now and it never disappoints!

The restaurant is super spacious with a great variety of dishes. The smoothie was incredibly fresh and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Ive take a drive into Bristol collected mum and we're off to 'Caribbean Croft ' only a 5 min walk from Bristol Bus Station. Admittedly I'll be taking the bus next time parking was a little awkward but that didn't ruin the experience. I missed this so much Ive been craving childhood food, I really should have a go ??? This was an amazing place and ill definitely be back easy to get too, quality homecooked food, in a fabulous atmosphere.

Baba Ganoush Kitchen - Jerusalem Falafel is a vibrant and colorful spot in Bristol, known for serving up fresh and delicious Middle Eastern fare. This certified institution has been satisfying vegetarians and vegans with its renowned falafel for years. The funky and artsy exterior reflects the city's spirit, making it a must-visit for those seeking affordable yet top-quality eats.
We had the most amazing vegan meal here! Everything was so fresh and delicious plus the staff were beautiful especially Rudy. Would love to come again one day!
Ali — Google review
Visited today for the first time to takeaway and had such a great experience- the wraps are enormous and such great value (especially for Bristol), absolutely brimming with fresh ingredients! The baba ganoush cauliflower wrap was delicious, lots of great vegan and veggie options. Also lovely staff and food was prepared super quick! Can't wait to come back and try the falafel.. most underrated place in Bristol?
Molly — Google review
We spent two days in Bristol, and we went to Baba Ganoush twice! This is hands down once of the best falafels we’ve ever had (not an understatement, I tried a lot as a vegetarian). We took the big falafel wrap with halloumi (woaw) and falafel salad (see picture). The next day we took two falafel wraps and the owner gave us a lot of goodies to go for the airport. We will definitely come back! (even if it was for Ruby(🐾)
Jacobien K — Google review
Wow! I walked away from the shop wielding this absolute weapon of a wrap and it was so goooood, lovely fresh ingredients all cooked to perfection. Super quick and friendly service, loved the coffee too! Will definitely be back, long live Baba Ganoush this place is a gem. Thankyou!
Glen L — Google review
We've been coming here for years and always have the best time. No matter how busy it is, Dael and Shad are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is always sensational. To add to the hundreds of people who have said the same - it is the best falafel I've ever eaten by some stretch. Always a bonus to see Rudy the dog plodding around happily munching on some halloumi. Our dog won't let us go within 100m of the place now without trying to drag us in as she also gets a portion of halloumi made especially for her each time we go. Another example of the sort of business they run is the fact that last time I went their card machine was down, so they told my friend and I to pay next time. They didn't stop taking orders, and told everyone coming for the lunch rush to just settle up when they next came by. When I did try to pay for that food alongside today's order, I was told not to worry about it. Beautiful restaurant run by beautiful people.
Tom W — Google review
We’ve been meaning to try this place for years and always drive past however we made an effort to pop in today and wow we were not disappointed. Greeted by the most lovely lady who brought our food out. The portions are massive and is so cheap(!) we had 2 of the everything wrap and easily could have shared. The lovely lady explained it’s her and her husband who run this place and are doing the most wonderful job. The food is made with love and care id go as far as saying the best in Bristol! We will be back on a regular basis! Thank you
Catriona L — Google review
Best falafels i've had in the UK! Super crispy exterior, aromatic and fluffy inside and all their other dishes are always bursting with flavour and freshness! We were on on our way to Wales from London and stopped just to get our hands on some of their falafels. We arrived 10 mins before closing time and the owner had a bag of hot falafels on standby that he gave away without even charging us. We parked close by to stuff our faces and he reappeared with cups of tahini sauce for us. Definitely worth the visit for the great food and amazing people!
Smiti R — Google review
Always see this place walking into Easton. Never made it inside it took a roaring hangover and a day of walking around for me and my partner in crime miss savage to lay our head in this establishment. Boss man and Lady were the kindest for 100 miles and had the produce to back it up. Made with love and hummus best food I can remember having the pleasure of consuming. Could not be fresher balanced flavours and a portion for half a village. While we waited for our food We saw a couple eating theres near us and we made private remarks of their silence not saying a word to each other. What we could could only speculate was love fading. However once our lips made contact with our own nutrient dense plate we quickly realised how wrong we were. The diagnosis of the silence? Food so good your simply speechless.

Pizza restaurant
Bertha's Pizza is a laid-back restaurant located in Wapping Wharf, Bristol, serving up delicious wood-oven sourdough pizzas alongside a selection of beer, wine, and homemade gelato. The pizzeria originally started as a street food operation in 2010 from a converted yellow Land Rover before finding its permanent home at The Old Gaol Stables.
The most incredible pizza I’ve tried in the UK! I used to be a frequent visitor to Bertha’s Pizza while studying in Bristol, and to this day I won’t miss an opportunity to go there when I visit! Their dough is the most incredible - very thin in a base, accentuating the flavour of the filling, while the edges are light and have a nice chewy bite! They also have the most inventive flavours - if you ever see Zucca on a menu (pizza with a butternut squash base) - give it a shot! It’s an explosion of flavour :) And of course the staff are always very friendly welcome you with a smile!
Lana T — Google review
Nice friendly service and a decent selection on the menu, the carbonara pizza was quite nice but the special was disappointing. The pizzas are quite small and the dough on the edge is so thick it wasn’t cooked through. Feels like it would be a good place for families with kids to go
Erin W — Google review
Pizza was nice! Not outstanding as was quite wet and thin base so hard to eat, but nice and good value for money. The aioli dip was also good. Very loud inside though, however this was from the table behind us, who you could also hear from downstairs. Has quite a small menu but the option to add toppings. Staff also friendly.
Ruby B — Google review
I popped in just for a quick bite on my way through Bristol, and am very happy with my decision! The marmite and cheese bread was delicious, and I enjoyed some tasty malteser ice cream to take away as well. I recommend this place.
Danny H — Google review
Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't very tasty. It was very bitter and salty. I think this was because the base was very black, they added olive brine to the toppings and the ham was also salty. The pizza was also undercooked (quite an achievement considering how black it was). They also didn't add the extra toppings I ordered. Shame
Robyn J — Google review
Absolutely delicious and unusual pizza flavours, really good to have a salad option and it was delicious, the kombucha was really good and the ice-cream was the most delicious eaten in a while. Our kids were well catered for by understanding staff and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back in a heartbeat.
Annette M — Google review
What a great place to enjoy some different pizza - great fun, lovely vibe, tasty food.
Paul G — Google review
Pizza was great, delicious sourdough base and good balance of flavours for the toppings but not a blow-your-face-off outstanding pizza. The dip selection was interesting, the harissa/aioli combo (i think it’s called the red eye) slapped! I think a bit of a wider selection would help, we wanted a starter but weren’t convinced by any option and it’s unusual for a pizza place to not serve espresso! Staff were so friendly and attentive! A nice experience, but not sure if the food justifies the price

Pieminister, a casual eatery based in Bristol, offers a delectable selection of gourmet savory pies, including options for vegans and those with gluten-free diets. Founded by Jon and Tris after their pie-filled travels in Australia, Pieminister has expanded to nine locations across the UK. The menu features an array of pies ranging from traditional flavors to unique creations like ice cream pies and toffee apple.
Jessica our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. First time at this Pieminister, been to Leeds and Sheffield ones, this one is just as good as the others, it was nice to see they had conditioning as it was 27°C. Pies were amazing as they always are. Highly recommended if your a pie lover
Andy S — Google review
We visited Pieminister for our wedding meal on Friday. We didn't want a standard wedding meal preferring to have a more informal get together with friends and family. We opted for the bottomless brunch. On arrival the staff had gone the extra mile. The table was tastefully dressed, there were welcoming and congratulatory messages. There were fresh flowers and some gifts for us. The food was excellent, served in good time and was all well presented. As for the drink element of our meal...it just kept coming. The staff were very generous and never kept us waiting. They did brilliantly and all of our guests commented upon them. We had a lovely time on our special day. Your staff and venue were a big part of it. Thank you so much.
Mark A — Google review
As someone born and raised in Bristol, I have always felt a sense of pride when I see local businesses grow and thrive, and Pieminister is a perfect example of that. Knowing it started right here in my hometown makes supporting it feel even more worthwhile. From the moment we stepped inside, the experience was warm and welcoming. The service was genuinely outstanding. In particular, the lady with glasses and several badges on her uniform really made our visit special. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space, checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. It is rare to find such thoughtful service these days, and she deserves to be recognised for it. The food was just as impressive. I opted for the cheese pie, served with creamy mashed potato and a generous helping of vegetarian gravy. Every element of the dish was delicious. The pie had a crisp golden pastry with a rich cheesy filling that was full of flavour without being overpowering. The mash was smooth and comforting, and the vegetarian gravy tied it all together beautifully. It is clear that a lot of care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. The restaurant itself was beautifully designed and well laid out. I particularly appreciated the warm ambient lighting, which created a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. It felt inviting without being too casual, perfect for a comfortable meal out. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the portion size. While the quality of the food was excellent, the quantity did not quite match the price point. For the cost, I was hoping for something a little more substantial. That said, the flavours and overall experience still made it worthwhile. All in all, it was a lovely visit with great food, exceptional service, and a setting that strikes just the right tone. I will definitely be returning, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comforting meal with a touch of Bristol charm.
Ayyub C — Google review
On the hottest day of the year when you can’t imagine anything being worst than leaving the house, this was the best place to ever happen!! Came for bottomless brunch and the service was absolutely faultless on a busy Saturday. The food (especially moolin rouge) was incredible. Without doubt the best brunch I’ve had in a long time. I was so hesitant to do a brunch here to begin with but so glad I came as everything was great. Have already started to recommend so I’m sure you’ll be seeing me again!!
Char B — Google review
Popped in on my way home from work yesterday and had a very good experience. Not a restaurant I ever use, pretty sure it was my first time in a Pieminister and the young man Dylan who was serving made me feel very welcome. He was polite, friendly and easy to interact with. Seemed happy in his job. Food came out quickly and was nicely presented. Cosy little place. Sat back from the bustling Broad Quay of Bristol’s City Centre I was quite content. You wouldn’t think from the outside it goes right back, so you can dine comfortably away from the street full of busy activity.
Jon H — Google review
Lovely server who was very helpful and attentive. The food was ok. Chips and gravy were nice, coleslaw was their own style and in some kind of tomato based sauce rather than mayo. Got the goat cheese, sweet potato and spinach pie that was cheesy in taste but the pastry and portion size could’ve been better. Ginger ale was gorgeous and refreshing though. Also a great GF selection too which is brilliant when you really fancy a pie although it was too hot for me to try one.

Dylan was great - made our bottomless brunch an amazing experience- will definitely come back! Food was brilliant and so tasty!

I visited with a friend last Sunday afternoon as part of a trip to Bristol, and the experience was amazing! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, answering questions about the menu and checking in with us regularly to make sure things were all good. They had a great selection of dishes, including many vegetarian dishes. The food was beautifully-presented and delicious! I had Palak Kofta with a side of Palau Rice, and my friend had Tiger Prawn & Salmon Moilee with a side of Lemon Rice and a pint of Bombay Bicycle Ale, and we shared some Cheese Naan and Spicy Poppadoms with Chutney. The portion sizes were perfect and everything tasted amazing! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a meal in Bristol, and would definitely visit again next time I'm in Bristol! :)

Atmosphere is fantastic, if you're looking for party vibes, this is the curry house for you! 🎉 We were lucky to watch a performance and it did not disappoint! 🕺🏽🪩 Food isn't amazing but isn't terrible either, it does the job. They were very sweet to treat me to a free dessert for my birthday, which I really appreciated and it was very tasty. We did wait about an hour between finishing eating and paying, and it's very hot in there with not much ventilation. But we just tried to enjoy the good vibes! The staff are very attentive and the hospitality is great. These guys are famous for a reason! It's a fun evening out, great for big groups or smaller celebrations 🎉

Absolutely outstanding experience! We had our first visit at Urban Indian Restaurant, and it certainly won’t be our last! The food was simply outstanding — full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so welcome, greeting us with a lovely drink and genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate my friend’s birthday — even surprising us with a candle on the cake and a cheerful birthday song! 🎂🎶 It truly was a special evening filled with warmth, laughter, and amazing food. Thank you to all the team for making it so memorable — we’ll definitely be back!

Urban Tandoor is a must try if you love good food and a good atmosphere. The Asian flavours are delicious and tantalising. We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary and wasn’t disappointed. The complimentary anniversary treats was a nice touch. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. I tried the chili monk fish starter which was very tasty. For my main I had the guinea fowl and the flavours were exquisite, also it’s comes with rice. My husband had the lamb Karahi but he asked for very hot as he likes it hot and the flavour and heat was spot on! We will definitely be returning here! Highly recommend this place!
Naomi — Google review
Went here with friends on the back on their hilarious marketing videos on social media, but all jokes aside, we were blown away by just how amazing this place was - it really is the full package. Such friendly and helpful staff and seriously flavourful food! Can’t wait to come back!:)
Darcie J — Google review
It was an excellent meal with an excellent and very efficient and caring service. If I go back to Bristol, I would definitely go again to Urban Tandoor. I am a solo traveller and they made me feel good and gave me good advices as I do not like too spicy food but still do like Indian food. The papadum were sufficient in amount and the chutneys were really tasty and delicate. Then for the main dish, I have rarely tasted such a tender piece of meat in a restaurant. I came here based on their good reviews and I do not regret it. It was delicious and I spent a great evening, really.
Nora J — Google review
The food was good and the service fine. The downside was how busy it was, great for the business but I felt like a squashed sardine in a noisy tin. This spoilt the overall experience of trying to talk to my friends and enjoy a relaxed meal.

Takeout Restaurant
Coronation Curry House, located on Coronation Road in Bristol, is a hidden gem known for its authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant offers classic dishes like korma, vindaloo, and madras, prepared with imported spices from Mumbai to maximize flavor. Despite its unassuming exterior, this family-friendly eatery has gained a reputation as one of the best Indian restaurants in Bristol.
Everything was amazing, staff were friendly and useful. My only issue was the lamb Khushboo was meant to be a medium bhuna style sauce but was creamy like the mango korma we ordered and had no spice. Still very nice though, just would have gone for a different curry if I'd known. We were turned off from the garlic chilli chicken because we thought it would be too hot but I guess not if that was medium If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. 4 felt too mean cause it was mostly perfect! Will definitely go again

A small but super friendly Indian restaurant within walking distance of Ashton Gate football stadium We were greeting with a warm smile and a genuine welcome. The food was tasty, especially the onion bhaji starters and the fresh chilli dip to accompany the poppadoms. The Nan breads were light and fluffy. Certainly worth a visit pre or post match.

This curry house is an absolute gem! This place is my cup of the tea!! The owner even gave us a free cake and free pudding. The food is packed with incredible flavor—every curry tastes fresh, rich, and perfectly spiced. From the creamy kormas to the fiery vindaloos, every dish feels like it’s been cooked with real care and attention to detail. The naan bread is soft and warm, and the sides are just as delicious as the mains. What makes this place truly special, though, are the owners. They’re so warm and welcoming, treating every guest like family. They always take the time to chat, recommend dishes, and make sure you’re enjoying your meal. Their kindness and hospitality turn a simple dinner into a memorable experience. If you’re looking for fantastic food served by genuinely lovely people, this is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

Googled 'best Indian takeaway near me', found these guys, ordered the lamb masala as a punt and proceeded to eat one the best curries I think we've ever eaten!!! So tasty, so clean, so moreish. Superb service too. Will definitely be back. Entirely worth 5 stars.

The owner is an absolute legend—charming, funny, and always ready with a joke. He's a reason to visit this restaurant all on his own. On top of that, you've got the amazing Indian food and a brilliant Bollywood show that provides plenty of entertainment. You feel like you're with friends while being thoroughly entertained. A perfectly successful evening that you won't forget anytime soon

Definitely has a good reputation and good reviews but I have to be honest, we spent nearly £100 on a takeaway order and the food was average at best. The curries were watery and a bit tasteless. It's probably more expensive than most, so put all this together I felt compelled to reluctantly give a 1 star rating.

Had a lovely meal with my husband today. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed very warmly by the waiter and then again by the owner. Lovely tasty food and such a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Located on a moored riverboat near Queens Square in Bristol, Three Brothers Burgers is a popular spot for burger enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a variety of meat and vegetarian options, making it suitable for all diners. With its covered deck featuring soft lights and patio heaters, it's an ideal place to enjoy barbecues during the summer or stay warm in the colder months. In addition to their delicious burgers, they also serve an extensive range of craft beer and cider.
It's one of the most delicious burgers, and fries/chips we've ever tasted... A must try when you go to Bristol. Sadly the milkshake wasn't available at that time. The service was excellent, the staffs were friendly, and helpful. They have indoor seating, and outdoor seating. Kids menu is not available. Toilets for customers are available.

The burgers were juicy and absolutely delicious, and the fries were great as well. We got the lunch deal, which offers excellent value. Service was quick and efficient, you order through a scanned QR code. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating, and there are toilets available for customers too. They serve the food on metallic plates, which felt like a nostalgic throwback, definitely added to the experience. A solid spot for a casual and satisfying meal.

One of the best burger places in Bristol. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. The lunch deal (available Mon-Fri) at £7.50 for burger and fries is great value, what more can you ask for? QR code ordering is also convenient.

Enjoyed both the burger and the cider even though I am not into cider. The breaded pickle 🥒 side dish with dill mayo was brilliant.
Norbert J — Google review
Absolutely outstanding place! The burgers were amazing! Drink choices were also excellent! Great setting and great atmosphere! Can’t stop thinking about this place - we will be back!! We got a text about 10 minutes after ordering saying our order hadn’t gone through which was impressive. Not sure why but it said to contact the team so we did and it was sorted quickly. Allergies wise it says on some of the menu items but not all. It also says in the notes to add it to the specific item but when you tried to do that for my burger you couldn’t see the allergies or add notes. Luckily at the end of the order you have “special requests” section for the whole order (which says not to add allergy notes here but as there was nowhere else that’s where we had to do it) and we added the note there instead. Staff said to add it to the order this way so at least it was on there and they’d let the kitchen know. The fries don’t come with the burger so we shared some as it was a little pricey but still well worth it!

Really tasty burgers - almost toooo tasty 😅 the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the soggy bun due to the amount of grease. The crispy onions were to die for and would have just a giant bowl of those if it were available. Like many other reviews I can’t really justify the service charge considering we sat outside and ordered from a QR code on the table. There was minimal interaction with staff which I don’t really mind, but just doesn’t justify the service charge.
Char B — Google review
We have been to Three Bros several times prior to going to performances at the Bristol Old Vic. You cannot book a table for groups below 8 but every time we arrive, the greeting is friendly, quick and we have rarely ever waited. There is table service but for a quicker experience, use the QR code and order via phone. It works and is quick. Servers are very friendly and helpful, so will happily take your order. We love the fact that iced still water is offered on arrival (a US dining standard that is sadly missed in the UK) and quickly delivered. Food is very tasty, fresh and might take a touch longer if you have customised your burger/dog, the wait is not long at all. Again, we are always impressed by the fun and friendly interactions with the Servers. Can recommend the Umami Crazy Burger, Caesar Salad side and the crispy jalapenos. The chicken burgers are superb too, especially when you add the crispy onions. Consistent, great quality and fun place to eat. Still one of our favourites. Thank you.

This place is a gem. Came here many years ago on holiday and seeing as I was in the area again, decided to visit. Wasn't disappointed at all. Asked if I wanted table service or to order via the app and also if I wanted water at the table as well. Ordered the lunchtime offer of burger and chips which took 10 to 15 minutes, which I assume meant that everything was cooked to order. Chips were crispy and fluffy and the burger was juicy and really full of flavour. Staff were very friendly and the music in the background was perfectly loud enough and added to the atmosphere of this restaurant. Highly recommended

Pizza Takeout
The Bristol Stable is a refurbished industrial venue that offers a unique experience with its cider and organic sourdough pizzas topped with locally sourced ingredients. The establishment, named after the 18th-century artist Arthur Hort, has been restored to create a welcoming environment that blends traditional pub elements with contemporary style. It also provides a great atmosphere for watching live sports events on TV screens. Additionally, it offers comfortable seating and expert advice for planning stag do nights out in Bristol.
Fun and vibrant place right on the waterfront. We were there with family to grab a bite to eat and a drink. We head their vegetarian Roman style pizza. It was light and crispy and the garlic herb sauce made it amazing. We also had some of their tater tots as well as dipping sauce. They had a large selection of various alcoholic ciders as well as lots of beer to pick from. Service was quick, we ordered at the bar and they brought our food to our table.

Feels like a great place for a large gathering with family or friends. Loved how thin the pizzas were. Though they could use a little more cheese! Please! You seat yourself an order from the app or the bar. They have a kids menu as well! I’d go with the pizza.

Great food great service, just a little quiet on a Tuesday lunch but suspect very busy weekends.
Nick C — Google review
Went to The Stable in Bristol with my team for a pizza and a pint. Overall, it was a good experience without being amazing. The pizzas went down well with everyone — I had The Meat Is On, which was decent if not outstanding. Without doubt though, the chilli oil gave it a welcome kick. Thin crust, nicely done. The craft lager I tried was very good, but at £6.50 a pint it’s definitely on the pricey side. The venue itself is pleasant, with a great location overlooking the harbour and a brilliant mural featuring some of Bristol’s best-known faces. That said, it was pretty empty for a Thursday afternoon, which didn’t do the atmosphere any favours. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and service was quick. Not somewhere that blew me away, but worth popping in for a bite to eat — though maybe just the one pint at those prices.

Excellent service. We were a large group on a Friday evening. Most orders were for pizzas. Nice choice of toppings. Cheese n mac a good alternative with lots of veggies. Good atmosphere. Loud but that is to be expected. Nice setting on the harbour front.

This chain has always been a family favourite. Menu is always changing and always delightful. The 5 sample ciders makes the experience even better. Tasting notes are updated on the beer mats. Take a pen to taste, score and award your team favourite. Usually a good selection, Perry, dry, sweet and fruity. 6% normally hits the mark. Their vouchers make a nice birthday treat.

Located in Bristol, Curry House is a well-established Indian restaurant and takeaway that has been serving customers since 1983. The modern interior with terracotta flooring provides an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy a wide variety of Indian dishes. Whether you prefer halal, vegetarian, or vegan options, the extensive menu caters to diverse taste preferences. Despite observing Ramadan, the friendly staff are eager to accommodate guests and guide them through the menu filled with fresh and delicately spiced dishes.
Fantastic! The service was great and the food even better. Quick friendly service. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Thanks. The poppadums and dips were of the best I have had.

The staff are very helpful. The restaurant is very clean. We were seated immediately and our drinks order taken. The menu has a wide choice and the rest of my party enjoyed their food. I had a Prawn Dansak and was disappointed by the lack of spice and the teeny weanie little prawns. I only ate half my dinner due to this. I would go again and try something different. The entrance to the restaurant has a large high step, making it very difficult if you have accessability issues and impossible in a wheelchair.

I’ve become Coeliac & Lactose Intolerant in the past few years. They were super helpful, thorough and accommodating of this. I really appreciated Rob’s? Help with advising me and talking me through all the potential allergens. The food was lovely, and it was lovely to eat some amazing Indian food again, after having avoided it for a while due to my dairy allergen. I’ve visited the restaurant before, and it’s a beautiful setting. The staff are great. The food is lovely. Would recommend to anyone, but especially people with allergens. Thank you, appreciated.

Got a takeaway so haven’t actually sat down for a meal here. I thought it was amazing! Like, actually quite possibly the best curry I’ve had in Bristol. Was really pleasantly surprised with the menu, particularly the diversity of the visual aesthetics and flavours (not just generic slop with little between it like some other restaurants), and really enjoyed what we had to eat. I also didn’t think it was greasy at all so dubious at some of the other reviewers. I think this will be a new go-to and would heartily recommend to others, would also happily try eating in.

Sri Lankan restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Clifton Triangle, The Coconut Tree Bristol is a delightful Sri Lankan eatery that has recently unveiled an exciting plant-based menu featuring 16 unique dishes. Embracing a street food vibe, diners can indulge in hoppers—charming bowl-shaped pancakes made from coconut milk—served alongside sambal and Sri Lankan salsa.
Visited Thursday, 20th March 2025 We have been before, so we obviously enjoyed our previous visit. Lovely food, so many different flavours, unique to each dish - food Sri Lankan. We kept a list of what we had at our last visit, which was lucky as the menu had been updated. They recommend about 2-3 small plates per person ...... but we don't mind taking home leftovers, and this was a birthday treat. So, with a combination of old tried and tested and a few new additions, we chose 10! They all arrived together, and the feast began, with two raspberry/mint soft drinks to compliment the meal. We loved it, the service was good. My only slight constructive comment was that I enjoy food when it's really hot (temperature, not spice heat), and it was a little cool for me, but I still enjoyed it! We will be back ...... soon! Big thanks to you & your team! 🌞

I visited Coconut Tree in Bristol last month for lunch. We ordered two shrimp fried rice dishes and shrimp curries. The food didn’t taste fresh, and the rice was sticky. I’ve attached pictures below. The portion sizes were really small for the price, one portion wasn’t enough for one person. Additionally, the girl who served us was unpleasant and rude when we informed her of the issue. For those expecting good Sri Lankan food, I can’t recommend this place at all.
Viraj I — Google review
A small group (5) had dinner. We had to try a variety of options as the portions are super small. The goat curry was watery and lacked spice. The service staff were kind, helpful and a bit chaotic. Whilst I enjoyed some of the food, did not think its was value for money.

Absolutely phenomenal! This Sri Lankan restaurant in the UK is a gem. The flavors are authentic and vibrant, transporting you straight to the heart of Sri Lanka. The menu is diverse, offering a delightful range of dishes from spicy curries to savory hoppers. Each dish is prepared with meticulous attention to detail and bursting with flavor. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to indulge in an unforgettable culinary journey. Five stars! But one thing tho, Hopper is not as I expected , hope you’ll improve in future

Decent sri lankan restaurant in Bristol.. Chicken curry on the bone is vood but I would have liked it without the skin..the parippu (dhal) is good . Egg hooper has a unique taste to it . The goat curry is okay but would have liked it with bone just like the chicken one.. The paratha is good... The prices of the mocktails are on the high side...
Anupam G — Google review
Food was nice. It’s a shame they sat people so close to each other when they had a big empty restaurant to use. Felt like I was in someone else’s conversation. Wine expensive. Cutlery and bowls dirty and chipped (chunks of food on two of the knives). No toilet cubicle in the men’s (out of order). Had to ask for the correct bill. Enjoyed but wouldn’t go back.
Jake M — Google review
Been here a few times now, and we did the Sunday unlimited for £25 this time for my birthday meal. It’s hard to gauge how much you need to order so we ordered as we went, and got around 4-5 dishes each so works out good value, especially if you then have dessert. 3 out of 8 of us were vegan and they had plenty of vegan options for the mains - the dhal and the kotthu were the highlight for me! We had a few left overs as we were stuffed by the time the last lot came out (some dishes taken a while to arrive so everyone else had finished by the time the last couple of dishes came) so we asked to take these home so as not to waste them, but we were told we could not take them away as it’s the unlimited deal and not allowed. This seemed really wasteful, as it was only going to be put in the bin? Such a shame. They didn’t have any vegan ice cream this time which was very sad, last time this was top tier! You also can’t pay in cash, which is a pain when you have birthday money to spend… Overall was fine, but the first and second time were much better experiences. The staff didn’t seem to be that happy which was also a bit of a bummer. Food was nice, but just a couple of bits let down the experience.

Customer service is bad on their side for not picking up any calls so had to write this up. Absolutely small portions ordered from here with an astonishing price that I paid. Not worth it for the quantity.

Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant that offers a variety of classic dishes, with a focus on their specialty, pho noodle soup. The menu includes curries, rice bowls, noodles, and salads. It's popular among gluten-free diners as most of the menu is gluten and dairy-free. The restaurant also caters to vegetarians with an array of tofu-based options. Located in the heart of the city, Pho provides large portions at reasonable prices.
Went here with my husband. We ordered fried vegan spring rolls and fried baby squids as appetizers, they were amazing! He ate the Wok fried flat rice noodle and I had the spicy king prawn curry. They were good and came with huge portions. The spicy coconut curry not spicy for my taste buds(I'm Malaysian btw) and it's a tad sweet hence only 4* other than that no complaints. The service was fast, friendly and responsive.

Wonderful restaurant. Good experience. Tried the pumpkin katsu curry with rice and mango juice. Absolutely loved everything. The pumpkin was so delicious! I just felt the gravy was a bit less for the portion of rice so kinda felt dry to eat. A bit more gravy would have been nicer. Very respectful and friendly staff. Quick service, didn't have to wait too long for the order. Beautiful n lovely vibes. Totally worth the time and money.

This is in reference to the take away counter at lunchtime. I have been using this restaurant for lunch take away for years, well before its in the hand of the current owners. I normally pick up lunch box from this place twice a week and for the last two month noticed the the portions of food you get with the regular lunch box are getting smaller and smaller, however, yesterday was a new record... the food left in the trays at the counter was looking dry and a few options totally missing. before ordering i had asked if they have fresh noodles and more breaded chicken strips. The young Chinese looking lady had answered that i will get everything fresh. However, then filled up my lunch box with the dry noodles from the counter tray and added on top a very small amount of chicken that was freshly made but very small quantity... asked for £6.50 before handing the box to me. i had pointed out that she took the dry noodles and that the box is only half full, but i was ignored. to avoid making a scene i paid and went away, upset feeling cheated and the noodles were dry and hard to eat.. i think that this place is going down fast and would not recommend it to anyone there are plenty of better places for lunch take away in the centre of Bristol.. see photo very disappointing...

Yakinori is a family favourite, and Bristol’s Japanese and South Korean community seem to agree, as they took half the seats when we went in for lunch. The main courses (in our case Mighty Duck Pokenori, a steak bowl, and a coconut curry [I think]) are easily enough to fill you up; but on this occasion we pushed the boat out and Gyoza and Bao Buns (OK and some edamame). Food arrived fast, hot and super fresh, but there is no rush to eat and leave, we dallied for a long lunch catch up, it was lovely, as it always is.

Outstanding Service from Tehrim at Yakinori! I recently dined at Yakinori and had an absolutely phenomenal experience, thanks entirely to our waitress, Tehrim. From the moment we sat down, Tehrim was attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful. She managed to strike that perfect balance of being present without being intrusive. She was incredibly patient when we were deciding on our order, offering excellent, insightful recommendations on both the sushi and the ramen dishes. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive and helped us discover some new favorites! What truly set Tehrim apart was her proactive and friendly attitude. Our drinks were always topped up, she checked back at the perfect times, and she made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. She handled the busy service with grace and a constant, genuine smile. Tehrim is a true asset to the Yakinori team, and her dedication to excellent customer service made our meal a five-star experience. Amazing atmosphere, love the playlist 🎶 food was so good I forgot to take pictures of everything 🙈 my favourite was the desert, we had the whiskey cake, with the vanilla ice cream! Had a lovely dinner here last night as a table of four. Four is a great number as we got to order more dishes to try. We were advised 3-4 dishes per person and we ordered 10 hot dishes, the hummus and two breads but definitely over ordered for our group. Food was great. Stand out dishes for me were the ox tongue and the wild boar croquettes. Both were deliciously braised and rich with flavour. The sauces on both dishes complemented the star ingredients very well. Service was good, the food came to the table very quickly after ordering and kept coming. Waiting staff were nice and friendly too. I thought some of the dishes missed the mark slightly on taste but more personal preference. The collection of dishes sat on the saltier side for me.

Wow this place blew us away. We came from London and wondered why we couldn’t find such good food there. Lovely seasonal British ingredients. It is very nice here. The service is excellent, kind and knowledgeable. The menu itself is a little confusing, It would've been good to know what of the sharing menu was cold plates as it was quite surprising to have very cold ox tongue! The food itself was very good. Especially the hake. I give it 4 stars for the service but don't think I'd return, considering other options in Bristol at this price point.

Inspired by Tokyo, the restaurant brings the bustling atmosphere of 1980s streets to life with its Pan-Asian cuisine and diverse drink selection.
Stunning food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Plentiful portions, loud flavours and steaming hot, well-cooked dishes. Nice and chill atmosphere too, would definitely visit again.

A great spot to wonder in. A funky, interesting and lively atmosphere with an attentive staff and very decent food and drink. The cocktails, while having some fun names that fit in with the vibes are tasteful and refreshing and the food is filling and full of flavour! Would recommend this to anyone passing by.

✨ Four Wise Monkeys, Bristol ✨ Tried out Four Wise Monkeys and wow, what a treat! 😍 🍸 Snake in the Monkey’s Shadow – 10/10! This cocktail was fruity, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. Absolute must-try! 🍹🔥 🍔 Korean Fried Chicken Bao Bun – The flavour was incredible, with just the right amount of sauce, and the bun was super fresh. Easily one of the best baos I’ve had! 🤤👌 🍟 Kimchi Fries – Decent, but I wished there was more sauce to bring out the flavours. A little underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal. Would I go back? Absolutely! The bao and cocktail alone are worth the visit! 🏃‍♂️💨 #BristolEats #FoodieAdventures #FourWiseMonkeys #BaoBunLove #KoreanFriedChicken #CocktailGoals #FoodReview #BristolFoodScene

Food was nice and filling although the chilli oil with the dumplings was way too salty. I'm always one for flavour and I love chilli oil but this one was way too over powering with the salt that we barely finished it. Everything else was super delicious though. Sometimes it was a bit hard to get the waitress's attention but that wasnt too troublesome.

Saturday night venture here was a success! Great atmosphere as there was a live DJ. Wanted a pause from booze and got a cucumber seltzer, super fresh and unique. Got the tonkotsu ramen, pork belly was perfectly cooked, the soy egg was like crack, my only critique would be there was far too much pickled ginger that spoiled other delicate flavours. My mum had the miso glazed salmon which was also lush. If you fancy Asian food with a vibe then come here. AND it’s dog friendly! I can’t say service was attentive, it was just service.

Came here for dinner for the first time this week. Staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Korean chicken burger was so good! Really sticky, sweet and spicy! Would not advice wearing anything white while eating that though! And the kimchi fries were exactly what you’d want. Would definitely come back.

A place with a great vibe, cool music and tasty food. We went there for dinner with a group of friends- booking was quick and easy. Great selection of dishes: we choose buns and burgers (KFC Burger was superb) some starters and curry fries. If I could improve anything it would be cocktails, but all in all each of us was happy with what they ordered and had fun.

We just had lunch here today and we had a very pleasant experience beginning with a round of cider a d delicious KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) along with kimchi-topped fries. I had pork dandan noodles which was quite satisfying and just had a moderate amount of spiciness. Friendly and accommodating staff. The lady at the noodles section was very helpful and cheerful when I asked for sauces. Overall, a great experience.

Nestled in Staple Hill, Shadin is a beloved Indian restaurant that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Renowned for its delightful Chicken Ceylon and praised as one of the best curry houses in Bristol, this charming eatery offers an impressive variety of curries that cater to all palates. Diners rave about the warm atmosphere and friendly service, making everyone feel like part of the family—regulars are greeted with hugs and handshakes!
Excellent food and service. Best Indian food around. Reasonable prices. Eat in or take away. Small dining area with lovely atmosphere. BYO. Would highly recommend. This was my go to for Indian food when they first opened and now I'm back in Bristol, am so glad they are still here and the food is every bit as amazing as it always was.

Great food!! :) Ready quickly, the portions are super generous, and the staff are friendly! We really liked the Chicken Tikka Pasanda and the Chicken Jhal, such lovely flavours. The garlic rice was way above what we expected too! :) Thank you for the great meal :)

Picked up a takeaway recently. One of the best Brístol curries I’ve had. Each of our curries tasted really distinct - I had chicken Dhansak. Good portions. Great nan and popadoms too. Looking forward to coming back.

Rang up to ask what would be suitable for a vegan starters and main . Couldn’t have been more helpful, gave lots of suggestions. Had a Bhuna, delicious sag bhajis, mushroom biryani and much more. Food was outstanding!! Fast delivery and beautifully presented in its packaging. Can always rely on shadins

I have only ordered delivery here. They have been slow and messed one order up before. But this is 100% forgivable because their food is outstanding. I like a curry but I hate the oilyness. There is no oilyness here. Just incredible food. Probably the best naan bread I have ever eaten. The omlette wrap.. out of this world. The saag bhaji was just incredible. So many indian takeaways puree it or mash it to oblivion. Their Saag Bhaji is perfect. The curry sauces are awesome. Only very minor complaint is that a little hotter (spicyness not temperature) is more to my taste, but I am one for very spicy food. I used to order elsewhere but they have 100% stolen my business and on top of all of that, they are extremely reasonably priced. I really can't throw out anymore superlatives about this place. Try it.

Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
Cathay Rendezvous is a unique dining spot located in a former Georgian library on a charming cobbled street. The restaurant offers a blend of traditional Chinese cuisine with modern twists, featuring Mandarin, Szechuan, and Cantonese dishes. The menu showcases a variety of starters like vegetarian spring rolls, dim sum, satay skewers, and barbecue spare ribs. For the main course, guests can enjoy classic meat and seafood dishes prepared with fresh ingredients.
Me and my partners favourite Chinese in Bristol. Always make you feel very welcome and the food is always excellent with plenty to take home after. Will definitely keep returning here

Ordered the set meal for 2, which ended up being delicious and very filling. A great environment to dine in, but unfortunately felt that the staff were under resourced. We were often left to our own devices with little to no staff service. In the end our food came over an hour after ordering!
Rothmans101 — Google review
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Cathy Rendezvous. I ordered a delivery, and the chicken in my meal was very undercooked to the point of being raw. This is completely unacceptable, as consuming raw chicken poses serious health risks. The quality control and food safety standards at this restaurant clearly need significant improvement. I expected much better, especially for the price. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
Gordon X — Google review
If I could give this a zero I would. I have received an order through uber eats which has given me raw chicken claws amongst my order instead of fried chicken breast in honey sauce. Looking at them makes me feel sick so I can’t even eat the other items. And yet i am only being refunded for the chicken dish. For further help I am referred back to Cathy rendezvous but can only get an automated message referring me to website hence the review. Had I been able to talk to someone and got the full refund requested this could have been avoided.
Helen C — Google review
Whilst the service and quality of food were of an acceptable standard, the value for money was significantly poor with extremely small portions compared to both previous visits at this establishment and other restaurants. My Main Course was more like a Starter in terms of food quality and nutrition with there being very little meat in what was described on the menu as a Steak Fillet dish. I also felt that the drinks provided were of low quality. I ordered a Coconut water which came in a can and was largely sugar. I would expect better at a restaurant of this calibre.
Matthew P — Google review
I visited Cathay Rendezvous with a group of blind people in July. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and were very friendly and helpful. They happily assembled the duck pancakes for one of us as requested. The food was great and the waitress even walked with one of us to the Uber pick up point around the corner. The best customer service I’ve seen in a long time!
Wayne M — Google review
We had an amazing dinner when we visited Cathay Rendezvous. After ordering, the food arrived really quickly and all the different dishes tasted extremely well! Duck, spring rolls, lemon chicken, sweet and sour all of them were perfect! Staff were extremely kind and helpful, they also always smiled and were really positive. A small note for the restaurant; After having finished our dinner, it seemed like we were forgotten. We had to ask couple of times for dessert menus and for someone to help clear our table before the dessert came. It seemed like our last 40mins in the restaurant were spend trying to order dessert and then wait for it to arrive. When we were done, we then walked to the entrance to pay our bill to avoid any further delays.
Chrysanthos ( — Google review
I don't like leaving poor reviews but this is the experience we had. When our food arrived I pointed out to the waitress that I thought the char sui pork came with bean sprouts, that is what it said on the menu. She told me they don't do the bean sprouts any longer, so I pointed out what it said on the menu. She 'went to check' then steadfastly refused to make eye contact with me until we were leaving. They didn't charge us for the meal but that's not really the point. Some communication would have been nice.

Hao Wei is a family-owned takeaway restaurant and bistro located in Bristol, United Kingdom. It offers a wide selection of classic Chinese dishes and Vietnamese pho in a modern setting adorned with a landscape wall mural. With over 130 menu items to choose from, the restaurant aims to serve delicious Oriental cuisine, providing options ranging from traditional Chinese takeout favorites to 'home-cooked' dishes and Vietnamese noodles.
I’m not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food, but my partner loves it, so we gave Hao Wei a try, and I’m so glad we did. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh, and seriously satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s now become a firm favourite for us and part of our go-to hangover cure routine. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if Chinese isn’t normally your first choice, you might be surprised like I was!

I was really excited to try here as a Coeliac who hasn't had a Chinese in a year since being diagnosed; but unfortunately the food was such a let down. The atmosphere was good and bustling. Both ladies serving were nice. You order off a QR code (i know lots of places do this now, not my favourite, it feels so impersonal to me :( I had the GF chop suey which looked insipid and tasted it too. The sauce was a very odd consistency and so unbelievably bland. The egg fried rice was nice. My friend had the non GF crispy beef and said it was okay, but also didn't taste of much. This dish was listed as having a GFO and when I asked one of the waitresses what was the GFO, she said Im not 100% sure but I assume its a different sauce. Not exactly reassuring. When asked if the meal was ok to be honest I said yes because I'd waited all day for my food and so did eat it all. The meal was ended with the waitress giving the bill and saying 'it does not include a service charge'. Which was an odd thing to highlight. Almost £10 for egg fried rice seems pretty high. Unfortunately I've also been on the toilet numerous times today unwell.

We have been here a few times for dinner as a family and all the time food was on the spot. They have a good range of food options from starter to dessert. However, some of the desserts are out of stock most of the time. Service is okay, but could have been better. Overall it's a good place with good service. Pros: Price, Food Cons: Seating, Service

I am coeliac and haven’t been able to have a Chinese takeaway for a long time. When visiting my sister we found out about Hao Wei, yesterday evening we thought we would give it a go and wow we were not disappointed. I went in person to order so I could check to make sure things would be safe for me to eat (so many GF options available - wanted to check cross contamination etc) the young girl who I first spoke to wasn’t able to answer my questions but quickly found a member of staff who was able to answer all my questions and offer other menu options that weren’t specified on the menu. The food was 10/10 it was so lovely to enjoy a takeaway with my family without feeling like I was eating GF! Thank you Hao Wei! Would recommended 100%!
Rachel H — Google review
Hit or miss food. Fried squid was tasty but Egg fried rice didn’t even taste freshly fried which is such a red flag. Ready in 10 minutes, 3 dishes tasted like cornflour/potato starch and stock. No ‘Chinese’ flavours here. Kind of satisfying at least some of it but could just be so much better. Good for gluten free people.

First time in the restaurant - take away. Great atmosphere and lovely decor. Prompt service at the counter and waiting area is secluded from main dining area. Taka Taka is a Greek restaurant that serves delicious takeout food. It has an inviting atmosphere and is clean, with friendly and polite staff. The food is delicious and well priced.
Ordered a click & collect on Saturday evening and have to say the service was very pleasing with the food being cooked just before our collection time to make sure it was still hot and fresh. I had pork gyros which was very well cooked and not at all chewy which some takeaway pork places can be like. The chicken sauce was unique and worked really well with the pitta and chips that was included. We did get a portion of the courgette nugget things (sorry can’t remember what they were called) - but they were really nice tasting and fresh. You get a substantial amount of food for the price so will certainly be recommending and returning.

had a deeply disappointing experience at Taka Taka in Bristol. The food was far from fresh—specifically, the chicken tasted off and was clearly not prepared recently. The chips were burnt, making them barely edible. The staff were rude and unhelpful, which only added to the unpleasant atmosphere. The restaurant itself had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the tables and seats were sticky, making it an uncomfortable place to sit. For the price charged, the quality was shockingly poor—definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

Absolutely love this Greek restaurant, food is amazing, really good selection, chips are incredible and my favourite dish skepasti. And all the grilled meat is amazing too. The service is always good and friendly. Great choice of desserts. Good selection of drinks, but mainly it’s all about the delicious food with generous portions. After a night out I love to go to this place and even have on a regular day it’s a treat to get a meal here. I keep coming back to this place as the food is so good. And sometimes I would just get some desserts to take home and it’s a delight with a coffee or a tea. The prices are good for what you get.

Quay Street Diner in Bristol offers a classic American diner experience with a trendy twist. The restaurant serves up a wide range of hearty brunch dishes, including fried chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros, and churros. The stylish interior features vintage film posters, rustic wooden tables, and retro red seating. With its outdoor seating and unique graffitied exterior, this hipster haven exudes laid-back industrial charm.
Highly recommend reserving a table as it gets very busy, but for good reason! I had the big breakfast and it was excellent, all items were perfectly cooked and the thick bacon was beautiful. The coffee was also great (black americano). The hostess was brilliant as well, she handled the very busy period with grace and professionalism and was so friendly and helpful. Please give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I visited Bristol for a weekend and visited many places but this one is very poorly managed (maybe consider change of whoever runs this). This 1 star goes to the management as there is a lot of things that needs to be improved in this place and has a knock off effect on everything else. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, we made a booking for 10:30, the place was massively understaffed. Because of lack of staff, the waitresses and people making drinks were super busy and couldn’t keep up (definitely not their fault) but they couldn’t provide good customer service due to that. Our coffee drinks arrived about 20-25 mins after our food, and then I found out my coffee was not what I ordered. There was constant flow of people coming in. Bacon pancakes were good, service was slow. We finished food and then coffees arrived. My vegan waffles were pretty average but that wasn’t the issue. This place is very popular and it needs a lot more staff members - because of lack of staff, customers are not happy when mistakes happen and then obviously it affects waiters (I’m sure this place has high staff turnover, I wouldn’t want to work here). As seen on photo, my table and chair was an inch in front of the disabled toilet which I found very grim regardless if the toilet was in use or not. This table should be for one person only and not for two. None of the above is staff members fault, they are trying their best but this is the only food place in Bristol that needs heavy management changes as clearly it needs works. Sadly we will not be returning here. I highly recommend “be natural cafe” in the market hall, their breakfast was 1000% better.

The wings were dry but there was a good quantity. Unfortunately they forgot to provide the sauce. Fries were good, crispy, definitely above average. The burger was good, could do with more sauce. The beef was interestingly shaped. I prefer five guys though.

Had breakfast here. Got there by 11.55am and we were still allowed to choose from the breakfast menu. The food was good. I had waffles and chicken with bacon. I don't like syrup but it's supposed to come with it. Also, there were lumps of sugar in the waffles. I think this is something I will never get used to. I don't have a sweet tooth so that threw me off but the chicken and bacon was crispy and nice. I had this with hot chocolate which tasted and looked good My husband had the diner Dreamland burger served with onion rings. It says with chips on the receipt, I honestly just noticed as I'm typing this review. But he was not served any chips. He had his meal with coca cola Overall a good experience. Meal came on time and was hot. Service charge was applied.

I had a very pleasant meal here, with two friends. The service was very pleasant, the food was particularly tasty, I can highly recommend the chicken waffles and bacon pancakes looked delicious. I would also recommend trying an oat milk hot chocolate if you get a chance as they are sublime. Overall the visit was very pleasant. I really enjoyed myself and the delicious food set me up for a lovely day exploring Bristol. I cannot recommend this diner enough if you enjoy the aesthetics and food of nostalgia Americana. Thank you
Guren — Google review
I’ve had food from this place a few times now. What I can say is: delivery is better than restaurant, chicken is better than beef and if you’re going to get fries, get the “dirty” ones. Good stuff mostly, but a little inconsistent in the quality and doneness of the food. Waiters are always great and helpful though.
Udea — Google review
A beautiful spot with a really nice atmosphere in the heart of the city. The food is excellent and really well presented, but beware that the waiters can sometimes take a little longer than expected. This is simply because they are so busy and they put in the effort. The food is worth the wait.

King Street Brew House is a popular spot in Bristol known for its modern British cuisine and house-brewed beers. The venue features a brick- and wood-lined interior with a basement bar, offering a cozy atmosphere to enjoy delicious food and drinks. The pub's iconic beer garden, although lacking grass, provides ample space for patrons to relax and soak up the sun while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter and lively conversations.

James B — Google review
After Graduation this week, I recently visited the King Street Brewery in Bristol. While the location is undeniably lovely, we left feeling that it didn't quite live up to its own hype. Situated near the river, the brewery boasts a charming setting that is perfect for a relaxing drink in an historic street. The ambiance is pleasant, and on a sunny day, it's an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. However, when it comes to the beer and overall experience, the King Street Brewery falls a bit short. The selection of beers is decent, but it lacks the standout options that would make it a go-to destination for craft beer enthusiasts. The flavors were okay, but nothing particularly memorable or distinctive. In terms of atmosphere, the place is nice enough, but it doesn't have the vibrant energy or unique character that some of the other establishments on the street offer. It feels more like a standard pub rather than a standout brewery. The service was adequate, but nothing exceptional. The staff were friendly enough, but there wasn't the same level of engagement or enthusiasm that can make a visit truly special. The pub across the street was truly unique, mind you. While the King Street Brewery is a pleasant place to stop by, it doesn't quite reach the heights of some of its neighboring establishments. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit for the location alone, but if you're looking for the best beer experience on King Street, you might want to explore a few other options. In summary, the King Street Brewery has a lot going for it with its picturesque location near the river, but it doesn't quite stand out among the many great options in the area. It's a good spot for a not so cheap drink, but not the best on the street.

King street Brew House is one of my absolute favourite pubs! The staff are wonderful and super quick and caring about their job and customers. Beer selection is incredibly wide and their gluten free beers are the best in town. Food is also wonderful. Online ordering is quick and easy, also came through super quick! So no worries if you’re wanting to order on the app as it’ll come just as fast as being as being at the bar… which is super fast. Can’t wait to return!

I visited this establishment recently as I heard they have just released a Normal Beer Lager. I have a very rare and secretive dietary requirement and I am only able to drink normal beer. For too long now, I have remained in the shadows unable to drink unnormal beer but now thanks to KSBH I can be normal like my peers and enjoy a Normal Beer. Crisp and delicious and at 3.4% it is the ideal session lager without the negative repercussions an unnormal beer would give me. If you're wondering what my rare dietary requirement is maybe mind your own business, yeah?

Tuk Tuck is a popular spot in Bristol, offering a modern setting with outdoor seating and a menu featuring Korean dishes. The restaurant is widely loved for its wide array of options including Bibimbap, Beef Bulgogi, Dumplings, and the crowd favorite Kimchi loaded fries. Conveniently located in the city center, Tuk Tuck also offers a hearty selection of vegan options such as flavorful katsu curry with crispy tofu or pumpkin.
Really nice chicken katsu curry. £11.50 is extremely reasonable for the big portion you get and I enjoy it! Can’t say I’ve ever had authentic katsu curry to compare this to but I like the dish enough that I’ve gone back for it a couple times. Also interesting to note that I can eat it despite having terrible spice tolerance. I asked the lady at checkout if this dish was meant to be spicy and she said no - I ordered it and although I did find it spicy, I somehow enjoyed it? Usually if something is spicy to me I cannot eat it at all but I ate the whole plate. Just an extra bonus that this dish is helping me develop my tolerance lol!
Naya — Google review
Went here solo to try their tofu and mushrooms bibimbap. I have not had this 'standard' of bibimbap in a very long time. Only the mushrooms were cooked and seasoned properly. The fried tofu piece were overly dry, and along with the rice were lukewarm. The fried egg in the middle, along with the other ingredients, pretty much had no temperature. No sauce came with the dish, but some were available on each table. Had to clean the table myself. I do wonder if it's always like this. The experience was really disappointing especially given other reviews.

I had the chicken red curry with rice which came to £9 . I was not able to finish it as there was quite a lot . I also had the Veggie Japanese gyozas which were delicious! There isn't very much room in the place, so It can be difficult to get a seat. Nice place to pop in and have a bite if you're passing by in town!

The cuisine was great, and there were several vegan options. I would recommend coming here for any a meal because it was excellent. Also, the location is extremely close to the city. It provides a lovely, calm environment inside. My only concern was that they could need more ventilation because they serve fried food. The majority of the grease airflow circulates around the sitting area, making your entire clothing smell.

Dog friendly, great gluten free menu, vegetarian options and a lovely atmosphere, couldn’t have asked for more! We were in a rush and this place was perfect. Healthy yummy food, served with a smile. Great value for money too. We will certainly be back next time we are exploring Bristol.

The food was amazing and so many vegan options. Recommend going here for any meal, it was so good. Very close location to the city too. It has a nice relaxed feel inside.
Kate M — Google review
The price of the food is ok, I guess, but the price for drinks in this place is just silly, £2.40 for a can, A CAN! I’ve not seen a price hike that astronomical since freddo decided to rip the world off! The quality of the food though is really good! I had the katsu curry and it was lovely! The service was really good and the staff are all really friendly! I will definitely be visiting again, just without the mortgage for a drink.

Fried chicken takeaway
Oowee Vegan Baldwin St. is a popular spot in Bristol known for its plant-based vegan offerings, including fried chicken, burgers, and soft-serve ice cream. The restaurant has gained fame for its meaty vegan burgers and has expanded to different locations, including one in London. The menu offers a variety of tempting options that are designed to appeal even to non-vegan diners. With its success, the owners have opened a dedicated vegan diner on Baldwin Street in the city center.
We love Oowee! It's a must everytime we're in Bristol. So many choices and exciting monthly specials. The new boneless bites are delicious. So sad they stopped doing the vegan milkshakes though, they were the best 👌

We had some lovely lunch here. Everything is vegan! I had a bacon Mac and cheese, chilli cheese nuggets, and my husband had chicken tenders. All of it was soo flavourful , this is proper vegan junk food. The service was a bit lifeless and curt which even for a place that is mostly a takeaway felt a bit low.
Caroline K — Google review
Wow, I mean wow. As an Australian, I keep gaslighting myself when I walk into vegan venues. Oowee Vegan Baldwin was exceptional.. The menu was so comprehensive and inclusive. I enjoyed "the big bacon cheese" with and impossible patty, bacon, American cheese, baconaise -hold the gherkins. This was a delicious "sometimes" Burger. Definitely no pillar of health however a wonderful cheat meal. As a side Ioved the small portion of the bacon Mac n cheese. I can't fault the flavors of anything here.

I'm non-vegan but my mum is lacto-vegetarian & partner is has a lactose intolerance so I've been trying to get them to go here for nearly 2 years! Food was amazing, the people were amazing & I was so happy as they can't stop talking about how good it was! Will definitely be going there again!

Food was amazing, the chocolate milkshake was fabulous. I do wish one Oowee could open a place closer to home. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Bristol

Had the bacon Swiss chicken burger... it was banging. The normal fries id pass on next time and upgrade to waffle fries as they looked incredible. Fantastic choice on the menu, to the point where it took me ages to know what I wanted as it was all veggie. So glad I found this place! Lovely service!

A great dining experience and impeccable service. The staff are incredibly attentive, the spicy tuna roll and salmon sushi are fresh and expertly prepared, as are the curried chips, katsu arancini and the seaweed salad. A must-visit spot for great food and genuinely warm hospitality.

Went for a birthday meal with some family last night, I was seriously impressed with seven lucky gods. The food for a start was incredible, as a 'tapas' style restaurants it comes out as it's ready which seemed to be quite quickly. This meant we started off with some and quite happily ordered more with the safe knowledge that it'd come while we were still eating. The staff were excellent, very kind and knew the menu well. Was offered a birthday drink, can't complain. Plenty of seating, some indoor and some out so book ahead if you want to sit inside. Highly recommend to anyone.
George H — Google review
I visited the Japanese restaurant Seven Lucky Gods and was quite satisfied with the taste of the dishes. The fried potatoes were especially delicious – simply amazing. However, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, the menu doesn't indicate the portion sizes, which makes ordering a bit difficult, especially when you're with a group. Additionally, the portion size of some dishes doesn't match the price. For example, for £7, we received a very small piece of fish, which was a bit surprising. It would be great if the restaurant could address these issues. Also, keep in mind that the service charge is included in the bill. Otherwise, everything else was great – nice atmosphere and tasty food.

Been wanting to check out this place since I saw it on an episode of Topjaw on YouTube. It didn't disappoint. The food was incredible, cooked fresh direct from the open planned kitchen where you can see everything happening. I will absolutely be revisiting.

The tofu with kale was delicious and really spicy. I didn't expect the chickpea curry to be full of savour too. The only thing that we didn't like at all was the drinks. Too sweet for us, the smoothie too.

Drove an hour to eat here at 6pm on Monday. Doors shut, closed. Please update your hours! Rang the number and can see through the window a lady at the counter, she just hung up the phone without answering. We tried calling ahead of time too and assume she did same thing. Would have saved us a wasted trip and parking fee if she actually answered. Pretty disappointing. EDIT: To the response from owner (appreciate a response), however we called a couple of times on route and Open sign was not on, I even knocked on door. Looked closed and watched her hang up the phone she was just sitting at the desk. No other details, so we went somewhere else.

Delicious vegan food! And good value! My sister saw this recommendation on a Bristol newsletter. She’s not vegan. The staff was friendly. I asked them about the name and they explained! We’re non-native speakers. The food was great with generous portions. Bare in mind that if you want some carbs (e.g. rice) with your mains, you need to order a side. Look at the prices! That’s why it’s cheap. I asked for a box to grab the leftover curry to have it for lunch tomorrow. Gluten free mains available too. I wanted something with a sauce so I had the curry. And it was amazing! And I had the curry with the rice and pea (aka beans). My sister chose the jerk tofu and the sauce had great texture and taste. And the tofu was perfectly cooked. She loved it! The kale was really tasty too. We were curious about the fried dumplings. It wasn’t my thing but my sister loved them! We loved the fried plantain too! The were perfectly ripe and sweet. I had the Guinness punch - since it was one of the last remaining Fi Real drinks (they’re in the side fridge by the way). It was interesting and with a nice texture but I don’t have a sweet tooth. The atmosphere was quiet - Sunday evening. Everyone was just chatting and the music added to a good vibe. LGTBQA+ friendly.

The menu features locally sourced ingredients, including free-range and organic meat. Inspired by the cantinas of Mexico City, it provides a casual dining experience with a variety of taco options such as shredded pork, chicken & habanero, and cauliflower & peanut romesco.
We visited here a while back with a friend, just about managed to get a seat, there's a few there, but it's super popular and no booking in advance. Great selection of tapas on the menu and a great choice of drinks, especially the cocktails which we all enjoyed!
Jake P — Google review
Nice helpful staff. Food was excellent, really nice, lovely tangy salsa, juicy chicken, overall great quality ingredients, recommended. Only reason it's not 5* is the price. I ordered a chicken burrito and paid £4 extra for a large and £1.50 for sour cream. £15.40 for one burrito is expensive in my book. I actually checked with one of the chefs behind the counter if it was in fact a large because (as can be seen by the photo) it certainly wasn't massive. Excellent quality food which is the most important thing, just the portions are a bit off for me. Had the size I ordered been the £9.90, it would've been on the small side but perfectly acceptable compared to competitors, especially considering the quality Anyway, go, great food!
Alex B — Google review
If you come here and don’t get the nachos.. you are making a GRAVE mistake. These are the best nachos I have ever had in my entire life. Must go. The tacos were good but I felt we needed sour cream! The nachos with all the sauces and chorizo and chicken was insane and more than enough for 2-3 people.

Just behind M She'd and nicely guarded from those horrible diving seagulls. Bar staff very friendly and full of recommended local drinks. On hot days, chilled water is served as soon as you are seated. Nice.
Mick L — Google review
We had the sharing platter that was £25pp (for 5 of us). All of the dishes were flavoursome, our waiter was extremely helpful as well. What let it down was the wai, we had to wait almost an hour for our starter (fully loaded nachos), where it was difficult to find the chicken and chorizo (this is definitely a starter for 2 max only). We also then had to wait about an hour for our main and our first set of drinks (margaritas) only came with our nachos.
Pretash P — Google review
Super friendly waiters and waitresses, great food and lovely atmosphere. Only thing we would do differently is go for the specific taco options rather than the vegetarian sharing platter.

2024: Great nachos and had awesome tacos here before. Not a cheap eats but pretty authentic (yes I’ve been to Mexico). Update 2025: Went back here with the same friends and had an even better time. Ordered a large haddock and two medium chips from Just Eat this evening. The chips were awful; tiny portions, well overcooked and dry. Been going here for years and without doubt the worst I've ever had. Rang them to complain and all I got was sorry and that they are busy! Sadly service has declined in recent months, a real shame as I used to look forward to a Farrows and recommended them to friends.
Christian P — Google review
Been going here for years the price has gone up as the portions have gone down. Used to get 4 halloumi but now 3 and the chips sizes are less than half of what you used to get. Wouldn’t mind but it is expensive for what you get now. Services was lovely, didn’t think much of the rest of the staff. Shame.

Very disappointed. Went in Saturday 8.30..chios weren't that fresh and cod although a substantial piece had obviously been cooked a while before.
Brigitta L — Google review
The food is always good but the service if you go into the shop is awful. Bunch of children serving, clueless as to what you’ve ordered and serving other people their food before you even though on this occasion all I ordered was a large chips. Not sure how anyone who’s ordered after me can get their food before considering one chap ordered a small chips. Fuming. As you can probably tell.

FIRST AND LAST VISIT. My Mum and I wish we had continued to drive past this fish and chip takeaway with such a good reputation! Our experience was certainly memorable, but not for the right reasons. £20.70 for two regular fish and chips with 1 curry sauce. The chips had obviously been sitting in old oil for a considerable time and the fish was unexceptional. I still have the oil taste in my mouth and the indigestion in my stomach the next day from the few chips I could eat by smothering them in the equally unexceptional curry sauce. Such a shame for a fish and chip takeaway who, from other reviews, can obviously produce edible food from time to time.
Miriam P — Google review
Cute little place without much seating or parking nearby. Overall the experience was okay, but the service was oddly trite and not warm (which is surprising for the UK). The fish and the pickled eggs were definitely the highlights. The egg in particular was nice and light with a tart finish (not overwhelming at all). The cod was well fried and wasn't too greasy. The chip order (medium) was far too large for one person and we're a bit over fried and dried-out for my liking, but maybe it was just a poorly made batch.

Nice greek restaurant. We have been twice, the first time had quite a few more options on the menu than the second for some reason but the food was solid, definitely representing greece well. Portion sizes were huge which made up for the fact that it was a little more pricey than other restaurants. Good food, really nice atmosphere, would recommend

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Greek Experience in Kingswood! I visited this beautiful Greek restaurant in Kingswood on Saturday, and honestly, I was blown away from the moment I stepped inside. The atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and full of authentic Mediterranean charm — it really felt like being transported straight to Greece for the evening. The décor was tasteful, cozy, and welcoming, with lovely music playing softly in the background, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and making sure everything was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in what they do. Service was quick, professional, and full of positive energy. Now, let’s talk about the food — absolutely outstanding! Every single dish was bursting with authentic Greek flavors. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. I tried a mix of starters, including the tzatziki, grilled halloumi, and calamari, and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For the main course, I went for the lamb souvlaki, which was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, served with perfectly cooked rice and salad. The flavors were so balanced and delicious that I could have easily eaten it all over again! The desserts were just as impressive — the baklava was heavenly, crispy on the outside with the right amount of sweetness, and the Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was the perfect light finish to the meal. What truly made the experience special was how genuine everything felt — the hospitality, the atmosphere, and of course, the food. You can tell this restaurant is run with love and passion for Greek culture and cuisine. Overall, it was an unforgettable dining experience — amazing food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Greek food in Bristol. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner, a date night, or a family gathering, this spot in Kingswood is an absolute gem. I can’t wait to go back! 🇬🇷💙

Greek restaurant
The Grecian Kebab House is a beloved take-out spot in Bristol, known for its Mediterranean fare and delicious pizzas. While it may be a bit off the beaten path for many city-goers, locals and students in Montpelier and St Andrews frequent this establishment. Following a fire, the kebab house quickly reopened to continue serving their renowned pizzas at an affordable price. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service add to the appeal of this quaint pizzeria.
This is the place ! Cheap ! Tasty! Filling ! And will leave you happy! Cant explain how good the food is and if i ever happen to be in bristol then id come here again . Best 12inch £5 pizza ive had ! 🙏🏼 thanks

Absolutely shocking. Attitude, arrogant, they domy speak English. The food looked and tasted absolutely revolting. Looks like a cat has been sick in a pizza box. Do not recommend AT ALL. Halloumi & salad ( as seen in pics) was £6.00 That “ stone baked “ pizza was raw Kebab was soaking wet.. literally the pitta had dissolved. Honestly shocked. They obviously don’t care what they serve or take pride in what they do. Very big shame & complete contempt to Bristol.

Is the first time I’ve used this takeaway, following a recommendation from a respectable shop in the area. Therefore, I decided to treat my wife and kids to a kebab following our good experiences in the Middle East. However, unfortunately our experience begun as soon as I asked the chef if the chicken and lamb meat rolls were already under heat. He said they were, but then proceeded to light the gas burners, so God knows for how many hours The Meat rolls have not been heated. anyway, we ordered one Doner kebab and one chicken kebab, both of which lacked freshness with the Doner kebab being quite anaemic and the chicken kebab being very crispy, but stale at the same time. The salad filling with the meat were not very fresh, and the bread I wouldn’t describe as a pita bread, but more of a doughy thick wrap. I also note that there were quite a few flies in the shop, that Should have been already eradicated. Overall, our experience was very low, and I’m only give one for all areas. No wonder this establishment has a 3.5 star rating which I believe is way too high.

Had an order from Uber eats. The delivery driver took 90 minutes which is a joke but maybe not the takeaways fault. Food was minging. Everything cold and soggy. Worst thing is the chicken was completely burnt. I rang to complain and the guy thinks chicken cooked on charcoal should look like charcoal. Completely burnt and tasteless. Salad was old and soggy.

Sad to report being very unwell after eating a chicken donner here. Nearly two weeks to recover so pretty serious. Yes, this was the kebab house to visit in Bristol for many years and I regularly enjoyed a tasty bite there. I wont be returning now . Proceed with caution kebab lovers :(

Do NOT get the garlic mayo from here- it has neither garlic nor mayo in it and seems to be rainbow pepper flavoured and unrefrigerated. Made me feel so sick and couldn’t eat the chips that had touched it. Also, the man behind the counter was unbelievably hostile/ rude and passed judgement on the fact we ordered a large portion of chips instead of a small (between 2). We would also describe him as aggressive. The chips were ok.

Pizzarova, founded by Alex Corbett in 2015, started as a mobile pizza business and has now expanded to three locations in Bristol. Known for its ever-changing menu and popular pizza delivery service, Pizzarova gained fame during lockdown with its DIY pizza kits. The pizzeria's sourdough pizzas are highly praised, with favorites like the Margherita deluxe and double chorizo with hot honey.
I have to say, Coming from New York and Having Pizza at Pizzarova i was very sceptical because my pizza Love Bar is very High Especiall coming from New York. Well I was Very Happy with the Outcome at this Establishment. They exceded my expectations and then some. Their pizza was well made, Flavourful, Fresh and overall Great. The Staff were very professional, Curtious & attentive especially Beth our Server. I was welcomed the Minute i walked in and the Menu was explained to me. We had an absolute wonderful experience here. So if you live in the Area or are just stopping by i definitely reccomend a Visit. ENJOY....

Me and my partner stopped here when passing by on a trip to Bristol and so glad we did as the pizza was incredible. This was the best vegan pizza I've ever had in my entire life. I had the plant-based lamb pizza, with the vegan garlic dip and my partner had the fancy ham and pineapple pizza and we were both blown away. Will have to come back to Bristol again!

Sonny Stores is a charming Italian restaurant located in South Bristol, known for its seasonal dishes and relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. Run by a husband-and-wife team, the restaurant offers a delightful selection of Italian cuisine, making it an ideal spot for a quick lunch or a romantic dinner with organic wine. Despite its small size, Sonny Stores has garnered praise from both local patrons and national critics alike.
We love Sonny Stores and were so happy that they were able to cater our wedding! Jenna was brilliant in the lead-up—so helpful, great at keeping in touch, and made organising everything so easy. On the day, Pegs cooked an amazing 4-course dinner and canapés that everyone loved, and the staff were absolutely wonderful—so friendly and attentive. Sonny Stores were also fantastic at helping with the wine, having us taste several wines to make sure we found something that went well with our main course. Highly recommend for your special occasions!

Came here for my graduation and messed up my booking (All my fault) but they were super accommodating. It was my third time here and the food is alway top notch. Shame I have graduated as now I won’t be able to go as often.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing amazing time celebrating our anniversary at Sonny Stores. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was unreal. My boyfriend loved his pizza, and my pasta was perfect. The starter bread was also delicious! We dine out in London a lot and came to Bristol for the weekend, but we left wishing we lived in Bristol so we could eat here more often :)
Erin B — Google review
We had a really delicious meal at Sonny Stores this past weekend. The service was phenomenal- you really couldn’t ask for more. We had loads of questions and our kind waitress talked us through the whole menu and was clearly very passionate about the dishes on offer. The pizzetta was tasty and I appreciated how happy the staff were to make an adjustment to make it vegetarian. The castelfranco salad was divine. My friends loved their ossobuco and thought it was worth every penny. My ravioli was tasty too, as was the focaccia. There were many stars to this meal. My two wishes would be for a slightly nicer interior - the plastic chairs don’t seem to chime with the fine dining menu that this restaurant offers. We were also let down with the tiramisu, which seemed to have split and just didn’t taste great. But I’m putting that down to an off batch as I know how great it looks on other reviews. After tip we paid £150 in total for 3 people, including a bottle of wine. This felt fair enough.

One word for you: BRUNCH! We went a couple of weeks ago, or whenever they started to serve brunch. And what a great idea that was! We ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Everything was so, so tasty, all washed down with a good French press cafetière. The menu is small, but OMG, it is so well done and good. Every single dish was memorable. From the simple but not too sweet cinnamon roll served with butter and caramel sauce, to the Billingsgate bun, Are you ready?: Scallops, black pudding, bacon, egg, and plenty of magic and love 🤯🤯🤯. It is so hard to find a good spot for quality brunch, whether in Bristol, London, or any city. It is normally overrated, overpriced, and the same menu everywhere. But at Sonny’s Stores, that is not the case. You see their Italian and Mediterranean influence, but you also see quality and passion for great food and good quality products. Anyway, go and try it soon. You are welcome! P.s. they have a beautiful private room upstairs where they can fit around 14 people for a nice private celebration (if you have that many Friends)

Lovely neighbourhood joint. Impeccable food and cool decor inside. The pizza is awesome and the flavours of the cod exquisite. Also loved the tiramisu.

The experience at Sonny Stores has been exceptional every time we have come for dinner. My husband and I are both vegetarian, there are always plenty of options so we don’t end up eating the same dishes - we never leave hungry! Fish and chips takeaway
Fast food restaurant
Clock Tower Fish Bar in Bristol, located in Kingswood, has gained a strong reputation as one of the top chippys in the area. Voted as the best fish and chip shop in Bristol by Bristol Live, it offers high-quality produce cooked with care and skill. Operating from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, they provide both takeaway and delivery services. The establishment is known for its friendly staff and delicious food, particularly fresh cod with chunky flakes in a top-notch batter.
Number 1 fish and chips restaurant Even my Hungarian chef dad said Simple the Best Highly recommended
Beata M — Google review
I wanted to give Clock Tower Fish Bar 5 stars as the food was great, chips tasted crispy and fluffy inside, Irish curry sauce was rich, creamy with a good amount of hotness and the vegan battered sausage, the batter was light, taste was fantastic. The place felt a little dated and a little dirty. A cook came from the back, he had a cold or something and not once but twice swiped his nose in his fingers and then without washing his hands proceeded to handle food and serve a customer. Luckily it wasn't us. The server was pleasant, obviously saw us looking at the vegan menu, went to the counter and told he would take our order soon, waited about 3-5 minutes which is fine. I said I'd like to order from the vegan menu, he turned to the other guy and asked if vegan menu was on. The guy said chips, Irish curry sauce and sausage /battered sausage, this was great, as its definitely more than other chips shops. Food tasted great, would recommend chips, Irish curry sauce and battered sausage. Fantastic that they have a vegan menu. Overall was good experience.

The chips are lovely tasty crispy juicy shop made (not those horrible floury pre frozen ones) and look at the fish, cooked perfectly and lovely crispy batter. I couldn’t eat all the chips. Thanks for being so nice :)

I have always had a nice fish and chip here, generous portions, and room to eat inside if you like. Easy to find on the High Street right by the clocktower, and it’s been here as long as I can remember!
Paul S — Google review
Food and drink 9/10 Service 7/10 Decor and atmosphere: 6/10 Service speed 8/10 Cost 7/10 The best: Being from NZ I haven't been able to find a decent fish and chips in the UK until now! The worst: Small menu but I guess you are really here for only one reason. Price isn't cheap but on par with other places which serve up average food. The lowdown: The cod is fresh with big chunky flakes in a top notch batter. Chips? Well they are hand cut and smooth... It's almost like mashed potato on the inside! Chips are chips but these guys do em good! Place itself is a bit bleak but you probably aren't planning on dining in and will take away. Will be my go to spot for my cravings.
Benjamin T — Google review
We recently bought fish and chips at the clock tower and it was really nice. The batter was crispy, chips were lovely and fluffy on the inside, and the temperature was still good by the time we drove home. The place is really clean, and offers seating if needed. The seating area has had a face-lift since my last visit. The staff are friendly and whilst the food was cooked fresh, it was served quickly so we didn't have to wait too long.

Extremely disappointed with the portion, really not worth with the amount that I have to pay. You guys used to be better but this is really sad. Won't be coming again.
Pravindharan B — Google review
Extremely disappointed! The service was really bad. The person who was rolling the wrap didn't wear gloves. From the beginning - receiving my order till packing the wrap he didn't wear gloves. Usually wrap has a decent amount of meat n veggies, he didn't give enough meat n veggies. Handling the wrap was also bad. He was throwing the wrap after warming it. Very unprofessional.
Jagan J — Google review
I was attracted to this restaurant by the google ratings but tbh, kebab was very average. Me and friends went for the large kebab wraps, it costed us £9 each. By the looks of the shop and chefs, it did seem to be the best wrap I was about to devour but it was very mid. The meat was very less compared to the size of the wrap, sauce was not prominent, at the end it tasted like dry salads in a wrap. Overall, it was not at all worth the price. No hate towards the chefs or the shop, if you could fill enough meat and sauce in the wrap it might taste better (completely my opinion).

This is my favourite takeaway and always enjoyed the food. Staff really friendly and food delicious. However we had a takeaway last night and didn't enjoy as much. Husband said prawns didn't taste great.
Tracy D — Google review
A game of two half's tbf. Singapore chowmein was pretty nice and the sweet and sour chicken balls, they deserved 4 stars, service deserved a 5. However the Tom Yum Soup was lacking in flavour and the thing that knocked it down to a 3 is the fact I had to pay for prawn crackers because I spent under £25 but they were stale. Constructive criticism, if you charge thats fine but make sure it's good 👍

Such a friendly local Chinese, the food is excellent and it’s a lovely family run Chinese restaurant. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am a regular customer and I have learned in that time which dishes are good and which are disappointing. Sadly there are inconsistencies creeping in even in the dishes they do well. For example, I ordered Beef and Green Peppers on Black Bean Sauce. What I got was Beef and Carrots - only one tiny square of green pepper! If they had been honest and told me they hadn't got any peppers, I would have ordered a different dish. Now I am disillusioned and that's another favourite off the shortlist.

Lovely gentleman on the phone, BUT unfortunately the egg fried rice wasn’t even fried im sure it was cooked rice, put in the microwave with an egg and mixed around and the chicken balls were very WERID inside really dark “picture to show” ,…… chips and sauces were nice but that’s not enough for me to go back sorry.

I went here for lunch for my birthday and it was excellent. I had the spicy fish cooking pot and the fish was the best I’ve had in a long time! I’m fairly picky when it comes to fish so I don’t order it a lot but I’m so pleased I took the risk because this was melt in your mouth white fish. There was no ‘fishy’ taste it was very fresh and tasty. I also loved the stuffed animals they had and the fresh flowers. I definitely recommend eating here I was very impressed!

Hope this restaurant can get better and better to make this Chinese delicacy spreading to more people😋

Flour & Ash, located in the Clifton area, is a popular spot known for its fresh wood-fired sourdough pizzas, small plates, cocktails, wine, craft beer and ciders. The pizzeria offers a variety of mouthwatering options including classic Margheritas and unique choices like maple glazed pineapple with Fior di latte or house meatballs with crispy Brussel sprouts.
Really enjoyed this so a shame to discover it’s closing down. I was only the person in there on a Friday lunchtime. I don’t know why as it was very good pizza, fast and friendly service and priced only at £10 including a soft drink and dip. It’s getting everything right from my point of view, but sadly for some reason it’s not working out and closing down for good.
Joe A — Google review
A few interesting pizzas to be found here; a ham and pineapple (although it's not called that), a lamb pizza (never seen that before) and a Korean chicken style one. Had the last two which were both nice with the Korean having the edge. The deep fried lasagna bites were worth sharing also. Nice service and surroundings.
Ian G — Google review
I know this is a pizza place but if you go - get the arancini!! They were absolutely delightful. Genuinely the best I've ever had. The rest of the food was very well seasoned and tasted good too. The salad was slightly underwhelming but overall had a lovely time and yummy well made food!
Eve A — Google review
Visited on a quiet Tuesday lunch time with my daughter and had the £10 adults meal deal which includes a 9” inch Marg (I paid an extra quid for prosciutto), dip (I went for the pesto mayo) and any soft drink. Food all superb, their sourdough pizzas and faultless and I’m obsessed with the dips. Kids meal deal at £10 is slightly higher end but the pasta and ice cream were both demolished with relish so worth it! Kids do eat free with an adults main though (Sun to Friday) - so next time I’d pay for a 12” regular pizza and get the kids meal free, I was just a bit flappy yesterday and hadnt worked out which was better value! (Doh…) Marked slightly lower for atmosphere just because it was a bit empty in there when we visited, but I’ve been when it’s busier and it’s very ‘buzzy.’ We love the decor and vibe.

Good experience overall. Nice food and good service. The arancini is amazing, definitely recommend getting this if you’re going. The risotto is also very good. Unfortunately, like other reviews mention, the pizza I got for my main was very soggy. It was so wet that everytime I picked up a slice everything just fell off, I had to eat it with a knife and fork. If the pizza’s could be made where they aren’t so soggy in the middle then this place would get 5/5 stars. Still finished strong though with some lovely desserts. The chocolate mousse was delicious and the panna cotta was even nicer!
Athena P — Google review
Delicious pizzas vs poor service...with near empty restaurant the food service management was poor, we waited for the drinks order with a near empty restaurant, then proceed to tell us they didn't had 3 things from the menu (a starter that I really wanted and 2 ingredients), we noticed a pizza had came out of oven for quite some time and was just there waiting to get cold...surprise the men on the table next to ours as soon as finished his starter the pizza came to him, we order a side and came at the end of our pizzas again poor timing. At the end I asked to take off service charge and the girl gave me an attitude. The pizzas are really great, loved the food but training is required
Pedro M — Google review
Wood fired Neapolitan style pizza and Italian dishes served in a comfortable setting. We enjoyed some massive olives and a pint to begin. The arancini starter had plenty of sauce under, which was nice and tasty. The Frito misto was excellent. The prawns were particularly crisp and delicious. We also shared the fennel sausage, truffle béchamel and leek pizza - it was well worth the trip up to Bristol for. Such a nice change to a tomato base. We would definitely come again as the food was so nice, with plenty of other dishes that looked worth trying. Service and atmosphere were also nice for a Saturday lunchtime.

Five Grains in Bristol is a charming cafe that offers a delightful Lebanese street food experience. The cozy venue features both indoor and outdoor seating, where visitors can enjoy freshly made Lebanese flatbreads, along with an array of hot and cold drinks, including delicious smoothies and juices. The menu includes vegan options and flavorful treats such as the Zaatar Manoushe. Guests appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly service at this gem in the heart of the city.
Was looking for a healthy breakfast after an unhealthy evening out. Found this place on Google. A smoothie bowl was EXACTLY what I needed and it was delicious. Flavourful, filling, pretty, healthy. I’ll have to check out the Manoushe next time I’m in Bristol; it sounded amazing but I didn’t have room!

Amazing service and the food was great! The juice is really nice but the Lavender tea was a bit overpowering. Overall I have no complaints!

Decided to try somewhere different in Bristol and I’m so glad we did! All the smoothies sounded so good and the one I picked was great. We picked the hummus and baba ganoush deals with pita and salad which was just what we were looking for. Good serving for £7 with even some pita to take home! The decor was natural and it was a pretty spot. Definitely want to return for smoothies and their breakfast bowls which looked amazing too!

Lovely breakfast place. Had a great smoothie bowl and coffee. Very quiet when I went, but it was quite early

One of the best hidden gems on a budget in Bristol. The food is healthy and delicious, and I keep coming back for more. Definitely a really great choice for a lunch in the city centre with a friend.

My husband and I went there for lunch. We had the babaganoush and spinach manouche with mango ginger smoothie. It was delicious, served hot, and very filling. The price was excellent! The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely go back for a meal if we are in the area again.
Maitreyi K — Google review
A lovely little café in the heart of Bristol. My partner and I love to stop in for a smoothie or a juice when we are in Bristol. The baristas are friendly and the vibe is calm, with a woody interior filled with plants to give it a natural vibe. The selection of smoothies and juices are brilliant and not only are they tasty they are also nutritious. The manouche bread is delicious and what stands out most when I eat it is how fragrant it is, typically you taste flavour when eating but this is like tasting flavour and smell, it's hard to explain so drop in and try one for yourself! Keep doing what your doing and we look forward to our next visit. Big love!

New Happy Palace is one of the best value Chinese takeaways in Bristol and its food is consistently rated highly by customers. The takeaway offers a wide range of dishes, all of which are very tasty and well-priced. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a quick and easy meal.
Always been my favourite for years! Id drive miles to get here. Iv moved areas and we still drive here weekly. Just a lovely authentic chinese! Lovely customer service too :)

Best chinese takeaway! We love the food here and always have enough for another meal, the portions are very generous. Staff is always kind as well. Thank you so much!
Diana S — Google review
I did wonder about this Chinese takeaway, the reviews are split between 1 star and 5 stars, who is right!? Well I think this is definitely closer to 5 stars, as Chinese takeaways go the food was delicious and well cooked, the Cantonese Duck I had was really good quality and the Chow Young rice others had suggested was a big portion full of various meaty bits. You can see from my photo I ordered a load of food (some of it was saved for the next day!) My only negative was that the prawn toast didn’t come with sweet & sour sauce, I didn’t realise this needed to be purchased separately... I get that costs have gone up so it’s fine if they want to charge extra for it, but please make it clearer on the menu! Eg: Prawn toast £7 Prawn toast with pot of sauce £9 Having said that it was a good size portion of prawn toast and as good as any I’ve had, if not better! (Sauce in the photo is just a blue dragon one from my fridge, it’s lucky I had some!) Overall though a good experience, I’ll be back to try more of their menu!
Lee J — Google review
Very friendly and very quick. Also threw in a freebie as they didn't have what I wanted. There are one or two staple items I would expect to see which aren't there and the flavour of the food, while nice, was not massively vibrant. However, the service was excellent and the prices are very good. I would definitely go back there next time I wanted a Chinese, mainly based on the service and pricing.
Leeadam A — Google review
They are the Chinese takeaway service. They only accept cash that's the down point but can grab cash from nearby SPAR. I liked this place among other I tried recently. You can ask them for the type of flavours you want.

My favourite local takeaway for the last 14 years I have lived in the area. Beef in black bean sauce, chilli and salt king prawns or chicken balls with curry sauce is my go to on a Friday night. The friendliest service possible.

The customer service at Royal Kitchen in Bristol is excellent, with many people commenting on the friendly and accommodating staff. The portion sizes are also mentioned as being generous, and the food high standard. All in all, a great Chinese takeaway option.
The food as absolutely amazing! Very big portions, and the food is so tasty. This has been the second time we have eaten from here, and we will be back again👌and delivery to Shirehampton, the food arrived around 25 minutes and nice and hot. give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Paul H — Google review
Used to enjoy takeaways from here, but the standard of food has dropped. The Chow Mein was greasy and flavourless, the beef in black bean sauce was just devoid of flavour. The crispy shredded chicken was more rubbery chewy chicken. Chips were also rubbery. A very disappointing experience.
Dan C — Google review
Just had my takeaway and it came after 50 minutes and the food was very bland and the batter on the sweet and sour king prawn balls looked old and was very dry. Very disappointed as we have had takeaway from this place for a few years now
Ollie D — Google review
Simon in the counter was super helpful and kind as always, providing 5 star service. Food was very scrummy 😋😋😋 complimentary tango was delectable.

I can't say much about the rest of the menu because I haven't tried it. We always order the same thing. Singapore Vermicelli and Deep fried Prawns in chilli garlic and salt. Its always excellent. Today I mixed it up a bit and got pork fried rice with extra veg, low soy, and asked them to spice it up a bit for me. They were totally cool with my special request and it was great as usual. I also want to add that my partner and I have been ordering from here for years. It has always been quick, friendly, and a good portion size for money.

I had a house special fried rice this evening, it was very enjoyable. Was it the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life? No, but the prices are very reasonable, the portions are generous and overall the food is very good. I was surprised by the amount of meat I got too, I expected a lot less. It was ready very quickly too. I'll definitely order from here again.

Oowee Diner Picton St. is a laid-back, self-service eatery that specializes in plant-based burgers and chicken sandwiches. Despite the common perception of vegan food being healthy, Oowee recognizes that vegans also crave indulgent comfort food. This led to the opening of their third burger joint exclusively catering to dairy and meat-free diets.
After years of following these guys on their socials I finally made the trip to Bristol and tried it out. It was more than worth the wait. The burgers are amazing

Absolutely stunning food, and always quick service. Everything is well made and seems to be in house, (except possibly some of the cheesy bite sides but which are also amazing.) I keep going back just to try another menu item, they all sound so good! I can’t wait to visit the restaurant itself.

Truly outstanding burgers and excellent fries. Funny, happy bunch of cooks, too. The park up the street is perfect to devour your sack of deliciousness and the offie next door has excellent craft beer in cans.

Visited the hole-in-the-wall location on Picton Street (the very first one!) - we were served by the bright and smiley Kyla who really brought some good energy to our bank holiday Monday. She was helpful in discussing the menu options and quick in preparing the food, which is some of the best we’ve had (which, in as vegan-friendly a city as Bristol, is a tall order). The food was delicious, flavoursome and all put together really well. It’s refreshing to have so many options and catered to all tastes. Whether you’re a vegan or not, a visit to Oowee should be top of your list of places to visit when you’re in Bristol.

⸻ Fantastic takeaway and great service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We picked up a takeaway from Oowee Burger in Bristol and were really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious – we had the burger, dirty fries, chilli cheese bites, and cauliflower bites, all packed with flavour. The sauces were especially tasty and tied everything together perfectly. Special mention to Aysha and Jack, who were both so friendly and helpful – they really went above and beyond to make the experience great. Highly recommend if you’re after top-quality comfort food and excellent service!

Better Food is a local and organic food store that also offers eco-friendly health and beauty products, along with cafes at multiple locations. The cafes serve up organic brunch options, catering well to vegans with sharing platters, sweet treats, fresh organic juices, teas, and coffees. In addition to the cafe offerings, the shops provide a variety of locally sourced vegan foods and household products.
Went to the cafe, sat outside in the sun and had a STUNNING vegan pastry and a lovely iced coffee. Friendly staff who got my gender right :) when I've bought groceries before here they've been helpful - it's on the pricey end because it's not mass market, but you totally get what you pay for and they do a great job.

The two stars are for the Hot Chocolate only not the store, The store is fine, but I ordered a hot chocolate for £3.49 and was expecting a rich chocolate flavor but it tasted like it was made with water and not milk? If I wanted an instant hot chocolate I could have gone elsewhere, so unfortunately will not be going back there for anything as I only drink hot chocolate.
Craig L — Google review
My husband and I discovered Better Food in March 2025 and we have just loved it! This is now where we do our supermarket shop. We love that there is plenty of choice but not so much it takes forever to do your shopping, the prices are very reasonable, the staff are very friendly, the coffee and cake are a must. The fruit and veg are not in plastic packaging. In fact most isn’t packaged at all which is fab! And those that are can be composted. And you get offers on multi-buys. The apples are a taste sensation. Full of crisp and juicy texture. I never knew that such an ordinary fruit could taste so good! (Get your hands on Spartan 🤤) You can bring your own packaging and refill some store cupboard staples. And the bread is not packed with fillers. There is so much to love here. I could go on. I can’t recommend it enough and only wish we had discovered it sooner and that there were many more of them. Everyone should have access to one.

We have shopped here for over 10 years. They have a wide range of organic produce and products. They have a really friendly, helpful, polite, and nice team, all of whom know about most of the products and produce sold here. I will always recommend Better Food to people who are looking for the best quality food, drink, and health products. Keep it up guys 💪

Very good selection of products! Wow! i always thought it will be overpriced, but I see the prices are reasonable. Some items even cheaper than Morrisons :o Very great selection of organic products. Staff is kind and helpful
Andras O — Google review
You have to hand it to them. They’ve seen the cost of living crisis, said ‘hold my organic £7.25 aubergine’ and promptly decided to go in the opposite direction of cost saving initiatives. It’s the only place that I’ve heard upper middle class folks actively whisper about potentially shoplifting - they don’t of course because it’s only a titillating prospect around a basque cheesecake on a Thursday balmy evening and a slice of that can’t be put in jeopardy being in police custody. This is the organic shop with an eye on being to St Werburghs what a channel hand bag shop is to the champs-elysees. Couldn’t recommend more the activity of doing a Dale Winton Supermarket sweep in here - take 5 random objects, move to the till and note the total price. My you’ll giggle. No inflatable goods though. Think they need a lock, key and guard for the cheese and olives. I’ve seen the Tower of London take greater security measures for far less valuable items. Love the staff especially the fella who holds a £19.50 small salad box like it’s a freshly delivered baby. Makes me well up and that’s before I’ve taken out a mortgage to pay for the aforementioned salad. Will go again plenty of times because I never learn my lesson. Yours, once comfortable; now broke.

Zerodegrees Microbrewery Restaurant Bristol is a modern and industrial-chic establishment located in a converted tram shed. It boasts three terraces offering ample outdoor seating with views of Christmas Steps and the city skyline. As Bristol's first microbrewery and restaurant, it offers crisp, clean, and flavorful craft beers alongside an award-winning selection including Pilsner, Pale Ale, Black Lager, and seasonal fruity concoctions.
We recently visited and was blown away by their Pilsner. It's a crisp, clean beer with a subtle hop bitterness that makes it incredibly refreshing. The balance is spot on, and it's a clear standout from other Pilsners I've tried. The pizza was equally impressive. The crust was perfectly cooked, with a great balance of crispness and chewiness. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the overall taste was simply delicious. While the current pizza offerings are great, but if adding more meat options, like spicy chicken, beef slices or spicy minced beef , would further enhance the menu. Offering beer flights would allow customers to sample a variety of your excellent brews, especially for those new to craft beer. Overall, is a fantastic spot for a great meal but not too many choices and a good beer.
5th G — Google review
One of the best pizza places ever — and definitely my favourite! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always such a lovely experience. The food and drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the people who work here are truly lovely — always friendly, polite, and hardworking. The pizza is super fresh and incredibly tasty, and yes, of course it takes about 15–20 minutes — because they make it fresh, just for you. Totally worth the wait every single time. Last time I visited, I saw someone being very rude to the staff because she didn’t want to wait 15 minutes for her pizza. Honestly, I felt so sorry for them. The team handled it with so much patience and kindness — even though they were not at fault at all. You really can’t please everyone, but this team does their best every time. I’ll be back every Monday for the amazing Monday deal — delicious pizza at a great price. It’s honestly a gem of a place and I hope more nice people continue to support them. Hospitality is hard work, and they deserve kindness and respect. Thank you for the great food and lovely service — keep going, you’re doing an amazing job!
Sara M — Google review
Service was really great and I wish the rest didn’t take away from that. However, although the pizzas were good, the pastas were appalling. One had no seasoning or spices at all and simple tasted like uncooked chopped tomatoes, it didn’t have one of the two meats it was supposed to have, and worst of all, towards the end, we found two little bones in it (presumably from the chicken). The drinks selection is good if you want something different, poor if you want a classic and so it doesn’t make the best place for large groups when you need to account for multiple types of people. The atmosphere was okay but it was very quiet during what we would expect to be a very busy time. Overall, if you want to try a fancy drink or fruity IPA and have some of their Nibbles & Sides, it’s probably a good place to go (minus it being quiet) but we will not be returning for a proper evening meal with a large group. Again, servers were lovely though!!

The North Street location features a beautiful contrast of black and wood, while the Whiteladies Road spot boasts oversized light fixtures against orange, black, and white decor. Both locations are modern and minimalistic with small touches of exuberance. The restaurant's ethos is 'One thing, made well,' which they deliver through their representation of true Neapolitan style food.
My favourite pizza shop at Bristol! Very cute and cozy place to eat. This was my second time having the same pizza (no7). I had a takeaway last time at the Downs and this time I had it hot which was fresh and comforting. Very nice sitting by the window and staff was nice. I won’t be surprised if I ordered this again!

I had such a great experience at Pizza Workshop! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The real star of the show, though, is the pizza. I tried Pizza No. 08, and it was absolutely outstanding. The base was perfectly thin and crisp, with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings balanced beautifully. Every bite was packed with flavor — you can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into making it. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious pizza with a relaxed vibe, Pizza Workshop is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back, and Pizza No. 08 is now my go-to!

I’m here just for the weekend and really fancied pizza, so glad I came to this spot. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were lovely, especially Abby who served me. I had the lunch deal and added a few toppings (£8 total is a STEAL) and the pizza was light, fluffy but not soggy! Perfectly cooked and although smaller, was actually the perfect size for feeling satisfied but not overfilled. I also had the margarita which was perfectly balanced, and felt very comfortable despite being a solo diner! Highly recommend

Phenomenal pizza! Plus they can do any pizza gluten free, and the GF base is excellent! They were really considerate and on the ball with coeliac disease... Wow... This place is a real gem!! Aside from the great beer selection, amazing staff and some of the best pizza I've ever had, this place is just correct in every form.. I cannot fault it, early opening times, prices aren't hiked for the quality of hand stretched dough, cooked consistently on every visit, the sides are unique, the toppings are a good variety, it's strange to find myself wanting to become a local of a pizzeria / ale House, but it just works, well done, especially to the team 🙌🏻👌🏻 thank you!! Edit ... Just a brief visit on my return to Bristol, amazing food once again and also just discovered they do my all time favourite Lillys Mango Cider.. Super welcoming manager Rod doing his upmost as always... Thanks again

My husband and I have been here a couple of times and each visit does not disappoint. Really good pizza and sides, plus a healthy selection of drinks. Vibe is great -- cozy and relaxed. But best of all, the whole staff is friendly and accommodating. They look at the customers with an open smile yet still very professional. I've been to some restaurants where the staff is robotic, can't smile, and do not even acknowledge your presence because they don't even look at you (my ultimate pet peeve). So a big kudos to the lovely staff at Beerd. Great food and drink suggestions too from them. Two thumbs up.

Cash only, but great value for money. Highly recommended!

Used to love the food here years ago but now you're lucky if it ever arrives, vegan food being ordered but being given meat instead and waiting over 2 hours for a delivery without a sorry or offer of a refund. The worst customer service, if you can't cope with the amount of orders turn deliveries off?
Jodie S — Google review
The food is excellent, but the service is appalling. The last three times I've ordered my order has been cancelled due to them not having enough drivers. This would be fine if they cancelled the order right away, but each time it was 1 to 2 hours after I had ordered, and on one occasion they had actually told me the order was on the way before cancelling! This is unacceptable. I've been a loyal customer for five years, and they can't even do me the courtesy of telling me they can't fulfil my order within a reasonable amount of time. Having to wait hours only to have my order cancelled is absolutely miserable. I value my evenings and I don't like to give money to businesses who treat me like crap, so I won't be ordering again.

This place is the go to Chinese. I’m sure nearly Everything can made vegan/veggie. I always recommend this shop best Chinese I’ve had!
Lee T — Google review
Absolutely horrible experience. Waited 2 hours for food asked where it was and they didn't know where the driver was, we asked for a refund and they refused. Driver eventually arrived and we asked where he had been, he couldn't answer, he just said "blame them" terrible service all round. Originally person on other end of the phone said they'd been getting complaints all night, and our food would be with us ASAP. We live 4 mins drive away and it took 2 and half hours to receive.

Chips were completely under cooked. Portion sizes not the worst Chinese was ok nothing special Would I buy again no

The Charcoal Grill is a popular kebab shop that offers an amazing selection of food options for visitors. There are kebabs, fried chicken and chips, wraps, pizzas and burgers on the menu, making it the perfect spot for any meal. The kids menu is also great for little ones.
First time ordering from here the best kebab I've had, I had a lamb shish the lamb was cooked to perfection it was fresh full of flavour will definitely order from here whenever we want a kebab our go to Kebab shop.

Been going here for years - wraps usually made with care, filling and tasty. Tonight got home to tiny wrap - dry falafel and chili sauce - zero salad - no houmous - disgusting and a total waste of money and time.

I ordered online and my pizza came very dry and crusty burnt. Also pizza came uncut. Chips tasted awful. Pizza was also smaller than the size 12. Everything looks not good.

A great late night takeaway! I used to think the Grecian Kebab down by the arches was the best on Gloucestershire rd, but this one is better (particularly because you actually get the sauce you ask for!) Good stuff, lovely kebab & chips, thank you! Edit: please note the photo is some way into the kebab, it was bigger!

Thanks for the meat and chips today, you know who I am from 20/2 4.30pm, will come back for a massive order when I have friends round, would recommend this place they have brilliant customer service, lovely jubbly 👌
Dan — Google review
My chips cheese and gravy was dreadful, gravy was literally like marmite consistency, clearly the server had never made it before. Very salty and expensive for what you get at £7 for a large (not so large) portion of salty sadness. Won’t be back. If you don’t finish it when you’re pissed you know it’s crap.

Absolutely brilliant genuine Turkish kebabs, with special homemade chilli sauce. Kind friendly service. Highly recommended
