We stayed there one night for our wedding anniversary and the attention to detail was outstanding. They had rose petals on the bed, a bouquet of flowers, a small cake and hand written cards. The pool is lovey and the hotel has a great history and unique decor.
Zuleika B — Google review
Our stay at Raffles was a flawless experience, easily among the best I‘ve had anywhere in the world. The hotel itself is beautiful and there is so much attention to detail. The staff are all so good at the job, especially the doorman and the staff at breakfast, as well as the guest service manager Fiona. I‘d absolutely come back here and stay longer next time!
Angela T — Google review
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Raffles Hotel Le Royal. One of our party was missing her suitcase when we arrived at KTI airport and the hotel staff kindly chased up and helped resolve the issue with the airline/airport which was extremely helpful. We thought the afternoon tea and breakfast was extremely good along with the bar snacks we had in the Elephant Bar. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Raffles Hotel Le Royal is a beautiful hotel, with an amazing location and with a staff team that are extremely charm, familiar and wonderful people. It's a property to come back every single year and never get bored. The gastronomy is absolutely delicious, the views and greenery is a pleasure of life and the rooms are home. I will be back super soon !!

What an amazing luxury experience at this Raffles Hotel. Right away you feel like you’re stepping into history and conveniently located in the heart of town. Fiona and the staff were all amazing and made our stay very comfortable! We were definitely spoiled by them. Highly recommend all who come to Phnom Penh to stay here for the luxury but especially the history that surrounds you.

Excellent stay from the day one till the last day, great location, great service and a very warm friendly welcome. Staffs are friendly and attentive, service is amazing. The room was clean and very comfortable. Very relaxing and chill at the Elephant Bar with great ambiance and atmosphere. We also love the pool area. Hope we can return someday.

We had a four nights stay in Phnom Penh. We were looking for a combination of a relaxed stay post a family wedding in Singapore and a good spot from which to explore the city. Raffles delighted us on both scores.

Resort hotel
The Plantation Urban Resort & Spa offers bright rooms with balconies and a rooftop suite, as well as a restaurant and cocktail bar featuring a distinctive red pool. While the hotel is conveniently located near the Royal Palace Park, access to the park may require a slight detour due to road closures for security reasons. The property boasts one of Phnom Penh's largest swimming pools at 20 meters, set in frangipani-filled gardens with sunbeds and shaded salas.
Plantation Urban Resort & Spa in Phnom Penh is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their professionalism and warmth. The check-in process was smooth, and we were welcomed with refreshing drinks, a nice touch after a long day of travel. The hotel’s design blends modern comforts with classic Cambodian style. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, quality linens, and a balcony that overlooked the lush garden and pool. The tropical grounds are beautifully maintained, and the main pool area is stunning — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of Western and Asian options, fresh fruit, juices, and great coffee. We also had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well-priced. The location is central, within walking distance of the Royal Palace, Riverside, and many restaurants and shops. Despite being in the middle of the city, the hotel feels quiet and secluded. What stood out most was the exceptional service from every staff member. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude made our stay feel special. We highly recommend Plantation for a relaxing and memorable stay in Phnom Penh.

Plantation Urban Resort and Spa is veritable oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Staff are incredibly pleasant, attentive, eager to help and always anticipated our needs. The pool alone is worth staying at the resort. It is a calm and peaceful retreat and provides a quiet and relaxing place to recharge after a long day of travel or sightseeing, and well located for doing just that.
Christopher S — Google review
This hotel is a calm & tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. The moment you step through the doors, you feel calm, safe and relaxed. The staff are exceptionally warm and helpful. We had a family room that was huge with a huge bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and well thought out but on the basic side, which was fine for us. It had a fridge/freezer and kitchenette area which was also great. The pool area was well maintained. We walked to most things but got a car (using the Grab App) to other areas, which was very cheap. The Russian Market area (about £1 away in a car) is great for shopping and restaurants. You get to return to this lovely place after the lovely market area, which is fab! Honestly, for the money, I can’t recommend it enough!
Lucy P — Google review
My husband & I loved this resort, & cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They made sure my food allergies were catered for (better than any other place I have ever stayed). La Pergola restaurant is a very special place to eat. Amazing food and fabulous service. Our stay was definitely a five out of five experience. A BIG thank you to everyone of the staff
Sally D — Google review
A little slice of paradise in the middle of Phnom Penh. Room was wonderful. Very comfortable and quiet. Great shower. Toilet could admittedly be a little more private, but it offered more privacy than it initially seemed. Pillows were far too soft for my liking, but that's rather subjective. Did find my neck and traps were sore in the morning though. Service was always lovely. Always felt a sense of calm and relaxation when returning to the lobby. The Koi pond is stunning and I appreciated getting to feed the Koi. Many things you want to see are in walking distance, like the Royal Palace / Silver Pagoda; National Museum, riverfront walk. There are tuk-tuks waiting right outside to bring you to anything further away and the staff will help you book one to anywhere you want to go at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever experienced. The fresh fruit was perfect. The selection of Western and Asian specialties was updated every day. They offered custom coffee orders, and the staff even memorized them after a couple days. The pool was a stand out. Very relaxing, beautifully maintained. You'd never imagine the busy streets are mere feet away. All in all, this is a great home base for your visit to Phnom Penh. All the luxury of a resort, with access to the hustle and bustle just seconds away.
Daniel G — Google review
The room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great choice for the included breakfast. Pool area was lovely with lots of nearby sunloungers and couches to relax. Dinner in the Poolside restaurant was delicious with a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend.

Can’t recommend this place enough, a real oasis in the middle of Phnom Peng. Service was fantastic, we arrived very early and they had rooms ready for us plus gave us late check-out. So accommodating, everything was fuss free. Food and drinks were really good, for the first time on our holiday we didn’t venture out for food. Spa, gym also very good, and great pool with cool cabanas.

This was an AMAZING home base for the start of our Cambodian adventure! Such clean rooms, friendly staff, beautiful decor, and an amazing location. The complimentary breakfast was the best! Definitely recommend staying here as an American seeking an authentic experience with all the comforts of home.

Pavilion Hotel is an elegant establishment with airy rooms and suites, boasting two poolside bars and dining options as well as a spa. The hotel has a historical significance, having once served as the private retreat of Sisowath Kossamak, queen consort of Cambodia. The property features expansive greenery, two large swimming pools, private plunge pools, a gym, and a spa. Guests can also explore the surrounding area using complimentary bikes provided by the hotel.
I loved this place so much. Gorgeous hotel , I had a lovely spacious room With a balcony. Filtered water on tap in rooms - which is great to reduce plastic. There are two pools , gorgeous gardens. A great restaurant and bar with good food and cocktails. Breakfast is good too. The staff are lovely and very helpful. It's in a great location and I love Phnom Penh. I will definitely be back - didn’t want to leave

The hotel offered an extraordinary touch to our holiday, surrounded by tranquil greenery. The spacious rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary comforts, making it a perfect retreat. If you’re looking to experience true serenity, this is a place worth trying. The vegetarian menu is thoughtfully curated, with delicious options. A beautiful and memorable stay overall, highly recommended for those seeking comfort and great food.
Binu K — Google review
Thank you so much Pavilion. The hotel is amazing and very lush. It's very surprising to me that this exists in the middle of the city. The staff is great and communicate English well. The unlimited ala cart buffet is delicious. The location is not far from the river. They have free water refill and some tea for you to relax in the pool. There is front and back pool. Back pool is best to take photos because it's no people and avoid you to prevent distractions to other hotel guests. I'm sorry for what I did to your plunge pool, I treated it like a bath tub... And I still thank you for your grace and understanding. And I know I need to pay the cost of my action. I wish to come again in the nearest future since we are leaving Phnom Penh for goods. Great job Pavilion!
Maggie ( — Google review
This place is a serious mosquito breeding ground. Rooms come with repellant. The restaurant has repellant on every table. I booked a private pool room with the intention of hanging out outside.. i had to douse myself in repellant. I stink, and i still have been bitten many times. There were dead mosquitos on the ground in my room when i walked in. Not a luxury experience. —- this is to the hotel: You can find the places that they breed, and eliminate them. Thats how you solve this problem. They breed in small puddles of water. You should check the areas that accumulate water and make sure they stay dry, or are poisoned so that mosquitos cannot breed. You could at least get some tiki torches or smoke. You cannot charge luxury hotel prices if we are meant to suffer mosquito bites and smell repellant all night. I am here to relax not suffer a jungle environment. Don’t advertise a spa - you have 1 masseuse. Im not going to spend 2 hours away from my loved one so we can both get massages at different times. What is that? If i had known you had 1 masseuse i would have booked somewhere with a real spa. Staff are all really kind and professional. Staff is amazing. Rooms are beautiful.
Nicholas E — Google review
What a beautiful, stylish and peaceful hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are worth every cent, the value for money is outstanding. Furthermore the location is convenient and good. The next time in Phnom Penh I will definitely stay here again!
Stephan F — Google review
A peaceful escape right in the heart of the city! Although the hotel is centrally located, it’s amazingly quiet and serene inside. The highlight is definitely the two types of swimming pools — both are well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. We stayed in the private pool villa, and while the room itself was a bit small, the private pool was surprisingly large and very enjoyable. The food here is excellent, service is top-notch, and everything is very clean. One thing to note — we did spot a lizard in the room, so if you’re afraid of them, the private villa may not be ideal. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
Mahaletchumy S — Google review
We absolutely loved it here, so much so that we booked an extra night. From the moment we walked in the front gate we knew we had made the right choice. The ambiance of the hotel is simply superb. The service provided by the staff is outstanding, they are all happy and welcoming. The one thing we noticed the staff don’t work ridiculously long hours. The rooms are comfortable, great amenities. There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. Every other guest we spoke too would say “how amazing is this place”. Highly recommend a stay here. Location is also great.
Rhonda L — Google review
Lovely hotel I like to stay in when I am in PP. Walking distance to the river and Japanese restaurant area. One needs to be aware that the buildings are nearly 100 years old and I enjoy the historic feeling. Downside is that it comes with historic challenges. I prefer to stay in the building near the sun pool, ground floor, 32. Pool is lovely. Breakfast is lovely. Service is wonderful. The beds are not the best with an awkward headend that prevents you from leaning or sitting up. I enjoy the tranquility of the area. It feels like an oasis in the city center. I have also stayed at Jungle Addition around the corner that allows children, so I prefer the slightly chiquer Pavilion because I prefer quiet hotels. I live in Cambodia and on my next trip to PP I will stay in room 32.

Riverside is a vibrant area perfect for spending a leisurely late afternoon. It's a popular gathering spot for locals engaging in group exercises, children playing with pigeons, and vendors selling an array of items from snacks to balloons. Along the river, there are small temples where visitors can observe prayer rituals and purchase lotus flowers. The riverside walkway is bustling with street food and activities, providing opportunities to relax on benches while watching the sunset or taking a break after jogging or walking.
Amazing night view, night market, local food, traveler friendly place and many moor
Didarul B — Google review
The riverside in Phnom Penh is a nice spot to experience local life. People gather along the bank to enjoy local street food, relax, and do outdoor activities. It’s lively, and you’ll see many birds being fed by visitors. There are also boat tours if you want to see the river from a different perspective. It can get quite hot on a sunny day, though, so it’s best to go in the early morning or evening. It would be even better if there were more greenery along the river, but overall, it’s a pleasant place to stroll and soak in the atmosphere.
Earn S — Google review
The Riverside is a nice area of sidewalk along the Tonle Sap River where it meets the Mekong. You can walk from the ferry port and the posh hotels, past the Royal Palace and the National auditorium, past the historically significant and beautiful Wat Ounalom and Kandal Market, down to the less compelling (in my opinion) Night Market and finally to Wat Phnom, the traditional origin point of Phnom Penh. Along the way, you will pass all kinds of hotels and international restaurants, some delicious, some not so, but all expensive. You will likely see fortune tellers, Buddhist bird sellers (you can buy and release the birds to gain merit), pleasure boat hawkers and some beggars. Walking the riverside is an experience On weekends, the road is closed down and the whole area becomes a "pedestrian paradise" complete with street food and performances. Pro Tip Generally speaking, Cambodia is a safe country and PP is a safe city but...... if you do run into any trouble, the riverside is where it is most likely to happen. Take reasonable precautions against pickpockets and avoid the riverside in the middle of the night, especially if drunk from visiting one of the neighbouring bars.

Sunset here feels Like Heaven. It was such a great vibe as it was little windy
Muhammad K — Google review
Beautiful. Very interesting. There is a lot to see on the riverside/surroundings: museum, royal palace and much more. Let yourself fall into the life on the river in the big city. But watch your bags...like everywhere else in the world
Frank N — Google review
A long walk way by the river side and full of life with street food, toys etc. When the cars and bikes are passing on the side road, you can take rest on the bench and enjoy the sunset and lives around you or may finish your daily jogging/walking.

Extended stay hotel
Hotel
Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra is an upscale hotel with contemporary accommodations and a range of amenities. The hotel boasts 5 restaurants, 4 bars, and 2 outdoor pools for guests to enjoy. One of the highlights is the renowned Sunday brunch, offering a diverse selection of global cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Driss Helali and his team. The spacious suites are equipped with modern conveniences such as flat-screen TVs, espresso machines, and MP3 docking stations.
An unforgettable hotel where you will be surrounded with care and attention. We booked a superior suite, so we were greeted with a glass of champagne in a private setting in the office. Delicious breakfasts, a magnificent view from the window, incredible pillows and bed linen, and a pleasant smell in the hotel. Also a very beautiful pool area
Ирина Г — Google review
I visited Sofitel Hotel with my family for a day of fun and relaxation. My wife arranged for a tennis pro to play with me and give some tips — it was a great workout and a real throwback since I haven’t played since my university days. The courts were in excellent shape, and the coach spoke perfect English, making the lesson both fun and challenging. Next time I’d love to try their racquetball courts. Meanwhile, our two sons had a blast in the kids’ playroom, the playground, and of course in the pool with their floaties. The highlight was definitely the waterslide — we must have gone down a dozen times together! We stayed for lunch by the pool with cocktails. The food was very good (the French fries were a hit with the kids), and the drinks were smooth, though a little light on the alcohol for the price. Overall, Sofitel’s pool, family facilities, and sports areas are a fantastic way to spend the day. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, fun, and fitness.

Possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. While the Sofitel Phnom Penh is a beautiful classic building what makes a stay there so special are the fantastic staff. We have just spent 5 beautiful days at the hotel and were warmly greeted by Keo for check in and then provided with warm service in the club lounge by Phano , Nita and Piseth. Routinely while walking around the hotel staff would greet us and thank us for staying. Service is fast and efficient and staff take the time to make you feel welcome and have a short chat. Even the singer in the lobby bar made a point of coming over and chatting to us. The hotel is kept beautifully clean and the art work and historical photos add to the atmosphere. Housekeeping was fantastic and added extra touches like rolling up our electronic leads. You come back into the room and just go Wow. The bed is super comfortable with high quality sheets and fluffy pillows. We had a deluxe room with a sitting area and balcony. It was just the best.

We had such an amazing stay at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. It really feels like a little oasis right in the middle of the city. From our balcony, we had a beautiful view over the pool, and over the city and the river too. We loved spending time in the sauna and steam room, and the in-room dining was honestly fantastic. Breakfast at La Coupole was incredible — one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had. We also tried pizza at the Italian restaurant, which was super delicious. What really made our stay stand out was the attention to small details. For example, the staff noticed we had lots of charging cables for our laptop and camera gear and neatly tied them up, and they even left a bookmark in a book on our desk so we could pick up exactly where we left off. These little touches made us feel so cared for and comfortable. Definitely one of the best stays we had in Cambodia. 🌴🙏🏼

From someone with a long background in the hospitality industry, my expectations for Sofitel Phnom Penh were naturally high-and the team exceeded every one of them. From the moment I stepped through the glass doors, the warmth, professionalism, and generosity of the staff made my stay exceptional. I'd like to recognize Ms. Rida at the Front Desk for a wonderful check-in, Mr. Vuthan (concierge) for his expert guidance, and the Food & Beverage team including the Assistant F&B Manager for their attentive service. Thank you to everyone-from Front of House to the Heart of the House-for delivering a truly memorable Sofitel experience. -MW

Patio Hotel and Urban Resort is a stylish accommodation option with vibrant rooms, a restaurant, cafe/bar, and a rooftop outdoor pool. It offers spacious contemporary suites with private patios, dining areas, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also features an in-house restaurant and bar, as well as en suite bathrooms with shower facilities and complimentary toiletries. For those seeking a balance of functionality and charm at a reasonable price point, Patio Hotel is worth considering.
5 stars I stayed at Patio Hotel and Urban Resort during my recent backpacking trip, and it was such a pleasant and cozy experience. The hotel is right in the center of Phnom Penh, which makes it super convenient to get around. There are plenty of local eateries and cafes nearby, offering a variety of food options. The room was beautiful and clean, with a light scent—like lemongrass—that made it feel very relaxing the moment I walked in. I really appreciated the design: simple, thoughtful, and calming. The staff were friendly, easygoing, and always willing to help without being overly formal or distant. As a budget traveler, I value freedom and comfort—and this place offered both. The price was very reasonable, especially considering that breakfast was included. The breakfast was full and tasty, not something basic or rushed. If I come back to Phnom Penh, I’ll definitely stay here again. A reliable and charming spot right in the heart of the city.

This is really little hidden gem in the centre of Phnom Penh. Surrounded by unique little bars and restaurants. The rooms are really modern clean and comfortable. The pool is a little bit small but it’s on the roof. The drinks and the food are great. I’ll give this place 10 or 10 is definitely one of my top five for short days in PP.

This is a great spot to explore Phnom Penh from. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! Which was great for me as, I often get the 'Delhi belly' when visiting Cambodia. I could safely eat Cambodian cuisine without a worry. Great view from the rooftop restaurant too. We loved our stay and would recommend this as a great place to stay. Big thanks to the staff for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyablle.

Lovely little hotel. Quiet clean nice roof top pool and a great breakfast. Great location near monument circle and the staff are delightful. Lots of boutique restaurants near. I stay there whenever I am in Phnom Penh, which is often.

I stayed here only 1 night, but I wish I had longer. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. I didn't really know what to expect in Phnom Penh, but I think I lucked out with this place. It was walking distance to the Genocide museum, and also to Bassac lane, that has all the bars and eateries. It is also located in what seems to be a Japanese neighbourhood, and the hotel itself is Japanese influence. The staff were so lovely and helpful. And the rooftop bar was spectacular!

The Russian Market, also known as Tuol Tom Poung Market, is a bustling and vibrant marketplace in Phnom Penh. It offers a wide variety of goods including souvenirs, clothing, and food. Adjacent to the market are trendy coffee shops, restaurants, and boutique shops that make it a popular spot for exploration. Visitors can spend hours browsing through knick-knacks, enjoying the food court and wet market, or even finding second-hand motorbike parts.
Many stalls sell souvenir and you can bargain with the buyer. I got 3 T-shirt with price 2,5 USD / piece. Also bought several key chains and traditional purses. You can buy many varieties of souvenirs here. On the other side of the market you can also find several food stall and other household / daily groceries

If you’re after a nice broth, authentic Cambodian noodle soup (kuyteav), this is the place to go. I honestly think it’s the best kuyteav in Phnom Penh. My usual order is glass noodles or thick rice noodles with beef, beef meatballs, and braised pork organs, always hits the spot.
Janez Y — Google review
Honestly a very nice market. It is smaller in scale compared to central market. But the stalls here have everything. Mainly souvenirs stuffs. Managed to get some nice paintings also as well. Can spend at least 1 to 1.5hrs here.
SL W — Google review
The market is huge, a lot of items available here but it was quite messy. You can get lost if you come here for shopping. So make sure to be alert on the exit and shop. The market is a bit hot and have a bad ventilation system. It might be uncomfortable for some people to shop here plus the hygiene of this place can be improved. We didn't shop much here, only just looking through some of the items.
Hafizun M — Google review
Its totally worth the ride, works untill 17hrs, entrance 10, the two stands at the first crossing were a hit, one sells the sneakers, sandals and shoes, across there is a stand that sells branded cloths, jeans, vests etc. I wear Hoka sneakers but the one I bought for unbellivable price here, I cant see the difference. Nike, Puma, New Balance, not my thing but my friends bought and say the same, feels good, looks good, totaly worth it. We run at the airports on the same models but the price was different sky high. I wore my pair in Angkor Wat tour, heavy hiking, its winter at my place so I store them until spring. I honestly regret for not buying more for the entire family. This market (Russian) is by far the most important thing I recommend in Phnom Penh, was sceptic at first and repulsed by the smell, but if I ever come back, I will bring a larger suitcase. Happy shopping!
Mico K — Google review
can get very warm if you go during lunch time so wear light clothing and bring a fan with you. many interesting things to see and buy

This market is great, it has lots of things! You can buy souvenirs and decent local food here, for okay prices (you can bargain if you find it expensive).

Rosewood Phnom Penh is a luxurious hotel situated in a prominent tower, offering sophisticated dining options, a refined spa, and an indoor pool. The hotel provides exclusive perks such as complimentary selected beverages during specific hours, daily pressing services, and late check-out. With 175 rooms and suites, four restaurants, a lounge, and the stylish Sora skybar on-site, guests can enjoy convenient access to Vattanac Capital Mall and nearby attractions like Wat Phnom and Riverfront Park.
What a wonderful hotel. Service, decor and facilities of the highest standard. We only stayed one night but we'll definitely be back. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. We had a taxi from the airport but had no local currency. The bell hop manager paid the taxi on our behalf and simply charged it to the room. Excellent. That's a first for us. When I went to the concierge ("Charlie") for a complicated request, he was totally on it, understood everything (impeccable English) but - get this - without any reference to a computer, already knew our room number AND my name. That's unimaginable. We've never been to the hotel before. We'd only arrived three hours earlier. Evening drinks at the open rooftop bar was a joy, brilliantly accompanied by a fantastic guitarist called "Camden". I'd have paid to hear him perform. At the steak and seafood restaurant, the food and service were perfect. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff everywhere were 110%. Special mention must go to Charlie, Sky, and Rocky at the Concierge/ground floor, plus the amazing Camden. This must be a jewel in the Rosewood crown.

Isn’t truly a fabulous property. The views are stunning. The amenities are over the top. The rooms are extremely thoughtful and very comfortable. True luxury. You could find something this nice only at the top destinations of the world. It’s a tad out of place in this town, however, I’m going to luxuriate and enjoy the food and view. Blown away.

Love this hotel! We stayed her on our first night in Cambodia and what a great experience form the check in process taking place inside the guest room, to the cleanliness, everything is brand new and shiny and it’s attached to a mall. If Paradise Has Turndown Service, It Probably Looks Like the Rosewood Phnom Penh I’ve stayed in many hotels, but none quite like the Rosewood Phnom Penh — a place so elegant that even my reflection in the lobby mirror straightened its tie and started behaving better. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me like royalty — and I assure you, that’s quite a feat, as my lineage includes more tax invoices than crowns. The rooms are beautifully appointed, so much so that I briefly considered listing the bathroom on the property market. The view from the top floors is so magnificent that for a moment I thought I’d ascended to heaven — though I quickly realised heaven doesn’t charge a minibar deposit. The service? Exceptional. Even my dry cleaning was handled with more speed and precision than my own life choices. Though it was supposed to be ready overnight (and I admit, the delay was entirely my fault — tardiness, thy name is me), the staff miraculously returned it within three hours on the same day. If efficiency were an Olympic sport, the Rosewood would take gold, silver, and politely decline bronze for lack of closet space. A special bow (and I rarely bow unless it’s to applause) to Alice at Retail, whose charm could sell me anything short of a second suitcase to carry it all, and to Manon, the Director of Communications, whose gracious hospitality made me feel less like a guest and more like a beloved eccentric uncle. Beautiful hotel, beautiful city, beautiful people — and if I don’t return soon, it’s only because I’m afraid I’ll move in permanently and they’ll start charging me property tax.
Andy N — Google review
This place is very expensive, but is top notch. I stayed here through the AMEX Platinum FHR. The service is stupendous. I forgot the girl who was from my hometown city, Siem Reap and the man who gave me Kampot pepper as a little souvenir as well. I think I was upgraded to one of the rooms that has a very nice view of the river and the market from the 32nd floor. The room is spacious, clean and luxurious. I actually stayed here since last year. I have been traveling and staying in many places, but never written reviews until now, so thought to leave my feedback here. There are definitely many options for your stays, but if you want to be a little extravagant and enjoy the view, Sora Bar with live music, and just the experience at one of the tallest hotels in Cambodia, definitely check out Rosewood Phnom Penh. I have not yet found a place that exceeded the service level as in this hotel. I might stay here again next time I am in Phnom Penh

Misleading Policies, Useless Compensation and Silence – Unacceptable for 5★ We signed a fitness & spa membership at Rosewood Phnom Penh, being told children up to 5 years old are free. The next day, suddenly my 5-year-old was charged $20 “like an adult.” On WhatsApp, staff then said even 3-year-olds must pay $20. Three completely different versions of the kids & family policy in 24 hours — and nothing written anywhere on their website or membership agreement. Rosewood later admitted their mistake and promised a refund. Their so-called “compensation” was two day passes for my wife — useless, since she is not planning to come (no sauna in female facilities, freezing cold pool). I was not asking for anything excessive – just to swap useless day passes for a simple spa gift for my mother’s birthday. The fact that Rosewood Phnom Penh could not even reply within 24 hours speaks louder than any words. So forget it, we are choosing a different hotel & spa for my mum’s birthday. For a property with sky-high prices, where guests are paying more for the brand name than anything else, you expect that brand to actually be there and act when something like this happens. Instead, Rosewood Phnom Penh turned out to be a joke in Cambodia. If you expect transparent policies, reliable customer service, or genuine 5-star hospitality, avoid.

A Flawless Business Stay at Rosewood Phnom Penh Phnom Penh, Cambodia – For the discerning business traveler, the Rosewood Phnom Penh offers an unparalleled experience of luxury and intuitive service, transforming a routine work trip into a truly remarkable stay. Perched atop the iconic Vattanac Capital Tower, this hotel anticipates every need with a level of professionalism that is both impressive and deeply appreciated. From the moment of arrival, the staff's dedication to guest comfort is evident. In a display of exceptional attentiveness, the housekeeping team operates with a seamless, almost invisible efficiency. Rather than adhering to a rigid schedule, they possess an uncanny ability to know when guests are out, choosing these precise moments to refresh the room. Returning to a space where the tea and coffee have been thoughtfully replenished and towels perfectly rearranged is a small but significant luxury that sets the Rosewood apart. The hotel's amenities are world-class, clearly designed with a sophisticated clientele in mind. The fitness center is a testament to this, boasting an extensive array of modern, high-end equipment that would satisfy any fitness enthusiast. It is a far cry from the token gyms found in many hotels, offering a truly comprehensive workout experience. Dining at the Rosewood is an equally refined affair. The breakfast service eschews the typical buffet line in favor of an elegant à la carte menu. This thoughtful approach not only elevates the morning meal but also ensures each dish is prepared to perfection. The culinary team's flexibility is also noteworthy; the chef was more than happy to accommodate a personal request, preparing a custom sauce to my exact specifications. Beyond the luxurious comforts, the hotel's support for business travelers is exemplary. During a recent one-night stay for work, the front desk staff went above and beyond to assist with a specific invoicing request, patiently and efficiently amending the document to meet the strict requirements of my home country's regulations. This level of personalized and accommodating service is invaluable for anyone traveling on business. In a city with a growing number of luxury options, the Rosewood Phnom Penh distinguishes itself through a profound understanding of its guests' needs, delivering a flawless and truly memorable stay.

Baitong Hotel & Resort Phnom Penh is a sophisticated urban oasis located in the trendy BKK 1 neighborhood of Phnom Penh. The hotel features two outdoor pools, including a romantic pool hidden behind a waterfall and a family deck pool on the fourth floor. The sleek design of the hotel is complemented by lush greenery, creating a concrete jungle playground vibe.
Breakfast was really good with a buffet or you could ask the chef to make sandwiches on the spot, nice pool to enjoy in the evening with just me and another resident. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and sound proofed. Not far from the palace and other attractions and there was a great pizza nearby. Overall all aspects are very good, the first time to Phnom Penh can stay in such a good hotel is very pleasantly surprised, have the opportunity to come back.

A beautiful oasis in the city. The pool areas are gorgeous, and you can pick between shade or sun. Lovely views from the rooftop bar. Easy to grab a coffee downstairs. Bed was very comfy. Great pressure in the shower. The toiletries were nicely scented too. It was nice having a robe available. Lots of choice as per type of room to suit all preferences.

Wonderful! Me and my family are thrilled with the hotel and service. I was with my child and the room was very clean, quiet and a great atmosphere. The food was divinely delicious. Especially cream soup, since I wear braces at the moment, I only eat a certain food and I am very happy that there was a choice for me on the menu. The restaurant on the 6th floor was super beautiful. And the fact that there is so much greenery in the hotel, it's so beautiful and soothing. My family and I were very satisfied and we would be very pleased to recommend your hotel to our friends! Thank you

Baitong Hotel & Resort in Phnom Penh is a stylish, modern stay that blends comfort with a touch of luxury. The atmosphere is serene, with chic interiors and a relaxing vibe that makes it a great city escape. One of the highlights is their seafood dinner, which was beautifully prepared and felt like a real treat — fresh, flavorful, and presented with care. It’s the kind of dining experience that adds a special touch to your stay and makes the hotel stand out even more.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I was there for a conference and there were many of us staying there. They provided a great stay for us. I received a coupon for a free massage when I checked in. The hotel was beautiful. The only thing that was not excellent was the shortage of seating at breakfast. When the hotel is full, there isnt enough space for everyone. I had to sit outside in the bar area, which wouldn't have been to bad expect for that's where all the smokers were. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Sarah S — Google review
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. The room was noisy and poor quality. Although I requested a room change, the TV and internet weren't working, and the bathroom was leaking. Repairs took an hour, and the service was a constant source of frustration. The hotel team's responsiveness was also poor. Neither the housekeeping department nor the manager were attentive to guest needs. I requested compensation, and they gave me a 15 yuan voucher, claiming it could be used for room service. Upon check-out, I was told the voucher was invalid. My experience that day was filled with harassment, argument, and controversy. They later offered only a 15-minute massage as compensation, and they limited the time, leaving me with no time to spare and no understanding to arrange alternatives. This hotel demonstrates a profound lack of sincerity, adaptability, and poor staff training.
Wu H — Google review
As long-time residents of Siem Reap and frequent travelers to Phnom Penh, we’ve stayed at Baitong many times. However, I think we’ve reached the end of our interest in this hotel, as the entire operation seems to be in a steady downhill trend. I’ll only mention the two most prominent complaints: lack of hot water in our bathroom and unusable internet. We alerted staff to both issues, but neither issue was fixed and no room change or solution was offered. Upon checkout, I would’ve commented on our experience, but we weren’t asked about our stay. Just a simple “have a good day” after settling our room charges. Ps - the massage “therapist” falling asleep during my wife’s massage was another humorous low-point, but that’s a story for another day…

We were upgraded on arrival and everyone was so welcoming. The fresh passion fruit juice on arrival is also super tasty. Our room was comfortable and spacious with views overlooking the city. There was a plate of fresh fruit in our room on check in as well. We booked a massage that was a high value for the price and available at the time we inquired for one. We ate the traditional Cambodian breakfast everyday and it was delicious. It was also super easy to get around the city and Tuk tuks were widely available.

We only stayed for two nights while on our way to Siem Reap and it was a great choice. Spacious room, nice bathroom, swimming pool to cool down after a day in the scorching sun and amazing spa. All in all a great place to stay, especially if you have a busy schedule and want to relax.

My fiancee and I enjoyed our second stay at White Mansion, having previously visited in January 2023. We love the huge rooms, the delicious breakfast, especially the fresh baguette and jam, the friendly staff who make you feel like you are at home and the quiet, relaxing and cooling pool. The hotel is closeby to the BKK 1 area with its restaurants, shopping and spas, and a easy tuk tuk ride anywhere in the city.

I'll keep it as morally fair as possible. Nice going. Look, I don't even care if there's one problem with this place, so long as it's not a huge flaw in the systems or in the background or whatever, it'll still be great, or even better depending on who you are. Plus, it has the normal stuff for a "4 star hotel", like a bathroom or a swimming pool, that's an extra if I seen one. I do want to see them concreting the swimming pool for humor whenever the consumers go to sleep at night, and in the morning, they'll wake up and see the once swimming pool turnt into a slab of concrete. Also I want to ride the vehicles. Anywho, in conclusion, please I want to ride the stuff for free and I'll rate it 7 stars.

The best place to stay in Phnom Penh for two simple reasons: 1. The location is perfect, halfway between the Russian Market, S21 and the riverside — a super strategic spot in the BKK1 area, known for its welcoming and international character. 2. The charming property itself, with a beautiful pool, extremely kind and impeccable staff, and some of the best breakfasts in the city. There are many other good reasons too: spacious and tastefully furnished rooms (ours even had an outdoor area with a private bathtub!), excellent dining service, and more… but I think I’ve said enough

One of the best sanctuary resort in Phnom Penh with the greenery inside and lovely saltwater swimming pool. Room is unique and cozy. All staff are super friendly and welcoming you to stay here like home. Lovely breakfast from their kitchen. Boring signal of wifi at sometimes. No elevator (lift) at this place but seems their staff are willing to help you with your luggages. Just open your mind and relax at every moment in this calm place. Don’t forget to try their Mojito ;)

Nestled along the serene banks of the Mekong River, The Balé Phnom Penh by LifestyleRetreats is a chic boutique hotel that offers an intimate escape from the bustling city. With just 18 elegantly designed suites, this upscale retreat boasts a tranquil atmosphere enhanced by lush gardens featuring aromatic frangipani trees and calming water features. Guests can indulge in delectable international cuisine at the riverside restaurant or unwind by the stunning infinity pool that overlooks the river.
From the moment we arrived, The Bale offered a rare sense of privacy and calm that’s increasingly hard to find. The 25-meter pool overlooking the river is simply stunning — the perfect place to relax at any time of day. The atmosphere is intimate, elegant and discreet. Rooms are massive, minimalistic yet warm, with every comfort you could want. A special thank you to Sylvaine, the French manager, whose presence makes a real difference. She clearly runs a tight ship: the staff is attentive, gracious and genuinely caring. This is the kind of place where you feel truly looked after, without fuss. We’ll definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Bale Phnom Penh in the River Front Suite, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The suite itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view of the river — made even more special with a private jacuzzi to relax in. The atmosphere throughout the property was calm and inviting, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wonderful variety to choose from, and the service was excellent. The restaurant staff were exceptionally polite, attentive, and made every meal feel special. Overall, everything about my stay was perfect from the room to the service. I highly recommend

We had a lovely one-night staycation to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The team went out of their way to make sure everything was thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. The room was beautifully equipped, incredibly cozy, and made it hard to leave – we found ourselves wanting to just relax and soak it all in. The staff were exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and always ready to help. Though our stay was short, it was truly memorable. We only wish we had more time. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway – even just once is worth it.

We are staying at The Bale , for our 30 th Wedding anniversary, and it is an oasis of beauty and calm . The staff are so kind, efficient and discreet. They presented us with a beautiful celebration cake. I love this hotel, everything is so consider. The food is delicious, the breakfast has so much choice , I chose a local breakfast dish, it was great. Highly recommend if you want to be out of the frantic city

My annual riverside escape in CAMBODIA since 2018👌🏽 I’ve been returning to The Bale Phnom Penh every year since 2018, and it remains my favorite place to disconnect. The hotel offers a rare balance of peace, space and thoughtful design — with its stunning 25-meter pool along the river, massive, serene and huge rooms, and a quiet atmosphere that feels far from the chaos of the city, yet within reach when needed. The food is excellent and priced fairly, the service is discreet and warm, and above all, there’s a loyal, seasoned team — some staff have been here since my very first stay (reception, executive chef, etc.) . That says everything about the management, led with professionalism and care by Sylvaine. To truly appreciate this place, you need to stay more than one night — ideally a few. Whether you’re looking to fully unplug or use it as a base to explore Phnom Penh, give yourself the time to let the calm settle in. You won’t regret it.

The Bale Phnom Penh is an oasis of peace. Set right on the riverbank, it’s ideal if you want to disconnect, recharge, and be surrounded by thoughtful design. Our room was incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and came with everything we needed — from quality linens to quiet air-con and a generous bathroom. The check-in experience was smooth and welcoming, setting the tone for a flawless stay. The food is excellent: breakfast is refined and beautifully presented, and dinner was both delicious and reasonably priced — a rare combination in a luxury hotel. It’s the kind of place where time slows down. Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers looking for a serene retreat.

Most of the beautiful place in Phnom Penh 😍 The Balé Phnom Penh by LifestyleRetreats Your private slice of serenity ☺️👌✨ And guess what? You don’t even need to book a room to enjoy it. Just drop by for a chill day by the pool — they often host pool parties and other cool events (check their Insta for updates). Or simply come for a 🍽️ cozy dinner. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Theato, serves refined Khmer, modern Asian, and international cuisine. The hotel is tucked away along the riverside, about 30 minutes from downtown Phnom Penh. Every time we’ve been, it’s always the same vibe — birds singing, trees rustling, and pure silence. A rare luxury when you live in the city. Nestled in the heart of Phnom Penh, the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh offers a luxurious stay with its polished quarters and modern amenities. This five-star hotel provides easy access to attractions like the Royal Palace and National Museum. The grand entrance, restored from a French colonial villa, showcases intricate details that reflect its rich history. Guests can indulge in the rooftop restaurant, three elegant bars, and a lavish spa for a truly upscale experience.
This hotel is really nice. Rooms are very quiet and peaceful in comparison with many other hotels. It made such a difference being able to relax without hearing noise from hallways or nearby rooms. The staff were also super friendly. I checked in on my birthday and to my surprise they've prepared a cake for me. I wasn’t expecting anything, so it was a nice gesture.
Andreas P — Google review
Centrally located, this hotel is a mix of old and new. Your are greeted at this old turn of the century colonial home that links you to a brand new modern tower behind it. Architecturally it’s week thought out and it meets that expectation being a Hyatt hotel. The lobby is spacious and there’s a big covered atrium that acts as All Day Dining. The rooms are well appointed comfortable and easily has enough space for two adults. Everything you would expect is here and service is top notch. Price wise, its is reasonable for what you get. Definitely recommended!

The hotel itself is beautiful. They did an excellent job of restoring and renovating the In the old french style. The dining room is beautiful and the breakfast and lunch buffet are marvelous - everything you could imagine. The staff were wonderful and accomidated everything! My first room smelled very heavily of mildew - so much so that it was difficult to sleep. I understand it's hard to maintain in such a humid environment. The staff were very helpful though and immediately moved me to a new room. Also the rooftop is a must!

Amazing Hotel at amazing location. Best services at all the hotel facilities. Very warm hospitality by all of the great hotel staff team. Very nice executive lounge offering delicious food and drinks at the evening time. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of food selections. Spa and Gym are very good and must try the spa treatments, very refreshing. Nice swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers. Sky restaurant is highly recommended at level 14. Execution Suite 1209 is very spacious with amazing view of the Royal Palace. Spotless clean and the house keeping doing super nice job. Laundry service is really good and on time. Reception staff are very helpful making the check in and check out very fast and easy. Highly recommended. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service.

Rooms are dated and the prices are absurdly high for Cambodia. Management is unhelpful. I don’t know where the positive reviews are coming from. We had such a bad experience. The pool area is dark and unclean. Streets are noisy. The spa area is ok, but some areas are not open. Their lounge is hard to find and not in good shape. Staff are arrogant and dismissive of concerns. There are maintenance issues with cracked walls and lighting problems. I would not stay here, unless it improves and management changes.

Everything was excellent. The staff at the front desk were very accomodative. The market cafe was very conducive to do work, and u can request for latte after latte during breakfast. The room was comfortable. The view was amazing. It was very good experience. Special thanks go to Monysa, the manager at the market cafe. She took the time to greet, smile and even have small talk with customers. I like her sharing of some of the stories behind historical sites there. Overall, this was one of the best hotels. This hidden gem beneath the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh boasts a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere with a fantastic live band playing smooth jazz tunes that perfectly complement the evening. The cocktails are top-notch—try the Mekong Mule or signature Phnom Penh blends, expertly mixed and bursting with flavor. At $15-20 per drink, it's a steal for such quality vibes. Perfect for unwinding! (5/5 stars)

We were incredibly well welcomed last night at Duong Chang Hotel in Phnom Penh. The staff was exceptionally attentive, polite, and genuinely kind from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautifully decorated with our names and flower petals on the bed, such a thoughtful and heartwarming surprise. The hotel offers everything you could wish for: a well-equipped gym, sauna, hammam, swimming pool, and a truly delicious breakfast buffet. There’s even a sky bar with an unbeatable view over the city, the perfect spot to relax in the evening. The location is top-notch, right in the best neighborhood of Phnom Penh, with everything you need just around the corner: cafes, restaurants, shops, you name it. I travel overseas once a month, pretty much all over the world, and this is the best place I have stayed at. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has a welcoming fragrance about it. The staff are courteous and kind. The Chantrea restaurant has delicious food. We were a team of 21 people every single person felt welcomed and attended to. The staff are so attentive even to the most minute details. The hotel is also centrally located , and it's easy to get to the main sightseeing places. If you're looking for a place to stay, look no further.

I also want to mention the older door gentleman who wears black outside, he also helps us and kindly opens the door and is also really friendly and attentive,I think the reviews speak for themselves I can't fault this place and the experience we have had so far... thank you duong chan 💖

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Whilst living in Phnom Penh for 5 years we have had family and friends staying her since it opened in 2022. Since leaving Phnom Penh it is the one hotel that we return to each time we visit and it never disappoints! The hotel is spotless, all staff are so welcoming, kind and considerate of your needs. You are always welcomed with a smile. The breakfast selection is wonderful and so fresh. The pool area is just the right size, especially for kids. The gym is immaculate and has a great selection of machines as well as weights. Anyone looking to keep a regular fitness schedule whilst here won’t be disappointed. The steam and sauna rooms are also great and clean! I have not had the opportunity to use the spa services yet but I have no doubt that they would be amazing. The location is right in town with some small supermarkets close by to grab anything you might need. There are several restaurants in the areas as well as bars, and a huge sports bar right up the road for anyone want to watch sports. Overall, I always have such a positive experience staying here and I will continue to go back.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly and always had a smile on their face. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality. I definitely will choose Duong Chan Hotel when I visit Cambodia in the future!

Saravoan Royal Palace Hotel, situated in the heart of Phnom Penh's Daun Penh district, offers comfortable rooms with some featuring balconies. The hotel provides a laid-back atmosphere and a courtyard where guests can enjoy breakfast. Additionally, the hotel is known for its picturesque outdoor restaurant overlooking the Mekong River and lush greenery surrounding the Royal Palace.
Very quiet clean hotel, great value. Staff are very kind and helpful. Internet didnt work for 3 days but this due to Cambodian public works cutting all the cables in the city south to north. Highly recommended after this finished in 1-2 weeks. Maybe the deluxe room needs a bigger TV as the room is huge

Wonderful little place in the middle of the action. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and nice. They even had a little “Safety Tips” note for guests to ensure everyone stayed safe. The options they offered for breakfast were great. There are a lot of other food options within walking distance too. Our room was in the back, quiet and comfortable. The hotel itself is set back from the street so it gives the sense of being in a private courtyard. We definitely recommend staying here if they have availability.
Grace R — Google review
I would give you 10 stars if I could. This place was awesomeeeeee. We tried a few different hotels before Saravoan and Saravoan was the best choice. Room was large and worth the price. More than that, the location was super convenient, the staffs🥰were so nice and caring. I got sick one night and they even gave me some pain killers. Literally everything we needed was provided: BIG fridge (not those tiny ones), strong air-con, balcony/back yard, bathtub, microwave, laundry, ice tray to make ice, the staff helped to put credit on my sim card so I can have data. We ended up staying for 5 nights in total, whatever you need, simply ask the staff. This is the place you should stay if you come to Phnom Penh on a budget and want to avoid low quality hotels. YES YES YES 100% YESSSSS.
Quỳnh H — Google review
Nice Boutique Hotel but a little bit expensive. Decent Breakfast but with only 1 coffee served.Big rooms clean and good aircon. It's hard to find at first and located a little off-side of the action but walkable or take a TukTuk.
Marcus B — Google review
This is a very pleasant small hotel hidden down an alleyway. It has a small restaurant for breakfasts, which are delicious, and a reception desk with info about trips you can go on. Our room was very pleasant with a bath and shower with toilet. There is tea and coffee plus bottled water for you. There are also crisps, soft drinks and beer in your room to buy. The hotel is near to the river, Cambodian museum and the Royal Palace. I can recommend this hotel.
Thomas G — Google review
If compared to Okay Boutique Hotel next door, we rather not stay here. This is more like a guesthouse with no lift in an alley. The streets are very dark. Very dodgy. We stayed on the 3 floor. Luckily a staff carried out luggage up. The aircon was working but it was not strong enough to cool the room. We were sweating the whole night, so we had to push the bed nearer the aircon. Somemore, the aircon air flow goes into the bathroom since there is no door but a curtain. In order to boil water, we have to put the kettle on the floor beside the fridge since there is no plugs in the wall above the table. The worse concerns are safety aspects in the bathroom. The bathtub isn't flat, it is difficult to bathe with 2 feet standing slanted. It is difficult to adjust hot and cold water with the ancient taps. It is either scalding hot or cold. The stool next to bath tub is shaky. One has to cross over wide to stand on the stool with your wet feet, which can easily slip and fall. There is a deep drain in the middle of toilet which is a fall hazard too. I am sure they have not thought through thoroughly about the design for the toilet. The washing basin tap also has no hot water although the sign indicated turn tap for hot water for 3 to 5 mins. There are cockroaches and ants in room. Noticed the wide gap between the front door. The tv channels are also blurry. There are discrepancies with the rooms item list. 1 bathrope and 1 peanut are missing. There is no or little communication among the staff. Housekeeping says they only take care of cleaning. Maintenance does not check at all. Eventually, the guests are the ones checking the defects. The only good things to mention is having a good strong hairdryer and many hangers. Wifi is strong. If possible, we wouldn't stay another night. Unfortunately, we already booked 3 nights.
Lee K — Google review
This isn't the worse or the best place we have ever stayed. We arrived pretty late in the evening (10pm ish) and there wasn't anybody around. There was no lift and staff weren't very welcoming. They weren't rude just not very accommodating. The room was OK. The shower was awful though, freezing cold water or boiling hot water, no in between. Breakfast was also OK but not a lot of choice. The hotel were good at communicating via WhatsApp and helped us with a tuk tuk issue (don't get in a tuk tuk from outside the hotel). Overall, we weren't disappointed but we probably wouldn't stay here again.

We booked through Agoda, but the wonderful staff said there was no booking, allthough I showed my Agoda confirmation and payment. They said they do not work with Agoda and I get back my money in 32 days! How do you know this if you do not work with Agoda. Got help fromAgoda, but my emails to the hotel remain unanwerred. The hotel features sophisticated rooms designed like self-contained apartments, complete with kitchenettes, air conditioning, and cozy seating areas—perfect for families or those planning longer stays.
Stayed here on a recent trip to Cambodia. I absolutely could not be more satisfied with my experience. I stayed in the loft river view room and it was spacious, great bed, lots of TV channels, great shower, huge balcony, well stocked fridge and bar with snacks. I wanted to stay here again when I returned to Phnom Penh, but the hotel was full. A special shout out to Krann, who helped me get my phone back from a grab taxi at 2am one night. He was super helpful and made several calls for me and stayed up to help until the phone was returned. A true display of Cambodian hospitality! 10/10 highly recommended and will return one day!

I recently stayed at a hotel that boasts an excellent location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff here truly stands out with their friendliness and willingness to help – they really made me feel welcome! However, I did encounter a few minor issues. While the rooms had a charming apartment-like feel, they seemed a bit outdated. I faced some problems with the sink, as there was hardly any water pressure, and I was surprised to find a cockroach in the bathroom. One thing to note is that there isn’t an onsite restaurant for room service, which would have been a nice addition. Overall, the highlight of my stay was definitely the incredible staff and the unbeatable location!

We enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights in April. The room and bathroom and large and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was excellent. A kettle, tea and coffee were provided. We were able to walk from here to the Palace, museum and night market.

My name is Kevin and I loved every minute of my stay at TAO RIVERSIDE RESIDENCE. The staff was very nice and professional at all times. Everytime we left the room and came back I felt like I was entering a new room. The cleaning staff always did an immaculate job. Every request was fulfilled with a smile. The only downside to the experience was that I didn't have my own iron and board in the room and had to keep hoping another guest wasn't using it. We were in the penthouse suite and I thought that should have been included. Overall, my stay at TAO was incredible! We loved the room. The balcony view over the river was very nice.and the location was perfect to get to anything.. Thanks for the fond memories Kevin

The Royal Palace, a stunning palace complex established between 1866 and 1870, is an essential stop for anyone visiting Cambodia. Nestled along the banks of the Chaktomuk River, this architectural gem showcases exquisite Khmer design with subtle French influences. As you wander through its expansive grounds, you'll encounter significant structures like the vibrant Throne Hall and the enchanting Moonlight Pavilion, where traditional Khmer dance performances captivate visitors.
Quite spectacular. Awesome palace complex. Each building tells of architectural beauty aesthetic finish. The entire place remains in memory as if etched in stone. The only sad fact was that we could not get inside the palace. Another disappointment was the lack of permission to take photos inside the Silver Pagoda.

Spectacular! A palatial and grand a you'd expect a palace to be! Grounds are gorgeous. Not allowed in some rooms, nor to take photos, and areas under renovation also not allowed in. Silver pagoda had the floors covered up so the full silver effect was not available on my visit.

Absolutely Breathtaking! A Royal Experience! 👑✨🇰🇭 This place is simply magnificent. A total feast for the eyes and a must-see if you are in town! 🤩 📝 A few important notes for my fellow travelers: 💡 Pro Tip on Prices: Heads up! 💸 Sometimes the prices quoted to tourists can be a bit... "optimistic" (aka high). I highly recommend visiting with a local friend or a guide. It makes things much smoother and helps with the bargaining! 🙏 Cultural Respect: What really touched my heart ❤️ was seeing the deep love and respect the locals have for the Royal Family and these sacred structures. It was genuinely beautiful to witness. Etiquette: Please remember to be super respectful and polite here. Dress modestly and soak in the atmosphere with reverence. 🤫 I have always loved this country, and experiences like this make me love it even more! Long live the King! 🤴🙌🇺🇸

We visited this palace on our first day in the city. Amazing site, so different to anything else you might have experienced before. Stunning colours, history and art. Life here is so diverse, wealth and abject poverty, vibrant colours and mud/litter. The palace certainly portrays a very affluent acceptance in a country with so many living with so little.
Polly W — Google review
Be careful. Everywhere says it closes at 5pm but they stop visitors FROM ENTERING at 4pm to allow everyone currently on the grounds to be OUT BY 5 pm. This caught me off guard - but still returned the next day as they open very early at 8pm :). Beautiful grounds, temples, pagodas, and shrines. Don’t skip over the artwork all along the inner wall of the Silver Pagoda area - very interesting and not highlighted.
Tyler B — Google review
Stunning, magnificent and beautiful palace complex. The palace was first constructed by King Norodom between 1866 and 1870; but was largely demolished and rebuilt between 1912 and 1932. The palace's architecture is a mix of traditional Khmer design and French architectural influence, as seen in the gilded roofs, high spires, intricate carvings, and a layout that reflects both grandeur and harmony with nature. Gorgeous
CK C — Google review
This palace is epic beautiful. The structure, the architecture, the splendour, the landscapes and the gardens, the art work, every detail of this palace is unique. It’s difficult to catch its essence in pictures. And then there’s the Hall of the King which is inaccessible to visitors. Photography is also prohibited in this area. So the eye has to catch it all and stack away in memory. Worth a visit guys if you happen to be in Combodia. The Palace also has the King’s Residence and we happened to get a glimpse of his convoy which was disciplined and courteous. They ushered people to move away with dignity, no rudeness nothing.
Seema C — Google review
Impressive buildings, but unfortunately most of them are closed to visitors, so you can only see them from the outside. There’s also little to no tourist information available to explain their history or significance. Overall, that makes the experience feel a bit overpriced.

Wat Phnom Daun Penh is a captivating Buddhist temple that stands as the tallest religious structure in Phnom Penh, with its origins dating back to 1373. This iconic site is steeped in legend, particularly the tale of a wealthy woman named Penh who discovered four bronze Buddha statues floating down the Mekong River. To honor these sacred relics, she constructed an artificial hill—Phnom—which ultimately gave the city its name.
Lovely temple / park that only costs $1 per person to enter. Highly recommend adding this temple to your things to do in Phnom Penh. The park also has a lovely cafe / souvenir shops inside - loads of lovely statues and wooden figurines.

A visit to Cambodia has to include thus amazing site - absolutely stunning, and my second visit. Some 19/20 years on there is little change - other than the amount of tourists !! Seeing the sunrise behind the temple is superb, but arriving at any time is just as good. Allow at least a couple of hours to walk round, climb the steps to look across the temple, meet local people etc there's toilets on site, local stalls, food etc. There are numerous other temples well worth visiting around here. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with an amazing history.

This is a Buddhist temple in the centre of Phnom Penh on top of a small hill. You can get great views of the city from here. Wat Phnom has a height of 46 meters. The pagoda is named after Lady Penh from the story of the discovery of the four Buddha statues and one Vishnu statue. There are a stupa, pagoda and temple at the site

Beautiful temple to visit while in Phnom Penh. The price of entry for foreigners is only $1 per person and definitely worth the price. The grounds are beautiful and not over crowded. Definitely recommend drinking plenty of water as there is a moderate hill to climb to get to the temple. Overall, one of the best attractions visited while in Phnom Penh.

It is worth a visit to Wat Phnom if you are in central Phnom Penh. It is the starting for all major highways in Cambodia as well as the legendary origin stories of our city. Even the name Phnom Penh, literally "the hill of Lady Penh", reinforces the centrality of Wat Phnom, as this pagoda is the hill that Lady Penh built to honour 4 Buddhist statues that miraculous floated down the river to her. Whether you believe the stories or not, come see the altars dedicated to Lady Penh adjacent to a Buddhist temple (a nice mixing of Buddhism and traditional shamanism). The pagoda grounds also feature a statue representing the return of Battambang and Siem Reap from Thailand to Cambodia, a reminder that the current Thai-Khmer problems are certainly not the first instance of friction between the two nations. Pro Tip There are a lot of cultural performances in the pagoda stage so check the schedule to see if anything is going on during your visit. Also, during Khmer New Year in April, this pagoda is the epicenter of music, dancing and water fighting for the whole of PP.

Went on a Sunday at around 5.30pm. They told me to put the $1 in a box, and no tickets were issued. Other than that, place was nice, beautiful buildings, and sunset was super awesome. Spent around 1hr and 10mins to take multiple photos.

Mad Monkey Phnom Penh is a vibrant hostel that caters to the modern-day flashpacking crowd. It offers stylish dorms and private rooms, an outdoor pool, bike rentals, yoga sessions, and a lively bar. The hostel also features a restaurant serving top-quality Western and Asian food throughout the day. Mad Monkey organizes various activities for guests to explore the city together, such as sunset riverside tours, pub crawls, and Mekong River cruises.
I had such a wonderful experience staying at Mad Monkey Hostel in Phnom Penh! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. The hospitality was truly exceptional, everyone was friendly, approachable, and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Special thanks to Kim, Kelly, and a few other amazing team members whose names I didn’t get , they were especially kind and attentive to me and my sister throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and constantly cleaned, which made us feel at ease. We also loved the food and drinks at the hostel’s restaurant bar everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The whole atmosphere at Mad Monkey was fun and relaxing. I’ll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Phnom Penh. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hostel experience!

Mad monkey never disappoints. The rooms were simple but clean, with AC. The beds were larger than expected and very comfortable. The dragshow was entertaining and cool. The food is a liiittle bit more expensive than at a local restaurant but the vibes make up for it. The location is central, and I liked the little pond and bridge at the entrance, I think it looks very nice. I met very nice people here. I will come again :)

Great hostel. Really large hang out area, billiards and a pool with lots of greenery really pretty. Staff is so kind. Went on a sunset walking tour with Leakena who was amazing. Got to see the sunset from a boat, try local foods and bugs with two free beers for only $6. Would highly recommended staying here.

This was my first experience staying at a Mad Monkey, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I stayed here over Halloween expecting a party, but there wasn’t one just a pub crawl to a few crowded places with very little atmosphere. When I arrived, no one showed me to my room or explained where the bar, pool, or restaurant areas were, and there was no mention of any tours or activities available. Because Mad Monkey is such a big commercial chain, it feels like they don’t need to put much effort into creating a good guest experience they’ll always have customers regardless. Smaller hostels tend to offer a much more personal and authentic stay. The rooms could also use some TLC. There was no real privacy in the dorms, and the bed curtains didn’t close properly, so light from the window came in very early. I expected better, but sadly, I’m not too surprised.

Well this stay is quite famous and flooded by tourist mostly European due to the vibes. It's a party place too at night. Bar, pool, snooker table available here. If you cannot stand with heavy noise or travel with family, this place might not be suitable for you. The location is quite strategic, there are 4 levels of room. The price is good, the room is simple suit with what you are paying. It's very basic facilities, not too spacious but shouldn't complain more. Sadly there are not lift to the fourth floor where our room is located. The service is also good, the reception is kind even though to check in they have extras pre cautious unlike other hotels but it's understandable. The view from our room is also magnificent can see the lots of towers nearby. Most importantly it's safe and clean here.
Hafizun M — Google review
My room was clean and comfortable, and the hostel had a lovely, welcoming decor. The city tour with Leakena was so much fun, and meeting Thythy made the trip even better. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
Şilan A — Google review
It's a big hostel, large lobby, including reception, pool and bar. Great receptionist, I was given a free room upgrade, a 10% discount and a free beer upon arrival. Room and bathroom were clean only bed's coverlet was a bit too thin. Place is packed with young people, music is on until 23:00 but it's clearly defined in hostel's rules.

Mad Monkey Phnom Penh is the perfect spot for backpackers and social travelers. The hostel has a lively atmosphere, with a fun rooftop bar and pool that make it easy to meet people from around the world. Rooms and dorms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly, always making sure you feel welcome. Great location close to the city’s attractions and nightlife. If you’re looking for a mix of fun, comfort, and community, this is the place to be!

Nestled in the heart of Phnom Penh, La Rose Suites is a charming five-star boutique hotel that beautifully blends local tradition with modern luxury. Guests are treated to complimentary one-hour massages during their stay, enhancing the experience of relaxation and rejuvenation. The hotel boasts a delightful Khmer restaurant where you can savor authentic flavors while enjoying traditional apsara dance performances each evening. With its lush garden pool and serene ambiance, La Rose Suites provides an oasis for travelers seeking comfort and tranquility.
Arrived with a group and were met by the exceptional staff at La Rose Suites in Phnom Penh. Centrally located on a side street from a large boulevard, close to restaurants, the Imperial Palace, the River and sights. In the area around is a micro brewery, laundry and convenience stores. The hotel itself is rated 4 star but could easily be a 5 due to the staff. Had a corner room with a ton of space, a small but serviceable balcony, and all amenities in the room. Beds were comfortable, a variety of pillows available, and an in room fridge available. Massages in hotel were fantastic, special shout out to Cheng. Dinner was excellent, and often included an Aspera dancer and musicians for quiet entertainment, and breakfasts were complete with good selection. Pools were small but perfectly maintained. As mentioned pool bar area is small and needs a little attention and maybe a little more selection, but it met our needs. Bar staff were eager to learn how to make various drinks for us! The hotel also supports an after school English program for less fortunate children from poorer areas, and some of the staff are graduates of that program. Some of our group went to the school to interact with the kids and add some supplies for them. Great experience! The staff were wonderful and completely there to add to our experience. The entire group felt this was a high point of our tour across 12 different hotels and 4 countries. Highly recommended!

This hotel is amazing. I have been here so many times over the years. I love that it is locally owned and the most friendly staff on the planet. They make you feel so welcome. I feel like home when I walk in this place. The room is so inviting and the best part is that it so convenient to everything around town. Especially it is very quiet once you step foot in the room. I have been to so many hotels but this is my top pick and every time I come here, I will always stay here.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at La Rose Suites! From the minute we arrived we felt so welcome - among the friendliest, kindest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced in a hotel! The room was beautiful with lots of thoughtful little touches. Breakfast excellent and a huge choice. If you get chance to join their walking tour, it is highly recommended - a chance to see some different sides to the city and visit the small school which the hotel supports and funds through it's charitable foundation. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a few more days here, but if I came back to Phnom Penh I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Very highly recommended! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable ❤️

Whilst I wasn’t staying at this hotel, I had 3 massages here whilst staying for a week in PP working in a remote village. My feet, legs and back were really feeling it from working in the village and these ladies really provided sensational massages - very professional and very good techniques. I was twisted like a pretzel but it was all worth it! Thank you ladies! 🙏

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at La Rose Suites. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly makes it special is the amazing staff! They are incredibly attentive, always ready to help, opening doors for you, and ensuring you feel genuinely cared for. I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and they made me feel completely at home with a lovely surprise in my room! Such a thoughtful gesture! 🎂 The hotel’s location is perfect, very close to all the main attractions, and the food is also delicious. The hotel also offers cooking classes, which are so much fun and an incredibly enjoyable experience! Thank you all for an unforgettable stay! ❤️

went there for my revision (cafe only). the vibes were quiet and french styled. ordered french toast and iced latte. they were superb. staff was attentive and friendly. when the table was moving so much lol, she quickly noticed and helped me move to another table.

Absolutely loved my stay at La Chronique! Check-in was quick, easy, and super friendly — the team here make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are tastefully designed, with modern touches, comfy beds, and those soft, “club-style” towels that make all the difference after a long day. Everything feels fresh, well thought-out, and spotlessly clean. The hotel’s coffee shop on the ground floor is fantastic — it’s bright, stylish, and serves excellent coffee along with great breakfast and brunch options. The décor across the property is beautiful: patterned tiles, warm tones, and that slightly French-colonial charm that fits Phnom Penh perfectly. I stayed in one of the quieter rooms at the back — highly recommend! You’re shielded from the busy street noise, so it’s peaceful at night. The location is also brilliant — in a cool, leafy part of the city near Russian Market (Tuol Tompoung), where you’ll find local crafts, clothes, and some of the city’s best cafés and boutiques. It’s a trendy, creative neighbourhood but still very local in feel. If you want to head to the Royal Palace, National Museum, or the riverside, it’s only about a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away, and there are always drivers waiting just outside. Overall, La Chronique has the perfect mix of comfort, design, and convenience. A great place to stay in Phnom Penh — I’d 100% come back again without hesitation.

Nice, charming, small hotel, look so great cafe on the down stair. They offer the indoor and outdoor to seat. They design the cafe as a French mix with Cambodia, the atmosphere within a block of Russia Market.

Had a wonderful stay at La Chronique. The hotel is very well staffed and maintained. The rooms are well apportioned and kept in excellent condition. There’s an associated café downstairs, but if you’re looking for other options, there are fantastic more cafés and restaurants in the nearby area. If you’re planning to explore the Royal Palace or other attractions, a tuk-tuk ride is only about a dollar. Overall, I had a fantastic week in Phnom Penh during the Water Festival and would gladly recommend La Chronique—and return on my next visit.

I went there and took some picture of my product without bothering anyone ( outdoor area). However, I was told that I needed permission to take a picture, and at the same time handed me the receipt and asked me to pay in advance . I feel like this was a polite way of asking me to leave the shop. 😅😅

Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel is an upscale apartment hotel offering casual units with stunning river views and six dining options, including a bar. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, spa facilities at Jasmine Spa, and various wellness amenities. The tastefully furnished accommodations provide modern comforts such as LCD TVs and air purifiers. The hotel's strategic location offers a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle while being just a short drive from attractions like Cambodia Post Office.
I had a good experience with the hotel service, the receptionists are also very helpful, especially Ms. Vorleak and her team. The only thing that they should look at is the key card that works not so well, but the overall service is very good and can accommodate to customers requests well.

I came here with a business trip for UN and we had huge event here with the government. My room card was already cannot used at around 11:30 on that day. When I checked out, I wanted to go down at around 12. 30, it seems the hotel cannot wait to kick me out by calling me and knocking at the door like crazy, while the rooms are not that full actually. My flight is a bit late at night. So I stayed at the lobby for a while charging my phone, and I took a nap by sitting on the couch because a bit tired. After a while, the hotel staff told me you cannot sleep in the lobby. Having been to more than 30 countries I was never told so. So I have to be awake by showing them I am using my phone. The room is good, the location is good, just not sure I have the right service as it seems the customers are not treated kind and with some empathy here. The elevator cannot close the door and it took them a while to figure out the problem while I told them at least 3 times. I am a frequent visitor of Phnom Penh and I thought of coming back again to this hotel. But now I am hesitating.

We had an excellent stay at Sokha Hotel & Residence. It’s a beautiful, large 5-star hotel, but with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The view from the rooftop bar is incredible – probably the best in Phnom Penh. The pool is huge and perfect for relaxing in the sun or swimming a few laps. There’s also a large gym and a very impressive spa. The hotel offers many restaurants, from Japanese to Italian, and the breakfast buffet is huge with everything you could wish for. The service is outstanding – very friendly and hospitable, making you feel at home even in such a big hotel. Our room was enormous, with huge windows and breathtaking views of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. We had a large, round bathtub with an amazing view of the city and a giant, comfortable bed – perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Overall, a fantastic stay in a hotel that perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel is one of the most premier hotels in Phnom Penh. Located on the edge of the Chroy Changvar Peninsula, the hotel is one of the most visible grand symbols of Phnom Penh’s rapid development. The hotel is one of the largest in Cambodia, with 549 rooms and suites, plus 195 serviced residence suites, with many amenities, including pools, gyms, fine dining restaurants, catering, etc. The hotel is a popular choice with the locals, as many government and non-government agencies, institutions, and private companies book it to host many large gatherings, workshops, seminars, and events. The place is becoming a historic site, as the hotel was the main venue of the ASEAN Summits 2022, where Cambodia chaired the regional summits for the third time, with many leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, China’s Premier Li Keqiang, and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Tribe Phnom Penh is a trendy hotel catering to the young business crowd, offering understated rooms and suites with striking designs and vibrant colors. The property embraces minimalism to create a community atmosphere, encouraging guests to connect with each other. Conveniently located for exploring the city and boasting views of the Tonle Sap and Mekong river confluence from balconies, the hotel provides modern amenities such as steamers in rooms.
I recently returned from a three-night stay at Tribe Hotel in Phnom Penh, and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional—especially the check-in staff, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. As a status member, I requested a late check-out and was granted until 4:30 PM, which is far beyond what most hotels offer. The rooms are stylishly decorated with a modern, funky vibe and provide a very comfortable space to unwind. Don’t miss the rooftop bar—it offers stunning views of the river and a charming, relaxed atmosphere. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Night Market and surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and dining options along the riverside. I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were genuinely friendly, the hotel was lovely, and I’ll definitely be returning.

From the moment I stepped into the Tribe Hotel, I knew I was in for a treat. The welcoming atmosphere was set immediately by the two front office professionals who greeted me warmly and generously presented me with vouchers for a massage and food and beverage discounts. This thoughtful gesture was the perfect start to my stay. The attention to detail in the hotel's design is evident everywhere. The rooms are not just clean; they are impeccably well-appointed and feel incredibly current, reflecting a stylish, modern aesthetic. I especially appreciated the inclusion of contemporary features like the co-working spaces and easy casting from my mobile device onto the TV. Beyond the stunning environment, the true gem of this hotel is its staff. Every person I encountered was polite, helpful, courteous, and genuinely eager to provide great service which is a testament to their high standards of training. The amenities offer perfect spaces for both rest and play. The swimming pool is a beautiful, free-form infinity pool surrounded by comfortable seating. It's such a balmy and restful spot that I even drifted off to sleep there! My evening was spent at the rooftop bar, which boasts amazing vibes. The staff here maintained the same high level of service: they were attentive, well-trained, hospitable, and polite. I highly recommend trying the coconut-based cocktail when it paired perfectly with the savoury pork cracklings for a delightful experience. In summary, the Tribe Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a stylish, modern hotel with a team dedicated to providing a five-star level of friendly, attentive service.

I also enjoyed the “breakfast buffet,” “pool area,” and “city view from my room”. These small details truly made my experience memorable. Thank you for your hospitality and for making my visit enjoyable and especially thanks Bunheng Khagna and Sophanit for a good service. I will gladly recommend Tribe Hotel to friends and colleagues, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Staying at TRIBE felt like landing in a perfectly designed urban retreat: modern but warm, stylish yet unpretentious. The rooms are crafted with thoughtful details (like handy plug sockets around the desk and a balanced mix of light and privacy), and every corner looks freshly curated. The rooftop bar and pool area are fantastic for an evening unwind, with great views over the skyline and the river beyond. And best of all: you’re just a short stroll from the night market, riverside walkways, and a great mix of cafes and local food stalls. One of the best locations I’ve enjoyed in Phnom Penh.

Very hip hotel that has a vibrant theme. Close to pretty much all the great tourist locations that Phnom Penh has to offer. Theres a roof top bar and swimming pool with amazing views. They also have a few restaurants with good food but there are plenty of other choices if your taste buds want to explore. It's the perfect location to base yourself and explore what Phnom Penh has to offer. Not far down the road is the bus terminal which has buses that can take you around the country and even other parts of South East Asia.

I stayed at the hotel 3 nights. The room was very clean and some staffs were nice. Breakfast We were also at the ballroom to watch a Live Football Match on 26th Oct and would like to thank special staffs there who were really helpful, thoughtful during the event. Borey, Heng and another skinny technician staff I couldn’t remeber his name is an exceptional hotel staff who worked toward the event needs I ever experienced before. Had pleasant experience for reception services at check-in and check-out. Breakfast buffet quality was excellent, delicious, however, varieties can and should be improved. Most staff were genuinely service-minded and professional. One female staff (team lead) at buffet can improve on service, received stone faced from her on first day. One male staff at drink station not very helpful. We also met the owners during the Live Football Match, very nice couples.

Old world charm and service. This is a first class hotel in every respect, with a large, attentive and well trained staff. A quiet peaceful oasis - perfectly located in the middle of this bustling capital city. It feels like 1960 all over again; I wished I had packed a stylish linen jacket instead of my blue jeans and polo shirt. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The swimming pool was larger than average for Phnom Penh. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet. Over-all, despite it's iconic status, the propery is very clean and well-cared for.

Loved our stay here! Great location - just a few minutes walk from the Royal Palace and lots of nice cafes and restaurants around. Room was great - cool AC and comfy bed. Restaurant nice on the rooftop with a lovely infinity pool overlooking the city. Staff are also genuinely lovely folk - helpful without being overbearing. Also really liked the turtles and fish in the pond at the front!

10/10 stay!! Perfect location, walking distance to many things. Staff so so lovely and also helpful with extra requests. Best hotel food I’ve eaten, breakfast buffet was delicious! Rooftop had amazing panoramic views of the city. Room was immaculate upon arrival, WiFi fast and TV had sports channel. Had a brilliant massage at the Spa (went back!). Even got an arrival drink and all our bags sorted for us. My favourite stay in this city. True luxury experience!

Very central to everything so walking distance to so many places although we mostly used a very friendly tuktuk driver for the novelty factor. The hotel is great with super clean facilities in spite of the age of the building. The two main features are the roof top infinity pool on the 9th floor and the superb restaurant also on 9th floor. Oh wait! Another amazing feature is the The Petal massage spa on the 8th floor.. I had one of the best relaxing massages of my live... Rave rave rave! The staff are so friendly and polite with greetings and service. Nothing was a problem. We only had 2 nights but I wish it was more ❤️

⭐️ Aquarius Hotel & Urban Resort – Great Location with Room for Improvement I enjoyed my 3-day, 2-night stay at Aquarius Hotel & Urban Resort in Phnom Penh. The hotel’s location is excellent as it’s within walking distance of the Royal Palace of Cambodia and other key attractions. Getting around was easy and affordable using Grab for tuk-tuk rides. 🌟 Highlights: - Well air-conditioned and comfortable room - Beautiful rooftop infinity pool with stunning city views - Good variety of breakfast options, perfect for starting the day ⚠️ Areas for Improvement: - Bathroom cleanliness could be better, particularly around the sink and grout lines in the shower. - Wi-Fi on the 2nd floor was very spotty, and I often had to rely on my mobile data throughout my stay. ✅ Overall: Aquarius Hotel offers a great location and relaxing amenities, especially the rooftop pool. With small improvements in cleanliness and Wi-Fi connectivity, it could easily be a top choice for visitors staying in Phnom Penh.

We have loved our stay at this resort, so very central to everything. We walked just about everywhere……The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The food is outstanding as well. The only thing we didn’t know was the 4 day Public Holiday 🤷‍♀️ but we still enjoyed the city and its people.

Excellent stay at Aquarius a few days ago. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant were class. The food was excellent, as were the staff, and the quality of our room. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful, one guy even got me a pizza delivered at 2:30 in the morning. Obviously I shared it with him, as my family was already knocked out in our comfortable beds, and it just felt like the right thing to do. 😀 We are looking forward to our next stay for sure.

Stayed here 4 times, beautiful pool, great location. Bar is cool. Years ago I banged my head and was unconscious, they were great couldn't have helped me more. Love the staff.

Excellent stay at a small but mighty tropical feeling gem. Great character and delightful finishing touches, which include a modestly sized but sophisticated rooftop infinity pool. More a hotel for solo, couple or business travelers who would appreciate its sophistication and quietude, rather than for families.

Located 10 minutes from the Airport. Very convenient. We stayed a total of five nights. The rooms were pretty big. In our return trip from Siem Reap to PP we were supposed to have reservations but they didn't have anything on this booking and had to find me a room. I had email confirmation so that helped. It wasn't a big deal after we knew we had a room. Call and confirm reservations I guess. Anyway, this room (707) had issues with the shower that flood the bathroom so nothing was put on the floor during showers. There was also a patch of black mold behind the sink. I suspect that is related to the shower. Even if you fully aim the water low there was still a water world when I got out. Maybe it's just how showers work here. The beds were nice. They give you water to put in the fridge and there is a grocery store on the ground floor. Outside the hotel are many places to get a massage. Everyone is wearing uniforms so I assumed correctly they are legit and I got my best massage for the trip right outside the hotel. It's a bit of a long ride to get to the riverside. Since it's vacation and I had no where to be, I didn't mind. Just an opportunity to people watch for 20 or 30 minutes. It's good to know though. The last night we ate the hotel restaurant. I didn't end up eating my Curry Chicken because it was not very good. The kids enjoyed a pizza and french fries. So it's hit or miss on having a positive outcome here. Overall a great hotel with some opportunities to improve.

Stayed 1 night and very convenient as it’s 15 mins from the airport by taxi. Actual lobby was on the 5th floor via a elevator. Hotel was deserted when I checked in at 830pm. 2 Counter staff spoke English. Very Chinese area. A lot of Chinese shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Room was nice. Toilet large. Have all amenities and hot water.Bed is hard. My room view was the pool.

This hotel offers comfortable rooms and suites, earning a solid 4-star rating. The accommodations are well-appointed and provide a pleasant stay. The service is satisfactory, though not exceptional, and the amenities are decent, meeting most needs. However, the pricing is on the higher side, making it more suitable for those looking for an upscale experience. Overall, it's a good choice if you're seeking quality rooms in a higher price range, but expect outstanding service or extensive amenities. Overall ok with me.
Shyamkant W — Google review
I had arranged a meeting many times with 60-70 participants. They offered reasonable price with high class services, we feel we got valuable experience for our events. Later, I stay 2 nights for vacation during Chinese New Year, we got red envelope too. The hotel provided us very good experiences for our vacation.
MoNo A — Google review
Aside from being close to the airport, it's disappointing for the price. Agoda incorrectly stated the number of guests and told the customer to file a complaint with Agoda. I received an extra pillow and blanket, but it had a strong smell as if it had been a long time since it had been washed. The morning is very, very ordinary.
윤미경 — Google review
The manager, Mr. Weng, and his team of hotel staff are some of the most accomodating and helpful people on earth. Excellent rooms, extremely satisfying breakfast buffet, and conveniently located between the airport and city centre. And rooms are very reasonably priced.
Leet G — Google review
Fair price for clean spacious room close to PNH airport. Has nice outdoor swimming useful for lap swimming. Well appointed large gym. Breakfast included, with some fresh fruit, bread, Khmer food and omelet station. Ride to airport was included. I like the Courtyard Marriott more but longer distance from airport and nearly double the price. The Dara is dated but clean and functions well. Staff promised my driver will take me to the airport at 7:45 am and he was early. Modern clean van.

I can't say enough about this luxury hotel. It's perfectly right in the middle of the city, but away from all the noise, safe, and cozy. Everyone there is so friendly and hospitable. They really make you feel like family. Service was top notch. Communication and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Everything there is clean from the lobby, restaurant, rooms, bathrooms, pool area, laundry room, and spa. I've recommended this hotel to all my family and friends visiting Cambodia from abroad and now, LuxCity is their go-to hotel as well. Thank you to the staff and team for making this hotel our home away from home! Love all of you and can't wait to be back soon!

Luxcity exceeded all expectations. It’s a modern and clean hotel, with a real luxury feel to it. The staff are all so attentive and welcoming, and the breakfast was really good, serving both western and SE Asian cuisines to cater for everyone. Location wise it’s in a quiet and safe feeling area, but not too far away from the main city centre/river area. The pool area and bar were also great, and you can do your own laundry for free which is an added perk! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in PP 😊

Highly recommend this hotel!!! Had a memorable experience and will be my go hotel for every trip from now on!! (Unless Im in the mood to treat myself to 5 Stars hotel 😌) Safety is at peace of mind. The room is neat, clean, and spacious!! The staffs from ground to top floor, the front desk, lobby restaurant, the spa, the sky lounge, are so welcoming!! They have self service laundromat that makes me feel like home. I could tell that their breakfast is really try to meet their guest need, a wide variety. I enjoyed my breakfast with iced americano, never missed it. Some morning just grab the coffee and go, but wish they closed the cup better without leaking and drip on my white shoes 🥺) On my checked in, I got higher floor, 13th, I went to sleep and wake up to the beautiful city view. The bathroom is well equipped with all the necessities, any additional are very welcome to request. When choosing a place to stay, safety is always the priority. Talking from experience about safety, the hotel is located on the same street of military office, make me feel safe in away. And I once got locked outside of my room because my roommate fell asleep and they doubled locked the door, the front desk couldn’t help me but could only ring the phone room to wake them up. I checked in with them 2 times, total of 10 nights, didn’t change the hotel because the convenience of the services they have available. When stay 3 nights plus, being greeted by the same staffs in and out, start to feel relax and enjoy the stay!! They also have transportation service, I didn’t get to try, maybe next time…😁 as a guest staying they also have special promo for certain services too, during my stays I got 10% off of my spa, I went for 2 sessions. Overall, will definitely book this hotel for my family for their upcoming trip!!

As one that been in Phnom phen for two months, Luxcity it's the best decision I took!!! The room is on high floor, Brakefast is rich and renowned every couple of minutes, The hospitality team are just amazing!!! Especially Marco Michael and Khavang. Greeted me from the second I got of the taxi, untill all my problems solved. This guy's was able to check me in, help me with the visa, book a rental car, a tour for the next day and a 4:30 Am ride to the airport. Just Amazing They told me that I should visit the sky bar, At the 24th floor, with live music, pool and the view of Phnom phen. The Bar staff was excellent as well, Totally open minded about off menu drinks. Even if you order to your room from the app! Everything is amazing A drink is around 4$ 3 Night stay was around 170$ (weekend) ***Including brakefast All the Extra's such as the ride to the airport was 35$ +You're getting somebody that helps you in this miserable hour

First of all what I would like to mention, Dear hotel/rooftop bar management, we had an amazing experience during our very short 1 night stay. When we were next to the rooftop pool in the evening, only 2 of us, the musician which was playing in the bar, he noticed us and went out for few songs to play just only for us. It was one of the best memories we have from our 3 weeks trip around beautiful Cambodia. Rooftop pool was big and nice view. Breakfast was not very big selection, but good enough. Room was big and in general hotel is in good condition, looks new and fresh. View from the room also wad nice.

😤 SCAM HOTEL! Extremely Poor Stay – Unjustified $100 Deposit Deduction and Forced Signature ⚠️ Serious Complaint: Unjustified $100 Deposit Deduction I stayed in an Executive Room at your hotel. The experience was extremely poor, mainly because the hotel unjustly deducted my $100 deposit, claiming I smoked in the room. I strongly protest this action! * Negligent Facility Management: There were no clear non-smoking signs or warnings inside the hotel room, nor was I offered a choice or reminder about a non-smoking room. * Fabricated Excuse for Deduction: Without any concrete evidence, the hotel staff claimed I smoked and used this as an excuse to forcibly deduct my entire $100 deposit. This is blatant extortion and arbitrary charging! 🚫 Coercive Behavior: Attempt to Cover Up Fraud What is even more infuriating is that after deducting the deposit, the hotel staff forced me to sign a false document or form stating that I had "received my deposit." I explicitly refused to sign the document, as it was untrue. However, the staff adopted an extremely aggressive attitude and insisted I must sign it before I could leave. This is a clear act of deception and coercion, attempting to use a guest's signature on a false document to evade responsibility for the unfair deduction. The nature of this action is utterly appalling. 😡 Conclusion: A Complete and Utter Scam Hotel * Extremely Poor Service: Unprofessional and aggressive handling of the situation. * Financial Mismanagement/Suspected Fraud: Unjustly deducting the $100 deposit. * Forced Signature: Attempting to conceal the truth about the deduction; appalling behavior. I demand the hotel immediately refund the $100 deposit and apologize for coercing me to sign a false document. I will file a complaint with all relevant platforms and consumer protection agencies to warn others about this scam hotel.

Market
Central Market in Phnom Penh is a vibrant hub of local culture and commerce. The ochre-colored art-deco building, dating back to 1937, houses a bustling street food scene and a variety of stalls selling everything from fresh seafood and poultry to fruits, clothing, souvenirs, flowers, and household items. Visitors can also explore shops offering more upscale items like watches and jewelry.
Probably the most iconic market in Phnom penh. If you ask me, id say it a must come. Theres so many things to see and buy. Souvenirs, shirts bags watches, even their currency. You can easily spend an hour here walking.
SL W — Google review
Went here to do last minute shopping. The market is big, clean, organized and not confusing. The environment is not hot as other markets in this town. There are a lot of items available from souvenir, shirts, watch, food, hair service, tailor and so on. The price here can be bargained, the seller is friendly and kind. Shootout to this one booth that sells souvenir for giving me a mega discount. For those who want to come shopping here please stop by her shop D-033, she is very nice and kind. Can speak Malay as well. Guarantee you a satisfying shopping experience.

This crispy baby prawns with pepper lime sauce are seriously really amazing. You can find them on the wet market side. The bread stall across from the Hakse phone shop is my go-to every time I visit. Pairing it all with a refreshing sugar cane juice or coconut juice is a must.
Janez Y — Google review
A busy and vibrant market selling all kinds of knick knacks, food, clothes, daily necessities, religious artifacts and even local titbits such as deep fried spiders, scorpions and insect pupae. Interesting place to visit, easy to spend hours browsing at the mind-boggling array of products
CK C — Google review
It's got to be done !! Just keep heading back to the centre if you feel you're losing track of where you are !! A real cultural shock on arrival if you've not had one of these 'experiences ' previously !! Great, diverse stalls, from fruit and veg, to underwear, to fresh fish, meat, souvenirs and anything inbetween !! Try some bartering, try fresh coconut and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere. There's very little hard sell, the Cambodian marketeers want to make a living, but they're certainly not too pushy or rude, quite the opposite.

Well worth a visit, there is so much to see you almost end up with whiplash Everything imanigable is laid out for sale, the best things as a tourist are the local fruit and vegetables, fish and meats. We even filled out some surveys for the local student's regarding tourism.

Situated just 300 meters from Riverfront Park, guests can easily explore the nearby eateries and local shops, with the Phnom Penh night market a short 10-minute walk away.
Great location, photos accurate. Spacious, clean and great value for money. Friendly host. No lift so if you are not up for stairs, request lower level room.

I stayed there 2 weeks. Good things: - spacious rooms - the location is great - the staff is quite friendly and can arrange you bus trips quite well. (The bus Phnom Penh => Siem Reap with "booking" company was very smooth and well organised) Negative things: - I asked to keep my luggage 2 nights since i was out of the city and they charged me 5$ for this, only to keep it in the backroom :/ => first time a hotel charged me for that and I stayed there 2 weeks. - The Wifi connexion is very slow (950Kbps), so its hard to watch sth on the Internet, not good for digital nomads. - Price is a bit expensive. - The comfort depends on the room. In my first room some electrical plugs were not working and there were no sockets close to the bed, in the 2nd room everything was fine. Also, sometimes communication is not so easy, prices are given in dollars. - No elevator so if you room is on the 5th floor...

Let me start off with good one. Pros: The staffs are super polite and friendly. They greeted me with smile every time I go in and out of the hotel. They print the documents I need for free. Room is super spacious. Better than most of the hotels at this price. They make up my room everyday. Very reasonable price (I booked this room from Agoda). Cons: No elevator: not an ideal place for older adults Smelly toilet: just a little bit but it’s not too bad There is no toilet door in my room (room with double bed). There is also a construction nearby. Sometimes, you will get annoyed by the loud noise. The hotel’s restaurant is not running at the moment. Din light everywhere around the hotel. Very honest review (31 Oct 2024) Overall, definitely recommend this hotel.

Remarkable! We had an amazing stay here all positive no negative that I can say TBH. The staff was helpful with a smile all the time. We even booked a tuktuk ride back and forth to Tonle Bati (suggest you this side trip if you'll not go to Siem Reap. To experience that Khmer temple) Will highly go back here and definitely recommend. Simply lovely!

The room is spacious and clean, the service staff cleaned our room everyday and supplied with new towels. Everything is perfect, except for the wifi is a little weak and sometimes couldn’t join, but overall is ok. The hotel located in the central so it’s convenient to visit popular places like night market, royal palace, independent monument… Highly recommend 👍🏻

Positives _ Location is good. Hygiene is good. Rooms with balcony are big. Negatives - No elevator so guests have to climb up. No cupboard or storage space inside the room. An open Almirah is there but the space is occupied by safe/locker meant for guests. Neutral points - Air-con is average and manageable at 16 degree. Queen bed is not big enough for 2 guests. Hotel use dim light in lobby and everywhere (not sure why)

Nice room, reasonable price, no elevator so inconvenient.

Location good, rooms are lovely and big with a balcony. As I’ve seen in the other reviews though the WiFi is really terrible. Have to log in each time you connect and even when/if you do connect it doesn’t work well at all or sporadically disconnects. Air-con didn’t cool the room down well enough at all either and took very long to get cool. Our room also leaked when it rained from the ceiling. No elevator so had to climb up 8 flights of stairs to our room. Nice staff although language barrier was difficult at times. Rooms clean in general and nicely designed.

Phnom Penh has an endless number of faceless, generic hotels. Amanjaya is a little different. A small boutique hotel, with a nod to colonial styling, the rooms are spacious and comfortable (we had the twin) with everything you need. The balcony is the perfect place to relax after a long day and watch the world rush by below you. Inside you're in a little oasis of calm. Hi stay The Onra hotel in August for a family trip. The staff were very welcoming and check-in was fast. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and strong Wi-Fi. The breakfast buffet had many choices, though it could use more fresh fruit. The sky bar is good view

Great location - close by the museum, good laundry and arm, and a short ride to dining options. The rooms were neat and tidy, if on the smaller side to similar hotels we’ve stayed in during this trip. The rooftop pool and bar area were great. The pool was lovely and the only downside was the pool area wasn’t larger, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Food and drink was reasonable quality and price at the hotel. A little dearer, as you’d expect, than a restaurant nearby. The included breakfast was on the smaller side to some we’ve had on this trip, with very limited/no options for dietary needs other than fresh fruit. At other hotels I’ve had beans, noodles, rice, stir fries, salads and more. The main reason for the loss of a star is that our air conditioning started to produce a putrid smell around 11pm our first night. It was so bad we had to turn it off but with the late hour we didn’t want to hassle of speaking to staff and moving rooms in the middle of the night. Around 3am I was so hot I couldn’t sleep and turned it on again and had no issues so we didn’t mention it to staff. The same thing happened the following night and meant we had two nights of very poor sleep. I mentioned it when we checked out the second day and the staff seemed a bit confused as I was just politely letting them know to check it in case it happened again. No one in our group had the issue.

Lovely hotel right in the centre (in fact very close to the S21 Genocide Museum). The hotel looks fairly new (or recently renovated) with spacious rooms and a great rooftop pool/bar with a near 360^ panoramic view. Breakfast was very good; service was excellent. Only criticism was that our bathroom shower occasionally made a very loud gurgling sound from the drain (probably when the adjacent room was using their shower and a slight noise from next door’s TV.

The market is filled with street-food vendors and stalls selling colorful fabrics, lamps, and other wares. The Indra Hotel is located in Phnom Penh, convenient for visitors to the Tuol Kouk district. The hotel features a restaurant and a fitness centre, as well as a bar. Rooms are comfortable and with all the necessary amenities, including private parking.
We have travelled a fair amount over the past 40 odd years staying in budget to 5 star. The Indra stands out for a number of reasons. Spacious rooms with good quality amenities. We stayed in a suite as we were there for 18 nights. The suites provide plenty of space to relax. Bathrooms are huge with sunken baths and separate rainfall walk in shower. His and her sinks. The staff are so so kind, pleasant and helpful. Without a doubt one gem of a hotel and hopefully we will return in December.

The service is nonexistent. I wanted to book this hotel for a week and reached out via WhatsApp to ask if they accepted American Express credit cards. Instead of answering yes or no, they told me to book online, to which I responded that I could book online but would still be required to pay at the hotel and thus needed to confirm if they accepted American Express. There was no further response, so I choose to book elsewhere.

Located in TK area where is a bit away from city center. It explains why the hotel equips cafe and restaurant. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious but can be ordered for 1 set only which was a pity. I would have higher expectations based on the price.

A lovely hotel including free computer, lovely pool and nice gym. Lots of plants around, so very calming. Room was also very nice, with refrigerator as well. Staff terrific. A ground floor Cafe, as well as a nice top floor restaurant with happy hour. Not as close to tourist destinations as I'd have preferred, but I didn't know in advance where we might go.

Went to Arun Cafe that's next door... The food is really good, well worth it!!! The fruit juices are super fresh, actual oranges... They also have a pizza special... Buy one get one free... I had the English breakfast it was the best scrambled eggs...

Very good and reasonably affordable hotel with excellent service and excellent security. Location relatively close to airport in a comparatively quiet neighborhood makes it a good first stop in Cambodia after e.g. a long flight; located relatively far from the main tourist attractions. Very good restaurant with nice French and Khmer fusion dishes, albeit somewhat on the pricey side. Tuktuks in general have difficulty to find this hotel; hire one from the vicinity of the hotel for the day and have them take you back here, or else find a young driver that speaks English and knows how to use Google Maps navigation.

The ideal place to stay in Phnom Penh! The room was large, clean and very quiet, ideal for recharging. The bathroom was a dream, we couldn't ask for better. With an incredible pool to cool off from the Phnom Penh heat, it also has access to a sauna and a super complete gym, one of the best we've seen in hotels. Dinner on the 5th floor is divine, everything was delicious. And the best was the staff, super friendly and always available to help with everything! We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Phnom Penh, it will be our choice again on our next visit!

Independence Monument, a 20-meter tower located at the intersection of Norodom Blvd and Sihanouk Blvd, was unveiled in 1962 to commemorate Cambodia's independence from France. Shaped like a lotus flower, it is best viewed from the park to the west. Adjacent to it is the Norodom Sihanouk Memorial, housing a bronze statue of King Norodom Sihanouk.
The Independence Monument is an iconic landmark in Phnom Penh, symbolizing Cambodia’s freedom from colonial rule. The intricate design and stunning architecture make it a must-see, especially at night when it’s beautifully lit. The surrounding park offers a peaceful spot to relax, making it a great place to visit for both history and scenery.
Markéta J — Google review
There is a long strip leading up to the monument that is in the roundabout. It is a nice area to walk around, gets very busy at night with people walking around and kids roller blading. It’s amazing how many independent statues there are along south east Asia all commending there freedom from the French.
Sup_Lick — Google review
The Independence Monument in Phnom Penh is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Built in 1958 to celebrate Cambodia’s independence from French colonial rule, it stands tall and proud in the center of a busy roundabout — shaped like a lotus flower, inspired by Angkor Wat architecture. While you can’t go inside, it’s still worth stopping by — especially during the day when the area is calmer and traffic lighter. At night, it’s beautifully lit, but also more crowded. There’s a nice park area around it where locals relax, jog, or sit in the shade. A good photo spot, a piece of history, and a peaceful moment in the middle of Phnom Penh’s buzz.

The Independence Monument is a tall, beautiful structure shaped like a lotus flower.I think this monument is truly special. Why visit it? It shows a big part of Cambodia's history and pride. It looks amazing to see, especially when it lights up brightly at night.

Beautiful scenery and building at night! Went on a Sunday night, and there was only a man sleeping within the monument. It's really worth the view, but just be careful when crossing the road to the monument, especially some cars and tuk tuks may drive quite fast.

Wow! What can I say when I'm so overwhelmed by the entire experience! This certainly is a must visit venue whether for a day visit or stay. The staff are so hospitable, so knowledgeable and so helpful. They do their very best to keep you comfortable and happy. I just loved this place. It was more than I expected. Great work. Well done to all!

Very unprofessional experience. We paid $32 for the french italian buffet at NagaWorld and it was absolutely not worth it. Food quality was disappointing, and service was worse. After finishing our meal, we realized there was another buffet section in a different room — no one informed us. When I asked, staff casually said, “Do you want some?” even though they were already clearing it out. Extremely disrespectful. They kept pushing for membership discounts but had zero preparation. When I inquired, they said, “Let me check with our VIP team,” and told us to wait 30 minutes. Totally unacceptable. Not coming back.
Feodora K — Google review
I went to the casino with a friend. You can enter without a passport, and there’s proper security so it feels safe. From the entrance, a golden world spread out before us. Photos weren’t allowed inside the casino, but they basically had everything—poker, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. You can just bet the minimum and enjoy the atmosphere, or aim for a jackpot if you like. There are plenty of luxury brands and restaurants as well. It seems they even have promotions where your hotel stay becomes free if you play at the casino.

The reception team were exceptionally friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick and easy. Excellent resort casino. I came here to play Texas holding poker and there were three tables running of of hold'em and plo ..casino is fully y air-conditioned. I had lunch and they had lunch in a French restaurant which was excellent if a little pricing were very good. Thankfully I did not have to leave the casino today to go go to the other casino as there is a passage under the main road which is for the air conditioned and has plenty of talk talk level shops such as Gucci Tommy Hilfiger etc.
David G — Google review
Had a good time playing poker here. I did wind up getting a cold/sick. Cigarette smoke here is a big problem and those who smoke have no respect for those who don't. Had a lady fire one up right infront of me while stuck on the elevator together in a confined space. Even in no-smoking areas your nose will burn. Place was a little more empty than I thought it would be.. wide open layout, seems like there are poor uses of space. I still enjoyed myself, I just wish it felt more classy... before this I was in Macau and boy was I spoiled there with luxury prior to my arrival here in Cambodia lol. I didn't see anything fishy either.. seemed like nice staff & very hospitable. Would recommend dumping profits back into the casino and create designated smoking areas that are confined. I'm telling you guys it is bad, it'll burn your freaking nose. Make sure you know which hotel you booked.. naga 1 or naga 2.. they connect each other underground so you can walk back and forth. Starbucks is down the road if you need it. Food is a little difficult imo.

International airport
Phnom Penh International Airport is a modernized travel hub served by various international airlines, making it accessible from different parts of the world. The airport offers a comfortable atmosphere with ample seating and relaxation areas for travelers. Additionally, it features popular dining options like Dairy Queen and KFC, providing convenience for passengers. Moreover, the presence of well-known brands such as Starbucks and travel accessory stores adds to the overall convenience for travelers.
Phnom Penh International Airport is very clean and well-organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and easy. The waiting areas are comfortable with good facilities. I had a smooth and pleasant experience overall. The shops and restaurants have great options. Security checks were efficient and professional. I would happily travel through this airport again!

Smooth and Convenient Travel Experience PNH Airport is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Immigration and baggage process are usually quick. Staff are helpful and there are enough shops and food options for travelers. Great for both arrivals and departures!
Roknuzzaman M — Google review
I visited Phnom Penh recently and really liked the cozy vibe of the airport. It may not be very glamorous in appearance, but what stands out is the dining area with its multiple food counters offering a good variety. I tried a chicken panini and a carrot cake at one of the outlets and truly enjoyed both. The airport is also quite clean, with convenient pickup points nearby, which made the overall experience pleasant and hassle-free.
Dr. R — Google review
The Techno Airport in Cambodia was a pleasant surprise after navigating other Southeast Asia airports. Unlike Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City Airports, the Techno is clean, well organized and modern. It is a new airport, opened in 2025 and includes the most updated equipment. The baggage conveyor belt has an innovative & efficient design which contributes to a smooth check-in process. The geometrical design is beautiful and the airport personnel are polite, helpful and also proud of their new digs.
Lorie S — Google review
That must be the last time I travel through this airport. It is the busiest international airport in Cambodia and serves as the country's main international gateway. It is Cambodia's second largest airport by area. During the Japanese occupation of Cambodia they built as many as fifteen airports through the country, including on the site of the current airport. It is reported that these airports were built using slave labor. After independence from France in 1953, King Norodom Sihanouk ordered new airstrips or improvements to existing sites.

✈️ Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) - Honest Review 📅 Visit Date & Time Visited in late June 2025, arriving around 2 PM for an international departure. 🎯 Purpose of Visit Solo international travel, business-related. ⸻ 📍 Location & Accessibility Phnom Penh International Airport is located about 10 km west of the city center. Getting there by taxi or ride-hailing services like Grab takes around 30–45 minutes depending on traffic, which can be unpredictable in Phnom Penh. Road signage is decent, but the immediate area around the airport can be slightly congested during peak hours. ⸻ 🚗 Parking & Outdoor Environment There is a paid parking lot right in front of the terminal with both short-term and long-term options. It’s not very large, but it’s well-organized and usually has available spots. Drop-off and pick-up zones are also fairly efficient, with security staff helping to keep things moving. The airport exterior is clean but relatively modest. It doesn’t have the ultra-modern architecture of major Asian hubs, but it’s functional and approachable. ⸻ 🚪 Entry & Accessibility The terminal entrance is easy to access and includes ramps, wide doors, and flat surfaces, making it wheelchair-friendly. Security presence is visible but not intrusive. Signage in English and Khmer makes navigation smooth for foreign visitors. ⸻ 👀 First Impressions The first impression inside the terminal is quite positive. While the airport is not very large, it is tidy and well-lit. There’s a calm, slightly tropical vibe with wooden accents and plenty of natural light near the boarding gates. ⸻ 🛋️ Interior & Atmosphere Restrooms: Restrooms are clean and generally well-maintained, though a bit small. Paper supplies and soap are fully stocked. Ambiance: The atmosphere is relaxed. Background music is minimal, and announcements are clear but not disruptive. It doesn’t feel overly crowded, even during busier times. Seating: There’s decent seating throughout the terminal. While not luxurious, there are cushioned chairs with armrests and charging stations in select areas. Ventilation & Climate: Air conditioning works well throughout the terminal—cool but not freezing. Ventilation is adequate, and the air quality feels fresh, not musty. Lighting: Natural light floods much of the terminal, particularly near the departure gates, creating a bright and welcoming ambiance. ⸻ 👨‍✈️ Staff Service The staff at Phnom Penh International Airport are courteous and helpful. Security and immigration officers were professional and efficient. Airline ground staff spoke English and provided clear directions. Check-in was smooth and quick, with short queues. Staff were also accommodating in helping passengers with special needs or questions about baggage. ⸻ 🍽️ Food & Shopping The airport offers a small but reasonable selection of food options. Local Cambodian cuisine is available at a few kiosks, along with international choices like Burger King and Coffee Club. Prices are a bit high for Cambodia but still lower than most Western airports. Shops: Duty-free selections include liquor, perfumes, cosmetics, and local souvenirs. There are also small convenience stores where you can buy travel essentials, snacks, and bottled water. While not a shopping destination, it covers the basics for travelers. ⸻ 🧳 Facilities & Convenience Wi-Fi is free and easy to connect, though speed can be inconsistent. Charging ports are available but limited, so finding one might take a bit of effort during peak hours. There are no lounges operated by the airport itself, but several airline-affiliated lounges are accessible with business class tickets or lounge passes. ⸻ 💰 Pricing & Value Given its size, Phnom Penh International Airport delivers decent value. There are no surprise fees or hidden charges, and overall pricing—while slightly marked up—is acceptable by international standards
최낙훈 — Google review
It's an international airport but very small. Nothing attractive for tourists. There are essential facilities only, not like entertainment. However, a good point is always less people and no need to wait for immigration.
Yum T — Google review
My flight layover here for about 5 hours, but I needed to pay for a visa to stay, which was very unfriendly. In addition, the surrounding restaurants only accepted cash, and I couldn't find a place that accepted credit cards. I had to eat in the airport, but that was very expensive. A very bad transit experience.

Onederz Phnom Penh is a contemporary hostel located in the bustling heart of Phnom Penh, near the popular Night Market. It offers a laid-back atmosphere with a lounge and a rooftop terrace providing scenic river views. The hostel's central location allows easy access to major attractions, shops, and dining options, making it an ideal choice for travelers who prefer exploring on foot. Each room comes with free WiFi and private bathrooms, catering to both solo backpackers and those seeking more privacy.
I stayed in a dorm. It was clean and peaceful. They have their own rooftop cafe which serves good food. I loved their fresh spring rolls which I had multiple times. The staff is polite and respectful. They also have nicely maintained swimming pool. Overall, it is worth the money..
Aayush A — Google review
I would just have recommended them when they provided hairdryers in the bathroom areas. The hostel is super clean and well designed, good value for price paid. The highlight is definitely the night view on the rooftop. Location is good, they have plenty of co-working space for digital nomads or just whoever needs them One thing that would have been better is if the room entry aka the shoe storage area did smell better (it’s rainy season so it did smell like smelly shoes a little)
Julianne C — Google review
Booked a private room and was pleasantly surprised. Room (and premises in general (can’t speak for the dorms as I have not seen them) was clean and comfortable. The staff’s level of English is also excellent, which is a huge plus for non-native travellers. They offer everything “in-house” so there is not much need to figure things out for yourself. The convenience does however come at a cost and they did not mediate (as expected from an agent) when disputes arose with one of the service providers. Their kitchen also produced flavourful food at only a slightly higher price than the surrounding restaurants, so we ate most of our meals there. Nothing was terrible.

Amazing stay at Onederz Phnom Penh! 🌇 The rooftop view is incredible, perfect for watching the view over the river. The staff are super attentive and always smiling. I originally booked just one night here, but it was so comfortable that I ended up extending for another four days with a friend. The location is great — very central but surprisingly quiet. From the balcony, you can look out at the pretty street lights, and it almost feels like being in Europe. Check-in was quick and easy, and booking was simple. I really loved the room — spacious, cozy, and perfect for a longer stay. Overall, such a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely come back again. Would book this place again if i ever come back!

The hotel staff is wonderful and very courteous – everyone here is smiling and happy to help. They even gave me a late check-out, so in terms of service, everything was excellent. I received a large and spacious room, but unfortunately the walls were dirty, the sheets and towels were stained, and the sink was clogged. Additionally, there’s nothing to do in the area around the hotel
דודו ע — Google review
Overall, it’s an okay place to stay. The air conditioning works well, and it's situated in a quiet, residential area surrounded by private businesses—though that means it's not very close to the palace or local food stalls. The biggest drawback is the bathroom: the shower isn’t properly sealed and can flood if you’re not careful. Also, the breakfast buffet is underwhelming, offering far fewer options compared to other hotels nearby.
Vy — Google review
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Genuinely some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met at a hotel. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The room itself was spotless and cozy, with a super comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. The shower had fantastic water pressure — such a small detail, but it really made a difference after long days out exploring the city. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained and immaculately clean. What stood out most was how homey it felt. Despite being in the heart of Phnom Penh, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing — like a home away from home. I genuinely looked forward to coming back to my room each evening. The daily breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of variety, and the rooftop infinity pool was simply stunning — the perfect place to relax with an amazing view over the city. Honestly, I couldn’t fault this place. It had everything I needed and more — warm hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, and great facilities. It really did feel like a home away from home. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

All right. Yesterday there was a welcoming welcome at reception where upon I immediately got upgraded to an apartment one-bedroom apartment which was clean and has everything you need also downstairs. From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The room was bright, spacious, and spotless, with plenty of natural light and a comfortable bed. Housekeeping came by every day with fresh towels and kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. It really made a difference coming back to such a clean and tidy space after a day out. The rooftop pool and bar area were the highlight for us clean, modern, and perfect for relaxing in the sun witha cocktail. The views were incredible, and the atmosphere was always lively but never overcrowded. Breakfast every morning was fresh and tasty, We'l definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone we know!

I had an amazing 5-day stay here over Thanksgiving weekend and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, culture, and charm! The hotel's calming look and ambiance, as seen in photos on its website and travel sites, immediately won me over and convinced me to book. However, experiencing it in person was even more amazing—the enchanting facade, the refreshing scent as you step into the lobby, and the overall thoughtful design of both the interiors and exteriors. What made the stay extra special was the mindful use of local products. From the coffee, tea, sugar, and toiletries in the room to the breakfast menu, everything felt deeply connected to the local culture and community. The rooftop was a definite highlight! The pool area, with its serene backdrop of trees from the Royal Palace block, was incredibly calming. And the views? Stunning! I loved the blend of temples and low-rise structures contrasting beautifully with the skyline of the Koh Pich area. The hotel’s location was another win—situated on a peaceful block yet conveniently close to a posh stretch of boutique shops and cozy cafes. It felt like a hidden gem, perfect for relaxation but still close enough to explore.

It’s in a pretty good location too- not too far from everything in the main city and is around the corner from a Big C My only complaint is the hotel is dirty!! You can tell it hasn’t been dusted in a long time and there is a grimy element to it… it took some getting used to. Luckily the bedsheets and towels were always clean and smelled good :)

The hotel was affordable and in a great location. Very easy to walk to the Grand Palace and other areas, decent free breakfast. Pool area looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. Staff was nice and helpful, though communication was difficult at times. The rooms are very basic. They need a deep clean, paint job, and upgrade. It was clean enough, but definitely not a place I felt completely comfortable.

This is the second time Ihave stayed at the Blue lime, the first was in 2016. I still loved it just as much. its a gorgeous little oasis in the middle of Phnom Phen. Absolutely great location and the pool is so lovely to come back to and the staff are fantastic. You will see some of the reviews say the rooms need improvement. My room was clean and very comfortable. Yes there are defintely signs of wear and tear and a few mainteance things that need doing. But I was travelling on my own and felt really comfortable there. I would stay again for sure.

Super bad experience, not recommended to stay. The room air conditioner is not cold and the ceiling fan has a lot of dust. There is a smell of feces and smoke from the street outside the room. At last but not least surrounding many mosquitoes unable to sleep well. Kindly do more improvement cleaning on it. In addition, when I was sleeping, I heard strange noises, as if there were spiritual objects in the room, which was very scary. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 and had to leave the hell. Not recommended to live in this hotel.

This hotel needs some love. We were eaten by mosquitoes all day, there was litter next to the pool, the pool was not clean, neither the rooms. For older people the stairs could be a challenge, especially with no help with the luggage. Also, we had no running water and the hotel failed to address the issue after 10 hours…We left and moved to the Onederz Hostel instead for half the price.

Perfect location for temple, museum, walking distance to night market etc. Service: Simple as we didn't ask for anything except check in, to which they said the room wasn't ready Room: big room but not great, there is a leak on the roof or from the room above and damp coming all down the side of the room and clearly smell it. Also towels do not seem clean. We should've changed room really but being English, polite and bolt here for 2 days. Do not be fooled by the pictures. Never went in the pool so can't comment.

We stayed in Blue Lime in November 2022. Unfortunately the charm of the pictures we'd seen on the internet was before Covid.. Since then, the quality of the place has decreased. Staff was friendly, breakfast was decent, but the rooms were not clean and unfortunately we didn't have running water. The pool area was also not clean and I wasn't feeling comfortable at all. We canceled after the first night and moved to another hotel instead.

The Kabiki is a charming family-focused hotel located in a secure gated lane, offering cozy and reasonably priced deluxe family rooms within walking distance of popular attractions. The hotel features fragrant gardens with labeled trees, including frangipani, fig, tamarind, coconut, banana, and sugar palms. Guests can enjoy the poolside cafe and two swimming pools, one of which is shallow for toddlers.
Forest Hotel in the City Center, Just Behind PM’s Residence. My wife and I were so surprised of this awesome forest garden living hotel within the city. The entrance to the hotel is a bit tricky as there is a military base nearby, but once you cross the entrance, you will be amazed by the lush green forest like and peaceful living. You will feel the very nature like in an actual forest. It’s very quiet, peaceful, and a complete isolate from the city within the city. The staff there were very warm welcome and friendly. Without asking, they even asked to take photos for us, beautifully. This hotel also provides a boat ride in front of Royal Place, twice a day (5pm-7pm and 7pm-9pm). This is definitely a getaway from the hustle and bustle of a city and away from the tourists group. There was a bit of noise distraction due to some building works during our stay. I hope they will finish the work soon.

Great hotel. On a private road. Quiet with nice gardens and lots of shade. The ground floor rooms even have their own courtyard. Our room was very large and clean. Staff typical for Cambodia - friendly and helpful.

The location is impeccable. The staff are nice. There is security outside (I am honestly not sure there needs to be so much security in the heart of the city). The rooms are luxurious. The pool is clean. A truly fantastic experience here!

Very good hotel, not sure if we can find the same quality for that price in Phnom Penh. The place is full of vegetation (trees and plants...), singing birds, and my room was simple and comfortable... The food is good and people very smiling ready to serve you...I enjoyed especially the breakfast, fresh fruit juices, lentils salad... The swimming pool is simple and beautiful. The street of the hotel has almost no car traffic...An unreal haven of peace in a crowded Phnom Penh :)

Can be challenging to find as it is tucked away in a well guarded area of town. Beautiful grounds but if you are allergic to cats (as my son is) the rooms are beautiful as the photos show. Our kids liked the novelty of bunk beds but keep the curtain wall open or they won't have the benefit of the aircon. However, my son was disappointed to stay in the room (because of the free range cats) and the tv was not working. The wading pool for toddlers is very clean. I wish I could say the same for the larger pool. Hopefully they are training their maintenance for algae issues. We did not eat at the restaurant but were greeted with a nice refreshment prior to being shown to our room.

Excellent hotel on a private street in the city. Very quiet with a beautiful pool and bar/restaurant area. The room was very well appointed. The staff were helpful. Excellent location in the heart of the city. Very highly recommended!

Booked the junior suite JUNGLOO. Dont make the same mistake. It is like a covered container next to the pool. Sold as sound proof, it is absolutely a nightmare both at day and night: cat screaming and fighting, loud birds, tuk tuk coming and going, all the sounds from the pool right in your ears including spashes and monkey kids screaming. The private room pool looks like a dump, filthy and never clean. You would not dare to touch it with a stick. Room is decent and clean, staff is nice but speaking a cryptical english. Breakfast is 6 dollars and very magre. I got up hungry and had to eat again after an hour. Position is good and next to the prime minister house so very safe. Freezer selection is champagne, wine, soft drinks and gummy bears, quite a curious combination.

Best pool place ever! Great offer, pool 5$ (and its really cheap) And if you will buy food - pool will be for free!💪😍 Its like real calm, peaceful place in the middle of dusty, noisy city! 🥰🥰 I live in another hotel, thats why I can judge only resting area, and i totally love it! 😍
