Just had my yee sang from this place and it is the best so far, the ingredients is quite fresh with a lot of meat. They also have the staff who will come and read all the instruction and wishing. A nice Yee sang place in Phnom Penh for this upcoming CNY.

Emperors of China, definitely different from the inexpensive Dimsum Emperor brand (Although the same group). Classic example of the not so good misidentification of brands. This place is always packed with locals and not too many Chinese from what I see. Drawings of old emperor like people.Duck noodle soup for 4.9usd+ had weak and boring broth, a bit soft noodles. Duck was pretty fatty but cooked ok, and the black sauce was done nicely. 4pcs of Xia Long Bao for 3.9+ usd was freshly and not over cooked, skin was not too thick (ideally thinner) and had a good bounce, juicy but pretty much MSG. Attentive service, trying to pour the uninformed 0.5usd+ tea up to the rim whenever they have any chance.
one of the worst tasting chinese restaurants i’ve eaten in a while i’m not sure why they have 4 stars as the food was so bland and did not taste authentic at all . wonton soup seemed to have very little salt the ha cao did not taste fresh . the sour soup had a weird taste that is not the usual hot and sour soup from other chinese restaurants the shrimp dumplings were bland . the shrimp rolls were too salty with no sweetness to it like other dimsum places overall not worth the $46 we paid for 2 people. i think the reviews of this place was mostly paid reviews. no way does it deserve 4 stars . the only thing that was good was the service of the waiter and waitress
Had lunch and enjoyed the Peking duck and the Xiao long Bao. Also recommended are the squid in hot plate and the service was really good.

Order girl they write and confirm with customer is the right but after take for ordering from machine it wrong they put into order on computer is forget put one item . So customer do not know just waiting and waiting after their partner eat all than they ask again staff come recheck see it forget so they go to make order again. Need a time for wait. Anyway it is ok all not perfect it need to improve. Thank you.
Went for soup and dim sum. Hot & sour soup was small portion and bland, for $4.50. (I put $ bill in photo for scale.) Dim sum offerings of the usual variety. Shu mai were large and succulent, the sweet sesame balls were probably the best I've had anywhere. They came out pleasantly warm and tender - obviously freshly made. Typical dim sum basket costs $3.80, so not inexpensive. Service charge added to the bill.
Redeeming moment when the manager (an older gentleman) asked me my impressions after the meal. He seemed genuinely interested, and told me the soup is made Cantonese style, that I could have ordered it more Szechuan style for more spice. Service was over the top attentive. The waitress filled my tea cup at least 5 times.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dim sum experience in Phnom Penh, look no further than Dim Sum Emperors. I just wanted to share my experience at a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum and wonton noodle soup. I requested the soup to be served separately and added some chili sauce, which turned out to be a perfect combination. I didn't know it would work so well; it just a guess, hoping it might be similar to what I enjoy in Thailand. And voila, it was a perfect meal early in the morning while I was waiting for my flight to Thailand.

I guess these poor reviews have to do with the prices. Sure, it’s insanely expensive compared to food in Cambodia but that’s just airport standards.

A bit expensive but it’s this or burger king. We had a mix, the roast triple plate is great, bbq pork, duck and more pork! The Ciao Long Bao are worth a go and same with the steamed Cha Shan buns.
Tap beer was a bit flat, maybe grab food here then head to the Heineken place for a drink, that’s my plan.
All in all I’d say this place might be the pick of the bunch. Worth a visit!
The taste was distinctly different from the other branches. In particular, the taste of the minced pork noodles was completely different and sour, which I found strange. Also, other branches have a steamed dish of mushrooms, pork and rice wrapped in leaves, but not here. Unfortunately, even with a lounge card, which the official website states is unlimited, the number of menu items available is limited. Also, the sauces offered at other tables were not available. So I ate Tianjin without sauce. Instead of being able to use the airport lounge, we were allowed to eat here, but the restaurant was too hot and the air conditioning did not work. The restaurant here is especially disappointing. It is hardly a replacement for the lounge and needs to be improved. For an airport restaurant, the staff did not speak English. Other than that, it is a normal restaurant anywhere in Phnom Penh with no particular inconvenience.
I can’t really understand the poor reviews. Admittedly a bit pricey but so is all airport food. The dim sum we had was really tasty (better than most restaurants in the UK) and we were very happy.
Clean area, prompt service. BBQ and rice tastes very authentically Chinese. The taro bun tastes had real taro paste inside, and the bun itself is chewy and warm. Excellent!
Used the priority pass which states unlimited dimsum. The food was okay, but I wouldn’t pay to eat here. Unfortunately they didn’t have half the menu available (like congee and noodle dishes).
One of the worst Dim Sum I've ever eaten. Many Customer left food uneaten. My food was cold. And the worst is the staffs attitude. Never again ill eat here.

Every dish we ordered was spot on, and I especially loved their longan-flavored ice cream—so unique and refreshing! They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert set, which was a lovely touch. The prices are well justified by the quality of both the food and service. Overall, it was a wonderful fine dining experience with a special Khmer flair.

Local Cambodian flavors some spicy, some not so but nonetheless unique to this country. My favorites were the warm scallop with green peppercorn and organic roasted chicken which was full of flavor and aromatic. The mango chicken salad was also nice but I would skip that vegetable curry (a bit on the bland side). Would I come back here again? Definitely.
We didn't expect for a fine dining restaurant in PP. I was just looking at the best restaurant that serves fish amok. Then we stumble the best restaurant in PP I guess as it was visited by Jackie Chan, Gordon Ramsay, Justin Trudeau and other dignitaries.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant, and it’s become a MUST each time we come to Phnom Penh! The service was excellent, just like before. We absolutely love their homemade sauce, and they even offered it to us for free—seriously, they should sell it! The food is consistently great, and this time we had the pleasure of trying their crème brûlée. It was exceptional! The pinch of local spice they added made it truly unique and delicious. Definitely going to come back again!
I have to say, this is the most disappointing meal I’ve had in Phnom Penh. Are you kidding me? You call this a “set menu”? I was expecting a proper tasting experience, but the whole thing was basically just a very simple lunch set. Price-wise, it makes no sense at all.
The food was not the worst, but clearly not made with any care. Even street food tastes better. The salad had nothing but sourness, the soup was just okay, and the main course was a complete disaster—no creativity, nothing special. Even the fruit wasn’t sliced properly. And they charge $35 for this? It’s worth maybe $5 at best.
As for the environment, I arrived around 1:40 pm and the first-floor outdoor area was a mess. Staff were walking back and forth moving decorations—do you really need to do that while guests are eating? The worst part was at the end. When I shared my disappointment, instead of apologizing, they handed me a QR code to register for their group’s app, just so I could get a 10% discount. I said I didn’t want to register, and the staff immediately gave me a black face. The discount didn’t feel sincere at all—there was no apology whatsoever.
I honestly don’t understand the restaurant’s reputation. To me, it’s not worth it at all.
If you want good food—don’t go. Good service—don’t go. Good vibes—don’t go.
One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Cambodia! It serves authentic Khmer food with unforgettable flavors. Every dish was perfectly made, rich in taste, and full of traditional vibes. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The place itself was clean, well-designed, and truly reflected Cambodian culture.

If you’ve ever been out in Bassac Lane a little too late (and maybe a little tipsy 🍻), Ma Ma Wong is the perfect place to end the night. It’s got that Hong Kong street food vibe — simple, flavorful, and hits the spot every time.
🥢 The food?
• Shrimp dumplings – my absolute favorite here. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly steamed.
• Rice noodles – light, comforting, and great with a bit of chili oil.
• Lamb or beef – both are tasty, but the lamb has a special richness I love.
Honestly, just thinking about it now is making me hungry again.
💵 The price? Surprisingly reasonable for being right in the middle of everything. Last time, for two people, we had two types of dumplings + four beers and spent $18 total.
🌆 The vibe?
The location on Street 308 is perfect. I love sitting outside on the roadside, catching bits of music from nearby bars, people-watching, and just enjoying my food. It’s casual, cozy, and exactly what you want after a night out.
✅ Open late, but they serve during the day too if you can’t wait until evening.

I tried Mama Wong recently and overall it was pretty good. The beef noodle soup was tasty — the broth had nice flavor and the beef was soft and easy to eat. The stir-fried noodles were also solid, well-seasoned and satisfying.
As for the dumplings, I didn’t really enjoy them. Maybe it’s just personal taste, but they didn’t stand out to me.
If you’re into noodles, this place is worth checking out.
We shared several dishes at this restaurant. We did not like any of them. The pastry on the chicken satay dumplings was far too thick. The salt and pepper squid was rubbery. The pork and prawn dumplings were tasteless and the "large" plate of Peking duck rolls was presented as a paltry serve. Extremely disappointed after previous good reviews.There were 2 other people dining and we had to call downstairs to ask for our bill. It was also overpriced.
Our second visit here. We had two different kinds of dumplings. They were fantastic. But we also highly recommend to taste the Crème Brulée as a desert. It is the most delicious Crème Brulée I‘ve ever tasted! Thank you for this unforgettable culinary experience!

Well located but not the best dumplings I’ve had - just ok food, definitely had better. The dumplings were al dente and not the usual juicy and melt in your mouth dumplings I eat regularly living and travelling across Asia. The sliders were ok! The bun too much bread to the filling ratio and the friend chicken slider, I couldn’t bite into it - over cooked maybe! Bit odd. Nothing to rave about but nice to people-watch with a beer. The person who served me was nice but looked annoyed when I asked for an extra bowl for chilli oil - it was quiet so not busy. Maybe I stumbled across the wrong time as it came recommended. Heard good things about the noodles but they had sold/ran out other than the duck noodles.

Came here for dim sum with friends a couple of times. Dim Sum dishes were great, fresh and tasty, tea’s a bit bland. Good place to hang out with friends and slow eating.
My friend tried the chicken rice and it was good. My pork mince/century egg porridge was lovely too. Not the cheapest in town but acceptable for occasional morning pig out. Staff can be a bit slow in service but all very friendly and courteous.
They serve really good Chinese food. There's lots of dimsum choices, but only available till early afternoon.
The menu offers a wide selection of Chinese dishes, but if you like western food or Japanese, they can also serve from the other restaurants at Almond Hotel.
There's lots of spaces for groups, they have small function rooms too.
Yisang restaurant is a favourite breakfast for Cambodian families, so it's a bit difficult to find parking space on mornings.
They have good service from friendly staff.
Yi Sang Restaurant-Sothearos. Long standing Chinese restaurant with good style. Due to the significant price increase, Kuyteav or other noodles are at 6.00 to 7.00usd, but quality remains the same from when the price was below 5usd. Ok, for going for the ambience, but too expensive taste wise esp for breakfast noodles.
Come here if you want a 2 star experience at 5 star pricing.

seafood broth (single portion) at US$12, crab meat fried rice at US$11.5 etc, which is definitely par for the course for higher end restaurants in Phnom Penh. All in all, it’s about US$100+ for two of us.
2 star experience:
Ordered two soups (single portions), two mains (crab meat toufu and sweet and sour pork) and one fried rice.
The Chinese lady taking our order was impatient despite the empty restaurant. Also has a scowl on her face.
Sequence of food serving is wrong: They serve one soup to my gf and one main on the table. Then the fried rice came, WHILE my soup and the other main is still pending.
The right order should be serve both soups, then the two mains, and fried rice at the end.
The waitress is also not sure which soup she is serving so she left it in the middle of the table.
The crab meat toufu taste of yellow butter which is not something I have came across before.
The menu is also tattered and have paper taped across dishes no longer available.
Overall: I would say the food is definitely passable (the sweet and sour pork is one of the best I had in Phnom Penh) but at this elevated pricing and bad service, there’s plenty of better options in this town.
Nice clean Chinese restaurant. We went to try the dim sum and roast meet. Haven’t had roast goose for long while but was not happy with it. Had far too much oil under the skin which also was not crispy. Other dim sum dishes were so so but roast pork and char siew was good. Service by Cantonese speaking people were ok.
This Chinese restaurant in the hotel provides dimsum and other Chinese dishes in a comfortable environment. The food was okay (average taste comparing with the "real" dimsum in Guangdong or Hongkong) but service was a bit slow. Price is a bit higher than the restaurants in China.

The ochre-colored art-deco building, dating back to 1937, houses a bustling street food scene and a variety of stalls selling everything from fresh seafood and poultry to fruits, clothing, souvenirs, flowers, and household items. Visitors can also explore shops offering more upscale items like watches and jewelry.
Nice market selling everything from food to homewares and tourist tat. Needed a glasses case, a new holdall and super glue and found it all here. Stall holders will point you in the right direction if they don't have it. Lovely building and not as hog as other markets

Probably the most iconic market in Phnom penh. If you ask me, id say it a must come. Theres so many things to see and buy. Souvenirs, shirts bags watches, even their currency. You can easily spend an hour here walking.
Went here to do last minute shopping. The market is big, clean, organized and not confusing. The environment is not hot as other markets in this town. There are a lot of items available from souvenir, shirts, watch, food, hair service, tailor and so on. The price here can be bargained, the seller is friendly and kind. Shootout to this one booth that sells souvenir for giving me a mega discount. For those who want to come shopping here please stop by her shop D-033, she is very nice and kind. Can speak Malay as well. Guarantee you a satisfying shopping experience.
This crispy baby prawns with pepper lime sauce are seriously really amazing. You can find them on the wet market side. The bread stall across from the Hakse phone shop is my go-to every time I visit. Pairing it all with a refreshing sugar cane juice or coconut juice is a must.
A busy and vibrant market selling all kinds of knick knacks, food, clothes, daily necessities, religious artifacts and even local titbits such as deep fried spiders, scorpions and insect pupae. Interesting place to visit, easy to spend hours browsing at the mind-boggling array of products
It's got to be done !! Just keep heading back to the centre if you feel you're losing track of where you are !! A real cultural shock on arrival if you've not had one of these 'experiences ' previously !! Great, diverse stalls, from fruit and veg, to underwear, to fresh fish, meat, souvenirs and anything inbetween !! Try some bartering, try fresh coconut and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere. There's very little hard sell, the Cambodian marketeers want to make a living, but they're certainly not too pushy or rude, quite the opposite.

Best Chinese food in town. They have many VIP rooms for family dinners or lunches. The food is excellent, though a bit pricey. Service is good, and there’s a large parking area.

We was looking for Dim Sum and we stumbled upon this place at U mall. The place was quiet, clean, and cozy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We ordered through the paper menu which was cool. We ordered , steamed sponge cake, crispy balls with bbq pork, deep fried prawns dumplings, siewmai, and their laksa curry soup. They were a bit stingy with the bbq pork balls, but it made up for the taste.
Their food was delicious everything was on point, the sponge cake was soft and moist, the soup was flavorful and savory, the rice rolls was 🔥
The food from TK Avenue ，in P P Airport, Siem Reap Airport was really bad, so I quit the brand. But it tasted great when I had it at U Mall today.

А тут, после работы, сидя дома, захотелось именно Дим Самов. Выбор пал на Императорские.
Большой и интересный выбор блюд.
Быстрая доставка. Все очень свежее, а главное вкусное! Съел в удовольствие. Прекрасное соотношение цена/качество.
Минус в том, что при доставке упаковка супов не идеальна. Рекомендую использовать пищевую пленку а затем крышку.

I truly resonate with the concept behind Thalias Group. Their restaurants, Topaz (upscale) and Khema (casual, though still luxurious), hold a special place in my heart, and I absolutely love both of them. Once again, this visit exceeded my expectations and proved to be an exceptional experience.
First and foremost, I was impressed by the peaceful atmosphere of the restaurant. The space was sophisticated yet calming, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The quality of service was equally remarkable, with the staff displaying thoughtful attention to every detail, making me feel truly cared for and comfortable throughout the meal. The level of service here is truly a key part of what makes this restaurant stand out.
The food, as always, was of the highest quality. Each dish was prepared with precision, offering fresh and flavorful ingredients. The wine selection, too, was expertly chosen, pairing wonderfully with the dishes and enhancing the entire meal. The attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience is what makes it so enriching and enjoyable.

But all the dishes were too salty to me. The worst thing was that bugs kept flying around my table and some were stuck to my wine glass. It was very unpleasant and I can't believe that how such a fine dining restaurant is unsanitary.
Haute couture of French Gastronomie. You can’t go wrong with TOPAZ. Epitome Epicurean food, service, wine, atmosphere. Manicure service and food the ultimate place while in Phnom Penh. They went out of their call of duty to make sure I could get my Grand Marnier Soufflée a signature dish (not on the menu anymore unfortunately) thanks to the Chef for that very much appreciated and made my evening. Fortune Palace. Been a while since I came here. MSG in shrimp sauce and soy sauce. Fish maw soup for 12 usd had good broth and pleasant texture from the Cordyceps mushroom. Shrimp dumpling for 6 usd had a melting messy skin not worth eating. Golden shell crab for 28usd was executed nicely with good balance of saltiness and umami from salted egg yolk. Mixed feeling about this place. Maybe best to avoid the dim sums.

This place is probably the worst value on Riverside. It also has the cheek to add a 5% service charge, which is not worth the money. I asked for salt on two occasions and gave up. This is the second time in two recent attempts to eat there and was bitterly disappointed each time. I am not going to bother again. They might have been one of the best of a bad bunch 5 years ago, but that has changed and there are so many better choices now.

But the other dishes we had were also very good. The kids enjoyed the mini burgers and the 5 cheeses were absolutely delicious too. The rice bowl dishes are poorly enough prepared and largely just a bowl of rice.
They try to pass the hong kong style rice dish off as duck with rice.. they just cut up a duck leg. So I just got 80% bone and 20% meet. Very disappointing.

I’ve been here quite a few times, and ordered food delivery one time before. Staffs were not friendly and couldn’t communicate in English well.
But the food was really great. I’d recommend the chicken curry. The curry is rich and creamy. It feels like a warm hug. I don’t understand why they served it with a huge bowl of rice though. Seems disproportionate to the amount of chicken curry.
One important thing to note, they allow customers to smoke indoors. Which can be a suffocating dining experience.

I would not recommend going in the morning the food was slow wait almost 30-40 minute just for a bowl of noodle and wait again for my go to order. And l once got a pink chicken in some certain part.
The rice is delicious. I ordered rice with pork and duck. Pork is better. I would like to give 5 star for the hospitality of the staff. I was confused when i paid with dollar and Riel ( as I didn’t have enough small notes). I paid more than the actual cost but they returned it. I ordered water but they provide ice tea which was free. I haven’t seen such kind of good hospitality nowadays.
Had the beef noodle with brisket. I really don't understand why they don't serve this dish with either wheat noodles or at least flat rice noodles. They only had this thin rice noodle which is not authentic at all.
The soup and meat however tasted great. If they just used normal noodles it would be a great dish. The rice noodles I got were not fresh either since they were hard, almost like they've been in a fridge.
I also tried their "Bolo" or "pineapple bun with butter". It tasted OK but 3.5 USD for that is not acceptable. I had much better Bolo from 7/11 in Taiwan for about 1 USD.
Please use another type of noodle and either lower the price of the "Bolo", or just don't sell it.

A great place for family gatherings. Their Peking duck is the best item on the menu, or perhaps it is their signature dish. I like their crispy pan-fried tofu and mapo tofu. Some other dishes are a bit saltier compared to the previous times I have dined there. I have been going to this restaurant for years, and I think they should do some cleaning.
A friend of ours invited us here for his daughter’s birthday which was very well decorated but I think that was his part. The food was so slow to come and as soon as it hit the table was lukewarm at best and lacked the strong flavor I would have expected from Chinese cuisine. The only reason I gave it a 3 was one star that they had a playground area for family groups and the venue was too dirty for another start. The last star was for the food which was eatable but was disappointing which which wasn’t my friends fault just the restaurant pushing for buffet style I guess. Parking was a challenge.

Excellent Chinese food here at a reasonable price for it's quality. The "big-headed prawns" are exceptional, and so is the roast beef. Pleasantly surprised when we were served complimentary salted egg yolk custard buns for dessert after our meal.
The food served are quite delicious and tastefully cooked. There are also variety of choice of foods. You need to ask for some recommendation on the food or choice of cooking if you are new. Price wise is moderate depending on your quality of food ordered.

After Soul Asia Massage we were sent by chauffeur to Old Place Seafood. Seems famous restaurant as many diners inside. We ordered special Soup with Abalone, Siew Yoke and Vegetable. The soup is alright except the abalone is of lower grade quality. Probably price play a part of it, anyway all charges are in USD basis when one is foreigner visiting Phnom Penh.

Romdeng Restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored French building and is renowned for its traditional Khmer cuisine as well as modern Cambodian dishes. I discovered this restaurant through the friendly hotel staff at Caravan Hotel. The locals know the best Khmer food places and this is one of them right nearby the hotel. As a Khmer person, this was the best place I’ve ordered delivery from and dined in! Everything is clean and well served both for dining in person or ordering online. The flavors are very authentic and all very delicious, I’ve returned many times during my stay and the prices are extremely affordable. We spend less than $15 for a dinner for 2, and that’s including drinks! However, one of my favorite dishes, the grilled pork chops with rice and eggs, is only served during breakfast.

I’ve visited Romdeng twice and the standout dish for me is definitely the grilled fermented fish—absolutely delicious when paired with plain rice. The grilled pork ribs are also tasty, and the traditional Khmer soup adds a nice touch of authenticity. The restaurant is spacious and well-decorated, though I found the staff not particularly friendly or engaging. Still, worth a visit for the food!
Came here because it was near our hotel, and food was good! Had the fish amok, loklok and a salad with pork belly. The salad had some bitter veg leaves in it (intentional) with a flavor akin to Thai/vietnamese. Overall a nice easy place for lunch, and we filled our bellies full enough for a nap!
