Nestled in the vibrant new city quarter, Clayton Hotel Cambridge offers chic rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The elegant marble bar at the sophisticated restaurant adds a touch of luxury to your dining experience. Conveniently located just a short walk from the town center and close to the train station, it's an ideal base for exploring Cambridge.
A fantastic hotel. Very convenient location by the train station and walking distance to the city centre. The rooms are very large and the bed is massive and like sleeping on a cloud! The whole place is beautifully decorated and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

BEST BED EVER! Me and my husband both thought the hotel was amazing. The room was a good size, clean, comfortable, well decorated and had everything that we needed for our stay. The gentleman that welcomed us on reception was friendly and very helpful. The dining staff were also lovely and food was nice. If we visit Cambridge again we will 100% use this hotel again. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable. The bed was honestly the best bed we have ever slept in!
Amy B — Google review
Spacious room with balcony and by far the most comfortable bed I have slept on. Easy access to the train station and walking distance to the city center. The staff are professional and friendly, too many to name personally but a special thank you to our barman Yuki who made the best vodka martini and kept his calm whilst being berated by some horrible customers. Clayton hotel be proud of this young man. The sliding bathroom door needs to be addressed as it kept sliding open.
Pauline S — Google review
A truly modern and friendly hotel in an ideal location close to the station. The lobby is especially welcoming, featuring a fireplace, comfortable chairs, and antique books—it feels genuinely cozy. The Executive King Room on the 6th floor was lovely. It featured thick carpeting, an extremely comfortable bed, and high-quality linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The view over the new part of Cambridge, stretching out to distant fields and hills, was a nice touch. The spacious bathroom offered a large shower with excellent water pressure and consistent temperature. The English breakfast is high quality. I particularly liked the flexibility to order eggs exactly as desired (omelets, poached, etc.). The entire staff was consistently friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning here.

Wonderful stay at the Clayton Hotel in Cambridge. All the staff were very professional and helpful. The Room was perfect in every way. We did dine at the restaurant in the evening, shout out to the chef for a wonderful meal. We WILL definitely return.
Nikki R — Google review
We had a wonderful 3 day stay in this hotel. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities were good and everywhere was nice, clean and tidy. We had a king room with balcony which was great and the views fantastic. The hotel is conveniently close to the railway station making it easy to walk to with luggage and only a 20 minute walk into the city centre.

My boyfriend made a surprise and the room was covered with flowers, the service is very kindly. We had dinner at the hotel and was simply amazing! I took the pork belly and was so soft and tasty!

Lovely, clean and modern hotel. Great location and a huge bed. Great to be able to connect our fire stick to the TV as well and keep our Netflix binge up while we were away!

University Arms Hotel, Autograph Collection is a refined establishment that offers spacious rooms adorned with Edwardian style. The hotel features a bar, restaurant, and gym. Situated near Parkers Piece, it has a traditional upscale ambiance in the lobby and dining area with picturesque views.
We spent 8 nights at the University Arms from July 27 to Aug 4. Overall, we had a great time. We had a room with park-view without terrace. Upon arrival, we got a bowl of fruits as a thank-you for our rather long stay. The only two issues we encountered during our stay were: - No shower curtain so water spilled onto the floor, requiring a lot of towels to keep the floor dry - Light/lamp next to the door was flashing from time-to-time; it will likely blow soon so it would need replacement
Bo-Shiun L — Google review
Returned to Cambridge for the weekend and stayed once again at the University Arms. It was just as special as I remembered. The building is full of charm, and the interiors are elegant and inviting, with every detail carefully considered. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. We booked a Superior Park View Room, and it was absolutely worth it. Spacious, peaceful, and overlooking Parker’s Piece, it felt like a proper escape. Everything we needed was in place, and the small touches throughout made the stay feel effortless. The service was excellent from start to finish. Margherita was helpful and efficient during the booking, and Lucia and Ana gave us a warm and friendly welcome at check-in. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight. The food was delicious, and the setting relaxed, but what stood out most was the service. Mariana looked after us both mornings with such care and kindness. She made the start of each day feel genuinely special. You can tell Philip, the new GM, is making a real difference. There’s a quiet confidence in how everything runs, and a real sense of pride across the team. Already looking forward to coming back.

August 2025 was my 2nd time at this hotel. I really enjoy coming here. The location is in city center and just minutes from the shopping and market areas but in the midst of some of the colleges. The facade of the hotel is stunning. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. Receptionists and concierge are considerate. I would certainly come back. This hotel is good for a solo traveler or families. The breakfast server, Bianca, is excellent. She recalls your dietary or preferences from day to day for breakfast. Pleasant and efficient. It was a very good stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the University Arms Hotel in Cambridge. Fleur and Jody (both working at the reception of this hotel) were really helpful, offering excellent personal service and sharing great tips that helped us get to know the city better. Their friendly approach made our visit even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend the University Arms Hotel to anyone visiting Cambridge.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this Marriott was so shockingly bad that I feel others deserve to be warned. reception manager was rude, racist, dismissive, and with arrogant attitude. When the receptionist was kindly checking availability for me, this manager barged in, cut her off mid-sentence, and snapped at me — without even looking at the system — “your room is not ready.” No greeting, no explanation, no apology. Then she walked away like I wasn’t worth her time. That is not “misunderstood tone,” that is sheer unprofessionalism. And ten minutes later, when few white male guest enters the reception, she is suddenly polite and offered them room immediately, even though they arrive later then me. To make matters worse, the room I was eventually given had filthy, stained carpets and visible mould damage. I attached photos in my complaint — the stains were large, disgusting, and absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that dares to brand itself as “luxury.” Hygiene clearly isn’t a priority here. When I complain there is a mould place in my room, the hotel said is just a water leaking damage, is not mould, you are fine to stay in. So that’s how they work now? Is ok to put your guest in a water leaking room as long as is not mould. And what was Marriott’s solution? Instead of accountability, they gave excuses. Let me be clear: the front desk receptionist, cleaning team, and restaurant staff were polite and professional. They do their jobs well. But the management culture here is rotten — and that matters more than anything. A hotel where management treats paying guests with contempt cannot be trusted. If you value respect, professionalism, and basic hygiene, stay anywhere else.

A huge thank you to University Arms Hotel Cambridge for an unforgettable stay. ✨ The service, hospitality, and attention to detail were truly first-class. What makes it even more special is their generous support for the Pink Duck Race and the fight against breast cancer 💗🦆. It’s inspiring to see such a prestigious hotel stand behind a cause that means so much. Grateful for the partnership and already looking forward to returning! #PinkDuckRace #BreastCancerAwareness

Gorgeous hotel. Stayed in the terrace suite and loved the traditional design of the bathroom - so regal and elegant. The staff were fab and loved the fresh milk in the fridge. Great location, very clean room and so much space! Would stay here again.

Decided to treat ourselves and booked 5 nights for what should have been a relaxing break. We were offered room 137, a bleak and uninspiring room directly overlooking some scrap ground at the back of a Thia restaurant. The room had only a tiny wardrobe with no drawers or other storage facilities what so ever. Totally insufficient for 2 people for a 5 night stay. There was also no comfortable seating, no other furniture apart from a small desk and chair and no smart TV. We complained and were told we could have a better room the next day as the hotel was currently full. We hadn't realised at that point however just how awful the bed was! It was creaky and rock hard and felt like sleeping on a table top that dipped in the middle. No padding or spring at all. We had a terrible night's sleep and couldn't believe that a hotel of this supposed quality would expect guests to sleep on such an appalling structure. We both felt so disappointed and couldn't decide if the hotel had put us in this room as we are two women and they thought we wouldn't complain. We decided we couldn't stay any longer and told the front desk we wanted to check out. They even added an extra 10% as we had only stayed one night, which neither of us had the energy to argue about so we just paid and left. We called in at the Gonville hotel a short walk across the park. Josh the duty manager found us a lovely room with loads of storage, a huge, very comfortable bed, smart TV and a lovely view. He even included breakfast and a complimentary tour in their Bentley! All that and we saved £800 into the bargain. A complete no brainer!! I do need to add that the reception staff we spoke to at the University Arms were absolutely lovely and very helpful and reading their hotel reviews it appears others have a much better experience than us but this is a genuine review so be warned!!!

The hotel's Bistro du Vin is a highlight, featuring an inviting ambiance and serving classic dishes. Housed in a Grade II listed building, the hotel preserves its heritage while providing comfortable accommodations with custom-made beds, Egyptian cotton linen, and spacious bathrooms.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel DuVin and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth and hospitality. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly cozy, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional service I received from Kalpana who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, always with a smile and eager to assist with any requests. Whether it was offering local recommendations, ensuring my room was always pristine, or simply providing a welcoming presence, She made me feel right at home, such an asset. It's rare to experience service so genuine and thoughtful, and I truly appreciate the care and attention to detail that Kalpana provided. I will absolutely be recommending this hotel to everyone.

Our stay at Hotel Du Vin Cambridge was truly enjoyable. The team at the bar created a welcoming atmosphere that added to the experience. We would especially like to commend the girl ,,Kalpana at reception for her exceptional service and attention to detail, which made our visit seamless and memorable

The hotel itself is charming, with a perfect mix of modern amenities and historical character, all set in a beautiful location. What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the service. Kalpana, the manager, was simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, she went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed, offering helpful recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail and willingness to assist with anything, from restaurant reservations to local tips, really stood out. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated and professional, and Kalpana truly elevated the whole experience. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Cambridge, I highly recommend Du Vin. The combination of fantastic service, especially from Kalpana, and the lovely setting made my visit one I won't soon forget.

We had delicious dinner in Bistro du Vin and will be very happy to come back! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and made sure we’ve got everything we needed. We enjoyed delicious food and the nice intimate atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s similar style at the Ivy in city center but nicer and more quiet, perfect for a family dinner or romantic date.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. A special thank you to Kai and Kalpana for their warm welcome and excellent service throughout the stay. They were both professional, kind, and made everything feel effortless. Thanks again to the whole team – I’d definitely come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay at Hotel du Vin Cambridge was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Thanks to Kai, who went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. The room upgrade was a fantastic surprise, and the complimentary drink was a lovely touch—such a thoughtful gesture! The service was impeccable, and every detail was taken care of with professionalism and a smile. If you're looking for a cosy, elegant stay in Cambridge, this hotel is an absolute must. Thanks again, Kai! 🌟

Lovely hotel location and room decor. Restaurant food left a lot to be desired. From the taste of the food, and due to this being a chain, you can tell the food is brought in. My wife had the Bourguignon D'agneau, it was ridiculously salty. I noted this to the waitress, and was just told she would tell the chef. Location was great and staff hotel very helpful. I would avoid the restaurant though.
Jonathon W — Google review
The highlight of this hotel is the staff - absolute superhumans! So friendly and charismatic. Special thanks to Patrick in the Bistro/Bar and Kai on Reception - you're a pair of star-spangled bangers! During my midweek stay, I was kindly upgraded to a larger room with a beautiful roll-top bath, and also treated to a couple of complimentary cocktails, which helped make a birthday trip even more special. The excellent air conditioning was appreciated during a heatwave, and the bed was exceedingly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very generous (although there was some confusion about whether or not the cost was included in my booking). This hotel is superbly positioned, too; you're moments away from the fabulous Fitzwilliam Museum. As others have noted, this building is getting on a bit and showing a little wear and tear, although apart from the multiple spiderwebs that greeted me upon arrival in the shower which made me wonder how thoroughly the bathroom had been cleaned/how industrious Cambridge's arachnids are, I found the slight creakiness charming. It's worth being aware that the hot taps are HOT: I accidentally ran a bath that could have skinned me alive! Be careful with small children washing their hands. Overall, a gem of a spot. I would happily return.

The Varsity is a centrally-located boutique hotel in Cambridge, offering 48 uniquely designed rooms that celebrate the city's cultural heritage. The hotel overlooks the River Cam and provides easy access to tourist attractions like Kettles Yard gallery and Fitzbillies. Guests can enjoy the modern brasserie and rooftop terrace at SIX, which offers stunning views of the city along with delicious cocktails. The hotel also features a gym, spa, and valet parking near the River Cam.
What a stunning view of Cambridge from the rooftop bar. My friend who completed the booking thought he'd booked the rooftop bar but accidentally booked a table in Six the restaurant... we were later advised when we arrived that the rooftop bar does not take bookings so don't waste time looking to make one on the website. There's lots of seating/tables although it was fairly busy when we went. Lots of cocktails to choose from. Enjoy!
Sarah C — Google review
Sadly, the tablet in the room did not work, which otherwise would have been quite useful. HOWEVER, this slight glitch was more than counterbalanced by the excellent service we got in reception and the Six restaurant at breakfast. We had arrived early, but reception looked after out luggage and until it was time to check in. Their valet parking was quick and efficient. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with attentive and efficient service. The location is stunning, crowned by the views form the rooftop bar (bring a hat and sunglasses if its sunny though!).

It’s a central and nice hotel, offering comfy rooms, together with a lot of facilities including gym, spa! The rooms are clean and some of them look onto the street which is great. It’s located in a very nice spot, where you can walk the city. You can do punting by the river just 5 mins again. The hotel is clean, rooms are amazing, the rooftop restaurant & bar is amazing and the staff is so nice. There is a nice view on the rooftop restaurant. We went there for a tesm retreat, corporate event and they did their best to accommodate us amazingly. In means of pricing, it’s a bit pricey but reasonable compared to their quality service. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing stay at The Varisty. It’s perfect location, nearby all tourist attractions. Room was beautiful, very friendly and helpful staff. There’s a rooftop bar with great view of the city. Definitely visit the steakhouse if you’re a meat lover! Highly recommend!

We visited Cambridge for a little getaway from London and spent one night at The Varsity Hotel. It truly exceeded our expectations! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. The reception team was incredibly kind and helpful. We also had dinner at their steakhouse restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was 10/10 and the staff’s hospitality made it even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely recommend The Varsity Hotel to anyone visiting Cambridge!
Kristel V — Google review
Great location - but the Six restaurant is quite disappointing especially factoring in the prices. Our party had 2 duck, both were luke warm, side order chips were also cold. Pizzas were OK but no different than Wetherspoons - side order broccoli was very damp, likely cooked from frozen although I can’t be sure. 12.5% service charge is also added - makes for an expensive and underwhelming experience. Would recommend for just drinks on the roof top terrance but you can get better quality, much cheaper food elsewhere.

The room was lovely, with a spacious balcony that gave us a stunning view over Cambridge. However, they could do with some TLC and a freshen up. I could not fault the staff; they were absolutely fantastic throughout. Highly recommend.

The Gonville Hotel is a luxurious establishment housed in an 1830s property, offering elegant rooms, a refined restaurant, and a spa. Without a shadow of a doubt the best hotel to stay in when in Cambridge. We stayed here on the evening of our wedding and the staff were so helpful, efficient and friendly. They left us a complimentary bottle of fizz and a congratulations card. We have stayed many times since and have always had a wonderful stay.

We had a really lovely stay here. Loved the decor, the bed was extremely comfortable, the gardens lovely, and the bathroom spacious. The on-site parking was also a massive bonus. Location is excellent— very easy walking into the city center. Breakfast was also very good, with decent coffee. We stayed in one of the bigger King rooms in the other building because I really wanted a bath tub. I felt that the bathrooms could’ve been better cleaned: the tub needed a good scrub, and the shower spout had mold on it. My only other complaint is the additional charge for parking. For a hotel of this price, and given the amount of space they have, I think complimentary parking would be a really appreciated perk. But all in all, an excellent hotel with great service, and I would definitely stay again.
Carolina M — Google review
We stayed at this lovely hotel on 27-28 of september as a treat night away from our children. We loved the hotel and the bar was beautiful. We felt that the room was a little bit too small for us but the bathroom was lovely, bright and big. I have lefr a one star because of 2 things 1. The bathroom toilet brush was very dirty and felt that was not acceptable at a 4* hotel and needed a change. 2. We were really looking forward to a long nights sleep as you can imagine when you have kids that does not happen a lot. When we turned the light off to go to bed we noticed that the emergency exit light was so bright we wont be able to sleep. We noticed that the light had its cap missing and thats why it was much brighter than it supposed to be. We called the reception and night manager came and advised they cant do anything with it and they dont have any spare rooms for us to move. He advised to speak to manager in the morning. At our checkout receptionist advised that she wont be able to do anything about it but will take down our details and manager will get in touch with us. We waited few days and my partner wrote an email asking for an update on the situation however we are still waiting on a reply. We feel that every hotels main responsibility is to ensure that their guests get a good nights sleep and in this situation we were left in a bright room to sleep which was very hard and ruined our night away. We understand that night manager might not be allowed to touch the emergency exit light under normal circumstances but as per the pictures attached its clear that this one is broken and lights up all the room. We feel that solution should have been found at the time even if its a tape over it to cover the light a little. Following this review the management has been in touch and refunded us 50% of the price.

The hotel was not what I expected. I feel it’s all style but lacks the functionality. The room I stayed in had a few issues: the window that does not stay open (also opens about 20 percent), the lack of view (facing another building), the basic mini fridge that was not on and does not get cold properly (on/off only), a constantly flickering light bulb, and the ancient air conditioning system that has no control of keeping a constant temperature… my bathroom only had a rainfall shower head, which I suppose makes cleaning challenging? The surface of the bathtub was not clean on my check-in so gave up on having a bath. Parking was possible only if a space is available, first come first serve basis, for £28 per night. I only found it out after booking a room and contacting them, so I just decided to leave it at a park&ride. The bed was comfortable and the location was superb, and it looks nice on the outside. Nothing extraordinary with the staff members, the reception staff was rather indifferent. All in all, a huge disappointment. Would expect everything to be smooth and comfortable at a 4 star hotel.
Suin C — Google review
Unfortunately we found the hotel to be over rated and a bit of a disappointment. The most positive aspect was that everyone that worked there was very lovely and friendly, from Abby at the font desk to the head of housekeeping and the hard working waiters that we encountered. We had to change our first room because it smelled like urine. Staff was more than happy to help us switch spaces. We found our second room to be outdated and it seemed unvacuumed and a little worn and dirty (we found a lipstick container and other evidence on the floor). However the bathroom was clean and more modern. Lovely shower. The lobby and outer spaces were very nice and had an elegant feel. Breakfast was sub par. The buffet went un-replenished of various things both days. The breakfast cooked food lacked inspiration and tasted mediocre. We had to send back a full english breakfast because it was cold and unpleasant tasting (sausage and hash browns in particular). The self serve morning coffee situation was unfortunate as well, creating a long queue of guests until the machine broke. Also, attempts to pre arrange for a take away breakfast accommodation at 6:30am were not met despite several requests and attempts. All in all, it was a series of small and medium disappointments that left us feeling that we had been a bit hustled by a place resting on its laurels. Although it seemed that staff tried their best with what they had to work with.

From the moment I arrived at the Gonville Hotel, I knew my stay was going to be something special. The drive up was absolutely beautiful, setting the perfect tone for what was to come. There was ample parking, which made everything easy and stress-free. I arrived quite early and asked if I could leave my car before check-in, and the team were more than happy to accommodate, which I really appreciated. As I stepped into the hotel, I was met by the beautiful Abi at reception, who greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality. Abi was incredibly helpful, professional, and accommodating, the ideal first impression. We spent some time exploring the city centre before returning for check-in, which was handled smoothly and efficiently. Everything felt effortless, and the service throughout was faultless. This wasn’t my first stay at the Gonville, and it’s easy to see why we decided to return. The standard of service here continues to shine. Our room was in immaculate condition. It was beautifully styled, welcoming, and exuded comfort and elegance. From the moment I stepped in, I knew my break was going to be truly beautiful. We had also booked a Bentley Drive Tour of Cambridge, which took place the following morning. Our guide, Zain, was an absolute pleasure. He is a true fountain of knowledge when it comes to Cambridge’s history and culture. His storytelling was captivating, and he brought the city to life in such a memorable way. We learned so much, and his passion made the experience feel personal and enriching. I would happily book a tour with him again, as he is a real credit to the Gonville Hotel. For dinner on our first evening, we were looked after by Robert, the Food and Beverage Manager. His service was exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely polished. He has a wonderful way of making guests feel special, and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. The experience was flawless. On the second evening, we dined again and were served by Nico, who was equally outstanding. He was incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring we were looked after the entire evening. He made sure that we were always comfortable, our glasses were never empty, and we wanted for nothing. His professionalism and kindness elevated the whole experience. Breakfast was good, though I did notice that it has slightly declined compared to last year. It’s still enjoyable, but it no longer feels as luxurious as before. However, my only true disappointment with the Gonville is the change in toiletries. I really dislike the downgrade from Penhaligon’s to Urban Apothecary. It just does not work. The fig scent is unpleasant, lacks character, and simply doesn’t match the class and sophistication of the Gonville. In all honesty, it stinks. The change cheapens what is otherwise a five-star experience, and for me, it genuinely affected the overall enjoyment of my stay. Despite this, the Gonville Hotel remains a beautiful, elegant place with outstanding service and exceptional staff. Abi, Zain, Robert, and Nico each played a part in making our stay truly special, and they deserve the highest praise.

Staff very attentive and knew what they were doing, we did the Bentley tour with Mike, which we really enjoyed. Food nice, beds very comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, and they had conditioner! My only complaint would be the sound of the music carried up through the ceiling, and you could hear the person walking above, this didn't bother my mother in the room, but it did bother me, I had ear plugs with me so I was able to put them in to go to sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gonville hotel the 2 nights following our wedding day. They very kindly had arranged a complimentary bottle of prosecco and handwritten card in our room to congratulate us which was a lovely touch. The location was great, just on the outskirts of the city centre with some nice cafes and restaurants nearby. We managed to get a booking for the Bentley experience which was such a lovely part of our stay and our driver Mike was fantastic. We also both had a massage in the spa with Siobhan who was kind enough to fit us in last minute and did an amazing job.

The Graduate by Hilton Cambridge is a riverside hotel offering modern rooms and suites, an elegant restaurant, and meeting space. It is part of an American hotel group with locations in various university cities worldwide. The design of the Cambridge edition reflects local details, incorporating elements like the pattern of St Johns Gate into the interiors. Guests can enjoy borrowing punts to explore the nearby riverside.
This is a wonderfully fun hotel set in a gorgeous location with great décor. It's upscale but not pretentious. The rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant has a small but delicious menu and the staff are lovely; everyone from the front desk to the servers to housekeeping when together to make the stay stress-free and enjoyable. The setting is stunning and the views are rave-worthy. If you're lucky you will see cows grazing just across the canal...no other venue offers this. If I'm ever in Cambridge again I will absolutely come back here.

A lovely hotel, that is full of interesting decorations as you enter and fascinating photos in the rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable & the service is very good. Within minutes you're in the town to explore the delights of Cambridge, which is full of life and friendly people. It isn't a cheap hotel but definitely on my recommended list. The only disappointment for me is the pillows in the room, they are too soft and don't provide support for your neck, which did impact on sleep.

Fantastic weekend stay , Location is perfect, within walking distance of Cambridge city centre. Staff are really friendly, helpful and professional, room was gorgeous, hotel reception, bar and dining room all beautifully decorated ( very cosy ) with style.. We had the £50 pp taster menu for dinner , wow so much food , all wonderfully cooked ,steak, prawns ,ravioli, hummus ,burrata, tuna , chips ,salad, ice cream and tiramisu. Gym ,pool a bit on the small side but ok if it's not busy. All in all a fantastic time had made so much better by the friendly nature of the staff .. Thank you.

Breakfast buffet and seating was really lovely. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. View of the river beautiful. Amazing location, immediately close to town but 5 min walk so tranquil vibes, instead directly bordering the Fen, with outdoor seating along the river. Historical and inspiring city

Wonderful hotel, standard double room very spacious, comfortable and clean. Excellent walk in shower. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board in room. Staff very friendly. Location a few minutes walk into city centre shops/market and very close to Queens’. Didn’t eat in hotel so can’t comment on food/restaurant. Would happily stay again.

This hotel was disappointing. Beautifully done out hotel, friendly staff, Comfirtable large rooms, walkable to all the city centre land marks. However :- The price for staying at this hotel was exceptionally large at £278 per night. We chose to stay 2 nights as we were supposed to be on holiday abroad but I was unwell so I neededotz of rest and we thought a little luxury would be nice but we were surprised to see: 1) our room was not cleaned 2) a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night 3) tried to have a nap at 5.30pm before dinner and a member of staff knocked on the door 3 tkmes which woke me up, it was unsolicited and with the fire alarm meant I am very very tired and not feeling great today 4) We went down to breakfast and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and several items, including apple juice were missing 5) There were quite often long queues at receptikm Overall it was a great shame and this hotel is so near and yet so far. If the service standards are resolved this would be a completely dabous hotel, but I have to say we stayed at the Hampton by hton in Bath earlier j the week for half the price and the service was so much better it was incomparable. I have Never been to a hotel where a room us not cleaned beforest alone at this price tag. We were allowed to not pay for our parking due to these issues but still paid far far far more than that service was worth for the night so be aware!!!!!!!!!!! Such a shame as this hotek could gave it all with better organisation. More staff and better trained staff.

Such a weird experience. The kind of hotel that makes you do troubleshooting all the time even though you just wanted to sleep there for 2 nights. The fridge was so loud it was impossible to sleep when it was on. It wasn't well maintained either: lots of ice inside. When I turned it off, the ice started melting and fell; I had to clean the floor. The walls of the room were thin, so I could hear someone's snoring and then watching TV. Water pressure in the sink was poor, with random temperature. Power sockets only working on one side of the bed. No not disturb sign was not readily available. My room wasn't cleaned until I asked for it, and then it was cleaned poorly (toilet paper not changed, cups not washed). A breakfast was added to my bill even though I never asked for it. Honestly ridiculous.

Loved it. Extremely helpful and friendly woman on the staff at the front desk. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she was very kind and helpful in getting me my large checked bags, multiple times. I felt badly making her lug them out of the storage room, but she kept insisted it was okay and that she was there to help. Bravo!!

I have stayed with my husband, son and dog lots in this glorious hotel! We love it! Perfect location, fantastic staff and very good executive lounge. But the best aspect is AMANDA RASMUSSEN! Absolutely amazing customer service. Honestly making our stay perfect!

Memorable for all the wrong reasons Upon arriving at Hilton Cambridge City Centre, the concierge directed us to use the lift to take our luggage to reception on the first floor. No offer of assistance was made. The escalator was out of order—and remained that way for the duration of our stay. At reception, the unsmiling front desk attendant asked us to wait while she signed into her computer. That was fine; we weren’t in a rush. We were then handed our room keys and wished a pleasant stay. The dimly lit hallway was cluttered with wine bottles and an unattended cleaning cart, adding to the hotel’s overall lax impression. The room was adequate: a standard layout, dark, with no view, budget tea and coffee provisions, and no bar fridge. At nearly £300 a night, it felt overpriced. Given the Hilton brand pioneered many of the conveniences now considered standard in hotels, the service and facilities here fell short. The walls were paper thin, and the soundtrack of our stay included a crying baby next door. In the morning, we attempted to order coffee via the in-room dining app. The order failed to process—twice.

Well located hotel near all the main sights and walking distance to Kings, St John’s, Trinity and right next to John Lewis. Ideal for parents sorting out arrangement for their kids attending University events. Their breakfast spread is also very good

The worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel, for the most expensive room rate I have ever paid to stay In one ! Stayed in this hotel because friends were staying there too otherwise would never have paid the rate of over £260 for one night without breakfast. At that price I had high expectations however I got only perhaps one hours sleep and am now completely shattered, having been kept up all night by a very loud buzzing noise ( room 236 ) .. I spent the night turning the air con unit off and on to try to stop it, only realising after I had left my room the next morning that it was in fact the fire door on a magnetic latch outside the room that had been buzzing. The room itself was fine and clean, but at that price perhaps a member of staff could have walked through the corridors to check that there were no buzzing fire doors or somesuch if this was a known issue. Having been critical, had this not marred my stay I would probably have been happy here. I was not asked on check out how my stay had been so was not given an opportunity to comment at the time of checkout. Though of course I could have done, also had I ventured outside the room I perhaps could have found a temporary solution by closing the fire door for at least some of the night.

Very good hotel right in the centre of Cambridge. You can peer out at Cambridge’s Paleontology dept while eating a nice breakfast on the 1st floor. Rooms are large and very clean. The staff are always very helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant too - a hidden gem which is nice and quiet most weekday evenings. There is a gym on the ground floor, which is accessible by scanning your room key.

We stayed 1 night at Cambridge Hilton. Central location and friendly staff. Breakfast is great including pancake machine and freshly cooked hot food. However, the room needs updating and the bathroom was small and cramp. We used the valet parking which was convenient as most central Cambridge hotels do not have on site parking.

Went to the Hilton with about 80 colleagues last Wednesday for a conference. Facilities and staff very good. We all had a buffet lunch which seemed very nice. However on the way home a couple of hours later I started to get severe stomach cramps and an upset stomach which lasted to the next day. I assumed it was just me until the next day atleast half a dozen colleagues complained on a Teams chat of suffering the same symptoms so was clearly the food. The organisers of the meeting are collating the details of those who fell unwell to pass onto the Hilton.

Great location and very comfortable rooms, although basic. The staff we encountered were not that helpful unfortunately as I had not been allowed to book in someone else’s name so the situation was made to feel awkward. Also, I did feel that the breakfast and the bar were very expensive, £36 for two basic drinks, not even cocktails.

Brilliant hotel. Very Kind and helpful staff, extremely clean throughout. Swimming pool was great especially as we had it to ourselves. Breakfast was Lovely- Dinner was very good and great food for the price. Can’t wait to come back and stay a bit longer.

I haven’t stayed overnight, but I come regularly with my baby for swimming classes. The pool is warm, the facilities are spotless, and the reception team is always welcoming. Special thanks to Victoria and her team for their kindness — even when my toddler spilled milk in the lobby, they were calm and understanding. A lovely, family-friendly place!

It was the first time we visited the fellows house and stayed for seven nights. First impression, beautiful and clean. The beds are very comfortable, kitchens are fully equipped and when we wanted to cook dinner we could get supplies from the Co-operative shop 2 mins away. We didn’t travel by car but we were very glad that bus stop is literally a min walk from the hotel entrance. Hotel Cafe has lovely cakes esp the rosé velvet one :-). Lovely and helpful staff members ( we really liked Dully who serves at the breakfast area, easy to talk to / friendly, she made us feel at home, and welcomed always ). I did use the laundry, their dryer is nice as clothes (esp linen material ones) didn’t come out wrinkly. Also who ever did interior decoration did a great job 👍🏽

We had been straying here many to tomes. We are very disappointed with the services. We have reminded them more than 3 times to clean up our rooms. We had activated the blue light for housekeeping but was not attended to. Before we left for lunch at around 1pm and told the front desk to ensure house keeping be done before we return. We came back at 4.30pm we were very stunned to see the room still not done, we need to chase many time before they send the staff at 5pm. We are tired after an event out and hope to come back to rest and have comfortable nap but we can’t have good rest due to the room was not clean. The management please look into such services seriously and not to take for granted the kindness of clients. Very disappointed client. Anthony. Room 127 Duration of stay : 02/10 to 06/10

Inside, the hotel is excellent. But the staff is absolutely unqualified! 15 days ago, I stayed there with my family — we paid for 2 nights and parking. Additionally, they charged us a £100 deposit, which they promised to return to our card once we checked out. It’s been 15 days, and we still haven’t received any money! We’ve called around 10 times already — every time they give us a new deadline for the refund. First, it was 4 days, then 4–6 days, then 7–14 days… and still nothing. When we asked them to provide a receipt so that we could contact the bank, they sent us an invoice from the hotel, which means absolutely nothing to the bank! Our questions are ignored, they lie to us, and every time they give us incorrect information! For example, when we checked in, we paid one amount for parking and two nights, plus the deposit. But when we started calling persistently about the deposit, they suddenly deducted £50 for parking — something they had never mentioned before! They did it at the very last moment. In short, to sum it up: this is a matter of principle — the hotel is unprofessional, the staff lies, and they treat people like fools! Nobody has ever seen a bank transfer take nearly 3 weeks — it’s a complete lie. The hotel clearly wants to play games with its guests but doesn’t realize that sooner or later they will have to answer for their words — and for the discomfort their lies cause other people! It’s only a matter of time before they face the consequences. P.S. If I had a choice, I would definitely pick another hotel! It’s better to stay somewhere else than to feel so stressed and insulted.
Vitaliy O — Google review
We had a very poor stay here. The hotel looks very nice and looks good value for a long stay. However, the mattresses are very uncomfortable and caused sciatic pain for my mother which meant we had no sleep for the duration of our stay 7 nights as she was crying and in pain. When we returned home the sciatica has subsided. I have stayed in other Hilton hotels as never had this issue elsewhere. The rooms are self service with a once a week cleaner which is not acceptable for the prices you charge it should be daily like other Hilton and other hotels. Breakfast was 22 each and the hot breakfast was cold, poor value and unless you eat llke a pig is not worth the money. The hotel is far out of the city centre and you would be better off paying a couple of hundred more and staying centrally. Parking is 105 for a week as well. Do not recommend.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a family suite which was amazing with 2 kids as I could give them breakfast/lunch before a wedding we went to. We didn't eat in restaurant as my kids are extremely fussy eaters so the the room was perfect and would accommodate.

We booked 2 rooms as we were meeting friends that evening. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and pleasant. We booked to eat, 6 adults and a child, and the food was of a superb quality. Maybe the portions were a little small. The service from the hotel team was exceptional. From the moment we approached Reception to the entire experience of dining. Friendly, polite and helpful one and all, Leo and Piotr were magnificent, nothing was too much trouble and all with a smile. We stayed the one night before travelling back North and can say that our experience was ideal. Value for money and highly recommend

A 2-night visit with friends, a 20 minute drive (taxis) back into the City, about £18. Modernised to a high standard, with accommodation in a number of separate outbuildings, with extensive facilities, being a Corporate Events & Wedding Venue. Well trained and efficient, helpful staff made our visit trouble free and our group was looked after very well during our evening dinner. While the main restaurant is not large, there is a separate, larger room for wedding & Corporate events. Rooms are spacious & well appointed, with a good sized bathroom, everything worked as it should. Despite proximity to the always busy main A14 trunk road, noise from passing traffic was negligible. For our two visits into the city, we used taxis. Cambridge is renowned for not being car-friendly and expensive to park. Alternatively, there is park & ride <10 minutes away.

We went to the Riverside SPA with some friends for my birthday, and we had a really nice time. However I paid extra at the time of booking for a glass of Prosecco which I was never given even after asking the staff at Reception. I also did not get a refund as I was told by the staff the establishment does not issue any refund. It's a shame, as it unfortunately kind of taints what was otherwise a very nice experience.
Gwenaelle M — Google review
We stayed in standard double room, which is tired, cramped, and stuffy - general maintenance was lacking - bedside bulb not working, curtains not fitting and kettle was dirty and very small. Facilities are not in line with a 4 star rated hotel. The spa is run separately and charged for everything, despite us being hotel residents and booking spa treatments! For example, no complimentary coffee, no robes or slippers provided without additional charge. The poolside looks tired with raised tiles covered with a carpet tile. Jacuzzi was far too hot with difficult access and very cramped with only 2 people in it! The spa treatments were excellent. The bar and restaurant staff were very good. However, we discovered the lunchtime menu was the same in the evening, which had limited choice and again not in line with a 4-star - although the prices were! This was booked for a surprise birthday treat. On arrival, the receptionist clearly had not read the booking details and tried to charge again for breakfast and take credit card details. Overall, he was not very discreet or engaging for front of house.

We only used the Spa, not the hotel so all comments are related to the Spa. I booked an afternoon package including treatments for two and a glass of Prosecco each. The spa facilities are small and tired. The sinks in the ladies changing rooms were covered in soaking wet towels as the air-conditioning unit is leaking for what looked like some time. The staff were unprofessional in the main as they were too busy chatting to each other to attend to us. We were never offered the glass of prosecco we paid for. We did enjoy the treatments which are offered in a much nicer area than the general spa area. I'm afraid if you go expecting luxury or attention to detail you will be disappointed.

We pay £56 for two spa day for 45 mins salt scrub and aromatherapy bath experience. The place is tiring and poorly maintained. Hygiene is questionable with stain on towels and bath tub area. We were given 30mins in the aromatherapy bath instead of 45 mins. The salt scrub smells artificial. We left before 30min is up and the experience was poor. We didn’t have access to sauna and jacuzzi area. Again the place doesn’t feel comfortable and relaxing for us. We would not come again.

Incredible service from Claire (receptionist) who went above and beyond to accommodate all the requirements. The treatments in the spa were outstanding, cannot complement the two therapists enough and could have spent an absolute fortune if there was more availablity. Nice hotel, up to the Hyatt brand reputation. In an odd area of recent apartment complex developments. Also, precious little signage anywhere. Note that Google Maps has you approach the entrance coming from the south on Eddington, but you can’t get through that way due to a car exclusion zone. Need to drive around and approach from the north on Eddington. The parking is under the hotel and is accessed from the back of the hotel, which is up an access drive off Turing.

Lovely room great location to walk into Cambridge. Breakfast lovely and the service in the restaurant was friendly and kind and the food in the evening was great. What lets this hotel down is the poor service on reception. We had paid to make a change to our booking prior to our visit … as they couldn’t find this on their own system we were wrong and they were right - we hadn’t paid and needed to pay more there and then - we were told to ‘go and find our booking as they had no record ‘ this happened when we arrived and again when we checked out. When both staff members actually looked into their booking system they found the payment and adjustment we had requested….rude aggressive front of house staff whose attitude was very much ‘computer says no’ a real let down in what could have been a superb hotel …

This isn't the place to come to soak up the history of Cambridge but if you need a friendly, clean, professional base and you have dogs or kids, this is a fab place. It's quiet, great access to the m11 and the hotel staff are flawless. There are lots of little boutique places about but the best coffee was actually at the Hyatt (we did the research). Right on the bus route and with a late opening sainsburys nearby It's a quiet hamlet from the busy city with very comfortable beds. The linens and mattresses were lovely. The TV was very large and there was a fridge we could use. The bathroom was well appointed with a motion activated light night on the floor enough to get up but not to wake you. There was a gym and the lifts were quick and never busy. The staff were wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday with his parents. Unfortunately it has been a horrible experience and definitely tainted my husband’s birthday weekend. Would rate 0 stars if possible, as the customer service was appalling. Not one member of staff that we came across have been friendly, pleasant nor helpful. On one of the days, we had vacated both our rooms from 9:30 and requested our rooms to be refreshed, however when we came back at 14:30, they were not refreshed. When we asked a staff member and front desk if this could be escalated, they did not offer any apologies and were not very nice about it. From the name we knew this hotel was part of the Hyatt group, so we had high expectations but the condition of the rooms were also quite tired. Carpets and walls are dirty and not maintained. Very poor form from the Hyatt group. I will not be back and definitely will not recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic experience at Turing Locke . I booked studios and a 2-bed apartment for my family this summer and from the start the team was incredibly helpful with the arrangements. In our experience during their stay, the staff and reception team were so kind, welcoming and eager to help - it really made a difference! Any issues ie. with the kitchen sink at one point, were swiftly resolved. The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable and perfectly located. My family thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Its proximity to transport links, a supermarket, a cafes and restaurants was great! Highly recommend both for short visits and longer stays in Cambridge!

We had just stayed at the Locke location in Lisbon and loved it, so booked a little trip to Cambridge so we could stay at Locke again. The pros: Spacious room with kitchenette and a good hairdryer and full length mirror. Great quiet area with coffee shops, rooftop bar, sainsburys, parks to walk around. Well located to the town centre as long as your happy to drive in/take a bus. Small but serviceable gym. Areas to improve: Our room was the only room basically on the whole floor with a broken outside light, quite a bad 1st impression and I just don’t know why you’d place guests in that room if it’s the only one on the floor like that?! Also had an adjoining room (locked internal door) that had a low continuous noise almost like white noise. V weird. Shower head hadn’t been cleaned properly so the water would spray in all directions. Shower had areas of black mould. Reception service could’ve been friendlier and more forthcoming with info, eg: validating key card for the gym, how to get to the rooftop as it’s quite a maze-like set up, etc. Knowing what we know now, we would probably stay again but with slightly adjusted expectations.

I chose this hotel because it was close to my son's college, so the location was perfect for me. I wouldn't say the front desk was bad, but I wouldn't say they were particularly friendly either. The room has a constant 24/7 ventilation fan noise, which is incredibly disturbing. Of an 11-night stay, only a partial cleaning was done on the 8th day, so I'd like to share that this was a bit of a bummer for me.

A nice hotel in a very nice part of Cambridge, on the outskirts of the city so would require a bus/taxi or drive to get to the city centre. The hotel is located in an area that is still in development, so there was some distant background noise due to ongoing building works (you cannot hear it though when the window is shut). We checked-in smoothly and quickly, the hotel does tell you via an email to check in online beforehand to make it quicker and smoother, this process was easy and painless, I did it on the train on the way to the hotel. Once in the room, my partner and I did find it rather hot (it was the start of a week long heatwave with temps into the low to mid 30s) but we would at least wait to see if the aircon would cool the room down. Overnight, we were not able to get cool, we had to use our mini fans to cool down, which defeats the object of having aircon. Fortunately the hotel has a WhatsApp phone number that you can contact them on, we found this very useful and allows us to quickly ask questions or send out concerns and allows the hotel staff to respond, this is great way to communicate and address issues. We used the WhatsApp number to mention that the room was too hot and the air conditioning was not sufficiently cooling the room down to be comfortable. The next morning, a member of staff came and showed us to a new room. He did point out that the guest next door was being noisy on his phone, but we agreed to take the room, essentially so we could be more comfortable and cool down. We unpacked the case and settled in. The hotel offered us free breakfast, which was lovely, thank you for this kind gesture. Once we returned to the room after breakfast, we settled in the room to stay cool and do some reading, I decided to play the radio on low. We heard a loud bang and a voice shouting, we assumed it was due to the music. Knowing what we heard before, we reached out via the WhatsApp, we did not like the idea of having to tiptoe and not make a sound no matter how quiet we were in the middle of the day, we were certainly not playing loud thumping music but just trying to relax and stay cool. It then transpired that this guest next door had been causing issues through the night that even involved the police unknowing to us at the time. This actually made us quite anxious and made our stay a little uncomfortable for a different reason. The hotel was supportive and offered us another room, so we did have to uproot and pack, move and unpack a second time in the same day. The hotel did send apologies for putting us next to this volatile guest knowing what had already happened prior to our room move, but then again, the hotel was told the guest was safe, so no one is really at fault. At the end of the day, the staff listened to our concerns and aimed to put things right, so a big thank you. Rhys did pop along to explain and reassure us as to what had happened, thank you for doing that and for your previous support. From this point forward, the hotel was great. The room kept us cool throughout the heatwave when tempertures went into the 30s. The staff are very friendly, having WhatsApp does allow us to easily ask for extra pillows and also to fix a couple of issues such as a bulb that needed replacing. In addition, the hotel does allow you to have things delivered to you; they will keep them safe for you to collect. Also, we had a late delivery that arrived after checkout; the hotel kept the parcel safe so that a courier could pick up the parcel to send it on to my home address, thank you Andy for your help.

Having stayed at a few other Locke hotels in the UK, I was keen to try this one, just outside of Cambridge. We stayed for 2 nights and had a really enjoyable stay. The terrace room was great and the hotel is nicely decorated and a great place to stay. Although a 15 min drive away from the city centre. We rented Voi bikes to get around, which made the trip into the city centre less than 7 minutes! The surrounding area is beautiful and the big Sainsbury’s is very conveniently located. If you’d rather a peaceful stay outside of the touristy city, I would recommend! Great hotel, but some TLC is needed inside the rooms to warrant the price. Our room was not very clean, and we had a few maintenance issues, blocked bathroom sink (which we reported and was resolved the next day) dripping kitchen tap, and shower looked like it was clogged with hair/ draining slowly. I would recommend this hotel, but a note to Management please take more care to maintain rooms. I’ve never experienced these types of maintenance issues in hotels before, especially for £172 a night.

Really poor compared with other Locke hotels I've stayed in. Room was dirty on arrival, food crumbs, greasy marks, and unpleasant stains on the bedding and seats. Poor maintenance that was really obvious to anyone checking the room, bits missing or loose everywhere. Wasn't acknowledged by staff during my stay other than during checking-in, they didn't look up from laptops or booking screens once, minor but felt really impersonal compared with eg Manchester. Parking is really expensive, use the free overnight parking opposite or the Park & Ride just down the road. Location is okay. Near Cambridge, supermarket nearby.

Kitchen and bathroom were musty with towels that smelled used. Had more engaged and friendlier hotel staff in North Korea. People partying in the halls until 4am so I couldn't sleep. Toilet seat was broken, sink drained extremely slowly so it was barely usable. For the price, pretty unacceptable. Places like this are why Airbnb got big in the first place.

The room and hotel was lovely, unfortunately our stay was ruined by the extremely noisy and non-stop road/construction work. It would have been nice to have been warned so that we could have closed the window and avoided being woken up early after arriving very late the previous night.

I had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn in Cambridge! It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel offers everything you could wish for if you're looking for relaxation and comfort. One of the highlights was definitely the spa area,it was truly excellent. The swimming pool was clean, spacious, and perfect for both swimming and relaxing. The sauna and jacuzzi were also top-notch, providing a great place to unwind after a long day. The atmosphere in the spa was calm and very well-maintained. The rooms were really nice ,spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The beds were cozy, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, which made it easy to rest. The overall service was also very good. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions. In summary, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Cambridge. If you're looking for a hotel with great spa facilities, a super swimming pool, a sauna, jacuzzi, and comfortable rooms this is the perfect place! I would definitely love to come back.

Wonderful Family Stay We had a fantastic weekend at the Holiday Inn Cambridge as a family of four. From booking with Martin, check-in with Alan, and dinner service from Ella, every staff member was friendly and professional, truly outstanding service all round. The hotel is very family-friendly and made us feel welcome throughout. The pool area is a bit tired, but still clean and enjoyable. Overall, a great stay and we’ll definitely return. Thank you to the whole team.

A lovely hotel set in an excellent place. Clean rooms and surroundings. Complimenty iced water available at the reception area. A lovely pool and gym which I had access to. The staff reception at the pool were very efficient and informative, with a smile too. I was there enough to enjoy/ use all available to me. I did on departure treat myself to a coffee at The Starbucks on site with was made nicely. However, I was waiting in excess of 35 minutes before served as only one member of staff serving there. Down side is there is no lift, so those who need help getting up and down stairs would need to ensure your room is on the ground floor.

I wanted to share some feedback for my recent experience at the Holiday Inn Cambridge near the A14. Unfortunately, this property does not recognise elite memberships such as Platinum or Diamond status. It’s disappointing that the front of house team does not acknowledge the usual benefits, such as room upgrades, which are typically associated with elite membership, only freshly baked cookies for everyone to grab upon check-in. Platinum or diamond members mean nothing if you stay at this property, whereas some random guests received “selected guest of the day” with a bottle of wine and upgrade….. really?!?! Restaurant staff were unfriendly and not welcoming. I tend to agree with people's reviews on here pointing out that staff were unhelpful and can be rude sometimes. HR needs to introduce an aptitude test before recruiting hospitality staff. On the other hand, my stays at other IHG properties overseas including the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, or even Holiday Inn Express, my membership status has always been recognised and appreciated, making the experience much more rewarding. But not in Cambridge!!! Cambridge property, despite being part of the same IHG group, falls short in this regard. Not to mention, this property doesn’t even have the executive club lounge to enjoy. WiFi is intermittent throughout the day. For people like myself who need a connection for work, it is terrible when WiFi drops. To be honest, IHG should review the management and service standards to ensure consistency across the brand compared with other Holiday Inn branches. A couple of good things about this property are that free parking for IHG one members and freshly baked cookies. On the other hand (2), the Hilton in town offers a much better experience in terms of both quality and location and not to forget to mention “recognition of a loyal membership”. I have come to a conclusion now that I will definitely avoid Holiday Inn Cambridge if possible. This property doesn’t even deserve a 3-star rating. My big mistake to choosing Holiday Inn Cambridge. Will never ever consider this property in the future. I will choose Hilton if you don’t mind me saying as a loyal IHG One member. Awful and terrible experience.

We were checked in by a lovely lady (I unfortunately don't correctly remember her name but I think Izzy) who welcomed with a lovely smile. The rooms are decent and comfortable. Amazing facilities like 24*7 bar, swimming pool, sauna, gym and jacuzzi. Absolutely Enjoyed my stay ☺️

Easy access to town city with the park and ride which is a 5 min drive away. The lobby and restaurant are new and modern, the restaurant is very convenient with children (play area and chold menu). The pool area also a bonus, although not the cleanest floors and changing rooms. The rooms are functional but dated, could do with a serious freshening up, but it served its purpose. Parking is charged if you're not a member, worth noting. Breakfast was good, staff was helpful:)

We had been looking forward to our two night stay but we are very disappointed. We were given Room 179 on the ground floor. We had a long treck to the room which is not the best for me and my bad knees. We have a blue badge so having our room so far from reception defeates the purpose of having a disabled badge to park by the front door. Room is ok, one window opens about 4 inches, not great on a very hot day. I am on chemotherapy tablets and have to be so careful with regards to cleanliness and no matter where we stay my first job is always to sanitise our room. I hung all the clothes and went into the bathroom oh my goodness what a dreadful sight. The bath was and still is disgusting. The taps and shower head are corroded and I can't think it has been cleaned properly in ages. The tiles are cracked and dirty and the floor tiles. The toilet seat is broken and wobbly. The vanity mirror is rusty and a hazard. Staff nice.

This was my third time visiting Cambridge but I didn’t want to stay in the conference hotel (Hilton) so I did my own research and came across Duke House. I’ve never stayed in a bed and breakfast before but Duke House exceeded my expectations. The booking process was very easy and Tina emailed me a day before my arrival to ask my check-in time. My flight into Heathrow got delayed so I ended up not arriving Cambridge until night time. Tina waited for me, showed me around the house, gave me directions for my conf venue, and helped carry my luggage upstairs to the room. My room was cozy and clean and had a beautiful bathroom with a big bathtub. The breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful. The dining room was also absolutely lovely with Xmas music playing in the background. The location is also just a short walk to the colleges and the Arcade. Thanks for the hospitality and I can’t wait to return.

Beautiful B&B in Cambridge, ideally located just 5 minutes from the town centre. Tina (the host) is extremely nice and cooks the most delicious breakfast. The lounge is available for guests to use and we enjoyed a glass of prosecco (which we provided) there before we set out for dinner. Highly recommended!

Staying at Duke House was the perfect combination of a professional hotel and perfect b&b The room was perfectly designed, with desk, tea making area, window boxes, great bathroom and dressing room area. always fresh milk and water available. Excellent breakfasts, lovely sitting room, and parking. Great location, near-by pubs and national express bus pick-up, and excellent for walking/ centrally located. Liz could not have been more helpful, with directions, helping us check in for our return flight, even parking our car! Obviously, I can't say enough about what a lovely place this is, and how much we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic B&B. Room was lovely and tranquil and I had the best nights' sleep for a long time. The host was extremely welcoming and provided a first class breakfast the next morning. Never before have I been given two eggs as standard and the sausages were the best I have ever eaten. Thanks so much for a memorable stay, we will certainly book here again for our next trip to Cambridge.

What a charming B&B the Duke House is. It was cold and damp in Cambridge but my room (the Cambridge) at the Duke House was so sweet and cheery in pinks and creams. It has it's own sitting room and balcony. Lots of light streaming through windows My sister was next door in an equally beautiful room in creams and blues It's very clean and comfortable. We slept soundly as it's off the beaten path and is stone quiet Breakfast by our host Paul was a treat. He's a delight and we are still trying to diet off the abundance of foods Highly, highly recommend the Duke House

The River Cam in Cambridge offers a delightful way to explore the city, passing by prestigious colleges like Trinity College and St Johns. You can admire the unique geometric shape of the Mathematical Bridge at Queens and even hop aboard a punt for a leisurely cruise down the river. The Varsity Hotel & Spa provides an excellent starting point for exploring the Cam, with its proximity to the punt station.
🏞️This is my first time to visit River Cam,and the view is extremely pleasant & beautiful. I never thought I would come to River Cam one day, although we need to take the boat to appreciate such beautiful scene & see the college students reading by the river. It’s worth visiting River Cam once in our lifetime.✨ Please enjoy the view & boating on Eiver Cam ,and you will find how pretty River Cam is.🛶

It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. If you visit Cambridge, this should be definitely in your bucket list. To go punting in river Cam. It was a wonderful experience. You can book a boat for yourself, or you can share a boat, and if you're confident enough, you can ride on your own.

If you’re in Cambridge, make sure to go “punting” on the River Cam. Rent a boat for £30, spend a few hours paddling down the river. You’ll cross the Bridge of Sighs, the Mathematical Bridge, and many others. Many guided tours available. The red boats offer alcohol for sale. Excellent leisure activity in the afternoon with family or friends.

As soon as my boat start journey I feel I’m in a magical land for the time of my River Cam tour on the punt. Can’t explain the atmosphere in words. A must experience thing in the whole of Cambridge. The weather was cold but bright day and got some pics. I would recommend not focusing on taking pictures much coz you’ll loose the feel of the punting trip. This river is a source of great nature beauty, swans, bridges as well as colleges universities n many historical buildings. There must b lovely walks especially in summer or spring when the weather is on peak n gives u all to make an amazing atmosphere.

Just wanted to comment and say how impressed we were with the catering and service we received at a family wake today, especially as they catered for our son’s allergies. Has been several times and always been very happy with my food but this time I was very disappointed, I had the Sunday roast , my beef was inedible, 80% fat and extremely tough !!! As for dessert, my friend had sticky toffee pudding which looked very good but I ordered the blonde which was more expensive but when it came every one on the table commented on how tiny the serving was compared to the other dessert’s!!!! At £9.50 I thought it was a rip off so be aware of what you get for your money Having posted this review the owner asked me to contact him so he could make things right, this was clearly not the case as I’ve contacted him directly 3/4 times and have not received anything back at all , Clearly the statement let us make it right is only to make it look good on the review answer and not his intention to make things right at all !!!!!

I now eat at the Crown and Punchbowl fairly regularly. I like it the most out of the very good value Camcuisine pub/restaurants (I've tried them all). It has a lovely atmosphere and decor. The staff are excellent and seem to enjoy their job and provide good service. You are never rushed and the food is always good quality. All this and for those of you with Gothic leanings, the patio overlooks a graveyard. I would like to see some more offerings on the menu suitable for summer (lighter etc), and unless I am mistaken there used to be more specials? But that's a minor quibble. I have eaten out all over Cambridge (admittedly Cambridge is not great for food), and whilst this is not "fine dining" I think it offers the best balance of value for money, quality and ambience in the Cambridge area.

We stayed a night in this lovely pub after a visit to Cambridge. It was a short drive to get there from the city, but the thatched roof houses and quaint village made you feel like you were a world away. The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and the standard double room was more then big enough for a night's stay. There were lots of amenities in the room, and a very comfy bed with lovely cotton sheets. The evening meal had a varied menu and was delicious with great service too. We would definitely reccomend a visit.

The Brewers Inn is a charming traditional pub with a restaurant and beer garden, offering cozy rooms in converted stables. Located in Milton, it's conveniently close to the Cambridge Science Park and the picturesque Milton Country Park. The inn features a British/Indian gastropub menu with options for vegans and vegetarians. The four attractive bedrooms are situated in a separate stable block, providing a peaceful retreat. Guests praise the well-kept range of local ales and commend the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Competitive Pub Trying to write reviews for the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this restaurant. The menu is relatively limited compared to Milton Arms and Lion&Lamb nearby, but still competitive. The lamb rump was in Indian style, very soft and tender that melted into your mouth. With a nice salad. But the rice was slightly dry and stuck together, probably slightly stuck into the bottom of the cooker? The burger was really nice. It had both quality and quantity. Large and juicy burger. Not oily. The chips were hot and tasted very good, in generous quantity. The restaurant is rustic but clean. The toilets are clean and roomy. The staff was nice and helpful. He offered help even we didn't request. Overall it's a competitive business in Cambridge.

Called in on a wet evening for a quick evening meal with my dog. Staff were most accommodating allowing me to eat in the bar with the dog but not in the restaurant, understandable. I chose just a burger and chips although the menu was much more extensive. The food arrived hot and quickly. Chips were good and plenty full, salad was not to fussy as I like it. Burger was a good thick piece of meat but was a bit lacking in flavour. Bar was quiet approx 15 customers. I would eat there again if I was in the area.

Just popped in on a Sunday and what a great place. Excellent food and superb service. I would add that I do not agree with a service charge (12.5%) being added. I will decide if the service is worth rewarding, not you. Yes, it’s discretionary but this tactic puts some customers into an embarrassing situation where it’s easier to pay rather than speak up and you exploit this awkward situation to your advantage. As it happens, and as I said the service was superb and I would have happily tipped at least 20%. Your reviews are great, reconsider applying the service charge.

Excellent place to stay. The location is amazing, the bar and pizza is great. Has great staff who are all helpful. The day manager and Joanna were simply great. I loved my stay there throughout. Lovely and cozy place. You can definitely can take a group of students there. Another great things is that if you skip the daily room clean, you're left a £5 voucher to use in the Chill#2 coffee shop. They offer coffee or tea and a pastry for £5. Only negative side were the carpets especially in the corridor were heavily stained. So that part needs to be improved..

I travel to Cambridge somewhat regularly for work. Coming from the US, I often arrive early, before most hotels have check-in available. I love the Ibis because I can almost always get into my room early with a small fee and get some much needed rest. The check-in host for this visit, Malaika, was super accommodating and helpful getting me checked into my room early. This hotel’s location is also fantastic. Practically attached to the train station and an easy walk to just about anything in the city center. Rooms are cozy and affordable. Nothing fancy, but they’re reliably good.

Location, staff and vibe of hotel are fantastic however the thing letting it down is the beds! We had a twiin bed room. The beds were really narrow. The mattresses are about 2 inches thick... I mean the other aspects are nice but the one thing they should get right in my opinion is the beds!! Didn't sleep well at all hence my low score. Breakfast was decent and fairly priced. Manager of the housekeeping found extra pillows for us and was lovely to interact with. Reception also lovely. Last negative was we were told food until 3am yet when arriving back at 230 it was too late and we missed the food.

Modern and clean, with very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast selection was great, especially pleasing for me on a ketogenic diet. We had the Family Room offer which was 2 rooms with our own little corridor behind a single secure door. It was an easy 20 minute casual walk into the city centre. We would stay again happily.

ibis Cambridge Central Station is located next to the central railway station (name kinda gives it away). The rooms are well sized and has all the amenities required. The have a "cool / hip" look and feel, which I enjoyed. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a waiting and seating area on the ground floor, just behind the reception area. There is also a cafe here too, serving food and drinks pretty much all day and night. Just note, in peak hours the seating in the breakfast area (1st floor) is almost full. The actual breakfast has many options, but pretty average in taste and quality. Also, during peak stays the housekeeping service can run past 5pm, which isn't ideal. Lastly, it is 20 or so minutes walk to the main centre. If you don't mind the walk and want value for money, this ibis is a good option.
Nayan P — Google review
The hotel is located next to the train station, so it is very convenient to move and rest. From the hotel to the center of Cambridge, it only takes about 20 minutes to walk and just go straight, so it is not too far. The staff is very nice and helped me with heavy luggage. The room is clean and comfortable, but the soundproofing is not very good, so when the rooms next door come in or out or someone passes by, I will hear it. But overall it is quite good, breakfast has a variety of dishes.

Novotel Cambridge North is a modern 4-star hotel in Cambridge, offering a range of amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel features an indoor pool, hot tub, and gym for guests to enjoy. Additionally, there's a restaurant and bar on-site. The rooms are well-equipped with soundproofing, air conditioning, and tea/coffee making facilities. With free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance, guests can expect convenience throughout their stay.
We had a truly memorable stay at Novotel Cambridge North, made extra special by the thoughtful touches and outstanding hospitality from the team. A huge thank you to Hannah, whose creative towel art and vibrant balloon arrangements added such joy to our celebration. Her attention to detail and cheerful presentation made the room feel festive and personal—an unexpected delight that we’ll always remember. Equally impressive was Tiago and the entire catering team, who went above and beyond during breakfast. From serving hot milk to preparing vegetarian sausages on request, they made sure everyone in our group felt cared for. The breakfast spread was generous, fresh, and beautifully presented, and the team’s warmth and attentiveness made each morning a pleasure. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and perfectly located near Cambridge North station, but it’s the people who truly elevate the experience. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Had a pleasant stay here! The pool was lovely and well looked after, although could’ve done with being a couple degrees warmer in my opinion, especially in the jacuzzi bit. When we arrived our room wasn’t quite ready so we sat in the bar area for about 15 minutes, our room was then upgraded to the executive suite because of this which we thought was a very kind gesture. The rooms are nicely lit with sound proof walls (great as hotel is right next to the train station) and included espresso machine, a mini fridge, and robes/ slippers. Bed was pretty comfy! I would say that I wasn’t a huge fan of the glass bathroom door as it isn’t completely opaque. Although the rainfall shower was an enjoyable addition. The whole hotel is very open and modern looking, the bar area was okay however didn’t have a large alcohol selection. The only larger on tap was Stella, and no cider other than Magners. Also limited spirits, which was disappointing. On the flip side- the food was pretty tasty albeit slightly more expensive than I would’ve hoped for. Overall I would return to this hotel as I don’t have much to fault and I enjoyed my experience.

Recently stayed at this hotel, clean and modern and the staff were pleasant. However there was some downfalls, house keeping is a little sloppy. Shampoo container was empty and soap was also too. It was my brothers birthday and I asked for a card or cake and was told by 6pm, however this was not adhered. Also one of the days my room was not serviced. I don't think these are acceptable in a 4 star hotel and certainly a big chain like novotel.
Tom J — Google review
This hotel is in an excellent location, right next to the train station with direct lines to Stansted Airport. It’s also within walking distance of the Science Park, making it a very convenient choice for business travelers. The amenities are a mixed bag. The gym is a positive highlight—it's clean, well-equipped, and supplied with water and towels. The swimming pool and sauna are also kept in good condition. However, the changing rooms and especially the showers fall short and are in need of more frequent cleaning and maintenance. The breakfast was not up to best. The selection of warm dishes was a disappointment, as most were unhealthy and oily. I was also let down by the lack of boiled eggs and the poor quality of the scrambled eggs. The fresh fruit and cheese selection was also quite limited, and the coffee was not good at all. My biggest issue was the unacceptable room service and a general lack of cleanliness. While the rooms are well-designed, housekeeping was a consistent letdown. Every single day of my stay, something was either forgotten or done incorrectly. The cleaning standards were particularly poor; I found long hair strands and a thick layer of dust around the tea and coffee area, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There were even plastic bags from past customers left in the drawers. On top of this, they repeatedly failed to refresh essentials like shower gel, water bottles, and coffee, and never restocked the vanity kit. They wouldn't always replace dirty cups with new ones and forgot to provide a fresh bath towel, new slippers and toilet paper twice. The trash bin was also left uncleaned, and a wet mat towel was left in the shower. For the price of the hotel, these consistent flaws are completely unacceptable. I reported these issues to the reception multiple times, only to have my complaints completely ignored.
Gilda M — Google review
The stay was excellent at the Novotel Cambridge, clearly a new and modern hotel with great decor and top quality rooms. The room was very comfortable, plenty of space and the bed was great. Ability to control the temperature was much needed due to the very hot weather in the area during our stay. The blackout curtain was also very good an helped us to sleep well on both nights. Enjoyed the pool as an option as we had our son with us and he enjoys swimming while we are away. Drinks in the hotel were very pricey and we didn't take breakfast as an option as we chose to eat elsewhere during our stay. The car parking costs as an extra are annoying but more hotels seem to be going down this route now. I would like to see a deal / discount set up for this as part of the package. The hotel is right next to Cambridge North Station and the rapid journey into Cambridge (4-5 mins), is very handy and saves on parking costs in the City Centre. Many commuters park at or cycle to the station and do the remainder of the journey by train as it is so convenient. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend this as an option for people visiting the area and its many sights.

Clean, fresh rooms. All slept well as a family of 4. Children had a comfortable sofa bed. Breakfast was good. Standard breakfast buffet with traditional and continental options. We had a little wait for a table as it was busy and there is limited seating. Tiago took care of us and we were soon sat down to eat. The hotel is a little out of the way of Cambridge city centre. However being right next to a train station makes the city accessible. No noise from the trains either! Overall pleasant stay and would return.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Rooms were large, clean and well appointed. Such a lovely find. Room was perfect, nothing that hasn’t been thought of. Breakfast completely freshly cooked and one of the best I’ve had. Nothing was too much trouble and to top it all off it had parking included. Already looking forward to staying again when we get the chance.

Simply outstanding. Comfortable, clean, and prettty close (10 minute beautiful walk along the river) to town. First class rooms with every detail thought through and delicious breakfast. Guido and Marie extremely friendly, courteous and can't do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They've perfected hospitality for a few days in Cambridge so if you're hesitating, just don't.

Spotless and spacious room, fresh linen and quality pillows, and really warm and welcoming hosts who cook a great breakfast. Couldn't ask for more. Also we had to drive to Cambridge so very useful to be able to park our car and stroll into the town centre from here. Totally recommend it.

This is still one of the best and nicest B&B's that I have stayed at. It has been quite a few years since I've been there, and I am so happy to see that it is still rated so highly. Guido and Maria make a wonderful team and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their breakfast was also the best that I have encountered. I hope they continue with this winning recipe of theirs for many years to come. Bravo to Guido and Maria !!

We stayed at Worth House for our trip to Cambridge last weekend. What a lovely guest house, bedroom was spacious and very clean, the bed was very comfortable I had two nights of great sleep. The Ensuite was very nice too. Breakfast was delicious and to have a toaster on your table was a bonus. Guido and his wife Maria are brilliant hosts. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My better half booked this one!! But a great find. Conveniently located from central Cambridge, close enough to walk into and on a main bus route so a car not really needed. We were in town for a graduation and found Worth House to fulfill all our requirements. Now the host, Guido, simply put welcoming! Accommodating and helpful and friendly, definitely made our stay memorable. Maria’s breakfast were delicious…. Room was spotless, proper sized mugs provided so you could enjoy a proper cup of tea!! Rooms were turned over with clean bath towels provided each day which I found really welcome. All in all an excellent choice for a short stay close to a fantastic city! Highly recommended

Art Museums
The Fitzwilliam Museum, located on Trumpington Street in Cambridge, is a renowned destination for art and history enthusiasts. Established in 1816, the museum boasts an extensive collection of classical art and artifacts from various cultures. Visitors can explore Asian ceramics, armor, coins, paintings, and archaeological remains such as a Roman Swiss army knife and a colorful 3000-year-old Nespawershefyt coffin from Egypt.
Visiting the Museum right as it opened was a fantastic idea. We had many of the galleries to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. The collection is incredibly diverse, spanning from ancient Egyptian artifacts to masterpieces by famous painters. The building itself is a work of art, and it's a great place to spend a few hours exploring history and culture. Best of all, it's free to enter!

The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge is truly a gem—and completely free! Founded in 1816 from the personal collection of Richard Fitzwilliam, it has grown into a world-class museum with stunning collections of art, antiquities, manuscripts, and decorative arts. The building itself is beautiful, with grand galleries and a light-filled central hall. Highlights include works by Turner, Monet, and Van Dyck, as well as fascinating Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artifacts. Every corner has something to surprise you, from delicate miniatures to imposing sculptures. Whether you’re an art lover, history enthusiast, or just curious, it’s easy to spend hours exploring. A perfect cultural stop in Cambridge, and a must-see for both locals and visitors.

This is a fantastic museum and if you’re interested in art, it would be a reason enough to come to Cambridge, even if you have nothing else while you’re here. There’s a lot of nice impressionist paintings as well as other realist and pointillism from around the same time. As you could see in the photos, the Holdings for armory, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, ceramics are very extensive. I’ve got a big gift shop in a very nice little café on site as well. It’s really nice.
Lon W — Google review
A true oasis of culture and beauty in the heart of Cambridge. Whenever I have a bit of time I like to walk in and get a good dose of inspiration. The museum never disappoints. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. I like the new, more modern display mixing various periods under different themes, it's refreshing. There are always fascinating temporary exhibitions too. The café and gift shop are also excellent. All in all, the Fitzwilliam museum is a must if you have more than several hours in Cambridge.

Very nice museum with a lots of different arts displayed from various era and places. If you like arts your place is here when you visiting Cambridge. The entry was free, the staff was polite and helpful all the way. Please make a note turn off your phone flash as it harms the the displayed arts. The staff also will ask you politely. You can take many photos as you want. Very diverse and nice collection. Recommended to visit it. I post pictures from my favourite part the armory.

now write me a short review of my trip to the fitzwilliam museum in Cambridge England. The visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge was a captivating exploration of art and history, offering an impressive collection that spans centuries and cultures. Highlights included the museum’s exquisite paintings and finely curated artifacts, each thoughtfully presented to tell its own unique story. The blend of classical and contemporary works created a rich, immersive experience, making the Fitzwilliam a must-visit destination for anyone interested in art, archaeology, and cultural heritage in a beautifully historic setting.

We only had time to visit the main museum but were not disappointed, some great pieces very nicely and clearly displayed. The building itself is simply stunning
Ady F — Google review
Popped in for a few hours before my train, so unfortunately didn't get to see everything, but what I did see was impressive. There is definitely something for everyone here, with artifacts seemingly from all over the world, and from every time period, even some modern works of art. I particularly enjoyed the armory room, seeing all the weapons and armour is right up my street. The piece that struck me most was a firearm that was also an axe! I also really enjoyed seeing some of the old Chinese dynasties pottery, given how old it is and that other ancient cultures usually take the limelight, some artifacts were over 3000 years old! Definitely one to revisit and see what I missed the first time round!

Cambridge University Botanic Garden is a 40-acre expanse of gardens and plants that attracts families and couples. The city's beauty is further enhanced by various open spaces, including the University Botanic Gardens, which have been extensively developed and improved. The Backs, a series of landscaped lawns and gardens along the River Cam behind the main line of colleges, adds to the charm. Additionally, visitors can explore Kings Parade with its attractive shops facing Kings College and its chapel.
We love botanical gardens when we travel. This is my highest recommendation for a visit. The atmosphere and garden itself is emasculate, beautiful and pristine. One of the best £8 you could spend for a day or even hour stop. Nice staff, good food, well maintained. Would definitely go back, you can get lost in the vast beauty of each section for hours!

A tranquil botanic gem in a busy city! An extraordinary garden of plants with some beautiful tree species. Easily accessed via the Park and Ride there's room to explore, learn or just sit and relax. Add to this a cafe with great coffee and the biggest croissants I've ever seen thanks to Stir Bakery, it's a wonderful day out.
Samantha E — Google review
I recently visited the Cambridge University Botanic Garden in the evening, and it was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve had in the city. The atmosphere was calm, quiet, and perfect for simply being yourself. Unlike many crowded spots, here you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy nature at your own pace. The garden is beautifully maintained with a huge variety of plants and trees from different parts of the world. Each plant is labelled with its scientific name, which makes the walk not only relaxing but also quite educational. I found it fascinating to see species that I would otherwise never come across. Whether you are someone who enjoys botany or just loves greenery, the diversity on display is impressive. What I especially liked about visiting in the evening was how tranquil it felt. The soft light made the colours of the plants stand out, and the paths were quiet enough to just reflect, think, or simply sit in peace. It’s the kind of place where you can take a slow stroll, spend time with yourself, or even bring a book and read under the trees. Overall, a must-visit in Cambridge for anyone who wants to escape the noise of the city and connect with nature.
Trending D — Google review
The Botanical Gardens are always lovely any time of year. They are great value for money and very family friendly as they always have free activities for children and there is no charge for them to enter. Lots of lovely plants and different areas from the greenhouses to winter gardens. Only negative points...the food is very expensive and wasn't particularly good (a very bland salad today...apparently it was supposed to have raisins in...I got one! At £6 a bowl I expected flavour and *gasp* a dressing). The other is parking. Not the gardens fault, but there isn't any. This is particularly difficult for disabled people. You can park for 3 hours but that's very little time to visit given the extra time and effort it takes with a disability. There are NO disabled spaces and the pavement is is dangerous for either a mobility scooter or walking aid users. The Council needs to revaluate this! Also wish they'd keep the shop open till 5pm so you can buy stuff on the way out! They are missing a trick there.
Emma H — Google review
I absolutely loved visiting the Cambridge Botanical Garden! It’s such a peaceful and beautiful place — full of colours, calm corners, and the gentle energy of nature. I could have spent hours just walking around and watching the flowers and trees. The glasshouses are amazing too! A truly magical spot to relax and feel inspired.
Elena R — Google review
I had a lovely visit! It was a quiet Monday, and pleasant even with intermittent showers. It’s a good size - not overwhelmingly big (I found Kew too big for one day). The glass houses were a particular highlight but lots of other lovely areas like the herbaceous borders and the scented garden. The Rising Path was informative. I enjoyed a salad and drink for lunch at the cafe, which wasn’t busy. If you buy a ticket, you can leave and come in again on the same day which I did and was handy for me. I’ll definitely come again!
Olivia K — Google review
This is a magical destination, especially for those who love plants. Despite visiting on a weekday, there was a decent crowd, but it never felt overwhelming. There is so much to see in terms of plant life, and we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a banana tree in bloom. We were also grateful for the fully-stocked cafe, which provided much-needed cool drinks on a warm day.
G S — Google review
We went there with family and we had a good time. Great place to visit when it’s not raining. To be honest it was one level of lower than my expectations also tickets could be £5 for adults , that would be much reasonable price rather than £8 . Free for children. Also for that large land scape they could do much activity for kids. But end of the our visit we left with positive feelings. Worth to visit.

Cambridge Market Square is a historic outdoor market that has been a central gathering place for locals since medieval times. It offers a wide variety of goods, including gourmet food stalls, fresh produce, herbs and spices, preserves, oils, condiments, and locally made crafts. The market reflects the city's vibrant multicultural community with its diverse range of offerings from around the world.
Cambridge Market Square truly offers a delightful experience, and I was particularly pleased to discover the abundance of halal food options available – a welcome surprise, as such choices often feel limited elsewhere. Beyond the wonderful food, the market is a vibrant hub brimming with diverse offerings. From unique retro clothing finds and stylish hats to eye-catching jewelry, there's something to capture every interest. The tempting array of desserts and sweets is hard to resist, and the stalls overflowing with fresh, colorful fruits and vegetables are a testament to the local produce. In short, Cambridge Market Square really does seem to have it all!
Mohammed A — Google review
I found Cambridge Market Square underwhelming. For such a historic and vibrant city, I expected something more distinctive and rooted in the local culture. Instead, the stalls felt generic, selling things that could be found in almost any market elsewhere. There wasn’t much that felt uniquely “Cambridge” about it. The food options were particularly disappointing. Nothing stood out as something I’d want to try again, and the prices were on the high side for what was being offered. I wouldn’t really choose to eat there, especially when there are so many better places around the city. Overall, the market lacks character and originality. It doesn’t showcase local produce, crafts, or specialties in a way that would make it worth visiting. Honestly, there’s nothing that makes it feel like a must-see in Cambridge—it could just as easily be anywhere else.

As of August 2025, the hotel seems to have had a refresh. New carpets, lick of paint and such. Staff are great, food was lovely. The only negative I could find was the parking. A fiver? For what?? Mental.

Lots of renovations going on , but unfortunately the room was awful. We stayed one night thankfully. The room has a disgusting smell either from old carpets or furnishings. We also had vomit in the toilet although it had been cleaned? The shower leaked and the shower head was loose. We did complain at the time to staff who offered us free drinks and to change rooms. But my family member was in another room and this was no better . They need to overhaul the rooms at the 100end rooms the smell is horrible and very overwhelming.

It's surrounded by 50 acres of parkland and fields, creating a peaceful and picturesque experience. Despite being an old building, the gorgeously decorated rooms are well-equipped with thoughtful amenities.
We used Rectory Farm as our wedding reception venue, and it was so lovely. It was so lovely to see our guests being able to chat, have reception drinks and play games on the lawn in the sun; we got some gorgeous photos around the venue, and a food van being able to provide evening food. We also loved that most of our guests were able to stay on site at the venue. We were also relieved when the venue offered cooked breakfast to all our guests. My husband and I loved being able to stay in the wedding suite too.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The “hotel” if you could call it that, does not have any service or anybody at the hotel past 10pm or before 4pm. Unfortunately we had arrived at the hotel past 10pm and nobody was there to provide us with our keys or tell us where our keys were. I attempted to call their “24 hour phone line”, to which no one answered me. Thankfully I knew someone at the location and they let me sleep in their room for the night. We weren’t the only ones met with this issue as another couple arrived the next day in the same situation and we weren’t thankfully able to help them, something the staff should be doing. There are no CCTV cameras around the building or in the corridors, so I didn’t feel very safe, especially as it is in a very remote location. When we told the receptionist about the issues we faced, we were faced with poor excuses stating that someone should have answered the phone. The rooms are also not the cleanest, I found an old snickers bar by the bedside table (delicious, thank you so much rectory farm). We were on the ground floor and the blinds were not working properly, so therefore privacy was a bit of an issue. Completely disappointed and really not worth the price, even though they do call themselves a “budget hotel”. I hope they sort themselves out.

Hi would like to leave my honest review, Found on booking.com was a amazing looking place so I booked it was more than happy to pay a deposit the room was lovely just as described reception is open from 4 pm until 10 pm with a additional phone line if need anybody . At 12.32 AM at night we was receiving knocks at the window and then I was woke up from my wife to inform me off kids trying to climb into our room as we was in a ground floor property after trying to find staff and contact was non existent stayed awake as was to hot close windows and no fan provided to raise the concerns in the morning funny enough no reception at all only 4 pm until 10 pm with raising my concerns owners have started not there problem to be blunt after email contact . So I’m giving my honest review all partners was just concerned of taking the room fee and nothing more many thanks for my stay .

Stayed at Rectory Farm last weekend with my boyfriend. We were so pleasantly surprised. The hotel being a 3 star we didn't have much expectation, but it was lovely! The grounds are gorgeous, brilliant location to the city centre (10 mins drive), we stayed in the main house and the room was great. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return again. Highly recommended.

Attractive complex, but difficult to reach without a car (10-minute walk to the nearest bus stop). Please note: not suitable for groups, as there is no attractive lounge area apart from the terrace and garden – which seems to be very explicitly discouraged. The pretty breakfast room is locked after breakfast, the so-called bar can seat about two people and closes at 10 p.m., there is no lobby and the so-called “lounge” is a windowless cubbyhole with three crammed-in sofas, locked from 10 p.m. onwards... all in all, not very inviting. The rooms are really okay, but the whole complex is completely deserted during the day, you have to pay for everything extra, everything is constantly locked (pool use costs £5), the service is very sparse overall – if there are any staff present at all, they tend to be defensive, and there is never anyone there who can make any decisions.

Stayed here for 2 nights in September 2025. The location is OK for Cambridge, but is 15 minutes drive into town. The price was acceptable. The grounds are nice. Our room was pretty small. It was cold on arrival, but we were able to put the temperature up. The marquis was very cold in the evening and there was no heating, although I saw one of the staff putting the heater away earlier in the day. No hand towels were provided in the bathroom and only 1 tiny bar of soap - no shampoo or shower gel. The toilet paper was the thinnest I have ever seen. The WiFi was very poor - I doubt you could do a video call here. The reception was very poorly managed and several guests in our large group had difficulties getting a room, despite booking months previously. Astonishingly, the parents of the bride had to drive home after the reception as the hotel had somehow lost some of their group booking! The housekeeping team were all very nice and friendly. The hotel wanted £5 extra to use the pool and £4.99 if you ordered a takeaway, (even though they don't have a restaurant after breakfast). Parking was £5, which is unusual for a countryside location and very strangely it was £20 for a large car or van, even if it fitted in a regular parking slot. To top it all, the brothers of the groom were having a sing song after the band went home and have been threatened with a £1,000 to £2,000 penalty. It was fairly late - but this was a wedding celebration. I wouldn't book anything here ever.

Great rooms, good value. I thought the buffet breakfast was of an ok standard and therefore poor value; I would go into the centre of Cambridge another time. Staff largely absent which can make it seem a little soulless. The location is awkward if wanting to spend time in Cambridge; too far to walk, cycling combative with other road users, and my experience generally of parking in Cambridge is ticket-happy traffic wardens, so be careful.

Lovely location and rooms, quite thin walls and the mattress was quite soft and springy, but I had quiet neighbours and will sleep on anything

Hotel Felix is a charming Victorian-era villa located just a short drive from central Cambridge. The hotel features chic and airy quarters, an award-winning restaurant called Graffiti, and a polished bar. Guests can also enjoy the relaxed garden-facing terrace for informal lunches and al fresco dining. The hotel's Orangery offers seasonally-themed menus with a variety of fish, meat, and vegetarian options as well as traditional afternoon tea.
Found this hotel after searching for a dog friendly place in Cambridge, not too many. I know Cambridge really well having been born there but didn’t recall this hotel. It’s based about a 10 minute drive or half hour walk from the city centre. This was a short break to visit family and for my wife to have a chance to experience the excellent shopping in Cambridge. The hotel is easy to find and the staff are very efficient and friendly. Dogs are allowed in selected rooms, the orangery and the grounds. The room was plenty large enough and comfortable for 2 people and 2 large Labrador dogs. Good facilities including mini bar and powerful shower. The restaurant was excellent for dinner, breakfast and morning coffee can be taken in the orangery. Overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely return.

Attended Graffiti for a private dinner in the upstairs dining room - great ambiance. Food is good, although relatively small dishes which left a few at the table still peckish. Attentive service. The wine list is quite extensive, and the bar downstairs well stocked. We didn't stay at the hotel so no comment offered there.

Nice ambiance. Excellent sleep (mattress and pillows), calm and quiet. Rooms clean - too warm initially (in February), but adjustable. However, missed some adequate light in the bathroom for proper shaving and did not like the „techno“-type of „music“ that was forced on the people in the bar (an elder couple left because of the „noise pollution“). The server argued that the management insists in playing this (inappropriate) music. Well, if the personal opinion of the management counts more than the comments of the customers....

Comfortable rooms but appalling service. From the moment we arrived the service was lacking, there was a wedding on the same night and the staff could not cope with it and regular guests although it was a very small wedding. We were told we could not book dinner until 20:15 but when we came downstairs the restaurant was empty but it was almost impossible to get any waiter's attention. I was absolutely parched as I wasn't drinking wine and had to keep chasing the waiters to refill my water glass all evening. There was a complete lack of attention all evening. The food was good but it was my wedding anniversary and it was ruined. I don't recommend the place at all.

Great hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower unit ( just me !). The staff are super friendly and helpful with great advice about the local area. It would have been 5 stars, it's just the cooked side of the breakfast for me wasn't up to scratch. A colleague order a full english, just a lack of care with the food. My scrambled egg with smoked salmon, a lot of egg not so much salmon. I think it would have been nicer, served as Eggs Royal. If you can do that Eggs Benedict / Florentine is that far off, unfortunately not offered on the breakfast menu. But the breakfast tea was really enjoyable.

Great up-market dog friendly hotel, after arriving we were greeted with a doggy goody bag. We ate with her in the orangery, were we had a big family lunch. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They boast large grounds to walk the dog, however it’s just a grassed boundary and garden area, nothing massive. The location was good with easy car access, however, you can walk straight for an hour to the centre of town. We were upgraded to a suite upon check-in, the room was spacious, great decor and facilities. The toiletries are the White Company. Overall amazing experience, we will return.
David L — Google review
Pretty good in many ways. Clean, tidy and good parking. About 20min brisk walk to the town centre. However, amateurish front of house in the restaurant and disorganised kitchen let this establishment down (possible there was a temporary staffing issue, so I'll give them another chance) 1- Denied breakfast which was included in the room as their list was inaccurate. Made to wait for them to check. 2 - Not shown where the buffet was and not told what was available. 3 - Made to order breakfast missing a poached egg. Had to request it. 4 - Table piled up with plates and had to ask more than once for a clear up.

Excellent. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice touch. The hotel was spotless and the staff very attentive. Though the hotel is on the outskirts of Cambridge it is only a 5 minute ride into the centre. Ample car parking at no charge is also a plus. Will return. Thank you.

Autumn House offers guests a comfortable stay, with free Wi-Fi and parking. The guest house is located about 200 m from F.C. Cambridge and 1.5 km away from the historic city center.
This is a fantastic place to stay to explore Cambridge. It's maintained to a very high standard and the owner was very welcoming and informative. Loved the DIY breakfast facility. Spotlessly clean.

Autumn House is what you see from the reviews. It isn't particularly attractive, but it is clean and well run. Al gives a great intro. The kitchen is terrific; it is easy to do your own cooking. There's enough for breakfast to get you started for the day. The location is ok. It is a pleasant walk to the uni, and the bus is convenient. As noted by various reviewers, the downstairs double is about as tiny as a room can be and still accommodate the basics of a hotel room. We knew that going in, so it wasn't a big deal. My two quibbles both have to do with problems when it is hot. The downstairs room is quite close to the street, and we didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open as we slept about a foot away. It would feel more secure if there were a way to affix it open just a couple of inches. The second quibble is with the duvet system. Please provide a duvet and a top sheet. We had to dismantle the duvet to get comfortable on a hot night. We were ok with just the duvet cover, but too hot to sleep with the duvet.

Mediocre in standard. What's Good? Bus stop is close by and easy to get into Cambridge city centre. It's has 3 free parking slots and street parking. Cereal, milk, yoghurt, bread etc are provided and you can have your breakfast early. What's NOT great: it can be noisy as its on the main road; air quality may be an issue if you have asthma; room n bed for two can be small; bed is soft and not good if you have back pain; we spotted mice droppings in the room. It's a decent accomodation but not great!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Host was friendly and very helpful with things to do and places to eat in the local area, and gave details instructions regarding the buses to and from the city centre. The room was great, spacious, lovely decor, as was the bathroom. I would definitely reccomend staying here to anybody.

Cambridge City Rooms offers cozy and individually decorated rooms in a modest guesthouse with a communal kitchen. The 1920s house is located in the historical region of Cambridge, offering convenience and a beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the accommodating host and comfortable, relaxing interior. The booking process is smooth, with detailed check-in instructions provided via email for contact-less check-in due to Covid.
I stayed in one of the single rooms. Great price/quality ratio. The booking process went smoothly, the day of arrival you receive an email with the check-in indications (contact-less check-in due to Covid), the indications were detailed and easy to follow. The room was clearly recently renovated, all the furniture was pretty new or in good condition. The bathroom was small but all the appliances worked fine, the showerhead had good water pressure (I'm a bit picky with this detail). Used the kitchen only a few times but it was big and clean, 2 fridges, 2 microwaves, etc, coffee machines, all the necessary stuff. Location is really good, ~15 mins walking from King's College (City Center). Sainsburys in less than 5 mins walking and Tesco in less than 10. WiFi was fast and stable, this was specially critical for me as I was working remotely a few days of my stay. The only issue I found was the noise from the street. My room (number 7) was facing the street, Mill Road, which happens to be one of the busiest roads in Cambridge, and unfortunately the windows havent been replaced, they are thin glass, therefore specially during the morning the room was a bit noisy, nothing unbearable, I got used to it quite quickly, but just something to keep in mind. Replacing the windows with thicker, noise cancelling ones would solve this issue (note to the owners) Overall a great stay for a really good price.

+ Very stylish rooms in an apartment style, would be a great stay for young people, students, couples and possibly travelers. Incredibly well equipped with hairdryer, iron, coffee etc. Kitchen was an excellent addition but I didn’t really use it as was just staying overnight for a meeting. Good location, walkable to the centre. - The £100 deposit was held for 7 days, left me short and was more than the price of the room. Some of the staff struggled with comminicating well in English so customer service suffered, the radiator was right next to the toilet and burnt me, the curtains didn’t open and close properly and it was a ground floor room which I wasn’t notified of in advance. The buzzers at the door go straight to the rooms and there are no staff on site. Check in wasn’t staggered so everyone arrived at 3pm to one member of staff. Just a few niggles which could be ironed out to make the hotel more attractive to business customers.

Since I found it suitable in terms of location and price, I completed my reservation process by making the payment through Hotels.com about a week before my stay. The next day I received an e-mail from the host company saying I needed to pay a £100 deposit within 24 hours, otherwise they reserve the right to cancel my booking. I’ve tried but the payment system on their website didn’t work and there was a message that authorization would be made 24 hours before the visit. I wrote to the host and they said there’ll be no cancellation because I’ve paid for the room. But the last day I had the same problem, they held me on the line to solve the system problem but couldn’t manage for 3 hours, they still insisted on the deposit otherwise they wouldn’t send the check-in info. I was late for a lot of things and if I didn’t have a friend in the UK who did a bank transfer I would be looking for a new place on the last day with high prices. If this is your system's fault you shouldn’t insist on a deposit. The location is fine, room no.8 was not bad for 1 person to stay. The blinds were ruined but I fixed them. Bed springs were a bit squeaky. I didn’t receive any check-out information but I did everything reversed and sent a message to the host via Hotels. I didn’t receive any feedback on this. When they received the deposit, they said they’d refund in 2 days after my visit ended but they haven’t. Me and my friend wrote to them, and they managed the refund on the 5th day of checkout. I was lucky that I have an awesome friend there, otherwise, this journey would be a nightmare. They are still kind in their messages; however, problem-solving and customer satisfaction are awful.

Worst place I have ever stayed! Only positive was stable wifi and hot water, although the shower head was broken. Very tired and grotty, mattress was very uncomfortable and had a broken spring. I had 5 nights here as a last resort when my original booking cancelled at the last minute. Facilities are poor, room is dated with mish mash of broken tired furniture. The UK was experiencing a heatwave and with no aircon it was very uncomfortable, open the window and subjected to traffic and pedestrian chatter and flies. If you are unfortunate enough to be allocated a room at the front of the property then expect zero sleep as Mill Road is very busy and noisy, just does not stop. No way worth 80 pounds a night. Basic budget accommodation just not up to it. AVOID!!! Absolutely crap...
Ade M — Google review
Pretty good accomodation. Everything clean, simple but comfortable. The bed was good, bathroom just fine, warm, quiet. There is a communal kitchen for everybody who wants to take breakfast or put something in the fridge. Very clear instructions about picking/dropping the key. The location is great, just at the corner of the park. Easy to find. Lots of little shops and restaurants/cafes in the vicinity. I recommend it for a low budget trip.
Adriana P — Google review
Where to even start? Firstly, I was not sent any booking confirmation upon paying for the room on their website. I had to chase them firstly for a receipt, and then twice for check in info. I was told they don't send it until you've paid the deposit, which I'd tried to pay when I first booked the room but apparently it didn't go through because they don't take it or give you any information until the day you're due to stay. They didn't even give me the address until after I'd chased them for it, the night before. I received the check in info as late as possible on the day I arrived, in almost unreadably tiny font in an email. The info provided neglected to mention where in the building the studio actually was, so I wasted time looking around the inside of the main building trying to find it. When I tried to phone the customer service number given in the check in info, the line hung up on me before I got through to someone. All of this was stressful and wasted my time, which made me late for my dinner. The check out info was similarly only provided on the morning we were leaving, even though this really should have come the night before or at the start of your stay with the check in info. An altogether needlessly poor and confusing process. And this isn't even mentioning the state of the room yet. The room smelt because of the kitchenette sink, which was unclean. The heating didn't work because the remote control was broken, so it wouldn't turn on. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly and there was no hot water in the shower. The sink was also too small and too close to the toilet, making the bathroom incredibly poky and cramped. No hand soap was provided. The blinds were hard to work and let a lot of light through. There was only one bedside table even though there was easily enough space for two. The mattress was super uncomfortable - it sank in the middle, so had no back support and was incredibly lumpy and full of springs, so we both spent the entire weekend feeling very sore and unrested. All in all, the room was so grim, we put off going back to it at the end of the day and genuinely considered trying to find somewhere else to stay for the second night. The location was literally the only decent thing about it, along with the fact that the main house had a shared kitchen and living room area where we were able to chill for an hour to put off having to go back to the room. I genuinely considered sleeping on the sofa. I'm giving it 1 star purely for the location (& also because Google won't let me give it 0 stars). Ultimately we felt ripped off and regretted choosing to stay there. Avoid at all costs and pay more for somewhere better.
Hannah P — Google review
Does the job. Nice and clean room. Access to kitchen if you want to cook your own food etc. The only downsides are the faffy checking in procedure where you need to sign a document online and upload an image of your ID, and the fact it's next to a busy road, that could be noisy at night and early morning. The bed wasn't overly comfy, but again, it did the job.
Fredrik W — Google review
There are no reception at the building. Had to call someone to sort us out. Eventually we got the keys and we did find where everything was and the facilities were decent. I just think the checking in process as well as payment process were too much of a hassle and were not very clear. Some of us also had to pay deposit whilst other didn't. For a long stay, it can be recommended because of the location but for a short stay it's far too much of a hassle when you just want a bed for a night or two.

Helen was fantastic. She did a painless blood draw and was efficient and friendly. The Phlebotomy service for an external clinic is £50. Took 10 mins. We did the walk in that opens at 9am and there was no queue at that time.

I had an appointment with Deborah and was extremely disappointing. For 30 min before her attempt for massage, she decided to question me about my personal life and try to get me to find "someone who i can talk to" about my weight and other personal matters. At first, I thought she was questioning because of needs for the massage. I explained that I had done a lymphatic drainage massage before and exactly how and what happened. After which she started to diagnose me with whatever she thought she could fool or scare me. Although previously she mentioned she is not a doctor. I told her that yes, I do have a medical problem. She tried to push on but when I asked what is the connection between the conversation about my weight and the massage she said oh nothing. After she explained a little bit about the lymphatic system we started the so called massage. But there was no oil, no relax, no nothing. My skin was being pulled, she kept asking even about my partner while she was literally just touching me in very weird ways. True with lymphatic massage there are those a bit weird movements and touches. But I am not talking about this. It was sloppy and not quite right. Coming on the talking part - there was way too much talking. It felt extremely weird and uncomfortable. Another thing that made me also very uncomfortable were the remarks about my skin (i'm olive skinned, not white). By the end of it I just wanted to run away. By the end of the day, everything was hurting and throbbing, not in the way one feels after a massage. In conclusion, I think that was not a professional who can help me in the slightest. Good luck to the practise, but I'm not coming back again.

I am absolutely thrilled with the clinic where I rent my private aesthetic room! The entire team has made me feel so welcome and supported from day one. The facilities are top-notch and immaculately maintained, but it's the staff that truly sets this clinic apart. They are warm, friendly, and always go above and beyond to ensure I feel comfortable and confident in my space. The level of professionalism and expertise is exceptional, and I've witnessed firsthand the care and dedication they bring to every client. I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of this clinic community and can't recommend it highly enough!

I've been renting a room at Salus for almost 2 years. I went to other clinics too before making my decision, but they were either to snooty or didn;t get back to me. The team at Salus made me feel welcome. Clinic Director Massimo is always at hand to listen and support. The clinic is calm and quiet, which is important for me as a Hypnotherapist. The kitchen is equipped with an espresso machine, coffee/tea etc. I have clients who come to see me from Europe. As they work during the week, the week ends is when they can travel. Salus is accessible 7 days a week which is really helpful. Very happy here.

From therapy to physio therapy... Salus is my one stop for my health needs. I have met the best physiotherapist, Stefano Lombardi, here. He is amazing. Massimo really cares for people's well being. What you need to run a truly exceptional wellness centre is empathy and thr ability to pick out the best possible people for the services offered. And he has both. Highly recommended

I'm a practitioner based at Salus Wellness and have been for a number of years now. The premises are excellent and are ideal for the work I do as a Thrive Programme Coach. The premises are close to both the rail station and the city centre which is great. The rooms I use are also comfortable, clean and always well prepared for me. Both Massimo, and the reception staff are always friendly, welcoming and there to help. Thank you to all those at Salus Wellness for creating this great, professional space for us. I strongly recommend Salus Wellness Clinics to clients and practitioners alike.

Cambridge Bed and Breakfast is a charming guesthouse set in an Edwardian home, offering individually decorated rooms and a delicious breakfast. Situated in a peaceful residential area within walking distance of Cambridge city center, this B&B provides comfortable en-suite rooms with tasteful furnishings. The accommodating hosts ensure excellent customer service, making guests feel at home.
Welcoming warm and clean. Ample variety of buffet breakfast items. One minor point is that whilst our hospitality tray was replenished daily, the room was not otherwise serviced. We hung the card requesting our room be serviced on the doorknob, but it didn't happen. This is a very minor point but small things like that are important for the overall image of the establishment. Would certainly recommend.

A lovely BnB to stay in. The room was compact but had absolutely everything and a very comfortable bed, and tasteful decoration. Breakfast was excellent. There is even a fridge and freezer for guest use, which was great for storing the food we had in the car (long drives). And the hosts are very kind and attentive people.

What a lovely B&B; very nice room, spotlessly clean everywhere, and clearly decorated with lots of love. Located close to the river Cam, on a nice walk's (across Jesus Green) distance to the city centre. The hosts are lovely people and they provide a wonderful breakfast and excellent service with lots of attention to detail. Highly recommended!

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend in August. From the first phone call to arrange our booking and throughout our stay the level of customer service was excellent. The B&B is run by a lovely couple who have created a beautiful home away from home. We were a family travelling with our elderly parents. All the rooms have attached ensuite bathrooms and there was also a room on the ground floor which was great for our parents who find the stairs difficult. The place is imaculately clean and even my mum who has high cleaning standards had to comment. They catered to all our needs and went out of their way to go above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent. Just a few minutes drive to all the local attractions and parking was also available. Breakfast was excellent with such a variety on the menu and additional items. Would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of a visit to Cambridge.

I only stayed for 2 nights, but it was so nice & cozy! Selma was a wonderful host and was able to accommodate me very last minute. While making the reservations of the phone, she let me know they were renovating an upstairs bathroom and that they were experiencing technical issues for their payment system so we would need to find an alternate means of payment. I loved the heads up and none of this was an issue for me. I wasn’t at the B&B for most of the work hours, but when I was nice & quiet, I couldn’t even tell they were renovating the upstairs. Selma was very sweet and served an amazing breakfast both mornings I was there. I just did they “buffet” option the first morning and it was all delicious. Lots of tea options with very cute tea sets. The second morning I had the full English breakfast (first time!) and that was amazing as well! There was an option of assorted teas in the room too if I wanted any tea outside of breakfast times. The room was about the size I would expect at a B&B in the UK (I’m American) and it had the toilet & sink behind one door in the room and the shower behind another door. There weren’t any plugs in the bathroom and limited plugs in the room by itself, but they had a power strip with extra plugs on the tea dresser. There was also a mirror on the wall up behind the tea dresser, so I could plug in the hair dryer and use the mirror to do my hair! The room I had also had a sliding glass door that led to a little porch. The B&B is a nice little walk along the river and into town. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay! I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone else staying there!

Nice, well decorated, welcoming small B & B. A bit further from the colleges than we thought it would be with fewer dining options than we would have wished. Charming host provided us with much helpful information and was able to get us a cab quickly on a very rainy morning.

The New Museums Site in Cambridge is home to a variety of fascinating museums, including the Fitzwilliam Museum and the University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Exploring these cultural institutions feels like stepping into a time machine, with each museum offering unique insights into art, history, and anthropology. While the temptation to stay outdoors on a beautiful day is strong, these museums are definitely worth a visit for anyone interested in delving into the rich heritage of Cambridge.
