Korean restaurant
Buffet restaurant
Chicken wings restaurant
Seoul Bistro is a laid-back restaurant in Sunnybank, known for its extensive buffet of Korean-style fried chicken, as well as a variety of burgers and bowls. The establishment has gained popularity for its Korean-inspired crispy chicken wings, particularly the yang nyum (sweet and spicy) or honey wasabi flavors paired with kimchi fries. One of their main attractions is the $21.
Ate here with my teenage son and his two friends. They came ready to eat! We ordered the unlimited wing buffet and they had a feast. I ordered the chicken tenders lunch special for myself. All servings were huge and delicious. The staff were attentive and polite and constantly checking in to see if the boys needed any more food. Highly recommend!
Angela B — Google review
BEST CHICKEN TENDERS in Brisbane! The tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and so well-seasoned. If you like spicy food, you won’t regret ordering the spicy tenders! The chips were thin and crispy too — everything was just spot on. Fast service, great prices. I’ll definitely be coming back. Well done team!
Mali F — Google review
Hands down the best wings I’ve had in Queensland! Super crispy, juicy, and loaded with flavour. Been visiting this place for more than 10 times now they never miss. Portion sizes are great and everything is cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to come back for more!
Shehan — Google review
Been visiting since the restaurant opened and the buffet was about $10 cheaper. Hasn’t stopped us going, though- the service has improved, the atmosphere is upbeat and the chicken wings are great- I’m glad the flavours are more streamlined and they’ve really tightened up on the seasoning and it’s much more consistent. My little has been visiting since he was 1 and is almost 7- he’s not into the wings yet but he sure does love the buttermilk tenders! The booking system is easy to use and very welcome. Would love to see a second location open up in Toowong! One location just isn’t enough!
Luxe P — Google review
My partner and I were looking for a new place to eat and decided to try Seoul Bistro. The food looked delicious on the website. We got there, we didn't have a booking (didnt know we needed to book a table) and were told there were only tables outside, i was just getting over a cold and would have liked to have been inside, but they had outdoor heaters so I said "thats okay". We were placed on the furthest table away, almost sitting at the next shop, no heater was turned on for us, and a bunch of noisy school kids swearing and laughing sitting at the bench in front of us. It wasn't the best start to our dinner. We ordered the buttermilk chicken tenders, on plain and one spicy (it wasn't spicy), along with the chicken, cheese, and gravy loaded fries. It was okay, pretty much something I could make at home, but I'd add more flavour. If i were to go back there, i doubt I will, i will give their chicken wings a try, and I'd book a table and pray for a better experience.
Kristy ( — Google review
I was a regular here but as of today I'll find a place where the cooks won't mess with your food. I ordered a Fire Burger without Jalapenos as usual but today they decided to put double the amount. Either they thought it was a joke or they're clueless. It won't be so funny when someone has a severe reaction. As a business owner, the cooks responsible should lose their jobs immediately. Either way I'm not returning.
D — Google review
When you have buffet you will get larger chicken wings and have a look what the size is in a single individual order. 22 pieces included some half wings costs $35. The quality of the dish is completely different from buffet. I have to say they are trying to push you have buffet…….😡😡😡 Also some chicken had what looked to be bite marks, and it saddens me that other reviews said the same thing. The chicken was so overcooked and dry, tasted nothing moist or flavourful as before.
Xinqiang S — Google review
OH MY GYATT!! This place is so fire! Wings are to die for and Ngl the garlic bread is better than your raising canes dupes. Tried the endless wings, flavour, flavour, flavour!! DAMNNNNN!! Vibes high, wish they played my little soda pop. But other than that atmosphere is crazyyyy. And the service is amazing, no chopped waitresses or waiters!!! Fire emoji*

King Of The Wings is a popular food truck in Brisbane that has now opened its flagship store in Stafford. The outdoor laneway dining area is perfect for families with kids, offering boneless wings and a cheeseburger with fries at an affordable price. The menu features a variety of flavors for their signature chicken wings, including the award-winning Southern Style and Bee Sting wings. In addition to wings, they also serve smokey ribs, cold beers, and cocktails.
Most definitely the best tasting ribs so far! Wings are great so tender and juicy and seasoned very well..lovely lady attending to us as well.highly recommend this place.👍
Jei Y — Google review
Delicious wings - especially love their take on the spicy Buffalo style wing. BBQ sauce is on point as well as the Southern style wings. Onion rings were CRISPY and the sweet potato wedges were perfect. And they had Dr Pepper!! All the American love! 10/10
Helen C — Google review
The food was amazing we got the southern style and portuguese crumb. The extra wing/rib sauce was very nice too. Service was really helpful, attentive, and prompt. They have a really cool outdoor seating area and good music selection. We were still hungry at the end so bought another 10 pack of southern style wings to take home, a photos attached!!
Jack G — Google review
Ordered full rack of pork ribs (comes with salad and fries), 30 pieces chicken wings and sweet potatoes fries - this was shared amongst 5 adults and it was plenty! The price is really reasonable too, roughly $20 per person. Didn’t get a good picture as I was busy enjoying the meal. The table had no napkins or cutlery, had to ask for them a couple of times, otherwise everything else was great. Parking was easy to find on a Sat night too.

We have been regulars since 2021, however over the last year, the quality and consistency has dropped significantly to the point we now choose elsewhere. I haven't reviewed previously and have been debating whether to post, however I will mitigate any potential owner responses here: 1. Did we tell the staff? No, the quality issues has been over multiple visits where we got all legs, wrong flavours that all tasted alike, or poor quality chicken. We ordered takeaway and gave the benefit of the doubt the first couple of times, so we never discovered until we got home. Our visits are often a couple of months apart as we have an abundance of great options nearby! 2. Slow service. Even after receiving the text saying our order is ready, it's usually a 15+ minute wait. I love to see a busy local business, however this has been a trend for 4 years. The team are super lovely, however slow service combined with difficulty ordering due to their phone isn't a great combination. We usually have to place multiple phone calls. 3. Was it a busy day? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I know we can't see the dockets in the kitchen as the owner responded to another review, however these issues have been consistent - not just one occasion. Lastly, I will say that your team are lovely, however the way you respond to Google reviews seems to be to blame the customer. This is why customers often don't address these reviews in person or via email. We haven't been back after giving multiple chances, but I hope our feedback is taken on board.

I wanted to share my disappointment with the service at your Eat Street food truck today. The girl working at the counter was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude. It’s really surprising that someone with that behavior is the face of your business. I went there with my friends, excited to recommend The Wing Box because I’ve been to your Stafford location several times and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, we all left disappointed because of how poorly we were treated. It honestly makes me not want to come back, which is a shame because I’ve always loved your food. I hope you address this issue so future customers don’t have the same experience.

King of the Wings is a must-try! The wings & Ribs were insanely good —Big shoutout to Laylah, Paris, and Sienna for the amazing service and good vibes. Great food, great people — I recommend this place

The absolute and undeniable best chicken wings in Brisbane, I have ordered 3 different times via door dash and uber eats and everytime the quality is absolute top tier. Amazing flavours and still arrives fresh and hot! Would highly recommended this business to everyone! Give them a go 💯

The Smoke BBQ, located in the trendy Brisbane suburb of New Farm, is renowned as the city's first American barbecue restaurant. Specializing in cooking smoky, juicy, and tender meats, The Smoke offers a laid-back vibe and a casual rear patio for diners to enjoy. Their menu features classic comfort food such as beef brisket, beef ribs, pork belly, pork ribs, lamb ribs, smoked chicken, and premium rib eye steak.
Wow Wow Wow!! What a fabulous experience. We went out of our way to try this restaurant and were definately NOT disappointed. From the friendly hospitality on entrance to the out of this world yummy food it was all wonderful. The lamb ribs were just divine, the brisket so butter soft and The New York strip with peppercorn sauce to die for. We were greeted with a very lovely waitress called Chelsea who looked after us and nothing was too hard. If youre looking for a great relaxing atmosphere with good food good music friendly staff then this is the place. we're going again ;)
Koalabearqld — Google review
I visited for lunch on May 1st.Table service was good. The food wasn't good. We ordered a share platter for six adults. The beef ribs were too chewy and hard. The other beef brisket ribs looked soft, but the surface was dry and All ribs didn't look freshly made. It didn't smell like smoke, it wasn't warm. I recommended a restaurant to my friends, and I felt sorry for them.
Ashley K — Google review
****DRY and TOUGH RIBS**** If you love ribs, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs and they were the toughest driest pork ribs I've ever had. No smokey flavour and smothered in a thick layer of basic BBQ sauce. The meat does NOT fall off the bone, it was quite the battle to cut off. The fried chicken had zero flavour aside from the oil it was cooked in. Fries were nice, but not beer battered as advertised. Chicken wings were dry, shrivelled and covered in a cheap sauce to hide the fact. I highly recommend you go elsewhere if you like quality BBQ style food.
Ryan — Google review
I celebrated my birthday here with my sisters and we loved it. We miss some american style ribs from pork and beef. This is gotta be the place to get your protein! Buffalo wings are awesome together with their dipping sauce, we asked for second-round. 😅 The lady served us with a smile! I forgot her name but she's chubby and welcoming. We ate outside and the atmosphere could not get any better. People looking at our ribs platter and extras, some beers and sun. Perfect lunch!
Ferlene F — Google review
Very popular local restaurant. It was packed when we came here but obviously within the parameters of COVID compliance. Friendly and efficient customer service. Finger licking food. We had the Kansas Buffalo wings . It was delicious. We also had the Pulled pork plate and Memphis rub pork belly. All main course meals came with salad and chips. Great servings and will definitely return.⭐⭐⭐

Dropped in for a quick burger, looking at the menu I knew they would punch out a good burger. I was wrong it was the best burger I've had since I can remember. The brisket loaded fries to match. Yes I conquered it, no I didn't need dinner. This place is fantastic, the staff were absolutely on the top of their game. Hands down a 10 out of 5. 🥳🚨😎
Andrew — Google review
Our family had a great lunch at your restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday. All staffs were super friendly and food were amazing🙌 Especially the American spring roll brought whole new flavour which was really good. Thanks for the birthday cake. Hope you guys are doing well during lockdown🥰

I've been to all 3 Bluegrass venues, and they are always amazing. The food is always perfect. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the vibe is always good. My favourite place for a celebration dinner or lunch. And the cocktails are 10/10.

Red Hook is a New York-style laneway bar located in Gresham Lane, just off Queen Street. The ambiance feels distinctly Brooklyn with its exposed chipboard and concrete decor. The menu offers a variety of options including cheeseburgers, NYC hot dogs, Red Hook lobster rolls, Kung Fu duck tacos, and creative cocktails. This spot is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
It was so delicious! The atmosphere of the place was great, and the staff were super friendly. When I couldn’t find the menu name and was a bit confused, they kindly helped me out, and their cheerful attitude made me feel good too! The burger was tasty, but the hot dog was especially amazing!! 😊

Classic American burger joint. The hamburger meat has quite a strong flavor,The chicken burger also has an American feel.,The chicken wings were also pretty good. The store is small and the dining environment is simple.Semi-open-air dining environment.Maybe the night has a different flavor. Overall it's worth a try.

Solo Eater 🍔 Beef Uptown Funk 🍗 Chicken wings with Red Hook Glaze and Small Salt & Vinegar fries Found this gem after learning it was closing down. Now I regret I didn't discover this American restaurant earlier as the food was delicious without getting the bloated feeling afterwards. The burger while on the expensive side made me crave another one. Even just with 6 chicken wings, you feel full and the blue cheese dip is icing on the cake. Wishing all the best to the staff.
Christer B — Google review
The wings with the red hook glaze is the biggest standout - definitely get that on the menu! A delicious sweet and tangy sauce with ranch sauce to compliment. The duck taco was a tad dry and potentially better quality tortilla could have been used. Cheeseburger was very tasty!
Johnson H — Google review
A lovely hidden gem that's perfect for a burger fix. Located in Gresham Lane, it's close to public transport and Queens Mall. The menue had a good selection of burgers and other street food. I had the Grandmaster Flash burger. Burger was generously portioned, and I loved the smokey hit from the mayo. The addition of vinigar with the chips was an added bonus! Will definitely come back.
James R — Google review
Tucked away in a laneway inbetween the HSBC building and the old National Australia Bank, Red Hook is a hidden gem bringing a taste of American street food to Brisbane. I had the Classic Brooklyn Cheeseburger, and it was top notch! The 100 percent queensland beef patty was juicy and full of flavour, perfectly complemented by the melted cheese and a soft sesame seed bun. The pickle on top added just the right crunch and tang to round out the experience. To go with it, I sipped on their Four Pillars Gin Spritz, a real refreshing, citrusy cocktail that paired beautifully with the richness of the burger. The laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, and NBA playing on the screen made it the perfect spot to unwind. If you’re after some delicious American style eats and great drinks in a cool city laneway, Red Hook is the place to be. Cheers, Bernie

We found this one place by accident. Love my burger, however the fries were a bit soft not crispy enough. Very full and filling.

Nice food, good but not perfect. Chicken burgers (have had 2 now) are a touch dry, and the chips are very salty. Vinegar level on the chips is perfect though, and the meat level is generous.

Tippler's Tap is a trendy craft-beer bar with a cozy timber decor and alpine wall murals. They serve up delicious chicken wings and sliders, making it a great spot for casual dining. While the dining options at Gailey Fiveways and St Lucia Golf Links are pricier and not as conveniently located, Tippler's Tap offers affordable food and drink options.
Great spot, awesome beer, delicious burgers!! We had the beer and burger deal. Can recommend enough. You won't be disappointed!!! ❤️

Have been eating their wings for about 10 years since their original shop in New Farm/Valley. I dont ever order any other food so cant speak for anything else. Pricey now compared to back in the day, but worth every bite, especially with their complimentary hot sauces. They used to give you Franks sauce for free as well but charge a dollar now. Beer range is always good.

The playlist lured us in and we’re so glad we made the choice to stay. Perfect Sunday vibe with Everclear, Creed, Shinedown, Jet and so on. Just banger after banger. We got the Sunday special BBQ platter and it was excellent. Self serving beer taps and some great music is the best way to spend your Sunday! NB - if you’re not a UFC fan (as we aren’t), then be prepared to have the fight come on right in the middle of your favourite song. Slight dampener on our time, but if we were UFC fans I’m sure we’d be in heaven!

Some very good wines and a few good local beers. The burgers were massive and so tasty
Nicholas B — Google review
Love this place!!!! If you’re in south bank and you’re a true craft beer lover, come and pour your own beer. There was a nutcase table behind us being rude to staff who quite calmly had them removed and rightly so… they handled it very professionally and checked on us after. Really friendly crew. Come support your local business who loves beer!
Phil M — Google review
Stopped in for a few drinks with some mates on a Friday evening. The novelty of pouring your own drink is certainly fun. Certainly a good atmosphere and good service from the crew that work there. We didn't have any food so can't speak to that. The drinks could be slightly cheaper given you are pouring your own. However, still definitely recommend going as you do get your money's worth.
Thomas S — Google review
I’m sitting here, waiting for my food. I ordered 70 min ago. We’ve asked how long it will be and just received attitude from the server. I had to pay before getting my food, so now I’m sitting in hangry prison. This was probably the worst decision of my life. Update: I had to leave for a business meeting before my food ever arrived. I got a message saying the food was ready 90 min after I ordered. Considering I never ate, this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. And the most expensive glass of water I’ve ever purchased. Update 2 (after owner reply): For the readers out there, notice the owner’s response does not have any form of an apology or suggestion of improving. This mirrors the attitude the staff gave us when we were there. Yes, there was a local protest. But the restaurant was 3/4 empty after a 60 min wait for my food, so what was the excuse for the last 30 min? I didn’t write my initial review until 70 min after ordering/paying. Clearly I understood they were busy and was overly patient. They force you to pay before you get your meal, but don’t care about service since they already have your money. Also, the manager should’ve better prepared for a busy lunch given the protest. It’s clearly just a poorly run restaurant with no care for the customer.

Stopped in at Tippler’s Tap in Brisbane the other arvo and honestly, what a cracking spot. The vibe hits you straight away — relaxed, friendly, and full of good energy. We grabbed a couple of pints of their Bright Tropical Tippler Ale, and mate, it went down way too easily. Nice and crisp with just the right hit of fruitiness — perfect for a warm Brissy afternoon. You can tell they take pride in their beer here; every pint tastes fresh and clean off the tap. For food, I went with the Reuben sandwich, and it was absolutely spot on. Generous serve, loaded with tender corned beef, melted cheese, tangy sauerkraut and that perfect bite of dressing — all packed into golden toasted bread. Honestly one of the best Reubens I’ve had in a long time. The staff were super friendly and knew their beers inside out, happy to have a yarn and offer suggestions. Between the top-tier food, excellent brews, and chilled atmosphere, Tippler’s Tap nails the balance between a proper craft beer joint and a laid-back local. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to next time I'm in Brizzy.

Big Roddy's Rippin' Rib Shack in South Brisbane is a top contender for the best rib joint in town. With its authentic USA rib joint vibe and paper-lined baskets, it offers a unique dining experience. The menu features must-try items like the ribwich and Jala-Macca-Peno Poppers. Additionally, they offer daily specials such as $10 pork ribwich on Mondays and $1 Wing Wednesday.
Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack – South Brisbane: A Rib Lover’s Haven From the moment I walked into Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack in South Brisbane, I was greeted with a warm, friendly vibe. The staff were welcoming and helpful without being overbearing, setting the tone for a relaxed, satisfying meal. The atmosphere strikes a great balance - modern music sets the backdrop without drowning out conversation. The booth seating felt intimate and cozy, while the bar/bench made for a solid spot for solo diners. Décor is simple but fits the American BBQ theme perfectly - nothing overdone, just the essentials to let the food shine. Ordering was super convenient; I scanned the QR code at my table and placed my order online. The place was about half full, and service was quick - everything arrived fresh and hot. I imagine things could slow down a bit during peak times, but my experience was smooth. Now to the ribs. Big Roddy’s claim to fame is well-earned. I went with the half rack of pork ribs in the original house-made sauce - not because I didn’t trust them, but because I wasn’t super hungry. Big mistake! They were so tender I could cut them with a fork, and the flavour was delicious! Chips came hot and crispy, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly salted - like someone actually cared when seasoning them. I also tried the lemon and white pepper dipping sauce on the side - unexpected and surprisingly perfect with the ribs. There are four beers on tap, giving you solid pairing options. Spirits are also available. And for anyone feeling the merch vibes, yep - they’ve got merch! A nice touch: one of the staff shared a bit of their story. Turns out they used to have a second location in The Valley, which sadly didn’t survive the COVID hit. But their South Brisbane spot in Fish Lane is still going strong - and after eating there, it’s easy to see why. Whether you’re craving meat that falls off the bone or just want a relaxed place to unwind with a drink and great music, Big Roddy’s hits the mark. Next time, I’m getting the full rack! ✅ Final Verdict Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack at Fish Lane in South Brisbane (below Soda Apartments) is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts and lovers of hearty American comfort food. Big Roddy’s offers a satisfying and flavorful dining experience that captures the essence of Southern-style BBQ. Whether you're a local or just visiting Brisbane, it's a spot worth adding to your culinary itinerary!

Old fashioned booths and a great place to drink… beers under $10 so thumbs up for me. The beef ribs were awesome and the poutine was as good as Melbourne next to Squires! Haha. Great job team - Roddy you are a legend mate! Keep making peoples lives better!

Search for dinner nearby hotel. We walked pass this restaurant and decided to give a try. Surprisingly the BBQ Ribs are worth to order. Nice beer as well. For 2 persons , we ordered a bit much but we managed to finished all.

This place is amazing, we chose the Cheese burgers which were like a super upgraded Bigmac but so much better. The ribs melted and was amazing, the sweet potato chips are divine...the best flavour and sizing. The Chilli Loaded chips were so good too and highly recommended all of it.
Amanda M — Google review
Genuinely incredible ribs. The meat came so easily off the bone, at the end of the meal the bones looked like they'd been washed. Original sauce flavour was great, and I can highly recommend the Royal Sampler as a decent amount of food and good chance to try both meats. Service was very chill with QR codes to order at the table, and the food came out quickly. Only gripe was the garlic butter on the corn had a distracting lobster/seafood scent?
Alex C — Google review
I was in town, catching up with friends and we were looking for an early lunch. Big Roddy’s was a happy medium with something for everything on the menu especially if you enjoy the beige food group. Order off a QR code and prompt service, we had a pleasant meal.

Buffalo Bar is a trendy American pub in the heart of the CBD, offering a wide range of hearty American meals and an impressive selection of craft beers and whiskey. The menu features a variety of burgers, steaks, ribs, and 8 different styles of wings to choose from. Whether you prefer dry wings like chipotle & garlic or wet wings such as maple mustard, there's something for everyone. The venue also provides a great spot to watch American football while enjoying their Big Texan burger.
First time I have been here and I will be returning. There are 3 distinct areas in this beautiful heritage building - beer garden, bar and dining room. The decor is perfect with warm wood and plants everywhere. There's a range of seating options available with high and low tables. Reservations would be recommended during busy periods. Our meals were fresh, well prepared and delicious. Adjustments were made for one person with a restricted diet and they cut the price. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the nicer bars (decor) in the city that resembles are more rustic/classic pub. While the service is great and the prices fairly reasonable, I found the food to be fairly slapdash. A US Burger was pretty under seasoned and the only just warm enough. The bruschetta was sadly an educated guess at the recipe. Halved cheery tomatoes without olive oil cannot constitute a bruschetta. Roma tomatoes (flesh only) is what you should use, and the bread should be scraped with garlic, not just toasted. I wouldn't be so fastidious if the prices weren't at restaurant prices. For this, I cannot recommend you eat lunch at Buffalo Bar.

Great bar and restaurant! Really accommodating, lovely staff and the food reminded me of the US! The fried pickles are the best. We got 3 serves because they were so yum. Great place to watch a game and they have an excellent beer garden in the back. All the entrees were do good. Very impressed and they even had great vegetarian options!

Delicious lunch! Awesome little outdoor area and a lot of screens to watch sports on. Pork belly bites were great, substantial pork meat which I loved. Gravy with the steak was on point and the chicken wings had a perfect heat to them. Nice work chef.
Desiraye S — Google review
I was somewhere around the bar and checked the Google reviews that they have happy hour promotions and thus decided to check it out. I reached and decided to get a drink but the bar attendant told me that they do not have any promotions on Saturday which is too bad for me. Can't see any promotions menu or poster on the internet either. So yeah I still got a drink afterwards as I was too tired from all the walking. The environment is not bad. The vibes are good. The staff are friendly. Overall it is okay

Visited on a Friday evening for dinner. Really busy but still great service especially from out waiter Liam. Food on point and delivered within 10 minutes. Chilled out happy vibe. Something for everyone with many sports channels to view and great live music.

BLUEGRASS BBQ at Hudson Corner is a cozy and laid-back spot that offers classic American barbecue, burgers, and craft beer for both dine-in and takeaway. With decades of experience in American BBQ, this place is run by four generations of BBQ lovers. The menu features saucy beef baby back ribs, Southern fried chicken, wings, burgers, and their famous four cheese mac 'n' cheese.
Best BBQ I've had in a restaurant in many many years. The food was all fresh and delicious. The service was first class and Jamie was a legend! Well done service team and amazing cooking back of house! Well worth the trip from Brizzy! Did I mention the price? Under $20 for a wonderful feed!
MJ R — Google review
Bluegrass BBQ: A Mixed Plate of Flavors and Frustrations Bluegrass BBQ in Albion presents a rather perplexing paradox: a kitchen capable of producing genuinely excellent barbecue, yet seemingly undermined by a service model that prioritizes social banter over customer attention. During a recent visit, the beef brisket, the true litmus test of any American BBQ establishment, proved to be a compelling case in point. While it leaned towards the drier side, a common pitfall even for seasoned pitmasters, its flavor profile was undeniably exceptional. Each bite resonated with a deep, smoky richness, indicative of a well-handled smoking process and quality ingredients. Equally impressive was the accompanying salad with dill, a surprisingly vibrant and exceptionally good counterpoint to the rich meats, demonstrating a culinary finesse beyond the usual BBQ sides. However, the dining experience was unfortunately marred by slack service. It became apparent that the staff's focus was largely directed towards conversations with patrons at the bar, leading to considerable delays and a distinct lack of attentiveness for those seated at tables attempting to order or request assistance. This oversight detracted significantly from what could have been an otherwise superb meal. In essence, Bluegrass BBQ offers a tantalizing glimpse of its culinary potential, particularly with its flavorful brisket and outstanding dill salad. Yet, the overall impression is tempered by a service standard that requires considerable refinement. For those willing to overlook a laid-back, perhaps overly casual, approach to table service, the delicious food may still warrant a visit. However, an improvement in customer-facing operations would undoubtedly elevate Bluegrass BBQ from a promising local spot to a truly exceptional dining destination.

I had the brisket plate here. The meat was tender and juicy. A decent barbecue place to visit for the group of 2 to 4.

We found this amazing restaurant by chance and it didn't disappoint. The Southern Fried chicken plate was tasty and substantial, the chicken burrito was delicious and the Shroom Boom burger was succulent and crispy. We could not fault any part of this meal. Everything was top notch. The service was fantastic. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed with moderate noise, and our meal was made quickly. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Ingrid H — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious — everything we tried was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere of the place is also very pleasant and inviting. However, the service we received from Georgia was extremely disappointing. She was unfriendly and inattentive, which really took away from the overall experience. It’s a shame to see such poor service in an otherwise wonderful place.
Cristian T — Google review
I don’t normally write reviews but It’s my birthday and I’m away from my family and thought I’d treat myself to a nice rack of ribs just like their photo, what I got wasn’t anything like it, I received a lump of tough beef full of fat with no sauce and this is what I ate before it went into the bin, I expect more from a $63 meal, so disappointed.
Corey R — Google review
We ordered uber eats from this place and not only was the food cold but of bad quality. The buffalo wings were rubbery and bland, beef brisket sandwich - cold and dry. The pulled pork was ok, nice flavour but nothing special. Chips soggy. I understand the quality of food might have been different if we had eaten at the restaurant but takeaway and dine should not differ so much. Very disappointed.

Winghaus Edward Street is a lively sports bar known for its signature chicken wings and extensive selection of 40 beers on tap. It's a great spot to catch a game, enjoy drinks, and indulge in delicious pub grub. The bar offers plenty of screens for sports viewing and attentive servers who make sure you're seated in front of the action. Customers rave about the tasty wings with various flavorful sauces and the diverse beer options that cater to everyone's preferences.
I absolutely love this bar! I’ve been coming here almost every day after school for a beer and some fried chicken for over half a month now. Every time I walk in, the staff warmly greet me with a cheerful ‘Welcome back!’ What’s more, they always go the extra mile—when I order a 1L beer, they often pour a little extra, and even with the fried chicken, I get more than what I pay for. These small details and the warm, thoughtful service make this bar a place I highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming experience.

Very nice food, lovely service and good outdoor seating. Had a wonderful full breakfast on a pizza. Can be shared by a couple of hungry people.

Went for stroll and stumbled across the Winghaus. Wings, burgers, nachos, and most importantly, Beer, and omg do they have beer. 33 different beers on tap, and we arrived at Happy Hour. It was very crowded, but the amazing Jaz saw us standing at the door, thirsty and hungry, and found us a table in a heartbeat. She was amazing. Seated us so quickly and helped us navigate the menu and beer selections, she was just a wonderful human being and an amazing Bar Manager. Well, we loved it so much we brought friends back for a second go. Again, Jaz and the effervescent Euon helped us find a table, and the service was exceptional. This time round we had Classic Wings and Nachos. Be very careful of the hot sauce, because whilst it is so tasty, it sneaks up on you after about the 5th chicken wing! Lol. Overall, this place is great for lunch, Happy Hour, or even a chill on a Sunday arvo with great friends. Definitely one of my favourite places in Brisbane City.

The portions were quite generous which is rare to see these days. The bar vibe was great. Service was quite meh, no one checks on you and prompt you to a QR code which I know some people like but I don't appreciate the impersonal nature. Staff barely greet you and just bring you a dish and don't check on you

If you like a loud, bar scene with a hell of a lot of food, this is your place. They are known for wings and pub food and is a good place for a Friday big HR get together after work. There are so many flavours of wings, it’s a wing lovers paradise. In terms of the vibe here, it is definitely loud and borderline rowdy. There are a lot of TVs showing different sports, there are little table soccer games and other game things around the place. They have people walking around selling shots, if that gives you an idea. Not the type of place to have a quiet conversation… The food is eh. It’s pub food, not bad but not amazing. I had a fish burger which was decent. The chips were good. The wings were so so, I actually enjoyed the carrots and celery that came with them hahaha. Service was decent. You scan a QR code and pay / order on your phone, so it is quite efficient. Food comes decently quickly too. I’d recommend if you’re going on one of those nights out and you’re hungry and thirsty. If you’re looking for more of a sit down dinner chat, this isn’t the place for you.

Great experience at Winghaus! Manish the server was an absolute legend, he looked after us all night and made us feel welcome. Food was sensational, wings and chips are great. Happy Hour is the bomb. Outside is good for less noise.

Easily a 3.7, with good wings and great fries. Only permitted to select one sauce per 10 wings and they did not have gingerale , but they did have a nice selection of beer and drinks, attentive staff, and a great spot to catch sports

Thought we would give it a try. The wait was approximately 40 mins for 2 orders of wings and chips. Wasn’t busy but steady. Wings tasted great but quite small. We had buffalo chips wasn’t keen on the dill. Texas sauce on wings was amazing. Crumbed boneless wings tasted like tenders but were also good. Would we come back im not sure.

Fat Angel Sports Bar and Grill is a popular spot in Kedron, Brisbane, offering a wide range of drinks including beer, cider, spirits, and wine. It's the perfect place for after-work drinks or to catch a game with friends. The bar serves up delicious chicken wings and French fries that are ideal for snacking during sports events. With its prime location overlooking the Brisbane River and equipped with large LED screens and stadium-like sound quality, it provides an immersive experience for sports enthusiasts.
Brilliant wings!!! Stopped in after a trip to blueys world and the food here was close to topping that. I wished I saved room so I could order more wings. Sweet chilli and lime and the bourbon wings were a massive hit. I hope they open a restaurant down in Melbourne.

Fat Angel blew me away! I’ve been meaning to get here for the past three years, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Having worked in the USA, the flavours of both the food and beer brought back such strong memories that I genuinely felt a bit emotional. I was warmly welcomed by Caitlin behind the bar—she was fantastic. Her energy, friendliness, and attentive service reminded me of classic American hospitality at its best. Whoever’s running the kitchen clearly knows their way around American flavours—no doubt they’ve spent time stateside! The house lager has a surprisingly authentic American taste—almost like it’s organic? Whatever the secret is, it works. The Philly cheesesteak was a standout. Personally, I’d love about 20% more cheese and maybe a slightly cheaper variety to really replicate that classic Pat’s Philli Streak vibe. Even the tucked-away alley location added to the charm, giving off real American dive bar/sports bar energy. Keep up the incredible work—I’ll definitely be back!
Cestrian L — Google review
Cool American sports bar we found when we couldn’t decide on lunch and wanted something different. There’s not a heap of Philly cheese steak or hotdog game in Brisbane so this fit the bill and everything was just as good as it looked

Loved this place ! Had the best time there after work with some colleagues. We all loved the frozen margaritas and the $1 tater tots. Perfect combo!

The best service ever !!! Definitely recommend. We went there on a wing special night. We ordered the spicy sauce wing and the staff did warn me three times that sauce is very spicy; I still wanted to try, at the end I was in tears. All other favours was very nice, if you are not a dead spicy lover, don't try the spicy sauce. BBQ and any other favours are worth to try.

Awesome set up, super cool joint, food was really nice. Fat Angle Sports Bar is well worth a visit if you are into the American Sports Bar atmosphere. We will be back.

Great atmosphere! The food was hit-or-miss. The loaded taco fries were really good! But would have been better on waffle fries. The chicken was undercooked and very greasy. Think the grease was not hot enough. Do not recommend the loaded chili cheese fries or chicken wings. Atmosphere is great for watching a high-vis game with fans! Drinks were not strong at all.

Yard Doggs Fortitude Valley is a laid-back and hip spot known for its craft beer, global bites, and especially its acclaimed chicken wings. Pretty good wings here, and that’s coming from an American. Surprise hit was the blue cheese which is far better than the standard generic blue cheese they serve in American bars. Highly recommend the standard buffalo wings with a Common People El Sabro Hazy IPA!

My partner and I ordered some wings and sweet potato fries for delivery to celebrate my partner's birthday. When the order arrived it was missing the sweet potato fries and the sauces were incorrect. We had eaten at Yard Doggs before and loved the wings, but unfortunately on this occasion we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food we received. The wings were overcooked, hard and contained very little/no actual chicken meat. When I contacted the restaurant about the missing potato fries they were happy to assist, however when I mentioned that our chicken wings were inedible and hard to bite, I was told that's how they always are - which I was able to dispute having eaten there previously and enjoying very good, meaty wings! I was very frustrated by the attitude of the employee that I dealt with on the phone and was very disappointed that we had to order something else to celebrate my partner's birthday. I would not recommend for these wings to be ordered for delivery. I think they are better prepared for customers at the restaurant.
Lk L — Google review
Wings are prepared and cooked to perfection. They are certainly quite small (all proportioned exactly the same size) so you could do 12 easy. Generous serve of in house made sauces (ramekin of blue cheese and ranch). The ranch is particularly delicious and would prefer the blue cheese chunkier. With only 6 wings you do have leftover sauce and some celery and/or carrot sticks would finish it off perfectly. Honestly the wings and sauce are delicious! Great service and good vibes in a great location. Thanks to all the Doggs in the Yard

Dropped into Yard dogs for a half way mini lunch on weekend walk and adventure into the city with the kids. Walked over the Story bridge which is always fun. The young guy on the bar serving and taking food orders was great friendly and efficient. Onion rings were great - my 8yo daughter was amazed at the flavour although she is never keen on dads onions on the BBQ. Chicken wings are good with out being special. Philly burger / long bread roll was very average. It wasn’t hefty or big and was average on flavour the bread felt like it had been warmed in the microwave. This part of the menu needs to be re-worked or taken off.

The vibe is laid-back with cool art on the walls and a friendly, no-judgment crowd . The outdoor beer garden is perfect for groups, and it's even dog-friendly, which is a huge plus for me. The Burrow is a colourful, chilled and casual alternative eatery with breakfasts, coffees and alcoholic beverages all in one. With two levels, the rustic feel is intentional yet the design is well executed with exposed wood beams and furniture. The upstairs veranda provides a great view for people-watching.
Amazing jazz, incredible space, the staff all seem to love it there and I saw so many cute date nights happening but a nice age range too. They even have artists selling their wares there, funky earings and a very trippy colouring book. It's very popular so we went a bit early and wished we had gotten there even earlier to get the perfect spot but still got very close to the music. Would definitely go again.
Luna Q — Google review
Absolutely love the vibe of this place! It just feels good. The music sets a chill tone, the decor has this cosy but cool feel, and everything just works together so well. Service is quick and friendly, both at the bar and when ordering food. You don’t feel like you're waiting around forever, which is a big win. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight. Great spot for catch-ups, dates, or even just a solo unwind with a drink. That said, it can get really busy, especially on night time and weekends. So if you're planning to go, best to book ahead or come a little earlier, otherwise you might be stuck hovering around waiting for a table. The drinks menu has a solid mix of options, and the food is just as good, not overcomplicated, just tasty and satisfying. Honestly, it’s one of those places you end up coming back to again and again. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a few drinks, it's got the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Highly recommend giving it go if you haven't already.

Freshly arrived in Brisbane and wandering around suburbs, my friends and I stumbled upon the burrow by pure luck. We were not disappointed : from the scenery, general atmosphere and food, this spot is a 10/10! Will definitely come back to try the pizzas and enjoy some live music.

A tragedy in the West End of Brisbane which only redeemed itself when we stumbled across live jazz in the basement. Thank goodness. Plus my dinner companion said the beer was pretty good. The boho look tempts you in, but its smeared with dirt...someone call a cleaner!!! The tables were filthy, service was tepid, apart from a young chap behind the order bar. The supposed homemade burger was pretty awful, drowned in mayo, with a reheated paddy. It cant be that hard to make a decent burger ... come on guys! But if that review hasn't put you off, defo grab a beer or a cocktail, bring some friends and a pack of cards and hang out with the musos in the basement...they are pretty awesome :-).

I had dinner at The Burrow last week and was impressed by the atmosphere. It strikes a nice balance between casual and stylish, making it great for both groups and quieter meals. The food quality was consistent, particularly the mains which were fresh and well-seasoned. Prices are reasonable for the area, though drinks added up quickly. Service was polite, though a little slow when it got busy. Still, it’s a place I’d recommend for a relaxed night out.

Wing Fix, a popular burger and wing spot in Brisbane, is still serving customers through delivery and takeaway from their Morningside and Coorparoo locations. Despite the challenges posed by the current crisis, this small business with over 30 staff members is dedicated to bringing their delicious burgers and wing options to your doorstep. You can place orders via Uber Eats, phone, or their website.
In my time of need (5 beers in) these guys were kind enough to supply the tastiest wings I've ever indulged in. The Nashville and buffalo wings are a must try. Chefs are killing it and the wait staff know what they're doing despite the internet. When you're on a crawl they're worth the visit
Finbar T — Google review
We ordered the beef & bacon burger, cheesy buffalo wings, and cheese & bacon loaded fries. The burger was nice enough but way too oily for my taste and the buffalo wings were also nice but the cheese on top was a very weird consistency. It was like a super floury paste that dried weirdly on the wings. The loaded fries had the same cheese on them and the way it hardened on the fries made it hard to eat and just wasn’t very yummy. The service was really excellent though. Our food was bought out quickly and the staff were lovely.
Imy B — Google review
I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Burger (cost $17). First impression was the burger was quite big and look pretty nice when it was brought out. But once I took a bite, the crumb of the chicken filet seems to be over fried with a slight burnt taste and it just got worse. I’m pretty sure it was a piece of chicken breast filet, but it was so thin and flat and it felt like I was eating batter most of the time. Don’t think I’ve ever had a fried chicken burger as thin as this before. Definitely did not worth the price paid. Added a regular chips and lemon ice tea combo with the burger (cost $11.50). Firstly, the lemon ice team felt a bit watered down and the chips were more on the cold side. It felt like bulk fried chips left under a warmer. One thing good was that the staff was nice and attentive. But other than that, it wasn’t an enjoyable meal and I was quite disappointed because they had a 4.5 star google rating.

Great place, great food, great staff. Loaded fries was missed and took awhile to grab staff attention. Ended going to counter and food came out not too long after.

Wing Fix Coorparoo is actually a good place. The staff are incredible, helpful and friendly. The food is tasty. The only issue I have had with it is the inconsistency with ingredients. I have ordered the beef and bacon burger and there was hardly any bacon on 2 occasions. If it’s a been and bacon burger than those 2 words are the hero ingredient of the dish. Unfortunately on 2 seperate occasions, there was hardly any bacon. Of the bacon served on one occasion, it was 75% fat (which is not bacon). The waitresses listened to my feedback and rectified the situation by bringing more bacon. Note the burger was not taken away and replaced by a fresh new one. Whilst waiting for the bacon, the burger goes cold. This is my experience, I’ve had more positive than negative from here. Don’t let a piece of bacon stop you from coming here. I’m sure the feedback to improve would always be welcome.

Have experienced Wing Fix on a number of occasions now! Having done both dine in and take away I have nothing but brilliant things to say. This place offers high quality American style food, with a premium menu of wings and burgers. Local offers are mixed in like movie tickets which really are great if your out for a date night and what to grab dinner before a movie! All in all I highly recommend this place and will be coming back!

Great place to come. Burgers are good, although I wouldn’t agree Brisbane’s best but that’s just my opinion. Good service. Yummy beers on tap. The poutine was good but needed more curds lol. Overall great and would definitely be back.

Wing Fury is a small but popular wing shop with a limited seating area. Despite the wait, customers find the wings well worth it, especially flavors like chili and lime and Mongolian. The crunchy coating and flavorful sauces make for an enjoyable experience. Some wish for larger wings of better quality, but the dry rubs are praised for their taste. Customers are willing to travel long distances for these wings due to their amazing flavor and crispiness.
Wasn't sure what to expect with this tiny corner wing shop with only a handful of tables out the front. Very busy on a Saturday night with a 30m wait time which turned out was well worth it. Got 4 flavours of wings and they were all pretty awesome. Chilli and lime was my favourite with Mongolian a close second. Really crunchy coating with sauce thats packed full of flavour. Definitely want to try some other flavours.

I attended this place month ago. I just noticed a big difference from service to delivery.I am thinking new owners or new staff. Not sure If the lady who took my order had a bad day my order was incorrect. Then when she called out my name to pick up the order. It was all wrong. She couldn't find my order. Luckily I had my card transaction on my bank statement on my mobile phone so she could matched the amount I was charged to the correct order. So finally got my correct order but no apologies. Dissapointed. Nothing compared to previous dealings with this place.

I LOVE Wing Fury. So delicious! I only rate down based on wait time, certainly not a "quick" option given the type of cuisine. Would also love to see a meal deal options available.
Ally D — Google review
Nice and crunchy coating, flavours were good. Good variety I think the price is a little high for what it was though. They were busy so took about 30 minutes for wings.

Amazing service! Super friendly owners. Wings were amazing also. Tried the Lemmon pepper wings and will definitely be coming back for more! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Always a pleasure to come here and I am constantly telling my friends to come here and grab their buffalo wings or chilli like wings! There chips are also so so good!

My partner and I drive from Burpengary for these wings because they are to die for! We generally get a mix of the dry rubs, which are always crispy and flavoursome (can't go past that lemon pepper) and the succulent saucy wings like our favourite Honey Buffalo! Fantastic food, lovely staff and a great price!

Best wings in Brisbane and lucky to have it as our local. Tonight, they were so busy, they forgot our fries. When we returned to pick them up they offered us cash for the inconvenience. Great tasting wings and always awesome service.

Naked Wings is a must-visit for wing enthusiasts. Their tender, crispy wings come in an impressive selection of 15 flavors, allowing you to indulge in a variety of tastes with every order. The boneless chicken options are highly praised for their diverse flavor selections, catering to all palates. The Soy Garlic flavor stands out as a fusion of Canadian and American styles with a hint of Korean influence. Customers appreciate the thoughtful touch of finger gloves provided for mess-free enjoyment.
Some of the best chicken you can try in Brisbane! There is a HUGE range of flavours (16!!) to choose from and the quality of the chicken is excellent! There are burgers and other side dishes as well, which is awesome. There is seating available both inside and outside the restaurant. Highly recommend trying out Naked Wings in West End! 🙌

This place claims to have the best wings in Brisbane but i'd have to say this place it has the best boneless chicken in Brisbane. Not slapped together like regular chicken shops this place has an array of flavour selections to cater for every taste imaginable. I fully dig the Soy Garlic. A fusion of Canadian, American styles with a hint of Korean. Cool finger glove supplied to eat chicken with class. Overall excellent value, taste and service.

Was here on Monday arvo for takeaway. This place has an awesome menu. There are many different things to choose from but I always go for the wings. I really enjoy the amount of sauce that is on the hot wings. They offer various mild, medium, and hot flavored wings. Their fries are amazing with the seasoned salt that they offer. I always ask for extra as they are putting it on them. :) Fast and friendly staff, especially Colin. Will come again.

Came here on a Sunday 1pm it just basically opened. It is exactly what i thought... Amazing!!! I loved every flavour my wife and I tried. We had the share platter and it was very well served as in the picture and more than enough for the 2 of us. The most pleasing part was that the chicken wings were not tiny - They were actually decent sized pieces. The staff are very friendly. Would be back if I was around.

Wing’s outside is Very CRISPY and inside is Very Juicy and Soft. Yummy. We tried jerk and soy garlic sauces and both were very flavour, even it was good without sauce. Tab beer also crispy and cool. Friendly staff. Highly recommended :)

This fed two adults and two small kids(yr 2 and yr4). The yoghurt onion sauce was the best all round, Chipotle was next. But didn't like the honey butter (was very watery not sure if that is normal). The wings were very good but the Korean chicken which are boneless was amazing! Sort of like a supersized popcorn chicken with an amazing crunchy coating! Will be getting again!

KaiKai Chicken in St Lucia is a vibrant and lively dining choice with colorful decor. It offers a variety of options including wings, flavored fries, doughnuts, and a buffet option. For just $19.90, patrons can enjoy all-you-can-eat Korean fried chicken, fries, rice, and dessert.
The best place for food hang outs. No other words. It is such a fun atmosphere, food is always quality and absolutely delicious. It’s awesome, I always recommend this place and have been coming here at least once a year for the last five years. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Brisbane.

Delicious chicken in a grungy uni student atmosphere. This place offers great value for those wanting more. Fast delivery of piping hot burn your hand chicken with enough flavours to cater to any taste. Unlimited soft drink refills available to quench your thirst. I would say this place is worth a visit with friends who aren't afraid to get a little messy.
Colin A — Google review
The fried chicken in itself is great, can't complain, some of the sides are a hit and a miss (especially the macaroni) but the others are decent. The service was good, however when the food was being delivered, I couldn't help but notice they place it quite harshly, like a free for all, disregarding other items on the table (almost spilling my drink). Even when trying to help and move items out the way, they just dump it on the table, only issue I have. Otherwise, the dons 👌🏼

You can truly never go wrong with Kaikai! Absolutely delicious wings, food came out super fast even though it was busy, service was great and we walked away very happy. It's been a couple weeks since and I still can't stop thinking about the jam donut sandwiches - they're a must have! Oh, and the mash is a 10/10. Would recommend. Thank you!

We tried their all you can eat fried chicken platters. It was pretty good but not the best I've ever had. The chicken was fried well but all sauces were fairly sweet and none of them were spicy at all. I was really wanting the kick. The best part was definitely the jam donuts which were super tasty. They tasted freshly fried and were and doughy. Overall, the restaurant gave off an American vibe with the quality and quantity. Fun place to go and a decent feed.

This place gets over 1000 customers a week and when we showed up there was two groups of more than 40 people each entering with no one coming out. We were initially worried it might be packed and cramped inside. But to our delight it was spacious and plenty of seating! The food is absolutely delicious so many wing flavour options and with an all you can eat menu you can’t go wrong! There are lots of hot chip combinations and dips and some sides. Will be definitely taking friends and family here in the future!

What makes this restaurant awesome is the great value for money!! I hope this restaurant opens in more places. Shady Palms Cafe & Bar is a vibrant Pan-American restaurant with two bars, a patio, and live music nights. The diverse menu offers tempting dishes like savory kimchi pancakes with pulled pork and poached eggs, as well as the 'Gringo' spiced mince and cheese quesadilla with pineapple salsa. Owners Mal and Bec transitioned from reality TV to successfully running this popular spot in Stones Corner.
We’ve been coming here for two years and the food is consistently delicious. Trivia on Wednesday and musical bingo every other Friday are always fun and the staff are friendly! Highly recommend!
Ellen B — Google review
One of my favourite food and drink places in Stones Corner. The staff is super friendly, prices for jugs are very reasonable ($22 for a Lager) and the beer battered chippies are mouthwateringly good. Also love the atmosphere, the outside area is super pretty with a lot of greenery and round cast iron tables. I also love the music they play here. A very eclectic mix between psychedelic rock and interesting modern cover songs and indie artists. Restrooms are very clean.

Cool little bar with decent food - it's a shame that on multiple occasions we have dealt with the older man making us feel uncomfortable that many of the other reviews also describe. The last time we visited for happy hour, we ordered a couple drinks about 5 mins before the end of the happy hour; the younger guy at the bar proceeded to make the drinks (only basics so quick and easy to make), and then fluff about for several minutes until the clock hit 6:00, at which point he charged us full price. When we questioned this, he essentially told us it was too bad, and that we could either pay full price or leave the drinks behind. We left the drinks (that he then poured down the drain), and went back to our game of darts. When our other friends went to order a couple minutes later, we told them not to get any drinks as we weren't happy with the service and that we were about to leave as soon as we finished our game of darts. At this point the young guy behind the bar kicked us all out for "discouraging paying customers" (our friends) and refused to compensate us for our game of darts. Won't be returning here as there's plenty of other small local bars in the area much more deserving of our patronage. EDIT: I'm editing my review from two down to one star as the owner in their response has been caught in a lie! We visited the bar on 22nd December 2024 (not nearly 2 years ago as they've falsely claimed) and there was indeed a 3-6PM happy hour which our group was there for the duration for. Yet another example of the "Shady" Tactics that this venue employs.

This place was a mutual location of a few of us that had not met in a couple of years. We were inconvenienced as the establishment’s eftpos machine was not working and we had to go find cash. None of us had our debit cards we had Apple Pay and above all, two ex-bankers and two current bankers not wanting to touch money on a normal day let alone in a pandemic… Food was ok, definitely not something to rave about. Location of establishment is good. We probably won’t visit again, however we thank you for the experience.

Service was good and the place is clean and comfortable. Hate to say it - wings aren't the greatest here. Some of the sauces are a let down (too vinegar). One the plus side...one corona-rita will get the partay started!

Great place for a North American slant on quality wings and tenders. We must have been a dozen times here now and love going back. I usually order the wings and my wife gets the chicken tenders and they are great every time. The prices are very reasonable, and hopefully I’m not blowing the chef’s cover in saying I’ve never got less than 9 wings when I order the regular size (listed as 8)! Lots of sauces to choose from, and I’d say definitely do not listen to the reviewer that says there’s too much sauce - keep doing what you’re doing, it’s spot on. The real standout might just be the kid’s burger, a really outstanding freshly made offering that would be highly rated on an adult menu. Too often you see kids the substandard frozen stuff, but not here, so great job on that. Service is always friendly and pretty efficient. We had one issue once with an order needing to be remade but they took care of it and took it off the bill as well. Recommended.

If you're looking for a family-friendly dining experience in Brisbane, Brooklyn Depot at Southbank is the perfect spot. This vibrant eatery caters to kids with meals that come complete with coloring activities, ensuring they stay entertained while you enjoy your meal. The children's menu features favorites like chicken nuggets, plain hot dogs (to avoid any messy sauce mishaps), and creamy mac n cheese. For adults, the offerings are equally enticing—think towering burgers, creatively stuffed hot dogs, and even lasagna nuggets!
Amazing experience, got in a few minutes before the kitchen closed and still got great service and food. I'd recommend getting The Hangover Cure, but only by itself and if you're hungry. It's so good though.

Bland fries, dry and thin burger party, ONE bacon. I would rather burn my money than to spend it here again. There are MUCH better burgers at a random cafe than here in a burger joint. Not worth it. The staff was nice tho.

Food is okay for the price, but the service really lets it down. Staff seemed confused about where dishes were going and even brought the wrong food to our table. Also, the “waffle stack” (pictured) was disappointing — not much of a stack for $10.

Such friendly staff, amazing customer service. Food was insane had the Broolyn classic with an extra pattie and the downtown and it was just marvellous. The patties were so juicy and the sauce ratio was just perfect not a single dry bite in every burger. The aioli dip for the chips was the most chronic I've had in a while. Amazing place, highly recommended. Ordered chicken wings that were full of flavours and blue cheese dip was amazing, ordered chicken tenders too completely fresh and served hot the honey mustard dip made it even better. For the main we ordered chicken parky and it was just out of this world Amazing service, asked the staff on Facebook if any meat was halal and was told chicken was. Asked the staff Instore if there was any chances of contamination and they confirmed no.

It was a nice place to have a few drinks and snacks before the night started. Staff were nice and considerate, the drinks were well made and the food was hot fresh and yum. This place isn’t too much for a good snack and drink! I got the fruit punch mocktail and the loaded fries, and they were pretty good! I would suggest more meat in the fries, but the quality of the food was good! The service was pretty good. As for the atmosphere, it’s a bit random. There was a screen playing music videos that didn’t really match the vibe. Wonderful place for a bit to eat though.

I used to come here all the time and the food was good. But I guess they changed chefs recently because the food is terrible now. My partner found a hair in his salad, and my loaded fries were dry and a bit overcooked like they left in the microwave too long. It's not worth the $26 for the fries or $30 for the salad.

In all fairness, we had a great dinner. Decent serving times and food prices aren't too bad considering serving sizes. Food was ok. It's not a 3 star because hubby's steak was super dry.

Spacious sporting venue with plenty of TVs all around the place, ideal for watching UFC or other sporting events. Food took 55 minutes to prepare which is a very long waiting time - they advised of a 25-minute on the app/website when I placed the order. The food quality wasn’t bad, but it was warm and definitely not worth the wait. I also ordered the Hickory Smoked BBQ Chicken Wings (no where on the menu does it suggest that wings are spicy). The wings I got were spicy and I could not eat them as I am allergic to spicy food. We also go wet while watching the Boxing as the roof has major leaks and it started raining during the flights. All in all, not a bad venue for sporting events, but it definitely needs to adress the food situation and improve the overall service and experience.

Had a MVP Parmi and it was the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked Parmi with a crispy crumb and juicy chicken, perfectly cooked! and so were the chips! Seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. Deadset magic!! The girl behind the bar was awesome too, friendly, quick and efficient. All up 10/10.

Went here for lunch today 12th Sept 24, really good customer service by the lady with the name tag but no name. My burger came out cold and I returned it because of that. Of course I chopped it in half so they couldn't just heat up the old one. No issue sending it back, brought out a great fresh one soon after. It was the Champion burger. Basic but very well done too. The chips were meh, I mean they're frozen chips, so who cares really. Also got a side of wings with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dip. They were really good, a little bit pricey (around $2/ wing) but very good nonetheless. I downloaded their app, it's full of STUFF. It had the meal deals of the week, but no tab specifically for Thursday, but they had one for the other specials of the week, odd. I will likely avoid ordering through the app, just costs extra, and is a pain. I would return.

I love the atmosphere and friendly service of this place. The menu has a fantastic variety of food for everyone which is fantastic and actually surprising for a sports bar. I am a very picky eater and I found a lot of things I could eat off this menu. I would definitely come back and eat here again and again

El Camino Cantina South Bank is a vibrant Tex-Mex restaurant and bar known for its lively atmosphere and extensive menu. The restaurant offers a wide range of Tex-Mex classics such as nachos, quesadillas, fajitas, and an impressive selection of tequilas and margaritas. It's a popular spot for those seeking fresh, healthy Mexican food with quality ingredients.
We had dinner here the night before leaving Brisbane, and it was such a great experience! All the food came out hot and quickly, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Ordering through the QR code was super easy and convenient too!

We have attempted eating here before, but it was so busy the wait was over an hour, so we made note to try again later. And here we are. The service was great, the ambiance good, the drinks great, but the food was not good. The chips were very stale, the ones brought to the table and the ones in our nachos. The toppings on the nachos were all very good, but cold. Like cold beef. Seasoned well, but just. Cold. We were hungry so it was fine, but for $30? Maybe it was an off night, but I’m not here to gamble another $30 to hope my food is at least warm and fresh.

Went into El Cantina at Southbank for dinner last night and honestly, we left pretty underwhelmed. The atmosphere was nice enough, but the food and drinks really didn’t live up to the price tag. I ordered the tacos for $23 and they were pretty average — small, lacking flavour, and definitely not worth what I paid. I also tried the sangria in a glass for $14.50 and was shocked at how little it was, and felt I only got a few sips from all the ice in it. With so many great places to eat around Southbank, I’d give this one a miss next time.

Comuna Cantina – where time stands still… especially if you’re waiting for a drink. 25 minutes later, our cocktails finally arrived, giving us just enough time to grow old together at the table. They proudly boast about giving you nacho chips “while you wait.” Cute idea… except ours were cold, crusty, and came without the promised cheese sauce. Had to take a pilgrimage across the road to GYG for queso (bonus discovery: they do $10 margaritas — Comuna, take notes). Now for the food: 🌮 Tacos = 10/10, honestly amazing. 🌯 Enchiladas = dry enough to qualify as an outback survival ration. 🥣 Nacho bowl = jalapeño overload. If you’ve ever wanted to test your spice tolerance and your will to live at the same time, this is your dish. To be fair, the pink sombrero photo op is fun, but sadly the vibe doesn’t make up for the slow service and hit-or-miss food. Cute place, but unless things improve, we’ll be crossing the road for faster drinks and reliable queso.

Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up to its 4.5 star Google review rating. The food was quite possibly the worst food we have ever purchased at a restaurant. We ordered the Cuban pig nachos for $29. It is described in their menu as having “slow cooked bbq pulled pork, pineapple, queso, pico de gallo, sour cream, jalapeño, coriander”. It sounded delicious. What we got was a thin layer of cold pulled pork (not bbq and definitely not heated). There was no pineapple as advertised and minimal amounts of the other toppings. Underneath the first layer was only corn chips. There was no flavour to any of the toppings. We also ordered the chicken wings with chicken salt (to cater to our daughter who does not eat chilli), 20 for $31. When our dish arrived, not only did it look unappealing, it had been completely overfried - the meat was tough and dry, it tasted like salty oil, it was absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, although our wait staff were very friendly, after making a complaint to them we were compensated only with a small container of guacamole. Based on our experience this we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Drinks were good, and the food was just ok. The wings were not hot at for being Diablo. The nacho portions are HUGE! The restaurant is massive to include patio, bar, and regular table dining.

I have eaten at this establishment previously and the food was great, however yesterday’s lunch meal was shocking. 3 times we sent back the chicken mole because it wasn’t anywhere near the description on the menu. The food was cold and smothered in sour cream. It was not baked and had no cheese.
Nat G — Google review
The freshness of the ingredients is very good, but really..how can you charhmge what they do for nachos and deliver them deconstructed, cold, with tasteless corn chips and even less tasty 'cheese' sauce out of a squeeze bottle???? Then they serve up a 'burrito bowl' without the burrito bowl?? At least the contents were tasty exceot for the aweful corn chips. Guzman and Gomez deliver better, cheaper food and do it properly by comparison. If you want a traditional Mexican meal..this is not it. Its a poor cousin.

There was a promotion offering 2 burgers for the price of 1. But when I placed my order, I only received one burger. When I asked about the second one, they told me that because the system only registered one, they couldn’t give me the extra burger. So they’re advertising a deal they’re not actually honoring.

Ordered a regular Fritzen Burger, and it came out so hot and fresh, the meat was juicy and soft. So delicious! My only issue was the burger felt a bit small! I was still hungry afterward, which was unfortunate since it is priced quite highly.

We weren’t even sure if we were going to dine at Fritzenberger tonight and we barely glanced at the menu but what changed everything was Locke, the manager, and his incredibly warm and genuine hospitality. His friendly personality, welcoming smile, open body language, and generous tone made us feel instantly comfortable. He invited us to take a seat, browse the menu at our leisure, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. That alone spoke volumes. The bartender was a little shy, but carried himself with quiet professionalism; attentive, and service with a smile. But the standout of the evening? The waitress, I wish I could remember her name, (I think it was Holly) she was truly the treasure of the night. Professional, efficient, and polished, she carried herself with a standard you rarely see, even in fine dining. Her energy and service elevated our entire experience. As for the food, wow! We placed our order and within minutes, it was at our table, piping hot and clearly freshly made. The temperature, presentation, and flavour were absolutely spot-on. Every bite was delicious. Meals were reasonably priced considering other places. The music was just right and relaxing, age-appropriate, and at a perfect volume that allowed us to have a conversation without shouting. The environment was clean, welcoming, and clearly well-maintained. This was our first time visiting Fritzenberger, and we’ll absolutely be raving about it to friends and family. The service surpassed many five-star establishments we’ve experienced. Thank you, Locke and team, for delivering such a memorable and outstanding customer dining experience. We’ll be back! Thank you 🥰💐💐

Lucky Egg Fried Chicken is a popular shipping container eatery in Brisbane known for its gourmet twist on fried chicken. While Bens may have the best beef burgers, Lucky Egg is celebrated for its delicious chicken burgers like the Original Crispy and Buffalo Crispy. On Wednesday nights, you can enjoy half-price burgers with a side of Dorito popcorn chicken or mozzarella sticks.
Pretty good chicken. Open super late on weekends so always good if you’re up for something greasy and delicious. Staff were friendly, plenty of seating, tables were clean. Fast service.

I originally posted a 5 star review because the food was so good but unfortunately have to give a massive downgrade due to the amount of times I’ve tried to go here during their ‘open hours’ only for them to be closed. It’s a massive waste of time to walk here only to find it’s closed. Moreover, they actually have two locations but only one of them is on google maps, and BOTH of them are pinned incorrectly, making them super hard to find. Walked to both tonight during open hours and photos show they’re closed.

Went here on Cheap Tuesday adventure and to finally try out the place. Was fairly disappointed at how the chicken wings went. It felt like it was already cooked and have just been refried again! It was quite hard to bite into and it was fairly "warm" inside with no juices coming out, what would a freshly cooked wings would do. Burgers were great but the same situation for the chicken patty as the wangs. I guess this is why they have Cheap Tuesday deals huh? Service was still great from the lovely person at the front.
Zion A — Google review
Ok so I may have only had under 10 chicken burgers so far as I prefer beef but wow the buffalo crispy burger I had here is the best chicken burger I have eaten to date. If you love buffalo sauce then this burger is for you. Sauce is delicious with a good zing to it. Pickles very strong and cut through the sauce nicely. Bun was small compared to other places but still tasty. Now the chicken itself was exceptional, crunchy coating but still juicey on the inside. Wasn't too oily however eating wings alongside the burger it did accumulate by the end and leaves you feeling a bit greasy (the only criticism I could find). The wings were solid, up there with any of the other good wing joints in Brissie. I do need to mention the chips though. Little bit rustic with this red seasoning I couldn't get enough of. The chipotle mayo was smokey and paired with the chips was sensational. I'd go back just for that.

Rating 1-5 Food: 2 Presentation: 3 Ambience: 4 Service: 3 Price: 3 Tried this place after reading the reviews, sad to say we were disappointed. Service was not good, and it took almost 30 minutes to get our order on an off-peak hour. The 500g chicken wings is actually just 6 pieces of wings, with half of it's weight in breading. The jalapeño poppers were good though.

NASHVILLE Chicken Burger was the bomb!! Great flavours. Fried chicken was well cooked (nice and crispy). I have had blue cheese sauce and dressing several times before, but this one tasted/ smelled a bit funny. But other than that the Chicken wings and Nashville burger is recommended (if you can really handle HOT!!).

What a great burger place in the middle of valley with a handy location Chicken is halal (Beef is not halal) Both the burgers original and buffalo were full of flavours though my personal favourite was buffalo as I like spicy Good portion of fries too and super fresh straight from the frier on to the table Staff was very friendly and helped as much as possible For drinks the watermelon juice was very refreshing and ofcourse there’s selection of other soft drinks (Coke, Kombucha etc) Very fast service too, loved it and must try

Frankie's Smokehouse is a barbecue restaurant that specializes in Texas-style smoked meats with homemade sauces. The meats are cooked in a smoker and then served with sides such as potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, iced tea and more. There is also a wide selection of beers available both on tap and canned.
One of the better Texan style BBQ in Brisbane. Beef short rib is one of the best I have had. Very soft and juicy without any burnt corners like most restaurant would have as they try to give the ribs a good roast. Pork ribs are a little drier but really flavorful. The brisket is also really soft and juicy but ours was a little salty. Otherwise a really good dinner and was pretty packed even for a weekday evening. Will be back again to try other items on the menu.

If I could have given 10 stars ⭐️ i would have.... from the moment we walked in, te staff were so incredibly friendly, polite and went out of their way to accommodate our early arrival... our waitress was the perfect blend of attentive, without being intrusive... the drinks 🍸 were amazing - an Old Fashioned for myself, while my beautiful wife enjoyed her Moscow Mule... in no time, our food arrived and I wish I could find the words to truly describe how delicious it was.... we will WITHOUT a doubt!! Be back to Frankie's... thank you for such a pleasant experience.

Amazing deliciousness on a plate. Meat melted in your mouth exquisite smokey flavour. Only ick was. I would have preferred the old white onion rings instead of red ones they are to tame not much flavour using red. But overall very happy. We will be back for sure. Thank you

Frankie’s didn’t miss! 🥩 The meat was so tender and juicy, portions were huge, and prices totally fair for how much food you get. Service was quick (like 10–20 mins max!) and they actually care about allergies 🙌 Mocktails? Perfectly balanced — not too sweet, just refreshing. 10/10 recommend for all my meat lovers out there 😋🔥

First time here. Food was amazing. Had the beef short rib plate + add on of all three meats (brisket, pulled pork and hot link) + smoked wings and onion rings. Tried the golden Alabama sauce on half the wings —different but ok. Buffalo wings and all meats on point! Best service (Thanks Emily) and best bread rolls ever! Only regret is that we waited so long to try this place. Will be back for sure. Hats off to the smokers! Do you offering meat smoking classes??? Would book in for sure.

KCS Chicken is a cozy and romantic spot that has shifted its focus from Korean cuisine to crispy chicken, which has been a hit with the locals. The tender chicken pieces come in flavors like original, secret soy, and KCS hot sauce, served with house-made kimchi. Customers recommend trying the mashed potato and wombok slaw as well. The fried chicken burger is highly recommended, especially the Oh Cheese burger. The staff are attentive and create a welcoming atmosphere for diners.
Wow, wow and wow! I could write a letter about this place! But let’s just say everything, I mean everything was five out of five! We’ll miss this place when we’re back in Sweden! However, once in Brisbane this is a must for an unpretentious and perfectly balanced taste experience! The best topped fries I’ve ever had (and I am picky…) And the best burger my husband ever had.
Jasmin N — Google review
I really enjoyed the chicken from here. The batter used for the chicken felt nice and light. It also was not too oily. The chicken itself was fresh and soft, very nicely cooked. The burger I had was very nice I really enjoyed how everything came together. I especially liked the cheese and sauce used on the burger. My only feedback would be to have more pickles and maybe a grilled capsicum or some other vegetables. Also maybe trying out a different style of burger buns, something softer. The spicy wombak salad was also nice and refreshing. It gave a nice new taste in between the chicken. I just wish we had a little more sauce on it. Regarding the soy chicken we had, it was also really nice. Only feedback would be to use more sauce as it felt light on that.

Korean chicken joint with good burgers! Came here for dine-in and got the Korean Fried Chicken Burger and the Oh-My cheese burger. Both were very good, and the cheese burger was nice without being overly cheesy. We also got the sweet chilli boneless chicken which is some of the better Korean fried chicken I’ve had in Brisbane but a small portion. A nice place, but not my fave burger or Korean fried chicken - would come back!

Korean fried chicken burger was really nicely done, flavours balanced really well, chicken tasty and juicy, not too sweet or salty, bread was great. Kimchi Chips were lovely, also had their mango iced tea, nice and refreshing. Nice atmosphere too, love the older building. Nice service. Will be back to try other burgers.

The fried chicken burger here is so yummy! I totally recommend! The staff were super attentive and made us feel welcomed and valued. We ordered the Oh My Cheese burger, the Korean fried chicken burger, the kimchi fries and the soy boneless fried chicken. The OMC burger was definitely a stand out and I loved the soft the bun and how flavourful the burger was! The one thing I would note is that we received our boneless fried chicken much later than the rest of the meal, and it was a little over cooked and dry. However, I thought the ambience of the restaurant was very cozy and the dim lighting definitely added to the mood!

If you're on the hunt for an authentic taste of America in Brisbane, look no further than Reuben's Deli & Bar in Paddington. This hidden gem is a haven for food lovers, serving up mouthwatering dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. Their Reuben sandwiches are nothing short of culinary masterpieces, overflowing with house-made pastrami and perfectly toasted to perfection. Each bite is a delightful experience that might just leave you wiping Swiss cheese from your face!
WOW!!! I have been wanting to try this place in ages, and it did not disappoint. The meals are the perfect size to be comfortably full and the Epic Bloody Mary was bang on! Thank you to the very friendly wait staff and to Peggy who took time to have a great chat with us. Peggy sure knows how to create an awesome playlist, the music was perfect for the setting. We dropped in for lunch with friends and if u want some great American inspired food, I would recommend the Reuben special, Philly cheese steak and Houston burger to share (with a side of pickles and buffalo wings). We couldn't decide which dish was our favourite as they were all great!

It was a very nice surprise ! The burgers and chips were actually very nice. Personally my favourite was the vegetarian burger, I’d recommend you try that. Unlike several other places, the tables aren’t super close to each other so you can enjoy catching up with friends with a well planned menu and drinks :-) Suggest you add a southern fried chicken burger to your list! That’s the only missing element.

I can’t believe I’m just finding out about this place now?!? Perfect lunch here today, Philly cheesesteak was impeccable and the chippies were amazingly salty and crisp! Service was also lovely, we were served by a lady who I believe was the owner who moved from Maryland, and she really knows her stuff. They were out of pickles today but it was because of a supply chain issue due to flooding etc. which is totally understandable and just leaves me more excited about them for my next visit 🥰 the only thing I would say is they need to work on their marketing so more people know they exist!

Hands down one of the best reubens I've had. Authentic, loaded with house made pastrami and perfectly toasted. Crisps on the side with the pickle was a great added touch, just would have loved another pickle. As great as it was, I had massive food envy at the Philly Cheesesteak, which I'm still having dreams about and need to order entirely to myself. Great selection of local craft and import beers alongside sodas. Owners were great fitting us in with a table despite it being packed before a game. Will definitely be back!

Amazing BBQ brisket sandwich, Italian Hoagie & the chili tasted like something from home (the states) while watching a Sunday NFL game. The owners are lovely & parking was convenient in the back. Would 10/10 recommend!

To start I'm going to say thanks to Google for letting us arrive a few minutes before the kitchen was closed (Google Maps failed; it said they were closed at 2pm on a Thursday, I need to say in no way was this the fault of the restaurant or the owners) We were greeted by a friendly face and they took it in their stride and proceeded to get our order in asap without seeming pushy (super grateful by for that). We both have been in hospitality for years so we understand late diners and the frustration involved. The food, staff, music, decor and friendly environment made the experience very easy to enjoy and to become comfortable. We ordered the Reuben (of course and 100% necessary) and the 'Cuban' which was amazing. We planned on getting the chicken liver pate for an entree but they sold out so we were offered some chips with our meals (real handmade thin chips by the way) and I got a nice full-bodied red. You will definitely become a regular customer after your first visit/taste just like we will and will continue to be. I can't wait to return, thanks for the great experience. Sorry for the slightly pictures, see you soon :)

Ordered the cheesy garlic bread with napoli sauce for $12.50. Got a $2 bread roll cut into quarters with melted cheddar, and a ramekin of dipping sauce. Sick of venues over charging for basic items. The tea was just as ridiculous: instead of leaves, they hid the fact they used a teabag. Look, I'm not against teabags, but don't try to hide it. Service was average as well. We were shown to our table by one person who said she'd get us menus, she did not. A second service person had to do the first person's job, and despite her inexperience, was friendly, and helpful. I'm in no rush to return, but I could still see myself visiting at a different time of day to contrast my experience.

Yard Bird is a popular spot in Brisbane known for its delicious range of sticky wings, including the ridiculously good garlic & parmesan and the daring Death Sentence wings. The place offers a brilliant selection of American food, with their cheeseburger being highly recommended. Customers praise the reasonably priced and tasty food, as well as the friendly and efficient service staff.
Love this place. Have been during the week, on weekends, during the day and night for meals and drinks and have never been disappointed. It used to be a 4-5 star. Don't get wrong. Service is great. Staff are friendly food is delicious. I am specifically referring to their wings. They used to give you 20 decent sized wings for 20. Now it's all over the shop and the wings can be so tiny!, But still charge you 20$ Please revert to all bigger wings.

I do like this place, however had to walk away today due to more crazy 'management policy'. We arrived around 2.30pm thinking some wings would be good. 3 people in the venue, music blaring and bouncing all over the concrete floors. I'm there with partner and bub, so ask if it's possible to turn it down, especially as mid afternoon Monday, barely anyone there. The guy behind the bar was cool and offered to turn it down a little, however said he'd get in trouble if the boss walked in. So here is my message for the boss... We left, went to Yardbird in the Valley and we could have a conversation without shouting whilst enjoying a couple of beers and wings. Insanity really.
