Got there around 3pm and the vibe was very chill. Lovely dim lighting and quiet jazz music playing in the background. The craftsmanship of making the cocktails is a performance to be seen! I order a spicy Bloody Mary which had the perfect level of bite. Also found my new favourite cider, so definitely give Pagan cider a try while you’re there. Around 5-5:30 the place really picked up, better get in early to nab a seat.

A very chill vibe that’s straight out of a NYC speak easy. We had a table of 4 and were only give one menu between us-because the menus allegedly get stolen on a regular basis. After ordering our drinks, the coveted menu was then taken off us - in case of theft. Not the most welcoming element of service. Especially when we are ordering $54 cocktails, and are the only patrons at the venue.

Service, atmosphere, playlist and the drinks.....OMG.....the drinks were phenomenal!!! We tried, Bryan Brown, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Louie Lastik and Will Hunting. If only I lived locally and could visit every weekend or for a midweek nightcap! Highly recommend!

As a returning customer for the past year, I'll vouch for this place. Excellent service and delicious drinks. Having the best Penicillin I've ever had in my life as I review this. Get bar seats, and enjoy some classy cocktails or whiskeys with your mates. Also, the perfect escape from afternoon showers in the city.

My cousin introduced me to this bar and became favourite cousin thereafter - this place is phenomenal! Not only is the venue and immersive, incredible experience of being transported to some necromancer’s daydream but the service is sensational and the cocktails will knock your socks off. Thank you!

One of the best cocktail bar experiences I’ve had! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable. The drinks were absolutely amazing—so well-crafted that you truly feel it’s worth every dollar spent. Everything was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully done. Just so good. It made me happy to be there and even happier to see how much care went into everything. Loved it!

Absolute must visit! Still one of my all time favourite bars (worldwide). Credit to Will for squeezing us in on our special night. Came in with the family and were welcomed with open arms. Also thanks to Sam, our wonderful and super knowledgeable host, who was really helpful all night. It was the highlight of their trip. I should also credit the bar team for their incredible drinks. My wife and I attended a Whisky Walkaround event at Savile Row yesterday, and to say we were impressed would be a massive understatement. The moment you step behind the iconic orange door, you’re greeted by a breathtaking five-shelf-high bar crowned with a sparkling chandelier. The décor is stunning, the atmosphere inviting, and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming. Savile Row truly sets the standard for Brisbane’s spirits scene. If you appreciate a premium bar that combines exceptional service with an unforgettable ambiance, do yourself a favour and visit this gem — you won’t be disappointed.

Savile Row is one of the most well rounded, friendly, and interesting bars we have ever been to. Our evening ended here on a whim, on the eve of our 5 year anniversary no less, and the choice to spend it at this particular spot in Fortitude Valley could not have gone better. We had 5 cocktails total, all reasonably priced, especially for the quality and atmosphere. Total was $124, averaging to 20$ per drink (they are strong!). James the doorman was friendly, personable, and shared stories that were an inspiration to me and my partner. Sarah the server was absolutely lovely, every interaction met with a smile, and always checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. The bar staff excelled in making some of the best, well crafted drinks we've had in all of brisbane (maybe more!). Thank you so much for making the perfect night cap to our special evening, excited to come back!

The place has a really nice atmosphere. Drinks are on the pricier side but worth it if you’re after something well-made. Bartenders know what they’re doing and the music adds to the vibe.

Nice cocktail bar with a classy yet casual vibe located in the heart of the CBD. Good, fast and friendly service, too. Available seating both inside and outside, but outdoor seating is not covered if raining. Nice cocktails but limited food options; basically just some toasties and chips from what I recall. Loses a star because they impose a surcharge on card transactions. Almost everyone today pays with card, so they should just do what all the other venues are starting to do and set a proper, honest and transparent menu price that includes the assumed card payment processing costs and do away with all the silly back-end surcharges, similar to what every business already does with GST. They could always choose instead to offer a discount to the few customers who still pay with cash.

Nice and quiet bar in the middle of Brisbane City. Indoor and outdoor sitting places available. Lots of choices of drinks. I liked the ambience inside the bar. Would recommend and I would visit again.

The Gresham Bar delivers an authentic, vintage experience in the heart of Brisbane City. I went there for a birthday gathering and booked their Back Room for about 20 people. The process was straightforward, and the events team was helpful with catering options and drink packages. The space is intimate, with beautiful wooden furnishings and historic charm that sets it apart from other bars. Cocktails were top-notch, especially the whiskey-based ones. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, enhancing the experience. The food options were simple but well-prepared, focusing on bar snacks and grazing plates. Although it’s not a full dining restaurant, the quality matched the drink offerings well. It’s not suitable for dancing or loud parties, but for private events or classy nights out, it’s a winner. Definitely coming back for another visit!

Nice after work visit! I requested a Bloody Mary and a rye neat. Our bar guy was friendly, topping me up, and explaining menu choices. Cocktail was balanced, rye was smooth, just how i like it! Quality drinks in a heritage setting. The leather couches add to the vibe. Value felt fair, it was a premium price, but you get premium ambience.

A return to the classic "hip-style" bar. An absolute gem. Extensive drinks menu with simple, tasty nibbles choices. Fantastic vibe with friendly, professional staff. Perfect for that pre-dinner drink for one, two or a group.

A great little hidden bar with a really cool atmosphere. Definitely a go-to-spot if you're looking for a nice drink in the West End / South Brisbane area that isn't a full on nightclub/music venue. Pet friendly on the lower level too. The only complaint is that they need to bring back their Heat of the Moment! Still the best cocktail I've ever had

Plenty of different cocktails to try and enjoy too. Wasn't afraid to ask for a relatively cheap but colourful tasting drink and was instantly given many recommendations. This place is one of those diamond in the rough bars. Such a unique, chill and relaxing vibe, and the bar is impressive and reflects the professional atmosphere and knowledge of the staff. All staff were very welcoming, accommodating and are good at making drink suggestions even when given minimal direction! Lastly, the game inspired cocktails are a real point of difference for this place. World of Warcraft or Pokemon inspired drinks add a real fun nature to this place, love it.

Another amazing bar in the heart of Brisbane’s cbd! We went for Friday afternoon drinks and ended staggering out of there a few hours later. The cocktails and masterfully blended and offer unique and non-standard masterpieces to enjoy.

A friend took me to Dr Gimlette and was blown away of how delicious those cocktails were !! That after taste still lingers as I got home. Staffs were super friendly/ welcoming and not to mention very knowledgeable and they def know what they're doing !! Also, the lady with the light blue ish dyed hair who always top up customer's water - she's a legend !!! Spent 100 bucks and not a bit of regret involved!! Would definitely go back for more !!!! This is a large, spacious and cool cocktail bar. The range of drinks is tip top, while the bartenders were well dressed and had great knowledge of their craft.

This is one of the place you have to try in Brisbane. The atmosphere is so chill & cozy. The djs are good, we’ve booked for the sunset We didn’t try the food but it was looking really nice. All the waiters were nice & available if we needed

Who cares that you can get delicious food and amazing wine at this place !!! It’s the breath taking view of the city that steals the show. Maya is a wonderful venue perched on the top of a building over looking the city. If you want to experience the joy of yummy Mexican food whilst watching the city change I recommend a sunset booking time. Grab the tacos and some jalapeños before you sip wine whilst watching the night sky. Totally worth it.

When you look at the managzine, it always recommends some local roof top restaurants. It is one of the high rank for the view. However, It doesn't meet my expectations at all from the service to the beverage. I went there around 2pm weekday. Only few table there, they set us nearly an outside table and the rain was coming. The day are windy, they never thought of the customer gonna seat inside. The drink like the medicine syrup, we really disappointed. I would prefer going to Emporium rather than other roof top recommendations.

I totally enjoyed the roof top meal with my friends on a weekday evening. Not just the meal was awesome but the view was stunning as well.

I’ve been here before and had such a great time — the rooftop view is amazing, and the music and vibe were really good. But this time, I was a bit disappointed. Security took a picture of me and sent it to management, and I wasn’t allowed in because my shoes didn’t match their dress code. I didn’t see any dress code mentioned anywhere, which felt unfair. Hope they handle things more respectfully next time.

Intimate, rustic place with cosy vibe. Service was good, food was tasty but small quantity for price. Parking a bit difficult during peak hours and metered. The Black Knight cocktail was unique and nicely done if you like a smokey flavoured and smoky drink.

We were lucky to book Canvas Club’s The Tailors space to celebrate an 18th Birthday. The food was delicious, satisfying and well paired with drinks we had on the menu. The ambience, staff and management were friendly, professional and great! Awesome venue

An amazing pre footy Lions gathering. Our group of 12 were delighted with delicious tapas shared plates. The service was fast to ensure we were not rushed to the game. Well done to Dan and his staff.

Really lovely evening spent with friends. The $65pp option was great, lots of different tastes, beautifully presented. The staff were excellent, Dan was exceptionally helpful along with the other young woman who served us. I didn't get her name, unfortunately however she may have had an American accent? I have been going to Canvas for over 10 years... the food and service never disappoints. Although no cocktails were had on this occasion (highly recommend from my years of taste testing), the food was delicious and the glass of pinot noir was lovely! As always, I will be back!

Vibrant place with exciting dinner options. Plates made to share and portions are excellent. The cocktails menu is extensive with some interesting drinks. The service can be improved as we found some staff to be judgmental to people that don’t fit their standard clientele - which I believe is mature couples that come to drink and not eat. We had a few uncomfortable discussion with the staff when we mentioned that we didn’t come to drink but to eat tapas.

We had a great time at Fiume, the food, cocktails, location, view, and the staff were absolutely amazing! Could not fault any of it. We went for the bottomless brunch, it exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, just the right amount of different dishes, the cocktails were delicious, and the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and their service was excellent. The view of the city on a lovely sunny day from there was just the icing on the cake. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great Sunday lunchtime.

Good atmosphere and views, santuary away from the crowds. Bit expensive and oversold for what it is when you can get a better view for like $90 less down the river. No chairs to start but they found us some eventually. Good entertainment. Food was okay, kinda mid for the price. Wait staff very attentive, would tip if we weren't a cashless society. Overselling and mid food drag down 2 stars not sure we'd go again vs trying something else unless it was a work function or some special event.

Came to celebrate my birthday - I was a little bit disappointed to see there was a difference in the level of service between tables. When my group arrived our table was not set, yet there were multiple tables that were set with plates, cups, cutlery and napkins. Not even when we were seated did we have our table set. Apart from this, the food was nice and the cocktails were amazing. The view of the story bridge and the river really did make the experience worthwhile.

This review is for MEWS - I booked 2 days in advance for breakfast, ours was included in our accommodation at Crystalbrook Vincent, but my daughter & granddaughter were joining us. The venue was not crowded @ 9am on a Monday morning, but I had to chase a waitress to ask to place our order, then after 40 minutes waiting again had to chase another waitress, as waving for assistance had no response (yes we were seen) There was no apology or excuse for the delay. Would not recommend this cafe/restaurant to anyone given the service from any of the wait staff.

We really enjoyed our night especially being first timers :) I am sure to return! I love love love this place! Hands down the best bar in Brisbane. If you are looking for something chill, but still has an atmosphere this is the spot. Beautiful leather seats, and extraordinary staff. Both Aidan and Min guided us through the best choice of cocktail, and indulged our silly questions. I continue to return only for the Panda Passion as they make the foam in house, which continues to blow my mind and tastebuds away.

This is a cosy, cute place with lots of bottles, class, and atmosphere.The music choices were pleasant ( no elevator jazz here, just pleasant country rock and jazz). It has an extensive menu and if you visited here every weekend for the next five years you would, most likely, not exhaust the menu options. I took a friend there for a birthday outing : they had a 'Hell Fire ' a large chilli flavoured concoction which was beautifully presented, followed by a drink called 'Upside Down' it contained a combination of coconut cream , cream, pecan syrup and delicious liqueurs. It was a sweeter drink. I had 'The G and G' which I chose because I don't favour the sweeter cocktails - my, it was delicious - with its' Gin and guava , etc. Then I had a 'Katana'. It featured a deliciously forward woodland bourbon with some refreshing herbal and citrus undertones. The barstools were very comfy. The barman was pleasant and conversational without being intrusive. A pleasant interlude in a busy week was enjoyed in this special space behind the blue door. We recently hosted a 30th birthday celebration at Finney Isles, and I truly can’t recommend it enough. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly accommodating, kind, and easy to work with. They made the whole planning process stress-free. On the night of the event, everything was seamless. The ambiance was spot-on, the cocktails were fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special. Everyone in our group commented on how friendly and welcoming the team was, and it really made the celebration that much more memorable. Only other comment is it was very warm inside the bar

Our company booked a pizza master class here and it was absolutely amazing! 🍕 It was so much fun making our own pizzas from scratch and I finally got to enjoy a thin crust pizza, something I haven’t had in ages. The pizzas we made ourselves tasted incredible and the best part is you can even buy the dough to make more at home. (P.S. The chef said no pineapple pizza! 😆) I will definitely come back with friends to enjoy more pizza here.

Fake Advertising!! Our group booked this venue well in advance for a special celebration and I was sent the venue marketing images and it looked great! Sadly on arrival the group entered a very different venue. With inclement weather, the only option was to be seated in the rain, as any weather protection advertised had since been removed. Staff at the time advised refund would be honoured as there was no undercover option available. However the refund request has been met with lies and cover ups. Toilets were unhygienic and disgraceful. Public toilets are cleaner! Any reputable establishment would be willing to honour a refund for services that were not provided especially if what was promised was inaccurate. It amazes me that the owner of this establishment cannot see the bigger picture for his business. In a world that is so connected, this bad news will travel far and wide as we wouldn’t want anyone we know to have such a negative experience. Please avoid this place.

Went here for some cocktails and a pizza. Can recommend the watermelon sugar cocktail it was yummy. Generally the place needs renovating and cleaning. It was dirty and the first table we sat at was broken / very rocky (we would the been able to put a drink on it as it would fall off). Moved to another table which was dirty, although it eventually got cleared it never got cleaned and the floor had food paper etc on it. Fairly disappointing area But nice views and yummy cocktail.

Catfished & they kept our money! DO NOT GIVE THIS VENUE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This venue catfished us with old media and then took our money and let us leave after 20 minutes without remedy. We had a hens party booking 9/8/2025 (reserved and paid 5 months in advance) for 19 people. We got the premium cocktail package plus food totaling $1646. The weather was miserable and we realise we booked at a rooftop however… at no point were we contacted prior to arrange another option, there were no undercover options offered to us on the day(they have them and could have set up considering such a big group booking) no downstairs restaurant offered to us because “it didn’t open until 5pm” and the manager on shift advised us more than once we would get a full refund come Monday as they literally had nowhere to seat us because it started to downpour and the whole rooftop area was wet! Now let’s talk about the venue…. Complete setup is different it looks absolutely nothing like the social media/ web advertising/ package brochures (which have now conveniently been taken down) that we were given and booked on the basis of! The owners response to this is that “ Under Australian Consumer Law, marketing material is not required to depict the exact table or configuration booked” umm we booked off of function material sent to us so I would expect that it is exactly the same!!! Mediterranean aesthetic I think not, it was back alley vibes. It was DISGUSTING! Spew and urine all throughout toilet area to which it was noted someone was sick that day however more google reviews say it seems like a common occurrence, no toilet paper no hand towel. Then to top it off the response I got after complaining was that we booked an open air rooftop and they don’t control weather so it’s our bad luck. Also that they offered us upgraded spaces downstairs which is completely untrue and witnesses there to back us up. If they had the venue set up as described we would have had cover over us!! We aren’t the only patrons who have been treated this way and I wish I read the reviews before booking! What a disgrace of a venue!! We did not get food and we did not have our 2 hour drink package because we had nowhere to be seated and had to seek an alternate venue therefore, a service was not fulfilled. I have included photos of what it should have looked like as per function material sent to us compared to what we got! Buyer beware! Just look at other 1 star reviews to see the same issues.

TEMU ROOFTOP BAR - Completely Disastrous Experience We had booked at Cielo rooftop months in advance for a group of 16! When we arrived, we were seated outside in the section with no protection from the weather. When it began to rain, we were not offered alternative seating and had no other option but to leave. We were told when we left that the refund would be processed on Monday but it never was. The staff have since refused to refund our money saying that alternative seating was offered downstairs which didn’t open for another hour and a half. We paid in full ($1646) for our reservation upfront, which we were told would cover food, drinks, and seating - we received none of this service and left with no refund. We would understand if they took our deposit but taking the full payment for no service provided in return is a joke!! To make matters worse, the furniture looked nothing like what was advertised online. The chic outdoor lounge vibe (with protection from the rain) they had promised was completely fake. Instead, we were stuck with cheap, uncomfortable seating in the rain (see pics attached). It was a far cry from what was depicted on their website which they have conveniently deleted since our complaint. The toilets were disgusting. There was mould in and around the basin, the floors were filthy and they stunk of vomit. This place is a total scam and an embarrassment to the hospitality industry. Never again. We moved onto the Osbourne as an alternative who were absolutely lovely and provided such friendly and professional service!

Absolutely loved Cielo Rooftop Bar! The atmosphere was energetic but still quiet enough to hold a proper conversation, the perfect balance. The staff were friendly and attentive, with great banter that made the night even more enjoyable. The cocktails were spot on, especially the signature mixes. Great music, stunning views, and a vibrant yet relaxed vibe. One of the best rooftop spots in Brisbane, can’t wait to come back!

From the moment we walked through the doors, everything about our evening at Blackbird felt exceptional. Before service had even begun, we were able to witness the manager giving a pep talk to the team a genuine reminder that behind the atmosphere and service is a group of people working together with pride and purpose. That set the tone for the night. Our waiter, Henry, deserves special mention. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, knowledgeable about the dishes, and offered helpful suggestions that really enhanced our experience. Amazing experience at blackbird, sublime view from the table and the staff were very welcoming and great. Got the seafood platter for 2 to start our meal, very fresh, sweet tasting especially the scallops. Tuna tartare had quite abit of sinew in it, room for improvement on that. As for mains we got a john dory and the five founders ribeye. As you can see from the pictures it’s cooked perfectly medium rare, great crust, good seasoning and just a very delightful steak. John dory was cooked just right, sea urchin sauce not too overpowering but it’s missing a little sweetness to it which would elevate it even more. Still a great meal for 2 and they even gave us free chocolate mousse cones for our dessert. Would come back again

Ordered T-bone and it was super good, highly recommended! It was cooked to perfection! Oyster was also very fresh especially with the sauce provided. Dessert is a must try as well. Definitely a place I would want to go back if I re-visit Brisbane.

We dined in the restaurant with beautiful views of the riverfront and surprisingly good sound muffling from the party on the bar side. The food was delicious, especially the kangaroo, quail cotoletta, and grilled pumpkin. Everything was cooked perfectly with unique flavors. The strawberry rhubarb tart was a nice light finish to an otherwise spectacular dinner.

One of the finest dining restaurant in Brisbane city. Very friendly staffs with good knowledge of foods and drinks. Best view towards story bridge. Has got separate roof bar with open view to city and bridges. Recommended.

Riverside dining with a touch of elegance!! Thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Blackbird for our 7 year anniversary. Our lovely waiter Jun provided outstanding service in both a professional and friendly manner. We got the King River Wagyu Bavette, Five Founders Rib-eye, Steamed Broccolini, Shoestring Fries, and 2 sauces. The meal as a whole was spectacular. This was our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. Will be visiting again soon!

We came on a Tuesday night to celebrate the husband's birthday and we're blown away by the food and service. Every dish was so flavorful and well presented. Cocktails were delicious. Thank you for a lovely dinner Team!

Came here with my family for something different. The food is unique and taste absolutely great. The way the sauces were combined with the food is extraordinary. The lovely lady who worked there was so lovely. She noticed that my mother was feeling cold and offered to bring her hot water with a couple of lemon slices. The downside of it all was the size compared to the price. If you are a big eater, the plates will not fill you up. One dish was meant to be shared for 2 people, but it looked like it was for one.

Came here for a private event and was absolutely blown away by the quality of food and wine. The wagyu was the most delectable steak I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating my life. Everything was perfect - the venue, service, staff, everything was so impressive. Would consider Gerard’s for any future special event. Would give six stars if I could.

Had the 85 set menu. It doesn't sound like a lot of food but there is plenty and we left very full. The Barbari bread: fresh, soft and nicely charred. The spices are fragrant and not overpowering. Hummus with black barley: great depth of flavour in the hummus and very smooth. The texture of the black barley was paired well with the smooth texture of the hummus. Coral trout shawarma: least impressive dish on the menu - not enough flavour. Lamb shoulder: absolutely banging. The meat was super tender and juicy and the skin was crisped which gave it a fantastic mouth feel. Simit bread: so soft and fluffy! Chat potatoes crispy greens went so well with the soft potatoes. Knafeh with pistachio: perfectly warm and smooth. Not too sweet and very fragrant. Super delicious. Service was quick and warm. Beautiful ambience. Great lunch experience.

Celebrated a special birthday dinner with my wife at Gerard's. We shared two starters and two mains, which was probably too much food for the two of us. For starters we had the Manoushe and the Baba ganoush - the Baba ganoush was outstanding! For main we shared the whole wood fire baked trout and the shoulder of lamb, and elected not to have any sides, which given the portions was a wise decision! Both were delicious, however I would give the trout the winning hand given how the flesh was perfectly cooked, and the charred skin just added to the overall flavour. Thaank-you Gerard's for making this a special evening for us both - we will be back again to try the other items on your menu soon.

Don't think I've had better lamb in my life! This place is simply food paradise, the simplicity and the heart that goes into every item is difficult to explain. We went as a part of a larger group with a set menu. Each and every single dish on the menu was exquisite. Other than the lamb which is most definitely the best meat dish i've ever had, everything else was a 10/10. The lamb scored many extras. Attaching the menu and few photos of the food!

That said, the pricing is very reasonable, making it a great spot for the overall experience. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a scenic setting with solid food and service. It's totally worth visiting for the ambiance alone!

Dined at Mr Percival's on a Friday. Sat outside where the view was nice, but the chairs were uncomfortable and the space was not spacious. Our waiter was polite, which was a plus. We ordered via QR code, but the food and drinks were quite pricey, and the options seemed pretty repetitive. When it started raining, we moved indoors at our request. Food came out quickly once we were seated indoors, but it was cold - not great. The cocktails were nice, though. One thing that could improve is if the indoor staff would let patrons finish their drinks before taking the glasses away. Parking was around $25 an hour, which added to the expense. Overall, felt overpriced and underdelivered."

I was visiting from Sydney for my nephew’s 30th Birthday party and he brought me to this beautiful place on a Thursday lunch before the big event! We sat outside in the searing heat.. (what were we thinking?!) We quickly ordered and were not disappointed. Food came out fairly quickly considering we were only a handful of tables there. Fresh grilled prawns with salsa verde, delicious! A gorgeous summer salad of iceberg lettuce, capers, dill, thinly sliced onion etc, honestly the best I’ve had in a long time and I eat out regularly. Perfectly dressed and seasoned! My nephew ordered the pizza and we shared some small plates.. Everything was delicious, could not fault anything! Thank you for a great afternoon and fantastic food!

Came for Riverfire, I thought this was bound be average, to be honest, it was perfect, the location, service, food and vibe was well worth the $ Get spot for Riverfire, and at anytime. Bottom line $470 for two including extra cocktails Great spot, great service, enjoyable evening.

I was so looking forward to dining at Mr Percival’s. My partner and I took a friend for a celebration lunch on Friday. The setting was wonderful. The staff were lovely. But the food was a huge disappointment! The seafood platter for two ($68) had so little food on it that we thought there had been a mistake and it was only meant for one person. The size and pricing for the fried calamari & zucchini was right, but I had eaten a calamari meal two days before at a Sunshine Coast Surf Life Saving Club and that calamari was far superior to Mr Percival’s! The only items we enjoyed at the lunch were the drinks. I hope Mr Percival’s lift their game!

Have been to Mr Percivals on many occasions and it's in general a great option for lunch. We've been 3 times in the last month with different groups of visiting relatives and friends for lunch. Thank goodness the new menu was available after the first outing as they now have the new kitchen up and running. . . so we've had the lunch special / share menu (for 2 or more / not 8 as the menu states) and it is really excellent value and delicious food. Service was a bit hit and miss depending on who was doing the serving, but hopefully this will improve as they settle in with the menu and changes. Always enjoy the atmosphere sitting by the river and lazing the afternoon away.

What a great place! It’s taken me a hot minute to write this, but, I just had to come on here and say a huge thank you to Brodie!! We had the most amazing service from Brodie the night that we went to mr Percival’s She was incredible!! What a joy to be served by her! Brodie has such a positive energy and her attention to detail was remarkable. We can’t wait to go back and see her!

We were served by Mahalia. This place is amazing. I love it every time I come here. I do not usually leave reviews but honestly this place is so much more than it looks. Service was phenomenal, especially from denis. My partner and I came for a drink and a bite to eat. We were so impressed with the hospitality. Denis went above and beyond for us, and was very welcoming.

We came here the other night, and I ordered the Osaka sour - it really felt like a unique touch on a normal sour. I loved it! We didn't have to book a table, and the service was quick. We did not feel rushed to leave and stayed to just enjoy the atmosphere.

Cocktails are yummmm, food was pretty great. Cocktail prices range from $20-$28, which is pretty high, but we mostly found them worth it.

We had an excellent time! The staff were warm and attentive, food is 5star and the view while watching river fire was amazing! Prices are reasonable and the entertainment was great! Highly recommend! Will be back for sure!

Great food, beautiful scenery and lovely staff. Met here for a celebration with family around early afternoon and there were about 3 other tables seated. Food and drink is ordered via QR code, which caused a bit of confusion with some of the less tech savvy of the group but that’s our own user error. Drinks came out swiftly and food was timely and delicious. We all loved the corn ribs and the wagyu tartare! By the time we left, people were starting to fill up seats for the late afternoon. It was nice to have a celebration with a bit of space to breathe and roam before the busy arvo rush. As a lil tip, if you’re ordering anything that comes served in an ice bowl, maybe ask for some extra napkins, as it did leak in the afternoon sun and travelled to our laps haha. But, c’est la vie.

Food was good but the portions were really small. Drinks were nice! The staff is really kind, but we expected a better table since we booked way in advance, the atmosphere from our spot could have been better.

If you wanna try one of the best taste of Japanese and Peruvian food Soko have as well as the incredible rooftop 100% come when is sunset time. The staff is kind and the service is fast.

The music and entertainment were absolutely fantastic — truly top-notch and exactly what I came for. Unfortunately, the entire experience was overshadowed by the incredibly rude and unprofessional behaviour of the door staff, particularly the female individual who was incredibly rude. It's disappointing when one person's attitude can ruin an otherwise great night. Management should seriously consider better training or staffing, because no one should be treated the way we were. A real shame.

I really enjoyed the vibe tonight! I requested a cocktail flight and some of the famous free pretzels. The service from my host was cool and unhurried, checking in without hovering. The drinks list was extensive and well-curated, from Brooklyn Lager to Chicago root beer, and everything tasted crisp and true to style. Great night had.

An amazing venue offering really good live music all week. Events and rotating nights that keep it all varied on the music, while giving us reasons to keep coming! The staff is amazing with awesome knowledge, and flexibility on drinks. Not a cocktail i couldnt order to their knowledge! The vibes are unreal! Chill social vibes through the week, checked out with dance floor menace vibes on the weekends. There is always a night that answers your interests to be out.

Not a bad bar . Service seemed good . Cocktails were nice , French martini was really good and the Espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had . At $22 each that’s probably standard for the area . Food was nothing special unfortunately . Atmosphere was good . I imagine when hot the pool use would be great . We visited of an evening so it was definitely too cool for the pool . I loved the led screen above the bar area . You can order from your seat as they have the QR code on the tables . They don’t cater for dietary requirements well . If you drive there is plenty of paid parking around. But it’s close to public transport

Had a private party here. Food platters were terrible. We were charged for what was supposed to be a complimentary valet parking space. DJ refused music requests even though event staff told us we could request songs. Service staff was a mixed bag, some attentive some terrible. Had a private event and paid $$$ only to be very disappointed with the service. Wont stay here ever again.

Very accomodating venue great for a quiet drink in the heart of Southbank Brisbane, hidden away inside the ridges hotel but worth the visit. Great food and cocktails 🍸 we hosted an event with around 22 guests the staff were incredibly accommodating from reservation through to the event. Everything for you should expect from a hotel bar, with a beautiful ambience and atmosphere.

3 of us walked on in around 2pm Saturday. Not many people at all, very quiet. No one greeted us, with many staff just walking around not doing much. Had to grab our own menu, after 15 minutes. Still no contact from anyone working there, no water nothing. We weren’t sure if it was table service or what lol After heading over to order and the bar man just yells at us 3 Tommy margaritas incoming. (probably the only cocktail he knew how to make). $28+ for a cocktail you’d hope they’re decent. Photo does justice and trust me the taste wasn’t any better. That’s is in fact a cocktail and not a fruity craft beer that had been sitting there for 20 minutes. Oh and old mate bar tender after not confirming our order leaving us confused, he walked over empty handed to our table to tell us our drinks are at bar for us. A few girls were there to get photos, great lighting and beautiful tiled back drop but if you’re not there for that. Avoid this place if you can.

We were so happy with our experience at Los Bar! The cocktail menu is wonderful and offers so many unique drinks, most with a Thai flavour. We worked our way through most of them and particular favourites were Long Boat, Little Man and Thai Thai Tommy. For a busy bar, the service was really excellent.

Really disappointing experience. We entered, and tried to strike up conversation about cocktail recommendations and the staff were immediately rude and standoffish. I asked if they could recommend me a cocktail that was ‘fruity, sweet, and not too strong’ and was then served a cocktail that tasted like pure tequila. It was early, and inside the bar was relatively empty. However, my partner and I could not hold a conversation because the staff were talking and laughing so obnoxiously loud amongst themselves. Upon paying, the staff member serving us held the eftpos machine out towards us, but did not pause his personal conversation with his colleague, face our direction or even make eye contact with us before we left.

Showed up at 11pm after a final cocktail before heading home. Turned away as they were “closed” according to security 027. However, online says they are open until midnight and the place was very lively when we arrived

We went on a Thursday night. It was dead. They served the wrong drink and we politely let them know and they did no rectify the issue and refused to serve further drinks which we were paying for with out reason as to why we were no longer able to order more.

My partner and I went for his 21st birthday, he had the steak with the snow white as a cocktail and I had the fish and chips with the green light cocktail, with house salad as a shared side. When we go out and my partner gets a steak he has a mental lists of which ones are his favourite. Safe to say this was his favourite by a long shot. The oil that comes with the wedges was so good and the steak was mouth watering good. Our favourite part is how it’s salted, they use the GOOD salt. The hostess was so welcoming and polite, even said happy birthday to my partner as we paid, we had a good interaction with everyone that came our way.

We had the best dining experience we’ve had in a really long time. From the start our waiter was so helpful and lovely. We ordered the ploughman’s board and it was one of the best meats&cheese boards I’ve ever had. Onto mains we had the steak and broccolini WOW, I enjoyed the meal from start to finish and can’t thank you guys enough.

It was a lovely place to dine. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, delicious cocktails.Unfortunately, our experience with food that I order wasn’t what i expected. I ordered Mushrooms risotto with truffles and the sides of garlic broccolini. The mushrooms risotto was undercooked, don’t have a taste of truffle and butter. Very disappointed. Both of us didn’t finish the food.

The food was quite disappointing. Not as expected. Ordered Scotch egg which could barely taste the lamb and black forest creme brulee which tasted like Milo mousse. No cherry flavour whatsover other than 2 glaced cherries on top. Would have resembled if they had at least added some Kirsch to it but very disappointed with the dessert. Decor is very eclectic with stuffed animals, but bar upstairs was very romantic and nice. Service was ok

The pork belly was so good I had to physically pause to collect my thoughts. The cocktails are great and the staff are competent and approachable enough to chat to and ask about varying any cocktail. The place is cute, a touch swanky, and really cosy. Highly recommend.

Electric Avenue is our go to Friday night dinner spot! We love the vibe, the food, in particular the duck pate and the chocolate Creme Brulee - so divine! The wait staff also make this place such a great place to visit - thank you Trixie and Oliver for always looking after us so well - we loved our treats tonight Oliver !!

Cool place, went for a Sunday roast - the food came out semi warm, like it had been sitting waiting to come out. Staff were nice, just not attentive. Did not come over and ask how the food was. Was unable to get their attention to say something about the food. Shame because it could of been so tasty!

Was gifted with a Cocktail Master Class here - awesome experience with a knowledgeable and personable host in Dimitri. Not only learnt how to properly make specific cocktails, but also gained some insight into the history as well! Loved the venue, super welcoming and inviting! Will definitely be back!

We had a great experience on Saturday. We had the Admirals 5 course lunch @ $57pp. They are shared dishes and not too big so you leave full but not uncomfortable. The service was good. The cocktails delicious. The food was excellent. Every dish was balanced and had excellent flavour! I'd definitely go back to try more of their food and cocktails!!

Really cool gin bar & great experience. We were looked after by Rhiannon (think that's right?), who was really friendly. Slight delay getting started as she was having a battle with her printer but she accommodated by upgrading us to the premium tasting package which was a lovely surprise! Cheese platter was amazing, especially the candied walnuts! Yummy!! Great range of Gins...think I found some of my new favourites. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon chilling

I gifted my partner the private gin tasting with five course banquet for two for his birthday. We were fortunate enough to be hosted by the owner of Dutch Courage, Matt. His knowledge of gin including it's origins, flavours and combinations was very impressive. He was very welcoming and warm, making us feel comfortable and able to ask questions. All gins were served neat with the option to add a mixer if you would prefer. This was then followed by a five course banquet dinner. The food was delicious while being unique. The chef himself was kind enough to come and check on us throughout the night and so we got to ask for his tips and tricks in the kitchen! We purchased additional drinks over dinner based on their recommendations. I think it's important to highlight that gin is my partners favourite spirit, while I am only just starting to sample it, but we both really enjoyed the experience. Overall an excellent night out! We'll be back.

Visited here a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The menu was great with a decent variety and the food was delicious. The bar has a large range of Gins, cocktails and other beverages and the setting is casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed the evening and will be back again. A must visit if you’re a Gin lover in Brisbane.

A cool gin bar with a great atmosphere and amazing cocktails. The bartenders and staff were friendly and attentive, the staff offered to find a table and reserve it for us while we wait for our cocktails at the bar, which for us was nice. We sat upstairs and it was a pretty cool area. We'd come back anyday!

Had our Chrissie party here last year (approx 140 people). It was amazing!!! From the communication leading up to the event and throughout the event, it ran seamlessly. There was a glitch with the music we provided (our issue) and the bar manager was amazing in helping us out. As part of the package we had chosen there was to be 'bottomless canapes'- there was so much food!!! In comparison to our Christmas party this year, Dirty Sultan was phenomenal- we should have gone back here this year again!!! From the management, communication, atmosphere, to the general running of the night I could not fault the event!!

An absolute hidden gem. Loved everything about my visit here. From the friendly and attentive staff, through to the cool decor and pumping tunes and soundsystem. Top notch all round. The Eva was an awesome recommendation from the waitress, and the food was sensational. General vibe was fun and vibing. Will most definitely be back. 💥👌

Although visually beautiful, I had a very disappointing experience at the Dirty Sultan. Arrived on Friday early evening (literally an hour after they had just opened the doors) and also the first day of the week they opened. Ordered a mix of breads and dips, and traditional Turkish dumplings. The bread and dips came out and we were sat there waiting for 15 mins before the waitress said they didn’t have them. A little suspicious, especially as it was the first day of the week, and like mentioned above, we were there soon after doors opened. We were surrounded by about 3 semi big groups of parties and get togethers which just ordered off the starter menu so I do wonder if they just didn’t want to make the dumplings. If we had known they were not available before sitting down we probably wouldn’t have eaten there. The waitress asked if we wanted anything else instead, I asked for a couple minutes. Which turned into a further 20 mins of her ignoring us whilst dealing with the bigger groups. Essentially paid over 100 dollars for a bread dinner and a cocktail jug. What should have been a nice evening for my partners birthday, became a bit of a joke between us as we sat in the middle of the restaurant with a plate of bread feeling absolutely ridiculous. It sure is an aesthetically beautiful place, but I do feel better communication should have been had with us about what was available (our first jug of cocktail wasn’t available either). Unfortunately it felt like it was a deliberate move to let us sit and order various drinks and the bread and dips, meaning we couldn’t then say we didn’t want to eat there if what we came for was not available.

A perfect place for a special occasion — or to make any occasion special. The sunset views and city lights are absolutely stunning. The menu offers an excellent selection of food and drinks. We were lucky to be served by Surya, a wonderful young man with a beautiful Italian accent, who made the experience even more memorable with his great service, thoughtful suggestions, and attention to detail. A visit here is a truly memorable experience and an absolute must to enjoy the Brisbane skyline.

Decadent yummy food. Service was also good and fast. However the portion is rather quite big as we had to order a set for two. Could not finish the potatoes. We had booked the igloo, it would be nice if there was a heater as its rather cold. Has a nice view of the city.

⸻ I was at Lina for my 39th birthday, a beautiful place with a stunning view over the city of Brisbane. Unfortunately, it was raining, and we couldn’t have dinner outside. They gave us a table inside the restaurant, and the young man who welcomed us, Surya, offered us two glasses of prosecco when we told him it was my birthday. It was truffle night, and since I absolutely love truffle, he asked—although we hadn’t booked for the truffle night—if we could dine with that menu. The kitchen said yes, and from that moment on it was a journey through spectacular flavors. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was warm and welcoming thanks to Surya (an Italian like me). The cuisine was truly exceptional (compliments to the chefs). Congratulations to everyone. From the get go, our waiter Surya allowed us to taste 3 white wines to ensure we picked the one that was our favourite, never missing a beat he the made us aware of the new menu that was implemented and regularly check up on us, never letting our wine glasses be fully empty, perfect lunch date and views of the RAAF flybys for Riverfire ‘25. Would recommend the warm olives, oysters, kingfish, beef tartare and most of all the cheesecake to finish it all off.

In Brisbane on business for 3 days and this place rates very highly so thought I would check it out. In the back of earth big old commercial building up some stairs down to corridor down some stairs then up some more stairs walk along a big corridor and then opens out to this tiny little hidden coffee Mecca that is absolutely heaving. No food at all just a few little cookies and pastries and the best little Vibe I've ever felt. Regular flat white thanks... have here $6.50?? I don't know how they do it in Brisbane but I thought we were expensive in Sydney... it had better be good..... it wasn't good... it was the best coffee I have ever had so I will be back tomorrow great work guys. Having the confidence to do something like this at this price point and absolutely nailing it just secures the best quality business and clientele. 10 out of 10 cannot get any better

John Mills Himself is not only a cozy, atmospheric café —it’s also a great spot to buy high-quality coffee beans, loved by coffee enthusiasts. Hidden down a laneway in the city center, the café’s red brick walls and old print shop charm make it feel like a secret escape. If you enjoy single-origin pour-overs or bold espresso blends, definitely try their house blend. Their coffee bean packaging is also stylish—great as a gift or for your personal collection.

This is one of my must-visit cafes in BNE and it didn’t disappoint. Love the vintage vibes and I was lucky to arrive ahead of the office coffee crowds! I enjoyed my cup of flat white and the vibrant energy in the morning.

Wowwww! We were visiting from London and were consistently amazed by every single coffee we had whilst on our travels in Aus, but hands down JMH was our favourite coffee. I’m not sure what they do to it, but it’s simply perfection. So good, we came back a second time. I tried the decaf on the second time and can confirm it’s just as delicious as their caffeinated coffee.

I did not like the coffee at John Mills. I'm a long black drinker and I found it to lack body and flavor. Since it gets such great reviews, perhaps this is just my personal taste preference. Staff were lovely and it has a good vibe.

Such a hidden gem! Only small rooftop, but during the day on a weekend is so fun, great live music and atmosphere. Drinks are so unique and fun! We did the bottomless brunch for a friends birthday and the food was tasty and worth the money with the drinks flowing! Great service, we were mainly looked after by Tati and she was fantastic 💗

Absolutely blown away. We had no idea how to navigate the event or communicate our vision, but Jess just got it—and brought it all to life effortlessly. On the night, we were welcomed by the most incredible team—genuinely warm, upbeat, and completely on the ball. They made us feel so looked after and continued to check in afterwards to make sure everything was perfect. It was seamless, joyful, and far beyond what we imagined. I love Tetto’s! It’s one of my local cocktail bars and it’s always so vibey. The drag bingo is funny, my friends and I won a gift card and a funny fan. Saturday nights are so fun with the dj and it gets packed pretty quickly. Jamie was super accommodating and helped us find a table and Blake and Sarah made my friends and I the best cocktails!! We love coming here!

I joined my friend’s birthday dinner yesterday here and it was absolutely amazing! The view from the rooftop was stunning, being up high made the atmosphere so open and refreshing. If you come around sunset, you’ll get to enjoy a truly beautiful view of the city too. The food was incredible, especially the seafood! Everything was so fresh, and I could really taste the smoky aroma that made each bite so flavorful. The side dishes complemented the mains perfectly and enhanced the overall taste. The service was just as impressive. The staff (I think he’s also the manager) was very professional and attentive. He even guided us to the pool area for photos and kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect for us. Such a wonderful place for a special celebration, highly recommend! 🩷

The place has a nice ambiance with a cute and welcoming atmosphere. The food was overall very tasty, though the pork was undercooked in some parts, and the grilled dish had a noticeable earthy flavor. However, the desserts were absolutely delicious and highly recommended!

Very cool spot. The food was pretty amazing honestly and the waiter had great recommendations of whiskey. It was a beautiful venue that also has a fairly nice smokers area.

Came here for lunch on Valentine's Day and when we called ahead to let the restaurant know that we were running late for our reservation (10-15mins), the staff were very considerate. We were served by Alex who's service was exemplary - entertaining and witty without being overbearing. The food was amazing with the price matching what you would expect for a rooftop venue.

Beautiful rooftop bar with stunning sunset views that is a great spot for a drink with friends or for a celebration. There’s plenty of space to sit down or stand at high tables near the bar, and you can even book the area for functions or parties. Take the elevator up to reach it, and there’s a pool space as well. They have heaters to stand around in these colder months. They serve a range of unique cocktails alongside their spirits, wines, and beers, but food is limited to small, pricey tapas and nibbles. The service is quick, with plenty of staff on hand, although it can get quite noisy during busy periods so you might find yourself raising your voice to chat. Overall, a beautiful bar with a strong drink selection, just at a higher price point — but there are plenty of food options nearby on Brunswick Street if you want something more substantial afterwards.

Went here for a birthday celebration for my partner, had the specials lobsters rolls to start with, delightful and nice treat. With the price of $10 each which wasn’t too bad either for the quality. Next we each had our mains, the iberico pork chop and the seafood paella along with their crispy potato as a side. The pork was very juicy and tender, had great flavour with the sauce and compoté, paella had lots of seafood that tasted fresh, couldn’t get much of the same taste in the rice itself but it was still good nonetheless. Potatos were fried while it was layered and that helped with the texture and the crunch, must get! To end the meal off we got churros and it’s a good way to end it. The helpful waiter also helped to introduce us to 2 amazing cocktails of which i forgot the name to it.. overall an amazing experience here and the view of the sunset was nice altho i didn’t have a side table due to the rainy weather

Had an amazing meal here. Being a Wednesday night and bad weather, it was fairly quiet. The bar and wait staff were friendly, and showed impeccable customer service. We had the pork cutlet, potato stacks and steak, all tapas style and all absolutely delicious. The cocktails were delicious and quite frankly dangerously so lol. We will be back again soon!

We didn't get food here so can't comment on that. But what I can comment on is the absolutely AMAZING hospitality of Finn and Alana. Tonight, they were such accommodating and wonderful hosts . They both have such beautiful hearts and they look after me and my boyfriend so well. Finn has so much heart and as a manger, has created such a wonderful space for all souls who walk through were. He is genuine and creates a space where all are welcome. I would 100% recommended this place to all who are genuine with who you are 💖

Was looking for a place for a great cocktail and found Antica, it is a gorgeous bar with a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful mood lighting. A grand space for a date night, catch up, or even a solo outing. We were served by the wonderful Tom who made sure that our drinks were topped up and to an an amazing standard all night. He had amazing recommendations, and customer service that was fabulous, would highly recommend if looking for a good time with friends or just a relaxing night. Good price for what you’re getting and cocktails were amazing. Can’t wait to revisit!!

Nice Wednesday night escape! We requested a negroni and a Blood & Skye cocktail service by Chris (i think) was friendly and not rushed. Drinks were smooth, well-balanced, and showed quality spirits. The vibe, candlelit, intimate booths, really added charm. Value felt fair for the craft cocktails and prime Burnett Lane location. Thanks for a solid evening out.

Gorgeous atmosphere and exceptional cocktails! The vibe is spot-on, and the drinks are truly top-tier—no surprise given the incredible team behind it (and behind Death and Taxes). That said, it would be great to see the seating managed a little more thoughtfully, as several small groups were occupying larger booths. Service was polite and knowledgeable, though it took a while to receive menus and be offered a second drink. Still, the overall quality more than makes up for this.

I was here last Saturday night (16/08/25) with my partner. All the bar staff were extremely friendly and absolutely lovely to talk to. One of Brisbane’s hidden bars with a lovely atmosphere. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Conversation with them was pleasant. They do all the classic cocktails and some interesting specials. I tried one of the special cocktails, smoke on the water, its taste was exactly like the name of it. I enjoyed that experience so much. Definitely will go there again.

Superhero fan or not this bar is an absolute vibe, cocktails were amazing with Frenchie giving an experience and more including some fancy fairy floss and smoke bubbles. Definitely going back to try all of the cocktails. Harley Quinn and Mysterio were the personal favourites.

Hands down the best cocktails in Brisbane. Unique twists on classics as well as a few originals. Now the drinks here look great with excellent presentation what they do not do is hide mediocre drinks behind flashy over the top presentation. And the food is amazing, unique takes on some classics. 1st edition would be worth a visit for just the food or the drinks.

Absolutely love this place! The cocktails are *chefs kiss* and the food is to die for. So simple and reasonably priced (charcuterie and toasties); the attention to detail is what makes it feel like such a treat! The staff are absolutely amazing. 11/10 would recommend!!

Bar Brutus is a beautiful little nook with lovely bartenders, distinguished spirits, and prime window-seat-watching location on Fish Lane. We came on a Thursday night with no booking, but secured a corner seat for the evening. Bar Brutus is table service, and the menu offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with limited bar menu. From the spuntini menu we shared the Burrata / Tomato and Olive Salsa / Focaccia, which was divine. The focaccia wasn’t toasted with herbs as I usually prefer, but it was spongy and perfect for absorbing the oil and cheese. For drinks, I enjoyed one of spritz selections and my company enjoyed the pinot noir. Definitely recommend for an intimate night over low mood lighting - perfect for friends and lovers alike.

Went there for pizza night, with a booking for 7 pm. It doesn’t matter if you arrive early as the whole restaurant is served simultaneously. You are offered the pizzas by order of the menu and you get one slice each. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our first slice and they forgot us initially for the first slices so we were served the second slice initially. A few hiccups, including seating us in the warmest section in the restaurant; however, since there were so many pizzas made extra, them coming around and offering two slices of the same pizza was appreciated. Over all I’d say the dining experience was enjoyable but I wouldn’t go back for the pizza night again, some of the pizzas were a miss. It felt like we were eating focaccia at times, not pizzas. I’d return to try out the other items on their menu, and the overall restaurant is a vibe. The live dj was also enjoyable.

This was the cutest place we accidentally stumbled across. The food/ drink/ dessert were delicious. The service was amazing, I loved that we didn't have to order at the table and we got to ask our waiter about options. Incredible!!

This is one of the most vibey locations in Brisbane! Booking for my large group was super easy and prompt (I sent an email and heard back super quick). The team was so welcoming on the night and gave us back up options in case it started to rain. Pizza is YUM, beautiful base complimented with beautiful toppings. Loved the cocktail menu too. Overall 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had. Spinning vinyls. Good service. In a world full of many, we enjoyed just chilling here regardless of race, creed, colour or occupation. We loved being out of the Newstead / Fortitude Valley “bubble” Feel guilty writing this review as I don’t want the place to lose its cool vibe due to becoming gentrified or over populated. We felt like we were in another city, not Brisbane! Loved it and will be back for sure!

Pretty disappointed with the pizza lab. There isn’t much information on their website about how this works or what is included. We attended as a party of three, two of which are vegetarian. Turns out the pizza lab is a degustation set menu, where each person gets one slice of each of the six pizza options. Only two of these options were vegetarian. We asked staff if our two vegetarian guests could have more than one slice of the vegetarian options, and we were told that unfortunately there was only enough prepared for one slice of each. If dietary requirements cannot be catered for, this should have been more clear on the website and when we were sat for the degustation. We were told the degustation would start at 6pm, and first slices didn’t come out until at least 6.20pm. We had to flag down staff to order our included glass of wine at about 6.15. The pizza wasn’t anything special. Flavours were nice, but presentation and cooking wasn’t consistent. Some slices were dry and hard, and others were lacking toppings. I think this would be a nice place to come for a couple of drinks and light snacks, however the pizza lab degustation left plenty to be desired.

Flying Colours Bar is such a brilliant space for any event. It brings great atmosphere, looks incredible in photos, and the setup is both stylish and inviting without stealing the spotlight. As a photographer, I love how it naturally draws people in—there are always smiles, laughs, and beautiful candid moments happening around it. The team is professional, easygoing, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s the kind of vendor that elevates the experience for everyone involved.

We were a table of five for dinner, and unfortunately, our experience didn’t meet expectations. I ordered the cheese ravioli, which were honestly delicious. However, the rest of my group chose pizzas, and the quality was quite disappointing. To make things worse, the dishes were brought out over 10 minutes apart, so by the time we were all served, the food was already cold. The service was also underwhelming. One of the staff members accidentally dropped a pizza on one of my friends, and surprisingly, didn’t offer any help to clean up or even apologize. Overall, we were not impressed, and I don’t think we’ll be returning.

We got to experience Kazba when we were on our Urban Wine Walk! Lovely vibe and lovely staff. Some delicious Espresso Martinis and the Doughnuts were to die for. Highly recommend!

Extremely Disappointed – Wrong Order, No Refund, and Unhelpful Response This was honestly one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve had. I ordered falafel — something very simple and clear — and received a completely different meal that I didn’t ask for and didn’t want. There was no explanation, no message, no note — just the wrong food handed to me as if it didn’t matter. It’s beyond frustrating. What made it worse was how the situation was handled. I contacted Uber expecting a refund, but they refused to help or compensate me in any way. I was left with food I didn’t order and no support at all. Then I decided to call the restaurant directly, hoping they’d acknowledge the mistake or offer a solution. Instead, I was told to just order again. Seriously? After messing up my order and wasting my money, your solution is for me to pay again? That’s completely unacceptable and incredibly disrespectful to your customers. This whole experience shows a total lack of care, accountability, and customer service — from both the restaurant and Uber. I paid full price, got the wrong order, and was told to deal with it on my own. I will not be ordering from here again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing so. If something goes wrong, you’re completely on your own. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Lovely place, comfortable and good atmosphere. Had some great drinks. Scarlet in the bar is so awesome, she deserves all the tips, so bring cash! The Jerusalem spiced grilled chicken, was not great, (so overcooked i coudnt cut it), but the breakfast is jummy! Though they dont have fresh juice.

We had booked high tea at 3. We didn’t get served until 3:20. They served us only 3 teas from the menu, there were 6 without asking which ones we wanted. The food arrived after at 4. It was a good selection of sweet and savoury bites Turkish style. The one young staff who served us explained that they are understaffed. But considering none of the food was freshly made, why the delay?! There were obly 2 other groups. Disappointed.

Right on the Brisbane riverside, this bar is perfect for meeting friends after work. The terrace has a stunning river view, and inside feels like a cozy jazz lounge with comfy sofas and smooth music. I’ve already visited three times in the past month, which shows how much I enjoy it. The French bartender made me a custom cocktail that suited my taste (I don’t usually drink or like bitter flavors), and it was amazing. Plus, the French fries and fried eggplant are must-try signature dishes

Had an amazing night at this cool whisky bar! Joe, Clem, and the whole team were incredibly friendly and attentive! We never had to wait long for drinks and the cocktails were fabulous. The vibe was spot on, with DJ Mofunk spinning classic tunes on vinyl, creating the perfect mix of energy and chill…can’t wait to go back!

One of the best places to go for a night out! I went with a few of my girls last night, we drank the night away with stunning, delicious cocktails; my personal favourite being the Dragon Margarita, my friend also really enjoyed the Penicillin. The French bartender was awesome! He put so much love into the cocktails, you can tell he enjoys his job and it shows! Each cocktail was made to perfection! The prawn toast was delicious too! Overall such a great atmosphere, absolutely recommend, we will definitely be back!!

Hosted my 22nd birthday here in the gorgeous private lounge & it was quite literally perfect! The team were so accomodating with food & the drinks list was LONG (some of the best cocktails in bris), but overall had such a lovely night & so thankful to everyone who made it amazing!! Had my first experience here on Saturday night for a girls night dinner for a friends birthday. I can’t lie, I am more of a pub girl when it comes to food and was a little skeptical as to whether I would enjoy the more fine dining experience. I walked out of there unable to rate it higher!! The view was amazing, the staff were spectacular, the cocktails beautiful and the food, oh my god, the food was to die for!! So full of flavour and such an interesting menu!! We had some entrees, mains and desserts and us ladies all shared so we could try more of the foods. Stand out was definitely the duck and the bug meat, but honestly it was all amazing.

I went with my partner, and we loved everything! The architecture of the new place is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. We had the banquet 2, and it was absolutely amazing!! every dish was both beautiful and full of flavor. We enjoyed every bite. Big shoutout to this place!

A couple of dishes were very salty. Nice views on the balcony. Food were slow during peak hour? (8-9pm) took one hour for main dishes to arrive. We didn’t like the duck bao. The table was too small to fit 4 people and all the plates. Overall we had an enjoyable night, service was attentive.

Asian Fusion, did not disappoint. From the Oysters to the Prawn Toast, Ceviche starter to the Main Course, Steamed Murray Cod and the Pork all deliciously good. I thought the service lacked the attention that the prices betray. Bottom line $330 for three Impressive Asian Fusion in ideal spot by the River.

Been to Madame Wu multiple times and it never dissapoint. Few changes on there Banquet 1 menu but did not disappoint. Can’t pick a fave everything was delicious. Service always great. Made a booking with Madam Wu for my boyfriend’s birthday. We both hadn’t been there before. The staff, service & food were absolutely amazing! Even my boyfriend said, the whole experience was exceptional! Will definitely dine here again.

The mocktails? Absolute legends—next-level delicious, like they were mixed by a wizard with a PhD in refreshment. Exactly what the doctor ordered to soothe our jet-lagged souls. The atmosphere was pure chill, with vibes so relaxed we nearly forgot how to stand up. Perfect for unwinding while the Brisbane skyline put on a golden-hour show. The staff? Bloody brilliant! They served up top-notch banter alongside the drinks, keeping us grinning like kids in a lolly shop. We’re already plotting our return to Sixteen Antlers—those mocktails and that sunset are calling our names. If you’re after a spot to sip, laugh, and soak in the good life, this place is a must. Whoever’s behind the bar clearly knows their way around a shaker. The atmosphere was effortlessly cool: laid-back tunes, a golden skyline, and an energy that just says “you’ve made it.” It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you’re tempted to stay long after your glass is empty. The staff were fantastic—warm, witty, and clearly enjoying what they do. Their friendly banter added to the charm, making the experience feel personal and fun. Between the flawless cocktails and that unbeatable view, Sixteen Antlers is an easy five-star recommendation for anyone chasing good vibes and great company in Brisbane.

Had half an hour to kill and walked past and decided to go in for one cocktail and check the place out before our girls night. Amaretto sour and the views were amazing. That pool must be very tempting on a hot night after some cocktails. Nice cooling system! Wondering how much advance we should have to book?

We had our wedding reception done here, and I couldn’t be happier, everything was easy, the event team was amazing, even though our first contact left the company and we transitioned into the next person, was still so organised and smooth, they delivered exactly what we wanted and everyone complimented the place, the atmosphere, the drinks and food. The bartenders were super professional and delivered everything we asked so nicely. Thank you so much for making our special day perfect!

We were gifted a Groupon deal. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have bothered to visit this bar except maybe for the views. We were unable to get an outside seat as they were reserved. Food was mediocre for the prices charged, & service was slow. Our orders were mixed up to begin with, not exceptable when the place wasn't even busy

We stayed in this hotel for few days. Friendly staff. Great balcony view of the Brisbane river. Closer to motorway.

I honestly can’t recommend Eagles Nest at all. The food was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The potatoes were cold, stale, and not crispy at all and tasted like they had been sitting around for hours. The so-called salad was literally just lettuce and shredded cabbage dumped on the plate. No seasoning, no dressing, nothing to tie it together, completely dry and bland. The “king prawn” was tiny, not fresh, and absolutely not worth the $15 they charged for ONE prawn. The Moreton Bay bug bun was basically just coleslaw stuffed into bread with barely any bug meat. The chips were the best part, but even then they weren’t hot. On top of the poor food, the prices were outrageous. I wouldn’t have minded paying extra if the quality matched, but this was nowhere near worth it. For what’s supposed to be a premium venue, the food felt cheap, lazy, and rushed. Never coming back here, and I’d strongly suggest avoiding it if you’re looking for good food. All 8 of us left hugely disappointed by the experience.

Was super excited to try this place as heard many good things and being local … went yesterday with friends we were greeted with a warm welcome , the lady serving us was nice and polite … we ordered food I have to say very mediocre at best a rocket burrata salad $29 was extremely dry and a basket of bread $25 along with other things the food was like warm and it didn’t reflect the price go quality I think it’s a shame because the food scene in Brisbane now is amazing and this was a big let down for the area ! The bill coming to nearly $400 was extremely poor ! I think you guys need to reevaluate the menu and your pricing as I see the future being pointless opening when you have so many amazing pubs bars around kangaroo point with better quality and value for money !

Always a great day/night out with family or friends. We caught the citycat which had frequent stops. There's several food options (we had pizza and seafood, yum) great cocktails, even on busy days the wait time isn't too long. There's a pirate ship to keep the kids entertained and live music on the weekend, we love it here!

I visited Howard Smith Wharves on a rainy winter night, and the atmosphere was magical. The mild chill in the air, combined with the soft drizzle, made the lights on the Story Bridge and Brisbane’s towering skyscrapers even more captivating. The reflections on the wet ground added a romantic touch to the whole experience. Despite the weather, the area was lively yet peaceful — a perfect spot for a night stroll or a quiet drink by the river. It’s a must-visit location in the heart of Brisbane, especially if you enjoy scenic views and city lights with a unique riverside vibe.

There are a few restaurants and some kids are playing on the sand and pirate boat as well. Besides, you can play table tennis with somebody and drink some beers here (Felons Barrel Hall). (I forgot to take photos of that). Nice place for a big family!

So much to do and see. Great restaurants, amazing views and Felons has a laid back vibe, with their own brews on hand. Grab a table, or find a bean bag and just enjoy the moments. I also recommend Greca for an amazing dining experience.

This place is buzzing (even on a Sunday night), looks like they have taken all the business away from Southbank and Fortitude Valley (which was much quieter the same evening). Lots of eateries and places to drink. Great views of story bridge and just an awesome vibe.

A perfect spot for a Mediterranean vibe and great wine If you're looking for Mediterranean ambiance and excellent wine, La Lune is definitely a go-to in my opinion. It’s on the pricier side, but well worth it. We had an amazing evening and really enjoyed the experience.

From the first bite to the last sip, our dinner was flawless. The seared scallops starter melted in the mouth, followed by a rich duck confit paired perfectly with a bold Syrah. Dessert—a dark chocolate mousse with a late harvest Zinfandel—was pure indulgence. What truly elevated the night, though, was Salome. Her warm, knowledgeable service and impeccable timing made the evening unforgettable. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly professional—she was the heart of the experience. We’ll be back soon, and we’ll be asking for Salome.

Amazing. We opted in for the tasting menu with paired wines. The waitress was helpful and took the time to explain the wine pairings, where they'd came from and exactly what they were made of. We had a big party (9) and the restaurant was really quiet, so i could easily hear my colleagues which was great! nothing worse than shouting across the table to hear someone you're trying to have a conversation with. don't get discouraged by the small servings, by the time you have had 6 courses you will be full. It was a very special dinner and i couldn't recommend more.

Went first time to this place to see two music legends performing. It did take a long time to get our pizza after we ordered even though it wasn't that busy .Food was nice when it arrived .Helpful friendly and engaging staff , also great atmosphere downstairs where the music is performed .

Such a fun spot. Went on a Thursday with my friends and got the burger, fry, and beer deal for $24. I got the veggie burger and it was really good. I also tried their ranch which was amazing considering it isn’t a very popular condiment in Australia. Great deal and good vibes.

Went here for a Live Music gig, absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Very intimate and lit Uo like a home. The staff are lovely and the music strangely enough was very soundproofed from below so you could easily slip out without overwhelm if you needed. Lovely spot!
