Great bar, good taste but food took 90 minutes to arrive. This was Saint Patrick's Day, but at least the waitress should let you know that waiting times for food are significantly long! Still I give 3 stars since other times just consuming drinks was good and not as full as today.

I was here for the world cup final. I didn't realize that the pubs take reservations for busy events like this but luckily I snagged a solo bar seat which is where I wanted to be anyway. Predictably the place went from empty to insanity very quickly. I didn't struggle too badly to get a drink and they were reasonably priced. I don't order food but it sure looked good. Service was definitely moving as quickly as they possibly could. This place just seems like a really cool neighborhood pub, I'm glad I got to watch the match here.

One of the best places to have Irish beers(Guinness) and also they screen a lot of football matches here as well. I have been to this place multiple times and the crowd/vibe never fails to impress me. They have the best “Fish n Chips” everrrrrr!! 🤤. If you visit this place do nottt forget to try this, even if you are not hungryyyyyy. Also they have amazing Irish cottage pie. Well the place is budget friendly, no complaints but staffs keep changing every now and then, some of them are rude/Unfriendly. Otherwise a veryyy good place to just chill with a beer.

Amazing pub with friendly staffs and owner. Great draft Magners that I have been looking for in whole of Frankfurt, great draft Guiness, and great apfelwein. But the food is to me the real star. The memory of eating the hand cut fries here will remain with me for the rest of my life. Also give the battered sausages & chips, as well as the fall of the bone ribs a try, great stuff. I had wished that they have fried rice, but really what I'm wishing now is that they're not halfway around the world from where I'm living.

We had a great time at O'Reilly's. The people were amazing. We booked the table online. We went there to watch the soccer match. The people were so kind to take to change our tables to a room where we can watch the match. The drinks were amazing. And the was good too. The pub had a great vibe. Go there for good times. Loved it.

The food was authentic, but the service was sub par. We waited quite a while to get any service. Finally a man showed up and took our drink and food order. After our food arrived a female came by and said we needed to pay because her shift was over. She had never been to our table so thought it was funny she wanted us to pay her out. We were also never asked if we needed more to drink or anything.

We had gone for dinner, The black Asian/indian girl made us get up from dinner table saying sit at the bar… Ahmet gave us another table for dinner and told us that she does not like Indians… that’s a grave insult by restaurant owners… if you get Ahmet, Kavya or Ella you are lucky… atmosphere was electric… bit dirty… but good location, good vibes, good beer, bad food for vegetarians… almost nothing…

My Irish boyfriend is craving for Irish Breakfast so went we tried O'Reilly's. The food was amaaaaziiing! I have eaten to other Irish Pubs and this is the best so far! Best buffalo wings, bbq ribs, and make to sure to get extra sausages! Gerard made sure we have the best experience and attented to us perfectly! He is very welcoming and the service is superb, I'm confused if I am still in Germany 😂 The vibe was also super fun! The people are just full of laughter and enjoying the moment. We will be baaaack

A very nice and clean Irish pub with a wide selection of drinks and dishes. Inside is pleasant and airy, with decent service. However, the area in front is chaotic and feels unsafe both day and night, which makes the overall experience less enjoyable.

Had the Schnitzel with green sauce and potato salad. Was good. It was during the day I visited while waiting for a bus so it wasn't that busy.

We went to Frankfurt for a football game. We were lucky to be staying close to O'Reilly's Irish Bar. The food was excellent, especially the Guinness Stew. Every one of the staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and actually appeared to enjoy working there. Hospitality at its best. Thanks to all who ensured that we had a fabulous 3 days, especially Conor and Adrian.

Stopped by with a group of friends for a pint and chow. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger and was presented with a chicken bacon cheeseburger. The waitress apologized and offered to bring a beef burger within five minutes. My wife said she would try the chicken cheeseburger. Next time she will be more specific about what burger she orders. I ordered the fish and chips and was presented with the biggest piece of fish I’ve ever eaten as a fish and chips meal. I’m certain this is not to be expected all the time but it made up for the soggy potato wedges. We’ll be back.

I would not have thought that an Irish Pub has great food. But this one actually had. I had the most delicious goat cheese salad. It came with a very generous amount of goat cheese which was very delicious. The dressing was flavorful. Well made Salad! The Guinness was chilled. They have a DJ at night on the weekends that start around 11pm. Mixed music. No entry and it gets crowded.

Nice place to hang out, but i get the feeling they think their customers are on the low side of the intellegence spectrum, or they are cheap. Ordered a whisky no ice, they brought one with ice, asked them to correct the order, they just filtered out the ice and gave me the same drink, hence watered down whiskey. Ordered a 2nd no ice, obvious color and taste difference. They are just too cheap to pour it out. Food is great, location is great, i just dont like my intelligence being questioned.

It's my favourite place in Frankfurt. I come here to watch football, mondays pub quiz and then friday night to dance! No matter what you like it is an amazing place with great atmosphere! 💖

I have been a fairly regular customer at Waxy's for the past 22 years and, for me, it's like a home from home and will always hold a special place in my heart as that's where I met my husband! The service and food are good and they show lots of different sport. Even if your match/event is not pre-announced on the website as being shown, ask in advance and they can normally organise it for you on a screen (with a table booking). It is very easy to make contact and book a table/area. They communicate well and are very organised. Even if they are often super busy, they are friendly and cope well! This will always be my favourite place to go for a post-work/pre-dinner drink or to watch Crystal Palace beat Liverpool. ;-)

If you like beer and tasty snacks - it is the right place to visit. I ordered Guinness and French fries - all were perfect. The service is also amazing, it is fast and you are not left alone for a long time. The pub itself is nice, there are tables both inside and outside. Online reservation is possible for those that placed outside. If is better to do it in advance in case of sports events. I highly recommend to visit this bar with friends, colleagues and family.

Great place to watch NFL football in Frankfurt. The guy running the TVs had no issues changing one to the Lions game. They also play NFL Redzone on quite a few TVs which was awesome. Fish and chips were great, as well as the beer.

I believe they should be a restaurant not a pub! The pies we had were soooooo good and authentic. Also the staffs are so kind and friendly:).

It's taken a place by the end of one of the biggest commercial roads in Frankfurt by the ( north west) I think. Not much to be honest , (talking atmosphere). was pretty quiet. Service is just normal. Price Ok

Randomly stopped here while walking around Frankfurt, and glad we did. Only stayed for 30 minutes or so, but the bartender was extremely friendly, the music was right up our ally, and the local patrons watching soccer were entertaining.

Perfect place to enjoy the British culture of pubs in Germany! I really love the authentic style of the pub, where it seems really like you arrive the UK! Especially since the dominating language is English, of both staff and customers. They have really good daily offers of their traditional food range. If you come here for that, I would recommend to take one of their homemade pies or the fish and chips (they even have the typical malt vinegar for it... without it's simply not the same). Additionally, the possibility to enjoy only some drinks at the bar makes it perfect. All in all it's really worth to go here!

I had a drink here. I went to see the final of the Champions League (Inter vs City). If you want to pay separately you have to go inside the pub to pay. The kitchen was closed when I order a burger at 21:10. The TV screen was too small.

The food was great I had the four corners platter something like that...it was perfect...the service was alright and the fact that the menus are in English and they spoke English was super cool. I have a hard time with German only speaking restaurants or places. You should try this place

Ok bar, not many (any) enriches, so you can feel the local atmosphere. Cheapest beer is 5 eur from the bottle for 500ml. Guinness 6.5 eur for 500ml. I deducted one star for misleading customers: google reviews says Thursday till 5:00 am. Actual: 1:00 am. Come one man ;) Ps: men's toilet bathroom has a mirror which is 80%+ covered in stickers. It is practically impossible to use it. Who is the stupid person who thinks such a mirror is ok? You literally can not see anything.

Nothing Irish about this place, barman was not interested in work or serving people. We were told to use the QR scanner to order and pay for food. The only one that worked was the drinks menu so we left, nothing welcoming or friendly here.

We arrived on a wednesday evening a little after 11pm. There were a few people in the bar, it was fairly quiet. The bartender clearly didn't want anyone to be there and made you fell it. As soon as we sat down a group of 8 people arrived. Then a small group arrived and were told they were only allowed to order 1 drink however he could not use his credit card unless he spent 15 euros which forced him to also buy a shot since he didn't have any cash. I would not go here again, usually Irish pubs are a welcome friendly place... this one was anything but.

There is a Beer Pong tournament every Thursday night. We try to go there as often as possible, it's always fun! I'm not the biggest fan of the burgers, besides that I can just recommend this place however :)

Nice pub in general. Fully wooden decoration gives a feeling of originality. They don't serve food, but are okay with people bringing their own food, which is not easy to find in general in Frankfurt. It can get a bit hot and steamy in the summer, but there's space to sit outside, so it works out at then end. Prices are the normal ones for a pub in Frankfurt. The Pub Quiz on Mondays is really good.

Best place to hang out with friends in Sachsenhaisen. Love to be here on Thursday to participate in beer pong tournament. Must visit place on Thursday evening and great place to hang out with group of people. You will be more excited about the funny team names on the board 😄

Decent bar. However quite small and narrow design. There is not so much seating. Sometes during night hours it gets incredibly crowded so you can barely move. Cocktail taste okay. While I was there there was only one bartender working for two dozens of people. Service was mediocre. Other bars are more recommended.

A small bar which is not trying to be overly fancy (which is a good thing). The staff is very friendly and live music is played on weekends. The offered selection of drinks is actually pretty small but good and they will usually serve your favourite drink even if it’s not on the menu. The drinks itself are great. You can pay by cash or ec card (no credit card!).

Excellent service and the cocktails were really good. I brought some friends from Taiwan to it and we had a great time. The only problem was that some people were smoking inside and I thought that it was not allowed but the staff did not tell them anything, so it is a smoking bar, keep it in mind if you go.

Excited to visit what had been described as the best bar in Frankfurt, I was bitterly disappointed. Absolutely no vibe, and the rudest bar staff I've ever encountered. The owner of the bar took my drink before the mixer was added and poured it back in the bottle. He didn't even have the decency to look me in the eye or introduce himself. This was the worst bar I've ever been to (being English I've been to many a bar!) I would strongly suggest avoiding this establishment at all costs, never has there been an owner less deserving of one's business.

Great vibe, very happening small bar with live DJ on weekend. They have interesting unique and old classic quality mixed drinks. You may have to wait a while for your drink.

Irish lad at the bar wasn't particularly friendly, made me feel a bit stupid for asking if he spoke English... in a foreign country I feel it's polite to ask somebody first before speaking in English, even if you're in an Irish pub there might be staff that only speak German. Honestly I felt like a bit of an inconvenience ordering my drinks, he seemed fed up judging by the tone he used with me and the fact he didn't smile. However, the pub itself is nice. It is like a classic Irish/English pub, lots of good options to drink, lively atmosphere with outdoor seating and football streaming. Female toilets were clean and nice. Some people complain about the smoking, yes it did smell but it was actually nice to be able to vape indoors, a luxury I haven't seen in the UK, if you don't like it there are other pubs around. There was a German bartender who was very friendly, and I was happy overall with my experience here. Not sure I'd come back though, lots of Irish pubs in the area with friendlier staff. It was ok, if you're in the area and fancy a cigarette with your beer then I recommend it.

The service is absolutely perfect, the view, the experience everything is worth it but unfortunately the food is not that special. I would expect more from a michelin star restaurant. It wasn’t bad dont get me wrong, it just wasnt 1000€ good. Dubai, tel aviv and other cities with michelin star restaurants were just better food wise.

I found it a bit too pricey and the portions are tiny, even that it is the tasting menu. The food was very good, very artistic and service was very good, not too fancy. However, I would appreciate some local touch and use of more local products instead of constantly mentioning how their tomatoes came from the best Spanish tomatoes (where exactly in Spain lol) or some French vegetables or even more far away places. Wine by glass is too expensive too and wine pairing, consisting of 6 glasses of 100ml glasses is way too big for me, I would not be able to drink a whole bottle of wine alone.

My sister and I were in the lounge and had a few drinks (Mojitos, Negroni, Espresso Martini, Macallan Whiskey) as well as the cheese selection. Everything was very tasty and beautifully prepared. The view was amazing and the staff very attentive and friendly.

Excellent cuisine with a view. The Main Tower delivers a beautifu viewl of the city and some delicious molecular gastronomy, but lacks in ambience and service. The setting is a bit austere and does not have the opulence of some other fine dining establishments. The service is typical German: to the point. The dishes were explained well, but it was all transactional. If you don't order the wine course - good luck. Cocktails and other drinks were hard to come by - my sole cocktail was never offered for a refill, water refills were also rather slow. The pace of the dinner is very slow, one truly can relax and enjoy the meal over 4+ hours with the nice sunset view of the city. All the courses were expertly crafted and very good to exceptional. Only a few, such as the quail for main course was sub-par. It is a bit pricey and I must admit the experience, while very good, just didn't have the wow factor we were looking for.

I would give more than 5 stars if i could do. Everything is perfect. Very good service. Beautiful view. Amazing creative food. Very delicious. We reserved a table for 3 course dinner for our wedding anniversary last year and this year. The price is quiet expensive. But worth it. We want to go for fantastic dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year.

Since I live in Frankfurt (which is about 3 years) I've always wished to experience this amazing Panorama Restaurant, highlight of the city. I had luck, as I called only 10min before my arrival to book a table, and had luck to receive one (normally one needs to book days earlier, and sometimes weeks). Needless to say I was amazed with the beautiful panorama and the simple, yet sophisticated interior of the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients were complete new to me (as I usually stick to me personally known recepies). Every course was presented in details by the competent and very polite and professional waiter. Special thanks to the waiter Mr. Wilhelm (I hope I rememmber correctly) who made our experienced so pleasant. With regards to the price, I would not say it is expensive. Good food. Burgers, salad, bruchetta, champions all tasty. However, the humus seemed to be from a family pack / super market. Inside the restaurant was a bit too cool. The winter garden is smoking area with some hot spots. For parking choose a parking garage nearby. No toilet for wheelchairs.

Great landmark location directly at the Eschenheimer Turm/Eschenheimer tower. The restaurant is in the Eschenheimer tower, with great sitting space outside. The historic significance , built in the 1400s adds value to the space. Recommend the burger and fries, friends had the flame and seafood they also loved it. Opens until past midnight so available foe a late meal too.

Thought this was going to be a tourist trap with overpriced average food. How wrong was I? The best beyond meat vegan burger ever with side of fries dusted in paprika served on a brioche with mayo and ketchup on the side. It's in a historic tower in the middle of Frankfurt. The toilets are up the tower, so make sure you've got plenty of time. A really great experience.

During my stay in Frankfurt lastJune, I discovered near my hotel a lovely Coffee-Bar-Restaurant called Eschenheimer. Very good dishes with courteous and professional service. I chose the place to be my home restaurant so I had the chance to taste several dishes ... and each dish was a bingo! Meat, seafood, pizzas, interesting salads ... and great beers. i arrived to Frankfurt once again few days ago and I’m dining there almost every day lunch or dinner. I enjoyed being there on June and I’m happy to be there again this week !

Great place for a cocktail. Happy hour until 22:00. Be warned though the toilets are at the top of the tower! Service is quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. There’s a cocktail happy hour 18:00-22:00 with many offered at a reduced price of €9.50. Didn’t have food but what other guests had looked good.

Fantastic place to enjoy some drink after dinner. There are many tables outside (blankets are provided for those who suffer cold) and the bar is inside a tall tower you can easy spot from the neighborhood. Sound strange, but I suggest you taking some time to "visit" the toilet that on the 1st floor of the tower (take care of the stairs if you enjoyed too much drinks)

This restaurant has something very special, is inside and around a tower which was build around the year 1346, the tower was used to protect the city at that time, today this tower at Frankfurt downtown and you can test great international food. Inside the tower, the space is reduced and there is space for the bar and few tables but as mentioned previously around the tower they have tables too, either you want to enjoy good food inside or outside the atmosphere of the place is really nice. What not everybody know is that in this restaurant if you have a bigger event or special occasion you can make a reservation of what they call „Kaminzimmer“ this place is at the top of the tower and has much more space and is really nice to enjoy your drinks and food at the top of the tower. The food that I recommend is the one on hot stones, I love the stakes, prawns or chicken but they have great salads, pasta, pizza, etc. for drinks as well they have a big selection of wines and cocktails. On regards price i think you pay for what you get that is a great experience, moment and good food and drinks. The staff is friendly just in crowded ours somethings you need to wait a little bit to get serve. If you are near to Frankfurt and you are looking for a special place where to enjoy good food and drinks don’t hesitate to visit the Eschenheimer Turn restaurant you will like it.

Super friendly place with great welcoming staff, Andy was brilliant and chatted to us like he was an old friend. Claudia was good too and the owner sat and watched the rugby with us and talked the game with us, can't recommend enough, proper English pub Beer was good too, Newcastle Brown Ale on tap, what more could you ask for :) Cheers guys xxx

Worst food I've had in a long time. Chicken breast barely seasoned, baguette sopping from all the liquid accumulated on plate. Taste zero presentation zero. Took over ten minutes to be served despite the pub having no more than half a dozen customers who were already sat down and eating.

Claudia was a great bartender. She was so lively and full of character and the service was excellent. I will definitely be visiting whenever I come back

This place is huuuuuge and super crowded on the weekends. Honestly, I think they need to have more staffs at this place because we really had to wait for a long time just to get our beers. And then we didn’t want to order another beer because of the waiting time. There were only 2-3 staffs serving this entire place and most of the times they were confused with our orders. The vibe is great of course, with peaceful outdoor seating in their garden. They have some amazing beers as well, come in lot of British varieties. We also tried their Fish n Chips and Cottage pie!! They were all great. Looking forward to atleast get my beer quickly next time.

Appreciate it's been the Euros this week and there's a lot more customers than usual, but this breakfast was below par. It took ages to get the breakfast, when it arrived the beans were cold, the egg was over cooked, and the 'toast' wasn't toasted. We paid €13 for the breakfast, it was really small and just underwhelming. I left most of it as it was just gross.

I had the best time here watching the Euro Cup! My waitress Claudia made me feel right at home. She has been the best server I have had here in Germany!

We only utilized the beer garden but it was perfect for a sunny day in the spring. Though the line could get long, it moved quickly. There is an opportunity to rent a beach chair for the grassy area. When those are gone, blankets are available. There is also a pay toilet in the building.

Wow, America can take some notes here. Brother and I backpacking, first night in Frankfurt and stumbled onto this fun and family friendly area on the Main River walkway outside of downtown. Plenty of open green space to play or relax and lay. Beer was flowing.

A nice little cafe on the Main river. Mostly for drinks - beers, apple wine, bathroom; sliced banana bread, … no sandwiches, and a chipped wine glass. 10 euro min charge for using credit card.

This cafe is incredible with an amazing view of Frankfurt's skyscrapers. It has outdoor seating which makes the view enjoyable. I wish they have some more non-alcoholic beverages. The cafe has cash-only payment system.

Intended to get something when my wife joined me... Unfortunately before she could join me from upstairs at the fleamarket... I was chased away by a blonde lady with medium length hair. Apparently sitting in the 30°C sunlight at an unoccupied table when only 9 out of 20 Tables were occupied was unacceptable. No one wanted to sit there in the direct noonday sun. I wasn't bothering anyone. No one needed the table. And you know... I don't argue when someone who commands you to leave. She could have asked if I intended to buy something... I walked over to my wife and we decided to get an applewine upstairs at the food cart instead. I understand that you don't want to just have people sitting there taking up space... But it costs 10-30s to ask if someone is going to buy something. We won't come back. We will not attempt to be customers a second time. Politeness is free... Rudeness costs customers.

Spent a wonderful evening at this pub just before taking the train back to Frankfurt from Bad Homburg.. family get together. Service is key and it was awesome here with an international friendly staff looking after us. She also asked my mother if she would like some tea as she was feeling a bit cold. The prices were okay and we had some snacks and some beer. Both were awesome and we also managed to make it in time for our train. Definitely recommend for a quick bite and some good music.

DON'T GO HERE TO EAT! Their cook quit and the new one has a lot to learn! Even the manager will tell you not to order anything from their food menu, except a burger and we should have listened! We had a reservation at 5:30 and when we got there we were told the cook did not come in until 6. We should have left, but we had been to Jimmy's several times before and really enjoyed the meal. We had brought friends with us this time and had really bragged up the place for their great food! The manager then told us the former cook had quit and her husband was cooking on the weekends and cook coming in was not the best and to stick with a hamburger. Foolish us, we wend ahead and ordered the Fish & Chips, after all, it is an Irish Pub! Big mistake! Our friends ordered the Schnitzel, it was CRISPY! Hardly eatable! We should have sent everything back and had it redone or asked for something different and we would have if we would have been alone. When the invoice came for the meal, even though the manager knew most of our meals were still on our plates and not eatable, we were charged full price! I sent this same message in an email to the establishment with no response. I guess they are only interested in the IRISH PUB part of their business. Sincerely, A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER

Great people, great service, a sunny dark place. In the winter, you can sit inside, but as soon as it is warm enough you can also sit outside. And it is always fun. Here, you can sing karaoke or listen to live music. You can drink or eat and drink. It is always nice and fun. It is a pleasure to be here. Card payment is accepted.

I went there with friends for karaoke night & it was a lot of fun. :) The server was really nice and given the fact how crowded it was, he was really quick with the drinks as well. I enjoyed the cheesy garlic bread. Great choice!

Had a great time. Staff friendly, food exceptional and has a great pint of Guinness. Caters for everyone - family friendly. Bar has a small terrace which is nice in the summer months.

We came to the pub 19.34 and our table was already occupied with few guys who were already served and were drinking beer. After other 5 minutes we finally got the attention from the waitress who was avoiding to speak with us. She explained that we were late and she gave the table away. She told us to speak with her colleague, who made the decision. Her colleague just shut us down saying that she is to busy and she doesn’t have time to explain herself and we were kicked out of the pub. First of all, It’s a biggest nonsense that coming to you reservation 4mins late is treated as a no-show. On top of it, guys who was sitting there were already served and were drinking. There is no way they were there for only few mins. Lastly the second waitress was really rude and she has a leak of respect for the customers. Funny thing, we were few mins late, because we were getting money from ATM, because in the pub they do not accept cards.

We had a cracking night here, live music was playing and people dancing and drinking and just having fun. It was packed, we managed to find a table to share and enjoyed our evening. Many of us had food, and this was welcomed and enjoyable. A supe little friendly place to visit.

As an Irishman, there's an irony that my worst ever pub experience was caused by a non-Irishman in an Irish pub in Germany. We arrived and it was quite busy, but there were no signs to wait to be seated and none of the tables had reserved signs on them, so we sat down. Immediately the chunky blonde bartender shouted at us that we shouldn't sit somewhere without asking and that he has 'nothing free for us', effectively telling us to leave. We did nothing to this man and this level of instinctive rudeness feels staggeringly incompetent. This is the complete opposite of the behaviour you expect from an Irish pub, especially when you've objectively done nothing wrong. We'll never go back.

The only proper bar in Oberursel, the service is good and attentive, Staff can be a bit demanding on tips and unfriendly, probably because they have the monopole in town. 😊Good drinks, food is average.

Great pub in Oberursel! Food is good, drinks are even better! Waiters are always friendly and always check if you have enough drinks. On the weekends there are live acts, which are good. All in all I can recommend going here, as it is always fun!

Not really seeing the Irish part of this Pub, it’s a German Pub. It is obvious they seat the English only patrons outside and locals inside. When looking for the restroom the bartender came out from behind the bar and pushed me towards the door. When inquiring why, I was asked to go outside. The outside seating area feels like an old barn with mismatched furniture, unwashed blankets and 1 heater for 4 tables to share. It was a mess. Waited for waitstaff and nobody showed and people outside can’t order drinks at the bar. Don’t waist your time here, it’s “at capacity”!

This was one of the best places I visited in Frankfurt. A small and very interesting bar. We ordered some incredibly unique drinks, each with a different flavor and way of being served. I was completely surprised with each sip and enjoyed it immensely.

Excellent service and very friendly bartender. Definitely a World Class Bartender and a very nice location. When I'll be back in Frankfurt, I'll definitely coming back for the great cocktails.

One of the best cocktail bars, offering World class cocktails outside of the pina colada mainstream... the service is excellent, the recommendations fabulous! This is a bar, which really deserves to be called "outstanding"! 5 stars are not enough to describe the incredible unique taste of cocktails but also the excellent service, the cozy ambient seating and the chlling, rocky back ground music. We for sure will be back!

A wonderful cocktail bar, a little bit hidden in the city. The waitress was really friendly and the owner makes the cocktails. He was very kind and took his time to explain all the cocktails we ordered and their ingredients. We are from the Netherlands and have been to a lot of cocktail bars in different countries and this one was by far the best. We can highly recommend this bar.

Had a great time at Bar Helium. The atmosphere is really stylish and comfortable, even in the afternoon it had a nice relaxed vibe. They have a large selection of cocktails and everything we tried was well made and full of flavor. The staff was really friendly and helpful, happy to give recommendations based on what you like. The prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality and overall experience make it worth it. Definitely a place I would come back to when in Frankfurt.

OMG you need to come to this please. Jeff( his American name) will customize a drink for you if you tell him your favorite spirit. Also the staff are extremely friendly me and my wife are celebrating our birthdays and they spent 20 minutes giving us different recommendations. The hospitality was the best we have experienced in all of Germany so far. Maze and Johnny were part of the team and we can not express how nice they were.

Me and my wife were recommended this place by a waiter at der fette bulle and could not be happier with the suggestion. Having worked in the service industry for years they know how to treat their guests. Excellent drinks excellent staff excellent service.

Stopped here on a long layover. All the bartenders and servers were super friendly and made sure no one made me feel uncomfortable in the bar. Will definitely come back to visit again. Great vibe, great music & great people!

We were staying in the hotel so we decided to check out the 22nd bar/lounge. We came right when it opened. The bar is located next to the hotels front desk so we asked the front desk if we needed a reservation which they said no. So when we asked to be seated the host asked if we had a reservation, which we didn’t. We stated that the front desk said we didn’t need one and the host smirked and made a sly comment about it being a Friday night…just to seat us anyway (there were no one there). The food menu was simply bar food, which is fine but they pretty much only had chips left. No olives or anything else. The house cocktails were very minimal but you could ask the bartender to make whatever you want. The view and atmosphere was nice, which is probably why the bar gets such a high rating. The drinks were fine, average.

Without booking expensive cocktails bar. Expect long minutes of wait at the entrance before being taken to your table that you can’t even choose. If you don’t like it, waiters will make you understand that other customers would take it anyway View can be pretty amazing if you’re located near the windows. Cocktails are nice but double the price. Music very loud, hard to keep a conversation. Ok for a drink, not for an evening.

Expectations and reality didn’t quite match. I didn’t like the view from our table. The service was okay, but I wouldn’t call it great. However, the cocktails were tasty.

So the atmosphere is really nice. It feels like quiet the classy bar. The staff is also very friendly, on time and tries to make you feel very welcome. My biggest point of criticism is, that the signature cocktail are not as special, as the prices suggest. We had the lady in red and the old fashioned Variation and they were decent, but not amazing. With the lady in red, the fruitiness of the juices overpowers any taste of the alcohol. And the old fashioned, the mixture of coconut and chocolate bitters was interesting, but missed a component to tie it together for me. Maybe a small piece of dark chocolate with it would round it off a bit more.

I expected much more from this place. On Friday we waited 10 minutes at the entrance, then 20 minutes in the waiting room, then we were transferred to the bar area, where we just stood by some very small wooden table for another 20 minutes until we left. And the whole time you're standing and waiting to get a normal table. I had heels, and it was a disaster to stand for that long. Prices are high. “Sex in the city” 🍸 for 19€ is too much. There is not really a good view from 22nd floor, and the atmosphere and the place itself aren't high class at all. It's just an average 2 star bar.

Average service for what they call a premium lounge. Views are nice, but it‘s pretty small and honestly at the bathroom you get a better view than in the actual sitting area. Eating? Nope, unfortunately..

Its a little odd place. Its very pretentious while the staff is not up to that level. The atmosphere is a bit strange. They try to have this high class cosmopolitan style.... its like they try to mimic something out of a movie, but did not succeed. You are only allowed to order Cocktails and Mocktails. I personally did not want to drink anything with alcohol or anything artificial, so i asked if they could just give me orange juice.. They refused. They used orange juice in the cocktails, so they did have it. I finally after a lot of talking accepted, when i said i will pay the same as a cocktail... so that was a 13 euro orange juice.... Just because i did not want to drink alcohol or artificial ingredients. The best way to describe the staff is: "Even though a monkey wears a golden ring, it is and always will be an ugly thing". Real high class people dont behave like this staff. They are secure with themselves and will just act human. They dont have to pretend.

Will never come again. Came in tonight nd ordered 4xCorona, 1x beer and a find and tonic and got charged 60€ immediately as if the man calculated it in his head. After reviving my drinks I requested a till receipt from another employee for my transaction. The total came to 39.50€. Got overcharged nearly 30% of the bill and had to then request the difference from the original employee who took the payment. Will never come again.

Stumbled across this place right in the city. Though we didn't try the food, I thought the place was a perfect neighborhood pub. Decent prices, cozy vibes, and good service. I would return, but was only in town for two days.

Half decent drinks selection, can hear your friends and its open til late. Unfortunately, we came home reeking of smoke and had to wash EVERYTHING twice, just because a couple of folk wanted a cigarette with their beer. Paying was a stressful and a scam. Reciept said €51, few days later our bank account said they charged us €10 more than what the reciept said. They forgot to include a €8.50 drink in the payment but then wouldnt accept card because it was less than €25, but it wasnt our fault they forgot it, it was nice of us to be honest and say they missed it off. 1st they tried to charge me €25 for the drink then said okay only €10. Like no. Managed to find the cash between us. They acted like a**holes about it, not the way we wanted our night to end.

One of the few places that stay open till late with some good food. The staff is also really friendly, but you will definitely come out with your clothes smelling like cigarettes since it is allowed to smoke inside.

It's a smoking pub after 6pm. My friends loved it. I had a whiff of cigarette for days after which hasn't happened for 20 years. Beer was good, food was OK, and the smoke was thick in the air. Which had a nostalgic, melancholic feel.

That’s the worse shisha bar in Frankfurt. Very pricey! They set a limit of 1.5 hours for the table even the booking reservation says 2.5 hours. if you ask why they will say we have too many guests waiting and we have to accept it. The waiters are very rude. They take your drinks before they are finished and then they come back to ask you what else you want to drink??? This is a repetitive experience. If you want to be insulted visit Obar!

Not recommended at all, we were several people to have some drinks and a few did not want to take anything (the drinks are super expensive), the manager is very rude and told our friends to leave if they were not going to consume anything, although the bar was half empty and they did not bother anything to the local functions. When it was time to leave and pay the rude manager wanted to charge us 6€ more for a beer that was not ours and threatened to call the police. Definitely one of the worst places I have ever found.

This was my first time visiting this bar, and it will definitely be my last. The staff were unfriendly, and the overall organization was terrible. To make matters worse, their reservation system was completely unclear.

The cocktails were good and the waiting line was very long to get inside. Reservations are possible and it’s better to make them prior. DJ played the amazing music hence the ambience was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The badest experience i had. The service is very bad. If you don’t consume alcohol you would discriminated This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The service was terrible, and if you don’t drink alcohol, they discriminate against you.

The place is nicely decorated and well located, they have good music and comfortable seats. However, there were many things that I disliked when I went there: the service wasn’t the kinder in the first place but they got really worse when I kindly asked if they could put more alcohol in my drink because it didn’t have any. (They answered the put a fixed amount of 4cl but I truly believe my drink was also mixed with tonic water or something else). Secondly, we had to move from inside to outside because the table was reserved, we knew this information so it wasn’t a problem and we didn’t take long to take our things and move outside, however, they didn’t turn on the warm ac neither came to change the coal of the Shisha until we had to ask for it. So, to resume…I wouldn’t recommend the overpriced longdrinks and the unkind service of the place. Maybe if you go with a reservation and only to smoke and drink nonalcoholic drinks, you could enjoy your experience.

Amazing bar! Great service, great atmosphere. Their whiskey selection is the best in FFM. I was lucky to try several bourbons that are no longer produced. Their cocktails are also very good! The bartenders are friendly and can recommend a great cocktail based on your likes. Highly recommend for a date or just a chill night out.

We have been once again in the Embury Bar. Our drinks were again excellent and the atmosphere was right. Unfortunately, this bar is a smoking bar, but the ventilation is very good. Therefore this was not a problem. Thank you

We visited outside peak hours and chose to seat at the bar, menu is great it tells a story, the staff was friendly. First time cocktail bar experience where water is not served, that takes the star off. On the positive note it has very good ventilation so you dont feel the smoke of the person smoking next to you.

This is an absolutely must to visit bar if you’re in Frankfurt Germany!!!!!! This is the classic dim lighting, limited seating and standing in line outside for the best drinks if you want to experience a classy bar. We found this place bc my husband had a hard finding a bar that had Blaton’s bourbon or Johnnie Walker Blue available and this was the PLACE. We arrived around 4pm and was able to be seated immediately at the bar. It was quite at first and then at 5:30-6pm was when the crowd started lining up to get in. The bartenders were extremely nice!!!!! The menu had so much to choose from. They serve small appetizers if you were hungry but nothing bigger. The scene when it was peak time was so cool!!! The esthetic appearance of the bar was something anyone would want to experience. Selection was great. Prices is reasonable. Staff is excellent. Service is excellent. Overall we are definitely going back there.

Unique and great. I had Bowmore in Ashes revised. It was an utterly alien experience. I never tasted something like this. A drink in layers where the taste changes by the second in your mouth. If I stuff my room full of whiskey and cream, then burn it down and walk through the ashes this was the taste. Incredibly complex..

Superb quality! Hidden bar, entering via a ringbell at the entrance. The interior is very well designed, that creates a very cozy and relaxed environment for nice conversations. Drinks were all good. Service was exceptional. Very attentive staff!

This bar has a great environment, normally you have to wait to get in but ir worth. The cocktails are just great! They also can suggest you something for you if you are not sure of which one suits better with you. The decoration of the cocktails is really cute. The prices are around 14€ per cocktail.

A friend of mine recommended this bar as it won some awards. But based on my experience, I highly do NOT recommend this place because of its NON-PROFESSIONAL nature. You had to ring the bell before you came in, which made me think this should be an excellent niche bar -- now I realized I was 200% wrong. First, no air conditioner, felt like over 30℃ inside. Second, their quality was far from a professional bar. I started with a Gin & Kinly house tonic -- not too bad, but also not refreshing enough, given that I was in a "Sauna room". Every professional bartender should understand the importance of temperature to a cocktail; but I was surprised they didn't do anything to MATCH their insane room temperature. The second drink -- also my last one -- the GUISO, was not balanced at all: too heavy cherry flavor, not enough alcohol suppression (the dilution was not correct). I don't believe any professional bartender can serve this drink to their customers. It went better after 10 min -- obviously now the dilution became a bit correct -- but still I didn't think the recipe was an outstanding one. Perhaps this bar changed after winning awards; perhaps the bartender who made my drink was an unprofessional freshman. But anyway it gave me such a bad experience that I never had before.

I have been to many amazing cocktail bars in many places across the globe. The quality and spirit of service is outstanding here. The conversation and mood superb. The drinks themselves are perfectly made, imaginative and delicious.

The place has got a very good reputation in the city, but, sorry, I don't understand why!? Yes, there is an exciting list of creative cocktails and this is the only positive point. The quality and portion is not really acceptable compared to expensive prices. The volume of alcohol was not satisfying. Ambiance is a disaster; too dark and hot - no air conditioner. Let's not mention the location!

Peculiar little bar in the style of speak easy. Only a black door, no sign of the bar. You have to ring a bell, someone let's you in and brings you down to the basement. You don't get a menu but tell the waiter or waitress what kind of drink you like and they create something for you. Usually very uncommon, mostly good, but if you don't like it they happily make you a new drink for free. Prices are rather high, about 13-14 eur for one cocktail. But that's what you have to pay for the atmosphere and the special creations.

Nice Bar, mediocre cocktails. I've been here 2 times and the quality changes with the staff. One evening three lady's made super nice drinks, but today the bartender did not make a good whisky sour. Maybe next time.

I don’t write many reviews but the service I got here the two times I visited was above top quality. Yes the place can be loud (I really enjoyed the bumping tunes), busy at times (made new friends) and smokey (I smoke so don’t care), it was top notch. Great cocktails and even better service. I felt welcomed and taken care of at every point. If I lived here this would be my jam. Will visit again.

We found this gem while looking for somewhere to chill and was not disappointed. Was more of a modern type bar with the furniture, low lighting and the vibe in general. They made the drinks really strong thats always a good thing :) . Id recommend this place to friends. This place is small and does get crowded however, the staff had no problem sitting us in an area that had been prior reserved with no issues. The staff is friendly :)

My brother Antonio and I stop in this place a few times a year when we are in Frankfurt. This place feels like my hometown bar. The owner feels like your friend and the staff are amazing. Can’t wait to stop in this year.

You want meat market? We got that. You want hipsters serving slightly overpriced drinks? We got that. You want to feel a little claustrophobic? Done. Wash your hands after toilet and realize that you're staring into the ladies/gents room on the other side? Amazing and we got that. Don't mind music being too loud to even communicate? Yes, we got that too. Smoking is allowed and heavily practiced inside. All in all, this is a bar. A real, German, pick-me-up-a-mate bar. With real German water-costs-more-than-beer designated driver nightmares. Go there. Look for me.

I’ve been living in Germany for 1.5 years and 2 cities. Have to tell the service here for a busy Saturday night has been one of the best. Drink are drink like anywhere else but you see people hanging out here are not stiff....makes it easier to mingle. Only, down side is smoking is allowed inside but the exhaust system is great. Gonna be my jam in FRA. See ya guys around!

Read a lot of great reviews about this bar. It has been around for more than 50 years. Seems like it’s an opened space for musicians, debaters, political discussion etc. However, when we were there there was no special event so it was quiet. My suggestion is to check of there is any event in advance if you want to get some spirit of the place.

Club Voltaire is bar / club only(?) with occasional snacks & coffee with very reasonable rentable rooms above. Definitely fits the term quirky, but I like it. Range of beers and Apfelwein, DJ evenings most evenings, normally opens at 18:00, very pleasant and personable owner. We have only been there for hiring the top room for Dungeons & Dragons themed RPG events, as there's so few places that are available to do tabletop events that aren't totally packed out (like Playce). Also appears to be popular as a Club / Disco.

Club Voltaire: a unique and irreplaceable bar and restaurant which simultaneously functions as a cultural center, offering performances, films, lectures, discussions, planning sessions, and exhibitions. I make sure to visit it every time I'm in town. Because it aims at critically enriching Frankfurt, it stands out in its neighborhood, where making money or looking pretty are usually the only reasons for an establishment to exist. It has been around for over 50 years; let's hope that it lasts for many more.

Wonderful place. Cozy, good service. Just try to avoid the days of old fashion political debates that lead nowhere and youll be OK.
