Kebab shop
Fast food restaurant
Nestled next to the St. Laurenz Church in Schottenfeld, Berliner Döner is a delightful little snack bar that feels like a slice of heaven for food lovers. This bustling spot, though compact at just ten square meters, boasts an efficient team of four or five staff members who work seamlessly together to serve up delicious Turkish doner kebabs and Arabic falafels. Open late into the night, it attracts a diverse crowd, particularly popular among German students.
Very tasty, loved it. I had the mixed meat option and it was perfect, not “heavy” flavored just right Also the prices seemed fair. It is a good changed from the traditional food you can find in Vienna 😄
M. T — Google review
It tasted good, but not like a Berlin döner! Sandwich bread was all wrong, and there was some crazy thousand Island type dressing and no garlic sauce. Line moved fast, and there are a few outside tables if you are not taking it to go. Big sandwich for a regular size. Nice service.
Starasia S — Google review
The food is decent – however, your order will almost definitely be wrong. And if you try and correct them, they will argue with you and tell you it's all the same. We will never go here again – plenty of other perfectly acceptable – and enjoyable – kebab experiences in the area!
Benjamin J — Google review
I came here after arriving late in town. Great food, great value and served up with great hospitality. It was the perfect thing after a long train ride when nothing else was open and I was hungry thank you for taking care of me
I M — Google review
Great kebabs run by fantastic people make Berliner Doner a top spot to stop. Eat here, it’s excellent.
David P — Google review
Fantastic döner spot! Delicious taste, generous portions, and unbeatable prices. The service is quick and friendly — a real gem for a satisfying meal.
Hasan C — Google review
Food was amazing, tasty and fresh, except the salad, which wasn't that crispy as I expected; waiter was really nice and friendly. The interior looked poor according to my view, but it is not so important when dishes are great )))
Petrica G — Google review
I go there everytime I visit Vienna. Its the best place to eat döner, especially for us - Balkan people.

Doner kebab restaurant
Restaurant
Turkish restaurant
FERHAT DÖNER is a casual Turkish eatery in Vienna that specializes in serving up traditional Turkish fare, including döner kebab, falafel, and sandwiches. The owner, Ferhat Yildirim, is dedicated to elevating the doner kebab experience by focusing on high-quality beef and bread without masking flavors with excessive sauces. The meat is sourced from a local farmer in Steiermark and cooked over charcoal for an exceptional taste.
Incredible quality Döner, definitely worth it. They bake their own bread inHouse, you can tell and taste all ingredients are of the highest quality. The Ayran is homemade and real good, too. Waited in line for +/- 10mins, not too bad. It is telling that there are other, deserted kebab places charging less than half right outside, it's all about the quality. Prices are high, but it's an experience and just real, real good. 💯
David R — Google review
Yes, there is a line but is it worth it? The lamb is the star of the show: flavorful, juicy, and tender. The other ingredients aren't as enjoyable. The dürüm wrap was cold when served to me and the yoghurt sauce was very basic and lacked the taste of fresh herbs. I did like their spicy sauce that can be added on. It added some needed depth of flavor. While waiting a hot tea was served to us which showed they actually care about their customers. There was ample space to sit in the back even with the amount of people ordering. Be ready with your order when you reach the front of the queue. For first timers I would recommend the medium size either with the bread roll or the wrap but expect them to be cold. I'd say Ferhat is worth it for one time but don't waste your whole visit to Vienna waiting for it.
Sean C — Google review
💯💯 Absolutely delicious — a real taste of authentic Turkish döner! Long queue but it worths. just like back home. Highly recommend to anyone craving genuine Turkish food.
Mrs. A — Google review
It seems that ingredients are of a high quality and fresh, but the generally it wasn’t tasty. We took durum and falafel. In the first one they put too much onion. The second one was difficult to eat, because always something was dropping from the sandwich. Unfortunately the falafel wasn’t tasty also, although it was fresh, just fried. And the was too much onion. The line was about 15-20 min.
Татьяна А — Google review
I ordered the Falafel sandwich and fries. The sandwich was ice cold and I found blue rubber or plastic inside the Falafel and the fries were underwelming. For 4 people to eat it cost us €50,- 2 out of 4 liked their döner taste wise, except for the fact that it arrived cold at our table and the third didn't like it for the same reasons and added that they could smell the blood on the meat. The place was nice, but better döner exists.
A F — Google review
Must try this experience. The stuff is very good and fast, so the row goes quickly. Thank you so much for the tea!!!! They even make their own labneh! Goes sooo well with doner. All recommendations!
Luna I — Google review
Definitely a must try if you’re in Vienna. Best döner around for sure!! Get both a wrap and a sandwich! It seems most people get the sandwich but honestly both are delicious. The value for food is insane! We ordered about €50 worth of food, and it was a LOT! There are plenty of places to sit, but I would say if you are hungry come early/before lunch as the line gets long! However it moves decently fast. Everything is homemade which I think adds to the food being so good. Would definitely say this place is a must go when you’re in Vienna!!
Kindred L — Google review
The kebab quality is above average. The bread is homemade, and the meat is not too fatty. The staff is efficient and friendly. Prices may be slightly higher than at a regular kebab place, but the quality makes it worth it. The line can be long at times, but it moves quickly.

Takeout Restaurant
Restaurant
Pita Box Falafel & Kebap is a popular spot in Vienna known for its delicious vegan kebabs. The owner's interview on Biber convinced many to try it, and they were not disappointed. Despite the occasional long queue, the quick service and amazing flavors make it worth the wait. The vegan kebab, made with seitan, is considered by some as the best they've ever had.
The best vegan Döner I have had yet! So fresh and the hummus flavours elevated it to next level! I had a combo of mango hummus and curry hummus and had it on pita. I will be back!!!!
Brian L — Google review
Amazing Vegan Kebab! 🤩 We came across this spot and are so pleased we did. Authentic Kebab made from Seitan with hummus and veggies. Seasoned to taste by friendly staff. Fairly priced... we came for seconds the next day. Highly recommended 👌
Frank L — Google review
Very clean, very friendly, very good, very quick. I don't usually rate fast food restaurants, but this one impressed me to break that tradition. You walk in and the place is clean, bright with good looking ingredients. A very nice man greeted us and took our order. The food tasted good, and the vegetables in the sandwich were fresh.
Robert C — Google review
I was looking for something healthy and filling for a quick lunch before heading to the museum, and Pita BOX checked all the boxes. Actually, they exceeded my expectations. It was super fresh and clean and the falafel wrap was huge especially for the good price! Also, shout out to the young gentleman who gave me tips on the sauces and types of hummus and flavor combinations. He made an excellent wrap. I also appreciate how when he stepped out and came back - he washed his hands, prioritizing safe handling of food for customers. Unfortunately, I've been to other restaurants where they don't. I highly recommend coming here for your next meal! 10/10
Yalda M — Google review
I ate an excellent chicken kebab with a spicy mango sauce. They have several sauces. The kebab is not only delicious but also quite filling. Service is friendly and prices are affordable.
Teddy A — Google review
We found this place based on Google reviews and even took out cash as it doesn't accept cards. The staff was really nice, but that's as far as I understand what the good reviews are for. I'm sorry to say that but the kebap itself was disappointing. The sandwich was super dry while my friends' wraps didn't hold together at all. We really had to look for the hummus there so we couldn't recognize its flavour - having the wide option of hummus types therefore lost its point. On top of that, falafel was weirdly saur and the wraps chewy. There's still a chance that this all was because we came quite late in the evening but still not a valid reason to serve food like this.
Aneta M — Google review
Awesome food both in quality and taste! We went almost every day with our kids. Very helpful staff, clean place and variety of choices. The best kebab/gyros and falafel we have tried in a long time!
Evangelia K — Google review
always friendly staff and the food is just amazing. There are 6 kinds of humus and excellent salads to make your own combo. Still trying to find something I don't like at this place:)

If you're a fan of juicy steak kebabs from a charcoal grill, then Diwan Holzkohlengrill 1060 MaHü is the place for you. This spot stands out by grilling with real charcoal, setting it apart from many others in Vienna. With over 25 years of experience, they serve up delicious kebabs every day of the year. Customers rave about the outstanding food at great prices and consider it the best kebab in town.
It’s undoubtedly one of the best Kebap I have eaten! I ordered the Spar Menü which kost me €9,90 which I think is okay for the food. Highly recommended!
Clayton G — Google review
Very good value for money. Small STEAK KEBAP with rice is a big plate! With humus, yoghurt, tomatoes, lettuce, red cabbage. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a quick and friendly service. Highly recommend this place for excellent food and coffee. Bread is baked on the premises, oven visible from where the order is made! These guys cook well. 🥰
Nela S — Google review
Great food and the soup is my favourite :)
Wemimo O — Google review
I ordered Durum classic with chicken. That was the most disgusting kebab I’ve ever eaten 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Meat was overly salty and burned. The pita was almost raw. And the person who cooked didn’t wash his hands before cooking 🤢🤢🤢🤢 For overall quality it is overpriced. Would not recommend this place if you truly live durum kebab.
Tomi — Google review
The owner explained the menu to us since we don’t speak German. We shared a beef wrap and it was sooo very good! We would definitely eat here again!
Silly S — Google review
Best dürüm, best service in town!
Hasan C — Google review
A really really good falafel and hummus. The service was good and the staff were really nice and accommodating.
Inja F — Google review
Excellent. Not only do they deliver outstanding food for a great price, but also this is by far the best kebab in town. It’s the only place I know that serves steak made on a charcoal grill in Vienna — and uses only the best meat to do so. Also the bread is fresh made, making for a delight on the taste buds. If you ever wanted to try what a kebab is like, this is your spot to go to. Service is nice and friendly, everything is fresh made.

Located in Operngasse, Vienna, Kebabhaus holds a special place among the top kebab restaurants in the city. Established in 1987, it is renowned as the oldest kebab restaurant in Vienna and is credited to Yasar Sarikoc, considered the father of Austrian kebabs. The restaurant offers delicious kebabs and baklava at reasonable prices with friendly service. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes visitors feel at home.
Absolutely delicious, you are really paying for quality here. Top döner, the bread was incredible. One of the best kebabs I've ever had, let alone in Austria.
Daniel L — Google review
Everything was mediocre, honestly. The food is substandard, kebap wrap had much more salad than chicken. The place is nice and warm, though
Mouayad A — Google review
Interesting that Google review of this place is only 3.9. We had really good döner here and think it deserves a five star. The service is good too.
Byaww G — Google review

Kristina L — Google review
I don't understand how this restaurant has such a low rating. I eat almost daily here for lunch and I always enjoy their food. The price for lunch meals is between 7,90€ - 8,50€, the food is very good and delicious, never had an issue from it, the owners are very nice and work hard to serve everybody. I like this restaurant a lot and I recommend eating here.
Aurelian I — Google review
Good kebab on the corner. Family run and kind hearted people.
Michael G — Google review
Small family kebab house. There is a warm atmosphere. Prices are affordable. The best doner I have eaten in Vienna. Meat doner is especially good. It didn't bother my stomach like the other doner kebabs I ate.
Ömer Ö — Google review
This is quite possibly the best place to get kebabs. I went here before going to the opera, and got two kebabs for the price of €11. That is a great deal, especially in Vienna. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Vienna. You won’t regret it.

Mangalet Kebab redefines the art of kebabs by offering an exceptional variety and customization options. Customers can choose from chicken, beef, vegetarian, or mixed fillings, complemented by a wide range of bread, vegetables, and sauce options including the notably spicy Takosh Sauce. Emphasizing on the high quality of fresh ingredients delivered and prepared on-site is a top priority at Mangalet. The establishment provides an upmarket setting with comfortable seating.
Cozy little Kebap-shop hidden below the Metro Line U6. Lots of options (ranging from three different types of bread for Kebap over multiple ingredients- even some more exotic options). Tasted very good and price was decent as well. Would come again. 10/10
Phil — Google review
I don‘t understand the hype of this place; it‘s been listed as one of the best in most review websites regarding doner. But i don‘t see it. I ordered a durum and they did in a tortilla wrap??!!! We did not came for burritos. The meat was very tasteless and dry, like i was eating plastic. Also, the fries were terrible. Rock solid and super overcooked (and frozen of course).
Richard G — Google review
With all the treasure around that area (Brunenmarkt), this döner is mediocre. I took a rind sandwich and the meat was very dry. Only the top part with the vegetables and sauces was tasty, but for the rest, it was quite boring. On the other hand, the people working there are really nice, always with a smile.
Sister F — Google review
I went to have a quick bite and wanted a good durum from a place that was clean and well maintained, and I wasn't disappointed! Overall I really like the decoration, the cheerfulness of the staff and how the food looked. The kebab meat was really tasty, the species were very good, you can tell that they have premium ingredients and the portions (at least from where I come from) are huge! There's cheaper places to eat durum, people complain about price increases here in the reviews, but you won't get this quality and a good clean place to sit in those ones that are cheap. The pita sauce was one of the best ones I tried, really cream texture. Overall, I think it's very hard for you to get disappointed and they're open until late, so give it a try!

I’ve already said a lot about this place, but the falafel is absolutely uniquely incredible! Freshly fried to perfect crispiness on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. Extraordinarily well spiced to give it a unique flavor. Best and most tasty I’ve had in my life (and I live at Naschmarkt!).

Afiyet - Premium Kebap & Veggie offers a selection of premium kebap options made with top-quality veal or chicken. Their menu includes a variety of choices such as homemade flatbread or durum bread with meat or falafel, homemade herb and yogurt-garlic sauce, vegetables, and salad. They also offer the Berliner-style kebap topped with sheep's cheese.
One of the best Dürüm places in whole Vienna. For its pretty cheap price it gives you big, juicy dürüm with variable toppings and sauces. There are also other options and side dishes. Like the atmosphere, pretty neat and has enough places outside. Convenient place too, right in front of U2 Aspernstraße

I Heard about this restaurant on social and i wanted to try it, like a lot of people. The taste is amazing, the homemade bread is really something special. The personal is very friendly and nice... I usually eat kebab every friday with my girlfriend, always same ingredients (or something new, like pomegranate) and this time it was not so easy to digest, (for me) But yes it worth it, i recommend it

Excellent Kebap. Very friendly staff. The nice condiments. And fresh bread. Price over average.

They have the GREATEST kebap we ever had! The place is far away from the centrum, but they still make it effortlessly awesome. We had normal chicken kebap and one vegie wrap, and both were mouthwatering! If I'll ever have a chance to visit Vienna again, I'll definitely give it a go once more! The restaurant is quite small for larger groups of people, but they can fit at least 10 people in there, so it shouldn't be a problem. ;)

When it comes to indulging in the finest döner kebab in Vienna, Saloot Kebap is a name that frequently pops up. This gem stands out not just for its high-quality halal meat but also for its fresh vegetables and irresistible homemade flatbreads that are simply mouthwatering. Located on Billrothstraße, this spot has quickly gained popularity thanks to its flavorful offerings, including döner served in three sizes, as well as delicious dürüm and döner plates.
The Kebap tasted excellent, fries are crispy and nicely seasoned and it's not too expensive. Very professional service as well. Recommended!

The food was so good I forgot to take photos, as far as street food goes in Vienna they get a 4 star and the missing star is because they forgot our fries due to communication barrier.

Huseyin Tanis showcases his expertise at Kutschkermarkt in Vienna-Wahring, demonstrating the proper way to make kebabs. This establishment doesn't offer elaborate experimental cuisine; instead, they provide homemade bread, meat, salad, and sauce. And that's all you need. While it may not serve the best kebab in Vienna, it stands out for not using frozen chicken like most places do. The owner is amiable and skilled at creating a pleasant atmosphere.
After 8 years in Vienna and a lot of late night kebab stops, I do agree, this is the best kebab/döner in Vienna!
MCretle — Google review
Definitely not the best kebab in Vienna. We were three people and had to ask a couple of times for salt. In the end we all said the chicken was tasteless. However, it seems that it’s not the frozen chicken kebab you find in most places. The owner is friendly and knows how to make you feel good. They also have good selection of beer including Efes Pilsen and Mythos.

Popular foodtruck. Friendly service. There was only iceberg lettuce in the kebab sandwich. Ok for a quick & cheap bite if you happen to be in the area.

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service with a smile. We had the lamb plate and lamb dönner and it was super tasty with loads of filings. Absolutely lovely meal amd well priced.

The world champion of kebab! I highly recommend going to Kutschkermarkt. Just take stroll and at the end you need to try this mouthwatering kebab. Love it!
K C — Google review
I was about to order after standing in line for 10 minutes, and then noticed that the guy who was cooking and making kebabs was just taking money from the clients in his gloves, and then after that, he was touching food without changing gloves or at least disinfecting them.. how awful is that? 21st century and people do not know about hygiene.. they DO NOT change their gloves after touching dirty money. Do not recommend it at all.
Veronika S — Google review
I don't get the hype about this place, almost seems like bought reviews. My kebab bread was dry, almost like being from yesterday. Overall kebab taste was tasteless, one thing that seemed good was kebab meat quality and fresh vegetables. I really don't know how someone can say this is the best kebab in Vienna, I mean seriously, have you tried more than 3 kebab places in Vienna?

Really great place for breakfast, even though Quandoo cancelled my reservation after we went there already for some reason? But the coffee is great, the fireplace is cozy and the music was a 90ies / 00er mix. The food was also good and well served.

Perfect breakfast & brunch place! Quick, friendly service, good portions and tasty high-quality food. Will come again ⭐️

What a delightful find. A relaxed friendly and warm feel to this place, including a real fire. Service was prompt and helpful from the younger two staff and exceptional from the very handsome and charming older member of staff. Food was fresh and high quality . Everyone appeared to be having a positive experience and a joyful time . Highly recommended.

A really good place if you want to eat out. The overall atmosphere is really great, seating was really good. They also had really great cocktails, food and the staff was really nice. The feta with sesame was so good, I really look forward to coming here again when I return to Vienna.
Jesse V — Google review
Dinner was at Marks Restaurant. The falafel balls might be the tastiest I've ever had. The side salad was good as was the Mediterranean vegetable side. The tofu, however, was terribly salty. Also I guess it's not common here but it would be nice if the rice was brown instead of white and the couscous whole wheat. We think they taste better and are definitely healthier. There is both Austrian and Czech draft beer and many wines on the menu.
Gary B — Google review
We came here by chance because the place we wanted to go to did not offer breakfast/brunch menu at that time. The service was really friendly and the food was great. The portion was also filling. I ordered the Nordic breakfast and it was great. My only (petty) comment is that the salad had no dressing so it tasted bland. But the rest of the assortments were tasty. My boyfriend ordered the Deli breakfast and it was flavourful. The place was spacious and we liked the hanging plants but it might feel a bit "empty" because the white walls and ceiling making it feel extra spacious. Maybe a darker ceilling or a statement wall (dark green?) could make it feel more cosy and would suit the colour-block concept. Overall, glad that we stumbled upon this place.
Merindha S — Google review
I was just browsing on Google maps and saw the name of this place - just from the name I had an entirely different idea of the place (just shows you how your own thoughts influence things) but wow, so glad I found it! It is a very sophisticated place without anything pretentious about it. So many amazing vegan options - I ended up ordering the Wok Gemüse with crispy Tofu, amazing! Super crispy tofu, amount of sauce was perfect and the veggies were very well prepared! For dessert I had the hazelnut (hasselnuss) cake - also delicious! A very big portion enough for two people. The consistency of the cake is almost like a normal cake with ice cream cake mousse layers between. My friend has the Wiener Schnitzel and said it was a good one! The sweet potato fries were also a perfect ratio of crunchy and soft inside. Highly recommend this place!
Mariette S — Google review
This place is phenomenal. From the cheap prices, bumping at most here, quick and KIND service - you need to eat here. Breakfast all day too. One of the employees who I wouldn’t be surprised if is the owner even went so far as to print my boarding pass for me as my air bnb had no printer. I can’t recommend this place more. It’s delicious. Featured meals are the goat cheese scrambled eggs, the hangover breakfast, the couscous bowl and iced and hot cappuccinos.

Turkish restaurant
Kent Restaurant is a Turkish eatery in Vienna that offers a wide range of Turkish specialties from breakfast onwards. The restaurant features a conservatory area and a spacious garden for dining. Despite being budget-friendly, Kent does not compromise on quality. It is renowned for serving the finest kebabs in the city, catering to both meat enthusiasts and vegetarians with various options. One of its popular dishes, the doner kebab sandwich, stands out for its exceptional taste and generous portions at an affordable price.
A true oasis, or rather a real institution, in the middle of the now far too hip Brunnenmarkt district. No pallet furniture, no 3rd Wave coffee - simply good, also vegetarian food and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (try the Turkish red wine!) until late at night in a pleasant atmosphere with great, attentive service, in the large inner courtyard in summer, in the winter garden or brick vault. Alone or with friends, an absolute recommendation!
Charles M — Google review
I love their inner garden / backyard during summer because it’s such a chill and great atmosphere. They do brunch on sundays which is good food for a decent price. Unfortunately when I came back to pick a Döner Sandwich for take away I was a bit disappointed. 6.90€ give you a tasteless spongy bread, tasteless white sauce and tasteless meat.
Rebecca S — Google review
Excellent quality Turkish food, probably one of the best outside of Turkey. Waiters were a bit slow and were distracted watching a football match. Whenever there's Turkish football games on, part of the restaurant turns into a game hall and gets very noisy. There's a prayer room which is a one plus.
Yahya Z — Google review
Perhaps due to the central location of the restaurant, but I think that the price is high compared to the food. The food is nice and all, but it may be overpriced in my opinion. Overall satisfactory experience. The restaurant itself is located right next to the Brunnenmarkt, so you get additional experience from shopping around in the streets, where there are more than a few Turkish, Arab and Asian shops around.
Jelilat K — Google review
The place is clean and spacious. It has a unique style. Waiters are friendly, polite and helpful. Prices are a bit expensive in comparison with the taste of the dishes. The restaurant is located in a nice area. Five minutes walking distance from the metro station. It is a family friendly restaurant. Not among the places I would love to visit again.
Wael I — Google review
Gorgeous garden, decent food. Many dishes are premade and sometimes are served lukewarm, grilled dishes can be dry. Nevertheless, It's the perfect place for a dinner on a hot Vienna evening. The service can sometimes be hit and miss, really depends on the waiters and their mood. Without the garden it wouldn't be worth a visit but it's such a lovely hidden oasis that it makes up for all little shortfalls.
Dan K — Google review
Since I heard from a number of people this Turkish restaurant was amazing and considering many Turkish people live in Vienna, I was expecting a lot more.....and so even though the food and service were passable, I was a little disappointed 😔 none of the abundance of delicious Turkish bread and salad that come in good Turkish restaurants, rack of lamb was over cooked and oily and vegetable stew was tasteless......maybe it wasn’t a good day and might come back to try other dishes....🤔
Akira S — Google review
Tried the breakfast menue, which is a bit small. The bread was stale but some of the dishes was okay, nothing bad, but not wow either. Th tea was good and the staff was nice. And the juices was very artificial tasting.

By sheer chance, we found ourselves at this hidden gem, and it turned out to be an unexpected culinary delight. I must say, they serve the best wet burgers I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. It's clear that they take great care in sourcing top-quality ingredients and crafting their dishes with an artful touch. What truly sets this place apart, besides their mouthwatering burgers, are the incredible sauces that accompany them. Each sauce is a masterpiece in its own right, enhancing the flavors to perfection. It's not just a meal; it's a flavorful journey. Moreover, the impeccable service we received made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge about the menu were impressive, ensuring that we felt right at home. This place has left a lasting impression on us, and we've already made plans to return soon. If you're seeking a gastronomic adventure filled with outstanding flavors and warm hospitality, this is undoubtedly the place to be. I can't recommend it enough, and I eagerly anticipate our next visit to savor those incredible wet burgers again.

As a huge “Döner fan” i can say that this place has one of the best döner you can eat in Vienna (maybe even whole Austria). They are offering different bread, toppings, sauces compared to the other places in Vienna. Super service, nice employees, fresh and clean restaurant! Shortly to say - It is a must to try the Döner here at least once!
Niko A — Google review
I am conflicted about this place. My expectations were set quite high due to the positive reviews but I must admit I was not impressed. I went for the falafel dürum and although I appreciate that falafel was freshly prepared (and delicious) I was disappointed to receive only 3 falafel balls. I would argue that 4 balls are a standard for a dürum of 6.3 EUR which is rather a higher price. Overall, the dürum was not filled up to its potential and looked like a dwarf in comparison to a meaty one. Therefore I cannot give more than 3 stars. The service though was friendly and the place looked clean. Cards accepted.

For a non-Berlin Döner Kebap, this is really good. Veal meat, good bread. Don’t get the yoghurt sauce, but the cocktail. It’s a bit too sweet, but a lot better than the other one.

Arrived around 1 PM on Sunday. Busy enough to make the place feel lively, but there were still tables available so no waiting. I ordered the wheat noodles with the "duck" and was really satisfied with the dish. Loads of flavor! Lots of veggies which were perfectly cooked. Wasn't really that hungry, but finished the dish anyway because I couldn't let it go to waste. I would definitely like to go back to try more of the menu, but was in Vienna for only a day.

Saigonrollen were fresh and vibrant, perfectly wrapped rice paper filled with crisp vegetables, vermicelli, and flavorful soy protein served with their signature peanut dipping sauce. The dishes are creative and absolutely delicious. The BBQ Beefless was remarkably satisfying, with tender soy protein that packed incredible umami depth. The Deluxe Gemüse mit Ente featured beautifully seasoned plant protein alongside perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables. The freshness of ingredients was astonishing, and portions were generous. Exceptional plant-based cuisine!

An amazing place to dine. We went on a Sunday Night where it was open. It usually isn’t on weekdays. The food is fantastic and so is the personnel. Very polite, very smiley and very willing to explain everything on the menu. This restaurant is a MUST visit when visiting VIENNA. I think there is also one in the city center, but I’m rate exclusively this one. One of the best vegan restaurants I visited in Europe till now.

I’ve just been to Loving Hut, managed to catch it right before they closed and the staff were happy to accommodate me. I had spring rolls then Szechuan crispy “duck” made from seitan — the texture and flavour were so like the original dish I was almost panicked it wasn’t vegan! I went to this restaurant to buy food, but when I told the person I didn’t want to order, he said he only accepts cash and doesn’t take card payments. I had to go withdraw cash, which was inconvenient. The restaurant was extremely dirty, and I saw insects everywhere while he was preparing food. He was taking unwashed vegetables from the bag and putting them in the food. I told him I didn’t want the food, but he still took my money and told me to leave if I didn’t want it. The person was very rude, and I ended up leaving him 12 euros without taking the food. I didn’t eat the sandwich as it was in bad condition.
Muhannad K — Google review
Hi, I went there after reading the reviews and trying some authentic Egyptian food, what they claim. I ordered a platter with chicken and rice. The food portion was extremely small and they tried to cover the box by putting salad at the bottom. The rice were so hard as if they weeks old and he made them even more harder by baking/warming them up. Totally bland chicken which was burned as well. Upon all of that he took 15 EUR for it which was not worth this food at all. Horrible experience. I don't know who writes reviews for them may be they write themselves. I get way better and big portions in Munich with as less price as 13 EUR. I would recommend people to try any other Turkish doner shop but not this. Horrible experience.

Had a Kebab there and quickly sat down to eat it. Service was Okay, the restaurant overall looked nice. The chicken meat was great, however the Kebab overall tasted unseasoned. Tasted more like a grilled chicken Sandwich than a kebab. Also for 5.5€ I think there is better kebabs around & in Vienna. The rest of the menu could however still be promising

Very unfriendly, and they charge more than the price on the menu – even if you go there regularly. Go to Kent on the opposite side of the street instead; the quality is much better, and you won’t get scammed. Never again!

We initially went to the small Nar Restaurant beside the tram after seeing the halal sign. The guy here knew little English but was still very good and friendly in his service and helped us with directions. We came back later in the evening and after asking for the toilets we realised this is a chain restaurant with another restaurant around the corner so he let us go there instead.

I was passing by and from the corner of my eye, I noticed the succulent, freshly selfmade Kebap. I'm a chef myself, so I immediately recognised that this was made with love and passion. I was greeted friendly by an enthusiastic cook and we had a nice chat about quality food while I took in the other impressions of the restaurant: Fresh veggies, prepared with care Creamy Yoghurt sauce, lightly seasoned Fresh baked, selfmade bread Well balanced interior decor creating a nice atmosphere. I took my veal kebab sandwich, extra spicy as I love, to go and set down at a nearby bench beneath some trees to enjoy what I supposed would be an excellent culinary experience. And I was not disappointed! From the first to the last bite, the bread crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, well balanced amount of veggies supporting the intense taste of steak quality veal, that has been masterly seasoned and prepared. I will definitely come again and recommend it to my friends and family! Thanks to Nar Restaurant Team for the effort, love and passion you put into your work. 🙏🏻💜

Definitely not my favourite kebab place.. This was my first and one time takeaway.. Kebab got served cold because they left it for over 10 minutes on the counter because the fries weren’t ready. The meat tasted tough and very salty. The vegetables inside the kebab were very less not fresh. The tomato had mold! on it (it was the upper part). The fries were not fried in the right temperature, in which the fries were very greasy and soft. For these fries I payed 4 euros.. Conclusion? Bad food, bad service and definitely overpriced..

Le Döner is a must-visit spot for kebab lovers in Vienna, where the name says it all. This charming eatery specializes in serving up mouthwatering döner that will leave you craving more. The meat is perfectly cooked, boasting a crispy exterior while remaining tender and juicy inside. Each dish comes with freshly baked bread and a delightful mix of salads topped off with delicious sauces.
The best kebab I’ve had in a while. The meat was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, nicely mixed salads and delicious sauce. Freshly made bread. The staff was very friendly. The location however, is somewhat inconvenient and they don’t have seating options. If you like your kebab hot fresh, you’ll need to eat it on the go or get one of the publicly available chairs nearby in that street. However, you might not have much luck on a Saturday afternoon, since this street seems to be packed with people from families to youth to elderly and so forth. Also, the area is not the cleanest place in Vienna. Nonetheless that doesn’t reduce the quality of this kebab place - but don’t expect an awesome atmosphere or ambiance. Just go for the food.

With five locations in Vienna and four others in Graz, Berlin, and Bern, Swing Kitchen's concept of accessible and quick vegan cuisine has been well-received.
Absolutely loved this vegan burger spot! The food was flavorful and satisfying — especially the chicken nuggets, which tasted unbelievably real. The burgers were juicy and well-seasoned. The service was warm, friendly, and made the experience even better. Plus, the soda fountain had an amazing variety of drinks. Great vibes, great food — highly recommend! For vegans, non vegans and halal eaters.

changed menu, no old good vienna burger, different Pommes Frites (sliced fatty potato) New menu, even with Schnitzel instead of Patty has different taste. Pommes is thin chips, too fatty. Pitty, what happened with on of best vegan burger. now with some strange bacon taste, even if there is no bacon in it. Bread is also different, more plastic taste, like cheap white bread. Time to search for alternatives. No more swing burger. First time ever we could not eat it. Half of it left. Pitty. We ordered combo (burger with Pommes and cola), as usual. Big disappoinment What happened with best vegan burger in Europe? We used to be "Stammgast" here, since they opened their first local, I think it was in 1070, close to Zieglergasse subway station. Now some 10, 12 years ago it is gone with wind. Because of stakeholders? higher margin?

So good and so filling! Went for a vegan bacon burger with coleslaw and it was great. Coleslaw portions are quite large though so I couldn't finish it all, perhaps order just one to share if you have a companion. The place is also quite small, nothing mindblowing but cute nonetheless. Vegan restaurants are always very much appreciated!

We’re suckers for a good vegan burger, and Swing Kitchen certainly satisfies that craving, and more! We’ve eaten here at least once every time we came to Vienna over the last 6 years and the burgers have been consistently excellent! Highly recommend.

I had the truffle mayo burger and really good for a vegan burger! Love the concept that u can get unlimited drinks. In the end it’s fast food but would rather go here than McDonalds.
Flora F — Google review
Maybe the worst burger I’ve ever had in my life. I honestly regret giving it to my children. The taste was worse than McDonald’s, and the quality of the meat was extremely poor. I was supposed to be eating beef, but I have no idea what kind of burger that really was — the quality was terrible, and I ended up with stomach pain afterward. My daughter’s burger even came burned. I honestly don’t understand why the ratings here are so high.

Grocery store
Viktor Adler Markt is a bustling and colorful market located in the heart of Favoriten, Vienna. It features over 70 stands offering regional products from Austrian farms as well as Eastern Mediterranean, oriental, and Indian specialties. The market is known for its affordable prices and operates daily from Monday to Saturday. Unlike some other Viennese markets, Viktor Adler Markt caters more to locals than tourists, creating a vibrant atmosphere with reasonable prices.
Nice place for grocery shopping. They sell fresh vegetables and fruits early in the morning so you can grab some on your way home or work.

Wonderful experience to see, smell, and witness local culture. The vendors offer such a wide array of produce, sundries, and baked treats. Ideal spot to sit back and enjoy the parade of humanity. Highly recommend this “off the beaten track” oasis.
Lexi P — Google review
Located at the end of a major pedestrian zone in an immigrant and worker district, this market is less "touristy" than some of the other Viennese markets, catering more to the locals, which helps keep most prices reasonable. I live more or less around the corner, and am often drawn there, since besides the fixed year-round stalls, there are smaller markets in side-streets, and a host of inexpensive shops, yet still within a few meters of all the standard stores found in a major pedestrian zone. The U1 tube line, as well the tram lines 6 and 11, as well as the A14 busses will get you there.

Absolutely! It's highly recommended! It's surprising that such an excellent restaurant doesn't have more perfect reviews. We've visited twice and tried the Adana with rice, köfte portion, and iskender kebab, all of which were really delicious. The Adana was suitably spicy, just as it should be. Although the islander was a bit oilier than usual, it was still very tasty. The staff were friendly, although perhaps they could work on their professionalism as they seem more like a restaurant than just a fast food joint. Overall, though, we think they're doing a great job.
Anahita S — Google review
Döner portions are big and tasty. Ayran is also good. Price of the portion was around 16 euro which is a bit high. Service is not the best because you need to go and take your own fork knife and food. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

The eatery, Döner'ci, allows owners to modify their business information, incorporate images, interact with customer feedback, and undertake various other profile updates. Situated at Quellenstrasse 171 in Wien, Austria, the establishment commences operations at 10:00 AM. If one possesses a penchant for fried chicken dishes, this place is worth giving a shot. The poultry is impeccably prepared and seamlessly compliments the accompanying salad dressing.
The establishment offers exceptional halal cuisine and commendable service. I recently enjoyed brunch there with my family, and the owner's hospitality was particularly noteworthy.

Went there 1 hr before closing. Grilled chicken was too much salty and dry. Will not recommend it. It wasn't the last chicken. They had about 10 chickens left so probably rest of them were same as well.

They twice tried to give me less change money. I was several times there and twice they tried to give me less change back! Kebap is good but watch the money you give in the evening hours. They try to keep more at late ours. I just go the to kebap place on the opisite site because they never tried that on me. Also the schnitzel ci (is the same company) never tried to keep more. Only kebap ci. Places like that should not exist or should employee more trustworthy people! Kebap and grilled chicken i recommend. Staff here i absolutly don't recomment. In total I don't recomment going there because they cheat on the change money! Answer for owner: I know your schnitzel ci because it is on the opposite side of the street. The staff there was always very friendly and gave me exactly what i wanted. Somehow in the döner ci it is not like that. The food is good but as described i had twice a bad experience with the staff and my wrong change there. Maybe you can inform your staff that they are more carefull with money and change :) Will give you one more star because you answered and care about your business. If i go some other times there and wrong change will not happen again i will also raise my review.

The menu features vegan kebap along with a variety of dishes like moussaka, cigkofte, and dolma. Visitors praise the amazing food and service, describing it as one of the best meals they've ever had. The restaurant is known for its family recipes that are all vegan-friendly and made with love.
This is a great place to eat vegan/vegetarian food. Everything is tasty and freshly made in front of your eyes. The falafel here are the best ones I’ve ever tried, so juicy inside and crunchy outside!! The only downsides are the small place ( the tables are too close and small) and the price, which is high, maybe too high or maybe it’s justifiable because of the high quality of food.
Sofia — Google review
A good Happy Cow suggestion here in Vienna, Austria. Small street front restaurant with a nice character and friendly service. We tried the jackfruit pizza along with a fava bean puree humus salad topped with pomegranate, fresh greens, and warm pita bread. Notable was the mangolassi which served freshly made. All items vegan. Cost was very reasonable for a well prepared meal.
Tun A — Google review
We chose this restaurant for dinner and ordered the lentil soup, falafel, and babaganoush. The portions are big, flavors were pleasant, and everything tasted good. However, I felt that the food lacked a certain energy and vibrancy, which I’m particularly sensitive to. I can pick up on these subtle aspects, and I felt the same about the restaurant itself — as if the space could use a bit more light and liveliness to enhance the atmosphere. Overall, it was a decent experience, but adding more energy to both the food and ambiance would make it even better. Thank you🙏

I have seldomly encountered such low-energetic service and pale palette of taste for food and atmosphere. By far the best (funny) is the miniature Mona Lisa portrait in a cheap family kind of frame, drilled to the wall with a fat screw, hilarious! Other than that, such randomly interior, wall paintings and knick-knacks, but basically junk.

We were looking for a quick meal after a long day and Nino’s did not disappoint. The older gentlemen serving us was lovely - funny, upbeat and did his best to help us in English. The place is tiny - seating was limited and it was quite warm. We took our food to go and it was delicious!

Lately, I’ve been pretty upset with the high review Kebap places. One of them was Nino. I’ve found a highly rated Kebap place with 4.7 stars in the center of Wien. I was hungry and excited to try such a highly rated place but my excitement was quickly destroyed. I’d be honest, the person who was making kebab was friendly you don’t usually meet such a nice people. However, kebab quality was not the best one for such a rating, and meat was not the freshest one. It was literally uncooked/raw. After eating my gf and I had a stomach pain until the end of the day. If you decide to give Nino a chance then go ahead, but if you see them cutting you uncooked meat please don’t be shy and tell them to cook it for longer. Lastly, do not fall for a high rating of this place!

(Translated by Google) and yet another new takeover. Unfortunately, a few dishes were removed from the menu and others were added. Since I almost always eat pizza anyway, that's not a big deal. Beer selection as usual, I think. Kitchen open until 9pm and open until 11pm on Saturdays, which is actually quite long for the area. Beforehand we were in Mödling city center where everyone had already cleaned up and so we got something here at 8:30 p.m. The P*R parking lot in front of the door is great and is free from 6 p.m. I have to mention this because everyone always complains about cars. The restaurant is located at the train station but at some point later in the evening the trains no longer stop here. I don't think the bus runs here either. So then car or taxi. So then enjoy the car and pizza and burgers during your time off.

Kabul Kebap has quickly become a beloved spot in Vienna, particularly in the Favoriten district, where locals rave about its delicious offerings. This eatery specializes in mouthwatering chicken and lamb doner kebabs at incredibly affordable prices—just €2.50 for chicken and €3 for lamb. The portions may be slightly smaller, but they are perfectly manageable thanks to the freshly baked bread that adds a delightful touch to each bite.
Had their Doner. Best ever I had. It was spicy and was just so good
Bello N — Google review
This is by far the cheapest kebab I found in Wien. For only 2.50€, you can get chicken kebab with either yoghurt or pepsi. The portion is big, too. Enough to fill your stomach.
Rangga N — Google review
Good doner, pretty good doner box, Great Schnitzel! It's halal and has Pizzas on offer too. Very affordable, Service is fast but I don't know why, the food seems to get cold very fast, makes the meat less enjoyable. The Schnitzel however was hot and very delicious. Will definitely go again before leaving Vienna.

Amazing chicken shuwarma for €1.99 with Ayran or Pepsi. A perfect bite for on the go. The bread used is freshly baked, fluffy n real tasty. زنده باد بچها وطن من

Shawarma and the price was very good But people working there are dirty the chef handle the money and the bread at the same time without washing thier hands Please covid is still there so wash your hand and don’t handle the bread without gloves Thank you

If you find yourself near Meidlinger Bahnhof, make sure to stop by Narin Kebab, a hidden gem among the many döner spots in the area. This cozy eatery is known for its delicious kebabs that come with an option for extra spice—think whole chili peppers instead of just flakes! The owners are incredibly friendly and always eager to serve up their tasty offerings. Diners rave about the fresh, crispy bread and juicy meat that make each bite a delight.

(Translated by Google) The kebab was delicious, the bread fresh and crispy, and the meat juicy. It's a small drawback, though, because for 5 euros, it could have been bigger. (Translated by Google) Based on the positive reviews, I was tempted to try the Narin Kebab. I wanted to try the place back in December, but my train departure from Meidling station was too early, so I had to postpone my attempt until February. I tried a kebab there for 3.50, and Pepsi was included, no questions asked. It was great! Kebab: I agree with the positive reviews. Everything was perfect; I'd go back. The guy seems really nice. If you're on the hunt for a delicious kebab experience, look no further than Onkels Kebab in Simmering. This hidden gem has garnered rave reviews for its mouthwatering chicken kebabs, which are always fresh and bursting with flavor. The homemade bread is fluffy and warm, perfectly complementing the crispy and tender meat. With a clean salad bar offering simple yet satisfying toppings like salad, sauce, and red cabbage, you can enjoy a classic kebab without any unnecessary frills.
(Translated by Google) Childhood kebab, by far the best in the Enkplatz area if even in the whole of Simmering. The meat is always nice and crispy and tender, and the home-baked bread is fluffy and warm. Salad bar always nice and clean. A classic, good kebab without a lot of frills, simply salad, sauce and red cabbage is ready. The skewers are always nicely seasoned and the pizzas are also quite good. The prices are top for today's standards. My highlight: the homemade hot sauce (Original) Kindheitsdöner, mit Abstand der beste in der Umgebung Enkplatz wenn sogar in ganz Simmering. If you find yourself in Austria during the Christmas season, keep an eye out for the Maroni Stand Favoritenstraße. This stand offers a delightful treat of roasted chestnuts, a popular snack that's not too sweet and can be found throughout the city and at various markets. Visitors have raved about their experience at this stand, praising the freshly roasted chestnuts for their crispy exterior and soft interior. The friendly staff prioritize quality and offer a varied selection including fried potatoes and langos.

(Translated by Google) I recently visited a chestnut stand and was amazed. The freshly roasted chestnuts were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The friendly staff attached great importance to quality. In addition to the chestnuts, there were also fried potatoes and langos, which made the offering varied. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. A great culinary experience that I recommend to anyone looking for a warm snack in the cold season! (Original) Ich habe kürzlich einen Maronistand besucht und war begeistert. Die frisch gerösteten Maronen waren außen knusprig und innen weich. Das freundliche Personal legte großen Wert auf Qualität.
