It tasted good, but not like a Berlin döner! Sandwich bread was all wrong, and there was some crazy thousand Island type dressing and no garlic sauce. Line moved fast, and there are a few outside tables if you are not taking it to go. Big sandwich for a regular size. Nice service.

The food is decent – however, your order will almost definitely be wrong. And if you try and correct them, they will argue with you and tell you it's all the same. We will never go here again – plenty of other perfectly acceptable – and enjoyable – kebab experiences in the area!

Yes, there is a line but is it worth it? The lamb is the star of the show: flavorful, juicy, and tender. The other ingredients aren't as enjoyable. The dürüm wrap was cold when served to me and the yoghurt sauce was very basic and lacked the taste of fresh herbs. I did like their spicy sauce that can be added on. It added some needed depth of flavor. While waiting a hot tea was served to us which showed they actually care about their customers. There was ample space to sit in the back even with the amount of people ordering. Be ready with your order when you reach the front of the queue. For first timers I would recommend the medium size either with the bread roll or the wrap but expect them to be cold. I'd say Ferhat is worth it for one time but don't waste your whole visit to Vienna waiting for it.

It seems that ingredients are of a high quality and fresh, but the generally it wasn’t tasty. We took durum and falafel. In the first one they put too much onion. The second one was difficult to eat, because always something was dropping from the sandwich. Unfortunately the falafel wasn’t tasty also, although it was fresh, just fried. And the was too much onion. The line was about 15-20 min.

I ordered the Falafel sandwich and fries. The sandwich was ice cold and I found blue rubber or plastic inside the Falafel and the fries were underwelming. For 4 people to eat it cost us €50,- 2 out of 4 liked their döner taste wise, except for the fact that it arrived cold at our table and the third didn't like it for the same reasons and added that they could smell the blood on the meat. The place was nice, but better döner exists.

Definitely a must try if you’re in Vienna. Best döner around for sure!! Get both a wrap and a sandwich! It seems most people get the sandwich but honestly both are delicious. The value for food is insane! We ordered about €50 worth of food, and it was a LOT! There are plenty of places to sit, but I would say if you are hungry come early/before lunch as the line gets long! However it moves decently fast. Everything is homemade which I think adds to the food being so good. Would definitely say this place is a must go when you’re in Vienna!!

The kebab quality is above average. The bread is homemade, and the meat is not too fatty. The staff is efficient and friendly. Prices may be slightly higher than at a regular kebab place, but the quality makes it worth it. The line can be long at times, but it moves quickly.

Very clean, very friendly, very good, very quick. I don't usually rate fast food restaurants, but this one impressed me to break that tradition. You walk in and the place is clean, bright with good looking ingredients. A very nice man greeted us and took our order. The food tasted good, and the vegetables in the sandwich were fresh.

I was looking for something healthy and filling for a quick lunch before heading to the museum, and Pita BOX checked all the boxes. Actually, they exceeded my expectations. It was super fresh and clean and the falafel wrap was huge especially for the good price! Also, shout out to the young gentleman who gave me tips on the sauces and types of hummus and flavor combinations. He made an excellent wrap. I also appreciate how when he stepped out and came back - he washed his hands, prioritizing safe handling of food for customers. Unfortunately, I've been to other restaurants where they don't. I highly recommend coming here for your next meal! 10/10

I ate an excellent chicken kebab with a spicy mango sauce. They have several sauces. The kebab is not only delicious but also quite filling. Service is friendly and prices are affordable.

We found this place based on Google reviews and even took out cash as it doesn't accept cards. The staff was really nice, but that's as far as I understand what the good reviews are for. I'm sorry to say that but the kebap itself was disappointing. The sandwich was super dry while my friends' wraps didn't hold together at all. We really had to look for the hummus there so we couldn't recognize its flavour - having the wide option of hummus types therefore lost its point. On top of that, falafel was weirdly saur and the wraps chewy. There's still a chance that this all was because we came quite late in the evening but still not a valid reason to serve food like this.

Very good value for money. Small STEAK KEBAP with rice is a big plate! With humus, yoghurt, tomatoes, lettuce, red cabbage. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a quick and friendly service. I ordered Durum classic with chicken. That was the most disgusting kebab I’ve ever eaten 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Meat was overly salty and burned. The pita was almost raw. And the person who cooked didn’t wash his hands before cooking 🤢🤢🤢🤢 For overall quality it is overpriced. Would not recommend this place if you truly live durum kebab.

The owner explained the menu to us since we don’t speak German. We shared a beef wrap and it was sooo very good! We would definitely eat here again!

Excellent. Not only do they deliver outstanding food for a great price, but also this is by far the best kebab in town. It’s the only place I know that serves steak made on a charcoal grill in Vienna — and uses only the best meat to do so. Also the bread is fresh made, making for a delight on the taste buds. If you ever wanted to try what a kebab is like, this is your spot to go to. Service is nice and friendly, everything is fresh made.

I don't understand how this restaurant has such a low rating. I eat almost daily here for lunch and I always enjoy their food. The price for lunch meals is between 7,90€ - 8,50€, the food is very good and delicious, never had an issue from it, the owners are very nice and work hard to serve everybody. I like this restaurant a lot and I recommend eating here.

This is quite possibly the best place to get kebabs. I went here before going to the opera, and got two kebabs for the price of €11. That is a great deal, especially in Vienna. I don‘t understand the hype of this place; it‘s been listed as one of the best in most review websites regarding doner. But i don‘t see it. I ordered a durum and they did in a tortilla wrap??!!! We did not came for burritos. The meat was very tasteless and dry, like i was eating plastic. Also, the fries were terrible. Rock solid and super overcooked (and frozen of course).

With all the treasure around that area (Brunenmarkt), this döner is mediocre. I took a rind sandwich and the meat was very dry. Only the top part with the vegetables and sauces was tasty, but for the rest, it was quite boring. On the other hand, the people working there are really nice, always with a smile.

I went to have a quick bite and wanted a good durum from a place that was clean and well maintained, and I wasn't disappointed! Overall I really like the decoration, the cheerfulness of the staff and how the food looked. The kebab meat was really tasty, the species were very good, you can tell that they have premium ingredients and the portions (at least from where I come from) are huge! There's cheaper places to eat durum, people complain about price increases here in the reviews, but you won't get this quality and a good clean place to sit in those ones that are cheap. The pita sauce was one of the best ones I tried, really cream texture. Overall, I think it's very hard for you to get disappointed and they're open until late, so give it a try!

I’ve already said a lot about this place, but the falafel is absolutely uniquely incredible! Freshly fried to perfect crispiness on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. Extraordinarily well spiced to give it a unique flavor. Best and most tasty I’ve had in my life (and I live at Naschmarkt!).

I Heard about this restaurant on social and i wanted to try it, like a lot of people. The taste is amazing, the homemade bread is really something special. The personal is very friendly and nice... I usually eat kebab every friday with my girlfriend, always same ingredients (or something new, like pomegranate) and this time it was not so easy to digest, (for me) But yes it worth it, i recommend it

They have the GREATEST kebap we ever had! The place is far away from the centrum, but they still make it effortlessly awesome. We had normal chicken kebap and one vegie wrap, and both were mouthwatering! If I'll ever have a chance to visit Vienna again, I'll definitely give it a go once more! The restaurant is quite small for larger groups of people, but they can fit at least 10 people in there, so it shouldn't be a problem. ;)

The food was so good I forgot to take photos, as far as street food goes in Vienna they get a 4 star and the missing star is because they forgot our fries due to communication barrier.

Definitely not the best kebab in Vienna. We were three people and had to ask a couple of times for salt. In the end we all said the chicken was tasteless. However, it seems that it’s not the frozen chicken kebab you find in most places. The owner is friendly and knows how to make you feel good. They also have good selection of beer including Efes Pilsen and Mythos.

I was about to order after standing in line for 10 minutes, and then noticed that the guy who was cooking and making kebabs was just taking money from the clients in his gloves, and then after that, he was touching food without changing gloves or at least disinfecting them.. how awful is that? 21st century and people do not know about hygiene.. they DO NOT change their gloves after touching dirty money. Do not recommend it at all.

What a delightful find. A relaxed friendly and warm feel to this place, including a real fire. Service was prompt and helpful from the younger two staff and exceptional from the very handsome and charming older member of staff. Food was fresh and high quality . Everyone appeared to be having a positive experience and a joyful time . Highly recommended.

A really good place if you want to eat out. The overall atmosphere is really great, seating was really good. They also had really great cocktails, food and the staff was really nice. The feta with sesame was so good, I really look forward to coming here again when I return to Vienna.

Dinner was at Marks Restaurant. The falafel balls might be the tastiest I've ever had. The side salad was good as was the Mediterranean vegetable side. The tofu, however, was terribly salty. Also I guess it's not common here but it would be nice if the rice was brown instead of white and the couscous whole wheat. We think they taste better and are definitely healthier. There is both Austrian and Czech draft beer and many wines on the menu.

We came here by chance because the place we wanted to go to did not offer breakfast/brunch menu at that time. The service was really friendly and the food was great. The portion was also filling. I ordered the Nordic breakfast and it was great. My only (petty) comment is that the salad had no dressing so it tasted bland. But the rest of the assortments were tasty. My boyfriend ordered the Deli breakfast and it was flavourful. The place was spacious and we liked the hanging plants but it might feel a bit "empty" because the white walls and ceiling making it feel extra spacious. Maybe a darker ceilling or a statement wall (dark green?) could make it feel more cosy and would suit the colour-block concept. Overall, glad that we stumbled upon this place.

I was just browsing on Google maps and saw the name of this place - just from the name I had an entirely different idea of the place (just shows you how your own thoughts influence things) but wow, so glad I found it! It is a very sophisticated place without anything pretentious about it. So many amazing vegan options - I ended up ordering the Wok Gemüse with crispy Tofu, amazing! Super crispy tofu, amount of sauce was perfect and the veggies were very well prepared! For dessert I had the hazelnut (hasselnuss) cake - also delicious! A very big portion enough for two people. The consistency of the cake is almost like a normal cake with ice cream cake mousse layers between. My friend has the Wiener Schnitzel and said it was a good one! The sweet potato fries were also a perfect ratio of crunchy and soft inside. Highly recommend this place!

This place is phenomenal. From the cheap prices, bumping at most here, quick and KIND service - you need to eat here. Breakfast all day too. One of the employees who I wouldn’t be surprised if is the owner even went so far as to print my boarding pass for me as my air bnb had no printer. I can’t recommend this place more. It’s delicious. Featured meals are the goat cheese scrambled eggs, the hangover breakfast, the couscous bowl and iced and hot cappuccinos.

I love their inner garden / backyard during summer because it’s such a chill and great atmosphere. They do brunch on sundays which is good food for a decent price. Unfortunately when I came back to pick a Döner Sandwich for take away I was a bit disappointed. 6.90€ give you a tasteless spongy bread, tasteless white sauce and tasteless meat.

Excellent quality Turkish food, probably one of the best outside of Turkey. Waiters were a bit slow and were distracted watching a football match. Whenever there's Turkish football games on, part of the restaurant turns into a game hall and gets very noisy. There's a prayer room which is a one plus.

Perhaps due to the central location of the restaurant, but I think that the price is high compared to the food. The food is nice and all, but it may be overpriced in my opinion. Overall satisfactory experience. The restaurant itself is located right next to the Brunnenmarkt, so you get additional experience from shopping around in the streets, where there are more than a few Turkish, Arab and Asian shops around.

The place is clean and spacious. It has a unique style. Waiters are friendly, polite and helpful. Prices are a bit expensive in comparison with the taste of the dishes. The restaurant is located in a nice area. Five minutes walking distance from the metro station. It is a family friendly restaurant. Not among the places I would love to visit again.

Gorgeous garden, decent food. Many dishes are premade and sometimes are served lukewarm, grilled dishes can be dry. Nevertheless, It's the perfect place for a dinner on a hot Vienna evening. The service can sometimes be hit and miss, really depends on the waiters and their mood. Without the garden it wouldn't be worth a visit but it's such a lovely hidden oasis that it makes up for all little shortfalls.

Since I heard from a number of people this Turkish restaurant was amazing and considering many Turkish people live in Vienna, I was expecting a lot more.....and so even though the food and service were passable, I was a little disappointed 😔 none of the abundance of delicious Turkish bread and salad that come in good Turkish restaurants, rack of lamb was over cooked and oily and vegetable stew was tasteless......maybe it wasn’t a good day and might come back to try other dishes....🤔

Tried the breakfast menue, which is a bit small. The bread was stale but some of the dishes was okay, nothing bad, but not wow either. Th tea was good and the staff was nice. And the juices was very artificial tasting.

As a huge “Döner fan” i can say that this place has one of the best döner you can eat in Vienna (maybe even whole Austria). They are offering different bread, toppings, sauces compared to the other places in Vienna. Super service, nice employees, fresh and clean restaurant! Shortly to say - It is a must to try the Döner here at least once!

I am conflicted about this place. My expectations were set quite high due to the positive reviews but I must admit I was not impressed. I went for the falafel dürum and although I appreciate that falafel was freshly prepared (and delicious) I was disappointed to receive only 3 falafel balls. I would argue that 4 balls are a standard for a dürum of 6.3 EUR which is rather a higher price. Overall, the dürum was not filled up to its potential and looked like a dwarf in comparison to a meaty one. Therefore I cannot give more than 3 stars. The service though was friendly and the place looked clean. Cards accepted.

For a non-Berlin Döner Kebap, this is really good. Veal meat, good bread. Don’t get the yoghurt sauce, but the cocktail. It’s a bit too sweet, but a lot better than the other one.

The Döner kebab is wonderful And the falafel was very tasty 😋 I love yogurt sauce. It has also cute little tables and chairs for siting on Mariahilf street. But I do not know why it is more expensive than other places🤔

If you're looking for a quick bite at a reasonable price then this is the spot. The portions were huge, it was very clean, and all of the employees were very nice. The wet hamburger I had wasn't up to par when compared to the hotdog and kebab though.

Arrived around 1 PM on Sunday. Busy enough to make the place feel lively, but there were still tables available so no waiting. I ordered the wheat noodles with the "duck" and was really satisfied with the dish. Loads of flavor! Lots of veggies which were perfectly cooked. Wasn't really that hungry, but finished the dish anyway because I couldn't let it go to waste. I would definitely like to go back to try more of the menu, but was in Vienna for only a day.

Saigonrollen were fresh and vibrant, perfectly wrapped rice paper filled with crisp vegetables, vermicelli, and flavorful soy protein served with their signature peanut dipping sauce. The dishes are creative and absolutely delicious. The BBQ Beefless was remarkably satisfying, with tender soy protein that packed incredible umami depth. The Deluxe Gemüse mit Ente featured beautifully seasoned plant protein alongside perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables. The freshness of ingredients was astonishing, and portions were generous. Exceptional plant-based cuisine!

One of the best Vegan restaurants in Vienna. Delicious food. Cozy place. Large menu with a wide variety of food to choose from: Vietnamese, mixed-Asian, European along with regular fast food items like Burgers and fries. Super-friendly and helpful staff and the owner Fillip Nguyen is the best. If you're in Vienna and/or want to explore vegan food Loving Hut is definitely recommended to check out. ♥️♥️♥️

It's a very good vegetarian restaurant! I loved their pad thai and miso soup. I loved that they have so many vegetarian options. Veggie burgers, noodles, pizza...

An amazing place to dine. We went on a Sunday Night where it was open. It usually isn’t on weekdays. The food is fantastic and so is the personnel. Very polite, very smiley and very willing to explain everything on the menu. This restaurant is a MUST visit when visiting VIENNA. I think there is also one in the city center, but I’m rate exclusively this one. One of the best vegan restaurants I visited in Europe till now.

I’ve just been to Loving Hut, managed to catch it right before they closed and the staff were happy to accommodate me. I had spring rolls then Szechuan crispy “duck” made from seitan — the texture and flavour were so like the original dish I was almost panicked it wasn’t vegan! I’m only visiting the city for 2 days, if I was local I’d be here often to sample the entire menu! Great service, lovely modern restaurant (this location only opened a few months ago) and very well priced.

I went to this restaurant to buy food, but when I told the person I didn’t want to order, he said he only accepts cash and doesn’t take card payments. I had to go withdraw cash, which was inconvenient. The restaurant was extremely dirty, and I saw insects everywhere while he was preparing food. He was taking unwashed vegetables from the bag and putting them in the food. I told him I didn’t want the food, but he still took my money and told me to leave if I didn’t want it. The person was very rude, and I ended up leaving him 12 euros without taking the food. I didn’t eat the sandwich as it was in bad condition.

Hi, I went there after reading the reviews and trying some authentic Egyptian food, what they claim. I ordered a platter with chicken and rice. The food portion was extremely small and they tried to cover the box by putting salad at the bottom. The rice were so hard as if they weeks old and he made them even more harder by baking/warming them up. Totally bland chicken which was burned as well. Upon all of that he took 15 EUR for it which was not worth this food at all. Horrible experience. I don't know who writes reviews for them may be they write themselves. I get way better and big portions in Munich with as less price as 13 EUR. I would recommend people to try any other Turkish doner shop but not this. Horrible experience.

Very nice Egyptian food, it's a bit small but the food is authentic and delicious, the staff are very nice and friendly. I come from Jordan, and I confirm this place is totally recommended. I ordered falafel, hummus and fool, my friend ordered the shawerma plate, food portions was good for the price, and they have fast service. They also make a good selection of sandwiches for the people who wants something on the move. They have many vegetarian options too.

Dönermeister is definitely worth a try. Their döner is quite good, and the taste is really enjoyable. Of course, I’ve had better ones before, but this place is still a solid choice. If you’re in the area, I recommend stopping by to give it a try.

We had a beef döner wrap, a berliner gemüse huhn döner sandwich, one portion of fries, garlic sauce, and ayran. Both sandwiches were delicious but the garlic sauce was only a bit. Sadly I didn’t get a photo with the quantity of the sauce. The ayran is the best you get on the market. Been there a couple of times and the staff was always hospitable.

Had a Kebab there and quickly sat down to eat it. Service was Okay, the restaurant overall looked nice. The chicken meat was great, however the Kebab overall tasted unseasoned. We initially went to the small Nar Restaurant beside the tram after seeing the halal sign. The guy here knew little English but was still very good and friendly in his service and helped us with directions. We came back later in the evening and after asking for the toilets we realised this is a chain restaurant with another restaurant around the corner so he let us go there instead.

I was passing by and from the corner of my eye, I noticed the succulent, freshly selfmade Kebap. I'm a chef myself, so I immediately recognised that this was made with love and passion. I was greeted friendly by an enthusiastic cook and we had a nice chat about quality food while I took in the other impressions of the restaurant: Fresh veggies, prepared with care Creamy Yoghurt sauce, lightly seasoned Fresh baked, selfmade bread Well balanced interior decor creating a nice atmosphere. I took my veal kebab sandwich, extra spicy as I love, to go and set down at a nearby bench beneath some trees to enjoy what I supposed would be an excellent culinary experience. And I was not disappointed! From the first to the last bite, the bread crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, well balanced amount of veggies supporting the intense taste of steak quality veal, that has been masterly seasoned and prepared. Definitely not my favourite kebab place.. This was my first and one time takeaway.. Kebab got served cold because they left it for over 10 minutes on the counter because the fries weren’t ready. The meat tasted tough and very salty. The vegetables inside the kebab were very less not fresh. The tomato had mold! on it (it was the upper part). The fries were not fried in the right temperature, in which the fries were very greasy and soft. For these fries I payed 4 euros.. Conclusion? Bad food, bad service and definitely overpriced..

I live more or less around the corner, and am often drawn there, since besides the fixed year-round stalls, there are smaller markets in side-streets, and a host of inexpensive shops, yet still within a few meters of all the standard stores found in a major pedestrian zone. The U1 tube line, as well the tram lines 6 and 11, as well as the A14 busses will get you there.

Absolutely! It's highly recommended! It's surprising that such an excellent restaurant doesn't have more perfect reviews. We've visited twice and tried the Adana with rice, köfte portion, and iskender kebab, all of which were really delicious. The Adana was suitably spicy, just as it should be. Although the islander was a bit oilier than usual, it was still very tasty. The staff were friendly, although perhaps they could work on their professionalism as they seem more like a restaurant than just a fast food joint. Overall, though, we think they're doing a great job.

Döner portions are big and tasty. Ayran is also good. Price of the portion was around 16 euro which is a bit high. Service is not the best because you need to go and take your own fork knife and food. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

We tried the jackfruit pizza along with a fava bean puree humus salad topped with pomegranate, fresh greens, and warm pita bread. Notable was the mangolassi which served freshly made. All items vegan. Cost was very reasonable for a well prepared meal.

By far the best (funny) is the miniature Mona Lisa portrait in a cheap family kind of frame, drilled to the wall with a fat screw, hilarious! Lately, I’ve been pretty upset with the high review Kebap places. One of them was Nino. I’ve found a highly rated Kebap place with 4.7 stars in the center of Wien. I was hungry and excited to try such a highly rated place but my excitement was quickly destroyed. I’d be honest, the person who was making kebab was friendly you don’t usually meet such a nice people. However, kebab quality was not the best one for such a rating, and meat was not the freshest one. It was literally uncooked/raw. After eating my gf and I had a stomach pain until the end of the day. If you decide to give Nino a chance then go ahead, but if you see them cutting you uncooked meat please don’t be shy and tell them to cook it for longer. Lastly, do not fall for a high rating of this place!
