Convenient spot to get some ice cream while going out. The butter cookie was delicious but a little unexpected. It had dark brown cookie pieces in it but didn’t taste like Oreo, more like coffee and butter cookies. So good I had to get another scoop

Wow. We stumbled on this place after dinner at Naschtmarkt. Their dark chocolate is easily to best we've ever had. Not too sweet and perfectly rich. I also tried their grapefruit aperol. Life-changing. Its was so refreshing and light. Flavors are dialed in. Nice work yall!! We can't wait to come back on our next visit to Vienna!

I had half scoop of raspberry and half of biscuit cream ice cream, the portion is perfect and the flavors are mouthwatering. Totally recommended for a sweet option. The staff are very welcoming and nice

One of the best ice creams I've ever had, and by far the best in Vienna. You have to try the pumpkin seed oil ice cream—it's incredible.

Today, I am going to introduce you to an amazing Italian restaurant in the first district. At the entrance, you will find delicious ice cream served by very kind workers. The second section offers a variety of cakes, such as cheesecake, tiramisu, profiteroles, honey cake, and more. After that, you will come across the coffee machine—they serve amazing coffee. I should also mention the fruit section, which they use for toppings, decoration, and fruit salads (my favorite!). In addition, they have a small kitchen where they cook authentic Italian pizza and other dishes. I really recommend this place—everything is so tasty!

I had a coffee and a slice of the Sacher Tart as it is a famous treat in Vienna. Nice cafe and fast service. Price was around d €9 for the coffee and tart. The seating area was fairly busy, but plenty of free tables to chose from. I got there about 9:30 am so probably gets quite busy later in the day!

Very nice restaurant "Zanoni & Zanoni" We were satisfied. We ordered pizza Margarita they were delicious. They served our order fast, we haven't had to wait long. Beside pizza, we ordered "Sachertorte" and "Apfelstrudel" as a take away- later tried them we enjoyed, they also were tasting good. While leaving we took some icecream ,they were delicious also. Restaurant itself was comfortable, light and tidy. Location is also suitable.

The desserts were traditional, freshly made and tasty. The staff amazing and easygoing. The waiter was very gentleman , as i asked him for the wifi and he opened hotspot for stronger connection . The location was on the center.

Absolute waste of money and full of inappropriate behavior! The ice cream didn’t even taste good 😓 way too sweet and just syrup. They don’t even allow customers to taste before ordering. The staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional. When I said we were from London, they mocked me and behaved like complete idiots! As a tourist, I felt helpless. One staff member even made offensive and discriminatory remarks about me. Extremely unpleasant, unacceptable, and I strongly advise against visiting!

Loved the experience at this place! The vibes and ambiance were vibrant, and the ice cream tasted great. The fruits were incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Although it was extremely crowded, the service was fast and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Plenty of ice cream flavours to choose from. Not sure what the hype is about as it tasted pretty mediocre. Not much to shout about. Service was ok. Very crowded, expect to queue but the queue moved quite quickly. Won’t return.

I would have wished the service was as good as the ice cream itself. When I arrived I immatetly got the feeling that I am only allowed to stay here for a short time, because the waiters made some comments. I haven't got a nice smile from them even once, they just seemed annoyed. My sister had to go to the toilet, she payed 50 Cent for it. If you consume sth. you get the money back, my sister didn't recive a ticket so the lady there didn't believe she actually payed for the toilet and that's why she didn't get her money back, it wasn't a lot but after that we have had enough and decided to leave immediately after finishing our ice cream. Because I worked myself in a restaurant before I get that it can be hard at times but that's no reason to act unfriendly. If it was just for the ice cream I'd come back again but because the service was that bad I am not sure I'd go there again.

Came to get ice cream at your place today. Not only that, but the service of one person in your establishment was simply outrageous, a rude woman who simply could not have a normal conversation. If I ask for a big waffle, for which I pay money, and they tell me no, is it normal? And also a portion of ice cream, for the first time in so long - small. Very, very disappointed!

We didn't know this place but after getting off from the tram and walking to the metro station we found this ice cream place. I noticed a lot of people so decided to give a try and let me tell you, it did now disappointed. I got a pistachio and my husband regular vanilla and both were amazing. Definitely worth the line.

Anyone who gives this place less than five stars needs to have their head examined. Perhaps their head of their tongue. Or perhaps a bit of yoga occasionally. This is by far, the best ice cream I have ever had, anywhere at any time. I'm not certain it's possible to produce better ice cream. I became vegan a few years ago and I am blown away but what they are able to accomplish (vegan or not vegan). This is the real deal - nothing comes close, at least not in Vienna. We tried this place for ice cream, but honestly, it wasn’t great. The overall vibe felt a bit cheap, and the pistachio flavor tasted more like bitter almond, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy it and probably wouldn’t come back.

I tried the chocolate and pistachio combo and it was absolutely delicious! Smooth texture, rich flavor — just perfect on a warm day. Leones Gelato really knows how to do artisanal ice cream right. I loved it so much I’m heading back there right now. Totally recommend this place!

Some people say they're the best in town. Their ingredients are good and they bring out the taste of the ingredients strongly, but the texture is not quite right. Esp the pistachio, it's got a bit of icyness, and crumbly texture instead of proper gelato texture Banana was not quite standard tasting but the pineapple one is quite close to the real thing

God bless the hands of the people making the pistachio at this place. I am an absolute pistachio addict and this is the finest pistachio gelato I have had. I am a pistachio connoisseur, and I have tried food that has pistachios all around the world. If you are in Vienna, and you want to try authentic gelato, look no further.

I ordered mascarpone frappé and the size was quite small for €5,50. The taste was quite good though so I think the scoops of icecream would be more worth it.

One of the best gelatos I had for a couple of years. Many home-made options + great customer service. There are two dine-in area: one where you sit and order and the other where you have tall bar chairs. Both areas are kept clean and neat. Located at the heart of the busy shopping area. Highly recommend!!

Best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life (and I’ve had a lot and am very picky with ice cream). Everything tastes very strongly of what it’s meant to taste like, the pistachio and hazelnut flavours are absolutely unreal! The only thing I don’t love is that strawberry only comes combined with basil (I think?) and raspberry with coconut. Personally I’m not a fan of those combos so never get them. If this happens to have changed/ does sometimes change, I’d love to know! I bring absolutely everyone that visits me here and no one’s ever claimed to have had better ice cream elsewhere.

Delicious gelato, with a regularly changing selection of tasty flavours both common and uncommon. Fruity flavours are very fresh and no sign of artificial additives. Lines can get a bit long on hot summer days, and it’s not the cheapest ice cream option - but well worth it in my opinion.

Absolutely delicious. I am never ever sorry when i come here. :) I love all the flavours they have, you will feel the quality ingredients they used, the staff is always kind and give you a good vibe. My favourite combination is mango with pistachio, but again everything is mind blowing.

We tried the lavender and blueberry ice cream – the flavors were unique and quite tasty. However, the place doesn’t really offer a good seating area. You mostly have to sit outside on the street, and there aren’t proper chairs or tables to enjoy your ice cream in comfort. It’s more of a spot to grab a cone and enjoy it while walking around the historic area. Overall, the ice cream was average to slightly above average, but the experience was nice for a quick stop.

Great ice cream but it is slightly overpriced. The special flavours which cost more tend to be a hit or miss but if when they are good, they are great!

This did NOT disappoint, one bit!! There’s usually a long line for gelato here, and for good reason. They have a lot of flavors to pick from, from dairy creamy ones to a few fruity sorbet tastes. The shop is so adorable and all of it is just a good vibe. Each regular come comes with 2 scoops, so you can try double the flavors which is perfect. The gelato was thick, decadent and full of sugary delight. SO good and so satisfying to have while sitting outside on a beautiful Vienna evening.

The ice cream is really good, I have been there many times, until today that I had to use their toilet and it makes me wonder about they concept of clean handling food. It has accumulated dirt for not being cleaned in days.

Average ice cream, not awful not special. Around €5 euros for 2 scoops. Despite a half empty store if you want to eat inside it’s double the price. Quite rude waiters, won’t be going again and certainly wouldn’t recommend. Better ice cream from random stalls

The ice-cream is tasty but very overpriced. The medium serving is 3 scoops, but they are tiny and it costs 5.10 euro. After we ordered we sat down in the empty salon and were kicked out by an agitated guy. He told us: "If you want to sit down it is a different price category", which is ridiculous quite frankly.

Nice ice cream. Perhaps average quality. **Note: take a seat at the tables if you are planning to EAT IN. You CANNOT sit with a take away cup at the tables. Unfortunately, I made this mistake as it is customary in the UK to sit as all ice cream is served in take away cups. **Note to owner: Please make the take away/ eat in situation clear before customers order. You will be doing yourself a big favour. We don’t have table service at UK ice cream parlours and it looks bad when all the tables are almost empty and you say “it’s take away sir you cannot eat here”. I present to you a very interesting concept. Imagine an ice-cream vendor. You buy an ice cream but you can’t sit at a table because you have it in a cup. I think the manager is a very clever person. He went to the market of nonsense and filled his cart to the brim with nonsense. Thanks again for this unique experience full of exclusions. I have an idea for the manager: why not open a restaurant where people are not allowed to sit at a table? To top it all off, there were about twenty empty tables available but we were denied access because of a rule that shines with its intelligence.

We went there on a Saturday night to grab some gelatos. I think one of the staff here at first sound rude and not gentle but once you interact with them more they aren’t as bad. I got the queen Elizabeth flavor and was good if you love caramel I’d say go for it. Prices are on the higher end but it’s worth it.

Finally had a chance to try this place and it did not disappoint. We all went for ice cream dishes this time. My banana split was very good and I got stracciatella and chocolate ice cream in it. The berry ice bowl was also very good.

Pretty good gelato. The range of flavours is massive as happens to be in general in Vienna. We had a hard time to make a choice but the staff was patient and kind enough to give us some suggestions even when they were about to close the place in 5 minutes. The ice cream was not perfect in terms of creaminess, but flavours were truly good. Their hazelnut was great and the mozart ice cream also. The size of the scoops was also generous. A fantastic option if you are exploring the city center and the sun pushes you hard.

We had two different ice cream sundays and we loved them. They are very creative with their combinations of gelato, fruit, and sauces so be sure to look carefully through their beautiful, full-color menu to see thair many options. They only take cash as payment and each sunday is around 15 Euros.

One of the oldest Italian ice cream saloon in Vienna that serves good quality yummy ice creams. I have been going to this place every year when it opens for business in April month. Lots of ice cream flavours and other snacks such as toasts and pancakes. And off course, Italian coffee.

A nice place to grab an ice cream or have a coffee with Zacher cake. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The tables are clean, sofas are a bit worn out, but still comfy. There are several halls to choose from. This is a great place to visit if you're with children - they will love the variety of desserts (not to mention ice creams).

Very tasty ice cream. The service was good as well, they let me have a taste of some flavors before ordering. What I don't like is the price. 2 scoops of ice cream is 4.20. The interesting flavours are +0.50 extra. If you want two flavours in one scoop, it's also +0.50 extra. I ended up paying 5.70 for two scoops of ice cream and the amount wasn't that large at all. What I also didn't like was that they are "buying" Google reviews. They offer you a free ball of ice cream if you post a pic, give 5 stars and write "best ice cream in Vienna". I find it manipulative and unfair to others. That's the reason you see the same sentence in every review here. Don't sell your soul for an ice cream people! 😂

My favorite ice cream in the 3d district, very tasty, great variety, less sugary than other places. There’re some unusual flavors that taste great (my recent discovery is Baileys ice cream). They also have sugar free ice creams, which is a rare thing.

My favorites is the classic (non-vegan) dark chocolate (with chocolate chips). Service is very friendly. They offer take-away boxes. We used to be weekly customers. The vegan ice cream used to be the best, real natural flavours, creamy, so we bought a box of ice cream... All the flavours had so much sugar that you couldn't even tell which one they were... Watery and sugary. What a waste of money

OMG it is heaven. I can't believe my luck today. I was on the go just shopping and I found this and it said organic ingredients from the local farmers and vegan and I though probably only the classic sorbet thingies and then super sweet BUT WHAT I FOUND WAS VEGAN ICE CREAM HEAVEN. I choose chocolate, lemon and this very special flavour called the Styrer and it is original Styrian pumpkin seed oil and pumpkin seeds and I thought at first this can't be good and then it turned out to be my hero. And this is no soy, no rice milk, not watery not sorbet it is creamy delicious ice cream and it is so so good. The bonus, the people there are so kind and so sweet and I can only recommedn to make the most of this summer season and go there! :)

I have long searched for the perfect place to have vegan ice cream. At last i have found it. My favorite one is the steriyan. They dont make it all the time but when they do i buy it. Totally recommend this place.

Tichy was a place we planned to go to while in Vienna, and it lived up to the reputation!!! Absolutely loved it. Our absolutely favorite ice cream ever. Our favorite was one we did not expect, it was the spaghetti. A huge variety of flavor in every bite. We still talk about it. We enjoyed it enough that we went there twice.

Opinions may vary from person to person, but having tried ice cream in many European countries and in Turkey, this one made it to the top of my list. It has a creamy texture similar to Italian gelato, and I think it’s definitely worth trying. The hazelnut and vanilla flavors were my personal favorites.

Best Gelato in Vienna. If you visit Vienna in summer you should try their Gelato. The place is always crowded but the queue moves faster. They also have tables if you don't want to stand in a queue.

One of the oldest Ice salons in Vienna, with a lot of tradition. Friends recommended us to visit Tichy, so we went there. The interior had that traditional Viennese ice cream parlor charm and looked nice. They offer various ice cream creations served in glasses, which isn’t really my thing. Besides those, they also have regular scoops in a cup or cone, with different flavors to choose from. I went for hazelnut and pistachio. The hazelnut was really creamy and delicious, but the pistachio didn’t taste authentic to me – it was more like marzipan and, in my opinion, not great in quality. The service was ok, but nothing memorable. All in all it was an ok experience, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. Important to know: it’s a cash-only place. If I hadn’t read the reviews before visiting, I wouldn’t have known — so it would be great if this were mentioned more prominently at the entrance for future customers.

The Eismarilleknodel is the star of this place, you shoulf try it. We also got a peach melba and it was 5 stars. The salon is great, but the place where it is located is a bit sketchy. Considering that the ice cream was 5 stars and there's no match in Vienna's center, I would return for sure.

A joke! Ice cream is mediocre at best. But that a side, staff or i think the owner with a eye patch is a such a jerk! Every time you get an ice cream from him, portion is so small, you get half of a normal portion of ice cream. I never ever saw such a chepaskate in my whole life, it’s pathetic. They only take cash! Waiter was a bit stressful but icecream was here super fast. Most cups have similar ice-cream flavours and the most varieties you can find in the toppings. Despite the big glass cups I had the feeling most cups consist of 2-3 small to average scoops +toppings The ice-cream quality was ok although I had better ice-cream but also way worse :) I think the cups itself are quite expensive with prices about 8,90-10€ If you want to try a really good one and willing to travel a bit - I highly recommend Isola Bella in Groß Enzersdorf They have the best price /taste /variety ratio

We were a group of 6 people visiting from Sweden. We were doing a tour of ice cream shops in the area, and we heard great things about Carlo! I wish it lived up to our expectations. The store was slightly busy, so one person was helping us to get our scoops from behind the counter. Four people directly finished made their choice of flavor, and my friend and I wanted to try different flavors, as there was a wide selection. After tryint the third flavor, the blonde lady behind the counter told us this was our last try. Of course we were surprised! We asked how come, because I had tried two flavors, and my friend had only tried one! She said “you are a big group, and you need to order so finish your spoons and order and get out of here.” My friend said she did not want to order anymore, and I agreed. Mind you, the four people before us had not tried anything to taste, just us. Will not be returning

Classy gelato with creative flair – but a cold vibe and steep price Carlo Gelato is clearly aiming for a high-end experience. The shop looks elegant, and I really appreciated the creativity in their flavor selection – you’ll find some unique combinations here that you won’t see elsewhere in Vienna. That said, for the price of a single scoop, expectations naturally go up. And while the gelato was very good, it’s not dramatically better than what many excellent spots in Vienna already offer using top ingredients – and at more accessible prices. One thing that made the experience a bit less enjoyable was the atmosphere. While filming short clips of the shop (out of genuine interest), I felt a certain pressure from the staff’s gaze. My wife was ordering, and I got asked again afterward, which felt slightly passive-aggressive. Maybe there was a misunderstanding, but it added an unexpected tension to an otherwise elegant setting. Fior di latte was like stiff whipped cream, quite good although not proper gelato texture. The cream cheese w caramelised figs was too much like cream cheese tho, less like gelato. There's this bitterness also? The caramelised figs don't come through very well

Simply the best real gelato in Vienna. Yes, this place is worth a special trip to savour a tub in the park opposite. Easily reachable by tram from city centre in 10 mins. The gelato is velvety, thick, not overly sweet, and packed full of flavour. If you like chocolate try The Prince. The pistachio and Be My Love was also great. This was so good we went back the next day for more. Really reasonably priced, too. Keep up the good work Gelato Carlo!

It is good ice cream but maybe I have taken in too much ice cream so I feel nothing special about it. The favor Bacio has Haselnuss inside. And the pistachio tastes a little salty compared with bacio. The shop is located in a real lovely block which made my evening ice-cream trip so cosy. The price ratio is a little low compared to other shop of same level. 3💶 for two scoops.

They have a very wide range of flavours to choose from. Pistaccio, yoghurt, walnut and Malaga are the ones we tried ans they truly tasted very well. For the price, the portions could be a bit bigger though. They also make milkshakes which are honestly worth trying. The place is cash only.

Looks amazing from the outside and the ambience inside is really nice — it feels like a place where you expect high quality desserts. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the expectations. I tried the chocolate cake and was very disappointed. The sponge was not at all fresh, and honestly, I’ve had better cakes at small street-side bakeries. For the price they charge, serving something like this felt quite disappointing. The place itself is beautiful and inviting, so maybe other items on the menu are better, but for me, the quality of the cake really didn’t live up to the standard that the atmosphere suggests.

2024- Latest updated: Unfortunately, this is a takeover, not the original Gelateria Arnoldo. I had a pistachio coup (7.8 euros) and my friend had a single scoop. We gave 10 euros cash, but they charged 3.8 euros for the single scoop, this has never happened before. So we had to give 20 euros, but the waiter said that they didn't have any change, and asked if we could give the remaining money as a tip (8.6 euros!!). After our refusing, he finally went to the bar and gave the change. This is shameful! We have been at Gelateria Arnoldo for several years and this is the last time. 2020-The best Pistazien Coup in town! 2023-Compared to previous staff, all the new staff are friendly now. I go there at least once a week

Great icecream shop. Flavours are diverse, the waiters were very nice and spoke Italian, and there were tables outside which is perfectfor Summer. The prices are also fair. The only thing is that they only accept cash payments, no card.

I ordered the Hazelnut coup with Hazelnut, Bacio and Pistachio (without the hazelnut liqueur). I wouldn't call it the best gelateria in vienna, but it was still great. The amount of whole hazelnuts is perfekt! However we had to wait for about 20-25 min to get our ice-cream

Best pistachio ice cream i have ever had. Second best is passionfruit with white chocolate. I can only give three stars though because the portions you get are gradually getting smaller. Our last visit was extremely disappointing. A small cone with two portions wasnt even a full scoop. We were asked to name both kinds of ice cream before the dealer started to serve, so they could give us more of the cheaper one. I honestly dont know if im too frustrated by their stingyness already, but thats just the way i feel. I was there about once every two weeks, but their shrinkflation lets me seek out other icecream salons from now on.

Love it. The hospitality. The quality of the ice cream. I know I said the hospitality, but it needs to be said again. Everyone was smiling to me even though I was there in the last hour. I got the caramel and the pistachio flavors, and they were amazing. I must say that they tasted more like regular ice cream, but that might be me. Their cappuccino is not strong, so definitely you shouldn't go there for coffee.

Very disappointed in the taste of the ice-cream. Texture, scoop size and price was fine. There was basically NO flavour. I tried cookies and pistachio, and my family had raspberry, vanilla and lemon. The lemon was a bit sour but just still not amazing. The raspberry had almost no flavour and I wouldn't have remembered what flavour it was except for the small seeds in it. Vanilla was , like I said, disappointing. It wasn't overly sweet. We won't go there again

A wonderful little cafe just opposite the Drei Kronen hotel offering the finest quality in Chocolate, coffee and Ice Cream and frozen yogurt. I ordered a simple Americano and it was next level. Ronnie explained all about the Rau Wolf coffee which produces and roasts its own blends. I also had a bar of their organic, fair trade chocolate which was fantastic with it. A pleasant little oasis in the middle of the Naschmarkt.

If you are fancy nice chocolate and good coffee that the place to be. I was served by a Young gentleman with dark hair. He had a very good knowledge of the product he was selling. Super polite and friendly. I did enjoy my late cappuccino and a little chocolate. Danke

Highly recommend the frozen yogurt here, it is soft serve and has two flavours: plain and mango, you can ask for a mix of both. You can choose 2 toppings as well.

A delightful little shop in Vienna's largest street market, serving numerous flavored chocolate candy bars, also frozen yogurt which I did not try. Candy bar is very from 100% cacao to light milk chocolate.

Got scammed here. When our order came out, they didn’t say a word and left some waffles with us AND THE BILL. So one is to think the bill is finalized now. Only when you go inside to pay they tell you that each waffle was 2.50 euros extra. An absolute rip off. Don’t go here. I’ll also be disputing this charge with my credit card. No one scams me.

What happened to this place? Really bad ice cream, almost running like water!? I should have trusted my gut and not ordered anything but unfortunately we ordered one for my child and had to throw it away five seconds later. Even the 4-year old said the ice cream tasted bad.

SCAM with waffles. When you sit and order, they serve waffles in packs with the ice cream and do not tell that it costs extra. Only when you pay they ask whether you have eaten waffles, and for 3 packs that were served they charged around 7 euros.

They made me pay 4.50 euros for this decrepit, vile-looking cannoli that I didn't even order. Their 8 euro milkshake barely tasted like its ice-cream flavour, which I suspect was due to how much milk was added. It might also have made my friend sick.

Unfriendly stuff!!! We bought a few cones for 20 euros, wanted to order coffee and quickly sit outside but the unfriendly lady said we cannot sit outside if we have cone????? Only a cup!! Like why?!??? It states there that you can pay 2 euros extra to sit outside with a cone, but to us she said no even tho we wanted to pay and order 5 more coffees! I believe because we were with kids so she did not like that. Never again. Arrogant and unfriendly!

The frozen Joghurt was delicious with pieces of strawberry and Nutella. But it was an ordinary frozen Joghurt and I had eaten better before. But I have to try the sweets next time.

Asked if I could try a flavor before buying a cone and they to my surprise told me in an unfriendly way there is nothing for free. Well then keep your ice cream I will be with some more friendly options like EisGreissler or Veganista who serve great ice cream and kind service

Unfortunately, the ice cream was simply very average. I don't dispute that this place makes everything themselves, but a lot of the tastes felt very "off". Especially "Topfen" was a lot closer to cheesecake than I hoped for. If you want to try some unorthodox or rarely seen variants of ice cream, this place is as good a place as any, but if you look for outstanding authentic taste, you would be better served somewhere else. You should be able to find these places by a simple online search.

Ice-cream is really not thaaat great. I believe it's homemade, but it tasted kinda off and is really heavy, after two spoons you are basically done. The place itself is pretty dirty and cluttered, and it smells like stale cigarettes. Wouldn't recommend it.

We have been there this week 3 times, it’s a 20 minute walk to get there, and unfortunately it was closed every time, with a note at the door saying it will open the next day…I wish for a web page or a phone number, you could inform yourself if it’s open, if the opening is already so unreliable…

After a long day of biking through Vienna’s vineyards, ice cream was a very compelling thought. On our way back towards the city we passed by Vidoni and, noticing a steady stream of customers, decided to try it out. After trying out a few flavours I settled on a fruity combination of blackberry, apricot and orange and we sat on a bench outside the hut? to dig in. Grinzig looks like a small town but seems to be a commuter thoroughfare, as our peaceful afternoon was interrupted by the incessant passage of cars. Had we ventured a few streets down, away from the main road, I’m sure the intrinsic peacefulness of the former town would have been more apparent. Of the selected flavours, the apricot and orange were solid, light and refreshing, but the clear standout was a delicious blackberry that clearly indicated the fruit was in season.

Very good ice cream. But, the most important point is that you can drive up to the hill to see Wien from above. It's a very nice sight seeing.

One of the day food kiosks you can find around the city. Cheap and fast eat when you're on the go. Recommend it for the experience as a traveler to see Viennese street food. We had the currywurst and leberkäser (translated to liver cheese though it is neither). Leberkäser is a kind of meat loaf that can come in a variety of proteins, though for the authentic experience, get the horse (pferd) version.

It's not the fanciest of places but the food is definitely worth it. The way the bun is shoved down the rod to make room for the sausage, the filling and then cutting it at the top and filling it back in the bun are all as fulfilling to watch as it is delicious to devour it.
