We thoroughly enjoyed our experience making the paperweights. Jake was a wonderful instructor. He was thorough and funny, and never made us feel rushed or stupid. The paperweights are gorgeous, and we’re considering doing this again.

So glad we booked a class to make our own piece of glass art. Jake was such a great instructor. He was fun, gave easy to follow instructions, and really made it an experience. The shop had a variety of pieces for purchase. Staff was friendly. It's fun that people on the street can view through open front of building , really neat.

Jake was a wonderful instructor. The perfect mix of patience and information with some good humor. We had the best day, and can’t wait to get our ornaments.

We enjoyed our wine making class very much. The instructors were attentive and made sure we got individual attention. We were in a group of 4. We will certainly be back!

I took a class to make a memorial night light using a loved one’s ashes. I was a bit nervous to be hands on because I’d never done this sort of thing before, it’s really hot, and I didn’t want to screw up this very important piece of artwork. Jake was amazingly knowledgeable and steady and helped me create something truly special and beautiful. I was signed up for the class a few months prior but had to cancel due to my daughter being sick and I had thought about just dropping the ashes off to have the piece made and they convinced me it would be really special to be able to be a part of the process and I am really glad that I did wait and take the class because it really did make it even more special to have a hand in crafting this special piece. I also spent some time checking out their other glass artwork and there are many things I’d like to take home. I especially loved the hanging vases, the glass rubber ducks, and the fruit fly trap. I’ll be back in another trip to Duluth to stop in and make another purchase. Stop in and check them out or take a class!

I took the Nightlight class. An exceptional experience, not only a unique learning experience, but being able to create my very own glass design, choosing from various techniques. My instructor, Tyler, provided an informative overview before we got started, then guided me along the entire process with patience and assistance. I have already signed up for another class to make earrings in October!

Had a wonderful time with my Granddaughter! Tyler was a great teacher. Hope to return soon. Highly recommend!

Apricot wheat was awesome. The fog burger was pretty good too. Poutine was hearty! Good service and lovely ambience.

Had the rice ‘burger’. Was soooo tasty. Ended up mixing the cherry with about 1/4 sour. Great balance. Helper sever, nice environment and outdoor seating if you chose that Highly recommend

The wild rice burger is a perfectly unique dish for such an iconic building. I highly recommend allowing some time to explore the rest of the complex before/after your meal.

The only thing bad was that the Elote wasn’t served in a bathtub, and I couldn’t eat it fast enough so I burned my mouth. Highly recommend! Elote, Wild Rice burger!

We stopped into the Brewhouse on a Friday afternoon for lunch and were seated and served right away. We ordered the Brewhouse Burger and the Fish and Chips — both were absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out quickly and hot. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere felt perfectly in tune with the Duluth vibe. Great experience all around — we’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in the try a beer as recommended by our daughter. The Big Boat Oatmeal Stout was excellent. The artichoke dip was spicy but just how I like it. Wife enjoyed her root beer and took a couple crowlers home to enjoy later. Staff was helpful and extremely pleasant. Definitely will stop again on our next trip to Duluth.

The place is great, the food is delicious, but Trisa's and Morgans service is something truly special, something out of the ordinary. Thank you to her for her excellent service.

This building has great shops and a lot of character with its stunning wooden floors and staircases. If you haven't been here yet, I'd definitely check it out!

This is a really nice place with shops, creaky floors, and places to eat. This Marketplace has it all. I’m really glad I got a chance to experience this. Taking a look around, it might bot be a bad area to spend a couple days eating and walking around this Duluth downtown area. Enjoy…

We really enjoyed getting lunch, walking around the shops and getting a coffee. It was a great place for a rainy and cold day. We especially liked Naturalight. They have so many cute gifts, accessories, stickers, and they have coffee! How can you go wrong!?

Visited the Antique store and chocolate store. Both over priced. $20 for a caramel apple is ridiculous. Chocolate store was not exceptional. Ive had much better fudge, chocolate, etc than what they had to offer. Antique store was fun to browse through if not a bit overwhelming. Very crowded with stuff. Hard to walk through without tripping. Not wheelchair friendly, you can't get through the aisles.

Love the stores inside ..so many hidden gems that are frequently rotating their stuff,🙌 I mean where else can I get a Richard Simmons bobblehead? 😁

Great place to walk around on a boring day. Let your kids play at the play park, grab something to eand bunch of shops with Different vfriday to look at a lot of fun. Easy to access by wheelchair, super great time. Plenty A variety

Great Mall and it was busy for the middle of the day I was there. Looked into charging phone carriers, got my wife phone fixed, and ate some fantastic frozen yogurt.

Many types of stores, toy stores. And a variety of foods in the food options including sushi which surprised me. Much fun!

Decent mall lots of cool little stores, expensive shopping though. 3 stars mainly because the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

Went in for a birthday rewarded drink . Was met with hostility rudeness and complete b.s. server told me I had to pay for some premium membership . Look I wont be going to anymore Starbucks nor will anyone I tell of this. This is the third time I have been here and met with rudeness. Starbucks needs to do better with hiring staff . Also needs to do better with skimping on drinks less ice as well and better tasting coffee.

I visit Duluth Pack every time I find myself on Canal Park. They have an awesome selection and something for everyone. Their clearance rack is also always pretty good. There are cute stickers available to purchase as well that are designed by a local artist. The bathrooms are also clean and smell great. My only complaint is that I wish they’d carry a little bit more in bigger sizes.

Duluth Packs have been part of my life for over 40 years! I still have the pack my dad and I used when we paddled the BWCA when I was a kid. The great sewers at Duluth Pack have even repaired and replaced leather straps to keep it fresh. I have since used daily packs, sling packs, totes, messenger & book packs… the quality is unmatched. My personal favorite: Waxed Khaki.

We have been loyal Duluth Pack customers for years. Truly the best backpacks, bags, and other canvas storage solutions. We have purchased their backpacks, the bush crafter, lake walk totes, grab and goes, and other items. Spendy but you will never find better quality. All hand made, most to order. As a business owner I have purchased backpacks and bags for employees and they love them and they keep their gear safe. Other bags would wear out quickly, and now I have had some of these for almost a couple decades. Never have been to the store and was so treated by a beautifully laid out store with a large amount of variety of things other than just Duluth Pack. Top notch customer service whether you're in the store, Andy is a great manager; or are calling the warehouse for an order, Kristina is an excellent help and resource. Over the years I have referred many people to get a Duluth Pack and they all say it was the best thing they could get. I know these bags will be handed down to subsequent generations. Great warranty as well! An excellent Minnesota company with excellent products that have stood the test of time.

It’s a really excellent selection of apparel, accessories, and outdoor supplies. It’s a store you could spend hours in checking out cool gadgets and gifts. I ended up buying a bunch of locally made candles and kept running into new products I wanted. Also, the apparel merchandising was really nice.

Very high quality items, just very expensive haha. They have some really unique products and their stuff lasts really long time. Very cute atmosphere and great location as well.

Employees were more than helpful! Very friendly and knowledge people who fielded every question I threw at them with style and ease, sometimes grace was needed and they were0 all of that and then some. While the prices are not for the faint of heart, they're fair and reasonable considering the excellent quality of the merchandise, the construction of said and most of what I looked at and bought was Made In USA ! What they carry is the stuff legends are made of.

Great selection of packs and the flannel headquarters of Minnesota. If you’re looking for outdoor gear Trailfitters in the Fitger’s building has a superior selection. If you stop don’t miss Chachos Tacos a couple doors down, the best bites in the area.

I visited the store on Friday, February 14, 2025, and was assisted by two women at the front counter. Unfortunately, one of them behaved in a highly inappropriate manner toward my husband, making comments that made both of us uncomfortable. This not only reflected poorly on the store’s customer service and professionalism but also left a negative impression on our shopping experience. I had planned to make several purchases but ultimately decided against supporting a business where an employee openly makes inappropriate remarks toward my husband while I am present. It was clear that her behavior was unprofessional and uncomfortable for both of us. I appreciate that my husband remained respectful and did not entertain her inappropriate comments, but I believe such conduct should not be tolerated in a professional setting.

Store is great, seems they’ve had some things get shuffled around, but some booths this one in particular feature all this AI generated art. This is just slop typed into a computer by a lazy artist. This is stolen digital art and typically people who sell this know exactly what they’re doing. AI art is a grift. Artificial intelligence art is about as far away as you can get from antiquing or thrift, them allowing this is just greed from the seller and (hopefully) just unawareness from the shop.

This is a gem! Many vendors with a wide array of vintage, antique and unique items. Reasonably priced. Every one of my guests that I have taken to this business have found fun things and always want to return. Plan on spending at least an hour or more to really see it all. Oh, and Thank you to Sam and Nicole for being super friendly, heldful and fun at check out.

Omg! Best antiques and handmade unique items by far! I fell in love with this store walking by the front window and was surprised to see that it was loaded with stuff and not cluttered had it's own style of organizing and was even more surprised that going around the corner and the back of the store is a downstairs full of the most unique and coolest handmade stuff I've ever seen!

This place had a lot of fun and cool things, though organized by vendor instead of by type of object made it more of a complicated labyrinth compared to a fun maze. Will definitely have to stop in again to see what I could have missed.

Since I have so many great things to say about this store, I should start with my one critique: It seems whoever takes in new inventory has a hard time recognizing when art is AI generated. Please, have someone go through the store to remove AI generated art. If it's being sold intentionally, I'd be even further heartbroken, having to shop somewhere else. That's the only negative thing I can say about this adorable store, and unfortunately, it brings my opinion down quite a lot. Once this is addressed, this will easily be my #1 store to recommend in northern MN, and I'll be happy to change my review to 5 ⭐️ :) Now... all the good things! 1. Staff were very friendly, even though I was there until the very last minute. 2. Most of the store is very thoughtfully laid out. I feel a soft theme in every space I walk into. The way the store splits itself into little rooms makes it feel like I'm shopping at 20 different tiny thrift/antique stores. I had to ask the cashier how to leave, which was silly considering there's only one door. The place just feels so huge! 3. There's always some kind of sale happening. I almost cried, seeing my favorite section (so far) on sale for 60% off. Yes, cried. If you're an antique lover or thrift enthusiast like me, you'll get a little teary eyed too. The cashier assured me that the sales stay for a while, after expressing that I was so sad to leave a good deal (they were closing 😅) 4. There is SO MUCH STUFF! I unfortunately work 7 days a week, so it's very hard to find time to visit in their short 6 hour window. This was my first visit. I spent an hour here, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I didn't even see a quarter of the store. I'm requesting a vacation day off work so I can (hopefully) explore the entire space. 5. Items were fairly priced. I was disheartened to see the price of some of the furniture, but if it were my own, I wouldn't let it go for cheap either. Nearly everything in this store is one of a kind or extremely hard to find. I left with an adorable handmade necklace, and I'm already itching for another visit. Please, clear your inventory of AI art, so I can rave about this place to everyone! It's a treasure I don't want to keep secret.

I always try to stop at this antique store while visiting Duluth and I usually enjoy my shopping experience, but yesterday the music choice was not fun to listen to. It was hard looking at items with loud electric guitar in the background. Not very nostalgic for an antique store. I did mention something to the worker behind the counter and she said that they were changing it up today and listening to light rock. Nothing was done about my concern. Some of the selection was ok, but electric guitar just isn't fun to shop to in an antique store.

Absolutely wonderful little kitchen shop! They had a lot of upscale accessories for all your needs. I picked up a thermos for camping here priced at $24.99. I also saw a coffee grinder I have at home that I paid $120 on Amazon for they had it priced at $99. There weren’t many sales but the prices were reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly. I will be back!

Surprised To Say The Least! I stopped in on a whim and found they had a huge selection of salsa, dip, and other samples available. After confirming these were samples for anyone and available any given day, I stayed to ask about hot salsas, sauces, and coffee. Store clerks were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which I wasn't expecting when it came to info on the hot sauces. The person helping me even checked the store inventory to see about letting me sample some of those that weren't open. After having torched my mouth on the hot sauces, I was in no position to sample any of the wide selection of Oils, Vinegars or Vinaigrettes, but I'll definitely be back for those. Purchased a really nice blended coffee, which they also ground up for me as well as a a really full flavored Carolina Reaper based hot sauce and specialty Ghost Pepper Salsa! 5/5: Will definitely be back!~

My husband and I stopped in recently and loved the store! They had a lot of interesting food products for sale. I'm looking forward to trying the lavender syrup I bought and my husband loves hot sauce and found one he wanted to try out of a large selection. Got some candy too. Glad we stopped in!

My favorite local place for hard to find luxurious Ingredients and gadgets. They have silly pastas and a candy area for the inner child. Not to mention a variety of oils and vinegars you can taste test to your hearts content. The bottle exchange keeps me going back.

Great home-cooking shop that has everything a kitchen needs. Was looking for specific baking supplies that weren't carried in any of the chain retail stores up the hill, and I didn't want to wait on shipping. Sure enough, Duluth Kitchen had it for the same price as listed. Friendly staff was able to reserve it for me, and i picked it up with no hassle. Highly Recommend.

Great gear that lasts forever. Yes, it is pricey, but it is worthwhile - my Frost River backpack has been across the country multiple times and overseas, and I would expect any of their items to be just as reliable. You get what you pay for.

Best packs out there in my opinion. I have the Tregurtha that has been on 10+ trips and is holding up great. Also have the backpack I use for work and the duffel for travel. Stopped in yesterday, June 23rd to find my next pack. Isle Royal it is! Looking forward to a smaller pack than the Tregurtha for my July trip to the Park. “Paddle on, my friends”!

I just happened by this place. Decided to take a look. I was not disappointed. They make all of their products onsite. Bags, satchels, back packs, and many other products. Made of heavy canvas and leather. Beautiful craftsmanship. These products are the kind you will own for life and then some.

Got my backpack from here three years ago and I still use it daily and it still feels as it's fresh and new. Worth the price and a visit.

I've always wanted the Arrowhead Pack. I needed a new carry on piece of luggage too, so I went on to purchase it. I've been along the Arrowhead Trail in route to the BWCA, so I loved the name too. It's built right in Duluth USA, so I know that it'll be a quality pack for when I hit the BWCA and when I travel the world. I only use a carry on when I travel, and this will do nicely. I've traveled to five continents using just a carry on and I'm more of a traveler than a vacationer and like to get off the beaten path. It's rugged and durable, and I'll have to pass it down to a nephew when I pass...

I went to the Duluth location. It wasn’t my first choice. And, it isn’t the least expensive. But, they could get me in and I was in too much pain to wait for 3 days. They paired me with Pete. I wasnt sure of what to expect. The front desk worker was a bit aloof and seemed perturbed with my questions. All, I can say is, MELT! I have received massages all over tge world. Pete was by far, the best! He was not afraid to dig in and release those rock hard tissues. I was absolutely beyond satisfied with his skills. For the first time on 3 days, I was able to fully open my jaw. My ribcage released and my feet quit hurting. I am a medical-massge type client. I need specific types of body care. I highly recommend Pete at the Duluth, MN location! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the other staff outside the room kept laughing and loudly banging things around. When clients are paying premium prices for wellness care in a Spa, I’d expect it to be more quiet. Please respect your clients. Thank you.

Had an hour massage with Dale and it was FANTASTIC! Perfect pressure, he hit my trouble areas, and I left feeling so relaxed. This was my first time at Pebble Spa and it is beautiful. My husband had a massage by Anna and enjoyed it so much he dozed off! Can't wait to book another appointment, wonderful experience overall!

Had a great prenatal massage. They really took the time to assess all my problem areas. They did have to unfortunately cancel my husband’s appointment because someone called in sick but they apologized and gave me a nice gift bag to make up for it. Very nice and clean space and I would recommend to anyone looking for a spa.

I can't believe I've waited this long to write a review! I love this place. We have been multiple times and are never disappointed. Despite being In a busy area, the spa is quiet and relaxed. The people who work here are always kind, helpful, and receptive. The most recent appointment I had Emma do my facial and she was AMAZING. I can't wait to book again with my birthday coupon 😁

I typically wouldn't go down to Canal Park for a massage, but my regular therapist, Josh Weston just started there and he is amazing so I followed him to this new location. I only wish the salon would add bars to the ceiling so that Josh could offer Ashiatsu massage. If you want a great deep tissue massage, ask for Josh Weston! Price is a little higher than I would like, but I believe the prices are set to take advantage of the tourist trade, rather than the locals.

The Cajan Finn is hands down my favorite fish sandwich! Wow was I blown away by flavors that are incorporated into this masterpiece. It’s worth the money. Friendly staff and short wait time. This sandwich leaves you satisfied.

There is a line at all hours for a reason. The food is unreal and vibe is immaculate. Everyone who works there actually cares in some fashion about the place and the product. Pick something up from the deli or the merch wall before you go. Employees for the most part are the artists behind the many items for purchase. Get the Cajun Finn. And the hoodie. Perfection.

Food was amazing and decor was so cool with the fish on the walls. Not the easiest for handicap customers very confusing trying to get to bottom floor. Employee that was taking orders was unfriendly and not the most helpful for a first time customer. Seen this location all over TikTok that it was The Place to go. I had "The Big Dipper" had it with the porketta it was a great sandwich but the 3 Pepper Sauce was ICE cold which was a little disappointing I don't think its supposed to be served like that ... It would been a 10/10 with the sauce warm. With how high our lunch was my overall rating is 7.5/10.

Seriously tasty. I don’t know if I’ve had a more flavorful sandwich ever! Such a cool place, perfect amount of offerings. Everything they have is intentionally curated. Good luck trying to choose! Put in an order in advance (checked around noon - 1:30 and 1:30 were fully booked but managed to get a mid week 2 PM order in, it worked out since we were at Jay Cooke and by the time we drove into Duluth and enjoyed the lake walk area, our sandwiches were ready for us at the pickup counter, no wait). Delicious Cajun Finn - a perfect sandwich!! We also enjoyed the Italiansk though we found it to be actually more delicious the next day when the bread had softened with the oil and vinegar. The restaurant and market are in the basement of the building - head down the stairs and follow the clear arrow signage. There was a good amount of seating down there in addition to the outdoor tables.

Definitely a must stop when down in the canal center. Plenty of sandwiches to choose from and a few beers on tap and in cans. There's a counter in the back selling smoked meats and fish. Everything I got was so good!

Enjoyed my first smoked salmon cheddar melt and walked away with a boatload of beautifully smoked meats and fish - salmon candy and bison pastrami. Perfect stop when in the area!

Such a cute space with the friendliest service ever! You know you've found a good bar when they have comfy, inviting chairs and well made drinks. Thank you to all the staff who walked around our dog to serve drinks 🤣 lol. She loved laying on the floor next to the bar and getting pets (even though she is side-eying me in the photo). My only recommendation is to make the menu a little more upscale looking instead of beach bar. I think it would fit the vibe inside more.

My wife and I were exploring Duluth and found this Gem! I got a flight, and my wife got a cocktail! Here is how it went... The flight... The Ovrevann Aquavit- Which was smooth and very aromatic The Voyageur Aquavit- Tasted very much like your normal spiced whiskey with a different kick Hay and Sunshine- Warm and smooth, I really enjoyed it! Temperance River Rye Whiskey- Smooth with a nice spice, hard to describe taste, bitter but in a good way! My wife got the "Airplane Mode" - a very tasty, spicy banana, vanilla, sweet cocktail that went over very well! I also wanted to shout out the service, friendly, easy to talk to staff, and the place just felt clean, light, and cozy! Thanks for a great experience!

My family loves to visit Vikre every time we are in Duluth! We love the large drink menu using our favorite base spirits! We always get the snack box too - Perfect pairing! Vikre is our favorite gin and our “house gin” at our home bar.

We have been to several distilleries but never a gin and vodka one. This was an interesting place. We started with sharing 4 tasting samples and liked the strawberry rhubarb gin the best. We also tried two of their specialty drinks, the lavender lemon drop martini and the raspberry whiskey smash. Both were really tasty. Finally, we ordered the Northen waters smokehaus epic snack box. It came with smoked salmon and trout, nordic chips, cheddar cheese chunks, a cheese spread, almonds, olives, pickles, and peppers. It was ok but not worththe moneywe spent on it. Our server was not very attentive, and we had to keep asking others to help us as our table was not in the main room but off to the side with no one else around. We did leave with a bottle of the strawberry rhubarb gin.

Spending a mini-moon here in Duluth and stumbled upon Vikre. It is definitely a must stop if you're looking for a great cocktail and vibe. The snack box was delicious. The Lavender Lemon Drop Martini and Strawberry Rhubarb Gimlet were delicious. Atmosphere is relaxing and service was great. Our Server Raina was the absolute best!

Fantastic distillery with a wide array of options and a fun atmosphere. Lots of great cocktails to choose from, as well as many flexible options for tasting flights - even give you some lime and tonic and soda water in case you want to turn your gin tasters into G & Ts! Fun to try their assortment of gins and aquavits, especially enjoyed their three herbal liquors - smoother takes on Campari, Chartreuse, and Aperol. Update - after only doing a liquor flight during our first visit, had to go back and try some cocktails! Very unique and well-crafted, especially the root beer foam in the Tragedy of Prohibition and the fusion of pineapple, coffee, hazelnut, and lime in the Tropical Goth. Fantastic notes of raspberry in the Last Word as well! Also went for the Frenchie flight - especially liked the blackberry in the Briar and the house apertivo in the Velo.

This is a beautiful stop in Duluth. The decor is classy and relaxing. They have a creative and diverse drink menu, including a nice selection of NA drinks. All their food options are snack sized, but enough for sharing between two people. Their vegan snack box is amazing! The staff was fun and knowledgeable. Lastly, the quality of the products were top shelf and worth the price. Pictured is the vegan snack box, whiskey flight and seltzer flight. I would have taken all their liquor selections home with me if I could, but I could only pick two. The Frenchie seltzer and the Aquavit were my choices, and they did not disappoint.

If you’re in Duluth you simply must have a coffee or hot chocolate at this charming little independent coffee shop. I drink Star****s, not by choice but by default. Occasionally I get out of downtown Dallas and try other (and by ‘other’ I mean better) coffee shops. This one is outstanding! They roast their own beans here and it not only creates an irresistible aroma but also adds to the already-interesting decor. No distracting bakery or panini’s - just really good coffee. There’s a bakery just doors away. This coffee is so good I don’t need to put raw sugar in it. I only started using sugar to mask the burnt taste in that other nameless but annoyingly ubiquitous coffee place.

I loved the atmosphere! The smells of fresh coffee that filled the air was wonderful as well! Tried their butter & pumpkin zenith blend coffee. The maple latte was smooth as well.

Great coffee. Great food! This place is popular so get here early or be prepared to wait for your food. Totally worth it!

I had a pleasant experience, they even let me use my own cup, the first time; the mocha was tasty. The second time I was window licking my way around downtown this morning and accidentally made it to Duluth coffee company 10 minutes early, as listening to fiddler on the roof songs. Unawares I was early, I spotted a worker opening the door with a key, and jestfully I asked when the coffee would be hot. “In ten minutes,” he replied. I checked my watch, and alas, the joke was on me. Excited, as I noticed I had time to relax and take in the commotion of morning whilst finishing my cigarette, I strolled down the block a ways and noticed another coffee sign across the street, with its neon “open” shining in the window. Happy to give second patronage to the DCC, I walked back as the worker was unlocking the outdoor seating, I helped myself to a chair and sat down, offering to place it where he wished when they opened. He replied, “I would prefer you smoked somewhere else.” Happily I walked down the street and enjoyed the coffee at the new place, with an extensive pastry menu.

A great atmosphere, delicious food, and hearty coffee. They have good gluten free options and super friendly service!

After my visit today I just had to leave a review. I recently found out that I’m allergic to dairy, so when my barista told me today that all of the syrups they make in house are DAIRY FREE I was so excited! Not only did I get a delicious drink, I experienced fantastic service, and I got to have my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. It absolutely made my day and it tasted delicious. I love being greeted by baristas with considerate, understanding, friendly faces!

Second time ordering via website. We replaced CubanCoffeeQueen Rooster coffee from the Keys for DCC. Cost effective. Different tastes. So- No companies sell DCC in the “kilo” size and flavor we love-past Hinkley that I can find. So we are paying top dollar for a great cup of coffee. We had an issue with delivery and someone at the DCC customer support. BUT TODAY we received a sealed nondamaged box and a full bag of beans! We are happy with the outcome just unneeded verbiage trying to get it. Happy Coffee drinkers here.

We were at the Lakewalk surgery center and were presented with a wonderful menu and ordered delivery; the bread was made from scratch, had an amazing texture, and delicious. They also included some freebies of cookies and chips; we can't wait until our next visit! Highly recommend!

So many great things to say about Great Harvest! They have the best customer service in town, it always smells incredible, and the coffee is always hot and fresh and brewed perfectly. I don't eat there often, but when I have, everything has been spot on delish. They won't let you down and that's a fact. I wish more cafes and coffee shops in town had similar standards of excellence, especially on the service front. Thanks for being awesome!

This is a pretty extensive Great Harvest Bread Co location with bakery items, sandwiches and a coffee/tea bar. I thoroughly enjoyed my Chai Latte. The service here was excellent.

One of my favorite places to get coffee and/or food… Will make baked goods to order - the half scones are a favorite to bring to family gatherings. The employees are kind and helpful, many recognizing regular customers by name. The one downside is the size of location - only so many people fit into the small storefront…

Great place to grab a sandwich! The staff is very friendly. Excellent chicken sandwich. And the BLT with the pumpernickel bread was awesome.

Very disappointing. GH has been an oasis of healthy options. We purchased a loaf of cinnamon chip bread, didn't read the ingredients because why would we, it's GH. "partially hydrogenated cottonseed and soybean oil." "soy lecithin" We can get this crap at grocery stores. Very disappointing. On the plus "unbromated" What's going on with y'all? This loaf went into the trash

Old school bakery so it’s not going for looks of the building. The donuts are reasonably priced and tasty. Looked quiet from the outside so a surprise when there was a huge line on the inside. Definitely recommend to someone who wants a quick treat or doesn’t want to be the coworker who brings gas stations donuts.

Great bakery. I got the personal size strawberry pie. Which was more like strawberry shortcake but still was great. I will be back to try some donuts.

So happy with our experience working with Johnson’s Bakery! I pre-ordered donuts for a Halloween-themed event, and their team went above and beyond crafting these super cute Ghost donuts. They were a hit at the event. This local bakery is a gem. They are a popular place for good reason, so be prepared to potentially wait in line (that’s when you know it’s good). If you’re heading to work and picking up donuts, I’d try to arrive early because everyone else has the same idea as you! Shout out to Barb! I was in duluth for the week with my girlfriend for her BDay. I chose Johnsons and they did not disappoint. To start off my dumb ass send a request for a custom birthday cake with no directions. Luckily the gentleman working gave me a call and asked me what I wanted and helped me through the order. Great place 10 / 10 would recommend. The cake looked pretty and tasted amazing. I do have to say due to the lack of people eating the cake I consumed quite a bit. If type 2 diabetes is my only penance for the deliciousness I would of bought 2 cakes. Thanks everyone for helping me out.

My family and I have been lifelong fans of Johnson’s so there was no other contender when it came to my parents’ wedding anniversary cake. Not only was the cake absolutely delicious, but the care and artistry around the design was stunning and the kindness of the staff was the cherry on top. I am already looking forward to the next occasion when we will order from them again!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I used Johnson's Bakery for our wedding cake and desserts. We decided to do a small cake and donuts. The donuts were a huge hit with our guests! Johnson's by far has the best donuts ever, and the cake was delicious and moist. SO GOOD!

Just want to give a huge shout out to Stacy, he was so helpful when we visited! We’re big fans of breakfast food, and had to make a reservation for a tour by 1:00, and our planned stop for breakfast was too busy. I had seen online that Duluth’s Best Bread was known for their croissants, a favorite food of mine, so they were a priority stop anyway. I was worried they were sold out, already bummed I didn’t get my most important meal of the day, so I called them to check. I explained I was a hangry New Jersian who just needed a buttery carb, please tell me yall got some of your famous croissants, and he cracked up. He said not to worry, they were stocked. When we showed up, he treated us to some extras, and we got a good laugh. Now again, as a breakfast snob and specifically a croissant aficionado, I was blown away. How they heck do yall get that much butter in there?? Delicious, flaky, like a hug from the inside. We also grabbed a cinnamon sugar homemade pop tart and that was great too. Had we more time, we probably would have asked for them to be toasted, which I can imagine would only make the 9.9/10 experience a 10/10. But truthfully, Stacy’s kindness and generosity was such a bright spot in a clearly hectic morning, and really kicked off our day in Duluth with joy. An absolute must go if you’re in Duluth!

We ordered two savory pastries on a Saturday morning around 8 am and they were not good. They did not seem fresh at all and we decided to throw them away. We were here 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Not sure if it was different staff or an overall decline.

There is line usually at the window but it is outside which is nice during these covid times.  Prices would say on par with other bakery's , maybe a smidge higher. Lots of macaroons choices , I bought some bread, croissant cinnamon buns and scones. The croissant was excellent and the bread smells amazing. They had a separate line for pre orders which I will do next time as faster and can just grab and go. Update 5/7/22. Went before they closed on sat and they were out of most things as go early to get the things you want. We got the macrons, pecan caramel roll, cinnamon roll, cranberry wild rice bread. My favorite was the wild rice bread and pecan caramel roll.

I came here this morning and ordered a danish and a ham and cheese croissant, both of which were cold. I asked the cashier if he could warm it up and he placed the plastic to go container in the microwave…..it was only for a few seconds but our pastries were not hot AND now they were infused with microplastics. In addition, our maple latte did NOT have any maple in it, and wasn’t told to us. We only knew because we overheard the two boys working there that they couldn’t find the maple. They did not inform us at all, and still charged us for the specialty latte. We came to visit from Minneapolis and this was overall a terrible experience. My partner didn’t feel comfortable eating pastries that had been warmed in a plastic container in the MICROWAVE.

Delicious bakery (a tiny hole in the wall) in the heart of Lincoln Park. The bread is baked perfectly and priced right but the prices are a bit high for the pastries and croissants. However once you bite into the divine tasting almond croissant, you forget all about the $4 price tag. Sweet, nutty, buttery, with a crunch--amazing. Several restaurants around town serve their cinnamon rolls and they also have a kiosk in the mall around the holidays.

I couldn't wait until I took the pic! Chocolate Almond Croissant is amazing. Macarons are fresh & so flavorful. Staff are helpful & friendly! First visit & I will be back.

Great location on the edge of Lincoln Park. Park out front, walk up to the window and be prepared to be overwhelmed with wonderful bread smells. This is the Best Bread in Duluth, literally! Many types to choose from, Cranberry Wild Rice is my favorite, my wife loves the sunflower seed mix. Great price, super service and they will slice the bread if you want it. Hmm fresh bread, newly sliced, yup smells don't lie its The Best Bread in Duluth. Available also at St Luke's Cafeteria, Whole Foods Coop, and their Bakery off 27th West. Enjoy, oh did I mention the Pecan Carmel Rolls, croissant of all types and well you will just have to go to find the other goodies!

Nice way to see the city! It was smoggy from the wildfires so we didn’t have the clearest views. We purchased tickets ahead of time which I would recommend, though tickets can be purchased right across the street. Departure and arrival times were spot on. We sat up top, it is not at all shaded, so be prepared to need breaks down on the lower levels if it’s hot and sunny (90+ when we went 🥵). Full bar was available, water was free. It was hard to hear the guide from the top level, either she was too quiet or she was right on the mic and everything was muffled. When they tell you not to remove chains to go up and down sets of stairs, they mean it. Mind blowing how many grown adults were asked by staff to follow the rules after they were explained, witnessed several get stuck downstairs after letting themselves down from the upper level. There is a capacity they have to keep track up so if they don’t see you go down you can’t go back up. However once we got moving, they do remove the chains so you can’t get up and down freely.

My husband and I just did the Grand Sightseeing Tour on the Vista Star. We absolutely loved it! It was so very informative. Bill did a fantastic job narrating and dropping in some humor as well as offering up so many facts about permanent points of interest as well as ships currently in the harbor. The entire staff was phenomenal! This boat tour was the highlight of our visit to Duluth and we'll definitely do this or another tour option next time we visit. I very highly recommend going on one of the many tours that Vista Fleet has to offer.

This is a great tour with excellent narration about the history of the harbor and the lake. I took this tour in the 1980s, the 1990s, and most recently in the 2024, and it's always been great. On our latest tour, we saw the Arthur M. Anderson (the ship that was out with the Edmund Fitzgerald the night it went down in 1975) come into port. We also saw the largest freighter currently on the great lakes, the Paul R. Tregurtha (a.k.a. "Queen of the Lakes").

We had a great time on the Vista Star in Duluth Harbor. Although the weather was rainy and very windy and it was too choppy to go out on Lake Superior, we had a very nice and informative tour of the harbor area. We got to see some big boats up close. The crew was great!

A great experience! It took the exact amount of time they said it would take. Left on time and arrived on time. Our tour guide wasn’t very factual, so if you’re looking for facts maybe fact check… they have drinks that are expensive but it was worth it!

We had the 90 minute tour for our ride. It was a very nice medium sized cruiser. I understand from others that the bigger ships and longer rides are Awesome. Would do this event again. Enjoy…

The service on the boat was horrible at the bar three employees working and a line of 10 people took 5 minutes to get a beer. The boat itself was really a fun ride and the guide talked a lot about the area he was very good but difficult to hear as most people were inside because of the weather. Ordered a few times not one time did the server at the bar even thank me.

Spent 70 dollars for a cashier lady to be super rude . I mentioned to my bf about the air refresher and she interrupted us and said * well it’s for your car* I know I’m not stupid,!! Sales REP CHR ! Super rude . Not friendly at all.

Love my Duluth Trading steering wheel cover! It is so sturdy, its seems like the whole car is more trustworthy:) At first I thought the cover was too small, and Matt helped me wrestle it on -- thank you again!

Store was nice . This was my first time shopping with Duluth Trading . Wish they had more choices for kids . Was pleasantly surprised at the various women’s clothing options and shoes . Love the quality Of the clothing and cuteness. We had a secret security shopper following us around the entire store while we shopped . I guess it looked like to him my 80 yr old mother, myself and other person with us was going to shop lift ! Be a little more inconspicuous next time Dude ! This was really annoying!!! Going forward I will shop at Orlando .

Cool store with nice people. They had 30 percent off today so we got some of those nearly naked boxers for all the boys to try. We thought that nearly naked bottomed man with a canoe might need a pair too but none were large enough. We really only checked out the store because we were in Duluth. We don’t typically frequent it. In fact today was our first purchase at one. Wishing they still had it on the ole barge for old time sake. Oh well. Things change.

Great store, with probably the highest quality closes you can get. The atmosphere here is bright and comfortable. The staff are helpful, and the building is clean. It's definitely worth coming here when they are running a good sale.

The store has a good selection of groceries and healthy choices like you can find at a Whole Foods store. That part is nice! However, the store isn’t in the best place. Lots of homeless people hang out in the area and both times going to this store I’ve had homeless people waiting for me at my car to ask me for money.

This place is awesome I loved coming here when I lived in the area they have local honey that quite literally crystallized in every bottle I got, amazing green tea options, great cold pressed juices and great cheese selection on top of good eggs as well

I used to love our coop, but recently the quality of their produce has been so poor. A lot of times I don't buy what I was going there for because it looks so bad. They haven't had large beets for weeks now, potatoes are always soft and with a lot of rot, green onions are not green, but mostly yellow, lettuce looks wilted and very sad. Almost everything is from Mexico too. I went to the cities the other day and their whole foods had a lot of California products, including super fresh beautiful CA asparagus. They stopped selling Amish chicken here too. Tons of CBD products, though, and constant asking to round up, which gets annoying at times. Not sure what's with the whole row of CBD stuff there. I think our Whole Foods COOP should focus on providing the freshest possible produce and not on expanding their CBD drinks section.

Been coming here off and on for over 5 years. Best grocery store in Duluth if not for the challenging parking.

Great organic/healthy grocery store especially with the absence of any Whole Foods. The grab and go, plus the hot food bar & soup options are always reliably tasty. If you’re not a co op member consider joining and supporting this and other establishments like it!

Great pie options! We stopped by after a local restaurant lost our reservation, and we didn’t want to wait 45 minutes for a table. This co-op provided us with exactly what we needed— great pizza and pie from Rustic Inn Cafe! Our cashier was super friendly too!

I called at 5:00 tonight to reserve and pay for a pie that was supposedly just delivered. Since it was prepaid and they put it in a bag, I did not see the sell by date until I got back to Superior. The sell by date is yesterday! This is NOT a fresh pie. This was supposed to be for a birthday party tomorrow.

Two ladies in the store at the register were incredibly rude and told my daughter to get off of the bottom lip of the cart as my husband was around her gently walking and basically holding her as she barely touched/didn't touch the ground. The younger lady addressed my daughter as she is in trouble as opposed to the parents. The lady at the register whispered to the other register lady and then she proceeded to give us a hard time. We pushed back stating that she is our child and we can deal with any issues or injuries. She said we should read the cart and that it is stated on all carts although we read our cart right then and there and it is not. This is an overreach of her "powers" At the end of this all- we do not feel welcomed at this store and will not be purchasing anything here.

I went today with my friend. There was only one person on one register working and two other people on another register that were just yapping and they didn’t want to do anything about it, and there was a line full of customers. and when my friend told the guy something, the guy just stood still, and didn’t say anything, and he followed my coworker outside and stared at him through his car window with his arms crossed. giving him a stone cold face.

I stopped here to grab a few things to eat while I was watching softball for the evening. I put my daughter in the basket of the cart when I walked in. She is disabled, unable to walk or speak. We briefly stopped to look at magazines at the checkout aisle and I was told by an employee that I can’t have my daughter in the cart basket. I explained that she is unable to walk and is about 65lbs.The cashier offered to get the ‘Caroline Cart’ for me. I then had to lift her out of the cart and put her in adaptive cart,while other customers watched and waited for me to move.This is not an easy task,physically .I felt embarrassed and felt I was treated disrespectfully. This is the second experience that has made me feel unwelcome at this store.

a cashier yelled at my child from across the store because she was holding onto the cart, like any normal kid would. it was extremely jarring for both of us and highly unnecessary. my daughter has been shaken up all day about this cashier’s tone and attitude towards us, we will not be shopping here again.

This place is awesome I love shopping from my local co-ops and this one offered a more diverse range of options and better meat in my opinion than the other Duluth co-op selection

They cant keep anything stocked. They really need to hire real trained management, like send in a couple from corporate. This store is suffocating itself to death by stoned out half baked managers who are just clocking in and out. Hot food is a disgusting joke that is made differently everytime and varying tempetures,,,it's either all but and greasy and heat baked onto the wrappers while dripping teacups of grease everywhere or cold and gross. This store needs help. The managers clearly have zero idea how to run it

Marine General is the best fishing tackle store I've ever seen. Their selection, prices, and incredible shipping speed are second to none! I would highly recommend checking them out for any of your fishing needs.

This place was mid quality at best. The service wasn’t a problem at all the employees were polite and well mannered. On the other hand the chocolate it self was the issue. 24$ for 1 dubai chocolate bar which wasn’t even that great was to say the least a scam. I would recommend this to someone who is willing to spend some money this place isn’t cheap and as someone who isn’t from I had no clue what I was walking into. I will not be going there again.

They have an abundance of sweets to choose from. It was hard to choose which caramel apple but we settled on the pecan pie apple. It was delicious! We couldn’t have asked for anything better. However the other items we bought were good but nothing that blew us away. The shop itself was nice and clean. The service was fast and the people were helpful. If you are looking for a delicious caramel apple and other sweets you can’t go wrong at Rocky Mountain.

A really good place to get some candy and find some local Duluth treasures! Chocolate was really good and they had a large assortment of Halloween and seasonal items to choose from as well! Very close to lots of other stuff in Canal Park and would be great to grab a treat and go by the lift bridge!

The pairing of apple and chocolate was truly fascinating and exceptionally tasty! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel warmly welcomed. The blend of sour apple and sweetness of apple pie was a delight to the palate!

I recently bought a chocolate bar here because it was marked half off. Seemed like a good deal until I realized later the “best by” date had passed over a month ago. Nowhere on the signage or from the staff was that disclosed as the reason for the discount. While I understand best-by dates aren’t hard expiration dates, customers have a right to know why something is being marked down. Especially when it involves food quality. I probably wouldn’t have bought it had I known. Disappointed in the lack of transparency. Edit: the store manager reached out and apologized. This was a mistake and it was not marked down because it was past the ‘best-by’ date.

I've been to many great chocolate/fudge shops around the country and even in Europe and wow, the chocolate shops in Duluth are very overpriced. I was with a group of 4 people, we all got a small amount of separate things, we all had sticker shock when they rang us up. The quality is good but not that great for the price. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

Great customer service, got a sick Harley Gargoyle X07 Helmet here once, was able to use a military discount at the time. It's just unfortunate that this dealership is closing soon. It's the closest one to the Iron Range area being in Duluth, most people around the area don't want to have to go to St Cloud, the Twin Cities or Rice Lake WI.

Was in the market for an upgrade. My ‘14 Street Glide had 66,000 miles. Found a 2018 Street Glide at Duluth Harley Davidson with only 12,900 miles. I called and spoke with Dave and Kayla, got pre-approved on Friday. Rode my bike 2hrs north on Saturday. Test drove while they inspected my trade in. Deal was made timely and got a discount on some accessories rolled into the purchase. Very happy with their service and would not hesitate to drive to them again for my next bike.

After much consideration and medical issues, the wife and I decided to go to a trike. Josh Adolfs was awesome, sold me my Street Glide Special 3 years ago and was great to deal with again, on trading it for a 24 TriGlide Ultra. Even got discounts on few accessories. Wife and I have never been disappointed going there to buy or even stopping by to BS. Thanks to Josh and everyone at HDSC !

Nice layout, great inventory of accessories. Problem was I went in to order a replacement throttle cable."aftermarket" the parts guy either didn't know how to properly measure it or purposely was going to order me the wrong cable.

Brought my Rolex in to get serviced. Worked with Rob at superior st location. He told me they would call me with a quote. I called after three weeks and was told the repair person had not looked at it yet. A week later I got a call from Rob with a quote of $1100. I asked how they had arrived at that number and he seemed to get defensive. Explained what was needed and that it would cost me more if I sent it to Rolex. I explained I just wanted to know what I was getting for my money and to proceed. A month later I called about the watch and was told Rob would call me back. He did and told me that watch was ready. Went in and picked it up today. It took two representatives behind the counter well over 5 minutes to figure out where the bill was and how much was owed. Got the watch home, 1 1/2 hours away, and pulled it from the packaging. Watch was dirty and full of scratches. Called Rob and informed him about it and his reply was “did you ask us to clean it?” I replied no but thought that should be included when someone is taking it apart and working on it. My brother brought his Rolex in before me and when he got it back it was beautiful. Rob says bring it in and “I’ll see what I can do.” Just be careful going there because the Seiler’s are now gone and it’s a totally different business.

I went to the location in the Miller Hill Mall that recently opened. Tyler was so helpful. He put 2 rings in hold for a couple of day’s and then when they weren’t the perfect ones he was happy to keep looking! He was patient, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! I will always go back to this store and ask for Tyler! I would recommend you do the same!

We have made Security Jewelers a regular part of our Duluth vacation. I must say our last visit just as our previous visits did not disappoint! The merchandise selection was terrific and the staff was superb!! We had the pleasure to work with Travis and Rob, these two were so impressive with their enthusiasm and customer service. We asked to look at numerous items and they always had a great attitude and genuinely wanted us to know and understand the items and the manufacturer. Bought several timepieces from Security and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience each time. Rob and Natasha have both guided me through the watch buying experience and it has been a very enjoyable experience each time. They are very passionate about the industry and their community.

Very friendly and helpful staff who are knowledgeable about watches and jewelry sales and repair. They also sell some beautiful and unique pieces with very fair pricing. And I need to add that I was in the other day to pick up a watch repair and drop off a ring for repair and these fine Duluth people at Security Jewelers are just the nicest. Thank you Dan and Tasha and whomever's name I am missing! You folks are the best!

I stopped in for a wedding ring repair on a late Friday afternoon. The young man who helped me was very kind and personable (wish I had caught his name!) and the goldsmith fixed the issue on the spot. I was in and out in 5 minutes. They very generously did not charge me for the repair and gave my ring a shine to boot. 10/10 wonderful service!!

A few shops and a store. That's about it. It's a lifesaver of a store because that's the closest one to Superior St besides canal park for a store.

I really love this store I have since I was a kid I think that is very sad that they don't help these owners this is a mom and pop store and a lot of vendors don't want to deal with the mom and pop stores but I think that's what makes a part of Duluth is some of these mom and pop stores it gives it the the it gives it a good old fashioned feeling and just it just I love it and I wish that there would be more people that vendors that would open up and help this store back and popping because this is always been a wonderful place

Nice place I it used to be the hub of the large town of Duluth/Twin Ports. Kinda empty now but some shops. Snyder's Drug is on second floor up the escalators and to the left past the popcorn stand, staff at Snyder's are smart, nice, and genuine, plus it's the only convenience store that's downtown really and it's on Duluth's "Skywalk" system of interconnected glass bridges on the second floor between buildings(it gets COLD in Minnesota in the Winter+AC in the Summer).

Well I am partial to the holiday center,in the late seventys I was the Head of security there. We had a big problem with teenagers. Many are friends. That's how I delt with them,I made friends. The place is a lot quieter now.

Rabe is The Best. We made one phone call and he set aside a THULE for us and within an hour he helped us install it. Professional and so friendly. We will be back because of him.

Awesome service and selection. I needed a replacement Leatt helmet through their crash replacement program. Leatt was dragging their feet, but Continental sold me one off of their shelf so I wouldn't be waiting all summer for Leatt! Good old fashioned customer service is hard to find these days, but Continental has got it in Spades!

Rented a mountain bike to follow my runner at Grandma's Marathon (off the official course). Great bike, in great shape, tuned and prepped to my height and weight. Fun crew, working hard. Highly recommend their rental service.

Just wanted to rent a bike to watch my husband run the marathon- staff were efficient, friendly, and provided me with bike, helmet, and lock. Rental was a little pricey, but an excellent mountain bike in great condition, and I then had to find some trails to enjoy the bike! Would definitely recommend!

I had taken my high-mileage 2000 Litespeed to several different shops because the bike had been "ghost shifting" / shifting on its own for years, and the other shops couldn't fix the problem despite charging a lot of money in repairs. The shops didn't want to replace the worn-out nine-speed group set and instead did two complete overhauls, which ended up costing more than a new groupset from Continental did. Continental did a great job and the bike no longer ghost shifts and shifts/rides like new again. Thank you for the great, friendly service and speedy job!

Great bike store. Just bought a Kona from them. Okay we rode different sizes and found the perfect size. They have a ton of accessories. Chose the add ons for the Kona, they put it all together and boom, I had a bike. Well another bike. I have alot of bikes, some say it's a problem. Love my Kona, and they made the whole sales experience awesome. Stop by and get a bike!

Great vendors especially the home made baked goods and wonderful granola from Risen ..it was amazing and healthy choice of honey instead of sugar to sweeten this heavenly blend of oats coconut, nuts and toasty wonderful flavor blend Should label it : ) caution yummily addictive I wanted MORE!!!

A wonderful market with a variety of fresh vegetables, canned and baked goods, jelly, syrup, eggs, body care, and more. Each day the selections vary as with any market. Vendors are friendly. Both credit cards and EBT payments are possible. The shaded building is nice on hot, sunny days and there is a lot of air flow through open windows and doors. You can also give and take plant pots/containers in a free exchange area and the egg vendor will reuse your egg cartons if you return them. Recommended for both locals and visitors to enjoy fresh, local products and support the makers and growers.

Awesome little market in a convenient and cute part of town. Surprising variety of stalls for such a small space (cheeses; veggies; meats; jams/spreads; honey; baked goods; herbs and spices; condiments; beauty supplies... there's a lot for such a small building). Always active on a Saturday AM. Stalls accept credit cards. Vendors are friendly. Good airflow and comfortable even on warmer mornings. Does get busy (parking wise, but there's street parking all around it).

Discovered a winning combo today - toasted cardamom bread with maple cream. And won a raffle prize! The Caribbean sweet chili sauce is a must have, and awesome herb infused cooking salts. Looking forward to breaking into the goat cheese. Thanks everyone!

I love this place!!! Wonderful selection of local fruits, vegetables, pastries, jams, cheeses and much more, all at reasonable prices. We always check out the root vegetable guy. He always has great recipe ideas for his wonderful crops.

I’m giving a 2 star based on the customer service. When I call to try and get some information it seemed as if I was inconveniencing them and they just wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible. Also they only guarantee the waterproofing for two years in comparison to competitors that guarantee their products waterproofing for the life of the product. This seems like a weird move when there are many reviews of these products leaking shortly after people get them. Considering these facts they have driven me away as a customer and I’ll most likely be purchasing the direct competition. I really liked the suit they offer here but in my daily commutes I need water proofing not maybe water proofing. If they chose to partner with Gore-Tex then maybe I’d reconsider because goretex guarantees the waterproofing beyond the manufacturers guarantees.

Superior products and sizing assistance! After so many years of misfitting motorcycle clothing, I found the place that takes time to do an excellent job of sizing. I'm very glad my vacation plans from Arizona were 120 miles away from Duluth, and I got an email note from Aerostich while in MN.

Stepped in Duluth last night and as you know, there was a big storm that came through. This morning I swung by and a young lady, I wish I remember her name, was super helpful and getting me set up with over shoes as well as over gloves to keep my feet and hands dry on what was a long/wet ride today. I know it was a simple purchase to you, but that small purchase payed dividends today. Thank you very much kind stranger.

After years wondering in the dark, I finally learned of Aerostitch. My wife and I were going to go on a dream ride through the Scottish highlands and I needed a new rain suit for the trip. I ordered the Darien 2pc suit. Great customer service! We had some pretty incredible amounts of rain and gale force winds at times during the ride. The Aerostitch suit keep me dry. Can recommend to anyone getting this gear. Half of our group of riders through Edelweiss motorcycle tours were devoted Aerostitch wearers. My wife now wants to get herself a new Aerostitch suit. Can't thank you enough.

I couldn't, (still can't) afford a new one, so a shopkeeper fitted me for an off the rack size so I could look for a used one online. What more could I ask for? All for the love of motorcycles. Some items are worth the price but the truffles absolutely stay away. They are not good at all compared to others and one of ours LITERALLY had mold on the inside after taking a bite. Will never return. 5 bucks per truffle just for that

Top tier truffles….. the team member suggested this specific truffle and molten ball and all I can say is WOW!! The team member was top tier and made the store experience memorable. Even helped me decide if a specific truffle had brown sugar on top…. I guess it did not.

So disappointed in the truffles. Very overpriced, and the filling is like some weird powdered cocoa concoction. Not dark and creamy like truffles are supposed to be. Also, the amaretto truffle had absolutely no hint of amaretto. At $5 each, it’s a hard pass. Plus, sorry for bothering you, associate trying to hide in her corner….. 🤣

Very disappointed with the truffles. And highly overpriced. No itemized receipt so charges for candies can be arbitrary too. Overpaid for what we got. Ask for individual item prices if you do go there. I’m not going back there.

I love this little candy store. The guy here is nice and knows his products well. There is a good selection if candy to choose from and just about all of it is really fantastic. The inside of the store is old style and really quite charming. It is quite expensive though. Overall a great candy store in a great location.

When I purchase from local businesses I love hearing about how they were started, what inspired the owner, family history that contributes to the shop. I innocently asked where the chocolates were made and the lady working the counter said I can't tell you because the owner doesn't want anyone to know. She reassured me it was from a high quality dessert place. That turns me off from supporting this place. I suspect they buy Abdallah chocolates and resell them at a much higher cost. I agree with other reviewers that the prices are too high and the product is not fancy or fresh. They charged nearly $9 for 1 chocolate covered Oreo, 1 PB cup, and 1 coconut haystack.

I visit this store every time in Duluth. They have the best designs and I love that they are made by local artists. Their items have become some of my favorite shirts and sweatshirts that I own. Also, the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend!

I LOVE Flagship. They have the softest shirts and the neatest designs. I wear my "be great not salty" shirt constantly. It's in a great location. If I lived closer, I'd be there all the time. Good thing they have an online store. ;) An addendum two years later - I finally got back up to Duluth and took some of my friends who live in Duluth to Flagship. They love it, too! I brought home a "home is where the lake is" shirt - even though my home is far from Lake Superior, I have another lake I call home. So fitting! :)

This store is a welcome addition to Canal park shopping. Flagship has quality apparel with regional themed graphics created by local artists. The designs are attractive a tasteful and reasonably priced. They do the screen printing on-site which adds a very cool hand created touch. The proprietors have partnered with other local businesses, like Duluth Pack, to offer unique products that represent the best of Duluth's local businesses. Beyond the retail aspect, Flagship environmental and social causes which are important.

Flagship is such a unique store in the heart of Canal Park that offers products that are special to the Twin Ports area for customers to purchase. Their one of a kind items make it fun to visit frequently as they are constantly changing what is in stock. I have made several purchases at Flagship and can't say enough about the welcoming atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the quality of the products. The products are designed by artists from the area, which really shows the store's commitment to keeping things "local." If you haven't already, be sure to stop into Flagship. You won't regret it!

The young saleswoman Alex was pleasant and upbeat and was very helpful in showing us many cool designed shirts and hoodies. Also she mentioned that several designs are created by local artists or collabs. It is great that this store is helping support local artists. Mainly was Alex being friendly and personable why my girlfriend and I bought several things great product and great customer service cannot beat Flagship in Duluth.

Amazing shop! Bought a polaroid camera from 1981 and it was in mint condition and works very well! Beautiful shop that changes daily. Very interesting and diverse things in stock! The staff are very friendly and engaging; could spend hours chatting and socializing with their beautiful and friendly dog Lily!

The sweetest couple who own this store and their very friendly and helpful. Super kid friendly - my child loves coming here and always walks out with something they love. The owners really love children and it is very evident when you bring a child in - they have a little kids basket to look through in the front (which helps my child stay busy while I enjoy looking around). Great place to find treasures. This is overall one of my favorite small businesses in Duluth - worth visiting!

I recently discovered Old Town, one of Duluth's 'hidden jems'. This store moved to this location a few months ago, but the owners have been gathering and selling treasures in Duluth for decades. Many pre-1940s items, and their items seem reasonably priced and good quality. They stock Duluth and regional memorabilia, perfume bottles, toys, jewelry, wood furniture, clothes, signs, masks, framed art, yarns, and many contraptions you just need to, well figure out. Good place for gift shopping, and they have new and old cards. Confortable place to browse. Old Town also has a few stained glass pieces. They partner with a skilled local artist who repairs stained glass and cleans old metal items (including statues throughout the city). This shop DOES take credit/debit cards and is next door to a good clothing consignment shop, Dannie Duluth. (But Old Town is not a consignment store). There's a kids table in the book section.

It is a small shop so a quick visit. Goods were a varied assortment of odds and ends. Prices seemed okay and the staff was very friendly.

We had never been there before, came across it while going to Wasabi for the first time. We enjoyed both. This store is a good big size with a lot of variety. Helpful people working. Pleasant stop!

We will never be back it's sad because we uptill now went 3or 4times a summer. Spent money there Everytime. This time me and my kids walk in as normal. As I go threw I saw something that I was going to buy, then the lady working the counter says this is not a place for kids. Fine will never be back.

Literally the coolest store. I’ve been to sooooo many stores similar to this one, and this is by far the best. Especially if you love Taylor swift! The items from local artists are absolutely stunning! But so many things here are completely useful, not just gag gifts like other stores. Leave here feeling like your best self, even if you didn’t get anything related to self care (which of course they have many from that category). The prices are actually really great too. Only a few items where the price was unexpectedly high. But stores like this in the twin cities would be like scary expensive. So this is so worth the stop!!

I saw this place as I was driving around downtown Duluth & even the glimpse from the outside is to die for. Stepping foot into this shop was like something from my own personal dream journal. Stickers, macrame hanging plant holders, cards, gifts, markers/pens, notebooks, to do lists, coffee cups, magnets, art prints, lip gloss, scrunchies - literally everything your heart desires. You don’t want to miss this shop!

I went into this shop just to check it out. It's a really cute boutique shop with a little bit of everything. I ended up falling in love with a small backpack purse. Some of the decorative stitches came undone and Emily had the stitching fixed for me. She went above and beyond to fix my bag and I still absolutely love it!

I never remember birthdays or events, and always find myself getting ready for them 10 minutes before they start. Needless to say, I never have an appropriate card. I started hoarding them so I had a stash ready to go at a moment's notice. Emily at Hucklebeary was so helpful and her selection is so good that my stash tripled in one afternoon. I'm not a crafty guy, but her store is filled with great little gifts and local products, so I even found myself browsing around at what else she has in stock. Great little store, a total gem and an excellent alternative to big-box places to find cards you just don't find elsewhere!

Friendly staff. Said hi and introduced themselves. Had small talk with my boyfriend, then left us alone as we slowly walked through the store exploring their many artists, but being close by and very responsive when asking questions and mentioning art or artists we liked. They have pottery, statues, jewelry, paintings, etc.

A phenomenal place and Jeff is truly a gifted master and artist when it comes to framing! I have brought to him pieces of art as well as degrees and diplomas and has made the most amazing job at providing the perfect frames for them!

My wife is an artist who has used Lizzard's several times for rather large framing projects. They have been unbelievably helpful to her in helping plan these projects and have gone above and beyond in getting them done ahead of the timeline. And the quality of their work is exceptional. The staff is so kind and easy to work with and we couldn't be happier with our experiences with them.

Jeff does a great job of helping me choose frames, and of course he does a great job framing. I always enjoy seeing the art on display, which he changes up often. Great service-he has always met deadlines that we agreed on.

My greatest sadness is that I only discovered this gallery two weeks ago. I had had a home robbery and was looking to replace some of my stolen art. Also, I had several pieces to be framed. I have never felt better about discussing the type of art I wanted and I welcomed suggestions in replacing my stolen art. The staff are so incredibly good. I will definitely have more comments when I finish replacing my artworks. This place is a gold mine and I just wish I could live there and take in all the beautiful pieces of art.

I've never gotten a bad frame. No matter what I bring in, and no matter what condition it is in, it looks like a million bucks when I get it back. The collection of artwork is eclectic and amazing. There is something for everyone. And the staff. The staff is top notch. I just recently took a look at the upper level and that was a full sensory overload of great pieces. Truly one of the best downtown businesses to exist today.

Really excellent service. The organization of the gallery feels a bit haphazard, but the staff really want to make sure you get what you want. They offer lots of framing options and advice. The artwork shown is by area artists, so you know you are supporting the local economy. When we were trying to decide on which piece to buy, they offered to loan the options to us at no cost, so we could test them out at home and see how they worked in various lights. They were recommended by our realtor whose husband had been a painter, and she lauded them as the best framing store and gallery in the area. We were not disappointed by our experience.

Liked this place. Felt bad because I couldn't afford to buy what I wanted. The art was absolutely mind blowing and so much spoke to me. It was a lot to take in. Beautiful, all indigenous crafts and books. I bought a few more cards to send to my friends. Nice people too, was greeted right when I walked in. Loved the LGBT+ representation in the art which is so often missing in larger spaces, very supportive of native youth. Came from out of state so sadly probably won't be able to come back but was so happy to make the stop.

Often try to make sure to come here whenever we're in Duluth during the weekday. They always have something we're interest in buying. A bunch of Local Native Art, Clothing, and food.

Beautiful, handmade pottery by a gifted artist. The day after our North Shore wedding, my wife and I picked up matching mugs (bees and flowers) and were even treated to a studio tour by Karin, the artist and owner. Can't wait to visit again for our anniversary!

Duluth Pottery offers original works of art (mostly functional, but some just plain gorgeous). I visit periodically for gifts--my mother pretty much only wants to drink out of her Forget-Me-Not mug. Yesterday I came in for the annual mother mug. It slipped out of my hands at the next stop and shattered on tiled floors. I was (and still am) absolutely devastated about it. I decided to try to go back and see if there was a way to repair it (there definitely was NOT...) but the person at the register who helped me was extraordinarily kind and showed me grace during my public breakdown over broken pottery. We found a suitable replacement, purchased it, and went on our way with many well-wishes. If words could mend broken hearts (and mugs), this person could probably save the world. I love the pottery, but the people at Duluth Pottery are even better. Thank you.

If you are a ceramics fan, this is where you need to be. You'll find work from many of the best potters in the region. I always feel happier after visiting. The art is beautiful and Karin and Luke are so much fun!

I love to go in to Duluth Pottery and just walk around the room multiple times because there are so many beautiful pieces of pottery to look at. I just picked out a fabulous mug for a Christmas gift. The online store is great too!

I wasn't looking for a kitchen supply store during my last visit to Duluth, I found this place quite by accident, but I'm so thankful I did! The Blue Heron is a small store, but it's PACKED with high quality kitchen supplies, including cookware, cook books, pantry items, and utensils. I purchased a few things, and wish I could have bought a whole lot more! Really top notch quality stuff, any foodie or gourmet chef would love this little place. There are a handful of shops and restaurants that I always visit in Duluth, and the Blue Heron is now on that list! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Blonde owner kicked a lady out of the store because she was in a wheel chair and didn't want her destroying her store and her purses. The lady said she has fit in smaller stores just fine and she wasn't ruining anything. All stores are to be handicap accessible. Couldn't believe this.

Wow, after reading the other reviews I'm glad we didn't give this horrible store our measly $1.08. My girlfriend wanted to send postcards to her centenarian grandmother, her terminally ill aunt, and her mom. We only had a dollar bill, and instead of just letting us have an eight cent discount we were denied the purchase. What an establishment you've got going for yourself.

Just doing my part to make sure tourists spend their money elsewhere as this store denied entry to a disabled person in a wheelchair (my sister's friend) claiming that they would ruin merchandise with their chair. Just disgraceful and humiliating for the person involved. How sad. I will never shop here.

I would give them a -10 if it was possible since they dont like handicapped persons in their store. They should be forced to close down for kicking a handicappped person out. They dont want my friends money guess they dont deserve anybodies money ........ deplorable !!!!!!

Totally get that all store owners can set their own hours, but I came to this shop 40 minutes before they closed and arrived with the store locked up. Bummer because it looks like they have nice stuff inside.

Don't shop here. It sees like they discriminate against people in wheelchairs. I thought it is against the American with Disabilities Act 1990 to kick someone out becaise they are in a wheelchair.

Stopped here today, and was surprised that they had a selection of liquor. There were some really good finds for some rare bottles, or prices that are much better than other places. Yet there were some bottles that were definitely overly priced than it should be.

Nice place with some decent selection. When I inquired about the Sazarac Rye on the top shelf, I was told that the owner sits that aside and it was not for sale. There were other bottles up there, but thatsthebone that interested me. I find it highly disappointing when we hunt for hard to find things and find that Liquor Store owners hoard stock. I flagged this liquor store in my Private Group that hunts for rarities as one to avoid due to these practices. The sad part is they had some really good stuff on the shelf. When we find such things, we usually end up buying 5-6 bottles of other bourbon. However, we ended up leaving empty handed. I ranked 3 stars due to their selection on the shelf.

The store was packed pretty full, and most the labels that indicated the wine type/country were difficult to read. We were going to ask the employee working there for a recommendation but they were intent on their phone. We found something on our own that looked decent and it ended up tasting pretty great. Prices seemed mostly reasonable. Not sure I'd go back though.

Very helpful. Not pretentious. Has things hanging out on the shelf that you would have to order in when your in the twin cities. I will no longer suffer without a good bottle of bubbles while vacationing in Duluth.

Cool little shop, packed with things I don't get to see on the shelf where I am from. That said be sure to not read the labels on anything as you will be told swiftly not to touch that. Staff is always extremely pleasant and had some wonderful recommendations if you're not sure of what to get. Tons of wine choices so it's never easy to leave with just one bottle!

I got such an adorable sweater from my first visit to Liila Boutique and found it in less than 10 minutes! It's so soft and fits perfectly, and was even on sale. I love the interior of the store - It's so easy to look through and there are so many cute pieces. Also, affordable and high quality materials. I will definitely be back! ❤️

This boutique was so cute! Usually small clothing shops I visit are very expensive, but this was reasonable priced. Many cute trinkets like magnets and water bottles and notebooks. Lovely little shop with clothing, accessories and gifts. I purchased two sweaters that were well-priced; they are both so soft and flattering! The owner was present and was friendly and helpful. The shop used to be inside the Folk school next door.

I called to ask about Jellycats, and the lady who answered was so helpful! First of all, a real person answered the phone, not an automated system. She knew which plush they had in stock, and was helpful with other questions. We have visited this toy store over the years, and they always have a wide inventory of cool and unique toys, puzzles, and games. Most are very educational, and the store is organized by age category and interest, which makes it really nice for shopping. Visiting this place feels like a fun activity in itself, just for the experience!

I love this toy store! I can find a variety of items including puzzles, games and stuffed animals. I enjoy finding really unique trinkets that are always a hit at family parties.

I loved this place so many artists featured in this store. There's something for everyone. Books on local interests, greeting cards (mostly blank), art prints, sun catchers, kitchen items, jewelry, of course magnets, stationary items, and that's what I can remember of the top of my head--there's so much more. I could've spent a lot more time just looking at the art prints and digging in deeper with the full array of items offered in this shop. Stop in take a look around.

I always find the cutest gifts and decor here! Filled with art from local artists, this is my favorite store to shop when I’m in Duluth. The beautifully carved wooden trees, bowl warmers, handmade glass ornaments, mittens, and all of the artwork is so carefully curated (along with many more pieces). This is a must-visit if you’re in Canal and value handmade goods!

The staff is very welcoming and engaging, along with being helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed Tara Austin's art show and talk - learning about how she goes about creating her artworks: her inspiration; her process; use of techniques, etc. It was an enlightening and enjoyable experience.

Joseph Nease Gallery is an especially welcomed addition to the Duluth, Minnesota art scene. Always professionally presented, the gallery features premier exhibitions by recognized and emerging contemporary artists from throughout the country and locally as well. Artist gallery talks, informal tours, exhibition publications and related events enhance understanding of the artist's work in the context of a broad and complex spectrum of contemporary art.

Really impressive artwork made with and from unusual mediums! Some of the artwork combined science/technology with art which was pretty unique! A lot of the paintings were very intricate and trippy. The person there gave us a tour and explained the context behind the artwork, how it was made, and told us about the artists and their backgrounds. She was very nice and told us about future exhibitions and other art galleries to visit in the Duluth area. Would come again 😀

An inviting and airy space. Recently visited for Tara Austin's Boreal Ornament IV. Beautiful work, and the perfect gallery environment to take in large-scale abstract contemporary work like hers!

Excellent gallery, they've created a great space not only for viewing work but engaging with artists during their talks and openings. Highly recommended.

Nice trip! Took the Vista Star on the Grand Sightseeing Tour in Duluth. Learned some new facts about the harbor.

No tour at all, just overly cautious chaperones. Learned not one thing about the harbor and spent the sunrise paddle with our backs to the sunrise. Also were instructed to use our paddles incorrectly. It wasn't news to them we were semi-experienced SUPers (we have all been SUP on Superior in January) but were treated like we'd never been on one before. Any wave and the guides wanted to turn back. A little credit because the guides did appear to be new and also told us "they were looking forward to going back to sleep" once our tour was done. Was very bummed out as had heard great things about this company and their adventures. Would not go back and definitely not worth the money.

Please support this wonderful business. A group of 5, 70 year old's were headed out to kayak on the St. Louis River. Two forgot their paddles. Zenith was coming off the river with a group of 10 or more happy customers. They let us borrow 2 paddles and didn't know us from Adam. Trusted that we would bring them back and that we could enjoy our day. Great pair of guys and their equipment looked state of the art. Thanks again Zenith.
