Ice cream shop
The PortLand Malt Shoppe in Duluth is a classic ice cream parlor housed in a historic building with a view of Lake Superior. Originally a gas station from the 1920s, it exudes nostalgic charm and offers delicious malts, sundaes, and floats. While it's only open for the season, it's worth visiting for its renowned treats. Visitors can take their ice cream down to the Lakewalk and enjoy it by the water.
The ice cream here is top notch. Prices are reasonable for a tourist place. Costs range from $3 for a kids cone to $10 for a malt. I had a chocolate/ peanut butter/banana malt and it was delicious. The lines were long but they went fairly quick.
Josh L — Google review
The location of this place is excellent—you can grab your ice cream, walk down the stairs, and enjoy it by the lake. However, the long line was mainly due to the limited number of staff and slow service. The ice cream itself was quite average, lacking any distinctive flavor. The malt, in particular, was overly sweet and didn’t live up to the hype. Overall, I think this place is overrated
Nasim E — Google review
Looks are deceiving! This shake looked amazing but tasted horrific and artificial. We ordered a strawberry malt, and you would never have known it was strawberry except for the color. It was painfully sugary with a weird crunchy sugar texture that made it hard to drink. My husband and I are both ice cream lovers, and yet we couldn’t even finish it — we threw a $12 malt straight in the garbage. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.
Kaitlyn S — Google review
The Portland Malt Shop in Duluth had a huge line, but the experience was a bit mixed. We tried the pistachio and almond ice cream with coffee malt, which was good, and the mocha almond fudge with strawberry malt, which was overly sweet. The malt portions were large, but I’m not sure they were worth the wait or the price. However, the stunning view of Lake Superior behind the shop made it a nice spot to enjoy a malt.
Mahsa H — Google review
I've always seen this little spot, but it was never open when I was around, so when I saw this open by chance I turned my car around and found a parking spot asap. The employees are helpful and patient. The building is tiny and cute, and the Malts are THICK and delicious! Really, really good!😋 The scenery is beautiful, as behind the shoppe, is Lake Superior, and just to the right of the building is direct access to steps that connect to the Lake walk. So glad I finally got to come here, I'll be back, and I'd say it's definitely a spot to hit if you're visiting the area.🍨
Jamez — Google review
The gal recommended her favorite which was banana chocolate peanut butter to me and it was fabulous! My girlfriend got strawberry marshmallow which was also amazing, you can taste the real strawberries.
Clarissa M — Google review
Fantastic ice cream with lots of choices. Malts, shakes, cones, etc. The view is pretty awesome too.
Paul B — Google review
This place needs some efficiency training! 50 kids waiting on a hot day and over 45 minutes in line, while at least 3 of the 5 teenagers staff stand around inside….not worth the wait! Please reevaluate your ordering and delivery system to allow for kids and families to enjoy your ice cream!!!! We won’t be back.

Crank and Dasher is a boutique ice cream shop located in Fitgers Courtyard, offering a variety of unique flavors like Mango Butter Sorbet, Honey Lavender, and Coffee Chip. In addition to ice cream, they also offer treats such as creole spiced pecans, almond toffee, and nut brittle. Visitors can enjoy the scenic view of Canal Park while indulging in their delicious treats.
In my opinion, this place has better flavors (and price per pint) than Love Creamery, and it also doesn’t melt as fast as other ice creams. I got lavendar honey and anise. It’s so fragrant, it might as well be its own meal, and while it can get overpowering in large amounts, for me, it’s what I want from ice-cream.
Katarina K — Google review
They have seating inside and a few tables outside. About 16 different flavors. The option of getting a waffle cone is extra. You can get one scoop with two different flavors which is awesome as it's hard to choose one flavor and sometimes two scoops is too much. It's moderately priced.
James E — Google review
Good ice cream selections, Lake Walk & Lake Superior views, patio seating lakeside of Fitgers.
Scot E — Google review
My husband loves ice cream, so we had it at several places when we visited Duluth. Crank and Dasher’s was our favorite, hands down. In the picture, he got the mango lime sorbet and I had salted peanut butter brownie in a homemade waffle cone. SO GOOD.
Julie H — Google review
My wife tried the blueberry and goat cream flavor. I had the bourbon butter pecan. By far the best ice cream we have ever had. Hope to be back sometime soon.
Tim F — Google review
Wow! This place is the BEST. We had 3 incredible flavors. If you’re gonna splurge on ice cream, go for the custom made at Crank & Dasher. This place is the REAL DEAL!! Can’t wait to go home and still be able to buy it at Kowalskis. ❤️ Plus it’s ALWAYS better to support small business!!!
Sarah K — Google review
We were originally on our way to the malt shoppe when we saw the ice cream cones in the sidewalk. The kids were SO EXCITED to follow them. We ended up at crank and dasher and had a great experience. The ice cream was DELICIOUS and the atmosphere is great too! Lots of fun activities like sitting around the fire or drawing chalk/playing hopscotch. They also have a water/treat area for dogs! Eating ice cream with such a beautiful view was the perfect way to end our evening!
Nikkiann — Google review
As a Duluth resident, I was excited to finally play local tourist and try this boutique ice cream shop. Both the raspberry and mango sorbet hit the spot and were refreshing and very flavorful. We went back for a bonus cone to try the Anise and were delighted by the taste and texture. It was creamy without feeling heavy. Our group was very happy with the exceptional quality. Excited to make this a regular visit now that I know how good it is. Can’t beat the view to take a moment to enjoy Duluth at its best.

Ice cream shop
Love Creamery in Canal Park is the go-to spot for delicious homemade ice cream in Duluth. They offer a wide range of flavors, including traditional options like dark chocolate and mint chocolate chip, as well as unique creations such as vegan chai and vegan rocky road to cater to dietary requirements. The commitment to using local ingredients and sustainable practices has made Love Creamery a popular choice among locals.
Stumbled upon this adorable new ice cream spot while walking around the neighborhood, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with big smiles and ice-cold water (a total lifesaver on a hot day). The place feels super clean, fresh, and welcoming — you can tell the team takes pride in their shop. They’ve got plenty of seating, both inside and out, which makes it a perfect little hangout spot. Great for dates, families, or just a solo treat-yourself moment. Now, the important part: the ice cream. Absolutely delicious — super creamy, not overly sweet, and you can taste the quality in every bite. We went with the coffee bean, vanilla and salted caramel — they were hits. Also… be warned (in a good way) — the portion sizes are HUGE. I couldn’t finish mine, and that never happens. Extra points for the vibe — music playing softly, cute decor, and just a warm, friendly atmosphere. Feels like the kind of place that will become a regular neighborhood favorite real soon. Highly recommend swinging by if you’re nearby!

Love Creamery is a must-visit for ice cream lovers. They have an incredible variety of unique flavors, the Goat Cheese Honeycomb is a standout, perfectly creamy with sweet crunch, and the Salted Chocolate Brownie is just as amazing. They also offer plenty of vegan ice cream options with vegan toppings, plus homemade waffle cones and even ice cream flights, which are a fun way to sample it all. The shop itself is bright, clean, and welcoming, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. A Duluth gem that combines creativity, quality, and great service.
Chloe — Google review
We waited in line for a while, but once we reached the counter, it was nice to see that they offered samples of their flavors. They don't have the usual options like plain strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla, but the flavors they do have are really tasty. I ordered two scoops of the apple crisp, and I have to admit we couldn't resist and started eating before snapping a picture. It was delicious, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. The customer service was great too. There was a gal working there in a red shirt who wasn't even the one helping us, yet she still took the time to talk and ask where we were visiting from. I also really liked the décor; it added to the overall experience.
M G — Google review
We visited Love Creamery during a recent trip to Duluth and were not disappointed! Unique flavors, delicious ice cream, and friendly staff. We have an adventurous eater and a pickier eater, and everyone was able to find something they liked. The shop was very busy even on a cool, brisk afternoon, but the line moved quickly. Wish we lived closer so we could try more of their interesting flavor offerings! We will definitely be back when we are in Duluth again!
Lauren B — Google review
So insanely good - highly recommend getting a flight. Easy to share between two or three people. We got a flight with: * Salted Caramel (gf) and fall 2025 seasonal flavors: * London Fog (gf) * Chokeberry Chip (gf) * Cinnamon Snickerdoodle (gf) * Apple Crisp (gf) * Goatcheese Honeycomb (gf) Our favorite was the goat cheese honeycomb hands down (sweet but a lil savory) So insanely tasty! Second fav was London Fog which tasted JUST LIKE the drink! All the other flavors were good too, just hqrd to compete with how exceptional those two were. Staff were efficient and professional - line moves quicker than you’d think!
Codie B — Google review
Flavors and textures. Can't complain. Salted caramel and dark chocolate would be my top 2 out of the 6 I had. Ordering the flight, i expected a sampler portion. And not a feast 😅. Also when they say you can sample to pick your flavors. They are not kidding. They will let you try them all if you must. (Be warned)🤣

Friendly. First time visit to this location in Duluth. Late night snack. Didn’t realize they closed at 9pm. Staff gave no indication it was closing time which was very nice. My waffle cone had chocolate at the bottom which is a great bonus. Enjoyed the Butter Toffee and a scoop of Pistachio.

Amazing ice cream and fun interior! There are so many great flavors to choose from. My favorite place to visit when in Duluth 🫶

Restaurant
Bridgeman's in Duluth, MN is a beloved local spot with a vintage charm, serving up classic diner fare and creative ice cream. Established in 1883, it has a rich history dating back to Henry Bridgeman's dairy company. The restaurant offers an all-day breakfast menu featuring favorites like omelets, waffles, and their signature Skizzles – hashbrowns topped with various breakfast ingredients.
A retro modern local dinner with amazing food and treats! Especially loved the cinnamon roll pancakes and fun mega malts! If you love their ice cream you’ll love their food too!
Brent H — Google review
It was 3:30pm on avSunday and we were starving when we found ourselves in the parking lot of Bridgeman's. It was perfect for our first visit as there was no wait and we were quickly ushered to a table. It was a tight fit for my wheelchair, but everyone was very accommodating. Service was exceptional. Most of the servers were young, college age and really went above and beyond for the diners. I ordered the Reuban with a side salad. The side salad was excellent. The Reuben was good, but not anything special. My husband ordered the Greek Omlet which was outstanding and a huge plate of food. We also enjoyed a side order of onion rings which were thick and delicious and a large size, perfect for sharing. The entrance to the restaurant is tight for wheelchairs to maneuver, you definitely need assistance with the doors to get in and out. Love the little merchandise corner up front featuring local goodies. We can't wait to go again and try something new.
Jo J — Google review
What a (re)find! We had a Bridgeman's in Brooklyn Center for years and were frequent customers. When they closed, there were none in the area. Fast forward 40 years and to our extreme delight, we found one listed in Duluth! Since we go Lake Superior every year for my Mom's birthday, we decided to give this restaurant a go. It was AMAZING! The service was spectacular, the ambiance was delightful, the food was DELICIOUS ,and you can't beat a cherry nut ice cream cone! Can't wait for our next visit!
Kristin T — Google review
I tried the “Greek” omelette. It was very good. Large enough for 2 people. The service was excellent and fast. I arrived at 7:55 on a Saturday and there was a line outside waiting. But none the less the staff inside were prepared and efficient. Well worth the trip.
David H — Google review
Super great spot for breakfast! I got the Mall Bridgeman’s breakfast. Service was fast and friendly and their homemade strawberry jam is delicious. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a good place to eat.
Hannah M — Google review
We've been coming here for years and make it a point to stop in every time we're in Duluth. The food is always good, the service is always nice and who doesn't like ice cream after breakfast? I was surprised that they're closed on Sundays now when we came up last time, so we had to find another breakfast spot. But we made sure to stop in on Saturday this time around. The prices have gone up like almost all restaurants, but thankfully the food and service has stayed good. It does get very busy and cramped on weekends, which some people don't like, but I look at that as it's popular for a reason.
Cody T — Google review
A local favorite of ours when we come to Duluth. We always go for the breakfast anytime of day! He got the Ron Swanson and I the Tizzel Sizzel. 10/10 staff is always great and the ambiance is like a vintage diner. The food is always good. Love love love the fresh strawberry jam. We tried the smores malt today and it was so good as well.
Samanthia W — Google review
Was not expecting it to be as busy as it was for a Monday at noon but we were seated pretty fast the food was amazing! My husband ordered the breakfast Burrito not expecting to be pretty spicy so just a heads up if your order that. It also comes with avocado on top. It smelled amazing though. I ordered the Greek skillet which was 😙🤌 chefs kiss! As busy as it was I was surprised at the fact that our waiter was able to check in on us multiple times. We mostly went to see if they had the lalapalooza icecream boat challenge, but they don't do it anymore sadly. They did have some pretty incredible looking milkshakes for approximately 16$ each. Gonna definitely have to come to give those a try. Added pictures of them to see.

The King of Creams is a family-run burger restaurant situated on Duluth Hillside. They offer burgers, cheesesteaks and fries in an informal setting. Hospital staff and visitors alike frequent the establishment for a quick bite to eat. The food is made individually so that you can talk to everyone while you're waiting for your order.
Our go-to burger place in Duluth and it never disappoints. Their hamburgers are made fresh to order and are made with quality ingredients. Their ice cream and shakes are the best and the strawberry milkshake is hard to beat. Love the French fries and onion rings too. Just simple, good food served quickly in a nice clean environment.

Every time we visit Duluth, we make a point of stopping at King of Creams. The food is great burger-joint fare, and the service is always pleasant. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the mood for a great 100% grass fed burger and a delicious Sprecher root beer.
Margaret R — Google review
My husband and I were visiting Duluth just for a weekend getaway and we were looking for somewhere to go for ice cream. We found this place and decided to go there. When we walked in the door we were greeted by two gentlemen that were working there. We were able to look at the ice cream that they had and pick out what we wanted and then they told us to you have a seat and they would bring it out to us when it was. They're serving sizes are more than generous and their prices are very very reasonable. It's located in a very easily accessible area and the inside is set up very cute. You should check out their food menu as well. We didn't eat any of the food there. We just had ice cream but the food that we saw when we were there definitely look like it was delicious. You owe it to yourself to give them a try if you're ever in Duluth visiting.
Jami T — Google review
First off, I love the food here, but what I watched tonight was a terrible combination of lack of training, or care if this guy is trained. I have worked in restaurants for 8 years, and have been Serve Safe certified, and I know mistakes happen, but this didn't seem like a mistake. I placed my order at about 6:40 PM. The bill was about average for going out these days. The young man in the glasses was very patient and polite while taking our order. The food was great, as usual, no complaints there(yet, you'll see why). What got me is the horrible cross contamination between raw beef, buns, and handles of spatulas and shakers. The guy on the left in the picture, with the curly brown hair, only changed his right hand glove at 7:10 PM. He still had put down almost a dozen raw beef patties and a cheesesteak set, then touched all the seasoning handles, then the spatulas, then THE BUNS, then the papers the finished product goes on. He then went and WIPED THE GLOVED HANDS on a cloth rag, that hadn't been dunked in a sanitation bucket in the entire time I have been in here. He even put together the finished toppings before changing the one glove, while leaving the other still on, still contaminated. Then, while our food is being made, the young woman on the right with the grey hat comes out and says loudly "People really need to start tipping!" I have always been told "Tips are appreciated, but never expected." This made most people waiting cringe a little, as all of our bills were extremely expensive, and I assume we all tipped what we could. This needs fo change before I come back. The food is great, but this was enough for me to write a review.
Dale P — Google review
Unfortunately, a pretty awful burger. Way over cooked and incredibly salty. The bun was good, but the meat was difficult to fathom for such a highly rated joint. Fried pickles should have been drained before putting in the basket, just swimming in grease. Chicken wrap was fine. Good service, but probably won't be back for the food. That's too bad, because it has a great menu
Zkm000 — Google review
Couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant after a week up north. 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon looking for a burger. Walked in, great antmosphere, and the staff was attentive. Burger was everything, I had to give props to homie on the grill. Fries were 10/10. Nice gal sent us off with sundaes. Overall, awesome experience.
Christian A — Google review
We ordered online from Toast, and picked up inside. The staff was friendly, the food was ready early, and if you're quick and lucky, the parking is "free". Had fries, cheese curds, and a mushroom burger. The fries are potatoey, oily, salty, and overall fantastic. The curds are foamy, square and fantastic. The mushroom burger is a fried mushroom with a pretty great sauce, and I liked it. Honestly thought it was an actual BURGER when I was ordering so I'm jonesing for some meat, but I'll be ok. I wish they wouldn't staple the bags... The staples can stick out and cut ya pretty good. Sauces are extra, which sucks. Overall, I would eat here again.

Was greeted immediately by friendly and helpful employee. Ordered a burger and cheese curds. It was cooked right away and everything was as requested. Food was delicious. Service was great. Price was in the range I had anticipated.

Grandma's Ice Cream Boxcar is a dessert spot located in Canal Park, Duluth, MN. Despite some confusion about its opening hours, it offers delicious ice cream with generous portions at reasonable prices. The staff efficiently handles busy periods, making it a great place for families with kids. While the ice cream is highly praised, some visitors suggest that the establishment could improve on its variety of flavors. Overall, it's a popular stop for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth while exploring the area.
The kids cones were huge!!! Ice cream was delicious. And the price can't be beat!
Yvonne S — Google review
So I'm giving this a four because the ice cream is good but THE HOURS are not 24. From the person running the register "We open at noon and then I think we close at 8 but depending on how busy it is we might be open longer. We really don't have a close time." I asked this on a Saturday so with that in mind enjoy! I added two photos of single scoops one in cone and one in cup. The kids cup is one scoop of ice cream.
Mr T — Google review
If you just want ice cream, then ignore the bad reviews. The flavors are fun and tasty, portions are large (the single scoop is like a double!), and the service moves quick. Lemon bar flavor is my favorite
Aberrant A — Google review
Ice cream was average. The employees were rude. On their phones when paying customers were waiting, counting tips in front of us and gossiping to each other. Someone spilled ice cream and the employees saw and immediately went back on their phones while customers were stepping in it and it was attracting bugs. Just gross. Make you customers want to be there.

Turning down money, turns out to be a bad business practice. Along with 4th of July tiredness 😩/ laziness. Serving every other customer warm food? Ice cream to the rest? Your college tip jar will most certainly not be full.

The French toast was so good! The atmosphere was so cute on the cafe side! Light and airy and very cutesy. We were sat on the bar side and it was also cute just kind of a darker aesthetic! Our server was very nice and you could tell she loved her job! She was very insightful about menu items and helped some of my friends decide what to order!

Amazing atmosphere, great food, great service, reasonable prices! What more can you ask! We went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning and there was like a 5 min wait for the patio (we had a dog with us). The service was awesome! And the food was just as good! I got the pancake and my wife got the eggs florantine( I think) and it was just what we were looking for!
Jeremiah P — Google review
Visiting Duluth, eat like a local here. It’s locally owned, an eclectic atmosphere with outstanding service and food. The homemade cherry Danish was flaky and buttery. Two of us shared the Cowboy Hash. It was flavorful with tender chunks of brisket with a delightful Harissa sauce. So good! You will love it here.
Suzanne D — Google review
Cowboy hash was delicious. The brisket in it was awesome, I only wish the eggs were less hard. The bread and jam really were a surprising treat too. We did have to wait about 20 minutes but you can order a coffee while you wait or sit at the bar or outside. I love the ambience - the bookshelves and big cozy booths especially. The Bloody Mary came with a good bent paddle chaser although there was no cheese/meat on the skewer (you could pay a whopping three extra dollars for a single slice of bacon added). The prices were the real downside here. At least on the breakfast front it seemed like a comparable restaurant would charge a few bucks less for a similar dish.
Sydney K — Google review
Probably my favorite breakfast in Duluth. Very fun options with all locally sourced ingredients. It's always pretty busy, but they keep things moving really well. The biscuit and berries is incredible. If you like a biscuit please get it. The Benedict with the wild rice sausage patties is one of the best breakfasts you can have. Service is always really good and quick. Come here if you have the chance!
Ben G — Google review
Cozy space with a view from the patio down to the lake. Came for a late weekday lunch with hopes of enjoying breakfast and coffee. Enjoyed the Cowboy Hash with a Honey Bee Latte. Finished off with a brown butter chocolate chip cookie. Felt like elevated comfort food - lovely, relaxed meal on a quiet patio. Kelly was attentive and engaged as a server. Inside, I loved the wrap around bookshelves offering used books, what a fun idea for the space. Would definitely return for breakfast or lunch!
Ryan W — Google review
What a true farm to table restaurant with a unique and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers plenty of variety and options as well as drinks. I tried their curry which was my favorite, my boyfriend tried Korean barbecue chicken sandwich with their truffle fries. For our dessert we had their peanut butter mocha which was delicious.
Clarissa M — Google review
Phenomenal food. I had the chicken curry and my wife had the bison and wild rice polenta. Both dishes were gluten free. Great list of coffee and teas. The wine pairings were spot on. Cannot wait to go back again.

Love Creamery Lincoln Park is a beloved local ice cream shop that prides itself on using high-quality, real ingredients to create small, hand-made batches of refreshing flavors. With two locations in Canal Park and Lincoln Park, it's a convenient stop for anyone exploring the town. Customers rave about the fantastic and unique flavors like Buttermilk Vanilla, Chai, Cookie Butter, Salted Caramel, Rosemary, Turmeric Honey, and Vegan Strawberry Rhubarb.
Every single time I come here I am just so amazed by the workers! They are incredibly nice and it’s definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back!!! The ice cream is number 1 reason, their flavors are so unique! They share the flavors on all of their socials so it’s easy to know what to expect flavor wise. They also post cute and clever videos that shows just how great the owners are. They know what they wanted to achieve and they achieved well beyond that. Love it here so much. The canal park location is also super great!

Love Creamery is always a must-visit every time I’m in town! Every ice cream flavor I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Their waffle cones are crunchy, flavorful, and I’m pretty sure there’s a bit of chocolate at the bottom—which is such a fun touch! I’ve enjoyed everything from their ice cream flights to full bowls, and the quality is always top-notch. On our most recent visit, we had our puppy with us and he got a little treat too—he loved it! Love Creamery is a fun, welcoming spot for a tasty treat, and it's wonderfully pet-friendly. Highly recommend!
Taryn P — Google review
The ice cream was incredible and the pup cup was so cute! While the staff was really kind and clearly working super hard, I do think the business has some work to do on figuring out how to handle large crowds quickly. Friday and Saturday night in July, the line was out the door, and it doesn't move very fast. I want to reiterate how hard the staff was working, though! Thanks for some of the best ice cream I've had in the states!
Rebekah J — Google review
I can't believe how phenomenal the Goat Cheese and Honeycomb flavor is!! 🍦 This place was poppin' when I visited, but for good reason, the place is awesome. I definitely recommend the flight, so you can try 6 different flavors. You can even get your coffee drinks such as a latte here. ☕ I've been to quite a few different ice cream shops, but this one has been by far the best. Definitely one of the coolest places Duluth has to offer.
Jamez — Google review
Absolutely go with the ice cream flight and try a little of 6 different flavors. Small batch ice creams were all delicious!! Highly recommend a visit here.

I have been coming to Love Creamery for years! I've since moved from Duluth, but every time I'm in town, I try to stop by for the Dark Chocolate. They always have unique and incredible flavors (getting a flight of different flavors with a friend is a great idea), but the dark chocolate truly sticks with me. Both locations are always great, with the best staff. Long live love creamery

We hired Love Creamery for our wedding and it was a huge hit! Everyone raved about the flavors, especially the Goat Cheese & Honeycomb!

Nestled in the vibrant Lincoln Park District, 190 Coffee and Tea is a delightful gem that has quickly made its mark on Duluth's coffee scene since opening in 2021. Founded by local enthusiast Corey Roysdown, this charming café occupies a cozy spot within the Enger Lofts building, just across from Bent Paddle taproom. The interior boasts an inviting blend of exposed brick and hardwood accents, adorned with art from talented local artists.
190 is one of my favorite coffee shops in town for so many reasons! The staff is welcoming and fun, knowledgeable about coffee and takes their time explaining questions you have! The coffee itself is fabulous! If you enjoy cold brew, this is your place!!!! The atmosphere and aesthetic feels good too! It’s a great place to bring your laptop and work or meet up with a friend! I definitely recommend this to everyone!
Madeline A — Google review
What a cool shop. Great atmosphere, and absolutely superb coffee. I tried a few varieties of their pour-over. The Kenya and Tanzania were lovely. We brought some of the Tanzanian beans home.
Daniel S — Google review
190 Degrees is such a gem of a coffee shop. The space has amazing vibes: modern, full of plants, and flooded with light from big windows. They also feature lots of cute local items for sale, which adds to the charm. The coffee is excellent, especially with their house-made syrups, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A spot that feels both stylish and inviting, definitely worth checking out.
Chloe — Google review
This place exceeded my expectations! The employees es were so sweet and helpful - all of them went out of their way to recommend other local shops in the area when I was inquiring - when I first walked in, the vibes were incredible, beautifully designed and the spacing of the interior design was very welcoming! Thank you for a wonderful time!
Sage H — Google review
I originally was headed to Duluth Folk School to get some work done for the day but they were closed at 3 pm, so me ending up at 190 was truly a happy accident, as Bob Ross says. Little did I know it would be such a delight! It was a perfect place to work and chill, with plenty of outlets, and places to sit to enjoy the vibes + beautiful summer weather with the windows open. Jake (a barista of 11 years, and it shows!) and Evan were an absolute treat to engage with and I throughly enjoyed my time there. The coffee wasn’t so bad either 😉
Devin J — Google review
My wife and I got a mocha and pumpkin spice latte. Their latte art and is good and tastes really good as well. Fun spot to hit up if you’re in the Duluth area.
Brock B — Google review
It was absolutely beautiful aesthetically. Great coffee. Friendly staff! Also great place to check out unique artists work! Would definitely recommend and will return. Came out from Manitoba Canada.
Sarah B — Google review
Wonderful coffee shop!!! This is my absolute FAVORITE cafe ANYWHERE! I live in the cities and I've made the 2-4 hour trip up here 4 times now just to come to this cafe and enjoy the scenery!! The drinks they offer here are super delicious, but the staff is the best part! They're so kind and fun! They have a social media account that they run where they post all of their community stuff and it seems so fun. I would absolutely love to be a regular here and will be once I move to Duluth in several years haha! This place is always so clean and aesthetically pleasing. Cozy and fun. Their garage door is open during warmer weather and its so nice. The cafe is located in a shopping strip so there are bathrooms right next to the cafe that are super clean and nice! I couldn't say enough good things about this place because of how great it is. My list goes on forever.

Burnett Dairy Duluth Cheese Store is a charming spot offering a variety of delectable treats such as pizza, fried curds, ice cream, wine, beer & spirits. The store also features a gift shop and more. Visitors can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating while indulging in their delicious offerings. It's conveniently located near the Munger Trail, making it an ideal stop for bikers and runners looking for a break. Customers have praised the store's cleanliness, organization, and friendly staff.
This takes ALLLLLL the google stars. We drove by this lovely gem after a morning hike, needing a lunch break. It looked pretty new from the outside - only to find out it’s like seriously new new as in less than 3 months new! You’ll find lots of dairy goodness as one should expect from a dairy store - meats, cheeses, sauces, dips, jams, kitchen accessories, gifts, snacks, chocolates, etc! You’ll also find a good variety of made to order pizzas and appetizers along with over 2 dozen ice creams. Lots of cheese samples were available. There’s nothing I dislike about Burnett Dairy, except for the fact that I don’t live close enough. There’s plenty of seating available. It’s a well designed, naturally bright, open space that invites you in to browse, eat and shop. So glad our curiosity had us stop in to check it out. I’ll definitely be back for more pizza and ice cream!

Such a cute place! Mother in-law and I stopped here because of a gift card she got in a raffle. We loved it there! Tried a latte and we were very surprised at how good it was! New spot for coffee for sure.

Burnett Dairy Duluth offers delicious food in a sharp looking shop. We enjoyed a cheesy lunch (refreshing Munger Hunger pizza, sriracha cheese curds, fried ravioli, and cream cheese wontons with a great sweet chili sauce) plus Cedar Crest ice cream. Afterwards, we hit the shop for tasty treats (peach butter, summer sausage, spiced peaches) to take home.

Love this new place, close to my house. Clean, new and well organized place. Pizza was really good (my husband has high standards of pizza..) and we will definitely go back!! Also they have variety of ice cream.
JIEUN K — Google review
Wonderful place with friendly people! Lots of different products including cheese, salsas, ready to bake pizzas, and a small deli. I had the coconut cone with caramel collision ice cream. Lots of caramel flavor with chunks of chocolate.
Eldgeth — Google review
I came here for pizza for the first time today and “oooh’d and ahhh’d” at all the things you could also buy here while I waited for my pizza. The main things that caught my eye was the ice cream by the scoop, tons of canned pickled veggies, a variety of caramel corn, jellies, sauces, cured meats and the cheese of course! I only did a quick look at their cheese selection as the store was fairly busy. However, they had this blueberry white cheddar cheese that caught my eye. This was quite the interesting combo, but I feel like it might’ve been quite tasty. I’m sure if I had come here without a care in the world, I would’ve left with a full basket of goodies. As far as the pizza goes, I went with the “That’s What Cheese Said” pizza to get a baseline. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. Although, it could've cooked maybe just a tad bit longer. I noticed they start with a frozen crust so I didn’t get my hopes too high, but it actually cooked fairly well and formed a nice outer crust. I imagine this probably just helps with ticket times, consistency and a quicker onboarding process. The bottom of the pizza also had a nice char to it from their stone pizza oven but it was just a tad bit doughy. Even though it wasn’t the best crust I have ever had, it still got the job done. The real star of the show here though was their Patria mozzarella. The cheese pull first of all was insane and since I ordered a standard cheese pie, it allowed the cheese to really shine. The folks over in Wisconsin really know how to make a tasty low moisture mozzarella. If I had to categorize this pizza, I would say it is like an upscale Dominos pizza. They are close to making this pizza at the best they can possibly make it for this style. At the price of roughly $18 for a 12” cheese pie after tax, it’s priced fairly and it is using better ingredients than you would get at most chain pizza joints. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was great since I was able to enjoy my pizza on such a beautiful sunny day. I see myself probably coming back here in the future to browse their retail section again, and I would say this was a great addition to the area!
CJ — Google review
Had pizza here a while back, it was good. Had some ice cream today. It’s the best ice cream I have ever eaten! The caramel collision was crazy good!

Camp Creemee is a delightful soft-serve ice cream spot located within Wild State Cider in Lincoln Park, offering Vermont-style treats sweetened with maple syrup or infused with fresh strawberries. The bright and open taproom provides the perfect setting to enjoy towers of luscious ice cream served in freshly made waffle cones. Visitors can pair their creamy delights with the raspberry hibiscus cider for a refreshing combination.
As an ice cream lover, I can say that the salted maple syrup ice cream was absolutely delicious.
Sara A — Google review
I looooove ice cream, and the salted maple here was somewhat lacking in flavor (I make my own maple syrup and my own ice cream). However, the cider I got was great and the atmosphere was good for everyone.
Brent M — Google review
Wonderful delicious thick ice cream. I got a maple and gingerbread swirl in a waffle cone for a special occasion. Super sweet lots of sugar would recommend if you’re ready for it.
Lauren L — Google review
Extremely high quality and delicious ice cream. I knocked a star off because the sizing is inconsistent and I never know how much ice cream I’m ordering. Sometimes it’s huge, other times it’s tiny and you never know what you’re going to get! Best flavors are the classic maple and chocolate (when they have it...there’s only 2 flavors at a time!).
Caitlin Z — Google review
One of my favorite treats in Minnesota. Located in a cool area in Duluth in a cider company. The flavors are excellent, a delicious vanilla soft serve with creamy texture and the right amount of sweet. I live in the cities and my husband and I discuss Camp Creemee legit every other month....they made an impact. Please franchise in Minneapolis. I need it.
Kathryn L — Google review
I like to give good reviews, however I can't for this place. The ice cream was delicious, however the serices was ridiculous. What happened to service these days? It's interesting how when you pay with a credit card you are asked to tip ( for good or great service) before service is even delivered. I wish I didn't tip as much because service was horrible.
Ed L — Google review
A great place to have some Cider, and was surprised they also had Soft Serve ice cream. The ice cream flavor selection was limited but tasted great. A great place to stop for any occasion. Lots of seating indoor and out. Great service. I would definitely come back.

Chilly Billy's Frozen Yogurt is a popular spot in Duluth, Minnesota, known for its delicious frozen yogurt desserts. The place is well-maintained and offers a variety of condiments and fresh fruit toppings. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, with mentions of Maddy and Ella providing excellent service. Visitors recommend trying out the sweet treats at Chilly Billy's, especially after a shopping spree in the area. Aaron is also praised for his professional and efficient service at the establishment.
My daughter loves Chilly Billy's but I’m too skeptical to enjoy “help yourself” food, especially if it’s not super clean. This time I was pleasantly surprised to see the place was spotless with the bins brimming with condiments and fresh fruit. Maddy was the smiling magician behind the counter keeping everything full and clean. I really appreciate her hard work because this time I felt comfortable enough to join my daughter in a big cup of deliciousness. Thank you Maddy -we’ll be back! ☺️

I was brining my little sister shopping at the mall, she really wanted to go to ulta for some drunk elephant. She then begged me for a sweet treat at chilly billys. I was hopeful my favorite employee would be there that I saw frequently. Unfortunately I was saddened that Ella was not there. I’m hopeful the next time I go for a sweet treat Ella will be there.
