Andhra restaurant
Biryani restaurant
Non vegetarian restaurant
Hotel RRR Mysore is a popular spot known for its Andhra-style starters and biryani, which are on the spicier side. The menu is brief, offering mutton or chicken biryani served with flavorful gravies. This traditional Andhra eatery stands out as the only restaurant in Mysore serving non-vegetarian dishes on banana leaves. It's advisable to make reservations due to the long queues during lunchtime.
Best Biryani in Mysore – A Non-Veg Lover’s Paradise! Hotel RRR is a legendary spot for non-veg food in Mysore, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. I tried their chicken and mutton biryani — both were incredibly flavorful with perfectly cooked, tender meat and aromatic rice. The spice levels were just right, and the portions were generous. The place can get crowded, especially during lunch hours, but the service is fast and the food is totally worth the wait. If you’re a biryani lover visiting Mysore, don’t miss this place!
Sanjith S — Google review
The best place in Mysore for biryani lovers! Their chicken biryani is incredibly flavorful – perfectly cooked rice with tender, juicy chicken pieces that are infused with rich spices. The aroma itself is enough to make your mouth water. What really impressed me was their mutton biryani – the mutton was cooked to perfection, soft and falling off the bone, blending beautifully with the long-grain rice and balanced spices. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and take their time to get the seasoning just right. The portion sizes are generous, the ambience is warm, and the service is friendly and quick. If you’re looking for authentic, well-balanced flavors without oily heaviness, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for true biryani fans!
Sandeep O — Google review
We had a great experience in Hotel RRR Mysore. We tried Andhra style Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani as well. Both were delicious. Soft and ghee infused rice flavoured with subtle spices and meat that melts in your mouth. We also tried Chicken Roast, that has a unique flavor. Not sure what but tasted amazing. It goes well with Biryani rice. The place was nice and crowded. We literally stood in queue for 10-15 minutes just to get a table. Only thing that bothered me was the dinning space. It has created a reputation and the business is going pretty well but the dinning space is so small for the crazy crowd.

*"A Taste of Perfection!"* I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel RRR and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a fantastic meal. The food was truly exceptional! Each dish was expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that exploded with flavor. The presentation was stunning, and the portions were generous.
Rafael J — Google review
The much hyped RRR we tried today for lunch and I must say it did stand up to it. We orderes mutton biryani, chicken biryani and chicken roast. Mutton biryani was great, rice had soaked in all that flavour and with the salan, was just superb. The Mutton pieces were enough for one but the pieces I got was not that great but biryani was satisfying. Its not as spicy and masala like hyderabadi biryani. Nor too bland like malabari biryani. I would prefer Mutton biryani over chicken. Now the chicken roast was also really damn good. Their masala is different and tasty, not like ones you might find in other places. The bad part is the pricing. There is nothing below 250 in this place. Even veg meals is 250ish on par with non veg biryani and this is somehow not logical. They are looting in the name they have earned. Somewhere i feel its not right. The demand is high and I think things wouldn't change. However the food is good so letting it pass. I would come here again but not in my immediate next trip because of the rates. They can improve the wait outside the shop, the que is not organised. They can probably keep a person out and note the names in order to make it fair and avoid people fighting for spot.
Sharon S — Google review
Unfortunately this place is very overrated. The queue here is huge, the service is bad and people working here don't treat you like their guests. The food is okayish, I've had better food in mysuru. The biryani was already over when we went for lunch which was around 12pm. So with no other choice we had veg meals and non veg side dishes. The mutton roast was good but other than that everything else was very average. The food is not worth the money.

This one review is all you need guys, i have heard about this place few times and i decided to travel mysore only to see whats going on here, honest opinion the place was super super crowded and people need to wait for a long time until the people inside finish their food, now there is parking split there do not park in car area as someone is locking the bikes and scooter of many ppl, there is a bike parking on the right side, now the menu : if you think you going to deep dive and explore this restaurant then you will be disappointed as they have barely a menu to choose from its like the QSR type i can say like only 10 items or 15 items on list , now on the food that is all matters : trust me andhra ver meals is superb like it hits exactly how you feel authentic with banana leaf, now i took chicken biriyani too and mutton fry , the biryani is felt like have a biriyani at KR Market Bangalore, if mysore have no option on biriyani then this place is go to place but if there are other then please explore, Biriyani overrated and not good but veg meals are authentic and amazing and on service part they treat very well and good people and on the cost i say little pricy but if you planning to go then you should have already plotted the budget, 2 person 800-1000rs

Authentic Taste of Mysore! Hotel RRR is truly a gem for anyone who loves authentic South Indian food. The moment you walk in, you can feel the aroma of freshly prepared dishes that instantly make you hungry! The meals are served traditionally on banana leaves, and every dish — from the flavorful biryani to the spicy curries and crisp papad — is full of authentic taste and freshness. The place is always buzzing with happy diners, which speaks for its popularity and quality. Service is quick, polite, and efficient even during rush hours. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and taste you get. If you’re in Mysore and want to experience real South Indian flavors in a simple yet vibrant setting, Hotel RRR is a must-visit. You’ll leave with a full heart and an even fuller stomach

Old Original Hotel Vinayaka Mylari since 1938 is a legendary eatery in Mysore, known for serving the iconic Mysore masala dosa with precision and care. Despite its small size, this bustling establishment on Nazarbad Main Road is a must-visit for those seeking the best places to eat in Mysore. The restaurant's humble ambiance adds to its charm, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
No visit to the heritage city of Mysore is complete without experiencing the legendary Mylari Dosa. After hearing and watching countless reviews, we finally got our chance, and it completely lived up to the hype! This iconic establishment, with its wonderfully simple menu centered around Idli and its signature dosa, proves that less is truly more. The Mylari Dosa is not your typical crispy crepe; it is famously known for its unique, buttery, "cotton-soft" texture that practically melts in your mouth. You’ll find yourself galloping down plate after plate, constantly craving "just one more." A Taste of History: Mylari has been serving this culinary masterpiece for over 85 years, since 1938. The original recipe, passed down through generations, is what gives the dosa its fluffy texture and distinct flavor, often cooked on a massive iron tawa over a wood fire and served with a dollop of white butter and a simple, flavorful coconut chutney (no sambar!). The Craze is Real: The popularity is massive! Especially on weekend mornings, expect a truly "serpentine queue" as the crowd swells up—a testament to its unmatched reputation. Finding parking can be a challenge, but the payoff is worth the wait. The buzz is that this legendary taste might soon be making its way to Bengaluru, with rumors of new spots opening in popular areas like JP Nagar and Indiranagar. This is one simple, historic, and unforgettable South Indian breakfast you absolutely must have!

Note: waiting Time is High . Hotel Original Vinayaka Mylari is a must-visit spot in Mysore for anyone who loves traditional South Indian food. Their famous soft Mylari dosas are simply unbeatable — fluffy, buttery, and full of flavor. The chutney and the special butter they serve make it even better. The place has a simple, old-style charm, and you can really feel the heritage in every bite. Service is quick, the staff is humble, and prices are very reasonable. It’s a small place, so expect a short wait during peak hours, but totally worth it!

Delicious Mylari Dosa Worth the Wait! I recently visited Old Vinayaka Mylari Restaurant with a group of six, and I must say, it was an amazing culinary experience! Ambiance Location: The restaurant has a simple yet inviting ambiance that reflects its long-standing popularity. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, it’s a well-known spot for locals and tourists alike. Wait Time: We arrived around 8:30 PM, and to our surprise, the place was packed! There was no seating available, so we had to wait for about 25 minutes. While waiting can be frustrating, it was a testament to how beloved this place is. The anticipation only made the meal more exciting! Food: Once we got seated, we wasted no time ordering the famous Mylari dosa. Priced at just Rs. 60 per dosa, it was an absolute steal! The dosas were served hot and fresh, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. The taste was simply amazing—perfectly spiced and incredibly flavorful. It’s no wonder this dish is so popular! Service: The staff was friendly and efficient, managing the busy crowd with ease. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived in a reasonable time, even with the restaurant being full. Overall Experience: If you're in Mysore and looking for authentic South Indian cuisine, especially the Mylari dosa, I highly recommend Old Vinayaka Mylari Restaurant. The taste, combined with the vibrant atmosphere and reasonable prices, makes it a must-visit spot. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak hours—it’s well worth it!

🥞 Vinayaka Mylari – Dosa, the Legendary Way! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) 📍 For the love of buttery dosas, since 1938! ⸻ 👀 Caption: “One dosa. One recipe. 85+ years of magic. ✨🧈 #MysoreEats #DosaLove” ⸻ 📝 Review: If you’re in Mysore and love a good dosa, Vinayaka Mylari is a must-visit! This humble eatery has been serving the same iconic dosa recipe since 1938, and they proudly stick to their roots! 💯 🍽️ Simple Yet Legendary They serve just one type of dosa – but it’s the kind that leaves a lasting impression: • Soft, fluffy dosa 🥞 • Mild and flavorful potato masala 🥔 • A generous slice of butter on top 🧈 Served with a side of coconut chutney – which is simple and average in taste, but it complements the dosa perfectly. 🌴✨ 🕰️ A Taste of Tradition The experience is old-school, minimalist, and filled with nostalgic charm. It’s not about luxury here – it’s about legacy and flavor. 👥 Crowd & Seating Info This spot is very popular, especially on weekends and holidays. We visited on a weekday, and even then, waited around 15–20 minutes. • Seating is limited on the ground floor, but they do have a small second-floor seating area as well. Still, don’t expect too much space – it’s a quick-eat kind of place. 🪑⬆️ ⸻ ✅ What We Loved: • Iconic, buttery dosa with timeless flavor • Authentic taste unchanged since 1938 • Affordable and fast once seated • Coconut chutney that complements well ❌ What Could Be Better: • Very limited seating • Long wait times during peak hours • Only one item on the menu • Chutney could be improved slightly ⸻ 🔚 Final Verdict: Vinayaka Mylari delivers a one-dosa wonder that speaks volumes. Simple, soft, and packed with history – this is a dish (and place) every dosa lover should experience at least once. 🧈❤️

Vinayak mylari dosa. Location > nazarbad. Mysore. There are two hotels with same name in same road, one is old ones and another is new ones with seating of around 40 to 50 people's. FOOD > Yu will get only one item in this hotel that is DOSA. Plain dosa and masala dosa . 60₹ excluding gst. TASTE> Yu will not get this type of dosa anywhere else. The dosa is too soft it will melt in your mouth. WAITING TIME> weekends yu have to wait for some time . The main customers here are the tourists. A must visit place in mysore for having dosa.
Pratik S — Google review
If you come with lot of expectations, expectation hurts.. not hot, no butter as mentioned in many hyped social media. Had to specifically ask. Check photo for quality and display of dosa. Second order on specifically asking I got a yummy tasty dosa.
Harish R — Google review
Mylari dosa is very famous in Mysore. It’s similar to benne dosa but the combination with vegetable sagu is so unique. The service is also very quick. People are filled in the morning. Had to wait for seat but we got the seat soon. We had two dosas but it became a little heavy for us. So filling so melting and satisfying. The idli was also so soft and we didn’t even had to chew the idli. It was just melting away. Coffee was also good.
Rachna B — Google review
Went with high expectations after all the reviews on YouTube. Good neat place and prompt service. The idli was fluffy and soft as they claimed. It was good. The mylari dosa was very good and tastes different. Domination of onions and less potato in the palya was different but good. GOOD but not the best.

Oyster Bay is a serene restaurant in Mysore that offers a delightful fusion of Indian and global cuisines, with a focus on seafood and refreshing beverages. The ambiance is peaceful, allowing guests to savor their meal while enjoying the gentle sounds of nature. The restaurant boasts candlelight seating, landscaped gardens, and a tranquil pool, creating an inviting atmosphere akin to a resort. It's an ideal venue for family gatherings and can accommodate parties of up to 200 people.
It is one of the top class Oyster Bay restaurant at mysore.. Especially thanks to Mr. Raj (fnb) manager , chef Rajesh and teams.... Food and service was outstanding. Staff was very courteous and responsive. ... Restaurant was well maintained. Thanks for memorable moments .

The excellent staff service rather than the food defines the place . Though the food was also very good. Mr Raj went out of his way to make us feel welcome . Mr Balraj and Mr Gangadhar served us with speed and a smile also offered their recommendations Bhindi was excellent Steamed Rice sub par and did NOT meet expectations as it was not Basmati. A high end restaurant this should be offered at a minimum Tadka Dal was v good My friends rated the Mutton Biryani and Chicken Malai Kebabs 8 / 10 so great job done guys. However the mutton in the biryani was just adequate for one person so have an option in the menu for adding extra mutton pieces at a higher price On the whole, we had a lovely afternoon an enjoyed our lunch

3 stars Oyster Bay, Mysore – Great Ambience, But Food & Service Fell Short Visited Oyster Bay recently and had mixed feelings. The highlight was definitely the ambience – I chose to sit in the garden area at night, and the vibe was really pleasant. The outdoor lighting, greenery, and open-air setup create a calm and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxed conversations or a casual evening out. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. The flavors felt underwhelming, and the overall presentation wasn’t impressive either. For a place with such a lovely setting, I was hoping for something more refined and satisfying on the culinary side. The service was quite slow and lacked attentiveness. It took a while for the staff to take our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. It’s a beautiful space, especially for evening visits, but there's definitely room for improvement in both food quality and customer service. Would recommend it more for the ambience than the dining experience.

Nice ambience. Food was good and service was excellent. Staff was very courteous and responsive. Even though the property is nice, washrooms are least maintained. The taps are broken, and don’t think that cost much to get it replaced.

Place and ambience was good but dissatisfied with the service waited almost 15 mins for a fingerbowl that too asked to bring nearly 4-5 times later went to washroom and did hand wash after that waited again for bill! The waiters were just roaming here and there but no response from them!!! Apart feom service evrything was great and food was also nive to have

Trusted the review and ratings. I guess, I shouldn't have. 🙁👎 The Food is average. Ambience is the only best part of the restaurant. 👍 We ordered Chicken Satay, American Chopsuey and Chilli Garlic Noodles. 😋 Chicken Satay had a fishy odor, i mean quite literally. It was good only because of the sauce that they gave with it. 🐟🍗 American Chopsuey should be in the desserts section, as the chopsuey sauce was too sweet. We had to mix the sauce from the Satay to give it some depth in flavor. 🫤 Chilli Garlic Noodles was kinda good. It was spicy, but I couldn't taste any Garlic. So, it's just Chilli Noodles. 🌶✅️🧄❌️ Not to forget the fishy odor again. 🐟 Are they using some used fish oil or something? Service was okay, just one waiter looking after everything. Not sure why. 🤷‍♂️ Overall, the experience was decent. 😐 I could have given a 3 star, but for the price and the Fine Dining vibe that they going with, I can't be generous.
Vineeth S — Google review
It's a nice fine dining restaurant with a good Ambience and green atmosphere. Food: Prawn soup:5* Tandoori chilli chicken: 4* Fish Tawas and rawa fry: 5* Mutton chops: taste was good but the mutton was hard and fibrous. Good Biriyani. Prawn ghee roast: good taste but qty is not price worthy Uday and Madhu were friendly and helpful. Good place for a friendly get together.

We had our wedding and reception here and we absolutely loved it! The food is top notch! All of our guests loved the afternoon banana leaf meal, and our evening reception had lot of local delicacies. The venue is also so beautiful - the architecture and greenery makes it perfect for an outdoor event. Highly recommend checking out this place if you’re considering an event big or small!

The Old House is a charming Italian restaurant in Mysore that beautifully blends modern decor with the city's heritage. It offers a delectable menu featuring salads, wood-fire oven pizzas, risottos, and classic pastas. The restaurant is also known for its hearty breakfast options and an array of beverages including coffee, hot chocolate, and mocktails.
Loved the experience at The Old House! The ambience is great, a perfect heritage and modern combination. The staff are super friendly and quick in service. Coming to the food, every item we tasted was excellent with mild and balanced flavors. The Sicilian pizza and pasta with Mediterranean sauce were top-notch! The pastries were decent. Overall, worth the experience!

I had a great experience at The Old House The pizzas are a must have. The espresso tonic coffee is really good as well. Also tried the pistachio rose raspberry cake - pretty good. The warm service and friendly staff were the cherry on top. Highly recommended.

Visited Old House Café in Mysuru today, and it was such a delightful experience! The place has a warm, cozy vibe — perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. We tried their pizza, pasta, and peach iced tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, making every bite worth it. But the real highlight of the visit was their pumpkin carrot cake — soft, moist, and full of comforting, homemade flavor. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this café if you’re looking for great food, good ambiance, and something sweet to remember.
SHIVAM T — Google review
We went on diwali. It was packed, but got seating in 5 mins or so. Ambience and vibe: 5/5. Very cozy, happening and open. The sourdough pizzas are a must. We wanted a little more spice, so drizzled some of that inhouse chilli oil. We ordered verdue misti, had marinara sauce. It was so fresh and light. Loved the cook on the crust. Mushroom bites: the bites itself was super crispy, well seasoned and did not feel oily. The side that they have with this was slightly sweet, but we couldn't taste much of it because the seasoning on the mushroom crisps were salty and spicy as is. The side/dip didn't offer the relief we thought it would. The gelato: tasted more milky than berry. The cone was slightly more caramelized but went well with the milkyness of the gelato. Gelatos are usually so creamy, but due to the freezing: this one had crystalised. So missed that creamy mouth feel. Hazelnut gluten free dessert: the creme was too rich and dense. The cake itself, since it was gluten free, missed that moisture. Felt we could have been able to taste the chocolate and hazelnut better if the dessert didn't feel so dry. But overall, food tastes fresh and yum. I saw the brioche loaf and had to pack it. Fluffy ✨ total bill was around 2k. It was a nice lunch with brilliant service. Must visit. Because of these small Lil things, I have rated food as 4/5.

What a slice of paradise! After travelling a couple of months through India, we were a bit homesick and wanted a restaurant with a European menu. We stumbled upon three recommendations in Mysore. The Old House was not just hands down the best, but one of our favourite brunches in India. We tried out several menu items, but the highlights were their fresh bowls, huge selection of sweet treats and coffees. The property is extremely hygienic, well-maintained and the interaction with the professional staff was a treat. Great stuff team!

Old House Café is such a charming spot in Mysore — the vibe is warm, rustic, and perfect for a leisurely meal. I tried their Turkish eggs, fresh salad, sandwich, and the classic English breakfast — everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully plated. The Turkish eggs were creamy and flavorful, the salad crisp and refreshing, and the sandwich had just the right balance of texture and taste. The English breakfast was hearty and satisfying — a perfect start to the day. Service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance makes you want to linger a little longer over your coffee. A must-visit for anyone who loves good food in a relaxed, cozy setting.

Old House has such great vibes — the crowd, ambience, and overall feel are way better than most cafés in Bangalore! The food is amazing, and the pizzas are just lovely. The place has a really relaxed, classy charm that makes it perfect to hang out with friends or family. Tried the Gelato — the dark chocolate one was a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall, it’s a fantastic spot to visit in Mysore. Definitely worth going!

We had dinner here. The ambience is lovely and definitely the highlight of the place, making up a bit for the very average food. The Mediterranean pasta was watery and completely lacked flavour, while the lamington was dry and stale. Would not recommend it for the food, but it is a nice spot if you just want to enjoy the atmosphere and have an overpriced drink.

The restaurant breaks stereotypes with its extraordinary wild-ish vibe, complete with jungle safari uniforms for the staff and leopard print chairs and plates. Serving a blend of North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, and Continental cuisines along with delicious desserts and beverages, Gufha provides ample seating in a beautiful environment.
An unforgettable dining experience! We had the best food experience at Gufha Restaurant. Every dish we ordered tasted incredibly fresh, and the quality was absolutely top-notch. The ambience is truly unique—dining here feels like an experience in itself. The service was quick and the staff were very polite, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!

This is a theme based restaurant situated near the Mysore palace. The starter and the main course is good. I really liked the ambience. Although the waiting time is quite high there, you may call for table reservation.

It's really to experience something innovative. We were staying at the Pai so it was only a change of floor to get to the restaurant. Seating can be a little more comfortable but overall it was a good experience. The staff is excellent, service is quick, food is good but can be a bit spicy.

Really nice staff, based on our urgency they helped in arranging table on priority. Food is excellent especially Manchurian. Tried something new papad cheese corn, kinda of unique. Ambience is just wow! Definately recommended.

Pros 1. Location Cons 1. Staff is not properly trained. 2. Food is below average. Should definitely be better. 3. They don't accept advance booking on Friday and the weekend. 4. People are just going here for the cave experience which is also very sub-par.

Mahesh Prasad Veg Restaurant is a beloved spot in Mysore, offering a traditional South Indian dining experience. Despite the modern times, this gem has remained open thanks to its loyal local customer base and positive social media reviews. The restaurant serves South Indian vegetarian meals all day long, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea. With canteen-style tables and a simple ambiance, it's frequented by locals who appreciate its authentic offerings.
Great breakfast. Idli Vade and sambar were great. Pongal with tamarind chutney was a killer. Methi bath was yum. Bisibele bath was decent. Dosas were decent and the famous basundi was great as usual. Fast service and clean place. Definitely recommended. There will be waiting for tables on weekends.

I had been here with friends for a lunch and another time for evening snacks. The restaurant is known for its pure vegetarian authenticity. Despite the bustling crowd, we patiently waited for a table, and the experience was well worth it. Ambience: gives you vintage vibes, now they have expanded there seating outside. Food Recommendations- we went there during lunch time so we ordered south meals, with chapati. It was tasty & worth the price. Evening snacks we ordered Bonda soup , butter masala dosa and panner manchurian. Bonds soup was mouthwatering yummy . It’s a must try. Service: As it was crowded during peak hours, but we got seat after 10mins n service is good. You will get ample parking space outside the restaurant . Overall, good experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5/5) The food at Mahesh Prasad was okay to good overall — some dishes were quite enjoyable, others just average. I'd rate the food around 3.5 to 4 out of 5. The oota meals costed 105 rupees which just had one chapati, rice, sambar, rasam, dry vegetable, veg gravy(brinjal curry), curd, pickle, papad & sweet However, what really bothered me was the hygiene of the drinking water glasses. The first glass they brought had visible soap stains, so I asked for another — and this time, there was actually soap floating in the water. It wasn’t a one-off either; I noticed several glasses on nearby tables also didn’t look properly cleaned. I’m not sure how this is going unnoticed by staff or other customers, but it’s something the management seriously needs to address. Cleanliness is basic and expected, especially when serving drinking water. Hope they improve this, because otherwise it’s a decent place.

5 star all over for this place. Interiors are so simple and yet so pleasing . Their idly vada is to die for and try for. The idly was as soft as the moon kissing the sea and vada was as crispy as my back pain. This with their signature sambar and chutney. My oh my !!! Kesari bath was sweet and nice and has pineapple pieces too. Their masala dosa is always fresh.. Benne masala is their best seller and very crispy and nice with the potato bhajji. To end with and down all the flavours, the coffee is bloody brilliant. Strong hot and served with a lot of love. The staff is very friendly and attentive too. Must try when in Mysore.

On our recent visit during Dussehra, we discovered a restaurant renowned for its pure vegetarian authenticity. Despite the bustling crowd, we patiently waited for a table, and the experience was well worth it. The wait time was reasonable given the high demand, and we appreciated the lively atmosphere. Once seated, we indulged in a variety of dishes, all of which impressed us with their rich flavors and freshness. Each item reflected the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste. Conveniently, there’s ample parking available, making it easy to visit even during peak times. If you’re a fan of vegetarian cuisine, I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

The channa masala of the channa batura was spoilt. Instead of a simple apology and cancelling it, The waiter checked at the kitchen and had the audacity to say the Kabuli channa colour is black and is spoilt. The rotten smell was quite eminent. Finally, after speaking with the manager, it was cancelled. Overall service was not good. They treat the floating tourist customers so shabily, probably managing since no other restaurants nearby.

Indra Café / Paras Visited this place for Lunch during my stay @ Mysore.. I have been visiting this place for a many years. Location: Located on the sayyaji rao road, close to the KR market.. Parking: Parking is a challenge considering the location. Ambience: Pathetic, there is nothing called cleanliness, was highly disappointed to see such a legacy restaurant going down in maintenance and service standards. A good wash of the floors and the tables is highly recommended to the management. Service: Was quick and good Food Taste: We tried the following items Butter Ghee Roast – there was no ghee used at all Onion Dose – it was literally burnt / charred Channa Batura – the oil was no drained at all, the batura served was dripping with oil Coffee – was good Kharabath – it was a left over served hot Pricing: Price of all the items are super expensive. My Verdict: Kindly do not visit this place considering the cleanliness, cost, I do not recommend. There are plenty of restaurants serving good quality food at a much lesser cost. I would never visit this place ever.

We visited the place on our mysore visit , was bit crowded during afternoon. We order both south indian and north indian thali South Indian was pathetic rice was completely soda and palya or vegitables were so taste less ...... No sweet in it all Coming to Mysore being in south indian they could have atleast served south dishes better........ North Indian was comparatively better including tomato soup, cham cham roti , kulcha , 3 types curry, salad, palav and papad.. But while giving the bill when we asked for QR code they told to pay downstairs instead they could have provided there itself it would be easy for all.

Very poor place.. I've heard a lot about their food and beer but sadly as of Aug 2024 they have stopped selling alcohol. Their so called famous garlic chicken was very bad. A Hidden Gem in Mysore with a Goan Vibe This hotel in Mysore is a serene retreat that perfectly blends Goan charm with warm hospitality. Its beautifully lit ambiance and attention to detail create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The highlight is the stunning fountain at the back, with water flowing into a stream that surrounds the hotel, adding a calming touch to the property. The dining experience is exceptional. The butter naan is soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. Every dish is crafted with care, and the service is attentive and professional, making you feel truly valued.

The pub is located at a good location, and is a minimalistic pub but with a delicate but posh touch of western brewery. They have tried to design it in a certain way that appeals to both young and old, desi audiences. (If you are planning to try this place out for its food..... Don't) Both the restaurant/pub and the menu book here, make a good first impression, but it's downhill from there. The food is nothing to boast about, and the service either. The vegetarian starters were good, and a couple of non veg starters. The biryanis here was just rice with some colour sprinkled on it, and tasteless. I can say the same for the other dishes as well. The comfort of the interior facilities fall short of expectations. This place is only good for having a booze party with a gang of friends. This place is not a good choice for families, or office related professional lunches and dinners.

YATHISH R — Google review
Telugu Mess – A Hidden Gem for Mutton Lovers If you’re someone who enjoys hearty, flavorful meals with a rich, authentic taste, Telugu Mess is a spot you definitely want to try. Personally, it’s become my regular weekend stop, as it satisfies my cravings for good mutton dishes every time. The restaurant consistently delivers quality food, and it’s become one of my favorite places in town. One of the standout dishes at Telugu Mess is definitely their mutton kaal soup. This dish has a perfect balance of spices and flavors, with the mutton being cooked to perfection. The meat is tender and juicy, and the soup itself is rich and savory, with just the right amount of depth. Every time I visit, I make it a point to order this, and it never disappoints. Along with the mutton, they serve other dishes that also reflect the same level of care in preparation. Another reason I love coming here is the pricing. For the portion sizes and quality of the food, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a place with such reasonable rates. It's the kind of place where you can have a satisfying, fulfilling meal without having to worry about overspending. Whether you're just grabbing a quick meal or having a leisurely weekend lunch, you get great value for the price you pay. The staff at Telugu Mess deserve a mention as well. Over the course of my visits, I've noticed that they are friendly, prompt, and helpful. The service is typically fast, and they are always ready to recommend dishes or assist with any special requests. It’s clear that the management places emphasis on maintaining a customer-friendly atmosphere. In terms of location, Telugu Mess is quite accessible. It’s in a place that is easy to find, making it convenient for anyone to drop by. The area is well-connected, and finding parking isn’t usually a hassle, which makes it all the more convenient if you want to pop in for a meal during the weekend. However, if there’s one area I feel they could improve on, it’s the spiciness of their dishes. While I appreciate the bold flavors and the way they’ve managed to keep the taste vibrant, everything I’ve tried here tends to be on the spicy side. For someone who doesn’t tolerate too much heat, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. I’m not sure if the spice level is standard for every dish, but I do think it would be a great idea if they offered some items with a more balanced spice level or allowed customers to choose their preferred spice intensity. That said, the taste more than makes up for the spice, and I’m sure others who love their food with a kick will appreciate it. Beyond the spice, the overall experience at Telugu Mess has been quite satisfying. The flavor profile of the food is consistently good, the service is reliable, and the ambience is straightforward and no-nonsense, which complements the nature of the restaurant. It’s not a fancy place, but the food speaks for itself, and that’s what matters most. For those who are looking for a simple yet tasty and filling meal, Telugu Mess ticks all the right boxes. Overall, I can confidently say that Telugu Mess is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Indian-style mutton dishes. The restaurant delivers on all fronts—great food, reasonable pricing, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s worth checking out. I just hope they’ll consider adjusting the spice levels slightly in the future to make it accessible to a wider range of taste preferences. Regardless, I will definitely keep coming back for those flavorful mutton dishes.

When I visited Mysore for the first time, I searched Google for a good non-veg breakfast spot. After reading reviews, I thought I’d found the perfect place. People mentioned the food was spicy, which excited me as a Telugu person. I arrived at the restaurant and ordered paya, idli, ghee rice, and chicken. The food was decent but not outstanding. Despite the reviews, it wasn’t spicy at all—completely bland, in fact. While the dishes weren’t bad, they didn’t impress either. The food lacked spice, but the prices were fiery.
Amar G — Google review
Went to Tegu Mess around 7 AM. The soup was subtle and amazing! Idli was good too. Gravy had too much masala for our taste those who like strong flavors might enjoy it.
Siri N — Google review
If you’re after bold, old-school flavours, Tegu Mess delivers. We ordered the mutton kaima meal(₹300): three plump kaima unde in rich gravy but the unde itself was a little underwhelming, unlimited pulao rice/white tice, and a hefty plate of pepper chicken with the chicken meal(₹300), generous enough for two. The ragi mudde for us was replaced with ghatte idli’s on request, which was pillowy and great to eat with the gravy they served. Food arrives fast, spices punch hard, and the bill stays light. That said, I’m not a big fan of how the place is kept—tables and floors can feel a bit unclean and unkempt, especially during the rush. Worth it for the flavour-to-price ratio, but expect to sacrifice some comfort. Parking is a little difficult to find, so park elsewhere and walk to the place.
Spandana Y — Google review

Hyped restaurant. Got mouth ulcer after eating from here. Any home based hotel serves better food than here The waiter confuses like anything and is not transparent about the pricing. We asked what does one get in mutton meals, he said liver is included and then charged for 2 meals. In meals, he gives more of rice and just 3 piece of non-veg. Eating more carbs and charging more price is totally unjustified. Very cramped up seating area. The taste is below average than a foothpath non-veg shop. Will not recommend to visit this place.

While the decor may be simple, the focus here is undeniably on the food. Diners rave about classics like puliyogare, bisi bele bath, and pongal, alongside crispy snacks such as kodubale and chakli that are perfect for those looking to explore more flavors.

True to its roots, the restaurant offers simple, traditional Iyengar-style meals that are both comforting and flavorful. The dosa varieties, especially the ghee roast and set dosa, are must-tries — crisp on the outside, soft inside, and served with delicious chutney and sambar. Their idlis are soft and fresh, and the filter coffee is just perfect to wrap up a hearty breakfast. The ambience is basic but clean and functional, focused more on the food than frills. Quick service and reasonable pricing make it popular among locals and tourists alike. Great spot for a no-nonsense, satisfying South Indian meal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5/5) – Homely taste, fast service, great value.

We visited this place on a weekend and chose to sit on the first floor. Our first order was two Double Roast Masala Dosas and one Benne Masale, which were delivered within just 5 minutes. Unfortunately, they seemed to have served pre-prepared dosas without considering our request. When we asked about it, the waiter simply said, “It’s roasted,” but the dosas were far from it — they were cold and unappealing. Throughout our breakfast, the staff repeatedly misunderstood our orders despite us clearly repeating them multiple times. For example, we ordered Badam Milk without sugar, but what we received was extremely sweet. While the overall taste of the food was decent, the poor service, lack of attention, and delayed responses really spoiled the experience. We’ve never encountered such disappointing service before.

Food wise it's good, both the self service in ground floor and the service availability in first floor. But searing capacity is cramped I'm both places, and waiting period is a tester of patience. Especially when it's peak time. Given a miss of service or issues with food every now and then this place is actually good. Also they are available in the apps which makes it more convenient to order from home. How ever last time I happen to found a foreign debris in the Hayagreeva.

All dishes are on point and even better than what I've expected. Puliyogare is very unique and good. Masala dosa is great too... could have been better if they had less oil. Coffee is average, could have been better with lesser sugar.
Chanukya S — Google review
Authentic vegetarian place in Mysore. Food was extremely good. Great place, super service. They close down very early. You can't go here after 9pm. That's the only drawback. Walkable from the Venkateswara temple

If you crave delicious South Indian dishes like Pongal, Puliyogare, Dose, BBB, Shavige, Baths, Idli etc, this is the perfect place without doubt. You won't find another place more cheaper and still hygienic and tasty than this.

Non vegetarian restaurant
Marata Mess, situated in Chamarajapura, offers a unique blend of Mysore and Maratha-style mess food. Despite its limited seating, the establishment is popular among locals and visitors alike for its home-style, flavorful dishes that are easy on the pocket.
5 Stars Authentic Non-Veg Delights in the Heart of Mysuru! I was introduced to Marata Mess by Mr. Pavan, who was involved in our house construction and interiors. He highly recommended this place, and I’m so glad he did! My first visit was a few days ago, and I enjoyed it so much that I returned again for lunch on Friday, 18th April 2025. The location is easy to find via Google Maps, situated in a prime area of Chamarajapura, Mysuru. There's ample parking space both inside the compound and outside along the road near other houses. What truly impressed me was the authentic non-vegetarian taste this restaurant offers. The mutton biryani and fish dishes were simply mouth-watering — rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. Every dish we tried was delicious and satisfying. The place gets quite busy during lunchtime, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Important to note: Marata Mess is open only for lunch — no dinner service available. So make sure to plan accordingly! Another great highlight is that the majority of the staff are women — from the cashier to the kitchen and the servers. It’s a commendable initiative by the restaurant owner to empower women through employment. Hats off to them! Service was prompt and friendly. Once you place your order, the food arrives quickly. After eating, the process is smooth — the waiter informs the bill amount, and payment is made at the counter. You can optionally tip the servers (₹10 or ₹20), which is a nice way to appreciate their service. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with proper restrooms and a clean handwash area complete with soap and oil — a big plus! To top it off, there's a small PAN shop right outside, offering a variety of flavored PANs to wrap up your meal perfectly. I absolutely loved the experience and would recommend Marata Mess to anyone visiting Mysuru. It’s a must-try for all non-veg food lovers — even once in a lifetime if you're from afar!

Based on the review our family had been their all the way from Bangalore...it was Sunday and crowded ..no one to assist from restaurant, you yourself have to find your seats..even after u get seat order taken from us was almost 30 minutes later....we had ordered kheema, fish fry, mutton biryani and mutton fry ... mutton biryani rice was 90 percent cooked but tasty to have ...kheema and mutton fry below average..fish fry was good.place is not well maintained inside all over wood pieces and cartoon boxes thrown over in some parts whr actually people sit and eat which connects to bathroom path as well ..toilets are the worstest and not cleaned atleast from 20 days....I some how felt carelessness by owners ..hygiene is very important....will not think of going again over ther....food taste not satisfactory for us....

Our family including my two nieces went here on a Sunday afternoon and boy was it crowded. We had a very quick and witty waiter aunty. She took the food order and suggested us which one we take first for the sequence. They are completely on their toes because of so many customers, but it is highly commendable. The ambience is amazing. Sitting in a homely place which gives a nostalgic vibe of old Mysuru is something else. The chilli chicken was amazing. Ragi muddhe is my favourite to eat and the size and texture was very good. The Biryani or it’s rice though, oooh, chef’s kiss! Please try them here and it’s delicious. I highly recommend this place. Park your two wheeler or car in crossroads and reach by walk, because it’s presided in residential area. You would definitely need that walk after the heavy scrumptious meal. The price is also quite reasonable!

A superb place for non-veg lovers! The food is excellent, with very well-balanced flavors, perfect spice levels, and a truly homemade touch. The hotel operates from a home setting, which adds to the charm—it genuinely feels like enjoying a home-cooked meal. Service is quick and efficient, and the staff is really nice and attentive. While you shouldn’t expect fine-dining ambiance or formal service, the place is clean, neat, and clear in its approach—focused purely on great food. I really liked the overall experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys non-vegetarian food. A hidden gem for sure!

Amazing place, pepper dry is one of their best, biryani is really yummy. Almost all there items are quite good. At last ask for a glass of rasam and drink you might feel fully satisfied.

A Culinary Delight for Non-Vegetarians: An Amazing Dining Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at Marata Mess, a non-vegetarian paradise that left my taste buds singing with joy. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. Here's why my experience was exceptional: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Marata Mess, a non-vegetarian paradise that left me absolutely astounded. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was able sense the Biriyani aroma left me delighted. First and foremost, the menu was a feast for the senses. The variety and quality of dishes available were truly remarkable. Each dish was prepared with meticulous attention to detail, showcasing the expertise of the talented chefs. The flavors were exquisite, and every bite was an explosion of taste that left me craving for more. The exceptional menu, outstanding service, inviting ambiance, commitment to quality ingredients, and exquisite presentation all combine to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Quality of the food is superb and one has to taste their mutton Kaima ball. Their mutton biriyani is in the next class beating all other joints. Feel like visiting Mysore for small reason to eat food at this place. It’s so addictive.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than House Of Momos And Noodles. This cozy eatery may not boast an extravagant ambiance, but it more than makes up for it with its mouthwatering offerings. The menu features a variety of delicious momos, including spicy and paneer options tossed in flavorful sauces like Schezwan and BBQ.
The Owner is very sweet. The food was so flavourful and good , the price is also very reasonable. I am not a soda person, but you should definitely try their goli soda in rose flavour. ( they call it paneer apparently)
Diya S — Google review
It's a budget-friendly restaurant where two can share a single dish.

The food was delicious!! I can definitely recommend the paneer momo! We tasted some of the new desert and they were just as good. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Loved this place ❤️. I wanted to visit this place from long time. The atmosphere itself very cool there with some retro vibes. First thing i observed is he had kept spicy, sweet garlic and tomato sauce at the table along with soy, chilli sauce and vinegar, so that you wouldn't have to run behind the staffs for any requirement. We ordered Veg fried momos, paneer momos tossed in schezwan sauce, Chinese veg choupsey, dates pancake. Momos were yummy which went good with the sauces. The stuffings were also good in amount. Choupsey had more veggies including broccoli. Dates pancake was very sweet. Service was fast. So the silver line is all the items in the menu is very affordable and good in quantity. I definitely will be visiting here again.

Nestled in the heart of Mysore, Green Leaf Food Court may appear unassuming at first glance, but it quickly reveals itself as a culinary gem. This unique eatery serves up an impressive array of both South Indian and North Indian dishes that are bursting with flavor. The vibrant green tables enhance the restaurant's inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for those craving fresh, home-style meals paired with exceptional service.
Always a pleasure eating at this place!

I and my family of six had been here for the dinner today and the experience was below average. Firstly, there was power down twice where for 10 mins there was pitch dark and we had lit our mobile flashlights. Secondly, the food was below average. Didn't like any of the dishes we ordered. The paneer Tikka had no masala and the salad served with it had a weird taste. The veg kolhapuri wasn't good at all. Hakka Noodles also tasted weird. Other items we ordered were manchow soup, butter kulcha, mushroom Hyderabadi and mushroom schezwan fried rice which were all okayish and below average. The hygiene was also not taken care. Overall the experience was dissatisfied and maybe dont know. I have been a customer of green leaf from a very long time, but this was something unexpected.

But when we ask them prepare as we want they don’t I asked them to make little bit spicy and with less oil fried rice they said yes and when I received my food the instructions were not followed 3. And when we ask something they don’t respond too .. Even the prices are high too
