We love to come here once a year for my birthday because your meal is free on your birthday. They are closed on Sundays so if your birthday is on a Sunday you have to come on the following Monday. There is a lot of food. It's one of the biggest buffets in the country. Lots of home cooked foods. They do steak night, seafood, and other theme nights.

The line was literally out the door the day we went. It took us right at an hour to get through the line/pay and get to a table. This was by far the largest buffet I have ever seen. There are alot of places that have a good amount of options but nothing compares to the Shady Maple. I had a good range of foods and everything was good. The buffet had just about everything you can think of to eat. So no matter what you are hungry for they will have it.

This place is a top-notch buffet honestly the best I’ve ever been to! After the pandemic, buffets have been disappearing and becoming pretty rare, so getting to enjoy one of this quality was such a treat. The food was fantastic across the board, and I didn’t even manage to try a quarter of what was available there’s just that much variety. I’d highly recommend the roast meat; it was insanely good, buttery, and tender, with that perfect melt-in-your-mouth flavor that’s hard to find anywhere else. The restaurant itself was also impressively clean. I noticed workers constantly walking around and cleaning, which was awesome to see, especially in such a busy buffet environment. On top of that, there’s probably the largest gift shop I’ve ever seen located right under the restaurant, packed with all sorts of unique and fun items. Definitely worth checking out before you leave. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re nearby, don’t miss it!

A must stop when you are visiting the Amish Country. Foods are fresh and constantly being filled. Love the Chopped cheese steak. The pies are always yummy! Homemade Amish Pies! They have every soft drink you can want and and amazing sugar free selection of icees. The ice cream and milkshakes are thick and 100% cream! The also have a huge gift shop on bottom floor.

Okay this is an 8hr trip from our home. We were super excited to try this place. Waited in two separate lines to pay then be seated, think amusement park lines for lunch on a Monday. $20 bucks pp and we had 5ppl. Honestly the food did not match the hype. The selections were AMAZING and there were SO many things to choose from but it needed the salt and pepper treatment. Brisket- do it! Butter noodles- don't do it. The dessert was great and they had lots of choices. They had cool 3d art around the place too. Overall glad we experienced it, won't return unless we return for like breakfast only to give it a shot. Save time for the downstairs gift shop or the market down the hill. That's where I had the most fun!

Shady Maple Smorgasbord is an experience you have to try at least once if you’re anywhere near Lancaster County! The place is massive, spotless, and incredibly well-run. The staff is friendly and efficient, keeping everything stocked and clean even during the busiest hours. The food selection is unreal, endless options from favorites and hearty comfort food to fresh-made desserts and soft-serve ice cream. Everything tasted homemade and fresh, not like your typical buffet. My favorites were the carved meats, fried chicken, mac & cheese, and those desserts (worth the trip alone). It’s definitely a place where you can feel the community vibe, families, travelers, locals, everyone seems to be having a great time. The atmosphere is cozy, the prices are fair for what you get, and the whole experience feels like a celebration of good food and hospitality!

This was my first time here. We went on Tuesday (Seafood Night) and I was very impressed! This buffet was very comparable to some of the top seafood buffets I’ve gone to at the beach! The food was hot and fresh. Even with being very busy, we got right in and were seated near instantly. The staff kept the bar full constantly! Will definitely come again!

The buffet food was great however we had an issue with them trying to seat us near a stairwell exit door ( how odd as we are not trash) that would put my Mother in-law (who flew in from Guatemala to go on vacation with us)in the aisle and in the direct path of anyone walking past to get to their table as well as all entering and exiting the area. I asked the young man who tried to place us there that this was unacceptable but he seemed to have dozens of excuses (none of them good) as to why he couldn't seat us at several empty booth and tables (some table were reserved for show goers but not all). Why am I treated like a second class citizen to the show goers as our money is green too just like there's. After walking back up to station area passing at least close to a dozen tables and booths that were available the woman hostess there seems to not mind to provide us with a booth as we waited shortly but then were seated. Our waitress came by shortly and she was great. So they saved our evening thanks to their comprehension that our first placement was offensive unlike the young man who could care less where he "dumped" us and have a sorry "song and dance" that made us feel unwanted. Food was excellent and what a great selection. Waitress was friendly and helpful as she smiled a lot. Place seemed clean and we enjoyed our meals. If not for the first ridiculous seating attempt I would have given 5 stars. Maybe train workers who deal closely with the customers to practice empathy in the future.

We had a great experience when we went. The food was good, deserts were wonderful. Our server, Jaun, was the best. Professional, funny, and on top of things. Took another group of friends a week later. Ask for Jaun. They loved him. We will definitely be going back.

Short wait time, but worth the wait! The food was absolutely delicious. Deserts we're too! Our waitress was so nice and helpful. (Our first time there since they re-opened) Returned the next day to get a couple gifts and whoopie pies! Will return in the future!

Great food prepared by an amazing chef who demonstrates his passion for cooking. The table service/ waitresses provided excellent customer service. Plenty of free on site parking and handicapped parking is available. Family and kids friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Handicap and wheelchair accessible without any restrictions. I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone.

the food was horrible, but dessert was good. your choices are very limited when it comes to a main dish. the mashed potatoes were runny, the perogies were doughy, the stewed tomatoes were sweet and still pretty chunky. the tomatoes that were at the salad bar were disgusting. i picked one up and it was black. there was a huge black spot on it. there were quite a few actually that had black spots on it. there was really no quality in the food. the spaces between the different bars was very limited and your constantly running into someone or being stared at by someone. service was decent, our waiter was pretty nice though.

Food was mostly average except the meatloaf was pretty good. The green beans unfortunately were canned. For soups they had chili, vegtable, corn chicken or stuff pepper soup. The stuff pepper soup was spicy. You can get the full buffet or the soup/salad buffet. Sarah the waitress was excellent and very professional. She was very kind to us and explained how the buffet worked since we have never been there before.

Great food. Friendly service. Wonderful atmosphere. There's a varied selection of offerings. You can pay for the all you can eat buffet or just part of the buffet like soup/ salad/ and dessert. I'd eat here every week if I lived nearby. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.

Great selection of food and locally brewed beer. We tried a mixed flight, very reasonable price and serving size. Also had a few samples. Did not have a single beer that was not delicious. They definitely know what they are doing. If you like light and flavorful, try the Lancaster Lager. Like something a bit sweet and dark with a long finish? Try the Shoofly Porter. She had the Reuben, delicious take on a time honored classic. He had the fish and chips. Everything cooked just right. They have an outdoor patio, but it was pouring rain when we went there. So we ate inside. 🙂 Highly recommend Lancaster Brewing Company, and will definitely return!

My mushroom Swiss burger was professionally prepared with a hint of charbroil which gave it an extra level of flavor. I was surprised I ate more than two fries as I had promised them to my husband. I am not sure how they prepared them but I did eat more than my normal. I was super happy that this brewery offers more than beer. I was thrilled to order a cup of coffee. The menu has a lovely mix of dining options. I have included a menu in my pictures. This Brewery is featured on the Discovery Lancaster Brew Trail. Grab your friends or family and enjoy a a pleasant dining experience.

Food was good, service was great! Wish the fish and chips had more fish than the breaded part. They have beer flights and several cocktails as well.

I'm so glad we found LBC this past weekend! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We got the crab dip and pot stickers and we're very impressed with both the flavor and sheer quantity 👌 I was a bit hesitant on the $12 uncharged for steak on my Greek salad but that all changed when I saw that it was an entire sirloin cooked to perfection. Definitely would recommend

I'm not lying, my son got the best chicken nuggets I ever tasted! The seltzer was delicious. Service fantastic.

Our server Lindsey was exceptional and made our visit very enjoyable—she was great, bringing us multiple samples and giving many recommendations. Cocktails were amazing and we drank several varieties of beer (after all the samples😂) all were very good. We only had a few apps, pretzel, buffalo cauliflower and hummus platter but all were very good with ample portions. Also nice carry out beer selection and priced well. My only recommendation would be some music on the patio but I would definitely recommend a visit here.

3 of us went to dinner, wanting to try something new. I got the reuben which wasn't anything to write home about and quite dry. A friend got the braised short rib and was disappointed in how much fat came with it. The cheesesteak egg rolls were phenomenal and melted in your mouth, highly recommend. The fries/chips are pretty awesome, worth the try. The cocktails were 50/50. Original, bold flavors, but a little strong. One had something to do with absinthe which was a bit much for our table and the other was a customized lemon drop drink which was delicious so maybe one just wasn't for us. The service was incredible as was the restaurant decor. I'd definitely try again just with other items on the menu that I was tossing back and forth on when ordering. I'd recommend just for the service and atmosphere - they're worth the business. The food I haven't given up on - maybe just a bad day so total 4 stars.

The food was very good here. We had bangers and mash, wings, and irish soda bread. It was all good. We sat outside and that was nice. Service was a little slow and the wait staff appeared to be tasked with multiple roles so service was a bit slow but he handled ot reasonably well. We enjoyed the experience and will continue to patronize this venue.

We went St Patty's Day weekend and even though it is probably their busiest weekend of the year we were taken great care of! I was I had more of an appetite because everything looked amazing!!! The Irishtini was a life-changing twist on a classic and the dessert was even made with Guinness!

First time coming here with my son who’s been before. Love the atmosphere; I had a daiquiri and shepherd’s pie. My husband had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and enjoyed it. Brandon was excellent as our server; he recognized my son from before. That’s a plus in my book!

I loved this spot!! The service was fantastic- our bartender was so sweet and attentive, making sure our water glasses stayed full. He gave us a few samples of drinks during our time there which we loved (I can’t remember him name but he made an incredible espresso martini!! Thank you for letting us try a taste!) my friend and I split the Irish nachos, then the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate tart, and everything was 11/10. I must have sounded like a complete fool raving about each bite I took, but it was seriously some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Prices were great, service and atmosphere were wonderful; I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area 👏

I have enjoyed every dish here. Fish n chips is a good crunchy fish, the pot pie is delicious and I love that I can order a wonderful shepherds pie!

Made two visits on my recent trip and loved them both. I first came for happy hour for the delicious Bites and sips. I had cheesesteak rolls and wings. They were some of the most authentic Buffalo wings ever! My dinner visit I brought some friends in tow and it consisted of ordering a Ceasars salad and another beverage. Both experiences in a few days were great. I wish the happy hour was extended until 7 pm that's how good it is! Also, maybe play some music in the atmosphere. It would def add to the ambiance. Can't wait to visit again!

The best pretzels we’ve ever had. My 6 year old enjoyed them too. We tried sesame and garlic. They were both delicious. The prices are reasonable. They have outdoor seating.

Best pretzel I’ve ever had! Worth the drive over from Baltimore. Go a head and get a few because you will want more than one!

I love finding new pretzel places. Found this small pretzel place and wanted to give it a try. They have a variety of pretzel options. I ordered the regular salted pretzel to compare it to other pretzel places. My pretzel was good but not great. I’ve had better pretzels in the Lancaster County area. It wasn’t as soft or as buttery for my personal taste but it was still good. I also tried their real fruit strawberry smoothie. The smoothie was actually really good and really fruity. You can see and taste the real fruit in their smoothies. I would go back for a smoothie when in the area.

Great little place to visit. $2.75 per pretzel. Young Amish women making them fresh. Good variety.

We drove from Philadelphia just for the tasty treats offerred here. Its a small shop that hit the spot where Pretzels are concerned. Very charming young polite staff and the smoothies where refreshing.

Nice warm pretzels. This store seems to be run by Mennonites. $2.75 for a pretzel.

My wife treated us today to pretzel wrapped sausages and a pretzel for dessert. We’ve become regular customers over the years and enjoy the homemade taste of Immergut “homemade” soft pretzels. When in Lancaster County, your visit isn’t complete without “Immergut” Hand rolled soft pretzels!!

Came here tonight for dinner and everything was really good. We chose the family style dining which was all you can eat fried chicken, baked ham, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, buttered noodles, apple sauce, gravy, bread, butter or apple butter. For dessert we chose apple crumb pie with ice cream and shoefly pie with ice cream. The atmosphere was really friendly with a gift shop and bakery downstairs. Well worth the short wait and the money.

We opted to go to the other dining room as we wanted to order from their ala carte menu rather than their family style all you can eat option. It was a good choice as the portion size was generous as you can see from the attached pictures. We were also served their super soft bread with whipped butter and jam so we certainly had our fill!

We tried the family style food. It was a very special experience to share food with the other people. The food and the service were good. The desserts were too sweet for me. Overall I recommend to have food with your family when you first visit here!

Ok, I tried this spot due to a recommendation from an Amish woman. I personally liked Katie's Kitchen more for authentic Amish food. Let's see, this place was good that I can see what's cooking due to the open kitchen. The applesauce was okay, the wedding meal was weird but okay, the peppa slaw was fine, the mash was good. The refresher was very very light with sugar but that was fine with me. I'm not sure whether I'd be back but might come back for a breakfast meal. The server was super duper nice!

The staff was so nice and inviting as soon as we entered the building. The family style dinning experience is definitely new to me, (sitting at a hs cafeteria type table with random people). I really enjoyed it though, met a few nice people and the food was good. The fried chicken and mash potatoes was official chicke gravy boat was clutch. My girl got the meatloaf it was good too. They have a family style all you can eat option for $26 per person. If you have the appetite for all that seems worth it to me. They have a nice gift shop too

I really give them a 4 1/2 star rating. This place is good and most the food is pretty flavorful but I have come to other places like this one and they have given me just a bit more on some levels. This place is large inside and you have different choices on what may work for you to purchase a meal ticket. It's either large area with many sets for large groups or for small groups/couples that don't mind meeting new people on the all you can eat price. If that's not for you, then you can purchase off the menu items and sit at a smaller formal area. There's also a bakery on the lower level and a nice size gift shop. They also offer a large parking area that can hold many cars and has space for tour buses as well. That's a bonus to bring in big and larger number of people to visit. The outside area is nice as well with a small petting farm zoo.

We had a very good time at Good and Plenty. Our server was excellent. They have a novelty store connected to the restaurant and it's a lot of fun. It was my birthday on the day we went. They have a birthday policy that the birthday persons food is of no charge and a 20% off coupon for the novelty store is given as a gift. I was very touched. It covered my meal, my drink and my dessert. The restaurant is in the middle of Amish Country I found an interesting display of signs that I had to take a picture of. I have included a picture of it

Nice and clean restaurant. Very good home made food. Reasonably priced. We just sat in our car in the parking lot for about an hour until the pager they gave us went off. We finally got in at 6pm on a Saturday. Someone told us to get our pie first from the fridge section which was a good strategy as they ran out of some kinds. We loved the big baked beans, butter noodles, corn and the soft serve ice cream. The chicken noodle soup was also good. It was nice to try the place once, but we ate so much we probably won’t go back.

Houston, we have a problem! Desserts! The choices and the amount of them! Let me back up a bit. This was my first experience at a country restaurant and it was absolutely incredible. Nice place, great staff, good food, well priced. I opted for the buffet and everything was delicious. The reason to opt for the buffet was the desserts. Mmmmhmmmm!

Genuine smorgasbords (aka “Amish Buffet”), gives off just a history family owned vibe. Very clean, staff is extremely friendly, and great service. While others might have more options, Dienners did have a good selection but I felt they focus on quality over quantity. The quality really there in every bite of food. So good! The food is really good and tasteful, true to PA Dutch cuisine. There three bars- main, salad, dessert (at least for the lunch we were at). Highly recommend!!!!

Food was great, a definite good pick for comfort food buffet. Interior was a bit cold and cooled off from the cold air inside pretty quick but it was yummy enough to eat quickly anyway. Fair prices and no wait on a busy day. Place was packed and still no wait. Well done to our server too, very nice servers and they clean up quickly

Visited on a Saturday noon and was told the wait would be about 40 minutes. They gave us a buzzer so we could walk around the nearby shops or wait in the car. Luckily, we got called in earlier than expected. The place was very busy, but the food was fresh and tasty. Prices were very reasonable and the servers were pleasant.

The food was great! I had the buffet and my husband had the ham loaf. I highly recommend the buffet and trying a bit of everything. I also highly recommend the shoo fly pie!

Hearing people get 1hr waits made me excited that we had reservations. But then it went down hill. Hostess gave a questioning tone when I asked for 2 high chairs. Waitress spilled water on my phone. Food came in one wave (literally within 5 minutes) including appetizer and main courses. Wings were fine but we got burnt end of the short ribs. Literally took longer to flag a waitress than get it replaced with chicken. Which was chewy. Pretty much the only things we enjoyed were the beer and wings. 3 times we were asked if we wanted to take food home and said no thanks "we didn't really like the food". To which they said "oh okay, have a nice night". Honestly. Good thing the kids were rather quiet and enjoying the cheap cheese pizza. Also, it was more than half empty when we left am hour later. So, wait times seemed like a push for a quiet night.

My husband and I ate here last Thursday for date night. We started with the burnt ends for an appetizer. They were good but a little dry. My husband had a combo platter which includes 1/3 rack of ribs, were seasoned nicely and not smothered in sauce. There is housemade sauce on the table to sauce your own way and brisket. He enjoyed his meal with 2 sides which were fries and Cole slaw. I had platter also and I picked the brisket and smoked turkey. Same issue with the brisket nice thick slices though. The smoked turkey was wonderful. Nice smoky flavor and moist not dry. I also had fries and Cole slaw. We enjoyed our meal and will return in the future

We were staying the night at Amish View Inn and made reservations for dinner. WOW we highly recommend the staff were wonderful. Recommend making reservations before visiting. We had mash potatoes, fried chicken, brisket & coleslaw. Fried chicken was really good. Brisket a little dry. The only downside is that it gets very noisy hard to hear.

This place was great. The service was super friendly and the food was delicious. Our server Mark was on point. Made sure we had our drinks refilled and that our food came out quickly. We got some wings and me and my son both got the 2 meat combo platter that comes with 2 sides. The portions are great and so is the price. I would definitely come back and try another combo platter. The fried chicken was delicious!

Cool BBQ restaurant in Intercourse PA. Not too long of a wait but you can leave your number with the hostess and browse the gift shop until they text you that your table is ready. Once seated our waitress/bartender quickly got our drink orders and once we were served that we put in an order for smoked wings as an appetizer. Dinner followed shortly after. Our kids ate delicious homemade mac and cheese and pasta with marinara (an odd option for a BBQ place but I'm glad they had it) My meal of ribs and fried chicken was ok. Both meats were a little dry. The mashed potatoes were really buttery and the seasonal vegetables were seasoned nicely. My husband enjoyed his half rack of ribs but would have liked them better if they were cooked with BBQ sauce because his were a little dry as well. The desserts were probably the best part of the meal. We ordered one strawberry cheesecake with cookie crumb crust and a large brownie sundae which was large enough for 3 to share. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. The server was polite and attentive and the rest of the staff made sure our table was cleared and we had what we needed.

Berto our server took extra care with us. He was attentive to our special needs son and made him feel comfortable throughout the visit. Also my wife recently had esophageal surgery and he understood her restrictions and made sure to accommodate her. He continued to check on our table throughout our visit and asked us not to worry about anything. It is refreshing to have waiters/servers who actually care. Also Colleen the busboy was amazing at her job. She worked tirelessly there while time we were there. The food was really good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

So I ordered the build your own plate and got the brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was ok, but the brisket was dry and burned.the staff was nice but my server saw me pulling burnt brisket off my plate (I was a server for 12 years and I would have said something like"is there a problem with your meal")...but nothing. The atmosphere was nice had like a rustic look like old timey western look. The pictures they have of food on Google looked so good I was very disappointed.

Great food and service. Food came out super quick and the peanut butter served with dinner rolls was delicious. The Tuesday Special Amish Wedding Meal was amazing, I highly recommend it! Prices are great and portions are large. Family friendly too with large playground sets across the parking lot. It started to get very crowded with a lot of people waiting around 5-5:30 so I’d recommend getting there for an early dinner.

A must stop while in the Strasburg area! Typically during peak times they will be a wait, but we felt it was worth it. The food was hot and delicious! Our server was sweet and attentive! We definitely recommend this restaurant for some authentic Amish food and service 🥰

The wait was about 35 min at 2-3 pm on a Friday. I didn't mind the wait, but it gets crowded/congested fast! Lillian was our server and she was so very nice and attentive. We are visiting from Texas and needed a good warm meal. We were not dissapointed! The rolls and the peanut butter spread were amazing! My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak and enjoyed it. I ordered the grilled fish, Mac n cheese, and a garden salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The staff was so so nice and all with smiles. We also had shofly pie and a pumpkin whoopie pie for dessert. Amazing! Tasted soo good! Highly recommend this place!

We waited in line for about 50 minutes at this restaurant we chose for dinner. The staff were very kind and extremely friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were large. It’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

This place is worth your visit. Staff exceed kindness and attentiveness in every way. And food was simple,classic, and portions that make sure you don’t leave hungry. The dinner rolls were so soft my kids are still talking about them! We are just passing through but if in the area again this will be a returning stop!

We had an AMAZING breakfast at Katie’s Kitchen at 200 Hartman Bridge Road in Ronks, PA! Our server was Rebekka and you couldn’t ask for a sweeter or a more helpful server! Katie’s Kitchen is an owned and operated Amish-staffed restaurant on Rt. 896. It has a dining room with indoor counter and booth seating; as well as outdoor shaded picnic tables. They are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner every day except Sunday and Monday. They are open 7:30am- 7:00pm. On Saturday, they close at 6:00 pm. They offer Pennsylvania Dutch favorites including Amish desserts and soft-serve ice cream for dine-in or take out. The restaurant also offers catering service for events. Katie’s Kitchen has been opened since 2006. If you are looking for a delicious breakfast with Amish atmosphere, please look no further and try Katie’s Kitchen. They even have a very small but cute area that sells Amish goods (jams, children and adult Amish clothing and souvenirs). Rebekka left us a Bible Verse on the back of our bill!❤️

You probably haven’t had a breakfast like this since you were a kid at Grandmas house. HUGE portions and amazing. These fried potatoes! Oh my! Taste like they were soaked in cream and butter for a week before frying. That bacon I swear was squealing an hour ago. Then the friendly Amish / Mennonite staff just topped it off. My wife now wants to move here just to have this breakfast in the mornings but within a month she’d be the size of that cow across the road, so we’ll stay in West Virginia. I don’t know if these are the people that will prepare the marriage supper of the lamb, but I’ve put in a request for breakfast the next morning.

Great place.. a little hot inside but a big variety of foods, bakery items, vegetables, meats and trinkets and much more. This cupcake place was amazing. Prettiest cupcakes I've seen. They said they are planning on getting a shop soon. I wish them lots of luck.😊

Had a great time visiting Lancaster Central market. Vendors galore, from fresh cut flowers to meats and cheeses produce souvenirs and hot food. Pricing was absolutely amazing and everyone was very friendly. Loved walking through seeing everything. Baked goods and beautiful cupcakes.

Loved this marketplace where I can get baked goods, candies and treats as well as soup mixes and pancake mix. We sat down and had breakfast at the counter and the eggs were perfect. Very nice people work here. They have handmade crafts and gift items as well.

I recently visited this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! The apple cider latte was amazing - not too sweet and something I could drink every day. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Exciting and very busy place on a Saturday. We arrived to check it out on a lovely bright sunny day. Food vendors inside and out musicians the smell of baked goods and coffee. We looked at all of our choices for lunch and decided on ntwo deli sandwiches from Deli Grassi which was turkey with peppers,, lettuce and tomatoes on freshly baked bread from Philly. $26 for two sandwiches. Had two cokes and got some Boston custard donuts from the Amish Red Maple Bakery. Very crowded and you have to pay to park. So many choices inside and out check it out for yourself. 🌹

Absolutely loved this indoor market. If you like fresh veggies, locally sourced milk products, fresh meat, etc., you will love Central Market. It gets busy as the morning moves on, so get your items early. The fudge from Uncle Leroy's Candy Kitchen and the beef sticks sold by S. Clyde Weaver are top notch. Vendors we purchased from were friendly and worked efficiently. Loved the fresh vegetable stands as well. You will need to pay for parking and watch your time closely! Allow at least an hour if you are someone who likes to peruse nearly every vendor.

First time here. Heard this place has a great reviews so we give a shot. Love the ambience of two stories restaurant reminds me when you’re going to mirror mazes at the amusement park lol. Foods are okay different style, decent portions and too pricey. Outstanding service. Drinks were excellent either cocktail and mocktail. Love the God’s country so definitely will be try something else in the area.

This was our first time here! We were happy to be able to get a 4:45 reservation on a Saturday the day before. Our upstairs server (Elizabeth, I think?) was friendly, kind and witty. Luckily we came during restaurant week, which was not planned, and they had a lovely special going on, which I took advantage of. I was able to get an appetizer, meal and dessert for $65, which was a phenomenal price! The only item I didnt care for was the lobster bisque. Everything else was absolutely delicious, not that the bisque was terrible. We will definitely be back again.

We had the most amazing wedding anniversary dinner here. Reservations are a must because the Belvedere is so popular. But since we had a reservation, were welcomed and quickly ushered to our table. Our waitress Ari was so attentive and was so apologetic when we had a bill discrepancy that I caught. The food was perfection. My wife loved her lavender cocktail. It even had a sprig of dried lavender in it! We both gushed over the Chocolate Hazelnut Rocher. It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. And of course the Chicken Piccata and Grilled Filet Mignon were expertly presented and tasted amazing. And I can't forget my Petite grilled Caesar Salad. Also excellent. An evening to remember. We will be back.

We went with another couple and had a very good dinner. We split two salads that I forgot to take a picture of and then had chicken piccata, duck breast and salmon. The chicken was a particularly large serving. We had glasses of wine and cocktails so our bill was pretty high.

My husband and I decided to eat here for our first wedding anniversary on September 7th. We have been here before and fell in love with the food, the atmosphere, and the drinks. However, they simply dropped the ball during this visit. Everything, and I genuinely mean each food item we ordered, from the salad, to the burger, to the salmon dish we ordered was ruined by the overwhelming taste of salt. The belvie bread and sliders were the only good items we ordered. I did complain to my waitress regarding the saltiness of our food and she offered to have it remade, but even the salads we received before the main course were salty and I saw no point. I ended up not eating the burger as I genuinely couldn’t consume it and calling it a day. Other than that, the waitress didn’t offer to reduce the prices of the meals or offer any other solution. We paid the full $27 for an inedible burger, and full price for the salmon that was also just insanely salty. Due to this experience, I am highly disappointed and don’t really see myself spending more money here in the future.

The only 5 star I've ever put for a restaurant. I had the burger and chip dip. The burger was melt in your mouth like butter, probably the best burger I ever had, got it in medium. The lobster chip dip was also the best chip I've ever eaten. Definitely top 5 restaurants in my list.

Really spectacular overall, I loved everything about my dining experience. The dining rooms are fabulous, as is the outdoor patio where I could often smell the fresh flowers still blooming all around the table. The service was friendly and unobtrusive with excellent recommendations. The food was very well prepared. The tuna crudo with apple was so refreshing, the salmon cooked perfectly with the most flavorful lentils I've ever had, and the steak with foie gras potato puree was a show stopper. Everything was seasoned perfectly. There are layers of flavor in each bite of all the plates I tasted. Cherry pistachio cheesecake was also amazing. Excellent dinner!

Olde Mill Restaurant is a hidden gem you absolutely need to add to your itinerary! We had the pleasure of dining here during our stay at The Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village, and we received a voucher for a free appetizer with the purchase of two entrées—such a thoughtful touch and a perfect way to complete our experience. The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. From the first bite to the last, everything exceeded our expectations. The customer service was top tier—the staff was warm, welcoming, and had the kind of friendly, smiling faces that make you feel like family. It was no surprise to learn that the same wonderful owner of the Inn & Spa, Carl, also owns this restaurant. You can feel the same spirit of excellence and intentional hospitality in every part of the experience. One thing to note: you’ll order your drinks separately, but don’t let that deter you. The quality of the food, the outstanding service, and the cozy atmosphere make it well worth the visit. This place made our trip even more special—we’ll absolutely be returning!

This restaurant is trying too hard. The liquor is handle by another party. Don't get the chicken meal cause it's an airline wing at and it's $28.00 with no food. (They will explain it to you it's an Airline wing at like it some kind of royal food) Lexis our server didn't tell us her name we didn't know her name till we got the bill she young but come on. (When got our food she no where to be found my husband had to get someone else and this other guy came over to explain the chicken who cares he doesn't want it make as royal as you want.) I will share a picture of the chicken meal so you will see not worth $28.00. My salad was ok too much dressing it was swimming. My mom got a salam sandwich she really liked it. She thinks the best sandwich there. Oh the paid the Amish to eat there. The Liquor is handled by wine company. My sangria was good but not much fruit in my mom got the wine flight and my husband got a whiskey sour I think. I wanted another drink I told are server I really didn't think she told the woman but then she finally came. My husband ordered a burger that was much better. Now breakfast you have go to this restaurant for the breakfast and I thought the other people were rude staying there no they were just fighting for the food. The local Amish eat there for free to give Amish atmosphere and it's insane and then breakfast is over get there on time cause the locals come and take everything that's left my husband asked one of the guys that worked and he yeah they allow that here I just work here. By time we got there was no yogurt they had fo fill the eggs and you had to wait. Be careful when leave there horse poop all over the roads cause you need that atmosphere you really don't you see them in the area. But get there early. It was very stressful.

What a wonderful experience I had I have nothing bad to say about this amazing place. The food was phenomenal the servers and all of The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like family even the owner was there and came to our table and spoke to us directly. The bacon wrapped scallops so delicious and the pork chop just juicy as ever no complaints here. If you’re in the area, definitely stop in cause I’ll definitely be back!

We were excited to try a new place as we are from out of state. The waitress was friendly. The food looked good but was barely warm and had no flavor, like the cook forgot to use seasoning. Both the dishes that were ordered were sent back and we were only refunded for one which I disagree with since we didn't eat them. The place was quiet which I can understand now why it wasn't busy. Would not go back, very disappointing.

My husband and I recently enjoyed dinner at this restaurant using a coupon for a free appetizer with two entrees from the Inn and Spa at Intercourse. My husband had Beef Tips and a lovely salad. I had Linguine with Grilled Vegetables. We started our meal with bacon wrapped scallops. Our food was served hot, tasted very good, and was beautifully presented. We also had old fashioneds served by the bar. Overall, our dining experience was very pleasant. The staff were friendly from the bartender to our waitress, Abigail. We would definitely return when in the area again.

I worked with Carl to plan a surprise birthday dinner for my mother. He was very responsive, thorough, and helpful planning our large party meal. My mother was so pleased, and they were so accommodating to young children we had with us. Our server and the bartender were wonderful as well. Thank you for everything!

The service was was really good. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The food was not as great. The salad i had was really good with the house made dressing. The bacon wrapped scallops were pretty good. The spinach and artichoke dip really wasn't that great and the stuffed salmon was OK. I love risotto so I tried it and I was a bit disappointed.

Fairly good dining experience for us. Food was very good. However, we probably won't come back here for the breakfast buffet. We both felt it was not as good as the massive buffet nearby in comparison. Service was great! Our server was very attentive and pleasant. One question I had was why the drinks were not included in the buffet?

Yoder’s offers both all-you-can-eat and menu options, with plenty of food if you’re not a picky eater. However, I wasn’t impressed with the selection. The corn fritters were disappointing, the prime rib was just okay, and salad bar missing items which made the offerings feel a bit lacking. The desserts were also a letdown: while there were plenty to choose from, many were dry or just had no flavor. It’s clear the place is popular with locals, but I found the atmosphere unwelcoming. The staff was friendly, which I appreciated, but overall, I wouldn’t eat here again.

I was really looking forward to this place, especially since the Airbnb host recommended it to me the first night visiting PA. I deducted the first star since the food selection is limited, especially for people with dietary restrictions. I really did not get to do the buffet since I have a shellfish, seafood, pork, dairy allergy. I deducted the second star since I ordered the sirloin steak meal expecting to receive a steak. I was thrown off to receive a hamburger instead; when I asked the waitress, I was informed that this restaurant does not serve steak. The third star was deducted since the waffle my grandma got was mushy and soggy. Otherwise, the staff was a helpful and polite bunch of people. Overall, the staff made the experience worthwhile; otherwise, I realistically would not recommend this place, nor would my family.

Wooooahhhhhh!!!! This place has got THEE BEST DARN FOOD IN P.A.!!!!! I TRIED THE BIG ONE DOWN THE ROAD.. nope not even close, one the place is much cleaner, fresher, and down right better food . Yummmmmmmm

Our go to buffet had long lines so we decided to try something new. Yoders was a pleasant alternative. There was ample choices, everything was fresh and plentiful from the salad bar to the desserts. They offer a senior discount but you have to remember to ask, there is a modest gift shop but the dining area has no personality. My tea water was luke warm and the check comes with tip suggestions which I thought were humorous if you're ordering the buffet but they have an al a carte menu too.

We have been visiting Lancaster for 20-plus years and never strayed from Miller's smorgasbord. After seeing numerous reviews and Facebook posts, we decided to give it a try. Worst decision. Food was lacking in taste, freshness, and appearance. We went on a Tuesday when they had salmon and prime rib, the young man working the grill looked like he was being forced to be there. Salmon was burned on 1 side, prime rib dry without flavor. There was a make-your-own baked potato area—potatoes seemed steamed more than baked, and topping area items were not at the correct temperature. The broasted chicken was overcooked and dry, the fish cakes were disappointing, and the salad bar items also had no flavor. The garlic bread tasted like it was made at lunch and left under the heat lamps, the rolls were cold, and the cinnamon rolls were so cold the frosting did not move on them. The only thing that was ok was the mashed potatoes. The dessert area is lackluster, with sheet cakes and basic pies, and the ice cream melts as soon as you put any topping on it. The server was nice but really should have inquired as to why we never finished any food item. I think she knew and was embarrassed to ask. This place was a no-go. I have been working in the food service industry for years, and unless you have no taste buds, this food is awful. Stay away! I will continue to eat at Miller's for a buffet.

I decided to ignore reviews and just try it out. The food was soooo bland. Salt and pepper did not help. Not many options for the buffet. Servers were trash maybe because i wasnt there color. You can feel the difference in vibes once we stepped in. Price was ridiculous 60$ for 2 people with one plate each. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t come back.

What a great place! We called ahead and went there with A LOT of family (9 little kids, 11 adults) and they were so pleasant and helpful! Most of us got the buffet, and it’s a great value! With delicious food! The best part was how happy they were to serve! They made us feel so welcomed!

We got the buffet choice and this restaurant was SO tasty and nice!!!! I loved the veggie pakora and this is so cheap for its amazing quality/quantity. We were recommended by two people to go here and I also highly recommend Himalayan!

My boyfriend and I love coming to this restaurant! It’s our favorite spot on Mondays for the buffet or any day that we’re craving comfort food. I specifically want to point out one night we came a little late for the buffet. Instead of pushing us out or being upset that we came last minute— they made us feel right at home, offering additional food and leaving the buffet open a little longer for us to get seconds. Words can not describe how good this place is - you just have to try it. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Pennsylvania. I’ve tried Indian and Nepalese cuisine all over the world and this place surpasses all of them - the flavors, the prices, the hospitality, the consistency, the atmosphere… I am vegan and going somewhere that’s not primarily vegan but can accommodate so effortlessly makes it that much more special. 🧚🏼✨✨✨💌 Thank for this gift in our community!

A local gem, and a family favorite as well. We have never been disappointed with Himalayan, from take-out to dining in with the buffet or ordering off the menu. Outstanding value for the price -- no one serves better Indian or Nepalese food in the region. The tikka masala is their showstopper, but everything from the Manchurian cauliflower and pakoras to the many curries and kormas are worth trying. And make sure you get plenty of naan for the table!

Was there last Friday. Overall, food was okay but service was awful. Specifically, my daughter didn't like her food and after I notified the waiter, he immediately explained that I had to pay for it. Never experienced anything like that at a restaurant. Ever. I never said I wasn't going to pay for the dish. He later offered to replace the dish but by then, our table was disgusted. I started not to tip because of it but decided against that. I don't ever do these reviews but felt compelled to write this one because of the bad experience.

I was as truly looking forward to trying the crepes here, but unfortunately, what we received was far from even a decent version. My crepe was even drizzled with a very bright, artificial-looking syrup. On the positive side, the place itself is charming and beautifully decorated, with indoor and patio seating. The coffee was also quite good. If you're new to crepes, you might find them acceptable, but if you're expecting delicious crepes, I'd suggest trying something else on the menu.

Such a cute spot with charming decorations and a warm, cozy vibe that makes it feel instantly welcoming. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, along with lots of parking either in the back or across the street, which makes it really convenient. The drink selection is excellent, and both the hot chocolate and coffee were both delicious. The crepes were also fantastic; we tried a few different flavors and they were 10/10 across the board. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy good food in a homey atmosphere.

We were highly encouraged to stop by Rachel's on our way back from Hershey and it did not disappoint! The crepes are amazing and the kids loved the smoothies! Everyone in our group tried something different and all of us were thrilled. Our new strategy is going to be savory first and then split some of the sweeter options for dessert on our certain return visit. Definitely expect a reasonable wait, but also well worth it. We are already planning our next selections.

We got here 20 min after opening and it was already packed, yet just enough room to be seated right away. We got pumpkin cookie dough cappuccinos that were delicious. The crepes did not disappoint. Our waitress recommended sauces that paired well and I'm so glad we got them. A comforting and memorable meal! Definitely worth waiting even though we didn't have to.

This place gets very busy on a Saturday morning. We got here around 1030am. A wait line to be seated. They do have outdoor seating as well as indoor. Once seated, we were able to order our food. The waitress recommended the French toast crepe, so I picked that one. Very good and can definitely taste the cinnamon which i enjoyed.

We’ve been here several years in a row. First (and last) time. It was not busy at all, our waitress Stella took our order and that’s it. Never saw her again. Another waitress delivered our food. I watched the other waitress repeatedly checking on her tables. It used to be a lot better.

Really good specialty crepes. They are extra large, very filling, but also very tasty. You can't go wrong with any of them. The Oyler and the Thai were particularly good. The wait can be long but worth it. Tons of things to do while waiting around the area. Definitely a must when in downtown Lancaster.

First time ever going to a Fuddruckers and the burger was absolutely delicious. The burger itself was cooked perfectly for being medium and the burger wasn't dried out, it was fresh and juicy with the cheese melted right on top. The buns were nice and fluffy with the insides crispy from the stove top. It just put me in awe when biting into the burger. I also love how you can go up to get the toppings for your burger. Stepping away from the burger, the milkshakes are delicious, rich, and served in the old style milkshake glasses. They make the milkshakes right there and it's awesome. I highly recommend this place. Great for anyone to go to for a great burger!

Thank you guys for continuing to remain open despite so many closing! This is my favorite restaurant and I can’t find them anymore. We visited from Chicago and we HAD to make this visit part of our itinerary! The food is delicious as always and the place was packed! My wife first told me she loved me in your parking lot four years ago minus four days! Everything is so nostalgic about this place - the paper towel roll napkins, the fries and burgers, the pristine burger topping bar, the black cauldrons of hot cheese, the wonderful shakes! To anyone reading this, make sure to make this restaurant part of your next Hershey park visit or just come because you’re hungry!

As a kid, I went on annual Lancaster/Hershey trips with my family and we always came to this Fuddruckers. I went here today for the first time in over a decade and it's still the best! I tried the turkey burger and it was cooked perfectly- not dried out and lots of seasoning. They still have the big toppings bar and claw machines that I remember from childhood 🤩 Staff was very friendly especially with us coming in <60 min before closing. Glad I got to make a stop here again after so long!

Amber and Kevin was very helpful and patient and I couldn’t make up my mind between the elk and bison so I went with bison. Veggie and toppings are on the bar and unlimited fries are awesome we need a fuddruckers in Tennessee please. Great food! Great place.

The crispy chicken is a soggy grease logged artificial chicken patty made of chopped processed chicken ish parts. I could only eat one bite. The place is also very dated.

One of the better sticky buns I have ever had. The icing portion is also very generous. Happy to have randomly found this place!

This is the 2nd time we ordered for pick-up. Pick-up was great and lady was awesome. However, we ordered 2 dozen sticky buns 12 with walnuts and 12 without. There was so much cinnamon on these you can hardly eat them. You literally choke on how much cinnamon is in these. You have to scrape off alot of the cinnamon to even eat it. Next time I will definitely say not alot of cinnamon next time. Shew....ugh.

I drove down to grab some buns for the family and when i got home I put in 20 minute on the elliptical to burn off the calories I got from smelling them during the drive. It was fantastic. I found the cinnamon roll with icing to be more balanced than the extremely sweet sticky bun, but you owe it to yourself to try both. Fantastic.

My favorite cinnamon rolls ever! They are SO good. The service is always super friendly, and they’re also extremely affordable. I’ve also had the pleasure of ordering these via shipping to a family member, and it was very quick and easy.

Best cinnamon buns I have ever tasted. One of the store workers said they start baking at 3am at this location. I can imagine the smell of cinnamon everywhere. We didn’t like the walnut sticky so much or the maple cream cheese dip. We loved the plain cinnamon buns. Just the right amount of sweet. They said you could freeze them so we bought some plain cinnamon buns to take home. The prices are very reasonable. There are places to sit and eat outside. Next door is some tourist information with a nice gallery of locally made goods and bathrooms.

The Walnut Sticky bun may be the most indulgent thing I’ve ever eaten. These guys could literally put Cinnabon out of business. Prices are very reasonable but remember to call ahead if you want a dozen or more!

We stopped in to get some sticky and cinnamon buns. We were very disappointed. They buns were served to us cold and when we went up and asked about it we were told that you have to ask for them to be heated up when you order them. She didn’t offer to heat them for us. We asked for napkins and they didn’t have any. Customer service needs some improvement.

Very friendly and nice people that work here. Like a mom and pop store that serves you pie or various food stuff. Lots of trinkets and crafts as well. A nice stop for a snack. No seating though, except for some rocking chairs in the back room.

This was my first time trying shoo-fly pie so I wanted to get it homemade somewhere in Amish country. It was really good; not sickeningly sweet like some gooey pies can be. The ice cream was good too. The coffee was just okay. Next door is an awesome vintage/antique/handmade store with two stories, full of cute vintage books, jewelry, decor, kitchenware, clothes, stickers, and more. I could wander around for hours!

It’s been around since 1946. Lots of Amish souvenirs to look at! We were warmly greeted and served samples of a shop-fly pie, which we ended up buying. Attached parking.

Several friends had recommended this place to me before my trip, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations ✨. First of all, their signature dessert, the shoo-fly pie, is simply delicious. I'd never tried it before, and in fact, it's what they make you taste as soon as you walk in. I later learned it's the most traditional dessert of Dutch Pennsylvania 🥧. The place has a small front parking lot, but there's a large parking lot in the back, which I recommend 🅿️. From the outside, the place is very picturesque and ideal for taking photos with the windmill. Upon entering, you realize it's not just a bakery but also sells all kinds of souvenirs, furniture, and home decor. What we liked most were the Amish crafts; they're simply beautiful, so we took several things home with us. The service was also very friendly and patient. We asked many questions, and they always answered us with a smile. Oh, and one more thing: the place has bathrooms 🚻. I recommend stopping by and checking out this lovely place. ✅

I loved this place, the have delicious pie, they also sell jam, sauces, and other foods of the Amish tradition, they have a lot of things you can use for gift or just souvenir. The service is very good, also the coffee was amazing. I totally recommend.

Any time I am within an hour of this place, I make the drive to get a cup of root beer and a shoo fly pie! I grew up experiencing the magic of this area of PA and now I get to pass that on to my kiddo. There is something so comforting about that darn pie! This time I also grabbed some delicious jams and apple butter and my son got a pencil sharpener that has a globe that spins on it he really likes. I love looking at all the unique wares and wood furniture here.

Easily one of the BEST lattes I've ever had, and I don't give that compliment lightly. Everything we had was delicious, from drinks and apps to the main entrées it was all well made and high quality. It was pretty busy when we got there (8 pm on a Wednesday) which was surprising but we had a reservation so there was no wait and it mostly cleared out around 815. The only thing that took away from the experience was how little we saw our waitress, wish she would've checked on the table more after it cleared out.

This place is is a must try. The ambience is warm with a rustic and light industrial feel. Very thoughtful lighting and an open kitchen. One thing that is very cool is that they proudly display a photo of Anthony Bourdain on the kitchen hood. I recommend doing what we did. We brought a group of 6 guests and ordered literally half of the menu to share. This way, we were able to try so much. Every dish we had was spectacular. I highly recommend the chicken, hanger steak, flatbread and the bolognese. We tried every single desert and they were all outstanding! The service was top notch. Our server was Alison and she was fantastic. She was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. To top it off, Chef Nate came out to our table to greet us and share his passion for cuisine. He’s a very bright young man and rich with talent. It shines through in the food. When I say that Luca is a must try, I mean it. I highly recommend.

Was sent to Luca as a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. This restaurant is chic as soon as you walk in, and the food matches the vibes. I came in as a solo diner and sat at the bar. Wine by the glass selection could be wider, but the cab blend was tasty. The stand out items for me were the gem lettuce salad with the focaccia croutons as well as the tiramisu. So delicious! The kitchen sent out arancini on the house, which I thought was very kind. I got the gnocchi and it was good but wish I tried the pizza. I watched it being made from the bar and it looked outstanding. Highly recommend this spot for a date night or even solo dinner, but better when you have a larger party so you can try a bunch of different items.

We have enjoyed dining at Luca since they opened several years ago. The food has been consistent and has always been a treat. Recently, I had the Bronzino which was outstanding. This was the best meal ever at Luca. The fish was excellent, the vegetables were fresh, and the sauce was amazing. Well done Luca!! Thank you for a fun evening.

The food there is good but overpriced! You can get burrata cheese but it doesn’t come with anything to dip it in so you have to get a side for it. The bar was wide open when we arrived and they told us we had an hour because the spots were reserved? I get it’s a popular place with a really cool vibe and great wine and food but I’ve never heard of spots at a bar being reserved.

We were fortunate to enjoy both the pizzeria and the Luca restaurant on consecutive days. Saturday night, the pizzeria was slammed. The staff was pleasant and empathetic. The pizza was well-worth the wait. A private event held at the Luca restaurant was divine. From start to finish, the staff was attentive, the food was so delicious and the cocktails fresh and original. The Amaro mule was yummy. The cheese and meat charcuterie was spot on. The Bolognese was to die for. I had three servings! A great location, wonderful people and amazing food. What are you waiting for??

One of my favorite spots in Lancaster. Picante pizza is always my go-to, but their pasta and seasonal dishes are also excellent. I never get tired of coming here.

You can eat breakfast in an hotel and be anywhere in the world this place was uniquely American and was amazing! Awesome 🙌 service, brilliant choices on a huge menu, very clean and welcoming! I ordered too much but still ❤️ loved it. Easy parking and great people.

First time in the area where I was looking for a great breakfast choice. I wasn't disappointed. The food was presented well and tasted amazingly, like directly from Auntie kitchen.

We were sat immediately and our waitress was very friendly. Food came out quickly. We got a Philly with fries and a fried fish dinner. The sub was very large and tasty. The fish was great homemade tartar sauce. This came with two sides and a salad. The coleslaw was very good and sweet, the sweet potato fries were good, even came with a maple dipping sauce. The only complaint was the salad, the lettuce was turning brown. The salad dressing however tasted homemade. I would definitely go back again!

Top notch diner experience! Mimosas added to the scrumptious breakfast options. Farm fresh and flavorful. Service is fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Ours made great food recommendations. Very clean inside. The dessert counter had me drooling over the fantastic cupcakes. Prices are extremely reasonable and you get large food portions. This is a must stop if you are in the area. Photos show the creamed chip beef over hash browns and sourdough toast, chicken tenders and onion rings and the Western Omelette with Rye toast. Delicious!

Loved the Diner! Great job on our waitress, her second day at work, serving party of 10! YAY!!! Amount of food you get with the price was unbelievable. Shrimp stuffed with crab meat, French Onion Soup, coleslaw, sweet potato fries, burger, chicken sandwich, meatloaf, crab cakemelt, Ruben, you name it and all so delicious! Now, the desserts, WOW! There's no words to describe how good the desserts were! Just melts in your mouth!

Such an amazing shop!!! They have TONS of handmade products included quilted items and woodwork. As well as canned goods and baked goods. They also sell handmade soft pretzels, ice cream, lemonade and root beer. The pretzels were the best I ever had!! So good. There is a playground for the kids to burn off some energy and some farm animals that you can feed! The goats were adorable. Definetly make time to stop here on your trip to Amish country!

while in the area we wanted to get pretzels for a snack, so we looked on Reddit to see where people recommend and this place was mentioned. I'm so glad we stopped! it's a bit out of the way compared to everything on the main route 340, but well worth the trip! we got pretzels and root beer floats and while everyone was finishing up, I decided to walk around the shop inside. they have a great variety of gifts and items, but on the far wall there is a bee hive encased in glass. I wanted a better look and noticed an outside area with some goats, turkeys and chickens. we ended up feeding all of the animals for a bit - they have a dispenser that gives you a small handful of food for 25 cents. there is a restroom right there so you can wash your hands right after. it turned out to be a great place to stop for a fun outing!

Did a Lancaster pretzel tour and this place was at the top of my list. Pretzel was baked to a nice crisp with a strong buttery coating. The inside was soft and chewy like it should be. Lemonade was other drinks were good and the country store had a ton of cool stuff too.

I go here every year. I even have it saved on my google maps. The pretzels are so good. They have homemade soaps and alot of nice things in the store. They have an animal farm in the back where you can pay .25 cents to feed them or you can buy a loaf of bread in the store to feed them. The animals are my favorite part :).

My favorite Amish store in Pennsylvania!!! I’ve been going there for over 10 years. They have the best homemade pretzels I’ve ever tried in my life. Nice and soft. Their lavender lemonade is to die for They have a bunch of little goodies like shoo fly pie of course. They have a little bit of everything! If you’re going down to Lancaster, I recommend making this your first stop as their prices are super super affordable, whatever you can’t find here, THEN Find it somewhere else because I promise you— You can’t beat them

Best pretzel I've ever had. (I ate some before taking the picture)

I grew up eating Auntie Anne's pretzels. I love them. This place is way better. I got 2 pretzels for cheaper than 1 at Auntie Anne's and they tasted better. They were the best soft pretzels that I have ever eaten in my life. I got the sour cream and onion, as well as the garlic and herb. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

I do not leave many reviews, but had to leave one for Hinkle's. The super cute old time soda counter is why we decided to stop in. We were in the area on vacation, and were wasting time in a nearby antique shop when the security guard heard me say Hinkle's. He directed me to a "golden ticket" coupon for a free scoop of ice cream, just a little extra. But anyway, the ice cream counter is not the only thing "old fashioned" about Hinkle's. The staff were so pleasant and truly kind, the food was very good quality, hot and fresh, and at a very reasonable price. They really make you feel welcomed, even the hostess I was blocking as I stood up from my booth to snap a pic of the counter while it was empty. The appetizer sampler was the best we have had in years. The chicken tenders were actually nice, big, whole tenders too. Even the restroom stop made me smile, with old fashioned toilet paper holders! If we lived nearby, we would be regulars for sure. We will be stopping by next time we are in the area. A small treasure amid the overpriced tourist traps in the area.

This is a wonderful restaurant that will take you back in time. The old-fashioned soda fountain and general store/gift shop are very quaint. Bright and open atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff will make your visit memorable. Easy access to Route 30 and located within walking distance to many local shops. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Great local restaurant with a diner old fashioned feel, if has been in business for over 100 years. Food was great and service people friendly. Right off route 30, perfect place to grab a bite to eat.

My parents talked very highly of this place so my girlfriend and I decided to try it out and overall I was fairly disappointed. We ordered a blt and chicken tenders. The blt had two little pieces of bacon on it and I paid two dollars to add hot honey to my meal and it was just enough honey to cover the bottom. I asked if I could have more honey because it was so little and they said they would have to charge me two more dollars. Food was decent the fries were seasonless and somewhat cold. Onion rings were alright.

We stopped by on a busy Sunday, so we didn’t mind the wait. The service provided by Anya was outstanding! She was attentive and personable. Our 3 meals came out just as ordered and we were all pleased with lunch & dessert. Anya offered to take a photo of our group and welcomed us back to see her.

Our first visit for breakfast. Anya was our server, and although it took 40 minutes to receive our order, it was worth the wait. The Creamed Dried Beef was full of flavor and the best I’ve ever eaten. I ordered it over home fries. The Coffee was robust and refills were free. My date had eggs over easy ( dippy) , with homefries, bacon and freshly baked toast. Everything was prepared perfectly. Great atmosphere with views of Market area in Historic Columbia PA. We will return especially for the Peanut Butter Milkshake which was recommended by another patron.

Every staff member that I encountered was very personable. The hostess Sara, welcomed us and even stopped over to check on us and offer her recommendation for a sweet treat. Sam our waiter was very attentive and prompt. June our busser was also friendly and stopped to chat with us. A very hometown feel. Locals dining and celebrating all around us.

We take the long, non-Philly route between our house and NJ kids, and now we'll be adding this as our usual stop for sustenance on the return. Everything was fresh and delicious. The home fries were amazing. The homemade strawberry jam was delightful. The entire place, including the restroom, was clean and simple. And the coffee was not bitter. Now to go back for lunch!

Some of the BEST homemade food we have ever had!! The peach tea is as amazing as everyone says! The homemade rolls with that strawberry jam…there’s nothing like it! The service was great! Our server Anna was the absolute sweetest person you could ever meet! The ambiance made it feel like you were in someone’s kitchen. The mural in the dining room is so cool! 1000000/10 can’t wait to come back again!

Stopped by for an early dinner after driving around Lancaster. Service was fast and friendly and the food was good. The roast beef was very tender and well seasoned and so was the half rack of ribs. It was fall off the bone tender and delicious.

October 2025, we tried Hometown kitchen for the first time. First impression was excellent. The service was amazing. Our server was fast and friendly. The portions were large and prepared perfectly. The dining room was extremely clean. The restrooms were spotless. I absolutely recommend eating here.

This place was THE HIGHLIGHT of our eating experience while visiting Lancaster and it's surrounding areas!! Quaint and warm atmosphere. Anna was the BESTEST hostess/server!! She was warm, personable and lovely...a beautiful spirit!! The food was truly the bestest!! Served hot and full of flavor!! Drove 9 miles out of our way for dinner here based on very strong reviews. It was worth the drive. The outside looked unremarkable and plain but don't let that fool you. As we entered we were struck with how immaculately clean the entire interior was including the open kitchen. All the food was homemade and fresh with ample portions. The service could not have been more accommodating. Our server, Marcie was a delight. A great value. It's a new "GoTo" for us.

Everything was delicious! We had the chicken pot pie and the ham balls. We highly recommend those items and we will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Decided to eat here because we were staying at the hotel before going to the Renaissance fair. The food was good and the drinks were delicious. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we were there so service was very attentive and quick. Overall a good experience and convenient for anyone already at the hotel or sports center

We dinner and breakfast. The dinner was fine. Big portions and tasty. But breakfast, that was a different story. The charged $15 for a buffet that wasn’t as good as free ones in hotels by the interstate. French toast was dry & hard. Oatmeal was cold. I saw a group walk in, look over the buffet and leave.

First time at this restaurant was May 27th, '23. My son and I went for dinner around 6:00 pm. We enjoyed our meal. The food came out hot and it was made well. We were surprised at the large portions that we received. Our waitress (Janesa) was very friendly and attentive. The only thing that I wasn't impressed with was the restaurant itself, I found it to be a bit dim and no ambience. However, the food was good so, I would definitely recommend this place.

Service was a little disjointed at first, bit stepped up the pace during the meal and did a good job. Manager walked by me while I waited at the host stand, then watched him fail to acknowledge the patrons while he questioned a waiter tring to seat me if staff would be in. High school kids waiting tables did a good job. Quinoa salad had no greens, ok. I asked for a big bowl of Arugala, combined the two and it turned in to a 1st rate salad. French fries are good.

Jambalaya was great. Personable service. Family style atmosphere. Surprised afterwards when friends claimed it has a so-so reputation.

Good gyros and a nice little place. The interior is nothing special - just a little casual restaurant with small tables. The people are extremely friendly, so it feels quite welcoming. The food was good and I would go back!

Drove here after checking out the reviews! The gyro was delicious! I thought it was a bit strange they had gyro options with French fries in them but I ordered the one without, and loved it! The hummus & pita was also very good. The only thing I didn't care for was their Greek dressing (was a bit salty). Would definitely come back!

I had a lunch meeting at Souvlaki Boys recently and was able to make accommodations to my order due to the polite staff. I Waited for what felt like a normal amount of time for my food, however a staff member still came to my table to acknowledge that it had been a long wait. He offered me free baklava to thank me for waiting. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of this type of service in the middle of a busy lunch rush-- and my food was absolutely delicious.

authentic greek food at its finest. know the saying "the messier the sandwich, the better"? well their gyros are super messy but super worth it! after eating the pita and its contents I had a FULL plate of what had fell out. freaking delicious. friendly staff and chill atmosphere. go to greek place when we're in the area

The atmosphere and service were great but the food was honestly horrible. Like we left wishing we hadn’t eaten anything. We spent like $60 and the only thing we actually wanted was the drinks. The soup was like it was canned or something and it was separated and my husband said he barely got down what he ate of the burger. But the people were nice…..

I had the clam cheddar cheese soup and he had the pepper jack tomato bisque soup. Both were delicious. I had a half whooping crane sandwich (turkey on pretzel bun)and he had the half Salty Eagle (ham on pretzel bun). While the sandwiches were fine, The soups are the real stars. They also gave us a pickle appetizer. The waitress was great. The food is a little overpriced but the soup is worth it.

I am only giving this location 2 stars because of the service we received from our server and the managers. My bill for 2 people came to just over $54.00. No alcohol. Just water. Well, I ordered soda water and my friend ordered regular water. When I got the bill I was shocked. Issac's used to be affordable for lunch. My friend's cup of soup was $7.49. Her spinach salad was over $12.00..and she got a protein, a black bean burger which added another $4.50. For a black bean burger. Wonder what they charged for meat. The real shocker came when I realized that I was charged $3.49 for soda water, the price of a soft drink. I have NEVER been charged for soda water. I can't even tell you how ridiculous this is. I got a black bean burger and potato chips for around $12.50. It was okay. I got a side of friend pickles for 8.49. They were pretty good. The manager took that off my bill, which I am grateful for. But if you are looking for outrageous prices and mediocre food, by all means, go to Issac's. However, for about $20 more, you could go to someplace like Harvest, with fresher food and no charge for soda water. Issac's used to be a value lunch. Now they are just taking the piss really. It's probably to pay for the expensive liquor licenses that they have now. I don't mind paying for good service and good food. But this is really out of line. Shame on you, Issac owners, for gouging the public. You're probably not going to be around for very much longer at these prices. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

If you read my previous posts you’ll see I don’t usually leave negative reviews unless ABSOLUTELY warranted. This is one of those times. We arrived mid-day on a Thursday and were the only customers. The server was quick to ask us what we wanted for drinks, which is as it should be. We then ordered food, and it came out rather quickly. This was the end of the happiness. First, for $10 my daughter got a reheated small bowl of Kraft macaroni and cheese and a few fries. Ridiculous. Secondly, the server never checked on us until it was time to pay. Never asked how the food was, if we needed anything else, how we were. Remember, we were the ONLY customers here. We could hear everyone in the back laughing and joking. The Mallard would have been great if not for the small amount of sauce on it, and the raw mushrooms. The table behind us had food left on it when we arrived, and it was still there when we left. No cleaning at all. Old food on the floor of our booth as well. And no music. Who wants to sit in a restaurant with no service and just hear the staff laughing and joking? I wouldn’t suggest this place. $60 for a couple sandwiches, old Mac and cheese, and some fries.

First I must start my review with the BEST bartender we’ve ever had, Ms. CeCe! What warm welcome she gave us! And she explained all the beer items that seemed a little mysterious to us. But talk is one thing so we tried the beers. All but one amazing beer didn’t suit our palate, a bit heavy and sweet, but that one beer, wow! We took two crowlers home! #1 on the menu, right where it belongs, German Pilsner Hartman’s Hero is clean, flavorful and refreshing. One could end with it being the last flavor, no chasing with a chip required. Truly impressive! We thought we’d found our lifetime favorite beer at another brewery but this ONE tops them all. Bravo Isaac’s brewer. You have done it! Amazing! Now to speak in the food… I was licking my bowl clean of the spicy tomato soup and wished I’d ordered a bowl instead of a cup, wow! Hubby got the Reuben sandwich with fries. Perfection! So clean. Outside dining that is lovely. We will return again and again! PS if you’re a guest at the attached Hotel, Isaac’s will offer you a discount.

Enjoyed a couple of good brews and some appetizers with my wife this afternoon. We were in the taproom. The atmosphere was quite inviting. Our bartender CeCe was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the cheese curds and fried pickles which were both appropriately crispy and well seasoned. The cheese curds were served with a marinara sauce and the fried pickles were served with a horseradish mayo. Isaac's has definitely started to change it's image as a sandwich shop. Definitely worth checking this one out.

Most likely just had my last order from here. I used a delivery service and so I know the cost is elevated but holy moly! I ordered a hamburger. It was pictured with fries. But did not come with fries. It also didn’t come with any condiments in it and since there was nowhere to add any I assumed ketchup at the least. Nope. $19 for a frozen hamburger patty that was suuuuper dry and tasted awful. And you rebranded as a pub??? The small pickle mix which had just pickles, a piece of cauliflower and a baby carrot was $9. The house made chips were good but I think there were less than a dozen in the bag. All in all with a coworker ordering a chicken salad wrap our total was over $50 and we were embarrassed for Isaac’s. I’m happy to pay convenience fees but I suspect the prices in the restaurant, while lower, are still wildly inflated for the quality. In today’s economy, it seems like a very interesting choice.

Fun family establishment. Food was good. The mozzarella appetizer was Amazing! The basket with pretzels, onion rings and curly fries was huge. Pretzels were more like toasted bread texture. Not bad-but definitely not a true pretzel. Great fun for all ages. Bowling was great. The retro video games were super fun. $5/20coins you typically only need 1-2 coins per game/machine. The bar had great cocktails. Service was slow-given we visited mid week and the place wasn’t not busy. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. **after 8:30pm-minors are not allowed in the building** plan your visit accordingly

Busy place. Great for Gen X - kids. Lots of 1980's video games, bowling lanes, restaurant & ice cream bar all tucked away in an old schoolhouse. Seems to draw a crowd. Ice cream flavors were excellent. Great atmosphere. Inside and outside seating areas and lounging as well.

This place was an absolute blast! It is perfect to take the family, or just as a fun date night. We took the kids and it was so much fun playing games while waiting for our table and food. It is important to note that kids are not allowed after 8:30; it is 21 and over only. Game tokens are the value of a quarter and the most expensive game is two tokens. We started playing games while waiting for our table. It was an 80s kid’s paradise! The drinks were phenomenal. I got the smoked pecan old fashioned and it is in the top 3 drinks I have ever had. My wife got Love Wins and it was served in a BAG! Everything about the restaurant and bar was fun. Like the rest of the restaurant, the food did not disappoint. We got the wontons, curly fries and nachos. They were all fantastic. The nachos had grilled chicken with excellent flavor, the wonton’s chili sauce was flavorful and the curly fries were nice and crispy. We would definitely recommend this place!

Decades provided a welcoming, retro experience that had me enraptured the moment I walked in. I felt like I was a child again playing the games I grew up with while spending quality time with friends. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was immaculate! Definitely a place I will come back to.

We come any chance we can get. My kids love the old school arcade games. I come just for the adult capri sun pouches and fried uncrustables. It can get extremely crowded and you can wait to play games sometimes

Decades hosted a celebration for our work team of about 45 people & it went phenomenally well! Our group loved having the option of being able to sit and chat over food and drinks in the private dining area or being able to play games and bowl. It was lovely! The food was great & Decades was able to accommodate some dietary restrictions flawlessly. I did a lot of price comparisons prior to the event and Decades pricing was superb. A special thank you to Olivia, Bella, and the rest of the team for making our celebration special!

Expected standard tavern fare food, but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely way above average. As expected, the place was busy and noisy on a Saturday evening; after all, it is an arcade, bowling alley, bar and restaurant! Server and rest of staff were attentive and friendly.

I happened to be walking this area of the city and popped in for a quick meal. What an awesome spot! The food was delicious and nice portions. The gentleman at the counter was super kind. The place itself was very inviting. Can’t believe I never have checked this place out! I’ll be back.

Food is always amazing. But last time I went in, the man who was working the register was very rude to me. It seemed as if he was a manager so it was uncalled for. I did not get a greeting or smile, he was annoyed with my SIMPLE order. Flipped the iPad around with attitude and I have no idea what I did wrong. They were open till 8 and I came at 7pm. The entire experience/interaction made me feel so unwelcome

Best Mexican Food for Miles!! Family owned and operated. Some of best authentic Mexican food I have ever had. This place is one of a kind delicious. Homemade Tamales and Mole sauce, both best ive ever had. Chorizo? Absolutely 10/10 incredible. How else do I say this is the most delicious tasty comida...

We've found another hidden gem while traveling through PA. This was the best, authentic Sicilian pizza!! Handmade while you wait/ made to order. The owner was friendly and food prepared quick! No complaints. We'll be back again, with the rest of the family.

My family I are traveled from out of state and were very hungry visiting Lancaster PA. The Amish eateries had long 40 minute wait. Came to Capricio’s Restaurant. It did not disappoint. Being from NY, we loved the Sicilian Pizza pie, family size Calzone and large salad. Food was excellent and hit the spot. Clean facility and restroom. Joe treated us like family. What a gentleman!

As a former (escaped?) NYer, it was nice to dine at a place that took me back to good, non-pretentious, delicious Italian food. Don't let the humble appearance dissuade you. This was great food at a good price, and plenty left for later reheating. Missed the name of the fellow running the show yesterday, but he was very friendly. Food was ready quickly and he brought it out to the table and checked on us frequently. The lasagna was excellent and came with a basic but fresh chop salad and fluffy, not overly heavy or greasy garlic knots. The spouse's Cesar wrap was delicious and well proportioned. The decor is relaxed. Overall very good experience that took me back to New York days. Side note, the plastic soda cups were a nice throwback.

I recommend visiting this establishment. Very tasty Italian pizza and sandwiches. The bread for the sandwiches is very tasty and crispy. The place is cozy and this pizzeria is run by real Italians. We discovered this place by accident because I didn't want to visit chain restaurants, but wanted real and tasty pizza.

I can only echo the sentiments of my family members. This pizza joint was a welcome surprise for a hungry family of 7 from out of state. The food was delicious, and very filling, might I add. The atmosphere was cozy and we felt as if we had the place to ourselves. There was plenty to go around and more. The workers were thoughtful and respectful, getting our food to us in a timely manner. Joe, our server, was jovial and enthusiastic, which made the experience all the more memorable. Last, the place was clean and, unlike many spots, their restroom was well-kept. An overall great experience!

Texas native here for work — and man, I wish we had pizza this good back home in the DFW area! I don’t usually leave food reviews, but this place deserved it. From the moment I walked in, the gentleman at the counter made me feel genuinely welcome — like we’d known each other for years. That kind of hospitality is rare and appreciated. The food? Absolutely top-tier. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Ordered a large cheese, was short a dollar and the nice lady at the counter let me off of the hook/didn't have to go back to the car to grab change. Pizza had a family pizzaria flavor, nice amount of cheese and sauce. Great people here.

I absolutely love Cicis Pizza! The buffet offers an incredible selection of pizzas, pastas, salads, and desserts—all for an affordable price. The crust is always fresh, and the flavors are delicious, especially the mac & cheese pizza and cinnamon rolls! The staff is friendly and keeps the buffet well-stocked. It’s a perfect spot for families, quick lunches, or even casual dinners. Highly recommend for anyone craving unlimited pizza without breaking the bank!

This location is the best Cicis I’ve ever been to. You will never find a better cook staff than here. Eric and Johnny are awesome. They just love to please their customers and are always happy to listen to anyones requests. I highly recommend going to this Cicis if you want a great all you can eat pizza experience!

Delicious and affordable pizza buffet. We came on a quiet night and staff was very attentive and even offered to make us whatever pizza we wanted. Had a nice little game room and the environment was great. My 11 month old son loved the game room. Reminded me of going to pizza buffets when I was a kid.

A great visit. We came at 730 when they closed at 8 but they still had all fresh pizza and salad. They worked hard to make sure our visit was a success. Bathrooms were clean. A good deal with a family. Great job!

This was our first visit here for me and my sons birthday. We ate free and Mondays traffic was relatively light. The staff was courteous and consistently putting fresh pizza out and keeping the place clean. We absolutely enjoyed our visit. This was my husbands first Cici’s pizza and he said it was all i said it would be, delicious. My 3yr old enjoyed the coin machines though i wished they were all filled fully. So many were empty and the dino coin machine, that cost $.50, would only allow us to win sticker mustaches. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

There was one guy who was working all by himself. He was excellent. All of the pizzas 🍕 he made were extremely delicious. We wanted to eat much more but we were stuffed. We will definitely be going back there in the near future

The customer service is great here. It’s a nice place to sit and have breakfast. The food isn’t bad. I got the strawberry cheesecake French toast. It’s not bad. Creamy. I also got the Goat cheese BLT which was my favorite out of the two. Not much goat cheese on it though.

Probably my all time favorite coffee shop. Love the ambience! Great selection of food and drinks. Beautiful layout with atrium ceilings and plants. The fireplace is such a nice focal point.. Wish i lived closer but i visit when i can from York County. Definitely recommend!

What an amazing place! I desperately needed a cup of coffee and I saw they're open until 9pm, so I stopped by. The ambience is so trendy, yet relaxing and cozy with plants hanging from the ceiling and plenty of space between tables. It is very clean and once I learned they served food, I ordered dinner and dessert. The avocado toast was scrumptious, and I added the two egg option - they were cooked perfectly! My dessert was the yogurt parfait which was rich, creamy and filling! Such a find and would definitely stop by again! Try this place!!

So the coffee is always great. The baked goods are amazing. The atmosphere is awesome. The service here is glitchy .... snobbery, which is a shame because the owners seemed grounded and nice.

I had the New Holland Coffee Co truck come for a bridal shower I was hosting and they were fantastic!! Evelyn and Kailey were the baristas for us and they were so friendly and all the guests loved the drinks they made. Mikayla helped to sort out all the details via email before the event and they showed up day of with plenty of time to set up and didn’t need a single thing from me! It was such a fun thing to have for a party and I would recommend them to everyone!

If you want a variety of doughnuts, then this is the place for you. I drove 1 hour to try this place out, and it was worth the trip. The filling and icing were on point with a nice little crisp to the dough. The staff was nice. Indoor outdoor seating as well.

Kevin at Beiler's was great to work with. We ordered doughnuts for our wedding in May and they were a HUGE hit! We got the exact flavors we wanted and the ordering/pickup process was a breeze. We LOVE Beiler's and loved the opportunity to share one of our favorite sweet treats with our family and friends! Thank you for making our big day so special!

Came in as the rush seemed to be dying down. Hopped in line that moved pretty fast. The counter girls were friendly. If there is a line, it's hard to see all the selections. There are quite a few. As far as the donuts (we got 7 different flavors total) each was under cooked. The flavor ideas were on point for a donut shop, but fell short of satisfying the taste buds. The tables were dirty, and there is flour stuck between the glass/counter leading me to question what other unsanitary stuff is in that joint. Overall I won't be returning.

By far the best doughnuts I have ever tasted. The dough roll alone is very delicious and the filling and toppings as well.

Can’t pass on the sweet, warm, gooey goodness of the blueberry fritter. It’s over: calling it for the greatest donut in the land. Freshly made. All options are good options. Bonus for the dog donuts too (Franki approved).

Beilers has fantastic doughnuts! My husband and I are especially fond of the filled ones (glazed crème, peanut butter crème and the apple fritter). Each doughnut is fresh and full flavor, I would absolutely suggest checking Beiler’s out next time you’re craving a doughnut!

Whenever I get donuts, I try to get them early in the morning. They are much better than chain store donuts. They taste fresh and they're soft and delicious. My favorite is the glazed white cream filled, but, really you can't go wrong.

My family and I LOVE this place. Good food that never disappoints. Plus it supports the boy's camp and I love that. If you're not sure what this camp is talk to the staff and I'm sure they'd be happy to share more with you. This place is kid friendly and the pond is always nice to walk around in the summer. Another favorite is their monthly soft serve flavor. Ahh so good. So if you are in the area definitely go over and at the very least feed the ducks and have a pretzel. 😊

Get the peanut butter gelati, all the pretzel rolls are good, very cute place and clean, and with a good mission All the money goes to the boys camp, and all the workers are volunteers-pretty neat fact. Bring some quarters and you can feed the ducks outside. Got the peanut butter gelati (peanut butter Italian ice (didn’t even know that was a thing!) plus vanilla soft serve) and it really did taste like peanuts! I only wish there were roasted peanuts or something added in-kind of reminiscent of Taiwanese peanut ice cream. Our group was big so we ordered 2 of each of the 3 pretzel roll flavors: cheesesteak, chicken ranch, and the seasonal meatball Cheesesteak: I found the beef a little bit on the sweet side but it was still good —— Chicken Ranch: a bit on the creamy side, but also still good —— Meatball: little meatballs are so cute, and taste good too! —— Definitely eat them warm, also the soft pretzel is pretty good too. Also, another person in my group got the apple pie ice cream, but the apple flavor isn’t really strong and it tastes more like caramel Would definitely come again!

This place has a great peach soft serve. Every ice cream flavor we tried was delicious. They also have a nice area outside for children to play and a pond with ducks. Sadly the smell from whatever still water they have next to it make it pretty challenging to play in the playground. They have parking and outdoor & indoor seating.

The pretzel dog was delicious ! My family also ordered the soft pretzels which were fluffy, warm, fresh, and just really good. Way better than auntie Anne's!:) I ordered the peach sundae, and it was delicious! Too bad its only out for a limited time! Feeding the ducks outside was a hit with my kiddos. Bring some quarters for some duck food. There is also a playground outside, seating around the water, and seating inside. We will be back!

Our family loves this place. Reasonable prices, good food and it supports Allegany Boy’s Camp. The staff is made up of volunteers that support a good cause. The venue outside is beautiful with a swing set and a pond with waterfowl and garden seats and picnic tables.

The ice cream is good . The pretzels are 5 star . The employees are 10 star. Please don't forget them ... it takes very awesome people that donate there time for some boy and family they may not even know. Thats the love Jesus.😀

Located on a busy, main street in Lancaster Silantra Asian caters to the gf, df crowd with vegetarian options. Limited, free street parking available in front. While it was fresh, there was a particularly strong, unexpected spice that made the dish hard to eat. The sweet potato fries were hot and fresh. Overall, a decent option in the area but not something I would visit again.

Great place for quick, tasty, healthy meal. I've been here a few times, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The bowls are loaded up with fresh ingredients that you customize as you go down the line. Fair price, too! I built my own bowl this last time, and snagged a vegan banana cake for dessert -- moist and delicious! Next time, I hope to try a bing :)

One of the best places I've ever eaten. Reguarless of price. Super friendly staff, easy to get to downtown. Easy to understand pricing and ingredient board. The food is so amazingly fresh, and each ingredient had lots of effort prepared in making it. Each one has such a unique and often powerful flavor that combining your selection together with rice, protein, and assortments of veggies and sauce is just a magical experience for your taste buds. I think I'll be going here a little too often from now on.

So glad we found this place! Just visiting and saw the good reviews here. They don't lie! Sooooo good. The scallion pancake burrito is a brilliant idea and they execute. Everyone loved their meal. Lots of protein options including tofu, lots of toppings options. Staff was helpful explaining how things worked. Wish I had one of these back home!

Amazing lunch in this super restaurant. Large choice of fresh, healthy foods for a very fair price. I had a huge vegab poke bowl with brown rice, edamame, wakame, corn, peppers, brocoli, tofu, mushrooms and more. Lovely staff, clean place and chill music I will come back for sure

I’ve come to Silantra many times and I’ve always had a good experience! The food is fresh and tasty while the staff are pleasant and helpful. The vibes are nice, the play list is good and the place is inclusive! I would definitely recommend the yellow coconut curry sauce and the Thai tea and the passion fruit oolong tea are spectacular!

One of my favorite quick lunch spots downtown. I love the pulled pork and the variety of toppings. Some of my favorite are the wasabi cole slaw, cucumber kimchi, chili garlic aioli, and broccoli. They also have good drinks - try the yuzu lemonade or the tea.

The food at this place has got to be the absolute worst food I have ever seen/tasted in my years of eating out. My mother and son ordered a “bistec encebollado” what they brought out was some old steamed pieces of meat with some old looking onions. The rice was old and stale. The “tostones” we’re old and obviously had been refried. My daughter ordered a “Cuban sandwich” these ppl need to look at what a Cuban sandwich is first before attempting to sell such a thing. My mothers beans were so salty, I tasted them and it looks like what they did was just pour some cumin and salt into them and called it a day. Disgusting! I was so appalled by the quality of this food I expressed my dissatisfaction with the the waitress. My mother and son did not touch their food. She came back and said “oh I’m sorry, but we can only remove one dish” Oh and before I forget, not only are these ppl serving old nasty food, but the prices!!!! 31 dollars for a bistec encebollado? Not prime, not sirloin, an old nasty looking boiled meat served with old rice and some beans with a pouch of Sazón Goya and cumin thrown in them. Ridiculous!!!!!! STAY AWAY….. If you got money to throw away then go, if you want to be left with a stomach ache or nauseous for the rest of the day then go!

So my husband and I decided to give this place a try. And I must say I am so happy we did! It was definitely good! The rice was perfect! The food had all the perfect old school flavors. A lot of Spanish food goes light on the flavors in this day and age and they do not lack! The prices are a little high for and appetizer for only 2 empanadias was 9 buck I do think they should serve 4 for that price. I do get it its a small home town business trying to succeed! But there is a few things they could give and pull on. I'd love to see some more small Spanish things but I would definitely go back here! I just hope it is as good as the first time when I go back! The food is served in small portions for high prices... the food takes forever to come out. We were seated in a room that used to be a room were they kept cigars. It was extremely hot in the room. We asked the staff twice if there was any way possible to get the room cooler, turn off the heater or at least some type of air flow but they said no. Overall, it was very difficult to actually enjoy the restaurant. it felt like the sun was beaming down on us.

Food exceeded expectations. Atmosphere was low key, felt great. My only concern was the promptness of the waitress. Because she served multiple roles (bartender, waitress, etc.) she took long to service us. Not a deal breaker but need to work on that. Overall the place was outstanding.

Being a Puerto Rican, a musician and a cook, this place is excellent. Nice upscale Puerto Rican food service. The food was delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is perfect (Salsa Lo Mío) and the staff was supper friendly. I know there’s plenty of great Puerto Rican places to eat at a lower cost but here you get what you pay for. Perfect date night and anniversary for the Mrs and I.

What a VERY nice surprise to find this restaurant! The building and decor is outstanding with a flair of the arts. The lunch buffet was a bit warm but fresh and seasoned. Luis our server was courteous and prompt. We will definitely be back!

Old San Juan – Lancaster, Pennsylvania – 10/9/2017 Hard to find unless you spot the small sign placed on the sidewalk, you may not find it. Rest assured, where the GPS brings you, that’s the place… The Restaurant is located inside the building that houses the Cigar Shop (also owned by the Restaurant).There’s a public parking lot right next door. Now… When you get to the restaurant… Spanish music can be heard in the hallway and the décor…? It reminded me of the restaurants in Old San Juan Puerto Rico we visited..This place is a hidden Gem! Fun and festive! There’s a large bar on one end and a tropical setting right down to stone floor. It is as though a time warp transported you to Old San Juan itself! Kudos to the owners for the design work. I started with the Beef & Cheese Empanadas. Bite into the flaky crust and when the seasoned Beef makes contact with your palate, your senses come alive! It’s an instant feeling of gastronomic euphoria… Dip it in the hot sauce and it takes you to a whole other level… Wow… And that’s just the beginning. For the main this evening, the Pernil… Roasted Pork, fried Sweet Plantains or Madoros as they call them with fluffy white rice and Redd Beans… I ordered an extra side of Plantains… Amazing! It brought me right back to my days on the Islands as a little boy. I even had a glass of Tamarind juice. They sure do give you a lot of food. I purposely didn’t finish everything knowing that there’s dessert. All I need to see on the dessert menu is Flan and I’m done! Here they don’t just have Flan, but they have two types of Flan; Vanilla and Flan con Queso which adds Cream Cheese to the mix. I could just sit here for hours on a slow Flan drip… Where do I even begin?! Although jo Cappuccino, their brewed coffee is almost Espresso-like… What a great experience. The two young ladies that run the place do a great job and the food is delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Located in Kitchen Kettle Village, this little ice cream stand is an oasis on a hot summer day! Everyone seemed to have the same idea... a line forms quickly but moves just as fast. The staff is very efficient in keeping your wait time to a minimum. The ice cream is of high quality and flavor. The black raspberry is my favorite!

We tried the ice cream for the first time coming here and it is so smooth and yummy. Such fabulous ice cream.

The best ice cream we've ever had!!! It was recommended by someone at the Amish Farm and House, so we took the chance and were so glad we did. So rich and creamy, reasonably priced and the girl working was extremely sweet!

Great homemade ice cream, several different flavors. Expensive $4.50 one scope waffle Cone, $7.00 two scoops in a bowl. But your on vacation. Enjoy it we did!

I have eaten ice cream from many states. NY, GA, PA, from low end to high end shops, and this is the best ice cream I've ever had (except for maybe the coffee ice cream from Pizzaria Beddia in Philadelphia). I don't care that I live 30 min away, when I want ice cream, I'm coming here. Be mindful, their hours are 9-5 Mon-Sat

Went here on Monday May 22nd 2023 with my family on our lancaster vacation as part of the Kitchen Kettle Village trip. I got a scoop of coffee ice cream in a cup, my mom got a scoop of cookies and cream in a cup, and my dad got a scoop of chocolate in a cup. We were able to sit down there and eat our ice cream. Ice cream tasted very fresh, was a decent price for 3 people. Also they do give you some very big scoops which is also good. tasted fresh and creamy, and would definetely come back when we are at lancaster again!

Great vegan options! Menu is clearly marked and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had the lemongrass tofu vermicelli and it was so crispy and delicious! I’ll definitely be back.

For the positive - clean, friendly, quick service, large portions. For the straight talk - not a traditional Vietnamese food. If your mother cooked this in Vietnam, you'd be at the neighbors house. Food has no flavor and traditional spices are lacking. Too much food when there's no satisfaction in eating it.

Recently I visited Sprout in Lancaster and was impressed by my experience. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were able to find a table a few minutes after ordering. Although there isn't a lot of indoor seating, the place was clean and staff was friendly. The food was fresh and arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. We ordered the CM 8 and the S 1, both dishes were delicious. The tofu in the CM 8 was flavorful and had a perfect texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired perfectly with the rice. The S1 was perfect for a cold windy day, the broth had notes of spicy jalapeños and fresh basil. The vegetables and glass noodles were cooked to perfection and not overdone and fun to eat with the crunchy tofu! The portion was decent and the dish overall was hearty and filling. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Sprout for anyone looking for a great vegetarian options.

The ladies here were absolutely delightful! I lost my earring a bit before coming in and they went above and beyond trying to help me locate a special heirloom. Not only are the people here wonderful, but the food is packed with flavor, complexity, and freshness! If I could rate 6 stars I would ❤️

Just moved to the area and visited Frisco's in the evening. My boyfriend lived in Peru for a few years and was excited to see this place is authentic! Even though we were the last customers there (we were careful to leave before their closing time, don't worry! 😅), the staff was very accommodating, answered any questions we had, and gave us samples of items we asked about. We had the 1/2 chicken platter with fries and beans, and the pollo bowl with brussel sprouts. Both were outstanding - the chicken is super juicy, not a dry piece to be found! We have had takeout from here again since and can attest that the yuca fries and chicken sandwich are delicious as well! Standout items for us were the pollo empanada and the aji sauce - liquid gold!!! Definitely try the chicha morada as well - most authentic one we've found!

The chicken was amazing, hot and fresh! The homemade sauces just made it even better! So So delicious! The service was great.

First timers.. chicken is amazingly seasoned as well as the rice! Staff was very helpful and personable. Things they can improve on is supplying ketchup and either do away with the ordering screens or make it clear you don't have to order on them you can go right to the register! Kids didn't really care for the chicken fingers

Disturbed by the young men that high fives each other as we walked in to Frisco's, we place an order for take out & paid then I decided to grab another order & as I was inserting my card I noticed the young man punching in some buttons quickly. I looked at my receipt and he was adding a tip for themselves. $7 and $ 4 on my other order. At that point I wanted to grab my tip from the container that I didn't have to leave to begin with. 😡

Here for a short trip and was happy to find some Peruvian food. I loved the taste of the chicken, excellent sauces as well. My main complaint would be the fried rice was hard which took away from the meal. Yuca fries were good.

Went there this morning ordered few stuff for to go. My order was ready within 20 minutes and food quality is good. I ordered pork mac and cheese, patty melt, and chicken sandwich and also strawberry milkshake they have nice interior and open kitchen

This was my first time eating here and definitely won't be my last. I had heard and read great things about this place and I can see why. I had the weekly special, which was the Bacon Butter Burger (beef patty, cooper sharp, b&b pickle, bacon, butter baste, potato bun) and upgraded from chips to fries. The fries were great and definitely worth the upgrade. I grew up in Wisconsin, where the butter burger was invented, and I have to say this was a pretty good effort. I would definitely get it again. Our table shared some fried pickles and those were amazing as well, but are a little on the salty side. They have a smaller, but diverse selection of beers on tap. Nice outdoor dining space. Highly recommend!

When we got to Cabalar we didn’t know what to expect. It was massive inside. They have an amazing system for preparing food and pumping stuff out. You order up front and pickup around the side. Tons of seating and room at the counter as well. I ordered the classic burger but with a double patty. It was covered in melty cheese, fresh onion, ketchup, and came out cooked perfect. It was extremely juicy, extremely well seasoned and you can tell the beef was super high quality. This is one of the best burgers I’ve had in many years personally. My wife got the Macdaddy and it was every bit of everything she hoped it would be. She even expressed it might well be the best thing she’s had all vacation to eat which is saying a lot. The beef tallow fries were salty and crunchy and seasoned perfectly as well. 10/10 experience. Definitely recommend. The only rough part is parking. The lot is a little small and street parking is not abundant. Be prepared either to wait or walk.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch today while in the area. It was our first time here. We came through the back door and tried to order right there at the counter. The woman told us to order up front. We did have to wait in line to order. My boyfriend ordered the sweet heat burger. He said it was well prepared and had great flavor. I ordered the smash burger which was delicious! It was the perfect amount of food, and proces are decent. There was alot of seating. We will definitely be back.

We went here for the Restaurant Week special, the Bratwurst burger. It was my first time here and was very excited to try their food as they seem to get amazing reviews online. Now the only thing I tried there was this burger and I'm not sure if it was a regular menu item. It was a good sandwich and the burger itself was very good. There was a heaping pile of sauerkraut on it, along with other condiments. I really enjoyed it, my daughter seemed meh on it and my wife didn't care for it as she doesn't like sauerkraut. We will have to go back to give a more fair and accurate review. Based on this sandwich, I enjoyed Calabar and would happily return. On a side note, it seemed very kid friendly to me. There were several families with kids and there was a small kitchen kids play area upstairs.

Yeah, this is as good as folks say it is. Highly recommended. Food is well seasoned, has lots of flavor, looks fantastic when it comes out and tastes super fresh as you’d expect. We got our meal quickly during a Saturday lunch. I asked for pink and that’s what I got as shown in the photo. Also, I chose the salad and they were excellently prepared greens (with salt!) you’d have thought were just picked! Pretty impressed. Will be back.

I left my most recent experience at Cabalar drooling and semi orgasmic over the smoked pastrami sandwich, which was truly one of the best, if not the best I’ve ever had. The pastrami was juicy and flavorful and tastes a little smoked. The bread held together perfectly, the kraut was homemade and thickly sliced to give a satisfying crunch, mmmm, I just wanted to eat more! Burgers were ok the previous time, little too small burger for the bun size. But the pastrami is ON POINT!! Went during a chill time, around 3 PM on a Thursday.

Ordered 5 Pretzels. All 5 were black on the bottom. I asked the kind folks behind the counter about it and they said all their Pretzels were that way; that's just how they are made. I won't be going back.

I always enjoy the taste of Philly Pretzel Factory soft pretzels. I got the 5 for 5.00 which is a very good deal. Because they were near closing my pretzels were not warm. That was my only disappointment. Service was courteous and quick!

It’s a cute little shop but they get lots of pretzels out. While they’re not a healthy option they are a delicious one. I’ve rarely ever been disappointed in the pretzels there and they always make a great addition to any party. I would recommend!
