The Hershey Pantry, established in 1990, is a beloved breakfast spot in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It offers a mix of urban and small-town diner ambiance and serves trendy breakfast dishes alongside delectable lunch options and homemade baked goods. Visitors flock to this charming eatery for its famous Cinnamon Rolls with cream cheese frosting and other mouthwatering breakfast and brunch items. Whether you prefer savory or sweet breakfasts, The Hershey Pantry has something to satisfy every palate.
Get there early or expect a wait! Food was great and lots to choose from on their menu. Our server was busy but friendly and attentive. I liked that I can sub out the potatoes for a mixed green salad w/champagne vinaigrette! Would definitely recommend!

Such a cute spot to check out. The coffee menu is different and yummy. The portion sizes were big and filling. My family loved their meals. Their Eggs Benedict looked delicious. Slightly disappointed that my blueberry pancakes were underdone and had to get them made again. The staff was very accommodating and redid it for me. Next time I'm in PA I'll give it a try again.
Raisa B — Google review
This is one of the top breakfast experiences I've ever had with my family. Highly recommend getting there early as there is a long wait especially for going on the weekend and waiting longer for the outdoor seating is probably going to be experienced you'll never forget. Parking is probably the hardest thing to do when visiting this place but it doesn't help that the employees of the hotel next door are parking where only the Hershey pantry people are allowed to park. Highly recommend doing the oatmeal flight it was the most delicious thing I've ever tried and also their breakfast drinks are absolutely out of this world delicious. My waitress was Alyssa she's absolutely amazing and she gave it her all.
Bree G — Google review
We visited Hershey for a few days and walked over to this cute little cafe and had some of the BEST food and drinks I’ve had in a while! The baked oatmeal flight was incredible, the chai latte was perfect, loved the chorizo breakfast tacos, and adored our server, Cate! 100/10!! Update: we went a second time and it was just as good! Loved their breakfast sausage and eggs Benedict, and those pumpkin cinnamon rolls were incredible! Plus, the hashbrowns always come out the perfect texture.
Taylor R — Google review
Excellent spot for breakfast and brunch. The food was good. The place felt homey. If you like homemade desserts, make sure you save room. I saw some homemade being devoured by other guests. They looked delicious. I would also like to add that the prices were very reasonable.

My husband and I have been visiting this place for the last 4 years occasionally but the more we visit, the less we want to go. Their menu, although gets creative every season, some of their portions are getting smaller (specifically the seasonal ones), and their prices are going up. The last time we visited recently, we ordered one of their seasonal items on the menu (Banana Nutella French toast). It was $17 for a small plate and it didn’t come with anything on the side. My poor husband left that place hungry and disappointed. I ordered a BLT sandwich which supposedly came with a mix salad and it was mainly mixed greens (not an actual salad). My sandwich portion was bigger than my husband’s small French toast plate. Their drinks are expensive as well and they charge you extra for any small changes you add to your drink. On another note, this place is mostly popular because they are close to Hershey Park which is a touristic area. Always be ready to wait a while before you get seated. Based on our last experience here, we won’t be visiting for a long time.
Glenda L — Google review
Breakfast or brunch at Hershey Pantry is amazing (I can’t bring myself to order anything but breakfast food, so I’m not sure how it is for lunch—probably good)! It can get very busy, especially during peak park season. But the breakfast, specialty coffee, and mimosas are great. My most recent meal was a baked oatmeal flight (apple, pumpkin, and s’mores) and a mimosa flight—-both were amazing! The staff is always friendly and efficient, so they do really keep it moving. The only negative thing about this place is the parking. It’s a ridiculously small lot for the size of the restaurant, and it can be terrible to find a spot during what is considered a normal breakfast time. There is a hotel next door, but they’re understandably not fans of you parking there. I’ve already circled around for up to 10+ minutes trying to even find a spot at the hotel. I think it does cause a lot of people to just give up, even when the wait isn’t that long.

My husband I came here for the first time for breakfast. We were seated at the bar and served by a very nice gentleman named Raheem. He was polite, kind and on top of everything. Service was great! I had the Oreo cookie cheesecake croissant French toast special and the PB Mocha Lover drink. My husband had the sausage gravy and biscuits with gravy and home fries. The portions were amazingly big and the taste was fantastic! I would highly recommend eating here! 10 out of 10

Italian restaurant
LUCA is a popular Italian restaurant that opened its doors in 2016 and has since become one of the trendiest spots in downtown Lancaster. The restaurant offers a casual yet elegant dining experience, with high ceilings and industrial furnishings adding to its charm. Specializing in wood-fired pizzas and handmade dishes prepared on a wood-burning hearth, LUCA prides itself on its farm-to-table approach. The menu features seasonally inspired pasta, Neapolitan-style pizza, and wood-roasted meats.
Vibes here were immaculate. I’m so sorry I can’t quite remember the name of our server but he was one of the bartenders ! He was super sweet and kind and was very helpful in picking what we wanted to eat / was very excited about our selections for us. Upon sitting at the bar, you could tell that a lot of people came back as regulars because of him. This guy was super friendly (and had really awesome tattoos) and it showed in the way customers loved him too. Aside from the service and atmosphere, the food was delicious. Who knew cabbage and flatbread could taste the way it did?? The entrees we got were perfectly seasoned as well. We chose LUCA on a whim and honestly, great choice. If I’m ever back in Lancaster, I’d come back here FOR SURE

Easily one of the BEST lattes I've ever had, and I don't give that compliment lightly. Everything we had was delicious, from drinks and apps to the main entrées it was all well made and high quality. It was pretty busy when we got there (8 pm on a Wednesday) which was surprising but we had a reservation so there was no wait and it mostly cleared out around 815. The only thing that took away from the experience was how little we saw our waitress, wish she would've checked on the table more after it cleared out.

This place is is a must try. The ambience is warm with a rustic and light industrial feel. Very thoughtful lighting and an open kitchen. One thing that is very cool is that they proudly display a photo of Anthony Bourdain on the kitchen hood. I recommend doing what we did. We brought a group of 6 guests and ordered literally half of the menu to share. This way, we were able to try so much. Every dish we had was spectacular. I highly recommend the chicken, hanger steak, flatbread and the bolognese. We tried every single desert and they were all outstanding! The service was top notch. Our server was Alison and she was fantastic. She was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. To top it off, Chef Nate came out to our table to greet us and share his passion for cuisine. He’s a very bright young man and rich with talent. It shines through in the food. When I say that Luca is a must try, I mean it. I highly recommend.
Joseph M — Google review
Was sent to Luca as a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. This restaurant is chic as soon as you walk in, and the food matches the vibes. I came in as a solo diner and sat at the bar. Wine by the glass selection could be wider, but the cab blend was tasty. The stand out items for me were the gem lettuce salad with the focaccia croutons as well as the tiramisu. So delicious! The kitchen sent out arancini on the house, which I thought was very kind. I got the gnocchi and it was good but wish I tried the pizza. I watched it being made from the bar and it looked outstanding. Highly recommend this spot for a date night or even solo dinner, but better when you have a larger party so you can try a bunch of different items.
Gabrielle B — Google review
We have enjoyed dining at Luca since they opened several years ago. The food has been consistent and has always been a treat. Recently, I had the Bronzino which was outstanding. This was the best meal ever at Luca. The fish was excellent, the vegetables were fresh, and the sauce was amazing. Well done Luca!! Thank you for a fun evening.
Dana O — Google review
The food there is good but overpriced! You can get burrata cheese but it doesn’t come with anything to dip it in so you have to get a side for it. The bar was wide open when we arrived and they told us we had an hour because the spots were reserved? I get it’s a popular place with a really cool vibe and great wine and food but I’ve never heard of spots at a bar being reserved.
Dani C — Google review
We were fortunate to enjoy both the pizzeria and the Luca restaurant on consecutive days. Saturday night, the pizzeria was slammed. The staff was pleasant and empathetic. The pizza was well-worth the wait. A private event held at the Luca restaurant was divine. From start to finish, the staff was attentive, the food was so delicious and the cocktails fresh and original. The Amaro mule was yummy. The cheese and meat charcuterie was spot on. The Bolognese was to die for. I had three servings! A great location, wonderful people and amazing food. What are you waiting for??

One of my favorite spots in Lancaster. Picante pizza is always my go-to, but their pasta and seasonal dishes are also excellent. I never get tired of coming here.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Lancaster County, Fireside Tavern is a delightful spot that combines hearty American cuisine with a warm and inviting atmosphere. This charming eatery not only serves up an array of gluten-free options like nachos, strawberry spinach salad, and crab cakes but also offers daily specials that keep diners coming back for more. The tavern's cozy setting makes it perfect for gatherings or celebrations, while its stunning views of the surrounding farmland enhance your dining experience.
Well here we go again. My beautiful wife and I took a trip to Lancaster, PA for an overnight to see Noah at Sight and Sound. We made reservations for the Fireside Tavern. We ordered the Manhattan Crab Chowder, (which is basically Maryland Crab soup) it was amazing. We got the stuffed shrimp that did not disappoint. And ended with the Keylime Pie. Highly recommend. Sheila was a delight as our waitress. Very great atmosphere and very good food.
Larry S — Google review
This place was fantastic!! Had the bricked chicken that was so flavorful and moist. BBQ meatloaf sandwich was huge and hugely GREAT! Nice meatloaf, bacon, tomato, and BBQ sauce. As big as my wife's head. My son had the chicken strip platter (shareable). Very good. Son said the fries were super good. Had good chocolate cake. The hot chocolate was good. The PEANUT BUTTER pie is "slap yo mama good"!! No lie.
Joe R — Google review
Soooo, you are going to see Sight and sound (great experience), want a dinner that is just as amazing?? The Fireside Tavern is the place to get that amazing. We were running a little late to get to the show and our servers response!!? “ No problem, we will get it done!”. The meals were excellently prepared and the portion sizes border on “too much”. The restaurant is very comfortable and not cramped at all. As you can imagine I confidently recommend the Fireside Tavern, to be honest 4.6 is low in my opinion, I give it 5 stars.
Bob B — Google review
I visited the Fireside Tavern with my husband for our anniversary. The service, atmosphere and mussels were excellent. We ordered the fried mozzarella and garlic white wine mussels, both were very good. The mozzarella was fried perfectly and I can't express how much I loved the mussels. My husband had the french dip, it was loaded with prime rib and the au jus was flavorful. I had the jalapeño popper burger, I enjoined the roasted jalapeños but felt the cheddar cream cheese was too heavy and took much of it off. As for drinks, I ordered a specially drink called the Golden Hour which I was not a fan of, it included bourbon and a brown butter wash. Luckily husband liked it, and I tried the vanilla bourbon which was fantastic. If you try Fireside Tavern get the mussels!

Wow! Not sure how else to explain. First visit ever and I can't wait to return. Diamond was our server and wow does she deserve a round of applause! Wonderful, helpful and over all kind. So many gluten free options which is hard for me when I go out, so tonight to have so many choices besides a salad was great. Got the stuffed shrimp 🍤 and boy it did not disappoint! So very full but of course had to try a gluten free dessert. The shortcake bar was amazing. Can't wait to return!
Holly S — Google review
Very good dining experience! Our server, Jeff, was excellent. The food tasted very good overall. The atmosphere was fine for a casual dining tavern. We had a party of ten next to us...a lot of noise. I needed a little more zest for my Thai Grilled Chicken. I was amazed about the amount of cabbage for the salad. It was well-dressed. Perhaps it would've been better with some basil or cilantro if I'd be very critical. I'll recommend this place. Just a few minutes walk from Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
Michael N — Google review
Had dinner 6:30 Friday evening, Megan took excellent care of us during our visit, and was able to address an ingredient concern with ease. The Tavern Fries and the Brick Chicken were great, but the star of the show was the Bone-in smoked pork chop. The bacon jam was outstanding. The dining room was clean and tastefully decorated. Noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Drinks off the bat sucked they were like water with fruits no liquor at all soup me and my daughter had were great i ordered the stuff shrimp with crab meat not worth the 31.00 bastami rice seemed microwaved my wife's sandwich was ok red lobster serves better food for there price not even a salad with my dinner never mind a piece of Italian bread. One and done.

Loxley's Restaurant and Patio Bar at the Heritage Hotel in Lancaster, PA is a hidden gem with a unique treehouse setting that blends rustic charm with whimsy. Inspired by the legend of Robin Hood, this multi-story, mountain-themed American eatery surprises guests with its extraordinary design. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience. The venue also offers overnight stays at the Heritage Hotel, complete with lunch and dinner vouchers for Loxleys.
I had dinner here two nights in a row. I had something different and equally delicious both nights. Six different people on two different days recommended that I come here for dinner. They were correct and I thank them for it. The menu is hard to find, look on their Facebook page for their Linktree and you will find it there. First night I had the French onion soup and the Berry Burrata salad with sliced steak. Perfect French onion soup. The server recommended the steak on top of the Berry Burrata salad and wow, what an excellent combination of fresh berrys, burrata and steak. It was difficult NOT to have that again the second night. Second night was Herbed Burrata and the special for the night, tenderloin medallions, Yukon Gold smashed potatoes and broccoli. I would go back today and have it all again. Menu prices were fair and not overpriced. Definitely a good value. If Loxley's isn't in your regular rotation, it should be. Exceptional dining in a fun environment with professional and attentive service. Thanks for two great memorable meals!

Matt was our server and he was great! My broccoli cheddar soup wasn’t chunky but puréed and I absolutely loved it. Delicious! Hubby’s Reuben sandwich would’ve been awesome if they’d added more sauce. Meat was a little dry, though flavorful. Atmosphere 5 stars for uniqueness! What an experience, wow! We’re locals and will be returning often. I highly recommend Loxley’s for locals and tourists alike.

My husband and I ate here last Thursday evening. We sat indoors as I am not a fan of insects. We were the only customers in the area we were sat. My husband started with a small Caesar salad. It was very fresh and he said it was very good. I had the cream of chicken soup. The soup was good as well but it had no cream in it. My husband had a pasta dish. It was a creamy penned pasta with shrimp added to it. It was rather bland not much flavor. I had the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was cooked well seasoned and cooked to my liking. We asked for take home boxes and dessert menu. The menu came pretty swiftly but the server was busy and we waited for a good long time and lost interest in dessert. When the server finally came we got the check. The poor young man had many tables mostly outside so I can't blame him. Food was good. Service not so much.
Mayumi M — Google review
Looks nice from outside, with good landscape design of a small bridge over water from a water fall, many koi swimming in it. But the inside decor looks old and tired. Food quality is average and the service just okay. Restroom not very clean and smelly. Not as fancy as expected so was disappointed.
Michael P — Google review
We were seated in the bar area as there was no wait. Service was slow to to start but very friendly when our server arrived. Food was good but beer choices and atmosphere was better in my opinion.I would come back to explore the other dining experiences at this location.
Bernadine — Google review
What a lovely find this place is, especially when looking for dining outside. The atmosphere is lovely. We want to go back in the evening as I am sure the lighted patio is charming. Our food was good, not great, as our order wasn't correct. They messed up our dairy-free instructions and food came out with holladaise sauce. When we pointed it out to the server, she gladly exchanged it, but then it came out with a regular bun, and not a GF bun. The other 3 meals were good.
Bonita K — Google review
Amazing! So many good options on the menu and fairly priced. The building was beautiful and set an amazing ambiance. Our server was very sweet and the food came out quickly. Oh and super cute fish pond with a beautiful waterfall.

The Belvedere Inn, located in downtown Lancaster, is housed in a charming Victorian mansion and offers a modern American menu in an elegant setting. The executive chef, Corinna Killian, uses seasonal and local ingredients to create contemporary twists on classic dishes. The restaurant's French-inspired decor features antique farm tables and vibrant artwork with a Moulin Rouge theme.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Outdoor seating was perfect, quiet and beautiful even on a chilly night. Zach was one of the best servers we’ve had anywhere in a very long time, attentive and quick while leaving us to enjoy ourselves plenty. The Rye Society was one of, if not the best whiskey drinks I’ve ever had, the food was perfect, and the desserts and espresso martinis were amazing. My girl and I are looking for excuses to come back to Lancaster just to eat here again. Do not miss out on this experience. Attached picture is the roasted carrot bucatini with lump crab and lardons, a new item on the menu as of October 2025. Amazing. Thank you Zach!

First time here. Heard this place has a great reviews so we give a shot. Love the ambience of two stories restaurant reminds me when you’re going to mirror mazes at the amusement park lol. Foods are okay different style, decent portions and too pricey. Outstanding service. Drinks were excellent either cocktail and mocktail. Love the God’s country so definitely will be try something else in the area.

This was our first time here! We were happy to be able to get a 4:45 reservation on a Saturday the day before. Our upstairs server (Elizabeth, I think?) was friendly, kind and witty. Luckily we came during restaurant week, which was not planned, and they had a lovely special going on, which I took advantage of. I was able to get an appetizer, meal and dessert for $65, which was a phenomenal price! The only item I didnt care for was the lobster bisque. Everything else was absolutely delicious, not that the bisque was terrible. We will definitely be back again.
Jennifer K — Google review
We had the most amazing wedding anniversary dinner here. Reservations are a must because the Belvedere is so popular. But since we had a reservation, were welcomed and quickly ushered to our table. Our waitress Ari was so attentive and was so apologetic when we had a bill discrepancy that I caught. The food was perfection. My wife loved her lavender cocktail. It even had a sprig of dried lavender in it! We both gushed over the Chocolate Hazelnut Rocher. It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. And of course the Chicken Piccata and Grilled Filet Mignon were expertly presented and tasted amazing. And I can't forget my Petite grilled Caesar Salad. Also excellent. An evening to remember. We will be back.
Derrick K — Google review
We went with another couple and had a very good dinner. We split two salads that I forgot to take a picture of and then had chicken piccata, duck breast and salmon. The chicken was a particularly large serving. We had glasses of wine and cocktails so our bill was pretty high.
Jan B — Google review
My husband and I decided to eat here for our first wedding anniversary on September 7th. We have been here before and fell in love with the food, the atmosphere, and the drinks. However, they simply dropped the ball during this visit. Everything, and I genuinely mean each food item we ordered, from the salad, to the burger, to the salmon dish we ordered was ruined by the overwhelming taste of salt. The belvie bread and sliders were the only good items we ordered. I did complain to my waitress regarding the saltiness of our food and she offered to have it remade, but even the salads we received before the main course were salty and I saw no point. I ended up not eating the burger as I genuinely couldn’t consume it and calling it a day. Other than that, the waitress didn’t offer to reduce the prices of the meals or offer any other solution. We paid the full $27 for an inedible burger, and full price for the salmon that was also just insanely salty. Due to this experience, I am highly disappointed and don’t really see myself spending more money here in the future.
Angelique K — Google review
The only 5 star I've ever put for a restaurant. I had the burger and chip dip. The burger was melt in your mouth like butter, probably the best burger I ever had, got it in medium. The lobster chip dip was also the best chip I've ever eaten. Definitely top 5 restaurants in my list.

Really spectacular overall, I loved everything about my dining experience. The dining rooms are fabulous, as is the outdoor patio where I could often smell the fresh flowers still blooming all around the table. The service was friendly and unobtrusive with excellent recommendations. The food was very well prepared. The tuna crudo with apple was so refreshing, the salmon cooked perfectly with the most flavorful lentils I've ever had, and the steak with foie gras potato puree was a show stopper. Everything was seasoned perfectly. There are layers of flavor in each bite of all the plates I tasted. Cherry pistachio cheesecake was also amazing. Excellent dinner!

Restaurant
Cork & Cap Restaurant is situated in the Cork Factory Hotel and offers a diverse menu of seafood, upscale American comfort food, and beverages. The restaurant is located in Urban Place, a mixed-use community within the redeveloped 19th-century cork factory. Embracing a local focus, it draws inspiration from Pennsylvania Dutch comfort cuisine and locally sourced ingredients to create simple yet cosmopolitan dishes that celebrate Lancaster County's rural abundance.
They were quite busy so I was sat in the bar, but the service was still great! The Caprese salad was excellent and the vegan pea pesto pasta was amazing and great even if you're not a vegan! Would highly recommend. Also great to see Walla Walla wines on the list. The seven hills merlot was perfect!

Beautiful, elegant, clean, well designed well executed restaurant. Would return! Part of a remodeled 19th century cork factory. Room is beautiful with exposed brick and rough rock walls. Great service. And very reasonable pricing for the quality of food and circuses. Food was mostly spot on, everything was certainly delicious. My only minor quibbles... the beet salad was overdressed. And i couldn't get there on the hushpuppies, which were very sweet and reminded me of coffee cake, but were paired with a spicy sauce. Just not for me but well executed.

Nice eclectic throwback interior decorated with industrial items. Scallops were excellent. Steak special cooked perfectly but, did lack a bit off spice flavor. But you can always add a touch of salt, but you can't change turn a medium back to medium rare. Wrong temperature on steak and it would have been a hard 3 stars. Will try again when back in Lancaster.

Went here for a work dinner. Definitely a bit more upscale than my normal restaurant choices. It had a nice vibe, interesting menu that had plenty of choices for both the adventurous eaters that want to try something new, and anyone who prefers a traditional taste just done really well.

Cork & Cap far exceeded all expectations tonight! Don’t wait for a special occasion to visit. The hostess made us feel quite welcome BUT our Server, Domi, provided the best service EVER without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble as she anticipated our every need. The atmosphere was interesting and classy. The food entrees were SO delicious that patrons were excited to spontaneously share their favorite suggestions with others. Our choices, which were all spectacular, included: Sangria, Salmon, Caprese Salad, to-die-for Hush Puppies, and desserts too. We were so focused on the beauty of each dish that I forgot to take more pictures. Congratulations Chef and Staff!!! We’ll be back soon!

Large portions. However, food was inconsistent. Crab dip appetizer was not hot throughout. Also, the dip itself was very rich, but very bland...no spice or umami at all. The vehicles for dipping were varied, plentiful, and tasty. But again, I'd rather the crab be the star of the show. Blackened swordfish was excellent where it was blackened but there were areas of the fish with no seasoning. Garlic mashed potatoes had fantastic flavor and texture, but they arrived at room temperature. My NY Strip was enormous and flavorful, but parts of the au Poivre sauce tasted almost burnt...other parts were perfect. The crab cake was both hot and perfectly seasoned... definitely the best thing we had. No room for dessert. Overall there were enough problems to prevent 4 stars. Maybe it was just a bad night, because the potential is there.

I had a wonderful experience. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I love the stone walls and vibe. Highly recommend the risotto and prosciutto balls, swordfish and the pork chop! Delicious!

Modern French restaurant

Basque restaurant
Citronnelle is a cozy French BYOB restaurant located in downtown Lancaster. The intimate 32-seat bistro offers a modern take on French cuisine with influences from Asia and North Africa. The menu features creatively sourced dishes, such as duck leg confit, harvest salad with Moroccan spices, and crab croquettes with wasabi aioli. Citronnelle prides itself on using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients whenever possible and also incorporates high-quality exotic elements into its dishes.
I came here for my birthday with my family; I have come here for ten years and I have never been disappointed with the food, service or atmosphere. The dishes are innovative, well balanced and always cooked perfectly. Andrew the server was great, the owner Susan is always so welcoming and kind and Chef Rafael is a master of his craft!
Emily Y — Google review
The server was very friendly and kind, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although she did check-in with us regarding our appetizer, she was too preoccupied to check-in regarding our entree, due to her being the only staff in the dining area catering to 4 different tables; understandable but didn't leave us the opportunity to address our issues with the entree (which will be highlighted below) until we paid for our bill and came across someone else by happenstance. The aesthetics were elegant and on the dimmer side, especially if you're seating at the corner tables away from the light, we recommend sitting closer to the light or by the entrance if there's still light out. We really loved the crab croquettes appetizer, which had a perfectly crispy exterior that complimented perfectly with the moist interior mixture of potato and crab that paired very well with the aioli. The crispy potato that accompanied the NY strip was perfectly balanced as well, with the crispiest exterior that I ever had with a potato dish! Unfortunately that was the highlight to the entire dish, for the strip was extremely lean without any fat or marbling to help balance out the leanness of the steak (which is evident in the attached photos below). Usually a NY strip, even if grass fed, would still have a strip of fat on the outer layer, but ours did not have any at all, which you can see from all slices we've made. We weren't hoping for ribeye-quality fats at all, but just one that wasn't completely lean. The creamed spinach was also quite bitter and watery, which definitely diluted its creaminess unfortunately; you can see from the photo the wateriness in the creamed spinach where the cream began separating. We love their menu and the restaurant's elegant vibe, as well as how beautifully the food was presented, but unfortunately we were left disappointed by our main entree. I highly recommend their crab croquettes so please give that a try if you can, I promise you won't regret it! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

My husband and I made a last minute reservation to try this place after I looked at the positive Google reviews. Unfortunately, our dining experience was not so positive like the others. Let me preface this by saying that I am a Philly native who has visited many fine dining restaurants in the city. I’ve even been to restaurants that don’t have the fine dining ambience (like this place) but their prices are expensive like a fine dining place. This restaurant lacked in all the aspects of fine dining (not sure if that is what they’re going for). The room is very small and tight. When I walked in first and gave the server our name for the reservation, she pointed us to the corner table. It was a tight squeeze! I glanced at it with an awkward hesitation, and then I looked at my husband and told him that I was going to use the restroom first. This corner table was the worst seat in the room. I wish she would’ve sat us at another 2 top considering that I’m pregnant and will need the room to get in and out and make multiple trips to the restroom. Well, this server didn’t seem to be mindful of that. After I got back to my seat (after much tweaking of the chair and table to get comfortably seated), I just looked towards the wait staff station to see when our sever would bring us our water and menus. Mind you, the place is small and there’s 2 waitresses with 4 parties. Not a busy evening for them. I also worked in the restaurant industry and bringing water and menus when your guests arrive is just service 101. You don’t keep them waiting too long. I was shocked to notice that our server didn’t notice. She was more attentive to the 4 top near us. Finally, she walked over with menus and then asked what kind of water we wanted. I asked for filtered tap. I wish she would’ve asked me this before I used the restroom if I knew she was going to wait this long to ask us another question about water options. Anyways, onto the food. My husband and I shared the crap croquettes because that was a highly recommended item from the other reviewers. Well, let me be the first to tell you, don’t order it! Save your money! It wasn’t that good. I was very disappointed to see that these were way too mushy and contained way too much cream. I first picked it up with my fork, but it completely breaks down that you have to eat it with your fingers. Again, way too much cream and you barely taste any crab. I don’t understand how people think this was good, but it was overpowering with the mayonnaise like cream and no crab taste. I felt bamboozled. For the second course, I ordered the NY strip and my husband got the lamb bolognese. Our server explained that if we wanted the soufflé, then we HAD to order it with our dinner because it takes the chef 20 minutes to make it. I thought that was even strange. I’ve never come across that in my dining experience and thought it was an unnecessary request of the guests. What if we changed our minds after we finished the dinner and wanted to cancel the soufflé? It just didn’t make sense to pressure guests into making a decision about dessert when they haven’t even had the first course yet. Now, my steak was good, but that was the only thing I liked on my plate. The steak was tender and juicy. However, it came with this crusted potato thing that tasted really strange. It also came with a cup of creamed spinach which was very bland and lacking in any culinary taste. It needed salt very badly and didn’t have much cream. I was shocked by the poor texture and lack of taste in the sides. My husband’s dish was good, but after some time of eating it, he said he doesn’t think he’s a fan of bolognese. He said it’s something that he could make himself, so I don’t think he was any more impressed with his dish. The pasta noodles had a nice texture to it though and the eggplant was good. That’s about it. Finally, the soufflé. It was nothing special in taste or texture. There wasn’t anything in it that made me go “wow, that’s really good”. Overall, a poor experience and such lack of attentiveness from our server. We won’t return.

Absolutely incredible. The crab croquettes were very soft and had a excellent crab taste. The arrangement of the plates were beautiful. The inside of the restaurant was very personal. You could tell that everything was done with care, intentionality. The main courseries were fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, chicken was delicate with a beautiful mushroom flavor. The desserts were not overly sweet. I would really recommend giving this place a try!

I had Citronnelle on my list for a long time! My friends were in from L.A. so I made reservations. Overall, the food was underwhelming. Maybe I expected too much, but I wasn't a fan of some of the flavors and also felt that the 'umami' was missing. However, the services was impeccable, the environment was romantic and high-end, so maybe I just had an off night (me and/or the restaurant).
Jason Z — Google review
After a 2 year absence & 5 star review... I found the lamb tender with delicious sauce, the mushroom risotto lovely, the soufflé as good as ever. The vegetables could use some seasoning, the octopus was a little chewy & salty, the pate used to be creamier & more generous. Dessert took some time to come. The salad could do without the pickled pearl onions which hit one in the back of the throat. But nice flavor overall.
Leila M — Google review
Very small and tight vibe. Just a few tables. I did not enjoy the service that day as well it was slow with nobody there and her vibe was weird. The steak and fries were good. Steak could have been cooked better.
N T — Google review
We have been to Citronnelle twice. Very special little French restaurant. Citronnelle is a gem, we will reserve a table again. The combination of the assorted seafood dish complements each other and tastes very delicious. Usually shellfish tend to leave sand in the dish, but this dish delighted me from beginning to end. The sauce tastes great. We tried different dishes for both dinners, and each one was a pleasant surprise...bring your own favorite wine (not provided by the restaurant) and enjoy the family atmosphere, friendly conversation...it was great! We can't wait for the next time 😋

We had a great time here. Joshua was our server and was so attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and super nice. He went above and beyond. He recommended the fried cauliflower appetizer and we now highly recommend everyone to try it. It was so flavorful! We also ordered the Chipotle chicken sandwich and the steak salad, both delicious. I ordered the smoked Amarillo margarita, it wasn't my speed. I felt bad I didn't like it, but Joshua could tell and offered me a different drink. I ordered the Let's Get Frosted drink and it did not disappoint. It was perfect. Thank you Joshua for making our lunch so fun!

Was given a recommendation from stranger I waited on at work. Well it was a great recommendation. Was edited on right away. Food fid come out a bit quickly , but I was the only one In restaurant. Only got the street corn and lemon ricotta Crustini. Both were fresh and delicious . Presentation was just as fabulous. Street corn was on the sweeter side, but like having it mixed up. Will not disappoint. And for us who do not drink, they had mock tails. Which is a nice touch to not leave us out .

I've been a frequent and long-time visitor at St. Boniface in Ephrata, but this was my first time visiting Tied House. Loved the food and atmosphere and the service by Jacob was excellent. Other than the Maple Bacon Old Fashioned perhaps being a tad too sweet for my tastes, the drinks and food were excellent. The mac & cheese appetizers with the aioli sauce were spectacular! I had the 6oz smash burger and my wife had the carne asada tacos. Loved this place and will definitely be back again! Special thanks to Kyle for taking time to give us a personal tour of the speak-easy downstairs and event space upstairs.

Great service: attentive and friendly Food was fresh, hot and seasoned perfectly. Had their special Po-boy sandwich with fish and it was flavorful. For dessert I had their pecan pie which was REALLY good! Their guacamole could have used maybe a bit more salt...? It was a little bland. But everything else was excellent. Will return again.

Chellas Arepa Kitchen is a family-run Venezuelan food truck known for its award-winning arepas. These corn cakes are crispy on the outside and soft inside, stuffed with fillings like honey barbecue-roasted pulled pork or black beans with sweet plantains and cotija cheese. The housemade chimichurri sauce adds a flavorful touch to the dishes. The portions are generous, ensuring that you won't leave hungry.
1st time trying this and we were very impressed. The food quality was excellent. We had the #5, Vegetables Salteado Bowl, and plantain. Everything had great flavor and texture. Parking is very tight as this is along a busy road, but highly recommend.
Kevin R — Google review
The atmosphere is the key factor. Open, dedicated space, not competing with other food trucks, loud music is playing, was very lively. Weather was very nice the day we went, which made the atmosphere even better. Staff is cheerful. Take out orders were more than those dining in, but the staff was working efficiently. I didn’t find the food excellent or even unique. It was good food but I wouldn’t go out of the way to eat there. I ordered the chicken bowl. For the price, I thought the portion was less.

Tasty foods all around! The service there was great, and had an awesome atmosphere. It's good for pick up, or eating there outside. Weird spot, but definitely worth it!!
Muddy M — Google review
As someone who is gluten-intolerant, this was a lovely treat! I ate here multiple times during my time in the Lancaster area. The food was delicious. The only downsides are that the arepas are on the small side, and they're fairly messy. Totally worth it, but price-wise it gets a bit expensive if you need to buy two to feel like you got a full meal. Oh, and I personally felt like they overdid it with the cheese. I had to remove a bunch so I could eat it and taste the rest of the food in the arepa.
Steven B — Google review
Highly recommend this spot for delicious arepas. We were in the area for antique shopping in Adamstown (food desert) and decided to try Chellas because of its high ratings. I was blown away. I was not expecting this roadside place to offer such great food. The arepas were flavorful and delicious - on par with arepas you can get in NYC. The staff were friendly and the vibes were great. I'll definitely be back.

One of my favorite places for take out in Lancaster. I go multiple times a month and it’s never disappointing. Always plenty of flavor, reasonably priced and fresh. Whether it’s a bowl or an arepa, you can’t go wrong. The yucca fries are crispy and fresh and the steak is always well seasoned.
Kelcie G — Google review
First is location. It's a cutout by an actual highway retaining wall. Small and you can miss it. Parking is tight. But people are in and out pretty fast. Now the food was good. We ordered the Grilled slice steak very good with a very fresh chimichurri. With it are white rice and black beans. The rice was a touch too salty. And that may have been because it gets busy and you can get overwhelmed. I know the feeling when I cook myself for large groups. Aside from that small miss. Very good. We also order the lomo and that was spot on with roasted red onions tomatoes and eggplant. And the rice was obviously from a different batch. And black beans. I would do that again. Average can and bottle option of beverage. But it is over all a nice place to dip in and out and get a good meal. Benches on location and a Porto Potty in the event of a really gotta go. seems to be a an area favorite too. 30 min wait. I am from Philadelphia so it's in Lancaster. English speaking and the customers are a beautiful mix of people of all races looking for a generous portion and a reasonable price. Families of 6 were lining up. And yes I would do it again for sure. Enjoy all.
R A — Google review
Chellas is so good. It has so much flavor - the chimmichuri and cilantro aoli are absolutely amazing. I'd highly recommend the yuca fries. I prefer the arepas over the more rice-bowl style options, but really, those are delicious too. If that's all they sold it'd be delicious, but the arepas are just so good that I can't pass them up. Also, the whole menu being gluten free is a huge plus for us and our family as we have multiple people in it who can't eat gluten.

We ordered via DriveThru and got the Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie. My goodness this was so good! Great place for a late evening beer. They have a short but varied draught list. Atmosphere is nice. We sat at a table outside next to the flag-waving Jesus on a Friday night. There was a three-piece outside playing some fun tunes, and our waitperson was cool, funny, and accommodating.

This place has an interesting concept and a pleasant atmosphere. I appreciated the service; however, the food was just okay. The chicken wings I ordered were quite greasy, and I didn't really enjoy them. On a brighter note, there is a beautiful view of the church from the summer terrace.

We had brunch before the matinee play, “Beautiful, at the Fulton Theatre. Zoetropolis is a “Three in ONE,” Restaurant, Distillery and Cinema for viewing independent, documentary and foreign films. At Noon on Sunday, the restaurant was reasonably busy and it provided both outside and inside seating. You could scan the bar code displayed at the table, to read the Menu online, on your phone , no paper menu, but available on request. My friend had Eggs Benedict and I had a PA Dutch specialty, Chicken and Cornbread waffle. Both excellent! Service was good and non intrusive. Definitely recommend!

What a gem! This cute spot that was kind of tucked away but also in plain site was everything I thought it would be! I went for Sunday brunch. My group got a variety of items but I personally got an orange crush and the omelette with a side of gravy and a Biscuit! The orange crush was fresh and delicious! The omelets was fluffy and the ingredients tasted super fresh. The gravy was the star!! Rich and flavorful with a slight kick. Paired perfectly with the Biscuit however, I had to split my Biscuit between that and the delicious fruit spread and butter that came with it! My friends got the chicken and waffle, the burrito, the eggs Benedict, and the biscuits and gravy. I'm not kidding when I say that everyone raved about their food!! 10/10 recommend!

The pizza is fantastic! The crust truly makes it and I haven’t had anything else like it in Lancaster. Aside from the amazing crust, the toppings are very generous. We ordered the pepperoni, the hoagie and the white Detroit style pizza and split it between four people and still had leftovers! Before we ordered the pizzas, we enjoyed the leak & artichoke dip and it was very creamy, but we did have to order extra pitas. I would absolutely recommend this place for a date night where you can catch a movie before or after or for a cool hangout with friends.

I have been going regularly since it opened. I had been getting delivery from Thoze Guys for a few years since moving here from NJ. Val'NTion's is the kind of restaurant I had been missing. You walk in, and the server/host Val knows my name. She is very professional and attentive. Her grandmother makes me feel very welcome, like I'm home. I would give them 6 🌟 if I could. I highly recommend them very family friendly. O, by the way, food is delicious.

I guess the chef was off last nite! We ordered takeout. Mussels in red sauce. It was mussels in soup. I am not kidding no consistancy to the sauce!
