Nestled near Strasburg, The Li'l Country Store & Miniature Horse Farm is a charming Amish farm offering an array of delightful experiences. The country store boasts homemade treats like root beer and blackberry juice, as well as locally crafted quilts and gifts. Visitors can also explore the Stoltzfus woodworking shop to witness the creation of custom frames.
My family and I stopped by while visiting some other attractions in Lancaster Pa and I absolutely loved this place. Wow…the horses, alpacas and goats truly made my day. My children and grand daughter also enjoyed the visit. I love that you can just freely roam and walk around to the animals. There is no charge and they have a honesty system in place if you would like to buy food to feed the animals. Pick up your treats and place your money in the box! Will return again and every time I visit Lancaster!
S E — Google review
What a great place to stop in with your kids to hang out with some mini horses, alpacas, horses etc. it was all free you just had to make a small donation if you wanted to feed the animals. You get to feed the horses goats alpacas and there's even a cute cat that hangs out there. Pick up some Amish souvenirs for a great price.

Great place!! Nice Amish farm with country gift shop, miniature horses and other animals, stroll along the path at your leisure. Enjoy some ice cream in a hot summer day
Lisa J — Google review
We were delighted to learn that walking a section of their farm was free, and we could pet the goats and horses that would come to the fence. They had multiple baby horses and baby goats when we went, and they were all adorable. We were very thankful to finally pet some of the animals we just kept seeing everywhere, and for free! And their country store was a great little stop, and we tried some of their homemade drinks (root beer and lemonade). They also had fresh homemade cheeses, pretzels, and were serving ice cream as well.

This is a lovely place to interact and feed farm animals. Their store is stocked with local, handmade food and house decorations. Our family stopped by several times and the children enjoyed the pony rides.
Jacob J — Google review
We visited yesterday and had a delightful time. The woman who is in charge of the pony rides has a kind heart and the farm itself is absolutely beautiful and deeply peaceful. The animals are taken care of and are loved.
Veil P — Google review
We had such a wonderful time bringing our two-year-old to the horse farm! She loved every part of the experience — from brushing and feeding the horses to riding and going for a cart ride. Even with the windy weather, she had an absolute blast. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

It wad a very cool free petting farm! The animals are very friendly. The owners are extremely kind!

The Amish Farm and House in Lancaster offers a unique opportunity to explore the traditional Amish way of life. Visitors can take guided tours of the historic house, farm, and schoolhouse, as well as observe animals on the property. The experience provides an up-close look at the daily routines and customs of the Amish community, allowing guests to gain insight into their simple living philosophy and traditional practices.
What a lovely experience this was! A beautiful tour of an Amish settlement in Philadelphia. Takes about 4 hours if you do it leisurely. They have multiple options. A guided bus tour takes you out to the countryside showing the country life. A house tour educates you about the daily life and traditions of the Amish people. And then there's a self guided tour along a 15-acre campus with lots of spots to discover. Lots of photography spots. You get to interact with farm animals as well. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. They even have a good gift store as well. It is a must visit and highly recommended spot if you are in Philadelphia.

The bus tour is highly recommended — it’s both informative and a great way to see how Amish people live. Along the way, there are opportunities to interact with Amish locals and purchase handmade goods, which adds to the experience. The farm itself is okay and interesting to walk through, offering a closer look at daily life and traditional tools, but the real highlight is definitely the tour.
Fan Z — Google review
Jack our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! The house is so interesting and the farm was such a great surprise. The animals are well taken care of and there is a lot of history throughout the farm. So many things to look out, so make sure you make enough time to check everything out.
Traci V — Google review
My friends and I did the 90 min bus tour and then the house tour. I personally liked the house tour much better than the bus tour. The bus tour was nice to drive by all the Amish farms and we stopped at two different locations. But I felt it was more like here is where you can buy quilts and baked goods. The house tour was very informative to learn about the way of Amish life.
Sonja C — Google review
We travelled here for the day from Maryland as it looked good, however first impressions were not great. We expected it to be in the country side, a bit more isolated than it was - it's next to a massive target! So that threw us straight away. We only did the farm tour as we had a 3 year old in the group and the house tour was recommended 5+. It was nice, there were some informative signs about what the building were etc the farm animals looked well cared for. However it wasn't worth the 3 hour drive to come and see. Maybe worth it if you are in the area and maybe better if you did the house tour, but it think we'd have been better off going to a local farm to where we were staying in Maryland. Overall I wouldn't recommend traveling out your way to visit, especially just for the farm visit.

Me and my family decided to visit the Lancaster PA for the weekend, we really wanted to check the Amish way of living so we decided to come to this place and spend almost all day here, we took a shuttle to go inside this simple yet full of history places, me and my kids enjoyed the trolley ride we also went to their workshop and found a lot of unique and interesting items that they make manually, their labor is unbelievable, they live a simple life, their food is freshly made every meal, we are learning so much on their way of living. We saw their houses and school, my kids play on their playground and the tractors. I recommend that stop by in here to see what his amazing historical places when visiting Lancaster.
Cherry W — Google review
The bus tour was a waste of time honestly our driver /guild was a total tool. Now for the positive the house tour was amazing the woman was informative and brilliant. The grounds are amazing the animals and horses are great we loved the house tour but save your time and avoid the bus tour.
Nicole A — Google review
This place has great marketing for sure. It is similar to what you would see from a county fair and when you are walking around the farm your view is a commercial shopping center including Target and CiCis pizza..... disappointing The horse area has empty hay bins and hay shelter and there is trash all around the walkways including shredded trash where the grounds mowers runs over candy wrappers etc shredding them into pieces This was the worst experience of my entire vacation- the office was closed at end of my visit so no one to talk in person and no staff in sight during the visit other then the cashier who clearly did not want to be there . Over one week later still upset about this experience and fully believe it is a money grab tourist scam by the owner

Nestled in the tranquil woodlands of northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Wolf Sanctuary of PA is a family-owned refuge offering guided tours and special events like Full Moon nights. Spanning over 80 acres, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe wolves and wolf-dogs in their natural habitat while serving as an educational center for wildlife conservation. Visitors can sign up for guided tours to learn more about these majestic creatures and enjoy the serene surroundings.
The guided tour was a fantastic experience. Our guide Kristen was extremely knowledgeable not only about wolves in general but also the back story of each individual wolf. This is a forever home for these wolves and most definitely not a zoo.
Elizabeth H — Google review
We went for our dad's 75th birthday on a full moon night. I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. We hated that more tickets were sold than expected (which we know helps the wolves) and we didn't get the small group tour to learn. The wolves are majestic and their howling beautiful. We did not get to see the entire sanctuary because there was not enough volunteers, that made the trails clogged with too many people. We took chairs and carried them. That sucked. You DO NOT NEED CHAIRS. There are benches and a fire pit by the gift store at the end of everything. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. We were thankful for all the knowledge the pony-tailed volunteer dropped on our large group of about 100 people. We appreciated the no kids under 16 rule for the moon night's too. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.

We actually had the pleasure of staying in one of 3 cottage's on the property. We stayed in the Paymaster's Offfice. It was an adorable cozy place that had a gas fireplace, a large air jet soaking tub, kitchenette that included a coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, cook top with two burners, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Breakfast is included with your stay and was delivered to the cottage by Maggie. Also included is a tour of the wolves. In the early morning hours, we had the pleasure of hearing a symphony of wolves. What a beautiful way to wake up. Everyone should experience it at least once. They take great care for these beautiful creatures. Our tour guide Michelle was very nice and knowledgeable about every wolf on the property. They all have a story to be told. I highly recommend going in the fall when the wolves are more active due to the cooler weather.
Alma W — Google review
I loved my visit to the Wolf sanctuary. The volunteer was awesome and he worked there for over 20 years volunteering, extremely knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I will certainly be going back when all the leaves are down so you can have complete full visual of the wolves. The grounds are pristine and well kept. Can you tell I loved it there?
MomMom M — Google review
We did the full moon night walk. The wolves were on and off active. We learned a lot from the guides. I wish you were able to know the entertainment before booking. There was a poet our night and not live music.
Chris H — Google review
This is a really interesting place to visit. I would recommend it! It is an experience you will remember for a long time. You get to see them up close and personal. How they interact with each other and the guide does a great job explaining anything you want to know about them. You will find it educational and entertaining with guided public and private tours. Book ahead when they have limited availability. They also have a gift shop if you want a souvenir.
Dragonfly — Google review
Had a private tour with Denny this weekend and it was awesome. We got to see and learn about many of the wolves and their back stories. I would 100% recommend making the trip.
Jessica W — Google review
This place is incredible. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable, the wolves are respected and intentionally cared for, 1.5 hour out from Philly - worth the drive. Will visit again. Close to Shady Maple if you want some good food after your visit

Pumpkin patch
Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is a working farm spread across 300 acres of corn, soy, and seasonal crops. It offers over 50 activities for families to enjoy, including a 5-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, slides, wagon rides, and a petting zoo. This agritainment destination provides an opportunity to experience an operating farm while enjoying agriculturally-related entertainment.
This place was great! A perfect time for the whole family! You could spend the whole day and not do everything! They have a large corn maze, peddle carts, carnival games, good food and plenty of slides, climbing equipment, petting zoo and fun events for all the seasons. There is also a bunch of little kids stuff to with a outdoor theatre with kids movies, and a whole little town of stuff that is monitored by staff so kids can’t just run away when you aren’t looking. Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m really glad we tried it out and we will definitely be back ❤️😊

One of my favorite farms in Lancaster county it’s a tradition that we go every year. My kids are now getting older, but they still enjoy visiting because of the wide range of activities for all ages even adults. I feel like every year they make the experience better and better by adding Additional things for all ages to do. They also have some of the best photo prop areas to take wonderful pictures.
Yarely D — Google review
Overall, this place is geared for kids, but there is plenty for all ages to enjoy. I'm in my 60's and thoroughly enjoyed this farm. My wife wanted to go there to pet and feed some animals, and she was very happy with the opportunities she had there. She also enjoyed the paintball shooting booth. There is a lot of walking, but it's not too hilly, and there were plenty of places to sit and rest. Here's a tip... there's not a lot of shade while walking around, so be prepared for a lot of sun!
Danny F — Google review
Was the best corn maze we have been to so far and there were so many activities for all ages. 12 out of 10 for sure. Music, pig races, slides, bikes, paintball, nerf ball and tons more. Prices for food were reasonable not priced like they have you trapped. Hot cider donuts!
James W — Google review
This is the best farm experience in Pennsylvania. We went in Sept 20 and it was a fall Saturday which means lot of activities and specials. The farm is so big that 7-8 hours is nothing and you can enjoy more than that. Tons of things for kids and amazing place to be in. We loved the Maze, Pig race, pretend play sections, big slides and many more interesting games. So much fun that we cannot explain. Must visit place in Lancaster, PA.
Debasish R — Google review
First time visiting here. Went with my Godson. What a great day we had. One entry fee covers most of the activities including the corn maze, wagon ride various games and rides for kids. spent close to five hours here and didn't see everything. Corn maze has three levels (20min, 45 min, 2 hours or more) We did the longest version which took 2 hours and 4 minutes. They thought of everything including port-a-potties throughout the maze and a concession stand in the center with drinks and snacks. Various playground type amusements for the kids when they were tired or walking. Petting area with various farm animals and a second with about eight highland cows. You can feed the animals for $3 per cup of food...worth the price. Staff is very friendly and professional. Food prices comparable to a theme park. There were multiple places to choose from and a variety of food. We have decided to make this an annual event each year and intend going back in the spring for the baby animal weekends. Well worth the price of admission and kids and adults will have a great time. RECOMMENDATION: Get there 20 minutes before opening. The parking lot fills up FAST. They have plenty of parking but you may do a lot of walking to the main gate they later you arrive.
Glen C — Google review
What a great place! I’ve been going to Cherry Crest my whole life and never once has it disappoint. My favorite things to do are slides, trampoline, and country carts and basically everything else but those are my favorites. They have a lot of places to get food but it’s very expensive for what it is. The shirts and hats are also very expensive. I had a milkshake from the creamery and it was amazing. My twin also enjoyed his vanilla soft serve. The only thing I don’t like here is that it’s cashless. This is a very popular place for summer camps and lots of kids bring cash but you can’t buy anything with cash because it’s cashless. Other than that, if you are ever near here bring your kids (You don’t even need kids just go it’s that fun!)
Thomas C — Google review
I almost don’t want to leave a glowing review bc I want to keep this place a secret all for myself. A must do attraction when you come to Lancaster. The staff is friendly, the grounds are impeccably maintained, and it’s a great value for the cost. The food is delicious especially the apple cider donuts and ice cream. There are so many activities to do that even if something is crowded you can find something else that isn’t. My son loved the tiny town and seeing the train pass through the farm. I’ve been 5x in 3 years and will continue coming back for many years to come!!

The Pretzel Hut is a charming local spot with a retro atmosphere that's perfect for gathering with loved ones. Their menu features a variety of homestyle casual eats, including bison burgers, cheese steaks, chicken pot pie, and taco salads. In addition to traditional soft serve flavors, they offer unique options like teaberry or peanut butter in pretzel cones for a delightful salty-sweet treat. The restaurant also boasts a petting zoo on-site, making it an ideal family-friendly stop.
The atmosphere is everything! Food is great, ice cream is amazing, park is nice. We love the bonfire it really makes you feel comfortable and cozy while enjoying your ice cream and laughs with your friends and family. Animals are adorable, we love Any and the goats. We go often and love it each time.

I drove by this place many times and finally decided to stop. So glad I did. All the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was cute and very kid friendly. They have a petting zoo and a little park for the kids. Even though the food is like snack food, it was really good. The burger I had was amazing. It’s now my 2nd favorite burger. Nothing can top Heisys boom boom burger!!!!
Amanda K — Google review
Saw this online and when we went it did not disappoint. Got ice cream first then went to sit at picnic tables to eat. Once kids done they loved playing on swing set. Then ran up hill to petting the goats and seeing the other animals. Donkey, mini horse, and bunch of rabbits. Then back to playing while we got some quesadillas from the cafe that were made pretty fast even though they were busy. The cafe was so cute decorated. Bathrooms clean (port a potties outside) They were so delicious and gave a good amount of food. Then we got some pretzels and my husband got a root beer float. So yummy! A must try! If you’re in the area definitely a must with kids and can spend a couple of hours there.
Kristie D — Google review
While everyone seems to be making a big deal about all the changes, I think the new changes are good! The food is definitely off the charts in flavor, the petting zoo is still awesome and the upgraded playground area for the kids next to a fire pit where adults can chat and supervise their kids is amazing. I have 0 complaints. This definitely appeals to all ages still, however, I saw a much younger crowd also in attendance than previously, when the previous owners had the place. You can spend an evening here, they aren’t any more expensive than your local creameries in nearby towns, the line is worth the wait! The ice cream and the hot food are separate lines, this is good if you want to to eat a hot meal first, if it’s a hot day and you only want ice cream, anticipate a longer line.
Jeffrey Z — Google review
I absolutely love what the new owners did with The Hut! It is such a cozy friendly environment! The animals are well taken care of. Food is incredible and the ice cream is delicious. I love their soft serve flavor changes!
Jessica B — Google review
One of those places you drive past a million times but never stop in! Made a last minute u-turn for some ice cream on a whim and I'm glad we did. On Sundays they only have pretzels and ice cream, so be advised that the regular hot food menu is not available and you order at the outside window. There was a nice fire pit and heating lamps outside, rly warmed us up. The peanut butter ice cream could use a little more pb flavor in it, in my opinion. Got to pet some rabbits. All in all very pleasant visit. The workers were all smiles and we got to see the pretzel dough being rolled, neat!
Caelan T — Google review
After visiting another pretzel bakery and being very disappointed with the pretzel, we had the best pretzel we've ever had in our lives from here. It was SO buttery, crisp and chewy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. Nice and hot and not overly salted. The beer cheese we got on the side was also delicious. Service is great, and the store looks really cute. We liked the petting zoo in the back, the attendant for the petting zoo was really friendly and did a great job talking to us about the animals.

Me and my boyfriend went here for a date, i saw it off tiktok and saw it had a kind of big petting zoo with a fluffy cow and more so i was pretty excited. First off, food. If you’re from philly and you get the cheesesteak, its not like philly. i think i got so used to philly cheesesteaks that i expect every cheesesteak to be like it. for me, the cheesesteak was like a 6, they don’t put mayo on the bread and just felt like something else was missing?? maybe onions?? my boyfriend on the other hand liked it, he said its like a 6.5. GET THE MAC AND CHEESE, if you had popeyes mac and cheese its like on the same level of good as the pretzel hut and if not, pretzel hut mac and cheese is better. i rate it a 9.3 and he says 9. THE PRETZELSSSS, its literally called the pretzel hut for a reason. the best, will come here again just for that pretzel and mac & cheese. ice cream was a HUGE let down. the looks are amazing, but the taste is something else.. i got the brownie sunday with vanilla sundae. i never had ice cream and threw the rest in the trash before, im a big back and i LOVE ice cream but this is straight up sad. the brownie tasted store brought, if not it was just a horrible recipe (AND BROWNIES ARE MY FAVORITE DESSERT). something was so off about that brownie. majority of the ice cream was just whip cream and my cherry fell.. the ice cream it self was okay, and the fudge was cold. literally the biggest let down, not even my boyfriend wanted it and he eats almost anything. the peanut butter and banana milkshake was good tho, you can DEFINITELY taste it. he rates it a 10, well sized. pricing is 10 too he said, we didn’t see anything overpriced. the ice cream was a bit of a wait, the sign says theres 3 sizes but when i said i wanted a medium brownie sundae they said they only have one-sized, obviously not a problem but if you dont have the sizes why even have the sign? the outside was cute, lights, benches, fireplaces, even a little playground. but now heres the problem. the little free petting zoo, it was honestly so sad to see. the goats seemed good, going up high but one of them squeezed through the gate to the ponies???? the ponies, there was two of them but such little room.. ponies require 1-2 acres of land but their area is the size of my bedroom, if not maybe its even smaller. they were NOT happy at all, they’re not thriving in there at all. there was another one at the front of them, the littlest gate if them all, only had cardboard for shade. and then the pigs was honestly the worst part, they have NO mud at all, all they had was very tiny bit of shade from the little pig house things, they’re obviously overheating. pigs require mud especially during summer. pigs don’t sweat like we do so they use mud to cool down. if you can’t even do mud then maybe a sprinkler, SOMETHING to make the pigs cool down, they’re suffering. i was also looking at the reviews and turns out there used to be a brown fluffy cow, kinda sad that it’s not there anymore but i hope he had enough space to run around. i didn’t go up to the chickens and rabbits because honestly it was just sad. I did see a turkey, so thats cool. the place would be a 4/5 if they took care of the animals more, but because it looks like they don’t its a 2/5. ALSO, i did research on the pigs and ponies specifically because they did look like they’re either sad or suffering from the heat. so everything about the mud and acres was from research. edit to response : okay that makes sense with the ponies and donkeys but what doesnt make sense is the pigs, if it was at the back then why did they chose the shade? me and my boyfriend didnt see any water or mud at the back at all. for the cheesesteak, i was just clarifying for anyone else trying because cheesesteak with no mayo is odd to me because i usually had them with mayo, no problem there! and with the sundae, i looked back on the menu and it says nothing about one size only for sundaes. im happy the ponies and donkeys are only visiting so ill put it to 3 stars but the pigs are my concern.

Nestled in the serene landscapes of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Refreshing Mountain Retreat and Adventure Center is a top-notch Christian retreat center and outdoor activity hub. It offers an array of retreat options for various groups and thrilling outdoor activities such as zip lining, pool parties, and team building exercises. The resort provides cabin and cottage rentals for overnight stays, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the rustic charm of Lancaster County.
I've been wanting to check this place out for the last few years and we finally made it down there and will absolutely be back! Our first impression was how clean and well-maintained the property was. They have taken great care to keep their facilities updated and maintained. Our family purchased the ascent package which included two ziplines, the aerial obstacle course, rock wall, and a few other on-site activities like sling-shots and the reptile house. Our kids range from 6-16 and they ALL loved the ziplines. I think next time we would purchase the package that included the other ziplines as well because the kids loved that part. I've been on other ziplines that required a steep climb and these didn't which was nice because it was accessible to a wide range of ages and ability levels. We spent about 2.5 hours there and felt like we got our money's worth. It was a highlight of my kids' spring break. My wheels are already turning about bringing teams or youth groups down here as they definitely have a perfect set up for that.

Absolutely by far one of the top greatest experiences I've had in my 65+ years, and to top it off Alex and Emma made it even more awesome. Best guides ever. Can't wait to make this an annual event....thank you to all the staff as each one of you were AMAZING

For anybody who has adventurous kiddos, I've got a place for you. My 7-year-old daughter and I checked out Refreshing Mountain for the first time yesterday and spent nearly 5 hours there of pure fun. Together we did 5 ziplines, tackled all three levels of the the ropes course, climbed a rock wall, fed some barn animals, enjoyed the beautiful playground, road pedal carts, and so much more. The property was clean and the staff was so welcoming and helpful (it actually felt unrealistic because of how most businesses are ran these days.) Choosing to spend our day at refreshing mountain was the best choice we could have made for our mommy & me day! Run, don't walk, to enjoy your own day at Refreshing Mountain. 🤸You SO won't be disappointed. (And if you can, request Starla and Thaddeus - they were the bomb.)

5 stars — Because where else can your kids fly through trees, hug a pig, become wild plant experts, AND be fully worn out before dinner? Refreshing Mountain has officially earned its spot as our family’s home away from home. We’ve been coming here at least twice a year for seven years straight (minus the COVID gap we’ve all blacked out). And every single visit has been pure magic. Today? Top-tier. We ziplined, tackled obstacle courses, climbed walls like tiny action heroes, and visited the farm where one of my kids fell deeply in love with a pig. (We are now apparently a “we need a pet pig” household. Send help.) But this time, we also tried something new—a foraging class, recently added to their already amazing lineup of activities. My kids are now self-proclaimed wild plant experts, and I’m only slightly concerned they’re going to start making backyard salads out of suspicious leaves. But in all seriousness? It was fantastic. Educational, hands-on, and so much fun that no one even asked for snacks during it. A miracle. And then there’s the moment that keeps us coming back: years ago, when my disabled son Rhys couldn’t zipline on his own, the incredible staff made it happen with a tandem ride that let him soar through the trees like a superhero. It was a moment I’ll never forget—and the kind of kindness and intentional inclusion that defines Refreshing Mountain. Every staff member we’ve met has been welcoming, patient, and genuinely happy to help families make unforgettable memories (even if we’re loud, chaotic, and slightly muddy). This place isn’t just an adventure—it’s a gift. 1000/10 recommend. Just maybe don’t come during peak Carlisle car show traffic, unless you enjoy testing your patience before the ropes course.

We attended the homeschool day and it was truly "refreshing." The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and very inviting. The check in was super easy, the staff is amazing and so friendly. My girls (5,9 and 11) had fun from 10 am to 5 pm, non stop! The price for the homeschool day is super reasonable and we are grateful to have this available to us. Thank you all we can't wait go back.

Nestled in the heart of Lititz, The Market at Oregon Dairy has transformed from a quaint farm into a vibrant hub for food lovers and families alike. This charming destination is particularly famous for its delightful homemade ice cream, offering an array of flavors that cater to both traditional tastes and adventurous palates. Visitors can relish their treats in a spacious outdoor area featuring a playground and even an overhead goat path, making it perfect for family outings.
If there's one thing I found so far with Lancaster County's markets is that they are nice and clean, bright and have some very interesting selections. The Market at Oregon Dairy is one such example. The aisles are nice and wide with plenty of room to maneuver and their aisles are nicely organized which makes finding what you're looking for simple. Like many of the places in Lancaster County that sell produce, they have some nice and fresh produce that is grown locally in the area. Maybe not the best deals, but you know what you're getting will be good. Being this is the market right by the dairy, they sell their own milk and dairy products in store and they don't disappoint. I very much enjoyed their milk and its fairly priced as well. They also make much of their deli items and other dairy products in-store as well with a variety of good items. And of course plenty of PA-made snacks to be found here too. I don't know for certain but this store looks to be an IGA affiliate as they had some product and promotions tied to that chain of stores, but for the most part the Market at Oregon Dairy does their own thing. At various points during the year, they also host some events including at harvest time, so if you're relatively local definitely check in to see what's going on. Definitely stop by if you want some dairy almost straight from the cow or some unique treats. At the very least, the view of the dairy from the market are great as well.

I brought my family in the fall for the corn maze and it was so much fun! There was so much to do and the maze was challenging yet doable. The food was yummy, the games were fun, and the baby cow was adorable!

Such an amazing family oriented place!!! We have gone twice now, each time trying something new. The buffet at the restaurant is amazing, the gift shop in the market is so cute, the ice cream is incredible, and the kids love the playground! We drive an hour to come here. Most recently we came to try out the barn train ride tour. We just missed the 7:00 tour, so when the train ride came back around I asked if she would be able to take one more. Without hesitation, she said yes and off we went. (After we paid for it). We were SOO thankful for this amazing woman. My niece & nephew loved it. The adults also had so much fun learning facts about the farm through out the tour. 10000/10 highly recommend.

I’ve ordered multiple cakes from the bake shoppe and I am always impressed by their work. They are always willing and able to work with our (sometimes very specific) requests. We recently had a cake done for my mother in law’s 60th birthday (wildflower/tea party theme). The picture doesn’t do it justice. There were sparkles throughout the design and the cake is always excellent tasting. I sent an image of a design we wanted to recreate and the cake that was made for us was almost identical. We loved it! I highly recommend ordering from them!

We had a relaxing day at Long’s Park. There are playground areas for the kids. Picnic areas, plenty of ground to walk, beautiful Lake and many other things to do. It was peaceful. We plan to go back next time we visit Lancaster.

My friend and I went to Pennsylvania for 3 days. We discovered this park while looking up dog parks for our little furbaby. There are several ponds w fountain sprays and ducks. It is a very long and wide historic park that was once a couple’s home and they left it to the community in their will. There is many wooded areas and benches and a comfort area w a restroom, picnic benches. There is also a small building w food drinks and ice cream. We loved it and found it peaceful. 😍❤️😃

It's a very nice park. Something for everyone, a beautiful pond with ducks and two fake swans (reason?). The weather was perfect. The prices however were out of the average persons range. There were some great artists and types of art. Otherwise a very nice event.

This place is absolutel magic! I was visiting the area and someone in passing mentioned a nearby park. I'm so glad I decided to take a long walk at Long's Park. It was peaceful and I saw people eating at picnic tables, walking, riding bikes, etc. There was also plenty of parking. Highly recommend!

This park was great for a nice walk after breakfast. It's relaxing, quiet and beautiful. It's also really well kept. The squirrels have obviously been fed by humans as they immediately associate cars and people with food. Upon parking, several ran up to our vehicle, and we could see them at other vehicles. They also followed us and would stop in front of us waiting. They were adorable and harmless and very good at guilting us for not having food, haha. I just wanted to note that so someone isn't startled when getting out of their vehicle. The ducks are also very used to humans. They do not approach, but they do rest along the walking trail. There are several playgrounds throughout the park. There are also plenty of benches, and I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

It's an over populated park.. There's koi fish in the pond which have taken over unfortunately.. no sport fish in there for anybody to catch and release other than minnow sized who knows what.. there's a giant snapping turtle, leave it alone please. Keep this place cleaner than it currently is or it will soon shut down. 😒 I wish there was bass in the pond..

The North Museum of Nature and Science is a fantastic destination for families and anyone eager to delve into the wonders of nature and science. With its captivating dinosaur gallery, interactive discovery room, and the impressive SciDome Theater that takes visitors on an astronomical journey through the galaxy, there's something for everyone. The museum features permanent exhibits showcasing live animals, a diverse collection of birds, fossils, and minerals that allow guests to engage in hands-on learning experiences.
This place was fantastic for my two children - one of which is autistic and the other a toddler. There is a really fun live bee hive between glass and you can see the working bees moving about, the queen bees, everything- I had never seen that before so that was fun. There is an extremely underrated section of the museum in the lowest level: all kinds of taxidermy, precious/semi-precious stones and elements. This floor also has a set of cabinets with “curiosities” - preserved small insects, reptiles, and some animal bones that have anomalies like a two headed turtle, gigantic beetle, bats, etc. The museum is very hands on, but for my autistic child, he found the quieter part was more what he needed.

Great museum with numerous interactive exhibits for children of all ages. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and virtually had the whole museum to ourselves. They have a live animal section with reptiles and amphibians. The entire basement level is dedicated to birds with a huge taxidermy collection. Also, there's a cabinet of curiosity with numerous interesting collections of all things. Definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem museum, A+.

Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Eastland Alpacas offers an enchanting experience for families and animal enthusiasts. Spanning 30 acres, this farm is dedicated to the well-being of alpacas and provides an educational and enjoyable environment within a charming rural backdrop. Visitors are greeted with the opportunity to interact closely with these gentle creatures, immersing themselves in the allure of farm life.
First time being in the farm. Me and my husband had such a good time hanging with the cutie alpacas. The place is beautiful and nice. Will come back in the warmer season so we can enjoy it even more. (If you’re planing to come, be advised that on cold/windy days might be not so comfortable) The owner and his wife are adorable!

Our career recently brought us to an incredible hands-on training experience at Eastland Alpacas, and it was truly unforgettable. We had the opportunity to learn directly from the source how this family-run farm operates—from the care and daily routines of the alpacas to the full process of turning their fleece into beautiful, high-quality products. The team walked us through every step of their journey—how they got started, the trials and triumphs of running an alpaca farm, and how they’ve built a sustainable business rooted in care, passion, and patience. Their story was not only informative but deeply inspiring. We even got to hand-feed these gentle, curious animals—which was a total highlight! This experience was filled with meaningful lessons—about hard work, craftsmanship, and the value of connecting with nature. We’re so grateful our work allows us to cross paths with people living out such intentional and fulfilling lives. If you’re ever in the area, we highly recommend taking a tour. You’ll leave with more than just knowledge—you’ll leave with a renewed appreciation for simplicity, purpose, and the animals that help make it all happen.

We had the most wonderful time visiting the alpaca farm with my two grandsons, ages 8 and 10! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and the experience just kept getting better. Kevin was truly outstanding — kind, patient, and incredibly funny.. He had such a natural way of connecting with the boys, answering their questions and making them feel like VIP guests. He took the time to show us how to feed and pet the alpacas, explained fun facts in ways the kids could really understand, and even helped us capture some adorable photos. The alpacas themselves were absolutely adorable — gentle, curious, and clearly well cared for. The boys especially loved the getting up close with the animals. I highly recommend this farm for families looking for a unique, educational, and heartwarming outing. We’ll definitely be back!

When they have their open house, GO TO IT! Great for young and old alike, there’s nothing quite like the experience. You can feed them, walk them, give them a hug! It’s terrific. Plus the tractor ride, barrel train, and balloon animals. Make it an all day affair or just sty for an hour. Either way, you won’t be disappointed!

Kitchen Kettle Village is a historic Pennsylvania Dutch village located in Intercourse, offering a charming collection of over 40 specialty shops and restaurants. Visitors can explore rustic and artsy shops that feature an array of unique gifts, including homemade jams and jellies, handcrafted leather goods, and exquisite quilts. The village's historic buildings house quaint shops where guests can purchase homemade fudge, hand-crafted signs, high-quality quilts, and more.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kitchen Kettle Village is an absolute treasure in Lancaster County! If you love charming small towns, unique shopping, and amazing local goodies, this place has to be on your list. We spent several hours wandering through Kitchen Kettle Village, and honestly, we could have stayed even longer — there’s just so much to see and do, all conveniently located in one spot. First, let’s talk about the crafts and handmade goods. From beautiful quilts and intricate wood carvings to pottery and handwoven baskets, the craftsmanship here is top-notch. You can actually watch some artisans at work, which makes the whole experience even more special. The Jam & Relish Kitchen is a must-visit. We sampled so many jams, relishes, salsas, and butters that we lost count. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, and it’s impossible to leave without at least a few jars to take home. Deerskin Leather Shop has gorgeous handbags, belts, and accessories, all at reasonable prices for the quality. If you’re looking for unique gifts or a little treat for yourself, this is the spot. Pepper Lane Fudge & Sweets was another highlight. So many flavors of fudge, plus other candies and chocolates — perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. The Olive Basin was a surprise gem, with rows of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars you can taste before buying. The staff here were super knowledgeable and helped us find some fantastic pairings. Village Handmade and Village Soap Company both caught my eye with beautiful soaps, candles, and home décor — all handmade and surprisingly affordable. Perfect places to pick up a souvenir or gifts that feel special and unique. Beyond shopping, there’s live music, beautiful flowers and landscaping, and a real sense of community and charm throughout the village. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has that cozy, small-town vibe that makes Lancaster County so special. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and craftsmanship you’re getting, and it’s wonderful having so many different shops all located in one easy-to-walk village. You can shop, snack, and stroll to your heart’s content without ever needing to get back in your car. Kitchen Kettle Village is a perfect day trip destination, whether you’re shopping for gifts, stocking your pantry with delicious local treats, or just enjoying the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back — there’s still so much more to explore! Highly, highly recommend.

Kitchen Kettle Village was such a fun and charming stop! There were so many shops to explore — from homemade treats to handcrafted decor — and even some of the cutest little Airbnbs right on-site. I could’ve taken home so many snacks and goodies, but the semi can only hold so much 😂 We still managed to bring back a few favorites! The fudge-making was so fun to watch (and taste!), and the pretzels, ice cream, and kettle corn are absolute must-tries. It made for such a nice, relaxing afternoon in the heart of Amish Country, and we can’t wait to come back again soon! 🛍️🍦🌾

I wanted to share my thoughts on my most recent visit to Kitchen Kettle Village, which truly feels like a home away from home for me. My sister and I have been visiting for over six years, and I even came here as a child with my parents. I particularly enjoy the jams and delicious cookies, especially the soft molasses and gingerbread varieties. Kitchen Kettle Village is a wonderful place to visit with family and friends. I appreciate that the Amish countryside has retained its charm over the years and that the community continues to uphold its traditions. The rooms are always clean and ready early for us.

Loved our visit to The Village Kitchen! The Jam and Relish Kitchen is my favorite, so many great jars of all kinds of food. Love the cookies and they have vintage candy too. Be sure to grab some caramel corn from the Papaya Kettle Corn Shoppe (so good!). And don’t miss the Christmas shop Grand Place (family owned and operated) such a fun place to wander and check out Christmas Nativity sets from all around the world. Tip: make sure you go upstairs or you will miss it. There is also a donut shop across the street. Walk down Pepper Lane and cross the Newport Road and ask for the wedding donut at the M&A Sweet treats. They have lots of Amish pastries. Can’t wait to go back!

Ice cream shop
Pine View Dairy is a family-owned farm that produces and sells its own milk and ice cream. Visitors can savor homemade waffle cones filled with rich ice cream in over 24 flavors while enjoying the sunset from the front porch or interacting with the farm animals. It offers a unique opportunity to experience local Lancaster agriculture, allowing guests to witness cow milking and even pet baby cows.
We stopped by this working farm after reading good reviews about them on Google. And it didn't disappoint at all. The ice cream was so good and wish I could go back for other flavors. I tried the coconut pineapple and espresso ore caramel. 2 scoops in a cup for $4.99. The texture is unlike those you buy from big brands. It is soft and creamy enough yet do not melt easily. They do sell the packed ice cream, milk, some cookies, nuts and chips, plus other small items inside the store. The cashier was pretty friendly and nice. Parking was easy and available right outside the store. Plenty of seating area to sit and enjoy the ice cream.
Anna K — Google review
We came here because it's nearby and had positive reviews. The ice cream was not good. I had the triple dark chocolate and espresso oreo- the chocolate was just chocolate, nothing dark about it but not bad. The espresso oreo was terribly gritty, like straight coffee grounds instead of espresso or espresso flavoring within the ice cream. They don't allow samples either or this could have been avoided. I threw it away. I wanted to buy some market items with my ice cream but couldn't, you can't place an ice cream order inside and you can't pay for market items outside. Forcing folks to make two transactions is really irritating so I didn't bother with the market items and left them. Our milkshake was two inches from being full, and even though I obviously had my hands full already with three ice creams, I had to ask for a lid. It's my geriatric dog's last week and we just wanted to give her a special ice cream visit but it was a super disappointing trip and not at all worth $25.

What a fun stop with quite delicious ice cream! It's a working dairy - you can see the cows being milked right next to the ice cream order window. There are cute baby cows as well. Highly recommended stop if you are with kids. There's a little shop with local goods as well. But the highlight is definitely the ice cream. So fresh, creamy, and delicious. Worth a drive!
Laura D — Google review
Hands down the best ice cream I’ve tried. The fresh dairy makes a huge difference. The buttery pecan ice cream was heavenly. Highly recommend coming here. Fun to see the baby cows too!

Dairy farm creamery with a convenience store. Enjoy the area with outdoor seating tables, benches and rocking chairs. Baby calf’s on display is a treat for kids of all ages to enjoy
Kristina V — Google review
If you are looking for amazing ice cream served with a side of bad attitude, Pine View Dairy is your spot. We walk in, my wife politely says “Hi, how are you?” and the cashier hits us with an unfriendly “Yeah, what can I get you?” Strike one. I ask if I can try a flavor since I am torn between a few. She shoots back “No” and rolls her eyes like I just asked her to churn the milk herself. Strike two. Also, hope you like flies. Because they have them. Everywhere. Like it is part of the rustic farm to table ambiance. I get it. It’s summer. It’s a farm. But man they were literally swarming. We finally get our ice cream, say “Thanks, have a good night” and the same girl responds with another “Yeah” with no smile, no effort, just peak “I hate my job” energy. Plus, the small size is literally laughable. I think they used a Fisher Price ice cream scooper. I have seen more generous portions at kids birthday parties. The only reason this is not a one star review is because the ice cream itself was phenomenal. If they put as much care into service as they do into the ice cream, this place would be a ten out of ten. Right now it is more of a come for the ice cream and stay for the attitude kind of joint. The taste is the only thing that saved them. I honestly wonder if the owners even know that this type of service happens.
Austin F — Google review
I won't even bother to describe how good this ice cream is. By far the best I have ever had. We also buy their milk, I personally can't tell a difference but my family swears it's better than the other milk. If you are there at sunset, you'll catch some great views right out the front door. There is also a little shop with some frozen items as well as snacks and baked goods.
M J — Google review
We went to see COWS! There were several calves, about 2 weeks old, and they are SO FREAKING CUTE. Then we watched the cows in the milking barn, and one of them was licking my hand like it was candy (salt i guess). I. Loved. It! I have a video, but I can't upload it here...

Good's Store is a popular destination for both locals and visitors, offering a wide variety of merchandise. From clothing and shoes for all occasions to household items, garden supplies, and gift items, the store has something for everyone. Customers appreciate the friendly customer service and well-kept environment. Additionally, the store hosts an annual traveling petting zoo at its New Holland and Shaefferstown locations, providing entertainment for families.
Great place for pretty much anything but especially gear for those of us that work outdoors. They have the big and tall sizes of winter wear , rainwear and steel toe boots in stock and the staff will stop what they are doing and courteously walk u directly to anything you ask for. I wear a large size boot in EE width and they always have my size available. Their store in Myerstown is also excellent

Highly recommend Good’s Store. I’ve recently discovered this store where I buy Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread. The two employees that has helped me (Kristen and Kimberly) are an asset to the company.

If you have multiple interests in things... This is a great place. From Bird food to clothes. I even think there was Amish clothing here for sale. Hunting, fishing, plumbing, electrical, kitchen items, thread, yarn, cloth, wind chimes, bird houses and feeders, etc... it's a mini Walmart essentially. Always clean and well ran. Now... I've found.. It dabbles in all these areas, so don't think you will go in there and get some specialty item in plumbing or what not... This is your more common stuff for that project you are working on. But does have a nice selection and a wide breath of interests. Worth taking a peak in there.
Dan L — Google review
Great prices, great variety, clean restrooms. Housewares, material, clothes, shoes, scrapbook supplies, the list goes on. Don't miss it. Only complaint: they have a rewards program, but the points expire quickly, so no point for someone coming just once a year.
Lisa C — Google review
I know of nowhere else that I can find baby essentials like cloth diapers & pins, rubber pants, glass baby bottles, old-fashioned handmade baby clothes, and more for better prices and quality. I also know of nowhere else that I can find such high quality socks, slips, housewares, even handmade brooms, for such excellent prices. I found the best shoes I've ever worn for a solid $20 less than on Amazon (not including shipping!). The craft section is wonderful, too--have not seen such excellent prices on yarn since my childhood in the early 1990s! And on top of the prices and quality, Good's Store has a calm, peaceful Christian atmosphere that I find very soothing. Everyone who works here has impeccable manners and is friendly and helpful, too. I drive from the Allentown area 3-4 times a year, and it's worth the trip and then some! Especially with a baby on the way, I think I'll be coming MUCH more often!!! (I do wish that Good's would open up a store in Kirbyville, though--there's a sizeable Amish and Plain Mennonite community there, and I'd certainly go more often than once every few months if they did!)

I used to live nearby.Goods I moved an hour away a long time ago. Life goes on. A family member was there and wanted product that you would need a pickup truck for i happily volunteered to go get it. It’s an experience to go to Goods. The Staff the Products the atmosphere all 5star.

Great Store !! Was on our way to the Fire and Ice Festival in Lititz and it was colder than ever. We stopped there and got a soft warmest ever leather jacket, leather gloves and a Carhart hart and I got mittens and a Carhart hat. Then we went out to the restaurant and had chipped beef gravy and scrapple. Was and awesome stop before the Ice Festival !!

Wow, i love this store! They carry so many different things, a true department store. The quality is good-excellent. They offer an astonishing range from kitchen supplies, to fabric, to books, to garden supplies, to toys - literally something for everyone. It's fun just to walk through.

Pennsylvania Dutch restaurant

Bakery
Nestled in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Good 'N Plenty Restaurant has been a beloved destination for authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine since 1969. This charming farmhouse eatery offers a delightful family-style dining experience that encourages social interaction among guests. As you settle into your communal table, you'll be introduced to fellow diners from various places, setting the stage for shared stories and laughter over hearty dishes like fried chicken, pickled vegetables, and buttered noodles.
Oh my gosh! The Dutch Sampler has fried chicken, meatloaf and pork with saurkraut, I had whipped potatoes and chow chow as my sides and It. Was. Delicious! Becky was our server and she was pleasant, helpful and so quick. I highly recommend this restaurant, they have a nice shop also.
Patti J — Google review
Came here tonight for dinner and everything was really good. We chose the family style dining which was all you can eat fried chicken, baked ham, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, buttered noodles, apple sauce, gravy, bread, butter or apple butter. For dessert we chose apple crumb pie with ice cream and shoefly pie with ice cream. The atmosphere was really friendly with a gift shop and bakery downstairs. Well worth the short wait and the money.
John M — Google review
We opted to go to the other dining room as we wanted to order from their ala carte menu rather than their family style all you can eat option. It was a good choice as the portion size was generous as you can see from the attached pictures. We were also served their super soft bread with whipped butter and jam so we certainly had our fill!
Rock U — Google review
We tried the family style food. It was a very special experience to share food with the other people. The food and the service were good. The desserts were too sweet for me. Overall I recommend to have food with your family when you first visit here!
Andrew — Google review
Ok, I tried this spot due to a recommendation from an Amish woman. I personally liked Katie's Kitchen more for authentic Amish food. Let's see, this place was good that I can see what's cooking due to the open kitchen. The applesauce was okay, the wedding meal was weird but okay, the peppa slaw was fine, the mash was good. The refresher was very very light with sugar but that was fine with me. I'm not sure whether I'd be back but might come back for a breakfast meal. The server was super duper nice!
Sam R — Google review
The staff was so nice and inviting as soon as we entered the building. The family style dinning experience is definitely new to me, (sitting at a hs cafeteria type table with random people). I really enjoyed it though, met a few nice people and the food was good. The fried chicken and mash potatoes was official chicke gravy boat was clutch. My girl got the meatloaf it was good too. They have a family style all you can eat option for $26 per person. If you have the appetite for all that seems worth it to me. They have a nice gift shop too
Mo F — Google review
I really give them a 4 1/2 star rating. This place is good and most the food is pretty flavorful but I have come to other places like this one and they have given me just a bit more on some levels. This place is large inside and you have different choices on what may work for you to purchase a meal ticket. It's either large area with many sets for large groups or for small groups/couples that don't mind meeting new people on the all you can eat price. If that's not for you, then you can purchase off the menu items and sit at a smaller formal area. There's also a bakery on the lower level and a nice size gift shop. They also offer a large parking area that can hold many cars and has space for tour buses as well. That's a bonus to bring in big and larger number of people to visit. The outside area is nice as well with a small petting farm zoo.
Jose L — Google review
We had a very good time at Good and Plenty. Our server was excellent. They have a novelty store connected to the restaurant and it's a lot of fun. It was my birthday on the day we went. They have a birthday policy that the birthday persons food is of no charge and a 20% off coupon for the novelty store is given as a gift. I was very touched. It covered my meal, my drink and my dessert. The restaurant is in the middle of Amish Country I found an interesting display of signs that I had to take a picture of. I have included a picture of it

Produce market
The Tomato Barn is a produce market in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania that sells fresh produce and livestock. The market has a large, fenced-in area where patrons can view farm animals.
The best tomatoes around because they grow in Susquehanna river dirt. Great prices on sweet corn. Fair prices for zucchini, fruit, and beans. Many farm animals and live poultry out back for kids to watch and also a small playground set.
Celeste A — Google review
I didn't show me the community for decades they are famous for their Jetstar tomato and a whole bunch of others. And even on the off-season they have a variety of pickled items and jams and jellies and a few other things. And looking around the barn is nice.
James T — Google review
Drove by a few times for some small jobs I was doing towards Millersville. I guess I had my expectations too high, seeing all the people there almost ever time I passed. Finally stopped to pick up some tomatoes. Quality of the tomatoes was far below what I would expect from a place that appears to specialize in Tomatoes..... 9 out of 10 vegetables that I flipped over were starting to rot, had mold, or were bruised and soft. Sorry, but I wouldn’t stop there again.
Shawn I — Google review
Hard to review fully since we only went here to do strawberry picking. The grounds were very muddy and the strawberries were really picked over so it wasn't the greatest experience. Tomatoes are beautiful. They have great sauces and juices. Ice cream is good. Kids will enjoy the animals. Best to go in full season.

Lancaster Farm Sanctuary, located in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, is a haven for rescued farm animals. The sanctuary offers group tours and events that provide visitors with the opportunity to meet the well-cared-for animals and learn about their stories. Visitors describe the experience as being akin to stepping into a storybook, where they feel a sense of peace and tranquility upon setting foot on the farm. The spacious enclosures allow the animals plenty of room to move around and be admired or photographed by visitors.
Beautiful sanctuary in Lancaster, incredible team that runs the place, rescues and cares for these sweet animals, and educates the public about the cruel truths of animal agriculture!

This animal sanctuary rescues and cares for pigs, cows, horses, sheep, birds, goats, and even a llama. In the spring and fall they host tours to meet the residents and raise money for their care. This charity takes on caring for neglected and abused animals that are often found by police or community members. So many injured animals live long and happy lives because of the farm sanctuary. Please tour or donate to help these residents survive and thrive.

I have done a group tour of LFS and have been there for an event and it’s like being in a story book. The sanctuary does beautiful rescue work. Once you meet the animals, you can never get them out of your mind. The animals are well cared for, the sanctuary is clean and I’ve learned so much about each of them. The minute I step on the farm, my blood pressure lowers, and I feel at peace, like this is what heaven must be like and Jonina and Sarah are angels. Animals should not be eaten or exploited. Thank you LFS for all you do in making this world a better place.

What a wonderful way to see rescued farm animals. Accessablity is not a problem as the paths and drive are mostly small sized gravel. The enclosures are very spacious and allow the animals plenty of room to move and be photographed. The tour was very enjoyable and informative, lots of laughter and joy from folks who obviously love their work. If you love animals and want to volunteer this is definitely the place to go and see.

This was an INCREDIBLE experience! Sam and his family were so welcoming. He was happy to answer all of our questions about Amish life and farming. Feeding and petting the horse, goats, chickens, and rabbits was such a fun experience for us city folk. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn about this unique community from such genuine and kind individuals. Laura’s cookies were amazing! Make sure to grab some goat soap and jams at the end.

Absolutely magical experience today at this beautiful farm, garden and home. It wasn’t just that they had prepared so much for us to have such a great experience and showed us their great animals and had so much knowledge about all of it, It was the wonderful family that was here and hosted us with their adorable kids. We were lucky to have a private tour for just my husband and I and our three children, two of which were similar age to their kids. We left with the warmest feeling in our hearts, feeling closer to God,, after experiencing his beautiful creations and nature, and these very wonderful people. Thank you so much to this great family - would definitely recommend to anybody. They even made us delicious homemade cookies right out of the oven! We felt like we made friends today. Our kids had the best time and did not want to leave. I wish we lived close by, would definitely love to come back and visit!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!! We had a phenomenal experience with Sam & Rachel and highly recommend anyone schedule a tour at their farm. Sam was very kind, engaging, and open with our group as he answered our myriad questions about Amish culture. Rachel prepared homemade cookies and mint tea from her garden and also answered our questions. You can easily see and feel that they are both amazing humans with open hearts. I felt like this was an authentic way to learn from an Amish person about their culture and community and to support small businesses.

So fun! Goats, a horse, rabbits, ducklings, and chickens, and lots of interaction with the animals. Sam, Rachel, and their kids were lovely hosts and we all had a great time. My 3 year old told me that she wants to live on a farm, so I think it was a successful visit.

I have loved my visits at Moonbeam Meadows Farm! Sam and Rachel are wonderful hosts! Sam loves to meet people and enjoys talking with guests and Rachel is a terrific baker! She made us the best pumpkin whoopie pies I have ever had :) Their animals experiences are fun and their farm is peaceful and lovely. It is such a special experience and I highly recommend visiting them!!

We did the farm tour with two other couples and their young kids, and it was a hit. The family running it was kind and welcoming. The kids had a blast feeding and petting all sorts of animals, from goats to bunnies to chickens. It was a fun, hands on peek into real farm life and all the hard work that goes into it. You can tell the owners truly care about the animals and making the experience memorable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun for both kids and adults.
