Mexican restaurant
Cantina y Punto is a Mexican restaurant located in Bogota, known for its creative and authentic Mexican dishes. The restaurant offers a casual yet stylish ambiance with stone walls and an airy space. It is led by Chef Roberto Ruiz from Punto MX in Madrid, the only Mexican restaurant in Europe with a Michelin star. The menu features handcrafted tortillas, secret guacamole recipe, and high-end Mexican cuisine such as tuna chicharron tacos.
I have been coming to cantina y punto for a long time and for me it’s a place I plan on to continue to visit. This time was a simple visit and we had the brisket tacos, shrimp tacos and margaritas! First off the tacos and I have had most of the tacos on their menu are amazing. The brisket and the shrimp ones are my favorites but really I enjoy all of them. They make their tortillas right at the front, which is a huge plus not store bought. This is also one of the few places that has real hot sauce, however you need to ask for it as the typical person can’t handle it. The 3 basic ones are not too spicy but have really good flavor! (These are the ones the bring out at the start) The guacamole is fresh and simply amazing and lastly the margaritas there is a reason we each had 3!!! Great balance between the alcohols and the mix. The service was good and they took really good care of us and as always the place just is nicely decorated. As I said I have been coming here for years and their quality has remained the same the entire time.
Mark D — Google review
Average Experience The decor is nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was impressively fast. However, I was disappointed with the menu size relative to the prices; I felt I had to order at least two menus to leave satisfied. One odd thing was their quesadillas, which were more like tacos in presentation. While it was an interesting twist, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, I’d say there are better Mexican dining options in Bogotá that offer more value for your time. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way for this place.
Ömer K — Google review
Delicious food and nice presentation. Ordered guacamole with pineapple and peanuts - which was an interesting take on the traditional version. For main had al pastor tacos - which were juicy. Only wish the salsas were more authentic and spicy
Karthik M — Google review
Great food and service, just stopped by for a late lunch, but we would love to come back to try more of the menu. We had tacos and flautas, but the best was the cheesy chorizo with the corn tortillas! The servers were attentive and the atmosphere was great, super nice music playing and the interior of the restaurant is hip and clean. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
James H — Google review
I had a wonderful experience in this restaurant! The service was very attentive and friendly! After 5 months spent in Mexico I was curious to try Mexican food in Colombia. I wasn’t disappointed with the authenticity, flavors or appearance of the dishes served here. Obviously it can not be the same as in Mexico, but it’s a great option if you want something similar:)
Simpf A — Google review
Very good food and a wonderful atmosphere. Every bite I took was delishouse. I really enjoyed the food a lot. One of our guests was a vegetarian, and she only had the cheese quesodias and a salad and a side of beans. That was good, too! We are visitors to Colombia and thrilled to eat here.
Gregory B — Google review
We loved everything we ordered from here. It could have been from Bogotas general lack of flavor but this place will not disappoint. The waiter was over accommodating and helpful with recommendations. There was a healthy amount of vegetarian choices and we had a wonderful dining experience here.

When it comes to finding delicious tacos in Bogotá, El Pantera Tacos on Calle 122 is a must-visit spot that locals rave about. This charming taquería, with its laid-back vibe and friendly atmosphere, is perfect for gathering with friends over some cold beers. The menu boasts an impressive selection of tacos including chicken tinga, cochinita pibil, chorizo, fried shrimp, and even a vegan option featuring eggplant pibil.
Amazing atmosphere, full of fun and happy energy. The tacos were superb, although a tad expensive. Great variety on the dishes and tacos themselves. And the drinks were also delicious and super fun. They also have super interesting specials like tacos with Hormigas Culonas (big butt ants). The flan wa saldo delicious! Overall highly recommend this place for a weekday and weekend taco meal, with drinks or no drinks - super fun.
Dan N — Google review
Great tacos. They have special tacos on Tuesdays that are off menu.
Daniel H — Google review
Perfect place for great punk rock tacos, chill ambiance and good music. It is just the right place for dates or with friends. Their variety of tacos is not something you can find in a regular mexican place. The taste is very original.
Nelson D — Google review
The tacos were absolutely delicious!!!! Especially the beef one and the one with chicharrón (pork). If you happen to be around this area please make yourself a favour and stop by 😊
Laura L — Google review
Yummy food and tacos and drinks!! Very attentive service. Thank you!
Victoria B — Google review
Excelent place for some tacos. The recommended tacos are the ones with cochinita and the ones with fried shrimp. There's also lighter options with avocado.
Mateo C — Google review
This place has an incredible service, the waiters take the prize as they will do everything to make your stay pleasant. The food is delicious. The place feels crowded and the chairs are not comfy... But the food and the service is so good that you won't care about it.

Very good flavor! I would recommend a little less salt, otherwise very good.

Mexican restaurant
La Fonda Mexicana is a charming restaurant adorned with classic movie images and lucha libre masks. Their menu offers various options such as garnachas, tacos, and quesadillas. While some found the food to be good but not exceptional, others praised the amazing and authentic flavors. The service was highlighted as excellent, with staff being helpful and accommodating even for those who didn't speak much Spanish.
The worst thing about this place is it will make me forever disappointed with the Mexican food back home. The Horchatas were like nothing I have tasted before. The service was excellent. I don't speak much Spanish, and the staff were helpful in ordering and making sure everything was good. If you are reading this and don't come here, you are really missing out.
Joseph — Google review
The food is good, imo not great. Their menu states that everything is made to order and includes the approximate wait time. For the majority of my meal, I was the only one in the restaurant and the wait time seemed excessive. I can't imagine if there were more customers. There was a problem with my original order and the server was polite and professional in correcting it. He even recommended another dish, which was appreciated. Okay food and good service. If I go back, it would be to try the cocktails.

It’s the closest to a Mexican restaurant that I have been able to find in Bogota. Staff is very friendly and will help with every question or recommendation you might need. It does not take a lot of time for them to serve you, and it’s delicious.
Diana M — Google review
Wow, so many good reviews and I was excited. I ordered two degustation menus through Uber Eats and I felt cheated. I was supposed to get different types of tacos. I got many if the same and the tortilla tasted like dirt. The "chicken" quesadilla had no chicken just cheese. Sopes were not really flavourful. The flautas were tiny and deep fried. Only the tostadas and drinks were good. If I were to order ever again I would go for the tostadas only. Nothing else.

Sagrada Taqueria Calle 95 is a must-visit for Mexican food lovers. The menu offers delicious options, with the birria pizza being highly recommended. The birria tacos are described as the best ever eaten, especially the quesabirrias which are rich and flavorful. Despite limited space, the food here is truly exceptional.
Great food, service.

Not bad… although the smell of onion could be overpowering sometimes and I had that smell on my fingers for days!. The tacos are ok but the burrito with plantain is another thing, very tasty!

(Translated by Google) It is the worst taqueria in Bogotá that I have ever been to. The guacamole is aged, it is the most horrible thing, it is not freshly made, the seasoning is HORRIBLE, the prices are expensive compared to the place and the taste is lamentable, the experience is very very ugly, I hope to never return. There are definitely many BETTER taquerias, if not all. Mexican restaurant
La Incondicional Cocina Mexicana in Bogotá is a vibrant culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Nestled on Avenida Calle 24, this restaurant captures the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Known for its lively atmosphere and welcoming service, it offers a diverse menu featuring mouthwatering tacos and generous burritos at wallet-friendly prices. The ambiance is bright and spacious, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or family.
I recommend the tacos al pastor and the chicken tacos. They are small so get 2 orders of 3 if you are hungry. The flavor is great. If you are a hot sauce fan they have a decent one. Note this place gets busy so plan for a wait to get food if you come at lunch time.

(Translated by Google) Respectable service The food, being Mexican, offended me. Taquería La María is a must-visit spot for authentic Mexican street-style tacos and tantalizing tortas. Every Tuesday, they offer a 3x2 promotion on their pastor tacos. Their menu also features esquites de chicharron and other flavorful dishes. Located at Carrera 9 #60-88, this taquería has gained a reputation for serving some of the best tacos in Bogotá with reasonable prices.
Fantastic, the food-price is very accurate, the tacos they offer I love all of them, I had a conversation with the chef he is very nice and make great recommendations. It's a shame they don't have tables to sit and spend more time there however I understand the concept they handle makes this work work without them. Definitely a stop to make when I am close to the area and calm my taco craving.

Spanish restaurant
Restaurant
Pajares Salinas is a renowned Spanish restaurant in Bogota, offering a sophisticated dining experience. Established in 1953, it has become an institution for high-quality traditional Spanish cuisine. The menu features elevated tapas, seafood, meat dishes, paella, and desserts paired with an extensive selection of wines from various regions of Spain. The elegant interior with white tablecloths exudes a refined ambiance.
Best authentic Spanish restaurant in Colombia in my opinion. From the service to the menu of appetizers and main dishes to desserts or the wine or drink selections, everything is first class. One of my favorite appetizers from Spainish restaurants is Boqueones ( fresh anchovies in olive oil and vinegar and garlic ) , this restaurant had them served absolutely delicately and served as delicious as the ones you get in Madrid . We also had the garlic mushrooms and then the Chetaubriabd steak whicb was absolutely cooked to perfection . Wife had the veal Milanese and asparagus soup which was delicious. We had Spanish red wine and it was delicious. The place has a classy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating . Elegant , professional and courteous. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant has a great bar and seating area that does not encroach on the dining area . Highly recommended.

Great Spanish restaurant in bogota. Food was really good , loved the pan con tomate, calamari, and house paella . Service was very attentive also . I would visit again for sure

The food was delicious. Traditional ambiance, very attentive service, if you order paella you need to take into account 40-60min for preparation. Croqueta de jamon can be improved ;-) everything else was great!

My uncle used to eat here all the time, decades ago. He felt at home and appreciated that rare possibility of being fed even better than at home. This restaurant has a rich history and it still definitely lives up to it. All the food is excellent, but this time, we focused on tapas… I probably tried 7 of them and they were all as good as you’d find at the most respected spots in Madrid. The restaurant itself is designed in a classical style that is timeless. Upstairs they have a separate, more private bar. There is also a very quaint outdoor sitting area. Servers are true professionals. This is easily a top-5 restaurant in Colombia for locals and for visitors in the know.

I wasn’t sure at first but the quality of the food was insane. The oxtail was amazing, the service is attentive but you are paying technically American prices so it’s pricier than most regular Colombian restaurants. I will definitely be back!
Tiff E — Google review
Newly refurbished but with terrible acoustics conversations hard to have without yelling, overly close seating does not help. The food was middling at best due to over saucing all the selected meat dishes, waiter service extremely uneven, went twice in a week but no longer the upscale traditional restaurant of decades ago.

La Taquería is a delightful gem in Bogotá, where the rich flavors of Mexican cuisine come alive. Helmed by Yessenia Ibarra, an experienced cook with deep family roots in taquería traditions, this spot offers an authentic experience. The birria tacos are a must-try; you can dip them into a savory broth that enhances their flavor beautifully. Diners rave about the hearty tortilla soup and perfectly sautéed fajitas, though some suggest more tortillas to fully enjoy the meal.
We had dinner here tonight and had a great experience! Everyone was polite and very helpful. Our waiter was lovely and we loved the food!

Nice restaurant! Great service . The food is very good! The Nachos place is big and the fajitas are juicy, tender meet and tasty. To recommend.
Alice A — Google review
One of the better Mexican restaurants I've tried in Bogota. Tortilla soup was hearty and packed with flavor. The fajitas were delightful as well - the chicken was tender and the vegetables were sautéed perfectly. My only gripe was that they serve the fajitas with 4 very small corn tortillas. I would suggest making that 6 in order to accommodate the entire serving. The hot sauces they provided were phenomenal and packed a spicy punch you will struggle to find in a country that loathes spicy food. Fantastic service - attentive and sharp. I want to help Colombia take its service to the next level. While the service was good, the waiter lacked an understanding of the menu items and an ability to offer solid recommendations. Each waiter should try every dish so they truly understand what it is they are recommending. Oh and I really love that they don't blast music and enable you to hold an actual conversation. Solid spot with tons of potential. I will surely be back.

Very good food. The service was excellent. It did seem pricey but you get a lot of food for the money you spend. The nachos that are an appetizer is a meal of its own. I couldn't finish them. I had to save my burrito for later and when I got to eat it omg it was amazing. It was the healthy super burrito with grilled chicken. They deserve more than 5 stars

Delicious Mexican food can be found here. High quality ingredients and quick service. The fajitas, churros and beer with salt (!) were all outstanding. You won’t be disappointed, trust me, I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants, but La Taqueria will be hard to beat!

Food tasted good but the portions were much too small for the price the charged. I'm guessing the restaurant is probably not in good financial shape and that's why the food is more expensive than it should be.

Customers praise the friendly service and recommend trying the vegetarian options as well as the variety of hot sauces available.

Gallardo El Despachado offers a fantastic take on Mexican street food, with standout flavors and fresh ingredients. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the shrimp tacos—perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The shrimp had a slight crispiness on the outside while remaining tender inside, and the toppings complemented the seafood beautifully. If you visit, these are a must-try. The chicken taco was a bit of a mixed experience. While the seasoning and overall flavor were good, some pieces had a few hard bits that made the texture less enjoyable. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but compared to the shrimp tacos, it didn’t quite hit the same high note. One of the unexpected highlights was the fresh juices with carbonated water. They were refreshing, well-balanced, and a perfect pairing with the food—offering a light, fizzy contrast to the rich flavors of the tacos. Overall, Gallardo El Despachado delivers great flavors, especially if you stick to the shrimp tacos. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. A little more attention to the chicken’s texture would improve the experience, but it’s still a solid choice for anyone craving authentic tacos.

El Mexican is a delightful culinary gem that truly embodies the spirit of hospitality with its motto, "Mi casa es tu casa, but mi taco es mi taco." This vibrant eatery offers an impressive array of tacos, including esquites, frijol, suadero, pollo and carne asada, pescado, and al pastor. One of their standout features is the enticing all-you-can-eat option for just $42.
Very good California style Mexican food. Excellent prices, good selection, great music, rapid service. Taco Tuesday is an outstanding value.

I believe this El Mexican restaurant recently had some renovations because the interior looks really nice! The menu looks compact at a first glance, but they offer so many things and some great combo deals. And they even have an all you can eat deal 😮🌮 When we went, we tried a variety of tacos (which I sadly forgot to photograph), the loaded nachos and quesadillas. I really liked the quesadilla and the tacos - I had a fish taco and one of the vegetarian tacos. The menu is a bit confusing regarding the taco toppings, but the waiter was very nice and shared all the different options available. They also have some nice margaritas, including some fruity options like mango or maracuya. Overall, I really liked air and the vibe was cool at night. It was midweek so pretty relaxed, but I know they can be busy on weekends or on taco Tuesday. Definetly a good place to grab some Mexican food or sip a margarita with some chips and guacamole.

The tacos are nice, but a bit overpriced. Don't come at lunchtime, it's overcrowded and they are utterly understaffed for these hours. Nice location tho.

Great place, food was okay, shrimp tacos need to upgrade quality.. tasted old and dampy (left them, got scared) Music is great and the place is big enough, really well located, a bit pricey for the quality given... Chicharrones were also not crunchy... soft... blah, for the drinks Margaritas were ok, Mezcalada was good, and the spicy sauce is really good!

Renata is a charming taco spot in Bogota that captures the essence of traditional Mexican street food without any pretentiousness. With three locations, including two in the bustling Zona T and one further north, Renata offers an inviting corner-store atmosphere perfect for casual dining. The menu features some of the most authentic tacos around, with simple yet flavorful options enhanced by a variety of house-made salsas.
This is an interesting place in many ways. From appearances it looks like a cheap eatery because of the type of furniture, the layouts and the plates, cups and cutlery that's used. It is just so unpolished. But, the food, the service and hygiene is top notch. The prices are not very expensive, neither is it as cheap as it looks from the outside. What I mean to say here is that they have taken the pains to create a great and authentic Mexican taqueteria! Definitely has to be one of the best tacos I've tried. The flavours are excellent and my favourite part is it has such a raw ambience that you literally get the feeling of low tech street food in a hygienic environment! Definitely worth the 5 stars. Will be going again!

Renata has some of the best tacos in Bogota. Well priced, quick service and a small but perfect location. You order, then pick up and take a table with your friends. It’s a great, and authentic taco place.
Pedro C — Google review
This little chain has some of the most authentic tacos in Bogotá. They're simple and flavorful, but amped up by a variety of delicious house salsas. I was already a huge fan of the beef or chicken tacos with a "costra" (crust of melted cheese), but now the chorizo with costra is my favorite. Don't bother with the much-touted-on-their-own-social-media flautas. They're flavorless and greasy. While they're almost saved by the sour cream and guacamole sides I wouldn't ever order them again. That flauta disappointment would probably elicit a 4.5 if I could, but I deemed a 4 to be too harsh. The tacos are superb. Only Taqueria el Máster and Cantina y Punto are better Mexican in a city that's just starting to get damn good Mexican food.

Tacos al pastor are excellent here and probably the best i have had in Colombia. Add cheese and salsa roja. Many times i have been here and the other locations the margarita machine is not working. Much of the reason I go here is for margaritas. Learn how to make margaritas on the rocks! They are better anyways... If you fix the margarita situation its 5 stars.

Great, authentic, mexican taqueria! Although they only have few vegetarian options, the ones available are scrumptious! The eggplant and mushroom torta is great! And excellent portion-for-price ratio. It comes with a side of totopos, and the salsas are good tasty and spicy (uncommon in Colombia, where all hot spices are usually watered down to meet local taste). Recommend it!

Cantina La 15 Bogotá is a vibrant and sprawling eatery in the Colombian capital that offers an authentic gastronomic and artistic experience inspired by Mexican culture. The modern design of the space draws inspiration from classic Mexican cantinas, adorned with urban art featuring iconic figures like Frida Kahlo and Cantinflas. The restaurant presents a contemporary haute cuisine menu showcasing the rich flavors of Mexican gastronomy using top-quality ingredients.
The service was flawless. I have been to a lot of places that having been as busy as this one was last night, our dishes would've taken an eternity. The live band is really talented. Kinda funny to go to Colombia to eat Mexican food but I don't regret it.

Mexican food with a modern twist. The place has a cool, lively vibe with colorful decorations. The service is a big plus, everyone is super friendly and attentive. Take your time to check the menu, is huge. Many options to choose from, tacos, fajitas, seefood, ribs, or something heartier. I went for the four-taco combo, and three of them were fantastic. But I have to be honest—the pastor taco was a letdown. Their cocktails look great but they’re mostly ice. I also tried the chocolate sphere dessert and the flavor was just okay. Cocktails and desserts are beautifully presented, but the flavors are not as exciting as it looked. It’s a cool place to hang out with friends! Big tables for large groups. Credit cards accepted.

The food, atmosphere and service are all first class. We stopped by for an early dinner so there wasn't any live music yet, but it was still a lovely atmosphere. The high ceilings and spacious interior felt luxurious. We ordered the taco sampler platter and elotes and everything tasted great. The main I feel compelled to write this review, however, is because of their exemplary security practices. I carelessly left my phone behind and didn't realize until I was back in my hotel (probably an hour later). I panicked, and took a taxi back to the restaurant, not really expecting to ever see my phone again. Instead, the door staff immediately recognized me from the lock screen photo and directed me to their security team. He brought the phone out from a locked box, carefully confirmed my identification and returned my phone to me. I cannot thank the team enough for taking such good care of me last night. I am beyond grateful. THANK YOU!

Drinks were overall good, the classic margarita had no taste. The octopus was the best and 2nd best was the pork rib. The pork roast wrapped in bacon was dry. I loved the live music and good service

This restaurant is so vibrant. The food and the live band make the experience one of a kind. has a gastronomic proposal based on exceptional contemporary Mexican food, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and an incredible live artistic proposal, both mariachi and salsa, they have characters dressed as catrina and the atmosphere is great, I saw how they celebrated someone's birthday there and it is definitely something I will repeat. I thinks it’s important remark that I chose by mistake something with cheese(I’m casein allergic) and the staff was so kind and change my dish even when was already on my table and I Wasn’t their fault. It’s the kind of thing that make a place very unique. Awesome venue.
María C — Google review
The food was very delicious and the ambiance was great. The staff at the entrance were also very friendly. However, the waiter who served us seemed more focused on upselling than on providing good service. We ordered what we actually wanted to eat, but he kept pressuring us to choose the most expensive dishes instead. It didn’t feel like a recommendation—it felt like he was trying to rip us off. We weren’t allowed to simply enjoy what we wanted; instead, we were pushed toward what he wanted to sell. That’s not good service, it’s pure exploitation.

Masa tends to be a great place to have a casual lunch or breakfast, we went for the salads that you can choose how to build, overall an amazing option, great in size and taste! We also ordered the steak sandwich and it was great!!!! Service was slow and very disperse, but the orders came out fairly alright. I’ve been to MASA 105 before - loved the concept. The atmosphere, food, and the crowd complement each other and together curate a modern, enjoyable dining experience. MASA 70 satisfied in terms of atmosphere and food, but the service was lacking far too much. We waited more than enough time and it seemed that the waiter forgot to put in our order for more coffee and dessert. The restaurant seemed understaffed and our waiter was as running around clearly very busy so we didn’t want to intrude, but once we noticed another couple next to us become frustrated and get up to ask for the check, we decided it was time to do the same. I found it peculiar that once we were at the counter paying, the two desserts and coffee we ordered half an hour ago were now being served. We finished our transaction, took dessert to go, and ate during our walk home. It was delicious, though it would’ve been nicer to have enjoyed it at the restaurant with some more coffee. I would give this location another chance, but next time I’m coming when I have a few more hours to spare.

I got a pistachio croissant that was delicious (even though strangely covered in sliced almonds) and the shashuka, which was a little different than what I'm used to, but was still good. The fruit aromatica was fantastic! The service was friendly and the atmosphere perfect for a Sunday morning.

Coffee is great quality Pastries were fresh and not too sweet. The almond croissant was spectacular and just baked. The waitress were very kind although the service was a bit slow. Sandwiches? Absolutely delicious!

I was not convinced with their interpretation of a French Toast as it was very soggy almost like a bread pudding. Still the flavor was great and the bananas gave it a nice touch. My friends enjoyed their dishes also. The english sandwich was good but simple. Their pistachios croissant were asking for more nuttines.

El Techo Mexicano is a popular restaurant in Bogota known for its Mexican cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast at their main restaurant, La Maria, on weekdays. Guests can enjoy authentic Mexican flavors and dishes like tomato soup while being entertained by Mariachi music. The ambiance is lively, with occasional Mariachi shows in the evenings. It's a great spot for groups to gather and enjoy good food and music.
Fantastic México food. We arrived at El Techo and the smell reminded me of our time in México. They make the best and fresh salsa dip at your table. This is the best México food in Bogotá. Good selection of Tequila and large bar selection. Nice atmosphere and good music. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We came last minute and they found a place for us. Very recommended if you like Mexican food.
Ana P — Google review
Service is slooooowwww. Do not order the fajitas - yikes it’s just meat in stew with some tiny little bits of sides. The atmosphere was about the only thing nice and for me it was also loud. My friend did get a nice chicken dish, I would never come back here.
Noelle G — Google review
Absolutely horrible experience waiters standing around not interested in customers. We went on a Saturday as a large group and half of the staff was busy moving tables around to turn the place into a disco for Saturday night. Atmosphere is similar to a cafeteria. The mariachi is only a four man band… they were good but only play a short set. Food okay to good but…not great. Beware. You are much better off at any local La Chula or Cantina 15

Good place to hear Mariachis. Mexican food is good (but off course not comparable to the real Mexican food), I fully recommend the Tomato soup. Prices are mid avarege to high. The music is nice, a little to loud and in the midnight they have the Mariachis show (very nice If you enjoy this music). Good place foe groups.
Juan M — Google review
It took them 1.5-2.0 hours to prepare our food (tacos, which are supposed to be fast food, I guess). And when you’re super hungry, everything is supposed to taste great. Well, except their tacos. They were below average. The waiter was nice though.

Entre Cuates is a Mexican restaurant located in Usaquen, Bogota. Since 2014, it has been offering a vibrant and lively atmosphere for visitors to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu boasts a wide selection of dishes, including tacos villamelo, tacos carnitas, ceviche tacos, and vegetarian volcano tacos. The portions are generous and the food is served promptly. Guests can also indulge in refreshing drinks while savoring the delicious guacamole and nachos.
I came here for a quick lunch. The service is good. As I was by myself, I sat on the "patio". The restaurant itself has a good layout and seems to cater to groups for lunch. The taco trio I ordered was great. The carne asada, chicken and calamari tacos were all amazing. The calamari was my favorite by far.

The food was good and it came out very fast. I would definitely recommend the ceviche tacos, although I think they should specify that it comes with a crunchy tortilla rather than the normal one. Overall great experience!

Overall the food needs more salt, it kindof ruined the ability to enjoy the dishes. Adding more salt would make it outing, almost a 10/10. Fully reccomend otherwise
Oliver D — Google review
We had a great time here. The drinks were good and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. The guacamole dish for the nachos was huge and delicious. I was warned my enchiladas would be spicy but I just thought they were flavorful. It was very lively in there.

I did really enjoy this place. The dishes were big the beer was cold and the food was great. There is a pretty good selection on the card and there's also enough to choose from for kids. Friendly staff good place. I will come back.

Bad customer service! I ordered lunch and asked if the dish comes with cheese, because I didn’t want to have any of it and when it came it had cheese on it. Then I called and asked what that was about, the lady on the phone just responded it could be from the nachos, no excuse nada! Plus the nachos came in a separate bag, what an excuse!

Accessible entrance. Clean, spacious, and sanitized, including the bathroom. It did remind me of Mexico! It would be cool if they'd offer vegan food, they only offer a couple of vegetarian options, and they were super good and delicious. The spiciest sauce was spicy and delicious as well, but I'm sure they can go even spicier for being a Mexican restaurant. Staff was friendly and courteous, and they make sure to make you feel at home. The tables and chairs/sofas are spacious, it feels like you're at home. Value for money is great. I really liked this place!

We were the first customers for lunch, they didn’t give us the best table and in one hour no other group arrived. The waitress was not very kind, she was not taking care of us and we needed to call her several times to ask for the food, pick it up. Not vegan options. It’s a shame that the beans are made with pork fat and the only veggie plate have cheese. The waitress was not so kind changing the plate but at the end they did. Is a shame because the food is delicious and the restaurant have good decorations. Parking is not so easy but if you get first you are going to find a spot

Really enjoyed the mariachis and the band. The food was tasty, even though my tortillas were a bit cold and crunchy, but the service was perfect, they were everytime waiting for your questions. I took the molcajete Tierra y mar, they were really good, then I had carnitas and cochinita pibil, both were tasty, but the carnitas was a bit dry. And for refreshing I took some Jamaica and it was fantastic for a hot day or spicy food.

Good choice of authentic Mexican food and drinks, with great cocktails and food as well as a beautiful interior and excellent artistic murals, however this is one of the most expensive restaurants in the local and given the high price, there are some better alternatives at a similar price or slightly lower. Food was good. One person had the soup two people had tacos and one person had the quesadilla. No complaints about the food in all. We wanted to have plain water but the waiter said we had to purchase the water because they did not filter the water. So my question was "what about the ice in the drinks"? Some parts in Bogota you cannot drink the tap water. It was hard to believe at this restaurant because this was in a large Mall with may eating establishments.

We had good recommendations and good service from Jose, for example the "Margarita de Flor de Jaimaca" which was something new to try and I'll order it next time as well, also the soup, guacamole and tacos with costra were great. The salsa regañona de petróleo also really good. Thanks Jose and team for everything. Will be back

There are several things one must take into account, but first and foremost, food is paramount. Now, I have not been to Mexico that much, but if this restaurant's Mexican food is any indication, best food in the world, then. The service was welcoming and swift, and the restaurant was so crowded the waiters and waitresses deserve praise for being able to handle it as they so thouroughly did. As with any other restaurant, the problem had nothing to do with the restaurant, but with people bringing their obnoxious children everywhere.

MASA 105 is a popular bakery, cafe, and pastry shop located in Bogota. Founded by sisters Silvana and Mariana Villegas, who previously worked in New York City restaurants, MASA 105 offers a wide range of delectable treats from pastries like NYC-style doughnuts to sandwiches, tartines, and eggs. The establishment has three locations on calles 70, 81, and 105.
I’ve gone to MASA in the morning after a workout to eat their scrambled eggs and their green smoothie. Best scrambled eggs and smoothie in the area. It’s also a good spot to get some work done if you’re working remotely, try their salads!
Bryan H — Google review
Another great bakery in Bogota with fresh sourdough bread, a great selection of foods and a bright interior (+ a nice outdoor patio). I’ve been to this Masa multiple times and really like it for their food and atmosphere - both for breakfast or lunch. It’s one of the nicest Masa locations I know and has lots of seating and is always bustling with people. I would give it 4 stars, just because there’s a few things that could be improved. The main thing is service. Despite seeming to have a lot of staff, it takes a long time to order and sometimes we had to ask multiple people before someone took our order. And no one comes by again to ask if you want any additional food or drinks, even if you’ve been sitting there with empty drinks or table for a while. Usually I don’t care so much, but I really noticed it here. Regarding breakfast, I really like the shakshuka (with an extra order of bread) and the avocado toast. The pancakes looked really nice as well. I tried the French toast - it was ok, but not my favorite. When it comes to drinks, their coffee is good, but their almond milk isn’t the best. It was foamy, but it made the coffee a bit bland in my opinion. Aside from that, I can highly recommend everything from their bakery. The bread is really great!

The best scrambled eggs I have ever tried, so moist and fluffy. The sourdough bread and pastries are all very delicious! They have everything you need for a perfect brunch. Highly recommended. Jeisson was our server the first time I visited and he was amazing. Diego was my server the next day ( I had to go back again) and he was very attentive and so very patient with our large party. Thank you team MASA for the high quality products and service you provide on a daily basis. Keep up the excellent work!

Best pastries and coffee in Bogotá. This place became a favorite to us during our visit to Colombia. They have a good variety in their menu for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Pastries are awesome as well as their coffee. Kudos to Ivan, the barista, as he is quick, crafty and know what he is doing (the only one in charge of the coffee area with hundreds of orders per day and he delivers!). Breakfast burger was a favorite as well as the fruit bowls, fresh squeeze mandarin juice and French toast. Great quality and great service. Keep it up Masa, we'll be back!

Food was...OK, however as a person of Mexican descent who loves. Mexican food, I can assure you this ain't it. Also yes, hopes are small, but not the humiliatingly tiny things they serve...I ordered two because usually I can't finish two ropes, today for the first time in the history of eating at restaurants (in many countries) I left a place still hungry. The restaurant itself was nice, but I don't go to a restaurant to look at it. The service was good.

Really nice, spacious, and modern restaurant with excellent customer service. The food is incredible. Everything tasted unreal. The drinks are also really good. We were stuffed and had plenty to drink for around $70USD for 3 folks. We ordered several dishes all to share. The churro icecream sandwich was a fan favourite (especially for non-dessert lovers). Highly recommend.

This Mexican restaurant is in a beautiful courtyard at La Noventa. The setting and ambience are fantastic. They gave us 5 salsas to taste as soon as we sat down and they were all wonderful. We tried four different margaritas and ordered food to share. The sopes and memelas are tasty. The aguachile was perfectly seasoned. The Baja style fish tacos were my least favorite as the flavors were much simpler than everything else but the ice cream churro sandwich and coconut panacotta were a great way to end our night.

Renata Tacos, located in Bogota and founded by Roberto Ruiz, offers a similar concept to other taco establishments in Mexico. This hidden little spot produces great tacos. There is an eggplant/mushroom vegetarian option along with guacamole/chips. 3 or 4 tacos is a perfect size meal. The service was great and the food arrived within minutes of ordering. The different chilli sauces they have have some insane heat, worth trying them all. Patio and inside seating available. A great find.

Renata Tacos is a super casual spot that won't impress with its fanciness. The price-quality balance makes sense, considering its affordability. Don't anticipate the world's best tacos; they're decent for a speedy bite. While not exceptional, the tacos are suitable for a budget-friendly lunch option. I'd return for a convenient and inexpensive meal, as long as I'm content with average flavors.

Very affordable taco place, with some variety of flavours. Even though the filling is somewhat small the taste is very nice. The meat is well prepared and the spicy sauces are good. It's a very different concept in terms of Mexican food places in town so it catches many peoples attention. The place is always full and the people eat and leave, having always tables available.

To me it offers authentic Mexican tacos. There's a boom of taco places taken place at the moment in the city but most of them have Tex-mex menus and are afraid of preparing onions and meat the way it should be. Mostly because many people are afraid of spicy food or are too picky about unfamiliar flavors. Beverages are well prepared, too. It's affordable and the portions are right. Great place for a quick bite and nice nice service. Thé atmosphere is OK and music was in Spanish.

The Guac was good, the Esquites were not (too watery). From the Tacos we ordered our table liked the Cochinita Pibil (best one in my opinion), Al Pastor and the Chicharrón. However, the Birria Tacos were extremely bland as if the chef forgot to put salt while cooking the meat, and similar case on the Suadero and the Pollo Chipotle. I came to this place 5 years ago when it opened (and the food was awesome) but it seemed the place has changed ownership and names (same type of food, though) throughout the years and quality has come down. Service was OK, but not great. In my opinion, prices are high vs. quality of the food.

Fun and quick place for tacos, burritos and Mexican food. Good atmosphere and nice eating on the patio. The tacos de Camarones are super tasty and the burrito bowls are small but flavourful. Fun fast food tight restaurant for a quick snack.

Slowest Mexican restaurant I've ever ordered from. Waited almost 2 hours from ordering and the time kept on being pushed back, eventually to almost 3 hours from ordering. Ended up cancelling the order, but it was too late by then to order any food, so went to bed hungry. If you're busy, don't underestimate time to delivery - rather be honest. Rather lose an order one time, than lose a customer forever. Terribly slow. Would never bother with this place again.

Came here for the all you can eat taco event. I can understand a restaurant being busy, but it shows that they are understaffed and we literally waited around 30 mins for each plate to come through and sometimes the tacos were cold. Not only that but service is slower than paint running down a wall. As far as taste, pretty underwhelming 😕. Never again.

"El Pastor del Siete" is a popular Mexican restaurant located in the Siete de Agosto neighborhood. The establishment offers authentic Mexican cuisine, including delicious horchata, Birria, al pastor, and tripe tacos, quesadillas, and tortas. Visitors praise the flavorful food and the traditional Colombian taco available on the menu.
My favorite taqueria in Bogota. there are two tacos: birria and eggplant. They are both delicious. there's a patio upstairs beyond charming. Servers are kind and attentive. It might be out of your way: it's worth it.

This place gets a lot of hype online. So, here is my review: - the tacos are dry, they need some SAUCE (2/5) - birria and suadero I wouldn’t get again - Al pastor is good but needs some sauce (4/5) - the burros are okay (3/5) - my favorite was the quesadilla (4/5) Al pastor, although it looked nothing like a quesadilla - the service is excellent: 6/5 - there was a long line when we got here, waited about 30mins to get in Not sure if I’d come back again tbh

I went with my family. The food was delicious. Maybe they should have more variety of spicy sauces. The service was just okay, at the end the waitress told me that I had to wait on the table for the bill but she never brought it, I wanted to treat my mum , but she went downstairs and paid the bill. That wasn't nice. The music was a bit too loud and not everyone likes reggaeton.

Don Benitez Taquería has made a name for itself across Bogotá, with locations in both shopping centers and local neighborhoods. This beloved brand has become a go-to spot for many Colombians seeking delicious Mexican cuisine. Diners rave about the exquisite food offerings, from the well-presented tortilla soup to the flavorful grilled salmon served with Mexican rice and sautéed vegetables. The unique Tamarindo micheladas and Uchuva michelada paired with Sol beer are also highlights that add to the experience.

I tried the quesabirria tacos with a ginger ale and the tacos were just ok. The tacos I felt were very oily. And the broth was more of a pasty texture. As if it was blended up beans for the base, if that's helps you understand. Both tacos and broth lacked flavor.

I've had tacos at too many restaurants to count, and these were by far the worst I've ever had. (Even worse than Carnal's.) The price-performance ratio is laughable. With what I spent on three tacos, I could have bought six of much higher quality elsewhere. By the way, the chicharrón taco seemed like they'd added packaged chicharrones. Horrible. Taco restaurant
At Quitapenas - Taquería Popular, located in the vibrant neighborhoods of Chapinero and La Candelaria, you can indulge in a delightful array of traditional tacos. Their menu features mouthwatering options like the classic taco al pastor topped with onion, cilantro, and pineapple; succulent cochinita pibil drizzled with pickled red onions; and sweet caramelized pork tacos accompanied by fresh pico de gallo.
(Translated by Google) The quesadillas are delicious, they have different types of spiciness. And the best thing is pet friendly (Original) Las quesadillas están deliciosas, tienen distintos tipos de picantes. Y lo mejor es pet friendly

(Translated by Google) I was passing by and my 5-year-old daughter tripped and fell to the ground and scratched her little hand. I asked for the favor of lending us a bathroom so the girl could wash her hands. His answer was no. I don't know what their food is like, but this leaves a lot to think about their service and the human being who works at this place. In front is Crepes & Waffles and they lent me the bathroom here and thanks to that I am having lunch here with my daughter and my dog. According to Colombian law, it is the obligation of each and every one of the commercial establishments open to the public to provide bathroom services to children, women who are obviously pregnant, and elderly adults when they request it, regardless of whether they whether they are your clients or not.
