MASA 105 is a popular bakery, cafe, and pastry shop located in Bogota. Founded by sisters Silvana and Mariana Villegas, who previously worked in New York City restaurants, MASA 105 offers a wide range of delectable treats from pastries like NYC-style doughnuts to sandwiches, tartines, and eggs. The establishment has three locations on calles 70, 81, and 105.
I’ve gone to MASA in the morning after a workout to eat their scrambled eggs and their green smoothie. Best scrambled eggs and smoothie in the area. It’s also a good spot to get some work done if you’re working remotely, try their salads!
Bryan H — Google review
Another great bakery in Bogota with fresh sourdough bread, a great selection of foods and a bright interior (+ a nice outdoor patio). I’ve been to this Masa multiple times and really like it for their food and atmosphere - both for breakfast or lunch. It’s one of the nicest Masa locations I know and has lots of seating and is always bustling with people. I would give it 4 stars, just because there’s a few things that could be improved. The main thing is service. Despite seeming to have a lot of staff, it takes a long time to order and sometimes we had to ask multiple people before someone took our order. And no one comes by again to ask if you want any additional food or drinks, even if you’ve been sitting there with empty drinks or table for a while. Usually I don’t care so much, but I really noticed it here. Regarding breakfast, I really like the shakshuka (with an extra order of bread) and the avocado toast. The pancakes looked really nice as well. I tried the French toast - it was ok, but not my favorite. When it comes to drinks, their coffee is good, but their almond milk isn’t the best. It was foamy, but it made the coffee a bit bland in my opinion. Aside from that, I can highly recommend everything from their bakery. The bread is really great!
Sophia Q — Google review
The best scrambled eggs I have ever tried, so moist and fluffy. The sourdough bread and pastries are all very delicious! They have everything you need for a perfect brunch. Highly recommended. Jeisson was our server the first time I visited and he was amazing. Diego was my server the next day ( I had to go back again) and he was very attentive and so very patient with our large party. Thank you team MASA for the high quality products and service you provide on a daily basis. Keep up the excellent work!
Jackie S — Google review
Best pastries and coffee in Bogotá. This place became a favorite to us during our visit to Colombia. They have a good variety in their menu for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Pastries are awesome as well as their coffee. Kudos to Ivan, the barista, as he is quick, crafty and know what he is doing (the only one in charge of the coffee area with hundreds of orders per day and he delivers!). Breakfast burger was a favorite as well as the fruit bowls, fresh squeeze mandarin juice and French toast. Great quality and great service. Keep it up Masa, we'll be back!
Sergio H — Google review
Best breakfast and brunch in Bogota. Super recommended: The Tartine de aguacate & huevo; Danish de pecans & caramel and of course the Flat white or the cappuccino. AMAZING!!!
Hans N — Google review
Above and beyond! The place was super busy and they ran out of some dishes however it didn't feel like an issue, the server came in handy with her suggestions.
Rainel M — Google review
1. The food is good, 2. Services are good too, but the washroom was in maintenance during our visit, while there was not replacement measures. The rest are good. 3. The atmosphere is great, a good place to have chat or reading or just chill; 4. We order 2 dishes with 1 fruits juice and 1 coffee cost at 62000 COP (16USD). Recommended to come.

First review: Absolutely loved this place ! Food was outstanding and fairly priced We had the breakfast burger Salmon bagel Croquets French toasts (tasted more like banana bread we preferred the pancakes) Orange grapefruit juice - this was delicious Avocado lemonade Only negative is the insane line Second review: I had originally left an all 5 star review but I went back and ordered the same thing because we loved it so much the first time but the ingredients were not fresh service was very slow I’m not sure what happened you can see my second bagel in the last photo

Cafe
La Puerta Falsa Restaurant, a 200-year-old establishment located near Plaza de Bolivar, is a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. This cozy cafe has been frequented by well-known figures such as writers, actors, and ex-presidents. The menu features traditional Bogotano home-cooked meals including Ajiaco and Chocolate Completo.
It is the most famous place to have Sancochos and Tomales for a reason. It is claimed to be the oldest restaurant in Bogota to serve these culturally iconic dishes and it does not betray the expectations. Worth the wait and you will probably have to wait up to 30 minutes before you get in but I still highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and the place is cosy.
Simo C — Google review
What can I say… it was worth the wait! The food was delicious and the service was great, even though some people seemed to have their doubts :( The place is small, so a little patience is needed — but totally worth it. Great flavor!!! Highly recommended!
Art — Google review
I want to really give a shout out to the patient, friendly staff here. This place is so famous and so busy that it would be easy to be bored or irritable. But true to Colombian culture, everyone really treated me as an individual and wanted to make sure I got what I needed and had a positive experience. Wait time was around 15 min and then I was seated at the bar area. I ordered the classics, chocolate completo and the tamale. I’d describe it as good, solid comfort food (and generous portions). The tamale tasted very fresh and the chicken meat inside was still on the bone. My bill came to COL 28,000. Sat next to a woman from Bogotá who came for the tamale (an enthusiastic repeat customer) and loved the place for the food and the rich history, so it’s interesting to see that the appeal is not just for tourists.
Isaac L — Google review
Just stopped in to grab some dessert. Had the milk flan and the sweet curd. Both were good. The place fills up quickly and there are not a lot of places to sit…so get there early or be ready to wait. The service was quick.
Team T — Google review
After a city bike ride, a few of us ducked into this crowded institution — Colombia’s oldest restaurant, or so they say. Big queues, packed tables, no-frills service. You come here for tradition, not innovation. • The Chicken Soup: I’m not a soup guy, but this one? It had soul. Comforting. No bold spices, just warmth. • The Tamale: Possibly the best I’ve had in South America. Hearty, tender, wrapped in flavor. • Atmosphere: Noisy, rushed, authentic. Feels like grandma’s place, if your grandma ran a war-time kitchen. • Locals: Everywhere. Drinking coffee, tea, or grabbing a quick bite. • Scores: • Food: 8.5/10 • Atmosphere: 9/10 • Value: 7.5/10 • Worth it? Definitely — come early or wait long.
Nuwan A — Google review
This restaurant, one of the oldest in Bogota, is a must-visit for breakfast. Their tamal with hot chocolate is a must-try. For lunch, we had the Ajiaco, which was amazing. Their menu is authentic and delicious, and everything is worth trying. There’s limited seating, so there’s often a line, but tables rotate quickly, so you don’t have to wait too long. Definitely worth the wait.
Carolina B — Google review
What an unforgettable cultural experience! Located just steps away from Plaza Bolívar, El Palacio de Justicia, and La Catedral, La Puerta Falsa offers a true taste of Colombian tradition. The hot chocolate with cheese and fresh bread was absolutely delicious, comforting and rich with authentic flavor. The ajiaco was incredible, perfectly seasoned and hearty. From the warm service to the cozy, historic ambiance, everything felt like a step back in time. A must-visit spot for anyone wanting to savor the heart of Bogotá! 🇨🇴🍫🍲✨
Ricardo R — Google review
Tamales were great! The chocolate con queso was not. They make it with water instead of milk so I would suggest you get that somewhere else. Besides that, it’s in a great location, in a very historic building and I loved the ambience. Extremely fast-paced and buzzing.

Restaurant
Abasto is a popular restaurant in Usaquen known for its modern bistro-style dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The place is especially crowded during Sunday brunch, but their in-house baked goods make the wait worthwhile. Additionally, they offer the option to grab coffee and pastries to go if there's no available table. The restaurant also has a venue in Quinta Camacho where you can enjoy lunch with your pet.
I had breakfast at this restaurant twice during my stay in Bogotá, so this review is all about their breakfast offerings: Absolutely delicious, freshly prepared food with a focus on local Colombian cuisine — simply wonderful. Great value for money, too. The atmosphere is lovely, and the neighborhood feels safe and welcoming — everything both visitors and locals could ask for. I had the “Calentado Abasto” and fell in love with it. The portions are generous, but more importantly, the quality is outstanding. Fresh juices, fresh fruit, and the sourdough bread? So good it could almost be from Germany! Service is quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The seating is comfortable, with enough space between tables to feel relaxed and enjoy a bit of privacy. If you’re visiting Bogotá, this spot is a must. The neighborhood is not only safe, but also perfect for a stroll after your meal.
Joerg M — Google review
Its somehow a very famous chain, but we went there for lunch and although atmosphere was nice food was quite mediocre. Its probably more famous with its brunch menu which has local authentic dishes but we have missed it and the rest of the menu was nothing special.
Ezgi C — Google review
Fabulous family of 12 for 53rd birthday for son in law and 7 yr old twins. Everyone loved the food-lamb, shrimp, chicken and lomo all perfectly cooked and served with a superb garden salad large enough everyone enjoyed some. Good selections of wines albarino and temporally (2 bottles) with nice chorizo and empenadas rather than our usual grilled artichokes as our mouths watered looking at the menu. So full we only sipped cappuccino and Cafe Americano before going home for cake and presents. Rosa as always was especially helpful.
Richard B — Google review
The appetizers (entradas) are really good options. But not the main dishes. We ordered burrata and it's fresh, creative and on point. The main dishes lacked that same level of cuisine. We ordered ribs that tasted more like oxtail, and we also ordered the "signature" chicken 🐔 - this was disappointing because the meat was kind of dry -but greasy at the same time?? Appetizers versus the main dishes. 3-0. It's like they are cooked in a different kitchen. Staff is attentive and well trained. The ambiance and the people are nice. We'd come back for drinks and appetizers for sure.
KAREL L — Google review
The menu had a wide selection. We ordered the empanada with mole, which was stuffed and fried but was a tad too salty. The beef arepa also came fried with a side of sour cream. The green salad was fresh but the vinaigrette needed more vinegar, otherwise it was on the sweet side. The lamb stew was gamey and hearty, good gravy. Overall nice ambience and quick service for a late lunch.
Angela T — Google review
Excellent food, I highly recommend the arepas The flan and crumble were also delicious. The service was not perfect, the staff seems like they need a bit more training. There is not an official host so the waiters are taking turns seating people which is not efficient. Also, the food runners brought other tables dishes to us multiple times and the waiters seemed to forget about us after the food was served.
Magee C — Google review
This place is hit or miss. Been here twice and both times the experience has been similar. The servers are fine. Very nice and helpful. You have the option to dine inside or outside. I dined outside both times. The food is where I was disappointed. The presentation of the food gives you hope until you actually eat your food. My meal in particular tastes as if it was cooked simultaneously with another lunch meal. It gave a spicy taste to my pancakes. There are definitely better alternatives than this restaurant in the area. I suggest take your time and find another restaurant.
David B — Google review
We had breakfast here. They have a variety of eggs and other local delicacies. They also have a wide variety of tropical juices. I had Tamarind juice and another glass of Corozo juice, and both were thick and tasty. To start, we ordered carimañolas, which are baked/fried small rolls of tapioca flour with cheese, and they were excellent. I had the eggs with cheese and bail served in a clay pot/cazuela, and although they were ok, they were too cheesy for me. My friend had oatmeal pancakes. However, here they don't come with syrup, so you have to ask for honey. I liked the presentation of the food and the place and want to go back to taste other things. I went back and had lunch on my next visit. I had artichoke hearts and baked trout, although it was a bit dry. I liked it but wouldn't boast about it.

Al Agua Patos is a renowned eatery in the capital city, offering a delightful brunch that has gained popularity for its exceptional French toast. The restaurant also offers a lighter option of red fruits granola paired with delicious natural yogurt. Its simplistic yet elegant decor features wooden furnishings, creating an inviting ambiance. Al Agua Patos stands out as a unique choice for families seeking a kid-friendly brunch experience.
The experience is fun and interesting. Food is very good. I have been there twice and I got tasty “patos”. I love that the waiters introduce themselves before helping and then they are always careful about whether you need something or not. Book in advance during the weekend.

Wow! Best flavors and presentation I’ve had! Jesika did a phenomenal job as our server. Deliciousness! Thank you for your work ethic and for making such an incredible mixes of scrumptious plates. Will definitely come back and absolutely recommend. A must if you are in Bogota.
Silvia L — Google review
This brunch place is in a beautiful neighborhood with great service and tasty food. They serve two sizes of plates if you’re not too hungry and their fruit drinks are fresh and delicious. I had the sandia(tonic water, rosemary, watermelon and orange juice) and tasted the tamarindo tropical(basil, tamarind, pineapple and lemon). My dish was the saltando. It was crispy toasted bread on the outside filled with melted cheese, braised beef purple onion, tomato, thin sliced bell peppers, cilantro and a creamy cheese sauce to add on top. The beef was so tender and savory. A perfect small portion for being able to walk around. Definitely worth trying.
Celia C — Google review
Always the same: great service, I love the theme, yeah, I like ducks!, the food is just...amazing.
Polibio D — Google review
Nice food. Small portions. Attentive (sometimes disruptive) service. We had to reorder a soup as the used avocado was very hard and bitter. It was very loud with children using small Vuvuzelas due to a football match.
Jörg K — Google review
Loved the concept. Food was great and the staff was super helpful.
Spyros B — Google review
If overrated was a restaurant, it would be this one. It is not worth what you pay for. Paying over 30k for a peace of toast with some sauce on top is definitely not worth it. The Milo is great and the ambiance is decent but I would not get out of bed to eat here. I have been in 10 different instances and none of the dishes I have tried have convinced me otherwise. Overrated and mediocre.

Crepes & Waffles is a popular dining option in Colombia, known for its pleasant ambiance and friendly service. The restaurant's decor creates a charming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely meal with family. With over one hundred locations across the country, this signature brand offers great food at affordable prices. The menu features a variety of creative crepe recipes, from classic ham and egg options to more elaborate choices like the Parisienne and the Sensation Colombia.
Great place, welcoming and amazing food. Worth every dollar. The staff is friendly and well trained and the place has many nice seating. I highly recommend it!!!

Great food at a convenient price. This is a signature restaurant brand in Colombia with over one hundred locations nationwide. Service in this particular location is good but not great. Cozy bread serving is very special. Creative crepes recipes go from very basic ham and egg varieties to complex ones such as the Parisienne and the Sensation Colombia. Portions are generous and waitresses are friendly.
Glen T — Google review
The food looks nice and tastes good for a reasonable price. My issue is that after sitting us down and putting down fork/knives on the table, more than 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges us and asks us what we want to order.
Yuejiang C — Google review
Always a good option in Bogotá and in any city of Colombia. This particular Crepes has a very nice decoration that plays with the sunset and the lights of the place. The service is always something that many other places have to see and to copy to their own business. This time was for a delicious ice cream, tea, and a quiet good coffee. A very good space to chat with your family and let the time pass while you have a relaxing moment. The outside place also I want to say congratulations to be pet friendly with the people that go with their fury friends. Congratulations to the place.
JOSE C — Google review
After lunch in the area, a good dessert is a must! The sweet crepes were delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Their inspiring business model, focused on inclusion by hiring women to support them, is more than enough reason to visit. Definitely a must-visit anywhere in the world where there’s a Crepes & Waffles!
Moshé S — Google review
One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Crêpes & Waffles. I arrived straight from the airport, exhausted and just wanting a snack. No one welcomed me - I had to wander around while the staff stood in a corner laughing with each other. I asked if there was a table with a power outlet so I could charge my phone. They laughed and said “we don’t have.” I stepped out for a bit, came back, sat at the coworking table, and plugged my phone into my laptop to charge. Waited ages for someone to take my order - only for the security guy to come over and ask me to move to a smaller table. I said sure, but the table was filthy, so I moved again. Then, suddenly, they did have outlets. 😂 Finally got someone’s attention, placed my order, and 10 minutes later they came back to tell me they didn’t have the crepe I ordered. The cherry on top? One of them walked up while I had my laptop out and slid a paper placemat underneath my laptop mid-use. Super disorganized, inattentive, and just bad energy overall. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.
Giorgia M — Google review
This is one of the most classical place to have a casual dinner in Bogotá. I really recommend the ice cream bar with a lot of fruit flavors.

Fantastic bakery-cafe offering a delicious variety of breads (try the one with walnuts and cranberries, or the chocolate bread, crazy good), pastries (their croissants are a must!) and cakes (we ordered a yummy chocolate cake for my mother-in-law birthday). A great option for breakfast too or even lunch (check their soups and sandwiches in the menu). And last, but not least, super tasty coffee cups!

La Ventana is a popular restaurant that combines traditional Colombian and modern European cuisine, offering a wide range of dishes throughout the day. The buffet-style breakfast is a highlight, featuring both traditional Colombian options and continental choices. Chef Aldo Vargas focuses on reviving forgotten culinary traditions to immerse guests in the flavors of Colombia. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from its own vegetable garden and local communities.
Food is great ! Very delicious and again delicious and I mean it . I enjoyed my time at La Ventana. Check out my pics.

This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Hotel. We dined here on a Sunday night, it was not busy at all. We were greeted and seated promptly. Service was cordial and attentive. A varied menu with a good selection to meet your appetite cravings. We started by ordering a Margarita and a Sangria, refreshing! Warm bread is served with 2 kinds of butter/spread. A mini spring roll was served as the Chef's treat. We started with the Pumpkin soup, well balanced flavor with good consistency. My main course, Pizza Bianca, well prepared and tasty. My colleague's main course, Posta Cartagenera, great choice! To close our dining experience, the Chef sent a Mini Brownie, Yummy!! All dishes served with an eye catching presentation. This restaurant is known for its desserts, but unfortunately we did not have a chance to try them this time. I will patronize this restaurant again.

The Hilton Bogotá hotel is amazing due to his service and employees. My breakfast is always on point cause is done with love and outstanding service of people like Laura, Jenny, Jahhnly, Kevin, Ivan, Rocio, Ismael, Jose, Gabriel and all the staff that welcomes me to feel like home.

Food was pretty good, nice restaurant and friendly service. The coconut rice was delicious.

It is one of the most expensive places you'll find in Bogota, and given the current trend of overpriced restaurants that is really something. However, this one doesn't fall in the overpriced category, though it's prices could go 10% down easily. The reasons for it not to be tagged as overpriced: great service, good food, lots of options. I had the ceviche as appetizer, it was fine but after asking for some rocoto spice and adding to the sauce it became delicious. For main dish I tried chicken breast with a creamy sauce and capers, side of mashed yellow potato and bacon, the caper sauce was the best and both the breast and the mashed potato were good. Finally, dessert was what they call "Choco 72", a mix of different ways to serve dark chocolate, as ice cream, mousse, hard bar, and a few more, a great choice for chocolate lovers. If I go back I'll probably repeat appetizer and dessert, main dish was very good but still possible to improve. In any case a great lunch

Bagatelle is a charming café located inside Alianza Francesa in Bogota. While some have had mixed experiences with their croissants, others have enjoyed the French-Colombian breakfast and brunch options. The restaurant offers a variety of tasty dishes, including eggs benedict with prosciutto, calentao, and arepa de chocolo. The ambiance is lovely and the service is top-notch.
Amazing!! I got the croque de madame and my fiancé got a prosciutto tartine and they were both amazing. Coffee also hit the spot. The menu had a ton of options so I’m sure everyone would find something.

Mediocre but convenient to our hotel for a bite at 8 pm. Very slow service although our main server was sweet. After 25 minutes they told us they are out of rice (!). They subbed quinoa. It took about 45 minutes for our dishes to come out and mine was already cold. Pleasant room and some nice-ish looking pastries. Overall lame. Won’t be back.
ESB N — Google review
Kind service yet, the prices should be a quarter for what we received, using a fancy expensive ingredient is not a excuse for poor cuisine techniques, and even the simplest dishes were in terrible conditions the "caldo de costilla" was the worst i had in my life. Has the owner tasted the restaurant dishes ? Soggy probably reused French fries, poorly executed fried eggs this is.... The libanese were mediocre the arab bread cold just as it were served from a bag of generic breads, the "caldo" was probably reheated SEVERAL times The baggette was, afterall, despite the other issues, one of the best i had... it's sad how all the other things were so bad, it really deserves reevaluating your changes... what happened with you guys? I'm not returning back La baggette at parque de la 93, 3 years ago was probably one the best places good menu, good cuisine this was very disappointing

Perhaps the best breakfast I’ve ever had. This was absolutely delicious. So satisfied. Great menu options. Food takes a little longer to come out than usual but it is worth it. Almost licked the plate. The plates names end with persan. We had additional prociutto, avocado and hashbrown.

Very nice people served us a nice french/colombian breakfast. Prices not so high. Would definitely reccomend for brunch. We went on a sunday so it was really full, however we got our table in around 20 mins (which is super fast for Bogota jajaj) Ordered eggs benedict with prosciutto, calentao, and arepa de chocolo. Really really tasty, and there’s tons of options to choose from. If i’m not wrong it is also pet friendly! The decor is very pretty too. 10/10

Good aromática, they didn’t have croissant so offered me brioche. I was ok with the change until my sandwich arrives and was over buttered and partially cold. It’s not my first time here, so I will say it was just a bad day.

Experience the ultimate in luxury at the JW Marriott Hotel Bogota. The Spanish-style rooms are designed for a peaceful night's sleep, featuring soundproofed windows and 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. Indulge in detoxifying spa treatments or take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center, indoor lap pool, and whirlpool. With four unique dining options on-site, including The Market and Tamarine Asian Cuisine, guests can savor a variety of culinary experiences.
During my short stay in Bogota (4 days) I chose to stay in 2 different hotels in 2 different part of the city. I will say next time I will stay at the JW because of its location and walkability to several restaurants and bars. Check-in went smoothly and I want to thank Yohanna for taking the extra effort to upgrade me to a suite when when initially I was told there was no suite available. When she saw me on my checkout day she even inquired to see how I was enjoying the suite. The room could be a bit more modern but this is not a new JW property as the one in my city or others I have visited in the last 6 months. The bed was very comfortable, which is very important to me when traveling away from home especially after exploring the city all afternoon. However, all was well and the room provided lots of space for me to relax and work. The walls are thin as I could hear the TV from my neighbors room. The lounge is lovely and the food served during breakfast and dinner more than enough to make one happy. They do limit you to 2 alcoholic beverages which was odd for international property but hey the JW properties in the US provide 0 for free. The staff in the lounge also were a delight and very friendly. They ensure that you are taken care of when you are there and I noticed they made sure to remember each frequent guest name. I did not get a chance to eat in the Japanese restaurant but will ensure that I visit it next time. The gym is not as big as the W Bogota but the sauna is very nice and large. You will still be able to get your workout in and then relax in the sauna. Thanks for the warm hospitality from all. See you next time

One of if not the best Marriott hotels I've visited on 3 continents. Service is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, reliable and professional. The hotel has an amazing breakfast and the executive dinners are fantastic. The hotel has its own restaurant which is superb. Not many hotels can say that. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's also located in a good part of the city which is safe and close to other nice restaurants and shopping.

Great stay at the JW in Bogota. The location is nice, I enjoyed the spa, and the lounge is a great benefit. This property has many small details that create a great larger picture. The true benefit of this property lies within its staff! I fully recommend arranging transportation through this property. It was handled amazingly. I did have issues - but the staff corrected them quickly and politely. Thanks to the staff - but especially Vince, Paula, Steve, and the front desk at the spa!

Wonderful hotel that lives up to the reputation of a JW. Located in a very safe and walkable area of Bogota, with tons of great restaurants around. The property was beautiful, with very clean rooms and wonderfu service. There's always a cab outside which made getting around quick and convenient.

When I travel, I generally search out smaller, non-branded boutique hotels. But, above all, I look for excellence. The JW Marriott Bogotá is a relatively large hotel and is about 15 years old, but it’s still my top pick in this fantastic city. I appreciate well-designed and well-appointed rooms that guarantee a good night’s sleep. I also look for hotels with good AC, effective sound buffering, and consciously designed illumination. This hotel has a great food and bev experience (an excellent breakfast), a pretty good spa & health club, with gym, steam, etc. The location is centric, ideal for most business and tourism purposes. Above all, the staff is among the best I’ve had contact with, and I travel quite a bit. Whether it’s front desk, rooms, or F&B, they are all warm and genuinely desiring to optimize your visit. They are highly professional and effective, even when handling more complicated requests or issues. So if you want special bedding or have dietary restrictions… or want a trustworthy driver for the day, these are all easy feats for them.

This place was great and the hospitality here was one of the best I've experienced. First this place was always super clean, second they go above and beyond on the food they make, third the best staff ever, forth it's just gorgeous on the inside!!! If you go to the lounge in the evening order a Gin and Tonic you'll thank me later! 😁

Convenient part of town to access many attractions. Some construction limits access at times. Very courteous staff especially Stefania at the front desk and Margarita in the dining room and many, many more could be named. The Spa was above average and the guest rooms were well appointed and maintained.

The W Bogota is a trendy and contemporary hotel located in the fashionable district of Usaquen. The hotel's decor is glitzy and quirky, with a lot of gold incorporated into its design. Guests can choose from different room options with views of the glittering skyline and colorful murals adorning the walls and ceiling. The hotel features an indoor pool, a spa, a gym, and two on-site restaurants and bars offering signature cocktails.
Such a great experience from when we arrived to when we left. The staff were amazing. So attentive from the porters to the receptionists to the restaurant team. Everyone tried really hard to make us feel special. The breakfast especially and food in general is first rate. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Loved my experience here. Bottom line, this hotel was incredible! We got everything we asked for and twice more. We were treated like royalty. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room we were given was aaaamaaazing! We were staying here for our anniversary and they did an awesome surprise for us. Wrote a card, left drinks, and printed a personalised anniversary message along with a photo of us. We absolutely loved our stay here and regret not having stayed longer. Thank you so much for the unforgettable experience! We cannot wait to come back again.

Excellent hotel on all fronts. My room was in excellent condition and very well organized to maximize space. The various restaurants, bars and cafes are providing excellent products and services. It’s an overall very safe place, with lots of security personnel, in addition to welcoming and helpful service staff. I recommend without hesitation for your stay in Bogotá Usaquen neighbourhood.

The staff at the hotel was excellent and everything was fine with my stay except for parking. The hotel forces valet parking and I dropped my car off Friday afternoon and had it returned to me Sunday morning. When it was returned someone had installed an apple airtag inside the seat to track us. Luckily, we found it before someone tracked us and robbed us. This is why I always prefer to park my own car. I asked for a manager to call me and never heard back.

W Bogotá is a stylish hotel with amazing service. Check-in was one of the friendliest, we even played a fun game to earn Marriott Bonvoy points, The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean, modern, and very comfortable, I loved the cool modern decor and it had everything we needed to relax after exploring the city. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh options, and the restaurant and bar had a lively, fun atmosphere.

Giving a low rating because of three concerning things that happened during my stay. 1- I arrived at the hotel after my husband. When I got in (at 10 pm), the hotel gave me the key to another man’s room and sent me there instead of our room. 2- One morning, the hotel hosted a DJed fitness class right below our room around 6:30 am. We were awoken by the sounds of thumping bass and yelling and could not sleep. 3- When I went to the salon, the team was great - but missing basic equipment to do their jobs well. I asked for a volume blow out. The tech could only give me a straight blow out because there were no bobby pins or foam rollers. Got my eyebrows waxed. The waxing pot was pretty old. The tech dipped the same stick back in the pot multiple times, a health code violation in the US because it can cause bacteria to grow in wax and spread between clients. Additionally there did not appear to be any means to sterilize tweezers between customers. Lots of good here - beautiful rooms, great food, great maid service, friendly staff (the woman who helped me in the salon did a great job - in spite of a lack of supplies!). But this hotel charges far too much to struggle with basics.

Canasto Picnic Bistró (Usaquén) is a popular spot that caters to its customers from morning till night, offering a diverse menu that includes brunch options. According to one of the founders, Andres Pieschacon, their French toasts, pancakes, and arepa roastbeef have become customer favorites. The arepa roastbeef is made with corn and topped with two fried eggs and hogao sauce along with 50 grams of roastbeef.
We went for brunch to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was a very nice experience. The food was great, fruits were very fresh and the arepas with eggs and avocado were also really nice. The service was very fast and the restaurant has a very nice terrace. It's also pet friendly - so extra points for that :)

The food was good, but it took a really long time to get the food served. It was busy, and we understood that, but it took an extra long time for it to come out. When we ordered a second round of beverages, it did not come and had to remind them that they we didn't get the 2nd beverages. The staff was apologetic. And very nice. The food was really good. Each bite was full of flavor.

Came here after discovering the place on Instagram and had high hopes, but was disappointed. Food is decent, but the menu pricing is very inconsistent (some items are very over priced). La Cesta Calle 109 is a popular breakfast spot in Bogota that offers a cool and laid-back ambiance. Visitors love the well-prepared and delicious food, as well as the great service. While some find it overpriced, others appreciate the unique atmosphere, decoration, and the option to enjoy their favorite dishes. The place is known for its tasty breakfast options and refreshing drinks, making it a must-visit when in Bogota.
Here is another great breakfast spot in Bogota! I love breakfast and every weekend we try a new spot and this place did not disappoint. The parfait de frutas was not my favorite but a close second, but everything else was delicious and well prepared. The ambiance of the location is cool and laid back and we will be coming here again.

I really liked the location of La Cesta in Calle 109. It has a nice patio in the front and cozy seating inside. It was also laptop-friendly and a nice spot with WiFi and good coffee. The main reason I rated it lower is because the food is pretty pricey. They do have some nice and healthy options, but the portions were a bit small and nothing special. I’ve had a bowl for lunch (see picture) as well as a quiche for dinner another time, and both were a little underwhelming considering the cost. I would return for coffee though and maybe give breakfast a try as well.

I had a fantastic time at the restaurant! The breakfast menu was superb, and we were enticed to try their lunch menu too. The food was excellent, especially the enchiladas, mimosas, and bread baskets – house mimosas are a must-try. While the cakes were decent, breakfast stole the show. Overall, a 4/5 rating and definitely worth a visit!
Benjamin A — Google review
Really pretty but very underwhelming food. The prices are to high for the small portions. The menu is too large and it shows because the food has no flavor. Definitely needs to be thought more, adding sauce to the eggs, serving bread with fried eggs, not serving the end of a load of bread. Lastly the servive is terrible, the waitresses dont pay attention and spent alot of time talking to each other. In all this was a disappointment except for the coffee.

Varietale was by far the best (but also most expensive) coffee we had in Colombia. It would persuade any coffee lover that Colombian coffee is the best. Seratta Gourmand Market 114 is a fashionable eatery in Bogota, Colombia that offers elevated local and global dishes, creative cocktails, and an array of high-quality gourmet products. The market provides a unique shopping experience with its wide variety of fresh and organic foods, local and international wines, cheeses, chocolates, and artisanal products. It is renowned for its elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
We went exploring on a Saturday and came upon this place my wife (a Colombiana) recognized it and described a variety of gourmet restaurants in one complex--spanish, Chinese, Japanese and more. We went up the escalator from 45 and asked the hostess where were and she said here Japanese and in front Mediterranean and Spanish which we felt right for the moment. It was nice decor separated into different levels of table sectSpanish, quiet as only 5 or 6 tables occupied in a large number of cubicle like settings as it was 3pm. We got seated and presented with a bilingual waiter who gave menus and quickly brought us bread and butter while we reviewed the menu. He offered great clarification on several items leading me to the ossobuco and my wife to pork ribs. We had delicious sapphire and tonics and ordered reacon Jamon platter and dumplings as appetizers. The platter of Iberian ham and pork was large, superb seeming like 7 year aged but the waiter informed us just 18 month. The pork dumplings were crispy with an enjoyable dip. I saw the enigmatic machine to allow small ounce samples of the large variety of wines mounted there. I had not seen one since I left Washington DC where one wine bar had one to allow tasting expensive wines at low cost. Sadly he said it was not operating at this time....next visit. Then he introduced a very knowledgeable bilingual Sommillier (I am one too) who (see photo) helped us select from 3 varieties of US and Spanish wines (which I selected) which was very interesting with a cabernet like flavor and great after taste interesting..photo. My ossobuco was cooked perfectly and had an unusual mild sweet sauce. My wife said she enjoyed her cerdo costilla but as usual only ate half then take home. We finished with cappuccinos with bailey's and a fudge chocolate volcano. We must return and explore these places. Oh as we got our desserts the entire place filled up and besides birthday songs, folkloric dancers and singers in the area next to us

Great food, had the Rigatoni and grilled mushroom. Food was delicious but service was very slow. Maybe normal for Bogota, so definitely don’t come expecting a quick lunch/dinner. Took us 2 hours for 2 courses, first hour was just waiting for even bread to come to the table. Definitely worth a visit, but go with time on hand.

Great food and atmosphere. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I dined here solo and it took them an hour alone to ask me for my order. In total I was there almost 3 hours. The server ignored me in totality. I had to get the restaurant management to put my order in and then correct it when it was wrong. The decor was stunning. The food was very good and the hostess was notably pleasant. If not for these things, I could not recommend. The service staff was absolute trash.

We tried the chef experience consisting in 10 courses, we wait about 15 minutes at the table to have someone coming to offer something to drink, the server who took care first of the experience wasn’t familiarize with the experience dishes so his comments describing the food was 2 for 5, food quality was good, drinks was great and also desserts, chef is very creative and on top of the customers. I believe this place needs to improve the servers training because the experience was expensive, we spend about 250 dollars or 1.000.000 Colombian pesos. We been spending way less with way better service and more knowledge about food for way less price! MY FAVORITE DRINK WAS THE NON-alcoholic Yellow Fritz (I don’t know if I spelled correctly)

I have to say, really disappointed with this place! We had been to one of their other restaurants and it was an excellent experience so we wanted to try this one. Service was very slow. It must have taken 20 minutes just for someone to come to our table and ask if we want drinks. We ordered the angus steaks and they had absolutely no flavour. Salad was ok but also lacking flavour. Then after we finished eating it again took them probably 20 minutes to take out plates and ask how everything was. Very disappointing and definitely won’t be going back.

Bogota has excellent restaurants, and this is one of them. The food and service are lovely—all delicious. However, I am a foodie, and I believe the waiter should know where the pork comes from or if the fish is wild cough or hatcheries grown, I get disappointed. If I am going to spend $100, the waiter better answers those questions.

El Gato Gris is a charming restaurant located in the historical center of Bogota's La Candelaria neighborhood. It offers a cozy and romantic atmosphere with rustic historic charm, complemented by live Latin music during dinner service. The restaurant serves a fusion of Italian and Colombian inspired dishes, providing delicious and unique flavors. While exploring this area, visitors should be mindful of their personal belongings due to its rougher nature compared to other districts in the city.
El Gato Gris is a great restaurant for it’s super cool environment, entertainment, great food, and fantastic service. We have been there a few times and the food is always quite delicious. We had soup, beef, lemon chicken and drinks. All very good. The waiters are friendly and very helpful. It has a cozy atmosphere that is warm and welcoming with natural wood throughout the restaurant. It has an old World charm. We will definitely be going back.

El Gato Gris is a charming spot tucked away in the historic neighborhood of La Candelaria. The atmosphere is cozy and bohemian, with beautiful terraces and live music that make it perfect for a relaxed evening. The service is warm and attentive, and the views from the upper levels are a real treat. The meat dishes are definitely the highlight—well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. I’d recommend sticking to those, as the ceviche wasn’t quite up to par. Still, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy good food, drinks, and the unique vibe of Bogotá’s old town. Worth a visit for the ambiance alone.
Miguel O — Google review
The service and ambiance were quite pleasant, but the food fell short of expectations. The menu initially appeared promising, and the appetizers were the only highlights in terms of food quality.

El Gato Gris – Bogotá’s Bohemian Den of Beer, Empanadas, and Neon Romance You land in Bogotá. First night, body clock messed up, altitude kicking in. You walk La Candelaria’s cobbled maze with that post-travel hunger—not for food, but for place. And then you see it. Red neon. Candlelight flickers through stained glass. A bar named after a gray cat—El Gato Gris. Locals talk about this place in hushed tones. Part dive bar, part art-house café, part live music venue. It oozes that worn-in charm of a spot that’s seen lovers argue, poets cry, and gringos drink too much aguardiente. You slide into a table. Menus arrive—Marilyn Monroe holding a cat? Of course. A server in a sharply dressed uniform greets you with ease. You get a Club Colombia Dorada, cold and crisp, and a serving of empanadas—golden, flaky, bite-sized bombs of seasoned meat and masa. Five of them, perfectly lined on a plate like an offering. And that’s all you needed. That plus the music, the laughter echoing off the brick walls, and the slight buzz of altitude-induced euphoria. Prices aren’t dirt-cheap—10,000 COP for beer, 10,500 COP for empanadas—but this isn’t just a snack. This is mood. This is Bogotá at its most seductive. You didn’t stay long, didn’t eat everything. But you got enough to know: this is a place you return to. For a longer night. For someone else’s story. For jazz echoing through a dim room while a stranger sketches you from across the bar. Food 3.8 Empanadas were hot, crispy, satisfying. Would come back for a full meal. Drinks 3.5 Local beer, cold and reliable. Wine and cocktails worth exploring next time. Atmosphere 4.5 This is the star: romantic, moody, bohemian. A true “find.” Service 4.0 Friendly, attentive staff. A touch of elegance in their attire. Value 3.7 Not the cheapest, but the ambience earns its pesos.

Despite the good atmosphere and decent service, the food was so bad. Impossible that the 4.3 rating is real! Worst ceviche in 3 weeks in Latin America. The fish was rubbery and the mussel FROZEN!!!!! The other 3 dishes were as bad, overcooked rice, potatoes and meat. Absolutely overpriced for the quality.
Tiago F — Google review
I have given this place multiple chances, it has been terrible every time. Terrible food, even worse service.
DJ H — Google review
I was looking forward to this place since it has so many ratings. 100% they are giving fake ratings. The place itself had a decent ambience but my experience was horrible. I asked for a shot of tequila and they brought me a tequila sunrise which I did not want and also did not drink. But I was charged for it , I also ordered a salmon tartare which was good. For my entree I ordered the chicken meatballs over rice with curry sauce , with a salad. The presentation was nice but the curry sauce had no flavor and kinda funky. For being at the price range they are I held greater expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this place especially with the inflated fake reviews. 0/10 for me.
Christopher G — Google review
The atmosphere and location is great, our server did the best he could! The kitchen seemed to be backed up and orders were taking a long time! The reason for the lower rating is due to what happened with my plate!! I was waiting for a side order and the server had offered to heat up my plate while the side order of patacones came! Well when I got my plate back, half the food was gone!

The Capitalino Restaurant is a Colombian-themed eatery with delicious food and stellar service. The menu features international dishes as well as Colombian favorites, and there's also an outdoor terrace for dining in the sunshine. It's one of the highest-rated restaurants on TripAdvisor, and guests rave about the quality of the food and service here.
Ribeye and prawn tacos were incredible!

We reserved the “Cena Romántica” for our anniversary. It was a great deal for a three-course meal with a glass of wine per person. We also ordered seasonal cocktails. Every dish was delicious. The Sopa de Langostino was flavorful and had a nice kick of spiciness, which I really enjoyed. The pulpo was perfectly cooked and had a hint of charcoal flavor. The fish dish was complemented beautifully by the salad. And… the BEST lamb I've ever had!!—I’m not even a big fan of lamb because of its smell. All the desserts — even the bread with olive oil — were amazing. Service and vibe were fantastic as well.

Dined here after visiting the spa. The service was extremely slow and quite rude when they understood we were there for a meal included in the spa package. Overall food was delicious but the service really took away from the experience.

I love this hotel. I love this place but I don’t understand how a 5-star hotel restaurant allows waiters to leave the dirty dishes on a table for more than 10 minutes. I’ve been here almost an hour and no one has made the effort to clean the table or bring fresh coffee. Unacceptable for a Grand Hyatt
Mon M — Google review
Had very nice lunch here while staying in the hotel.
Summer L — Google review
The reviews are so high, and I love Hyatt, so I was excited to try this place. I was heavily disappointed in the following: 1) drinks were inconsistent. The first Manhattan had no cherry. Second one did 2) I had the creamy rice with seafood. This included 10 or so pieces of shrimp, 2 calamari rings, and one mussel. The seafood imbalance was so odd. 3) There was no silverware on the table when I sat down. They happily brought it to me when requested and spilt a portion of my Manhattan. The server was apologetic, but no remedy or price adjustment was made for a 10 USD drink....which is a very expensive drink for Bogota. 4) I don't understand why, but there were mini/salad shrimp and jumbo shrimp mixed into the meal. Why two different types of shrimp? I could not recommend this restaurant at this time. I won't specify the date or time, because I'm not trying to get the server in trouble. It was recent enough that this is relevant in time.

I’d like to share absolutely bad experience. On Dec’17, I made a reservation on this restaurant to attend it on Jan’01. On Dec’31 (the day before my actual reservation) I’ve got an email that Capitalino is sorry that I didn’t attend the reservation (just think about it, the day before the reservation they sent me an email that I wouldn’t have attended a future date). I reached out live chat support, which was absolutely useless. The lady from live chat said, she doesn’t know how to check it, they don’t have a complaint system and she gave me a non-English speaking phone number, which put me on hold forever (she even closed the chat without any apologies). I reached out WhatsApp chat, they told me the restaurant is full and they cancelled my reservation. Imagine it happened just a day before, without any prior communication to me, it’s not possible to find alternative place as everything is booked just a day before Jan’01. There’s a poor support level, they even didn’t offer any alternative solution (e.g. to spend the time in their bar, whatsoever). If I didn’t reach them out, and just thought it was a system glitch, it would be my wasted time in a New Year as the restaurant is full. If you don’t want to have a disappointment during New Year don’t go to this restaurant

Farmers' market
Paloquemao Fruit Market is a bustling local farmer's market featuring an indoor hall where visitors can find a wide variety of fresh produce, including fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and flowers. The market offers an abundance of Colombian specialties such as the lulo, granadilla, and guanabana. Visitors can also indulge in local delicacies like tamal made from corn flour and stuffed with chicken, pork belly, rice and egg.
Honestly, I travelled all the way from Toronto Canada just to visit this fruit market for the first time! My entire trip was based on coming here everyday and eating beautiful natural fruits and natural foods from mother earth. This is the best fruit market I have ever visited !!! If you ever have the chance to visit Bogotá this market is a must visit. I would recommend to visit on the weekdays though as it is much less crowded than the weekends. But the prices are amazing and you will see so many vibrant and tasty foods you probably have never seen before. Enjoy!!!
Tyrell B — Google review
You have to come here if you enjoy fresh food markets. So many different varieties of fruit!! So fun and amazing to try. It's pricier than buying at Exito but you can purchase one of each to try. They'll overcharge you as a tourist but it's part of the experience. I highly recommend feijoa and achacha as they are delicious! Ask them to pick one that's ready to eat. The sugar apple was okay but compared to what you get in Taiwan it's not nearly as tasty. Some fruits I wish I had also gotten but didn't! - Rambutan - Sugar mangoes (small lil mangos that goes for 6.99/lb in Toronto) This market is huge btw. You could easily spend a day here.
Isabella — Google review
We enjoyed 16 types of different fruits in this market! We did not come with a tour because the timing did not fit so we just stopped at this uncle’s fruit stall. We had the most enjoyable time ever! *we told him that we have X amount of money left because we will be leaving for the airport, just give us what he deemed was appropriate:)

Must visit this place as it is not far from city center. If you're visiting Bogotá, this is a must-see destination. It's the largest market in the city, offering an impressive variety of fresh, local fruits and vegetables, along with some imported products from other countries. I highly recommend it to anyone exploring the area. Stroll through the vibrant stalls and sample a range of unique Colombian fruits. You'll also find plenty of restaurants serving delicious local dishes.
Eldar — Google review
A great place to visit and experience something unique to Bogotá. If you’re wanting to just look around, buy some fruit or buy a meal there’s lots to see in this market. You could easily spend 30-60 minutes walking around and buying exotic fruits to try or visit a cafe for something to eat. It is one of the more expensive markets in Bogotá but still a fun experience.
Henry S — Google review
Brilliant market in Bogota, large in size and has ample fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, coffee and herbal products. There are plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here and the locals were really welcoming. Cannot be missed if in Bogota.
Kara H — Google review
You can find fruit in fruterias that is not much more expensive. And the vendors here constantly try to rip you off. They quote prices in price per kg and then measure in pounds and use the price per kg. Many vendors excessively overcharge you if you are a foreigner, sometimes even more than supermarket prices. Go here to watch the market. But not to buy.
Rob W — Google review
I went here as a tourist doing a fruit tour. It was really cool to see the different markets: fruit, flowers, meat, etc. Inside the market felt totally safe, but the outside crowd felt a little less welcoming to tourists. I wondered why the tour guide wanted to meet somewhere else just to ride to the market together and she said it was for safety reasons. Our guide also waited for all of our rides to arrive before she left, which was nice but kind of made me feel like she knew something that I didn't. Made it home safe though and saw a cool market with local and exotic items so it was worth seeing on my trip to Bogota.

Masa tends to be a great place to have a casual lunch or breakfast, we went for the salads that you can choose how to build, overall an amazing option, great in size and taste! We also ordered the steak sandwich and it was great!!!! Service was slow and very disperse, but the orders came out fairly alright. Price wise it was surprisingly higher than what I expected given their concept but overall you could say they use quality ingredients. Recommended to go for their pastries or the salads that are a great healthy choice!

I’ve been to MASA 105 before - loved the concept. The atmosphere, food, and the crowd complement each other and together curate a modern, enjoyable dining experience. MASA 70 satisfied in terms of atmosphere and food, but the service was lacking far too much. We waited more than enough time and it seemed that the waiter forgot to put in our order for more coffee and dessert. The restaurant seemed understaffed and our waiter was as running around clearly very busy so we didn’t want to intrude, but once we noticed another couple next to us become frustrated and get up to ask for the check, we decided it was time to do the same. I found it peculiar that once we were at the counter paying, the two desserts and coffee we ordered half an hour ago were now being served. We finished our transaction, took dessert to go, and ate during our walk home. It was delicious, though it would’ve been nicer to have enjoyed it at the restaurant with some more coffee. I would give this location another chance, but next time I’m coming when I have a few more hours to spare.

This place did not disappoint! I got a pistachio croissant that was delicious (even though strangely covered in sliced almonds) and the shashuka, which was a little different than what I'm used to, but was still good. The fruit aromatica was fantastic! The service was friendly and the atmosphere perfect for a Sunday morning.

I was not convinced with their interpretation of a French Toast as it was very soggy almost like a bread pudding. Still the flavor was great and the bananas gave it a nice touch. My friends enjoyed their dishes also. The english sandwich was good but simple. Their pistachios croissant were asking for more nuttines.

Crepes & Waffles is a popular restaurant chain in Colombia with nearly 100 outlets, half of which are located in Bogota. The restaurant is known for its wide variety of delicious crepes, including options with vegetable, meat, and seafood fillings. One recommended dish is the shrimp in curry sauce crepe, served with a basket of bread. While the name suggests a focus on sweet treats, they also offer savory crepes.
This chain restaurant is always busy but it’s understandable. Their food is delicious! The only reason I’m giving it a 4 for service is at times we ran into having to wait long periods to ask for our server after being seated. It just depends on who you get. I would say 95% of the time the service is excellent with the amount of people flowing through this location. The crepes I’ve had are the curry chicken(my favorite!) crepes, the Mexicano, pollo rosarito and one with spinach and cheese. I had waffles and Ice cream as well. The in house made ice cream is ferrero rocher, whipped cream, peaches and two sauces. My favorite drink was the frozen lime with mint. It was so refreshing. I loved everything I tasted here. Worth trying at least once.

Crepes and waffles is a long tradition restaurant with many good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went for a family celebration and even though the food was good we felt the service was terrible. I mean waitresses were kind, but they are always busy so it takes a long time for them to help you with anything. I will return but maybe not on sundays, the place is so busy it can take a long time for you to be seated. Come early (8am) so the place is not that crowded.
Gregorio B — Google review
Food was awesome! Services can be better, maybe we went at peak hour and they had to serve so many people.

After a long line and after ordering, my table was given to another group while I went to the bathroom. Then, I was sitting, and nobody cared to accommodate me at another table. The food was cold and did not taste good. The main dish was served before the entry. They even dare to ask for tips for such a low and bad service. This restaurant appears like a fast food restaurant but with slow service. Food is not expensive, but the service sucks. and the food was at best mediocre. By the way, I did not receive the entry and I left.
Fredy A — Google review
The service at this restaurant is poor. I had to wait half an hour before a waiter even acknowledged me. The food is average at best—not excellent. The place is noisy and lacks organization. The hostess seemed unsure of what to do. You’re better off choosing a different restaurant. This one isn’t worth it.
Jaime C — Google review
Love this place the whole restaurant has that welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay and try many of their dishes, like artisan ice cream, many choices in crepes, fresh juices, salad bar and much more, and look at the ingenious idea to have dolls in the tables to keep social distancing, makes you feel that the restaurant is packed but in reality is the dolls super cute idea!!

This beloved eatery is renowned for its comfort-food burgers, featuring an impressive selection of over ten mouth-watering options. From the zesty Chipotle Burger to the indulgent Steak House Burger, each creation is crafted from aged ground rib-eye beef and served on freshly baked buns that are made daily.
Ordered takeout through Rappi and it was so good, we had it again the next day. The fries are incredible. The Agadón burger was delicious and came with a variety of dipping sauce options. The service when we went in person the next day was wonderful- very kind in the face of my limited Spanish and friendly to my baby. Will be back!

Food was avg. - fries were great! But the chicken sandwich was thin and not much more than a slightly better version of McDonalds. We also ordered the babyback ribs in the full rack size. Being from the US, we know a full rack is 10-12 ribs. We got only 5 - if that’s a full rack, what is half - 2 ribs???? Ridiculously dishonest. The We asked the server and he told us it was a full rack and started talking about the grams which is irrelevant. Full/half rack is based on the number of ribs, not weight!!!! Although they were very good, we spoke to the waiter who lied to us and told us - again from the US - they were a full rack. Super untrue. We live next door and won’t ever go again. Super sad since the food was good but we can’t deal with server dishonesty or a restaurant allowing that! We are owed a totally free meal! Very dishonest - the food was good but the lie about the portion was terrible!!!!! Reversing the charge on my card for the dishonesty. Don’t go here unless you get an honest server.

Burgers are really good, for sure they deserve all the good comments about the food. Service was fine, not amazingly good but no complaints about it either, and given how close to closing time we went there, the waiter was surprisingly cool. Price is a little over the fair line, dropping about 10% could be quite good for the sake of fairness. I tried The Ranch Burger in 250gr (a little over half pound), that burger comes with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, grilled bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, and barbecue sauce, added to the usual lettuce, tomato, and pickles served by the side for the customer to put in if desired; other than a little short on the cheese, which is probably done intentionally to highlight the meat flavor, everything is positive here. And the side of broken potatoes (potatoes cut in chunks almost like five but a little less strict in shape, roasted and subtly covered in paprika) makes a great match with the barbecue sauce.

Cozy little place, we enjoyed the tea service (if you're hungry it will not be enough) is a sampler of 6 pastries with 6 mini sandwiches, plus a hot drink. The staff was friendly and our order did not take too long to get to our table.

It stands out for its vintage ambiance, attentive service, and quiet spaces where you can enjoy Argentinean pastries and snacks. The cozy corner offers a relaxed atmosphere with free WiFi, making it an ideal spot to savor homemade French pastries and lattes.
This little pastry shop is so charming. The empanados were so delicious and full of flavors. I had a croissant sandwich with eggs, avocado, and prosciutto. Everything was just so delicious. It smelled like a little piece of heaven. The atmosphere was very lovely. The art was beautiful.

The only place I came twice in 5 days in Bogota, and have come on every trip to Bogota so far. Incredibly charming atmosphere and the food and drinks are thoughtful, good, and affordable. I wish I lived beside it. (I particularly liked the brioche with rhubarb jam this time around).

Talk about a unique place!! I only knew about this place due to it being a friends favorite hideaway! When you approach the unassuming bulding, you don't even know what kind of joy they have on the inside! The place is set up with a relaxed feel with plenty of natural lighting and the entire room was spotless. Bright colors and smiling faces filled the establishment and the smell of small batch coffee, pastries and empanadas wafted throughout. They have a diverse menu so you can stop in for just coffee or you could even stay for a full meal. They also have a very cool outdoor seating area (my favorite) that makes you feel like you are relaxing in the rainforest. I highly recommend this place and will make it a part of my routine for me as well as my friends! Se you soon!

At first we thought we made the wrong choice. Walking up to the bakery it seems weird. Until you get to the door and are greeted by doorman. He invites you in to another world. Once inside the place is magical. Lovely patio and indoor seating. The food is above heavenly. Highly, Highly recommend.
RDA — Google review
Good pastries in general, the plain croissant really nailed the proper texture, buttery taste, and balance between crunchy and soft as well. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the pain au chocolat, I had the highest expectations (for the price I am paying here) only to get the filling with huge chunks of very hard chocolate, not the proper chocolate sticks, needless to say the dough for this one was stale and soggy. I would not mind this in another place but if this bakery takes pride in their pastry and charges high prices, I expect high quality as well. Other samples we tried were decent. Overall, I would try more things to give it another chance, but found this to be overrated.

Excellent place for brunch. Nice European cafe vibe with a lovely courtyard. Decent service. Food was excellent - highly recommend the French toast, mango with coconut cream and the pancakes. Would highly recommend and would like to return.

Who knew a French pastry shop in Bogotá would make some of the best empanadas we’ve ever had? Les Amis offers a wide range of flavors, and of course, we tried every single one. The secret: French butter. It gives the empanadas a delicate, buttery richness that sets them apart from the local style, which tends to lean more savory. The shop itself is tucked inside a house, don’t hesitate, just walk straight in. Love their cute outdoor garden setting!

Nestled in the vibrant Virrey neighborhood of Bogota, Cuatro Cocina Casual is a culinary gem that offers an enticing buffet-style breakfast every day. This restaurant is perfect for those looking to kickstart their mornings with a delightful array of options. Guests rave about the delicious omelettes, particularly the cheese and mushroom variety, as well as unique dishes like fried rice that may include plantains—a surprising twist! The flavorful meat soup and light rice cake with spread and tomato are also highlights worth trying.
Best Sunday brunch in the area! The food was great, bottomless mimosas!!!!! Paola and Andrea were great servers and made our morning totally worth it. We had live music by a local duo called Gato Negro, beautiful voice Selene!!!!!!! Also, it was our friend’s birthday and they sang happy birthday to her and gave us some cake. 5/5

Buffet style breakfast. My omelette cheese mushroom omelette was good. I really liked their fried rice! Not sure if it was plantain in there, but I never had that in fried rice before and I went back for seconds. They also had this meat soup which was tasty. On the lighter side and not so much sodium to taste. The rice cake with some sort of spread and tomato hit the spot too. That's something I normally wouldn't go for, so I'm glad I tried it. The two women who served us were delights! One was the waitress with glasses and she answered all our tourist questions with such warmth accompanied with big friendly smile. You could tell she genuinely cared and was happy to help. The other lady was the bartender and she was so sweet making our drinks. We ordered carajillos and she was very nervous as it was her first time making it. She didn't like the taste of it, BUT WE DID!! We ordered 2 rounds, because they were so refreshing and almost like a dessert for me. The facility was clean and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Nice slow way to start our morning. They also had outlets to charge electronics right under the booth seat. It was nice to top off our phones while we ate before we set off sight seeing.

My friend and I traveled for a girls trip to bogota for a few days, and saw all the wonderful reviews and had to try it for ourselves. We were absolutely thrilled and amazed with the whole experience. The atmosphere, the service, the attention, the food and its presentation were just a work of art. And a shoutout to our server Daniel, who made the whole experience even better. We will definitely eat here again when we visit Bogota in the future.

This place has such a great night-time vibe awesome music, stylish atmosphere, and the kind of energy that makes you want to stay a while. The food was incredibly delicious! We tried a variety of dishes and every single one was amazing. The service was top notch everyone was super kind and attentive. The place itself is really nice, and even the bathroom mirrors were cool enough to mention! I totally recommend this spot to anyone visiting. And for sure, next time I’m in Colombia, I’ll be coming back here to eat again!

Super good food and really nice staff and service. Things are more expensive. The chicken dish I had was really worth it and it was so good! Cocktails were really beautiful and yummy! There was a live performance event with sparklers!
Victoria B — Google review
The food is really good and nicely presented. The service compared to other restaurants in the same price class isn't really good though. We waited when we arrived at the table. Waited 45min for starters and another 30-40min for main dishes. And again to get the bill... Also they often left the table with empty plates still on it etc. In this price range and the competition around the service should improve. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and even though you sit close to each other you still have your privacy.

I had very high expectations of this place because it looks very appealing when you walk by. They make a great job at drinks and food presentation but the flavors are lacking and missing more spices.. Can’t complain about the service, it was fast and very friendly. The atmosphere is sort of upscale with a nature touch. I would give it another try in the future expecting more flavorful food.

Nestled in the heart of South America, Árbol del Pan is a charming bakery that has quickly become a beloved brunch destination. The moment you step inside, the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries envelops you, making it hard to resist indulging in their offerings. With an inviting atmosphere designed by architect Olga Visbal in 2013, this cozy spot features a stunning skylit atrium where patrons can enjoy artisanal delights while soaking up the vibrant neighborhood vibe.
This is now my favorite café in the area. It's a very cozy place and they have all kinds of goodies. Their pastries are absolutely delightful, fresh and tasty. They don't take bookings so u better come with enough time to get a seat or cross ur fingers you'll find an empty spot.

Went for a brunch / lunch after a rainy walk. The tomato soup and grilled cheese sourdough was so good - some of the best bread I’ve ever had. My partner got an egg croissant sandwich that was also delicious. Great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Stephanie C — Google review
During my stay in Zona G, this place became my breakfast temple—and for good reason. The croissant with poached egg and avocado could easily convert even the most devoted fan of intermittent fasting. The egg casserole and the cured ham toast are further proof that happiness can, in fact, fit on a plate. Just make sure to go early, because by the afternoon the menu looks more like a “sold out” board than an actual list of options. The café is small and fills up quickly, but it has that cozy neighborhood charm that makes you feel like a regular right away. Sometimes all you need to start the day right is a bit of bread, good coffee, and a hopeful Wi-Fi signal—and yes, they’re tech-savvy enough to take contactless payments.

Great café! The avocado toast and matcha latte were very tasty. It was pretty busy though, probably because not many cafés are open on Sundays.

I honestly love this place so much. I went 3 times during my week in Bogota. I ordered breakfast once and various croissants. Pan de chocolate is great, the plain croissant is the best I've ever had anywhere, and the queso one is great for a more savory palate. I also got two loaves of sourdough which were also fantastic. Highly recommend.
Travis S — Google review
What can I say other than the best artisanal bakery in Colombia, by far! The quality of the food, the service, the coffee, their pastries. The croissants are simple one of the best, no one gets even close to their level. If you are in Bogota, this place needs to be on top of your list. The best puff pastry, croissants, pan au chocolate, etc. and their brownie cookies are to die for. I go very often, almost daily when I can.
Jorge D — Google review
We had a brunch where both dishes lived up to a pretty good standard, classic flavours so it was simplicity at its best. The croissant was really flaky and the mini pain au chocolate and pain d’amandes were tasty. Coffee was good too, and the service was great- very friendly and also spoke English. It’s a cute place with a lot of light. Lastly, to our surprise, the prices are really good, so it’s absolutely worth a breakfast/lbrunch if you are in the neighborhood.

The service was really bad, everything took ages to get to the table, there was not enough personal to cover the event, at the end they decided that since the event was bout to finish they were giving the pending cocktails (that were prepaid for the event) to go in plastic glasses. The experience overall was quite disappointing.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Bogota! There's quite a lot of space so you can sit outside at the front, inside or enjoy their inner garden with fireplaces. Of course, the most important thing is their coffee is very food! And very friendly service. During my three days in Bogota I came here every day 😅 Cappuccino and flat white both amazing!!! World class coffee experience. Ditch Juan Valdez and opt for something like this! We got a full run down of the different coffee flavor profiles and preparation methods. Highly recommend this spot for coffee enthusiasts in Bogota!
Varun H — Google review
Café Cultor is a beautiful spot, partly tucked inside the Wilborada 1047 bookshop, which gives it a really unique charm. The garden is lovely too, a great place to sit and enjoy a quiet moment. We tried the Café Cultor house blend, a pink bourbon, and some tea. Honestly, it was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. We paired it with a cheese croissant and a lemon and blueberry cake. The food was okay, the cake was a bit dry so I’d say the real star here is definitely the coffee. The downside? The service. The staff weren’t particularly friendly, and if you’re buying coffee beans to take home, they don’t really explain what you’re getting or take the time to make a proper recommendation. It’s not a place I’d go back to, mainly because of the attitude of the staff but for the coffee itself, it’s absolutely worth a visit.
Angela M — Google review
This place gets five stars without even trying! Terrific indoor/outdoor ambience-warm and inviting, and the staff are terrific. Knowledgeable and friendly. I tried the hula/ gesha mandarin for starters. I’ve been sitting here over an hour later and I’m still enjoying my first cup! There's a textile gallery next door, accessible from the garden, as well. Looks inviting. I’ll be back again!

This is a great little place for coffee. You consider work and they have a beautiful patio that is part outdoors and part covered. The front. Patio is accessible, but there are stairs to get into the place itself. The sidewalk outside is probably not very easy to navigate if you are in a mobility device. But part of the front patio is also covered! Yummy coffee! And delicious treats!
Victoria B — Google review
Such a beautiful and relaxing spot. I got a cheese tart (local cheese) of some sort with guava on top and it was amazing. The coffee was pretty tasty as well. They have tons of coffee options so worth asking questions about their options. I do wish they had a coffee flight but maybe one day they will.

While there are no sugar-free options available, the delightful combinations such as Choco mint with Limonada de Coco (Coconut Lemonade) and Red velvet with Cookie Dough Arequipe come highly recommended by visitors.
Best pistachio ice cream I've had in my life. It's a little pricey because they charge a little extra for the flavour but it's well worth it. Highly recommended

A small ice cream shop, but with great options. The salted caramel, crème brûlée, and caramel cookie dough, really good. The staff could be a bit more proactive and efficient. When we asked if we could get a cone without ice cream, they had to check with each other, which caused a bit of confusion. Overall, the ice cream alone makes this place worth coming back!

Service is good, premise is relatively quiet (which I appreciate), and cinamon bum was fine. But the star of the show, the capuccino, wasn't good at all as milk wasn't froathed, turning it to coffee with warm milk. At least staff appreciated the situation and gave me a new one to go that was much better then the first.

Jaime M — Google review
Great coffee place but the coffee is expensive. I love coffee and walked by cafe 18 and decided to give it a try. The coffee was very smooth and good. Mind you this is their base coffee they brewed mine with. The prices for the coffee you drink aren’t bad about average for the higher end coffee places. Had an almond croissant and actually was oneof the better ones I have had in bogota. So their coffee you can buy. Obviously this coffee place is more for the tourist and the coffee prices reflect that. Not saying it’s bad coffee but some of the most expensive I have seen in bogota. I did buy a few bags to brew on my own to see the taste. Is the price of this coffee worth it? I don’t know honestly until I try it and compare it to other brands of high quality but lower price. For now I would say it’s good, but pricey. Once I try the types I bought I will be able to tell you if the high prices are justified. For now I will say it is good to stop in and worth trying.
Mark D — Google review
World-class coffee, and so many to choose from. But this is their biggest strength: very few specialty coffee stores have such a wide selection, AND you can try all of them. I can't overstate this - coffee variation is enormous, and tasting the stuff you'll be hauling back home on a long flight is fundamental. The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and super nice. Would have enjoyed a coffee "tasting menu" of sorts, but I understand it's hard to do it properly. I will return, have your stock ready 😅

We visited this Cafe during our "Bogota" bike tour". Its a nice little cafe with coffee bean factory in the back. We had a cappuccino and a tea which tasted great. When we wanted to order empanadas they were out which was a little disappointing. After we finished drinking we went in the back for a little tour of how the beans were burned. This was included in the "Bogota bike tour".

I gave them a perfect review last year when I stayed here, but this time around the staff member in particular, Camilo, made us felt so unwelcomed. Last year we got a regular room, and that was great. This year we decided to book a suite. Even though the room was bigger the layout of the bathroom was bad, and the room looked like someone had a big party before us. The lamp shade was on the floor, glitters in the carpet, and one of the towel hooks looked like it was about to fall off, see pictures. We called that night asking if we could change room. We were told room 815 would be available the next day. After breakfast the next day we called and a staff member showed us a regular room if we choose to downgrade or wait until 4PM when guests at 815 would check out. We decided to wait, and agreed to come back to the hotel between 5-6PM. We got back early, and packed all of stuff in our suitcases ready to move. At about 5.30PM we came down to the front desk and asked to see the room. Two staff members said guests decided to stay another night so the room was not available (see picture of two staff members, one of them Camilo). We were visibly upset since we were promised the room and we already wasted time packing. We went back to the room, and unpacked everything. At about 8.25PM, we got a call from Camilo saying a different room, room 715, was now available because guests just checked out. We were kind of suspicious, but I decided to look at the room anyways since they made the effort to offer us another room. After consulting with each other we decided not to change room. We already unpacked everything and didn't want to packed and unpacked again. We had plans to go out that night and was pressed for time. This is the part where we felt the most unwelcomed. Camilo actually warned other staff members about us, that we were trouble makers. When we asked the front desk to reprogram our keys, a different staff (door person?) looked at Camilo and smirked at him and us. Camilo also somehow blocked all calls from our room, room 1215, to guest services and front desk numbers. When we called guest services and front desks numerous times to ask for more toilet paper and drinking glasses, it went to a recording right away. It was 10PM and it wasn't busy. However, when we called from our international cell phone to the hotel they picked up right away, and we were able to make our requests. We called again in the morning, after breakfast many times. We saw that the front desk was not busy at all. And again, each time no one answered, including guest services number. We called with our cell phone and they answered right away. After we hung up the cell phone, we called again with the room phone to test it out, and of course no one answered. We are really disappointed at the staff at this hotel who went out of his way to make us feel unwelcomed. On a positive note, the lady who worked at the executive lounge at night was really nice and accommodating. We love her. --------------------------------- 2024 Review below: Perfect location in the financial district of Bogota. Rooms were nice and clean. The best part was the gym. Had all the necessary machines that are needed for a good workout. Would definitely stay here again when in Bogota.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful Bed bugs problem. After the first night I noticed 10-15 bites on my lower back and asked the staff to be moved to another room which they promptly did and even helped me carry my things. At that point I still didn't know that these were bed bugs as the bites get more painful a day or 2 later. After my return from Bogota I wrote to the hotel notifying them of their bed bugs problem but only response I received was: very sorry about your experience, we hope you will return. Sorry but this is not acceptable. It's been 6 days now and my lower back is still swollen and quite painful.

Nestled in the vibrant La Candelaria district of Bogota, Pan Pa' Ya! is a must-visit for anyone seeking a quick yet delightful breakfast experience. This fast-food haven specializes in delicious offerings like their famous papas rellenas—crispy, deep-fried stuffed potato balls that are simply irresistible when served fresh. It's not just about the food; this spot also features an indoor play area perfect for little ones to burn off energy while parents can relax and enjoy their meal.
There is nothing more Colombian than caleado and mandarin juice. I love it, I missed this food!!!, highly recommended.

I love the PanPaYa franchise and though I usually visit the location at the 116 st and 11, I wanted to try a different location this time. This location lives up to what I expect to be a PanPaYa. The breakfast was very good and consistent. I love the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, cheese, bread and cocoa. The location is spacious, casual and well maintained. It is a great place to have a nice breakfast and start your day in busy Bogota. Highly recommended. Feel free to try other breakfast options, they seem equally delicious to me.

This is a great place to take my toddler son to play on the indoor play structure. It's not the cleanest ball pit (which ones are), but it's guaranteed fun and movement which has me leaving with a worn out toddler ready to sleep well. It was a lifesaver when I had graduate work to complete. Free WiFi allowed me to work on my computer while my son played. Food ranges from quick bread-y bites to full meal plates. I've met a lot of nice parents here too while sitting and waiting.

For kids to play indoor without having to pay for the place or tokens. Not fancy or well presented, but good to expend an afternoon. Also, very traditional.

The NH Collection Royal Terra 100 hotel in Bogota is a contemporary property with a warm restaurant and cocktail bar as well as a gym and terrace. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, with TV, minibar and CD player.
Our stay at NH Collection Tierra 100 was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the service was truly outstanding. The attention to small details made our experience even more special, and we could see the dedication of the entire team in ensuring every guest feels at home. A special congratulations to General Manager Juan Pablo and his team for their exceptional hospitality. The hotel is perfect for families, even with small children—our daughter had an amazing time and was well taken care of. Additionally, it was an ideal choice for my husband, who organized a small meeting in one of the beautiful meeting rooms. The space was elegant, featuring a wonderful terrace and a stunning green wall, creating the perfect atmosphere for a productive session. In summary, we loved everything about our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Good and convenient hotel option. Cozy and well decor rooms , with probably the best shower I’d in NH hotels . Big variety of fruits and egg options for breakfasts and some gluten free options for dinner

The room was spacious, but these glass walls of wc, shower are missunderstanding. And it is not convient such sulution. There was no hair dryer in the room, had to call to a register desk.

We spent few days at the NH Terra 100 and had a great experience. Service is spot on and the location is great. I really loved the rooms. Only downside the internet speed wasn't as high as other places I've been to.

The staff and hotel were such an amazing place. my husband and I arrived really late at night and we were starving but many places were closed. They helped us order the food from a local place nearby that they recommend, and it was such amazing food. The staff were on top of any services that were asked from laundry service, getting us taxis, and room service. They really cleaned out the room when asked. The breakfast buffet was a must, I loved the coffee, natural juices, toast, yogurt, and eggs, and that made me and my husband enjoy our morning and honeymoon. The beds are firm, and the pillows are soft. The comforters are nice and thick. The showers had amazing hot water. The app DIDI was a big comfort to order in.
Marlene R — Google review
Very nice hotel with great staff and service. They are constructing a new metro in front of the hotel which was a bit inconvenient, but not the hotel’s fault. Great room, nice bar/restaurant, and excellent customer service from the staff.
Pat B — Google review
Excellent hotel with top-quality rooms and outstanding service. The receptionists were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our visit. Our premium double bedroom on the top floor with a mountain view was fantastic. The breakfast was really delicious, featuring a wide selection of fresh food and fruit. The restaurant is also high quality, although a bit pricey. The only minor downside is that the hotel is located in a business district, so you’ll need to drive to reach most attractions or activities. However, the area is very safe, and this was not an issue for us. Highly recommend!
Alek Z — Google review
Unfortunately, staying here was not by first choice. Hotels com overbooked another hotel across the street Cosmos 100 which the staff there was very apologetic there. Going to NH the man at the reception desk said they didn’t have our reservation that was already paid for then he mysteriously found it but our room was already given so we were forced to take downgrade as it was very late. Most of the staff was not very friendly except the lady working overnight as the lady in the evening was very rude when I was speaking to another gentleman. The room was half the size of the room booked, stains on the carpet and walls. Cracked glass on the nightstand. Thermostat didn’t work as it was always very cold and the rude reception lady in the evening said they control it not the guest.

Nestled in the heart of La Candelaria, Laga is a hidden gem that promises to enchant visitors as they descend into its unique ambiance. The restaurant's decor, reminiscent of vintage aircraft, creates an intriguing atmosphere that feels almost out of place yet perfectly at home in Bogotá. With its moody lighting, it's an ideal retreat for a cozy meal on a rainy day. During my visit for breakfast, I found myself wanting to linger longer and return soon after.
I went there for breakfast and I had the felling I wanted to stay longer or come back again. The place is a tavern and they offer some Colombian typical breakfast. There was was good music playing, some solo people having something to eat, group of friends and couple. They also have beers and burguers for the rest of the day, I sure recommend it!
Evelyn L — Google review
The food is simple and the customer is not asked what they want in the meat, it is served cold and there is no interest in the service, As for the atmosphere, the same song was repeated the whole time I was there, additionally, the food takes a while to be served.

The worst place I've been to in Colombia. We only tried the craft beer, it was so disgusting that we were contemplating whether it was just lousy or actually expired. We didn't finish our drinks (which I've never done before anywhere in my life) and left.

The service at this establishment was terrible. We ordered Churrasco and they didn’t have it. Then we ordered chicken and they didn’t have that either. We finally settled on a Bandeja Paisa. The server came out and told us they didn’t have any avocados for the plate. We started to leave but then the manager came out and assured us they had avocados. He yelled at the server in front of us and sent her to buy avocados. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for our drinks. When the meals came out the portions were very small but the price was super expensive. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this place.

Delicious! We visited on a Sunday evening and although they only had shawarma and couscous remaining it was great. The shawarma is not the typical food in a wrap but rather served on a plate with only the meat inside the bread. We never tried it before but would definitely recommend it!!

It's the best Arabic restaurant you can find in Bogotá. The food is authentic and delicious. Recently recognized with the SCA 2022 Coffee Design Award for its inviting space, this café offers a serene escape that feels reminiscent of Bali or Tulum but infused with Colombian charm.
The best coffee in bogota! No need to elaborate, everything was amazing on the 3 times I’ve been there - The coffee, the food , the staff and especially and chilled vibe and atmosphere.
עומרי ז — Google review
Tropicalia is a cool coffee shop — also great for brunch and breakfast. I started with an espresso made from a Geisha bean, which felt almost like too sad to use for espresso. Espresso was not perfect for such a beautiful Marzocco!! Then I had a Bourbon filter coffee, which was actually quite nice. Alongside that, I had an avocado toast with a poached egg and some feta cheese. Very nice overall. Cool design!!

Loved the place. Quite and good place for conversations. Service was amazing and they even catered to me wanting to add more milk to my flat white.
Sabata P — Google review
Fun, trendy brunch spot with delicious Instagram-friendly food and specialty coffee. They had a few vegan options and I opted to try the hummus and avocado-banana smoothie bowl. Both were tasty and beautifully plated. I also tried the blue chai, but this while pretty was unpleasant to drink (almost flavorless with anise undertones). Service was REALLY slow but friendly. Portions were small so you can definitely try a few things or share.

It's a beautiful place , perfect to telework and grab a good coffee. It's very spacious and cool to hangout with friends or for a casual date.
Petu — Google review
We went back two days in a row for breakfast and bought bags of beans on the spot. Two things I wouldn't normally do! This cafe is great. It's well-designed, the coffee is excellent and packs flavour, and the beans themselves are unique (you'll have to read up on the options when you visit). The service is pleasant and consistent with Colombia - As in, you might need to wave someone down if you want anything more, but they are attentive to your requests. The prices are also quite fair for Bogotá's Zona T. A problem I'm going to have is when I run out of beans... I guess I'll be returning to Colombia.

Residence Inn by Marriott Bogota offers a sophisticated stay with spacious suites, a contemporary restaurant, and a lobby bar. Guests can enjoy complimentary parking, mimosas, gin tonics, unlimited food stations, and live music starting at 12:30 p.m. every Sunday for $119.000 per adult. The hotel is located in an upscale and secure neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and shopping.
I travel constantly and have stayed at hotels all over the world — five-star resorts, boutique gems, you name it. Very rarely does someone stand out the way Harold has at the Residence Inn Marriott in Bogotá. I’m only on day two of my trip (with four more days to go), and I can already say this is easily one of the top two hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Harold isn’t just good at his job — he’s on another level. From the moment I arrived, his warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made me feel like I wasn’t just a guest, but family. He anticipates needs before I even have to ask, checks in with a smile that feels authentic, and handles every detail with a kind of precision and grace that makes you stop and appreciate how rare this kind of service truly is. Because of Harold, this hotel has officially become my go-to, my “one-stop shop” anytime I come back to Colombia. Marriott should be proud to have him — he has completely elevated my experience here. Exceptional doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you, Harold.

We stayed in 2 bedroom unit as we needed the space for teenagers to study. Did the job. Clean. Friendly staff. More that suitable breakfast included. Location is super safe and close to good restaurants for supper but far from historical district so make sure you know your touring plans before booking as location may not be suitable for you. It was for us as we valued space, safety, cleanliness and modern look. Enjoyed the walks to Parque 93.

Our stay at this hotel was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had so far. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel genuinely welcomed and right at home. Harold, in particular, stood out with his professionalism and willingness to help—he answered all our questions and handled every issue with great care and efficiency. Luz and Ruby from the restaurant were absolutely outstanding; their warmth, attentiveness, and service went above and beyond, and we quickly grew to adore them. The hotel’s location is also ideal, with supermarkets conveniently located just downstairs, and the complimentary access to the commercial gym next door is a fantastic bonus. Nice breakfast too. Without a doubt, we will return here for our next visit—no hesitation at all.

Dear Marriott Team, I feel compelled to follow up with this email to share my heartfelt feedback about our stay thus far. I am overwhelmed with emotion — tears of joy are quite literally streaming down my face as I write this. Harold Lopez (the manager) and his exceptional team have extended a level of care, kindness, and generosity that goes far beyond anything we could have imagined. When they learned that I was at the hospital for the birth of our baby, they went out of their way to support us. They helped my husband pack a breakfast box to bring to me, and they thoughtfully arranged transportation to pick us up from the hospital when we were discharged — a gesture that, in itself, touched us deeply. But their thoughtfulness didn’t stop there. Upon arriving at the hotel, Harold and his team were waiting outside to welcome us home. They assisted us with our baby, our stroller, and our bags, and Harold personally escorted us to our room. What awaited us inside left us speechless: a beautiful surprise cheese board with a handwritten note. Then, as we stepped into the bedroom, we were met with yet another surprise — pink balloons to celebrate the birth of our daughter, another heartfelt note, and a teddy bear. It was beyond anything we expected, and we were moved to tears. There are truly no words that can fully express our gratitude. These thoughtful gestures created a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I sincerely hope this message ensures that Harold and his team receive the recognition they so genuinely deserve. In all my life, I have never experienced such personalized attention, compassion, and hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone at the Residence Inn Marriott Bogotá. You have made our first days as a family of three absolutely unforgettable. With deep appreciation, JM

(Translated by Google) Terrible service and food. They also deceive the customer. I ordered a tray or paisa because of the photo on the menu and the one on the wall. Misleading advertising. The chorizo in the image is the size of half a tray and the one they give is three times smaller. To make matters worse, my wife got a fried worm in a potato and with the greatest impudence they said that it wasn't a worm, it was a piece of plastic. Of course she was disgusted and didn't eat it. And these thieves charged us $22,000 for the plate. Deceivers, dirty people and thieves.

The presentation of the food tray was beautiful, but the fish was small, super toasted, and completely plain. It seemed as if they had caught that fish and so, without pain or glory, they fried it without a miserable pinch of salt. The "coconut" rice was disgusting, it looked like rice baked with coconut oil and vanilla with a horrible taste and texture. The salad was acceptable and so was the patacón. The waiter tried hard, but the experience with the dish was tenacious (Original) Pedí una limonada helada o con hielo y pescado frito. Parecia como si hubiesen cogido ese pescado y así, sin pena ni gloria, lo echaron a fritar sin una miserable pizca de sal. La Changua Gastrobar is a delightful culinary destination that pays homage to the rich traditions of Colombian gastronomy, particularly the beloved dish known as changua. This comforting soup, originating from the Cundiboyacense highlands, features a harmonious blend of milk, poached eggs, and green onions. Each bowl is uniquely crafted with generous garnishes of fresh coriander and often accompanied by crusty bread—sometimes stale—that adds texture to the milky broth.

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious desserts, candies, ice cream, and coffee.

Food was good, slow service at the table. It seemed faster for to go items. Some of the food items on display were missing the name so it made it hard to know what was what. Even the employees were confused about the pie flavors that didn’t have a name. They have a good ice cream selection. Good experience overall.

This is a good place to visit. It has very good food and pastry. I usually come when I visit Bogota. I ordered Katsusha Eggs -pouched egg with a tomato sauce, avocado, onion, and , they are really good, but not for all people-, a butter croissant, a Spanish crude ham -Serrano ham-, natural orange juice, a bottle of water, and capuccino. However, the service was terrible in this opportunity. - I was waiting for the hostess, but nobody came. I decided to go directly to take a table after a couple that was behind me passed directly to the room. - Even though the place is plenty of servers, they need a better organization. a. I was waiting about 7 min to be attended after being seated. b. Also, when I ordered a butter croissant, I must talk to three servers to get it, 10 minutes waiting from talking to the table server at the first time. c. I was waiting for about 17 minutes for somebody to come to give me the check.

The server seemed disconnected, took our order and never came back. The food was brought out but no one ever stopped at our table to see if we needed anything. The tuna salad was with canned tuna.

For a breakfast that averages 20.000 pesos this place is understaffed, and not well kept - dirty tables and trash litters the tables that haven’t been serviced. The waiters are overworked, too.

Why only 3 stars? AVOID the restaurant. bad service, so-so food, and Expensive... BUT Bread and pastries are great... got a few favorites... I like this place as a stop and go place... get some coffee and indulge... Now, they also have a restaurant. Here is a few notes: * Service is slow and AWFUL... you will absolutely hate tipping them * my companion ordered coffee and her coffee cup came with Lipstick!!! Gross, the waitress didn't even notice. * food is good BUT way too expensive for it's quality...

The food was fine, but the service may be the worst service I've had in years. The server did not take notes at the table, forgot my spouse's meal, then forgot her only side, then sent a different server to apologize, and a different server to take payment. Our order was not complex, and we ordered in Spanish for what it's worth. Mind you, it appeared that the server that screwed up was the more senior server. From other reviews, this service issue appears to be happening to many patrons. We might give them another chance sometime, but it won't be soon.

Tried breakfast at this local café and found it to be an average experience overall. We had the egg benedict and oatmeal with coffee. The food and coffee were regular in terms of quality. The café offers a simple, no frills breakfast menu. The egg benedict and oatmeal were both decent but not particularly memorable. The coffee was standard, neither exceptional nor bad. Overall, it's an okay spot for a quick breakfast.

Great breakfast/brunch spot. The restaurant provides power outlets for business or personal use of a laptop. The servers were very nice and helpful which was a big help for me with my limited Spanish and all. The food was great! I had the Ufff, it didn’t disappoint. Definitely highly recommended!

First time visiting this place and we went for breakfast. Service was excellent and many had many many options to choose from. Almost too many lol. Food was average, but the real downside for us is that it was cold. Also the eggs were a little runny and the poached eggs were over cooked. I would give them another try some other time.
Danny D — Google review
I am very disappointed since returning after a few years. My eggs Benedict were bland and missing flavor, my mango juice was lukewarm, my espresso was mediocre at best. The service was below average. Please improve since this used to be one of my favorite breakfast places in all of Bogota.

The whole family enjoyed a late breakfast at the French inspired restaurant. The meal I ate was called the Ranch with was 2 eggs in a skillet with ranchero sauce, spices, cheese, and bread. Absolutely delicious, will repeat if there is time.

This should be my dream restaurant with an all day breakfast menu the length of my arm. However the food just fails to deliver. The restaurant has a nice outdoor terrace that gets a little bit noisy when it is full. The food promises so much but doesn’t live up to the price. The almond croissant just isn’t as good as MASA or Brot.

Castanyoles is a Spanish restaurant located in the Four Seasons Casa Medina hotel, offering a blend of traditional techniques and ingredients with some Colombian products. The restaurant imports Iberian acorn-fed ham, olive oil, and cheeses directly from Spain while sourcing most vegetables from nearby farms or markets. Castanyoles hosts a fancy brunch every Sunday featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet and welcome drink, and it's pet-friendly.

What a lovely way to treat yourself. You don't have to spend a fortune even though this is The 4 Seasons. The drinks are pricey but delicious. And the tapas arrive as you wish in the form of delicious little plates of art. And if you're lucky, you'll be served by a welcoming and engaging bartender named Hanz. Go.

Castanyoles is a beatiful hotel restaurant located inside of the Four Seasons Casa Medina in Bogota. The hotel used to be a colonial style house that is well mantained and offers a very luxurious and antique feeling. The restaurant has an amazing ilumination at night, furniture is amazing and is connected to some open terraces if you want to drink/eat outside. The food style is based on traditional spanish cousine, the paella mixta is amazing and the miguelitos dessert is one of the best I've taste in the latest months. The menu is not so big but have a reasonable options for vegans also. Drknks are nice and finally the service is very good and attentive with guests. It's quite expensive but very good for special occasion.

I made a reservation on a Friday night for 9pm for a special date night for me and my boyfriend. However, when I got to the restaurant, they informed me that they cannot seat us because the venue is reserved for an event. I’m not sure why this was never communicated to us considering the fact that they had our contact info and they allowed us to make the reservation. By this point in the night, any other restaurant that I wanted to go to was fully booked so we just ended up going back to our hotel and getting fast food. It ruined my whole date night. This restaurant needs to inform people if they cannot be accommodated instead of letting them know once they get there. Terrible experience.

The restaurant is definitely in the upscale segment. The interior is nice - kept in business style. The food was good. There was a good selection of food and wines, I had the paella with octopus, which was a bit salty but generally good and the desserts were delicious, the child was happy, the woman was happy, the husband paid for everything and off they went...
Tilman B — Google review
Good but not amazing. The starters were cold - had the praws (came cold, apparently only the sauce is meant to be hot, but that was cold too) + the croquettes (luke warm). The mains were really good - had the rib eye steak + the local fish. Both very good. The churros were excellent despite not being very hot (there'sa theme here). The chocolate sauce is delicious. Don't bother with the non-alcoholic cocktails. They were awful 😖. Tasted of chemicals and pure sugar. Luckily they took them off the bill so we didn't have to pay for them.

Immaculate service during a late night dinner. I ordered the catch of the day and the shrimp appetizer - both were delicious (but slightly salty). The black garlic butter served with a rustic bread was a great compliment to the meal.
