Chicken wings restaurant
Restaurant
Ye Rustic Inn is a lively tavern located in Los Feliz, established in 1971. It's a popular spot known for its budget-friendly drinks and bar bites, including their renowned wings and weekend breakfast offerings. The atmosphere is described as cave-like, with multiple dart boards, pool tables, shuffleboard, and an array of bottled macro beers. The friendly staff and local vibes make it an ideal corner bar to hang out at.
This place doesn’t disappoint. The wings are really good on par to what you would find in Buffalo, NY. The service is friendly & bar has a local neighborhood vibe. The next time I’m in LA & want wings similar to what they have in the 716 this is my “go to” stop. Go Bills! 🦬

Genuinely not sure what the fuss is about this place. Went to try the wings from all the hype. Got the regular, cooked spicy. They might be advertised as never frozen but they were very dry. Food is below average quality and over priced. Id say id go back for the beer, but small selection there too. Honestly just your very average dive bar, as long as that's what you expect hopefully you won't be disappointed.
Ashley G — Google review
The staff here is wonderful! I accidentally left my rings on the table (took them off to eat the wings, which were fire btw) then went to a concert. I went back to the bar hours later to see if anyone had turned in my rings and our server Katrina had kept them safe for me & made sure I got them back even though her shift was over and she had gone home for the night. Another server (I think her name is Max) helped me get in touch with Katrina. So thankful for these ladies, excellent customer service!!

It's a classic bar experience; loud music, friendly people willing to engage in banter, and some good bar food. Their chicken wings are some of the best I've ever had, you can order them crispy or extra crispy, and their in-house buffalo is addictive. Fair warning, all food is made to order so be prepared to wait and enjoy the atmosphere! The staff is friendly and respectful, but as it gets busier they do have to hustle to keep everyone served. They also have comfortable cubicles inside as well as outside seating which is particularly nice when the weather permits.

My first Google review ever!! Born and raised in la have been to ye rustic plenty of times but today was my first time in a whole. Food is amazing music is always good and vibes are always great but writing this because I had an amazing server who saved my ass!! I wish I had gotten her name but she was a short blonde girl with cheetah pants and they were great!! I left the restaurant and forgot my wallet at my table and she chased us down and RIGHT before we took off. Full sprint and everything and got me my wallet back 😭😭 I lose it a lot!! And so this was really meaningful to me!! I wish I could’ve tipped her more I gave her all the cash I had which unfortunately wasn’t a lot but they were awesome!! Whoever checks this tell them thank you!!!

Good dive bar. Decent happy hour Mon-Thurs 4-7. Good spot to watch a game. Decent amount of seating inside. They also have a front patio. The bar food is pretty good. Get the wings hot and extra crispy. Friendly staff. Small lot in front or street parking.

I had to try their Buffalo wings. It didn’t disappoint. The best thing on the menu. However I don’t recommend their steak : the server forgot my order to put a mushroom on my steak and also the meat was dry. I’d keep coming back for more Buffalo wing though. I like it extra crispy and next time, I’ll ask extra sauce. I also like their drink special that comes with extra shot of vodka/ tequila/ Rum when you order a beer. You’ll get extra tipsy.
Tomomi S — Google review
An unremarkable surly dive. Food is at the same prices as other neighborhood spots but below in quality. Seating is uncomfortable and crowded. Ya they have beer. Don't ask for any detail. The wings, hyped as they were, seemed from frozen, a bit dry, sad vegetables, didn't even get properly coated in sauce. Waited an hour for them. Wouldn't recommend.

Restaurant
Kyochon Chicken is a popular Korean-style chicken spot known for its spicy wings and drumsticks drenched in soy-ginger glaze or fiery red pepper paste. Despite the hype cooling down, the restaurant's thin-skinned, garlic-saturated bird still draws crowds. The franchise has made its way to Koreatown, offering customers a chance to savor their beloved wings either dining in or taking out.
I’ve been waiting for this location to reopen, and now it finally has! The whole indoor atmosphere has changed a lot—in a very good way—and the design in front of the restroom was quite impressive. The waitress at the front of the house was so friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. And the taste—obviously, absolutely great! To be honest, it was even better than before. My friends and I fell in love with the honey chicken, tteokbokki, and garlic fried rice. Especially the Salsal chicken—it was my little one’s favorite! We really enjoyed our time here, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

I recently tried the chicken at this restaurant and was very impressed. The two different styles of chicken were both unique and delicious. The crispy sticks coated with puffed rice had a light and crunchy texture that was very enjoyable. They weren’t greasy at all, and the coating gave a satisfying bite with every piece. The sauced chicken wings were coated in a rich, sticky glaze that had a perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes. The flavor was bold but not overwhelming, and the wings were juicy and well-cooked inside. The presentation was also very nice, served on wooden boards with parchment paper, making the dishes feel fresh and inviting. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The food was flavorful, the textures were excellent, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves fried chicken with a twist.

First time to Kyochon after hearing great reviews from my girlfriend. Glad it is finally reopened. The place was closed for a few months for renovation and expansion of the kitchen and dining areas. The place has a refreshed look with modern furnishings and an ordering tablet at each table. There is a large TV perfect for game nights. Take out orders are still very popular in addition to more tables. Regarding the food, this place is known to be very popular in Korea. Trying the wings and it is true that they are superior. I highly recommend the honey chicken. The soy garlic wings were just average but still good. I thought the radish and coleslaw was pickled very well. We also ordered potato wedges and they were crispy on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside.

Shame on this restaurant for calling this a discount. This was not a bad deal…..It was exploitation!! Kyochon is taking advantage of delivery app promotions by advertising “buy one, get one free” while quietly changing what the item actually is. What used to be a full chicken has turned into a pile of chopped-up bones with the meat stripped off. It’s a trick. And it’s annoying. 🤬 I have literally given Kyochon a positive review before. Not perfect, but fair. I said it was hit or miss, but when they got it right, the chicken was flavorful and crispy. I called the boneless pieces juicy. That was based on real, decent delivery food. This time was completely different. We ordered two whole chickens—Soy Garlic and Honey—under their buy-one-get-one promotion. We paid almost $50, even with the promotion. In other words, they are trying to charge $50 for one of these meals alone. And what showed up was nothing close to a whole chicken. No breasts. No thighs. No full cuts. Just broken bones coated in batter. 🦴 It felt like they used the real meat for other dishes and gave us the scraps. This wasn’t a mistake. It was a strategy. Create a fake “deal,” reduce the portion size, change the product, split one meal across two containers, and pass it off as generous. Flavor alone might have earned 2 stars. But this wasn’t about taste. It was about being misled. I have never felt more tricked by a restaurant order. We ended up having to order from another place because it was either that or eat chicken bones for dinner. 😱 Yes, there were a few pieces with meat, but you’d get three times as much actual chicken from a store-bought rotisserie for eight dollars—compared to both of these so-called “whole chickens” combined. 🤨 I want a refund. Verdict. Charisma 2. Uniqueness 2. Nerve 1. Talent 2.
JORDAN J — Google review
Grand re-opening was super crowded. The waitress was very accommodating and made it a better experience. Make sure you try the special tenders, it's really crispy and done with mini rice pellets I wish they advertised the Makgeolli (rice wine), I think that would have been better for business. I actually had to ask about it because it wasn't anywhere on the ordering menu. Kyochon is still one of the best in town.
Wade L — Google review
I love the restaurant's vibe. However the check-in was pretty unorganized. After I got seated, everything went pretty fast even if they had many things sold out on the menu. Thank you Hoon for your kind service and advice

Kyochon is back!! First time back since the remodel. Everything looks very clean with beautiful aesthetics. The chicken tastes the same as I remember it. They even gave a free sample of soy garlic and red hot chicken wings while we waited for our table to open. Very friendly service.

The Greyhound Bar & Grill is a lively spot in Highland Park that stands out from the typical sports bars with its diverse wing flavors and laid-back atmosphere. With 18 different wing options, including unique flavors like garlic parm and cherry bomb, it's a place where wing enthusiasts can indulge without getting bored. The semi-divey ambiance adds to the charm, making it an ideal setting for enjoying their extensive beer selection while catching a game on one of several TVs.
You order from an app at your table and everything comes out very quickly. Sounds like it would feel impersonal but it wasn't. The food was delicious. We had sprouts, fried pickles, wings, the blueberry club, and the veggie quinoa. Everything was delicious, though we wouldn't have minded tasting the blueberry a bit more. 😊

Made a quick stop into The Greyhound Bar and Grill! Grabbed some spicy margaritas that were DELICIOUS! The spot was super chill with ample seating available! While I didn’t get to try the food, they had a pretty good looking food menu!
Valentina A — Google review
Not flashy, but super reliable if you want good bar food and a rotating beer list. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and a hazy IPA—both were great. The vibe is laid back with sports on but not overly loud. It gets busy on weekends, but the staff moves quickly. Great neighborhood hangout
Bill F — Google review
Great place with south good beer options. Bar tenders are so attentive and knowledgeable . We had a great time wanting to go back to try notes beers.
Oscar F — Google review
Good neighborhood sports bar. Lots of seating and TVs. Good selection of beers. They have a decent happy hour 3-530. The food is pretty good bar food. Burger is ok. The wings are great. There's street meter parking or a pay lot across the street.
Jeff C — Google review
Crappy QR drink menu but printed food menu? No table service unless you use QR ordering? This makes it better for customers how?? Added: In light of the management-splaing reply that, gosh, it's a hassle to keep printing up so many beer options (it's not like they have a quarter as many taps as any Yard House) and they only recently added table service...I'll add this: check your receipt for a mystery "Kitchen Love" charge of 4% over and above whatever tip you provide. If that's a mandatory tip, disclose it in advance so I can reduce my discretionary tip. If that's a 4% discount for cash, also disclose it in advance. But adding a Kitchen Love charge? Gotta tell ya, man, I don't love 'em that much to pay you a Resort Fee for a burger that took 40 minutes to arrive after reminding both the server AND the kitchen staff.
Phil H — Google review
IT is really expensive. $15.50 for what they called a Shohey Ohtani dog, for a regular hot dog. and some grilled onions on it. Daniel was a great bartender but the prices and the food are terrible. Went there to see a Dodger game and really nobody showed up.I couldn't believe it last time I went it was packed. They also charge you a percentage for the cooks. Their prices are so high. You would think their profit margin would allow them to give their cooks or raise. It's a hidden charge and is illegal and I plan on reporting them.

Howlin' Ray's Hot Chicken in Chinatown is a food truck that has gained fame for its Nashville-style hot fried chicken and flavorful sides. The chef, Howlin Rays Johnny Zone, is renowned for kickstarting the Nashville hot chicken trend in Los Angeles. The dedicated and energetic crew ensures that customers are served with high morale despite long lines. The craveable chicken sandwich offers an intense flavor and heat, providing a face-tingling euphoria.
I’ve been coming here for years, but this is my first time leaving a review—and it’s long overdue! Hands down, this is the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I’m at a point in life where the medium heat is just right—flavorful with a kick, but still enjoyable. I tried the “hot” during the winter and it was a bit too intense, so choose your spice level wisely! Everything on the menu hits—from the tenders to the wings—and you have to try the comeback sauce. To top it all off, the service is consistently fantastic. Always a pleasure coming back!

These burgers are BIG! Photo does not do it justice size wise (I have huge hands). Get the dry age, worth the price. Best non-smash patty burger in the city! Hot dog was okay, not nearly as memorable as the burger. Fries were also good and large portion. Service is awesome, the ladies working during my visit were very nice and helpful.

I would give 100 stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️ if I could, we live 2 hrs away. When we are in town we have to stop by this place has exceeded my expectations. The staff goes above and beyond with hospitality. The customer care that radiates from this place should be in EVERY business the food is excellent the staff is AAAAAMMMAAAAZZZIIIINNNGG THIS is why I dont mind driving and going out of my way to eat here. Olive garden has nothing on them because when you are at Howlin Ray's you truly are family. We need a Howlin Ray's in Bakersfield. There is a.......... Dave's chicken Nashville Hot Chicken Angry Chicken But none of them are on the scale as Howlin Ray's yes you heard me right this is finger lickin goooood chicken and they have there own drinks no fountain drinks, they do have soda cans and there drinks sweet peach pink and white can lemonade yellow and white can. There are tables outside, the staff calls your # when your food is ready make sure to stop by the counter they have a yellowish treasure box with fun pins and stickers of Howlin Ray's. There is street parking you have to feed the meter. If you are ever in Chinatown don't forget to stop by and meet the staff they will make your day. OH!!! yes, I almost forgot 🤔 to mention and get some chicken strips or chicken sandwiches too 😋 😅 🙃

This place had an amazing staff that look and sounded like they love what they do and had incredible hospitality and their service was phenomenal! My brother got one of their classic sandwich’s and I myself being a vegetarian got what they called Mario Style fries which is shown in the third photo and it tasted absolutely delicious! If I’m back in town I 100% will go to get it!

This is by far the best chicken sandwhich ive ever had (ive had many lol) got the sando with fries and waffle. The comeback sauce is soooo good and the waffle is seriously one of the best waffles ive ever had. I was shocked how good everything was. Definitely a MUST TRY when in LA. The workers are so nice and try really hard to make sure you are good and have everything you need. This place has it down to the T. The food the service the environment. 10/10!!!!!

I visited Howlin’ Ray’s in Chinatown yesterday and was genuinely blown away! The fried chicken was incredible — super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. But what surprised me even more was the amazing service. From the moment we ordered, the staff were incredibly friendly. They offered helpful suggestions, explained the spice levels, and made us feel really welcome. I also noticed how well the team got along with each other, which created a really warm atmosphere. It was my first time here, so my friend and I took a lot of photos of the chicken and the cute packaging. One of the staff members came over to check how we liked everything. When we told him it was delicious, he was genuinely happy. A little later, he even brought us some small but adorable souvenirs as a gift. I honestly didn’t expect that at all. I was really touched by the team’s passion and sincerity. It’s not just great fried chicken — it’s an experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting LA!
Zhi J — Google review
Howlin' Rays Hot Chicken is a decently good chicken sandwich place! I may not be the appropriate audience for this place as the chicken sandwich I got was good, but there was nothing "wow" about it. We were recommended this place by a friend of ours who lives in California as a must try spot. We stood in line for about 40 minutes and ordered the medium chicken sandwich, and the "secret" menu Mario fries. The sandwich was good, but as already mentioned, at no point did I think this was a sandwich I would stand in line for 40 minutes to get again. The Mario fries also weren't worth it in my opinion, though I did enjoy them more than the sandwich myself. Personally, I enjoyed the spicy Popeye's chicken sandwich more than the one I had out Howlin' Ray's. Kudos to the customer service though. From the cashier to every other individual you interact with, they are extremely friendly and they talk to you and seem to genuinely care. They also seem to give out some freebies which is super cool. We got to try all of the sauces they had for free (which were all delicious. My favorite being the honey mustard). Overall, if you are a fan of chicken sandwiches, try it out and you won't be disappointed. However, if you are like me and you are someone who eats chicken sandwiches occasionally, you probably will end up like me and question if standing in line this long was worth the wait. I would say no, unfortunately it was not worth the wait.
Jesse J — Google review
I love Howlin Ray's every time I'm out in LA if I have the chance I'll go grab a sandwich. I usually get the hot and it is pretty hot. But I've learned over time if you're getting the checking tender like the strips go one down so get like a medium or even this. Since it doesn't have the bread or the coleslaw to cool it down and the pickles it could be really hot. But the chickens excellent there's plenty of seats the line goes pretty fast and the staff are always fun and very friendly. And whatever you do when you're eating don't touch your freaking eye. Lol

Maple Block Meat Co. is a trendy BBQ restaurant with a modern ambiance, offering classic barbecue dishes and upgraded sides. Guests can enjoy watching the chefs in action from counter seats while indulging in lunch and dinner options such as chopped pork shoulder, free-range chicken, brisket, smoked sausage links, and turkey breast. The standout choice is the beautifully rubbed pork spare ribs that are worth the trip alone. It's an ideal spot for large groups due to its convenient location in Culver City.
Cute and cozy patio seating. Our server was so great. She was helpful with menu suggestions and went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. Skillet cornbread was AMAZING. The charred poblanos and honey butter, ugh. So good. We ordered pork ribs, lean brisket and pulled pork, and sausage. The ribs were my favorite. Also ordered the Burnt Ends Old Fashioned and it was very good. I would love to go back to try the rest of their Old Fashioned menu!

James and I are from Arkansas and love in Texas. We take BBQ seriously. LOL If you are not from the area, drive to the back to park. There doesn't look to be enough parking for the amount of customers the can handle. The brisket nachos were good. The ribs and chicken were well under seasoned. The pork tacos were a little dry. The brisket tacos were good. The chocolate chip cookies are not worth getting. They have a bland taste and hard as a rock. We did ask for milk to try and help, but it didn't work. Most of our big cookie was uneaten. The atmosphere gives a good vibe. The woman handling or order was super kind. We were able to have some good conversations with her.

Craving BBQ, I decided to make a pit stop at Maple Block on my way home. I ordered the pork ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and sides of mac & cheese, fries, coleslaw, and beans. First off, I really liked the laid-back vibe of the place—very chill, with friendly and attentive staff that made me feel welcome. Service was quick, which I appreciated, but the food itself was just okay in my opinion. The ribs, while meaty, were from mature pork rather than baby back, and they arrived warm but not hot. The seasoning felt a bit off for my taste—almost like it leaned toward a Mexican-inspired profile, especially the beans, which definitely didn’t have that classic Southern BBQ feel. The sausage was decent, but overall, the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me. That said, it’s a cool local spot with good energy. While the food didn’t wow me, I could see how others might enjoy it. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and want to try something a little different from the usual BBQ fare.

The waiter and manager was super nice and very kind. All smiles & the food was great!.... especially the pork ribs. They just fell apart in your mouth when you took a bite. Only disappointment is the barbecue sauce. Too runny and it didn't have a deep taste. Other than that, we had a great experience.

Great place for lunch! I took my wife and met some old friends I used to work with at KNBC-TV was great. Ample portions. We ordered Brisket Sandwiches with beans and potato salad . One friend ordered the /2 pound Tri Tip. I ordered a side of corn bread. All was cooked to perfection and a great taste.

First things first - the food at The Maple Block is unbeatable. It's hard to find authentic barbeque in Los Angeles and this definitely scratches the itch. The beer selection is vast and the prices are reasonable. But what really makes The Maple Block is the employees, the community, and the atmosphere. Hugo, the general manager, is so kind and genuine. His customer service is outstanding. Come here, grab yourself a plate and a cold beer, sit on the patio and look out at Angels Flight - you won't regret it.

Fun, casual environment with excellent food! I was in LA for work and my team ended up eating dinner here twice. Small parking lot in back with ample outdoor seating. Service wasn’t consistent or particularly friendly. We did come towards the end of Saturday so they were running out of several meats and sides. However, we enjoyed everything we ordered!
Meredith M — Google review
Came here randomly and am SO happy I tried it. The space is bigger than it appeared from the outside and the smells were appetizing as we walked in! There is a nice sized outdoor space and small parking lot if you’d rather relax outdoors - it has a pleasant ambiance with a covered patio and some more tables and benches covered by umbrellas over turf. Food: I ordered the bbq breakfast burrito with smoked brisket, scrambled eggs, white cheddar, avocado, tater tots, pico de gallo and chipotle aioli which came with a side of green salsa. All of it was delicious - more than enough of a portion for one person (two people can safely share this especially if you get a side of esquites). The esquites were delicious, served in a cup as a starter and great to share as well. I had no complaints about my burrito- the portion was good for the price, the ingredients were fresh and the burrito was prepared very well. I poured salsa and bbq sauce from the table over it with every bite but honestly didn’t need to - it tasted great on its own. Service: Really good service, we were frequently attended to and had our orders taken and food delivered pretty reasonably quickly! Appreciate the nice server who saw me running from a bee at the table and kindly collected it and let it free elsewhere. Overall a great experience. I’m excited to come back and try more of the items.

Cafe
Hot Wings Cafe is a local chain in Los Angeles that has been a staple for over 30 years, offering chicken wings, sandwiches, and burgers in a casual setting. The menu includes platters of up to 1000 wings but also offers smaller portions for individual orders. Customers rave about the quality of the wings, describing them as crispy without being breaded and available in various flavorful sauces. The quick service and attentive staff contribute to the positive dining experience at this establishment.
Hot Wings Cafe delivers on flavor but could work on consistency. The fried zucchini was absolutely phenomenal—crispy, flavorful, and an easy standout that I’d highly recommend to anyone. The large 16-piece bone-in chicken wings were mostly enjoyable, complemented by delicious ranch and blue cheese dips. However, some of the wings were disappointingly small, barely more than a bite, and they seemed overcooked or perhaps left sitting out, as they arrived a bit cold and hard. Despite these small setbacks, the overall experience was still satisfying, and the food was undeniably tasty. At $38 for the meal delivered just 8 minutes away, it’s not cheap, but the quality of the fried zucchini and the flavorful sauces made it worth considering another visit. Hot Wings Cafe has great potential, and while there’s room for improvement in the wing preparation, it remains a solid choice for chicken wing enthusiasts.

Very surprised we had to stumble upon this wing spot! Lemon pepper was the best ove had in a while. The hot wings are good! The spicey bowls is better than the regular BBQ. The turkey burger was seasoned and full of flavor. Our server was so nice withba beautiful face and personality. The food came quickly and we didn't break the bank. It got busy around 4:15pm but it didn't slow down service. Oh its rare that wings doesn't bother my sensitive stomach, so that was a plus. I guess the oil or the batter they use is really good. Ill come back on my calorie cheat day.

Classic style cafe on Melrose. Had to try their burgers. I found my whole order was delightful.

This is by far the go to wing spot in LA. I have been going here for over 30 years and the food has maintained quality throughout that time. My order is lemon pepper and hot mixed. I get the 8 piece with curly fries and the lemonade with free refills and I’m never disappointed. You can ask for saucy if you like which makes them even better. There is a great waitress there who makes the experience fun. Drop by grab some wings, you’ll be happy you did.

Hot Wings Cafe has been my go-to spot for nearly 20 years, and it still holds the title of my ultimate favorite place ever. I first discovered it with my coworkers two decades ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The wings are hands down the most flavorful, delicious, and consistently amazing wings you’ll ever taste, packed with flavor in every bite. What truly sets this place apart, beyond the unbeatable wings, is the welcoming vibe. The long-time staff are warm, friendly, and make you feel right at home. Even the owner is often around, engaging with customers and creating a great neighborhood atmosphere. I’ve introduced dozens of friends and family to this place over the years, and they’ve all become fans too. Hot Wings Cafe is absolutely amazing!!!

One of my favorite places for wings! The service is respectful and friendly, which I really appreciate. The food is always hot and fresh. The curly fries are fantastic! I would love to have an option to add seasoning to the curly fries. The wings are amazing! This is my top choice for wings!

OMG! I got one word… delicious! I went to this wing spot on a whim not expecting it to be such a hit. The staff is fun and efficient, they’re also knowledgeable about the menu. Great combination. I tried the lemon pepper wings and the spicy bbq in the 25 piece (no curly fries bc I don’t like them) and I’m in love. Super flavorful and sooo worth the money. Zero complaints and will definitely be going back.

The baby shrimp dish is especially noteworthy, reminiscent of flavors that many may remember from childhood.

The Baseline: For Fried/Karaage chicken that must be crispy, meaty, and flavorful. Food: The Karaage chicken was really crispy and delicious. The Double Jane chicken was uniquely fried and the flavor was really good. Service: The service was excellent and my waitress provided great service. My water glass was not let empty. Atmosphere: The seats are comfortable and the tables are well situated with a nice Sawtelle Japanese style. The restroom was clean.
Noahark W — Google review
FuRaiBo serves up a lot of Japanese cuisine, but the two go-to items are the fried chicken (Jane) and spam fried rice. In place of the thicker flour/batter coating typically found on most fried chicken, the coating at FuRaiBo's is lighter and spicy. But spicy doesn't mean heat, it means it's loaded with spices, and this is what you'll want. Extra spicy is where it's at. The spam fried rice sounds and taste exactly like you'd expect it to. So if you're a fan of both, you'll definitely love this dish. We visited during lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't that busy. There was plenty of parking in the back too. The staff was friendly, portions were good, and the place was clean. Lunch prices were fair too

We've been coming here for years and first time with our dog and sat outside with the standing heater. Food is always good but on the salty side because people drink here and it goes well with a beer or two. The workers here are extremely nice and the parking in the back lot is free!

The veggie sticks are served with housemade ranch, and the flavors that stand out include lemon pepper with a hot sauce drizzle, jerk-style BBQ, and garlic parmesan.
I had an amazing experience at Wings To Go in Inglewood! The wings were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. This was a word of mouth tryout. It exceeded my expectations. The outside looks regular, so I asked a couple of people I saw leaving with food their opinion they too gave it the thumbs up and recommended the lemon pepper chicken. It was yum but they have a few flavors that aren’t the norm green chili lime, delish, lemon pepper drizzled with chili, definitely a return visit, garlic parmesan fries were nice. And my fav was the watermelon slushy. Yum.I will be back. Gonna try the cranberry coleslaw next time.

Although it’s been years since I last ordered here but their wing combos are worth it! I remember I would usually order wings with fried rice and veggie sticks. Better than Wing Stop for sure. Can’t wait to go again soon!
Jonathan P — Google review
You can only pick one flavor if you get the 6 piece so I ordered the 10 piece combo so I could pick two flavors. The combo comes with a side and a drink so I chose the Cajun fries and an Arnold Palmer. The combo also comes with a small side of carrots, celery, and ranch. The wings are on the smaller side so the 10 piece combo is enough for one person. I got the garlic Parmesan and the jerky bbq and my favorite out of the two was the garlic Parmesan. The amount of garlic flavor in the wings was perfect. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.

First time - ordered 10 pieces half lp & mild...I hope the food is better than the customer service... + not feeling the lack of limited side sauce options only e choice of sauces (ranch & honey mustard) ...🤷🤦** I'm not the biggest Wing Stop fan however I don't think Wing Stop has a lot to worry about here in terms of competition...

Wanted to pick up something quick for dinner so came here for togo. We were the only people who ordered but it took a bit for us to get our food. Anyway came home and taste our food and OMG. It was so ridiculously salty that my tongue felt numb. I don’t know if they accidentally poured entire jar of salt and didn’t feel like remaking our stuff so maybe just gave it to us anyway. Because there is no way they didn’t know they put this much salt in the food to where it would make you immediately spit the food out and your tongue feels numb from it being so salty. There was no way any of us could eat anything we ordered. Ridiculous but we couldn’t walk all the way back here so just ended up throwing everything away and got something else to eat.. waste of our money.
Haelyn K — Google review
So, this was a hot spot on my list of places to visit when I finally made the trek to LA. Well, it was well worth the hype. I thought the clout would get to me, but the food upped the ante and I was impressed!!! Drew, who I came to know his name to be, told me they were recently moved to LA from Atlanta, trying to make it by serving some of the best food around. They are well on their way. I had planned to stop my first day for a lunch, but it was super hot, and I didn’t want to have to eat outside or lug my food back to my airbnb to try and enjoy it, so I simply left with plans to come back before the trip was over. The last night, we decided to go visit LA Wings & Steaks. My fiancé got the steak egg roll, and 10 wings (1/2 Teriyaki - 1/2 sweet chili) with a mango lemonade. I got the Philly cheesesteak fries and a strawberry lemonade. MAN, what a blessing. The food was phenomenal, flavorful, and a perfect food truck option for anyone looking for a great meal. Drew, and company, keep fighting the good fight and serving the people of LA with your great grub!

Used to visit on a regular when I lived off Figueroa so seized the opportunity on a visit downtown. After yelling my order with an extra blue cheese over the loud af generator (any way you can move it or get a quieter one?), the pay pad wasn’t working. Finally pay via phone/Square an amount of $21 (loud generator) which is more than what I’d estimate for 10pc wing ($16) with an extra sauce and tax, but cool. Get home, ONE damn blue cheese and super salty wings. Like, numb your tongue & lips salty. What happened? Good food AND great service used to be your thing!!

Well I was in the area so I stopped b This food truck, amongst. I ordered hot wings and the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. All I can say is......it ain't all that!!! those egg rolls could use some onion and bell pepper since it s an Philly cheese steak,I mean add something to it rather than just cheese and meat. The hot wings where just wings that flew away from what a hot wing represents. Well all in all the people are nice.

Soul food restaurant
Honey's Kettle Fried Chicken is a bright and airy spot known for its homemade Southern comfort food, particularly its crispy fried chicken and fresh biscuits. Vincent Williams, the mastermind behind the restaurant, has spent over four decades perfecting the art of Southern-style fried chicken. The chicken is marinated in a top-secret spice blend for 24 hours before being fried in peanut oil to achieve a shaggy golden crust that locks in all the flavor.
Was in the area and decided to check 2g2g lo and behold they have a few surprise bags! What's more surprising it was during lunch time and off I go. Parking was bad or non existent but I was just going in to pickup. There was a short line and my food was ready in a flash as they have a bunch of fried chicken up in the warming trays already. They smelled heavenly, I dug into the fries while driving home and they were good with an odd taste of celery? They heated up really well too and oh my the biscuit was heavenly and I drizzle manuka honey on them. One of the best surprise bags I got, so worth it

If you’re craving greasy, flavorless chicken, this is your spot! The sides were forgettable, and the catfish smelled like it needed a vacation. Save yourself the regret and just go to KFC.
Missy B — Google review
The chicken breading is not my preference, but the actual chicken inside tasted great. The fries were fine however the real star of the show is their biscuit, it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The experience is bogged down by a noticeable wait time even though they had chicken on hand (they cooked mine fresh I guess?) and a price that is clearly adjusted because it’s right next to the Sony Studio. I will come back for their biscuit and to try their famous pecan pie.
Andrew S — Google review
Love this spot. Absolutely the best fried chicken you’ll get in South California. The ambience inside is not spectacular, but the food is and worth the weight. I’ve been coming here for 10 years, it’s a tradition for a family to go there for every birthday. You must have the chicken, biscuits and the pancakes. They are unreal. Don’t forget the honey and extra butter!

Prices are stupid. Chicken 👎🏽Service/ atmosphere 👎🏽 cramped dining area chicken strips slightly dry my favorite part was the biscuits.. Chicken batter not flavorful like it used to be.
Lina W — Google review
We came here after hearing so much buzz about their “famous” fried chicken, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing food experiences we’ve had in LA. The chicken was extremely basic — lacking seasoning, crispiness, and flavor. Honestly, even a chain like Popeyes serves better fried chicken. If you’re visiting specifically for the fried chicken, save yourself the trip — it’s simply not worth the hype. What did taste good were the blueberry biscuit and the milkshake, which were genuinely enjoyable. But given the name and reputation, we expected the fried chicken to be the star, and it wasn’t even close.

Restaurant
Gol Tong Chicken is a small, unassuming establishment owned by Kil Chae Jeong, a former film director turned fried chicken connoisseur. The menu features only three items: soy garlic chicken, chili chicken, and classic crunchy fried chicken, all made from boneless thigh meat. Customers rave about the Director's Cut which includes all three flavors. The shop may be easy to miss due to its small size and limited parking space.
Simply outstanding Korean fried chicken with a super unique twist! Fried to crunchy perfection while remaining so tender and juicy inside. Topped with wide variety of fresh fruit And those sauces are sticky goodness!

It’s nice seeing people live out their dreams and make something so nice. I heard about this place and had to try it. We got the smaller directors cut. Ngl this was amazing to see and it taste just as good. The Soy garlic was my favorite sauce. Now I know fruit and fried chicken is different but it’s nice actually . All the flavors or salty and sweet come together nicely. The place is alittle small but it’s impressive that it’s a one man show. Highly recommended if you are in the area .
Killua L — Google review
We chose here based on the high ratings. ⭐️ It's a 1 man show here, with the ex Korean film director serving and cooking. There was a lot of seating for such a small space. We also counted nine TVs lining the walls or windows showing K-pop. Liked: • The honey and soy Fried Chicken was crispy and truly delicious 😋 • The dish was beautifully presented with a mixture of summer fruits, adding natural sweetness to the savoury flavours • We arrived before it became busy and he even posed for the photo when I was capturing the interior of the restaurant. Didn't like: • I came on an empty tummy and had an upset stomach 15 minutes after I finished eating, so the food did not agree with me 🤢 • As a one man show on a busy evening, there was not much service but he still expected a tip • He would not split bills, presumably to save time • We did not understand from the menu that one dish would be enough to serve two people. As soon as one person ordered he left without hearing the second person. Conclusion: it does not give me pleasure to write these comments, especially for a small business, but sadly there will only be one take for me.😭
J L — Google review
One of the most interesting Korean fried chicken places - chicken served with fruit. Both the chicken and fruit were excellent quality. The meat was crispy and moist, and they definitely give you your money's worth with how big the pieces are as well as how much is served. The fruit is fresh, sweet, varied, and abundant. I'm not quite sure what the point of piling fried chicken and fresh fruit together was though. It looks interesting and is a unique combination, but it's not even that the chicken is made with the fruit to integrate the flavors together; it's just the chicken is fried and the fruit is thrown on top of it. Try it if you're looking for something unique. Also, credit to the owner, as he's the only one working there (at least when I was there), and he maintained a quick and friendly service.
Kai N — Google review
A lot of people hyped this place up but im not sure what the deal is. The resturant is owned by an elderly former Korean film maker and its only him. No other staff to sit up down, take our order, or make our payment. There's a total of 5 options will 3 of them being boneless and 2 others starring at $75. The chicken was good but nothing great. Enough to feed 3-4 people or 2 very hungry people. Be prepared to wait for everything.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and turns out it was very good! Food cooked and brought out by the former director himself. We didnt have to wait to order. We order our food to go and did not have to wait very long. The fried chicken was delicious! I bet it would have been even better in the restaurant. The sauces provided were very tasty and we enjoyed the fruits! It complemented it well. Would recommend and return. Small parking lot tho.
Vee H — Google review
The food here is unbelievably good. The chicken, fruit, and veggies are always of the utmost quality and taste incredible together and by themselves. I've had the director's cut a few times and love all three flavors. The chicken alone is worth the price - the texture, flavor, and size are all fantastic. By itself, it's the best korean fried chicken I've had. But the fruit and vegetables are what really take it over the top for me - they're somehow always perfectly ripe, seriously erupting with flavor. That said, even if you're not a fan of fruit, my girlfriend loves this place and isn't a big fruit person. Yes, when it's busier the service isn't to the typical American standard - he's having to run around to tend to everyone and everything - but it's always satisfactory. But on the slower days, I've found that he's actually quite welcoming and has a fun energy. I have to commend Director Gol Tong for what he has accomplished with this restaurant. It's a solo act, which I can only imagine is an incredible amount of work. It's remarkable that the quality is so consistent.

Chicken wings restaurant
Wing Ferno, located in Gardena, offers a variety of hot chicken sandwiches and an impressive selection of 15 wing flavors, excluding Nashville. Options include Jamaican jerk, sweet Thai chili, spicy Korean, mango habanero, lemon pepper and honey barbecue. The latter two are particularly popular choices among patrons. Despite initial reservations about the dry rub wings being dehydrated, they turned out to be surprisingly moist and flavorful.
Hands down my favorite and always go to spicy fried wings place! I've had every flavors after a few years of eating here. Still can't finish more than 2 bites of the Wing Ferno highest level of spiciness without dying. I love the customization of their online order with options like extra crispy, extra sauces on the wings, extra seasoning, etc. The sides are also delicious: my favorite is the garlic noodle. Their home made sauces to eat with the wings are also unique, delicious, and have a wide variety of flavors. I don't eat them with the wings because I think the wings are so well flavored and cooked because I customize them so I use the sauces with my salads. They've changed their wing flavors over time but the quality, the customizations, and level of spiciness remained consistently the best! It's pricier than the generic chains but totally worth it! It's not just wings, it's an experience. I brought like 100 of these in all the flavors and took it to a pot luck party one year and my friends had a blast challenging each other as I watched them cough, heave, stick out their tongues while fanning it, etc. I didn't bring milk... Intentionally because I'm a fun friend.

Definitely not worth it for me based on this experience. I placed my order for a specific pickup time based on my commute. My order was ready 30 minutes ahead of time. What I picked up was luke warm at best. Fries were cold. Wings were soggy/wet (ordered boneless so the batter heat no crunch) from sitting in their own warmth. Honey mustard and ranch were good.

THE BEST TENDERS AND AND NUGGETS IN TOWN !this place never fails the quality test always season to perfection! I’ve ordered online 3 separate times each time my door dash order was spectacular! Also I made a mistake on door dash called them and they fixed it and threw in extra ranch and 5 extra tenders This is my go to chicken spot ! Love the Ferno the Bone in wings are not Bad either but them strips are the star of the show !

My fave Chicken spot! Haven’t been able to eat wing Stop since I’ve had theirs. Your chicken is not swimming in Oil, and they season it to perfection. Their service can’t be beat. Always pleasant and never have attitudes over the phone or in person. Today had a slight mishap with my order and they went above and beyond to fix the issue with no hesitation.

Wow! If you are a wingnut like me, get yourself to this place! Try all the dried rub flavors first. You won’t regret it! Ask for crispy wings and light seasoning. My favorite is the Chipotle dried rub. Louisiana and the lemon pepper are the classic. Try the best wings in the South Bay!
Khoi M — Google review
I used to swear by how good and crispy the wings can be as well as how much/big they are for more bang for your buck. But when I ordered them today and brought it home, I thought at first I was imagining things but I'm pretty sure they downsized the wings. They're not as big as they used to be that it would have covered the amount of space around in the box itself! Even the amount of fries wasn't a lot. For $22 total I'd at least have a good amount of food. I already wish I could get my money back for this.

Good Italian food. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. You get free refills for soft drinks. It's a strange place as there are no windows but atmosphere was good. Portion sizes were quite generous. Overall a good quality restaurant. Recommended

Best wings in the South Bay, hands down. I go for the lemon pepper and mango habanero, and they never disappoint. The vibe is lively—sports on the TVs and cold beer on tap. Their pizza is also surprisingly good for a wing place. Great spot for a casual hangout with friends.

Pijja Palace is a unique restaurant and bar in Silver Lake that offers a blend of Indian and Italian cuisine in a laid-back, sports-bar-like setting. The menu features creative dishes such as homemade ice cream, lamb kebabs, fresh pasta, and chicken tandoori. Guests can enjoy watching their favorite games on large TV screens while savoring the flavorful fusion fare.
This place is worth every hype it deserves on every food recommendation, ever. This place did not disappoint me at all! First off, a welcoming host and server made the experience already a blast! Because the food here is so unique, my party had to share a few things to try out and wow, the taste was amazing! The onion rings were heavy but the sauce was such a good combo to it! It helped the dish less dry tasting! The sauce had a hint of spicy and sweet, perfect flavor! The Lamb and Shell pasta, excellent! Brilliant combination I would not expect to be so delicious to me! The lamb was also very juicy and tender, not like other places that make it dry and chewy. Every bite was well worth!!! Honestly wish I had enough appetite to order their pizza cause it was thin crusted!!! Guess it’ll mean I gotta come back again to try it out!!!
Nat A — Google review
Food didn’t live up to the hype but the service and vibes did. After hearing all the hype from friends and social media, I finally made my way to Pijja Palace for lunch. Obviously we had to try a little bit of everything so we got the Caesar salad, onion rings, cheese pizza with green chutney, and their saffron pasta. Our Caesar had nice crispy fresh lettuce but was a bit over dressed. We loved the toasted crunch over croutons- very creative. The batter on the onions was so thick it completely lost the flavor of the onion. With so much fried breading our mouths were left dry and we missed that classic onion ring crunch. The sweet sauce served with the rings was a nice touch though. The saffron pasta was interesting, love the shape of the pasta chosen but the sauce left me wanting. Finally, our best bite, the pizza. Thin crispy bar crust but a bright and zesty chutney sauce. This was the perfect collaboration of Indian bar food. Food aside, service was exceptional. Host, server, everyone was clearly in lock step. Something you’d expect of a high end restaurant, not a pizza bar. Would pick up a pie to go if I’m ever in the area, but otherwise not something I’m going to drive out of the way for.
Hayley N — Google review
Pijja Palace has a fun concept, blending Indian flavors with classic American bar food, but the execution was hit-or-miss for me. What to try: • Definitely go for the pizza — we made our own and it was the highlight of the meal. • The chicken wings were surprisingly solid. • The malai pasta had an interesting flavor, though a bit heavy. What to skip: • Onion rings — the batter was way too thick and took away from the onion itself. Overall thoughts: Everything was extremely oily. I know mixing Indian flavors with bar food isn’t easy, but I wasn’t expecting plates to be literally drenched in oil. The heaviness took away from the flavors. That said, the drinks were excellent — creative, refreshing, and well-balanced. Would I return? Probably not. But if I did, it would be just for the pizza and that tulsi- rose lemonade.

A favorite spot of mine whenever I was able to make it out to Silverlake! My husband is of Italian descent and I am of Indian descent so this was such a special place for us. The Indian fusion is incredibly unique as is the atmosphere of the restaurant. The Malai Rigatoni is a no brainer and make sure you leave room at the end for the Cookies & Cardamom ice cream!

Finally made it here. Friendly staff and nice modern interiors. Food is, different. A for effort. The fries were good and the wings too, but the pizza and pasta were just OK. Then I remembered this is billed as a sports bar.

We have been wanting to go pijja palace for a while now and I’m so glad that we did! More of a sports bar vibe on the inside which was perfect for us after hangout around town with friends all day, working up an appetite. I think we pretty much ordered one of everything lol. But the stand out dishes for us were the malai rigatoni and the green chile chutney pijja. Amazing and unique flavors! Be prepared to sweat a little, all of the dishes pack a little spice, but thankfully they have delicious soft serve desserts to cool down afterwards! Wait staff was great walking us through the menu. Would definitely go back again!

Hearing tons of great reviews about the foods, I was super excited for my dinner in Pijja Palace. It's not the hardest getting reservations even on weekend to my surprise, but when arriving at the venue it looked extremely busy with long waiting line. We arrived too early but needed to wait until closer to our reservation time as the place was packed. It's super fun dining experience as it really gave that sports bar vibes with multiple screens showing different stuffs mostly matches to watch. The website menu I checked earlier was apparently pretty outdated since prices have been way higher and some menus have changed. Starting with their pijja/pizza as obviously that's what they're known of. Following the recommendation from our server, ordered their Tikka Masala Pizza, which was extremely flavorful and you could taste rich mix of seasonings. It featured right balance of cheese and the meat toppings surely complemented the overall taste. They did come with crispy thin crust, well suited my liking. Another one not to miss was their Malai Rigatoni, which seemed to get nothing but perfect reviews by tons of people. First spoon and I could definitely see why almost all guests had this on their tables (YEP. Testifying it!). It was AMAZING. PERIOD. Pasta was al dente, tomato masala and cream sauce was extremely flavorful. You literally felt like you wanted to lick the plate clean! I would recommend sharing as it's pretty heavy.

Exciting, delicious Indian fusion. I could go back time and again to try all the possible build your own pizza combos. The combination of classic Indian flavors--cardamom, tandoor, tikka, dosa,more--wity pizza, pasta, and cocktails is brilliantly conceived and mouthwatering in the execution. Loved the onion rings. Casual vibe with bar seating and sports on many TVs. Good tap selection too. Conscientious service, incredibly fast food prep. Can't wait to go back.

Asian fusion restaurant

Yang's Kitchen is a trendy Chinese-fusion noodle shop that offers organic and vegetarian options in a bright and spacious setting. Run by first-generation Asian American chefs, Christian Yang and Maggie Hos, the restaurant is known for its diverse daytime menu featuring breakfast platters, Japanese-inspired morning meals, and lunch plates like lemony fried chicken wings. However, their dinner service has been the focus of creatively charged ideas lately.
Tried their brunch for the first time, and it will certainly not be the last time. We ordered a cornmeal mochi pancake, David's arroz caldo, and the breakfast plate. I was worried the pancake would be grainy, and while you can taste the cornmeal, it was good. My friend aptly pointed out the texture was similar to Ethiopian injera so it was light. The highlight though was the persimmon jam on top. The arroz caldo is (Filipino) congee, and it hit the spot, warm and soothing. For the breakfast plate, we went with (hangar) steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy. That brick of hashed browns was crispy and light, which made us wonder if it was perhaps potatoes and jicama. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but there was a wait when we were almost done. The service was overall good. They definitely rushed us at the end to free up the table but not to the point of being rude, so I still give them 5 stars on service. The seating isn't the most comfortable, and the tables felt a bit too close to other diners, but this isn't enough to keep me away from the amazing food.

Creative and fun dishes. Enjoyed the flavor and texture combinations. Tried their salmon tartare on the crispy rice cracker, and their cabbage wedge topped with a savory anchovy topping. Appreciated the East meets West integrations. Server let me sample their wine collab, but I opted for their mystery wine glass offering instead which ended up pairing better with my meal. Happy to have this unique restaurant that represents the best of my SGV.

I recently visited this fusion Asian-inspired restaurant that seems to be THE hot spot in town even on a weekday, the place was packed. A reservation is a must, and they do have a $10 per person fee if you cancel or don’t show, so definitely plan ahead. One thing I wish I had known beforehand is that when making a reservation, you need to indicate whether you want a table or counter seating. We didn’t realize this, so we were seated at the counter. Since I’m in my third trimester, a backless barstool was not ideal for a full meal. Fortunately, the team offered me a regular chair, but it wasn’t the most comfortable setup, which made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was fresh and flavorful, with a clear emphasis on seasonal ingredients sourced from local vendors. My husband especially enjoyed their beer and collar. I appreciated the quality of the dishes, but I’ll be honest while good, they didn’t feel particularly special compared to other spots in a similar price range. The standout for us was dessert. Their vanilla and melon sorbet swirl was absolutely delicious. Light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I’d honestly go back just for that. The atmosphere is casual, yet the pricing leans toward the higher end, which may not suit everyone. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual night out with good service, fresh ingredients, and a dessert worth returning for. Also I heard good things about their brunch menu, so I do want to comeback for their brunch menu since my review was based on their dinner menu.

Interesting concept of Taiwanese fusion food. It’s like a tasting menu/shareable foods that you get with a modern twist. The food was really good. We got the dan dan noodles that were pretty delicious. I also recommend getting the Yang‘s fried chicken wings. That was really good. The service is really great as well very kind and friendly. The food came out pretty quick. The vibe and ambience is a little upscale and nice a little on the pricier side, but well worth the deal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some Taiwanese fusion with a modern twist.

The service and atmosphere is great. But when they used the word Asian fusion, I knew it is more like “American” Asia food. The food is all pretty bad and way overpriced! 1) the fried chicken $19 for 5 pieces, the chicken were dried and doesn’t have any taste? They have some salt and lemon aside but it is pretty much bland without it. 2) the fish collar, was undercook the server are nice enough to asked if we like it redone but we are almost done so we didn’t have them redo it. They removed it from the bill. It was not too flavorful as well… 3) the fish with hanian chicken rice. Recreate from the famous hanian chicken, the rice is pretty good and pretty authentic. But the fish…. I’m not sure how to describe it. It is again, tasteless and dried……. 4) duck leg with taro mash. Interesting dish but these two flavor doesn’t taste good together. The duck leg was fried the same way as the fried chicken. The taro mash is fine but is not worth $40. Overall I would say the service is good and attentive. But I wouldn’t be back for sure. The presentation of food, taste and price point is below average in my standard.

Pizza restaurant
Brooklyn Ave Pizza Co. is a new pizzeria and sports bar in Boyle Heights that offers a unique menu inspired by pizzaiolo Jorge Sandoval's Latino heritage. The wood-fired pizzas include options like tangy mole with mozzarella and Oaxacan cheese, as well as traditional choices like The O.G. and La Bianca.
Great spot for New York style pizza. They have classic pizza combos and some creative ones. We liked that they have agua frescas here. The guava-jamaica was our favorite. We started with the caprese salad and chorizo gravy papas (thick fries). We didn’t know that the salad would be served with flatbread but it was delicious! The papas were seasoned with a cajun seasoning and paired nicely with the toppings. The portions of these were great! We got a classic margherita pizza and their July special that comes with pastrami, honey mustard, pickled onions and cheese. Both were delicious, but we liked the July special one more as it was different than what we normally get at pizza spots. Ended off the meal with creme brûlée and we were super stuffed at the end of the meal. We took home half of each pizza so we had lunch for the next day. Parking in the area is a bit difficult but worth it for the food here. Can’t wait to come back to try some of their other monthly specials.

Came to try out the mole pizza and it was soooo good. Im not a.fan of onions but this paired good with the purple onions. I would have hoped the mole sauce would cover more of the surface and less crust. The mole is the star not the crust. The second pizza we got was the shrimp one and it was also good but the mole one was the best. The hot cheetos Buffalo wings was super good I didn't expect that but definitely will order again. Alcoholic beverages are a definite. Will be back soon.

Horrible dining experience. We went on our lunch break- group of 8. Had reservations at 12. We were the only people there. A smaller group left after waiting too long to be acknowledged. The waiter had absolutely 0 customer service skills. He took a while to take our order. We got there at 12. Based on the receipt he took our order at 12:26. He didnt bring us water until 12:34pm, which he left on the side of the table for us to serve ourselves- nothing said. No ice, even though we asked for ice water. The whole time we were there he was busy stocking shelves. We ordered pizza, wings, salad which all sat on the counter for about 15 minutes min. He brought everything at once (at 12:48) and just laid it out, not asking whose was what. Left us there wondering what went to whom. The food was not hot which in my opinion took away from the taste. He totally missed a drink order and never brought any water refills. He never once checked in on us. Never cleared the table despite sitting there well after we were finished eating. We had to get up to get our own boxes and to ask foe the check. He brought over the pay machine and didnt bother giving us a receipt until we asked for it. The icing on the cake, he had already charged 18% for tip. Completely undeserved. Worst experience of my life. I will not be returning.

Ordered veggie pizza, their guava and Jamaica drink, fries are bomb, and their wings. I really enjoyed the veggie pizza and their fires the best, and the drink was pretty and refreshing. Loved the atmosphere inside. Takes you out of the element of East LA when you step inside. I would come back. I enjoyed the Buffalo wings, too. I'd definitely go back for the pizza, fries, and drink.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Brooklyn Pizza, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. When I walked in, I wasn't sure whether to wait to be seated or just grab a table. I asked, and was told it's open seating—but after that, we were left waiting quite a while before anyone brought us menus or acknowledged us at all. No one checked in during the meal to see if we needed anything, which felt like a missed opportunity to make the experience more welcoming. The food may have been good, but the lack of attention made it hard to fully enjoy. I hope they improve their service, because with just a bit more care toward their guests, this could be a much better spot.

Yangban is a popular spot with a great vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends. It's advisable to make reservations due to its quick crowding. The menu changes seasonally, offering creative and delicious Korean fusion dishes. While some miss previous items like chilled acorn noodles, the current offerings are still impressive. Vegetarians have plenty of options, and every dish ordered is visually stunning and flavorful.
Playfulness and expression are evident across much of the menu in this cool and vibey space. After ordering at least a third of the menu, it was hard to pick a favorite because everything was just so good. Cocktails are excellent and they even stick the landing with an excellent cup of coffee. An easy five star experience.

One of the best meals I’ve had in LA. The prix fixe for $95 was well worth the money, very high quality ingredients and beautiful plating, but best of all, it was a ton of food! Definitely come hungry. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and they gave us a small glass of champagne to celebrate, which was a nice touch. And the vibes!!! I came here once before they redid the space (which reminded me more of a deli/ cafe/ cafeteria), but they’ve managed to transform it into a hip, contemporary, sexy spot that makes you feel like an A-lister. The only minor criticisms I have is that we were seated at a smaller table, and while I assumed the booths were for parties over 2 people, two couples were seated in booths immediately after us, so it would have been nice to have a booth since it was a special occasion. Service could have been slightly more attentive, as we did have to ask for our server to order another drink, but overall wasn’t bad. Everyone was really professional and friendly.

Yangban in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles offers an amazing Korean-American dining experience, especially for large groups like that of what we have as a family of 8. We had the pre-fixed dinner option offered to our group that clearly showcased the restaurant’s ability to deliver a diverse and impressive array of dishes. While I didn’t know all the names of the dishes, it’s evident that the quality and presentation were all amazing! The seamless transition from appetizers to desserts speaks to the kitchen’s ability to maintain a high standard throughout the meal. The cocktails complementing our meal were also very good, which suggests a well-curated drink menu that pairs well with the food. The modern decor of Yangban complements the eclectic vibe of the Arts District. The clean lines and contemporary design provide a stylish backdrop that is both inviting and refined, setting a sophisticated tone for the evening. The service stood out as a highlight of the evening. Handling a party of eight can be challenging, but the server ( I apologize for not remembering his name) managed it with ease and professionalism. This level of attentive and seamless service is crucial for maintaining a pleasant dining experience for larger groups. The valet service is a practical touch, especially given the difficulty of finding street parking in the area. This convenience adds to the overall positive experience, allowing guests to focus on their dining rather than parking woes. Overall Impression: Yangban excels in providing a refined and enjoyable dining experience. The combination of modern decor, exceptional service, and a well-executed menu ensures that it stands out in the vibrant culinary scene of downtown Los Angeles. For large groups, the pre-fixed menu is a smart choice that allows everyone to experience a range of flavors without the hassle of ordering individually.

So excited to write this review because we had the best experience here, I cannot even explain how delicious was the food, for sure go for the prefix menu, you should trust the chef and order the prefix menu. I still craving some of those side dishes. The interior was so nice, beautiful ambience, food was perfect. The staff were so nice, everything was excellent, I should say, I had the best delicious cheesecake ever, I still craving that cheesecake and I would definitely go back to this restaurant and I already told a lot of friends about this beautiful, modern Korean restaurant!

All the appetizers are so good. Their textures and flavors are unique and impeccable. Their Tteok is also very good. I honestly would get it in my next visit. Super savory (love the mushroom, truffle cream base) While everyone talks about their wings, I personally find it on par with all the great Korean fried chicken in K-town (juicy and dipped in sweet soy sauce)

Our experience at Yangban was beyond great. There is plenty for vegetarians to choose from and everything we ordered was gorgeous to look at and tasted fantastic. Not a disappointing dish from the 5 we selected! These included the Tteok, a dumpling-like affair with lots of good flavors, including corn. Plus, from the Banchan menu, we ordered the Brokaw Avocado & Shinko Pear dish which was, by far, the most interesting and satisfying pear-based dish I've eaten. Also, the Pea Shoots and Chives were a beautiful tower of green freshness in our mouths. And, although I'm not necessarily a huge sweet potato fan, the Goguma dish was fantastic! For dessert, we tried the Yangban "The Works" ice cream dish. We could have used more of the doenjang caramel it came with but it tasted great otherwise. The service was great too. The food came out quickly. Our server was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and gave us good and detailed recommendations. We'd come back and eat here again. This is definitely a unique, destination restaurant in LA.

Atmosphere was very nice. Helpful waiters in ordering signature drinks and dishes. It's a Asian twist on both the husband and wife's upbringings, Husband is Korean, raised Korean, wife is also Korean, but adopted by a white Jewish family. Amazing flair and style of tapa plates. It's quite pricey, so be prepared to spend some money. Had the honor to meet both of them in their environment, the kitchen. Good people who love what they do to make tasty food. It's location is in the older part of downtown that has had some clean up done to make room for upcoming business and restaurants.

If you're on the hunt for mouthwatering chicken dishes, look no further than Bird Box! From BBQ to spicy hot flavors, every bite promises juicy tenderness and crispy perfection. But that's not all—Bird Box also serves up Jumbo Tenders and delicious Chicken Sandwiches that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
Best wings in Burbank honest opinion! Very clean restaurant, customer service was top notch and the jumbo hot wings are always hot and delicious. I tried this place for the first time today, and the experience was mediocre. I ordered the jumbo wings, which comes with 3 flavors (dip costs extra). For the flavors (there are many) I chose Korean BBQ, Jamaican Jerk, and Original Hot. First of all, the wings I received were not jumbo as they claim. Wing Stop has bigger wings than this place and they are cheaper. Look at the uploaded images. The jerk flavor was a dry rub that was meh at best. Original hot was not bad. Spicy, with good flavor. The Korean BBQ was okay. It tasted like teriyaki with chili added. No favorites from this order. The wings were cooked... fine. Had some good crunch to them, but i don't see myself trying this place again. For the price you're paying, you're not getting much. Stick to Wing Stop if you want wings.

Visitors can also indulge in delectable desserts such as coconut cake with durian topping and sticky rice. This place is so dope. Live music with great tasting food. Good place to eat with family and friends. They are out there every Friday-Sunday 5pm -11pm. There is a live DJ and Fridays is EDM night. I love me some EDM. So man great vendors there. They have some awesome drinks also. Go early so you can get your food and sit before it gets crowded. Great organizers.

Thankful to my co-worker who invited me to check this place out. It was less than 5 miles from work. Street parking was not an issue, after all it was after 10 pm. Some of the stalls were getting ready to close down, others ran out of noodles. We were lucky we found a stall still cooking Pad Thai. There was a booth selling pork and chicken barbecue skewers for 8 sticks/$10. I got the coconut cake durian topping with sticky rice for dessert. Pieces of yummy fresh durian on sweet sticky rice. It was definitely the highlight of my meal. I have to visit the Tanghulu stall next time.

Great food, fun entertainment, amazing vendors. It's always a treat to come. Only downside is that Parking is $20 on site, cash only. But standard for L.A. unless you find street parking.

Perfect... tell a friend. After 2 weeks on the road with my wife and 3 kids, having a home cooked meal is really something special. Kids were quite, wife was happy, food is spectacular... what else could you ask for. Do yourself a favor... pick something, anything on the menu and order it. You will not be disappointed.

What a vibe! Food is excellent. I ordered the jerky chicken enchiladas and the banana coconut pudding and I’ll def come back for them again. The Mexican server man (corlano?) who brought the food out to me was so friendly and warm. This place is a hidden secret that people should know about 10/10

This place is incredible. Do not come to La without eating here. I highly recommend the mole and the coconut chicken. The juices are delicious. Ricardo and his family are top notch and will take care of you. Make sure to say hello to them and let them know that you were highly recommended to eat here.

Great for a fast and flavorful lunch. The cha cha chicken was really good, but unfortunately the salmon was overcooked. The place is super cute !

First time. This is an excellent Jamaica casual cafe. Dishes include jerk dishes chicken, shrimp and salmon and a wide menu. Parking consists of meter street parking and free establishment parking. Nice helpful staff that take your order at a window gives out number that results in food service at the table . I ordered jerk chicken and the chicken melted on the fork, the Jamaica rice was delicious and the grilled banana finished a perfect dish. Restaurant gets my recommendation because the place has been here for a long time with excellent word of mouth .It is charming! Delicious food!

Ayara Thai is a cozy, contemporary Thai restaurant that prides itself on using locally grown herbs to create traditional stir-fry, curry, and noodle dishes. The family-owned establishment in Westchester has gained popularity for its authentic Thai classics like khao soi and pad woon sen. One of their standout dishes is the muay thai wings, which are marinated to perfection and served with a unique housemade BBQ sauce that elevates the flavors.
Lunch service is to-go/patio dining only. The food is worth the breezy patio-table experience though! I’ve gotten the pad see ew every time, and often the lunch kit with the “when tigers cry” beef appetizer/small plate to start. Perfect name! 😂 Pro tip: order ahead online for lunch and it’ll be ready when you arrive. Most things take about 15 minutes to come out.
Field P — Google review
Fast and good service. The food was alright. We ordered 2 Pad Thai, and 1 Thai fried rice, but for some reason both the pad Thai taste different. They’re not the same flavor so it’s probably 2 different chiefs who cooked. I was glad mine tasted better than my man. However, it’s not necessarily the best either.
Hnub C — Google review
Came here during 2 pm found out that before 5 pm is for only for take out or patio dining. I ordered Spicy Basil Fried rice with medium spicy level that taste is good but if you eat spicy I would say medium level is nothing lol. They also gave condiments. Staff is polite. There is parking lot nearby.

This is hands down the best Thai spot on the westside! I ordered catering for my office and was very pleased with the set-up, presentation and care of how the food was left. Everything carefully labeled and fluffed, spices ready to be added. The employees just had to follow their noses into the kitchen. Everyone was talking about how tasty it was the rest of the day.

I’ve been coming here for 12 years and it is, for the most part, one of the few restaurants in LA that have maintained the same excellent quality they had prior to the pandemic. You can’t go wrong with their pad thai. We also love the broccoli and cauliflower as a side. Prices are a bit higher than other Thai in the area but it is worth it. Portions for pad Thai are MASSIVE. One note from my most recent time this week is the pad Thai was quite oily, which has never been a taste profile I’ve had in this dish before here.

Smashburger is a fast-casual chain known for its signature smashed burgers, along with a variety of sides and shakes. The restaurant offers a chill and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a smooth ordering process. Customers praise the juicy and delicious vegetarian burger as well as the flavorful cheeseburgers. While slightly more expensive in certain locations, like LA Live/LA Convention Center, the food is described as fantastic, especially the heavenly burgers. Visitors also appreciate the quick service at this location.
Definitely a great burger. I got the bacon smashed at about 9:30 and on a Saturday night. It was perfect. I had to leave this review… at this time they had a 3.8 and that’s definitely not correct they’re definitely 4.5 +++ I would eat here again anytime any day! Definitely will not disappoint. Price is decent too. Great Value!
Cory P — Google review
My first time ever visiting a Smashburger and it lived up to the hype. I put in a mobile order to go. It was made fast, and the employees were friendly (can be rare in L.A.). The place was very clean inside also. But most importantly the burgers were AMAZING. This was made fast but it isn't "fast food" quality. Its more like a sit down restaurant burger. It's ugly and juicy and "old school" style. Pure delicious. Oh the prices are amazing too. You could easily spend this much at a fast food joint and get way lower quality. The fries are amazing and compliment it perfectly. You gotta go here at least once.

Was there for the Clippers game and been wanting to try their burgers. Definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the single smashburger with tots. My buddy ordered sweet potato fries and garlic tots. Burger was flavorful and the fries/tots were all good. The garlic tots were the only item that was just, meh. Just a heads up, they don't have a public restroom.

My roommate was craving some burgers and this place came up. Although the restaurant is located inside a seemingly fancy hotel, it has a very chill and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful and the ordering process is smooth. Now to the food. Even though I ordered the vegetarian burger, it was juicy and extremely delicious. The sweet potato fries were also amazing. Three of my other family members ordered the cheeseburger and each one of them found it to be flavorful and tasty. The last of my family members ordered a grilled cheese which was also wonderful. Honestly amazing burgers with an amazing atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Located in Hollywood, Bludso's BBQ is a popular Texas-style barbecue joint with a sit-down outpost that offers classic meats and sides along with creative cocktails. The original walk-up stand may no longer be open, but the La Brea location opened in 2013 and features a bar, ample indoor seating, TVs for live sports streaming, and a patio. A Santa Monica outpost is also on the way. The meats are smoked low and slow for 14 hours in true Texas fashion.
06/15/2025 I've always wanted to come here when I was working around the area but I was always busy so I celebrated fathers' day here, I ordered the brisket and the pork ribs with potato salad, corm bread, and mac and cheese on the side. The brisket was ridiculously delicious, it was tender, juicy, and the meat and fat just melts in your mouth. The corn bread was great too. Cesar and Kimmie were kind and helpful. I paid $66.94 plus tip. It was a total of $80 but it was worth it.

If you go, bring an appetite because they don’t play!!! The Dino Beef Ribs are so very tender while the brisket is the best I’ve ever had. The TX Red Hot is made from the brisket!!!! Where they do that at…HERE! The cornbread, the Mac & cheese, the greens…just go in there hungry.

If you’re craving true Texas-style barbecue in Los Angeles, Bludso’s BBQ is the real deal. From the moment you walk in, the smoky aroma lets you know you’re in for something special. The brisket is the star — tender, juicy, and perfectly smoked with that melt-in-your-mouth bark. The ribs are just as impressive: flavorful, fall-off-the-bone, and coated with the perfect balance of seasoning and sauce. The mac and cheese is creamy and rich, the collard greens bring that soulful Southern touch, and the baked beans are packed with smoky sweetness. The service was very friendly and lively. I definitely would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s craving Texas style bbq.

Love the ability to get a beef rib and Bludso's came through. Got the big bone in beef rib, hush puppies mac and cheese and those brisket baked beans. I ate the hush puppies on the way home being a real big back.. they were so good. The cheese and mac is rich and flavoful best i have had in a while. Beans were god just a little soupy for me i like more bean ratio to liquid. That beef rib just picked it and dipped it in their sauce. Just a nice bbq beef rib that you can graze on for days. Definitely recommend this place!

The food here is absolutely 🔥—delicious, flavorful, and worth coming back for. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the kitchen. I’ll likely return for takeout, but I hope the staff receives better training in customer service. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted within a reasonable time, and once our server finally approached, he barely acknowledged us. He didn’t offer any help with the menu, didn’t make recommendations, and gave off the vibe that we were inconveniencing him just by being there. We came to celebrate Juneteenth and enjoy a great meal, but the lackluster service took away from the experience. With a team that matched the energy of the food, this place is unbeatable. I watch all of your shows and drove quite a few hours to get to this location today. I’m so happy the food was good! But please don’t limit good service to everyone, were had a great holiday and just wanted to end it with some good bbq.

Came here for the hype. Left pretty full but not really. $100 for two people. Server ignored us and the meat came out a bit cold. But my wife was happy so I’m happy. Got the seasoned fries and didn’t realize they put sugar in their fries. Crazy.

The restaurant is located on the west side of the street. There are parking meters in front of the restaurant and NORTH and SOUTH of the restaurant on La Brea Ave. The service was outstanding. Mohawk Bend is a popular spot in Echo Park, California, offering a diverse menu of locally sourced American dishes with a focus on vegan options. The restaurant's brick-walled space provides a cozy atmosphere to enjoy their giant, thin-crust pizzas that have become a staple for many visitors. While the menu is entirely vegan or can be made vegan, there are also non-vegan options available.
My favorite pizza lives here. Ugh, I am willing to drive even more than an hour through la traffic for the food, specifically to get the potato pizza and the buffalo cauliflower 😋 The ambiance is so chill, the servers are welcoming, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu. They have a lot of vegan or vegetarian options, and vegan is a plus because I can't have dairy. The drinks are flavorful and refreshing. They even have non-alcoholic options. They have the coolest old-school photobooth, and you can even rent a room for a private party. Also dog friendly, so that's a super plus for me too.

Nice local gastropub. It's on Sunset Blvd, which can make parking a challenge. It's a nice casual gastropub w outdoor sitting. They are fur baby friendly, which is a definite plus. The menu has vegan and non vegan options. I ordered the following items: -Angry Vegan Pizza: Really like the thin crunchy crust. It's not as spicy as I thought it would be. Then again, I was told my threshold for spice is crazy high. -Pickled veggies: Refreshing on a hot day. Nicely pickled -Coconut shrimp: It was meh...nothing memorable. Had better. -Cesear Salad w veggie chicken: It was pretty decent, but nothing I would come back for again.

This is my favorite place in town for Buffalo Cauliflower wings- it’s the vegan blue cheese dressing that got me! They’re not too spicy either. Their happy hour menu includes lots of vegan options, including an impossible burger which is delicious. The chili cheese fries is a huge portion- good for sharing.

Great Ambience. I recommend baked potato pizza, crab cake and buffalo cauliflower. Angry vegan pizza was extremely spicy- if your crazed up and want to go extreme ! You can try Angry vegan Pizza. I guess you can alter the spice I dint ask the waiter neither the waiter advised. I dint know if i could alter the spice level but yeah! Damn crazy spicy it was. Nickel bag of churro was piping hot . Will try vegan chocolate pudding next time. Great place to hang out with friends and family.

Beers and babies? And great service? Yes! They offered a great selection of beer and have offered Pliny the Younger the past few years! Sat at the bar for happy hour. If you want a spot at the bar, get there before they open and line up. It's worth it! Fantastic service with the friendliest staff I've encountered at a restaurant in LA. They all seemed to honestly be enjoying their work, and it showed. Even though I live very close by, I stopped in for my first time last night for dinner and had a great experience. It’s a really delicious, casual, and unique steakhouse in Northern Venice. Parking in the area is fairly easy, we were able to find a metered spot directly in front of the restaurant otherwise other street parking is not that hard to find. Inside is quite large complete with a full bar and TV that was playing college football during our visit and a medium sized dining area with mostly half booths and tables. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered arrived very fast. I’d like to point out how delicious their house vinegar is that sits on the table. It’s inside the Maker’s Mark bottle and they use many different spices to create their own vinegar. It honestly goes great with the meat and veggies. We started off with the Beef Tartare and really loved it. It was well balanced and had a bit of spice to it and overall it was a real hit at the table. We also ordered a seasonal salad, which was the Heirloom Tomato Salad, and thought it was absolutely fantastic. The heirloom tomatoes were fresh, and it came with a lot of onions soaked in vinaigrette, which is an amazing combo for me. For our entrées, we chose the 10 ounce Prime Skirt Steak based on our waiter’s recommendation and the seasonal Tagliatelle. The steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy for every single bite. It was also a good size portion with no fat on it, which means the meat is high quality. The pasta was pretty large in size and great in flavor. It was really well balanced with the ingredients and it made some great leftovers. We wanted to try a dessert but after our meal, we were pretty full, but I plan to be back again in the near future to try more items. I would highly recommend to anyone searching for a great steakhouse or for a great Venice dinner.

Meat and fire … the absolute perfect combination. It must appeal to the primal instinct in all of us, and there’s just something that speaks to my soul when I see a well cooked piece of meat over the flame. And boy do they know what they’re doing over at @charcoalrestaurants But it’s not just the meat that is well prepared. We started off with some amazing sourdough and butter, followed by the charred cabbage. Man was that an amazing dish, I was bummed that I had to share it with the table. Solid old fashioned which always goes well with smoked and charred foods. The main show: gigantic piece of meat that we shared amongst 4 of us with all the sides. The steak itself was perfectly cooked and had the right marbling and char to make it amazing. The sides were all great, I loved the broccolini and the mushrooms, and the carrots were glazed and caramelised and so so tasty. A great vibe in the restaurant, and wonderful service, who could ask for anything more! Run, don’t walk to Charcoal!

Literally minds blown… the Bison Ribeye will absolutely take you to another planet. I will be back to try more, but will never NOT order the Bison Ribeye. The lamb ribs are an adventure I will continue to crave and wish upon my closest friends. The carrots and mushrooms are incredible. Don’t order the Cherry Parfait unless you’re ready for a seriously deep spiritual experience. Sara our server was the epitome of amazing and empowered even more awe in our evening. When a server cares and invests their attention and presence like Sara does it’s almost as though they’re in the meal with you. All around one of the most profound dining experiences of our lives. Thank you Charcoal! True true.

A good variety of food options, including steak and seafood. I had the oysters, salad, and smoked salmon—each prepared to perfection. The only downside was the long wait between the appetizer and main course, which took around 45 minutes. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The restaurant is also great for group parties.

Coming from Europe, we know good food! This was exceptional. Our waitress, Sarah, was knowledgable and helpful without being over bearing. Seated right away which was a promising start. Then came the news: happy hour is “bar only,” and no, you can’t walk 15 feet to get your own drink. The bar sounded like a frat party on dollar shot night, so maybe that was a blessing. Drinks took 30+ minutes, dinner limped along for 3 hours, and one entrée was canceled 90 minutes in like a bad blind date. The whole place felt like they were trying to host a wine-paired tasting menu in the middle of a kegger. Food was good, but not $100-a-head good. Oh, and the bathroom? Protected by a dangling curtain of beads which was like fighting your way into a tiki speakeasy. Bring your upper body strength.

Stopped by here for a quick drink while waiting for the rest of my party to show up for a bike ride next door. The service was quick and pleasant. It was about 11am and fairly empty. There a wide variety of beers on tap and on rotation here from what I see. I ended up ordering a beer on the recommendation from the bartender. There is also a full bar, plus food is served as well (although I did not put in an order). Other patrons at the bar were playing connect 4, so they seem to be local homey feel here. From what I remember 3 TV's adorn the walls along with the local sports regalia. Seems to be a good place to be for any type of sporting events. Parking is in either along the street (highly unlikely that a spot would be open) or inside the adjacent parking structure. Although my stop here was quick I wouldn't mind coming back here to have a drink while I'm in town.

Dive-y gastropub with happy hour specials on weekdays, including all day Wing Wednesdays. West 4th has a special place in my heart only because I really like gnawing on these wings. The buffalo is solid, but the mango habanero is the best one in my opinion (assuming you do like spicy food). Otherwise, the BBQ is sweet and the crispness of the skin contrasts very nicely against the tenderness of the meat. I do also like the spinach artichoke dip quite a bit, and the tortilla chips are housemade, so they’re quite fresh. The pretzel is only worth it during happy hour and the sausage plate isn’t as large as you’d think, so order a couple plates if you’re getting it. There’s a lot of beer options and some wine options as well. The bartenders are super knowledgeable about the beers and can make good recommendations. There’s a second story level that would be more ideal for a bigger group to congregate, and there’s some games there too. Otherwise there’s booths and high tables, and the servers roam around to help out. You could also sit at the bar and just chill while watching a sports game on the multiple TVs. Bathrooms are in the second level and it’s a single room. No free WiFi and street parking is hard, so I suggest parking in a city lot for the first 90 min for free. It’s a quick walk from the metro as it’s only like a block away from the Downtown Santa Monica station. Overall it’s a laid back spot to eat some good food and have a vast array of beer options.

Not a bad joint at all. Went in while waiting for bikes - I didn't realize tater tots could be that good! Huge beer menu, friendly waitress and staff. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Bone Kettle is a trendy restaurant located in Old Pasadena, offering a unique dining experience centered around Indonesian cuisine and slow-cooked bone broth. Chef Erwin Tjahyadi, with his background in fine dining and Southeast Asian influences, has curated a diverse menu featuring shareable appetizers, complete rice plate lunches, and noodle soups made with the restaurant's signature 36-hour simmered bone broths.
Came here for brunch/lunch with a friend. It was my first time visiting, and will definitely be back. The Eggs Benedict plate was one of the best I've ever had (maybe the best - and I would know - eggs benny is one of my fav meals👌)! My friend had the fried shrimp and loco moco.. both also perfection. The drinks and service were also wonderful and kind. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside, but the interier looked nice and modern. Thank you for the great food, and kind, and patient service.

Bone Kettle: A Flavor-Packed Gem in Pasadena From the moment we stepped into Bone Kettle, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance, sleek, modern, and warm with attentive staff who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. But let’s talk about the food. The star of the show? Their legendary broth slow-simmered for 36 hours, rich, silky, and layered with flavor. Every spoonful feels like a masterclass in depth and technique. Every dish is beautifully plated and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing Southeast Asian flavors with a refined twist. The appetizers are equally impressive, and the craft cocktails hold their own alongside the bold cuisine. Prices are fair for the quality, and portions are satisfying without overwhelming. You can tell the team here takes real pride in their work. Bone Kettle isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. Highly recommend for date nights, foodies, or anyone who wants to taste something extraordinary in the heart of Pasadena.

It's been a while since I've been here, but I recently came for the Lao New Year Pop-up event, and do NOT regret it! Food was AWESOME! Sure, it's from the regular menu items, and from what I remember, that was still good! Definitely worth taking your date here regardless!

The food was made well but nothing jumped out as amazing. The broth is what they are known for and it lives up to the 36hrs of work they put into it. The garlic prawns were a great share plate. The lunch combo was worth its price.

Good food and excellent service! The fusion of Asian flavor and traditional western flare was blended nicely. My Pistachio latte was delicious and I was hoping for latte art bc that’s the norm now. lol Street or structure parking Bill incl a 20% service fee which is not a tip.

Food wasn’t bad, I came in for LA Dine in. I got the beet salad that was pretty good and the chicken wings. Then we got the brisket broth that was good I only like the broth, the noodles were strange like it was from a package. I didn’t try the sandwich it looks greasy so I brought it home.
Yen B — Google review
They automatically add a 20% service fee (you can ask to remove it, but there’s no other way to tip—this replaces a traditional tip). The food was solid: we had the beet salad, drunken noodles, and fried rice, all worth ordering. Don’t skip the yuzu lemonade; it’s excellent.

We had a wonderful experience at Bone Kettle for our family dinner! We booked a semi-private space for 18 adults and 5 little ones (all under 3), and from start to finish the staff went above and beyond. With so many kids, it took a while to get everyone settled, but the team never rushed us—they gave us plenty of time before the food started coming out, which was a huge relief. Even as the restaurant got busier later in the evening, we always felt like our group was being taken care of. The fun music in the background even had our toddlers dancing, which made for a joyful atmosphere. The planning process was simple and efficient thanks to Thea, who helped us customize a menu perfectly suited to our group. Bone Kettle provides sample menus, but we loved how flexible they were in letting us mix and match dishes from their regular menu. Everything came out smoothly, right on time, and most importantly—it was all delicious! The small plates and appetizers were true standouts. I also really appreciated the transparency: for large parties there’s a 20% service fee, but the food prices were exactly the same as the regular menu (no hidden markups). At the end of the night I wanted to leave an additional tip for how wonderfully they handled our big group, but the servers and manager kindly declined. That gesture alone spoke volumes about their integrity and hospitality. All in all, Bone Kettle gave us an unforgettable evening—delicious food, amazing service, and a welcoming environment that made our whole family (including the kids) feel at home. Highly recommend for larger gatherings!

Phoenix Inn Chinese Cuisine in Los Angeles is a long-standing restaurant that offers an extensive menu of Chinese meat, seafood, and vegetable dishes. Despite being located in the suburbs of the Midwest, it surprises diners with authentic Sichuan flavors. The restaurant is known for its generous portion sizes and affordable prices. Some recommended dishes include garlic and shrimp fried rice and Chinese sausage fried rice. The attentive service includes complimentary tea refills, making it a great place to dine with a group.
This restaurant is very affordable, every dish looks big and is packed with great flavors. If you come to this place with a group, there is a mandatory tip so don't get surprised by that (it will be included in your check). I got various items from the menu, some of the highlights were the garlic and shrimp fried rice and the Chinese sausage fried rice. The service was great and included tea. My party kept drinking hot tea and the waitress was always on top of it and refilling it. Even when we finished our meal and we were just chatting amongst each other, the waitress still offered tea, it was a very nice gesture and made us feel welcome to stay more. Pending on how much you eat, I recommend getting the number of plates = the number of people in your party. If you cannot finish everything, they offer boxes to take out the rest of your food. I recommend dining in, it is clean and spacious. The only bad thing is that some members of my party went to the bathroom and it was not clean, one of them even said that it ruins part of the experience. For the owner: Please clean the restroom, it would have been a perfect experience.

Solid Chinese cafe food. The duck with steam buns was delicious. I do wish the skin was crispier but at this price, I am not complaining. The water spinach with garlic was the perfect accompaniment along with steamed white rice. I like to pour the water sauce from the spinach on my rice with a little soy sauce and chili sauce. Yum! The service is typical cafe service. It’s not priced for fine dining so don’t expect fine dining service. It’s great casual cafe style service that comes with great affordable, authentic Chinese cafe food. Good tea and they even sent us home with a treat of mango custard. Will for sure be back when I’m the area but not a go-out-of -your-way spot.

We came across this restaurant on our way to a Dodger game. It was DELICIOUS, food tasted fresh, service was top notch. We ordered walnut shrimp, garlic wings, and the spicy wontons. We are definitely coming back every time we come to the game or around L.A area

I'm in love. We are here and service was immediate. The staff was so friendly. The food is delicious. No need for soy sauce. We are having fried rice and Beef Rice Noodles/chow fun. Man is it fun to my pallet. Thank you Phoenix inn.

I ordered the Phoenix BONELESS chicken (half-chicken size). The top layer of my order is boneless chicken. The bottom half layer is a mixture of unseasoned pieces of chicken with bones and bone with little meat. This is frustrating and potentially dangerous for people who expect a full box of boneless chicken and don't eat carefully enough. I hope the manager take care of this soon. I also got the Durian Delight. It is not a smoothie. There are big chunks of ice. And the drink is too sweet. I hope there is an option for adjusting the sweetness.

A few of us in our party either hadn't had Chinese in a long time or were picky when it comes to Chinese cuisine. So if you're that kind of group and looking to experience authentic non-fast food Chinese cuisine, this is the place! We all enjoyed our meal. Recommend the sweet and sour pork, sausage fried rice, and Korean style beef haha. Nice staff!

Fantastic Chinese food with friendly service. Right off the main road through Chinatown, it's easy to park nearby and get to the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and service was quick, but we never felt rushed. The green beans were amazing and it was by far the bust Kung Pao Chicken I've ever had. I would love to go back and sample more food, but everything we had was great.

Anajak Thai Cuisine is a well-established Thai restaurant in Los Angeles, offering a diverse menu along with beer, wine, and happy-hour specials. The restaurant has gained attention due to the recognition of its chef, Justin Pichetrungsi, who won the James Beard Award for Best Chef: West in 2023.
My fiancé and I waited over a year to finally have the chance to see what all the hype was about, and it was absolutely worth the wait. We were able to get a reservation during their reopening. We started with the Papaya Salad and wow, this was the absolute favorite of the night. The flavors of the papaya and peach was just perfection. Next, we had the Thai River Prawn. The taste and and texture was so unique but delicious. Our mains were the Pad Siew and the drunken noodles. Both were the best of those dishes I’ve ever had. It was an incredible experience and I can’t wait to go back!

A delicious evening with some great friends. The restaurant was busy on this Saturday night but the hospitality and service was exceptional. The restaurant manager and Sommelier came by for greetings and to talk about their extensive wine list. The food was all cooked to perfection. Each entree came out steady. We sat outside on the side of the alley under large heaters and jamming 2000s hip hop music. Seating was filled inside and out. The atmosphere was loud in the restaurant. There was also a line of people waiting on the sidewalk. We had made prior reservations. It was a good first experience. I just wished the portions were bigger for the price. Reservations are recommended. There's street parking. Some are metered. Free residence parking is on and around Dickens St.

Great dinner with my mom. We ordered the pork ribs with pineapple glaze, scallops, sizzling steak and the bok choy. It was a low carb night for us. It was really good! Only issue is that it took a while for us to get the veggies as they were not served the entrees. The restaurant was beautifully renovated and feels bigger but still has the same vibe as before. It’s still loud inside but less so compared to before. You can easily find street parking.

This is a high priced Thai restaurant ($100+ a person) and has great presentation, but overall is lacking in value. The food was all good, however, it is Thai “light” and everything is missing the depth of flavor that you find with really authentic Thai food that you can find in multiple inexpensive restaurants in Thai Town. Food is the most important part of eating out. The papaya salad was the most disappointing and the sauce on the hamachi the most delicious. The bream was good with great crispy skin, but again had no Thai punch behind the sauce. The cabbage with chutney I liked, but again I need to be wowed if I’m paying $30 for cabbage. I did not leave feeling full even though we also ordered fried rice, scallops and mango sticky rice. I was not even wowed enough to take photos of everything. The portions are very small. The decor is sub par and feels more like a basic casual restaurant and I certainly would not have been happy seated in the alley way with folding table and chairs. The wine from Czechia was wonderful. The worst part of the dinner was the noise level. Playing loud music in a small space forcing everyone to talk above it made it impossible to carry on a conversation and I couldn’t wait to be done with dinner. If you are charging high end prices you need to deliver an experience that matches which doesn’t including blasting music. It’s also surprising they are only open for dinner when they are not a high end dinner place. So the end result was good food across the board but a lot of negatives. It’s a good reasonably priced cafe minus the reasonable prices. The only thing high end is the price and the plating.

The food, when it finally appeared after about 40 minutes, was quite good — so good it almost made me forget how long I’d been waiting. The staff seemed as surprised as we were when the dishes eventually showed up, which added a bit of mystery to the evening. Definitely a great spot if you enjoy suspense with your dinner.

Overrated !!! Extremely slow service of food !!! U paying 60 $ for a branzino which is served cold. Cutlery was dirty ! The noodles were basic and very small portion. Appetizers also came out slow . Many other better thai restaurants at reasonable prices! Absolutely not worth the prices being charged and zero flavor!!!!

The foods are good and the service is nice, but it takes us FOREVER to wait for the food. We waited for 30 min for a mango sticky rice, which is after we waited 10min for EACH of the dish to came out. We ordered 5 dishes for three ppl and spent the majority of the time waiting instead of enjoying our food. Added: we asked how long do we need to wait for it and informed the server that we have plans afterwards, if it is not with in 10 min, we want to take it off the order, and then 20min passed without anything. We called the server and was told it’s gonna be more than 20min. We were literally told wrong information. And we had to cancel our plans afterwards. Such a great way to enjoy Halloween 😅

Interstellar is a laid-back restaurant in Santa Monica that offers Korean fusion dishes and drinks in a rustic-chic space. The chef's Korean and American heritages inspire the menu, featuring seasonal dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant aims to represent the cultural diversity of Los Angeles by creating innovative flavor combinations that transcend individual cuisines.
Great food from a variety of cultures! I got the chicken katsu curry, and I thought it stood out with unique flavors I haven’t had in a curry before. Their matcha was quite refreshing as well. My only criticism is about the menu—I didn’t particularly enjoy ordering on a tablet, and I thought it did a worse job than a traditional menu at highlighting the restaurant’s most interesting dishes.
Matthew H — Google review
So yummy! Their matcha latte and cappuccino were delicious. We also got their chicken katsu (soooOoo good!!) and their french toast and bacon. My husband and I shared the Breakfast Croissant. The croissant was so flaky. I loved every dish and was glad to come here for brunch! Highly recommend.
Caitlin G — Google review
Had a delicious brunch on a random Monday morning before we left the city. The Google listing had intrigued us the day before, but it was tough to get a seat that day (Sunday.) We felt it was worth trying enough to go the next day before we left - and w me were not disappointed. The food, coffees, and service were great. The shakshuka and loco moco were both fantastic - even the toast provided with the shakshuka was top-notch! The iced matcha oat milk latte and the traditional latte were exemplary. My only complaint was with the soda. I ordered a Diet Coke and for the price, I wish I’d have received more than the small glass bottle. But this is usually expected at a coffee/focused restaurant. This place is a must-try if you are anywhere in the area. Highly, highly recommend!
Wes S — Google review
I haven’t had enough chicken katsu’s in my time to properly judge the sauce but the crumbing on the chicken and the tenderness of the fillet was really good. Pasta makes a seemingly strange appearance on the menu, it was fine. Lobster roll was very good, the bread actually great. Other restaurants in the area you feel happy to pay a bit for the location and ambiance, at interstellar it is nice enough but not sure you can add much on to their menu for that.
Jimmy P — Google review
Everything we ordered was very impressive. The pork bulgogi had lots of unexpected flavors and it was perfect. I don’t usually do galbi with cheese but it was really good. Perfect portions and plating. I’ve had almost everything on the menu but I can’t do carbs anymore so we skipped the pastas this time but they’re all excellent. This is my 4th time here and I highly highly recommend this place

I loved this place! It's a cozy little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. The server was really nice. We got the chicken and waffles and the oyakadon. Both were REALLY good, full of flavor and good portion sizes. I would DEFINITELY return. It's been the best food on our trip. (Also, I took a bite of the chicken and waffles before taking the picture. It looked and smelled too good for me to wait. Sorry.)

A great brunch spot in Santa Monica. The service is quick. The sitting is limited and both indoor and outdoor spaces are available. The coffee is very good however food is on pricey side. The portions are reasonable. Everything we ordered tasted flavorfull.

My wife and I were walking around by the Santa Monica Pier and stopped in here for a Cappuccino and a coffee. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The cappuccino I had was really good and we sat outside and drank it using the seating in front of the restaurant. I recommend this place for a good strong cappuccino.

At Cluck2Go, you'll receive a ginormous portion of their delicious chicken! The sauce is great, but I feel like it needs something extra to really make it perfect. All in all, this is a great place for Hainan chicken.
I had the all dark meat poached Hainan chicken. It's a very tasty and satisfying lunch; reasonably priced. And it would certainly work for a light dinner. This meal comes with a little side cup of chicken consomme; two dipping sauces, the scallion oil, which is savory and not spicy, and the ginger one, which is spicy and really adds a nice kick to the mildly flavored chicken. I went after the lunch rush and it was easy to park and there was a table available. There's only about four or five tables. The service is friendly and polite and welcoming. I will definitely be back. I also got container of the peanuts to take with me. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm sure they're delicious. The place is clean and tidy.
Debbaworks — Google review
The pastor at my church took us here to break bread as this is his top spot for Hainan chicken. I told him I really like savoy and he thinks this place is way better so here we are. The members at our church are troopers as this restaurant was 30+ min away from church and there were 11 of us. There are street parking and should be enough if people can park correctly but of course a few had to take up two spots and I ended up parking across the street. There's a sign that says one hour parking but does not pertain to Sundays...yay! The place itself is quit small but praise GOD there were no one here when we arrived so we were able to fit everyone here. Instead of being able to order at the front, the waiter made us wait so he can take our order at the table as he stated we are all sitting together. Also means we can only split two bills instead of paying individually. SMH. I was going to give them 3 stars for this but the guy more then made it up with his spectacular service. He started off with getting all of us water and then kept refilling our sauce! The store could use some remodeling as a big part of the ceiling is peeling off. On to the food. I ordered combo A as it's 1/2 chicken compared to individual order which is 1/4 chicken according to the waiter but when comparing side by side we felt the individual order is more then a 1/4 but less then 1/2. Combo A is $2 more but you get fried peanuts and spicy cucumber salad and that's why I ordered that instead but after comparing, I would def order the individual size instead to get more Hainan chicken. The chicken is comparable to savoys but their green onion sauce is out of this world!!! So good! The rice is a bit on the harder side for me but with the green sauce over it, it just made everything taste good lol. The peanuts is good but I'm not really into mala and the cucumber salad is refreshing w a spicy kick. It also comes w chicken broth which was surprisingly healthy tasting. We were expecting msg but nope just light broth. Overall: this place is a bit far from where I live but if I'm ever in the area, I wouldn't mind coming back as the price was very reasonable and service was excellent and the green sauce was so good! 3.5 stars because of the poor store condition. If they fix their ceiling this would be a solid 4 stars!

After an early appointment we found Cluck2Go by chance! So glad we stopped in because this hai nan chicken is wonderful! We were loyal Savoy Kitchen diners for a long long time but after having Cluck2Go, I had to break things off with Savoy! Although the meal comes on a paper plate, they give you a good serving of chicken and rice. We had the original hai nan chicken as well as the fried hai nan chicken. Both were delicious! The appetizer cucumbers was plentiful but was missing a bit of flavor. The fried chicken wings were good but the star of this place was hai nan chicken!
A. K — Google review
We ordered the Combo B for takeout. We've only had Hainan Chicken Rice a couple of times. That said, this combo was the perfect comfort food to share with our friends. Super tender and juicy chicken with awesome chicken rice. The sides and sauces are brilliant. Every component works together in harmony. If you try it I'm certain that you will experience food joy.

I'm thrilled to have a Cluck2Go nearby; it's hands down one of my favorite Hainan Chicken spots! I've had the pleasure of trying both the dark and white meat, and my recommendation is to go for the dark meat. The chicken is completely deboned, and the rice is cooked with chicken broth! Plus, they serve it with pickled veggies and a side of chicken broth, making it a real bang for your buck. Sure, it's not the fanciest joint and a tad small, but honestly, the real draw here is the scrumptious Hainan chicken—that's what brings people in! Service is great, and the convenience of parking all around the block is definitely a plus. No complaints here!

Bar & grill
Dan Sung Sa is a classic Korean small plates and soju bar located in Los Angeles. The establishment offers a nostalgic ambiance with wooden walls to scribble on, dim lighting, and no-nonsense service. The owner designed the bar based on her memories of South Korea's tented street pubs from the late 20th century. The menu features over 90 food items meant to be enjoyed alongside a variety of soju drinks, sake, baekseju, and makgeolli.
You feel like you’re stepping back in time when you walk in. This is a great no-frills, Korean restaurant where they specialize in skewers. Keep in mind it is a loud and quick atmosphere, so if you’re trying for a romantic date night spot, pick somewhere else. But the vibes here are immaculate and not something that you can easily find in Los Angeles. Very unique experience! The food is awesome, super cheap eats. Easy to walk in if there’s just two of you but also a fun spot to catch up with friends! Love the atmosphere, great for a quick bite to eat, especially late night! Highly recommend the grilled mackerel, the kimchi pancake, and the short ribs.

Visited here for the first time since moving to Koreatown. The food was amazing and full of flavors. The restaurant was packed with people and even more waiting outside once we left. Had a party of 2 at around 7:00pm on a Friday night and we waited maybe 10 minutes. Highly recommend coming here with a small group. Larger groups are hard to seat as the restaurant is small inside. Will definitely be back here.

A Korean pub in LA full of character! It’s a very popular spot with long lines — we waited about an hour to get in, but it was totally worth it. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely a place I want to visit again next time!

Really cool spot with delicious food. So many different options and everything that we got was delicious. Everything came out quickly and it was all so fresh. This is a great spot for groups or if you’re just looking for a great spot for some authentic food at a reasonable price. The only downside to this place is that the staff is definitely not the nicest but it’s easy to look past this when the food is so good!

Unique place to grab some skewers. Love the layout and style. You have to buy alcohol if you want to order from like half the menu so bring a DD (designated drinker 🤣). Food was good although a little bit pricier than I would prefer. Nothing unreasonable though and overall taste is good.

Best restaurant in k-town! If you are looking for an authentic immersive restaurant experience then look no further. This family establishment is full of delicious food, excellent service, and fun vibes. Food comes quick and is always well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We love getting a mix of skewers and shareable plates. The house soup and fresh veggies are a great way to get your appetite going and their soju selection is great. Some of our favorites are the dukbokki and ramen, corn cheese, and short ribs & pork belly skewers. We love coming here with our friends to catch up and drink, in the privacy of our own booth. If there is a line definitely wait because this is an experience worth waiting for. You will be treated like family in from out of town and have some of the best Korean bar bites in LA. Centrally located to plenty of other places in k-town and a killer valet deal, add this one to your next trip to ktown!

This place is a hidden gem 💎 in Los Angeles! KTown has great food, BBQ restaurants, entertainment but this small restaurant would not be seen by the ordinary person or popular list because it's easy to miss. It's easy to just drive passed it but if you are exploring (walking) you will definitely smell the delicious food, and that's how I find things 🤤. Looks torn down, not the fancy entrance, not renovated, no newly painted. . .but the kitchen is on point and on fire. Dead and Center you have the grilling, around it you have bar seating overlooking the grilling. A walkway around the bar seating area. Booths that only seat 4 people at most or 2 foodie angelinos. There is also a seating area outside of the building that used to be patios but was closed off with wood planks. These wood planks are covered with graffiti and stickers. . . The shock and uniqueness about this place is this. You are greated with a dark room, dimmed lights, sun shining though cracks from these wood planks. . .small window on far back wall. You are also hit with all the smoke, it's a dark Korean BBQ smoke house 🔥, with red curtains, wood tables and chairs/booths!!! I ordered many, many small plates skewers to share with my kids. Lots of options from $1.99, $2.99 $3.99 yes!!!! Inexpensive and flavorful. . .there are many other plates, like 100 options ranging up to $15.99 per plate. We weren't very hungry but wanted to see the place. The trick is that in order to buy those low cost skewers you have to buy an alcoholic 🍻. What a trick, I want to be tricked 3 times please. . .lol. Enjoy this great place with your loved ones. 🔥. I recommend the spicy 🔥 chicken, mushrooms, and shrimp. I would definitely be back and order some fries, and plates. I saw a quail, and other Kool stuff.

So many choices of different meats to try in this small but niche location! Their interior has such a fun vibe to it with constant motion of the servers and food. Portions sizes were small enough that I could try various options. The only downside is that there are no reservations and you have to wait outside for your name to be called.

Restaurant
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is a long-standing chain known for its spicy fried chicken and classic sides, served in a casual atmosphere. Originating from Mason, Tennessee, this Memphis-based chain has been dishing out its renowned hot and spicy fried chicken for over 70 years. The breading on the chicken tends to be thinner, with a spice level that doesn't reach the intensity of Nashville-style hot chicken.
Some of the best fried chicken I ever had. I ordered the three piece white meat combo meal with a double side of coleslaw. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I accompanied the meal with a sweet tea of course. Why not the full experience. The restaurant is fairly big with plenty of seating. Great customer service and very friendly staff. The only tricky part is the parking. There is parking in the back alley, but it’s compact and small. If one car parks wrong, it creates a chain effect since the parking spaces are small. I ended up parking on the street to avoid the mess. This place is definitely a must try if you are in the area and you can definitely share the portions, they are big.

The only answer I couldn't find prior to my first visit was "Do y'all serve beer?" Because a cold beer goes very well with some fried chicken. Well, the answer Im happy to report, is YES. The 40oz Budweiser is a bit pricey at $12, but damn sure hits the spot. Fried chicken is battered nicely. It has a spicy kick. Fried okra was great! Baked beans tasted like they came from a can. Slaw was a bit sweet but complimented the spicy chicken nicely. Service was good. Attentive and friendly.

I first discovered Gus’s in Memphis and couldn’t wait to try the LA location after moving here — and I’m happy to say it’s just as incredible. The chicken is fried to perfection: crispy, not greasy, and seasoned beautifully. It’s somehow rich yet feels light, which is rare for fried food. The staff are friendly, laid-back, and quick with service. This has quickly become one of my top 10 go-to spots in LA for comfort food that’s consistently excellent. The only thing I hope they improve is better management of the dine-in space. On my last two visits, a few non-dining individuals were allowed to sit inside for extended periods, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable for guests. A little more attentiveness in maintaining the dining environment would make a big difference. That said, I still love this place and will absolutely keep coming back — it’s fried chicken done right.

Simple and efficient! A very good Fried chicken, home style sides, concise menu and a vintage countryside decor. A recipe for success!! The coconut pie was too sweet for me and that’s why I’m giving a four star instead of five. But definitely a must try spot in LA!!

Attentive, friendly, professional service. Delicious crispy flavorful sides. Loved the beans & the Mac & Cheese. Don’t skip desert. The chocolate pie was scrumptious.

Wonderful hidden gem in Los Angeles Don't let the outside fool you. Very clean nice restaurant inside. Plenty of room to Dine in. Real Delicious Fried Chicken, wonderful deserts. Chicken is flavored to the Bone. It's hard to find real, well seasoned fried chicken. Some restaurants are selling fake cloned chicken. Gus's is worth the trip.
Goddess C — Google review
Really simple, very good! This was a very homestyle, simple fried chicken. I appreciated Gus’ concise menu and great service. It was a refreshing change from the super seasoned, Nashville hot chicken that’s become so popular here in California. The breading is thin, crispy, and not heavy or greasy. You almost can’t tell it’s fried. The price was great too! we got a platter of 10 tenders for about 30 bucks and we couldn’t finish it all, we tried though hehe! I liked that, despite being a casual restaurant, the employees took our order at the table, and came back frequently with refills and extra sauce. Note: parking is tight here! They have a small backlot (almost always full), and street parking is a little challenging too, so beware and bring coins for the parking meters! If you’re looking for an old fashioned, easy chicken, at a clean and cozy place, check them out 😼

New York Chicken & Gyro is a casual eatery offering a variety of dishes such as chicken, lamb, fried fish, and falafel plates. The ambiance is welcoming with hip hop music playing in the background and friendly staff. Customers praise the freshness of the food and quick service despite it being a busy spot. The top-selling platters include chicken, lamb, and mixed options which are known for their affordability. Self-service kiosks are available for easy ordering.
I finally had the chance to come and try this place today which I couldn't believe I didn't come sooner. I was across the street picking up my order so I decided to stop by this place to get some food. This place is in a plaza with limited parking spot so just be aware of that. When I walked inside, I was greeted right away by Sammy and I looked at their menu. I went with the chicken gyro, fries and a drink. Your drink can be fountain drink or bottle in the fridge. I stayed safe with getting a fountain drink. They also have a kiosk that you can order from in the place and the dining experience can fit a good amount of people inside. There artwork on the wall and also a TV to keep people entertained. My food was made quickly and I took it home to eat it. I really like the chicken gyro from this place because the seasoning was great and there was no extra stuff like sour cream. I thought the fries were okay. The customer service was great when I was here and I'm planning on coming back in the future.

Best New York Halal Truck style food in LA! Drove all the way from San Diego and stayed a few days just to eat both chicken and gyro plates because we don’t have a place like this in SD just Arab Shawarma. This is different and I love it always thank you NYC Chicken and Gyro! Their prices are unbelievably affordable too like $15 and some change for the rice platters. In this economy so good and they stuff the plate and are not stingy with the sauce:)

What a beautiful complete meal with chicken gyro, drink of your choice, and fries! GYRO - 4/5 Perfect amount of chicken and flavor, not too much sauce. Can't complain here. Savory marinated chopped chicken, with lettuce and tomatoes topped with their special white sauce wrapped in a warm pita bread. FRIES - 3/5 Fresh, but a bit too salty for me. SERVICE - 4/5 Friendly staff, everyone was hospitable. PARKING & AMBIENCE - 4/5 Small tiny shopping plaza with parking if you're lucky. It's on the Main Street of Topanga so it gets busy. Inside is very inviting especially because of the tall ceiling and open floor plan.

The location is on NW corner of Topanga canyon and Saticoy ave. They have a strip mall parking area ( kinda limited by space,) I went and was offered a lamb or chicken gyro combo, they offered me a small sample of lamb and chicken, I decided on Lamb. The Lamb combo was delish. The Gyro was very filling, The fries were crispy, it has a slight crust. It was very good! All fries should be like this. The service was very friendly and professional. The Dining area was kept clean, it has a high ceiling and has 2 large screen TVs, the place is kept hopping with customers coming in and picking up their orders most of their business is for pickups

The food here is good, the people working here are friendly, and it’s a decent price. It’s always very clean inside. The only down side is the parking lot is pretty cramped but the fact I go is just a testament to how good it is. I usually get the chicken plate with double meat with half lettuce and rice. Their sauces are really good as well and they sell them in a bottle too.

Nestled in the historic Hull Building of Culver City, AKASHA is a vibrant eatery that beautifully marries rustic charm with modern flair. Under the expert guidance of Chef Akasha Richmond, this beloved spot serves up New American farm-to-table cuisine infused with global influences and fresh California ingredients.
One of our favorite places to eat out in Culver. The menu is extensive and everything is really good. I’m a big fan of the beet / arugula salad and any of their pastas. They also have specials frequently and offer wine tastings! It can get busy and cause the service to be a bit slow, but we have never been let down on the food.

Food is so mid - I’m guessing people are mostly coming here for the drinks, which were good! But I was excited to try the apricot special menu they have right now and the chicken was so dry and bland, and just came an apricot covered in liquid sugar on the side? And the cornbread was so incredibly dry and not flavorful. Now the apricot drink was 10/10 so, again, perfect if you just want a place to drink. My bf got an old fashioned and it was also great, but his food was also disappointing - the Strozzapreti. He said it tasted a little too sweet or like the flavor was unbalanced, and also just needed more flavor.

Akasha is easily one of my favorite spots in Culver City. The vibe is modern, warm, and welcoming perfect for everything from brunch with friends to a date night. The food is consistently fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the local and organic ingredients. I highly recommend the brunch—especially the shakshuka and the tiramisu French toast. Their happy hour is also fantastic, with delicious small plates, cocktails, and a great wine selection. The staff is always friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. They even have a great bakery and café up front if you’re just grabbing coffee and a pastry. And parking is a breeze with one hour free parking nearby, which is rare in LA! Whether you’re looking for a cozy dinner, a lively brunch, or just a solid all-around restaurant, Akasha nails it every time. A true gem in the heart of Culver City.

Went for a dinner and happy hour with a friend. My friend had gin & tonic while I had scotch. The atmosphere and vibe was super pleasing. Our hostess was super amazing and helped us get the table as the restaurant opened. For food we had a wide variety from Chicken Wings to Pepperoni Pizza platter. Since the place was so nice so we ended up ordering more food, one of the best highlights was the turkey burger. I usually substitute turkey with chicken but I am so glad I didn't because the turkey patty was the best and amazing. We had brownie with walnuts and ice cream was the nice way to sum up the evening.

It was an absolute pleasure dining at Akasha. We had passed by the week before and knew we had to try it out! Their menu is small but the food is incredibly flavorful and delicious. They honored happy hour prices for our cocktails, even though we sat down right when happy hour ended, which was so appreciated! We got the barbacoa taquitos, the chicken parm, the arugula and peach salad, and the coffee ice cream pie, and everything was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and attentive -- from the time we sat down to the time we finished our entrees, it was 45 minutes! Tables were nicely spread out so it didn't feel too COVID-crowded. Overall an incredible experience, and I would absolutely come back.

The Heights Deli & Bottle Shop is a popular spot in LA, recommended by locals for its custom sandwiches and extensive selection of craft beer and wine. With locations in Glassell Park and Lincoln Heights, it offers a diverse menu that includes sandwiches, pizzas, and a variety of beverages. While the to-go beer selection has garnered praise during current times, the signature sandwich called 'The Heights' has been highlighted as a must-try item.
Had a most delicious sandwich at this establishment. At the recommendation of a friend that helped me move a piece of furniture today. It was called the Lincoln Park avenue. Another friend had the same sandwich and another had a Mission Road sandwich. Those were the names of the sandwiches. I had a soda and so did my friend and another friend had a margarita. Never mind you the margarita was $10 but it was very delicious. The three of us ate lunch for $62.22 cents. Since my friends helped me move that one piece of furniture I paid for lunch. Although we picked up the piece of furniture in North Hollywood and delivered it to Fontana. But again the sandwiches were delicious. They have hundreds of wines and beers and sodas from present and past as well as Pizza. Highly recommend this place.

I am new to the area and I’m a complete foodie, so I was really nervous about trying this place because a lot of places I’ve tried in Los Angeles have not been what they promote or what I expected when I stayed. This place is absolutely delicious. I got the Heights sandwich and the jambalaya pasta oh my God the sandwich was amazing super fresh ingredients. The bread was perfect so flavorful so tasty you could tell that is freshly baked. The pasta was absolutely delicious flavorful robust cheesy and the perfect ratio from Cheese 2 garlic to sauce & spices chefs kiss and I’m a for sure foodie like I said I go to mini restaurants and this is actually the first review I’ve ever done on Google. I’m gonna head over to help to amazing amazing amazing definitely Gem 💎 And let me not forget to mention the services is amazing. They have a large variety of beers, IPAs pilsners etc to choose from and the host/ cashier who helped us out was super informative and helpful so happy that I decided to go and try this place today. Best decision I’ve made in long time. Absolutely delicious

This was a great find while in the area. We had the jambalaya pasta, salad and garlic knots. The garlic knots were soft and delicious, I'd definitely go back just for those. Portions sizes were big, it felt like we ordered at a restaurant. The jambalaya pasta was good, although a little greasy. Service was fine. We ordered and waited about 10/15 minutes for it to be ready. There is outdoor seating, with music playing. There was parking in the back.

This deli shop was close to our hotel and decided to check them out. They have a great selection of wines and beers at the shop and you order at the cashier. I believe there were some tables and seats outside but we only ordered take out. Street parking only but we didn’t have trouble finding a spot close by on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was made fresh and we really enjoyed everything we ordered! -Garlic Shrimp Pasta ($14.60) -Garlic Knots ($3.95) -Broadway Sandwich ($13.50) -Philly Cheesestake ($13.70) For the sandwiches, there’s an option to add house hot pepper sauce and it was sooo good and spicy! I saw that they sold it in bottles and I wish I bought some for home. The food took a little bit to come out but again everything was made fresh and we ordered a good amount of food. The lady who rung us up also kept checking up on our order to make sure we got ours on time. Loved the customer service here. I wish we lived closer to this deli because I would be a regular customer here!

I ordered pizza with pineapple and extra cheese. I was expecting it to be spread through the pizza but it's all in the same spot. Not the first time it comes like this either.
S S — Google review
The best sandwich shop for miles. The menu is divided between hot and cold sandwiches, pastas, salads and appetizers. I always like to ask for a suggestion because it’s all good. We’re talking big portions, incredible bites and if you’re a fan of truffles, get the truffle fries. Inside you’ll see a vast variety of beers, wine, hard kombucha and non-alcoholic beverages. They carry the more crafty and unique brands here. I love their ‘clean up after yourself’ culture. If you enjoy a meal in their outdoor space, they provide cleaning products to encourage doing your part. Nice amount of parking behind the space.

I was so disappointed!!! I worked a 12 hr shift and didnt feel like cooking for my family tonight. The guy in the front had great customer service, however the pizza was just too dry. We waited 20 minutes for it and it was like room temperature heat… truffle fries were really dry, Im not sure if there made in the oven or deep fried , they taste like french fries you put in the oven for kids just over cooked. Customer service 10/10 but as far as food I wouldn’t recommend there pizzas… my husband had the shrimp pasta he liked that, and their wings were good … the pizza was the most exspensive thing so I thought that would be the best .

Location is extremely understaffed. When I ordered I was told my pick up order would be ready in 15 minutes. Upon arriving 16 minutes later, I was not greeted for at least 5 minutes as no one was manning the front counter. When someone finally came (and I made it to the front of the line) I was told 4 minutes. I then waited for another 45 minutes before I was finally given my food and it was barely warm. I am never ordering Pizza Hut again.

The female manager is very rude. She charged me 3.99 plus tax for a glass of water. When I asked why I was being charged, she said she asked if I wanted a glass. I thought she meant a glass of water instead of a bottle of water. She didn't say they did not give free glasses for water. When I told her I didn't want the glass and wanted by money back. I got major attitude because she asked if I wanted a glass but didn't explain there would be a charge. The restaurant was filthy crimumbs on all the tables.

Atmosphere is amazing. It's nice and relaxing and I can focus on eating my food. Service was great. They're very kind and welcome. I've been looking for a good Pho place since I moved here from the east coast and I think I've found it 10/10 all around.

the food didn’t taste Vietnamese at all. The pho broth is a bit too peppery so would skip. The pork in the vermicelli bowl was cooked well, but the imperial roll also tasted just okay. However you do get a free drink if you leave a google review :)

Overall this restaurant is a 3 out of 5. Service was good but food is just okay. We got - Wagu beef Pho with beef balls: the broth is not flavorful (trust me when I say it is not flavorful). The good thing here is the beef ball and the Wagu beef. They do give you a good amount of meat - vermicelli noodles with pork: meat isn't tender or flavorful. The egg roll was better than the meat. The fish sauce just okay. - clay pot chicken: a bit too salty. We had to add lime juice to make it more eatable. Rice was good. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Nothing special at all about the food, and it’s not particularly cheap. The inside of the restaurant is lacking in decorations, giving it a sort of sterile feeling. Service was fast and attentive, though. Happy hour 3-6 pm, $5 draft beer and $10 draft sake.

This is a great pho option on the west side. The wagyu beef pho is tasty. The meat is tender and delicious, and the bowl has good portions of both meat and noodles. I found the broth to be a bit one dimensional compared to other pho I’ve had, but adding the holy basil, lime and jalapeño helps make the broth a lot more fragrant and complex. The imperial roll is a delicious take on traditional recipe. It’s super crispy and the meat inside has great flavor and pairs great with the sauce.

Prime Pizza is a pizza restaurant with an extensive menu that includes classic pies, garlic knots and salads. The restaurant has a new location in West LA and is also introducing a rotating pizza inspired by the Santa Monica Farmers Market.
Finally got around to visiting after hearing so many recommendations... Prime Pizza is definitely a gem. Definitely one of the best options for NYC style pizza if you are in the area. The staff was busy and still super friendly, the vibe was very cosy. A great spot to wind down after walking all over Little Tokyo. We had the Vodka pie and loved it. It was saucy and cheesy and still cooked to perfection. The Sicilian was great too. Can't wait to come back and try the other all the other pies. 😋

Really tasty pizza slices! Very flavorful. I didn’t know it was sold by slices, so when I got asked how many I wanted, I thought, “well, what a box has ? 8 slices…” and that’s what I was given😅 8 HUGE slices HAHA! We took some home, but if you ever stop by, know that it’s sold by slices and the slices are pretty big, though I think everyone knows that and I was just not thinking 🙈

Pizza was ok not that great. I did have high expectations ordering from here for the first time since the reviews are positive but the taste and texture of the pizza were ok not bad but not great. The garlic knots were good though.

Great staff! Super friendly and attentive. The pizza unfortunately was not great. I was really disappointed. I’m a huge fan and my work used to order pizza from the Burbank location. It would arrive hot and cheese melting. Our pizza was cold and really sad looking. It was my SO first time and he was not a fan. We live in a neighborhood with “you have to try” pizza locations but I wanted to give Prime a shot for them to try. They said they are fine not having it again. The square is really good though, it was cold, but once I warmed it up delicious. We had to heat the full pies as well at home.

I placed an order through Uber eats, and at first, I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but thank God that I decided to place the order because the pizza is delicious! The pizza came really hot out of the oven, crispy-edge buttery crust. 10/10. Next time, I will see if there’s anyway I can get some vegan bacon bits, and maybe a little bit more sauce. But overall a well-made pizza. Vegan Meat lovers

As a native New Yorker. I can honestly say that Prime is very comparable to pizza back home. There's few places in LA I can say the same for. Just a regular pepperoni slice is great and their grandma option is great. They really mastered the taste of their marinara sauce which is similar to NY style. Prime is also more affordable to other pizza options in the area.

2 Wagyu Sausage Slices w/ curry dip / 5 🌟! I love Prime Pizza and have been to many of their locations, but when I saw them promoting a special collaboration with Champion Curry at their Downtown LA location, I knew I had to try it! The location is right in Little Tokyo, and their collaborator is right across the street. The pizza was tasty! Crispy thin crust with delicious toppings. I was here for the collab, but I am always happy with whatever I get at a Prime Pizza location. I love a dip for pizza and had never thought to pair a slice with Japanese style curry. It really works! I love this part of DTLA. I go here and Chinatown more than any other part of Downtown. Parking can be tricky, but it is worth it. If you are a local and like thin slice and Sicilian pizza, try them out.

Prime Pizza isn't your average slice joint – it's a haven for pizza lovers, both traditionalists and adventurous eaters. Nestled conveniently near downtown LA, it's a perfect spot for a satisfying lunch or a fun dinner. As a self-proclaimed pizza enthusiast (and a bit of a food critic!), I have to say Prime Pizza hits the right notes. For the purists, their "White Pizza" is a symphony of creamy cheeses. Fontina, mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan intertwine with the fragrant notes of garlic and parsley, creating a masterpiece of simplicity. But if you're feeling more adventurous, the "BBQ Chicken Pizza" is a must-try. The smoky sweetness of BBQ sauce perfectly complements the savory roasted chicken, melty mozzarella and cheddar, and the kick of red onion and jalapeno. Every bite is a delightful explosion of flavors and textures. No pizza experience is complete without the perfect drink, and Prime Pizza delivers here as well. The San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa is the ideal accompaniment. This sparkling orange and blood orange beverage cuts through the richness of the pizza with its refreshing fizz and sweet-tart citrus notes. In short, Prime Pizza is a place where quality ingredients and culinary creativity collide to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a traditionalist or a flavor adventurer, there's a pizza (and a drink!) waiting to tantalize your taste buds.

Combo A is a family-run Chinese takeout spot located in an Echo Park strip mall. They offer a variety of classic Chinese dishes such as chow mein, beef and broccoli, and their standout dish - garlic and jalapeno fried wings. The portions are generous, making it a great option for takeout or to enjoy during a Sunday football party. Customers appreciate the consistent taste of the food over the years and highlight favorites like veggie egg rolls and orange chicken.
Food was very delicious. It was my first time here and I had to try a little bit of everything. I absolutely loved the portions of Orange Chicken & Beef Broccoli. Our plates were overflowing with food and you definitely get your money’s worth. Super fast service. I was in and out of there in less than five minutes. I loved how friendly the staff was and how clean the establishment was. It’s a cute little spot in a plaza with plenty of parking. They also do phone orders so next time I will call in advance and have a quicker pickup time. I will definitely be coming back for their egg fried noodles and wings.

The food is way overpriced for the small portions you receive. The servers are stingy; they would even remove food from your plate after they've already served it. I ordered chicken, and I was only given three tiny wings. If you guys want to charge more than fkn add more to the plate. I seriously don’t leave reviews but this got to me. And the reviewers here who are hyping it up quit lying

This place is a hidden gem the food is good and the service is nice. The plate we had was full and the price for 2 plates was 26. The only thing that's not great is the location. There is little to no parking and limited seating inside.

My girlfriend and I came in 15 minutes before close (which we felt horrible about but wanted to try before leaving town) and most of everything had been sold. The man at the counter offered to cook a fresh batch of orange chicken, which was very tasty with a perfect crunch to it. Outstanding service, delicious food, and great prices for LA. Definitely worth checking out!

My husband and I recently ate at Combo A and we were blown away! The food was absolutely delicious! Every bite was flavorful and fresh. We were especially impressed by how much food we got for the price! Such a great value! The customer service was also amazing. When you go make sure to try the wings! This place is definitely a hidden gem. We’ll be back soon!

Combo A has been a staple neighborhood favorite of mine for years. From being reliable with their incredible food and equally awesome pricing this place has gotten me through so many chapters of life. My absolute favorite "Combo A" to get is both noodles - Chow Mein & Chow Fun, Orange Chicken, and the BBQ Pork. When I splurge I do a Combo B and will get the same order, plus the Chicken Wings. I am so happy to see Combo A's facelift open them up to more of the neighborhood & wish them all the success in the future. Also, I love their dodger adjacent branding. This local spot has such friendly faces who always greet you with a warm smile and the food is always fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and try them out!

Italian restaurant
New American restaurant
Cosa Buona is a casual Italian pizzeria by chef Zach Pollack, known for its wood-fired pizzas made with California produce. The menu features a variety of antipasti, salads, and standout mozzarella sticks. The pizza crust is described as fermented, chewy, airy, and bubble-pocketed. In addition to classic options like margherita and biancoverde, the restaurant offers gourmet variations such as BBQ chicken and Hawaiiana.
Oh it was Yum-Tastic😋! Jumped in for pie to-go and received pleasant customer service, got the run down (1st time customer) and grabbed the specialty "Pie of the Month". The pie came out in 15 mins and I was on my way. The ingredients tasted fresh, it had great flavors and was filling; only caveat, if there's more than one person in the party you're going to have a pizza party and order more pie which obviously isn't a bad thing because you get to experience the other options☺️. Parking can be a challenge so I suggest looking on Alvarado which generally has a higher turnover. Bon Appetit 🤌.

Located close to South Echo Park, we came here because one of our party has been following the chef patron since 3017, when he first opened this pizzeria. This is a typical “don’t judge the book by its cover” kind of restaurant, because it definitely lacks in decor and location. On the other hand the service is very good and the food is just as appealing. The garlic focaccia we had for starters was great and our party had different dishes including a pasta dish (parmeggiana) and a few pizzas (calzone, supreme and sausage pizzas) the worst one would be the sausage for me. Not that it was bad - in fact it had a great thin base and the right amount of spicy peppers- unfortunately the sausage was barely visible, which is a pity. Other than that we enjoyed our time there.
David F — Google review
Pizza was good. Wings were okay, more like a sticky Asian sauce to me then traditional buffalo. Service was sub par at best. Especially being the only table in there. Seemed like we were more of an inconvenience. Sad, seeing as customers pay for the employees insurance. Different menu for certain hours, which seems silly for 1 hour, so couldn't try things I saw online and was interested in. Conveniently located on a busy street. I'd skip it next time for sure.
Sarah S — Google review
This review is coming as a regular customer of this gem of a spot! I know a few people are with me on this but LA actually has some pizza spots. It might have taken some time but I’d put LA up against the best of em. Now I’m not saying go to prince st. in downtown and expect what you’ll get in NYC. But LA being a melting pot of people you’re bound to get the folks who are from these places and because they are in LA these niche items can explode in popularity. Look at “Detroit-style” pizza being a thing. (I’m from the mitten so I know). You’ll pay three times more than in Detroit but sometimes you get homesick. Back to the point, Cosa Buona is a sleeper and a neighborhood favorite. My go-to is the pepperoni pizza with a side of Calabrian chilis, a chopped salad, and if I’m feeling crazy, cheese sticks that are out of this world, wings, or meatballs. If you’re here for a dodgers game and want to be a little out of the madness and eat some of the best pizza in LA, then look no further. P.s. got the cheese cake. You should too
Justin S — Google review
Quaint corner spot on a busy street! Judging by only the food itself and not the parking & the different fees, I'd say this this is a top notch place. I'll be honest and say that I loved the meatball dish and wings more than the pizza. The tres leches tiramisu.... heavenly.
Matt C — Google review
This is the review featuring the Ziti Alla Bandiera photo you’re looking for. It was an interesting choice/experiment, maybe not worth the $17 if you’re hungry. Service was great and the Meatlovers pizza was absolutely delicious. The outside of the restaurant, up to the door is very dirty. It’s a problem of the city of Los Angeles, but I would clean it if this was my business. There’s a really nice outdoor backyard that’s not properly advertised. I had dinner there and I loved it. Great at night when it’s hot.
Joel B — Google review
Cosa Buona was the best dining experience we had in LA during our 5 day trip. Make a reservation, because you have to come here and the place fills up within minutes of opening. We we're lucky to walk in right as they opened and even though we were a big group the owner graciously sat us at the barf with out stroller clearly in the way, but they were very accommodating. The food is incredible! Order everything, and I'm being serious. The olives tested as if they were picked from a tree in Italy! The smoked mozzarella sticks are to die for. Crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside and when you taste that smokiness you'll understand what I mean about to die for. Of course, dip it in their homemade marinara sauce, that's if you don't drink it before - yes it's that good. The pizza - hands down ridiculously good. Crunchy smokey Woody crust that's also nicely chewy somehow, I don't know how, but it was amazing. The mozzarella stretches for days when you try to pull your pizza apart and everything is just so we'll put together. My mouth is watering as I write this review and I'm considering flying back to LA just o experience it all over again. The best part (yes it just keeps getting better): the people. From the owner or manager who looks like Ben Stiller's twin to the bartender who took care of a family 6 and everyone else. Everyone of them had a smile on their faces and was eager to help and please. This is the one restaurant in LA you HAVE to go to. I can't wait to go back.
Noor A — Google review
I was very excited to try this place after learning that the chef had previously been at Sotto, my favorite LA pizza spot. When we first walked in, it sort of smelled like manure... but maybe we were smelling funky, expensive cheese 🤷🏻‍♀️ We made a reservation through open table and were promptly seated. Our server was nice and let us sample a bit of the Lambrusco before we committed to buying it by the bottle. The wings were fantastic, and the Gorgonzola sauce it came with was the best part. As our main, we ordered the meat lover’s pizza. The crust was delicious and slightly charred; perfect amount of chew. The toppings were okay. I’d like to try the mushroom pizza next time. Neighborhood parking can be tough here around dinner time. We managed to snag a spot on Santa Ynez Street. They also have a small lot in the back, but it’s shared with a few other businesses.

Japanese restaurant
Pikunico is a newly opened spot in the trendy Row DTLA complex, offering a delightful selection of gourmet Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) made with free-range, gluten-free ingredients. The charming loft space exudes an effortlessly cool vibe and is run by Kuniko Yagi, formerly of Hinoki and the Bird and Sona. The menu features crispy fried chicken served with house-made pickles and three gourmet sauces, as well as sandwich options on turmeric bread.
The restaurant in clean and cozy with accents. The staff walked me through the gluten-free options, which is almost everything. At $23.00 for a bowl +$1 for spicy, coke, and 20%, this is an amazing meal. The pickled veggies, withe the spicy chicken, with rice was a great mix of flavors. I'm not from CA, but can't wait to come back 😀

I absolutely recommend this place for the best gluten free fried chicken in LA! it’s so crispy and tasty we are 100% coming back here to try more items on the menu and to get the family bucket. The lady who served us was also so nice and kind. Everything we ordered was so tasty, even the pickle and the green sauce - outstanding. Can’t wait to come back for more. Also it’s important to note that they validate parking 🙌🏼

This place is insanely good. I don’t know if it’s because I’m celiac and there’s a dearth of hospitable fried chicken places in la, but I could eat this all day long. So light and tender. Hits the spot.

The tender onigiri was on point! Such a thoughtful and unique way of doing this dish. Also loved the chicken egg drop soup. We had just finished eating nearby in this was what brought me in. It did not disappoint. Was delicious and exactly as I wanted it. I will definitely be coming back for more

I’ve been coming back to Pikunico ever since they first opened. The menu and taste is consistent, and I’d say that it’s fried chicken that doesn’t make you feel heavy or bogged down after finishing it, which is nice. That being said, I tried the spicy option (which is new to me), and while the taste was good, I’d skip it next time because the chili oil makes the sandwich a bit of a mess. The service and ambiance is nice and chill, so this always makes a great lunch time escape.
Felipe L — Google review
This is inside The Row, and parking in the garage is free for 2 hrs. We came for lunch on a Sunday, and there was plenty of indoor seating. It's very casual, and it does feel like you're having a picnic with the bench/table seatings. We ordered the following: Golden Chicken Sandwich - we got this spicy for $1 extra, and this sandwich was the bomb. The flavor of the fried chicken was seasoned really well, and the alfalfa sprouts completes this perfect sandwich. The pickled peppers bring the heat for sure, and I recommend it. This sandwich was easy to eat, and the bread on this was really soft and not thick, making it not messy and great to eat. Yaki Imo - if you like Japanese sweet potato and ume, you'll like this. Salmon Onigiri - the rice is made with ginger and soy sauce, and it has flaky salmon on the inside. This was good, and I think I'd just stick to the Ginger Onigiri, since the rice mixture itself has already really good flavor. The service was very nice and helpful. This would be a place I'd be a regular at for the sandwich.

A Japanese fried chicken that is airy and not bogged down with oil. Overall a pretty great fried chicken although some may complain that it carries a strong chicken flavor. I do wish it came with a few more pickles, 2 pickles is not much of a side. Pickles were also not marinated very long, they were a bit more like sour cucumbers. The beet salad was a bit small. The egg drop soup was filling and hot!

This little stand has no business being this delicious!! The flavor was excellent and the meat was so juicy. I really liked the regular taco and sauces that they had. The quesotaco was good as well but I just felt like the flavor of the regular taco was really great on its own

So gotta say some of the best tacos I've ever had. Very authentic, only beef tacos and burritos etc. But they were worth it. The broth they give u is wildly good. Great taco making section. Alot of options and all extremely reasonably priced. These are the places that need to stay.

Horrible birria tacos their main in the pizza oven, the meat was dry and the cheese was burnt the condiments was salty beef broth with no meat pieces in it. I’m so disappointed In what I paid 17$ for, the guy was trying to charge me 25$ for 4 tacos consommé and a drink. Never will I go there no recommend anyone to eat there.

L.A. Birria is a food stand that specializes in beef birria served in styrofoam cups or in tacos. Birria (which is a slang term for "ugly mess") is a rustic Mexican stew made of meat braised in a crimson-colored guajillo chile-based broth. The proprietor of L.A. Birria, Josue Eduardo Anaya, is a graduate of famed culinary school Le Cordon Bleu and was raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the birthplace of birria. L.A. Birria's consommé (i.e. birria broth) on its own tastes a bit tinny, a flavor surprisingly not evident in the delectable beef itself. The meat instead is intensely savory and beefy in addition to having a satin-like texture. I recommend consuming the birria served at L.A. Birria by ordering their "Quesatacos," which are stuffed with stewed beef and white cheese that melts as the tortillas harden until they're crunchy from being griddled in oil. The "Spider Taco" is similar, but the result of splattering the cheese on the flat top so that it fries up dark and crispy, creating what looks like a "spider web" around the taco. Adding the piquant and rich salsa de aceite (oil salsa with roasted chiles and garlic) makes these tacos even better. This is a cheap, no-frills experience: there are no tables here, just some plastic stools to sit on. Cash only, of course.

Ran into this place randomly and I'm glad I did. I've never had birria tacos 🌮 and I'm so happy I took the plunge, in fact I'm low key upset non of my Mexican friends ever even suggested I try birria tacos but here we are. Great spot for some KFC (Korean fried chicken). Inside is cool. Plenty of seating with booths and tables. Cool neon signs. The chicken is delicious. Sides are pretty good too. They serve beer and soju. Service is good. Friendly staff. There's street meter parking or a small lot beneath the shopping center. FYI they charge for to-go containers.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t receive as much love as other K-town KFC spots. I think it’s some of the juiciest, biggest portions I’ve had. 양념 is spot on. They have so much seating space. PLUS, they have a parking garage. Maybe cause it’s a little on the border of K-town? In any case, give this place a shot!!

This was probably the best Korean Fried Chicken I've ever tasted! It was so juicy and tender, the flavor was amazing and the Rice cakes?! Oof! I love it! There was a very kind lady who was working there too who usually checked up on us and others who were around (hardly any people, it was just us and two other groups I believe) but she was sweet and she'd come rather quick when we called for customer service, anyways, I will definitely come back here.
Motionlessinbrides — Google review
Wonder why this place is usually empty. Generally, I find it pretty nice, the atmosphere, the decorations, the food is OK. Perhaps it is because of the location? Or the prices? It's a bit overpriced, but not too far from other korean restaurants that close late. There iqs another Korean restaurant not too far that got pretty busy lately as they started promoting through social media, with influencers, so perhaps that's what it needs. Also, it needs to serve korean Soju cocktails, not just soju, where one can simply buy it cheaper at the liquor store
Juan B — Google review
Came for some Korean Fried Chicken, left extremely disappointed. I paid for an 8 piece bone in. Usually in the US, that means legs and wings. This place literally wrapped up random pieces of chicken bone with some meat on it, deep fried it, and handed it to me. Believe it or not, those counted towards my 8 pieces. The restaurant also has that "old building" smell, which isn't great.
Anthony A — Google review
Upon entrance the place smelled bad. At dinner time around 7 to 8 it's empty with no customers. Being the only cuatomer we had waited almost half an hour for some chicken wings, and they tasted very mediocore, there's way better korean fried chickens out there.

Small place, went there on a Monday around 7, not too busy. We ordered 2 appetizers the spicy cauliflower and the garlic edamame both good. Spicy cauliflower was really spicy, if you do not like spice might not be for you. Then I had the yellow curry and ordered a side of rice. All delicious 😋

Restaurant
Go Go Bird is a counter-serve eatery located in Culver City's Citizen Public Market, offering a delectable selection of Asian-inspired chicken tenders, wings, and sandwiches. The gourmet fried chicken sandwich features a deep-brown crust reminiscent of L.A.'s classic Pioneer Chicken, paired with a Japanese-leaning marinade incorporating white soy, kombu, shiitake, and bonito flakes.
Solid place for fried chicken tenders and sandwiches. All the chicken is deep fried, almost like a beer batter and super juicy. Homemade Japanese ranch was excellent. This is inside of a retail space with several other eateries. We parked in the underground parking near Erewhon. Similar to the Packing District in Anaheim but smaller scale.

Absolutely love this place! I come to Go Go Bird almost every Friday, and it never disappoints. The food is always super delicious, and the team is amazing—friendly, welcoming, and consistently delivering great service. The owner greets us with a smile every week, making the experience even more special. It’s rare to find a spot that combines incredible flavors, great hospitality, and a warm atmosphere so effortlessly. We just love it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for fantastic fried chicken and a great dining experience!
Amelie N — Google review
Our friends recommended we try Go Go Bird, and we’re so glad they did! Located inside Citizen Public Market, there’s plenty of seating both indoors and out, which made for a relaxed and casual dining experience. My husband and I each ordered the tenders and upgraded one of the fries to the Szechuan fries. You can also request the tenders “spicy”, which added dry rub with chilis and other spices—we gave it a shot, but the extra heat wasn’t super noticeable. Everything is made to order, so our food came out hot and fresh. We were shocked by how huge the tenders were—definitely more filling than expected! The house pickles were a great touch, cutting through the richness of the chicken and fries with tangy balance. We couldn’t even finish our meal, and were perfectly happy to have delicious tenders for a second meal.
Sophie T — Google review
I’d say the food was slightly better than good. The chicken was moist and the batter had a good crunch but really lacking flavor. The fries were hefty and had a good crunch but also lacking flavor… Not much in the realm of service, it’s in a food hall and fast food style, you get the food and find your own seat. This is relevant for the atmosphere as well, not much of an atmosphere to talk about. Parking was across the street in a structure, were ate and walked around and it only cost $1
Sarkis M — Google review
Of all the many fried chicken joints across LA at the moment, this is my favorite. The strips are wonderfully crispy and flavorful, reminiscent of a modern take on the old classic pioneer style fried chicken, the dipping sauces are unique and tasty, particularly the Japanese ranch. And importantly, the French fries are hand cut and double fried. This is an example of a place that serves up a small menu and does it extremely well. Highly recommended!
Joe L — Google review
Ordered the Chicken Wings, Szechuan Seasoned Hand-Cut Fries, and Furikake Hand-Cut Fries. The Chicken wings and tenders are cooked similarly, delicious when hot and ready, very well seasoned. You can choose spicy or not spicy. The spicy is the way to go for some kick to the chicken. The pickles are a very light pickled cup of cucumbers, they're not as dilled as you might expect. The Japanese cheddar biscuit was a surprise, a tad sweet and somewhat unexpected, not a traditional plain biscuit. The Szechuan fries are not as hot as they seem, they feel quite tamed on the spice level. The Furikake fries are an easier choice to recommend if you like some of the nori flavor and saltiness taste to them. Both are delicious and great for sharing. Location is part of an open market space concept so it shares space with several different vendors offering unique tastes. This location does get busy so finding a place onsite to eat your food can become difficult. Parking is available at nearby public parking garage structures.

The menu offers a mix of familiar comfort dishes like kimchi pork belly and doenjang-marinated chicken, as well as inventive banchan such as spicy kimchi corn and seaweed japchae. Their dosirak (rice boxes) provide an opportunity to sample various banchan dishes. Additionally, the Korean fried chicken and crispy mandu are highly recommended.
This is a very cool place to eat and relax—I love the atmosphere. I had never tried Korean food before, but this meal changed my life. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right mix of sweet and salty. Plus, the price point was very affordable compared to other options at Grand Central Market

I was walking around the market and nothing really catched my attention until I saw their plates, I had the spicy Korean fried chicken and it was amazing, I rarely do reviews but this plate was a winner, thank you!!! I will be back

March 2024 I ordered a Korean chicken dish, which was really nice. There were plenty of pieces of nicely-spiced fried chicken served on a bed of warm rice with fresh herbs. I wouldn't mind returning.
Simon N — Google review
The pork belly was tender and flavorful. But rice was under cooked and banchan non existent. 2 leaves of lettuce, some seaweed and pinch of cole slaw is not banchan. I am a huge fan of baroo so I wanted to try here for the banchan but that part was a huge let down.

Kimchi braised pork belly was a let down for me. I came here to try this dish. Maybe it was due to the poor service at the front counter. The customer service was not good. I wish she would have been more approachable. There was a sauce that the meal could have used more of and when I asked the lady for more she was very rude about giving me more. For my first time experience I was let down. I found the pork to be too dry and the combination of ingredients off. Very little kimchi and to much rice. Overall I was hoping for some more bang for my buck.
Mytao W — Google review
I walked around the market debating what to have for dinner when this Korean restaurant grabbed my attention. They had a special for Korean fried chicken with kimchi and rice for $15 and it even came with a drink! I chose the spicy option (you could have regular as well). Once I ordered they said 10 minutes as they make it fresh which I appreciated. The chicken was perfectly crispy, with only a thin layer of breading, moist inside and a good sauce. The kimchi was flavorful and came with a mountain of white rice. A huge, delicious meal for a low cost!

I love coming here, but I do have a small issue with their food. their portion sizes and contents of the food are always inconsistent. I typically order the rice box with chicken. Often, usually it's the perfect amount, but there had been a few times where there was hardly any. other times, there would be significantly less rice than usual, or the sauces they would add on to the chicken would add either very little or none at all. I typically come by during the later evening when the market has calmed down from the rush, so I don't believe it to be staff being in a rush. It doesn't take away from the quality of the food as I think the taste is very good, but the inconsistencies have made me consider other locations.

Inside the Grand Central Market in downtown LA with many diverse food options, decided to try the Korean eatery. Ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice with fried egg, it was a smaller portion for the price though, also didn’t look like the picture. No vegetable or kimchi sides either. Better going off with their rice plate that has 3 sides just a couple dollars more.

The intimate and chef-driven restaurant Eszett brings together a seasonal selection of flavors that are influenced by both experimental and global influences. The restaurant is located on the outskirts of the city in a beautiful setting, perfect for date night or small group gatherings.
I’ve been here a few times now and I’ll keep coming back. I love that the menu changes quite often, and they feature natural wine makers. The fries are an absolute must order! The patio is really lovely. The ambience inside was lovely, though personally I found the bar stools to be quite uncomfortable.

A new age and experimental American/French cuisine spot that has some interesting dishes that are fun to try out. The interior is modern with a classic feel and they also have a heated outdoor covered seating. We started with some appetizers including the Big Fries and Chicken Wings. They have some bomb homemade hot sauces so definitely request that as well! The Big Fries have a good amount of their house salt that is crispy. It can be a bit overly salty in some areas, but still tasty. The Chicken Wings were done well with a smoky and charred outside that was yummy. Good flavor overall. For the main dish, we tried the Mushroom French Dip. Very flavorful and great play with the heartiness of the mushrooms and onion au jus dip. Great vegetarian dish! For dessert, we got both their Basque Cheesecake and Persimmon Bread Pudding. The Basque Cheesecake was done well with some tasty cherries cutting through the creaminess of it. The Persimmon Bread Pudding is winter/fall dish for sure. Heavy autumn aromatics that will bring you back to spooky/thankful season. Overall, a good restaurant to try out for some interesting dishes!

The best meal I’ve had in LA so far. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and unique. Do not skip the artichoke and grilled broccolini! The charcoal grill just brings out their flavors in the best, smoky way. Charcoal wings with the spicy salsa macha are obviously a must order too!!

This place was amazing especially the wings and shrimp toast. There cheesecake was delicious and so fluffy almost like a cake.

Love this spot. No rez and got a lucky seat on the patio. Happy Friday y’all! Thanks Eszett for being so cool and taking good care of us.

We went to this place on Sunday Night, and we love this beautiful and cute spot. Perfect for date or small group friends gathering.
Yangdi X — Google review
highlight was the fish sandwich. the potato bun was light and squishy and the fish was nicely fried. and the aioli was awesome. the hot sauce (asked for it) was so so so good! the fries were solid but not amazing, and the green salad wasn’t too exciting (too much radicchio). the corn dog! that was great. the most disappointing thing was the wine. for whatever reason i thought they’d have a good wine program but the happy hour white tasted like barefoot. the indoor space is super cute but the outdoor area didn’t offer much. altogether, probably won’t return especially at the price point but worth trying!

Nice food, good service, bad host ): We have wanted to come here for quite a while, and finally made the trip, with some friends from NY. The menu is interesting Americana w/ seasonal flare. The complex palettes are interesting. The waitress & food servers were very nice & helpful. The hostess was ride on entry, ride in the middle, and ride at the end. They auto add 20% so I guess there is no incentive? I typically tip more, if the service is strong. Smart restaurants don’t dare leave someone so clumsy at the front /: Too bad, I enjoyed the food, and it’s in our neighborhood, but too many nice places on Sunset to put up w/ that attitude. If you dare, the pumpkin was nice, the wings were delish & the bread pudding was good.

Chicken wings restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a wing experience that truly satisfies, look no further than Wings & Things. Here, you'll find generously sized, meaty wings that are a far cry from those tiny offerings at other places. These wings are hearty and flavorful, making them a perfect choice for any chicken lover. The chicken fingers also shine with their deliciousness! What’s more, you can customize your meal by requesting extra seasoning on the fries to elevate your dining experience even further.
Man I ordered like 20 mins before they closed because uber eats says they open until 2:30 am! But man those were the best wings I had in a minute.
Mileek R — Google review
These wings are good. They are big meaty wings. These are not the tiny juvenile chicken wings you get at Wingstop that make you feel bad for the chicken. These are real wings. The chicken fingers were also real good. Very enjoyable.
Kenneth B — Google review
Ordered here for the first time. Lady rushed our order which I understand but get the order right. the food was mediocre at best. Tiny serving of fries. Wings dried ( when asked for extra wet) with a few simple modifications this would be a 4/5 stars.
Jasmine — Google review
I ordered them through door dash and they always got my food wrong twice and this time they gave me two tenders that were raw and I know how raw looks since I’ve worked a fryer before and know when something isn’t cooked right Last and final time I order from there
Frankie V — Google review
Today i ordered 20 wings from this place 1 buffalo and 1 chipotle. The wings arent seasoned at all. the wings were overcooked and hard. they were inedible. They Smell and taste like burnt tires. wouldnt recommend. 999 wings and things must do time
Random U — Google review
This place does not even deserve a star - ordered several times - order was never right / missing or substituted items; I was hesitant giving them a bad review but not that his issue has been happening the third time I hv no choice; onion rings are always burned to a crisp and total inconsistency with the size of the wing / some nice and plump some skin and bone -
Adrianna B — Google review
The wings are really good here. You can ask for extra seasoning on the fries to get them just right. Service and staff are all kind and courteous. Thank you Wings n Things!!
Eric W — Google review
I would give zero stars. They receive orders from parties like Postmates and DoorDash and pretend they never got the orders. This place won’t last long. Make sure to not risk your money here with these type of people. They should be out of business soon enough.

Japanese restaurant
Izakaya restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a unique dining experience, Yojimbo is a must-visit. Known for its dry-style teba shio chicken wings, these crispy delights are seasoned with salt and sansho pepper, perfect for those who prefer their wings without heavy sauces. Pair them with spicy yuzu mayo for an extra kick! But that's just the beginning—Yojimbo also serves some of the best donburi bowls outside Japan.
On a recent trip to LA I went here for dinner with a couple of friends. I was looking for a nicer version of Yoshinoya (which I still love), and what I got was so much more than that. Full disclosure: the previous night I had met the restaurant manager/chef and he invited me to check out the place. Anyway, we got there and said hello to Keisuke, the manager, before we sat down. What follow was an evening of conversation while sampling appetizers, entrées, deserts and sake. The food is simply amazing and the sake is just 🤯. The wings were sweet and spicy at the same time, crispy and juicy. The donburi bowls were flavorful and filling. I couldn’t get enough of the chili cucumbers !! It was all so good. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thank you Keisuke for a wonderful meal I won’t soon forget.
A. V — Google review
I have a lot of friends that have spoken very highly about Yojimbo, so when I saw a last-minute special order deal pop up, I jumped at the chance to try this beloved neighborhood spot. When I got to the restaurant, sadly my app special deal, could not be fulfilled. I was kind of bummed because I was really excited to try the spot, but the owner, I think, or maybe the manager told me to wait a couple of minutes while he whipped something up. Couple minutes later I was presented with a bag and I was on my way. After a few minutes my phone alerted me with an email stating that my order had been canceled by Yojimbo and I was fully refunded. So I was honestly really shocked to have received a package with hot freshly prepared food. To my surprise it was a sized order of seasoned fries with a really yummy Yuzu Mayo dipping sauce. Quite honestly this restaurant didn't have to do this much. And I'm really thankful for the kind gesture. I have to say the fries are amazing and if I lived closer to the area I would definitely be ordering these every Friday night for me and my girlfriend to enjoy while we watch our favorite shows after work. Two thumbs up for the delicious fries, and two gigantic thumbs up for the awesome staff. Definitely will check this place out again.
Ark B — Google review
My mom had seen an article on LA Eater (via Facebook) about Yojimbo. She's lived in Japan and is very picky when it comes to fresh fish, Japanese food, and rice. We decided to try Yojimbo and ordered family style. HOLY MOLY... This place didn't disappoint. Everything was incredible and the service was fantastic. I can't wait to come back and recommend this to all my friends!!
Elissa T — Google review
So excited to have tried Yojimbo. The dishes are all unique and so delicious. I def recommend the Gyu-Don bowl and the green bean side. Also make sure you get extra of the homemade teriyaki sauce. Can’t wait to go back for more.
James U — Google review
The best donburi bowls I've eaten outside of Japan itself! I took the fam here for dinner and this place blew my expectations out of the water. Between all of us, I sampled most of the menu. Each and every dish really sings. The chicken in my Tori-don was cooked to perfection: flavorfully blackened on the outside and juicy on the inside. But what's crazy is the chicken wasn't even the star of the show. The authentically pickled plum, cabbage, radish and other sides took everything to the next level. Every bite is brimming with the bright delicious flavors that you expect from the very best of Japanese cuisine. Cannot recommend enough!
Mike W — Google review
such a good dinner! we ordered a bunch of small plates and the gyu-don dip. food came out super fast, and everything tasted high quality and clearly made with care. highlight was the chili cucumber for sure — i wanted to lick the bowl lol.
Christina N — Google review
Seriously so good! Three of us ordered a lot of share plates and loved them all, stand outs were the green beans, cucumbers, fries and tebasaki wings. Great price to quality / food ratio
Cali — Google review
Great Japanese home style food on Fairfax that you could expect from South Bay, with some modern flair and premium ingredients. Recommend the gyudon which is quite a big portion and make two small meals, kaisen don has good fish selection with freshly grated wasabi, and the Peads & Barnett pork tenderloin katsudon is good.
