This little spot is nestled away from the main road by a block or so, and it really makes a difference in the vibe of this place! You look outside to see a small field, and they do have a patio! Me and my girlfriend both got salads, and the presentation was definitely insta-worthy! They ball up all of the toppings in the center of the plate. The drinks were good as well, but in my opinion, slightly overpriced for what you get. I would say it's a mid-price range place, as our bill for two people was over $80.

I had the beet goes on, goat cheese, arugula, and beets ... can never go wrong with that combo! The pepino was a very delicious refreshing drink, very light flavor which I particularly enjoy. I wouldn't recommend the mushroom stew, and some of the foods can be on the spicier side so check ahead of time. Tried all 3 desserts, the chocolate torte was really rich and delicious. The atmosphere was the best part!

This place was amazing. The salad was big and filling. It is pretty pricey but it was worth it. I ordered the beet goes on salad with steak and it was great. I also order the liver lover drink. There was a lot of cayenne and it was a bit spicier than I would have liked but if you like a spiced kick then you’ll love that drink. The staff was wonderful and so friendly. We sat outside in the grass area and it was beautifully arranged. I would definitely recommend and I hope to go back soon.

I ordered out! They were very quick & friendly. I ordered the Asian salad with tuna. You get 3oz of tuna with the order and my total was $35 for just the salad & meat add on. It was a great salad but not any better than the others around that have very similar items for a much lesser price tag. I don’t think I’ll be coming again for a takeaway lunch but definitely want to come back to check out their cocktails. The menu looks amazing.

Vinaigrette never disappoints! I dropped in around 4:30 pm and had the best experience. A huge shout-out to Heather (the 'night' one!) for her truly amazing service. She was incredibly kind and attentive during the few hours I was there. Service like that is why I keep coming back. She deserves all the praise!

I’ve lived near to this restaurant for a couple of years before finally giving it a try. It’s tasty but a bit overpriced for what it is. Most salads will run you over $20 and they charge $2 for bread. If you want to add proteins to your salad you’re easily approaching $30 for a salad that fills about 1/2 - 2/3 a dinner plate. The menu is creative and the food is good, but it’s definitely more of a dining destination than a place to hang out - which is what their location is more set up for (similar to say a Bouldin Creek cafe). They also don’t have WiFi and charge a (small, 2%) kitchen appreciation fee which you have to pay attention to the receipt to notice. If I’m in the mood for a fancy salad and a more upscale dining experience this is definitely the spot for it. A bit pricey for a quick salad and a drink spot, though.

Previously we had only done pick up orders which were all great but last night was my first time dining in. The outdoor space has a wonderful ambiance and is dog friendly. The food was fantastic and I loved our server - I think her name was Heather. Definitely worth your time and money.

First time here, reminded me of a Mad-greens, quick counter service, pricey almost $50 for two regular salads! Pesto chicken, avocados artichoke hearts were all extra, tip and two fountain drinks. Had the iced green tea, with a splash of the prickly pear lime made. Basic booths, and hard booths to dine in. Filling, & tasty, did the trick but just too pricey!

A bit pricey, however this may very well have been the best salad I’ve ever had.

I love this place! I’m fascinated by the fact that there’s no limit to the toppings you can add to your salad. All the vegetables feel incredibly fresh, and the attention and service are excellent. I’ve never ordered for delivery, so I’m not sure how it would arrive if you order it that way — I’ve only visited the location in person.

It was our first time visiting and it was very good! The regular salad is enough for 2 people or make 2 meals out of it. Pro tip: Have then portion out your salad for to go with the dressing on the side and bam, 2 meals! I tried the salata mix with almost all the veggies, avocado jalapeño dressing and chipotle chicken! Great salad!

This is my second time ordering at this location. The portion is terrible! My salad is half the order that I pay for. There’s not much chicken either. I will definitely not be coming back!

I have frequent this place. Many of times and never, nor once have I encountered such rude service. Whoever made Wilmer, I think that's his name, shiff lead. Needs to be questioned. The guy is very unprofessional, rude, not customer friendly at all. when I was placing my order, like i've done fifty times before the guy was just being very pushy, trying to rush and being very short on the portions, and when I asked for additional, he was hesitant and didn't want to do it. Then he began to talk in Spanish to his co-worker and handed me off to her what a sarcastic look on his face. as I said before, this guy is very unprofessional, and I can only imagine that that he's done this before with other people, I kind of feel that the location is not gonna do anything to this guy so I'm going to push this up the chain up the corporate ladder, until I get a response that is suitable For the treatment that was given

Vegetarian/vegan restaurant with some excellent food. Love it, especially the breakfast blueberry cornbread. Vibe is very unique-Austin. Indoor and outdoor seating area. Bar as well with some beer, wine, and cider options. Especially enjoyed the desserts.

We came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The menu is great, with lots of vegetarian options to choose from. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was especially good. The service was also lovely, our waitress was kind and attentive. The space inside is bright and open, with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. There’s also a patio area outside if you prefer to sit outdoors. Prices are reasonable, and overall it’s a great spot for a tasty vegetarian meal. The only thing that gave us pause was something we noticed when we arrived after 9 am. As we walked past the side of the building, we saw several boxes of eggs sitting outside near what looked like a storage or utility area. It was already quite hot outside (we’re in Texas, after all), and we weren’t sure how long the eggs had been there. That raised some food safety concerns. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. The food was excellent, and it’s a really nice place to spend a morning

I love this place. Staff is great, huge vegan menu, business is committed to progressive community building. It gets packed on the weekends so I prefer to come during the week, but anytime you can get a seat is a great time to come. Also look how beautiful this Moroccan summer bowl was. Incredible vibes 👌🏼As a vegan in Austin I would say Bouldin is basically the center of the orbit.

On a mission to explore iconic local spots in Austin, I made my next stop at Bouldin Creek Cafe—and it did not disappoint. The “weird” and cozy interior (and exterior!) totally embraces the Keep Austin Weird vibe in the best way. The atmosphere is laid-back and full of character. The food? Super affordable and packed with flavor. I tried the Avocado Toast, Predictable Breakfast, Chalupa, and Spicy Pesto—all were fantastic. It’s a great place for vegetarians, too. If you're visiting Austin and want something local, artsy, and delicious, this spot should definitely be on your list.

An awesome vegan place that feels like modern, visibly enticing and touches the taste palettes to a dreamy place. Loved each and everything and definitely bound to return again. With good portion sizes, the plates are good for sharing. Excellent service and a great vibe that definitely reminds you, you are in Austin. Had to wait for over 45min for the table and that wait is definitely worth every minute.

We were in Austin to visit the State Capital, and I was amazed with all the vegan restaurants. In North Texas where I come from, people don't know what a vegan restaurant is. 😀 There was a small wait because we got there at lunch time. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I enjoyed my Lady Bird salad, which was huge and filled with local produce. The ginger flavored lemonade was also good. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

I am not vegetarian or vegan, but happened to come upon this place while looking for coffee and a place to work for a few hours while in town. I have traveled worldwide and this was by far one of the best omelets I have ever had! Hostess incredibly nice and staff was attentive. I will 100% be coming back when I'm in town again!

I’ve been looking for a place just like this for quite some time! Cute casual cafe in an old house. Really tasty sandwiches. Fast service. Fairly priced. Went at 1pm on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes but was able to snag a seat inside. Will definitely go back

We stopped here because it looked nice on the reviews , got a chicken classic and a chicken with eggplant both were sandwiches and they were soooooo good and they have a nice outside seating area. The only disappointment was that it comes with a skimpy side cucumber salad and NO chips, you have to purchase them separately. For over $12.00 for a great sandwich you would think they give you a less then $1 chip bag. 😜

It’s on the pricier side, but overall we enjoyed our visit. That said, I walked away still feeling hungry and when you spend around $60 for two people, you kind of expect to leave full. The sandwiches don’t come with chips, so you’re just getting the sandwich unless you order sides separately. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it it just didn’t hit the mark for me. My wife had the Apple Pork Tenderloin and Chicken Pozole Soup, and she absolutely loved both. Like she said, it’s not really a BBQ place, so I probably expected something it’s not meant to be. One downside: they didn’t have ice for the drinks. When my wife asked, the staff said they’d get some, but it never came. It’s a small thing, but still disappointing. My company uses FoodHeads all the time for our catering needs. They’ve been a great vendor for us over the years. Very prompt with their deliveries. We either do their box lunches if we have a smaller group or their deconstructed sandwich platters for larger groups. Their sandwiches are very yummy. My favorite being their chicken caesar sandwich. It’s so good. I still haven’t been to their actual location here in town but I need to give it a visit some time!

Looks like a home which may have seen better times at first. But once inside transforms into a very cozy and quaint place. Refreshing change from conventional settings. We ordered two vegetarian sandwiches. Both tasted great with fresh ingredients and delightful condiments. Atmosphere is great with students, makes one. Energetic. Love this place and will go back.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my wife ordered the chicken and eggplant sandwich. She thoroughly enjoyed every bite of her sandwich and even shared it with some friends. She highly recommends it. My sandwich was good. I was happy with the ciabatta bread and the meat had a slight spice to it that was good. I did really enjoy the atmosphere both inside and outside. The food was well portioned, fresh and most importantly, tasted amazing!!! I ordered the salmon salad and BLT sandwich. Both exceeded my expectations! Not only was the food amazing, the staff was on top of their game too. In the short time, while waiting for my food, I interacted with 4 friendly/welcoming staff members. I enjoyed my overall experience and can only recommend to stop by and try it for yourself!

AWESOME... The Reuben is unbelievably delicious. Whatever in the world they do on that pepperoni pizza they're not gonna find one like it in super thin crust delicious... fantastic beer really cool staff great place to hang out.. however if you are the owner or owner investors and you come from California… if you are happy in Texas and understand the market you will understand you have a problem now satisfying the local Texans who have accepted you and want to hang out outside day or night and enjoy what you have to offer, and people from California, and make fun of your clientele. You don't live there anymore you live here. love what you have I'd love to hang outside and love everything that makes Austin Austin, don't listen to the people who come in from outside from your former state and close down the outside area and feel shamed into rejecting what Texas has to offer. The vibe is lively without being overwhelming; the music is at a perfect level so you can still have a conversation without shouting. The food is solid (think great bar eats done right), and the drinks are exactly what you’d hope for in a local brewery. All in all, it’s an easygoing, fun spot to hang out—whether you’re starting your night, winding it down, or just looking for a good meal and a pint in a laid-back Austin setting.

Large brewery with extensive list of drink and food options to enjoy at their many indoor air conditioned tables or outdoor shaded picnic tables. As of October 2025 their happy hour is Tuesday to Thursday 4p-6p, Friday 11a-6p, and Sunday 7p-9p. The brewery also has axe throwing, a private party room, and hosts fun events like Austin Flea. For a full afternoon of entertainment, they are located next to a coffee house, a climbing gym, and just down from Blue Genie. They share a free parking lot with adjacent businesses, and there is free street parking as well.

This place is nice! They have tons of beer, and it’s a huge space. The service is really good. The pretzel was just okay. The fried chicken sandwich was really good! They were showing NFL games on the projector.

This is a very large brewery with a great beer selection. I also had some mead, wine, and Frozen concoctions. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Plenty of table seating. Would definitely recommend!!

Great food! Great brews! And VIBES! Bartender was hilarious. Also, free axe throwing is unheard of… thought about keeping it a secret but the people deserve to know - definitely Austin’s best kept secret. Also don’t skip the beer tasting - great price and tried some ipa tasting Pilsner and actually really liked it! (I typically hate ipa)

We came here while we were on a quick trip to Austin. The service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food delicious. We had the smorgasbord and mac-n-cheese with pork belly. We had a great visit. The pretzel with queso was delicious. My review shows that the restaurant is a $50-100 restaurant. We spent that much because we had other things. I would say $10-20, or $15-30.

I'm from out of town. The first time there was a very friendly place. If confused or had questions, they were very happy to help and assist you with ordering. The salmon salad and the.cobb salad were good and well portioned. Loved the place and recommend it for its good tasting food and would definitely go there on my next trip here to Austin

The salad is good. The atmosphere feels like a truck store rest stop. I suppose that’s fine because the food was good. It’s a bit hard to find if you don’t use a GPS. One that that was (slightly) annoying was they claimed to offer 4% savings if you pay cash, but it turns out the prices listed ARE the cash savings, and if you pay with a credit card; you pay MORE. I feel they could have explained this better. The salads we got were good, although no better or worse than many other salad restaurants. Overall I enjoyed it, but nothing wow’d me.

It's so hard to eat healthy and cheap especially with lots of food allergies. The folks who run this place are so darn nice and every time the food comes out great. Don't let the location fool you, this is a gem and I wish them all the success I got the gyro salad this time!

Fresh and varied salad choices. The server makes the salad in front of you using your choices. I chose the Cobb salad with chicken. Eggs , chicken, and the avocado were all cooked and prepared on premise. Sure beats fast food salads. They. also have burgers and other sandwiches... maybe next time. The location is hidden, but it is there.

Salas we're good and toppings were fresh. My only complaint is that the staff did not ask if we had any questions or needed assistance choosing our food. They both just stared at us for 10 minutes until we made up our mind on what to order. When I asked for the club salad, the guy started making the salad and when I said I wanted salmon he took everything off the salad and said that it was a different salad. I wanted the same salad but with salmon I don't think he understood that. Also, just a heads up the salmon is not prepared fresh. That's the other worker cut it out of a plastic pouch. Also, I was charged extra for my protein even though I ordered a salad with protein on it. I feel the salmon should have been allowed as a sub for protein, or at least a dollar or two more-- not $6. Also, my husband got Falafel and it was gross. No seasoning and it was dry. Overall, I was okay. There could be more dressing selection and the chicken was tough and hard :( $65 for three salads were insane!

This might be the worst salad I've ever ate. I got the chicken cesar with pesto chicken. The chicken is rubbery and the salad overall has a bitter taste. Im not sure if its the basil in the pesto that went bad, or the lettuce, or the dressing but it is very unappetizing. Nothing against this place personally and not trying to be mean, but just sharing an honest opinion.

I've visited Honest Mary's a few times now, and I'm generally impressed with the quality of their food and the freshness of their ingredients. The portions are also quite generous, so you're sure to leave feeling satisfied. However, there was one instance where the service was a bit slow. We placed an online order for pickup, and it took over 20 minutes for our food to be ready. Other customers who arrived after us received their food before we did. Overall, I would recommend Honest Mary's for a healthy and satisfying meal. Just be aware that there may be some delays, especially during peak hours.

A very pleasant meal. The interior is warm and inviting. The menu takes a much healthier take on "Make Your Own Bowl" type places. I enjoyed the Golden Grain bowl. Also, they may be the only place in town that serves delicious broth in to-go cups.

When I’m in Austin Honest Mary’s is always on the list of delicious, healthy and reasonably priced dinner “to go” meals! Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. I choose to “build my own Bowl”! Everything tastes fresh and … as an added bonus… the food is always healthy for me too! Thank you for providing this healthy and delicious restaurant!!!

I ordered a build your own bowl with the garlic pepper steak and the steak itself was dry and chewy. For the price of the bowl I would expect better quality steak. The rest of the ingredients like the roasted sweet potatoes and the cucumber salad were great. The yogurt dressing was very good too. Service was good and fast. I wish they had more beverages.

Local, family owned, locally based chain of delicious “bowl” food. Think Chipotle’s grown up and healthier sibling. My order is half arugula, half spinach, steak, mushrooms, edamame, avocado, and curried cauliflower. It was all so good I almost forgot about the sauce. The spicy peanut was a nice compliment for the curried cauliflower. My kids beg me to come here. It is healthy and yummy food for all. Dedicated lot for the strip plaza it is in. Excellent spot. Top of its game for what it is.

I’ve tried it twice, the first time was poke and it smelled so fishy and not light and fresh, couldn’t finish it cause of the smell the permeated all other ingredients. Just tried again and they made the menu bowl on top of my customized bowl. Had several ingredients didn’t want such as jalepenos. I could t even mix it due to them trying to stuff everything

The steak salad was the best thing we had. I had one of the specials and it honestly was cooked well but had almost no flavor. Staff was attentive and polite, and had great recommendation. Atmosphere was relaxed, great for a chill evening solo or a date night. If I was in the area again I would come back.

Super good. The Autumn Old Fashioned is chefs kiss. Our server, Doug Walker, was really good. He was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. He also made it a really fun experience for us. I asked him to take a photo and he took a selfie with him in it! Lol love that.

Right away, the waiter gave us a little plate of pimiento cheese, which I wanted to try! I had spinach pasta that tasted amazing with bread. The migas were different but okay. The chocolate cake was small but really rich. I want to go back!

It is very rare to get almost every dishes top notch when you order 5-6 dishes. We ordered Slow Braised Barbacoa Enchiladas, Pesto marinated crab stuffed chicken, Grilled Ruby Trout, Ruby Red Trout Salad & Southern Crispy chicken Sandwich. Hats off to them for flawless super delicious dishes. Also they greeted us with small on the house appetizers which was mouthwatering.

Excellent spot for a Sunday brunch. Mimosas were good and fair priced. We had the Spinach Gorgonzola Ravioli as an appetizer and then the Barbacoa Benedict and 13 Spiced Chicken Pasta for entrees. Very delicious meals with nice presentation. Exceptional service by Allie L!!!! It was one of our first times there and she brought us a sample of their house pimento cheese. It was great!

I had some more Jack Allen’s today with the family under my recommendation. It was a great choice once again, no complaints. I had the stacked pancakes on the brunch menu and everything tasted just right. I’ll be back to try the Still Austin bourbon!

Unfortunately they’re getting pretty sloppy with curbside especially. When I spoke to a manager about things missing and the way they made the salad, her words were apologetic, but unfortunately her tone was not. This was so disappointing because this is the one place I really thought I could count on stellar customer service excellence.

First time here and came for an early lunch before traveling. This place was amazing! Jamie at the bar was very knowledgeable on the menu and let us taste test the crawfish étouffée ( the best ever by the way). Everything was really good. Would for sure come back if I’m ever in the area.

Delicious Experience at Cypress Grill! I had the Orleans Shrimp Salad at Cypress Grill and it was absolutely fantastic. The shrimp were juicy and perfectly blackened, packed with bold Cajun flavor without being overpowering. The salad itself was fresh, crisp, and generously portioned — every ingredient felt thoughtfully selected and well-balanced. You can taste the love and attention that went into this dish. It was light yet satisfying, and easily one of the best shrimp salads I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

You get some amazing food here at Cypress Grill. I enjoyed every bite of everything, and the service was amazing, too. It was a bit of a wait when we went, but we sat at the patio, although a little hot and humid just because we didn't want to wait. There were fans outside, so it wasn't too bad. Can't wait to come back again.

Immaculate service and delicious food. This small diner is always packed and is guaranteed to have a wait, but the wait is worth it. Every dish we tried for brunch was incredible.

New Orleans is best known for its Mardi Gras festivities: glitzy parades, Bourbon Street bars, and smooth jazz throughout the French Quarter. The Big Easy is also known for its delectable Cajun food, a cusine uniquely American, and made popular by chefs like Paul Prudhomme, Justin Wilson, and Emeril Lagasse. If you're jonesing for a cup of gumbo or a plate of jambalaya, you can drive over to the Crescent City in seven and a half hours, or hop on a plane that will cut that trip to under two hours. Either solution seems expensive and time-consuming. Don't fret, Cypress Grill has you covered. When I visited the restaurant last week, we (my wife and I) tried a lot of food to really get a taste of their version of NOLA bayou cooking. Appetizers: We tried tried the Crawfish Eggrolls ($10.99) and the Boudin Balls ($8.99). I preferred the eggrolls that were stuffed with cheddar jack cheese and jalapeños in addition to fresh crawfish tail meat. While the cheese and jalapeños dominated the first burst of flavor, the crawfish muscle their way through at the finish. Look inside the rolls, Cypress does not skimp on the meat. My wife preferred the more subtle flavor of the Bouldin Balls, saying the pork sausage and bread crumb mix blended harmoniously and was best when dipped in the house remoulade sauce. For the main course, my wife was polite and went for one of the house specialties, Atchafalya Catfish ($18.99). I can't pronounce it, so here's what's in it. You take a piece of catfish, bread it, and fry it. Throw it on a bed of dirty rice and completely smother it in Crawfish Etouffée. For those not familiar with what is an etouffée, it's where you poach your protein in a sauce using a boatload of spices, and of course Louisiana's "holy trinity" of peppers, onions and celery to create a roux. Then you hydrate it. I know that's oversimplifying it. This is not a cooking class. FYI: Etouffée roughly translates to "smother," so when I said earlier they "completely smother it in Crawfish Etouffée," the first smother is a bit redundant. English teachers, am I wrong? Oh, the fish is...delicious! Fatty Matty the Cajun Piggy, that's me, couldn't make up his mind. So I ordered a Quarter Muffuletta ($11.99), Jambalaya ($10.99) and two sides the Red Beans & Rice and the Cheese Grits You get 1-2 sides with entrées, otherwise they are $1.99-$2.99 each. The Red Beans and Rice were killer. I wish my friend David Butler would have been here with me to give them his blessing. He's from New Orleans and makes that dish from scratch. The jambalaya was also really good. There was no skimping on the andouille sausage or the chicken. I kicked it up a notch by having them add a special Cajun spice on top to increase the heat. My waitress further hooked me up and brought me a bottle of Yellow Bird Habanero Hot Sauce. BOOM! Mouth explosion. Yeah, it was...fire! The cheese grits were very smooth and perfectly salted. Before I dove into my muffuletta, I asked the waitress if I had tried any other sides. She said yes and brought me a small sample of the mustard greens. I'm so glad she did. There was no bitter aftertaste, and clearly, someone in the kitchen knows how to properly use pork in the recipe. DON'T, forget to order these when you come. My food coma was starting to set in at this point, probably helped on by the Abita beers. My wife and I each tried a small piece of the muffuletta and saved the rest to take home. Cypress Grill duplicated Central Grocery's masterpiece, masterfully (again, English teachers, can I say that)? Long review, so look up both the Central Grocery to see the history of the muffuletta and what's actually in it. Fantastic service, good ambiance, and amazing food. The place was packed and on a wait most of the time we were there. Clearly, people love them and their tasty Cajun treats. Oooowe!

We had a really poor experience with the waiter assigned to our table. He wasn’t friendly and seemed like he didn’t want to wait on us. He dropped off our waters and came to tell us his shift ended, introducing us to a new waitress. He remained in the restaurant serving another table and being friendly with them. When we left he was still there working. It was clear he didn’t want to wait on us. This made it to where we all felt uncomfortable being there. The only difference between that table and ours was our skin color. They were white and we are Hispanic. The waitress was nicer but seemed bothered with us at the end when we asked for separate checks and mentioned a price error on something we ordered. She came back upset placing our cards down without making eye contact and said have a nice day, bye. We walked past several employees on the way out and one acknowledged us leaving. Just an awful experience.

After trying Taverna and Maggiano’s, we felt like we had to give North Italia a try as another Italian spot in The Domain. Parking is pretty easy to find with the pink garage nearby and lot parking behind the restaurant. Setting a reservation is quick and seamless as well as the check-in process. We were quickly seated with high hopes and here’s what we found… The service was okay. Our waiter had a pretty easy job, we ordered our things immediately and he answered a question or two we had about the menu. We didn’t have our water glasses refilled until we were done with our entire meal and ready to pack it up to go, which isn’t the biggest deal but the restaurant was pretty empty at dinner time. The food, likewise, was okay. We ordered the white truffle garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and spicy rigatoni vodka. The best part of everything was the white truffle garlic bread. We got it without the white truffle but the ricotta with the bread was delicious and a great way to start the meal. Unfortunately, everything after that was very much bland or not quite there. The spaghetti and meatballs didn’t taste like anything you can’t make at home with a bit of cooking knowledge and the spicy rigatoni vodka had so many different textures that the entire meal felt uneven. The rigatoni was al dente, the sauce was thin, the meat had different textures with different bites. Just very underwhelming. For what it is, North Italia isn’t bad. However, if you’re looking for a good Italian dinner you can get better at Taverna or even Maggiano’s where the setting and food are better for the same or lower cost. Maybe other dishes are better and we can try another time, we just weren’t wowed here, especially after looking at the final bill.

You could tell she was juggling a lot, but she handled it with such professionalism and a great attitude. Truly appreciated her effort — she made our experience wonderful!

Great suggestion by our daughter for lunch. The salads were generous with wonderful flavor combinations. The shrimp scampi was 5 stars by itself! We enjoyed the zucchini chips-heavenly....cue angelic music. In addition, we also ordered GF Prosciutto Pizza, topped with goat cheese, Prosciutto, figs, and arugula...simply amazing. Our table of six was sat quickly right around 1pm walk up. We sat inside (quite air conditioned), but the outside seating (covered-fans) was lovely, too. Though we did not part-take, the drink options were abundant and offered everything from sodas and mocktails to beautiful martinis. Go enjoy one when you check them out!

I stopped by North Italia and decided to try the Strawberry and Cream French Toast. The toast was perfectly golden and fluffy, topped with fresh strawberries and a dreamy mascarpone cream that melted in my mouth. The flavors were rich but not overwhelming, and every bite was delicious! Beautifully presented, too! If you’re a brunch lover or have a sweet tooth, this is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for another plate soon!

The hostesses were both lovely, the food delicious, and the waitress Brianne was so attentive, helpful, and sweet. Will definitely be coming back. We had the tortellini al pomodoro, which was so filling and well flavored.

We’ve been to True Food Kitchen about four times now, and it’s become one of our favorite spots downtown. These photos are from two consecutive visits—we went back the very next day after trying the meatloaf because it was that good. We didn’t get the meatloaf again the second time, but everything we’ve tried has been fresh and consistently well-prepared. The service has been reliable, and the food experience keeps us coming back. Definitely a place we plan to return to again.

Solid 4.0 stars. Found this restaurant while looking for a healthy eating option. Service was good. The cauliflower was very tasty - just wished the portion was slightly bigger! Chicken Parmesan was fair as the air fried chicken was a tad soggy once the dish was brought to the table. Overall for our late lunch with tip, the meal ran close to $100.

My guest and I ate lunch here for the first time, mainly due to their dedication to the use of healthy oils and whole foods. Let me say that we loved everything that we ate. It was all good and perfectly prepared. We started with the Mediterranean hummus and grass feed meatloaf sliders. The hummus was served in a healthy portion and accompanied by some warm and moist flatbread. In addition we ordered some colorful and fresh vegetables (for $2. More) they were colorful, light, crisp and fulfilled our need for crunchy veggies. The sliders (2) arrived at the same time and delivered a big flavor punch for their small package. The nicely sized patty had a big burger taste, served on a flakey, buttery biscuit, with sweet caramelized onions, smoked Gouda and horseradish sauce. Although we didn’t taste much meatloaf but more burger, the flavor pallet of these combined items were perfect. We didn’t need to add anything, not even the provided au jus sauce. The salad was made of fresh crisp lettuce and vegetables that delivered a clean, well assembled flavor. The carrot ginger dressed was fresh and tasteful as well. My only critique here is the amount of chicken that was on (or shall I say, not on) the salad. I would have liked to have a bit more. Especially if someone is considering making this dish their meal. My guest and I shared these three items and both left feeling full. The atmosphere was nice, clean, well lit, and at a good temperature. The service was good, our needs were quickly met, dishes were coursed well and all with a smile. We will be back, thank you True Food Kitchen

This place was perfect for lunch . I got the lunch trio the kale drink, the Thai basil chicken wrap and the market salad. Both were really good and great portions. The staff was very friendly and it was very spacious environment with diverse seating options. They also had Wi-Fi so I was able to do work and the music was not too loud. I really enjoyed this place and the food was awesome for a great price. I would definitely recommend.

It was so cute in there. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful and our waiter (Kobe/Colby?? I didn’t hear his name fully lol) was extremely helpful in helping me find food that was gluten free and dairy free and even went back to the kitchen to ask to make 100% sure! The salmon was amazing and so was the berry tart! The pesto pasta with the chicken added was also a hit!

Our server Blondina was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and generously portioned. The zero proof spicy margaritas were tasty as well as the iced americano. Would definitely come back.

It was brilliant. I had the asian grain bowl and added tofu. Since it was $5 to add tofu, i thought it'd be about half of the tofu cube or more in portion but it wasn't a lot. The sweet potato was slightly undercooked. A bit expensive than the quality of the food. The experience itself was good. I think the dish is inspired by Bibimbap. I wish i knew they validate parking earlier. I didn't know that and i was rushing myself to eat fast.

Geraldine’s captures the Austin vibe with style. The live music was fantastic, bringing real energy to the room and creating a setting that felt alive and connected to the city’s creative heart. The infused Tito’s cosmopolitan was a standout. It was smooth, balanced, and had just enough of a twist to make it memorable. The short rib was rich and flavorful, perfectly cooked and deeply satisfying. For anyone dairy-free, though, this may not be the easiest spot. Most dishes contained dairy, and the kitchen wasn’t able to offer alternatives or adjustments. That made the menu pretty limiting. Geraldine’s delivers a strong experience overall, especially for the music and cocktails. Just keep dietary restrictions in mind when planning your visit.

I am particular about my food. This restaurant is fantastic. We had a super dinner there and another fantastic breakfast. The service was fantastic. The music was good. The food was absolutely perfect,and very unique as well. Congrats to the Exec Chef, management and staff. I will always come here when visiting Austin.

A decent brunch spot with live music. The restaurant is located in Hotel Van Zandt on the fourth floor. Upon entering the lobby, there is a single elevator immediately to the right that takes you up to the restaurant. The restaurant has a nice brunch vibe with lively chatter and music. The brunch menu is smaller than the dinner menu, but has enough options to select from. The biscuits come with a lovely honey butter and jam. The burger is solid for a restaurant burger. I would recommend requesting to add lettuce or spring mix in it or on the side as the burger is very meaty. There are two smash-style patties, bacon, egg, cheese, and pickles. The fries have a nice herb seasoning.

Went for the jazz brunch, the musicians were great and the ambiance was top too. It wasn't too loud and we were able to carry conversation without having to shout or worry about loud tables. The downside was definitely the eggs benedict. It was a tad overpriced, undercooked, and surprisingly, had too much truffle. It was served with a wilted salad that soaked up the egg and hollandaise sauce to a gross extent. The fries and chicken sandwich were quite good however. Make sure to get the cinnamon rolls, they were delicious.

Me and my family loved coming to this place everyday when we were on vacation! The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and very helpful! The General Manager Lauren is fantastic too! The food and coffee is delicious here especially the Challah French Toast! They make a really good mocha coffee here too. Their regular coffee/latte is delicious too! I would highly recommend stopping if you are in Austin!!!!!!!!

Nice healthier spot for breakfast or a nice lunch. They make decaf coffee if you need decaf. The macaroons were delicious. The granola in the bowl in the picture felt very fresh. I didn’t feel like it came out of a bag in the sprinkle. The overall restaurant was similar, best way to describe it is that it doesn’t feel like it comes out of containers and then it is put together. Easy walking to on Congress affordable. Seating is typical for 2 to 6 people

Walton’s Fancy and Staple is a bakery/cafe with a decent variety of options to choose from as well as a quaint and welcoming interior. We went on a warm afternoon when it wasn’t too busy and looking for a quick sweet treat. Since it’s directly on 6th be mindful of parking since that may be an issue, just as a heads up. There’s a good assortment of pastries to choose from and we settled on a chocolate birthday cake macaroon and one of their chocolate hearts. The workers seem very happy and friendly but they did take a while to work through the line and also get our stuff ready to go. Once we got our things we ended up taking it to go but ate it within a few minutes of stepping out. The chocolate birthday cake macaroon was good, but not stellar. It does a good job as tasting as it would be advertised, but it wasn’t anything we felt you couldn’t get at another bakery. Similarly, the chocolate heart was good, but not as good as you would expect for something coming out of a place dedicated to baking. That might seem a bit harsh, but let us clarify that their baked goods are much better than store bought, just not as good as we had hoped them to be. We will definitely be back if in the area to give them another shot, hopefully for brunch so we can try out some more of their other options as well.

Stopped in to check out the bakery and wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly and quick service! Parking is a little challenging but it’s worth the effort. They had a good variety of items. Fig Brie Pecan tart, Strawberry Chocolate Croissant and Mixed Berry cake yummy!! Love how beautiful the cake was decorated too!

I was excited to order the Caesar wrap since I’ve heard it’s the best in town, and spent about $30 for it including delivery fees + tip. The chicken is so chewy and dry… I had to chew each bite 100 times and after a few bites I gave up and threw it away. They need to make fresh chicken, not use old stuff… especially when they charge $18+tax for 1 wrap.

Top notch service, easy to park in the garage at south congress hotel. I ordered the green lettuces salad ($16) and added smoked salmon ($12). Paired with their seasonal iced strawberry matcha. Really enjoyed sitting outside and my friend loved their burger. You can walk through the hotel lobby to get to the garage and they’ll validate for 2 hours. Would happily return

Our waitress today- JULIANA✨ was absolutely pleasant and bubbly! Loved that! She made sure we had excellent service and constantly checked us without being overbearing. The food was also great! Had brunch at a cozy café and really enjoyed the food—especially the smoked salmon bagel, pistachio muffin, and soup. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the overall vibe was lovely. However, the service was a bit disappointing. The staff didn’t come across as very friendly, and I had to ask twice just to get an extra spoon. When I requested a small bowl, they brought out a clear glass one that didn’t seem like proper serving ware and might’ve even been used. Great food, but the service could definitely be improved.

My daughter and I had a lovely lunch here. The food was amazing and our server was one of the sweetest and most knowledgeable servers I've ever had. Eat here! I'm sure you will love it!

Mmmmmmm French toast. I will say I expected the orange in the glaze to be a little more world changing, but it kind of distracted from the nutty syrupy goodness. Kate hyped up the deviled eggs and they did indeed deliver, though I would have liked more of the mayo filling. I was a little surprised no one offered to refill my coffee, but for $3.50 I'm fine with it. We went on a Sunday, and Kate ordered a mimosa at 9:45. When she was told she couldn't have one before 10 am, she said OK I would like a mimosa at 10 am please. Lo and behold, at 10:01 a mimosa arrived at our table. That's good service right there!

We can hear for a 16 people brunch and Hari took such good care of the whole table and the food was incredible and delicious! Most of us were from out of state so this was a really good taste of Austin, thank you Hari!

UPDATED: The owner responded and said they DO validate the parking. Our table and a table next to us were told no, so ensure to ask a second person if told no. Great food and great location. Our server was awesome! We tried the Matcha, Quinoa Bowl, Pancakes, Kimchi Hash, BLT Sandwich 🥪 with fries🍟. Be advised they do not validate parking. This place was a 10 out of 10, and we would definitely go back.

This place serves one of the best Neapolitan pizza in Austin. The vodka and Fresca pizza we ordered came in with bubbly crust and rich sauce. We liked everything especially the decadent stracciatella and their extensive wine list

This was the best food we’ve ate while in Austin and also one of the best pizzas I’ve had in general. Thin dough, topped with good quality and fresh ingredients and most importantly it wasn’t greasy - as a whole it was a really good Neapolitan pizza. However I need to echo other reviews mentioning awful service, the owner who was serving us was quite rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. The restaurant was also super loud but we didn’t plan on staying for too long so it wasn’t a massive issue.

I'm between 3-4 stars for this place because I loved the pizza but the service was not 4 stars. We loved the mushroom pizza. It was the absolute perfect blend of toppings in my opinion. They serve a Neapolitan-style pizza —perfectly blistered crust, high-quality ingredients, and a menu that knows how to keep things simple and stellar. But the service? It borders on indifferent, and was timed not for our convenience but theirs. I was still chewing my last bite when they cleared the plates and they wiped the table while I was still eating though my partner had finished. You’ll get your food, but don’t expect warmth or much patience with questions. Still, the pizza is solidly delicious. Come for the pie, not the hospitality.

Delicious but the waiter was not kind. I said thank you one hundred times and I received not one “you are welcome” or acknowledgment. He poured water, he took our orders, he did his job but showed no kindness or a smile. That negatively impacted my experience. Furthermore I asked for hot sauce. He said we have chili oil. I said great. Then they bring me an unusually large amount of chili oil and I see at the very end a charge for $3 for chili oil. That is ridiculous. I won’t come back.

Went to Bufalina for happy hour for the first time and I can’t believe I’ve slept on this deal for so long. Happy hour is from 4 PM to 530 every day of the week. We arrived a few minutes before 4 PM and were among the first few groups to get seated. This is probably the key because the happy hour is so short. All wine bottles below $100 or half off all pizzas are half off which is quite a steal. We ordered the mushroom and the potato pizza and I would definitely get them again. The pizzas are good size and the dough is very fluffy. We also ordered some apps like the stracciatella which was mindblowingly good, had great balance with the tomato jam, cheese and balsamic. The Caesar salad was also amazing, we added the anchovies too. They have a few spots in their parking lot, but there’s also street parking too.

Cozy, Elevated, and Full of Flavor We had another amazing evening at Bufalina. The service was top-notch — friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations that really made the night. We started with the stracciatella, which was creamy and fresh, followed by the pappardelle pasta and a Margherita pizza with pepperoni — both absolutely delicious and made with clear care and quality ingredients. We ended with the coffee ice cream, which tasted like an affogato in the best way — rich, bold, and smooth. Bufalina is a quaint, intimate spot that delivers high-end flavor without feeling stuffy. Every dish felt intentional and well-crafted. Highly recommend for a relaxed but exceptional dining experience.

Went out to bufalina after wanting to for SO long and although there was a 45 min wait for a table of 3, we grabbed some wine and the time flew by. We got the caesar with the boquerones with the fresca and red pies. Everything tasted fresh, complex, and amazing! Their wine list is also excellent so we will be back soon

Friendly service and lively atmosphere within The Domain. It’s nice to have both indoor and covered outdoor seating areas. Generally, the non-meat items are pretty good. I actually really liked the new cold sesame noodles. But the meat is pretty consistently overcooked and underwhelming. The salmon is pretty small, but more pointedly, it was pretty dry on the inside. My son’s steak (not pictured) was overcooked and chewy. My wife didn’t finish her dish.

Very different and interesting place, quality ingredients, quick service and cost effective options. I ended up with a Diabetic friendly meal at less than $15, the Tofu was nice, Kun Pow Cauliflower was unique taste and quinoa was very nice. A healthy meal place, enjoyed and will come again!

Ask questions about the menu. I ordered a dish with sweet potato noodles. I assumed they were the sweet potato glass noodles. They are not. They are shredded and lightly cooked (like still crunchy) sweet potato strings. Literally 4 snap peas in the whole dish. This is a bowl of shredded sweet potato’s with sauce. For the record—the sauce is tasty. Thai curry soup is very good. $7.95 extra for salmon. Tea is delicious. Might give them a try again but will never again assume dish ingredients.

The avocado Caesar is delicious and you have to add the shrimp! They are perfectly cooked and juicy. Perfect lunch spot.

Was recommended this place by a fellow New Yorker and was told that the pizza here is the closest I would find to NYC pizza here in Austin. And it probably is! The atmosphere is really chill. The service was fast and there were a lot of people here which is always a good sign! The pizza was really good. Not quite NYC, but the crust was good, red sauce was okay and just wish had a little more cheese on the cheese pizza.

Love the thin crust! Not sure if it's stone baked but we had half pepperoni and half margherita! Reuben sandwich and Greek salad! Great way to spend quality foodie time with my fellow foodie queen friends! We had a great time we stayed, dined and just had amazing time. Service was cool, people mostly take out and the outdoor area looked cool. Simple yet worthwhile.

My mom works in the area and I was meeting her for lunch, we were both craving a sub and chose this place specifically because they also serve pizza which is perfect because I have a four-year-old and one year-old who love pizza. When we first pulled up, we almost left because it looked super packed outside and being 39 weeks pregnant, I didn’t know if I could handle the heat but ended up deciding to stay after finding a table in the shade and that was probably the best decision I made that day. I think this might be the best sub I have ever had and I love me a sub. All of their ingredients seemed high-quality. I got the club sub which comes with turkey ham, bacon, and provolone. they’re bacon was perfect. I’ve been to many places where the bacon is just OK. I definitely plan on coming back to this place. The pizza by the slice was also good 10 out of 10 if you’re in the area this place is worth trying.

Love stopping here for a great Italian sub. Whole menu is amazing. Quick kind service, order at the counter. Fresh deli sides, fountain, cans, glass bottle sodas. Kille cookies, and cake slices, carrot cake to die for. Quite a few tables inside, plenty of patio & picnic tables, gazebo garden for kids to play around. Family friendly and relaxing neighborhood spot for takeout.

My wife and I went to Little Deli after doing some shopping on Burnet Road. We've been back twice since our initial visit because the food is incredible! Fresh ingredients, hefty portions, and taste explosions! We usually can't decide between the pizza or the sandwiches, so we get a half a sandwich each, share a slice, and take the rest home for lunch the next day. Go visit this little slice of heaven, you won't regret it!

Decent pizza. We tried it because it is on so many 10 best pizza lists. That may have set our expectation a bit high. Crust was very good. Sauce a bit sweet and too thick for our taste. We topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and bell peppers. Again decent - but toppings were mild / lacked saltiness? I suspect the sweet sauce and would order “extra light” on the sauce next time. Service at the counter / they bring it out to you. Very polite and attentive. We sat outside in the shade comfortably. Pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. Lots of to go orders it seemed. If your taste is on the sweeter side you might love it. Crust is easily a top 10!

Best jjajangmyeon and jjambbong place in Austin area! Interior is a little outdated but the food was so fresh and so good! It made me want to try other menu 🥰 The server(probably owner) was super nice and kind.

I had an amazing meal here! The jjajangmyeon was perfectly balanced with a rich, savory sauce that hit all the right notes, and the tang su yuk was wonderfully crispy on the outside and tender inside. Everything tasted authentic and brought back memories of comfort food. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Korean flavors! 한국분들을 꼭 가보세요!! 짜장면, 꿔바로우 맛있습니다👍👍

This dish isn't on the menu but is listed on the wall. It includes a whole squid, along with generous portions of shrimp, blue crab, oysters, mussels, and more. The flavor is absolutely amazing!

There used to be only one place in Austin that served Korean-style Chinese food, but a friend recently told me that this place offers it too, so I decided to check it out. I ordered jjajangmyeon, jjampong, and guobaorou. Despite it being a weekday lunch, the restaurant was quite busy, which may explain why the food took a while to arrive. Unfortunately, the guobaorou was soaked in a watery sauce, so it lost its crispiness and was difficult to separate. The jjajangmyeon and jjampong weren’t bad, but they felt a bit too greasy. Since I had high expectations, the food was a bit disappointing, but the staff were incredibly friendly. I was also impressed by the chefs, who seemed a bit older, working hard in the kitchen. I hope they can address some of these issues and continue to improve the flavors!

I’ve been eating here for years and years and we love it. There has not been a single occasion where the food was less than outstanding. The flavors, the options, the sauces, everything is superb. Even the meat is perfectly cooked on every occasion. I am sorry for the poor souls that don’t know Fresh Heim exists. I hope the owners and cooks live longer than I do so I can always eat here, and as healthy as their food is, they just might outlive me.

Delicious fresh food! The protein choices are always good but the stand out for me are the noodles with perfect texture and savory flavoring. Their vegetables are always fresh and crisp, thinly sliced and appealing. There are several sauces and dressings from which to choose - made in house, healthy and tasty.

We decided to try a new restaurant for lunch and was so happy we did. We tried their newest menu item, jajangmyeon, which was delicious!, along with several other dishes. The owners are so kind, atmosphere is calm and inviting, and food is exactly as the name states, fresh. And can I mention how beautiful everything looks! We will return.

Galaxy Cafe is a fine place to eat if you can find parking. It is tight inside that small mall area. The food is good but watch out for sharp tiny bones inside the Siracha salmon tacos. Eat SLOW. I pulled out five bones that are dangerous to swallow. The caprese sandwich is safe and fresh. I also enjoyed the chicken pasta and turkey chile bowl. The latte is perfect. Galaxy is usually busy and I waited more than 15 minutes for the salmon tacos. Galaxy is not so busy after 12 pm and on weekends at about 3. Staff is friendly. Cafe needs more booths and parking. I prefer a booth to a table when I dine.

I came to Galaxy Cafe for dinner with a few friends. The chicken tortilla soup wasn’t great, tasted a bit stale and bland. The steak was decent and so was the mac n’ cheese side. Overall, I’d say the value for the money is pretty good and the food comes out rather quickly.

3 adults stopped here for lunch. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table when ready. The menu is limited but does include vegetarian options. We all ordered different meals and we were completely satisfied. I had the steak sandwich with onions and it was tasty and tender. (I'm usually reluctant to order steak sandwiches because they can be stringy and chewy at many restaurants...but not here!). This is NOT a fast food restaurant; the food was prepared exactly as we ordered. The servers were helpful. The restaurant and restroom were clean. Parking is plentiful right outside the door. Price with beverages and to was $$. We will go here again.

Amazing. Got the G-Free Pesto Chicken Club with fruit. Absolutely delicious. The pesto and caramelized onions are an awesome combo (if somewhat messy, haha). It was presented excellently-- even had a toothpick sign declaring it gluten free. Service was very friendly. Food didn't come out super fast, but it tasted like the onions were freshly caramelized, and that takes time. The atmosphere was great--a blend of retro diner and modern. I am thoroughly glad I stopped in today.

Our first time here. AMAZING! I got the chicumi steak wrap (added avacado) with chips and queso. My husband got the Blue Cheese Bacon burger with sweet potato fries. Love the atmosphere.

We placed an order from Modern Market Eatery through Uber Eats, and while the food quality was exceptional, there was a discrepancy between the portion of tuna shown in the Uber Eats image and what was actually served. This mismatch cost them a star, but the flavors more than made up for it. I ordered the Lemongrass Tuna Bowl, and it tasted awesome. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and they complemented each other perfectly, making the bowl rich and satisfying. As this was a takeaway order, I didn't get to experience the ambiance or service in person, but based on the food alone, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try. A must for fresh, flavorful meals!

No wait on a Saturday afternoon. Order was accurate and food was delicious! We had the Chef's bowl with smoky chicken and it was fresh with great flavor. The hibiscus lemonade was refreshing! The Nutella marshmallow treat was a great dessert that I highly recommend! I would return again!

This was the first time I've been to this restaurant, and I had the Salmon Curry bowl. The salmon was flavorful but overcooked as it was pretty firm. The roasted vegetables and curry soup were delicious.

Food was tasty and fresh. Only wished I could have had a small side of dressing for the kale.

Honest Mary’s has been my go-to spot for a few years now, and it’s hands down my favorite place for a quick, healthy meal. The quality is always pristine and made with care. I love how they’ve brought farm-to-table to life with their farm-to-bowl concept. My husband and I have tried every bowl, and we genuinely love them all—there’s nothing on the menu we don’t enjoy. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the vibe is consistently positive. You can tell they truly care about what they’re serving. Easily one of the best places to eat in ATX!

Forth time at this place and this time I decided I might as well review it! I've tried out four different bowls and they were all very good. I like their concept of locally sourced ingredients with a focus on real food, rather than highly processed stuff. Great choice in music and ambiance. Well, I'll sure be returning!

Vibe- The style of this restaurant reminds me of CAVA or Chipotle. There was plenty of seating inside and the staff was super helpful and nice. My favorite thing about this place was all the greenery all around! :) Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I ordered the Sedona lime bowl with tofu and got a cold pressed juice to drink; they were both so good. Parking- There’s plenty of spots in the lot the restaurant sits in.

I’m actually so grateful to have a location up here because this is one of the few places I can find a healthy whole food meal while on the go. Food and service have been consistently great.

Healthy and delicious quick service local chain. Support this place because it is fresh, tasty, healthy, and locally owned. This is what you want in a meal: a place where you can “eat the rainbow”. There are options for all diets: The steak is amazing for carnivorous folks. The poke is excellent for pescatarians. The tofu is my favorite in town. I also have a soft spot for the butternut squash with pumpkin spice. My kids love this chain and ask to eat here at least once a week. 10 out of 10 I would come again.

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night while visiting Austin. It was busy, but was able to walk right up, order, and find a table. They give you a table number and deliver it when ready. Ordered the Bubby Salad and grabbed a Chocolate Fudge and Peanut Butter cookie at the counter. First floor was crowded, but there's upstairs seating towards the rear of the restaurant. Food was brought to table in about 10 minutes and looked great. Nice cut of Salmon served on top of Kale along with tomatoes, onions, croutons, sprouts and egg. Tasted like a fresh salad from a home garden. Cookie was a nice simple dessert afterwards. Good place to come for a fresh, healthy meal.

Local foods is a true gem!!! It's situated in such a fun and quaint part of town! You can fuel up on delicious and good for you food and then explore some fun shops and museums. If you're looking to spend a shorter time dining, this spot is perfect. It's counter service ordering, and the staff swiftly delivers it to your table. They offer comfortable indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS. But, I highly recommend their signature bubby salad and hangover potatoes. Outside of that, you really can't go wrong with anything here!!

Prior to an event at the Long Center, we roamed across the river to the 2nd St District in sunny Austin for a bite. My dinner choice of Gummie Bears at the Candy store was overruled...so we hit up Local Foods! The vibe here is great with 2 levels of seating as well as outdoor and to go options. Gal that took our order was efficient, friendly and helpful. The Fall Dinner menu was exceptionally unique...I had the Gulf Seafood PoBoy with Apple/Cranberry salad and red potato salad for sides. The potato salad is now my 2nd favorite, but will never surpass my #1 fave which is my dead Mom's specialty--just dont tell her! The PoBoy was not the typical fake crab, small shrimp and an overload of mayo. This was phenomenal. The fresh dill in the potato salad took it up a notch. My other half had a waygu beef sandwich with Mexican flavors. Fantastic as well. Too and we didnt save room for the brown butter miso cookies or carrot cake. Great meal! Now on to see Nick Offerman with a fully satisfied stomach......

Local Foods is forever one of my favorite restaurants and this location did not disappoint. The location was clean and staff was kind. The crunchy chicken sandwich as always was excellent along with the chips and potato salad. Local foods continues to be top tier in fast casual.

I had the chance to go to Local Foods at 2nd Street District. Sad to say they are only cashless. When you go inside make sure that you’re ready with your Card. I bought a quart of Chicken Posole and Austin Cowboy Cookies. They have all other good foods. I just went for these two. You should try Loc Foods at 2nd Street District when you’re Austin, Texas.

4.7 rating: Local Foods on 2nd & San Antonio is basically what happens when Whole Foods and a sexy Pinterest board have a baby. The vibe? Fresh, chic, and so Instagrammable it hurts. The menu’s got more range than Meryl Streep — soups, salads, sandwiches, curries, burgers, fish, you name it. I went full Finding Nemo villain and devoured the salmon poke bowl. Top 5 in Austin, no debate. Generous portions, fish so fresh it probably still had opinions, and plated like a damn art exhibit. This place isn’t just a meal — it’s a wellness retreat for your taste buds. If you leave without posting a pic, did you even go?

Great Vibe and Good Food, Definitely Worth a Visit This is my third time coming to Better Half, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the half Chop Chop salad, the single chicken bacon burger, and a veggie burger. It’s hard not to like this place. The amount of property they have means you can almost always find a seat, which is a nice. If you’re into alcohol, I’m sure you’d really enjoy it here as they have a great selection. It’s hard to beat a $7 chicken/beef burger though the patty itself is a bit on the thin side. Everything was solid—the food was good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It definitely feels like a spot that you could always go to and know what you’re getting.

This place is definitely popular, but I found myself underwhelmed by the famous cauliflower tots and the breakfast sandwich. They didn’t live up to the hype for me. The cauliflower tots were crispy but, like the breakfast sandwich, could benefit from more flavor. However, the beetroot ketchup had a unique taste to it. On a positive note, the lemon olive oil cake and the queso were delightful. As for the coffee, I was disappointed. The caramel sea salt cold brew tasted more like vanilla, with barely any caramel or sea salt flavors coming through. The lavender latte was watery. Overall, nothing really hit the mark. The best part of the place, though, is definitely the vibe. The outdoor patio is spacious, with plenty of shaded seating and a cozy bar area in the corner, covered in vines and string lights. Inside, there’s a nice mix of seating options so whether you want a couch or a high table they have it all. And they have a little kiddie pool outside where you can dip your feet, which is nice, and dogs are allowed, so if you’re just looking for a chill place to hang out, it’s great, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for the food or drinks.

I’ve visited this restaurant three times, and it’s consistently solid. My recent Saturday brunch really stood out. The food is flavorful and well-executed, with a thoughtful concept that shines through in the menu. The space is clean, modern, and stylish, creating a welcoming vibe. My only gripe is the crowd—expect a wait, especially on weekends, though the kitchen turns out dishes quickly. If you’re local, this spot’s probably already on your radar.

Truly one of the most mediocre places I’ve been to that is trying to be trendy. The breakfast sandwich was so underwhelming for the price. No seasoning, no salsa, no sauce. Just a bunch of fried elements without seasoning. It was very one note and nothing to it. Difficult to eat. Coffee was okay, much prefer other places in Austin. Super loud inside.

I've always loved Better Half, it was a tried and true spot for me for years. I came back to grab a salad for lunch for the first time in about a year and I am sad to say it has gone downhill. $48 for two very un-fresh disheveled "half" salads, and a dirty table. I am so sad to have spent so much for so little, but more sad to see a place I once loved not holding their standard.

We loved this place so much on our trip to Austin that we went a few times during the week. We didn’t have too long of a wait each time but we were there during off season and not peak hours. There’s plenty of outdoor seating which was so nice on a warm day. The coffee was good and I appreciated their baked goods. The breakfast sandwiches were also good.

This is just fun. Cocktails and Cafe. Small indoor space and lots of outdoor picnic table seating. I worked with the sides menu for my G.F. options, the Offspring had eggs and pancakes. Coffee and latte options. We had breakfast here twice while in town.

The Well is a trendy downtown Austin spot with a beautifully decorated interior. I went for brunch and started with the ceviche: salmon in a coconut-citrus sauce served with blue corn chips. It was fresh and tasty, but clearly meant as an appetizer rather than a full meal. I also tried their açai bowl and was disappointed—the consistency was very watery, and the acai flavor seemed overpowered by other fruits. Overall, great ambiance, but the food left me wanting more.

EVERYTHING was amazing! The drinks were refreshing, and food was amazing, the service was top notch! I had some great news for my husband and needed a nice, chill place to celebrate. This place was IT. I'll definitely recommend and come by more often when in Austin.

I usually love The Well and recommend it to everyone, but my most recent experience at the downtown location was very disappointing. I picked up an order and when I got home, I found hair in my food, not just once, but twice. I even attached photos when I reached out to the restaurant. On top of that, I ended up with a bad stomach ache and diarrhea afterward. This was really upsetting. I hope management takes this seriously, as it was not only unappetizing but also made me sick.

While visiting Austin I finally got to try their Grass-fed Texas Wagyu Steak & Eggs which were really good!! Also tried their pumpkin spice latte. Would recommend!

The Well had that composed, modern charm that makes you feel you’ve stepped into a place that knows what it’s doing. The space was warm and stylish, the lighting soft, the sound of conversation balanced just right. Service, though, kept its distance. Maybe it was because we were a large group, but the staff mostly hovered nearby rather than checking in. When a glass broke, they were suddenly all presence and precision, making sure our guest was fine before fading back again. The food started strong. Every appetizer impressed in its own way. The quinoa and mushrooms had just enough heat, the beef tartare was tender and vibrant, the ceviche bright and clean. My Wagyu steak frites should have been the highlight, perfectly cooked and paired with a lively chimichurri, but the plate was cold and the butter sat untouched on top. It dulled what could have been an exceptional dish. Dessert tried to be inventive, though the avocado mousse was more concept than pleasure. By the end, I couldn’t shake the small disappointment. Everything pointed toward excellence, yet the final impression cooled just like that plate, still good but not quite warm enough to remember fondly.

Had a nice experience at mad greens. This place is quick, and has a decent menu. Mad spice is recommended in their salads or warm bowls. We really liked the tofu option. However, since this is a chain, I urge them to include more vegetarian options. Like fried avocado/chickpea patties or veggie patties or any vegetarian protein. The hummus trio veg is also excellent!

Usually my go to is their spinach wrap, however I was delighted to learn about their new hero tortilla & it was simply amazing. I am very pleased with the quantity, quality & always excited to try their new options. I had one of the latest additions, a delicious street corn wrap - to which, I added bacon. What an excellent choice! I am looking forward to trying the picnic pesto wrap next time!! Charmagne is a spectacular 5-star employee who was very knowledgeable about the ingredients & had great reccomendations. Fantastic healthy eats at a reasonable price. Don't forget to grab a sea salt caramel as well, they're too irresistible to pass up~

The most welcoming and friendliest staff of any restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of dining at, and I keep coming back! Charmagne brightens up every day I happen to stop by Mad Greens and I wish there was more of her! This place is my go-to lunch spot anytime I'm craving a big salad.

As someone who’s worked in food service management for over 6 years, I can confidently say this visit was one of the worst first impressions I’ve had at a restaurant. My wife and I made it clear this was our first time here, but the staff’s “hospitality” came in the form of fake smiles and passive-aggressive remarks. We even tried to joke around to lighten the mood—met with cold, dismissive responses. When we tried to pay with cash, instead of politely explaining their policy, they acted like we should have already known. To top it off, the food quality was poor. The rice was hard as a rock, and nothing tasted fresh. For a place that markets itself as fresh and welcoming, the service and quality here were the complete opposite. First impressions matter, and this one made sure there won’t be a second visit.

I stopped by Mad Greens recently, and I have to give a special shoutout to Bella. She was incredibly friendly and welcomed me with a warm smile as soon as I walked in. She made my salad exactly how I wanted it—perfectly balanced and so fresh. It’s rare to see someone who not only provides excellent customer service but also genuinely seems to enjoy making sure guests have a great experience. Her positive energy really stood out and made my visit that much better. If you go to Mad Greens, I highly recommend stopping by when Bella’s working—you’ll leave with not only a delicious meal but also a smile on your face.

A nice girl named Bella made my salad and it was the best salad ive ever tasted. the greens were perfectly mixed and it was seasoned just how i liked it. she was so kind and kept a smile the whole time. the bathrooms were extremely clean, I felt at peace. staff was very welcoming and had a sense of urgency like none ive seen ive seen before. I am so happy. if I could give this establishment more than 5 stars, I would. Bella packaged my to go order with care so my salad was safe and sound when I came home to my wife, who was also very pleased with the taste of her meal. I will be returning!

Sweetgreen on Colorado and 2nd is my new lunchtime obsession—like, borderline restraining order levels of obsession. I got the miso salmon bowl and it was so good I blacked out halfway through and woke up licking the bowl like a rescue dog. Fresh, flavorful, and healthy in that “I’m being a responsible adult but still having a flavor party in my mouth” kinda way. It’s the kind of place that tricks you into thinking you’re making good life choices… even though you’re spending $14 on salad and contemplating a second round. I wanna go back every single day, but I’m afraid I’ll ruin the magic. Like watching too much “Ted Lasso”—you love it, but you gotta pace yourself. This isn’t just lunch. It’s leafy, umami-packed self-care in a compostable bowl. 5/5 kale leaves.

I paid for a Shroomani bowl but they did not include the Miso Sesame sauce or the Roasted Almonds. Plus I paid for extra sauce and extra almonds, but got none! Soooooo disappointing. That sauce really brings it together.

Ordered a harvest bowl and paid extra money for extra toppings on my bowl. But did NOT get my extra toppings I paid for! And these bowls are already expensive alone. Lady at the front counter was not helpful. Customer support is non existent.i used to eat here all of the time but recently started getting my orders messed up continually, needless to say i won't be ordering or coming back here again.

I've had good experiences ordering carryout from sweetgreen several times. The ordering process is easy online and via their app. They make customizations easy, and you can save diet preferences so they'll be flagged when you're looking at the menu. My orders are always accurate and ready on time. Their selection of food is fresh, and some of my favorite meals have come from their featured bowls. I usually visit at night, so I can grab a space right out front, but I imagine during the day parking may be a bit harder to come by.

Sweetgreen has arrived and the timing is perfect! Long hot summer + fresh delicious salads = much needed variety! I would never think to order a Buffalo Chicken Salad 🥗 but the description got me and it did NOT disappoint. Super tasty and fresh. The staff was equally kind and accommodating. Service was super fast, social distancing and masks are required. There is a small patio to the side for al fresco dining and they are making take out pretty easy as well. Sweetgreen opens officially on August 12th.

Really poor management at this location. Google and the hours posted on the door say they close at 10:00pm, but at 9:30pm they were already locked up and closed because they “decided to close at 9:00pm Saturday thru Monday for the holiday weekend.” That’s fine if they want to do that, but then they should update their hours on Google so people don’t waste their time driving to the location and paying for parking. At the very least they could put a sign on the door. It’s poor business practice to have customers greeted by locked doors during posted business hours. They should also have a phone number that allows you to call and speak to someone at this restaurant, but the posted phone number just goes to a general Sweetgreen corporate support line.

Cute space filled with so many cute things. This is the ultimate place to treat yourself to a few niceties. Some carbs that are 100% worth it, good coffee, good wine, wonderful cheese boards, you get the idea. Really pleased with everything we had and excited to add it to the list of places to stop or hop by when I'm in the area.

Came here for a mortadella and left extremely satisfied. Definitely your go-to spot before hitting a picnic or a hike through Walnut Creek. They have a great selection of cheese, beer, coffee, thc drinks and sweets along with pickles, spreads and chili crisp to buy by the jar. The staff was very polite and the interior was clean. This place screams Authentic Austin. Well worth the money spent, I will be back!

We live nearby and love the food, atmosphere, and employees! However, it always takes an incredibly long time. Today we ordered one salmon plate and two TFB baguettes to go and were waiting for over half an hour for our food. Also, there is an up-charge for takeout but there are only five tables and a small bar, so even getting a table is a gamble. I love that they stock art and wares from small businesses and the decor is super cute, but for how much the food costs I would hope that service would be a bit better.

Just had the Mortadella sandwich and a brown butter chocolate chip cookie. Everything was super freak good. The sandwich was served on this amazing focaccia that was light and fluffy but also has a good crunch with with bite. My only complaint is it's too close to my house and will be a dangerous temptation. Update: I went back and got the Cold Cut sandwich. Stupid good. This places rocks. Go! The place is a deli -- this isn't fine dinning - but it was perfect for what it was. My sandy was $15 and I would describe it as generously portioned (I didn't need to eat the whole thing but I did as it was delic). Try this place out!

Great place! One of my favorites in Austin. The food is tasty, the space is cute, and the staff is really nice. I’m deducting one star due to the lack of a consistent seating process. There have been times where we’ve ordered, waited, and then staff showed us to the next available table - which was great as it kept things orderly. Other times, we ordered, waited, then had our food show up even though we were still waiting for a table because people were holding tables/seats even though they ordered after us or haven’t ordered yet. This doesn’t make sense. So I recommend creating a new seating system to where staff assigns seats or allowing customers to get a table according to the order in which they placed their orders.

So cute and perfect. It has a little bit of all things good -coffee, wine, sandwiches, baked goods - and a lot of wonderful mouthwatering cheese! All sandwiches are great. Ask about their catering options, I had them cater a Bunco gathering two years ago and everyone was highly impressed. They do need heads up for larger catering orders but anything 6 guests and under the can whip up! Today I had a nice hot chai, read and knitted while waiting for them to fix a charcuterie board. The rain outside made the whole ambiance feel right out of a novel.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the new location in Cherrywood. I loved the original location, and was super excited to try the new one, however, when I walked in, the space was significantly smaller and the menu appeared to have been cut in half. There are ~6 tables in the new location, a majority of which are for 2 people, making it very difficult to dine in due to spacing restrictions. The food itself was good, but the portions felt fairly small for the price. Additionally, with the smaller menu, I feel many of the staples are no longer available. I am hoping this is simply due to the location being new, and that they are planning to provide more options in the future.

A 10 of 10 pizza restaurant. Relaxed walk up window, HOT and fresh pizza. They have roughly 8 different flavors to choose from. What’s super fun is you order by the slice mostly and they allow you to make a full pizza of 6 slices since all their pizza is one size. Loved the experience and absolutely will be coming back. Great for a quick bite or a relaxed date night!

We really enjoyed this place. We took a sampler pizza and everything was delicious I particularly liked the special pickle pizza. ‏the place next door let's you set there was your pizza and order some drinks. ‏it looks fantastic and has air condition.

I walked into All Day Pizza in Austin thinking I’d just grab a slice to taste test and a dessert as I had already eaten… and somehow ended up on a full culinary journey. One slice turned into a Caesar salad “taste test,” a creamy tiramisu adventure, and a truly spectacular coffee-meets-ice cream situation called the affogato. Every bite felt intentional, balanced, and way too good for my original plan of “just a snack.” The vibe? Like someone crossbred an artisanal pizzeria with a chill game café. You could chill there for hours to play table games while inhaling another slice. Bonus points — the kitchen runs smoother than an espresso shot. These folks clearly know what they’re doing.

This place is awesome. Austin needed a top tier nyc pizza slice shop and all day delivers. My favorites are the cheese, pep pep, and tomato tomatoe (trust me). The soft serve is incredible and the Cesar salad is one of the best in Austin. Don’t sleep on either! The owner, Daniel, cares about his product and his patrons and you can tell. Don’t let the line scare you. It moves fast and look at it time well spent with people you hopefully enjoy spending time with :)

This is an amazing pizza place right across from Camp Marbry Their NY style pizzas are top-notch! 👌🏽 Lots of options to choose from - so we got a slice or two of 6 different pizzas The pickle pizza is unique and delicious! Not too tangy but just enough to make it interesting The standards like Margherita are very good too. And their gelato is a fantastic way to wrap up a wonderful meal The seating is all outdoor - it’s beautiful and well-ventilated, even in Austin summers.

Cute little walk up pizza window. Wine bar is located inside the building. The pizza is great and I understand why it is raved about. I love that you can order by the slice so you can try a little bit of everything. We had a ceasar salad as well and it was wonderful. The service was very quick and everything was fresh. It was a great spot for a cute double date. Everyone seemed to be very dressed up here for the occasion. We can't wait to visit the other location as well. -It gets VERY busy so expect to be waiting outside in a long line. -If you're dining with a group I would suggest someone to go order the drinks from inside and be on the lookout for a table while the other orders the food. -There is no parking for the restaurant so you have to park along the street (which is down a hill.) Be prepared to walk. -There is limited seating inside and most seating is outside. There are a few fans but it is still quite warm.

Such a quaint little restaurant and a food date spot. We tried the Stracciatella and the Sweet Sausage. Very tasty! There can a line so I’d recommend coming in later in the evening. Only downside is that is near a busy street. 10/10 pizzas 🍕

Edit: 6 months since my initial review. Still love this place so much! Today, I was serviced by Derek. He was very quick and even gave a milk bone to my dog who was riding along with me. As always, the wraps and Agua Fresca were perfection. You should to Baby Greens! 🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬

One of the best places in Austin for your fast-food like fix of super healthy foods! Their salads and wraps are made to order. Yes, the wait may be a few more minutes as a result, but it's well worth it! Their menu has plenty to choose from, and with the ability to make anything a salad or wrap you'll never grow tired of the options. Add in some additional protein and really give yourself a full meal. Their strawberry lemonade is also excellent. Drive through, or walk up and outdoor seating for dining available.

Fast, fresh and healthy salads and wraps! With ten homemade deessings to choose from. The Chile lime and green goddess are both favorites of mine!

Hearty salads all of which can be made into a wrap. Food was delicious and guilt free. There is a picnic table outside but no indoor seating. There is limited parking but the drive through is pretty quick. This will definitely be a frequent lunch stop for me. Be mindful of what you add to your salad or wrap if you are watching your diet. Attached is a picture of nutritional info they provide. The most surprising information is the dressing nutrition. The one named "lowfat" is not the lowest in fat so be sure to take a look. Despite all that, this place is the healthiest fast food you'll find.

A blithe bijou to gratify plant-based gulosity. Salad in a bowl or a wrap with a choice of tofu, walnuts, or avocado, and four vegan dressings.

Honestly the salad was really good. Loved the avocado dressing too! Big portion and generous toppings. I plan on coming back frequently!

Bad experience. 1. Didn't delivered at door as instructed, have to delay the hotel checkout time. 2. Food was cold, not even reheated. rice is not cooked properly, the vegetables looks stale and smells bad, sauce is not fresh, have to throw it totally. 3. Quantity is also little, Didn't gave spoons or any cutlery along.

Overall food is not great. They use way too much salt in their food like they are trying to cover up bad flavor choices like in the Al Pastor chicken bowl. I'm not sure if they're trying to make it tanging spicy, sweet or all three but way too overpowering. Most of the time the pasta and rice isn't either cooked too done or not cooked enough even when reheated in the microwave. But the biggest issue is overuse of salt, unnecessary amounts of salt.

I ordered the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken and I’m very disappointed. The lettuce is brown and wilted. Unfortunately, I had the salad delivered so I cannot return it. Lesson learned on my part.

The employees at this location go above and beyond for their customers! They always recommend delicious new plates and help me find what I need within my budget. I am so thankful for this location and I highly recommend you come here for all of your grocery needs. I save so much time buying these quick, healthy, and ready to eat meals! All while staying within my macros, too!

I was highly disappointed that the pictures look more apple than the meal delivered. The size was small. The disclaimer about the food being cold should be in bold letters. If I’m getting food delivered why would I want to put it in the microwave. The customer service was poor and I didn’t get what I ordered. Even after they called to correct the order. I was not happy at all. The green tea is unsweetened super gross.

We’ve been ordering snap to cover weekday lunches and have been loving it. The meals are full of flavor and well portioned. I’ve been using an app to track and manage daily calorie, protein, etc intake and all I have to do is swipe the bar code and the nutrition info is imported. I also love adding fun beverages and snacks to try out

I really enjoy picking up my weekly meals at Snap Clarksville. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Lucy. Being a single person it is really great to know I can easily get reasonably priced and nutritious meals- the good vibes from the staff are a definite bonus!

We really wanted to love this place. Its perfect for toddler to run around and play while you enjoy some delicious tacos. But the cashier at Littlefields almost ruined the experience. He was rude to me when I had questions about the menu, to my grandma when she asked for extra ice, and my husband when he was trying to buy a juice for my daughter. 5 star food with zero star service. I hope the tip goes to the cooks.

If you’re planning on taking your kids, be aware that they may simply have reserved the entire play area for a private event. My husband and I were excited to try this place with our toddler, specially because of the fenced little yard, but we left as soon as we got there and learned that he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the space because of a birthday celebration happening there. It is extremely rude the way this business will not provide any kind of heads up on their online page about this possibility, but just let us drive there to find a sign letting us know that our children will not be able to play. Very disappointing experience and definitely not trying again.

Tarrytown people and dogs here. Ordered orange juice and got carrot-ginger- orange mixture juice. Kicked it back. Had to pay for it anyway and then pay for a new serving of warm orange juice. Ice cubes are not available and there are not too many bad juices worse than warm/hot orange juice.....ehhh warm beer! Menu is wierd! The El Traditional breakfast taco meal has pinto beans on it... Ordered three of those, 2 "as is" and one without pinto beans. Food was hot, but lite on the scrambled eggs and heavy on the inserted potatoe "homefries". There was a Hula hoop safety hazard at the ordering walk up area. Corrected it. Eliminated the tripping hazard on the spot. Total meal cost was $24.89 = 23.00 + 1.89....not including the extra charge for the messed up orange juice order. And now there are weird business charges on my account from this shady tap and pay place. I did pay cash for the reduced cost warm OJ, though. The customer is always right....in the past and not so much now in the current day. Nice little spot for children to frolick and roll down green plastic turf hills while adults socialize and wrangle for parking spaces or seating spaces.

We brought our kids here to play and have lunch the other day. Parking was easy on a week day at lunch, but there aren't many spots available, and I can see how it can get full fast. We got tacos from Veracruz. It's a bit awkward ordering as you can't really see through the window to who you're talking to unless you bend way down. Everything tasted great but they did get our order wrong. We had to go back up, pay more, and wait for the rest of the order. The patio is shaded and lovely to sit at with all the greenery. My kids had fun playing and there were lots of other kids and moms. My husband was actually the only guy there! We got a milkshake from Cookie Rich after lunch, and it was good but very rich; I guess they live up to their name! And that's coming from someone with a big sweet tooth. It was too heavy for one person to finish. They had a shave ice stand that wasn't open, so I'm not sure the hours on that. We definitely want to come back and try Goldy's next time!

All around want more places like this in Austin. The peaceful atmosphere and chill clientele. I do wish the tacos were open after 3 pm to get that dinner rush. And there is no WiFi as of April 2024, which was frustrating at first, but now I appreciate that it aligns well with the ambiance of unplugging and playing with your kids. The place isn’t taken over by remote workers on laptops. 👩‍💻-> 🌳 Love!

Great atmosphere! I dig the outdoor seating area, the decor and vibe. If you have kids, it's a good spot for them to play while you do your thing. Have not yet tried the tacos. The cold brew was not to my liking so next time I'll try one of the other drinks. Definitely coming back.

In a world, where every city seems to have a style of pizza, we decided to see what Detroit’s was all about. Via 313 is a Detroit style pizza place located in Austin (not sure how that happened). We went to the location on West 6th Street after a tiring day of kayaking on Lady Bird Lake searching for some sweet, doughy bliss and here’s what happened… We sat at the outdoor area, which was great as we had a dog that wanted to enjoy some time with us. At this location we placed our order through the window and this is where the first of two issues occurred. One of us asked the guy at the window a very simple question, “Is your sausage spicy?” And he responded “Uhh I don’t know, I guess?”… nice to know we’re solving quantum physics at this location. After ordering 4 slices that cost $15 (sheesh), we were informed that we would receive a text when our order was ready. After waiting 25 minutes for our 4 slices we had still not received any text. When we went up to the window to find out what happened to our pizzas they had them ready to go sitting on the top of the stove. It was pretty clear that the pizza’s had just been sitting there for a few minutes with no text update and we had to go up to get make sure we got our food. The food itself was pretty good, the pizza light and crunchy with a delicious sauce over it. One of the staff also brought our dog a water bowl with some ice and was very friendly with us as well. Unfortunately that one staffer and good pizza couldn’t make up for the laziness of the kitchen staff and convoluted text system they use to notify patrons. This is definitely an operation that could use some better logistics and things would be a bit brighter, until then I think our rating sums up what you get from this Via 313 from a food, service, and value standpoint.

This Detroit style pizza was very interesting. It certainly hit the spot from a carbs perspective, but I didn’t realize that there’s little to know pizza sauce in a dish Detroit style pie. That being said, I really did enjoy the pizza and the service was fast, they had the pizza is ready at the promised pick up time. If you’re an adventurous eater, I want to try something unique and tasty. I recommend the Cadillac pizza.

This pizza place is okay, but the setup is kind of odd. It's cool that it's right next to a bar, but the entire ordering process is a pain—you have to scan a QR code to order, which I personally can't stand. The quality of the pizza is decent, and it’s probably a good fit for someone looking to grab some 'za while having a few drinks at the attached bar. This isn't something I would go out of my way for at all but sufficient if you are already there having some drinks.

From Michigan and had all of the best Detroit style pizzas including Loui’s in hazel park. This is excellent pizza. House made hot honey. Vernors and Faygo available. Excellent bar connected.

Outpost of the Via 313 pizza chain adjoining the Star Bar with a service window opening into one bar room and another window opening to the sidewalk. Star Bar has happy hour on weekday nights Monday through Thursday, 4pm-midnight with a combo of $2 Via 313 pizza slices (cheese or detroiter/pepperoni) and $2 Lonestar beers. There is paid street parking on surrounding streets.

Via 313 is one of the best Detroit style pizza in ATX! Today I ordered their pizza through UberEats. I asked them not to put sauce on the pizza because it might get soggy, but they made a mistake and poured the sauce. Surprisingly, they made another one and sent both of them. Definitely giving 5 stars for that. And I think I don't have to ever give a review about it. David Portnoy already did his job about it! Highly recommend!

Food is consistently good. Deliveries with GH can be spotty but I experience the same across all food delivery platforms. They quickly fix most issues. Unfortunately a raccoon waisted no time in helping himself to my pizza before I could open my door. True story
