2024年9月世界一周MLB観戦旅で訪問　グランドに入れた上に8回裏にSweet Carolineを聴けて感動^_^

球場の中を見ることのできるツアーに参加さました。 案内人は、とても明るくてわかりやすく説明してくれ、とても楽しかったです。 古いけれど、とても綺麗な球場でした。

名物グリーンモンスターは、思っているよりよっぽどデカかったです！！ 昔ながらの木の椅子など、歴史も感じられるスタジアムです。

緑が印象的な球場。 試合が無い時に来たが、人が多かった。 球場周辺は汚くはないが、ゴミとニオイが気になる箇所があった。 周辺の飲食店は、どこも満員で賑わってた。昼時だったから？ 坂道上に有る球場は珍しい気がしました。 試合ある時は本当にすごい人と歓声だそうです。

残念ながらシーズオフでしたが、ツアーに参加してみて、このチームへの熱い愛情を強く強く感じました。街の中心にある球場で、いろいろな制約に中で、本当にうまく作られた球場だと思います。観客席も見やすい設計で、なんといってもグリーンモンスターは、この球場の最も興味深く、素晴らしい特徴になっています。試合のない日に球場の普段見られないところを案内してもらえる素晴らしいツアーでした。ガイドさんの熱いお話も素晴らしかったです。

いくつか行った球場の中でもここは別格です。ミュージアムと呼んでも良いと思います。野球はもちろん球場の雰囲気を楽しめます。 オリオールズ戦で、チケットを持たず行きましたが、当日券は朝から並べばシーズンチケットのキャンセル分が出るためか、バックネット裏、グリーンモンスターの上など、選び放題でした。

アメリカ最古の球場、とても楽しく観戦できた。吉田を応援し最後はさよならで勝利最高の試合になった。売店のおばさんの不機嫌な顔最悪だった！

価格と展示内容がイマイチな印象。色々な水族館を観てきましたが、良くも悪くも全く特徴のない水族館でした。地元のひとが行くには良いと思いますが、旅行者が行くほどではない感じでした。

中央に円柱状の縦に長い水槽があり、多種多様の魚やウミガメを坂を上りながら見ることができ、圧巻です。入口すぐにはペンギンのプールがあり、それ以外にもアシカや様々な魚を見ることができます。規模としては思っていたよりも狭く中規模で、1-2時間あれば回りきることができます。 Boston 在住の方は、Boston Library Passを用いて事前に予約すれば、無料で入場することができます。 非常に良い水族館ですが、日本の水族館に比べ圧倒的といったことはないので、観光日程に余裕がないのあれば無理に訪れる必要はないと思います。

Bostonの水族館。Boston Library Passにより無料で利用しました。 広くはありませんが、展示が見やすく充実しています。家族連れに人気です。 螺旋状の水槽が大きな特徴。暗くて写真が撮りづらい場所もありますが、きれいでした。

何度目かのボストン訪問で、やっと訪れました。人気のアトラクションで、すごい行列ができていました。もちろん子供の多さは驚くばかりです。ゆっくり見学しました。感想は、少しガッカリでした。今日本の水族館のレベルは最高レベルで、それと比べたら、わざわざ行くほどの価値を感じませんでした。特に最近訪れた「美ら海水族館」と比べたら相当レベル落ちます。参考に行ってみてもいいですが、日本人の海へのこだわりはすごいと思います。

予約の際に時間指定があり、9時に入りました。 コロナのお陰で人数制限がされているのか、ゆったりとしていて、一時間くらいでサクッと見られました。 大きなサメやイルカやマンボーなど、目玉となる生き物がいるわけではありませんが、水槽の水はキレイで、カラフルなイソギンチャクやら見れて、楽しかったです。 日本の水族館は本当によくできているので、日本からくると物足りないかもしれませんが、アメリカに住んでいるとこんなものかな、って感じてしまいます(笑)

ニューイングランド水族館、江ノ島水族館とそんなに変わりはないかな。

歴史の教科者にも出てくるボストン茶会事件。 その場所が残されてるのが意義深い。 周りの雰囲気も最高です。 ウォーキングも気持ちいい。

有名なボストン茶会事件のことを目で見て他見できる施設です。チケット料金は高いです。

入場料は高めですが、最初に寸劇を観たあと、船の見学、館内に入って映像と盛り沢山。事前購入しておけば、すぐ入れます。

1773年のボストン茶会事件が起きた場所。これがきっかけとなり、イギリスからの独立戦争の機運が高まり、1776年の独立宣言へとつながる。ボストンが今でもイギリスの雰囲気を残している理由がわかる。ボストンに来たら必ず立ち寄りたい場所だ。 私は時間がなかったので、ガイドツアーには参加せず、ショップだけに立ち寄った。ショップに入るのはもちろん無料。紅茶やティーカップなど、ここでしか買えない魅力的なアイテムがたくさん売られている。

５月ということもあり、学生さんが多かった。 日本の世界史の科目でも必ず出てくるボストン茶会事件の現場に行けて良かったです。 木箱のお茶やコースターなどをおみやげに買いました。 博物館は子供たちが沢山いて、お茶を落とすイベントをやっていたので、入りませんでした

当初、博物館の中を勝手に見学できるものと思い、訪れました。 ところが、見学ツアーに参加しなければ見学できないとのことで、ツアーに参加することにしました。 このツアー、ある程度の英語力がなければちょっとついていけないレベルで、しかもボストンティーパーティーの歴史を取り扱うため、そこでの中心人物だとか歴史的背景を先に勉強していかないと、まったく内容がわからないです。お茶の袋に見立てた荷物を海に投げ込んだり、約１時間ほどのツアーなんですが、かなり根性がいります。 ツアーが終わると、お土産ショップ案内されて解散となります。 ホントに、久しぶりに学校で先生がわからない問題を出して、誰に当てようかとしてる時に、「当たらないで」、先生と目を合わないように下を向いてハラハラしてたことを思い出しました。

ボストン茶会事件から一連のアメリカ独立に関する説明を受けられる博物館です。お茶を投げ入れるアクティビティ、コスプレをしたスタッフによるアジテーション等、楽しめます。 映画のムービーを使った動画鑑賞や、壁にかけた絵が動き出すアクションなど、参加者がきちんと楽しめる仕様になっています。

暖かい季節にはスワンボートが運航しており、隣のアメリカ最古の公園ボストンコモンと合わせて楽しめます。 私が滞在していたころは工事を行っている期間が長かったですが、そうでないときは花や池など自然豊かな情景を満喫できるいい公園です。 鴨の親子の銅像が季節ごとに飾りつけされており、非常にかわいいです。ポケモンgoのイベントの際にはたくさんの人でにぎわっていました。

ここに来て、ニューヨークとの違いを思い知りました。とても綺麗ですし、リスもたくさんいて癒されます。また来たいと思える公園でした。

穏やかで散歩にピッタリです。

良いところですよ。 犬を連れて散歩している人がたくさん。 そのマナーもとてもいいので、芝生に寝ころんだら犬のふん！！なんて危険は少なそう。 リスがいます。 たくさん。 しかし、都会っ子の日本人は気を付けて！ ここのリスは都会の中の公園に住んでいるってだけで、野生動物なんです。 少し距離があって、かわいい、と認識できる距離、それがベストであって、触れてみようとか、仲良くなりたい、なんていうつもりで近づくのは危険。

17年3月訪問 至近距離にあるThe College Club of BostonというB&Bに宿泊したため、朝の散歩はきまってこちらに。 犬の散歩をしている人とよく出会いましたが、さすがにボストンは中型～大型犬がほとんど。 地下鉄のArlington駅から地上に出る時は目印にもなったので、到着した初日の夜も迷うことなく、宿に辿り着けました。

19世紀前半に整備された由緒ある公園です。銅像もたくさんあって素晴らしい雰囲気でした。1日でもここで過ごせそうです。

ボストンのお決まりのお土産が揃います。ただ観光客向けで、値段も安くないし、面白いものもなし。まあ近隣も含めて、ボストンの典型的な散歩をするなら、行って見てもいいと思います。

ボストンの歴史で重要な場であったホール。Government center 駅から徒歩２分です。freedom trailと呼ばれる観光用の遊歩道の上にあります。１１時から入れるようです。午前中の早い時間は外から見るだけです。Samuel Adams は米国の独立に関わった人で、大きなサインを書いたことで有名です。ボストンのビールの名前になっています。

Boston & Maine Fish Companyは、ガイドのお勧めでした。ロブスターサンドが美味しかったです。クラムチャウダースープも美味しかったです。ただしテイクアウトができないので、店内もしくは最寄りのスペースで食べる必要があります。

お腹が空いたときに最適。クラムチャウダースープやロブスターサンドはもちろん、ピザ、ベーグル等豊富に揃っていました。

活気があってたくさんの人が楽しんでいました。

ローカルフードや雑貨屋などが揃っているので、現地の雰囲気を楽しみたい方にはオススメです。 ただ、逆に言えば、すごく特別感のある建物やお店があるわけではないので、"ああ、こんな感じね"という印象でした。

ザ・ボストンなモール、小さいお店がたくさんあってご飯も美味しいよ

家族連れに人気の科学博物館。Boston Library Passで無料で入館しました。 上野の科博には劣りますが、大人も子供も十分楽しめました。 展示だけでなく、動物ショーや雷ショー、プラネタリウムも面白かったです。

子供のための施設ですが、大人でも興味の持てるテーマを扱っていて時間が経つのを忘れてしまいます。日曜日で家族連れで混み合っていましたが、広くてたくさんの実験材料が用意されていますので、退屈しません。自分で触って、体験してみて理解する流れが素晴らしいですね。是非訪れてみてください。

マスクをしたＴレックスが外でお迎えしてくれます🦖CHICAGOでみた雷発生ショーにも驚きでしたが、その規模を軽くこえてきた！爆音だしドキドキするけど必見です⚡(日によって？スケジュールが、違うようなので要チェックです。)展示は、体験型で楽しんで学べました。広いので１日いれます。ミュージアムショップのグッズもかわいい！今度はプラネタリウム見てみたいです。

展示は充実してますが、内容は現地の子供向けが中心です。

展示はかなりコンパクトで、あちこちに古さが見受けられたり、隅っこに追いやられた展示があったりと、リノベーションしてもいいかもなぁ。と思う部分はありますが。 人気があるらしいテスラの電気ショーはあまり好みではありませんでしたが（こっちが勝手に映画の『プレステージ』みたいなものを想像していたせいです）、あちこちのブースで開かれている講義？みたいなの（Live Presentation）がとても面白い！一定程度英語力は必要ですが。今回聞いたのは「宇宙探査」というテーマでしたが、アポロ計画などはうっすらとでも知っていれば映像でカバーできますし、30分ほどの講義を真剣に聞き入ってしまいました。 時間が合わずプラネタリウムは見られませんでしたが、IMAXでの「Deep Sky」というプログラムは、ウェッブ望遠鏡の打ち上げとその偉業を掘り下げていて、見ごたえのあるプログラムでした。 小学生の見学ツアーでよく混みあっているので、ゆっくり見たいときは午後から行く方が良いかも？

子供向けの展示が多かったが、大人も十分楽しめる。

子供向けで家族で楽しめるミュージアムです。 チケットをセルフチェックで購入したのですがメールが届きませんでした。係員の方に伝えると名前からチケット検索して発行してもらえて助かりました。 ただ入場$29はちと高いかなあ。

広く美しい中庭を中心に、豪邸を回りながら世界中の展示物を鑑賞できる素晴らしい美術館です。全てが個人で収集していた美術品と聞きましたが、とても信じられないほどの数と素晴らしさです。世界最大規模の盗難事件が起きたことでも知られています。 美しい中庭は一見の価値あるので、近くにあるボストン美術館と共に訪れることをぜひお勧めします。

どこを切り取っても美しいので、何時間でも滞在できるほど魅力的。

ボストン在住の日本人ならボストン美術館と同じ様に一度は訪れているとの事なので５回目にして初めて来てみました。 人数制限をしているのでWEB予約して$5位とBOS美術館より時間も財布にも優しく、多少値は張るが食事も出来る。 専用パーキングは無いが路上パーキングは20〜30分公園の周りを回っていればタイミング良ければ停められる。90分＄4？だったかな。 子供は退屈するから大人向け。

ISGの熱意というか狂気にも思える収集品と建築です。興味深いのは収集当時のアイテムの価格が相当安かったことで、現在では個人でこれだけのものを集めるのは相当難しいでしょう。 なお、数年前まであったレッドソックス関連の品を身に着けていると割引というのはなくなりました。

絵の展示枚数は、mfaと比較にはなりません。自然光の下、古い館で見る貴重な絵画も価値がありますが、もう少しいっぱい見たいですね。2度目の訪問でしたが、私はコンディションの良い光の下で、十分なスペースを与えられた絵画をゆっくりと時間をかけて見る方が好きです。中庭の植物はきれいに整えられ、絵画の鑑賞で疲れている目を癒してくれるのは、とても素晴らしいと思います。

小規模だけど素敵な美術館です。中庭が奇麗なのが印象に残っています。日本の作品もたくさんあります。あまり系統だっての展示ではないので建物、庭、作品の調和を楽しんでください。

2017年に訪問。ボストン美術館から徒歩圏内です。私はリュックサックを身に着けていたのですが、入口で（リュックを）抱えて見学するようにと注意を受けました。館内の他の見学者への配慮を求められたのだと思います。館内の展示は自然光を生かした素晴らしいものでした。ぜひお勧めします。

びっくりするくらい大きな図書館でした。ボストンの街中にあり、教会や町の観光がてら、目に付いたので伺いましたがこれだけで観光スポットのひとつにしても良いのでは？と思うくらい素敵な場所だと思いました。蔵書量も去ることながら、圧巻すべきはハリーポッターの世界に入り込んだかのような勉強スペースです。ボストンは有名大学が沢山あり、勉強には長けているイメージでしたが、公共施設もこのレベルなので、街を挙げて学生を応援しているのだなと圧倒されました。将来自分の子供もこういった町で勉強をさせたいものです。

まるでハリーポッターの世界に来たかのような素敵な図書館でした。

1年ほどボストンに住んでいた際に、毎週末のように子供と遊びに行きました。中心地にあるアメリカ最古の大きな公園で、Boston観光ルートであるフリーダムトレイルの始まりの場所でもあります。 子供が遊べるPlay Groundや噴水、お土産屋さんやアルゼンチン料理のEmpanadasを売っている屋台などがあります。夏は足首程度までの浅いプールができ、子連れでにぎわいます。冬には同じ場所にスケートリンクが作られますが、料金はやや高く、レンタル靴は臭いです... メモリアルデーには、３万本を超える星条旗がささげられますが、その姿は圧巻です。ハロウィンでは大きなエアートランポリンやエアースライダーが設置されたり、クリスマスにはイルミネーションの飾り付けがされます。また、野外で劇が見れる「シェイクスピア・オン・ザ・コモン」も毎年開催されています。 リスやウサギも見ることができ、自然の中でのんびりとした時間を過ごすことのできる素晴らしい公園です。

9月の朝8時 旅行 早朝は人が少なく、空気も少し冷たく、とても心地良い 近くまで寄ってくるでかいリスが可愛すぎて、もし住んだら毎朝見に来たい ギフトショップもある モニュメントを見にきている他の観光客と少しの交流もできて 本当にいい場所だった！ フリーダムトレイル内で、自分的かなり上位に入る満足度！

冬はイルミネーションで夜も楽しめます。 アイススケートまであります 日本人はリスの多さに驚くのではないでしょうか？ リスはとてもかわいいので、毎日通勤中に見てます。

バランスの良い美術館です。 ミイラ、モネ、中国美術館と貯蔵の範囲が広く見どころ満載です。モネのラ・ジャポネーズはボストンにありますので、ジャポニズム興味ある人は行くべきですね。 全体的に混んでません。

内観も豪華で美しい。 館内は広すぎるので全部の作品を見るには丸一日かかりそう。

水曜日の午後4時から入場無料と聞いて訪れたところ、あと1時間で閉館とか…？ 諦めて売店でお土産物だけ購入。 美術に興味のない方でも知っている絵画のグッズがありお勧めです。

館内中央辺りに案内所があり、日本語のガイドブックを無料で配布しています。自分の居る場所がどこなのかわからなくなっても近くにいるスタッフさんに質問すれば、優しい英語で教えてくれますから大丈夫です。展示内容については素晴らしいの一言に尽きます。印象派のコーナーではずっと眺めていたかったくらい。確かレストラン（軽食が取れるような）が3か所くらいありましたので、一日掛けてゆっくり見学できます。Museum Shopも館内にあります。

The experience is really split into two parts- a self-guided tour around the schoolhouse and displays followed by a talk and walk around the meeting house. Look for the signs to the entrance as it's round the side of the schoolhouse! The talk and meeting house are really interesting. Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and the strides made in freedom and suffrage in MA. There is a lot of info so I'd recommend having a little read up before as it really brings it to life. The walk around the Meeting House is fascinating, it's a blend of authentic and renovated and has such a great atmosphere inside. There's also a section of the wall showing the different layers of plaster going down to the brick to show you the changes! The schoolhouse displays are focused on the area of Beacon Hill and its impact on the African American history of the area. It looks at the main figures with some artifacts (particularly interesting if you're into newspapers and their history) as well as a look at the development of the schoolhouse and segregated education. There are exhibits on the upper floor as well however at present, it's centred around a school project that local classes took part in and the resulting artwork. The art itself is great and very interesting with chairs set up for discussions, however I think the exhibit could possibly be developed a little more to link back to the main displays and really bring the experience full circle.
