Resort hotel
La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa is a sophisticated hotel with an outdoor pool, fitness center, and serene spa. Nestled near the old town, it offers a taste of Hoi An's luxury hospitality and embraces the UNESCO world cultural heritage site. The resort features various guest accommodations across three wings, including townhouse villas with verandas and balconies. Guests can unwind in the exclusive spa or take a dip in the saltwater and freshwater pools.
such a great place. two amazing workers there, Chloe - works at the reception and helped us with organising so much. she would book everything for us and even gave us special things for my aunty’s birthday such as cakes and decorations in the room. and Hau - works at the Italian restaurant in the resort. he is the sweetest human being, always a smile on his face and keen to have a chat. both deserve a promotion! It was also so great to have shuttle buses and tours organised for us by the hotel. could not recommend this resort more!!!

This resort was perfection! The service from ALL of the staff is simply exceptional, they are kind and helpful. The location is really wonderful, a 15 minute walk into the old town or a couple of minutes drive (cost about 50 vnd), on the edge of Hoi An, alongside beautiful rice fields. The two restaurants on site are actually so wonderful, high quality food and amazing cocktails and drinks (with daily happy hour). The spa on site is truly incredible, I went there twice and they treat you so well. It was a dream. I genuinely can’t think of a better place to stay when in Hoi An and I really can’t wait to return here one day.

Stayed here in mid-August with family and friends. I first stayed here 10 years ago before their expansion when it was called Essence Hotel. It remains as well run as I remembered. The staff here are great. Thanks to Ngoc and Chloe for being very welcoming and helpful. We had unfortunate issues with smells from the AC in our room but service recovery was good. The Executive rooms / suites are all a good size. Bed feels larger than a regular European King size, probably Eastern King. Exec Duplex Suite on the top floor has nice views and ample space to add a bed and cot. Resort grounds are beautiful with 4 pools. Kids club is a plus, rare for hotels closer to Old Town. Breakfast at Temple is good. Pool side food and room service from Temple is decent. Did not try Red bean or Dinner. Location wise, while the walk to Old Town is not a big deal for abled adults, you’ll need a taxi or buggy for young kids. The resort should run its own buggy or shuttle service at night as the 3rd party buggies are not ideal (only picks up from 1 point on the edge of Old Town and there can be a wait at peak hours) and Grab drivers will cancel your booking unless you speak to them directly and agree to paying extra.

This was my second visit to La Siesta after last year, and once again I felt I made the perfect choice. Although I booked a Classic Wing room, I was generously upgraded to the Club Wing, which gave me a more spacious and comfortable stay. That thoughtful gesture set a wonderful tone for the rest of my trip. I truly recommend booking directly with La Siesta instead of using Agoda or other platforms. With their Match Price Service, they not only honor the lowest rate you can find, but also provide additional benefits that make the whole process more satisfying and worthwhile. Most importantly, I want to sincerely thank HANG, who assisted me during check-in. Her warm smile, kind explanations, and attentive care made me feel genuinely welcomed. Thanks to her, this trip became even more memorable and heartwarming. It wasn’t just a simple check-in process—it felt like being personally cared for, which I will never forget. La Siesta is not only a place to stay, but also a place that touches your heart with sincerity and outstanding service. On my next visit, I truly hope to see HANG again and be welcomed by her kind hospitality once more. I am deeply grateful to both La Siesta and HANG for creating such an unforgettable memory for me.

The room is amazingly comfy and everything was good! Hang is really cute and friendly! She just fulfilled all our needs and make us feel like home. Breakfast was also good, they have really nice pasta I believe you can make a wonderful holiday here

We recently stayed at La Siesta Hoi An with our family after spending time at the 5-star Hyatt Regency. From the very beginning, Tran welcomed us with such warmth and genuine kindness that immediately made us feel at home. Throughout our entire stay, she consistently checked if everything was comfortable and ensured that we had no inconveniences at all. Her attentiveness and professionalism were even beyond what we had experienced at a 5-star resort. I truly believe the quality of a hotel is defined by the people who work there, and Tran is the perfect example of that. The hotel itself was wonderful, but it was her exceptional service that made our experience unforgettable. Because of Tran, we would gladly return to La Siesta Hoi An again.

This resort deserves all 5 stars! We came here for our honeymoon and the staff and venue made our stay so special. From decorating our bed, to nightly locally sourced gifts placed on our bed, to remembering our orders and dietary needs - it was a lovely stay from beginning to end. The staff deserve a special shout out, they truly are so friendly and quick with their service. Everyone says hi to you when passing by and they went above and beyond to help us feel cared for, especially since we eat vegetarian meals, but they ensured we had more than enough delicious food to eat. We would book this resort again if ever back in Hoi An!
Tanya H — Google review
We received a spacious, serene, clean, room with views of rice fields and a large balcony overlooking a quiet infinity poll which we preferred as the main pool can get busy. This resort has four different pools, each with different atmospheres: there’s a main pool near the lobby, an adults-only one, a kids’ / shallow pool, a salt pool, plus an infinity pool overlooking the rice fields. We loved the Temple Restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast everyday. We also had an excellent dinner there of asparagus with a finely chopped salad and fresh pasta with tender lamb shank. We also enjoyed an excellent glass of excellent wine there on the swing outside in the evening. The staff was professional & helpful and the resort feels somewhat secluded and peaceful yet still within easy reach of the Old Town. They do provide bicycles and have a shuttle service to town and to the beach. The resort had a turn down service, which we appreciate, one of the best spa massages i’ve had so far and Hoang .. I do hope I spelled his name right, was especially helpful!

Youth hostel
Hoi An Love.Ly Hostel is a charming accommodation that seamlessly combines a cozy atmosphere with an elegant touch, making it a sought-after choice in Hoi An. Nestled in the heart of downtown, the property offers proximity to various attractions while enjoying a tranquil setting during evenings. The hostel provides immaculate private and dormitory-style rooms with simple yet tasteful decor and abundant natural light. For an authentic local experience and a homely ambiance, Love.
This might be my favourite hostel I’ve stayed in in south east Asia so far. We stayed in a mix bed dorm with 6 people and it was super spacious with no bunk beds and an en-suite. The bathroom was nice and clean and there was a really lovely communal area downstairs. There are activities each night, the family dinner is particularly nice and such a nice way to meet people as is the game night. It is not a party hostel but a nice chill social hostel that I would HIGHLY recommend. The staff were so helpful- as soon as we got there we had a run down of all the recommended places for food and the activities we wanted to do which was AMAZING. Could not recommend it enough!!
Katie D — Google review
Could not have stayed at a better Hostel in Hoi An. I did not want a party hostel but still wanted some sort of atmosphere. It’s a very homely feeling here. (You can also keep to yourself if you’re after that too 🙂) The staff were exceptionally helpful and gave STELLAR recommendations (check out Sniff Cafe 😍). Special shout-out to Hoi (she’s a tailor herself!) for all her patience, guidance and directing me to the best place in Hoi An to get my suits done. She gave me tips and pointers to not fall into the common tourist traps. Oh and of course the rooms were spacious, comfortable, great value AND they clean the ensuite bathroom every day!
KatsNotDogs — Google review
It was a really Love.ly stay;). It's a 5 min walk to the Oldtown where all the tailors and restaurants are. The personal was so kind and always happy to help. They made us feel very welcome. Especially in the evening there is ether family dinner which is delicious or the game night with a lot of fun games. It is really easy to get to know everyone. Also the rooms were really clean and the facilities as well.
Karoline W — Google review
My favourite hostel yet on this trip of 4 months in SE Asia. Staff are the best. Perfect amount of social with the family dinners and card game nights. Beds are comfy and not bunk beds!! But have curtains- so you don’t have to share with anyone and you have your own space. Loved every moment here and I couldn’t help but come back 3 separate occasions. I stayed a total of 8 nights. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Hoi An
Eloise G — Google review
A lovely hostel! Hoi is so friendly and knowledgable and a great family feel. Easy to meet other travellers and lots of great recommendations. Rooms are nice and clean. We took the hostels easy rider tour to Hue and it was a real highlight of my trip so far, would highly recommend booking this with them.
A K — Google review
I cannot stress enough how lovely and friendly this hostel is. I have learnt so much about Vietnamese culture, games, people. The staff Hỗi and Ly are incredible, when I say incredible I mean that they single handedly made my stay in Hoi An. I mean that earnestly. From the vibe and immediate information regarding local places to eat and try things out, it is high quality. There is always someone at the desk from 06:30 till late. The breakfast is lovely with nice choice and family dinner/Vietnamese lessons are lovely ways to have a good conversation. By far this is my favourite hostel I have stayed in and I extended multiple nights due to the hospitality here. Cám ơn Hai Chi!
Alex C — Google review
One of our favorite hostels in SE Asia!!! Hoi, a true gem, is an incredible, all-around wonderful and insightful gal! She will help you select the best place for your tailoring/coffee/adventure needs and even teach you how to get the best deal! The hostel is social with a lot of fun nightly activities! Hope to come back one day!! Thanks again!

Green Garden House is a 3-star bed and breakfast located in Hoi An, just a short distance from popular attractions like Hoi An Market and Old House of Tan Ky. The property offers convenient amenities such as airport transfer, 24-hour reception, and housekeeping. Additionally, guests can take advantage of the free car park and on-site barber shop. The accommodation is situated in the Hoi An Ancient Town district, within walking distance to Japanese Bridge and other landmarks.
We stayed with Jenny and her family at green garden house for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived they were so welcoming. We arrived in Hoi An very early in the morning from the overnight bus, although our room wasn't available she made sure that we could have a different room earlier to shower/rest which was very much appreciated. The location is perfect walking distance to the old town/central area. We also got many clothes tailored by Jenny & her family (men's 3 piece suit, linen trousers/shorts, women's pant suit, linen dress, satin dress) for a good quality and price. We are very happy with the finished clothes, Jenny is very particular with the tailoring and she knows exactly what needed amending to achieve the perfect fit. Thank you!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The family that runs it are super nice and helpful. It’s in a convenient location, really tidy and clean, and great value. They also offer tailoring - I got two shirts made which I’m very happy with. Also helped me book a bus to Hanoi and made it very easy. I’d definitely stay again.
Tom R — Google review
The rooms were lovely, and the hosts were very gracious. We arrived very early in the morning after a bus ride. They offered us a highly discounted price to let us have the rooms and get the sleep we desperately needed despite our check-in being at 2 that afternoon.

A nice place to stay while in Hoi An. Mdm Trihn & family is friendly and helpful. My husband & I made dress and shirts with her too. Made small leather bags in a leather shop nearby and get them delivered to the homestay. Will surely return in future when time permits
Audrey S — Google review
We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms had everything you’d need and were relatively cheap. The host was really friendly and can even arrange transport to/from Da Nang for cheaper prices than Grab. The only improvement I can think of is having thicker blackout curtains, as come 6am the room gets quite bright and wakes you up.
Augustas J — Google review
Nicest family in Hoi An, she also is a great tailor, had a beautiful pant and shirt made! Walkable to lots of restaurants and mini marts Have extended my stay twice, love it here!

Location: Mentioning if it's central, near specific sights, or easy to get to. Cleanliness: Describing the state of the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Staff: Highlighting their helpfulness, friendliness, or professionalism.

Fantastic little hotel run by a very friendly and helpful family. Excellent breakfasts with fresh fruit and coffee included. Great location, walking distance to old town. The owner is a tailor and made me a beautiful dress and my husband a shirt. Her prices are better than the tailor shops and her work is very high quality. We really enjoyed staying here. If I come back to Hoi An I will stay here again.

Little Hoi An Boutique Hotel & Spa is a charming riverside hotel located just across the river from Hoi An's Old Quarter. The hotel offers 30 beautifully decorated rooms and suites that showcase traditional crafts and modern amenities, including balconies with river or town views. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to the Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An markets. The hotel also features a spa, covered pool, pool bar, fitness center, and even offers Vietnamese cooking lessons.
It's amazing that the hotel is kept at such pristine condition after more than 200yrs. The rooms are amazing and comfortable. Service by the front staffs are excellent. Special mention to Ms Cherry for her kind thoughts and gesture. We had a birthday boy in our group and the hotel staff surprise us with a birthday cake and song during breakfast. Location is good. Away from the buzz and noise but yet not too far off the main river where you find the main activities. There is also a decent gym and swimming pool which is ideal for those who wants to squeeze in a quick workout during their vacation.

We had the most wonderful stay at Little Hoi An Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, they even surprised us with a welcome cake delivered right to our room, such a thoughtful touch! The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and so comfortable, with lovely details that made it feel special. The breakfast each morning was fantastic with plenty of variety, and the swimming pool was just perfect, such a relaxing spot after exploring Hoi An. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The combination of amazing service, comfort, and little touches of hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An!

Fabulous hotel in a great location far enough from the chaos but close enough to walk. We got stuck in SaPa due to a landslide and had to push our booking by a day and they facilitated this at no extra charge. The staff are fantastic, polite, helpful and deliver service with a smile. Aimee was particularly helpful but so were all of the staff we met. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and the option to sit outside by the river, which we did both mornings. We booked a river view suite and it was worth it, plenty of space, huge bed and a great view. The rooftop pool was nice also especially at Sunset. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would.

Location is amazing! Everything is at your doorstep. The hotel was clean, the restaurant was tasty, the pool was a nice place to cool down after a day out exploring. The staff were attentive to your needs and always greeted you with a smile and ready to help wherever possible. The room we were in had great views and there was always something for look at. Happy hour on the front deck was fun watching the hustle of Hoi An. Would highly recommend.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the Old City, which made it very easy to explore the main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I hope to come back again soon!

Lovely staff members greeting you on arrival. Providing information on what see in Hoi An. Rooms very nice and presentable. Location of the hotel is away from tourists and within walking distance of Old Town. Free bike hire was very convenient for myself and my partner. The staff at the breakfast buffet were very lovely and friendly. If I was to visit Hoi An again, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us.

very attentive staff! Kate is amazing (even remembered our names). Room is a bit aged but functioned well. Great hospitality, breakfast included is pretty decent. Room is spacious with vintage vibes. The hotel also offers day tour option and we joined the coconut boat tour where transport is arranged without hussle.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The location is unbeatable—right on the riverfront and just a short 5-minute walk to the ancient town. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring super convenient. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and always had a warm smile. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, a wonderful stay and a memorable experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Located on Hoi An Beach in Vietnam, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai is a luxurious beachfront resort set in a 35-hectare tropical garden. The resort offers sleek villas with contemporary Asian design and modern amenities. With its proximity to historical and natural sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An Old Town, guests can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Wow the bad reviews here are insane, I travel often and stay at nice hotels.. this is hands down my favorite four seasons and luxury property in general. The rooms were immaculate, well thought through in terms of amenities and turn down service. It’s rare that a hotel will have incredible food all around - especially included breakfast. This was the BEST food of any hotel. Great alcohol selection too. They are also extremely accommodating to allergies and dietary restrictions. The staff is SO friendly and polite. The pool was incredible, views incredible. The people who think this location is inconvenient have clearly never been to a luxury hotel. It’s about 15-20 minutes from town and they have a free shuttle. Also, a taxi is like $4 so who cares. If you’re looking for luxury, this is it. You will not regret staying here.
Sayble — Google review
This peaceful place has beautifully designed villas with great ocean views, private gardens, and heated pools. The service is amazing, the food is top-notch, and the tranquil Heart of the Earth Spa makes for an unforgettable experience. Just a quick drive from the ancient charm of Hoi An, this resort perfectly mixes cultural history with modern style. It’s the ideal spot for anyone who wants a super romantic and relaxing getaway.

I can only say this is one fantastic resort. From the location at a wonderful beach inmidst 100s of palm trees, to the perfectly trained and warmhearted staff to great rooms and food , this hotel has it all. But of course perfection comes at a price. Can fully recommend this hotel !

Our experience at the Four Seasons Resort was truly satisfying. The layout of the bedroom and family room was very well designed and practical for real use. Our family had a wonderfully enjoyable vacation here. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Khanh, our exceptional butler. He was extremely considerate and responded promptly to every request. My parents mentioned that they would love to come back here for our next holiday. Thank you for creating such a pleasant and memorable vacation experience for our family.
Jaehun L — Google review
I almost never make an effort to write a review, but this experience was one that was deserving of one. The service was second to none. Every detail was anticipated, every request handled with warmth and genuine care. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness can only be described in one way: they may have Four Seasons, but only one mission — to give their guests the best possible experience. We stayed in villa 4290 with our little girl. From the moment we arrived, every aspect of our stay was perfection. The villa, the venue, and especially the team — led by incredible people like Marco, Phung Tran, Toi, Thu, Hoa, Thao, and the gentleman in the white shirt — all made our experience unforgettable. There were many more names; from Front Office , to F&B, to the bellmen and housekeeping; ALL their staff were exceptional and kind. Truly one of the most exceptional hospitality experiences we’ve ever had.
T T — Google review
A Truly Unforgettable Birthday Stay at Four Seasons Danang I visited the Four Seasons Resort in Danang, Vietnam to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable stays ever! The team went above and beyond by upgrading our villa — it was absolutely stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed. We had a personal butler, Quan, who deserves a special mention. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The in-room dining was exceptional — my husband has dietary restrictions, and Quan made sure special Indian dishes were prepared for him. That personal touch truly made our stay extra special. The spa experience was out of this world — the therapists were skilled and caring. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Sudha, a naturopath at the resort. She’s absolutely wonderful and meeting her is a must for anyone visiting. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was served with such warmth and hospitality. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome at every moment. I could go on and on about how amazing this resort is — it’s not just the breathtaking beauty of the property, but the kindness and heart of the people that make it unforgettable. Highly recommend the Four Seasons Danang for anyone looking for a luxurious, soulful, and heartwarming getaway!
Sakina J — Google review
Absolutely stunning property. We stayed at the beach front villa and loved it. It was spacious and very comfortable. Excellent amenities. Superb gym, huge pools and great food at the Vietnamese and Indian restaurants. A bar with a nice view to the beach. Took a cooking class to learn how to make Vietnamese spring rolls which was a memorable experience. Location is close to Hoi An old quarter but a little far off from Da Nang airport which is better than the other way around. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this amazing hotel on the seashore. The hotel is located on the seashore. The villa where we stayed was located about a minute's walk to a white beach, a quiet and pleasant sea. The hotel is built perfectly and beautifully and it seems that every detail has been thought of here to make the stay here nothing less than perfect. The staff is very welcoming, the service is the best we have encountered in the world and we can only describe the experience of staying here as perfect. Thank you very much!

This homestay is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing space. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the owner is always happy to help with anything you need. Hoi An Viet House Homestay is definitely worth checking out if you're visiting Vietnam!
Tan, the sweet owner. She is lovely, very friendly and helps out with anything. Booked the room last minute and everything was great. Prefect location in the city too ! Quiet at night and safe place to stay.

Our stay at Viethouse Homestay was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we arrived, the host was unbearable—extremely rude, loud, and completely inconsiderate. Every morning at 6 AM, her voice echoed throughout the entire house, making it impossible to rest. She had no respect for guests and acted as if she owned the entire space, treating everyone with hostility. The rooms were filthy, the bathroom was disgusting, and the shower was constantly clogged. However, the worst part was what happened on the terrace. My partner sat down for just five minutes, and when he got up, he barely touched a glass table next to another one, which had no tablecloth or protection. The table instantly shattered, creating a dangerous situation. Thankfully, he wasn’t hurt, but it could have been much worse. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the host immediately started yelling at us, blaming us entirely and demanding full payment for the table. When we calmly asked to see the security camera footage, she lost control—she screamed at us, threatened to call the police, and completely refused to show us any evidence. Her aggressive and unhinged behavior made us feel unsafe. In the end, just to get out of that toxic environment, we paid half the amount and left. This woman is one of the rudest and most disrespectful hosts I have ever encountered. She has no professionalism, no manners, and no concern for guest safety. Staying here was a horrible experience, and I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs

I booked a room at this hostel through you. After they contacted me on WhatsApp, I spoke with them and explained that I was supposed to arrive at 11:00 AM. They told me they could keep my luggage and that I could check in at 1:30 PM. When I arrived, there was no reception at all. I was greeted by two elderly women who didn’t speak any English and couldn’t understand what I was saying. I tried calling the contact person from the hostel, but he wasn’t available. I sent him several messages, and he still didn’t respond. I asked one of the women to call the manager, and she did. When I spoke to the manager on the phone, she started yelling. I couldn’t understand a word she said, and then she hung up on me. I kept trying to reach her on WhatsApp, but unfortunately, I received no response. I told her to cancel my booking, and she said they hadn’t done anything wrong. Do not book a room here! Terrible service, absolutely no English communication, and no reception!

Nice homestay , very good price for what you get . The owner have good vibes ,helpful , helped us with renting a bike , explained me how to get to the beach. They cleaned the room when we wanted. Yes just a little thing she was very nervous about paying as if we would run away I don’t remember. And the thing with the water in the room . No other place in Vietnam changed is for that .( you can maybe put just two little bottles like every other place and people can buy big bottles and beer downstairs) but overall was very good and we was very happy.

Very nice room, spacious, clean and affordable! The guesthouse is very well located, close to the center but not in a too touristy area which is a good thing in Hoi An. The owner was very helpful, I forgot one of my bags and she kept it for me for a few days until I could take it back ! Overall a very pleasant stay.

Stayed 5 nights at this homestay. Overall our experience was ok. Yes our room was clean, we had a clean bed & bathroom and it was a good price. However, the host was constantly trying to sell us a tour/transfer and really I just didn’t like this feeling. Our room was unfortunately connecting to another so we didn’t sleep very well for 4 out of the 5 nights as the other room was occupied & noisy. The first time in Vietnam were we were expected to pay for water in our room. We didn’t, we got our own water and owner told us it was the same price as the home stays… (very nosey in my opinion and feels very intruding). We arrived and immediately before we even had keys to our room the owner was trying to sell us everything before even getting our names. What our schedule was for the next few days etc, we really didn’t like this feeling and it felt very intrusive and personally we don’t like giving this much information. Plus we already had everything planned as we are planners so the owner wasn’t too happy. The bed didn’t have a proper blanket so we only had a fitted sheet and the bed wasn’t that comfortable. There is a lot of noise as the window in the bathroom doesn’t close and we had a dog constantly barking our entire stay, alongside the interconnecting room, really wasn’t ideal. The cleaner & man who was there in the evenings were super kind and really made us feel so welcome however the constant selling is just a lot when you arrive and throughout your stay. We wouldn’t stay again.

The Happy Bird B&B is a charming accommodation located in Hoi An, just 200 meters from Ha Beach. The property offers comfortable family rooms, a bar, free private parking, and a lovely garden. Guests can enjoy the proximity to An Bang Beach and Cua Dai Beach. The rooms are impeccably clean with elegant decor and cozy bedding. The on-site cafe 'Yesh!' serves delicious meals, and guests can easily access nearby shops, bars, and restaurants.
What a gem! As delightful as its name. The location near the beach is fantastic, and the vibe is so chill. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the hosts were super helpful with tips on local spots to visit. Don’t skip watching the sunrise on the beach—absolutely magical!

Hosts took 4–6 hours to reply to each of my messages, which made it impossible to smoothly plan my vacation (I previously booked this hotel via Airbnb). The room itself is nice — Loft 1 is better than Loft 2. However, the stress from the lack of communication ruined the overall experience.

Lovely artistic rooms, hosted by a wonderful German-Viet couple. No air con yet outstanding ambience and a nice cocoon of a garden.

Had stayed this place once and come back here again for the breakfast. Rooms: Lovely, great but it doesn’t have AC and we got the mosquitoes. Breakfast: Super good. This time, I went back and impressed by their passion for coloring and new menu design.
Amber — Google review
Our experience here was a bit mixed... As others have stated, it looks quite wonderful for pictures.. Comfort was a bit less than we'd hoped. The hosts are not the 'hosts', they are the owners. We saw them once when handing over the key and besides that they couldn't be bothered to have a talk when they passed by to check on the restaurant every day. No AC, only a fan and a mosquito net that doesn't cover the entire bed (and so, is de facto useless). Also had a weird moment where the male owner was giving the staff a lecture on something they did wrong in a pretty disrespectful manner (maybe not the smartest to do this while guests are sitting 10m away). Lastly, we were told by the owner that every 2 day housekeeping would come by, that didn't happen. Bottom line: you can find nicer places nearby. Stay elsewhere and come for the breakfast -which is really nice-. The staff themselves are the only good part, the two ladies were respectful, kind, polite at all times and we did not have one problem with the food or drinks. Theres at least 3 other places to rent a bungalow nearby for the same price that have greater comfort.

Perfect place! A small oasis, 5 minutes from the beach. We stayed with Michael and Kim for one week and were very pleased. Stunning hospitable atmosphere, delicious cuisine, stylish rooms that have everything you need. Michael and Kim helped with advice about the area and we often just chatted over morning coffee. The owners are open, friendly, with an incredible story. Every day we were surrounded by care and at the same time we could completely relax. We definitely recommend it to all travelers who want and are ready to discover the world!

Great little bite right by the old city (2 minute walk). Rooms a big and clean, the pool is a very nice plus, and the staff is EXCEPTIONAL. Eric is the kindest, most attentive hotel manager. He made the stay extra special. Luna is also a little gem, very attentive to our needs. Breakfast is served: fresh fruit, bread, fresh fruit juice and also things off a menu.

Loved my stay at Ancient Haven, the people that work here are super friendly and so nice. The room was huge, big king bed also and clean and Ac worked great. One of the lady’s that was at the reception i mentioned to her i really likes the coconut crackers and i was going to buy some to bring it home and she gave me a box of them as a gift, i thought that was so sweet and kind of her. The location is close to the old town and the markets which was great.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The amenities were well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff — especially Didi at the reception. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and kind from the moment I arrived. Her warm smile and helpful attitude made me feel right at home. Whether I had a question or needed help with directions, Didi was always patient and attentive. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guests the way she does. Thanks again to the whole team and a special thank you to Didi for making my stay extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had the opportunity to stay here for 4 nights, and from the moment I set foot in this place, I’ve been continuously impressed by how lovely and kind all the staff are, as well as their five-star service. The room was clean, spacious, pleasantly scented, and had perfectly cool air conditioning. The bed was soft and comfortable — there’s honestly nothing to complain about! The hotel is also conveniently located near major attractions like the Old Town Market — just a short walk away. They offer laundry service, motorbike rentals, and even airport transfers. (Very cheap too) What impressed me the most was that on the days I had to leave early for sightseeing, the staff thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box for me, packed neatly in a paper bag — I was so touched by that gesture! :) Thank you to all the staff for making this trip such a fun and memorable experience! :)

A fantastic hotel experience at a great price. We were walk-in guests and only stayed one night but the staff are just the kindest sweetest, most accommodating people you're likely to meet while on your trip. The rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable. The complimentary bicycles were a big plus. Can't wait to return someday 🥰

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was very good, from the man who helped us with our things to the service at reception, which was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. Nestled in the serene Tan An neighborhood, Minh Trang Villa Hoi An is a charming retreat that perfectly blends comfort and hospitality. Just a short drive from popular attractions like Hoi An Night Market and Chua Cau, this villa offers easy access to the vibrant culture of the area. The stunning colonial architecture features balconies with picturesque views, allowing guests to soak in the light and fresh air while enjoying the tranquility of its leafy surroundings.
Stayed here for 1 night with my partner and wish we would've stayed here longer from start. We previously stayed somewhere else and regretted it so much. The couple who runs the place are the sweetest and friendliest. They managed to prepare our room earlier so we could rest. They were so kind and welcoming. They offer free bicycle rental and have scooters for rent as well. They gave us recommendations and would take their time to help as much as they could. We had a problem with one of the bicycles during our day and they would both come to pick us up. They helped us book transport to Nha Trang and gave us a ride to the pickup location and made sure we would get there on time. I will highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a peaceful and honest stay. The beds were comfortable and the room is very spacious and clean as well. The view from the balcony was amazing too. The location is perfect, accessible throughout hoi an by either walking or cycling.

I’ve felt truly comfortable and welcome during our whole stay here. Minh Trang and Luke are not only incredibly kind but also very respectful — they make you feel at home while always giving you your space. It’s rare to find hosts who strike that balance so naturally. The house itself is beautiful, peaceful, and has such a warm atmosphere. Everything is well taken care of, and it’s clear they put a lot of heart into making this a special place for their guests. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place with genuinely lovely hosts.

Absolutely wonderful, a beautiful colonial building with balconies overlooking the rooftops, a lot of light and fresh air. It is on a nice, leafy street in a calm neighborhood. The coffee shop across the road is excellent. The owners are lovely and humble and keep the place meticulously clean. The pool is refreshing and spotless, (free) bicycles are available to get around town. The "1-star" rating does not remotely do it justice. It is nicer than many "3-star" hotels. It truly feels like home. Highly recommended.

We had originally planned to stay at this homestay for just 10 days, but thanks to the incredible hospitality and how peaceful, well-maintained, and comfortable the place is, we decided to extend our stay for a whole month. Minh Trang and Luke are a wonderful couple who manage everything with such care and attention. They’re always checking in to make sure we have everything we need and that we’re feeling at home. When we asked to switch to a larger room for the rest of our extended stay, they made the change happen within just a few days, offering us a fair and honest price. Their kindness and genuine care truly made all the difference. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a cozy and relaxing place to stay.

Great family operating the facility. They were very always so helpful. Great prices, great room and comfortable mattress, clean and safe. Very nice pool and in house laundry and motorbike rentals. So affordable and in a quiet neighborhood of hỏi a proper.

Our family (my partner and our two little girls under 5) planned to stay here for just a week. But when our youngest hurt her foot and needed a hospital visit, we decided to extend our stay to three weeks—and honestly, it turned out to be the best decision. We couldn't have found a better place to call home during that time. Luke was amazing—always ready to help with anything we needed. His English is great, making conversations easy. He even helped us order things online for our girls when we couldn't find them locally. Plus, when we moved to another room, he hung a TV on the wall so our kids could watch their favorite shows. Minh Trang welcomed us with open arms. Even though she doesn't speak English, we used a translation app to chat, and it worked out just fine. The location is perfect—just a 15-minute walk to the old town or a quick motorbike ride. Our extended stay in Hoi An was fantastic, and we'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and accommodating spot! Great local store with a hairdresser and nail salon down the street. We found multiple great food spots aswell.

The Mansion Hoi An is a stylish Arabian-inspired hotel located in the Cam Chau district, just a short walk from the city center. The hotel offers free parking, an outdoor swimming pool with river views, and live performances for guests to enjoy. The rooms are beautifully designed with wonderful amenities, and some even feature private pools and outdoor seating areas. Guests can also take advantage of free yoga lessons during their stay.
We loved staying at The Mansion for our stay in Hoi an! It was slightly further away from Old Town BUT the surrounding food, culture and endless coffee shops were 10x better without the old town prices. Walk around the back street for the billards club for endless late night fun. The pool was fabulous, the staff were attentive and the breakfast every morning was convenient and tasty!

I recently stayed at this hotel (09/10/2024-10/10/2024) and was quite disappointed with the experience. The towels provided were dirty, with noticeable hair and stains, which was really off-putting. On top of that, there was no hot water for the shower, making it impossible to have a proper shower. I tried calling the front desk at night to report these issues, but the telephone in the room didn’t work. While I understand this is a budget option, clean towels and hot water are basic necessities that every hotel should offer. I expected more, even at this price point, and hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
Orion L — Google review
Underwhelming experience. The room was ok, but every other aspect of the place is disappointing. The free bikes are falling apart, so is the building, there is little to no staff, walls and windows are paper thin, and the pool is so dirty it's unusable.
Alexandre K — Google review
The pictures make the hotel seem a lot nicer than it actually is. We had to move out of our first room due to mould. All the rooms have glass panels in the doors, which does undermine your privacy. Also, light from the corridors shines through the glass when you’re trying to sleep (see picture). The breakfast was VERY disappointing. Instead of ‘baguette’ we had slices of white, processed bread. On one evening the water stopped working and bathroom items had not been topped up. I would NOT recommend.

Such a lovely & aesthetic spot. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed hiring out their bikes for free. They arranged drivers to and from the airport. We stayed at the upstairs room facing the road so it was a little noisy in the morning but it didn’t bother us.

This is a great accommodation experience, the hotel is very beautiful, the breakfast is also delicious, and you can also eat local special noodles ( Cao lau ). The floating breakfast is beautiful and you can take nice pictures. And the most important thing: the service is great, front desk staffs are excellent, special thanks to Arthur! The private pool is so beautiful, today is our happiest day in Vietnam! I recommend people from all over the world to come to the mansion hotel! So many thanks!! <3

My family and I stayed here for about 2 nights. The place is very clean and beautifully designed. The staff were very helpful and nice. I had the VIP room with the private pool and my parents had the upstairs room. All of the rooms have wonderful amenities with everything you will need. I would highly recommend the room with the private pool! You get your own pool and private outdoor seating area (perfect for sunbathing!). Hotel is walking distance to anywhere in Hoi An as well.

Nestled in the charming area of Cam Ha, Lasanta Villa offers a delightful retreat just a short drive from Hoi An's vibrant Night Market and the serene An Bang Beach. This inviting villa features six cozy rooms, including a family suite, along with amenities like an outdoor pool and a rooftop terrace that provides stunning views. Guests can enjoy access to a communal kitchen and laundry facilities, making it perfect for both short getaways and extended stays.
We stayed 2 nights in Lasanta during our honey moon. The owner made our stay very romantic and surprised us with the bed decorated by rose petals. The room was very clean and spacious with a huge and comfortable bed. They offered us renting bikes for free, so we spent great time in Hoi An enjoying landscapes and exploring the town. Our host and her family are really kind, lovely and helpful people. Thank you for everything! 🤗

This is definitely more of a self-service budget accommodation. The family members we met were very nice, but during most of our visit, they were not around. There were no security measures - just an open, unattended front door. The wifi was just okay and a little slow to render photos. We were left without electricity twice during our stay. After expressing some of our frustrations through the booking app, the manager responded and made some changes such as cleaning up the pool. Breakfast was actually not offered and we were discounted 100k per day. The room included a kettle, mini-fridge, smart TV, and hair dryer. The view from the open 4th floor terrace was nice and there were some tables and chairs to sit. We did not try the laundry machines. The beds were comfortable and there was an elevator. The free bikes were better once the tires got pumped and made for a easy commute to and from the beach.

As a solo female traveler, my stay at Lasanta Villa was an absolute dream come true! From the moment I stepped into this charming oasis, I felt completely at ease and welcomed like family. Phuong and her lovely family went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home, which is priceless when you're traveling alone. They were always ready with local tips, from the best banh mi spots to hidden gems in the Old Town. My room was a perfect sanctuary - spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything I needed. The smart TV and comfy workstation were great for unwinding after long days of exploration. But the real star was the bathtub - perfect for relaxing soaks while enjoying the serene views of Tra Que vegetable village from my window. The location is ideal for solo travelers. Being just 1km from An Bang Beach and 2.5km from the Old Town, I had easy access to both without feeling overwhelmed by tourist crowds. The free bicycle was a game-changer - I loved my daily rides through the picturesque countryside, feeling safe and free. The rooftop terrace quickly became my favorite spot. Watching the sunset over the rice paddies, with Ba Na Hills in the distance, was breathtaking. It was the perfect place for morning yoga or evening reflection. Phuong's help in arranging tours and airport transfers took all the stress out of planning. Her suggestions for female-friendly tailors in Hoi An were spot on - I left with some beautiful custom-made clothes! The little touches made a big difference - free filtered water, a mini-fridge for snacks, and the swimming pool for cooling off. The DIY laundry option was super convenient for a long-term traveler like me. What I appreciated most was the sense of community. Phuong often introduced me to other guests, and we ended up sharing meals and experiences. It was comforting to know that help was always just a call away, whether I needed a late night grab bike or dinner recommendations. For solo female travelers looking for a safe, comfortable, and authentic experience in Hoi An, Lasanta Villa is an absolute gem. It's more than just accommodation - it's a home away from home with a built-in support system. I left with a heart full of memories and a promise to return. Thank you, Phuong and family, for making my solo adventure so special!

I recently spent two months at Lasanta Villa, and I can confidently say it's the perfect home away from home for long-term stays in Hoi An. Nestled at the edge of the picturesque Tra Que vegetable village, this place offers an ideal balance of tranquility and convenience. The spacious room quickly became my sanctuary. The comfortable workstation and reliable Wi-Fi made remote work a breeze, while the smart TV was perfect for unwinding after busy days. The mini-fridge and kettle were godsends for late-night snacks and early morning coffees. And that bathtub? Pure bliss for relaxing soaks! What really sets Lasanta Villa apart for extended stays are the thoughtful amenities. The free DIY laundry facility saved me time and money. The filtered water dispenser meant I never had to worry about buying bottled water. The lift made moving luggage and groceries a breeze. The location is unbeatable. Just 1km from An Bang Beach and 2.5km from the Old Town, I had easy access to both without the constant tourist bustle. The free bicycles were perfect for daily exploration, and when I wanted to venture further, Phuong helped arrange scooter rentals. The rooftop terrace became my favorite spot - perfect for yoga, working, or simply enjoying the stunning views of rice paddies and Ba Na Hills. The pool was a refreshing retreat on hot days. Phuong and her family are exceptional hosts. They strike the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive - crucial for long-term guests. They were always ready with local tips, from the best Cao Lau spots to hidden beaches. For digital nomads, the fast Wi-Fi and comfortable work setup are crucial. I never had issues with video calls or large file uploads. And being able to order in via Grab when deadlines loomed was super convenient. By the end of my stay, Lasanta Villa felt like home, and Hoi An had stolen my heart. If you're looking for a long-term stay that offers comfort, convenience, and a true taste of local life, Lasanta Villa is the place. I'm already planning my return!

Best homestay in Hoi An! Clean, modern, fast and reliable wifi, washer and dryer available. Rooftop terrace with beautiful views. Peaceful, quiet and a great location - close to the beach and minutes from old town. Hosts are gracious and helpful - can book tours and motorbike rentals for you. Simply the best.
Chris S — Google review
As a solo female traveler from a Nordic country who works/studies at the same time, I can’t recommend Lasanta Villa highly enough for long or short stays! I extended my stay from 1 month to 3 months, I had a room with the view. I’ve lived in many places in Vietnam and Europe - this place has easily been the best place to stay. This Villa has 6 rooms (+ the family’s room), a rooftop terrace, a kitchen that guests can use, a laundry room, swimming pool, a garden. Filtered, clean drinking water is included. Photos of the Villa are very accurate, the views are amazing. Villa with an atmosphere of homestay: Family running this place is beyond lovely – they are extremely friendly, want you to enjoy your stay as it is like your home and will help you out with anything. The happiest host was born and raised in Hoi An and the loveliest hostess was born in bit northern – they have both travelled in Vietnam, they will share you the best tips and about the culture. During my stay, I felt like home. Do you like late nights in Hoi An? No worries, the family is not uptight at all. Do you like own peace and working alone? No worries, the family will double-check that you have not forgotten to eat during the day. Cleanliness: The Villa is very clean, and the room is spotless!  On my first evenings in new accommodations, I usually test the toilet seat with disinfectant and cotton pad. The pad was not even yellowish, it came out completely white. The room is cleaned regularly (and properly!) and upon request if you wish. Laundry and tumble dryer are quick to use and always available anytime. Workspace: Each room has its own router. All the rooms have good desks and chairs for working. When I explained about my internet needs, the family even updated my room’s router and internet connection. I have been able to smoothly run interviews and record/save interviews without any lags. During my stay, there were other long-stay guests working online as well – some of them were staying in smaller rooms and working in co-workers’ spaces in Hoi An. I enjoy my own peace, hence my own bigger room with the view has been perfect. I appreciated the strong aircon in my room under the heat of Hoi An. Location and services around: Villa is in peaceful Tra Que Village – close to the beach, the Old Town, gyms, yoga places, etc. Grab is cheap to take, you can rent a scooter (family can help with that, no half-broken scooters) or use a bicycle (free). There are also beautiful coffee places and restaurants that use vegetables from the village. I usually enjoy my lunch somewhere nearby before continuing with my laptop. This place will make your Hoi An experience unique!

I've now been to Vietnam for two and a half months and this was by far the best stay l've had. Such a lovely family. We didn't feel like staying in a hotel but staying with friends. The location is great. It is just 10 minutes by bike to the beach and 15 minutes by bike to the ancient town. The roof top terrace is wonderful.

Such a beautiful, clean place to stay! Perfect location (5 minutes from the door to the beach by bicycle -which by the way they give you for free-). I booked just a few nights in this place just in case, but once I arrived there I felt in love and decided to stay the whole 12 days of my trip! I was pleasantly surprise with the room: big, clean, huge bathtub, a kettle to make your own tea or coffee, a desk to work, huge and comfy bed and, of course, the amazing view to the vegetable gardens of Tra Que!! Also, the hosts are super friendly and helpful, a family of three with a cute happy little daughter, always making you feel like home. They even invited me to dinner one night with them and prepared me a nice tradicional Vietnamese meal, what a treat! I highly recommend it :)

I was really torn about this place, but I think overall I would still recommend (especially to people who speak Vietnamese). First, the good: The prices here were good for the rooms offered. Everything in the room worked as advertised and the quality of the linens were good. There was a little patio area outside each room to enjoy the views. And the location, though a bit far removed from downtown Hoi An, ensured a quiet and relaxing stay with only a 15 minute walk to the downtown area. However this homestay was not without issues. The biggest issues were there not being a receptionist and the lack of English spoken by the staff. Apparently the one staff member who was the receptionist had medical issues while we were staying there, so this might not normally have been an issue. But it was difficult getting in contact with someone when needed. There was always someone else on site, but that person didn't speak a word of English. Another perhaps temporary inconvenience about this hotel was the construction going on in the area at the time. It wasn't enough to wake someone up in the morning or prevent them from getting to sleep, but the street was all dirty and torn up, and the entrance to the hotel was either climbing up a large step or walking along a narrow, unstable metal ramp from the street. Presumably when construction is finished this will no longer be an issue, but it wasn't ideal. Lastly, there was a slight lack of attention to detail with this hotel. My friend's room didn't have a door key, no matter how hard the staff tried to find one. He didn't have anything of value left behind in the room, but room keys are an absolute must. The rooms also weren't stocked with toilet paper, and water wasn't provided after the first day. Moreover, the checkout process was very lax (possibly due to the lack of receptionist), consisting of just leaving the key and keycard somewhere in the room. That said, I feel that many of the issues with this place were just temporary circumstances outside of the hotel's control. If those issues cease to exist, and a little more attention is given to the details I mentioned earlier, this place would be a lovely place to stay at a good value

Good: The location and price are excellent, however I feel it appropriate to give an honest and transparent review outlining some details that I wish I had known beforehand, so that future guests can make an informed decision and so that management can make some constructive changes to improve guest experience. Bad: * The hotel felt "unfinished" in that wires were coming out the walls and it lacked unity and consistency between rooms. *The main issue here was that the hotel room doors didn't lock as no key was provided. This has been mentioned in other guests' comments now that I have had a look. As a solo female traveler, it is paramount to safety that I am able to lock my hotel room door. After decades of global travel I have never encountered this before. It took nearly 2 hours to change rooms to a room which had a key. I questioned why some rooms had keys and some didn't, and why the (only) member of hotel staff was reluctant to provide me with a room and door that locked. (It seems a very simple request when paying for a room that myself and my belongings would be secure). * Mosquitoes. The building is overrun by mosquitos both in the rooms and common areas, including reception and staircases. I came away with over 30 mosquito bites, it was unavoidable. This could be dealt with with a fumigation or mosquito deterrent sprays or incense provided. * No hot water - I had no hot water for the whole duration of my stay. I stayed on a particularly cold week and this made the water even colder. I was unable to have a decent shower the whole time I was there. Another basic aspect. I also never received any towels during my stay. * WiFi - the WiFi is not stable, kept going in and out with signal dropping, however, it was functional for basic tasks, difficult to stream. * Cleanliness. My room had not been cleaned prior to arrival. Somebody else's belongings and trash were left in the bathroom, hairs on floor and bed, generally needed to be cleaned. This appeared to be theme throughoit certain parts of the building. There was also no cleaning or linen changes for the duration of my stay. I also wasn't provided with any towels at all, and I couldn't find any in the hotel when I went to look. This isn't helped by the fact that I only saw one staff member who was only occasionally on-site. * The property had signs of damp and mold both on the ceilings, walls, and fabrics. This review is intended to provide honest, transparent, and constructive feedback. The hotel has a lot of potential and with a bit of TLC and some positive changes I think it could be restored to its former glory.

Allegro Hoi An - A Little Luxury Hotel & Spa is a contemporary resort located in the heart of Hoi An, offering a luxurious and convenient stay for travelers. The hotel features well-designed suites with elegant carved-wood accents, along with top-notch amenities such as a spa, fitness center, and 24-hour concierge service. Guests can also take advantage of the year-round outdoor pool and complimentary bicycle usage to explore nearby attractions like the Japanese Covered Bridge and Night Market.
Stayed here as a family with an almost 2 year old. Very family friendly hotel, despite it being luxurious. Proper wooden cot with mattress rather than a rickety travel cot. Our room was very spacious and clean. Pool had a shallow section which was toddler friendly. The staff were so kind and attentive, especially towards our little boy, they all went the extra mile to make him smile. Hotel is in a great location. Also, breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and the food was delicious. I had a massage at the spa which was great.

This hotel was recommended to me by my cousin who had stayed there before. Absolutely perfect. The decor and room size and ammenities were charming. Located walking distance to all the action of the town centre, but removed enough to feel peaceful. 😌 Lovely large pool and spa treatments available. Breakfast offered a good selection and was fresh and tasty. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and so helpful. I would particularly like to mention Sophie, Nancy and Min who had excellent English and were very engaging and beautiful to us. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel located in a more quiet backstreet about a 10 minute walk to the Oldtown. Upon arrival we were very warmly received, directed to the lounge area and given a lovely cool drink. We were then guided, by lovely Hilary, through all the important information about the hotel and even given some great tips about the best food spots and attractions in the town. The hotel itself has a lovely charming vibe with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room, on the 5th floor was very spacious and even had a private balcony overlooking the town. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a huge selection of both western and Asian options. The salads, warm foods and sweets are different everyday, so you will never get bored. Room service food is quite good and reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend Allegro and will most certainly consider returning in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Allegro Hoi An. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The facilities were excellent. The rooms were clean, and comfortable with a full shower and bath tub in the bathroom. The restaurant were amazing with the buffet breakfast having everything you could possibly want. The location was also very convenient for exploring the city and only a 5-7 minute walk to the Old Town, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and attractions. We were here for the Mid Autumn Festival and the Old Town Quarter was amazing with the city buzzing and lanterns along the river. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An and would happily stay again.

Awesome hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast buffet changed everyday so we ate a good variety of food. Much better than the larger hotels. Room was comfortable and spacious and nicely decorated, big bathroom. Good verandah with a view. Great, big swimming pool and lots of lounges and towels. 2 min walk to shops so great location. Free shuttle to and from beach, if weather was better we could have used free beach lounge and umbrella.

Staying at Allegro Hotel Hoi An was an absolute highlight of my trip. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed in a blend of traditional Vietnamese charm and modern comfort, and kept spotlessly clean. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the little touches — from fresh fruit to thoughtful amenities — make it feel like a true boutique experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk or bicycle ride from Hoi An Ancient Town, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The complimentary bicycles are a great bonus for exploring the town and nearby rice fields. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both local specialties and international dishes, all fresh and flavorful. The pool area is also a lovely spot to unwind after sightseeing. Overall, Allegro Hotel combines charm, comfort, and outstanding hospitality — a true gem in Hoi An. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful town.

This is a great resort only a short 5 walk from the Old Town. We stayed recently with a group and the attention and care from all the staff was outstanding. Min and Nancy could not do enough for us and made our stay in absolute joy. Their recommendations for local dishes, (Banh Mi, Cao Lau, Ban Bao Lac and Mi Quang) in the local out of the way (off the tourist path) were excellent. The standard of the rooms, the pool and of course the cocktails were all very good. The arrival decoration of the room was something to behold. The welcome “cake” and fruits were an flavoursome addition, particularly on a travel day. We don't understand why more guests were not participating in the “happy hours” in the bar every night (we did!), a perfect way to start a lovely walk to one of the many recommended restaurants. The morning breakfast buffet was always extensive and a treat. We were so well looked after by Lavie and it meant our day always got off to a good start whether we would be lazing around or rushing off to one of the many tours, cooking classes or other interesting activities that Hoi An has to offer. Certainly, worth mentioning was that when we did rush off on tours with an early start, Lavie and her staff would prepare breakfast boxes for us to take with us- thank-you so much. This is something not to underestimate as some of the tours went for a long time and there may not be the opportunity to stop for somewhere (decent) for something to eat. Our only problem is …when are we get back to stay again?!

Immerse yourself in the area's rich history as a trading port while enjoying modern amenities such as dining options, a spa, and a pool.
What a beautiful 5 star hotel experience. You pay a bit more by Vietnamese standards but it is worth it. Rooms were super comfy, great air con, delicious breakfast, the pool was 5 stars. We enjoyed a barbecue lunch by the pool along with a mojito. Extremely friendly staff and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. ❤️

This is the place to be if you want luxury. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The grounds were impeccably maintained. It is perfectly located right on the river with a very short walk to visit all of the streets and shops etc. But what really made our stay so enjoyable were the staff. They were always professional, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Recommend this place very highly.

Its all in the details. And the details are clearly five stars. Motion sensors for nightlights in the toilet for example. Turndown service with hand written notes on a fresh leaf. I could go on. The rooms are not super big but very cleverly designed. Maybe a decent movie channel on the TV could be added. All the staff, from reception, breakfast, pool, tailors, service etc are all top level. Breakfast also not the largest but everything is top notch, I can recommend the almond croissants and strawberry yoghurt. Its one of those places were you get what you pay for in a good way. And absolutely perfect location. Everything is nearby.

If you want to experience luxury, Vietnam style, this is the resort you need to experience. From the greeting at arrival, to the presentation of the room and facilities, to the dining experience and service, this resort is amazing. About a 12 minute walk to the heart of “old town” and all of its attractions, the location is nestled next to the river with views of all the decorative lighted riverboats and the path that runs beside it with bicycles and scooters strolling by. My girlfriend and I loved every minute staying here. The gym is top notch as well. If searching for a luxurious spot to experience Hoi An, this it it

I recently stayed at Anantara Hoi An Resort and unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming. While the hotel’s location is undeniably excellent — just a short walk from the Old Town and the riverside walking streets — the overall quality of the stay did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price and the hotel’s reputation. First of all, the room I stayed in looked significantly different from the photos shown on the website. The images online created the impression of a bright, luxurious, and spacious room, but in reality, the furnishings were dated, the space felt cramped, and there was a noticeable musty smell in the room. It was not the comfortable or elegant atmosphere I had hoped for. The breakfast buffet was another disappointment. The selection was very limited, and the quality of the food was average at best. For a hotel in this category, I expected a more diverse and fresh spread, especially considering the rich culinary culture of Hội An. Staff interaction was also lacking. While no one was outright rude, I found the service to be passive and unengaged. At times when assistance was clearly needed, the staff did not take initiative to offer help, which left a cold impression. Frankly, I would rate the room and service quality below 3 stars, and I believe this explains why the hotel seemed rather empty during my stay. That being said, its convenient location is a major plus, and for that reason alone, I’m giving this hotel 3 stars.

Our experience at Anantara Da Nang was extremely disappointing, especially given the brand’s reputation. When we arrived, the road to the resort was flooded knee high with sewage, trash, and debris, creating a serious health and safety hazard. The front desk staff assured us (me and our travel agent) we would receive a refund, acknowledging the unsafe conditions. However, hotel management has since been unresponsive and refused to honor that promise, despite multiple follow-ups by us and our travel agent. It’s unacceptable for a luxury property to expect guests to wade through contaminated floodwater instead of prioritizing their safety and well-being. We’ve posted a video showing the floods and you can see the sewage floating. Happy for Anatara management to reach out to me as I am a truly disappointed customer and will not stay at Anatara properties or recommend to anyone given the experience.

Anantara Hoi An is amazing! The property is gorgeous and so calm, even though it’s right in the middle of the city. Honestly, such a perfect spot to relax and still be close to everything!

New and perfect hotel to spend with the family very close to the old town, about 15 minutes walk. The rooms are very clean and modern and the breakfast is very good. They have a pool to cool off after a hot day. They have free bikes to lend you and in about 15 minutes you are at the beach. The treatment is incredible. It is a young hotel that newly ready for operation. It impresses me with enjoyable stay experience. They provide us clean, hygiene & spacious room, hardly to find yellowish mark or hair on the bed. The captain manager will greet us during breakfast time, check if we have good rest and ask us if there are more improvement that they should go for. We hardly find more reasons for them to enhance. The hotel provides great choices of breakfast that suitable for international travelers. There are significant number of travelers coming from western countries are choosing this hotel too.

We had a lovely stay at Delicacy Hotel. It’s a new and beautifully designed hotel with elegant rooms, the ones facing the pool are especially nice. The interior decor is tasteful and gives the whole place a fresh and relaxing vibe. The restaurant is also quite good, although a bit pricey compared to local options in town. Keep in mind that there’s a 15% VAT and service fee added to food, drinks, and other services, so the final bill can be higher than expected. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. I also visited the spa for a full body massage, which was amazing and very relaxing. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Old Town, making it easy to explore without needing transport. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, good service, and a touch of luxury close to everything.

I love mornings in the hotel where I take their free bike and cycle around the old town before getting breakfast in the garden. Recommended!

This is THE place to stay in Hoi An. A beautiful French colonial building in Ancient Town. Lovely big rooms, great shower. Delicious buffet breakfast that caters to many different tastes: congee, white bread for the toaster, fried noodles with vegetables, watermelon juice, coffee, cheese and meats, etc. Free bikes and umbrellas. A pool. The staff will take care of you however they can: need a map? directions? a Grab called? where to get a manicure? certain kind of restaurant?, etc. Friendly and gracious.

We really liked the classic feel of the hotel. It was close enough to walk everywhere with the kids, which made things easy. The beds were comfortable, and our room was nice and quiet. They also have bikes you can borrow for free, so we rode to the beach. The ride was simple—mostly on the road, then a paved path through some rice fields.

We had a fantastic stay at the Central hotel, and were absolutely blown away by the level service provided by the staff. We had a bit of a mix-up when booking on Agoda and our reservation ended up split across two rooms, so we showed up hoping they might be able to adjust it to let us stay in the same room for our entire stay. But by the time we arrived they had already figured out what must have happened and offered us a free room upgrade to the executive king room for our entire stay. We loved the room and its little balcony so much—it was the most beautiful and elegant place we’ve stayed in a month of travel throughout Vietnam. But the real standout of this hotel, as so many others have noted, is the staff. Everyone we met was unbelievably welcoming and even remembered our names on sight, but I have to give a special shout out to Rossie who went way out of her way to help us with everything we needed, and always with a huge smile. When we wanted to book a car to drive south to visit some old tunnels from the war, she even came in from home early to help make the arrangements for us since we had talked about the details with her the previous day. The one and only thing she wasn’t able to help us with was extending our stay when we decided too late that we loved the hotel enough that we wanted to stick around another few days—but by then they were already fully booked up. Don’t make our mistake! Highly recommend this hotel, we’d absolutely stay here again!

Outstanding hotel. All the staff are amazing, kind and helpful. They were able to assist me with all my needs and inquiries without any form of hesitation. On top of that, they are able to cater to my dietary restrictions with ease. Overall, every staff have been lovely and they ensure that I was look after during my tenure.

We only stayed one night at Hoi An Central Hotel, but it was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. As soon as we arrived, we were given welcome drinks and checked in super fast. The staff, especially the receptionist, were so friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and comfy, and the free breakfast the next morning had a ton of great options. Our kids absolutely loved the swimming pool — it was clean, relaxing, and perfect after a hot day. Even though we weren’t there long, the service really stood out. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We’re already talking about coming back the next time we visit Hoi An. Thanks again to the amazing team for making our short stay feel so special!

The staff are amazing and helped us out hugely. Got great advice on some tailored clothes, awesome coffee and tasty eats. The staff are brilliant, the old building is beautiful and the location in the heart of the old town is perfect. Just a chilled place to rest and relax in the centre of old town. Highly recommend

The hotel boasts eco-friendly design by Vo Trong Nghia, featuring greenery-covered sandstone for natural ventilation. Guests can indulge in onsite spa treatments, relax by the outdoor pools, or work out at the fitness center.
Amazing stay at Mulberry Collection Silk Village. We spent three super peaceful nights, with no noise at all. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, definitely one of the best we’ve had. We loved the two pools, especially the quiet one right in front of our room. Afternoon tea by the pool was such a nice surprise. The gym is great, the happy hour deals are really worth it, and the hotel is overall very well-equipped. The extra bonus: there’s a real silk factory inside the hotel you can visit, which makes the experience truly special.

I recently spent nine nights at this hotel, and it was wonderful. The hotel is peaceful, with beautiful gardens, two fresh water pools, two restaurants and great food. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and a special thanks to Hoa on reception who went out of her way to make me feel welcome and provide recommendations and assistance. The shuttle bus to the Old Town and the beach made getting around very easy. I highly recommend the hotel.

Our stay at Mulberry Collection Silk Village was absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond: always available, genuinely kind, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire visit. The resort itself felt like a charming micro-village. It’s spacious and beautifully designed, offering everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay: a large pool, a great restaurant and bar, a fully equipped gym, and even a silk-making workshop that adds a unique cultural touch. Our room was exceptionally spacious, well-equipped, and perfectly maintained, ideal for both relaxation and comfort. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t recommend this place highly enough. A true gem in Hoi An.

Perfect hotel for our family with two teens. Peaceful jungle village feel. No issues with the tons, spacious, good AC, near the pool, clean. Free shuttle to town and their free beach lido (worth a visit for the swim up bar!)

Hotel is in the ancient town and it is very conveniently located near the shopping streets where you also have good restaurants & massage spa. The night market at the new town is just opposite the ancient town separated by a river. Highly recommended!

Don’t hesitate to book your stay in Hoi An here. Whilst not directly in town, it’s only a short (free) shuttle ride or grab away. The grounds here are so tranquil and you can’t hear the bustling of the world outside! We initially booked for 3 nights, but after busy days out and about, we wanted to extend our stay to recharge and take some downtime in this peaceful setting. We stayed 7 nights all up! Staff have been friendly and happy to help, restaurants on site have delicious meals and a good selection of wines and other beverages. Breakfast is amazing with a great variety of options. Spa/massage services onsite also great. Comfy beds and spacious rooms, we stayed in a villa/balcony room. There is a good laundry service directly across from hotel charging 40k dong per kilo. All in all would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again on our next trip to Hoi An. Has been the highlight of our Vietnam trip so far!

ZEN Retreat Hoi An is an unassuming waterfront hotel nestled in the serene waterways of Hoi An, surrounded by lush coconut palms. The villas offer a tranquil escape for eco-tourists, with a picturesque pool overlooking the river and a soothing atmosphere throughout the grounds. Guests can partake in guided basket boat tours or take a leisurely bike ride to nearby Cua Dai or An Bang beaches.
I stayed here for 5 nights during my month-long trip to Hoi An, and looking back, I wish I had spent the entire month here. It’s a little paradise tucked away in a quiet area. All three reception staff members were absolutely lovely, and the restaurant staff were incredibly kind and attentive as well. The room was spacious, bright, and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated that they provided drinking water in glass bottle instead of plastic one. Breakfast was a semi-buffet with bread, fruit, juice, and coffee, along with à la carte options. I especially loved that they served at least five kinds of fruit every day. It would be perfect if there were more vegetarian options on the menu. The pool was small but pleasant (although the pool walls needed a sort of deep cleaning), and the garden had plenty of peaceful spots to sit and relax, which we really enjoyed. We stayed on the second floor, and the shower door didn’t close completely, so some water leaked out. It would be great if that could be improved. The bottom line is—we had a truly wonderful stay here.

The place has such a calm and peaceful vibe — it really lives up to its name. The rooms are clean and cozy, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you forget you’re just a few minutes from the old town. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything, from bike rentals to local food tips. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day exploring Hoi An. If you’re looking for a quiet hideaway with a touch of local charm, ZEN Retreat is a great choice.

It’s a truly relaxing and beautiful designed space. I liked that it was in nature and there were many places to chill and enjoy tranquility. Topic of improvements are breakfast (good but limited) and while staff was always helpful and friendly a little training would make the difference (eg would be nice if breakfast table is prepared and you don’t sit at an empty table and need to ask if you can have breakfast). Also due to bad weather/flooding we had to leave earlier but there was no refund offered unfortunately.

Everything was just perfect!
This hotel is a true hidden gem, beautifully designed, calm and relaxing, with a large peaceful garden. The atmosphere is absolutely serene, surrounded by lush greenery, blooming flowers, and a small lake with lotus blossoms. Our room was spacious and very cozy. A special thanks to the team for beautifully for decorating the room for my friend’s birthday - that was very kind of you. The bathtub is huge, and the hot water worked perfectly. Breakfast included a small buffet and a few freshly prepared dishes to choose from - like soup, noodles, rice, eggs, etc. Yoga sessions are also offered. A big thank you to the amazing reception team and the whole hotel team - everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and recharge in a beautiful natural setting!

Thank you very much to Zen Retreat team for their warm hospitality. We had a such a wonderful time here. Peaceful place just at the outskirts of the buzz of Hoi An City. Fresh and tasty local food. Great Spa room in the middle of the Lotus Pond. We are happy to recommend this hotel to the travelers.

Came for 2 nights, stayed for 6. Really relaxing and a great setting. The gardeners were working hard all week and it showed. Nice people and great to have bikes and moped available to use. Also in walking distance of great restaurants with local (windy coffee and restaurant) and more European options (tok). Hope to return.

That was a fabulous place to stay. The common area is great, many hammocks, enough sunbeds, good pool. The gym area is nice, I liked the bicycle and that they had yoga mats, though a treadmill machine lane is a bit broken (but still functioning) Rooms are spacious and clean as well as ACs inside. Breakfasts were great (a good variety of fruits and veggies), though we felt like a la carte dishes could be better. The staff is welcoming and very friendly :) I definitely recommend to stay here

We had an incredible stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. I suffered an eye injury during our visit, and they checked in on me multiple times, offering any assistance I might need. We were also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which was very generous of the staff. The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful area yet just a short distance from the vibrant Hoi An city center. Additionally, the shuttle bus service was very convenient. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Eco Lodge and Spa in Hoi An! The breakfast was delicious and the pool was stunning, a real oasis. The rooms were spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also treated ourselves to a spa day and the massages were truly amazing - highly recommended! The location is perfect, close to the historic center but in a peaceful and green area. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, Eco Lodge and Spa is an excellent choice.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights and enjoyed every moment. This was absolutely one of the best values for money we've gotten! The breakfast was good, the laundry service was fast, fairly priced, and the clothes came back smelling great. We also had a hot stone massage which was simply wonderful and high-quality. Above all, the staff was amazing – everyone was so friendly, always eager to help, and gave us excellent recommendations. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and sometimes we just stayed in to enjoy the pool and the snooker table. The cocktails at Happy Hour were fun, too. We came for our honeymoon, and they made it extra special by beautifully decorating our room. They also gave us a free upgrade to a nicer room, which was possible because we were visiting during the off-season. This really made our experience perfect. Just a heads-up: There is no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, it's worth requesting a ground-floor room. That being said, the wonderful staff immediately helped us with our luggage upstairs and also offered to help bring it down as well.

Wow – what an incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth by Lien at reception, who made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect visit. She even upgraded us to a Club Suite, which was such a wonderful surprise! The room was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the pool and lake. It was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. We often had the pool all to ourselves pure bliss. There are two pools, one in the main resort area with a bar and pool table and a more private pool for suite guests both were absolutely stunning. We also loved the added extras the resort offers free bikes, which we used to ride to the beach (about 15 minutes away), and a complimentary shuttle service into town, which takes around 10 minutes. Super convenient! Room service was delicious, and breakfast each morning was a highlight. We truly felt like we were in heaven. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we even changed our flights to stay another night! We honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to return!

Overall I thought it was a nice hotel to book while on discount, but there are some pros and cons... We were allocated a room on the ground floor, which was really dark and nothing like the pictured rooms online, which only show rooms on upper floor. When we asked about this, they mentioned that we didn't specify in the booking so how should they know. They did offer an upper room but for the next day. While the staff are LOVELY, we were not introduced to all the facilities. Like genuinely were not told about a second pool, gym etc. which we only learned about after our stay. We stayed two nights during low-ish season (October) so the hotel was quiet and yet still felt like we were competing for sun loungers. When all of the shaded loungers were occupied (about 10), the pool felt crowded. The breakfast was just ok, could have more fruits and offer fresh coffee. While cosy, I though the pool area was stunning. Surrounded by lush plantation and frangipani trees. The free shuttle to and from town and the beach was awesome too. There are several set times per day that are adequate for a sightseeing schedule.

The best hotel i have stayed in in Vietnam. Good food, clean, spacious rooms, and excellent service. The hotel is a five minute bike ride away from the center, which means it is super quiet and peaceful. They also have a daily shuttle service to and from the center and other places nearby like the beach. Nguyet helped me make the most of my stay in Hoi An. Will stay here again!
Mandy M — Google review
Not really a resort as you would expect in the US. But most Vietnam resorts unless built in the last few years, are more like expensive Hotel rooms. Now considering the exchange rate, it's still cheap and so complaining about the cost would not be fair. So let's looks at it from the physical side. Staff are nice and we're able to help with a change in the reservations due to a pesky relative changing things last minute. The pool is small so your not doing laps. Just chilling. Has a small bar and pool table till 10pm. Not much else going on. More place to sleep. Rooms are standard setup. Annoyingly, like most places, when you arrive the room is warm and so is the mini fridge because the key is used to activate power. Here the key card uses a chip so you can't bypass it with a business card like other places.

Nghê Prana Hotel is such a wonderful place to stay — I absolutely loved my time here! The hotel has great facilities, including a clean and relaxing swimming pool, and a full breakfast spread that gives you a perfect start to the day. One of the best parts is that they offer free bicycles for guests, which makes it super easy to explore the area at your own pace. The view from the hotel is also stunning — you can watch the sunset over the river right in front of the property, which feels peaceful and magical. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! From the quality of the service to the comfort of the hotel itself, everything was excellent. Our stay at this hotel was simply amazing. We initially booked for two nights but ended up adding a third because we felt so comfortable. A huge thank you to Katy for her warm and thoughtful welcome. Although it’s not right in the city center, the hotel offers free transportation to the Old Town, which is super convenient. And if you have a scooter, the location is perfect. We absolutely loved our stay here, everything was truly wonderful. We chose the hotel as we knew it would be quiet just what we needed having been travelling around Vietnam. We were welcomed by the very wonderful Katie and Hannah who throughout our stay checked in on us and made sure everything was ok. The room was large, clean and had everything we needed. The air con worked well and we had a lovely view of the river. WiFi also good. The breakfast was fabulous, and we also enjoyed lunch, dinner and drnks. Food was plentiful and tasty. The hotel is only a short ride to the old town and beach, the free shuttle is very handy to use, or grab is very inexpensive. We made use of the pool and enjoyed watching the fishing boats and sunsets. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and were all happy going about their business. We have told many friends and family about our stay here as we enjoyed it so much, we are definitely going to return and would highly recommend.

A very memorable 30-day stay here in Hoi An with the most relaxing view I’ve seen in a Hotel. Sunset here is breathtaking with direct view of the Thu Bon River. Occasionally, you’d catch a fisherman casually rowing past on the boat. It makes you wonder how little you need to have a wonderful morning. The rooms are very clean, classy and designed with a traditional yet luxurious vibe (each day 4 housekeeping staff would clean the room thoroughly, whether or not it’s been used much the previous day) The hotel has some of the most comfortable bedding I have experienced as I don’t remember Four Seasons providing Mattress Toppers to provide that extra back support for your sleep. Clearly, Nghe Prana cares, and you can feel that they care through the details you experience. The value for money is quite disproportionate in my favor. The first week here I was sick with a flu. Traveling solo, my best option was to reach out to the Hotel’s staff for help. Hana immediately responded to my midnight emergency and gave me flu medicine with sea salt and advised me to gargle down my sore throat. If you’re looking for a place to really take a deep breath and relax, and perhaps finally enjoy a full night of sleep, come here.

I stayed here for two days and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a beautiful view of the lake, and the location is close to Hoi An Old Town. Facilities and services were good, and the stay was comfortable. However, the main drawback is that the hotel does not have four-wheeler access. For pick-up and drop-off, vehicles stop at the main road and you need to walk about 150 meters by steps to reach the hotel. Also, the breakfast spread had limited vegetarian options. Other than these points, everything else was good and I enjoyed my stay.

Inspirational place! We were so grateful to experience Vietnamese life on Cam Nam Island. The hotel is just off the main street of a village with a fresh market in the morning, a nearby fishing pier, and local cafes and restaurants. Of course, our goal was to visit the famous Hoi An Ancient Town (a 15-minute bike ride away), but it often became crowded with tourists and noisy at night, so we were happy to balance it out with a more authentic experience at the hotel. Great pool, especially at sunset.

The location is a bit far from old city and beach, the hotel provide shuttle in the morning and afternoon to go there. Also provide bike and motobike if needed.

Got the junior room, nice and spacious for two. The staff is incredibly nice and proactive, they help with everything including ideas for your days. They don’t overcharge for outside bookings like cars, tickets, etc - actually lower or about the same which is so nice and makes things super smooth and easy. Their driver is fantastic too. They even offered to pack us breakfast for our early departures. Honestly can’t believe how easy they made our unplanned trip.

The service is a standout at at Hoi A Riverside hotels. The staff are lovely and very accomodating - we were upgraded to a larger room on arrival and the room was absolutely huge. Everything was clean and the massages at the spa were the best we have had in Vietnam. Only areas for improvement would be the breakfast buffet and the location is a little further out so while we were happy to walk 25 minutes into town, this may not be achievable for everyone. Taxis and grabs are readily available for transport

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at ease — as though we were arriving home. The owner took a hands-on role and was incredibly supportive. Even though check-in was officially at 2 pm, our flight was rescheduled and we arrived around 10 am. Despite not being obliged to, the team allowed us to use a temporary room to freshen up — such a generous gesture. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of vegetarian options. On the day of our early departure, the team not only arranged our airport transfer at a rate better than Grab, but also packed us breakfast without us even asking. That speaks volumes. I highly recommend staying here.

Hoi An Four Seasons Villa is a luxurious retreat located north of Hoi An, with a design inspired by the grandeur of Emperor Tu Duc's 19th-century imperial dynasty. The location, rooms and facilities were all amazing. The view over the rice paddies is breathtaking while you take a relaxing dip at the lovely swimming pool. But above all the friendly staff is what makes the difference. Special thanks to Lien for being extremely accommodating and helpful with us from day one till the end. She is a good English speaker too which is not always easy to come across and this helps when dealing with tourists!

Peaceful stay in the middle of the rice fields. I spent one night at Hoi An Four Seasons Villa and really enjoyed the quiet location. The room was clean and cozy, and the pool area is a highlight — private, relaxing, with a view over the rice paddies. They don’t have a full restaurant, just a small breakfast, which I didn’t try as I preferred to eat out. The host was warm, helpful, and spoke good English, which made things easy. Lovely little Hotel in private Hands. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast specially prepared on personal request. Affordable beverages cooled in a fridge. Garden is illuminated at night. Poolside is awesome - our children loved it. Nice landscape view from the pool to a large rice field. 20min walk to the old town of Hoi An which is one of the most beautiful old towns we have seen in Asia! Definitely a recommendation if you are around!

The location was excellent, but unfortunately, the front desk experience was very disappointing. The chubby woman at reception was consistently rude and unhelpful. During check-in, she made no effort to assist us and even seemed to try to skip the welcome drink and welcome fruit that were supposed to be included. At check-out, she was reluctant to help with our luggage and acted as though everything was a bother. Her attitude left a very negative impression and really brought down the overall experience.

This villa is located in the middle of the peaceful beautiful paddy fields, you can even walk along the small narrow paths between the fields to fly a kite or basically enjoy the authentic Vietnamese scenery My family paid a visit 3 years ago, and to be honest, we thought the interiors would be a bit old when we were considering which one to book for our trip. Surprisingly, everything is perfect with high quality furniture: 43-inch TV, clean swimming pool, comfortable beds... The hosts are super friendly, they welcomed us and always ready to support us during our trip.

This is a beautiful, quiet, special hideaway spot that's perfect for wanting to unwind. The people are extremely nice and accommodating, and you will be treated very well here. When I first came in, I was exhausted from my flight and a bit nauseous from the drive from Da Nang with all the stops and starts and honking. I was greeted with some of the best calming tea and fresh, delicious cut watermelon. There's lot of trips you can arrange, although I can't speak to them because I ended up just relaxing and wandering the city and beach. It's a very great location not too far away from the Old City - just a 20ish minute walk and you can also bike if you like. There isn't a hotel bar, but the refridgerator has fairly priced beer and drinks if you would like that. Seems great for families, too - no loud and young party goers while I was there. The only complaints one could have is yes, there are chickens, but I don't think they are too loud or obstrusive unless you're really sensitive to that sort of thing. The shower was a bit temperamental, and I almost scalded myself a few times, but aren't all of our showers at home like that, too? I would definitely recommend staying at Hoi An Four Seasons Villa for anyone wanting to enjoy and explore Hoi An without too much hustle and bustle.

Hotel uses name of four seasons in bad will. To take away from good will of a famous hotel chain. It is hard to get in and out. There’s a problem with mosquitos and noise. Staff is lazy and not attentive to requests.

Dechiu Hotel is a charming boutique hotel situated in the Cam An district of Hoi An, just a stone's throw away from An Bang Beach. The 3-star hotel offers beautifully designed and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private bathrooms. Guests can also enjoy complimentary bike rentals. The interiors of Dechiu exude style and trendiness, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation.
I had a wonderful 4 days at Dechiu. The attention to detail in this small boutique hotel is exceptional. From the beautiful bed linens, to the ceramics, to the wholesome breakfasts, to the small notes and treats that they leave for you in your room. The decor and interiors are also gorgeous - an incredible combination of earthy and modern. A huge shout out also to the staff for my stay at Dechiu being a standout of my time at Vietnam! A beautiful, calming stay if you're looking to get away from the buzz of the Old Town.

My New Favorite Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To say I loved my stay at Dechiu would be an understatement. This was the highlight of our two-week honeymoon and one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. I’m American, from New York, and my new husband is Greek — we live in Athens — and we spent five unforgettable nights here. The location is stunning, the design is thoughtful and inspiring, and more than anything, the hospitality is unmatched. It’s the perfect place to explore Vietnam while also enjoying a completely relaxed, chilled atmosphere. The breakfast is incredible, but the staff are even more incredible. I’m already telling all my friends about this hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re even thinking about visiting, don’t hesitate — just book it and thank me later. 🫶
Sharn S — Google review
I had a truly unforgettable stay at Dechiu during my trip to Hoi An. From the moment I walked in, it immediately felt like home - the kind of place you wish you could stay forever. Honestly, it’s one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever experienced. The location is perfect: just steps away from the beach, and only a short ride to the Old Town. It’s giving the best of both worlds: the peaceful vibe of the sea, with the lively energy of the town only minutes away. Every corner of Dechiu is filled with charm - the architecture, the interiors, the calming scent, even the thoughtful little notes and treats in the room. You can really feel the heart and soul of the team in every detail; nothing is overlooked, and everything is cared for with such thoughtfulness. Though my stay was short, I did get to enjoy breakfast once, and it was simple but exceptional - fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with attention. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. The staff took care of my friend and me so genuinely that it felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. Big thanks to chú Đỉnh, cô Chi, cô Hiệp, chị Liên, anh Bảo, Mai, Vân, and Cà Rốt for making us feel so welcome. Their warmth and kindness are something I’ll never forget. The name Dechiu comes from the Vietnamese word “Dễ chịu” (I believe), which means “Pleasant”, and this place definitely lives up to its name. If life ever feels too crazy or overwhelming, this is the kind of place where you can slow down, breath, and just feel at ease. Dechiu is more than just a hotel, it’s a home that leaves you longing to return. If you’re planning a visit to Hoi An, I can’t recommend Dechiu enough.
Nhi V — Google review
I truly, truly cannot recommend Dechiu Hotel highly enough. I booked a garden room for 5 nights, I wish I could have stayed forever. There are so many thoughtful touches from the team who go above and beyond daily. Sweet welcome notes, treats, a free mini bar, scent diffusers in the room, delicious breakfasts, these seemingly small additions make a huge impact overall. The room itself was designed beautifully, as is the rest of the hotel. It was comfortable, spacious, clean, and felt safe and secure as a solo female traveller. Everything here feels truly boutique and hand selected, so much energy has been put into creating this space. Location wise, you’re two minutes to the beach, a 10 minute grab into the town, close to food options and coffee shops. This hotel and the kindness of the team there will stay in my mind for a long time, for all of the best reasons.
Maisie M — Google review
I was warmly welcomed by Van and the staff at Dechiu, whose kindness and hospitality truly stood out from day one. Their genuine warmth made this stay unforgettable. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade — the room itself was beautifully designed, blending thoughtful architecture with stylish minimalist decor. Each day, I’d return to little handwritten notes and snacks left in the room, which added a personal and heartfelt touch that made my experience even more special. Though I only managed to have breakfast once due to early starts, it was a delicious local meal clearly prepared with care and attention. The location is ideal — nestled among a stretch of family-run local restaurants offering amazing food. It’s just a short 15-minute walk to the scenic rice paddies and the charming Tra Que Vegetable Village. Getting to the Old Town was also easy with a quick Grab bike ride. This stay was a highlight of my trip — peaceful, beautifully run, and filled with lovely touches that made it feel like home.
VH — Google review
Nothing but great things to say about this hotel, the decor, the staff, the food, everything exceptional. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Hotel - a true boutique hotel with well curated art and decor, beautiful handmade ceramic dinner ware, tranquil music, fish pond, curated scents. Just attention to detail. An absolute oasis compared to anything else we’ve seen in Vietnam where either was boutique meaning simple or luxury meaning over the top trying to be expensive but tacky. Staff - fantastic staff that match the decor and vibe perfectly. Zen, calm, peaceful and caring. Went above and beyond with thoughtful notes, proactive asking if we needed anything and anticipating needs, cute gifts and treats and easy to access anytime with WhatsApp. Food - free breakfast is included and it can’t be missed. All vegetarian options but don’t let that stop you from trying as these were some of the tastiest/cleanest meals we had during our stay. A few courses and just fantastic. Rooms - rooms are well designed and unique with great art, comfy bed, great linens, and cleaned everyday with new towels. The showers and toilets are very standard but work and good products as well. Location - is close to hidden beach, two great coffee bars, a yoga studio, a beautiful walk to A Bang beach (15-20mins on the beach) and a few hostels with some parties if you want to partake.

We had an amazing stay at Dechiu, I could not recommend it higher. The rooms are beautiful, but most importantly the team could not be friendlier and keen to make the stay special, even giving us a special gift after finding out I had a particular interest in pottery (including the tasteful Dechiu pieces). Would very happily go back again

Life Beach Villa is a charming beach hotel located just a minute's walk from An Bang beach in the city of Hoi An. The ten individually decorated rooms offer unique features such as exposed bricks, wicker lampshades, mezzanine sleeping platforms, and bamboo ladders. The hotel boasts a lovely pool area with loungers for relaxation after exploring the town or spending time at the nearby beach.
Love the villa architecture. Definitely, beach house! Well maintained and clean. We had a small issue with the AC and noticed after 23:00. The receptionist and security man had solution to change us for sleeping one night and fix it right away the day after. Friendly and helpful staffs. Love the places that helps the old ladies earn income and trained them for room service well. Very recommend for family having kids on the vacation as it has small pool and very close to the beach. Just 3 minutes walking, having 2 nice beach bars so never bored for staying here for long vacations. Many food options around here.

Wish we had more time here, could easily have stayed longer. loan is such a great host, she and her team are always there to welcome you with a smile. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the 2 story r room which had two large bathrooms. The pool was a great size and always sparkling clean. Breakfast here is excellent and very generous. Awesome iced coffee and fresh juices, very nice noodle soups, pancakes, fresh baguettes with jam or eggs. The location is also perfect, with a 30 second walk to the beach and beach restaurants/bars and 1 minute walk to An Bang's main road where there are heaps restaurants and shops. Would stay here again for sure.

We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect as it's tucked away from the busiest road and right next to the beach. The service was the best we've ever had and the staff went above and over. Luan even took us to a shop to ensure we had nappies for our son and lent some of her son's clothes. She was amazing! Highly recommend the place for the clean and well decorated rooms, the fantastic service and the excellent location.

Believe the hype! Place is fantastic, rooms are great, pool is big and suitable for children, only a few steps from the beach. Luan did everything for us to have a comfy and nice stay, she is great! Will definitely come back again!

Outstanding price for a hotel located so close to the beach. Our room was large and very comfortable. The hotel is located one block away from the local restaurants and stores. The beach is located about a 200 metre walk from hotel. The hotel has a pool. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Hoi An’s Old Town. We didn’t eat breakfast at this hotel, so we can’t review that service. One of the best things about the hotel is that it doesn’t have many rooms, and it makes for a comfortable and quiet experience.

Location is perfect, near the main beach but in quite area! Beautiful rooms and most importantly we had a force majeure situation and we're forces to cancel before initially planned duration, and the owner was very kind to give full refund for the nights that were not used! I definitely reccomend this place, it's a hidden gem in an bang!

We stayed at Life Beach Villa for 4 nights in two double rooms. The hotel is a very lovely, quiet, little place with access to the Shore Beach Club and the beach in a minute walking distance. We absolutely loved the place and Luan (owner/manager) and her staff. Breakfast is also nice and simple, we had it two times here. If we come back to Hoi An, we definitely will be back at Life Beach Villa

Lovely stay and really good value. Location is perfect close to the old town but also far away from the hectic streets. The rooms were spotless and the bed was really comfortable I stayed in both the deluxe and single room. The deluxe with balcony is a really lovely room well worth the extra. The bathroom is perfect and ac and fans work well it was quite hot when I stayed. There is free drinking water too which was great and really appreciated. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially the lady at the desk she was so pleasant. We had an amazing stay here! Our group of seven booked three rooms, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The owners were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with the happiest smiles. They were super organized, providing us with a list of must-visit places and sharing great local recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully arranged each morning. We loved the free cycles—they made it so easy and fun to explore the area. The owners even arranged a cab for us when it was time to head to our next destination. They also offered a convenient laundry service at 30K per kg, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and well-organized stay!

The property's location is ideal—just a short walk from the Ancient Town, which makes it conveniently accessible while still being in a quieter, less tourist-heavy area. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with local eateries, convenience shops, and cozy cafés, making it easy to explore on foot. I appreciated the strategic location, but what really stood out was the hospitality. Mr. Hieu and his team were exceptionally helpful, offering great local insights and personalized recommendations on where to eat and what to see in the area. I was also impressed by their commitment to sustainability. Drinking water is provided in reusable glass bottles, available as needed—a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch. Additionally, I was offered a complimentary bicycle, which allowed me to explore further out, including a lovely ride to An Bang Beach. Overall, a pleasant and well-rounded stay that I’d gladly recommend to others visiting the area. Only setback was the hot water shower wasn’t consistent.

A very welcoming family, and a great place to stay. The location is perfect, just off a main street, and so rooms are quiet. Good value for money and a very good vietnamese breakfast (eggs available if you prefer). I have read a recent one star review and this, in no way, reflected our experience. We loved it so much we stayed 6 nights instead of the original 4 booked. Thankyou Mays House and family

A lovely, well appointed set of cottages in the heart of An Bang. Tinh the manager was helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. She set up a desk and chair so I could work. The location is very close to the main street of An Bang beach township, and only a short walk to the beach. As well as a restaurant on site, there are numerous good eating places on the lane. A++ for a pleasant, clean and aesthetically pleasing budget option in An Bang/Hoi An.

Cashew Tree is tucked away in a quiet alley right in the heart of this small town. We absolutely loved our stay here! Tinh was super friendly and welcomed us with refreshing cold juices as soon as we arrived :) The weather was incredibly hot during our visit, but the location made everything so convenient. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the beach, one of the quieter, more peaceful spots. As soon as you step out of the alley, you’re surrounded by massage parlours and restaurants, making it really easy to explore and enjoy the area. The most beautiful place to stay in one of the most beautiful cities!! I can’t emphasize enough how kind and helpful our host family was. We arrived early and they had no problem with helping us store our bags while we explored the surrounding area until our check-in time. Additionally, they were always there to send us off in the morning or to greet us with a smile when we came home at night. They cleaned our rooms daily - without us needing to ask and at no extra charge! Their breakfast was also so good: you preorder the night before and they cook it right in their own kitchen. I highly recommend the white coffee and the omelette breakfast. The bedroom was so spacious and had more than enough room for all of our luggage (3 checked in bags and many personal items). The beds were also large and super comfortable - so perfect after a day exploring. The bathroom was very clean and offered a handheld bidet. They helped us with tours and even our 5am airport transport! The location is perfect - minutes away from Hoi An ancient town, the famous Nguyen Hoang Street/Hoi An Night Market, the waterfront, and the lantern boats. There’s also a mini mart, spa, and many restaurants right next door. Overall, I cannot recommend this homestay enough. We will be booking this place in a heartbeat on our next trip here!

I loved the pool view from our room, and the huge windows that let natural light inside, it is in a nice and quiet and peaceful location in walking distance from the old city... also there is everything that you need around. They had an amazing service for everything. Breakfast was nice and they prepared it on the spot for you. They can even prepare lunch or dinner for you if you ask and the prices in their restaurant are very reasonable, and the food is really delicious. They also have car service that's even better priced than Grab and takes you to the exact location you request. Everyone working there was so nice and polite and made our short stay a really good and pleasant experience. Also a note you can pay with a card, which was really handy for us... I looked at several hotel is the area, and The Muse House was by far the best for this type of budget. The rooms are large and bright, designed well with good wifi /tv / fridge / coffee making facilities and they all have a balcony looking over the pool (which is a fair size and is surround by sun-loungers). The bathroom / shower are clean, modern and well maintained. The staff are lovely, and although the breakfast is simple, its very well cooked. The reception and restuarant areas are nicely designed, with a small collection of vintage bikes and scooters dotted about. I will definately be returning to this lovely, relaxing little gem.

The staff is very friendly, willing to help, they organize all sorts of day trips, transfers scooter rental, laumdry etc - anything you need they can help with. 15 min walk to Hoi An center so tucked away in a quiet location, excellent for a good night sleep. The hotel and garden are well maintained. Good breakfast. Great value for money. Definitely recommend :) A couple of small nice to haves though: - swimming pool is not filtered so the water is not as clean and clear as you would expect or see in the pics - beds and pillows are a bit hard but no biggie though. - if you return at the hotel after 10pm or so use the ring bell next to the main entrance as the gate is closed and there is no contact phone available displayed.

We were allocated to a second floor room, the room is good with excellent view. However, the day when I checked in, I gave my dirty clothes to a reception guy for laundry, later in the evening, when I came back, I said that I can pay for the laundry right now, at that time the receptionist was a lady, she said you can, and I paid. Unfortunately I didn't ask for a receipt! The day when I checked out, the receptionist lady (Not the same one) asked me to pay for the laundry, I said I already did, you can ask another lady. We’ll definitely book this accommodation again when we go back to Hoi An. Top notch customer service. The room is was very clean. Receptionists are very kind, friendly and attentive. Complete toiletries and has also a free bike for those who want to explore the town. Location is very convenient as it’s just a minute walk from establishments and 3-5 minute walk from the ancient town. I highly recommend!

I had a lovely and peaceful two nights stay here. Ann and her sister are wonderful hosts, plus you can’t forget the two very sweet dogs who were always keen for some strokes. The location is perfect for an early morning going through old town before it really gets heaving. The room I stayed in had a cute balcony too. This is a great spot to base yourself in the heart of Hoi An.
David W — Google review
An the host was fantastic! Always smiling and willing to help with anything. The location is one of the best you can get if you want to be close to the Old City. Through the homestay you can book a variety of activities in which they pick you up from the homestay and drop you back to it, very comfortable. The room was a great value for what we paid, the shower has a glass separator from the rest of the bathroom which is not a default out here in SE Asia and the balcony was also fun. One of us got sick during the stay and the staff was very helpful by directing us to the closest Clinic that is a minute away and even brought extra blankets and tea to the room for us.
Yuval S — Google review
The homestay is very nice and close to the centre either on foot or by bicycle! In a very quiet street where you can't hear any noise. The room also had a small balcony which never hurts to relax a bit. The staff is super nice and like many Vietnamese always ready to give you advice and help you with what you need. As in other places I asked them to keep my suitcase for one night during the excursion and they did it without any problems and without asking me for money and on my return they even allowed me to take a shower. Appreciated and recommended.

I originally booked this homestay in Hoi An for just a couple of days but ended up staying for a whole month. Ann and her sister are both very kind and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It’s just a short walk to the Old Town and about ten minutes to An Bang Beach by bike. They also offer tours and, most importantly for me, airport transport at a great price. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. I would absolutely stay here again!
Markus N — Google review
Truly wonderful Homestay with the lovliest members of staff, from the second we arrived we felt properly looked after! Rooms are spacious and our balcony was perfect. Tucked away from the bustle of Hoi A but right in the centre of the action:) Really would stay here again!

Best homestay in town 💖 I stayed 3 days 2 nights and it was such an amazing stay. They cared a lot for my comfort at the room, recommended good places and made my laundry very well and carefully. They also helped me with transport to the airport. Also, very good location, next to everything but still in a quiet street so the sleep is calm. Such amazing girls and doggies 🐾. Definitely would come back!

If you're looking for a delightful experience, Green Sand Homestay is the perfect choice! This charming homestay offers a warm welcome from its friendly owners, who are always ready with helpful recommendations and assistance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, featuring large windows that provide stunning views. Enjoy breakfast on the top floor while soaking in the scenery—it's truly a treat! Located just a short stroll from the vibrant night market and old town, you'll find yourself surrounded by restaurants and shops.
Was hesitant to stay at a homestay for the first time but this was amazing! The owner and his wife are so kind, they have great recs and called taxis for us when needed. The place is nice and clean. Our room on the 3rd floor had a great view and huge windows. AC and fans in the room were a plus. There is an elevator lift for luggage which was also nice. They serve breakfast on the top floor as well and it was so cute. Location was perfect and central to town, we walked everywhere.

The best accommodation in Hoi An, perfect location, quiet street but close to everything! The rooms were very clean, some of the best in our trip. They helped us with everything, my boyfriend got sick and they were attentive to us. A thousand thanks!

It was an enjoyable and smooth experience. We stayed here overnight. The host, which is the family, is extremely friendly and accommodating. The place is very good as you are literally few steps away from main areas. I swear the room is super clean. You can’t find fault. We will surely book here again if we decided to go back to Hoi An.

Just a short distance from popular attractions like the Sun Wheel, this charming homestay is perfect for families and those wanting to explore the vibrant city center. Guests will appreciate the serene atmosphere of its quiet neighborhood while still being within walking distance to local sights. The welcoming owners go above and beyond to ensure visitors feel at home, providing exceptional hospitality that truly enhances your stay.
We were fortunate to grab a late booking for 2 rooms after a less favourable stay elsewhere in Hoi An. A very positive experience starting with early check in, helpful host, super clean rooms and comfy beds close to lots of great cafes, spas restaurants and attractions. Very easy to arrange tours or travel through the owner. Clean white fluffy towels daily and complementary water. Our 2 rooms were on the same gloor and we had use of an 'outdoor' table and chairs (very useful for games in the evening). As an added bonus, 'The Lantern Lady' is just around the corner, much to the happiness of my daughters. Would happily stay here again.

It is located in the heart of the old town close to 3 dragons bar. I was able to watch afl football for the weekend. Run by a lovely family who also operates a clothes store below where I had a suit made in around 20 hours. The owner always wants me to buy one more shirt, which was done in fun. Area is very quiet. Coffee shop across the road called 33 has great food, healthy, and tasty options. Beware, the street food seller who does Pho bo style meals in the evening 100m on the opposite side of the road, has local and tourist prices, which was extremely disappointing.

This homestay is a great option for those looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Hoi An. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is still within walking distance of the city center. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The room is spacious and clean, and the bathroom is well-maintained. There is cold and hot water, and the water pressure is strong. The toilet has a bidet, and towels and toiletries are provided. The WiFi is also strong and reliable. Overall, I had a great stay at this homestay and would definitely recommend it to others. However, there are a few things to keep in mind. The doorknob is rusty and it can be difficult to turn the key. Also, the owners have a small dog that barks at strangers. This can be a bit startling, but the dog is generally harmless.
Marjorie G — Google review
The rooms were super noise,it's almost impossible to get a proper rest. However the rooms were clean like the others in Hoi An. The service was awful, they charged for the laundry seven times the price that we accorded before hand. Their argument was that the price was per kilogram, which is a lie because no one pays 12€ to wash clothes. We tried to convince the owner that was abusive, but she went crazy. We've paid in order to avoid conflict. Moreover in the backyard were plenty of rats. To sum up, check for other options and you'll be happier.
Estanis L — Google review
Such a nice Homestay. Rooms are super clean and spacious. The service is amazing and the people are so kind.

Friendliest and nicest hosts I've ever had. We had to leave early and they packed us food to go (Banh Mi breakfast) and water and gave us for the car ride. The rooms were clean and spacious and the WiFi really good. We ordered a trip to My Son through them and all was in order. They have a tailor shop downstairs and I even had 2 shirts made! Good fit and nice material. I would definitely go back there if I ever go back there.
Steinar V — Google review
The owner is very helpful and friendly, the location is great, near the old town, rooms are clean and tidy. One of the family rooms were large with big beds and balcony. Highly recommended, we’ll stay here again if traveling to Hoi An♥️ thanks to the owner lady, she’s really kind.
Hayana's B — Google review
Great value, nice staff. Didn't appear to be a strict breakfast time which was good. Rooms were clean, big and nice. Only downside was we had a window into the internal hallway that had no curtain on it so we had light coming into out room all night. As an aside, although we didn't have clothes made (the ground floor is their tailoring business) it was clear that they actually make the clothes in house - I've read a lot about cloth shops just out sourcing their orders to sweatshops. Had I seen this sooner, I'd have been more inclined to get something made.

Guests can enjoy modern amenities in spacious rooms that are meticulously cleaned daily. The villa is ideally situated between the historic old town and beautiful beaches, making it easy to explore either destination within a short bike ride—free bikes are available for guests!
We had such a nice stay here. The rooms are very clean and offer lots of space, a big bed and a nice badroom. The breakfast in the restaurant next door is very delicious, and authentic, as many local people come here for breakfast. Also the location is really good in a queit area, but still close enough to the Center, and you get a free bicycle. Highly recommended!

Great location, spacious and clean rooms. Free bicycle. Quiet neighbourhood. Just 10 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the historical town. Many nice restaurants nearby. I planned to stay 2 nights but ended up staying here for 10 days, cycling in the morning about rice fields to the beach and exploring local eateries in the afternoon! Very welcoming owner!

Great place to stay. Quiet, but situated perfectly between old town and An Bang beach. There are free bikes to use and easy to get around. No problems parking them around town. Grabs are super easy to get also. The room and building in general was clean and staff are super helpful with anything, including bus tickets if needed. Breakfast next door is also delicious. Would stay here again.

Had a great time here. Stayed 5nights include Breakfast. The owner of the hotel also owns the restaurant next by so you can choose many different meals for your breakfast. The room is super clean and everything was perfect. Only thing i could complain is the water in the shower is only hot or cold nothing between.
Tobi S — Google review
First, the positives: the owner of this establishment and the neighbouring restaurant is super kind, and the food at her restaurant is super delicious (try the cau lau!). Also, when we reached out to shorten our stay, she was very accommodating and sincerely thanked us for our stay. However, we felt deceived that most of the photos and reviews for this hotel on Google were clearly for the hotel next door (summer holiday hotel). This is a 2 star accommodation, not a 3. There is no pool and the rooms look different than the Google photos. Please beware that the pictures might not represent Sum Villa Hotel accurately. Some things that we felt could be improved would be the shower and general cleanliness. We will happily change our review of the place once the pictures, reviews and references of the neighbouring hotel and its pool are removed.

This review is long overdue! My wife and I actually were the first visitors when this hotel opened up. It is a family owned and operated hotel, and they family are such wonderful people. Cherry gave us so many tips on things to do, and things to watch out for. The hotel itself was great value, modern and clean. It is a short bike ride from the main center which my wife and I didn't mind at all. Being the first visitors, we were also upgraded to the deluxe room and got free breakfast. The breakfast was cooked by the mother to order and was delicious. If I ever go back to Hoi Ann, I would not think twice about booking a room here!

One of the top places I've stayed throughout my trip from North to South Vietnam! Highly recommend, great host, she's usually working in her yummy restaurant next door. Tons of privacy, comfortable bed. Huge room AC, very clean. If you're in Hoi An this is the perfect place to stay in between beach and night market. Had free bicycles to use, $120k for motorbike rental.
Courtney J — Google review
This has been the best place my wife and I have stayed during our travels in Vietnam. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We arrived way earlier than the normal check in time and they were able to get our room ready within 15 minutes of our arrival (much to our relief after an overnight train ride). We were even invited to an amazing breakfast at the owners restaurant next door. The villa is in a great location - close to the beach and old town Hoi An. The Villa comes with free bicycle rental but we opted to pay for a motorbike rental which the host helped us arrange (at a fair 120,000 dong/day). Oh and our room was very nice and clean (looks just like the pictures). Would definitely stay here again!

Peach House, located near An Bang Beach in Hoi An, is a fantastic accommodation option for those looking to spend time in the area. The house offers clean and well-maintained rooms with some even featuring sea views. Guests appreciate the superb showers and the accommodating hosts who go out of their way to make their stay enjoyable. The tranquil courtyard swimming pool provides a relaxing oasis, while complimentary breakfast adds to the pleasant mornings.
The Peach house is lovely, and Le is a great host. The rooms are very clean, plenty of towels provided, and the room is serviced daily. The area is nice to walk around, not too busy. Close to the beach, but the weather wasn't beach weather while I was there. There are lots of restaurants and spas within easy walking distance, also several mini marts. There is not a lot more here at An Bang beach, but Hoi An is only 3km away, to visit markets etc. Thru Le, I booked a cooking class in Hoi An, which was fun and delicious, and I highly recommend it.

Our family of 5 stayed here a few nights, it was situated super close to the beach, and all amenities near ang bang beach. The hostess and staff were quite nice and our room was quite open and spacious. The only thing we didn't like out of everything was the beds were very hard, you can feel the coiled springs.. my recommendation for the hostess is to get a thick topper for the beds so their a bit more comfy.

Booked last minute at this wonderful guesthouse, and DID WE LUCK OUT!!! Could not have asked for a better experience. Rooms are lovely, super close to the lanterns/river, very easy to get to places, and if we wanted something a little further away our wonderful Host booked transports and excursions for us on fun day trips, as well as cheaper transport to our next spot in Da Nang. ALSO! They made the best vegetarian Bahn Mi breakfast we had in Vietnam hands down. Could not recommend more!

Helped arrange a moto bike for me (had it brought to the house), laundry, and train transfer early in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and they made me a bahn mi to go for the morning I was leaving which was such a lovely surprise, and gifted me a bag of tea! The location is perfect, near old town and the night life but still really quiet. Room was super clean and comfy. Would stay again and recommend!

After having to find a last minute change of hotel due to an issue, we came across Homie at 9.30 at night. The hosts were amazing, they made us feel welcome and were helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean, comfy and well equipped. The location is fabulous with a great restaurant a couple of doors down and a quick walk to the night market and town. The breakfast was ordered the day before and the Pho Bo was the best we had in Vietnam. This was our favourite place we stayed on our trip. Homie Homestay is highly recommended by us!

I had an excellent stay at Homie Hoi An! The owner and her family are very friendly and give you lots of tips on visiting Hoi An. They arranged a car to pick me up from the airport in Da Nang, the breakfasts in the morning are very yummy, and the rooms are very clean. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and welcome here.

Owner’s warm reception was impressive. It’s like home during my stay. Location is good, closed night market and old town but not noise.
KUAN L — Google review
This homestay is still very new, the owner told us that it opened two weeks ago. The rooms are therefore in perfect condition, everything is very tidy and clean. Everything works perfectly. Although it is right next to the night market, it is very quiet at night. However, we are light sleepers and Vietnamese houses are generally not soundproofed and unfortunately there is currently a building site somewhere nearby, so that didn't suit us. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had a large selection of dishes (you order the evening before). The pho bo is highly recommended! The location is right in the center of the old town. The only criticism: there are no curtains, only interior blinds, which are relatively translucent.

Leaf Homestay in Hoi An is a hidden gem with spacious and comfortable rooms, working AC, and delicious breakfast. The hosts, Mr T and Tao, are known for going out of their way to make guests' stays memorable. It's located away from the super touristy areas, providing good eating options at local prices nearby. Guests feel like part of the family due to the friendly atmosphere and helpfulness of the whole family.
We booked 2 nights and stayed 5 in total because we liked the city, beaches and most importantly the homestay. The room and bathroom was clean, the bead comfortable, plus AC and fridge. Also no flood after showering :) The owner was probably the nicest woman we met in Vietnam. The breakfast was tasty. Laundry smelled really good. Bikes were for free. Location is maybe not the best, but the free bikes compensate this.

This place is a real hidden gem in Hoi An. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable with working AC, and the breakfast is delicious! Mr T and Tao are two of the best hosts we’ve come across in South East Asia. They will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. We were meant to stay for two nights, and ended up staying a whole week. It is not in the absolute centre of Hoi An so you’re away from the super touristy restaurants and have some really good eating options close by, at local prices. You have bikes available for free which makes it incredibly useful to get around quickly. Really can’t recommend this place enough! 👏👏

What a great pleasure to stay here. The whole family was so friendly, we really loved it. They help you with everything you ask for. We felt like being part of the family while we stayed there. The rooms are wonderful and always clean. This house is so nice designed with its garden and all the flowers. You also get free bicycles to get into the old town - which is about a 3 minutes ride. Breakfast is pretty good and has many varieties. We would definitely book again. 10/10!!!

Cannot recommend leaf Homestay enough. The room itself was beautiful and extraordinarily clean, and had great amenities- AC, toiletries, etc. Ms. Tao was an AMAZING host- Very quick to accommodate our every need and always with a smile on her face. The breakfast every morning as well as the free bicycles they provide you with were an amazing touch! The location is great - about a 5-6 minute bike into the old town and about 15 minutes to the beach. They went above and beyond to make our stay here wonderful - even arranging a taxi to pick us up at 3 A.M. for an early flight out of da nang, and Ms. Tao was waiting up for us with a packed breakfast to take on the road. Thank you so much, Leaf!! This was one of the best places we stayed in Southeast Asia. The ONLY negative was that the WiFi (which worked beautifully in the lobby area), did not reach up to our room on the first floor.

Great place to stay in Hoi An. After having 2 places cancel our reservation for "electrical" problems we found Leaf and we are glad we did. They are so hospitable, breakfast was great, and it was in a good location within walking distance to town. Beds were super comfortable and my wife liked the glass partition for the shower area. Booked another 2 nights on the back end of our stay in Hoi An.

Me and my friend visited Hoi an in july and decided to stay at leaf homestay. The plan was to visit Hoi an for 3-4 days, but we stayed there for 8 days!! And one of the resons is Leaf Homestay. When you arrive you come in to this beautiful garden/green oasis. The place is really beautiful. When er arrived were greeted by the owner Ti. He is so kind and helpful. He adviced us where to go and what to do. He and his family made the stay very pleasant. The room we stayed at had two big beds with a view overlooking a bed of flowers, and a big bathroom. The room was clean and the beds was soft enough for our taste. The pictures on agoda do not give this room "justice". It looks much better in real life. You have a tv and a smal frigde with water. The prices on water is cheap, and you need water :) So that is good! And the room has Air condtion. Every morning you will get at breakfast and drink of your choice (you select from menu) and a plate of delightful fresh fruit. You can borrow bicycle for free, they wash your clothes for a small fee, and if you want to rent a motorbike Ti will help you with this. Leaf Homestay is really nice place to stay. It is budget friendly and have a good location. Only 7/10 minutes with bicycle if you want to go to the old quarter/two or 15/20 minutes to the beach (depending on how hot it is outside). If you would like to work out there is a good gym only 2 minutes away. And there are good restaurants in 2-5 minutes walking distance. If I ever go back to hoi an (i will go back) then I am absolutly going to stay at Leaf Homestay.
Christina G — Google review
The Leaf Homestay family are what make this place. We keep coming back (3 years now, each time for longer and longer). The owners of the house have full time jobs - they remodeled and opened the homestay a few years ago "to make friends from around the world." Everyone helping at the homestay is part of the extended family, no outside employees. If possible, try to stay more than a couple nights to have a chance to interact with them. Especially on the weekends, Mr. Ty is more free to spend time with you. If you ask in advance, you can do a family dinner with them and even get a little cooking lesson (extra fee well worth it!). The rooms are modern and clean, beds comfortable, hot water works well, and wifi is pretty good, too. We love the breakfast - mi quang, pho, or baguette options. Their white coffee is our favorite in Vietnam, too. And you get to enjoy it surrounded by their hanging plants and fish pond. We like the location because it's away from the tourist center but easy to walk to Old Town (maybe 10 -15 minutes on foot). It's also close to rice paddies and on the way to the beach (10 - 15 minutes by bikes, which are included for all guests). It is on a main road that gets some traffic but noises aren't too bad at night. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and small convenience shops close by. Just can't say enough good things about Leaf Homestay. They have become good friends and our home away from home in Vietnam. P.S. If you're looking for more recommended places in Hoi An, we put together a guide and map of our favorites, just search “Intentional Travelers budget Hoi An” on Google.

(Translated by Google) It was simply wonderful! Our room was large and very clean. It was modernly furnished. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable, our best experience in Vietnam so far. The accommodation is in a very quiet location and you can still reach everything on foot. 10/10 gerne wieder ❤️

(Translated by Google) For me the best accommodation in Vietnam! After I had to flee from another accommodation because of mold and unacceptable hygienic conditions, I was spontaneously welcomed here and warmly welcomed and looked after. Clean, inexpensive rooms with top value for money, daily exchange and valuable tips for cheap excursions, taxis and activities. Never before have I experienced so much warmth, attentive and personal hospitality - the owners even knew how I drink my coffee. Perfect for travelers who value cleanliness, personal attention and an authentic experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

(Translated by Google) We had a great time at the hotel with the kids. There are 3 beds in the room. Everything is clean and new. It was very quiet and cozy. The hosts are very nice and friendly. They helped us lift our suitcases into the room. We walked with the kids to the old town.
