Super Fun Spot for Families! Came across this discovery center museum while traveling in Thailand and it was such a great surprise! Everyone there was super friendly and the whole place was really clean and well taken care of. There’s a ton to do the whole place is made up of 3 separate buildings, each with different themes and activities, so you’re never bored. Outside, you can walk around and even dig for dinosaur bones (the kids loved that!). There are also some water activities, so I’d definitely recommend bringing an extra set of clothes just in case. Once you head inside, the AC is super cold which feels amazing after being out in the heat, but if you’re wet or sweaty, it can get chilly fast. A light sweater is a good idea to bring along! Inside the buildings, there are all kinds of fun stuff 4D shows, interactive exhibits, TV-based games, and hands-on learning zones that keep the kids busy and excited. Everything is well-organized and super engaging. You could easily spend a half day or more here exploring everything. If you’re traveling with kids or just love fun and interactive learning this place is definitely worth a stop! 👣🦖💦🎥

I can’t believe this place is free entry. Just be sure to bring a picture of your passport if you’re a foreigner. They have so many sections to discover. My children really loved the dinosaur excavation and the giant playground. The indoor section has air conditioning and there is a baby area with a breastfeeding chair and change table. It’s all very clean and well supervised by staff. I found it really easy to get around and appreciated all the staff support and ease of access getting around with a double stroller. It’s amazing. Definitely worth bringing kids to play for a few hours. On weekends they offer a junior Thai kitchen class.

IT’S FREE and AMAZING! Our child loved running around, checking each awesome little play area filled with different toys and themes. Really cannot recommend it enough for young children and parents looking for something to do with their little ones for a couple of hours.

Highly recommend this place for kids from 3 to 12, they had separate activities for under six where they can dress as fire fighter, Veterinarian, Flight pilot and also have to garden. Kids above six have drawing activity and building stuffs.

Great place to bring kids. The little water park operates in 3 time slot. It’s free and well maintained. No food or drinks sold inside but there are shops across the street.

Free to enter for foreigners with your passport. Some areas are in a state of disrepair, but many other areas to let your little one play. There is a playground, water play area, dinosaur bone sand pit, library and giant blocks building area. Some areas like the toys/farming sim rooms are age/height restricted to only toddlers. Today I visited SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, and it was truly an amazing experience. The aquarium is huge, with a wide variety of marine life beautifully displayed in well-designed tanks and interactive zones. I especially enjoyed the tunnel walk, where sharks, rays, and colorful fish swam gracefully all around me—it felt like stepping into the ocean itself. The exhibits are very educational and engaging, with information provided in a simple and interesting way, perfect for both kids and adults. I also liked the jellyfish section, which was stunning with its glowing lights. The penguin zone was another highlight, full of energy and fun to watch. The place was well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s definitely a must-visit attraction in Bangkok if you love marine life or just want to spend a few relaxing hours surrounded by the wonders of the sea.

SEA LIFE Bangkok is such a great way to spend time with the family, especially during the rainy season when outdoor plans get canceled. We booked our tickets in advance through Klook (also available on other platforms) which made entry smooth and hassle-free. Inside, the experience was amazing—so many fascinating sea creatures up close, from colorful fish to majestic rays and sharks. It’s not just about the sights either; the exhibits also highlight the importance of protecting marine life, which made the trip both fun and educational. A perfect mix of entertainment and learning for kids and adults alike!

We had to squeeze the place in before leaving and only had a few hours at the end of day. By which most of the shows and animals had gone to nap. It was still a stunning, out of the world experience. Absolutely recommend checking their schedule in advance so that you dont miss seeing the otters and penguins like we did as they have feeding slots at different parts of the day which all wraps up before 5pm. 12-4 pm may be the best time to visit. Will definitely visit next time on the right time, but the sharks made up for the whole ticket. You also get a madam tussads ticket as an add one with your sea life ticket but the place is only open till 5pm? So if you're done with your sea life visit to you can head to the siam discovery mall (a different location) or use that ticket the next day - it's valid for 2 days.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the tickets are a bit on the expensive side, and some add-on activities cost extra. It can also get quite crowded during peak hours, which slightly affects the experience.

This place is living manifestation of sea life wonder in one place. When you arrive here you will surely be amazed by the environment of the place, first of all the place os well decorated and maintenance is top notch, here you can see almost every sea creatures whatever you have learnt from any book or educational channels, there are so many varieties of sea creatures are available that its a beggers description for me to elaborate it. This place also offers deep sea diving like experience in the fishing tank, if you have any previous diving experience. In a nutshell this place is a worth of money to be there.

Madam Tussauds was a really amazing place to visit. There were such a wide variety of stars, including our personal favorites. There were lots of photo opportunities with your favorite star. Lovely mix of Hollywood, bollywood, sporting and cultural star. I enjoyed the interactive displays that allowed you to play a match. Loved the dress up costumes as well. My favorite was Einstein. The realistic,almost human like stars felt out of this world. If you are in Bangkok you can't afford to miss this!

So good to see world-famous leaders, celebrities, and sports stars all in one place. The statues are astonishing — I wonder how they made them so perfect. It’s a small but great place to visit in Bangkok.

Very detailed sculptures and you can touch them/be close to them for photos (more stable and not like the scam that is Mother's Wax Museum at Kolkata). Although I would recommend to keep a safe distance to avoid high penalties in case of unfortunate events as penalties are quite high in Bangkok (at least 5000 THB).

Ticket easily bought on the spot, for 240 baths (October 2025). You can leave your heavy bags at the concierge for free too.

An iconic tourist attraction in Bangkok and also one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in Thailand. Put on nice socks because you will have to take your shoes off to enter some rooms like in many places in Thailand. As it is a very touristic place, unless you go first thing in the morning, it will be crowded so don’t expect to take pictures with nobody in them. Also bring a bottle of water because the place is huge. However the architecture with so many different styles is very impressive and the atmosphere amazing. The collection of artwork is impressive and you can learn a lot about the history of the country. So beautiful. I highly recommend

I visited this museum on my last day in Bangkok, I found interesting to see tools, chairs, weapons and other artifacts from the different periods that made the kingdom of Thailand what it is today. There is another room about royal family customs and another one with a lot of different Buddhas on display. A good way to put together everything learned during the visit to the temples.

It is also a place that has existed since ancient times and has been transformed into the National Museum Bangkok. Anyone who visits will be able to feel the prosperity that has passed from the past to the present.

It’s an amazing center where you can delight your eyes with beautiful art. I was impressed by how they support young artists by showcasing their work. It was also enjoyable to find some great art items for sale. Both the shops and galleries were fantastic. I couldn't help but feel like there are more opportunities to make this place vibrant or more inviting. Little cold. Toilet were bad though. And the lockers were crazy old.

I visited on a weekday. Not crowded at all. Amazing exhibitions, thought invoking and beautiful space. Took the BTS to get to Bangkok Art and Culture Center which was super easy to navigate as you can enter right from the platform basically. Highly recommend others to come here and then you can enjoy shopping at Siam Paragon, Siam Square, and MBK center.

If you have extra time in Bangkok, BACC is definitely worth a visit. This was my second time here, and it’s always exciting because the exhibitions change every month, so there’s something new to experience each visit. The entrance is free, and you’ll find a wide variety of art, culture, and history beautifully showcased. A very inspiring and enriching place — highly recommended!

Visited there several months ago and this is definitely one of the best art compounds in Bangkok! The complex encompasses a couple of art exhibitions in different floors. Each exhibition has its own character and uniqueness. What is best about the whole experience is it is free of charge, which is great since most museums require entrance tickets. The center is well connected to the major malls around Siam BTS station such as MBK and Siam Discovery.

Even if you don't love art the building itself is quiet impressive inside. The spaces are designed to really emphasize negative space. Although not all of the displays will be to everyones taste, the gallery has contemporary and large art displays on the upper floors. Great place to spend a couple hours absorbing the meaning behind the pieces.

The Bangkok Art & Culture Centre building is very beautiful from the outside and impressive inside. That's the only good part. Honestly, I found most of the exhibits pretty boring. But the worst part was on the last floor. There were literally photos of completely naked people, and they call this art? I was shocked and disgusted. If you don't want to see nude pictures, I would avoid this place. It's a shame that such a beautiful building is filled with such disgusting and offensive content. Not my kind of art at all.

The Grand Palace is stunning and absolutely worth visiting. Even though part of it was closed for a royal funeral ceremony, the experience was incredible. The golden details, murals, and overall atmosphere are unforgettable. Dress modestly, arrive early to avoid crowds, and buy tickets only at the official entrance. It can get very hot, so bring water and take your time exploring. A true highlight of Bangkok.

It is undoubtedly the most famous tourist attraction. One of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen. Beautiful courtyards, a place with history. Entrance fee is 500 TН. Last entry time is just before 3:30 PM. I recommend you visit it before noon. You will see the brilliance, beauty and effort with your own eyes!

Definitely worth a visit. Get there early to avoid the queue and just ignore anyone outside offering to help. Do remember to cover up, long trousers or full skirt plus shoulders covered. Also try the queen's textile museum it's fascinating and would be a visit by itself anywhere else. You need about 3 hours to do it all.

There’s so much to take in here. The architecture is incredible, and the murals are captivating even if you don’t know their full story. Seeing some of the girls dressed in traditional outfits was a nice touch too. You could easily spend a couple of hours exploring the place. Tickets were easy to get on location.

Absolutely amazing collection of hand-made dolls made by few generation within more than half century on the initiative of family's matriarch. Its also a shop and a workshop where you can buy or even order custom-made doll as a perfect gift. Before visiting, please check Museum opening hours at Google Maps.

Great place with a very smart and polite owner. It was an interesting experience and the gentleman told us lots of pretty interesting and educating thing. The place is full of history and craft. Strongly recommended!

An excellent collection of classical Thai dolls as well as a nice international display

A charming little place. This place is quite hard to find since it is located in a nondescript alley of a residential area. The brown signage of the usual Bangkok landmarks is also covered by an overgrown bamboo tree. Had to call the owner via the number posted on the door for the museum to be opened. Inside is a large collection of traditional Thai dolls created artistically and painstakingly with every glittering detail. Also houses a large collection of international dolls. You can see the place in 30 minutes. Best of all, entrance is free. The place is a bit run-down and not very well-maintained due to the off beaten location but as someone who appreciates art and craftsmanship, this place is nice. They also sell dolls with glass cases, figurines, canvass sheets of puppets and keychains. If you want an authentic Thai souvenir, this is the place.

A nice place to spend a couple of hours in - some areas can take Instagrammable photos. I am just impressed the amount of effort in placing the toys and the toys collection. I thought it be wasting money and time when I got there , but it wow-ed me as we moved along. Entrance fee is THB150 for adults, THB100 for kids.

Have been past this place many times and always meant to stop by for a coffee. Place itself is a toy museum with cafe attached. Good activity for families and parents with young kids. Inside there's an enormous array of toys and toy themed stuff to look at. Museum has an entry fee. 100 baht for kids and 150 for adults. That's alright as the collection is extensive. Outside there is ample parking plus an atrium outdoor area with a play space for kids. Also inside there are activities available for kids including coloring etc. We ordered an Americano and an iced lemon tea. Cost 110 baht. Drinks were ok but nothing special. Good place to come if you've got young kids. 4/5 stars.

Toy museum in Nonthaburi that collects all of the toy models and figures you can imagine and all of the character models in every universe here. Your kids must be enjoyed the fantacy world touring. 150 baht for adults and 100 baht for a kids admission. EV charger for parent's car is available.

I came again last weekend, last time was about a year ago. Excellent little private museum of Toys. Kids really enjoyed it. Outdoor play area was a hit. Come and support - Is worth the visit and the coffee shop is great.

I went for cafe. It's okay to hang our and enjoy your favorite toys.

We really had a lot of fun here, and it was much bigger than we thought it would be (our visit was about 3 hours including a drink). A huge collection of figurines, models and toys. If you enjoy perusing collections of things then it is definitely worth making the effort to come out here. We took the red line as far as the airport (or could sky train up the green line) then just got a Grab the rest of the way. There was also a nice coffee shop within the museum.

While this attraction has great information for you, the hours are not the best. They have one show time per day, and the snakes aren't really active. I noticed inactivity from indoor and outdoor snakes. The snakes who were active seemed to be testing the boundaries of their tanks. Inside had signs up for no video. The museum was very educational and you can learn a good bit about snakes. There are very impressive skins and skeletons on display. You can get some pretty cool pics. I think I enjoyed the inside museum more than the outside portion. Outside was very hot without mush offered for cooling and the snakes were all hidden and sleep. Though it was a bit fun trying to find where the snakes were hiding. If you like or love snakes then come visit here.

We visited the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (Snake Farm) in Bangkok, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We arrived around 11 o’clock, just in time to watch the team carefully extract venom from the monocled cobras — an incredible thing to witness up close. Everyone there was kind, calm, and clearly knew what they were doing. We spent some time walking around the exhibits, grabbed a bite to eat nearby, and came back at 2 pm for the snake show. It was fascinating. I’ll admit I’m a little afraid of snakes, so I wasn’t completely relaxed, but the staff explained everything so clearly that even I could enjoy it. The kids were amazed, and we all left smiling. A genuinely unique and memorable experience — educational, friendly, and well worth visiting.

Very cool and informative farm. Set half outdoors and half indoors with a fair bit of variety of snakes to look at and learn about. Not a very big place but I was quite happy with my experience. They have a little show at 11am on weekends and 2pm on weekdays where the handlers bring out snakes one by one while a vet tells you all about the snake in both English and Thai. 🐍

Amazing experience! Never visited a snake farm and its well worth it! They have various species with lots of explanation. You don’t wanna miss the exhibition which happen to be at 11am on Sundays (different during the week)! It is intense but for those who like this type of activity will enjoy for sure!

Snakes give me the Willie’s but this place is great. The shows are exciting and fun to watch and there are many snakes exhibited. It’s in old buildings with modern interior and there are both outdoor snake pits and indoor exhibits. The venom milking and snake presentations and interactions with experienced handlers is really special. And you can. Hold snakes too… not me tho :)

Had such a nice time at the Butterfly Garden. Close to Chatuchak Market so we did both the same day. The Butterfly Garden was free (have to register when you get there if foreigner) and pretty empty so you got to see everything really well and could take your time. Such a nice enclosure and could see lots of different butterflies up close. Nearby park was super lovely and an easy walk to the market. Would definitely recommend.

Today I visited the Bangkok Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, and it was a refreshing and peaceful experience. The garden is beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of butterflies flying freely in the large dome-shaped enclosure. Walking inside feels like stepping into a colorful, natural wonderland. There are also informative displays about different species of butterflies and insects, making it both enjoyable and educational. The surrounding park area adds to the calm atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stroll. It wasn’t very crowded, which made the visit even more pleasant. Nice butterfly garden has a small indoor museam area with air-conditioning inside 👍 inside you can find many types of butterfly,🦋 i saw some ppl bring sticks with cotton dipped in honey to make the butterfly come😄

I wouldn’t make a special trip just to visit this butterfly park, as it’s fairly small and there aren’t quite as many butterflies flying around as we had hoped. However, if you’re already nearby—for example, visiting Wachirabenchathat Park—it’s a nice little stop, especially since admission is completely free. At the entrance, there’s a small exhibition with plenty of information about butterflies, although it’s all in Thai. Thankfully, with Google Lens, everything can be translated easily and understandably.

Lovely place to learn more about the diversity of native butterflies and insects. The exhibition texts are in Thai only though. The entry is free, many families and kids come here. It's a bit dated and in need of proper maintenance but it's free public education and their effort and service needs to be applauded. It's located in a lush, shady park, only takes a nice relaxed stroll to get there.

I left my language at the bus station and had a walk in the park which was great it's a lovely park. The butterfly garden is free and has a little insect museum with dead pinned insects/ butterflies and live caterpillars and such, but there's no English translation. The garden itself is a beautiful little greenhouse full of field flowers, orchids and a koi pond and the butterflies aren't scared of humans which is really cool, you can come right up to them and even hold them on your finger. I noticed mainly monarchs and one other type that's black with four vibrant blue spots, but that was mainly it. It was pretty empty on a Sunday and so was the park, so I definitely recommend it if you're overwhelmed by the crowds at the weekend market

A nice little place to go at or with kids. Inside there is a small museum with big butterflies and bugs and alive caterpillars showing their cycle of turning to a butterfly. The park itself is very green with elevated pathways here and there. There is a fountain to add the vibe of tranquility. There is also a fish pond with golden fish. And of course there are butterflies. I guess it depends on a season, but in December there were not so many of them, but occasionally I could spot some really big Machaons. No entrance fee. Just need to register in the app.

This is the coolest spot we have been in Bangkok so far. The museum is a bit far from the centre but totally worth a try. There are sooo many toys, figure, bearbricks... from those manga/cartoon/anime. Very nice arrangement and I'm impressed by the batman with owner's face. The place is not crowded, which is a huge bonus point 😉 Entry price: 200THB/pax Definitely highly recommend!

This place is simply amazing and wonderful! A true hidden gem in Bangkok! I found it online just by chance and I got blown away during the visit with the amazing figures collection beautifully displayed all over its 3 floors. I was the only visitor today at 16:00 and I had the chance to chat briefly with the owner, who explained me that he has collected all those marvels for 20 years. If you a fan of cinema, manga and vintage figures and games, this is a must see! I am just shocked that the place is relatively so unknown. Recommended 100%! The 200b of the entrance fee are totally worthy and more!

Totally amazing museum of toys it is some wonderful toys from batman which you can see is his first love of toys and the rest I saw so many toys which I never know was out there. Must place to go

Phenomenal! An outstanding collection all available to view. If you like Batman here is a vast collection of toys and ephemera of the character. Marvel and DC are well represented as are so many other characters, manga, anime, comics all here. A very professional and beautifully presented collection in a purpose built multi floor building with lifts, a lovely coffee shop and all cool and calm. Definitely worth a visit!

Such an awesome museum in the Ladprow area of Bangkok. Yes it is a bit difficult to get to if you stay in central Bangkok and very bad traffic jam if you taxi during the rush hours. But it's all worth it if you are a huge entertainment fan of all ages and type. There are something for everyone, whether you are DC fan, Disney fan or Japanese cartoon fan. A lot of the items is so rare that there are only a few pieces around the world and one of the piece is resistant in the museum.

I visited this place mostly because of my interest in architecture — I didn’t even know what the center was really about. The access is free. As I walked from floor to floor, I found out that the center focuses on teaching French (and some other languages), and also runs cultural events, workshops, and classes. When I visit places like this, I always think how great it is that young people have opportunities to grow and develop here. Let’s get back to the architectural aspects that caught my eye: The large glass wall at the front brings in lots of natural light, and the plants outside help block the strong sunlight, making the space feel calm and relaxing. On the way upstairs, there’s a stepped seating area, and if you look up from there, you’ll see three big, colorful glass panels that represent the colors of the French flag. There’s also a restaurant on the ground floor, which makes the place feel less formal — not like a typical school or college. It’s definitely worth visiting — who knows, maybe it will inspire you to learn a new language.

Nice building with outstanding design. Love the interior... cool space. The auditorium is lovely and cozy. Good for hosting event. Easy to reach by MRT with a short walk.

I studied here for the A1 level and really enjoyed the environment. The place is small but cozy with a motivating atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. The library is nice, and I especially loved the French themed exhibitions that made it feel immersive, like being surrounded by French culture rather than just sitting in a classroom. The main teacher was excellent. He he clearly had both knowledge and experience, and his teaching style made the lessons engaging and effective. However, there was one downside. Whenever this teacher was absent, the substitute, who was usually older, often shared stories about his encounters with Thai people and culture. The way he told them came across as ethnocentric and at times it felt uncomfortable, almost like subtle prejudice. Even so, I would say the overall experience was positive. The strong teaching from the main instructor and the atmosphere of the place made learning enjoyable and motivating.

I enjoyed watching the wonderful play "Mozart 25". I hope there'll be more shows like this

I need to do 3 pages of IGCSE transcripts into French. They said they don’t know how to do because it’s not birth certificate or marriage book. They don’t know how to translate other documents. After my complaining, they agree to do it. And it will cost 3 months to translate 3 pages score! It’s really profession.

Superb acoustics at Auditorium, really enjoyed concert & film events here. Great cafe here too. Walk in from Lumphini Park, use Google Map. Big construction project going on in this area, at least for next 3 years. Alliance Francaise provide shuttle service to MRT Klong Toei station.

I’ve taken both A2 and B1 online courses at Alliance Française Bangkok, and unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing — particularly with some of the male teachers. In the A2 course, our male teacher often seemed distracted. While students were working on exercises, he was visibly reading a novel, which felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to our learning time. In the B1 course, I once asked a male teacher a grammar question based on a PPT that he himself had shared with the class. Instead of offering an explanation, he dismissed my question in front of the entire class, saying it was irrelevant and that I shouldn’t ask deeper questions. This was confusing, especially since the question came directly from the material he had provided. Overall, I’ve found that the male teachers lacked patience and professionalism in the online classes, while the female teachers were generally more competent and respectful. For an institution with such a strong reputation, I expected much higher teaching standards and a more supportive learning environment.

Great swimming classes, my son has been following lessons for the past one year, and is now very comfortable swimming. Teacher Ryan is doing a fantastic job in bringing confidence to children, being playful, engaging and supportive. Highly recommended !

We experienced always great coaches who were able to play and teach the right practice to my kid. Fun and professional. Venue is small, but very well organized. Great backend office service.

Best swimming school for my daughter in Bangkok! Very attentive and patient instructors, also funny — make kids laugh during lessons. The office staff are helpful and very communicative. The recently renovated pool looks great! Wish my daughter still having her lesson there. We are missing the days when my daughter had swimming lessons there.

Horrible experience !! My kid and I will never come back to this place again! I did a trial session for my 3 yo boy, first swimming class and not confident with water. They told me that I need to start at a non-parent class, I asked if I can join but they told me no parent allowed. I trusted them. When we arrived The teacher didn't take time to introduce himself to my kid, he didn't try to make him confident in the water and didn't try to help him join the class. And worst of everything he didn't look at him and he suddenly slipped and started to be under water without help... I had to go in the water and helped him!! The teacher didn't pay attention at all! This is the worst class I ever took! Don't bring your kids to this place especially with this teacher (Wednesday class).

Our son loves the classes and the teachers all seem to be great. Tom is very relaxed and fantastic at getting the younger ones to be comfortable in water. Christian's class is much more structured and great if you are looking for lessons in techniques.

My child has the best experiences here. There is never a day when she doesn’t want to go to school. She definitely learns a lot through play and with the help of a warm and loving environment created by teachers and all staffs.

Both of my children were at Noddy from the age of 2 and stayed all the way to year 1. Noddy is simply wonderful and we all loved it very much. We have so many happy memories of our children at Noddy Playgroup. We just loved it. The staff are all wonderful and the facilities are good and safe. I just wish I could do it all over again.
