I had the pleasure of having lunch here on 9/1/25. As soon as I walked through the door the experience began, before even heading up the stairs. This place is furnished uniquely and the art compliments the aesthetic they are aiming for. The menu is nice blend of earthy & comfort food - plenty of juices, smoothies, salads and bowls alongside pizza & burgers. I had the Chili Bao Bao, Caesar Salad, and an Acai blend smoothie. All of it was delicious and presented wonderfully. The staff was kind and made me feel welcomed. I would highly recommend you add this establishment to your food tour or regular rotation of eateries.

Great variety of food, high quality food. I enjoyed the Vegan mopping , truffle dumpling and katsu curry. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the truffle pasta. Good location too. Only thing was the Restaraunt was super hot inside.

The ambience of the restaurant is good and the variety and taste of the food / drinks are great! Love the dan dan noodles, its flavourful and portion is just nice, it also came with a soup. The signature drink (Mental Space) has a unique and refreshing taste.

The ambience is really nice. There is a lot of stairs and I didn’t see an elevator. Also they really need a fan because the AC wasn’t really working or maybe it was turned off. There is free parking in the back. We used to eatigo and it was really annoying because there are some items that aren’t allowed and it isn’t marked so they should just get a separate menu or make a disallowed list. Desserts aren’t included. If you want crunchy noodles with your Khao Soi, please ask in advance, because mine were too soggy. Also, the cow soy is small, but yummy. The appetizer was a bit small, but it was really good, especially dipped in the curry sauce. The curry thing was very tasty and a good portion and if you don’t like the onions, maybe they can substitute it for something else. I would definitely return. I think this place is mostly Farangs

I had high hopes for this place. The reviews are very positive. It is quite expensive for what you get. They charge taxes on top of the advertised prices and then they overcharged on the taxes as well. It took a while to sort it out but eventually it was done. The pizza was ok. Probably won't go back.

Amazing vegan katsu curry! I had passed by this place many times but since it doesn’t look open on the ground floor, always thought this place must be closed or unpopular. But I decided to try it once I saw the good reviews. I went alone as I’m just staying in Bangkok for a few days as a visitor. Wow, the menu had so much variety, all very health conscious dishes that I’d like!! I tried the Katsu curry after seeing good reviews. It was sooo good! I also loved it had rice berry, so the dish wasn’t just vegan but had superfood. I can’t wait to try other dishes next time.

Lovely vibes! I can see how that skews the reviews. You absolutely should try the pizza to experience what we did: hilarious disappointment. Cold, tiny, and not actually pizza (what’s pizza dough? we fought over who’d have to eat the final slices). The portions are small, the food is mid, and you order online like it’s overpriced fast food. The waiters are nice, but the service charge is curious for this setup. Bon appetit :)

Ordered via grab. Not cheap but really glad there’s this option if I want some really good tasting clean food with solid protein options. Edit: second grab food and ordered the chicken bowl and added salmon. All the flavors were good and texture on point. Chicken was well seasoned and tender. Also got the green juice and it was delicious. No odd after taste and everything blended well together.

This is my second time here! I'm impressed by great food options from salad and rice bowls to wraps, sandwiches and healthy sweet treats - perfect for breakfast and lunch. Notably this is a great place to come if you eat plant-based and want healthy, great value meals to keep you full (not those sad skimpy few pieces of tofu). I recommend the Rice and Shine bowl. Coconut americano is also good to have especially for eating in (you will get loads of coconut flesh!). You can build your own bowls with plenty of hot and cold items. I'm not surprised why this place is a hit for office people around Sathorn!

I had dinner at Pimp My Salad and it was delicious! I built my own bowl, it was well-served, perfectly seasoned, and everything tasted great. The atmosphere was very pleasant too – overall an excellent experience.

I've been here a few times already. The service is prompt, their salads are phenomenal, everything is very fresh. They'll ask you how done you want your meat or fish and the result never disappoints. I especially love their modern and well-designed interior. It has a nice choice of materials.

Great place to have a brunch, I had the tempeh bowl and the small açaí bowl. Both tasted great and I loved how their menu included a nutritional breakdown of each of the dishes. The atmosphere is a bit sterile but still nice.

Really enjoy the food at Pimp My Salad. Always fresh ingredients with enthusiasm. I'm particularly impressed with the steak & egg combos for breakfast. Oh & the coffee beans comes from sarnies roasters so you know it's gonna be good.

The food here is healthy and delicious! I really recommend the quinoa burger. On the side we ordered a salad. We also had the red curry, it was a bit sweet but still good. The energy balls is a nice dessert after the meal. The service is also very kind.

I came here a few times. First time was in 2018. And it was always ok. However, not more than that. I really like the snacks. The deep fried cauliflower for example. But the mains I tried were a bit meh. I always wonder why vegan restaurants feel the need to stick to existing dishes instead of creating totally new ones. With different names. Like their vegan Tom Yum. It doesn’t even remotely tastes like Tom Yum. So I was a bit disappointed because I expected something else. Anyway, the place is nice. Good service. Lots of expats. Quite pricey. No parking. Of course. It‘s Sukhumvit 49.

Very good thai food. Mai was our attendant. She ensured we were very comfortable. Even gave us baby utensils for feeding our 8-month old baby. Somtum Der is Highly recommended

A cute authentic Thai food restaurant that was Michelin recognized since 2018. We were a group of 4 people that came here to have dinner, and decided to sit outside, as the inside had a strong cooking smell that was tough for us. From the salads section we ordered the Tum Mamaung Pla Krob (spicy sour mango salad with crispy fish) and the Tum Kaopod Kai Kem (spicy corn salad with salted egg). Both salads were very well seasoned, but veryyyy spicy (although we requested them not too spicy). From the charcoal grilled section we ordered the Moo Rong Hai Der (grilled marinated pork) which was very delicious, served with a spicy sauce (yet again, very very spicy), and this was probably the best dish of our dinner here. From the rice & noodles section we ordered the Kao Kaprao Kai Dao (stir-fried holy basil with pork and fried egg on rice). This was also a very spicy dish, but it was tasty and the rice balanced the spiciness. After all of this, we were still hungry so ended up ordering another dish. It was the Pad Mee Hang Nuea Lai (stir-fried noodles with sliced marbled beef shank and egg), which was a bit meh, lacked seasoning and the beef slices were a bit dry. Our friends that have issue with spiciness ordered several different dishes and specifically requested to make them not spicy at all, but they were all way too spicy for them and they ended up returning some dishes up to 3 times until the kitchen got it right. Considering the entire experience from end to end, I'd probably skip returning to this restaurant, also noting that it wasn't very good VFM as we spent almost 600 baht per person.

Authentic Thai Isan Cuisine found in Bangkok! Absolutely amazing and the MVP goes to Grilled Beef Tongue! All the dishes I ordered were so finger licking delicious! The restaurant located nearby to Central Park Mall and Lumphini Park. It was not too crowded when I visited the restaurant, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. But I personally prefer indoor seating due to weather and dust. Price was slightly higher, my bill was around 900 thb +- But it worth the price as the food quality was great! Those who like spicy food can try it here!

It’s recommended to book a table in advance. The staff are friendly and provide good service. The place can get quite noisy, but you can still hold a conversation comfortably.

Quite unique menu but had that uniquely dishes. I think it’s Isaan cuisine. I had the slow cooked thinly sliced brisket cook with cow’s blood. A lot milder in flavor than I thought and added the fresh leafy vegetables that they gave me and I think that really added another dimension to the dish. The clear Tomyam pork cartilage soup was my favorite. And they also had Coke slushy with sour plum, a nice beverage addition to dial back the spicyness of the dishes. Try this place! It was Wednesday night at 9pm and it was a full house l!

Good location but Som Tum is not the best of menu in Tum Lao and Tum Pu taste is very strong salty no more sour and a little bit sweet any other type menu eg. fried and soup best more than Som Tum, Overall of taste is not strong.

The food is nice but maybe a little bit too spicy for some. The service is also good. The staff can speak English well. Although the restaurant is quite small but should be enough. Would recommend come and try.

The bbq chicken was tender and moist on the inside and surprisingly crispy on the outside, the meat is very flavourful, well marinated. Easy to order using the English order sheet, place is quite warm and small, but staff are helpful speaking limited English. The lady boss whom I think took part in iron chef speaks English so feel free to check with her. The lotus salad is unique and fun to eat and cuts thru the oiliness of the grilled meat. Overall, a good place to visit for local meal but prepare wet tissue and fan.

Som Tam Jay So is an absolute gem for authentic Isaan flavors! We loved it so much that we came back three days in a row. Their Som Tam Thai is perfectly balanced with spice, sweetness, and tang. The grilled pork neck (Kor Moo Yang) was tender and flavorful, and the larb moo had just the right kick. If you want real Thai food. This is the spot .

Fantastic food. The BBQ chicken and Som tom are very delicious. Very busy due to its popularity among both locals and tourists. I knew it was the right place as the famous food vlogger (Mark Weins) was eating there at my time of visit.

We stumbled in here for our first meal in Bangkok and it was only after we were seated that I recognized the place from a Mark Wiens video. He also wrote an article about this restaurant specifically that comes with some recommendations. Unfortunately, I didn't realize where we were before we ordered so I didn't reference it. This didnt matter in the end. Though we had no idea what to select from the menu, a friendly Thai couple helped us out by choosing some popular items for us. Wow. We received what was certainly the best papaya salad I've ever had, and I've had many. It arrived spicy and covered in peanuts and topped with crisp sections of corn that made it taste unbelievably fresh. I'll be trying to replicate this dish next summer back home. We also received charcoal-grilled chicken wings that had that smoky bbq flavour that you never get at bars and pubs that rely on the frier. Healthier, tastier. Next came a spicy soup of some kind, I believe pork-based, which was super flavourful, and a delicious isaan duck salad, which was herbacious and not too spicy. All of it was delicious and very modestly priced, but the highlight was the unforgettable papaya salad topped with corn. Do not skip this place.

Ordering one grilled chicken wing, one thigh, and a papaya salad with grilled pork neck needed up costing us 220 baht when another reviewer said 4 wing plus pork neck plus a papaya shrimp salads cost 240 baht. The grill is next to the dining tables so the place is extra hot. There are ants and flies all over the place. The owner had no intention of showing the actual bill at the end either. I’d recommend avoiding this place, total scam

I liked the local vibe and the food here as the flavours were spot on food but the service was chaotic which affected the overall experience. I arrived just before 12pm when it was busy with locals. The ordering process was a little confusing but I was given a paper to mark my order. The chicken wings arrived quickly but the papaya salad took 50 minutes which was frustrating and I had to follow up many times. Despite the delays, the wings were perfectly cooked and the som tam was spicy yet well balanced.

Blue Elephant serves incredible food at a great price! 😍 Even though we were full, we couldn’t stop until we finished all the chef tasting menu dishes. I got a Tom Yum Cocktail 🍸 but barely drank it because the food was too good to put down. The waiter even asked if it was too spicy, but I was just busy savoring every bite. Highly recommend!

Very nice food experience. But not enough people to serve our group. Each & every food was very tasty. They also had some fusion of Thai style/flavoured steak, which was outstanding. Desserts were also nice.

Came back to this fabulous place after 10 years, this time with the family, and it didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere inside the old mansion located in the middle of the Sathorn concrete jungle is an old-school colonial one. The food is great. Wonderful experience.

The restaurant manager Arm served us. He was very customer service oriented. He showed us the menu with picture and patiently explained to us the dishes and recommended us the dishes to order. We enjoyed the meal very much. The restaurant’s staff are all very friendly and its ambiance tastefully decorated. We definitely will come again. The food is fresh and tasty , delicious and well presented.

This was my first time eating at Blue Elephant and it did not disappoint! William was very hospitable and welcoming, he was knowledgeable on Thai cuisine and explained all the dishes to us. The service was AMAZING! My favorites were the Phad Phong crab curry (Must try) served with soft charcoal buns and the traditional Tom Yum Koong. Warm, comforting flavors that were quite different from the modern Tom Yum. The Green curry and Massaman curry could’ve used a bit more salt though, especially since we ate it with rice. Overall great food and experience, they even gave us ladies a flower at the end of the night 💛

The cocktails were excellent, definitely the highlight of the meal. However, the food was just average considering the high price point. What really disappointed me was the hygiene and service. We saw a cockroach right next to our table by the window 🤢🤢🤢 Luckily, we stayed calm and informed the service staff. They simply handed us a tissue to clean the area, without any apology or follow-up. For a restaurant in this price range, I expected much better service and cleanliness. Looking back, I regret not speaking up more — it didn’t feel right that nothing was done about it.

Came for dinner on Sat with local friends. All the food we ordered was great, esp. all the beef dishes - veal tongue and Wagyu beef short ribs were very tender. Bone marrow was amazing too. One of my friends was vegetarian and she loved the extensive veg menu and the truffle risotto was yum. Pretty decent wine list, price on the high side. Friendly and attentive staff who always checked in with us. Will be back to try other items.

What a fantastic experience all around. Fantastic drinks, wonderful food and top notch service. Every bite was packed with flavour and beautifully presented too. The drinks were genius combining traditional Thai flavours in to cocktails. Staff were super friendly, polite and helpful. This is the kind of restaurant you dream of going back to time and time again.

Best cocktail bar in Bangkok! The bartenders are super friendly and very experienced and they have worked many years in this place. There’s a huge selection of spirits. The biggest and best gin selection that I have seen in a cocktail bar. Choose amongst the interesting cocktail menu. And on the top of it, the bartenders can make a cocktail of their own creation based on your tastes. Don’t miss it when visiting Bangkok.

Delicious food and great service. Great place to try interesting dishes that are rarely found elsewhere, like deer tartare. Mushrooms were particularly good. Kind and attentive staff is what made the restaurant so memorable for me though. We were asked if we would like wine. When I said I can't because I am pregnant, our lovely waiter and waitress brought us a complimentary pavlova to congratulate ❣️

One of the must go restaurant when I visit Bangkok! Lamb rack highly recommended with wine pairing. Waiters are very friendly and welcoming. We had great time every time.

The decoration looks great but the food and service quality undermined the whole experience. Too many tables to serve resulting in staff rushing to present the dishes. Felt more like a mass production line rather than a relaxing fine dining experience. Though the food looks interesting as a concept, the sequence and combination of format of the dishes didn’t meet expectations, especially the taste that did not really complement one another. Still I appreciate that they made it an interactive experience with magic tricks and more, but the quality and value for money was underwhelming.

Such great Thai experience! First of all the interior and space, high ceilings, water, beautiful furniture and colours. This is a cozy luxury Thai dining experience. Two chefs, Michelin-starred Chef Henrik Yde-Andersen and Resident Thai Head Chef Berm Chayawee and their team has created menus that makes you leave with a smile on your lips. Their current ”Whispers of the Land” menu focuses on local ingredients from different parts of Thailand. Everything came with a story from the very attentive waiters.

October 8th, evening - I don’t even know where to start — Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin completely blew me away. The whole experience was just next level. Our servers, Jay Jay and Troy, made the evening unforgettable. Jay Jay was beyond professional, super calm and confident — you could tell she’s been doing this for 100 years. Everything about her energy was so sympathetic and effortless. Troy on the other hand had us laughing all night — he kept throwing in little jokes and brought such a light, personal vibe to the table. The two of them together were the perfect duo. And the food… honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection — not one single thing to improve. The timing, the service, the ambience, the whole flow of the evening — flawless. I’m genuinely stunned by the level of hospitality. Huge thanks to Jay Jay and Troy for making it so special — you guys nailed it - definitely will be back!

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Jimmy, Ta, and Troy went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism added a special touch to our celebration, making us feel incredibly valued and pampered. We opted for the 7-course menu, and each dish was a masterpiece. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. Great place for vegan Thai food though the location is out of the way . However the food was delicious and made up for the location. The prad krapraw moo sab ( fried mince meat with basil ) tasted just like the real thing . The Som Tum and Larb Moo were delicious too .

We were driving back from the outskirt and visited this restaurant on our way back on rainy day. Perhaps due to the weather, the place looks especially cozy and dreamy. The ambient was really good, tucked in a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic. You suddenly felt like you're out of Bangkok. Unfortunately, I didn't get to dine there as rushing home to avoid the traffic. The food taste falls below my expectations from such a beautiful restaurant. They have quite a variety of menu from western to local Thai dishes. Hopefully, they can do with local dishes as their western food was really not up to standard. The pasta was not cooked thoroughly, and I can't taste the truffle at all. It was very bland and hard, this truffle pasta was one of the worst I had eaten thus far.

We booked 42 pax, May boss is very generous, she gave us the whole restaurant space and given top notch food. No MSG, home-made sauce, fresh coconut juice as well.

My understanding of fine dining expanded during my visit to Allium. In the past, I think I expected to be blown away by each dish. I now understand that this is probably an unrealistic expectation. So what should I expect? Fine dining represents the synthesis of high-quality produce and ingredients, the artistry and execution of the chefs, and the service of the front of the house. Such was the case during our most recent visit to Allium. In the spirit of full disclosure, this was probably our fourth visit here over the past seven years. The decor has not changed over this time (and could use a refresh, but to the uninitiated, it is fine). We settled on the 8-course tasting menu. The service included warm sourdough buns with a smoked paprika and sea salt butter. I am happy to report that this was not included in our 8 courses! I can not recall a server who moved so quickly during the presentation of our dishes. Our 1st dish was a tuna tartare (mine without coconut foam), and it was a wonderful balance of tuna, avocado, and citrus. The 2nd dish - French Onion soup was not traditional, but decadentnon the less! The broth was brimming with richness and a depth I've never experienced with this dish in the past. Excellent. The 3rd dish - oyster was not my favorite (I neglected to mention that I do not like lemongrass and it is not common in French cooking). The 4th dish - the scallops was another miss for me. Although I do not like pumpkin, I expected it to be sweeter to mate with the natural sweetness of the scallop. The 5th dish - foie gras was the best I've had in years and was an excellent execution. The 6th dish - red snapper a contrast in flavors. The sauteed fish was mated with crispy skin, stuffed eggplant, and a condensed tomato/red pepper puree. The contrast was interesting, but Im not a huge fish person. The 7th dish - wagyu tenderloin was magnificent! The bordelaise was intense, rich, and full of umami flavor that accented the beef perfectly. This was an awesome dish. The final dish in our menu was dark chocolate and orange marmalade dish with chocolate ice cream. Although I'm not a fan of orange marmalade, the ability of the chef to make me enjoy it was commendable! Merci beaucoup! Our server for the evening was Mimi. I can not recall a server being as attentive and spirited as her. She made sure that our plates were brought to the table in a timely manner without anyone in our party sitting around waiting for their food. Great job Mimi! The restaurant is spacious and you will never feel cramped. Reservations are still recommended and a peak at the current menu is a good idea.

We had a fantastic experience at a highly recommended European restaurant in Bangkok, thanks to a UOB credit card promotion. The atmosphere was romantic, and the food was delicious without breaking the bank. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary cake, flowers, and a "Happy Birthday" sign, which made the night even more special. The waiter was incredibly attentive and gladly took photos for us. It was truly a memorable evening!

We had lunch at the Allium Bangkok and what a wonderful experience it was. The setting is gorgeous, the service attentive and the food delicious. The lunch menue is a steal for the food quality. I will come back.

We visited this place for our wedding anniversary, and it was an excellent choice. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted by a stunning interior. All the elements of fine dining were harmoniously arranged. The staff is fantastic. Especially Tanawan, who took care of us, made our meal comfortable with his proactive attitude. He put in a lot of effort to provide what we needed in a timely manner. Other staff members also paid great attention to making our anniversary dinner wonderful. We are grateful to them. The quality of the dishes is absolutely top-tier in Bangkok. The flavors and textures of the sauces and soups were particularly well-executed. The side dishes that came with the Wagyu beef were unforgettable. The signature cocktail we ordered as a aperitif exuded luxury in its aroma, taste, and texture. We thank the staff for their attention to our anniversary and the chef for the delicious food. Combined with the hotel's luxurious atmosphere, this restaurant is the best choice for anyone looking for a place to celebrate their special occasion.

Delightful dining experience. Food was prepared beautifully and tasted great. I like how they blend high quality local ingredients into the menu. The menu was split into 4 types - starter, continue, main and dessert. We ordered lamb rack, lobster burger, cod (really tasty), strawberry salad, pumpkin curry and chocolate dish for dessert which was a burst of flavors! Staff was also polite and helpful.

The staff and their service, as well as attention to detail, is impeccable. They use quite discreet methods to ensure hygiene in these currently difficult times, making a very relaxed and pleasant environment. The food is presented in a wonderful way and is delicious. Unfortunately the tasting menus are only available for dinner. The wine list is comprehensive with a good selection of wines by the glass too. The tables and chairs are strangely low and somewhat uncomfortable for long legged guests. There are however a couple of larger, regular, dining tables if you're in a bigger group. 5 stars here really means 5 stars.

This place is heaven on earth - for vegans mostly but non vegans are most welcome too. For starters the menu is huuuuge which can make you a bit confused but nothing to worry about. I had a granola bowl with fresh fruits, a passion fruit with soda and an actual passion fruit and a scrambled tofu with avocado on a croissant. The place is impeccable and the staff very attentive.

We were in Bangkok for four days and ate here at least once a day during our trip. The food is excellent, such a varied menu, and the staff are exceptional. They are friendly and go above and beyond to assist. The restaurant is also very pretty and service is very quick, highly recommend.

This place is absolutely wonderful! I love every minute I spend here, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and incredibly relaxing. I’ve tried several dishes and enjoyed them all, but I only snapped a photo of the Death by Chocolate Sundae, which was phenomenal. The music adds a great vibe, and the outdoor seating is a perfect bonus. I always look forward to coming to this location!

Best vegan food I’ve ever had! This place proves that vegan food can actually taste so good and flavourful. The menu is extensive and 100% vegan. You can order anything from breakfast smoothie bowls, pancakes, pasta, thai, zoodles to sweet desserts. It’s located a little off from the main road but is easily accessible. The service is great and swift.

Yet another branch of Veganerie ticked off my list. Service was outstanding, food delicious, restaurant peaceful and relaxed. Went with a mango shake this time and was not disappointed. Can not get enough of their burgers. Food isn't cheap but is good value for money. Fear the day I visit the last store of the chain and no more to discover.

I visited here since I was young. This place is a northeastern cuisine which is adapted to suit Bangkok people and international travelers. Definitely Somtum (papaya salad) is a must have, then I recommend the larb pladook (catfish salad with Thai herbs), grilled chicken is a balance of soft, tender, and not too greasy. Corn salad with salted eggs is fantastic too! No parking at the restaurant but you need to park at either Park Silom or Liberty Builiding.

The food was delicious and the staff were lovely — great service. However, the atmosphere was not enjoyable because some customers didn’t control their children. They were running around and making loud noises inside the restaurant, which was quite annoying. Other than that, everything else was good.

Tasty food at affordable prices. Hai som tam Restaurant is located at the main road just outside Park Silom. Usually all tables are filled and walls are decorated with photos and a bit noisy environment. Food is really nice!!

A totally underrated Thai restaurant!!! My wife and I visit the Hai Thai Restaurant on Convent Road several times during every trip to Bangkok (now for the 39th time). The food is a true delight and incomparable to the restaurants in shopping malls! The Tom Yam Gung is one of the best in the country, and the Som Tam salads are unsurpassed in taste and variety! And let's not forget the green curry! Even ordered less spicy, all the dishes taste incredibly authentic!

We ate here in September 2024 and I forgot to do a review until I saw these pictures in my iPhone:) 4-5* for the staff, the ambience and the space - very nice and luxurious. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese food that we ordered were very far off the mark. All dishes looked good, but taste was not only lacking, but was very inaccurate taste/flavor for authentic Vietnamese food that you might have in Vietnam, or the large Vietnamese enclave in San Jose or Los Angeles, California (we are Vietnamese American visiting from California ). In fact, when we asked for the Vietnamese style fish sauce that goes with basically all Vietnamese food, the staff had no idea what we were talking about :/ I’m hoping the restaurant has a better Chef now to make authentic Vietnamese food.

We came for a quick dinner in Silom and were blown away by the place. Beautiful atmosphere, great food, refreshing drinks and excellent service from the staff, who were fantastic with us. It was our first time eating vietnamese food so there were some dishes which we didn't know how to prepare. Tasaporn and Thanyaret were kind and patient enough to guide us through each dish and showed us how best to prepare them to enjoy the taste to the fullest. For those interested, this place is listed on the Michelin guide at an affordable price. All dishes that we tried were fantastic. Definitely recommend.

I had my worst experience today at this restaurant. I chose it because it is mentioned in the Michelin list, which I always use as a reference when choosing where to eat — in Bangkok and also around the world. Yes, I arrived at 2:10 pm, which was 10 minutes late, but since it is written that they close at 2:30 pm, I thought it would still be fine. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing: • I was only allowed to choose one meal, even though I had wanted to try the Vietnamese nems. • The portion I received was disappointing, and the sauce they served was the wrong one for the dish. When I asked for the correct sauce, nothing was done — and honestly, the dish itself had nothing of a true Vietnamese taste, which explains why they were unable to serve the right sauce that fit. • In the middle of eating, they gave me the bill straight away, clearly rushing me because they had a wedding event coming up. I can understand they were busy with another event, but every guest should still be treated as a top priority in any case. • On top of that, a small 25cl bottle of Dusit water was charged 100 THB, which feels excessive. • The woman who seemed to be the manager was very strict, showed no smile at all, and did not welcome me in a professional manner. 👉 I do not write this comment to be unkind, but just to inform other guests so they do not make the same mistake if they are looking for a truly Vietnamese-style place. Overall, very disappointing for a restaurant on the Michelin list. I do not recommend this place.

My Favourite Spot for Vietnamese Food! . Thien Duong at Baan Dusit Thani is our go-to place for authentic Vietnamese food. My grandma and I love it there! The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. . The atmosphere is cosy and elegant, and the staff are kind and attentive. We always leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommended!

Visited this restaurant for dinner after exploring several Vietnamese spots around Bangkok. We noticed it was under the Dusit Thani brand—renowned for its long-standing reputation in Thai hospitality—so expectations were understandably high. However, this particular outlet may benefit from a thoughtful re-evaluation. First, the service team struggled with basic English communication, which made even ordering a beverage unnecessarily complicated. It’s a critical area to address, especially in a city that caters to international clientele. The air conditioning was uncomfortably cold, and even a simple request to adjust the temperature proved challenging—an environmental detail that can deeply affect the overall dining experience. As for the food, we didn’t quite find the authenticity we were hoping for. Several dishes felt more Thai-influenced than traditionally Vietnamese. The fried fish, served whole, had no discernible fish flavor—only a strong presence of old frying oil. Spring rolls were unfortunately bland. The pork tenderloin I don’t understand what had to do with Vietnamese food, it was just seared with some paprika and super dry as over cooked. The broccoli sautéed covered with full of spicy sauce… didn’t know is Vietnam recipe this.. The pho soup which is the signature of Vietnam food, was bland and tasteless. And the Negroni was made using Martini Rosso, which felt like an outdated shortcut in a city where premium ingredients are widely available. It’s small details like these that define whether a place stands out or fades into the background. Given the pricing, which is on par with or above other Vietnamese venues in Bangkok, the experience simply didn’t deliver the expected value. My advice, is to revisit the core concept: Is the goal to offer true Vietnamese cuisine—or a localized hybrid? Either way, clarity and consistency are key, and refinement in both service and flavor execution could make all the difference.

We ordered prawns pasta, lasagna, mussels, and pizza. The pasta was average to be honest, I needed lemon to make it taste better however the first time they gave me a tiny piece of lemon and the second time I asked they were so late that I had only one bite left. The lasagna as well was good but not the best. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is great it felt like UAE restaurants👍🏻 They gave complementary bread and had drawing paper for kids which is great.

My family and I love Mozza. Ever since we tried it the first time a year ago, we have been hooked since. The menu is excellent. The service is topnotch. And most importantly, the quality of the food is amazing. Will keep flying back to Bangkok just to eat at Mozza!

Ruyi restaurant is a Thai and Chinese vegetarian restaurant. The food is delicious and budget friendly. We especially loved the Tom Yum noodle soup. It’s in the alley ahead of the Hua Lamphong MRT exit #3. We hqd to wait for approx 40 minutes to get a table and another 30 minutes to get the food. But it was worth the wait :-)

I love when I find this type of restaurant! The menu it's all vegetarian/vegan so when you read "duck" you know it will be fake meat. They have so many options that you wish you have 3 stomachs! The food was really delicious I wished my portion was a bit bigger but my partner one's was a good size. Don't expect the type of fancy place as it has a really basic aesthetic, no music, no pillows. We truly loved every bite.

Areas for Improvement: • While the friendliness of the staff is appreciated, the service felt inconsistent — with some team members appearing overly idle or disengaged, which affected the overall dining experience. • The portion sizes have noticeably decreased compared to previous visits, and while the pricing remains within an acceptable range, the current quantity-to-price ratio now feels slightly below average. In summary, while the food quality remains impressive, a more consistent and attentive service approach — along with better portion value — would significantly enhance the overall dining experience.

Excellent Isan food🧡 Although the price is a little bit high, I believe it is well worth it! Deep-fried Pork Belly with Fish Sauce and mushroom fried are two of my favorites. really delicious! If you come, don't forget to try the coconut ice cream. Not only does it smell good, tasty, and creamy, but it also differs from other restaurant.🍨 Plus,The restaurant's decoration is beautiful. Baan Somtum is hidden in the Soi (street). It’s a destination restaurant that is guaranteed to please your yearning for Northeastern Thai food should you choose to make the trip. I strongly urge that you do. The food here is delicious. Service is very attentive and food served is very quick. Presentation is good. Food taste is more on the robust side which means there’s no need to season for taste. Another good attribute of the restaurant is cleanliness which is good. Highly recommended.

The best I-Saan restaurant in town period!! For those who love papaya salad, you gotta try Laos traditional one. Also, i would recommend fried banana blossom served together with sweet chili sauce. The location is easy to find. It's quite spacious and cozy. There are lot of tables, however you should make a reservation beforehand especially during the weekend or holidays.

One of the best Isan restaurants in this area. Baan Somtum has many branches in Bangkok and nearby province however this branch is my all time favorite Isan restaurant. Tum Luang Prabang is my favorite dish also fried chicken wings are suit to be a side dish. Coconut ice cream can decrease the degree of spicy to your stomach. Staff is kind and friendly. Huge parking lot is next to the restaurant.

Somtum tastes good but with surprisingly expensive. Somtum Thai 80 bht. (I had somtum at Tumtor with half the price and double the amount) Somtum with raw shrimp 130 bht. (However I like the texture of the shredded papaya here.) Grill chicken 80 bht. Sticky rice 20 bht. Lots of parking space. Somtum is served quick but cooked dishes are taking some time..

Love the food at Veganerie! Its one of my go to restaurants when I’m in Bangkok. The Pad Ka Prow is one of the nicest vegan versions that I’ve had. The tonkatsu curry rice is also great! The v-nuggets made of lion mane mushroom is also very tasty!

I've been coming to Veganarie for years, I'm glad they keep updating their menu and added more sugar free options. Love these protein pancakes, they're my go-to for breakfast. And love this new sugar free cookie dough ice cream 🍦 😋 😍 Highly recommend for vegans who like to feel they can order anything from the menu. Friendly staff and chill vibes.

If you love mushrooms and vegan food hit it up. They have lots of cool fusion dishes, I want to try the fried mushroom chicken waffles next time. Definitely get the fried mushrooms any way you can. Price is moderate, seen cheaper off the beaten path but better price than vegan food at the mall, so not exactly tourist trap but Expect to drop some dough though.

Super delicious vegan Thai food! I had the khao soi soup and the Thai tea smoothie! The broth was super flavorful and the faux beef was really tasty. The Thai tea was also perfect and not too sweet. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting BKK.

Absolutely delicious! They had mung bean fries on the menu, that looked like French fries so I tried them and I have to say they were delicious! Quite a good restaurant in the area. This restaurant is not unique to the atea since they have several branch. It is located in the street level. The place is quite big and have aircon. Food taste is quite good. We order the Somtam (Papaya Salad), the pork and the omellette. It all taste good, not the best, but still good. The somtam is fresh, they make the sauce fresh when we order it, and the fruit quality is also good, and similar to the rujak taste if you are Indonesian. The place itself is nice, it has aircon, nice seating, and not too crowded. We dont need to queue at all during our visit at lunch time. Service is not the best, but still decent. It takes about 10 minutes for our food to be delivered. Overall good.

A nice hole-in-the-wall Thai vegetarian cuisine spot right under Ekkamai BTS station. The Som Tum Avocado was a highlight, lovely and fresh. Each bite of the Miang Ta-Krai was delicious. And the Geang Hoh (stir fried glass noodle red curry) was aromatic and tasty. The only down side was the green curry with roti; the green curry was too watery though the roti was nice. Their seasonal lemonades were also good. All in all, I would go again.

I was looking for Somtum and found this restaurant out. Taste was quite nice and price was affordable! I got grilled chicken, papaya salad, sticky rice and coke , bill total was 175thb. They served sticky rice instead of white rice , like Yisan style. There was an aircon room as well.

Esan papaya salad in both open air table and Aircon room. Food are delicious and generous quantity. Dining in the evening with iced cold beer is a must! Beef krapao is my favorite. Price is very pocket friendly.

Good choice for salad lovers, located at the first floor in Sathorn Square building, the shop is quite big. The food is fresh and there are lots of choice of salads and juices. My Stars are a combination between my 4 Stars and the 2 Stars of my Thai friend who made me go there because she found it on social media. Farmfactory is a nice Salad bar. Unfortunately the salad waits for you all day (or days) in a steal container. My salad was quite OK because the dressing was oil and vinegar. My Thai friend has thousand islands... If you love salads Farmfactory is a good choice. If you want to eat healthy then you need to ask questions and choose carefully. I might come back one day. My Thai friend made it clear that this was the first and last visit.

A chef-recommended set meal priced at 5,600 baht (without service charge or taxes) resulted in nothing but an expensive waste of intelligence, and an extraordinary experience of vomiting and diarrhea. After the appetizer bread (this might be the most delicious thing on the entire menu), came a series of beautifully crafted dishes served from the kitchen. The ingredients were cut extremely thinly, like paper, accompanied by strange sauces of various colors that were neither sweet nor sour. They were placed on empty plates as fresh cold dishes that resembled contemporary paintings: Three small pastries, each composed of layers of mini ingredients and sauces, measuring only the size of a coin, contain raw fish. 2. Cut the raw fish into small pieces, arrange them in a thin layer to form a cute fish shape, and decorate the top with various sauces. 3. Special homemade Italian steamed dumplings. The dough is slightly undercooked, and one thin mushroom, as thin as a bamboo shoot, is placed on top. 4. The dried mushrooms are flattened and placed on a plate. Some sauce is added on top. Only about a quarter of a salmon fillet is placed on the plate, with five shrimp grains on top and a layer of sauce (this is the only cooked food on the entire menu). 5. Making your own ice cream sorbet is not much better in taste than the double-scoop ice cream sold in the mall. 6. Cream dessert, with colorful sauce applied on the top; surrounding it are several scoops of ice cream and cream granules. These dishes not only have an extremely small portion size, but also have a taste that can be described as unpleasant. This kind of thing that doesn't fit into any specific category and can't be classified into different schools, we call "creative cuisine" in China. And these mere six small plates of "masterpieces" took a full hour to be served. Looking at this scene, I felt like I was a fool in the movie "The Menu". I don't understand why the chef chose to use raw fish as the main ingredient and serve it to the guests in a country located in the tropics with frequent reports of water pollution? When the uncooked smell entered my mouth, my body actually had a physiological reaction, sending a warning to me. And I believe that a five-star hotel wouldn't make such a basic mistake as "inadequate freshness of ingredients", and would insist on stuffing uncooked food into my mouth. Before the meal was finished, I felt unwell and went to the bathroom to vomit for over 10 minutes. After returning, I weakly explained my condition to the waiter and refused to take the remaining dishes. The lobby manager immediately came over to apologize, offered a 15% discount on my order, and provided free ginger water to warm my stomach. He also explained that it takes at least 4 hours for the food to start being digested. I was too tired to continue arguing and just pretended to be acting to avoid the bill. I merely expressed my disappointment with the meal here and then paid the bill and left. That night, I began to have a fever and break out in a sweat. The next day, with severe vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, I directly boarded the plane back home. Eventually, it was diagnosed as acute gastroenteritis. Thank you, Four Seasons Hotel, for giving me such an unforgettable night in Bangkok. I will never forget it.

Very local bistro with live bands singing thai songs and live broadcast of soccer matches. Best place if you like to mingle with the locals. Food are good and drinks are relatively inexpensive compare to the farang clubs nearby.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It was a rainy night. The cozy and casual ambience provided a much needed reprieve from the inconvenient weather. The service team was great; from the portioning out of the seafood soup to pouring our Prosecco, they were all very polite and attentive. The food was well prepared and done. I loved the grilled vegetables, lamb chops with the potatoes, the vongole pasta, seafood soup and the complimentary lemon sorbet to clean the palate. We had to give up ordering dessert as we were stuffed! That gives me a reason to return next time!

We went there at 5 pm and were told 2 of best ingredients and 3 types of wine by glass are sold out. We 3 people ordered a lot of food and ended up taking away 2 dishes which barely touched since we were too full. I feel like it would be really helpful if staff recommend us that we ordered too much (I know people might have capability to eat differently but at least they can just point out to us) Our risotto is underdone, I mean it supposes to be al dente but this is 75% raw. As you can see in the photo. Last but not least, it was quite hot as we were sweating while having dinner. I mean for this price, the place is so beautiful, at least invest in better air con.

Despite the restaurant having ample space on two floors, all three occupied tables, including ours, were placed uncomfortably close together. This proximity was disruptive, especially with one table occupied by individuals reviewing the food, potentially influencers, which somewhat detracted from our celebratory atmosphere. Moving to the food, our selections included a pizza featuring half parma ham and buffalo cheese, half seafood with tiger prawns and squid. The pizza was enjoyable and well-prepared. However, the razor clam with white wine sauce was disappointing; it lacked flavor, and the clams were served cold, far from the anticipated sweetness. Similarly, the grilled sea bass, though cooked perfectly, lacked seasoning and failed to impress. Another significant letdown was the service. Our waiter seemed unfamiliar with both the menu and basic restaurant operations. When asked about popular dishes like lobster risotto versus razor clams, he provided unhelpful responses, such as stating that lobster risotto contains lobster and razor clams contain clams. His lack of knowledge extended to the beverage menu, where he couldn't provide details on items as basic as a glass of prosecco or the type of beer available. In summary, our anniversary lunch at Cetara Bangkok did not live up to our hopes. While the pizza was enjoyable, the razor clam and sea bass dishes were underwhelming, and the service left much to be desired. For a restaurant aiming to offer a premium dining experience, improvements in both service training and culinary execution are necessary to match the expectations set by their reputation.

Southern Italian Seafood, nice and light taste. All dishes are fabulous. Desserts are also good !! I went there for birthday so the staff gave me a complimentary dish "Tiramisu". The price is quite expensive but value for good quality and experience.
