The Jim Thompson House Museum, located on the Saen Saeb Canal in Bangkok, is a must-visit attraction. Once the home of American entrepreneur and architect Jim Thompson, it now showcases his impressive art collection. Thompson played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Thai silk industry after World War II and was honored for his contributions to Thailand. The museum features six traditional Thai teakwood houses that were carefully collected from different parts of Thailand by Thompson himself.
Having had the pleasure of visiting the Jim Thompson House Museum, I can confidently say it's a truly captivating experience. The museum offers a unique glimpse into the life and work of the American entrepreneur who revitalized the Thai silk industry. As someone who appreciates history and culture, I was particularly drawn to the authentic Thai architecture and the stunning collection of Southeast Asian art. The guided tour was both informative and engaging, providing a rich narrative that brought the history of the house and its enigmatic owner to life. I found the serene and lush gardens to be a perfect complement to the intricate design of the teak buildings. For me, the most compelling aspect of the museum was the blend of traditional Thai craftsmanship with a distinctly personal, mid-20th-century aesthetic. It's a testament to Jim Thompson's vision and his deep appreciation for the art and culture of his adopted country. I highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in Thai history, art, and architecture. It's a place that not only educates but also inspires. The "no wait" experience I had made the visit even more enjoyable, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the tranquil atmosphere of this historical gem.

A Must-Visit Hidden Gem in Bangkok! I had a truly enriching experience at the Jim Thompson House Museum. The place is a beautiful blend of Thai architecture, art, and history. The traditional wooden houses surrounded by lush greenery create a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the city. The guided tour was informative and engaging,I learned so much about Jim Thompson's life, his love for Thai silk, and the mystery behind his disappearance. The museum also showcases an impressive collection of Southeast Asian antiques and art pieces. It felt like stepping back in time. The staff were friendly and professional, and the whole place is well-maintained. Whether you're a history lover, art enthusiast, or just looking for something unique in Bangkok, this place is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended!

The Jim Thompson House is an absolute must-visit in Bangkok — especially for anyone who loves design, architecture, or history. Every corner is visually stunning, from the beautifully preserved traditional Thai teak houses to the lush tropical gardens that surround them. The restaurant and café are also wonderful — elegant, relaxing, and a perfect spot to unwind after touring the house. The food and drinks are excellent, with the same thoughtful design touches that make the entire experience feel special. A true Bangkok gem that blends art, culture, and craftsmanship. Highly recommend!

Lovely oasis in the middle of Bangkok craziness (which I love). I went on my own without my kids or other 1/2 following me around looking bored. I have a very peaceful morning enjoying the gardens and architecture. The walk from the station was really interesting as well- lots of great street art down the canal walkway.
Jane M — Google review
I visited the museum in 2019 and fell in love with this hidden treasure in the heart of Bangkok. I visited again to see this place again and I was still amazed at how beautiful and peaceful this place is. I would definitely recommend the visit, and I would personally go with the flow in terms of tour times. It’s a place where you can sit and relax until your tour time. It’s been 7 years since I’ve been and I’ll definitely visit again on my next trip to Bangkok.
Ashlyn N — Google review
The Jim Thompson House Museum was on my list of must visit places in Bangkok and now that I have been, it met expectations. This is a beautifully preserved collection of buildings and artifacts from the life of a man that did a lot to promote the beauty and talent of the Thai silk workers. The included tour adds a richness to the experience. This man has a rich life and it is good to see it kept alive. Oh and the gift shop is well worth a visit.

Super nice attractive! You will learn a lot about Thailand and about Jim Thompson who was very interesting person, there is organized guided tour in many languages you have to join them with no additional payment

A peaceful and beautiful escape in the heart of Bangkok Everything about the Jim Thompson House is just fantastic — the art, the architecture, and especially the lush greenery surrounding the house. It feels calm and inspiring, a perfect mix of history and nature. The traditional Thai design and beautiful garden make it one of the most memorable places I visited in Bangkok. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates art, culture, and tranquility!

The Grand Palace, a historic complex in Bangkok, was established in 1782 and is now open to the public as a museum. It features over 100 buildings constructed over two centuries, including Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the revered Emerald Buddha. The palace grounds are expansive and showcase stunning golden palaces, intricate Buddha statues, and more than 50 temples.
The Grand Palace is maybe the most notable tourist attraction in Bangkok. It represents the culture and identity of the Thai people. We were lucky enough to get there via private tour bus. Getting tickets was a breeze. I just used the ticket machine and paid it with my credit card. The palace complex is massive. Each building provides a glimpse of the Thai monarchial life. The intricacy of the building design and the colors are truly amazing. It definitely shines like gold in a busy urban jungle like Bangkok. Visitors are required to be respectful of the culture and need to dress properly. No revealing clothes for women. Skirts and pants should be below the knee in length and shirts must have sleeves on them. Other than those restrictions, I still believe that the Grand Palace is truly a Thai icon and visitors should pay a visit at least once in their lifetimes.
ALVIN R — Google review
Awesome place to go. Must go attractions. Really majestic. They have an entry fees for all. Do not bring Drone or Selfie stick as they check your bags. Bring water and caps as it gets hot and humid. Great views to know the history. They also have a Buddha pagoda inside, you can sit and pray.
Siddharth D — Google review
The Grand Palace is one of the most impressive and beautifully maintained landmarks in Bangkok. The architecture, intricate details, and vibrant colors make every corner worth exploring. It truly showcases Thailand’s history, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage on a grand scale. The grounds are extensive and very well organized, with clear paths and helpful signage. Despite the number of visitors, the flow feels manageable, and staff are present throughout to guide crowds and enforce dress code requirements. Arriving earlier in the day helps avoid the heat and makes the experience much more comfortable. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is absolutely breathtaking and easily the highlight of the visit. Every structure within the complex is stunning, and the level of detail is remarkable. Photography opportunities are everywhere. It is important to dress appropriately and be prepared for security screening, but once inside, the experience is smooth and enjoyable. The palace feels clean, respectful, and well preserved. Overall, the Grand Palace is a must-visit attraction in Bangkok. It is beautiful, culturally rich, and truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Thailand.
Travis K — Google review
The Grand Palace in Bangkok is truly a stunning place to visit! The complex is full of beautifully decorated, colorful buildings that are impressive in every detail. The entrance ticket costs 500 Thai baht, and although it’s one of the most popular attractions among tourists, the visit is still very pleasant and well organized. You can visit the entire area in about one to one and a half hours, depending on how much time you spend exploring each spot. In some buildings you must enter without shoes, so it’s a good idea to wear something easy to take off. Overall, it’s an absolute must-see — one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks and definitely not to be missed! 🌟

Grand Palace – Bangkok One of the most magnificent landmarks in Bangkok! 🌟 The Grand Palace is a breathtaking combination of Thai architecture, history, and culture. Every building is richly decorated, and the intricate details of the temples, walls, and statues are truly stunning. The palace grounds are extensive and very well maintained. Highlights include the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), beautifully adorned with gold and colorful mosaics. Entrance fee is 500 THB, and modest clothing is required — shoulders and knees must be covered. They provide sarongs if needed. 🧥 Visiting early in the morning helps avoid crowds and the midday heat. Guided tours or audio guides are highly recommended to fully appreciate the history and stories behind the palace.
Hashem M — Google review
The Grand Palace is stunning and absolutely worth visiting. Even though part of it was closed for a royal funeral ceremony, the experience was incredible. The golden details, murals, and overall atmosphere are unforgettable. Dress modestly, arrive early to avoid crowds, and buy tickets only at the official entrance. It can get very hot, so bring water and take your time exploring. A true highlight of Bangkok.
Julia O — Google review
It is undoubtedly the most famous tourist attraction. One of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen. Beautiful courtyards, a place with history. Entrance fee is 500 TН. Last entry time is just before 3:30 PM. I recommend you visit it before noon. You will see the brilliance, beauty and effort with your own eyes!
ALEXANDER V — Google review
Definitely worth a visit. Get there early to avoid the queue and just ignore anyone outside offering to help. Do remember to cover up, long trousers or full skirt plus shoulders covered. Also try the queen's textile museum it's fascinating and would be a visit by itself anywhere else. You need about 3 hours to do it all.

Aquarium
SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, situated in the Siam Paragon Mall, is a top-notch metropolitan aquarium in Southeast Asia. It boasts 7 themed exhibition areas showcasing hundreds of marine species. Visitors can enjoy informative and fun experiences such as 4-D films and underwater adventures. The presentation of the tanks is impressive, featuring a wide variety of fish including sharks and rays.
I visited SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World last weekend, and I honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed. Tucked away beneath the luxurious Siam Paragon mall, the entrance felt like stepping into another world — cool, dimly lit, and full of mystery. I’ve been to a few aquariums before, but this one stands out for how immersive and well-organized it is. The Ocean Tunnel was absolutely magical — walking through a curved glass tunnel while giant rays, sharks, and shimmering schools of fish glide overhead felt like something out of a dream. I literally stopped mid-step to just take it all in. One of the highlights for me was the Penguin Ice Playground. It’s set up with artificial snow and a chilled environment to match their natural habitat, and the penguins were so playful and curious! There’s also a Jellyfish Zone with glowing tanks that looked like underwater lava lamps — super soothing to watch. I also tried the Glass Bottom Boat ride, which felt like floating above a live coral reef. For just a bit extra, it was 100% worth it. Kids around me were in awe, and honestly, so was I. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout, and it never felt overcrowded despite being a weekend. If you're in Bangkok and looking for a break from the heat and chaos, this place is a cool, calm, underwater escape. Perfect for families, dates, or even solo explorers like me!
Cao L — Google review
Today I visited SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, and it was truly an amazing experience. The aquarium is huge, with a wide variety of marine life beautifully displayed in well-designed tanks and interactive zones. I especially enjoyed the tunnel walk, where sharks, rays, and colorful fish swam gracefully all around me—it felt like stepping into the ocean itself. The exhibits are very educational and engaging, with information provided in a simple and interesting way, perfect for both kids and adults. I also liked the jellyfish section, which was stunning with its glowing lights. The penguin zone was another highlight, full of energy and fun to watch. The place was well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s definitely a must-visit attraction in Bangkok if you love marine life or just want to spend a few relaxing hours surrounded by the wonders of the sea.
Ronak J — Google review
SEA LIFE Bangkok is such a great way to spend time with the family, especially during the rainy season when outdoor plans get canceled. We booked our tickets in advance through Klook (also available on other platforms) which made entry smooth and hassle-free. Inside, the experience was amazing—so many fascinating sea creatures up close, from colorful fish to majestic rays and sharks. It’s not just about the sights either; the exhibits also highlight the importance of protecting marine life, which made the trip both fun and educational. A perfect mix of entertainment and learning for kids and adults alike!
Benjo L — Google review
We had to squeeze the place in before leaving and only had a few hours at the end of day. By which most of the shows and animals had gone to nap. It was still a stunning, out of the world experience. Absolutely recommend checking their schedule in advance so that you dont miss seeing the otters and penguins like we did as they have feeding slots at different parts of the day which all wraps up before 5pm. 12-4 pm may be the best time to visit. Will definitely visit next time on the right time, but the sharks made up for the whole ticket. You also get a madam tussads ticket as an add one with your sea life ticket but the place is only open till 5pm? So if you're done with your sea life visit to you can head to the siam discovery mall (a different location) or use that ticket the next day - it's valid for 2 days.
Leah J — Google review
SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World — A Fun and Fascinating Escape Beneath the City SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World is tucked right beneath the bustling Siam Paragon — an incredibly strategic location that makes it super convenient to visit. That said, getting there for the first time can feel like navigating a maze; the mall’s layout can be a little confusing, so a bit of patience (or following the signs closely) goes a long way. Once inside, though, it’s a delight. The ticket prices are fairly affordable considering the scale of the experience, and the whole place is thoughtfully designed for accessibility — wheelchairs and strollers can move around with ease. The variety of marine species is impressive, from colorful tropical fish to majestic rays and penguins, giving both kids and adults plenty to marvel at. Some sections can be a bit dimly lit, so parents might want to keep a close eye on their little ones. Also, the air-conditioning is quite strong — which is great for comfort but can be chilly for visitors used to Southeast Asian heat. A light jacket, especially for children, is a smart idea. All in all, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World is a refreshing, family-friendly escape right in the heart of Bangkok — a perfect mix of education, wonder, and fun beneath the city’s vibrant streets.
Gamal K — Google review
This place is living manifestation of sea life wonder in one place. When you arrive here you will surely be amazed by the environment of the place, first of all the place os well decorated and maintenance is top notch, here you can see almost every sea creatures whatever you have learnt from any book or educational channels, there are so many varieties of sea creatures are available that its a beggers description for me to elaborate it. This place also offers deep sea diving like experience in the fishing tank, if you have any previous diving experience. In a nutshell this place is a worth of money to be there.
Sudipta B — Google review
Sea Life Bangkok was honestly not worth the money. It was extremely crowded, and there were barely any staff around to guide or help — it felt quite chaotic at times. The so-called glass bottom boat ride was especially disappointing; it felt like a complete scam, just circling around a small pond rather than offering any real underwater experience. The entire place came across as overly commercial, more focused on selling extras than creating an enjoyable visit. That said, we did enjoy the 4D cinema — it was fun and well done. But overall, the experience didn’t live up to expectations, and I definitely wouldn’t do it again next time.
Wangari ( — Google review
A very impressive aquarium considering its size. We visited as a family of 4 with 2 teens and it kept us busy for a good 3 hours with its fascinating exhibits. Highlights included the rainforest, otter, and Gentoo penguin exhibits.

The National Museum Bangkok, originally the home of the Vice King in 1887, is now a sprawling complex showcasing centuries-old Siamese treasures, weapons, and royal antiques. As the largest museum in Southeast Asia and the first in Thailand, it offers an ever-growing collection of historical pieces and relics. Visitors can explore anthropological and archaeological exhibits spanning from pre-historic life to different reigns of Kings.
If you only have to pick one museum here in Bangkok to visit, then this is the place to go! Not only the buildings within the territory of museum have plenty of AC (which is definitely a plus in Thailand), the buildings have showcased a handful of precious ancient Thai pieces and artworks. The museum also houses stunning temples and pavilions which are worth spending moments to appreciate. Be sure to spend at least 3-4 hours here because there are simply too many things to look at. Please note that the museum closes at 4pm so I would suggest to come here around 12pm so you have 3 to 4 hours of admiring all the historical remains and escape from Bangkok heat.
Larco A — Google review
Impressive museum composed of several buildings and temples. Perfect for those interested in learning about the history of Thailand through the ages but also those who enjoy a stroll to see nice artefacts like those incredible sculpted ivory horns or ancient doll houses. Ticket easily bought on the spot, for 240 baths (October 2025). You can leave your heavy bags at the concierge for free too.
Gigi D — Google review
An iconic tourist attraction in Bangkok and also one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in Thailand. Put on nice socks because you will have to take your shoes off to enter some rooms like in many places in Thailand. As it is a very touristic place, unless you go first thing in the morning, it will be crowded so don’t expect to take pictures with nobody in them. Also bring a bottle of water because the place is huge. However the architecture with so many different styles is very impressive and the atmosphere amazing. The collection of artwork is impressive and you can learn a lot about the history of the country. So beautiful. I highly recommend

Absolutely stunning! Visiting this Bangkok museum with my partner was an unforgettable experience. The architecture, the exhibits, and the atmosphere are all breathtaking—truly a feast for the eyes and soul. Every corner had something beautiful and fascinating to discover, making it feel like we stepped into another world. Perfect for couples who want to explore, learn, and share special moments together. Highly recommend!”

Rather pleasant curatorship and visiting experience. Great overview of Thai history with a heavy focus on modern times and the past two centuries. Great plus is the nice shop to buy memorabilia, souvenirs and chat with the unexpectedly friendly old Thai ladies
Nicolas — Google review
I visited this museum on my last day in Bangkok, I found interesting to see tools, chairs, weapons and other artifacts from the different periods that made the kingdom of Thailand what it is today. There is another room about royal family customs and another one with a lot of different Buddhas on display. A good way to put together everything learned during the visit to the temples.
Mohammad A — Google review
The museum spreads across several former palace structures. You’ll find galleries dedicated to Thai history, archaeological and art history, and decorative arts—from Buddha sculptures to royal textiles and ceremonial chariots. If you're into Thai history, art, or royal culture, this museum delivers. It's more contemplative than flashy, but packed with depth and beauty. Give yourself at least two to three hours (more if you’re diving deep or catching a tour). It's not polished in every corner, but it’s genuine—and waiting to tell its stories.
Kirandeep W — Google review
Having visited many places, Thailand's National Museum Bangkok tells stories very well in every aspect. It is also a place that has existed since ancient times and has been transformed into the National Museum Bangkok. Anyone who visits will be able to feel the prosperity that has passed from the past to the present.

Asiatique The Riverfront is a unique open-air mall and night market located along the Chao Praya River in Bangkok. It offers stunning views of the river, featuring a 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel and a two-story merry-go-round. This former international trade port has been transformed into a shopping and cultural hub, with boutiques, restaurants, and traditional Thai performances like Muay Thai Live and mini-puppetry shows.
The place has almost everything a tourist os looking for: fun, food and entertainment! We had our lunch at halal restaurant but it wasn’t to my taste! The souvenir shops offer many things that one may not be able to have time to buy at large shopping area. The ferris wheel is indeed a must ride! It looks so heavenly beautiful at the most top overlooking at the Menam Chao Phraya river and the city beyond. There are entertainment area such as the Jurassic world, the haunted house the boat etc. Family with children will definitely enjoy going to Asiatique!
Yasmin Y — Google review
Asiatique The Riverfront is one of my favorite spots to visit in Bangkok! It’s not just a shopping area — it’s also one of the main piers for dinner cruises, so it’s very convenient if you plan to enjoy a river cruise in the evening. The place itself is beautiful and aesthetic, with lots of charming corners perfect for taking photos, especially around sunset when the lights start to glow. There are many souvenir shops selling cute and unique items at reasonable prices, much cheaper than in many other tourist areas. The food options are great too, from street snacks to proper restaurants, so you can easily spend hours walking around, shopping, and eating. There’s also a ferris wheel, which looks beautiful at night, though the ticket price is quite high compared to other attractions. Still, it adds a nice touch to the riverside skyline. One tip — when you’re waiting for a Grab or Bolt, don’t do it from the front entrance, as it’s usually very crowded and confusing for drivers. Instead, go to the north gate, where pickup is much easier and faster. Overall, Asiatique is a must-visit spot for shopping, dining, and sightseeing by the river!

Asiatique The Riverfront is a modern, vibrant market in Bangkok that offers a refreshing twist compared to the city’s traditional markets. Instead of chaotic stalls, you’ll find well-organized shops with a wide variety of products, making the whole experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. The area is filled with attractions, including a large Ferris wheel, a kid-friendly haunted house, and the Jurassic World experience, which adds a fun and playful atmosphere for families and visitors of all ages. Along the riverside, you’ll also find boats offering different excursions—an ideal way to see Bangkok from the water. When it comes to food, Asiatique doesn’t disappoint: there’s a great choice of restaurants, mostly serving delicious Thai cuisine. Whether you’re shopping, sightseeing, or just enjoying the river breeze, Asiatique is absolutely worth a visit.

Great place to visit with great shops and restaurants. There’s definitely something for everyone at Asiatique. Best way to access is on a river boat and experience as well a small river cruise. Evenings are a bit better, less hot. Pretty busy but not overcrowded in my opinion. Another must-do in Bangkok.
JUAN F — Google review
Great place, plenty to offer, from the very young (game arcades) to the more mature. There are so many different choices of food, great choices and the quality of food we had was great. You can also go onboard a boat after buying a ticket and go up the river enjoying the food and drink aboard. Or simply sit in one of the bars and people watch the others passing by. The area opens up from circa 5pm. Really good vibe to the place, it's busy but not overwhelming.

I wish I had more time at Bangkok to visit this place once again. Very charming and has lots of souvenirs shops and prices are not high. Such a good place to walk and wander and buy things and eat good food. Loved it!! <3

The Hatch Dome and Jurassic Park area are new attractions and worth a visit. There’s also fresh grilled seafood available nearby at Big C, which makes it a nice stop for food lovers. You can easily reach the place by boat from ICONSIAM, adding a bit of fun to the trip. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, great for both families and friends to hang out. I really enjoyed the visit and would love to come again.

Pak Khlong Talat, also known as Bangkok Flower Market, is a bustling and spacious market that offers an extensive variety of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and spices. Open 24 hours a day, the market provides a vibrant sensory experience with its colorful displays and fragrant scents. Visitors can witness locals skillfully preparing sacred temple offerings such as delicate lotus blossoms and fragrant jasmine garlands.
A Floral Wonderland Beyond Just a Market This isn’t just a flower market—it’s a vibrant, sensory experience where both locals and tourists come to source stunning blooms and exquisite arrangements. With an incredible variety of flowers on display, everything looks impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. Beyond the visuals, the scents of blossoms fill the air, making it the perfect escape from the sweltering heat outside. Strolling through the market feels almost meditative, a refreshing retreat from the bustling city streets. Conveniently located near several major tourist attractions, it’s well worth a visit—not just for the flowers but for the unique, atmospheric charm it brings to Bangkok.

As part of the booked biking tour, we went here. The market was very busy outside and inside. There are so many sellers arranging and selling flowers. The candles are a must buy for 10 baht a piece. The ones in coconut shells are 25 baht. The best seafood noodles we tried is in random cart who prepared it for us. We parked our bikes inside the market as we went around by foot. There's so much to do, see, and eat here.

You must visit this flower market. It's absolutely stunning – beautiful and magical, with flowers everywhere. We visited during the Songkran festival. There are a lot of orchids in different colors and varieties. Lilies are beautiful. I think they offer flowers as offerings to Buddha. You can take about an hour to explore the alleys in the flower market area.

Evening is the best time to visit in this hot weather. Every bouquet is worth its price. I saw many locals taking photos on the bridge near the flower market. Grab a bouquet and spread your feminine energy!

If you’re looking for a vibrant, authentic Bangkok experience, head to Pak Khlong Talad at night! This 24-hour flower market offers fresh flowers at amazing prices and a chance to see the rhythm of real local life. The colors, scents, and atmosphere are unforgettable — plus it’s a fantastic spot for late-night photography! Pro tip: Bring cash, wear comfy shoes, and don’t be shy to chat with the friendly vendors! Definitely one of the best hidden gems in Bangkok.

Cheap fresh flowers, 50thb for 10 to 12 roses. I got 20ish. They had plenty of varieties. If you plant to take the BTS or MRT, go to museum Siam to find pak khlong Talat.

As I know that is the biggest flower market in BK. Many flower shops inside and outside the market. Of course, the price is super affordable. Visiting this market, not only for shopping flowers to decorate, gift. You can enjoy walking along the ancient streets as well. Enjoy your trip!

Park
Dream World is a lively amusement park located on the outskirts of Bangkok, offering a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages. From thrilling roller coasters like the Sky Coaster and Hurricane to family-friendly rides such as Speedy Mouse and Haunted Mansion, there's something for everyone. The park also features entertaining theater performances, themed play areas for kids, and opportunities to meet fairytale characters.
Dream World Thailand exceeded all our expectations and delivered an unforgettable experience! From the moment we entered, the park was vibrant, well-organized, and full of energy. There’s truly something for everyone — thrilling rides like the Sky Coaster and Hurricane for adrenaline junkies, and charming attractions like Snow Town and the Giant’s House that kids and families will absolutely love. The entire park is beautifully maintained with themed zones that are perfect for photos — especially the Fairy Tale Land, which looks like it’s straight out of a storybook. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We also appreciated the clean facilities and availability of food options throughout the park, catering to a range of tastes. One of the highlights was the Hollywood Action Show — a fun, high-energy performance that added something extra to our day. We easily spent the whole day here and still felt like there was more to explore. Highly recommended for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a full day of fun, laughter, and memories. Dream World truly lives up to its name!

We visited Dream World with a Super Visa pass — perfect for kids but equally fun for adults! 🎉 The park has around 42 exciting rides, including the Hurricane and Vikings (my favorites!). Some rides had a small queue (10–15 mins), but totally worth it. Tip: Take breaks between rides to avoid motion sickness — doing rides back-to-back made us feel a bit sick. 🤢 One of the highlights was Snow Town ❄️ — our first time experiencing snow! No queue at all, and we were given jackets and boots before entering. Inside, it was freezing cold, and we had so much fun making snow figures, catching falling snow, and taking photos in beautiful snowy spots. 📸 The park is super clean, full of food options, shops, and fun activities. Once inside, we felt like kids again! 👶✨ Highly recommend for families, groups, and adults who love childlike fun. ⭐ Rating: 5/5 – A must-visit in Thailand!
Praveen D — Google review
Dream World Bangkok is an unforgettable experience and one of the most fun amusement parks I’ve ever visited. The park offers a wide variety of attractions that cater to all ages, making it a perfect destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. Better to come early morning, as this park is extremely crowded. One of the highlights for us was the Super Splash—we enjoyed it so much that we went on it three more times! The snow town was equally impressive, and the rides there created lasting memories. The black hole coaster had a long wait—over 40 minutes—but it was absolutely worth it for the thrill. The haunted mansion was wonderfully themed and thrilling, though not particularly scary. Carting was another exciting experience, providing lots of fun. Cable car ride was closed for maintenance during our visit. The food court at Dream World is large and offers a variety of tasty options, which made it easy to grab lunch in this busy day of activities.

Nice place to visit for rides and a full on theme park vibe. Ideal for kids and adults both. Has some exciting rides with thrills. A decent lunch buffet can also be purchased but plenty of other stalls to buy sbacks and food from as well. Weekends are crowded. Ticket counter opens by 10am. Make sure to be there on time and start with the rides located at the back of the park so that you can start before the crowd comes. Rides seem a bit old but maintaned well. Best to buy tickets online as the price is better. For Snow town jackets and boots are provided. Overall fun experience for a good value.

Dream World Bangkok – A Must-Visit for All Ages! Dream World Bangkok exceeded all our expectations and delivered an unforgettable experience! From the moment we entered, the park felt vibrant, well-organized, and full of energy. Whether you're visiting with kids, friends, or as a couple, there's something for everyone. 🎢 Rides & Attractions: Adrenaline junkies will love thrilling rides like the Sky Coaster and Hurricane, while families and younger visitors can enjoy charming attractions such as Fairy Tale Land, Giant’s House, and the magical Snow Town — where you can experience real snow in the middle of tropical Thailand! 📸 Themed Zones & Photo Spots: The park is beautifully maintained and packed with themed areas that make for fantastic photo opportunities. Fairy Tale Land especially feels like stepping into a storybook, and the oversized props in the Giant’s House are perfect for quirky, fun photos. 🎭 Shows & Entertainment: Live performances like the Hollywood Action Show and parades add excitement and variety throughout the day. They’re well-timed and entertaining for all ages. 🛝 Water Park & Relaxation: After enjoying the rides, the Water Park is a great way to cool down and relax — especially if you're tired after exploring. It's a nice balance between adventure and leisure. 🍜 Food & Facilities: Food options are reasonably priced, with both Thai and international dishes available. We found clean restrooms, shaded rest areas, and plenty of seating. For example, a plate of chicken fried rice was just 70 Baht and came with unlimited salad! 🎟️ Tips for Visitors: • Buy tickets online in advance for discounts and quicker entry. • We opted for the day pass with unlimited access, which was great value. • Try starting with attractions that have shorter queues and leave the longer ones for later — lines tend to shorten in the afternoon. • Weekdays are less crowded, with minimal wait times (as little as 5–7 minutes for some rides). • Some attractions like the go-kart track require basic driving skills. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Perfect for: Families with children, groups of friends, couples, or even solo travelers looking to escape into a world of imagination and fun. Verdict: Dream World lives up to its name! It's a well-rounded theme park offering fun, laughter, and lasting memories for visitors of all ages. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok.

Sathorn Unique Tower, often referred to as the Ghost Tower, stands as a haunting reminder of the 1997 Tom Yum Kung economic crisis that halted its construction. Originally envisioned as a luxurious 49-story condominium with stunning views and upscale amenities, this architectural marvel was designed by Rangsan Torsuwan. Despite its unfinished state, it has become a magnet for adventurous travelers and urban explorers drawn to its eerie charm and fascinating backstory.
Build in the 90s and never got finished like so many other buildings around because of the tom yum kung crisis 97. Used to be a tourist attraction, until they found out tourist would pay the guard to go up and relax and take pictures. The owner didn’t knew about it and since then it has been forbidden. People still go up, idk if it depends on the bribe or guard who is there but there are still several ways up.

Wat Suthat Thepwararam Ratchaworamahawihan is a magnificent 19th-century Buddhist temple known for its iconic 20-meter red teak Giant Swing and an impressive 8-meter bronze Buddha. The temple holds the highest royal temple grade and features intricate Jataka murals inside the sanctuary.
This is the temple with the Giant Swing in front – a peaceful gem right in the heart of the city. Despite the heat outside, the moment you step into the ordination hall, it’s incredibly calm. The murals on the inner walls are absolutely beautiful, rich with detail and history. It’s the kind of place where you could sit quietly and meditate all day. The stillness inside contrasts so beautifully with the busy world outside.

Wat Suthat in short, also known as Temple of The Giant Swing is a first-class royal temple of the Ratchaworamahawihan type, one of only a few in Thailand. It is considered the temple of the reign of King Ananda Mahidol. The iconic giant swing is located nearby the entrance of the temple. Foreigner visitors have to pay 100 thb for entrance fee. Temple was clean and serene. You’ll get a brochure when you pay at the counter. It will explain some special things about the temple. Basically the temple has 2 main halls which house to 2 different Buddha statues. The temple was so beautiful that you can take photos at every angle.

I visited during a special event and really enjoyed the temple. This is one of the historic royal temples with the famous Giant Swing right in front. There are many legends and stories connected to this place which makes it even more fascinating, especially the ghost story like tall hungry ghost. Inside, the space is beautiful and peaceful. The main ubosot or ordination hall is stunning. The wall paintings are impressive and the large Buddha statue makes the whole atmosphere feel majestic. The grass around the temple is also lovely and a great spot where people can sit, relax, and take in the surroundings. Truly worth a visit.

Wat Suthat Thepwararam is truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful temples in Bangkok. The moment you walk through the gates, you feel a sense of calm and timelessness. The temple grounds are spacious and very well maintained, with beautiful traditional architecture and an incredible sense of history. Inside the main hall, the giant bronze Buddha statue is breathtaking, and the detailed mural paintings along the walls tell fascinating stories from Buddhist teachings — it’s like stepping back in time. Unlike some of the more crowded temples in the city, Wat Suthat feels quiet and respectful. You can actually take your time to walk around, sit, and reflect without being rushed. The monks here are kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is genuinely peaceful. It’s located right next to the Giant Swing, so it’s easy to include in a walking tour around the old town area. The entrance fee is small compared to the beauty and serenity you get from the visit. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a moment of peace in busy Bangkok, Wat Suthat is absolutely worth a visit.

This is one of the most beautiful temples where I love to pay respect to Thao Vessuwan in Bangkok. The atmosphere is peaceful, especially on weekday afternoons when it’s not crowded. There are many shaded spots to rest and escape the sun. It’s also easy to get here — for those who don’t ride motorbikes service or drive, taking the MRT and walking a short distance is the most convenient option. Wishing you all good things when you visit this place. 🙏✨

The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, also known as BACC, is a contemporary arts venue that has become a focal point for the Thai art community. This modern facility offers free exhibitions featuring film, photography, and other art forms. The building's design incorporates elements of traditional Thai architecture while embracing flexibility and natural light. Visitors can explore the multi-story center at no cost and may be tempted to enjoy coffee at the Gallery Drip cafe on the ground floor.
It’s free to enter the building. There is a walkway to skywalk/National stadium station. I enjoyed walking around not only in the unique exhibits but also the shops. I found a really nice leather + wood bag but I chickened out from buying lol. But there were so many creative items to choose from from different shops. I also liked the interactive exhibit on Letting Go.

It’s an amazing center where you can delight your eyes with beautiful art. I was impressed by how they support young artists by showcasing their work. It was also enjoyable to find some great art items for sale. Both the shops and galleries were fantastic. I couldn't help but feel like there are more opportunities to make this place vibrant or more inviting. Little cold. Toilet were bad though. And the lockers were crazy old.

I visited on a weekday. Not crowded at all. Amazing exhibitions, thought invoking and beautiful space. Took the BTS to get to Bangkok Art and Culture Center which was super easy to navigate as you can enter right from the platform basically. Highly recommend others to come here and then you can enjoy shopping at Siam Paragon, Siam Square, and MBK center.

If you have extra time in Bangkok, BACC is definitely worth a visit. This was my second time here, and it’s always exciting because the exhibitions change every month, so there’s something new to experience each visit. The entrance is free, and you’ll find a wide variety of art, culture, and history beautifully showcased. A very inspiring and enriching place — highly recommended!
Gmyz — Google review
Visited there several months ago and this is definitely one of the best art compounds in Bangkok! The complex encompasses a couple of art exhibitions in different floors. Each exhibition has its own character and uniqueness. What is best about the whole experience is it is free of charge, which is great since most museums require entrance tickets. The center is well connected to the major malls around Siam BTS station such as MBK and Siam Discovery.

Even if you don't love art the building itself is quiet impressive inside. The spaces are designed to really emphasize negative space. Although not all of the displays will be to everyones taste, the gallery has contemporary and large art displays on the upper floors. Great place to spend a couple hours absorbing the meaning behind the pieces.

The Bangkok Art & Culture Centre building is very beautiful from the outside and impressive inside. That's the only good part. Honestly, I found most of the exhibits pretty boring. But the worst part was on the last floor. There were literally photos of completely naked people, and they call this art? I was shocked and disgusted. If you don't want to see nude pictures, I would avoid this place. It's a shame that such a beautiful building is filled with such disgusting and offensive content. Not my kind of art at all.

The Siriraj Medical Museum in Bangkok is a unique attraction that covers five different medical areas: parasitology, pathology, anatomy, forensics, and history. Located at the world-class Siriraj Hospital, it offers a rather macabre experience with ghoulish displays including dead bodies, mummified corpses of murderers and accident victims, genetically mutated babies floating in jars of formaldehyde, body parts, skeletons, and victims of various parasites.
Extremely impressive complex of several specialized museums, including four (general medicine, pathology, forensic, parasitology) in that very same location. Very informative, bilingual, however, I don't think general visitors should find its display interesting and appealing, as some parts of it may look pretty shocking to those far from medicine, forensic or crime investigation. Photography is strictly prohibited inside museums. My photos shown here were made from museum entrances.
V K — Google review
A little hard to review this place. It’s very informative but you need a strong stomach to go here. There is actually 3 museum and they cost 100 baht each. Free for Thai. All three museums have some interesting stuff but lots of dead bodies and babies in jars. So if you don’t mind seeing that this place is for you. It also has a bit of a hospital smell. I’ve added some pictures of the exhibit that are appropriate but not of the dead bodies inside, just be warned! Some pictures are of the other two museums, my favorite was the boat museum which has the largest wooden boat ever found underground and also no dead bodies at the boat museum
Nonthaburi C — Google review
It’s an interesting place to go, doesn’t feel commercial at all. Got to see various anatomies, pretty interesting but the only downside is that most of the descriptions are in Thai, English is available but it’s on YouTube so it’s kind of inconvenient. Instead we went around to *see* than to understand stuff around. I think it’s worth it if you don’t mind looking around and not getting to know more about it. The museum is rather small too so it can be done by within 20mins tops.
Aud G — Google review
A definite stop for those that have any interest in this amazing place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time from start to finish. Top notch educational experience for anyone interested in medicine, anatomy, forensics, or just the macabre The exhibits are deeply informative, a bit intense, and seriously one-of-a-kind. It’s not your average museum and that’s the point. You’re getting honest displays of the human body and medical history. If you have a weak stomach, find someplace else for your sensitive nature. As for the 1-star reviews? Ignore them. They’re clearly from people who either didn’t understand the complex or probably shouldn’t have visited a museum like this in the first place. Only thing of note that can be taken negatively is the lack of AC, but they have open windows and fans blowing, so if you can handle that, this is an amazing stop to add to your itinerary! Take my advice, don’t miss this if you’re nearby and have the time to do it!
Kyle M — Google review
Quite the experience seeing all the bodies with your own eyes rather than virtually through pictures or youtube. Would’ve given 5 stars if there were more English labels. 300baht for each museum (medical/historical). Definitely a place to visit when in Bangkok.

I went alone. So kind of spooky after a while. But good Thailand history. And more than enough crime documented. Right down to pictures of the deceased, and the murder weapon. Interesting, but not for everyone.
Garry B — Google review
My friend had a medical appointment at the hospital, so I decided to visit the museum while waiting for him. Paid 200 Baht which gave me access to all three (maybe it’s a special thing during COVID-19), and I spent two hours visiting everything. I enjoyed all the display of anatomical, forensic, cultural, and historical perspectives.
Emiko K — Google review
Siriraj Medical Museum is definitely one of the top museum in Thailand. If not, one of the best in South East Asia. Whether you are here for academic research or just to wonder around to kill off some time. The easiest way to reach here is via ferry (siriraj pier), opposite to tha prachan pier. As many google reviewer says, although it is quite an adventure but surely is not for the faint of heart. Please do eat before you visit the space, and definitely not for children under 15 yrs old. There are 3 museums split inside. Dont worry, the counter receptionist will guide you with a leaflet (Eng Language as well) and there are English signage from one museum to another as well. Photos are not allowed except for the Siriraj Bimuksthan Museum and the pre historic building where you can get to know more during the area within WWII. Medical students, there should cover you many aspects of medical care, theory and researches purpose. But for quite - squeamish person like myself, I still do enjoy it, but it is very disturbing when seeing corpses and trauma injuries (homicide, suicide etc) graphic visuals. There is some audio tech to assist you for Non-Thai speakers. Not too sure about "request touring" for Eng language. Would be great to have one at an additional cost. When I was there, I only witnessed Thai Speaking small group tour/walk through. Ticket Prices for Local: 80 THB Ticket Prices for Foreigners: 250 THB This is an international level museum. Truly remarkable. Worth the visit. Highly Recommend. Do check their facebook page a day before you pay a visit. Incase they, closed for covid19 pandemic etc.

Wat Pho Pier, currently under construction, offers a great free viewing spot of Wat Arun across the river. Visitors can access the pier and enjoy stunning sunset views. The area is not very spacious, so it's recommended to arrive early for a good spot for photos. Additionally, taking a tour boat from the nearby dock provides an opportunity to fully appreciate the night view of Wat Pho. In the evening, when the lights are on, it creates a beautiful ambiance with few crowds around.

Wow, the view of Wat Arun is absolutely breathtaking! The intricate details of the temple shimmer so beautifully in the sunlight, it's truly a sight to behold. I can only imagine how amazing it must be to witness this in person; the architecture is stunning. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful photo, it's a real treat to see!

Wat Pho Pier is a very convenient spot to catch a boat along the Chao Phraya River, especially if you’re visiting nearby attractions like Wat Pho, Grand Palace, or Tha Tien Market. The location makes it easy to transition between sightseeing on land and river transport without much walking. The pier area can get busy with tourists, but everything is well-organized and the signage is clear enough to navigate. Boats come frequently, so waiting time is usually short. It’s not a place to stay long, but as a transport hub, it’s efficient, practical, and offers nice views of the river while you wait. A great way to explore Bangkok from a different perspective — the waterway! 🌊🚤

I am a local resident and visited yesterday around noon with my boyfriend, who is a foreigner. At the ticket counter, there was no information provided that one section of the site would not be accessible until 1:00 p.m. Once inside, the security staff addressed tourists in an impolite manner, telling everyone they could not enter until 1:00 p.m. because students had priority. I fully understand if there are rules or schedules to follow, but it would be greatly appreciated if visitors were informed of this before purchasing tickets, or if staff could communicate the information more courteously. Please keep in mind that tourists are an important part of supporting our economy, and their experience reflects on the reputation of the place. I hope to see improvement in communication, mindset, and staff attitude in the future. 🙏🏼

The Grand Palace is an absolute must-see when exploring Bangkok, offering a stunning glimpse into Thailand's rich history and culture. This magnificent complex features intricate architecture and beautiful wall paintings, including the revered Emerald Buddha. While the entrance fee may be on the higher side for foreigners, it's well worth it to experience this iconic landmark. To make the most of your visit, arrive early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy a leisurely stroll through its pristine grounds.
Visited in early Jan 2025 for the 2nd time. Totally difference from 1993 when I visited first time. Very crowded. Excellent architecture with strong history . Very crowded but indeed Peaceful in Emerald Buddha. Visited morning to beat the crowd and heat.

Beautiful a must place for everyone to see when you are visiting Bangkok. You need to follow the dress code before you can enter the palace. Wear a shirt with sleeves and shorts or skirts must cover down to the ankle. Otherwise you will have to buy the cheap elephant pants which are between 100-150 baht or more depending where you shop. It is a holy place so please follow the dress code to all of the temples you want to visit. Go early because it is very hot in the afternoon and to avoid tourist crowds.

I’ve visited the Grand Palace twice. It’s a wonderful place, but choosing the right guide and the right time of year can make a huge difference. The first time I went, it was high season, the palace was packed with tourists, and my guide focused mostly on suggesting photo spots for Instagram. It wasn’t a great experience. The second time, I visited during low season, and there were far fewer people. I was lucky enough to meet a local police officer, part of a free guide service offered by the site management, who shared deep insights into the place and its significance for Buddhists. It was an amazing experience. In short, I recommend doing some research and finding a local guide with real knowledge and passion. That can truly transform your visit.

Great place to visit. The ticket although seems pricey but worth the view and everything else offered. Lots of things to explore inside (please do refer to the map given so as to not miss any building). Going from the main parts towards the end is a neverending photogenic space. I highly suggest the Queen Sirikit Museum still located inside the grand palace (Not many people go there because it is not on the same way towards the exit). Grab those guide papers and stamp passport at the beginning to make it more fun. No cameras allowed specifically here though. The staff is friendly and kind. Left my wallet there for almost two hours and went back with it intact with a specific plastic bag to keep it safe even. Extra performance is freely offered with a transport towards another hall but it is within scheduled time. So I don't have the chance to witness the said cultural performance. Highly suggest using an appropriate outfit. Not sure if there are any free lend clothes or skirts available.

Safari World Bangkok is a popular zoo and entertainment park in the heart of Bangkok, drawing both tourists and locals alike. This expansive 480-acre park, established in 1988, offers an immersive experience into Thailand's diverse wildlife. Divided into two sections - Marine Park and Safari Park - visitors can explore a wide range of animal habitats. The park features safari rides, marine attractions, live feedings, and thrilling stunt shows that cater to both education and entertainment.
Safari World Bangkok is an amazing place to visit and I truly loved the experience. The park has a beautiful, forest-like environment inside, which makes the whole visit feel natural and adventurous. Everything was well-organized, from the shows to the facilities, making it easy to enjoy the day. The animal shows were a highlight—well-prepared and entertaining, with animals trained to perform in a way that amazed both kids and adults. It was also exciting to see animals I had never encountered before, like capybaras, walruses, and kangaroos. The elephant show, dolphin show were very entertaining, and it was fascinating to watch lions and tigers roaming freely instead of being caged. For an extra thrill, you can take a special caged truck ride where you get to feed the lions, and they even climb onto the vehicle—an unforgettable experience! Feeding some animals requires a separate payment, but it’s worth it for the interactive fun. The food court was another great part of the visit, with plenty of choices and delicious Thai food that I really enjoyed. The only downside is that it gets very crowded. We went around 8 a.m. and still couldn’t manage to see all the shows in one day. Overall, Safari World Bangkok is a must-visit attraction for families and travelers—packed with wildlife, fun activities, and great food in a beautiful setting.

Safari World is a fun place to spend a day, especially if you enjoy animal shows and light adventure. We were able to watch the Spy War, dolphin, and sea lion shows, and each one had its own entertaining moments. The bus tour was also a nice way to see different animals up close without too much effort. One of the highlights was feeding the giraffes, which was simple but memorable. The weather was good, so lunchtime wasn’t too hot, and there were shaded spots to rest. Just be ready for a lot of walking since the park is quite wide. Overall, it’s a good experience for families and friends who want a mix of shows, animals, and easy sightseeing.

Safari World Bangkok is a fun-filled, family-friendly adventure! 🐯🦒🚗 The drive-through safari was an unforgettable experience — lions, zebras, giraffes, and more, roaming freely around your car. The Marine Park is packed with entertaining shows — from dolphins and sea lions to cowboy stunts and Hollywood action. It’s well-organized, clean, and perfect for kids and adults alike. Food options are good, and there are plenty of shady spots to relax. Highly recommended for a full day of wildlife and fun.

Our recent visit to Safari World in Bangkok, Thailand was truly a spectacular experience. The variety of animals, the well-produced shows, and the general cleanliness and organization of the park are world-class. It is clear that a tremendous amount of effort goes into maintaining the facilities and caring for the wildlife, making it a highly memorable and worthwhile family destination. Important Note on Pricing and Visitor Tip: In the interest of constructive feedback, we must specifically address the ticketing process. Buying tickets at the gate on the day of the visit is exceedingly expensive, presenting a significant and frankly discouraging barrier to entry. We strongly advise that visitors plan ahead and purchase their tickets online in advance, as they are often available for nearly half the price. This major price discrepancy between online and gate prices needs urgent review. We sincerely hope that management will review the gate pricing structure to make this incredible experience more accessible to a broader range of tourists. Thank you for providing such a wonderful day out!

We went on a group tour. Well this place is good for children and adults with 4 different shows that happen everyday (chimpangee, dolphin, sealion and elephant show). It takes you whole day. Giraffe feeding was 200 bhat each and taking a picture with eagle was 400 bhat each. We were fed indian buffet lunch(not recommended). We eneded up eating outside the buffet as it was very much unorganized. The resturants are all animal themed. The safari world is where you drive with you van or car inside a protected area. We did not enjoy it. However we got to see tiger, bear and more animals. The zoo was supercrowded as many tour groups and students from school were there when we visited. An okish experience.

We had a really great time with my family in Safari world. Kids will really enjoy it for 💯 sure. But only thing, never book with any tour operators. Due to time constraints, we need to run between shows and won't be having much time to explore around the Zoo. It's really wonderful to see how these animals are performing without any mistakes , Monkeys, Elephant, Dolphin shows will make you wonder. Zoo Safari also kinda nice experience to get, but unable to locate Lion inside

Coming from one of the best wildlife countries, it wouldn’t be fair to compare—but I must say, the safari drive was a wonderful experience. We got to see a wide range of well-kept animals, including marabou storks, ostriches, deer, wildebeest, zebras, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, lions, tigers (my first time seeing them!), and even bears. There were also colorful parrots from around the world, owls, hawks, giraffes, capybaras (the largest rodent in the world), elephants, chimpanzees, kangaroos, walruses, and countless species of fish—so many that I’m sure I missed mentioning some. One of the most moving moments for me was interacting with the orangutans—we even got to hold them and walk with them! While the entry fee covers admission and food, you need to pay extra if you want to hold certain animals and take photos, which felt a bit pricey. The park also features a number of shows. Though we missed the elephant show due to timing and the language barrier, we managed to catch the dolphin show, which was truly delightful. The included food, however, was very average and not freshly made, which was a little disappointing. On the bright side, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the toilets were despite the huge crowds. For families, the park provides carriers and prams for little ones—a must if you’re covering the entire park, as it’s quite a walk. There is also a map provided at the start, making it easier to navigate and plan your route around the park. Overall, the experience was unforgettable and absolutely lovely. The kids had a blast, and so did we!

Museum Siam, also known as the Discovery Museum, is housed in a 19th-century building and offers interactive exhibits and programs that delve into Thailand's rich history. The museum takes visitors on a journey through different periods of Thai history, from Suvarnabhumi to the present day, exploring aspects such as Buddhism and the founding of Ayutthaya. Each room features digital exhibits and video presentations that pose questions about Thai culture and provide insights into the region's history.
I’m not usually a museum person, but I actually really enjoyed my visit to Museum Siam. It’s interactive, modern, and does a great job of exploring Thai culture in a fun and engaging way. The exhibits touch on everything from traditional customs to how Thai identity has evolved over time. The museum highlights the three main pillars of the country — religion, monarchy, and nation — but it does so in a thoughtful and approachable way that doesn’t feel too heavy. I especially appreciated how hands-on many of the exhibits were — it’s definitely not a place where you just walk around reading signs. And the best part? Entry is only 100 baht! For the quality of the experience, that’s an absolute steal. Whether you're into history or just looking for something different to do in Bangkok, Museum Siam is worth a visit.

We went here on Tuesday, just a few tourists and primary students. We bought tickets for 50 baht, since we're students. The staff were all friendly and nice, though not all of them were talkative. I wasn't a big fan of history, but it was great to learn something more about my motherland ✨ This place was filled with something educational and historical to experience and learn from! Anyways, the toilets were clean!! --loved them!!

I'm glad I went to this museum. Some reviews say the exhibition is for young people, but I think it's a well curated museum to let you consider what it means to be Thai, and the evolution of the different identities of the people here. It may be simple for some people, but I thought the interactive, fun and casual exhibits help make it more immersive for you to consider the Thai identity. Also, while the exhibit may seem fun, I think it does provide some thought-provoking questions—we may think of the Thai identity as static, but this exhibition invites you to consider to different identities, and it is also willing to ask an honest question—what does it really mean to be Thai? And also, what are the origins of symbols of Thai identity and have we thought to question them?

Museum Siam is a great place to learn about Thai history and culture in a fun, modern way. The whole building is air-conditioned, which makes it very comfortable to walk around, especially on a hot day. In front of the museum, there’s an open grassy area where you can relax — they even have picnic mats you can use, which is such a nice touch! There’s also a small local coffee shop right in front that serves good drinks and snacks. The location is super convenient — the MRT station is right in front of the museum (Sanam Chai Station), so it’s very easy to get here. Definitely worth a visit whether you’re a tourist or local.

Museum Siam offers a really fun and engaging experience, especially on the second floor! The interactive activities there are a highlight and make learning about Thai culture enjoyable. The third floor, however, was a bit less captivating for me. I'd say this museum is particularly suitable for Thai people or foreigners who have lived in Thailand for at least 1-2 years and have some background knowledge of the country. It's not super in-depth on historical events, but rather focuses more on contemporary Thai culture and its roots, which is quite interesting. It takes only 1.5 - 2 hours to finish the whole place.
Thanapoom T — Google review
Perfect! It’s a simple and fun museum for people who love to take photos while learning about culture/history. Free audio guides are provided in common languages and the entrance fee is cheap at just 50THB for students. Throughout the museum, there’s opportunity for you to try costumes such as traditional Thai clothes, Thai culture event clothes and even the popular Thai high school uniform. It’s really fun and the costumes are clean. Recommend to bring your own tripod to take photos!

China Town in Bangkok is a vibrant and bustling neighborhood with a strong Chinese influence. The area is now more accessible thanks to the extension of the Metropolitan Rapid Transit subway, making it easier for visitors to explore its jammed streets and glorious enclaves. Along the Chao Phraya River, iconic developments like the Icon Siam mall and Four Seasons complex have transformed the long-neglected waterfront.
There are plenty of food options and a colorful, new experience — I’d recommend walking around if you haven’t been there yet. Although it says it’s open 24 hours, by around 11:00 PM there aren’t many people. Nearby, there’s also a well-known 10 Baht market. Since it opens at 12:00 AM, you can easily go there afterward. It’s convenient because you can also get there by public transportation. Overall, it’s a fun and convenient place to visit, especially for first-timers!

Bangkok’s Chinatown is pure magic – vibrant, loud, colorful, and absolutely full of life. It’s one of those places that hits all your senses at once – sizzling woks, neon lights, and the smell of street food in the air. You can wander for hours through the tiny alleys, discovering food stalls, markets, and hidden little shops. In the evening, when all the lights come on, it turns into something truly special – chaotic, fascinating, and so full of energy. For us, this is a must every single time we’re in Bangkok. No visit to the city would be complete without a stroll through Chinatown

To continue our day, we headed to Chinatown Bangkok (Yaowarat) one of the most iconic and vibrant places in the city. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a burst of colorful lights, bustling streets, and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly cooked food everywhere. It was truly a feast for the senses! We explored the long stretch of Yaowarat Road filled with countless food stalls, souvenir shops, and street vendors offering everything from grilled seafood to fresh fruits, desserts, and local drinks. My wife and Hazel were amazed at how lively the place was even late at night it felt like the city never sleeps! The street was packed, yet the energy and excitement made it so enjoyable. Every corner offered something new to see or taste. It’s definitely one of the must visit night markets in Bangkok if you love food and culture. Such an unforgettable experience walking through the glowing neon signs and soaking up the authentic atmosphere of Chinatown. 🦐🍢🏮✨

Very interesting place, a must visit when you're in Bangkok! There are all the usual things of a street market, food, clothing whatever you can imagine. We tried some roast duck and it was really delicious! Also sat in for a foot massage with fish! Super fun, also a must try! And I especially loved to see many old two-stroke Vespas that are used as work horses. There are many in this part of the city! Two thumbs up!

Definitely worth a visit. I’ve been to Chinatown during the day and it’s already very lively, but the evening is especially great. Lots of food, drinks, fresh street snacks, and a really nice atmosphere. It can get quite crowded, and just be aware that some street stalls can charge higher tourist prices
Marce J — Google review
Chinatown has a vibe like no other! I've been to New York City and Mexico City. Even though I love both for different reasons, Chinatown wins hands down for the food alone! If you're a foodie and love Thai food, this is the place to be. You can get a meal, on average, for 200-400 Thai Baht. That's equivalent to $6-$12 USD. I've been there during the day and night. However, I highly recommend nightime for the true experience! They usually set up around 5-6 pm and remain open until midnight. Take a tuk-tuk ride to get there or when you get there. It's an unbelievable experience. Make sure you ask "how much" BEFORE you get in and ALWAYS negotiate the price! Big tip: walk away when they give you a price and (most of the time) they will lower it. If they don't, there's always another one and after asking one or two, you will have a good idea of how much it should cost!
Erica R — Google review
Bangkok’s Chinatown hits harder than a Canucks power play in overtime — pure sensory overload, in the best way possible. Yaowarat Road at night is like East Van’s night market after a triple espresso: neon buzzing, woks blazing, and the air thick with soy, sugar, and temptation. The whole strip hums like it’s alive — a technicolour artery pulsing with sound, smoke, and sizzle. We dove head-first into the chaos — fried pork belly crispier than a Whistler morning, squid grilled to buttery perfection, and scorpions that snapped back like they knew their fate. Candied grapes sparkled like Gastown lights after a rain shower, sweet and sticky enough to make your dentist twitch. Every bite was a dare, every stall a story. There’s no Michelin-star plating here — just plastic stools, cracked pavement, and unfiltered flavour that smacks you right in the palate. The vibe? Controlled mayhem — locals bartering, tourists filming, and the odd cat weaving through the madness like it owns the place (because it does). Chinatown isn’t just dinner; it’s a full-blown culinary rock concert. Every sense gets tuned to eleven. You don’t walk away full — you roll away grinning, glazed, and gloriously food-drunk on Bangkok’s electric charm.
MIke A — Google review
It's always fun visiting Chinatown in major cities. We've seen some (e.g. NYC, SF, Melbourne, London). This one - even though I've been in Bangkok some times - I haven't visited yet. Until now. Took a boat up-river and got out at the "Ratchawong" station. Just a short Tuk-Tuk ride away from Chinatown. Most of the action is right on Yaowarat Road. It's loud, it's busy. It's hustling and bustling. Endless restaurants, shops and food stalls. And all the traffic as well. It's bright, it's colourful. And it's pretty much fun! Don't miss out on some more interesting side streets as well. But: The quality of food and restaurants really is very mixed here. You can get some cheap and cheerful meal. But there were some other stalls we've tried that were underwhelming at best. But as a whole experience Chinatown is a fun thing to do. On Soi Yaowarat (side street) you find some cheaper and more exotic stuff. Also some fried insects, spiders and scorpions. Which is more of a tourist thing. But if you're into that... A place I'd recommend is "Seng Shark' Fin" right in the middle at the main road of Yaowarat. We didn't eat Sharks Fin (I'd never do that), but they have great dishes on their menu. Fish Maw soup was delicous. It might sound a bit adventurous, but is actually very very good. A main ingredient is the dried fish swim bladder. Try it before you judge it - I loved it. From all the areas we've been in the past days, Chinatown was the one with clearly the most international visitors. I wouldn't come here every day. But once every trip to Bangkok for sure.

Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute is a unique zoo and education center in Bangkok, Thailand. It houses 35 species of snakes, including venomous varieties, and offers captivating demonstrations. The institute also provides affordable vaccinations, with around 50 people queuing up daily for this service. Visitors are impressed by the well-maintained lush surroundings and the variety of snakes in habitat-like enclosures. The museum on the second floor is described as fascinating and well-curated.
I'm from Canada. I came here, at the immunization and travel clinic, during my trip in SE Asia to get vaccins. The clinic is really well organized, cheaper than other clinics I checked in Bangkok, services are really fast. Be careful, cash only. And after being vaccinated, you can eat at the small restaurant (after the gate "snake farm"). Really good food with good prices.

I was expecting a tacky touristy place in the Snake Farm it was not that! Beautifully lush and well maintained area with a variety of snakes in habitat like enclosures. A good number of the snakes were moving around and watched as a cobra moved around and flared its hood. There are clean toilets. The museum on the 2nd floor is well curated and fascinating. Room for it to grow as it can. And the venom extracting demonstration at 11:00 AM (M-F) blew my mind! Watching these young men handle cobras and extract their venom was crazy and fascinating! Very well worth the 200 baht for a tourist!

Got a vaccine here, I received great service and the price of the vaccine was honest and reasonable, other clinics tried to charge me more than double for the same vaccine. You need to bring your passport so don’t forget it and the location to get vaccines is at the back of the hospital through a courtyard.

Their nurses are poorly trained. One nurse in rabies room never changes her gloves or sanitizes her hands. Another one changed her gloves and sanitized them, but she did intradermal rabies injection incorrectly. There is an instruction on WHO website, there should blebs. But after my injections, there were no blebs. She even shook the vaccine bottle while getting it out which is forbidden. In general, the place is unhygienic. They use the same stand for new and used syringes, so when they put a needle back into its cover cup, she touches this stand with that contaminated needle. I wonder if hepatitis C can be spread like that. Furthermore, because they did injections incorrectly, I had to make an expensive rabies antibodies test for 5.000 baht. However, since I left Thailand three weeks ago, I have not received any results to my email, and I cannot contact them in any way. I finally got the result after almost three weeks, but it was stressful. The result was ready on December 24th, but I only received it on January 6th, so if I had low levels of antibodies, I would miss the booster time. They’re so irresponsible.

It houses the revered Emerald Buddha, which was brought from Laos in the 18th century. The temple is part of a vast compound that includes the former residence of Thai monarchs and spans over 94.5 hectares with more than 100 buildings representing royal history and architectural innovation.
The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, located within the Grand Palace complex, is one of the most beautiful and spiritually rich places in Bangkok. The entrance fee is 500 Baht, which gives access to both the temple and the Grand Palace — a fair price for the experience you get. The architecture is absolutely stunning, with intricate gold work, colorful murals, and traditional Thai design that reflects centuries of craftsmanship and devotion. The Emerald Buddha itself is quite small but deeply revered. Though photography is not allowed inside the hall, the spiritual atmosphere is strong and calming. The surrounding temple buildings and statues are equally impressive and worth exploring in detail. The entire area is clean, organized, and well-preserved. There’s a strict dress code, so make sure to wear long pants and sleeves, or you’ll have to rent clothes before entering. Despite the crowds, the management is efficient, and the visit feels peaceful. Plan to spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours here to take everything in. A must-visit landmark that beautifully blends history, religion, and royal heritage. Don’t leave Bangkok without seeing it!

A wonderful temple complex! Very well maintained, because it is the religious place of the royal family. All the buildings are amazingly decorated, in bright colors, with extraordinary meticulousness. It looks like the palaces from childhood stories. Very crowded, rigorous control at the entrance, with scanners and military personnel. You need about 60-90 minutes to visit it, together with the Royal Palace (this is only the outside)

Wat Phra Kaew – Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Bangkok One of the most sacred and stunning temples in Thailand! 🌟 Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) is located within the Grand Palace complex and is truly breathtaking. The temple houses the famous Emerald Buddha, and the intricate details on the walls, roofs, and statues are mesmerizing. Entrance fee to the Grand Palace is 500 THB, and modest clothing is required — shoulders and knees must be covered. Sarongs are provided if needed. 🧥 The temple is very clean and well maintained. Photography is allowed in most areas, but respectful behavior is mandatory. 💡 Tip: Visit early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Don’t miss the chance to admire the golden decorations and murals telling Thai legends.

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is one of the most stunning and spiritually significant places to visit in Bangkok. The moment you enter the complex, the level of craftsmanship and detail is breathtaking. The golden structures, intricate mosaics, and beautifully maintained grounds make the entire area feel special and deeply meaningful. The Emerald Buddha itself is much smaller than I expected but still beautiful. The atmosphere inside the temple is quiet, respectful, and serene, giving you a moment to pause and appreciate its cultural and religious importance. Even with many visitors, the environment still feels calm and well managed. The complex is spotless, well organized, and easy to navigate. Staff are present to guide guests and ensure the dress code is followed, which helps maintain the dignity of the space. It is worth taking your time here because every corner has something beautiful to see. Overall, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha is a must-visit landmark in Bangkok. It is visually stunning, historically rich, and offers a peaceful experience right in the heart of the city. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to appreciate Thailand’s spiritual and artistic heritage.

One of the most impressive temples in Thailand and an absolute must-see in Bangkok. The architecture, detail, and atmosphere are breathtaking. It can get very crowded, so it’s best to visit early in the morning. Despite the crowds, the experience is unforgettable and truly showcases the beauty of Thai culture and craftsmanship.
Nicolas — Google review
A breathtaking temple complex. The whole area has incredible buildings, some are not open to the public but you can still walk around them and enjoy the facades and architecture. Like any other Buddhist temple you need to take your shoes off to visit the Emerald Buddha which is magnificent.
JUAN F — Google review
Interesting. Very crowded with tourists but still beautiful and well kept. Happy to have been there but if you can try and choose a time to avoid the crowds. Also, no shade. So on a sunny day take an umbrella and plenty of water 💧
Richard K — Google review
A very stunning layout with immersive history all around. Definitely recommend coming here early(opens at 8:30) to avoid the crowd ( we reached at 10am and it was packed like a can or sardines!). You should either get a guide or an audio guide headphone which was 200 bhat per device (more detailed and probbaly accurate and you can listen in your pace), but you'll need to hand over your passport or credit card as a tourist - scary but we were able to collect it back immediately at the exit from the designated return point. To completely explore the temple is a solid 1 hour journey with the audio listening. Or more. Minus the heat and crowd it would have been even more pleasant, but that helped us move quicker to the exit in search of respite from the nauseating crowd. The return on the audio guide is also timed to 1.5hrs or we'd have to pay extra. The temple and it's surrounding structures is 100% visit and was mesmerizing even under the blistering sun.

The Snake Farm is a captivating tourist destination that offers both entertainment and education. Operated by the Queen Saovabha Institute, this complex features an exhibition area with 35 species of living snakes, a 100-seat arena for venom extraction, a museum showcasing snake evolution and toxicology, as well as a research center and outdoor serpentarium. Visitors can enjoy interactive demonstrations in the indoor museum and witness thrilling live handling shows where keepers interact with some of the world's most poisonous snakes.
We attended the Cobra milking show in the morning. What a great experience for my children and myself. As we live in Thailand and have encountered both non-venomous and cobras at our home we left the show with further knowledge about the snakes and should the unfortunate happen and someone is bitten the proper first aid treatments. The snake museum is a top-notch exhibit not only for displays but many of its interactive activities. The current Snake Farm has undergone a huge improvement over the first time I was here 30 years ago
Robert K — Google review
While this attraction has great information for you, the hours are not the best. They have one show time per day, and the snakes aren't really active. I noticed inactivity from indoor and outdoor snakes. The snakes who were active seemed to be testing the boundaries of their tanks. Inside had signs up for no video. The museum was very educational and you can learn a good bit about snakes. There are very impressive skins and skeletons on display. You can get some pretty cool pics. I think I enjoyed the inside museum more than the outside portion. Outside was very hot without mush offered for cooling and the snakes were all hidden and sleep. Though it was a bit fun trying to find where the snakes were hiding. If you like or love snakes then come visit here.

We visited the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (Snake Farm) in Bangkok, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We arrived around 11 o’clock, just in time to watch the team carefully extract venom from the monocled cobras — an incredible thing to witness up close. Everyone there was kind, calm, and clearly knew what they were doing. We spent some time walking around the exhibits, grabbed a bite to eat nearby, and came back at 2 pm for the snake show. It was fascinating. I’ll admit I’m a little afraid of snakes, so I wasn’t completely relaxed, but the staff explained everything so clearly that even I could enjoy it. The kids were amazed, and we all left smiling. A genuinely unique and memorable experience — educational, friendly, and well worth visiting.

Very cool and informative farm. Set half outdoors and half indoors with a fair bit of variety of snakes to look at and learn about. Not a very big place but I was quite happy with my experience. They have a little show at 11am on weekends and 2pm on weekdays where the handlers bring out snakes one by one while a vet tells you all about the snake in both English and Thai. 🐍

Amazing experience! Never visited a snake farm and its well worth it! They have various species with lots of explanation. You don’t wanna miss the exhibition which happen to be at 11am on Sundays (different during the week)! It is intense but for those who like this type of activity will enjoy for sure!

Snakes give me the Willie’s but this place is great. The shows are exciting and fun to watch and there are many snakes exhibited. It’s in old buildings with modern interior and there are both outdoor snake pits and indoor exhibits. The venom milking and snake presentations and interactions with experienced handlers is really special. And you can. Hold snakes too… not me tho :)

Museums
MOCA Bangkok, or the Museum of Contemporary Art, is a modern space showcasing an extensive collection of traditional and contemporary Thai art. The museum was established through the private collection of businessman Boonchai Bencharongkul, featuring works by renowned Thai artists as well as emerging talents. In addition to its impressive art displays, MOCA Bangkok also houses a comprehensive collection of Thai banknotes.
What a great art museum! Not huge, but a well-curated collection with diverse themes and mediums. Spent a very enjoyable 2 hours here. The works by Thai artists in particular was very impressive - my mind was just blown away by the creativity and imagination on display, as well as the incredible technical skill and talent. Not forgetting the architecture and decor of the museum itself. Highly recommend!! When I left the museum cafe was doing a bustling business - I didn't stop for lunch but the food looked great.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Bangkok is truly impressive. The building itself is beautifully designed, and the collections cover a wide range of Thai contemporary art. Each floor offers something different, from paintings to sculptures, all well-curated and thoughtfully displayed. The atmosphere is calm, spacious, and perfect for enjoying art at your own pace. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean and modern. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the richness of Thai creativity.

Amazing museum worth every penny. Can easily spend all day here, lots to see across many floors. Nice cafe too drinks are reasonably priced. We used Bolt taxi to get there, short wait finding a driver to bring us back during peak times.
Harpreet S — Google review
I visited MOCA Bangkok on a weekday and had a really great experience. There was no waiting time at all, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The entrance fee was around 300 baht (if I remember correctly), and it was definitely worth it. The collection is impressive — a wonderful mix of contemporary Thai and international artworks. I could take my time and really enjoy every piece. The museum itself is very comfortable, clean, and well-designed. There are plenty of chairs around, so if you get tired walking through the galleries, you can easily sit down and rest for a while. There’s also a museum store where you can buy some nice merchandise and souvenirs, and a café where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee after exploring. Overall, it’s a great place to spend a few quiet hours appreciating art. Highly recommended if you’re in Bangkok and love modern art!
Debbi H — Google review
I'm so mad that no one told me how great the moca is. Great historical and modern art. FLOORS AND FLOORS of it. Also if you love liminal spaces or just really amazing lighting for a photoshoot, this place has you covered. Well worth the price of admission. Tons of the legendary Thai artists are also present here. Do yourself a big favor and bring your art loving self or loved ones for half a day at this museum
Kevin K — Google review
The museum is worth the visit and i have no idea why I kept putting it off for so long. It is a 5 floor building with a great design. The works of art are worth contemplation and it is very easy to navigate the exhibitions. There was no wait but there were other guests. There are lifts and escalators which means anybody with limited ability can enjoy the museum. Toilets are available at each floor. You get to learn about Thai artists and appreciate their artistic paths. The tickets as advertised cost 300 or 150 if discounts are applied. Payments made in cash or by card. No food or drinks are allowed as mentioned on the website. Bags are left in the deposit. The staff were kind and informative. Overall, a great visit and you will enjoy it if you would like to learn about Asian art. If you have any questions, check the museums FAQ section before coming. Ps. Some reviewers miss the point. One mentioned staff were rude and only smiling people should be employed. With that logic, perhaps Thailand should only allow tourists who are courteous, kind, polite… and obviously fast 😉. Enjoy your visit.
Kasia H — Google review
One of the best surprises in Bangkok. The building itself is beautiful and full of light, and the collection gives a great overview of modern and contemporary Thai art – from huge, detailed paintings to sculptures and more experimental pieces. You can easily spend a few hours here wandering through the floors without feeling rushed or crowded. What I really liked is how calm and well organised everything is. The spaces are quiet, air-conditioned and very well maintained, with clear signage and friendly staff. It’s a perfect break from the chaos of the city and a must-visit if you’re even slightly interested in art or design. Totally worth the trip and the ticket price.
Tony S — Google review
An impressive museum with beautiful hand painted pictures. I was fascinated by the colours and details of each painting. The history and description behind of each art was great. Loved the air-conditioned, calm and quite place. Last level with modern art was very uninteresting. A tiny bit far away from the city centre but recommendable!

Srinagarindra Train Night Market, also known as Talad Dek Neaw or the "hipsters" market, is a bustling outdoor night market located behind Seacon Square. It offers a wide variety of items such as antiques, vintage memorabilia, furniture, clothing, cameras, and instruments. With over 2000 stalls and the largest collection of antiques in Thailand, this market is a must-visit for those looking for funky and retro finds.
Hands down one of the best night markets in Bangkok. It offers pretty much everything you’re looking for. From mouth watering street foods, bars, restaurants, tattoo parlors, nail parlors and etc. it basically has something to offer for every type of person. The best part of this place is the insanely huge thrift market at the back end. Amazing collection of clothes. You can easily spend a good 3-4 hours easily roaming this market.
Chojy K — Google review
The Srinagarindra Train Night Market, also known as Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin, offers a unique and authentic Bangkok experience, distinct from the more touristy markets. It's a massive open-air bazaar that is particularly famous for its vintage and retro atmosphere. The food scene at Srinagarindra is one of its biggest draws. You'll find a massive section dedicated to food stalls and restaurants offering a huge selection of local Thai cuisine. It's a great place to try a wide variety of dishes, including: Classic Thai street food: Pad Thai, curries, and various grilled meats. Seafood: An incredible array of fresh seafood, from grilled prawns and salted-grilled fish to unusual snacks like crispy shrimp heads. Unique dishes: Look out for oversized portions of noodle soup, various fried insects for the adventurous eater, and a wide selection of Thai desserts.
Gretchen C — Google review
One of my absolute favorite night markets in Bangkok. The atmosphere here is just perfect fewer tourists and a lot more locals, hanging out, eating, and enjoying the evening. You really feel the real Bangkok vibe here. There’s tons of food, from classic Thai street dishes to creative little snacks it’s the kind of place where you just keep tasting everything. Add live music, small cozy bars, and lots of second-hand corners, and it becomes the perfect mix. What makes it special are the old cars, vintage décor, and real flea-market finds instead of cheap souvenir stuff you often see elsewhere. Everything feels a bit improvised, but that’s exactly the charm of it. It’s a wonderful combination of food, music, nostalgia, and local life. If you want to experience Bangkok beyond the touristy markets, this is definitely the place. Best time to visit: Friday or Saturday night, when everything is fully alive. 👉 In short: authentic, lively, and full of character. A must-see for anyone who wants to feel the real Bangkok.

The Train Night Market, known locally as Talad Rot Fai, is one of Bangkok’s most iconic and vibrant night markets. Located behind Seacon Square on Srinakarin Road, this sprawling market offers a perfect blend of street food, vintage shopping, and local culture. Unlike tourist-heavy spots, Talad Rot Fai has a laid-back, authentic vibe that appeals to both locals and curious travelers. What makes this market stand out is its diverse mix of offerings. You’ll find rows of stalls selling vintage clothing, retro home decor, antiques, and handmade accessories. For collectors and fashion hunters, it’s a goldmine of unique finds. The food scene is equally impressive—think grilled meats, seafood, spicy salads, Thai desserts, and fun oversized dishes perfect for sharing. Bars with live music, quirky container-style cafés, and open-air seating areas give the market a festival-like atmosphere. The energy picks up after 7 PM, and the place truly comes alive with music, lights, and the delicious aroma of street food. Getting there requires a taxi or Grab ride, as it’s not directly accessible by BTS, but the experience is well worth the effort. It’s best to bring cash and arrive with an empty stomach and a sense of adventure. In short, Train Night Market is more than just a market—it’s a cultural experience, offering a fun, flavorful, and visually rich night out in Bangkok. A must-visit for anyone looking to dive into the city’s true street culture.

It was definitely the best night market I’ve visited so far in Bangkok! Very, very cheap, with lots of great and affordable food, and many inexpensive things to buy. I purchased many items and tried so much food. It’s far from the city center, but I went with a friend and a Grab ride cost us only 200 Bhat — so cheap! You should try the leng (beef tendon) and ribs. If you want to buy new or vintage things like clothes, shoes, and more, I think this is the cheapest place. 8,8/10. Train Night Market Srinagarindra is honestly one of the coolest places to hang out the whole market is packed with energy, tons of food stalls, clothing shops, vintage finds, and just endless things to explore. The vibe is super lively, and everywhere you walk there’s something new catching your eye. One of the highlights for me was this anime art pancake stall where the pancakes are insanely detailed and look exactly like the characters; mine looked so good I barely wanted to eat it, and it actually tasted amazing too. It’s such a fun spot to wander, snack, shop, and just soak in the atmosphere you can easily spend hours there and still not see everything.

Awesome night market, spread over a vast area and has everything for everyone. There’s plenty of food and drink options. It’s also a shoppers paradise for clothes, footwear, vintage art, leather goods and much more. There are many Instagram friendly spots to get your photos. Food options are good too with grills, juices, restaurants serving different cuisines. Restaurants also have live music playing and so over the weekend the place gets really crowded around 8 pm. Lot of parking but only if you get here by 7 pm after which it gets busy!

It holds the title of being Asia's largest water theme park and offers an array of attractions including wave pools, exhilarating slides like the 7-story-high Speed Slider and the twisting Super Spiral, and even a simulated wave rider at Flowhouse.
Amazing Experience at Siam Amazing Park! We visited last week and had a fantastic time! The park is perfect for families and friends. The water park was super fun — the wave pool is huge and enjoyable. We also loved the thrilling rides in the amusement zone, especially the roller coasters! 🎢 Everything was well maintained, staff were helpful, and food options were decent. It was a day full of fun, excitement, and great memories. Highly recommended if you're in Bangkok and want to enjoy a full day of adventure!

Today I visited Siam Amazing Park, one of the largest amusement and water parks in Bangkok, and it was truly a fun-filled experience. The park is very big and has a mix of thrilling rides, family attractions, and a massive water park. The amusement rides were exciting, especially the roller coasters and high-speed attractions which gave an adrenaline rush. For families and kids, there are gentler rides and themed areas that are perfect for spending time together. The water park was a highlight, especially the giant wave pool and long water slides—it was refreshing in the Bangkok heat. The pools were clean and well maintained, and lifeguards were attentive. Food options inside the park were decent, with a variety of Thai snacks, fast food, and drinks to keep you energized throughout the day. ✨ Overall, Siam Amazing Park is a great place to enjoy with friends or family. It offers both relaxation and adventure in one spot. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok who wants a mix of thrill and fun.

Siam Amazing Park really lives up to its name — it was absolutely amazing! My friends and I had such a fantastic time there. From the fun rides to the relaxing atmosphere, everything was just perfect. We laughed so much and made such great memories! The buffet was another highlight — so delicious and full of variety. Everything tasted fresh and really satisfying after all the excitement. What touched me the most was the kindness of the staff. I accidentally lost my spectacles during our visit, and they not only found them but also sent them back to me by post, carefully wrapped. I was honestly so impressed and grateful for how thoughtful and professional they were. It’s rare to find a place that’s both this fun and this caring. Highly recommend Siam Amazing Park to anyone looking for an unforgettable day out!

The new pirate ship zone is very exciting and the kids loved it! Some areas look a bit old, but it seems they’re gradually improving them. The food inside is tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for families to relax and enjoy a full day of fun with kids.

Amazing Park in Bangkok offers an exciting blend of amusement and water attractions, making it a great destination for families and thrill-seekers. The park featuree-pumping rides like the Vortex, one of Southeast Asia’s longest inverted roller coasters, the high-speed Boomerang, and the towering Giant Drop. Water lovers can enjoy the world’s largest wave pool, certified by Guinness World Records, along with thrilling slides like the 7-story Speed Slide, twisting Super Spiral, and the relaxing Siam Lagoon and flowing pool. While the park provides excellent value with relatively short queues and affordable pricing, some facilities show signs of aging, and a few rides may be occasionally closed for maintenance. Nonetheless, Siam Amazing Park remains a fun and memorable outing, especially on weekdays when it's less crowded, offering a unique mix of roller coasters, splash zones, and record-breaking water features.

The waterpark wasn’t as fun as the one we used to visit a few years ago, but the other rides were just as enjoyable as those we’ve tried before. The weather was perfect, and overall, we had a really great experience. I tried a few rides, and since we went on a weekday, there were fewer people—and best of all, no lines at all for the rides! The buffet was also a highlight, with plenty of options and even ice cream. The only downside was having to walk back to the entrance, which was a bit inconvenient.

Vimanmek Mansion, a stunning golden teakwood mansion built in 1900 by Thai King Rama V, is now a museum housing his personal art and photographs. Once a royal residence, it was left empty for decades before being renovated and opened to the public in 1982. The museum showcases ancient artifacts and donated photographs from His Majesty the King. Visitors can explore the regal bedrooms, throne room, and other parts of the mansion that still hold the king's possessions.
A decade ago, I took my parents to explore this magnificent palace. Constructed from the largest golden teak wood in the world, it is the first permanent throne established by King Chulalongkorn, graciously located within the Dusit Palace grounds. The intricate carvings and exquisite craftsmanship of the palace left us in awe, each detail telling stories of a rich cultural heritage and royal grandeur. As we wandered through its opulent halls, the warm glow of the teak wood enveloped us, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance. We marvelled at the blend of traditional Thai architecture and European influences, a testament to the visionary spirit of the king who sought to modernize his kingdom. In the gardens surrounding the palace, fountains danced under the sunlight, and vibrant flowers painted the landscape with vivid hues. The serenity of the setting offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling city beyond the palace gates. My parents were particularly taken by the history that seemed to whisper from every corner, providing a glimpse into a world of regal splendor and historical significance. This trip became a cherished memory, not only for the beauty we witnessed but also for the shared experience of discovering a piece of history together. It was a journey through time that deepened our appreciation for the art, culture, and legacy of this remarkable place.

I've read some of the most recent reviews and I have to say that all staff we came in contact with appeared friendly. There were more tour groups than individuals so that something you may want to keep in mind. The architecture of the building was pretty amazing. I wish we could of had full access to see all the grounds because from the inside it looked beautiful. I have to say if you don't take a tour you're going to be pretty clueless when walking from room to room. There isn't signage telling you the name of the room or what it's use was. There is signage explaining the many pictures hanging on the walls. Finally, be sure to wear long pants when you make a visit. If you don't, you'll have to purchase a covering for 100 baht. They'll also make you lock up your camera or mobile phone in in one of the lockers.

The Royal Barges National Museum, located near the Grand Palace in Bangkok, is a hangar museum that showcases elaborately carved ceremonial barges used in royal processions. Situated within the grounds of the 18th Century Wang Na Palace, this museum holds the largest collection of Thai art and artifacts.
Kind of a must see in Bangkok. The barges are truly beautiful and impressive. I have visited them many a time over 45 years and each time their beauty excites me to visit. Getting there by land not that easy but it is doable. You need to enter a Navy base and the guards will direct you to a gate and a path to the barges. They only display the major barges in the museum with the support barges housed on the other side of the road one uses to enter the navy base. They don’t let you wander about but you can see them.

Wonderful Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Royal Barges. Magnificent craftsmanship. The museum does a nice job explaining each barge and what it was used for in various ceremonies. Each barge is numbered starting from the entry point. The number matches the plaque next to each barge. The museum offers many exhibits and pictures that explain the royal barges, their construction, and how they were manned. There are ceremonial uniforms, musical instruments and other objects used aboard the barges. There is a fleet of models assembled as they would be in the river during a major celebration such as a coronation. A truly remarkable display. Spend the time to read the exhibits and slowly walk around each barge. My visit took about 1.5 hours plus to really enjoy the museum. The staff at the museum is very nice and polite. My ticket costs 100 baht. Pictures only, no video. A worthwhile visit in Bangkok.

A small but fascinating museum. There are several barges (about 8-10) that are extraordinarily beautifully made and decorated. There are also several display cases with ceremonial uniforms worn by the barges crews. You need less than an hour to visit it. It is quite difficult to get to it, passing through a poor neighborhood of Bangkok, with some strange streets. But it is worth the visit!

My father came to visit us in Thailand. He told me stories of when he was stationed Thailand with the US Air Force. He remembers seeing the Kings Barges when he was here between 1964 and 1974. They were beautiful boats/Barges. I am glad we had the experience to see these boats up close.

Not as big as we thought but worth a visit. The barges are amazing with all the gold trim and mirrored mosaic glass. Good to learn that the processions are ongoing as they would be a fantastic sight on the river with everyone in national costume. You can get a ferry there or an easy walk if you're staying in the Dusit area.

🌟 Travel Review: Royal Barges National Museum, Bangkok 🇹🇭 Tucked away along the banks of Bangkok Noi Canal, the Royal Barges National Museum is a hidden gem that offers a rare glimpse into Thailand’s regal history and exquisite craftsmanship. The museum houses a stunning collection of royal barges, which are traditionally used in royal ceremonies on the Chao Phraya River. The highlight is undoubtedly the Suphannahong Royal Barge, an elaborately carved vessel gilded in gold and adorned with mythical figures from Thai folklore. Each barge is a masterpiece, reflecting centuries of Thai art, culture, and royal tradition. Standing before these massive boats, you can’t help but be awestruck by the detail and symbolism that go into every inch of their construction. 📸 Perfect for history lovers, culture enthusiasts, and photographers alike, the museum is well-organized and informative. English descriptions accompany the displays, and you can even watch a short documentary on the royal barge procession, which is both majestic and deeply spiritual. ⸻ 🚗 How to Get There: There are several ways to reach the Royal Barges National Museum: 1. By Taxi/Grab: Simply search for “Royal Barges National Museum” in Google Maps. It’s located in the Bangkok Noi district, across the river from the Grand Palace. Taxi or Grab is the most convenient if you’re short on time. 2. By Boat: Take the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Wang Lang (Siriraj) Pier. From there, you can either walk (about 15–20 minutes) or take a short tuk-tuk ride. 3. By Public Transport + Walking: Take the MRT (Blue Line) to Bang Khun Non Station, then grab a motorbike taxi or walk (around 20 minutes). ⸻ 🕒 Opening Hours: Daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Closed on public holidays) 💵 Entrance Fee: • Thai Citizens: THB 30 • Foreigners: THB 100 (Additional fee applies for photography) ⸻ Final Verdict: This is a must-visit for anyone wanting to understand the grandeur of Thai royal traditions. It’s peaceful, educational, and visually breathtaking — a true off-the-beaten-path experience in Bangkok!

Small museum but boat are well kept. About 200 baht pp for the entrance. The path to get there is a little hidden just for your info but shortly after passing a pedestrian “bridge” you are almost there. Can get there by boat apparently but I have done that.

It is a good place to learn about Naval culture and Thai culture here especially if you like ship/barge used for river/shallow canal. Also for lovers of handcraft, this is a place for you to see different kinds of handcraft - wood carving, hand drawn ornaments, stitching work, etc

The Giant Swing, also known as Sao Ching Cha, is a prominent landmark in Bangkok standing in City Hall square. It was originally erected in 1784 as part of the adjacent Devasathan, a Brahmin compound of shrines. This 21-meter tall scarlet frame overlooks the 19th-century Buddhist temple and was once used for a daring ceremony where men would swing to grab pouches of coins.
Very Beautiful Bangkok iconic at Sao Chingcha. We are here for the Squid game event… Recommended to come with public transport. But if you come by car still plenty of parking around with fee around 50฿ per hour. A lot of local food with local price…

Giant swing puts you in a great spot to see a lot of Bangkok plus tourist areas. There’s alot more to this swing than what you see. During the early morning. A gigantic outdoor food market is in full swing no pun intended. If you see the swing. You are close to some of the best “on the street” street food. You can get everything and a thing.

The Giant Swing (Sao Ching Cha) is an iconic, nearly 90-foot tall red teak structure in Bangkok, Thailand, located in front of Wat Suthat temple. Built in 1784 during King Rama I's reign for a Brahmin ceremony called Triyampawai, the swing was used by men to swing high to grab a bag of coins. Although no longer used for rituals due to safety concerns and deaths, it remains a significant symbol of Bangkok's cultural heritage and a popular tourist landmark.

One of Bangkok landmarks with some interesting history behind it. Right next to temple and only a 10 minute walk from King Rama statue. So you can make a outing of it.

🛕 The Giant Swing (Sao Chingcha) – Bangkok’s Majestic Landmark Steeped in History Standing tall and crimson against the blue Bangkok sky, the Giant Swing (Sao Chingcha) is one of the city’s most iconic and historically significant landmarks. Located right in front of Wat Suthat Thepwararam, this soaring red structure is more than just a photo stop — it’s a fascinating symbol of Bangkok’s deep cultural and spiritual roots. 📜 A Glimpse Into the Past The Giant Swing was originally built in 1784, during the reign of King Rama I, and was once used in an ancient Brahmin (Hindu) ceremony called Triyampavai-Tripavai. The ritual, held to honor the Hindu god Shiva, involved young men swinging high into the air on the structure to try and grab a bag of coins tied to a pole — a symbolic act representing the god’s visit to Earth. It was both thrilling and dangerous, and after several fatal accidents, the ceremony was eventually discontinued in the 1930s. Despite the end of the ritual, the Giant Swing remains a powerful reminder of Bangkok’s blended spiritual traditions, where Hindu and Buddhist influences coexist harmoniously. It’s a rare and beautiful piece of cultural history standing proudly in the heart of the modern city. 🏛️ Visiting the Site The Swing is located in the Phra Nakhon District, near Wat Suthat, one of Bangkok’s most impressive temples. The area itself is calm yet full of life — surrounded by small shops, food stalls, and colonial-style buildings that capture the charm of old Bangkok. The Giant Swing itself is breathtaking up close. Its bright red teakwood structure, set against the backdrop of the temple and the busy intersection, makes it one of the most photogenic spots in the city. Whether you visit in the early morning for peace and soft light or in the evening when the red pillars glow warmly under the setting sun, it’s a scene that feels timeless. 🙏 What to Do Nearby After admiring the Swing, it’s well worth exploring Wat Suthat just a few steps away. The temple is home to one of Thailand’s largest bronze Buddha statues and features exquisite murals depicting scenes from Buddhist cosmology. Inside the complex, you’ll often find locals praying or monks chanting — a serene contrast to the lively streets outside. You can also stroll through nearby Dinso Road and Bamrung Muang, where traditional shops sell monk robes, religious artifacts, and amulets. There are plenty of small cafés and street food stalls nearby, perfect for grabbing an iced coffee or a bowl of noodles while soaking up the local atmosphere. 📸 Tips for Visitors Best time to visit: Early morning or late afternoon for softer light and fewer crowds. Dress code: Respectful clothing is recommended if you plan to enter Wat Suthat. Entrance fee: Visiting the Swing is free; Wat Suthat has a small entrance fee (around 20–30 THB). Getting there: Easily reached by taxi or tuk-tuk from central Bangkok, or a short walk from the Democracy Monument. 🌟 Final Thoughts The Giant Swing is more than just a structure — it’s a symbol of Bangkok’s spirit, resilience, and cultural harmony. While it may no longer be used for its original purpose, it continues to inspire awe and curiosity among visitors from all over the world. If you want to experience a side of Bangkok that combines history, spirituality, and vibrant city life all in one stop, the Giant Swing and Wat Suthat are absolutely worth adding to your itinerary.

🏛️ Giant Swing (Sao Ching Cha) 📍 Location: In front of Wat Suthat Thepphawararam, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok — directly across from Bangkok City Hall. 📏 Height: About 21.15 meters, made of massive teak wood. 🕰️ History: • Built in 1784 during the reign of King Rama I. • Originally used in a Brahmin ceremony called Triyampawai to honor the Hindu god Shiva and welcome Narayana’s descent to earth. • The ceremony involved men swinging high to grab a money bag tied to the top beam — later discontinued due to safety concerns. 🎯 Today: • The swing is no longer used for rituals but remains a symbol of Bangkok. • It has been restored multiple times, most recently in 2006. • Recognized as a national historic monument and a popular tourist photo spot.

Worth passing by if it's on your route to the Golden Mount or maybe Chinatown. Otherwise, you're not missing much. There's a bit of history on it that Wikipedia might be able to tell you enough about. Temple beside it makes for a pretty background. If you go on a cloudy day like we did, photos won't be as impressive.

The Children’s Discovery Museum is a science-focused destination in Bangkok, offering interactive indoor and outdoor exhibits designed for kids. It's one of the first learning centers and museums for children in Southeast Asia, providing a wide range of engaging activities. Visitors can enjoy digging up dinosaur bones, creating giant bubbles, exploring a tunnel of mirrors, building with Lego pieces, and playing in the outdoor water park. The museum has been recently renovated to offer free admission and enough activities to keep kids entertained all day long.
An exciting outing with an entrance fee for kids and adults to supervise. Close to public transport BTS / MRT. - Beware, not all areas are suitable for all ages. Some parts of the museum are restricted to certain ages, other areas are available to older ages. Sure to be a hit with primary school kids into science, active play and learning through exploration. The water park operates at specific times, Dino bones sandpit, climbing area are all subject to repair and/or weather... A library, an interactive play town that explores various careers and jobs. Note that not all parts of the museum are accessible by elevator - the newer building certainly is, while the older buildings only have stairs. Wheelchair and mobility access at selected points only - please call ahead if you have concerns. The venue is mostly Thai including the 4D short movie, with some English spoken or available in print at other stations. Be reminded that some stations are shoes-off, please come with an appropriate shoe type to make life a bit easier while visiting. Over all - most kids would have fun here- please plan ahead and consider time of day/weather and available activities for your child. Have fun!!

Super Fun Spot for Families! Came across this discovery center museum while traveling in Thailand and it was such a great surprise! Everyone there was super friendly and the whole place was really clean and well taken care of. There’s a ton to do the whole place is made up of 3 separate buildings, each with different themes and activities, so you’re never bored. Outside, you can walk around and even dig for dinosaur bones (the kids loved that!). There are also some water activities, so I’d definitely recommend bringing an extra set of clothes just in case. Once you head inside, the AC is super cold which feels amazing after being out in the heat, but if you’re wet or sweaty, it can get chilly fast. A light sweater is a good idea to bring along! Inside the buildings, there are all kinds of fun stuff 4D shows, interactive exhibits, TV-based games, and hands-on learning zones that keep the kids busy and excited. Everything is well-organized and super engaging. You could easily spend a half day or more here exploring everything. If you’re traveling with kids or just love fun and interactive learning this place is definitely worth a stop! 👣🦖💦🎥

I can’t believe this place is free entry. Just be sure to bring a picture of your passport if you’re a foreigner. They have so many sections to discover. My children really loved the dinosaur excavation and the giant playground. The indoor section has air conditioning and there is a baby area with a breastfeeding chair and change table. It’s all very clean and well supervised by staff. I found it really easy to get around and appreciated all the staff support and ease of access getting around with a double stroller. It’s amazing. Definitely worth bringing kids to play for a few hours. On weekends they offer a junior Thai kitchen class.

Highly recommend this place for kids from 3 to 12, they had separate activities for under six where they can dress as fire fighter, Veterinarian, Flight pilot and also have to garden. Kids above six have drawing activity and building stuffs.

Free to enter for foreigners with your passport. Some areas are in a state of disrepair, but many other areas to let your little one play. There is a playground, water play area, dinosaur bone sand pit, library and giant blocks building area. Some areas like the toys/farming sim rooms are age/height restricted to only toddlers. Overall a fun visit if you're in the area

Book thought Klook for a package (cruise + show), but we arrived late due to the traffic jam. The lady in reception helps us to change the next cruise and the next show. The cruise finished at 2145 and the show start at 2145 which means we will be late for the show. The lady is so helpful and assist us for late entry. The show was wonderful and the stage is so close to the seat. The actors performed well and atmosphere is good, worth for a visit!

I booked the tickets through an agency which I would not recommend. I had a lot of troubles getting in. Once approved and let in, the theatre is quite nice. The show overall was entertaining. All artists were having great costumes, good dance moves and a lot of make-up. Good experience for about one hour. Prices for tickets rather high.

Show was a nice amount of time, not crowded at all. Nicely cooled for the weather. They provided opportunity to take photos after. The music in the performances was also nice and catchy with good performers. Nice way to spend some time out. Kid friendly as well. The place was also close to a little strip mall so lots to do before and after.

Very entertaining! The costumes are so intricate and the girls are so beautiful. The performers are interactive so do expect some interaction if you are sitting in front. Some performers are not of the best quality so their flaws do stand out but overall kudos to them for showing up and performing. You get to take a pic w the performers (100 baht per lady) after the show. The free/welcome drink is just tea at the entrance. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. You can dress casually to this event but the glam from the ladies will make you feel so underdressed.

Although not as famous as Tiffany’s or Alcazar, the Calypso Cabaret Show is still a hidden gem worth experiencing. This ladyboy show features a talented and charming cast—some of them truly beautiful—and delivers an evening full of color, music, and laughter. The performances are highly entertaining, blending glamour with humor. I especially enjoyed the funny lady with short hair—she brought so much energy and personality to the stage. Each act felt well-rehearsed and visually impressive, making it a great option for those looking for a unique cultural show. The venue is conveniently located, surrounded by small shops where you can browse snacks or souvenirs before or after the show. It’s definitely a fun evening out and a great way to experience something a bit different while in the area.

Khao San Market, famously depicted in the movie The Beach, is a vibrant and eclectic neighborhood that attracts backpackers seeking adventure. It offers affordable accommodation options and a bustling marketplace filled with the robust scent of street food. The area is known for its active nightlife and infamous ping pong shows, as well as the opportunity to try exotic foods like fried insects and reptiles.
This is one of my favorite places in Bangkok by far !wild, vibrant, full of life! It was just a short walk from our hotel, which made it super convenient to explore day and night. One of the craziest and most unforgettable things I did there was trying scorpion, cockroach, and caterpillar worms from the street vendors. Yup — I actually ate all of them! I also had grilled crocodiles and tons of other delicious street food. It’s a food lover’s paradise, especially if you’re into bold, adventurous eats. I also got a traditional Thai foot massage right there on the street, surrounded by music, laughter, and the buzz of travelers from all over the world. The vibe was unbeatable — energetic but laid-back at the same time. It truly felt like the soul of Bangkok. If you’re visiting Bangkok, don’t skip Khao San Road. It's chaotic in the best way and packed with culture, flavors, and unforgettable moments.

Khao San Road: Your Must-Go Global Hub in Bangkok! Khao San Road in Bangkok is an absolutely essential stop for anyone traveling to Thailand—it's the world-famous, vibrant, and bustling backpacker mecca! This street truly comes alive from about 4 PM until the early hours. You'll find a massive array of open-air bars, lively pubs, diverse street food, and countless shops selling everything a traveler could need. The great news is that prices here are very reasonable and generally comparable to what you'd find elsewhere. While many services post clear prices, a friendly negotiation is still often recommended before you commit, just to be sure. If you plan to stay right on the main street, places like D&D Inn Khaosan offer good value and are often very reasonably priced, but remember to book in advance on major travel websites, as they fill up fast! The quality is perfectly suitable for the typical, adventurous traveler. Explore the Softer Side: Neighboring Streets Don't miss the charming, interconnected lanes surrounding Khao San! Areas like Thanon Ram Buttri Night Market and Ram Buttri Alley are stunning and also packed with great shops, restaurants, and bars. These streets offer a slightly more relaxed and gentle vibe than the main road, making them a perfect alternative if you prefer a less intense experience. Whether you're looking for an all-night party or a chill evening with a beer, Khao San Road and its neighboring streets are definitely a 'Must-Go' destination on your Thai adventure!

A good place to just vibe in. A place filled full witg tourist who want to party and have a good time. There are alot of bars and clubs located along with massage parlours. Foot Massages here ramge from 300 bhar per half hour. Beer in bars are around 130 bhar for a large Chang, Singha and Leo. There are many street vendors both to eat and shop. We also saw alot of hotels. Be careful, the street is really noisy for you to get a good sleep if you book it there. There are street vendors selling beers as well. 7/11 sells beers but not on restricted times. Its fun to just bar hop or sit on a bar and enjoy people dancing and just enjoying the vibe. Must experience if you habe time in Bangkok. Tip: Go late after 11 or 12. Its more lively.

We finished our Thailand adventure in Bangkok. After we checked in, we grabbed a tuk tuk and headed to Khoa San Road. Ken had been many years before, and was excited to share the experience. We arrived fairly early (5:30pm) there are many food stations, restaurants and bars. Atmosphere: Very welcoming, felt safe the entire time. The local vendors seemed appreciative to have us there. Our first stop was dinner, we ate in the back of the restaurant. Prices were good for Thailand, food was also very good. Like most places we stopped to eat the menu was very large and offered a wide variety of choices. We walked around a bit and did some shopping. As the sun was going down we stopped for a drink and sat by the laneway. It was an authentic experience. Many vendors came and offered their goods. from scorpions on a stick to bracelets and other trinkets. When we were heading out the atmosphere was transformed to party mode. Lots of music, girls dancing on tables, owners trying to get us to enter clubs. We still felt very safe, and if we were looking to party it would have been perfect! Overall a great experience, and I recommend you add it to your stops. Erin EnD Adventures

This vibe is too good for night life. Beer z, night clubs , weed and laughing gas. This place is dope, you can be high as sky 😁. If you’re a back pack traveller, you’ll love this. Not recommended for children. I suggest not to carry any jewelry or high value items with you while here. Just travel with a summer outfit and always protect your belongings. Beers are cheap and always be aware of the surroundings. Do not drink any opened beer bottles and do not leave any drink unopened and finish the tab every time you order. If you follow this simple steps you won’t find any problems here. You could find crocodile meat , spiders and even centipedes here. Highly recommended for people who use weed.

I went last night (a Thursday night) around 22h00. This road has been closed off for markets and the festivities there. Similar to Bangla road in Phuket, but less extreme. It is quite busy; people everywhere, loud music in most of the restaurants, with a few half naked people dancing on tables on some restaurants, and a few showing their menus. Unlike Bangla, this one has a lot of market selling Thai food, finger food like spring rolls and pork on a stick, as well as fruits, clothes, bags, and passport covers. They even have stations to do massages and nails, which I did and was impressed. The interesting ones were the stalls with skinned crocodile where you could take a picture for 10 or 20 baht. Prices for food was reasonable, but for fashion items was high, even after negotiation! I wouldn't recommend shopping there. Just go for food stalls and the vibe. We left after midnight and it was still busy. It's good to go, but not nearly as exciting as the hype around it.

nice. but not for everyone. its good to experience it once atleast. its like any walking street that you'd find in pattaya or phuket ... but not as bad. Everyone here loves the vibe and the action, but i prefer a slightly quieter option if I had to choose for myself. Every other picture has me in it ... so I'll avoid posting those

Based on the few short hours I spent on this road this is not an extensive review. The road was busy with lots of businesses catering to the tourist wallet so to speak. It’s hard to know which business to go to for a genuine taste of Bangkok - as most seem to cater for the foreign pallet. Locals don’t hassle you but they will try to get your attention a couple of time to spend with them which is expected. This road is known to be a better experience in the evening when things get livelier and the temperature is cooler.

The Wat Phra Kaew Museum, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is a significant and revered Buddhist temple within the Grand Palace complex in Thailand. It has been historically used for royal ceremonies and religious rituals by Thai kings and royal families. The main attraction is the stunning emerald Buddha statue made of semi-precious green stone clothed in gold. Visitors are advised to dress modestly when exploring this sacred site.
This compound of temples / Grand Palace is a sight you must see when visiting Bangkok! The entrance for foreigners is 500 baht and you can buy your ticket at the entrance. You will see the Emerald Buddha (they change his “clothes” cover depending on the season!) the Grand Palace, the Queen’s fabrics museum, and the Throne Hall, and some more beautiful structures within! It’s a walk around self guided tour (or you can hire your own tour guide to help explain what’s going on because there a lot!) and took us about 1-2 hours, and that’s because we were quick. You’ll want to take tons of pictures and explore the areas, however you have to take your shoes off when entering the temples. Oh and cover up according to their dress code (respectful and no tank tops) It can be quite hot midday, try to make it early but don’t worry if you don’t… there’s shade everywhere. Just be prepared for it with a hat and a water! Overall beautiful, impressive property with beautiful architecture and rich history!

Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew The Grand Palace is an absolutely stunning historical site that reflects Thailand’s rich culture and heritage. The architecture is intricate and the Emerald Buddha is truly a sacred treasure to witness. The entire area is well-maintained, though quite crowded. A must-visit for anyone exploring Bangkok and learning about Thai history.
Bēlāl Ū — Google review
Stepping into the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew was like entering another world—one I wasn’t fully prepared for. From the very first moment I entered the grounds, I was completely mesmerized by the extraordinary architecture and the breathtaking details. The Grand Palace itself is a spectacle beyond words. The columns, the golden walls, and the murals telling stories of ancient history and religion all swept me away. It wasn’t just a royal residence; it was a living masterpiece. But what truly captivated me was Wat Phra Kaew. This temple was nothing short of an architectural marvel. Once inside, I couldn’t take my eyes off the intricate details. The temple wasn’t just sacred and spiritual—it was an artistic wonder. The Emerald Buddha, which rests in the heart of the temple, is not only a religious symbol but also an artistic gem. This statue, draped in semi-precious stones, is a unique masterpiece in its own right. The most surreal thing I felt here was the seamless blend of history and art that enveloped the entire place. Every wall, every arch, every corner of the Grand Palace told a story of Thailand’s culture and heritage, and I was lucky enough to experience it firsthand. From the elaborate designs inside the buildings to the crystal-clear pools and lush gardens, everything about the palace felt like an ongoing story—alive and vibrant. Visiting these two places wasn’t like a typical historical site tour. When you step into these spaces, it’s as if you’re stepping into the heart of Thai history and culture. Every corner holds a wonder, a mystery, and a piece of the kingdom’s soul.
Erfan F — Google review
We visited the place with a guide, along with the Grand Palace and several other nearby sites. I can say that the buildings are impressive, and the historical events truly capture your attention. However, I do believe that at times they take advantage of visitors by charging money for almost everything in each building. There should be a more welcoming and visitor-friendly approach. It’s easy to get confused about how many buildings require payment and where exactly you need to pay.

Vintage warfare equipment on display, with the old cannons (some dating back as far as the 1600s) skirt the classic facade to this building. Specialty Museums
Madame Tussauds BANGKOK is a part of the renowned wax museum chain, featuring lifelike wax replicas of famous figures from around the world. This family-friendly attraction allows visitors to interact with and take photos alongside the realistic figures, except for those in the Royal Thai room. The museum boasts themed galleries such as the Leader Zone, Film Zone, and Sports Zone, showcasing iconic personalities like Barack and Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, and more.
Madame Tussauds Bangkok, located in the heart of the city at Siam Discovery, is an exciting place to visit for anyone looking to meet their favorite celebrities in wax form. The museum offers a variety of themed zones, such as Red Carpet, Music, Film, Leaders, Art & Science, and more. From actors and athletes to historical figures, the place is full of lifelike wax figures that allow you to interact with them, take photos, and feel as if you’re standing next to a famous person. The venue is well-organized, with clear sections for different celebrity categories, making it fun to explore at your own pace. While the experience is quite enjoyable, it does get busy, especially during peak tourist hours, so expect a bit of a wait to take photos with some of the more popular figures. Ticket prices are reasonable, and the venue is located in Siam Discovery, which makes it easy to access if you're already exploring the shopping district. Whether you're a fan of Hollywood, sports, or history, Madame Tussauds Bangkok offers something for everyone, making it a must-visit spot for tourists and locals alike. Don’t forget to check out the promotions for combination tickets with SEA LIFE Bangkok for even better value.

Madame Tussauds Bangkok, situated inside Siam Discovery in the city center, is a fun and engaging attraction for those eager to see wax figures of their favorite celebrities. The museum is divided into several themed sections like Red Carpet, Music, Film, World Leaders, Art & Science, and more. You'll find everything from movie stars and athletes to influential personalities from history, all crafted with impressive realism. Visitors can take pictures and interact with the displays, making it feel like a close-up encounter with famous figures. The layout is user-friendly, with each zone clearly marked, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. However, it can get a bit crowded during busy hours, so there might be short waits to take photos with some of the most popular statues. Admission prices are fair, and being located in Siam Discovery means it’s easy to reach if you're exploring the nearby shopping area. Also, keep an eye out for bundled ticket offers with SEA LIFE Bangkok to save more. Whether you’re into movies, sports, politics, or science, Madame Tussauds Bangkok has something for every interest. It’s a worthwhile stop for both tourists and locals looking for a unique and entertaining experience.

Madam Tussauds was a really amazing place to visit. There were such a wide variety of stars, including our personal favorites. There were lots of photo opportunities with your favorite star. Lovely mix of Hollywood, bollywood, sporting and cultural star. I enjoyed the interactive displays that allowed you to play a match. Loved the dress up costumes as well. My favorite was Einstein. The realistic, almost human like stars felt out of this world. If you are in Bangkok you can't afford to miss this!
Dr D — Google review
So good to see world-famous leaders, celebrities, and sports stars all in one place. The statues are astonishing — I wonder how they made them so perfect. It’s a small but great place to visit in Bangkok.
Min W — Google review
Very detailed sculptures and you can touch them/be close to them for photos (more stable and not like the scam that is Mother's Wax Museum at Kolkata). Although I would recommend to keep a safe distance to avoid high penalties in case of unfortunate events as penalties are quite high in Bangkok (at least 5000 THB).
Shinichi K — Google review
As someone who has spent years exploring attractions around the world, I've learned that some places are perfect for fun and photos. Madame Tussauds in Bangkok is a great example of this. It’s located on the 4th floor of the Siam Discovery Center. Finding it can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the effort. Once you enter, you're welcomed by an incredible collection of wax figures. They look amazing, and the whole experience invites you to take photos with your favorite celebrities, historical figures, and movie characters. It's a fantastic day out, especially if you’re with friends or family and want to make some fun memories. While it's a great place for photos, you can also learn a lot here. Each figure has a small sign detailing its history. So, if you feel like it, you can read up and get to know the people you're “meeting.” A useful tip for visiting is to plan ahead. I heard that tickets can be purchased on Trip.com for about $17 AUD, which is a great price for the experience. This shows that a little planning can save you money and enhance your day. Overall, Madame Tussauds is a must-visit for a fun, photo-filled day. Just remember to bring a little extra cash for your tickets online beforehand!

Madame Tussauds Bangkok – A Must-Visit for Fun & Photos! I had an amazing time at Madame Tussauds Bangkok! The wax figures are incredibly lifelike, and it was so much fun posing with international celebrities, sports stars, and historical icons all under one roof. The museum is well-organized, interactive, and family-friendly. I especially loved the sections featuring Marvel superheroes and Thai cultural figures – a perfect blend of global and local personalities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. If you’re visiting Bangkok and looking for something entertaining and different, this place is definitely worth a visit. Don’t forget your camera—this spot is all about photos and memories!

Taling Chan Floating Market is a traditional market where vendors sell a variety of food and drinks from boats along the river. Unlike larger markets, Taling Chan offers an authentic Thai food experience without overwhelming crowds. Visitors can enjoy freshly cooked crabs and barbecued prawns while relaxing by the water and soaking up village life. Children can also feed river fish from the jetty. Located seven miles outside Bangkok, this market features wooden boats cooking fresh seafood on miniature barbecues along the riverbank.
There is another floating market in Bangkok at Talingchan. In the past most of the shops were in the boats but now they are on the street. It is a small market that has many foods, fruits, clothes. This market opens in the weekend. Enjoy your weekend here.

If you're looking for a quaint, off-the-beaten-path experience, this floating market is a hidden gem. Unlike the more popular markets, it's not very crowded and you won't find too many tourists here. The street food is a highlight – delicious, cheap, and plentiful. The community feel is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and soak in the local culture. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and peaceful market experience.

The Floating Market was really nice! There were many dessert options, and I went with a friend — we tried the salt-crusted fish, tilapia. I think it’s the best place in Bangkok to eat that! The price was very cheap, and the fish was huge. It was amazing to feel the whole market vibe with the boats passing by. 8.5/10 🌊🐟 I’m Brazilian and have a travel agency in Peru — Machu Picchu, Cusco 🇵🇪 @dopkertravel. A very interesting local market, an "absolute must-visit" destination for a food experience you "must try". You can get there from central Bangkok using many types of transport; if you have a large group and are not restricted by time, taking one of the many very cheap bus routes is a great option.

Small market open sat and sun There is tour Small boat 1000bath for up to 4 passengers . Go to another bigger Floating market. Time spend of tour is 1.20hours. Only 20 mins stop at th another floating market isnt enough time to visit.
Gphuot — Google review
i recommend getting there at opening for a quieter experience. there were unfortunately no stalls in boats on the canal but there are plenty of stores on land to choose from and it’s evident that locals frequent this market.
Kehara E — Google review
The market here is small, but it is better than the one further away because you can tak a boat from there and be transported to another location. We decided to stay and roam around the area before taking a taxi back to our hotel. You don't have to pay any ticket except the boat trip The parking can be challenging better take a taxi. It is worth to take the boat trip to another place.

Super cool place to visit! It’s real floating market where you can go on boat and go to another small market. It’s cool experience take up an hour, costs 100 bat per person. We had food there and it was so good too! Really enjoyed the experience and will highly recommend to visit if you are in Bangkok

King Power Mahanakhon is a stunning 78-floor skyscraper that offers hotel rooms, retail spaces, and a breathtaking viewing deck at a height of 1,030 feet. One of its unique attractions is the ParadropVR City Flyer, which provides an unparalleled virtual reality experience unlike any other. As the second tallest building in Thailand at 314 meters, it stands as an iconic landmark in the city.
What an amazing experience! The view from here is absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning glimpse of Bangkok from the top. The food was delicious, and the music perfectly complemented the beautiful ambiance. Evenings here feel peacefully romantic, soothing, and truly mesmerizing. A must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food with an unforgettable view!

A complete experience in one place from the immersive SkyVerse digital art space to the 360° SkyWalk and the relaxing rooftop bar. Started with SkyVerse on the lower floor, a stunning mix of mirrors, lights, and colors that’s perfect for photos. Then took the ultra-fast elevator up to the SkyWalk for a full view of Bangkok absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset. On the rooftop, Sky Beach offers a chill vibe with music, drinks, and fresh air. Plus, CHAGEE’s tea shop downstairs has beautiful packaging that’s great for photos. Highly recommended for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a fun city experience. Come in the late afternoon to enjoy the sunset and stay through to see the city lights.
MissPoon — Google review
It is one of the most thrilling attractions in Bangkok, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city from Thailand’s tallest building. The glass sky deck on the 78th floor is the main highlight - standing on transparent glass with the skyline beneath your feet is both nerve-wracking and exciting. The observation deck and indoor viewing hall are spacious, modern, and well-organized with clear city views, especially stunning during sunset and night when Bangkok lights up beautifully. Ticketing is smooth, though slightly on the expensive side compared to other city attractions. The rooftop bar adds to the experience, letting you relax with a drink while soaking in panoramic views. It’s a must-visit for photographers, thrill seekers, or anyone wanting a unique perspective of Bangkok. Recommended to go just before sunset for the best experience - catch the day view, golden hour, and night skyline all in one visit. Truly an unforgettable highlight of Bangkok.
Prabhakar T — Google review
Mind blowing views from the rooftop. Took my wife on a surprise visit and she loved it. Staff were helpful as they guided us through the elevators. There’s a lazer exhibition experience which you do first before heading to the rooftop. Unlike in NYC we were able to go onto the clear floor to the tower which was really something to experience. We arrived weekend afternoon around 4pm and there wasn’t any issues with crowds. We definitely recommend!!!

The view is Spectacular at the 74th floor with the clear windows in between. The best open view is to get up to the 78th floor where you can get to stand on the clear glass above the building wow..... it's a challenge, great views and there is a mini bar for food and drinks. I went during the day so it's hot best to try during the evening time from 4.30 -7pm. Hope you enjoy your time there as much as I have 😀

Breathtaking views of Bangkok from above! The Mahanakhon SkyWalk is an incredible experience. The 78th floor offers panoramic views of the entire city — you can even spot the Chao Phraya River winding through Bangkok. The glass floor section adds a thrilling touch for the adventurous, and the observation deck is spacious and well-maintained. Perfect for sunset or night visits when the city lights sparkle. A must-visit for anyone who loves amazing cityscapes!

It's kind of expensive for Bangkok, but I'd say its worth a visit. After 7pm you get a free drink (including great cocktails) for your 1200 THB entry fee. The view is stunning and the Skywalk (thick glassplates that make you feel like you're walking above the city) is an experience one shouldn't miss out on. Pretty well organised with lockers for backpacks etc.

Brilliant architectural structure. They have a lounge with spectacular views for people who wish to snack and relax a bit. Totally worth it and one of a kind experience. We also opted for the I Tilt which is on the 75th floor and such a thrilling experience. Its one of a kind and I totally recommend it. They have all the safety features in place for this activity at Dizzying heights. .A viewing deck on the 74th floor and a massive glass tray on the 78th floor which gives you an opportunity to take some of your best pics ever.

River City Bangkok is a modern, air-conditioned mall located along the Chao Praya River. It features extensive galleries showcasing antiques, art, music, and film. The exhibitions are constantly rotating, offering visitors new experiences with each visit. The shopping complex is renowned for its wide selection of antique and reproduction shops featuring items from various cultures including Thai, Burmese, Chinese, Cambodian, and European pieces.
A well-designed and sophisticated complex with spacious areas, perfect for cultural events and exhibitions. The exhibitions here are always creative and engaging — definitely worth a visit for anyone interested in art and culture. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a unique exhibition experience. There are a few restaurants and drink options inside, though the variety isn’t as wide as in larger malls. However, the surrounding area is lively, with plenty of street food stalls and local eateries to explore.

Lovely place to visit! Some really cool art shows and stores where you can buy unique items! We went on a Monday and I would recommend choosing any other day as Monday seems to be the day when most things are closed, but there was still a lot to visit and it's free so no big loss.

Clean venue with a fantastic exhibition, definitely worth the admission price. Parking is available (handy, as it's a bit far from the BTS). It was nice not having to deal with big crowds. A quick recommendation: after your visit, check out the food scene at Songwat Walking Street.

River City is one of Bangkok’s most dynamic cultural spaces, constantly hosting new and diverse exhibitions, from traditional Thai art to bold pop-art installations. Many of them are even free to enter, which is a nice bonus. This particular exhibition, though, was honestly a bit disappointing. It felt more like an Instagram photo zone than an art show. If you go in expecting that, you’ll probably enjoy it. The merch section wasn’t special either. even as a Snoopy fan, I found the 450-baht ticket a bit overpriced. Still, it was lovely to see all the adorable Snoopy visuals up close. One more thing: the air-conditioning was freezing cold, so much that it was hard to focus on the exhibit. Definitely bring a jacket if you plan to visit.

River City Bangkok is a fantastic art and culture hub. It features diverse, inspiring exhibitions, massive art toys, and countless photo opportunities. A stunning sunset view of the Oriental Hotel and IconSiam. Plus: very clean facilities, cool shops with local artist goods, and parking. Best visited on weekdays before the afternoon crowd. Highly recommended for a creative escape!

Review of River City Bangkok: A Mixed Experience River City Bangkok recently hosted the Snoopy 75 Years exhibition, and while it was an enjoyable experience, I found it a bit lacking compared to similar attractions. The exhibition showcased some charming elements celebrating Snoopy's legacy, but I couldn't help but feel that the Snoopy Garden in Jeju offered a more immersive experience. One of my main disappointments was the merchandise selection, which didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the collaboration with local artists was a commendable idea, the execution felt somewhat underwhelming and fell short of what I had hoped for. Overall, the exhibition was just okay for me. If you’re a Snoopy fan, it’s worth a visit, but I would recommend managing your expectations, especially if you’ve experienced the delightful offerings at the Snoopy Garden in Jeju. River City Bangkok has potential, but there's room for improvement in future exhibitions.
Adhi W — Google review
Review of River City Bangkok River City Bangkok is a hidden gem along the scenic Chao Phraya River, offering a unique blend of art, culture, and modern convenience. Unlike typical shopping malls, this four-story complex stands out as a haven for art lovers and collectors, with an impressive array of galleries showcasing antiques, contemporary art, and international exhibitions. I visited in early 2025 and was captivated by the diverse collection of artworks, from local Thai pieces to global creations, with some galleries even offering interactive drawing activities that added a fun, hands-on element. The atmosphere is relaxed and air-conditioned, making it a perfect escape from Bangkok’s heat. The second floor, dedicated to art galleries, was a highlight, though I recommend checking their website for current exhibitions as they rotate frequently. I was particularly impressed by the unique antique shops selling everything from bronze sculptures to Thai crafts—perfect for finding distinctive souvenirs. Beyond art, River City boasts a vibrant dining scene. The waterfront promenade is lined with restaurants offering stunning river views, and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at RIVER SIT, where the international menu (think pasta, steak, and dim sum) was both delicious and beautifully presented, though slightly pricey due to the prime location. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was enhanced by the serene river backdrop. Accessibility is a breeze, with options to arrive by boat, train, or motorcycle taxi. The proximity to ICONSIAM (just across the river) and the convenient ferry service make it an easy stop during a day of exploring. My only minor critique is that some exhibitions may not always align with every visitor’s taste, so it’s worth checking the schedule beforehand. Overall, River City Bangkok is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates art, culture, or simply wants a sophisticated riverside experience. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5 highly recommended for a unique and enriching outing in Bangkok

There's currently an exhibition showcasing Snoopy's work, and it's a really great show. My sister and I were really impressed. Seeing this exhibition really helped to heal our tired minds. The Patpong Museum offers a unique glimpse into the history and culture of Bangkok's infamous red-light district. Visitors can explore exhibits that detail over 100 years of history, shedding light on the working conditions, expectations of the workers, and its ties to notable celebrities, governing bodies, and American soldiers during the Vietnam War. The museum showcases artifacts from the area's origins as a banana plantation and delves into its secretive past as a CIA hub.
With so much history disappearing in Bangkok, it is nice to see a place that is trying to preserve a vibrant past in a local area. I enjoyed the bar at the end of the tour meeting up with other travelers and we went well beyond the free beer that was provided in the ticket price. Staff was kind and made no effort to rush us out beyond normal hours. Definitely adds to a night out in one of Bangkok's vibrant night zones.

350 per person( free 50 baht coupon can buy the drinks inside the museum). The tour is about 1 hour and after the tour you can look around by yourself. The tour only in English or Thai. The museum is not just about the night life of Patpong. It’s also the history and the story in the area. Very interesting.
Zoe L — Google review
It costs 350 Baht which also includes a 50 Baht drink voucher. Expect beer to cost around 100 Baht. The museum normally includes a guided tour where some areas are of high interest and others are a bit dull depending on the person. A good amount of the museum includes the speedier side of Patpong which will interest some people. This part of the museum was not my cup of tea but was not garish. It's also possible to walk through and revisit any rooms after you have had the tour.
Mathew F — Google review
An incredible museum!!! The tour guides are an absolute wealth of information about the days gone by and up to the present day. There are lots of displays and information which is all explained to you along the guided tour. If history interests you. This is a must tour and museum to visit in Bangkok. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the metro station

As a Thai person, the visit to Patpong museum is truly an eye opening experience. Despite its worldwide fame as Bangkok’s top red light and nightlife district, little is known about its history and how it has evolved with time to become the famous Patpong as it is known today. Apart from its sleazy side, there are many slices of Thai and world history that directly relate and link to Patpong which are very interesting and not widely known even among the locals. All in all, this is highly recommended for both locals and overseas tourists to Bangkok. Note that some museum sections are open for those who are 18 years old or older and the museum content is now totally in English. However, I was informed that the information in Thai will be added soon. This should make it more appealing and accessible for the local visitors.
Ben W — Google review
One of the best museums I have visited. It was short and sweet but still information-packed and very interesting. From the other reviews we thought that it was mainly a museum about the red light bars in Patpong, but it is much more than that. It covers the broad history and the development of the Patpong district. The guided tour with Randy was funny, interesting and interactive. We ended the tour in the secret bar inside the museum (with an Austrian bartender - very nice guy). Totally worth a visit!
Mo G — Google review
I am so glad that I visited this museum. First of all the owner and staffs are really friendly and secondly we got a free guide who showed us around and shared his knowledge about the thai red light district. It’s so much more than the stereotype’s people usually have before visiting this red light area. The history about the Patpong street is very interesting and informative. It completely changed my views about this street. Definitely worth a visit.
Neha K — Google review
Visiting the museum was a fun and eye-opening experience. We were guided by the owner of the museum and Black Pagoda himself. There are so many cultural and historical layers to this seemingly shallow and touristic neighborhood, that when put into timeline and perspective, feels like having a life of its own. The museum covers from the time of the Patpongpanich family all the way to the Covid era. There are interactive games, videos, miniatures, and collectibles cultivated by the passionate people of the museum.

Awesome place to take the kids. It's good for several hours, but probably not a whole day. My 4 and 7 year olds both had a blast. Arts and crafts, play area, rope course, cooking class, and even a place for them to make T-shirts. I highly recommend it!

Restaurant, It's got a lot to offer. Prices are cheap, I think it's a few hundred baht for the whole day, 110 for parents. Can get a little busy on weekends but not too bad. My kid loves it!

This trip was as much a trip for us as it is for our little 3 year old. After reading reviews of many similar places, we settled on this location and was not disappointed. He truly enjoyed himself and there were really plenty of activities he can do. If you child is above 110 cm, he or she can even take part in the rope activities. We came on a weekday so the place was congested. Plenty of areas of parents to rest and the food sold at the café was decent. My boy ate most of his meal, which was decorated to look cute. There is a big C within walking distance to visit after. Will definitely consider this place again if I return to Bangkok.

Highly recommend for parents with young kids. Our kid has been coming here since she was just 1 year old.. And she loves it! There's a separate section for 4 and below.. And parents can accompany. Cafe has decent food and drink options also well within viewing distance from toddler zone.

If you are exhausted parents ,or your children have unlimited energy, this is the best place to take a pause and bring your children here. One stop solution and you can have a slow rest whole days. Many activities inside such as fun rope, wall climbing, bicycle, roller blade, giant play ground, massage, food, wall drawing, lucky star ( lucky gamble). Worth to mentioned, employees here very friendly, even my daughter wet her pant, while I return after get her new pant, a female worker already help her clean up and wash, impressive. The premises is absolutely clean, they keep do the cleaning. Toilet is excellent. Security is you can feel secure.. highly recommended.

The staff were very strict about socks (even adults have to wear sicks), which to me is a good thing, hygiene is most important. The toddler play zone is the biggest I have seen. There is a restaurant inside but it’s just the usual, nothing to shout about. some activities requires additional cost, such as the obstacle course, cooking.

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, also known as Wat Leng Noei Yi, is a significant Chinese Buddhist temple located in Bangkok's Chinatown. Established in 1871, the temple is steeped in Thai and Chinese culture and hosts various events such as Chinese New Year celebrations and food festivals. Visitors can explore its numerous courtyards and passageways while admiring Buddhist artifacts like the laughing Buddha and other statues.
Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, also called Wat Leng Noei Yi, is the largest Chinese Buddhist temple in Bangkok’s Chinatown. Built in the 19th century, it features traditional Chinese architecture, dragon designs, and golden Buddha statues. The temple is especially busy during Lunar New Year and the Vegetarian Festival, making it a cultural and spiritual highlight of the city

Sunday 5th October 2025: Largest Buddhist temple in Bangkok's Chinatown. So colourful with many people praying and making offerings. Plenty to see once inside and such a different contrast to the streets outside it. Worth a visit if you are there.
Alan H — Google review
While wandering through Bangkok’s lively Chinatown, I found myself drawn toward Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, also known as Wat Leng Noei Yi. The moment I stepped through its grand Chinese-style gates, I was hit by the aroma of incense and the gentle hum of prayers being chanted—it immediately felt like I had entered a completely different world. This temple is a beautiful fusion of Chinese and Thai Buddhist traditions. The red pillars, golden altars, and dragon motifs created a visually rich atmosphere, and even though I’m not Buddhist, there was something very grounding and peaceful about being there. I watched locals perform their rituals—lighting incense, bowing with folded hands, and making quiet offerings. It was calming to just observe and absorb the spiritual energy of the place. What I really appreciated was how authentic and alive everything felt. This wasn’t a touristy stop—it was a functioning temple where people genuinely came to pray, reflect, and seek blessings. It gave me a glimpse into the local culture that goes far deeper than street food and shopping. If you’re in Bangkok and want a short escape from the chaos of the city, this is a perfect little sanctuary. I walked out feeling lighter and more centered.

I really enjoyed this temple. Lots of people praying, making donations, and a monk was chanting too. Nice to hear it throughout the temple. There are many kinds of offerings such as candles, rice, or the arrow sticks.

It's historical and famous Chinese temple in Chinatown, Bangkok. Thai people usually visit to pray and make their wishes to become true. Nice to come there.

A Chinese temple at Bangkok. The temple is very beautiful. The temple is kept very clean. Entry is free. Tourists do not need to buy any entry tickets.

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat is one of those places where you really feel the heart of Chinatown. The moment you step inside, the mix of incense, the sound of prayers, and the beautifully detailed Chinese architecture creates a peaceful atmosphere, even though it’s right in the middle of the busy Yaowarat area. It’s a great spot to come for blessings, especially during festivals, and it's also a wonderful place to just slow down and take in the cultural vibe. Whether you're into spiritual places or simply love exploring iconic landmarks, this temple is definitely worth a visit.

Water & Amusement Parks
Fantasia Lagoon is a vibrant water park located on the rooftop of The Mall Bangkae in Bangkok. It offers an array of thrilling attractions such as looping water slides, fun pools, spray zones, and a lazy river. While some recent visitors were disappointed by parts being closed for renovations, families with young children found it to be a great place for them to play safely. Unlike other amusement parks in Bangkok, Fantasia Lagoon allows children to enjoy every ride without age or height restrictions.
Good small water park for family. It is on the top of The Mall Bangkhae, the entrace fee is 220 THB for adult and 150 THB for child. There is some restaurant inside and cold drink, beer. If you rent swimming pool costume 70 THB per person. If you wanna go outside, Staff will stamp your hand, you are allowed to enter again and again. It was a good day with my family there.
Khun M — Google review
Great place to take your family to. 3 of the themed slides were closed today because of renovation/service and will open soon. 200 bath for an adult and 150 for Kids,so its not much for a half a day with some fun in the water 😉. I would advice you to go in the weekdays as its not to many visitor aswell. You need a bathing cap to enter but you can rent it at the shop for 20 baths with other things as bathtube and swimmingboards. I would definitive come again 👍

Drove for an hour to get here with our child. What a huge waste of time and a disappointment! Very difficult to find in the first place. Then had to pay 250 thb entry and had to rent a swimmingcap. Our child could only use the slides for babies cause he is under 10, although he can swim very good. Most of the slides were closed and even the baby-slides were not all open. The slides he was allowed to use, we had to rent a tube for 80 thb as well. The slides are cracked, broken off and the walls are brown. The park is not maintained very well, the dressing rooms were also very dirty. They have a lot of staff sitting around, looking at their phone. Maybe they should let them clean a bit. Asking the full price with more than half the slides closed, doesn't feel very good. Also, there is no food or drink on the park. You have to get fully dressed again and walk through the shopping mall to get food. We got dressed and left after an hour of laying around in a babypool. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Place is ok and need a bit to get renovated but I insist it is "ok". Price is cheaper than other water parks here....it is worth every baht you pay due to this price factor. Down side...girls and mothers were walking and sitting in male room!! The staff should have warned them. It is funny and not acceptable at all.

A decent way to spend a few hot hours in an afternoon but nothing special. Far more interesting for kids or parents. Affordable, clean, often not very busy. A large pool to lounge in and some great seating areas. You're allowed to bring your own food and drink in which is much appreciated. Don't get too excited about the water slides: they're very simple.

Neilson Hays Library, located in the bustling Bangrak district of Bangkok, is a historic English-language library housed in a neoclassical building. Established in 1869 by the Bangkok Ladies Library Association, it boasts one of the largest collections of English language books in Thailand. The library offers a cozy cafe and an extensive selection of magazines and newspapers.
Charming venue, well kept premises, interesting architectural heritage in the middle of the city. Laid back atmosphere. Free entry for some cultural events but membership fee for library access. You can donate your books here and they also have a bi-annual book sales where you can find real bargains. I picked up an interesting vintage German illustration book, two very nicely designed Taiwanese children's books and a scientific book for work use that was still in a very good condition.
Nat S — Google review
I visited here without admission fee because it’s book on sale period. The architecture inside the library is beautifully classic.
Wisut E — Google review
It’s a great place where you can read and study in peace, focusing on gaining knowledge. I like visiting public libraries for their academic ambience and architectural character. The library building deserves special attention. Designed by Italian architect Mario Tamagno, it still preserves its original features like columns with elegant stucco and old teakwood furniture. Another interesting detail is the double-wall structure, which helps keep the books well-ventilated and protects them from humidity. About the entrance fee: if you come to use the books, there is a small fee of 100 baht. However, if you’re just visiting the library to look around, it’s free. About taking pictures: photography is strictly prohibited, as stated on a sign at the entrance. But if you’re an architecture lover like me, you can try your luck and politely ask the lady at the counter for permission — just make sure not to disturb other visitors. According to the rules, photography is also allowed during special events like classical music concerts, literature festivals, or art exhibitions occasionally held at the library. If you have time in Bangkok, I recommend visiting this place.
Sergey К — Google review
📚A charming European-style library in the heart of Bangkok. The space is compact yet filled with thousands of books across various genres. It’s quiet, clean, and well-organized—perfect for reading. However, there’s a lack of power outlets, which makes it less convenient for working with electronic devices. A daily ticket costs 100 baht, while members can enjoy more benefits. Photography and filming are not allowed inside the library, so I only captured the architecture and exterior space. Close on Monday

We had a fantastic night there with this special instrumental concert. They were amazing young talented musicians. The library is beautiful and super cozy. The staff treated us like family. Lots of greenery and big trees in their garden. The small coffee shop is perfect. An impressive night indeed.

- Small libraly with a lot of English books (90%) and Thai book (10%) of various interest (fiction, non-fiction, young adult novel, children, Japanese manga, gardening, biography, business, etc.) - A few parking spaces available (around 5-6 cars) - There are annual sales where a lot of old books are sold in half (or lower) the price - There is a coffee shop within the library fence
Duangkamol L — Google review
Great place to borrow English language books. We really enjoyed the children's section. It is a private library, so you have to pay an annual membership fee to borrow. But the fee is pretty reasonable and supports the nonprofit organization that runs the library. The building itself is quite beautiful and draws a considerable following of social media influencers taking pictures outside. An striking contrast between a boisterous, slightly disheveled family of bookworms and fashionable, stylish young people at this here. :)

Natural History Museums
The Museum of Human Body, located at a medical school, offers an intriguing exhibition featuring 15 dissected and preserved bodies in two rooms. Visitors can explore detailed information about body parts and organs, providing an educational experience on human anatomy. Notably, guests have the unique opportunity to hold a real human brain. The museum aims to explain the workings and frailties of the human body through informative exhibits.
You should check the opening hours. A passport is always required at the reception on the 1st floor. I don't think it's a real museum. There are only two showrooms. Students and teachers sometimes visit this place because it's located on a university campus. Many real bodies, organs and other specimens are on display. Photography and video recording are prohibited.
Liu — Google review
A great place to study human anatomy. However manage your expectations as its just 2 rooms side to side. Not an entire museum like the name suggests. It's located the Chula University dentistry building. Gonna pay for parking though as it's near Siam Square
S — Google review
You need to find the dentist faculty in the University and walk in turn left walk along the building to find the elevator. There are a few standees in front of the elevator to show you the floor. Get to that floor. There is the table for you to register (it’s free). Walk-in the exhibition area is quite cold. And if you are not familiar with anatomy it’ll be a bit scary (I believed it’s the real human body)😋 But if you’re interested in anatomy science, it’s detailed even it’s just 2 rooms. And take time to explore about the human body is awesome.
Penny L — Google review
This is a really good museum! Free to exit, convenient location, amazing exhibition, it’s really comfy place to fathom some facts about human body. Highly recommend!
Anna B — Google review
This is how the real museum should be. Absolutely free of charge. Not very big, but extremely fascinating. I really enjoyed it. I was surprised by the actual size of the human brain. And I like the fact that it's a medical university, so doctors can come and see how it looks in real life. Highly recommended!
Aleksandr B — Google review
An eye-opening experience for those who have an interest in the human body. Free entry with two mid-size rooms exhibiting human bodies with descriptions. RECOMMENDED
Dhammawatra T — Google review
Fascinating, Informative and educational museum explaining the workings (and frailties) of the human body. Note: All exhibits on display are real bodies, donated to science at the wish of the deceased. - Not for the squeamish. Clear descriptions of all exhibits on display. How much does a human brain weigh? Pick one up, see for yourself! Want to give up smoking? See the damaging effects of smoking on the human lung - close up! A most sobering and introspective experience. Access via hospital grounds (not very well signposted). Length of visit about 1/2 hour. Admission free. Donations accepted.
Jim N — Google review
If you're interested in human anatomy, then this is the place to come. The various exhibits displayed show different aspects of the human body e.g. Veins/Arteries, Nerves, Organs and muscles. One of the bodies is disseted vertically from head to groin. Another body has been sliced in horizontal sections. There is a very interesting written piece on all the stages required to preserve the cadaver. You need to enter the university campus site from the "Henri Dunant Rd" once on site follow road right, then left and Museum is on 9th Floor of medical building.

A free of charge place for those who want to work from home or study in a completely quiet environment. There atre also a souvenir shop, a cafeteria and a museum within the complex. WiFi is only accessible to members (1500 THB per year). The view of the Chao Phraya River is one of a kind!

The overall atmosphere is nice. Entry is free. You can show your ID card to the staff to receive a free Wi-Fi password valid for 2 hours. If you arrive a bit late, there might not be many seats left especially the window-side spots with river views. There’s also a café on the ground floor with a good vibe. However, the book selection isn’t very diverse, mostly finance and economics. If you plan to sit and read, it’s recommended to bring your own book.

The Bank of Thailand Learning Center is a surprisingly beautiful place to escape the city noise and dive into history and calm. Located on Samsen Road by the Chao Phraya River, with views of the Rama VIII Bridge, the center offers a quiet, modern library, interactive exhibits, and a museum on Thai currency history. The architecture blends old mint printing press charm with sleek, large glass windows, clean corridors, lovely reading zones. Entry is free; the café downstairs offers good drinks. Water sports equipment rental service
Water Sports
Taco Lake, Thailand's first cable wake park, has been a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts since 1991. Just a short distance from Suvarnabhumi Airport and downtown, the lake offers opportunities for wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding, and water skiing with equipment rentals available on-site. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a meal at the waterfront restaurant and consider renting one of the comfortable rooms equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, hot showers, and Wi-Fi access.
It was great. I was very impressed. Very cheap and you can play all day. The water is very warm as well. Water was calm and it wasn't busy. when you wipe out at the other side they shuttle you back. They do need to do some maintenance at the launch as the boards are broken. Bring some form of water shoes or socks as the walk on the pontoons is very hot.

A real hidden gem for anyone looking to pick up wakeboarding! Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced rider, this place is a rare find. You won't find facilities like this at such a good price in Singapore or Malaysia — it's only 400 baht for a full-day pass. The Thai operators are super friendly and can speak basic English, which really helps for foreigners. I've been coming here many times over the past two years and absolutely love it. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along to chill while you ride. Great spot to hang out with friends and family too — they’ve got food and drinks on-site!

First time here for a SUP. The equipment are pretty new and in a great quality. The price for a SUP per person is 400 baht which include the board, paddle, life jacket and one water bottle. We went there at around 4pm and can stay until 8pm. However, once it was getting dark there would be lots of mosquitoes. One thing they can improve is the restroom. It is a bit dirty and need to be cleaned. We can see dirt and spider web all over. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommended to come try it out.

Smaller cable park with a few ramps and sliders but only on one side, good for a beginner to intermediate rider. They need more obsticals in the water to make your lap around the lake more entertaining. I had fun but wished for more sliders and larger jumps. Rented a better board with boots but the equipment is old and worn out. Price is cheaper than other wakeboard parks in Bangkok. Hope they update the boards and ramps soon and I would be happy to give it 5 stars. I'll be back because of the value. They rent knee boards and have wind surfing and paddle boarding too.

I just loved this place.. it is famous for wake boarding.. they have all the required arrangements required for wake boarding.. it is ok if you are beginner.. they have knee boards for beginners.. 🏄‍♀️ There is a cafe here which serves tasty food in case you feel hungry after wake boarding. The people here are very polite and helpful..

A gem in Bangkok! This wake board park is a great escape while being in Bangkok. The prices were fair and the water was great. They have food on site which was tasty Thai food dishes. Fairly priced too. If this is your first time or your a pro this is a great park. They have boards and helmets so don't worry. While getting there just pay attention to the signs since it can be a little tricky. It was my first time and the staff was friendly to give me tips. After 3 times I got it down. Planning on going back to this park to get my turns down. The crowd here is chill and kind. It's a selection and fun place.

Skipped another boring mall and headed straight to Benjasiri Park — best decision ever! Right in the middle of chaotic Bangkok, it’s this total chill zone: palm trees, little lakes, green grass, and zero stress. You can go for a run (the paths are legit), do yoga on the lawn, or just lounge with an iced coffee from one of the cute cafés nearby. Plus, there’s always someone skating, sketching, hanging with friends, or walking their dog. Super vibey! Biggest perks? Free Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, and tons of shaded benches. And it’s literally a 2-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong. If you need a break from the heat and crowds but still wanna stay in the heart of the city — Benjasiri’s got your back. 10/10, instant chill mode activated 🌿✨

“I love Benchasiri Park! It’s a super convenient and peaceful urban oasis nestled right in the heart of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area. The park is beautifully landscaped, with an ornamental lake, contemporary sculptures by Thai artists, and wide paths that make it perfect for strolling or jogging. The greenery and calm feel offer a refreshing contrast to the busy city surrounding it. It’s just steps away from Phrom Phong BTS Station—so easy to reach. The kids’ playground, swimming pool, sports courts, and skate zone mean there’s something for everyone. I especially enjoy coming here at sunset when the skyline glows and the fountain looks magical. As a bonus, the park is right next to Emporium and EmSphere malls, so I always combine a relaxing walk here with some shopping or a bite to eat. It’s my favorite spot to unwind after a busy day in Bangkok—but still stay connected to the city.”

Siam Niramit Bangkok is a must-visit attraction for those interested in Thailand's rich history, culture, and traditions. The theater is adorned in contemporary Thai style and offers a complete experience with a mini village, restaurant, and souvenir shop. The main show is an impressive three-part performance featuring live elephants, dancing, and over 100 performers that vividly depict the country's history. Before the show starts at 8 p.m.
One of the best shows around the world. A true tribute to Thai culture and history. MUST watch show if you are in Bangkok. No need high value seats to enjoy it. Also have a artificial min village and some small performances out of theater. Buffet food was okay. Visited twice till now.

A wonderful experience and a great time for the family. Greeted by 2 beautiful elephants who amused the crowd and were so friendly. The large open air area hosted traditional cultural Thai dances with many colourful/interesting costumes. There were several other huts or houses which exhibited interesting Thai culture type exhibits. Indoor there was a large auditorium which had shows and other entertainment. Staff were very courteous and welcoming. A great place for family entertainment and definitely worth its price.

Amazing choreography, sophisticated stage and prop design, creative practical effects, diverse costume design, flawless transition. This stage performance has it all. It has a gigantic stage and they made full use of it with a very immersive performance with multiple layers of stage prop that makes for magical experience. The pre-show at 7pm sets the stage well with 3 sets of Thai dance performance. There's some arcade style stations at the courtyard, while a further walk inside will bring you to a mini cultural Thai village. You're able to feed the elephant at the courtyard, feed the fishes at the cultural village, experience classic Thai music and learn about a vast array of Thai culture there. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Recommended to get the upgraded seats to experience the best view at the centre, as the regular seats are placed all over the less-than-ideal areas. Not great when viewing the multi-layered stage prop. The buffet was great too with a wide array of delicious dishes, though not necessary if you've already had dinner before coming.

An excellent way to spend your evening , be it solo or with friends and family . Apart from the show , they have an experience area where they have recreated old Siam village , with artisan, musicians , cooks , elephants and lots more . Best time to be here is 6:00 - One can spend an hour or more interacting with demos Outdoor pre show starts at 7:00 for 30 mins, you can dance with the performers ( wait for them to call you ) Indoor show begins at 7:30 and lasts around 80 to 90 mins.Photography is not allowed during indoor performance . And if one tries the staff will immediately warn you . Buffet dinner is average . They have free shuttle to nearest MRT Check out various websites for discount tickets . Kids below 90 cm can enter free

Amazing performance really enjoyed the show. The preshow entertainment and the replica village were great. The actual show blew me away, costumes set design and choreography were amazing! Truly worth the money. I hope the elephant used for feeding pictures is treated well 😢. Tip; Don’t bother with the premium seats, standard is just fine. I recommend getting there at least 1.5hrs before show starts at 8pm to see all the pre show elements.

The place is a great place to not only watch Thailand's popular cultural show but to see it's vernacular architecture and way of life in the past. I would suggest one gets there early so you get to roam around inside well before the show starts. The show starts on time and it's an engaging one. The stage props and the show's special and lighting effects are amazing. You need to surrender your cameras and tablets before the show starts since they don't allow video recording during the event. No food and drinks except bottled water are also allowed inside.

The show was amazing- huge stage, spectacular sound & visuals effects, elaborate costumes! It's also listed in the Guinness World Records for its large stage production. Take selfies with their actors and actresses after the show since photography is not allowed inside the theatre. Before you leave, join the community dancing outside. It's really fun! :-)

Warehouse 30 is a trendy industrial-style space that has been transformed into a hub for the arts community. Located along Charenkrung Road, this creative project led by Duangrit Bunnag, an influential figure in Thailand's design scene, has revitalized World War II-era warehouses into a vibrant center for local designers and artists. The complex comprises seven renovated warehouses housing various shops, galleries, and cafes.
A vibrant creative hub in Bangkok that perfectly blends an industrial-chic vibe with modern design. Housed in a repurposed warehouse, it offers a dynamic space filled with pop-up shops, artisan vendors, cafes, and creative studios. Whether you’re browsing unique products, attending a workshop, or simply soaking in the creative energy, this place never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxed and inspiring, making Warehouse 30 a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the innovative side of Bangkok.

The place offers several advantages that can be gained by visiting: - You can hide from the scorching sun and cool down a little bit, - I bought a nice sports shoe at the Carnival store, so maybe you can find something there too. - There are a few vintage shops here, so even if you are not into vintage stuff, you can explore them right after grabbing a bite at a café, - There is a cool coffee shop here (a Coffee Roaster by Li-bra-ry) that is connected to a nice souvenir shop, which I recommend dropping by. - If you're interested in street art, you can find great graffiti spots in the vicinity, - There is a cat!

Feels like a wannabe hipster spot trying to be a creative hub, but it misses the mark. Barely anything going on, not much to see, and not even busy. Mostly tourists and expats wandering around. Not sure why it’s listed as a tourist attraction, it’s really not worth the stop.

Super nice galleries woth a lot of options
Elias B — Google review
there are two locations to see graffiti art and street art, worth visit, but there are also other more interesting exhibits or exhibitions in several buildings at the location and neighbourhood, my photos show some of these, eg using different design materials and light and reflections to create arts and artistic forms, actually i am short of words to describe all these interesting artistic work, and the best way is to pay a personal visit and at least spend a whole afternoon to experience all these, i think you will be convinced of my recommendation 😊 # please give me a 'like' ♡, if you think my review useful, thanks!

Creative art space with many shops and a large cafe with a creative twist on the waffle.
Tara N — Google review
It’s an industrial arts space about 1km from Silom that houses art galleries, coffee shop, boutiques etc. that’s worth a visit (when there’s no traffic)
Anne D — Google review
Cool urban redevelopment. Fun thrift shops, design studios and galleries. I enjoyed walking around and going in 'n out of the different spaces. Its not huge, but i was impressed with the quality of goods and art on display, this just reaffirms my believe that BKK is a hugely diverse and creative city. There are a couple of great cafe's nearby if you're looking for. Cuppa.

Easykart.net Go-Karting in Bangkok, located at RCA Plaza, offers an exhilarating go-karting experience for both adults and children. The facility features a well-designed indoor track that provides excitement at every turn. In addition to go-karting, the center also hosts organized races and offers private rentals. Visitors can relax in the lounging area equipped with a pool table, foosball table, and a restaurant. Easykart.
Initially, you’ll be greeted with a warm respect by the staff. They give great service and assistance with explaining the process of payment. We thought this works only in online bookings but they accept walk-ins. They even provide other services such as fooseball, pooltable, and food which is great to use/do when waiting for the race time. Waiting time is good as well, you’ll be entertained by watching other racers play before yourself. Safety is provided, all signs are given, fully equipped with safety hazards and equipment. Overall, it was a great experience and will recommend to others that are visiting this area.
Ivan O — Google review
The go-karting experience was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations. It was genuinely a lot of fun, and the pricing made it even more enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful time throughout our visit. The environment was superb, and it was wonderfully accommodating for children. I highly recommend this venue for a great day out.
Theo C — Google review
The building exterior and entrance looks quite old and need some serious renovations but the go kart facility on 2nd level was fine with air conditioning. Young kids have to be at least 7 years old to ride. The track is indoor but no air conditioning which is not so hot. 499baht/8 mins for a kid is not bad.
Sazzie Z — Google review
Hidden circuit in the building of RCA area. Staffs are very helpful, and it's very fun to experience such a race track. Compete for your great records.

Performing arts theater
Aksra Theatre is a 600-seat modern Baroque-style venue in Bangkok, Thailand. It's renowned for its puppet shows, offering an immersive experience into Thai folktales and regional culture. The theater showcases varied performing arts and is celebrated for its fine Thai craftsmanship. Conveniently located near Victory Monument, it's easily accessible by car or public transportation. The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, making it a great place to hang out before catching a show.
Good place for event. Easy to commute by personal car or public transportation, Bts. Short walk to get in. Many restaurants right around the place for hanging out and grab food and drink before the event. Very beautiful decoration...stunning. Restroom is not very close to the hall with many steps... not easy for elderly and handicap.
Amy N — Google review
Nice and clean. The counter for parking stamp before getting into the theater should be have more staffs, though. There was only one staff at the event and the line was crazy. Needs improvement on this issue.

Charoen Krung 32 Street Art is a must-visit spot in Bangkok for street art enthusiasts. Located near Warehouse 30, this area features an impressive display of large-scale street art, including the famous 'three-eyed Mardi.' While the street can get crowded, visiting early in the morning or after lunch is recommended. Additionally, there are galleries and cafes nearby to explore.
To get there you’ll have to turn right after the post office, walk about 3-5 minutes down and you’ll eventually see it. There are barriers for cars and motorcycles/bikes but as pedestrians you can still look around and walk through. Each piece is quite different from eachother so even though there aren’t a ton they each pop in their own way especially being put next to eachother. Great place if you wandered by it, or are in the area.
Xoom T — Google review
I love street art , but in this short road restaurants and minivan cover all tags and artist’s works … so pity
Eva P — Google review
Cool alley with local art on the walls. We went in the evening before it rained so no one was there. It's free so no need to buy tickets.
David H — Google review
I have been coming here during a visit to Warehouse 30 over the last 10 years and most of the best art by well know street artists has been "tagged" over with the sort of ego driven "tag name" type which is more of an exaggerated extra large signature without the artwork. It was sad to see they even "tagged" over Alexface works. Hopefully someone will paint over these rude taggings with actual artwork. Please if you feel the need to paint your name somewhere, do not do it over someone else's actual art. The are a few "tags" that do contain both artwork and a large signature "tag".
Tara N — Google review
Nice walk to check out the alleys and local street art. Unfortunately it was drizzling followed by heavy rain thus I had to make a detour to Warehouse 30 which is also nearby. This is great for people who like to explore and take their time to roam and take photos.
Eva C — Google review
Nothing special. My hostel was only 15 minutes away and I decide to visit. But was not worth if I spent with transport to go there. It’s only a small street with some arts.
Mariane M — Google review
Nice old school Graffiti on a alley w lots of street food. Good stop off on the way to Talat Noi
Chad M — Google review
Decent, I mean the whole surroundings weren’t the best so you’d only come here for some graffiti/street art. Put sunscreen on if you’re gonna be walking around. It was definitely too hot.

Finally managed to go there at last. Short distance walk from end of boat ride where I commonly used when heading to Siam discovery area. Wow a visit n relaxation place with hot or cold beverages avail there. Wasn't disappointed, place probably belongs to a publisher. A nice heritage indeed.
