Sivalai Clubhouse Ozone Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts offers a refreshing swimming experience for a nominal entrance fee. Visitors can also enjoy dining options and tennis facilities on-site. The pool area is well-maintained, with the option to use lockers if you bring your own lock and key. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and tranquility of the surroundings, making it a highly recommended spot for relaxation.
Super nice, clean pool with ozone water. Perfect for a dip on a hot day but also for a swim practice. The staff was really nice, there is a place to buy snacks and drinks, couldnt ask for more. The entrance is 150 baht. Definitely recommend
Hana V — Google review
The staff were welcoming and friendly. They explained the facilitates available in perfect English and helped us book a tennis court, rent rackets/balls and pool access. The tennis court was in great condition and the pool was lovely and clean! There are sun loungers around the pool that are in the sun from the morning till early afternoon. Highly recommend, thank you 😊
Lydia S — Google review
Fantastic pool. Really helpful staff. I called in advance to check if I could lap swim and they said they would put a lane rope in for me. Was one kid getting a lesson in the rest of the pool and that was it. Just a short taxi ride from downtown.
Alistair S — Google review
I was in Bangkok my first day, had quite a jet leg and just wanted to go swimming before heading to bed. And it was the perfect place! The pool is 25m long and has 5lanes, enough space! The water was quite cold but refreshing on the warm days. To top it all the head of the swimming center was soooo friendly! We talked for some time, she gave me really nice advices for the city and I left with a very big smile om my face!:)
Sea_1909 — Google review
I was looking for a swimming pool to take a dip during the hot days of april-may, and I found this lovely and quiet place. An ozone swimming pool is using mainly ozone to clean and disinfect the water + a very small amount of chlorine. I didn't smell chlorine, not around the pool, nor in the pool, and not on my swimming suit . What a relief ! No itching skin either. The entrance price is very reasonable at 150 bahts for a 25 meters long pool, reclining chairs , and a small café selling snacks. The staff is smiling and friendly. What else do you want ?
Muriel Z — Google review
I was looking for a place to swim and get a bit of training in while in Bangkok and came across Sivalai. I highly recommend this gem in the concrete jungle. Lovely pool and facility which I had more or less to myself the first time I went. The second time it was great doing my laps next to the kids doing squad training and watching them working hard. Entry was 150 bhat and was worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful to me as a foreign visitor and I'll definitely be back when in Bangkok again.
Andrew T — Google review
Really nice place with courts in good condition and a super friendly staff! Would be nice if it's becomes possible to buy new tennis balls from the counter

Nice pool to refresh and swim. Entrance ticket is 100 baht. You can also eat and play tennis in the same place

Swimming
Wanjira Swimming Pool is a family-friendly outdoor pool located in the heart of Bang Chak district. It offers a separate pool for small children, making it suitable for both adults and kids. For just 80 Baht per visit, families can enjoy a full day of fun and swimming in a clean and idyllic setting. The facility is well-maintained, with clean water and friendly staff. It's also a quiet place with plenty of sun, perfect for sports activities.
I live in Bang Chak and this pool is a short bicycle ride from my home. I swim in the morning and there is usually only one other person there. The water is clean and the facility is well maintained. Everyone is friendly except the dog, but thankfully it is on a leash. I highly recommend it for everyone including children.
Joel U — Google review
It’s clean enough for me! I still going here once a week. The entry free is 100baht but they also offer membership~
Black C — Google review
That is the perfect public swimming pool - simple rules, clean water, cheap price (100 bath one time or 4000 bath per year). Nice quiet place for swimming. Open from 8 am to 7 pm every day
Fedor B — Google review
Pool is clean, but pricing weird and staff unfriendly. 100 baht per person, including kids and they have a membership option that doesn't seem like much of a deal either. If you only swim occasionally the good news is that the pool is hardly crowded and other patrons are friendly.
Dwight T — Google review
Old pool, reasonably clean, well maintained except sometime when the filter is broken it can take many days to get fixed. Good parking facility. Membership is not needed, and becoming a member is not worth it unless you swim more than 3 times a week every week. Friendly staff. There is a children pool and a swimming instructor.
Visanu E — Google review
Perfect for sport but no long chairs for sun tan
P-Y ( — Google review
Not a bad pool. 25m but hard to get to.
Anthony W — Google review
Very nice swimming pool in remote Sukhumvit Area. If you're in OnNut till Bearing area, this is the only choice for public swimming pool. 80 THB per entry regardless of how much time one spends in pool. Good cleaning and nice atmosphere.

Swimming pool
Nestled in the Pathumwan neighborhood, Lumphini Park Outdoor Swimming Pool offers a unique swimming experience surrounded by natural beauty. The 25-meter pool with six lanes requires a yearly membership, which costs about 40 THB. To become a member, you need to obtain a medical certificate from any hospital or clinic and present it along with a passport photocopy at the pool reception. Additionally, wearing a hat is mandatory and can be purchased at nearby stores.
The facilities and the pool are old but it’s wonderful to come for a swim in Lumpini park 😊 To apply for membership : Annual Membership : 300 THB 1h30min entry fee : 150 THB *Only accept cash $ You need a medical certificate, your passport and a copy of your passport to submit your application ; they will take a picture of you and print your membership card while you take your first swim 😊 They swimsuit policy is strict, nothing sexy which means even a one piece suit may not be allowed, you need to cover the shoulders and butt for the ladies. Bring your hat like any other public swimming pool ⭐️🏊‍♂️

Avoid !!!!! Forced To c a doc First to receive permission to swim which is rediculous..Passport Copy..Fee to become member plus hight entrance Fee plus ....unfriendly staff..there are much better Pools within bkk
Tot — Google review
This pool is very nice and not crowded at all. Run by a friendly lady and a man. it used to be able to get in very cheap but when I was there this summer 2023 the fee was 180 baats. I am a senior so I got the discount ,was 80 baats. you must go through a medical check up at the doctor's office across the rama 4th road which is not that far from the swimming pool. Enjoy !
Shuhay T — Google review
This is great initiative by the administration. The youth center is very well maintained and so is the swimming pool. You'll need a membership at Lumphini Youth center to access the swimming pool. The membership cost is insane- 40 baht for a year. You'll need a medical certificate as well for swimming pool access and membership. They have batches , which means you can't show up at anytime and enter the pool. Do check the schedule before visiting
Nidhin P — Google review
Read the rules and how to apply for access before you go. Your poor research will result in a bad experience. The rules for swimming are clear and the application process is detailed. The staff are great and extremely helpful. Good lap pool and I highly recommend for swimming.
Scott B — Google review
This is a great outdoor pool. You have to be a member but it’s quite straightforward. Get a medical certificate from any hospital/clinic (about THB1,000) and take it it with passport photocopy to pool reception and they make you a membership card. It’s THB40 for the year THB15 each swim and THB5 for a locker. MUST wear a hat. Hats can be bought at Decathlon Tesco’s and MBK. Swimming is in sessions (see picture). If you are walking distance from the pool for more than a week it’s definitely worth it 👍
Jenny R — Google review
Swimming pool as well as general membership at lumpini youth centre has changed to dual-priced xenophobic rates. Thais and especially foreigners should boycott it. The same has happened at benjasiri park pool. The park near mochit also has a pool, it's far from me so i've not been there to check prices. The swimming pool at suan rama 9 park does not seem to be run in the same way as the park pools in central bangkok and prices there seem to be the same for everybody (though 60? baht rather than 15). 60 baht is about the same as most privately run pools in bangkok charge. Hua mak sports centre pool also seems to be fair for all, that was 50 baht from memory and an extra 10 baht in the evening.
P J — Google review
Used to swim here one or two times a week for years before the shutdown due to Covid. Just recently learnt about the new dual pricing, so I guess foreigners are no longer welcomed ...

The Science Center for Education, also known as the Bangkok Planetarium, has been captivating visitors since 1992. This educational facility offers a wide range of interactive experiments and exhibits covering various scientific disciplines such as physics, anthropology, ecology, and space exploration. Located conveniently in the city center near BTS Ekkamai station, it's a popular destination for school trips and family outings.
Really good, the ticket price is incredibly cheap, especially considering how much we learned from both the festival and the sky show. The sky show itself is about 40 minutes long. There's no assigned seating, so I recommend arriving early to choose a back row seat for a better view. The food at the canteen is also very affordable, I got seafood fried rice for only Thb 50. They also have street coffee, no AC
Pitchayapat C — Google review
The Science Centre for Education in Bangkok is a great place for kids and families, offering interactive and educational exhibits. I happened to visit on a holiday, so entry was free, which was a nice bonus. The center provides informative displays that are engaging for both children and adults, making it a worthwhile visit. You can easily spend 3-4 hours exploring the exhibits. Unfortunately, I missed the planetarium show, which is said to be a highlight. Some equipment could use better maintenance, but overall, it’s a good learning space for curious minds.
Jayakrishnan N — Google review
The science centre was not too bad the entry fee was also cheap, there a planetarium as well but that scheduled at 1.00PM. There are 3 floors of science exhibits from clean energy, evolution, sight and sounds, space and time and geology are some of the scientific areas. For what you pay for its a great outing to keep children entertained. Some of the exhibitions have hands on activities. There also a canteen located on the vicinity as I assume it needs to support visitors and school children's during there excursions.
William L — Google review
Dropped by before work, so I didn't really have a lot of time to experience all the exhibitions. I enjoyed the green energy & waste management exhibition, it's very timely and addresses important issues that people of all age groups should be aware of. I wasn't too impressed by the other exhibition halls, though. Many spaces seem to be abandoned or neglected. There should be more explanations about which buildings, halls/rooms and exhibitions are active and maintained. It seemed a bit unorganized, which is a pity. Overall it's still a good public education center. The entry fee is very affordable which makes this place accessible to many groups of people. I went here on a weekday in the morning so there were no crowds.
Nat S — Google review
The entry fee was 50 for adult and 30 for child. For the entry fee, it was a good place to spend some time focused on the kids. However the place is very outdated. They had alot of renovation work going on inside. The Planetarium only had 1 English show time per week so would be worth checking the time if interested. They had large water lizards in the pond outside which was a added bonus to the day.
Amy Y — Google review
Really interesting and must visit place for everyone who likes Science. It is designed for every age to inspire people.

The event aims to inspire participants, particularly young people, to gain knowledge, acquire scientific skills, learn through hands-on practice and consequently apply them to their daily lives. Subway station
The National Stadium, also known as Sanamkilla Hengchart in Thai, is conveniently located next to the MBK center and connected to the BTS line. It's a popular stop for visitors heading to Chulalongkorn University, free museums, and nearby attractions. The station provides easy access to shopping at MBK mall and dining options on the 6th floor. Additionally, there are currency exchange services and a Lotus store within walking distance.
This is end station of the Silom Line. The Silom Line goes south (eg. icon Siam). If you want to go to the airport(drop at Phaya Thai station and change the Airport Rail Link) or chatuchak (drop at Mo Chit station) these are on the Sukhumvit Line. To change to the Sukhumvit Line, you just need to take one station to Siam BTS station (interchange) get off and find the platform to change to Sukhumvit Line. If you're going to the airport or chatuchak, look out for the train going in the direction of "Khu Khot" you should see signs indicating this direction. Good time about this station. Walking distance to MBK and usually the trains are rather empty since it's the last or first station.
Dennis T — Google review
On June 1, 2025, Bangkok hosted the largest Pride celebration in Thai history—beginning at National Stadium BTS and stretching down Rama I Road with a 200-meter rainbow flag, one of the longest ever publicly displayed. The march, themed Right to Love 2025, marked a historic moment as Thailand moves forward with marriage equality. From the station platform, you could see thousands gathering below, unified by color, purpose, and possibility. The city didn’t just celebrate—it stepped into a new era.
SAKA I — Google review
National Stadium BTS Station is clean, convenient, and easy to navigate. It’s at the end of the Silom Line, making it a key access point for tourists. The station is close to MBK Center, and several hotels, with clear signage and helpful staff. Perfect for shopping, dining, and exploring central Bangkok.
Anton N — Google review
MBK BTS station. Reminds me of London Overground the BTS. It is clean and easy to use the train and station.
Vin C — Google review
A OK, common BTS station. Here starts/ends Silom Line.
Paul C — Google review
Station has an exit right next to MBK. ♿ Accessibility: To get to the skywalk (MBK and Siam Discovery) you need to take a wheelchair lift. When arriving at the station it's fine, because there will always be someone following to help. On the way back into the station, there might not always be a guard to help so you might need to ask a passerby to call someone at the station (if you're traveling alone) This could easily have been a ramp, because there's enough space. Would have been better if a ramp was built!
Outboundclub B — Google review
The end stop of BTS silom line. It's pretty picturesque here

MBK centre is right next to this station. Just outside the gates. This station is fairly empty and has little staff which can make it slower to pass through with a push chair with the assissted gate.

The SAT Swimming Pool is a part of the SAT sports center, offering a range of facilities including two large 50-meter indoor pools and a diving pool. In addition to swimming, the center provides amenities for various activities such as football fields, running tracks, and biking. The complex also offers swimming courses with modern equipment and excellent service. It is known for being the training ground for synchronized teams and water polo teams, as well as attracting triathletes for serious workouts.
Kind staff, beautiful facility, gorgeous outdoor pool. There’s time to lane swim early in the morning 6:30-10 am. National swim teams and water polo teams practice here. Showers and toilets clean. Adult entry for lane swim 50 tbh and elders were free :).
Serena — Google review
Very kind staff. There are 3 pools. One 50m general pool, one 50m training pool, one 25m training deep pool for diving In order to swim for 50m you will follow this schedule: Tues - Fri 10:30-11:30 Tues - Sun 13:00-15:30 Other time the 50m general pool will be divided in 25m lanes. And this pool is only around 1.4m deep.

I was a member of SAT pool during the all year 2016. Membership is at around 800 to 900 THB + 25THB per session (50THB after 6pm). The pool is a 50 meter olympic pool inaugurated for the ASEAN Games in 1998. Sinchronized team / water polo team train there. The infrastructure has not been maintained but still is a decent place for a serious workout. Some triathletes train there too. SAT pool, along with SAT Fitness center and their running track is a state-owned complex with reasonable fee. I strongly suggest this sport complex for serious workout.

Nestled atop a picturesque golf course, the Suan Dusit Swimming Pool is an outdoor Olympic-sized facility featuring eight lanes, making it perfect for both serious swimmers and those looking to unwind. Conveniently located near a BTS train station, this pool is easily accessible for visitors. The serene environment of the university campus, surrounded by lush greenery, adds to its charm. With clean facilities and a roof cover providing shade from the sun, it's an ideal spot for relaxation or exercise.

Swimming
Swan Swimming Pool is a clean and affordable facility offering two outdoor shaded pools: a 25-meter, 5-lane adult pool and a children's pool. The swimming courses for children are conducted by attentive professionals using up-to-date equipment. The main pool is not very deep, with clearly divided lanes for swimming and exercise. While some find the chlorine levels slightly high, overall it's considered a good place to swim and relax. Additionally, the instructors are praised for being helpful and understanding.
Very helpful and understanding people 👌 Perfect if you just want to swim, and very cheap compared to any other places with swimming pool.

(Translated by Google) This swimming pool is clean. The price is not expensive, 120 baht for adults. There are many children learning to swim. But not to the point of being tight. But there's a little too much chlorine. It's quite an eyesore. Overall good. Swimming pool
Phuti Anant Swimming Pool, located near the Bang Na BTS train station, is a popular spot for swimmers. This outdoor Olympic-sized pool boasts eight lanes and is meticulously maintained to meet strict international standards. With an entrance fee of 60THB (40THB for kids), it can get crowded on weekends when swimming classes are in session. The pool's depth of around 2 meters makes it suitable for serious swimmers, and parking is available nearby.
Nice pool. 50m Olympic pool not particularly long walk from BTS. It's clean and quiet and cost me 60baht per person. If you are a chick, make sure you bring a swimming hat. The setting is also nice, as it is situated between a golf course and a driving range.
Wa0w W — Google review
Used to love this pool. Easy parking, open on ph and well maintained. No need for bs medical certs and member cards like the science centre pool, which is nice but a bit of a hassle. Until now, when they implemented backwards thinking dual pricing (different pricing for foreigners and locals). Shame on you. Jai lai.
Konstant H — Google review
50-m, 8-lane outdoor pool. 60 baht to use the pool, but you can sit poolside for free. Deep compared to Japanese pools (which are around 1 m). Water comes up to my shoulders either end (I stand 193 cm) and a couple of cm over my head in the middle. Also unlike Japan no hassle about having to cover tattoos.
TheTokyoBlade — Google review
Clean enough to practice every day. But a bit crowded in the evening regarding the limited lanes.
Suparat S — Google review
Nobody the afternoon which is great. (Came 15 days+) After 5pm some swimming lessons starting but only take 4 lines, which still possible to swim decently in the others. Cheap entry and good people working there. Enjoy 😊

สองมาตรฐาน(Double standard) For foreigner 120B, For Thai 60B This place is not good for foreigners anymore. Until December 2024, entrance fee is 60B for all nationalities, but since January 2025 foreigners have to pay double price 120B.
Y S — Google review
Budget public swimming pool from Thai Navy. Entrance fee for non member is 60THB (40THB for kids) The pool is 50m long and a little deep (around 2 meters) so be careful. It could be crowded especially during weekend when parents bring their kids for swimming class. Most of the time the navy swimming club will take 5-6 lanes for their athletes so you have to share the remaining 2 lanes with others. Parking lot available but you can also park at the other area like next to the tennis court. It's a walkable distance.
Wanniwat N — Google review
The water is clean. Really, it's clean, you can open the eyes inside the water. It's a 50 meter long pool. In a sunny day you will be sun burnt so be careful. There is enough parking space and even a dive center if you are into it.

The Olympic Club is conveniently located near the National Stadium BTS stop, making it easily accessible. The club offers a range of facilities including a lap swimming pool with two hot tubs and a refreshing breeze on the eighth floor. Additionally, their well-equipped gym boasts an extensive selection of cardio machines. Visitors can also enjoy other sports amenities such as badminton and table tennis. Overall, The Olympic Club in Bangkok provides a great fitness center experience for its members.
Pool area is very nice for lap swimming (25m) and also with 2 hot tubs. There's a nice breeze in the evening because it's about 8 floors up. Gym is one of the better gyms I've been in. A particularly wide range of cardio machines. There's a sport area with badminton table tennis etc, not sure if you need to book, probably. Think there's a steam room somewhere as well.

Swimming pool
Chulabhorn Walailak Swimming Pool, situated near Kasetsart University, is easily accessible to both university members and the public. The entry fee is affordable at 80 THB, with discounted rates for students and staff. The facility boasts two outdoor pools: a large Olympic-sized 50-meter diving pool and a 25-meter, 6-lane swimming pool.
Very nice swimmingpool. Entry 80baht
Dennis R — Google review
The changing rooms and washrooms are, as is usually the case in Thailand, of a poor standard, but the 25 and 50 m swimming pools with lanes are enjoyable. The changing rooms should be equipped with key card-operated lockers and air conditioning during a major renovation.
Markku L — Google review
Nice pool. 50m. Quiet. Well laid out. Clean. Friendly staff. 80 Bath entrance fee for min members. Very much worth it
Reina — Google review
80 baht entry. Came for the diving pool. It’s closed. Mediocre pool and facilities. Can definitely go somewhere else
Milo L — Google review
As a practical person, the entry free for public as amount as 80 Baht is quite expensive. Even if you choose to buy a membership, you still have to pay 50 Baht for entry fee with 500 Baht annual membership fee :( Hope they will make new policy by reducing public entry fee with membership. For Kasetsart University (KU) Students and Staff, or any Government Officials, there are different annual fee and entry for each person. But the different is huge when you pay as public :( Too bad. The fare may be based on the condition that they provide four different pools, 80 cm (considered kid pool) and 120 cm depth pool (considered adult pool) with 25 meters length standard pool and six lanes, 180 cm depth with 50 meters length (olympic size) and 3 meters depth for diving pool. But, the cleanliness is the thing I consider most. The opening hours is suitable for the need to swim, 6 AM till 8 PM. As I consider about the cleanliness, I warn you, it is better for you to have a swim in the morning, before 9 AM. Beyond that time, the water change into a cloudy. The location of the pool is inside KU area. But, no worries, mates. There are campus bus which is free of charge, with Bus Number 1 or 3 are the closest stop to the Pool. As it is a swimming under an university management, beware to check their opening days. In every month, they may close due to something. Overall, it is a good place for you to swim. Cheers!
Eiges E — Google review
Swimmung pool inside Kasetsart University. For KU students just need to pay 30 Baht for a day pass.. Or 100 for a whole year pass and just pay 10 Baht per entry 👌
