AIRE Ancient Baths New York · Tribeca is a part of an international spa chain that offers a serene environment for bathing and treatments. The spa features various baths to choose from, including an ice water plunge bath and a steamy aromatic hammam inspired by Greco-Roman and Ottoman styles. The grotto housing the baths is adorned with candles, creating a tranquil atmosphere with soft music in the background.
It was well worth the wait. Closed for renovations the Tribeca location for AIRE ancient baths is open and it was well worth the wait. As first timers we were extremely excited to finally get our massages. The customer services was everything we expected. Any calls I made prior to our appointment were handled in a professional and respectful manner. Day of our appointment, we were greeted and checked in immediately. The entire staff made us feel welcome and were just so pleasant. My masseuse was amazing. I felt so relaxed during the massage I definitely fell asleep for a few lol. Any point of tension she worked out the knot on. The baths were wonderful. Loved that they offered various options (cold plunges, jacuzzi, salt bath, high temp bath and what I’ll call the medium temp bath). Also huge fan of the sauna. Huge fan that even after the massage they offered additional baths that you could relax it. My favorite because it was such a beautiful day in NYC had the glass roof opened so you could enjoy the beautiful sky. The add ons were worth it for us. During the initial bath experience we enjoyed a Pressed juice. It was refreshing. Our appointment was in the morning. After our massage we enjoyed chocolates and non-alcoholic rośe. Also perfect and delicious. A sweet and refreshing snack post massage. Lastly, loved the decor. The dark feel with candles was so relaxing. Also, I’m a huge fan of the brick. I felt transported somewhere else and not in busy NYC. Thank you again to the amazing staff. Can’t wait to return!

This is the best spa I've visited thus far. Upon arriving, you are greeted with a pleasant and inviting scent. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the space. The various baths were very relaxing and strategically placed throughout the space, both above and underground. The candle lit atmosphere was truly impressive! The massage room was a bit cool and I thought after my massage, I would have to get back into my cold, wet swimsuit. To my surprise, the massage therapist, I forgot her name, short, fair-skinned with glasses, so very pleasant, she returned my swimsuit, water shoes and robe warm and almost dry. That was a huge plus. After my massage and bath experience, I returned to the locker room, where you can also find relaxing showers, Dyson hair dryers, lotions, hairspray, diffusers, you name it, Aire has it. This was truly an experience to remember, it's safe to say I'll be returning.

Brought my wife here for her 70th birthday. She was thrilled with every aspect of this lovely place, the pools, the staff (shout out to Carmen!!) the entire ambiance. She even tried the cold plunge pool! She has been feeling ache-y as this birthday approached and all the pools and sauna helped her feel much better!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a day at Aire Ancient Bathhouse, and it was truly a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who offered me a refreshing glass of virgin sparkling champagne and a piece of decadent chocolate, such a thoughtful and luxurious touch that immediately set the tone for the day. The ambiance of the bathhouse was serene and calming, with soft lighting and soothing music creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The different temperature pools were a highlight of the experience. I especially enjoyed moving between the hot, warm, and cold pools, each providing a unique and rejuvenating experience. The hot pools eased my muscles, while the cooler ones invigorated my senses, and the contrast between the temperatures felt incredibly therapeutic. Throughout my time at Aire, every staff member was exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring I had everything | needed while respecting my space. The attention to detail and the overall quality of the spa experience made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. From the peaceful atmosphere to the luxurious treatments and thoughtful touches, my time at Aire Ancient Bathhouse was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating day of self care. The perfect place for couples mostly. By the way, this was at the new location on the Upper East Side, on its opening day! There’s nothing better than being among the first to use the space, without having to worry about cleanliness or hygiene concerns!!!

My boyfriend booked me a spa package with a 75 minute massage for my birthday. As a new mom I was very much looking forward to this me time & getting some much needed pampering. Coming here has been on my list for a while and I’m sad to say that I left very dissatisfied. I waited around the spa for a very long time to be called for my massage. Someone came by to the jacuzzi area and called out a name, I asked if it was mine, and he said no but that he would come back for me in a couple minutes. Time continued to go by and he never came back so I went to sit down at the meditation area in order to make myself VISIBLE and nothing. I even asked someone from the staff what time it was so they would remember me. Once 2 hours had gone by I went to ask someone how much longer it would take because I had dinner reservations only to be told that someone else was at my massage and that they could not fit me in that day. I called my boyfriend to let him know and when he came by in person to get things sorted out the receptionist said my name was called and I didn’t respond. Essentially blaming me, which is the reason I’m writing this review because why would I not take a massage that is paid for?! I also was supposed to get one of the $15 juices they offer but never did. The whole experience felt very disorganized and for the amount of money it cost its simply unacceptable. The manager inside the spa was accommodating & did offer me to reschedule + rosé/chocolates which I accepted however it creates extra scheduling and organizing with a one year old. Hoping my second visit is better than the first. Side note for the ladies: very limited seating to get your hair/makeup done afterwards and the lighting is not great.

My recent visit to Ancient Bath was disappointing. Rather than feeling welcomed and relaxed, I felt like an unwelcome guest under constant supervision. Staff seemed more focused on enforcing rules and monitoring behavior than on ensuring client comfort. The “whisper only” policy was taken to an extreme — I felt uneasy even speaking softly or laughing, which took away from the peaceful experience I was hoping for. The strict no-phone rule also felt excessive. For the price point, I expected a more balanced and guest-centered environment, not one that felt restrictive or overly controlled. Overall, the atmosphere was tense rather than tranquil. I truly hope management reconsiders their approach so guests can feel comfortable, relaxed, and valued during their visit.
Monie — Google review
friends gifted me a 30min massage here and with their weekday promo, i was able to get 90min of baths time — definitely think it’s worth it! also coming on a weekday was perfect crowd-wise, very relaxing. loved the masseuse, heated saltwater pool, and juice the most. definitely more of a couples thing but still a fun solo activity! would come back!
Samira R — Google review
This is a wonderfully cozy spot to truly relax and unwind. The atmosphere is top-notch and the overall experience is highly recommended. The massages were decent and certainly helped set a tranquil mood. A great escape!

Nestled in a beautiful Park Avenue tower, Oasis Day Spa offers a serene retreat from the bustling city. The spa's subterranean space exudes comfort with its salt therapy chamber and tranquil relaxation room adorned with flowers, healthy snacks, and refreshing beverages. Guests can indulge in an array of treatments including body scrubs, wraps, Vichy showers, and facials featuring premium products.
I had the best facial with Marzena! She was so kind and gentle and made it such a relaxing experiencing while also giving my skin exactly what it needed to look fresh and rejuvenated. One of the best facials I have ever had, will definitely be back!

Amazing place, a real stand out in spa's in every way. Very soothing atmosphere, ultra clean air and facilities. Sauna in mens locker room. I came early and relaxed in a softly lit lounge with water and tea etc. Everyone was in very soft robes, destressing before treatment. A hidden place to relax in an easy to reach location. Elisa was great with deep tissue massage. I have been going to Physical Therapist. Elisa took time before to make sure she knew how I was feeling. After , she took time to explain how twisted my back muscles were. The next few days I was feeling almost pain free. I am going back for sure. I have taken the time to write this review because of how nice this spa is and most importantly how much the massage really helped remove the pain for weeks now. Thanks Elisa J

I had a fantastic facial and massage - Crystal and Alexia were both outstanding. I left feeling like a new person! The rest of the staff was also great. Very friendly, warm and accommodating. It's a nice spa and I bought the robe since I liked it so much! I'm a spa fanatic and these services were among the best I've had. I'm glad I found a great spa in my local area. I'll be back for sure.

If you want the best massage, go see Christine at Oasis Day Spa. She is knowledgeable and professional. She listened to my needs and tailored my massage to my specific problem areas. The pressure was exactly prefect and she checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable. I felt so much better when the massage was over and the very next day my back was nearly healed.
Rita P — Google review
My time here was amazing! The staff was friendly. The entire spa was clean, with a relaxing atmosphere and decor. I had the 60 minute Clinical Massage and my masseuse was soft spoken and kind. I never had to ask him to adjust the pressure but he did check in with me. He used hot towels multiple times which felt amazing and had a warm cucumber water waiting me after the massage was done. I sat in the dry sauna for 10 minutes at the end and left feeling relaxed and happy. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Shani S — Google review
Very clean and a nice space but the front desk staff weren't especially friendly and the massage was one of the worst I ever had. Too bad, my massage therapist was nice but she seemed to be taking it easy on her hands - which I get - but it doesn't make for a good deep-tissue massage.
Arthur R — Google review
Worst massage I’ve ever received. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage. Upon the start of the massage, I was receiving a light touch, non-deep tissue massage and asked the masseuse to go firmer, to which she responded that it was as firm as she was able to go. Then she started asking my advice on specific techniques that should be expected to be known by someone who supposedly specialized in deep tissue massages. I asked her if I could end the massage early, and she very unprofessionally brought a manager into my massage room while I was unclothed. The manager very poorly dealt with the situation and make the experience even worse through her lack of care about customer experience and the quality of her offerings.

Oasis Day Spa-an unexpected delightful experience in the Big Apple. It's truly an underground Oasis. From first entering through the side of the main street, I immediately felt calmer. This is my first experience in a spa like this. Albeit super shy, the experience was wonderful. Front desk associates were super polite. After check in, you'll be taken to the locker room area in which you'll strip down into your birthday suit. They provide a nice robe and slippers of your size. (Although, they do have a size limit for the larger feet) the main collaborative area with other clients is tranquil. Provided were lemon or cucumber water. Small snacks such as banana chips and mixed nuts were also self serve. For some calm, there's chamomile tea and more. My masseuse, Kenny, walked me through to our room. The cute part along walking the halls were the little sachets of lavender, which were indicators for rooms occupied. I had gotten the deep tissue massage. Boy, did he introduce me to new knots i didn't know i had! Haha 🤣 he was very respectful and knowledgeable on his craft as he took time on certain areas in which i had injuries (which he didn't know about before hand. Example-knee) with the full body massage, you may request certain areas to be focused on alongside. He also told me beforehand if there were certain areas that i would prefer he not go to, i to tell him. Which was a great consideration! After the massage, which, was wow, i went back to the main area to rest a bit. In the women's locker room was a small sauna. The recommended time is 30 minutes, with instructions provided on the outside. Overall, i spent 2.5 hours here. Enjoying the ambiance alongside looking at their store which had items such as: creams, serums, candles and more. I'll be back soon :) 10/10 recommend.

Great Jones Spa, located in Noho, is a serene and luxurious retreat offering classic treatments such as aromatherapy massages, HydraFacials, and body scrubs. What sets it apart is the water lounge featuring a three-story waterfall, cold-plunge pool, whirlpool, eucalyptus-scented steam room, and river rock sauna. Access to the water lounge is complimentary with treatments over $100.
I’ve been coming here since 2008 🙈 maybe even earlier. You are a real New Yorker when you go here on a weekday. 10-3pm is the sweet spot. The sauna is legit the best one in nyc. The cold plunge -back and forth - with a massage will set you right.
E Æ — Google review
Came here in May of 2025 with my best friend. We got massages that were good, but we also wanted to enjoy the other amenities. The sauna and steam rooms were too hot for us, so we wanted to get into the pool. The pool looked disgusting like there were bodily fluids floating around in it. I was so put off by what I saw that I opted to waste an hour sitting around the pool in lounge chairs. How do they not clean their facilities before opening up to the public? Totally gross. Never again.
Mother S — Google review
Staff was friendly and helpful. There were 4 of us and all four of us had amazing massages. All of them different and specific to our personal needs. We used the hot tub, cold plunge, sauna and showers. Everything was clean. The overall ambiance was peaceful and accommodating. Will absolutely return.

I had the Signature Massage with Louis at Great Jones Spa & it was amazing. From start to finish, it was peaceful, deeply relaxing, & just what I needed. The spa itself is clean & well-kept, the ambience calming, & Louis did an exceptional job — attentive, skilled, perfect pressure. Overall: a great experience. I definitely recommend Great Jones Spa — I’ll be going back to try their other services.

My partner and I have been here twice for aromatherapy massage and to enjoy the water spa. Both times have been a delight . . . The LMTs are professional and skilled, making us feel entirely comfortable. The water spa is wonderfully relaxing, and has always been very clean when we visit. 5/5
Gabriel M — Google review
I have been going to this spa for the last few years now. Some times just for the tranquility of the water lounge but most often for massages. I’ve always enjoyed my massages however today’s experience wit Annette was by far the best!! I notified her that I’ve recently been struggling with sciatic nerve pain so she focused a lot on stretching and mobility assistance in the hip area. Overall 11/10!! Would recommend
Omar F — Google review
I was overdue for a self care day and been sitting on a gift certificate I got for about 3years now that I thought it was expired but luckily for me there’s no expiration date on gift certificate. I booked a Swedish massage for 60mins and while I was suppose to be relaxing I was chatting it up. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and it was just what I needed. I love how small and secluded the spa is. It was clean and honestly almost fell asleep hearing the water running. From checking in to checking out was a smooth and easy process. Would definitely revisit and recommend to others.
Whitney W — Google review
I've been here twice and both times my massage with Mark was amazing! The Sauna and steam and the plentiful snacks are the best amenities. The pool is ok, it's small and not that hot. The lounge area isn't the most comfortable for my taste. The thing that ruins it for me is how the architecture of the place makes the loudest voices even louder. There was a group of friends sitting around incessantly complaining about work and life without any consideration for how loud they were being. There should be quiet hours/days, or silent hours/days offered or at least ample signage to keep voices low. I go to spas to help let go of the world outside and relax, it's pretty hard to do when someone is the star of their own show.

Rescue Spa, located in Flatiron, New York, is a popular urban wellness retreat offering a wide range of spa treatments. The spacious duplex houses a hair salon, nail studio, and fourteen treatment rooms along with a full beauty boutique. What sets this spa apart are its skin-perfecting facials designed by acclaimed facialist Danuta Mieloch. The highly customizable treatments combine the latest scientific advances with proven techniques for optimal results.
Rescue Spa NYC is truly my sanctuary in the city. I’ve been coming consistently for 3 years, and every visit is absolute bliss. I book esthetician-led facials, full-body massages with Thomas (who is phenomenal), and hair trims/color with their experienced and professional team. The atmosphere is serene, the service is top-tier, and the products they use are luxurious and effective. It’s the best day spa experience—hands down. I always leave feeling refreshed, glowing, and deeply cared for. Love it here!

Rescue Spa is a truly luxurious experience. The facials are exceptional—my skin has never looked better! While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth it. The spa is gorgeous, and they offer excellent products for purchase.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the most amazing experience with Alma at Rescue Spa! She gave me an incredible facial with deep yet gentle extractions, a soothing face mask, and an unforgettable massage that left my skin glowing and my mind relaxed. Alma is truly gifted; every step felt customized and luxurious. The spa itself is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located in one of the best areas of NYC; super convenient and elegant. I’ve already booked my next appointment in five weeks (mandatory for my skin now!), and I’m also booking one for my spouse because he deserves to experience how wonderful this place is too. If you’re looking for a high-end facial and total relaxation, Rescue Spa and Alma are perfection.

Rescue spa to the rescue! I have followed Jolanta over the years and had a pleasure to have a facial with her at rescue spa. Space is calm and relaxing. Room is very calm and facial was above and beyond. Jolanta skillfull hands did wonder on my skin. Would definitely come back again.

Buyer beware: prices shown at booking are now cash only. They now charge an additional 3% for using a credit card (like the one you guaranteed your booking with) at checkout and won’t notify you until after you’ve received service. This applies to product, too, which you can buy on their website with your credit card for no additional markup.
Jeris B — Google review
Pros: In the moment, facial was AMAZING - they use steam, thorough extractions, relaxing, neck/chest massage was fantastic where some other spas only focus on face and more skincare and less massage. Salon Is beautiful and clean. Cons: can’t tip on credit card, which meant I couldn’t expense tip. Work-around was to screenshot Venmo payment. Annoying extra step, especially when taking clients. In the days after, my skin didn’t look healthy or improved. I developed tiny hard bumps all over my face. Some would pop, some wouldn’t. I called salon, they asked me to send photos which I did… they said they would have a specialist call me. I wanted to know what to do. Exfoliate, was it an allergy, etc. I never got a call. It’s 4 days post-facial and bumps have largely gone down, but I never got a call. To summarize: facial feels great but didn’t actually improve skin in my experience.
Kari D — Google review
Rescue Spa had high ratings online, so I booked a Rescue Facial for myself. My esthetician was rough from the get go. She used too much pressure and was too fast during the cleansing portion of the facial. The facial massage was also really rough; again, way too strong and fast. I had to ask the esthetician to be more gentle/tell her it was painful several times. The esthetician was also really hurried throughout the appointment. At the end of the appointment she said she would meet me outside of the room to share product recommendations, but she was nowhere to be found when I left the room. I didn't really mind, since I didn't want her product recommendations, but it was subpar service. The worst part of the experience was the extractions. I have open wounds all over my face from the (extremely painful) extractions, and one spot is still oozing blood an hour after the facial. I've had facials before, and understand extractions are painful/can leave marks, but this is unacceptable. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I wanted to save other people their money. Pro: the space was nice!

Not very good, bright lights during entire service, very chatty during spa service. The staff aside from my tech was very odd towards me. Went to use the restroom and they followed me running literally to the stall door like I was going to do something suspicious. Besides the girl who greets the staff looks at you strangely and in an unhappy manner. Typically I ever feel like this people are usually warm to me but this made me feel strange. And honestly the service was like fine. Low quality place in a high quality decorated room

I absolutely love how my balayage turned out! The color is perfectly blended and looks so natural and vibrant, just exactly what I was hoping for. My stylist Godoy was incredibly professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The salon itself has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely come back.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and styled by Rouse for the past three years, and every single visit has been an amazing experience. She has truly wonderful hands and a natural talent that makes every cut and style perfect. Rouse not only understands exactly what I want, but she also makes me feel comfortable and confident each time. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality make her stand out as an exceptional hairstylist. I always leave her chair looking and feeling my best. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding service and beautiful results!

I came in for a balayage, cut and blow dry with Godoy. He is an artist! I was incredibly happy with the results. My natural hair color is jet black and he changed up my whole look and vibe, which is exactly what I wanted. He’s amazing!

I came to Godoy with hair that felt heavy, dull, and lifeless. After just one appointment, my entire look changed — and I couldn’t be happier! Godoy didn’t just cut my hair — he truly understood what it needed. He added shape, movement, and softness while keeping the length I love. My hair feels lighter, healthier, and full of life. The layers frame my face beautifully, and the finish is so natural and polished. It’s rare to find a hairdresser who combines talent, technique, and intuition the way Godoy does. I walked in hoping for a refresh — I walked out feeling like the best version of myself. Can’t recommend him enough!

I had the most amazing experience at this salon! Wagner Gallo is a truly artist, he completely transformed my hair and gave me exactly what I was looking for, even better than I imagined. The color look flawless, my hair feels super healthy and shiny. The owner is also the sweetest, very attentive. They use top-quality products, which makes a huge difference.

I just had an incredible experience with Rouse, full highlights and haircut. She was extremely professional, gave me the best advice, and did it better than I expected. I'm quite hard to convince, but I couldn't be happier with the result. The best hair color in years. Recomendado al 100%. Gracias a Rouse.

I had the most amazing experience at Natura Spa, but what truly made it unforgettable was Jonth Castillo. From the moment I sat in his chair, I knew I was in the hands of a true artist. He completely transformed my hair—not only in color, but in health, shape, and style. Jonth took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, explained every step with care, and made me feel relaxed and confident throughout the entire process. The results speak for themselves—my hair went from dull and uneven to vibrant, dimensional, and full of life. I’ve never felt this good walking out of a salon! His professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail are unmatched. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows how to bring out the best in your hair, Jonth is the one. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had a wonderful experience at Haven. My massage therapist Heidi was excellent and provided a gentle, soothing and peaceful environment, highly recommend her services. I also had a great mani/pedi experience with June who was very kind and accommodating to my requests. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you!

Front staff were very nice! Check in process to check out process was easy peasy. I got a facial and it was so relaxing and I left GLOWING. Definitely have to return!

I got the European pedi done by Raquel. The water was hot (I recommend telling them to make it warm.) Both of my big toes hurt due to the cuticle cut she did. However, she scrubbed my feet extremely well.

Came for the first time and got European Pedicures from Maria and June. Both were thorough and lovely! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for a nice pedicure at a reasonable price point. Very clean salon as well. Looking forward to returning and possibly trying other services.

I have been going to Haven Spa since they opened in SoHo, as well as following them on every move and transformations, so, many, many years. The staff is top-notch, professional, extremely skilled and lovely. I highly recommend Haven and all their services. Grateful for this "haven" in heart of downtown Manhattan.

I got a massage for the first time at Haven. The room was clean. My masseuse did not use enough oil so there was too much chafing. Her nails were too long and therefore uncomfortable on my skin when she used deep pressure. I would not recommend. But particularly skilled in general but perfectly pleasant.

Love Haven so much! Lara is the best. Go and get the stillness massage, it’s unlike anything you’ll ever experience. Incredibly tranquil and a total reset of the body and mind.
Erica D — Google review
I had the most incredible spa day at Haven and wanted to give a special shoutout to the amazing team who took care of me! Eleonora gave me a beautiful, calming massage that helped me let go of every bit of tension I walked in with. Sophia was absolutely my favorite — she did my body treatment and facial, and I loved every minute of it. My skin is still glowing! She has such a gentle, skilled touch and made the whole experience feel luxurious and restorative. June wrapped up my day with an amazing pedicure and gel manicure. My hands and feet feel (and look!) brand new. Every service felt intentional, and I left feeling refreshed from head to toe. Thank you, Haven Spa — I’ll definitely be back!!

Best facial in the city! The massages are great too. Amy does an incredible job, my skin is glowing every time I leave. The spa is a little haven of peace and zen. Top notch customer service. Don’t think twice - book a facial or massage here!

Ohm spa is amazing! I searched all over the city for a long time for a massage therapist who could address my needs for deep tissue massage (I like very deep pressure), shiatsu, as well as recovery from neck tension after a car accident. Wasu and Tania are the most intuitive and talented massage therapists I have ever met, finding and working on all the spots in my back and neck that others massage therapists have not been able to get to. Their expert skills truly helped me to recover after my car accident last year. Cathy, who manages Ohm spa with her husband, is the warmest personality with her sincere interest and concern. I really feel cared for here! Been coming here for many years. Can’t say enough praise about Ohm spa! You will love your experience here!

Ohm spa is my fav spa in NYC. I have been visiting this spa for years and always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and invigorated. The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. The owners are always kind and friendly. I would highly recommend Miriam for a custom massage. She is amazing!

I’m in town for a weekend to relax in the city and decided to try out Ohm Spa after reading their positive reviews! I can now say the same as my experience was amazing. The staff was welcoming, the space was clean and tranquil. I booked a 60 minute massage and Miriam did an amazing job! I’ll definitely come back when I’m back in NYC.

Ohm spa was amazing! I got a facial with Lauren and a massage with Wasu. Lauren shared what she was doing throughout the facial and gave me a super relaxing massage, it didn’t feel like an hour the time flew by! I have a super tense jaw & she really focused on that during the facial massage which provided immense relief. I also appreciated that throughout the facial she was doing stuff so it felt like the full hour was utilized. She was very thorough w extractions as well and I loved chatting to her, she was great! Wasu was phenomenal! I have tense shoulders/ back and she released so much of my tension. She focused on pressure points and massages at the perfect tension level. It was a massage exactly the way I wanted it and I felt so amazing after. She is honestly gifted. I felt totally zen after and I will 100% be returning!

Amazing, beautiful, clean and friendly. I was soooo happy and relaxed being here at this spa. My masseuse was named Lisa and this was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and even gave me a Happy Birthday card with a refreshing drink after my massage. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I’m coming back again and bringing friends.

Great SPA and gym area, though it feels like you are in the middle of Japan village. They brought 200 years old wooden decorations to the treatment rooms. Simple, but still luxurious.

Hands down the best experience and massage of my life. Lisa is an absolute expert in her craft - I had a full body massage and she perfectly focussed on my tension areas across my back and shoulders. The setting of the room is beautiful, making you feel like you’re right in Japan. The spa and relaxation area is also stunning and the perfect setting for such a wonderful treatment. The best money ever spent. Again, huge thank you to Lisa - she is so talented.

Relaxing spa in the city with great amenities. There’s a steam shower in the locker’s room and lounge chairs in the pool area to relax in. Service was great and everything was very clean and organized.
Cheryl C — Google review
Mixed experience. My wife had a wonderful facial, but there were small things that could be improved. Beautiful and unique environment with wonderful and exceptionally professional staff. They were wonderful. She very much appreciated not being pushed to buy products toward them end of the facial with up selling, as most do toward the end of the treatment. However, the cleaning staff was so noisy and intrusive within the spa area that the experience was variable. Though simply doing their jobs, the environment was disrupted with the activity and could be timed more effectively for when patrons have left the room. Another improvement would be to allow husbands (me) to sit in the bar and order a drink to wait for my wife. “Bar is for hotel guests only, I’m sorry” was the greeting. So, I had to leave the space and sit in the lobby if I wanted to have a beverage. Granted, I’m being childish, but I went down the street for a nip instead. And, to be fair, I was wearing a baseball cap during United Nations week, so I may have been best suited to a bar than a lounge, but still, I had expected to have a relaxing time waiting for my wife but then had to move on to a location I was welcomed. Perhaps we’ll visit again, we are local, but perhaps we test a few more locations before we do so. Shibui is recommended, of course.

Spa Castle, located in College Point, Queens, is a renowned urban resort that offers a unique and diverse experience for its patrons. The facility features separate nude bathing and showering areas for men and women on the first floor, while the rest of the complex requires guests to wear special 'uniforms' as they explore the various amenities.
It was a great experience. I mainly went for the pools. I also got to go to visit the saunas. It’s like I had water massage therapy all day 😃. I think the price is well worth it as they do have a lot to offer for it as many outdoors and indoors pools and saunas open throughout the premises. If you want massages or other services they are available for another fee of course. You don’t have to bring anything besides your swing suit; they provide a robe towels, sleepers, shampoo, conditioner and soap. I went on a weekday and it was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit outside. It wasn’t crowded. The transition between the day and night was cool as you also get to experience the blue lightning colors of the pools at night and its steamy effects because of the cold air outside. All pools were warm and working with the weather outside. I just wish that they allow to swim a little since to swim it’s also therapeutic, but I get it, it’s a spa not a recreational pool. Since they are not saving any lives besides telling people to use the stairs to get into the pools instead of going around to prevent them from falling, the life guards should be cleaning more often the plastic cups and waste that disrespecting people leave sitting around the pools. Only a girl lifeguard was cleaning the cups and watching out, the other three guards were pointless to be honest. At night some couples were showing off more signs of affection than in the afternoon but it wasn’t too much I guess lol. Other than that it was a great experience. I will definitely come back since I love being in the pools.

My experience at Spa castle was amazing, massages facial everything was great. I have no complaints, they also have a variety of Saunas and I enjoyed the private suite hydrotherapy bath. I didn’t try any drinks or food. The renovations are beautiful. Nicely done spa castle. Will highly recommend
Robin Q — Google review
Great Experience, but Limited Pool Options Spa Castle was a really good and relaxing experience overall. The place is clean, peaceful, and a nice escape from the city rush. However, I gave it 4 stars because I felt there weren’t many pool options compared to what I expected. That said, the bar pool was definitely the highlight for me! It was fun, social, and super chill—made the visit totally worth it. If you’re looking for a place to unwind with some drinks in the water, this is the spot. Would I go back? Yes—for the vibe and bar pool, absolutely!
Katherine B — Google review
LOVED THE EXPERIENCE! I enjoyed my staying here, it was super satisfying and fun, they have a ton of rooms where they serve purpose and a pool with a lot of water pressure points. I would suggest to improve the menu a little bit and make it more enjoyable because I feel some of the food is too basic and sorta expensive. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the sunsets that you get to see are amazing. The pools inside the dressing rooms are my favorite. You have the freedom to roam with no clothes lol.
Heilys H — Google review
It’s a nice place to relax, especially the changes made to the facilities. I have been coming here for years. You would have thought the renovation would have fixed the whole place. The elevator takes a while to come to you. You have to be careful when you enter and exit the elevator due to unlevel floor. The reason for the three stars is because I had to make complaint about a recurrent issue about the safety of using the pool handrail to front desk. A few years ago, I cut my finger on the pool handrail. I didn’t notice the metal cap was sticking out when I grab the handrail. I made a complaint to the manager back then. The manager said he will get that resolve. It’s now 2025, and guess what, the handrail was never repaired. Hopefully, present day manager fixes this issue immediately. This should have been fixed a long time ago. Even though the paint job and the furnishings is up to date. This place isn’t ADA accessible, you will need someone to help you climb into the pools and other amenities. There are no ramps in the building, so you won’t be able to use all the saunas on the first floor. So please watch your step. (I also included the review I made to yelp about spa castle before renovation. I written over 8 years ago. Why isn’t the metal base from the pool fixed yet?!?!)
Damaris O — Google review
You pay $110 for the day to enjoy yourself which isn’t bad, only to get to the shower at 9:27 with a few minutes to spare and have them tell you the showers are closed. They close at 9:30. All I needed was a quick two minute rinse. I couldn’t even find the shower initially because the lights were turned off. The front desk guys say they usually give until 940/945 which I do recall from years ago but I guess tonight the locker room staff wanted to leave early ?? Unacceptable. I usually love this place and love to bring my family here but maybe I need to go back to SoJo Spa only, I don’t know. Very unhappy with Spa Castle staff at the moment.
Justin M — Google review
A positive change to the review (sorry about the last harsh one). Even if they did renovate and changed most of the place, it's still the same Spa Castle I knew back in 2016 when I first visited. Besides repairing the broken faucets and, the outdoor lighting at night has actually been enhanced and better than before (and can also be seen via street level). And the jets are much more powerful too. No problem with the food. Along with the 3 way balconies, the new penthouse view is very breathtaking with relaxing spa music playing and nice tasteful ceiling decoration. Staff are around mopping the floor and keeping the place tidy. I recommend going there during the evening at least before 1, 2, or 3 PM and staying until night for the best outdoor pools experience and to be able to order food since their last calls are at 7:45 PM, plus also weekdays when it's not so crowded. I hope this place can stay open for a super long time. The outdoor pools are very unique & seriously rock with this place; no other spa in New York has them. Saunas are still good. And I really love the different holiday decorations they put up each year. I don't care about the negative reviews, this is still the same Spa Castle I knew even with the new makeovers. And I will always return back on some occasions. I would never go to the beach ever again.

This spa was fantastic - with so much to do during a visit there. Plan to spend the day enjoying all ameneties. There are so many indoor pools, saunas, spaces to sit and relax, two restaurants, a smoothie bar and snack bar, meditation room, and outside the hydrotherapy pools are wonderful! There are many options available for spa treatments too - which we will have to go back for. We went to the Korean restaurant for lunch and our meals were delicious and plenty of food for the price. Staff at the Castle very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

If you're in search of a rejuvenating escape that feels like an urban oasis, look no further than QC NY Spa. Nestled on Governors Island, just a quick ferry ride from the hustle and bustle of Lower Manhattan, this spa offers a serene retreat with breathtaking views of the iconic Manhattan skyline.
I really enjoyed this experience, the coolest spa. Such a diverse number of saunas and baths that a whole day is not enough to go around them. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, they provide robes, a towel and slippers. Toilets, water and snacks are everywhere. For this price, this is a super experience. The pool with a view of Manhattan is a separate art form. The service is pleasant, attentive but unobtrusive. The only downside is the food - expensive and not very tasty, 2 sandwiches and 2 cocktails will cost $ 125 including tips, but the cocktails are excellent. In general, I recommend it to everyone, and we will definitely come back

We had a great time at QCNY Spa with friends. It felt like a mini vacation in the city! The entire space was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There were many different rooms and areas to relax in, each offering a unique atmosphere. From the saunas to the lounges, everything was top notch. It was the perfect way to unwind and spend the day together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape without leaving NY.

I got the birthday deal and I usually take the day off for it, was on a Wednesday not crowded. I think the reviews are pretty accurate. I loved the place and I understand is a spa and I give 5 stars to the spa, however the customer service was regular. But the food (buffet of cold food) no drinks included, was awful and super expensive I would recommend to have a good meal before going there, nothing more disappointing than bad food. I think they should improve that as there is no other choice. I would definitely come back for the spa services.
Andrea — Google review
This spa is a true urban oasis! My birthday visit was absolutely fantastic. The experience of relaxing in the outdoor pools with that stunning skyline view is something I'll never forget—it's worth the trip alone. I had read many reviews beforehand, so I went in with managed expectations. While most of the staff were fine, I have to agree with some other reviewers that the service could be more polished and tactful. A few interactions felt a bit rushed and impersonal, which is the only thing that kept the experience from being perfect. A huge plus for me was that I visited with a 50% birthday discount, which made the luxury feel much more accessible and was a wonderful treat. Despite the minor service hiccups, the amazing baths, saunas, and the overall relaxing atmosphere make QC NY a place I would highly recommend and definitely return to. If you can snag a deal, it's an incredible value

I was invited by a friend to enjoy this spa with a small group. Beautiful and creative spaces indoors and out, and really spacious too. The Ferry from Manhattan to Governor’s island was about 7 minutes, and it was worth it, the views of the skyline were spectacular. Very peaceful. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to recommend certain areas according to our interests!
Elizabeth O — Google review
I visited QC NY Spa on Governors Island with my wife earlier this month, and we honestly had a great time. I saw a lot of mixed reviews online beforehand, so I wasn’t sure what to expect — but we were pleasantly surprised. The setting is incredible. You’re just a short ferry ride from Manhattan, and suddenly you’re in this peaceful oasis with amazing skyline views. It’s a very unique experience. The outdoor pools were definitely a highlight for us — especially with the weather being just right. Floating in the warm water while looking at downtown Manhattan felt surreal. Inside, there were plenty of different saunas and relaxation rooms to explore, and the overall vibe was calm and well-organized. We had an all-day pass, but in reality, 3 to 4 hours was the perfect amount of time for us. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We didn’t book any massages or treatments, so I can’t speak to that, but just using the included facilities was more than enough to feel relaxed and reset. One small suggestion: it did get a bit busy later in the afternoon, so if you’re looking for a more quiet experience, I’d recommend arriving early in the day. Overall, we had a really enjoyable and refreshing visit. It’s not a cheap experience, but for a special occasion or self-care day, it’s definitely worth it. We’ll absolutely be back.
Joy E — Google review
came on my bday month so it was $169 for 2 ppl! check in: easy peasy, a staff member yariana (i couldn’t really see her name tag, it was SO SMALL) was such a blessing helping my bf get his scooter in and keeping it safe lockers: the locker room area can be a BIT confusing, think of it like a hotel and use the signs to help you out. hair dryers, shampoo/conditioner, micellar water and different moisturizers and lotions! my tip: bring your phone, robe, ONE towel & the bag they provide. i forgot to bring the bag with me so i was stuck holding my phone a lot. also, the shoes absolutely suck and i have a blister in between my toes now. the spa itself: 8/10, it was so much fun reading the instructions and getting into the immersive experience. it’s really a full body ‘cleanse’ trying out all the different rooms and floors. some rooms are better than others, find what you enjoy. i’m addicted to the apple cider they served in the music room. i thoroughly enjoyed the little scrubs and moisturizers they provide in certain rooms. also pls. sell aria montebianco, i want to live in that scent. 1 point off bc… it’s a maze. there’s no specific way to start or finish. another point off bc i got a HUGE splinter in a sauna and my boyfriend and i had to tear up my foot to get the wood out.
Von C — Google review
I’ll start with the positives: the staff here are very friendly and attentive, and the spa zone itself is spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a great variety of saunas to enjoy. The territory feels well cared for, which makes a good first impression. However, there are a few areas that could be improved, especially for the summer season. The biggest issue is the extremely limited number of sun beds—only about 20 in total. Since they work on a first-come, first-served basis, you basically have to book your visit right at opening to have a chance to get one. Otherwise, you’re left with low sun chairs that aren’t comfortable for long stays, and most of them are placed in full sun without umbrellas. This makes relaxing outdoors extremely uncomfortable. Another concern is the pool temperatures. While heating all the pools makes perfect sense in winter, in summer it’s the opposite—you end up stepping into water that feels like a hot bath. When it’s sunny and extremely hot outside, it would be wonderful to have at least one unheated pool to cool off in. The buffet was also disappointing. Except for the soup, all other food was fridge cold—not just cooled down, but clearly served straight from the refrigerator. That meant broccoli, carrots, green beans and even salmon, eggs, rice, chicken were very cold and tasteless.

Mermaid Spa is a hidden gem located near the entrance of Sea Gate, Brooklyn, offering an authentic experience reminiscent of traditional Russian banyas. This newly-renovated spa features a delightful mix of old and new elements, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. For just $40, guests can enjoy access to three steam rooms, an ice sauna, and even a Turkish bath—all perfect for detoxing in style.
I went here in December on a Tuesday weekday and had a great time. The sauna and steam rooms were hotter than anything I have experienced, and once I was brave enough to do the cold plunge I loved it. The meal was delicious, especially with icy cold beers in a glass after going in the sauna. Highly recommend! Don’t forget to bring flip-flops so you don’t have to buy them.

Surprised by this "Banya" just a sauna! Only 4 hours are given for one payment, and I have to constantly monitor the time, small uncomfortable room to change clothes, everything is kind of old, ugly showers, there are buckets for brewing brooms but at the entrance to the sauna room it is written: WARNING NO BUCKETS OF WATER ALLOWED IN THIS BANYA.... this is idiocy, I asked the staff and they are also surprised by this, but they are just staff, they do not care, I asked at the reception if you are inside the bath (room) can you pour water on your head, and at the same time be right above the drain? the reception says I don't know, but I think it's possible... terrible 3 shower rooms between 2 saunas... ordered crackers but they were in oil, soft, ordered tea, cheap tea, tasteless and gave paper cups, at first I ordered just tea but they brought me jam and honey and sliced lemon, well, in many bathhouses they bring tea with something like jam, honey, crackers, etc. but it's included in the price, and here they give me a receipt and there it says separately $ 3 for these sweets, I asked why do I have to pay extra? I was told it's not included in the price of the tea... well, it's not about these couple of bucks but about the fact that they simply imposed it on me and at the same time did not ask me! people work here who are in no way connected with the provision of services! I will never come here again! terrible place! I do not recommend it to anyone!!!
Tigran B — Google review
Good for one-time visit, classic banya vibe I went to Mermaid Spa once and overall, it was a decent experience. The place has a traditional Russian bathhouse feel — hot steam rooms, cold plunge, and a cafeteria-style area with simple food like borscht and bread. It was clean, though a bit crowded. If you’re curious about banya culture, it’s worth trying at least once.

Mermaid Spa is truly a hidden gem and one of the best spots in the city to unwind and recharge. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a peaceful and rejuvenating environment that feels worlds away from the stress of daily life. The entire facility is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. What makes Mermaid Spa stand out is the variety and quality of its saunas and steam rooms. Each one offers a different experience, from traditional dry heat to aromatic steam, and even the cold plunge pools are incredibly refreshing after a good sweat. You can really feel the health benefits after just one visit—your skin feels cleaner, your muscles looser, and your mind clearer. The staff is also courteous and helpful, making sure everything runs smoothly. I especially appreciated how clean everything was, including the locker rooms and lounge areas. There’s also a restaurant on site that serves surprisingly good food, making it easy to spend several hours here without needing to leave. Whether you’re going solo for some peace and quiet or spending time with friends or family, Mermaid Spa is a perfect escape. I always leave feeling completely refreshed and look forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!

My favorite banya in nyc/nj. Super hot saunas and steam room. Cold plunge is great. Place is clean. 4 hr time limit, which isn't bad, I don't purchase any food and strictly go to use the saunas and cold plunge. The 450 for 10 sessions is a great deal which puts the admission at 45 a session which is great. Regular admission is 55 which isn't bad. Not for the faint hearted if your not used to Russian style banyas this is not for you. I have been going for over 10 years and always appreciate the consistency and quality amenities

No doubt the best Russian sauna in Brooklyn and probably in the whole NYC. Clean, neat, relaxing. Getting pretty busy on weekends during the cold season, so my suggestion is that if possible, go there any week day. It's not cheap food, but it's worth very penny. Highly recommended. Be aware that you will have only 6 towels per visit. Any additional towel will cost you $1.

Awesome spot to hang out with friends. The saunas, jacuzzi, igloos & pools. With authentic Russian food, you can relax here all day! I highly recommend going in the winter time. The only con is it’s a trek to get here, all the way out in Seagate.

Start your entry from across the street, the architecture is admirable. The polite doorman opens the door to a grand staircase, go to the 21st floor where you are welcomed by a knowledgeable and friendly team. I was scheduled for a facial & foot reflexology combo, and a 90 minute massage. 1. The combo was bliss, Janine was professional, asked questions for safety/comfort and gave great tips for after. I loved the “vacuum” part. David is a veteran massage therapist and very aware and respectful of pressure request. He did the reflexology and also the 90 min massage. I encourage asking for him, he is very professional. 2. The space is calm, quiet, peacefully dark and dim which felt very relaxing. They have nice showers, a steam & dry sauna w/ ice chips if you so desire to cool you off. A vanity room with any toiletry you might need. If you have time, go to the 22nd floor and enjoy the pool and the view! I will be back for certain!

The Peninsula Spa, resting atop The Peninsula Hotel in midtown Manhattan, is the one not to be missed. From the very moment I stepped into its Zen-infused lobby, I felt pampered in the way only a five-star facility can deliver. After checking-in with the warm and friendly staff, I was given a quick tour of the facilities, and escorted to the peaceful tea lounge, while I was served a relaxing cup of hot tea, and my choice of snacks. A few minutes before my start time, I was greeted by my massage therapist, the attentive and welcoming William. After escorting me to my treatment room, we had a quick, pleasant discussion about what I liked in my massage, and what my problem areas were. He asked about temperature of the room, the massage table, the music, everything… including a broad selection of oils I was able to sample and select from. William, who has worked there for nearly 30 years, then proceeded to give me the most incredible, note-perfect, healing massage I have ever experienced. I felt truly cared for, like he was truly listening to my body. When the massage was done, I didn’t want to get off the table, and I even told him so, which gave us both a good laugh. After the massage, William walked me to a superbly low lit, nap room where I completely zonked out! Once I came to, I proceeded to the steam and sauna, then showered and booked my next visit with William.

I get the best massages with Antonia and have exclusively been going to her since I met her. She is so professional and has extra sports therapy & ergonomics knowledge that has helped me with my muscle concerns. She goes deep into my tissues and has really helped with my body soreness and pain. I recommended her to my sister, friends, and coworkers!!

If you want to experience luxury, this is where you need to be! I had a Sleep Support Therapy service with Jody and it was the best spa service I have ever experienced. Jody was calm and welcoming and his technique was unmatchable. By the end of my service, I was certain I could not reach that level of relaxation without returning for another service. The Shirodhara was a beautifully unique experience that was life changing for me, something I'll have to book again in the future! The facilities are also beautiful. The fitness center, pool, relaxation rooms, the tea room, the steam room and sauna, and the locker rooms are all stunning and very well-kept. My only negative experience was with one of the front desk staff who checked me in the morning of my service. I had come down from the fitness center to check in for my 9:15am service after initially arriving around 7am. I arrived early to have ample time before my service to squeeze a workout in, rinse off, and enjoy the steam room before my service. I had even confirmed at time of booking that I was able to come at around 7am despite the spa not yet being open, and was specifically told there would be no problems with that. The woman who later checked me in told me that in the future I cannot arrive before 8am since that is when the spa opens. I clarified that I had been told at time of booking that I was welcome to come earlier than 8am to enjoy the fitness center. I further clarified that at 7am when I arrived to use a locker I was assisted by staff and the manager with no issues. She continued to tell me that in the future, arriving before 8am is not allowed. The way she handled it was very unprofessional. If you want your clients to not arrive early, make sure that message is clearly delivered by everyone who works at the facility. I would have booked a service later in the day or later on another day if that was the rule. All in all, minus the front desk experience that put a small dent in the day, it was a glorious and relaxing experience. One that I certainly look forward to re-booking!

Nestled just across the Hudson River in Edgewater, New Jersey, SoJo Spa Club is a modern oasis that redefines relaxation. Opened in 2017, this expansive 250,000-square-foot facility spans eight floors and offers an impressive array of amenities designed to rejuvenate your body and mind. From its stunning rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking views of Manhattan to unique experiences like Korean body scrubs and volcanic sand baths, every corner of SoJo Spa Club invites you to unwind.
This is my 3rd trip to SoJo Spa and as expected it's still amazing! There are plenty of relaxing options, along with great dining choices. The staff was kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The locker rooms are impressive, but I do wish there were more locker seating and privacy, though—it felt a little awkward getting dressed and undressed in the open, especially during arrival and departure. The separate women and men bathhouse attached to the locker rooms offer amenities such as a cold plunge, wet and dry saunas, and more. The spa provides complimentary robes and towels, and you can purchase self-care products. One thing to note: spa flip-flops aren’t complimentary, but they’re available for purchase at a small fee. The only downside was the longer-than-expected wait line to get in, and the ongoing construction across the street, which slightly took away from the atmosphere. That said, it was an amazing spa day overall, and I’ll definitely be returning—especially once the construction is complete. Side note: Park in the free lot slightly past the spa. It's easier to get in and out then the valet option.

I had a really nice experience at SoJo Spa Club in New Jersey. The entire place was exceptionally clean, well organized, and relaxing, and the staff were professional and attentive. I booked the body scrub and salt stone massage, and both services were very good. If I could change one thing, it would be the shoe policy. Upon entering, they ask you to remove your shoes downstairs, but they don’t provide any alternative footwear. For a spa of this level and price point, I would gladly pay a few extra dollars to have disposable slippers available for guests. Walking around barefoot just didn’t feel right for me. Other than that, I really enjoyed my visit. Everything felt peaceful and high end. I would definitely come back and recommend it, especially for anyone looking for a clean, rejuvenating spa experience in the area.

Went for a Spa Day with my significant other. Just an amazing experience with excellent food. We had the tuna poke bowl and vegetable ramen soup. Very flavorful on both ends and the prices were reasonable. It was nice to be able to spend the whole day enjoying the spa and eating dinner with the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. Would definitely recommend if you want to enjoy a relaxing day stress free! 👍👍👍👍👍

Everyone was professional. I added a Korean Body Scrub as a service and Diane went to work. She was very thorough. My reservation was at 10am and it appeared to get very busy after 2. All the amenities were spot on and my lunch (Ginger Chicken) was great. I had an amazing 80 degree October day! I Will return!

World Spa, located in Brooklyn, NY, is a 50,000-square-foot wellness oasis that offers a variety of treatments inspired by cultures from around the world. The spa features three floors with authentic banyas, Finnish saunas, Turkish and Moroccan hammams, Himalayan salt therapy rooms, Japanese onsens, infrared rooms and more. Visitors can enjoy upscale and clean facilities with friendly staff creating a welcoming atmosphere.
I highly recommend getting a day pass. It was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The variety of saunas and rooms were amazing, each offering something unique and relaxing. I treated myself to a facial, and it was exactly what I needed so soothing and restorative. My favorite part, hands down, was relaxing by the pool and soaking in the hot tub. There were also guided sauna experiences happening throughout the day, which added to the overall vibe. It’s such a peaceful, well-designed space, and perfect for a solo reset or a chill day with friends.

I completely enjoyed this establishment, because it was based on self love moments and total relaxation. I booked a day pass and stayed in their restaurant and the vibe was amazing and relaxing, the pools were clean and the baths were warm or hot tubs. They also have coke plunges and a lot of different Saunas and all of them with the description on the side, so you know what you getting into. Definitely worth it and going back for a massage.

I had a fantastic experience at World Spa today - easily one of the most enjoyable and relaxing days of my life! I’ve been wanting to treat myself to a spa day for a while and was debating between a few other spas, but ultimately ended up here and cannot be happier with my choice. Immediately upon entering you are met with a calming atmosphere that makes you feel like you are anywhere but NYC. Check in was smooth - just be sure to bring your ID and the card you used to book. Then, you will receive a wristband that lets you in, opens your locker, and allows you to order food at the restaurant. I changed and explored for a bit before heading down to the treatment room for my massage - it was helpful that they had wall clocks all over the place to check in on the time. The massage by Dara or Dana (sorry, I forget) was incredible and I felt extremely comfortable with her! After my massage I wandered around the rooms, enjoying the relaxation that came from alternating between the warm and cold rooms/pools. I was worried I might feel insecure around everyone in my bathing suit, but I truly felt so comfortable around all of the other guests and staff. You also get a comfy robe in your locker to use if you want to cover up a bit more. Lunch was incredible - the poke bowl and virgin mojito were on point and the service was SO kind at the restaurant. I also enjoyed the different sauna ceremonies and the complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom showers to round out my trip and clean the massage oil off. Overall this place is an incredible establishment - it was clean, safe, and most of all relaxing!!! I went alone and left feeling rejuvenated. I went on a Wednesday morning/afternoon so I did not feel like it was too crowded at all. I was able to enjoy some rooms on my own, but even when others joined they were mostly quiet and respectful of the peaceful environment!

I went here for my birthday June 17th with my mom and cousin. We had a blast!!! Since we went during the week (Tuesday) it wasn't overly crowded. It's super clean everyone were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 7 hours yes you heard right. We did a day pass so we had access to pretty much everything. but the VIP area which is on the three floor. If you want a massage, and food you'll have to pay extra for that. My favorite areas of the spa were the steam room, and the pools! I encourage everyone to go! I most definitely going to here again!

New York Spa & Sauna is a traditional Korean day spa located in Murray Hills, just a 15-minute walk from Flushing in Queens. The spa has separate bathing areas for men and women where the dress code strictly requires being completely nude. Guests can enjoy amenities such as hot tubs, steam rooms, dry saunas, and cleansing showers.
Honestly, this was a very chill experience. I don’t really go to spas, but I would go here again. Keep in mind this is not really upscale kind of spa. This is more of a local chill spa but I think for $40 it was worth it. I will give an early warning cause I also recommended this to someone else and they were shocked when they went in the locker rooms lmfao everyone is butt naked and the pool and Jacuzzi are also in the locker rooms. And yes they are also butt naked in there too. You also don’t wear any footwear but the floors are super heated and you also get this uniform that you have to wear which is just a shirt and some shorts. On the second floor are tge sauna and you get four different types. I recommend mineral and salt one. You also get an ice room. There’s also a food court there with decent Korean food however, I recommend you eat at the Korean barbecue that’s literally attached to the spa. Like when you enter, there’s a glass door that separates the Korean barbecue place to the lobby. And it’s like $20 for lunch special. I recommend you eat there first and then relax in the spa for another plus right next to the spa is a karaoke place. So if you and like four friends wanna do an all day thing I recommend going here. What I did was eat Korean barbecue, then went straight to the spa and right after I went to the karaoke place. There is also free parking.

I like this spa. It’s close to my job and the perfect place to spend time after a long week. I love the hot rooms in the shared area and the silence all around; you can just put on a mask and read your book in the reclining chairs area. The food is good. The women’s area is cute. I don't like the pools. Maybe they need to upgrade them, but the steaming and dry saunas are cool. I tried the body scrub and the massage, the ladies working there are talented. I would come again, especially during cold winter days.

My friend treated me to a spa day , I'm use to more of an upscale feel like Sojo !! But this was in flushing and more for the community , I will say i had a decent relaxing time , the staff was very polite and I enjoyed the food. The amenities were good & clean for the price of entry , the only thing I didn't like were the kids running around and up in the saunas , I didn't feel 100% comfortable. I say give them a try
XONDATRACK — Google review
My husband and I had a peaceful and enjoyable visit. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and we appreciated the quiet summer afternoon. However, I was very uncomfortable when a woman entered the sauna wearing soaked undergarments and socks. While I understand some guests may feel shy about being nude, proper Korean sauna etiquette is essential to maintaining a clean and respectful space for everyone. Wearing wet clothing in the sauna not only feels unhygienic but also makes it uncomfortable for other guests who are following the rules. I brought up my concern to the front desk before leaving. I hope the spa will take steps to enforce proper dress code more clearly—whether through signage, reminders, or staff presence—so that all guests can enjoy the space respectfully.
Nobi Y — Google review
It was somewhat nice place except the smell of chemicals in the hot spring bath (never had gone into the lukewarm bath). Dry sauna on the second floor ticks a box like ordinary sauna in Seoul.

A Korean style spa situated in a heart of Flashing/Murray Hill. A free parking lot. An entrance fee of $35 per person was promising. a very soft cotton uniform was provided. All facilities well maintained and clean. On a lower level we found a few very small pools with hot, very hot and room temperature water. Body scrubbing and massage is available here. Showers are handheld and standing were available too. A food court surprised. All dishes were overpriced, however a seaweed soup and a cup of white rice was complementary. Mackerel fish dish was so greasy and had a strong fishy smelly that was very unappealing. A fresh carrot juice was okay and worth its price. All plumbing in saunas was outside of walls that had leaks. All floors in saunas had simply a material cover on a floor. Outside paths floors was very hot for barefoot feet. A lot of TV screens were broadcasting news that you would escape when at rest. If you decide to go to a low key sauna place with a very dry air, a hot floor , you are welcome here.
Luba K — Google review
Price - 3 star for the price ( $35) no complaints. Provided towels and pink clothes for women/ blue for men. Cleanness - 4 stars . They have 4 dry sauna rooms quite small. Mixed 5,6 people. One ice room ( cool enough but not icy ❄️) . Foods- 1 star.. the worst Korean food I ever have eaten in. I haven’t try there body scrub yet . I will try and update the reviews for scrub. I’m big fan of Korea spa 🤡

Body by Brooklyn is a luxurious spa that offers treatments such as massages, baths, and saunas. The spa has a wide selection of soaks and steam rooms that can be enjoyed separately or together. The massage therapists here work miracles on overworked muscles, breaking up knots that have been around for years due to the stress of the Trump administration. Top off your treatment with a steam in one of their thermal hot tubs or power showers.
I booked a solo spa day with aromatherapy massage. My therapist Nadine was awesome. I left there feeling relaxed like a load was lifted from my shoulders. The food was delicious. I had garlic rings and crab rangoon. For drinks, I had mango sunrise, it was everything. This location is cozy and everyone is interacted with was awesome. I will be back soon to do the deep tissue massage my therapist recommended.

I loved this place! It was my first time visiting a spa and they made the experience very comfortable and pleasant! The dry lounge was a delight to hang out in after my massage. My partner and I booked the same massage type, but had different experiences based on our body’s needs which was nice because the therapists clearly treat everyone as an individual case vs. all the same. My therapist was Julie, and she was such a calming presence and gave me an amazing massage. I highly recommend this place. It was very clean!

I visited Body by Brooklyn on my birthday last Thursday, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, my visit was anything but that. After receiving a facial and a massage, I noticed numerous mosquito bites on my body. Instead of addressing the issue, the staff attempted to explain it away by suggesting I was having an allergic reaction to the treatments—which is completely false, as I have no known allergies and have never experienced anything like this before. To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns, the manager promised to call me back but never did. I also never received any follow-up email or acknowledgment of the issue. This level of customer service is unacceptable. At 57 years old, I’ve been to many spas, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I do not recommend this establishment and would caution others to think twice before booking. ⸻

I was extremely disappointed - the spa had so many gnats flying around, the towels and robes were hard to the touch on our skin. They smelled not of fabric softener and the food was not tasty at all. The hostess mucked all of our names up without trying and messed up two food orders and then blamed the host who took our initial order over the phone. Once it was verified she asked us what she should do rather than get the orders correct. There could have been a fish allergy and she was unaffected. The windows were we sat were filthy and needed to be washed. I lost my appetite. This place is over priced and not what it appears to be. The front door looked like the entrance to an AA meeting room. The place was clearly dated. I am so upset that i spent my money here. The best part of my day at this spa was the young lady who performed my massage - Sha was extra kind, soft with her words and great with her massage. I could not in good faith recommend this place. Sorry!

Intimate , cozy and beautiful place, peaceful and relaxing. Great distribution of sauna’s, jacuzzi and dinning areas. I love the whole room design and music selection. This was my first time but I definitely want to revisit and try the massages. Was invited to joined my friend 50th birthday celebration. Upon arrival our host Nakia greeted us with robes and bath towels, she then escorted us to our designated area where we was greeted with champagne and gifts, she was awesome and knowledgeable, she definitely made sure we had a blast, and kept us on schedule. Lunch was amazing, my favorite was the fried dumplings! I definitely enjoyed the drinks. Shout out to the bartender!!! Overall I will tell you I felt so amazing after the spa treatments! I There is no comparison after my mud bath (my esthetician was Ashanti )I recommend her to everyone. The reason for the 4 star was the bathroom I choose to rinse off was broken. Not sure if maintenance was aware! All in all a wonderful experience!

If you're looking for a sprawling, multi-floor Korean day spa experience with a lot of different things to explore like Sojo or King Spa, this is NOT that. This place is very small: there are two hot dry saunas, one hot steam sauna, one jacuzzi, and one cold plunge pool (this was out of order when I went)...and that's it! Their lounge area is part dining hall, part dimly lit lounge seating with a few oversized sofa chairs. All that said, if you just want a nice half day to relax, this is a great option! Their summer deal: 1 Daily Pass and get 1 for only 50% Off makes it well worth it. My partner and I came here for only ~$85 for both of us on a Thursday when the place was virtually empty for much of the day. The Thai food is excellent and the portions are generous. The coffee is abysmal. The wifi is pretty consistent but slow. Overall, the place is very clean and chill. The staff are not super uptight about rules rules rules, which is a nice change from some of the Korean places.

I was here for the first time and was very surprised that in New York there is a traditional Korean spa. They have quite a large selection of services. I really liked that they have a scrub and massage in separate rooms your massage will be on another floor. A very quiet and secluded place they are also open 24/7 which is very pleasing since I work late and most spas are closed. I really liked it here recommend it

Wonderful scrub but was disappointed the steam room wasn’t working and I got cold a few times during scrub. I also didn’t like there were other guests talking loudly in communal spa area. Other than that still a great value and service.

I had a wonderful experience at Juvenex. Undoubtedly, their signature body scrub is the go-to service. My technician, Kimmie, was amazing. So kind, personable, and skilled beyond measure! The front desk/concierge services from Melinda is also worth mentioning. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I will definitely patron again and recommend others as well! It was so relaxing and worth every penny! Extremely easy to get to from Penn Station.

My daughter and I were here a few years ago when she was 16. It was her first spa experience and she did not want to be massaged, so opted for a facial. The woman forced her to get out of her wet bathing suit and robe and put on a small towel even though she said she didn’t want to, all while the woman stood there. She then proceeded to massage other parts of her body, even though she just wanted a facial! I was getting a treatment in another room so I had no idea this was going on. She was deeply shaken, and I am still furious thinking about it!

Very good experience. A spa in Manhattan, right by broadway. We took the general admission, it was nice. Bath with hot water and lemons, salt steamed rooms and so many more. You're given tea and pineapple. They bring you cold water in the sauna too. Very good service. You're pampered like a baby.

I’ve been coming here for two years and it is such a safe haven for me. Yes, I agree that it is a bit small, but it’s very intimate, never feels overcrowded, and the staff is really wonderful. I typically come here for facials and the body scrub. Today June did my body scrub, and I felt like a brand new person when I was done with the session. She was absolutely wonderful. After my session I was served tea and pineapple. I was able to stay for a while to continue relaxing in the hot tub and took a dip in the cold pool before heading out. For the price, you really can’t beat it! I can’t recommend enough! Oh- if it’s your first time, pay with cash if you can. If you pay with a card there is a 4% cc fee. No biggie? Just a heads up. Can’t wait to visit again!

I visited this spa about two weeks ago with a friend. Since they are open 24 hours, we went late at night. During my massage, I fell asleep, and when I left, I realized my bracelets were missing — a Van Cleef, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton. I called twice to ask if they could look for them, but both times the staff was rude and dismissive. Extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place and I definitely won’t be returning.

My esthetician was Anya and she was so knowledgeable and helpful for the steps I need to take to have my skin glowing for wedding day. The triple crown is a combination of a microdermabrasion facial as well as an Oxygen facial we also added on extractions to clear up my pores. My skin looks like glass and I can’t wait to go back in a month!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new facial spot!

I’ve seen Mani at Joanna Vargas three times now—two Oxygen Purifying Facials and one Supernova Facial—and he’s fantastic. He listens, explains what he’s doing, and keeps the treatments targeted without any fluff. I always leave with calmer, cleaner, glowing skin. If you’re in NYC and considering an Oxygen Facial, book with Mani. Highly recommend.

I have had a wonderful experience at Joanna Vargas spa. All of the sales associates are knowledgeable and so patient with my questions! My esthetician Anya is amazing and so lovely to work with. She took me through all of the steps of the treatment and explained everything. She is gentle and provides great advice for after care!

I just had a triple crown facial at the New York City location. Part of the service is a microdermabrasion facial. It was fabulous. I am looking forward to my next one. The staff is knowledgeable and so delightful. The salon experience is very relaxing. I purchased the Eden Rejuvenating Pro Serum that was used during my treatment. I can’t wait to start using it. Joanna Vargas Salon is an experience that shouldn’t be missed!

I had a great experience at Joanna Vargas NYC spa. Their Oxygen Facial with Microdermabrasion was amazing. The treatment was relaxing, and the results were instant. My skin looked bright and smooth right after. Highly recommend.

I recently had an Oxygen Facial, and it was amazing! My skin felt instantly hydrated, smooth, and glowing. The treatment was gentle and refreshing — no redness or irritation, just a healthy, radiant look that lasted for days. I left feeling rejuvenated and would definitely do it again.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. This place was recommended to me because I was having some acne issues and my remedies weren’t working. I showed up not even really knowing what I needed. Essence Taylor was my esthetician and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She educated me on what I was doing wrong, gave me recommendations for what to do right and left me glowing like a Christmas candle. I literally can’t stop staring at my skin. I’ll be back. She’s going to get all my lil money and I’m okay with it 😂

I’ve been coming to Joanna Vargas for about 2 years, sometimes receiving the oxygen facial and sometimes also getting a microdermabrasion facial. All my aestheticians have been knowledgeable and worked with me - there is great consistency across the business. I’ve also tried the LED Light Facial and Emsculpt, and i love every service they have to offer

Rego Beauty Spa is a popular spot known for its variety of massages, such as hot-stone, shiatsu, Swedish, and Ayurvedic options for individuals and couples. The spa is praised for being affordable, clean, and cozy with a welcoming staff. It's recommended to schedule appointments in advance due to high demand. Visitors have enjoyed the warm reception and professional service from therapists like Eva and Lisa.
After a stressful day at work, I decided to treat myself to a massage. A friend mentioned Rego Beauty Spa, and I decided to give it a Try. I was amazed at how reasonable the prices were. Anne was assigned as my therapist for the day. I have had some good massages, but Anne was terrific, she puts so much energy into her work!! I can honestly say it was the best massage I ever received. I will be back!! I highly recommend Anne!

My wife and I have been going to Rego Beauty Spa for over 5 years now. The quality we get for the price is unbelievable. I spend many hours on the computer and the deep tissue massage is precisely what I need —targeted and firm enough to relieve my muscle tension without compromising comfort. Coupled with their full body massage and hot stones, the experience left me feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. They also do couples massage, so you can experience it with your significant other. They play great relaxing music, creating a calming environment that is both inviting and restorative. The customer service is exemplary; the staff are not only skilled in their craft but also genuinely caring. Over the years we had massages with many of the staff and they are all very skilled but for deep tissue massages, Angela is the best in my opinion. You won’t be disappointed!

Was able to get a last minute 90 min massage this evening. When i arrived, i was promptly shown to my room by Eva. Eva was great! She asked what pressure I preferred for my massage and checked in periodically to make sure I was okay with it throughout my massage. She was very nice, friendly and helpful :) she even helped me put on my necklace! I will for sure be returning and ask for Eva. If you like hard pressure, then she's your gal!

I was really looking forward to a relaxing and rejuvenating massage, but unfortunately, this session fell far short of expectations. From the moment I walked in, the experience felt rushed and disorganized. The therapist seemed inexperienced—not necessarily unkind, but definitely not confident or skilled in their technique. The pressure was inconsistent, and they kept adjusting without checking in with me. There was very little attention to problem areas, and instead of a fluid, thoughtful session, it felt more like someone going through a routine they barely knew. At times, the movements were choppy and disconnected, which made it hard to relax. What was most frustrating, though, was how rushed everything felt. The hour session barely lasted 60 minutes, and even during that time, it was clear they were watching the clock. There was minimal communication, and the overall atmosphere didn’t promote any sense of calm or professionalism. For the price, I expected much more in terms of skill and care. Sadly, this felt like a box being checked rather than a service being thoughtfully delivered. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a genuine therapeutic experience. Just to clarify, it was a couple massage, and my partner experienced the same issue. Out of respect, we still left a $40 tip for both of us. We brought the matter to the manager's attention and hope they take appropriate action so future customers won’t have the same experience.
Gino G — Google review
This place is unprofessional and disrespectful. 1.) We got there before our appointment time yet had to wait. We didn’t complain. We had a couples massage yet they took us one at a time into the room and started the massage at different times. 2.) The masseuse never used her fingers only her elbow and forearm, I was in alot of pain for days and couldn’t even lean backwards onto a chair. 3.) During the massage the masseuse pushed the massage table up and down while I was on it. Extremely unprofessional. 4.) As soon as the massage was over I was in pain and needed to sit/lean against the edge of the massage table for support. I was trying to put on my pants when another worker came into the room and started changing the table sheets. Then she turned the light on and kept opening the door hurrying me while I was trying to get dressed, exposing my pantsless self to anyone walking by. I have never experienced such horrible service at any other massage spa before. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful. The only reason we went there was because our usual spa Sunflower on metropolitan permanently closed which is unfortunate because they were way more professional than these people. They need to schedule their appointments with better time space between appointments and take customer training courses. If people don’t hold them accountable they will keep treating people disrespectfully.
Anonymous R — Google review
The place might seem clean but it is not. Make sure your towels are actually clean and not being reused with multiple clients, the same goes for the sheets that go on your naked body. The language barrier can be a challenge at times especially when your body has many injures. Some masseuses are better than others. Some of them treat everyone the same. I just wished our bodies are met with more respect.
Laila B — Google review
Gave so many chances to this place. So so unprofessional. I booked an appointment earlier today and 30 mins before im scheduled for a foot massage, I get a call from spa that the person I booked is actually already booked for another massage for someone else. I asked for Cece and she's booked as well. I canceled altogether as I have had bad experiences with all the other masseuse. On another incident another masseuse named Angela fell asleep several times on me during a body massage even when I confronted her during the massage and asked if she's sleepy. I called to complain next day and the front desk admitted the masseuse took allergy medication and was drowsy and mind you they have the nerve to increase their prices and downgrade their service. Another incident, I was put in a couples room separated by a curtain and a man was being massaged my multiple women and a lot of laughing and giggling. Extremely suspicious, loud, disruptive and altogether unenjoyable experience. And to add on the person had a FOUL body odor. Horrible! I've been a regular customer and the service has downgraded drastically over the past year and they expect tips on top of that. I'm so so upset.

Best Spa in Murray Hill Queens is a top-notch spa that offers an incredible experience from the moment you walk in. The friendly and professional staff create a welcoming atmosphere, and their expertise in aromatherapy stands out as one of the main highlights. The spa has received praise for its excellent COVID-19 protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests. Visitors have enjoyed various treatments such as massages, facials, and high-frequency abdominal massages, all leaving them feeling rejuvenated and glowing.
The place was quiet and cozy, and she was really skilled, it totally helped me relax. My skin looks so much better now, and it even lifted my mood. I’ll definitely come back next time!

I had a wonderful experience at Best Spa. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment I walked in. The environment was clean, quiet, and very relaxing — perfect for unwinding. My massage therapist had amazing technique; they were attentive and really knew how to work out the tension. I left feeling completely refreshed and at ease. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care and a peaceful atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to this spa regularly and have always appreciated the quality of the massages here. However, today’s experience was deeply frustrating and disappointing. I had made a reservation in advance, confirmed the time, and adjusted my schedule to be here on time. But when I arrived, I was told that the person I had booked with was currently working and would only be available three hours later. Seriously? What was the point of making a reservation if it isn’t honored? I wasn’t even offered a proper apology. I had no choice but to leave and go home—it felt like such a waste of time. To make matters worse, the person who took my call didn’t seem to understand English properly, which led to a clear miscommunication. If you’re going to have someone handle bookings, please make sure they can communicate effectively. This kind of careless scheduling and lack of responsibility really ruins the experience. I really wanted to give five stars, because the massage service itself is great—but I can only give three, because this kind of booking mismanagement and total lack of customer service is unacceptable. Please do better.

Best Spa is truly one of the spa I’ve been to. Lucy was fantastic with the deep tissue massage. She got knots on my upper back and shoulder that I didn’t know was possible. It was a stiff back and I can feel the soreness immediately. We highly recommend to fix your fatigued muscles and would return as soon as possible!!

I was in the neighborhood seeing a friend and I needed a massage. I googled this place and I am extremely happy with my experience. The Spa is on the 2nd floor. (I didn’t have a reservation, but they were able to still schedule me). Upon entering, you take off your shoes to wear their flip flops and they give you shorts and a tshirt to wear, lockers are provided with keys. The full hour long massage felt incredible. I came in for neck and upper back pain and when it was over I felt refreshed. I’m not sure the ladies name that worked on me, but god bless her hands and her strength! It cost $45 for the hour, and of course tipping is definitely required. These therapists are real doctors, and what they do with their hands is magical! Thank you so much. The place is clean, no funny business here.

I’ve been here 2 years ago and recommended to a lots friend, the masseur was great and it’s wonderful at that time. However, when I came back this weekend, it’s awful, the masseur isn’t professional, rude and rush to do all the step, and it’s really hurt to my skin. I don’t even feel relaxed at all, it gave me a lot pains.

This is the absolute BEST massage spot in the city! Reasonable prices and the sweetest staff. Prior to the massage they are always sure to ask if you have any spots that need extra attention, and during the massage the therapist s always ask if the pressure is ok. I come almost weekly and always leave feeling refreshed! Make sure to bring cash for a free hot stone or essential oil treatment :)

The message therapist was detailed, consistent, and communicated with my clearly. I thought the massage was well worth the price. I paid in card but if you pay in cash, you can get a free add-on service like hot stones or essential oils. It's also worth noting their great hospitality and friendly front desk employee (he may also be an owner).

I went twice. Both times disappointing. They promised to address the issues the second time, there wasn’t much improvement and issues remained. Issues being: - they didn’t give me a deep tissue massage, instead they give me a superficial skin rub which achieves no pain relief - the skin rub mentioned above HURTS!!! To explain why, they essentially administer an progressively dryer Indian rug burn on my skin, they genuinely must have no clue what they’re doing considering this is the only place I’ve ever had rug burns - the masseuses hands are extremely weak with no ability to perform proper deep tissue even if she tried - their massage methodology was non existent, they had no method, consistency, symmetry, nor reason to their massage method, they simply jumped around not aware of why or what they were doing Extremely disappointed.

Pure Qi Spa is simply the best massage spa I’ve ever been to. I go every month, more often if there’s a problem. Always feel great for a long time afterwards!! Wonderful staff and massage therapists!

Massage and body scrub was great the only thing upsetting was when leaving they asked for 50% gratuity that wasn’t discussed nor included in the total. Walking out after giving what I felt was good tip when the manager stopped me to ask for more. I did give a little more but I feel it was very rude and so pushy and stop me from leaving. He said it wasn’t mandatory just appreciated but still continued to try guilt or persuade me. Will never go back because of that which is sad because it was a good massage.

I’ve tried a LOT of massage spots in greenpoint and can say hands down this is the best. The gentlemen at the front desk are always so great and welcoming and always put a smile on my face. They are open later than anywhere else which is handy for those who like to have a massage and then roll home and into bed / to sleep. The massages are always excellent and I walk out feeling refreshed and relaxed. The masseuses always manage to get rid of my aches and pains and knots. The place is so clean as well and the fortune cookie and water post massage is a lovely touch. If you don’t have time for a full massage highly recommend the food / lower leg in the chairs too - SO relaxing. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you Pure Qi for always looking after me!

I have been visiting Pure Qi for over a decade. I always get the 90 min deep tissue and never am disappointed. I suffer from scoliosis and have a job where at times I sit stagnant for hours. After my treatment i always leave relaxed and relieved. I visit montly or every two weeks if my schedule permits. A+ on cleanliness, professionalism and addressing isolated issues. The fortune cookie at the end is the cherry!

If you're seeking a rejuvenating experience that combines relaxation and wellness, look no further than the Russian & Turkish Baths. This East Village gem is a haven for those looking to unwind and detoxify in a communal setting. Here, you can immerse yourself in the warmth of traditional Russian saunas or indulge in the soothing steam of Turkish baths. The facility also features invigorating amenities like a cold dipping pool and Swedish showers, making it an ideal spot for both socializing and self-care.
I had the scrub combo and a massage in addition to use of the saunas, cold plunge and steam room. I left feeling literally like a new person. Neck and shoulders relaxed, skin so soft and just an overall peaceful , relaxed feeling. Highly recommend. It was amazing!
Deborah B — Google review
This place is definitely neither a Turkish bath nor a Russian bath. I absolutely do not recommend it in any way. Five of us went together, and it was unbelievably bad and rundown. It has absolutely nothing to do with a proper bathhouse or sauna. I strongly advise against going there. It was an incredibly bad experience for me. Honestly, your own home’s bathroom is much better than this place.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The atmosphere, the people, and the energy were all amazing, truly one of those “only in New York” moments you can’t miss. The entire team made us feel so welcome, and a special shout-out to Zuzzia at the reception, she was phenomenal! Super friendly, gave us a great introduction, and honestly sold us on the place the moment we walked in. If you’re in NYC, this is definitely something you need to try at least once!

Amazing experience. Cold dip soooi cold. Russian room so hot. Just what I needed. Also usually coed so I can hang with my guy friends which I liked.
Aurora S — Google review
I'd spend my money elsewhere and won't come back. My review is based on the staff's management and not the massage treatment I had which was awesome. The staff took it upon themselves to choose the tip I had for the massages I booked for myself and a friend and then acted like that was normal when I asked them. They refused to give me an itemization and said"oh the charges are correct." Had I read reviews on this place before going I would have seen they did this to another reviewer.

This place is an absolutely amazing experience. Don’t deny yourself the opportunity to visit here. The oak branch treatment is next level 🔥
Aaron L — Google review
Opened in 1892, this place is a true classic. Very basic, although clean. Arranging a massage seemed awkward, as you just had to catch one of the techs. Rule is to “stay covered”, but plenty of full bareness. The platza treatment was a first…..does it provide benefits? Maybe.

they should absolutely bring back female only hours. really bad vibe for women here… walking into each dark sauna room in a bathing suit with 10 grown men. go into the next sauna room- same thing. It’s just creepy.. Would not recommend solely because it’s all men and they even have special hours that aren’t coed. If you ask me that’s pretty freaky lol. Would be so enjoyable if they had female hours!

Founded by organic pioneer Carole Bamford, the spa exclusively uses natural and organic ingredients in its treatments. The serene ambiance, adorned with pale wood and soft lighting, complements the use of organic Bamford products for a rejuvenating experience.
This year I stayed at 1 hotel for my birthday. My big desire was visit spa and treat myself. I did a unique massage called Balanced treatment. I really liked the combination of different techniques and the professionalism of the massage therapist. The massage was incredible and I was very relaxed)))) After the massage, I spent time in the lounge area, with delicious tea and fruits. There was a wonderful atmosphere with relax music and electric fireplace. The entire staff of the spa was very attentive and pleasant. I also tried that day a hammam floatation therapy. Highly recommend if you didn’t try it before. I combined it with Facial LED mask. Definitely recommend this spa for you if you want to get high-quality service and a wonderful experience, especially for celebrate any occasions. Thanks to all the spa staff who helped make this day so special)))) Feeling excited to come back again)
Daria S — Google review
On a Saturday after Thanksgiving I visited the Bamford with a friend, and while there were some positives, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a luxury establishment. The front desk staff and our masseuse were lovely and professional, but several issues made it hard to justify the premium pricing. The steam room was out of order, which was disappointing for a high-end spa. The presentation throughout the facility needed attention – the fruit and refreshments looked uninviting, and we noticed staff members casually sitting in public areas, which felt unprofessional. Having experienced the Bamford in Miami, the disparity in quality was quite noticeable. While the Brooklyn location might have different standards, the premium pricing suggests a higher level of refinement should be maintained. Though the core services were satisfactory, the overall experience needs significant improvement to match both the price point and the standards set by comparable luxury establishments.
Hara — Google review
All of the negative reviews of this place are from entitled individuals who have zero respect for service workers and expect everyone to bend over backwards to accommodate them, even when they are obviously in the wrong. This is such a relaxing experience in a lovely part of Brooklyn. The staff are professional and take the time to tailor treatments to your needs. If you are a NORMAL person who understands that arriving to an appointment on time is the bare minimum and you don't fetishize massage therapists, you will have an excellent experience here. :)
Maxime S — Google review
I booked an 80-minute couples massage for a Saturday based on the $695 pricing listed on the spa’s website. At no point during booking was there any mention of “weekend pricing.” After the service, I was shocked to be charged $858 — $1,085 after the mandatory 22% gratuity. When I questioned it, I was told about “weekend pricing,” which was never disclosed upfront. This feels like a clear case of bait-and-switch. To make matters worse, key amenities like the steam room were out of order, and I’ve since emailed and called multiple times with no response. I’d love to return in the future, but this experience was disappointing and the lack of communication is unacceptable.

Nagia gave me the BEST massage I ever had in my life. The facilities are so clean and lovely. They have everything you need to feel pampered and relaxed. Loved having a place to relax after my massage + using the steam room. Highly recommend Nagia! Her technique is incredible ✨

Beautiful Spa, but I would say the services aren’t really worth the money. I had some treatments done on a recent visit, and it felt incredibly rushed and mediocre at best. The Spa felt really unorganized as well. Also, while showering after my treatments the handle in the shower broke (see photo) and I was unable to adjust the temperature which was way too hot. Probably won’t be back to this location but the one in South Beach is phenomenal.

Spa de La Mer is a tranquil spa located in the Baccarat Hotel that helps to keep the mind and body in balance with its signature offerings like The La Mer Miracle Broth Facial.
This spa exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed and welcomed. Maria at the front desk was absolutely wonderful – friendly, helpful, and very professional. She answered all my questions, guided me through the process, and set the tone for an incredible spa day. I left feeling completely refreshed and will definitely return!

Booked a 60 minute massage at the baccarat spa de la mer as a birthday treat. The massage itself was relaxing and enjoyable. The amenities include a steam room, showers and a salt water pool with cabanas. The whole experience start to finish was wonderful, if overpriced. However that is to be expected in a hotel spa. Recommended for a special treat.

I have been to this spa a couple of times before, but my recent facial with Lina was by far one of the best I ever had. She is incredibly skilled, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personalized and truly relaxing. I left feeling refreshed and glowing! The entire spa has such a welcoming, peaceful, and calming atmosphere—from the moment you walk in, you feel taken care of. I can’t wait to come back and will definitely be booking with Lina again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-quality spa experience. Thank you ✨

Every visit to Spa de La Mer is a five-star experience, and a big part of that is thanks to Virginia. I've had the 90-minute deep tissue massage with her several times now and she is truly exceptional at what she does. Every single time I leave a session with Virginia, all my pain is completely gone and I feel like a brand new person. She has an incredible ability to find the problem areas and work them out with just the right pressure and technique. It's clear she not only knows what she's doing, but truly cares about helping her clients feel better. If you're looking for someone who takes their craft seriously and delivers results, I 100% recommend Virginia, she's a magician! After your massage session, you can hang out by the beautiful pool and relax in the cabanas. Whether you're just visiting or live in the city, I'd definitely recommend, it is always an amazing experience.
Sheila P — Google review
Avoid! They only let you use the amenities for 60 minutes, despite advertising otherwise. I arrived at 12:30pm for a 60 minute massage at 12:45pm. After the massage, I waited for a cabana by the pool to be available (about a15 minute wait), and then sat at a Cabana and ordered food. (I ordered food at 2:10pm. The bill was approximately $140 for my food. Food arrived at 2:45pm.) Upon checking out from my spa services at 4:45pm, I was told that I had stayed at the pool too long, and my limit was supposed to be 1 hour. I was shocked, especially given that: Their website states: "A visit to our luxury spa includes pool and jacuzzi access." And, in confirmation emails for appointments, they state: "We welcome you to arrive at least thirty to forty-five minutes prior to take use of our facilities which consists of a salt water pool and whirlpool, our relaxation cabanas and separate male and female steam room and showers. You are also more than welcome to take use of our facilities after your services." If they want to have a time limit, they should make sure that is clear in the booking. It was a terrible way to end what was supposed to be a relaxing experience :(

I really wanted to give Spa de La Mer 5 stars as there is potential to being 5 stars. I have experienced many 5 star spa accomadations throughout the world but Spa de La Mer fell short of my expectations. The spa was luxurious and relaxing. The pool area and cabanas were a nice touch to relax between treatments.. Check in was quick and friendly. The technicians were friendly and gentle. However, the spa is located on -2 floor. Yes, the basement. Which means you will hear the subway rumble by every 5 min during your treatment and the room will rattle a bit. This was a disruptive and the reason for removing 1 star.

Soho Sanctuary is a women-only spa located in the heart of SoHo, offering a wide range of services including massages, scrubs, facials, makeup application, waxing, and private fitness classes such as yoga and pilates. The spa provides a serene and relaxing environment with its clean and spacious space adorned with wood, candles, and welcoming decor. It also features an innovative approach to pedicures that includes warm towels and an amazing foot massage.
I usually don't leave reviews but this spa was different! My sister recommended that I try Soho Sanctuary and I am so happy I did. I went in for a signature facial. The spa is located conveniently in the heart of Soho. After entering I was quickly transported to a relaxing and zen environment which is a nice change from the busy streets below. The wood, candles and décor and front desk staff made me feel welcome. The space is very clean and spacious and there is even a steam room you can book to use. My esthetician, Susana was very attentive and created a calm experience. I left the spa feeling rejuvenated and refreshed! Can't wait to come back for my next facial!

I’ve been coming to Soho Sanctuary for years. I love that it is a small spa that caters to women only. It’s warm and inviting and everyone makes you feel welcome. I continue to come back as this is the best facial I’ve ever had. Bibi is excellent. She takes the time to really evaluate your skincare needs and suggests the best treatment for you. She is very knowledgeable but also never tries to upsell you. She has delicate hands, and my skin always comes out glowing. I am always getting compliments on my skin and it’s in large part to my regular facials with Bibi.

I had the greatest experience here today. My prenatal massage with Gisela and my prenatal facial with Beatriz were exquisite, and made this mama feel so relaxed!

This spa is the hidden gem and never disappoints - a large loft like space that seems to take up the whole floor of the building and yet it has an intimate and cozy feel . I’ve had massages, facial’s, workouts and had my nails done here and they have all been wonderful and the spaces are all so elegant - it surpasses my expectations each time . The steam room is also delicious ! I think part of its charm is that it’s a women’s-only spa . I’ve also spotted some very elite celebs here so I guess they are in on the secret ! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a high- end spa experience.

Services are great -- I got various massages at Soho Spa. Facilities are clean, cozy and tranquil. Samples are a delight. In addition to service quality, I wanted to mention that owner and manager of the spa were incredibly accommodating when I reached out to them with an unusual request. While I can't share personal details, my ask was met with understanding and compassion. I can't be more satisfied with Soho Spa.

I was here about a week ago for a post holiday wind down and the only complaint I have is that I couldn’t spend more time there! I booked a mani/pedi with Beatriz a while back and was so pleased with the service and the ambiance of the spa. I decided to come back for a facial last week and much to my surprise Beatriz was my esthetician. She informed me she also does massages and after the amazing facial I had, I’ll definitely be booking a massage with this triple threat soon. Front desk was so welcoming and the spa is clean and makes you feel safe ! Will be back soon!!!

This spa is a little oasis located in the heart of soho. It is very clean and well decorated, creating a relaxing and serene environment. The staff are all extremely nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. I had the privilege of receiving a massage and a manicure, and of course I used the steam room while I was there. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the daily hustle and bustle of NYC and just relax for awhile.

King Spa & Sauna in Palisades Park, NJ offers a unique and relaxing experience with its gender-segregated steam and treatment rooms. Visitors can explore various relaxation areas and saunas, including the salt room with hanging bags. The facility also offers package deals that include admission, massages, meals, and face masks. While it can get busy, especially on weekends, visiting during weekdays or off-peak hours allows for a more peaceful experience.
My sister and I came here as we love Korean spas, and this was our first time here. We got the 30 minute scrub and 30 minute oil massage. I find it typical that you’re not given exact instructions and in some cases this is true here. For instance we weren’t told we had to get in line to check out and the sign was facing the other way. But the clerk gave us extra facial packets for our trouble. The spa room has 3 hot tubs of various temperatures plus a cold plunge and steam room. The lady who did my scrub was friendly and shared some laughs as I tried to interpret her instructions. The scrub was great and thorough and the oil massage is an actual brisk and firm massage with baby oil. For us, 30 minutes for each of these was plenty. But I recommend you get both! You only get one towel included, which isn’t enough for the showers you’ll need. You can rent a second towel for $2. Just give us a second one for the money we spend, puhleeze! This place is sprawling! So many saunas and sitting areas and red light treatment areas. Even an ice sauna, which is hidden by the dessert counter and heavenly after the saunas. We didn’t eat there because you have to wear the “uniform“ everywhere and ours was pretty sweaty by then. We ate at a nice place around the corner. This is a great place to spend a few hours of bliss. Especially on a rainy day! Courteous staff, clean facilities, and so good for you!

⸻ I visited this spa after purchasing a Groupon, attracted by the promise of a Korean spa experience featuring sauna and dry steam rooms. While the environment was generally clean and quiet, I found it to be a bit pricey for what was actually offered. A few of the advertised facilities were either unavailable or not fully operational during my visit, which was disappointing given the cost. Another drawback was the strict closing procedures. Although the spa is advertised to close at 2:00 AM, staff began shutting things down promptly at 1:30 AM and made it clear that guests needed to wrap up. It felt rushed and cut into the relaxing experience you expect from a late-night spa visit. I had hoped to try the food, but because of the timing of my visit and the early wind-down, I didn’t get the chance. The menu looked decent, but it’s hard to comment without having tried it. Overall, while the spa has potential and some nice features, the combination of unavailable amenities, the rushed closing process, and the higher-than-expected price point left me underwhelmed. For the value, I’d suggest exploring other options before committing to this one.
Christian R — Google review
I've been to a couple other Korean spas in Jersey and in Georgia and this is by far my favorite. It's worth the commute and after one positive experience, I bought two more passes to return! Their cafe serves good food (but it is expensive so be prepared). The place is huge so it never feels crazy crowded like most other spas. I appreciate their dedication to cleanliness and the kindness of their staff. I would recommend the Korean body scrub for sure. I absolutely love the amount of chairs and lounge areas this facility has. The number of saunas here is incredible. Taking your time and exploring all of them is so fun and relaxing. It's a true mental reprieve. No negatives from me. I'm hooked.

I’ve gone to almost every spa in the tri-state area, this is my favorite because they have so so many different saunas and services! The Korean body scrub is so so so worth it please get it, you won’t regret it. Also I tried the hip bath for the first time (for women only) and it’s LIFE changing! The prices here are very reasonable and it’s very clean and everyone is very nice. I can’t wait to return again!

Nice place. We just came back after last winter and stayed 3 hours today and the tall guy who attended us didn't offer the 5 tickets promo... he just charged both of us full price wich is not nice from him... who somebody told me later is the boss. So if you come for few hours try to get the cheapest one, even if he said he will charge full price.
エスコバーカルロス(Escobar) — Google review
This spa is very nice. It has many different hot rooms to choose from. They’re not too crowded on weekdays and you can also pay extra to stay over night. The place is very clean and the women and men additional to the grouped areas have their own private gender rooms. There are payed for massages and body scrubs and food that you can buy which is prepared when you order and is very delicious.
Olga T — Google review
This spa is always incredibly clean with a very hardworking and kind staff who are always willing to assist you. The prices are very well worth it and the food is always fresh and ready in about 10 min. I'd say each room is am experience within itself. They have multiple steam rooms and a cold room along with a room that is considered the hottest room they have which you might want to go into after pregaming with the warm rooms. They have plenty of table games and have a little movie area. Overall we highly recommend going here on a weekday to avoid large crowds.
Igor T — Google review
The place is very clean and organized! Food good quality, a little pricey but not disappointed. The saunas are great! Many of them, so relaxing.. lot of things to do! Liked the table games. I’ve never had done a nude experience and it wasn’t bad at all, but you don’t have to do it if you don’t want it, you can skip that part, just keep in mind that is the only area that have hot tubs. If you don’t want to go nude the options are the saunas food, light therapy and table games. I just would be a little more strict with the noise. Some areas are very relaxing but people can be very loud around and there is a beep and a machine that is always calling numbers when you make an order of food or drinks, I personally think that disturbs the relaxing ambiance when you are into it. The overall experience was good! I will come back.

I remember going to this place in 2018 on St Marks Pl. Now that I'm back in NY, I'm glad there's still an option open. It's literally right in front of the L subway exit. There are few places to sit, and since we went on a weekday afternoon, it was empty. They have many flavors of donuts, at least 18, and hot and cold drinks. We ate the donuts there and asked for more to bring. The donuts are very light, the dough is very good. The toppings are very tasty, the best donut I've ever had, exactly as I remember from 7 years ago. And the best part is that everything is vegan.

Had the french toast donut and a lemon filled. Both incredible. Never had vegan donuts so perfect. I've had many donuts around the country and these are some of the best I've ever had! The staff was super friendly and even helped me with directions after my phone died. And the prices I found super reasonable.

I truly love the donuts here — they’re incredible! Soft, fresh, and the fact that they’re vegan makes them even better. But I have to say, the owner’s husband completely ruins the vibe. His energy is nasty, racist, and just plain ugly. When he came out, the whole atmosphere shifted — even the owner seemed uncomfortable, and that said a lot. To make things worse, he ignored me and gave another customer their order before mine. It felt intentional and disrespectful. He’s honestly dragging her business down. She seems like such a sweet person, but he’s the reason I wouldn’t rush back. Sir, please stay in the back where you belong until you learn how to treat people with kindness and basic respect. The donuts? AMAZING. The husband? Absolutely not.

Amazing vegan donuts with a lot of variety. They typically have special weekend flavors too. Their coffee is great too! The interior offers a comfortable and lowkey vibe. Limited seating, though (a window bar/barstools and few outdoor seats). They are open until sold out, which usually occurs ~4:00 PM, give or take an hour. I definitely recommend visiting Dun-Well! Items pictured: strawberry shortcake cheesecake donut (weekend special flavor) and horchata latte. 100% vegan menu!

No notes. Fantastic vibes inside with animal friendly signs and decor up. The donuts are pillowy and soft with the perfect texture. Would fool a non vegan they are incredible.

Dun-Well Doughnuts is a Brooklyn staple for a reason. The doughnuts are soft, fresh, and packed with flavor—always creative without being over the top. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a classic glazed or try something fun and seasonal, and either way, you leave happy. The shop itself has a cool, low-key vibe, and the staff is always welcoming. Whether you’re vegan or not, these doughnuts stand on their own—delicious, satisfying, and made with care. Definitely one of my go-to treats in the city.

The finger sandwiches, pastries and teas were delicious. It was an exceptionally experience. You must go at least one. Enjoy your visit.

We had the most awful experience here. When you go somewhere like this, paying prices like $36 - $38 for a turkey club, you expect good service and the fries that are served hot. The hotel included a service charge of 18% - we would have left nothing the service was so bad. Absolutely abysmal service. Firstly we asked the server if we could put our coats somewhere. He looked at us and said - "you can put it on the chair next to you", w. We had wine and water, when the water arrived there was only one glass which was slammed down on the table, water splashing everywhere. We had dietary concerns and when asked what could be altered to be gluten free the server looked at us and said "whatever" and was very dismissive. When the food arrived it was cold and the wine wasn't fresh. The only saving grace was because we had our jackets we were able to make a quick exit. AVOID THIS PLACE.

The staff and the hotel are superb! The staff are so helpful. Jose and Erica were the two that stood out to me. We did the Home Alone 2 experience. Wow. It included a 4 hour limo ride to all the hot spots, and our driver Mike was so kind he let us pick where we wanted to go. It came with a hot cheese pizza and a cooler full of Coke a cola and water. Then you get 19 scoops of ice cream with all of the toppings. Served through room service. Also got a teddy bear with a balloon and two turtle dove ornaments like in the movie. They always have real flowers. They told me they change them out every Thursday. The shower has wonderful water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Our room has a terrace. I really enjoyed being out there listening to the water fountain. There are 2 chaise loungers to sit on. The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. It is expensive but I feel it was worth every penny .

After Foot Heaven closed during the pandemic I was in search of another place to make my regular go-to for massage therapy. I found Renew Day Spa (just steps away from the former Foot Heaven) and was not disappointed. I just have to say what pressure I prefer and my masseuse does the rest. I’ll have specific areas that are sore or bothersome and they locate it and work the area without me saying a word. I don’t know how they do it! Nestled near McCarren Park, Bathhouse Williamsburg is a unique high-end spa that caters to both individuals and large groups. Since its opening in 2019, it has become a favorite spot for locals like style consultant Kathleen Ma, who often enjoys the spacious sauna with friends—boasting stadium seating, it's one of the largest in NYC. The spa's founder Anna Zahn appreciates its quality treatments and inviting amenities.
I went to the bathhouse at 9:30 AM for the weekday morning session. We were the fourth group to arrive on the rooftop, so it was easy to grab free bean bag chairs. The city view was beautiful, quiet, clean, and relaxing. The staff were friendly too. Unfortunately, there weren’t many free chairs near the pool (though all the couches in the back were available). There were lots of sauna options and baths with different temperatures. I tried the Aufguss sauna ritual for the first time and really enjoyed it. I liked how they waved the towel to circulate the hot air. The restaurant’s food and coffee were great—delicious! I highly recommend it. We ended up staying from 9:30 to 3:00. I’ll definitely go back on a weekday—it wasn’t crowded at all.
Michina K — Google review
I love the Bathhouse! It is so relaxing and much needed. Everything is pretty clean and the experience is great. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are awesome! I love the pools and doing a cold plunge for the first time, it changed my perspective on them for the better! The price isn’t bad for the day pass, I came at 9:30 on a Sunday and paid $65. I stayed until 2pm so it was well worth it. The rooftop pool was so nice but I didn’t know it was mostly reservations for a chair which is kind of frustrating because there was not many people up there when I went yet I couldn’t sit in the empty reserved chairs. Everything should be first come first serve like normal. The prices in the rooftop are also a bit expensive, a +$2 difference from the cafe in drinks. $19 for a mimosa or a spritz is crazy considering we are paying for facilities, that price is more than a club and also note that gratuity is added automatically so for 2 drinks I paid about $46. Otherwise everything else was great! I definitely will be going back just maybe no more drinks.
Kaydren N — Google review
I’ve been here a few times now and have always enjoyed coming here. This was my first time being back since they added the rooftop pool and additional baths. This was my second time dining in the cafe. This time there was an automatic 20% gratuity included. This is after paying at the counter, $17 for 4 wings, getting my own water, and getting the hot sauce that the staff member said “you can go grab yourself”. Other than cook the chicken myself, I did most of the work but was charged a mandatory 20% tip. It ended up being over $5/wing. Definitely recommend eating beforehand. I understand the automated tip at the rooftop bar where they are serving you.
Dana — Google review
The installations are impeccable and clean. As soon you arrive you feel the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere the restrooms have clean towels and all you need such as shampoo conditioner etc etc the pools are not that crowded and the temperature is just perfect. The rooftop pool has an amazing city view however the furniture could use a deep clean and maintenance all the beds were dirty and wet.

An amazing spa experience in the heart of Brooklyn! The Bathhouse in Brooklyn is simply outstanding — a real urban oasis! Everything is designed to perfection, from the sleek atmosphere to the relaxing vibes that make you forget you’re in the middle of the city. The steam rooms and saunas are set at perfect temperatures, offering the ideal balance between heat and comfort. The pools are stunning, spotless, and incredibly relaxing — a true pleasure after a long day of walking around NYC. What really impressed me were the premium self-care products available in the showers — top quality and with amazing scents. Every detail feels carefully curated to create a first-class wellness experience. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and treat yourself, Bathhouse Brooklyn is an absolute must-visit. As an avid spa-goer who’s visited countless wellness destinations, Bathhouse Williamsburg is easily one of my all-time favorites. The facilities are immaculately modern, soothing, and beautifully maintained. There are endless sauna & thermal experiences to enjoy, each space thoughtfully designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. The Aufguss was fabulous — invigorating, sensory, and unforgettable. The steam room was one of the best I’ve ever experienced, and complete with a built-in shower and dreamy purple lighting that felt otherworldly. Slides are provided, as well as plenty of towels throughout, which made the experience effortless and comfortable, and extra sanitary There are water stations conveniently placed around the spa, though I would’ve loved to see one inside the locker room — and perhaps a complimentary herbal or detox tea offering, which always feels like a beautiful touch in these environments. The women’s locker room itself was spotless and perfectly stocked with everything needed. The café was lovely — serene and stylish, with a fantastic menu. My green juice and chia seed pudding with rhubarb were both exceptional. My friends food looked fabulous too. The rooftop pool was incredible - warm and relaxing, even in October, with incredible city views and comfortable cabana seating. Ended the day there with a treat to myself, an aperol spritz, it was $25. I may have missed it, but I would’ve loved to experience a saltwater bath or pool as part of the hydrotherapy options — that would make an already perfect experience truly complete. At times, the music in a few sauna rooms was a bit louder or more upbeat than my preference for deep relaxation, but I understand that’s part of Bathhouse’s modern New York vibe. Overall, Bathhouse Williamsburg delivers an unmatched spa experience — clean, stylish, rejuvenating, and thoughtfully curated. I left feeling refreshed, restored, and completely in awe. I’d love to visit their flatiron location next & book a spa service with my next visit. I’ll absolutely be back — and would genuinely fly into town just to spend another day here. It was the first thing I did when I got off the plane. Highly recommend.

I had an European facial with Lucy, and she was amazing! My skin feels so hydrated and refreshed. The spa itself was incredibly relaxing, and I went with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. We booked the birthday package, which came with cupcakes, candles, and fun birthday crowns. It was such a special and wonderful experience! Very recommended! :))

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t recommend **ZZ Day Spa** on East 56th Street enough! This new massage place in NYC is amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that immediately put me at ease. The spa’s atmosphere is the perfect blend of elegance and tranquility — every detail, from the soothing lighting to the calming music, creates an oasis right in the middle of bustling Manhattan. While waiting for my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised with a delicious mimosa, which was such a thoughtful and luxurious touch. It was the perfect way to start unwinding before my massage. Speaking of the massage, **Patricia** was absolutely outstanding. She is a true expert—attentive, skilled, and intuitive. Patricia took the time to understand exactly what I needed and tailored the session accordingly. Her technique was both powerful and gentle, easing all my tension and leaving me feeling completely rejuvenated. I left the massage room feeling lighter, refreshed, and cared for in a way that’s rare to find. The entire experience was seamless—from check-in to check-out, every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional. The spa itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful waiting area that made me feel like I was truly stepping away from the city chaos, if only for a little while. ZZ Day Spa isn’t just a place for a massage; it’s a sanctuary for self-care and relaxation. Whether you’re a local or just visiting NYC, treat yourself to this exceptional experience—you deserve it. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

From the moment you walk in you feel like royalty. Joined the spa for a lovely couples afternoon. The couples massage room with private hot top, chocolate and champagne is beyond relaxing. The personalized facial offers a refreshed face for the rest of the day. Followed by a tranquil private spot to continue relaxing with more champagne, chocolates and apps. And they even leave you with a Rose and free gift. We will absolutely be back!

We visited for the 50 minute Swedish massage birthday package. It was wonderful! The service is incredible from start to finish! They provide you with champagne and chocolates before and after. Once your massage is complete, they bring out a birthday cupcake. They also have a really cute selfie room! Definitely recommend.

5 Stars – An Unforgettable Birthday Experience at ZZ Spa NYC! We had the most incredible time celebrating my wife’s birthday at ZZ Spa! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and pampered. We booked the full romantic couples package, and every detail was perfect — from the relaxing atmosphere to the exceptional care of the therapists. What truly made the day unforgettable was the personal touch from the owner, who not only checked in to make sure everything was perfect but also surprised my wife by singing “Happy Birthday” with such sincerity that it brought her to tears. It was such a heartfelt moment and made the day extra special. The professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail here are unmatched. My wife said it was the best birthday she’s ever had, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend ZZ Spa to anyone looking for a truly luxurious and memorable experience in NYC!

Absolutely loved my European Facial with Kate, she did such an amazing job. My skin feels very hydrated and clean. I went together with a friend, celebrating our birthdays. They gave us some cupcakes, and Apple Cider / Mimosa or Champagne. The atmosphere of Spa is super relaxing, and very calming. I can highly recommend this Spa if you’re looking for place to escape the fast paced city, and are in need of self care!

I had a great experience. My partner bought me a package to get a massage, facial, and mani-pedi. They were all incredibly professional and even gave me a cupcake for my birthday. I also loved that they had fresh water and many other drinks to choose from. Most of all, it was incredibly clean.

I had an amazing time at the ZZ Day Spa! My therapist did a great job with my problematic areas. I work with adults with disabilities so I do a lot of physical labor. The services I received not only relaxed my mind but physically helped me restart. Complimentary mimosa was the cherry on top! Thank you for the spectacular service! I will be considering getting a membership to enjoy my time here again.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is a trendy hotel located above the Brooklyn Bridge Park, offering stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Guests can enjoy a peaceful sanctuary with rustic wood planks on the ceiling and stone-walled bathrooms in their rooms. The rooftop pool with a bar offers a relaxing atmosphere, although it can fill up quickly due to its relatively small size. The hotel's signature scent creates an inviting ambiance throughout the lobby.
I came here for business outing with my job. The location was really nice. We were able to find parking at a reasonable price at the hotel. It started raining out so we were bot able to go to the rooftop. The staff definitely accommodated us with space. We still had an absolutely beautiful view. I am allergic to many foods. They made sure to find something that I could eat. The food was great, the service was great and the view was so beautiful. I would definitely go back.

STAY AWAY! As far away as possible! While the view from our room was admittedly stunning, that's where the positives end entirely. From the moment we arrived, the experience was appalling. The staff was cold and unwelcoming—no warmth, no hospitality, just indifference. Within minutes of walking in to my room, I stepped on glass. Rather than rushing to help or showing any concern, the staff did absolutely nothing about it. This set the tone for our entire stay. We requested turndown service (i.e. to clean the glass), which was never provided. We were then outright lied to by staff about the restaurant's menu availability—we planned our evening around having access to the full menu, only to find out they'd serve only a limited selection. The spa, which was part of why we chose this hotel, was completely closed during our stay. No advance notice, no alternatives offered, nothing. Saturday night was supposed to feature a rooftop party, which was one of the highlights we'd been anticipating. They randomly decided to close the rooftop that evening—the weather was perfectly fine, so there was no legitimate reason. Just another promise broken and another disappointment. The pool experience was equally disastrous. Every single food and drink order was messed up. It took literal hours to finally get what we actually ordered. It genuinely felt like it was everyone's first day on the job. How does a luxury hotel operate with such a poorly trained staff? At checkout, we spoke with Alex, the manager, who made multiple promises about adjustments to our bill and other compensation to make things right and encourage us to give the hotel another chance. Not a single promise was kept. We never received any compensation whatsoever, despite spending an exorbitant amount—truly an arm and a leg—for what turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. For the premium price point of this property, the service, honesty, and basic safety standards should be impeccable. Instead, we got dishonesty, negligence, and broken promises from management. Save your money and book literally anywhere else. The view simply isn't worth it.

Completely unprofessional, insensitive and unacceptable behavior from a place that calls itself a “hospitality” business. ALL of the front desk, security employees & management that worked Saturday Oct 18, 2025 especially “manager” Mercedes, ruined what was supposed to be one of the most special nights of my life. I had just gotten engaged and only a few hours later around 8:30 PM, after spending thousands on a celebration, a few family members helped my fiancé and I bring gifts up to our room. Not even 10 minutes later, Mercedes came to our door claiming there was a “noise complaint” and said that because “other guests paid a lot of money to be here” she needed to call security and have us removed. One of their employees made a 70 year old woman in our family cry, and instead of showing any empathy, another employee LAUGHED at her for crying. Moments later, they forced all of us to vacate immediately or they would call the police, for absolutely no valid reason. We asked to speak to the general manager several times and refused to come speak with us and would not show any security footage for things they were claiming happened that NEVER did. The disrespect and lack of compassion shown that night was unreal. The staff made us feel humiliated and completely dismissed as if the money we spent and the reason we were there didn’t matter at all. This hotel clearly only cares about select guests and has zero understanding of what true hospitality means. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re celebrating something important. Shame on you all.

My wife and I stayed here twice once for our anniversary . The view near the Brooklyn Bridge and the new york skyline is great. The first time a bottle of wine was waiting for us when we returned from the rooftop pool. This rooftop has a bar that visitors not only guest of the hotel can enjoy. The pool area is for guest and we enjoyed it both times .the second time we were surprised with a bowl of fruit .the decor is really nice and comfortable with a indoor waterfall and the smell is a unique blend created and sold in the gift store in the lobby. In the rooms there is the same fragrance in the lotion and body wash and shampoo. We were also given a complimentary glass of wine In which we enjoyed outside in one of the restaurants on the first floor. One of the times I mistakenly broke a wine glass and brought it downstairs expecting to be charge but they were nice about it .

Staying at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge felt like a dream easily one of the most stunning hotels in NYC. The design is pure aesthetic goals nature inspired textures, earthy tones, and that signature view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline that literally never gets old. From sunrise coffee on the balcony to sunset cocktails on the rooftop pool, every moment here felt cinematic. The vibe is eco luxury meets city soul calm, elevated, and effortlessly cool. The staff made the experience feel so personal and warm every detail was intentional, every corner was photo-worthy. If you’re visiting New York and want the perfect mix of peace, style, and skyline magic… this is the spot

Every detail — from the stunning views to the thoughtful touches in our room — made our stay unforgettable. The hospitality was truly top-tier, and the entire team made our wedding weekend feel extra special. We can’t thank them enough for making such an important moment in our lives even more memorable.

It's beautiful, it smells good, it's well located. Its natural, organic feel, with its distinctive scent, is interesting. I just think the accommodations are a little below standard. It could be more luxurious given what the hotel has to offer. It's very simple, with simple decor, in a minimalist style. But the beds are comfortable. The view from my room was of the Statue of Liberty in the distance. But the view from the terrace and the pool is fascinating. It's worth every second spent admiring it from there! It looks like a painting. The location is sensational, in one of the hottest spots in NY. You go downstairs and find bars, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, tours... everything is easy to get to for sightseeing around the city streets.

The rooftop has stunning views and a great atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, though drinks were average and overpriced. Service was excellent, and the DJ starting at 6 sets a lively party vibe. It’s a fun spot, especially for those who come for the view and energy.

Mandarin Oriental, New York is a luxurious high-rise hotel known for its elite service, stunning spa, and impressive views. The 75-foot lap pool overlooks the Hudson River, while the MO Lounge offers a backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. The rooms blend timeless luxury with contemporary elements, featuring lavish curtains, modern artworks, and reflective metal details. With its bustling Columbus Circle location and five-star spa, this hotel is popular among both business and leisure travelers.
This place is absolutely worth every penny. The property is beautiful and well maintained and the food is delicious. The service is what makes this hotel though. The staff is so accommodating and friendly - one of the few places that offers an elevated experience without being stuffy. The small things they do make a difference- for example they serve breakfast until 1130 and even then if you run late they will still allow you to order slightly past that. The restaurant hostess made sure we got moved to the window table we wanted though it was not available when we first sat down. She also remembered me the next day snd pointed me to where my mom had already sat down. Front desk staff was also so pleasant to interact with. These things make a huge difference in a world where most hotels have become so rigid in their policies that they have totally forgotten about the guest experience. Their spa is also top notch and offers the same level of attentiveness. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Decided to spend for a 5 night stay at the Mandarin Oriental and so far we are having an amazing and very comfortable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel special, helping with our luggage and making check-in quick and easy. The lobby is beautiful and smells so nice, with a calm and elegant atmosphere that already makes you feel relaxed. Our room is unique because it is triangle shaped, which makes it feel extra special and gives us such an interesting layout. It is large, spotless, and designed with so much detail. The bed is incredibly comfortable with soft sheets and pillows, and the view from the windows is stunning, especially at night when the city lights up. The bathroom feels like a spa with a big bathtub, luxury toiletries, and soft towels. Everything in the room feels high quality and well taken care of. The service so far has been top level, with staff always ready to help and making sure we have everything we need. Every little detail feels thought out to make our stay perfect. Spending a few nights here feels like a real treat and I’m very happy with the choice. Thank you to the whole Mandarin Oriental team for making our stay feel so special and relaxing.

Staying at Mandarin Oriental, New York was an unforgettable experience. The service felt magical like having a genie at your fingertips. Every request was answered swiftly and graciously, often arriving at our door almost immediately. Our room had a breathtaking view over Central Park and was immaculately clean, with every detail perfectly cared for from the linens to the amenities. The breakfast was exceptional the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Manhattan, with easy access to iconic sights, shopping, and dining. It truly feels like the center of everything, making it effortless to explore the best of New York. I still miss waking up to that incredible view and the hotel’s signature scent that lingered in the air. (I wish I had asked what fragrance they use so I could bring a little of that atmosphere home.) Thank you, Mandarin Oriental, for making our time in New York so memorable. It’s not just a hotel stay it’s a true experience of comfort, beauty, and world-class hospitality.

Luxurious, very classy, beautiful hotel at Columbus Circle on the south end of Central Park. The staff is amazingly warm and welcoming and supportive. The restaurant food is delicious. One of my best experiences while I was there was eating dinner at the hotel restaurant by myself. The staff was so supportive and welcoming to me that I had a lovely time, even though I was alone. The rooms are luxurious and have amazing views of the city skyline. The hotel is very expensive, but for a special splurge it is definitely worth it.

Deserving of a 6 Star rating. I have listed several experiences on this short 4 day stay. We chose the Mandran because it is close to the Lincoln Theater. My wife had a small issue with another guest. The staff was engaged and responsive. Without us having to ask, Sebastian reached out to me to follow up and went above and beyond for us to make sure we were taken care of. I truly appreciate that he took a small concern and acted on it with style. While waiting for my wife I went to the bar for a quick drink. I was surprised to see a speakeasy style bar that was very comfortable. The Bartender was very friendly, attentive and professional. He made me a cocktail called the Bangkok. It was so good, I ordered another one to go. When I returned to the room, my wife who is not a big drinker actually drank the whole thing. The attention to detail from the bar staff and manager was second to none. The Bartender was clearly one of the best. On our way out I ordered an uber on my phone. We got downstairs a tad late but the doorman had already told our driver where to wait, stopped traffic for us, and escorted us to our car. Exceptional service. I would like again the Thank Sebastian for not just giving me a meaningless apology and sympathy, but for taking action. Every encounter with every employee was professional, calm, and relaxing. In the US and abroad we usually seek out a Four Seasons for their excellent properties and service. The Manderian staff and accommodation exceeded your typical 5 star expectation. Great Job!

We checked out yesterday and realized we left something behind in the room. After a quick call today, their lost and found reported they retrieved our item and will return it promptly. This is pretty rare--typically if things are left behind, like my husband's work iPhone in our Avis rental car, they are never to be seen again. I commend the Mandarin Hotel NYC for their honesty and kindness and wish other places could mimic their actions. Also every service person at this hotel went above and beyond. Thank you.

Booked for multiple nights and left after just one. The most uncomfortable bed I've experienced in a 5-star hotel. They've apparently even changed the beds recently after many complaints, but it was only marginally better than sleeping on a door. They're clearly cutting corners. Also found multiple hairs in the room, and the decor is dark and uninviting. The only positive thing I can say is that the MO hires quality staff, and they wanted to make the issues right. Not their fault that upper management is messing up the brand. Just time to move on from the Mandarin Oriental.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 26th birthday at this hotel thanks to my wonderful husband. The staff (special thanks to Danny and Miles!) went above and beyond. I was welcomed in our suite with 26 roses and a birthday cake. The room, the service, the kindness, and the location in this combination are truly unique for New York. I’ve been to this city countless times, but the Mandarin Oriental has made it my best experience so far. (I’m German, so my reviews are brutally honest, haha!) Thank you!

Located in the heart of New York City, Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown offers sophisticated and luxurious accommodations in a high-rise setting. The hotel features a steak restaurant and bar, as well as an upscale spa for guests to enjoy. It is renowned for being one of the best family-friendly hotels in NYC, providing amenities such as complimentary coloring books, child-sized robes, and baby-proofing items.
My husband, daughter and I recently stayed at the Four Seasons downtown for one night to celebrate Father’s Day. From the moment we made the reservation, the service from the hotel was amazing. They were responsive to requests and went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for our stay. Upon our arrival they had goodies for our daughter and made us feel so welcome and at home. The suite we stayed in was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable. They sent us champagne, cookies, and cupcakes help us celebrate the occasion. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so memorable. The hospitality and attention to detail are exactly why we choose the Four Seasons.

Just returned home. Our stay at the Four Seasons overall was 5 stars. Very accommodating in checking us in earlier than 3pm. And granting our request for late checkout as our transportation plans were delayed. We love the new tech way of communicating. Advance text message a few days prior to check in. And the ongoing communication on text platform assures effective communication without stress. Also use of the tablet in the room is an additional bonus for communicating. Hopefully, Four Seasons will consider the perks the company use to offer for the “cost” per room. The house car in my opinion is truly the luxury feel or the cherry on top that sets a luxury hotel apart compared to others . Not sure if FS can pitch a tier plan to offer to their guests . Room service is extremely pricey at least $10-$12 more than the norm although good quality food.. The Spa prices are a bit pricey. We had to opt for spa services off property because it was a little too pricey for a massage. The rooms are spotless, the soaking tub is amazing!!!! If FS would consider medium firm Foam Mattresses for the future, makes the body feel better. Overall our stay was pleasant and we thank you for our anniversary amenity 🙏

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown during my vacation, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. The room was incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with a fantastic view of the city skyline. The location was perfect—within walking distance of the World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial, and some great restaurants and shopping spots. I felt completely safe both inside the hotel and around the neighborhood, even during nighttime walks. One of the best parts of my stay was the food. The in-house restaurant served delicious meals, and room service was always fast and courteous. I also enjoyed spending time at the spa and pool, which added to the relaxation. This hotel is a great blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City—whether you're here for business or just exploring the Big Apple.

I’ve been to many four seasons including Boston, Seattle, Dallas & Houston locations and absolutely love this one. Have stayed here a few times and can’t wait to come back. Can always count on the rooms being clean, water available and staff willing to help. Great place to stay when I’m there for work and it’s close to my favorite deli, Katz.

We were very disappointed with the Four Seasons Hotel Downtown. For $1,500 per night, there were far too many problems to ever come back. You walk into a small lobby whose design could be anywhere. Every Four Seasons city hotel looks exactly the same, devoid of any character. We also found the food and service to be bad. We order room service - 2 coffees and mixed berries - for $89. The berries were tasteless and some had mold on them. We then went to the restaurant for breakfast and were told it was at capacity and had to wait 20 min to be seated, which is totally unacceptable. They were very short staffed and it took us far too long to order. The table next to us couldn’t even find a server to request the bill. All in all, it was a disappointing stay with bad service and food and tired rooms (knicks on the walls, peeling wallpaper etc.)

Sophie at the desk phenomenal. All staff excellent. Room perfect. Igor the GM even made a point to approach me and introduce himself. A big sports team was staying here and you can tell they had to put priority on them but with ZERO hesitation they made me feel like I was just as important or more than the team. I am a peninsula guy but I will be staying here when I need to be closer to downtown that’s for sure. And lastly “Duran” the lead doorman was something else. Went out of his way to make my life easier & flawless the entire stay. He understands how to make a guest feel important and our lives easier. Kudos to him. 5* A+++. GO HERE NOW.

This is probably the worst Four Seasons experience I’ve ever had. When I checked in, I found that the cups in my room were used absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. All the hotel offered was a complimentary coffee, which doesn’t address the hygiene concern or reassure me that the room was properly cleaned. To make things worse, when I was leaving, the doormen just stood and watched instead of helping with the car, even after saying they would assist. Completely disappointing and far below the level of service expected from the Four Seasons.

Guests can indulge in relaxation at the spa or take a refreshing dip in the indoor pool.
We went here for our wedding anniversary last month, and we were really impressed with this classy and upscale hotel. The bellman were very helpful and down-to-earth. The front desk was also very friendly and accommodating, and the same goes for the concierge who gave great restaurant recommendations! The rooms were really nice and clean. The breakfast room service really stole the show (a bit on the pricey side but worth it). The location was perfect! We look forward to coming back!

I came to Baccarat Bar in New York about three weeks ago to celebrate my birthday, and honestly, it was magical. ✨ The place is absolutely stunning — the light, the crystal, the atmosphere — it just feels special the moment you walk in. The cocktails were incredible (almost too pretty to drink!) and everyone on the staff was kind, attentive, and made me feel genuinely celebrated. It wasn’t just another night out — it felt like an experience. Elegant, cozy, and unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back. 💫 — Marina F.

Terrible Experience – Not Family or Kid Friendly at All We booked two Grand Classic connecting rooms at Baccarat Hotel New York a month in advance, clearly noting we were a family with children. When we arrived, they gave us completely separate rooms. No explanation, no apology, no attempt to fix it. My wife had to sleep in a separate room with our youngest daughter, while I stayed with our other two kids — because of their careless mistake. For a hotel that claims to be five-star, this was unacceptable, unprofessional, and completely inconsiderate. They clearly do not care about families or children. I would strongly advise families to avoid this hotel.

Staying at the Baccarat Hotel New York was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was surrounded by elegance and impeccable attention to detail. The crystal-inspired décor is absolutely stunning—everything sparkles with sophistication, true to the Baccarat name. The service was top-notch. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and special. My room was beautifully designed—modern yet warm, with high-end finishes and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom was like a private spa, and the little touches, like Baccarat crystal glasses in the room, added so much charm. The bar and lounge were perfect for winding down with a cocktail in a chic, intimate setting, and the food at the hotel’s Grand Salon was delicious. Also, the spa and pool area are serene and luxurious—definitely worth spending some time in. If you’re looking for a luxurious and refined stay in New York City, I highly recommend the Baccarat Hotel. It’s an oasis of beauty and calm right in the middle of Manhattan.

This subterranean retreat offers an authentic Russian spa experience that attracts not only finance enthusiasts but also celebrities like Cynthia Nixon and Lindsay Lohan. The standout treatment here is the platza, where guests are pampered with leafy oak branches while enjoying a sauna heated to a steamy 194 degrees—an exhilarating experience!
Great place. Hot saunas, relaxing hot tub, great pool, cold plunge is refreshingly cold. Food is very good as well. I'm already looking forward to coming back.

Very Disappointing Experience. Not Worth the Hype Attention fellow customers: don’t be fooled by this place’s web site. This place was a major letdown. We booked a couples massage for $350, expecting a luxurious and relaxing experience. Instead, we were hit with extra charges for basic amenities: an additional $50 for access to the hot tub, pool, and sauna, and even more fees for using a towel and robe. The red flags started right away they took our ID and credit card and locked them in a metal locked box “to ensure we didn’t leave without paying.” It felt more like checking into a detention center than a spa. Navigating the place was confusing. The signage led me to what looked like a dark, back-alley basement with brick walls and unmarked doors. Eventually, a staff member redirected me through another door that had no clear sign. The locker rooms were unsettling, lockers had chains and holes on the doors, and the bathroom and shower areas were dirty and run-down. Honestly, it felt more like a gas station restroom than a wellness spa. I truly don’t understand how this place has 5 stars. It was absolutely not the upscale experience we paid for. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I had a really disappointing experience at Spa88. The hot tub was completely out of service, which was one of the main reasons I booked in the first place. When I brought it up, the staff seemed passive-aggressive and not particularly helpful—they didn't seem to understand or offer any meaningful alternatives. The food options were very limited and what was available was overly salted and unappetizing. Definitely not the kind of nourishment you'd expect from a wellness-focused place. The private room was surprisingly loud, which made it difficult to relax, and many of the included amenities felt either unusable or poorly maintained. The space overall felt cramped and not nearly as serene or rejuvenating as advertised. Sadly, I won’t be returning or recommending Spa88 to others. For the price and expectations, the experience fell way short.

First of all the place has a lot of stairs and I have a bad knee.Secondly my friend said that she saw a rat as we walked to the women lockers. There was no one to show us around the place or even to show us where to get towels. The place was outdated all around and I wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone.
Catina S — Google review
Booked a birthday visit only to show up and be told the main sauna was out of order. No heads-up, no apology — just a $50 “discount” like that made it okay. Zero professionalism. If you’re thinking of going, call ahead — and even then, don’t expect much. Major disappointment.

Amazing Bath House. The eucalyptus steam room is hands down best one around and much hotter and bigger than most spas offer. Everything is very clean and their system is very efficient where you pay at the end and carry your key around and charge your beverages or snacks to your key. Dry Sauna is very hot at 230+ highly recommend using the wet sauna (aka Shvitz) feels much hotter than the dry. Old fashion place that is well kept

My favorite banya in the city. Hot rooms are damn hot. Cold plunge is freezing. Food is good, plenty of places to lounge and schmooze. Get the potato dumplings with caramelized onion!

Let's just say, you get what you pay for. BUT I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wall St (aka Russian Bath House). The front desk staff are very matter of fact. Believe this to be the nature of their Russian descent. No niceties, just the facts. Short, blunt and to the point. The facilities are just okay. Don't expect luxury. The property is VERY worn - lots of missing tiles in the walls and tubs. If you are a germophobe, don't go. While I did not feel it was dirty, it certainly was not sparkling. But in the very damp atmosphere no mold was present The collection of felt hats for sale is a great addition. If you know why these are worn in the bath house, you will be more appreciative of seeing them. There are several areas to enjoy. The eucalyptus steam room was awesome! The svitz sauna awesome! There was a hotter sauna (194 degrees!!!) that was WOW! I purchased an add on treatment of the oak leaves (platka? Something like that). It was an AMAZING experience and would do again!! The pool was great. Hot tub so-so...not a lot of jets. The cold sauna was phenomenal! Not sure the name of that, but essentially has cold frozen pipes inside that process a unique cooling experience. The infrared sauna was nice, but very narrow seats and uncomfortable. Lastly... The plunger pool 😳. I have no idea at what temp this kept, but they continued to dump huge buckets of ice in it during our visit! There is a restaurant on site which we did not try. There is a bear with refreshments...we tried several of the infused vodkas. Ginger was my favorite. So, go with an open mind! The quality of the property (old/worn) would have garnered only 3 stars. The added treatment and experience in general bumped it up to 4 stars. Would go again! *No photos are allowed outside of the lobby area

Best service in NYC! My experience at The Dominick was stellar, and the staff were super sweet. I brought my military veteran partner, and they treated him incredibly kind. I am so grateful, and look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you so much!

Stayed in a lovely one bedroom suite, quite spacious and with a view to die for in NYC, even if it is to New Jersey! Service was very friendly but did not eat in any of the restaurants. The hotel is walkable to so many restaurants in the area and subways are easily accessible.
Deirdre B — Google review
We had a fairly decent stay at The Dominick, though overall a bit lackluster for a 5-star at the price we paid per night. I will say right at the top of this that the staff was fantastic; everyone at the front desk, front door and support staff were lovely. Alex in engineering came to fix our very loud A/C within 30 minutes or so of us mentioning the issue to the front desk, and was incredibly kind and efficient with the repair. Stan at the front door was also super nice and informative about the hotel and nearby spots. Unfortunately that is where the positive ends for the stay, aside from the location and the view, both of which were fantastic. The rooms were a bit below expectation for a 5-star. The bathroom was updated nicely and spacious, but the shower was a bit cramped and the toilet was right next to the shower; the bathroom had no door so lacked a bit of privacy. The A/C in the room was rattling so loudly we had to have the front desk call engineering to fix it, and even then was still quite loud. The bed was oddly too soft, I feel like we usually run into very hard beds; We like a soft bed, but this was a bit excessive. Also, the room darkening shades were not nearly enough so; we were East facing and had a fully bright room by 7AM, which is definitely not ideal for a vacation. There were a few stains on the rug and the room itself wasn't old but not exactly new either. I also read (prior to our trip) that the "value" of the hotel was not great, and I would definitely say I have to agree with that. The food that we had was sub-par, and the restaurants that we did not personally go to had below average reviews. Everything was very expensive for the below average quality, even considering it's a 5-star hotel. The pool was a nice touch, but very small and not deep at all; more of a lounging pool. Also, it was still only late spring and the pool was quite busy and the chairs around it usually full. I can't imagine how busy that would be peak summer. There was also a mandatory Destination Fee per night and valet parking fee (which is fine, but not at that price). Overall I wouldn't say we wouldn't go back, but I would certainly look at other options first.

Having experienced three previous stays at The Dominick, I was excited to return for a fourth time for a weekend trip. However, soon after arriving, my excitement dwindled when I was checked into a room on the 19th floor with absolutely no view (looked directly into an office building across the street) and was directly next to the elevators. When booking the room, I specifically requested a room on a higher room with a view. For two nights, I tried to sleep while I heard loud noises and vibrations from the elevator cables. Additionally, the carpets looked old and run down and the decor in the room is quite outdated. Finally, I advise everyone to review their bill carefully! On the final night of my stay, I discovered a $52 minibar charge on my folio, despite never taking one item from the minibar. While the manager removed this charge after calling to complain, I was never given a clear answer as to how the charge got there in the first place. Next time I come to NYC, I can say for certain that I won’t be at The Dominick.

Meh. Very expensive and not upscale or a 5 star hotel by any means. Lobby looks nice but the rooms are straight outta the 80s. The restaurant downstairs and bar is nice but the bar on 7th is an embarrassment to any hotel that claims to be upscale, looks like a trucker bar meets youth club with very limited selections. Room service and prices will make your eyes water, as you are gouged for a diet coke. Really could be better, staff are nice but doesn't make up for a very sub standard offer.
S C — Google review
check in was great and they got us in early. The room was good space and well appointed, as was the bathroom. I do wish there were irons in the room. The $40 service fee is a bit much on an already high price for what it offers. the pool area is nice but small. I was very disappointed in the bar at the pool. There is limited wine and the wine offered was HORRIBLE. The main bar had good wine so there is no reason that one could not get a good glass on the rooftop. Overall it is nice, but for the price it does not beg me to go back.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Impeccable service, friendly staff and an unbeatable location. I was fortunate enough to be granted early check in (which i didn't even ask for) and the room was beautifully laid out with an impressive view of Manhattan (see below pic). The bathroom is also immaculate. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. I will definitely stay here again if I return to NY.

Turn down service was great they gave water bottles and fancy chocolates every night. Staff made you feel like you were a VIP. Highly recommend this hotel. 💕😊. The spa is lovely…the soak, the massage, the refreshing yuzu. The facial! I cannot say I spent enough time in my room to justify the price, however the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in it was delicious!

The hype is well worth it. Very welcoming staff, great rooms, and THE BEST shower of any 5 star hotel I’ve been too. Love that they don’t nickel and dime over the snack bar and the non-alcoholic drinks. I stayed in the junior suite and loved it.
N B — Google review
Beautiful hotel with the friendliest most welcoming front desk and door staff-they really do make the hotel a home away from home. The hotel lounge is very cosy for Autumn and we were happy to wrap up and sit in the courtyard. Rooms were well thought out - large comfortable beds, bedside lights which can be found in the dark, blackout blinds, sheers and curtains, aircon which does exactly what you ask it to, and a great shower which you don’t spend half an hour trying to figure out. The free snacks were welcome after hours of walking each day. Tea and coffee machinery can be requested (a cup of tea is always welcome when up early with jet lag). One thing to be aware of: the rooms overlooking the street are noisy. Fabulous for people watching but best bring ear plugs because the refuse trucks and food delivery for the restaurant are just below, also we found children were running around outside the room at 7 am every day. I had ear plugs but it might have been tough if I hadn’t. Location of the hotel is unmatched. TriBeCa is a beautiful neighbourhood within easy reach of everywhere. We ate breakfast at excellent local diners and cafe’s and really enjoyed walking beside the Hudson for a change of scene. Subway for the West Side of Manhattan is super close, and for East we walked to SoHo to take the metro. This is definitely the place to stay in Manhattan.

This is quite possibly the best city hotel I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Hard to decide where to start. The service is absolutely impeccable. Each and every interaction is personal, helpful, and genuine. It has to be difficult to be so helpful to everyone all the time, but this hotel pulls it off. You honestly feel like the only person staying there. The rooms are fantastic and large. The bedding is as comfortable as it gets. The water pressure is something to experience. I've never thought about writing a review about water pressure, but wow. The food is great. The spa and pool are an oasis. The concierge actually works! I asked for help with dinner on short notice with some specific requirements, on a lark almost. With minutes the concierge had me sorted. I didn't just get a table, I got a great table with spectacular service at a great restaurant I was not aware of. I am picky about hotels and am happy to pick any small nit. This hotel has none. No feedback. Just perfect.

This is my family’s go-to hotel when in NY. The staff are so cordial, the common areas are moody and awesome and the rooms, although quirky, are comfortable. After a day of being out and about, we loved heading straight to the lounge and sitting next to the fireplace where we enjoyed a nice cheese plate, some wine or an old fashioned. Kevin, one of the doormen always went above and beyond and provides top notch service. Will be in NY again next month and looking forward to checking in to our home away from home.

Fantastic 45 minute massage. Included hot stones and hot towels. Can't beat the price and how easy is it to get into for a service, aka on a whim! As long as you don't want a super private spa like atmosphere this is the place for you. My therapist worked some major much needed knots out. Will return, highly recommend. Tip well!

We went here with no reservation on a Sunday night and they were popping! They managed to fit us in for a 30 minute foot massage. Let me tell you…one of the best massages! No fluff or wasting minutes on non-foot stuff. They say 30 minutes, it was 30 minutes. They do this all day, so they have it down to a science. Highly recommend this place!

I got a 45 minute massage for $45 as a walk in. I don’t know what the cost of massages are around here but it seemed like a good value and they did a great job. Kevin was my masseuse and it was just the right amount of pressure. I told him I had neck pain and he gave that area extra attention. I would certainly go back next time I need a massage

This is my Mecca. Hands down the best massage spot in NYC. The owner is the sweetest woman you’ll ever meet, and every masseuse here is both talented and strong. I come once a week, and it’s the only thing that keeps my back and muscles feeling good. Their foot and back massages are incredible — they can really feel the points that need work and release all the tension. Every time I leave, I feel light as a feather. Can’t recommend it enough!

People love to write long complaints about the required $15 tip on a $50 full-body massage, but let’s be honest: $65 total for an hour of solid work is still a bargain. That’s 2-3 times cheaper than a higher-end spa for the same quality. The place is always clean, rooms are neat, and check-in is quick. The front desk lady isn’t there to do small talk. If you're expecting cucumber water and a tea ceremony, this isn’t your place. I've been coming here for over 10 years. I say “go hard,” and I’m in heaven. Recently, Kevin’s been fantastic - courteous, professional, and really skilled at what he does. If tipping $15 for an hour of great massage work feels like a dealbreaker, I honestly don’t know what to tell you. This place delivers, plain and simple.

I was looking for a place to go to with my husband for a last minute date. My husband has never done a facial before and his skin is super dry. I was able to call and book an appointment, same day a half hour before getting there. They asked No questions about our skin or what we use on our skin. Online they offer an array of choices, but in person she was shocked when I asked for the different facial options. She pretty much said they do deep pore facial for the most part which is $60 per person. It was an hour service and a lot of steps. It was NOT relaxing, as she was booking appointments while doing my facial. She was doing extractions on my face and answering the phone. My eyes were covered so I have no idea if she had gloves on and how she's touching the phone then my acne prone skin while extracting. My total was $120 plus tax and I gave a 20% tip and she turned to me and said that if she is suppose to spilt this tip? She then taps a sign which says $15 per person for the service, making it about 33% tip. I think she was trying to make me feel like I'm cheap for tipping what I thought appropriate. The service wasn't bad and my husband loved his first time facial. My skin is also super soft. Not sure if i would ever go back, I see they have other services that are affordable, but add tax and mandatory minimum tip. Also what if you get multiple services, are you to tip $15 to each person who helps you? 🤔
Evelyn M — Google review
The space is clean, however the bedding etc. Is very cheap. The massage I had was a bit rough even though I told the masseuse to take it easy. The worst part of this?! The mandatory $15 tip. If a massage is $50 I usually tip $10 which is 20%. But obligating people to $15 is ridiculous and I will be reporting them to Department of Consumer Affairs for this illegal practice.
Sara- — Google review
I was ecstatic to see that a one hour massage was $45. I thought this was a great deal since other places are more expensive. Well the room I was in with my sister was really small, so there wasn’t space for a lot. The masseuse left twice to first get hot stones, and then get towels. Every time she left, it was around 3 minutes so 6 minutes of the massage was deducted from her leaving. Since the rooms are so small, she had to push my massage table up or down a few times so that she had space to do her job. The part that was really alarming was when I paid at the end. I added a 20% tip and the receptionist was staring at the receipt the whole time. He asked if that was just for one person, and I said it was 20% of the bill (I paid for me and my sister) so it was for two people. He asked if I can increase the tip and then pointed to the sign that was next to me. It said that since their massage prices are cheap and since their masseuses work hard, they’d appreciate a $15 tip for a one hour massage. Since I was paying for two, he was expecting a $30 tip which is what I felt pressured to do in the moment. When I calculated this later, it was a 32% tip. They should really pay their employees more and not pressure their clients to pay more of a tip. My original 20% tip was standard so I thought this was ridiculous. I probably will not be going back.
Stephanie C — Google review
I'M NEVER COMING BACK! The service was subpar. The policy was one of my biggest gripe. The owner wants you to pay $15 gratuities per session per person. They never disclose this when making the appointment. Thats a 35% tip! What an absurd business! Crooks! They also want cash only otherwise when paying with card it's $5 per session per person. The atm is set to $200 maximum, my bill was $210. I had to pull money 2x to pay, which charged me $4! 👎🏼
Roxanne W — Google review
1 HOUR MASSAGE IS $65 ! I repeat it’s $65 !!! I loved coming here but it seems there’s new management. Great massage , clean and friendly massage staff . But I do feel that the advertised price list is misleading. What if the person didn’t like the massage ? If a 60 min massage is advertised as $50, you demand that people pay an extra $15 tip because the masseuse receives a low salary . The “suggested” tip used to be $10 for the one hour , so I kindly asked the Male cashier when did they go up an extra $5 dollars and received a nasty attitude. The $15 tip is mandatory so Be sure to read the sign at the front desk and WALK WITH CASH .
A T — Google review
I got foot massage which is $45, but I hate when they emphasize on tips. Tips should be 15-20% standard but looks like they want more than 30% and they are open about that, after the service. I tipped more than 20% btw and that wasn’t enough. They should really pay there employees. Will I go there again? No.

The Grand Salon at Baccarat Hotel is a luxurious and elegant lounge offering morning pastries, high tea, nighttime drinks, and small plates. The atmosphere is described as sexy, classy, and with wonderful service. The decor is beautiful from the lobby to the stunning room on the second floor. Guests can enjoy a delicious cocktail selection including passion fruit tequila and a variety of champagne, wine, and whiskey. The food is exquisite with recommendations for tuna tartare and filet.
The Baccarat Grand Salon is truly a hidden gem in New York. From the moment you step in, it feels like you’ve entered a completely different world — luxurious, secluded, and classy, with an atmosphere that’s both refined and intimate. It has that speakeasy-style exclusivity, yet still feels warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to escape the busy city outside. The food and drinks matched the setting perfectly. I loved the elegant tea service — the teapot presentation was beautiful and added to the overall charm of the experience. The bronzino was delicate and perfectly cooked, full of flavor without being overly heavy. The burger was equally excellent, juicy and satisfying, with just the right accompaniments. For sides, I tried the okra and eggplant, both of which were thoughtfully prepared and flavorful — a nice touch that elevated the meal beyond the usual. Service was top-notch. The staff were attentive and professional, making the evening flow seamlessly while keeping the atmosphere relaxed. Every detail, from the way dishes were presented to the pacing of the meal, showed the high level of care that defines the Baccarat experience. Overall, the Grand Salon is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. With its stunning setting, excellent food, and flawless service, it’s a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a memorable, high-class evening in the city.

Although, the service and atmosphere is top notch at Baccarat hotel, I do have to mention the food. Maybe my experience was exceptional, and usually it doesn’t happen at this restaurant but the food I was served was not fresh. I ordered afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the food on the tower tasted like it was on the back of a fridge for a while before being served. It ruined my high expectations of this place. I hope Grand Salon would improve and serve fresh food just like they serve warm scones to the guest.

It is a modern outlook on the afternoon tea, if it is reviewed only based on food, I missed some flavors per bites. In London you usually have a service detailed orienteda, with description or explanation of what was served missed. Overall a good experience, needing a few adjustments to get to The London Afternoon tea experience.

I truly cannot say enough good things about the Grand Salon at Baccarat. It’s the perfect venue for any special occasion, whether you’re celebrating a birthday or simply indulging in a luxurious dining experience. The combination of impeccable service, stunning ambiance, and exceptional food , music and drinks makes this a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend treating yourself or a loved one to this unforgettable gem! ❤️

I recently enjoyed the Afternoon Tea at Baccarat, and it was such a beautiful experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt elegant and dreamy the crystal details, soft lighting, and chic décor created a truly luxurious setting. The Afternoon Tea itself was delightful: perfectly brewed tea served in gorgeous china, delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream, and exquisite pastries that were as stunning to look at as they were to taste. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, making the whole experience feel calm and special. If you’re looking for a place in the city that feels both glamorous and relaxing, Baccarat is absolutely worth it especially for Afternoon Tea. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger and enjoy every detail.

Afternoon Tea was lovely! Setting is spectacular. Beautiful and formal but not pretentious. Service is attentive but we were made to feel at home and not rushed at all. All three in our party fell in love with our tea selections. Two of us had the Golden Glow and the other had the Queen’s Guard. I also ordered an espresso martini which was delicious and gorgeous. The food had hits and misses. Our favorites from the savory selections included the crab puff and the tenderloin. The lobster was overly salty. The chocolate ganache from the sweet selections was delicious and we were served some delicious macarons for our anniversary which was a very nice surprise. The scones were a standout. Overall, an absolutely fantastic experience and perfect for celebrating a special occasion.

This trendy haven features an inviting coffee bar serving unique wellness tonics like the refreshing Galaxy Ninja and Strawberry Szn. Beyond beverages, you can indulge in an array of massages and facials designed to rejuvenate your spirit—think treatments with whimsical names like Chill Pill and Mama Needs to Chill.
This is my go-to spot for nail art! The price is very reasonable for nail art (~$65 for Tier 1, and other nail art places in the city can run you around $200) and the designs are so cute. I always go to Skyla; she's so precise and her hand massages are absolutely amazing. The space is super cute and comfortable and you can enjoy some drinks while you're there.

I loved my experience at Chillhouse!! Rose helped me out today and my nails turned out phenomenally. Her work definitely speaks for itself and I will definitely be coming back.

I bought the heart shape nail polish set for my friend as a birthday gift back in late April while at an event at Chillhouse Varick Street in NY. I thought it was very good because a nail tech did my nails with silver and used the quick dry top. I bought 4 different shades and the topcoat. She told me the blue polish was used with the topcoat bit it didn't dry fast. She smudge her nail after using then had to redo it. That was on Sunday. When I was with her on Wednesday her nail polish was chipped. My nails chipped after a week of wear. I was disappointed that my friend was not satisfied with the polish. She asked was a UV light used on my nails. No UV light was used. I thought that was a good reason to purchase the nail colors as a gift. My friend usually gets her nails done with gel polish.

I had a fun experience here. I think the wait times were long but the staff was really friendly and everyone did a good job with nails massages and facials.

I’m absolutely in love with my nails and toes — they are to die for! 💅🩷 The work is so clean and professional every single time. The salon itself is spotless and has such a nice, relaxing atmosphere. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. Definitely my new favorite nail spot! Highly recommend!

Just had a massage at the newly opened chillhouse. Alicia was amazing and very thorough regarding an on-going neck problem I’ve been having. She took her time to listen and gave me stretches to work on at home. The sauna also is so cozy and it’s the perfect retreat. Excited to start my membership!

I got a lovely gel manicure at Chillhouse! The simple nail art gel manicure was $75 plus tip, and the addition of a scrub and oil massage at the end made it feel like a treat. While I waited, I got a cereal milk matcha that was incredible. A great spot to feel a little special!

I had a facial with Tomas and he was amazing. He answered any questions I had about products and treatments and it was very relaxing. I also think what you get for the price is really great compared to a lot of places in the city.

THE WELL New York is a comprehensive wellness center in NYC, co-founded by CEO Rebecca Parekh. Spanning 13,000 square feet, it integrates fitness, nutrition, beauty, and mental wellness under one roof. The facility features a full-service spa with steam and sauna areas, a medical practice, organic restaurant, yoga and meditation studios, as well as a library with diverse weekly programming. It offers an integrated approach to health by combining Western medicine with Eastern practices.
I absolutely love The Well ! The design is beautiful and the staff is lovely and knowledgeable ! I visited this past Wednesday and had the MOST DELICIOUS Curry for lunch followed by a healing foot rub in an exquisite relaxing room. The air is filled with the enchanting scent of the Well's RESET signature blend & the sauna and steam were pure heaven. I haven't felt so good since the pandemic arrived and intend to return next week. I also booked a birthday celebration lunch there for me and a friend later this month, which I look forward to with all my heart. Thank you for creating such a rejuvenating atmosphere that delights the senses and restores a sense of balance and harmony to our lives.

I was not a fan. The food was not great. I wouldn't say it was bad but just lacked any good taste. I've been to healthy food places and you can make it great. The smoothie was also not good. Just not tasty. It was probably healthy? But again, healthy doesn't mean no taste. The atmosphere is a bit too relaxed. There is a spa in this place so some people are there in robes. Not something I want during my dining experience. If I was in a spa myself it probably would've been better. Maybe it's someone's vibe. But definitely not my thing.

Nice place to relax and treat yourself for a spa day. It’s a little pricey but I think it would worth it if not all the extra charges they charge as a tip of20% plus tax on top of that. I came 30 min before to use their saunas one of them was not working and nobody let me know about that dry spa was still a little cold. So l missed all other treats I can enjoy for such a high price. No discount no extra treats. Facial cost me $300 for 60 min and I don’t think person who was taking care of me was that good. She did some massage and then start facial and it was so many times I just was laying down waiting for mask and some other stuff and I think she should start with facial and between give me massage instead of just laying there. 60 min is so little and you just laying there for 15 min waiting

I have a $150 voucher that I have not been able to use since December of last year (9 months ago). When I first booked an appointment in December/January, I was told the NYC center was temporarily closed and that I would be notified once it reopened. I never heard back for months. When I followed up, I was told it would reopen in the summer. I contacted the center twice again a few weeks ago to schedule, but I am still awaiting a response. I previously requested a refund, either to me or to the friend who purchased the voucher for me, but was told this was “against policy.” Your policy appears to be selling vouchers, collecting money, and then preventing customers from using the service for nearly a year, while refusing refunds. I will be filing a formal complaint with the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection and the Better Business Bureau. No business should be allowed to treat consumers this way.

The food and juices are high quality. The gift shop is upscale including jewelry, but they stock solid herbal products. (Including a nano hydroxy apatite toothpaste!) The staff is sweet, not fast necessarily. Go in with time to spare, and on off hours for a best case outcome. Impeccable concept and design.

Had an amazing day at The Well NYC! The spa is absolutely gorgeous. I tried the lymphatic massage for the first time - it’s very gentle, relaxing, and helps depuff/debloat/detox. After I enjoyed the hot sauna and a shower - love the clean ingredient products for use. I ended with a nourishing, delicious meal at the cafe and picked up some items from the shop on my way out! I’ll definitely be back to try more services and simply enjoy the amenities and eats! Thank you!

The food was decent but took a long time and did not come as ordered (we asked for Medium and got well-done) but the veggies and salad were better - there was a hair on my napkin which I just pulled off but I mention it because then there was a hair in the to-go container they brought us. They got us a new container but yeah the attention to detail was lacking. Overall it was okay, not sure I'd return.

Heaven on earth. I’ve only been to NYC twice since they opened and I made time for the well both times! You can book a first time drop in class online for only $20, and with the class you gain access to the entire downstairs area which has private, gender-inclusive locker rooms with robes, towels, and sandals to explore the steam room, sauna, and mediation rooms. The entire experience is so relaxing and restorative, it’s an absolute must especially in winter. They also have all beauty counter products in the showers, other vegan skin care products available to try as well as dyson air wraps! If you want to feel treated come here immediately!

ORA Space, located in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood, offers a stylish and spalike setting for acupuncture treatments. Visitors have described the space as calm, clean, beautiful, and welcoming. The 4th Street location downtown is particularly praised for its attention to detail and seamless process from start to finish. Patients appreciate the digital intake forms that allow them to fully embrace the treatment experience.
I had an incredible first experience at ORA with their Essential Acupuncture treatment! As someone completely new to acupuncture, I was a bit nervous at first, but from the moment I stepped into their beautifully designed space, I felt at ease. My visit with Dr. Brittany was exceptional—her calm and professional demeanor made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire session. The calming ambiance, thoughtful personal touches, and attentive staff made the whole experience truly memorable. The treatment itself was relaxing and refreshing, leaving me feeling both balanced and rejuvenated. I can’t recommend ORA and Dr. Brittany enough for anyone looking to explore acupuncture or seeking a luxurious wellness experience!

Cynthia was amazing. She took the time to take a thorough history. I came to optimize my hormones and decrease the stress I carry in my mid back, and I felt all her questions were so thoughtful and curated for the experience I was looking for. She recommended trigger point therapy and walk me through the whole experience. I felt really safe and comfortable throughout. As someone who cares deeply about women’s health, this is the place to go.

I was lucky enough to be gifted two ORA sessions! I was a little hesitant assuming that because it was not a traditional Chinese center that the quality of the care would be westernized, and I have to say I received such in-depth care! in my first session, a lot of time was spent making connections between a variety of my symptoms and lifestyle, Including my emotions! The treatment was painless. I very quickly went into a relaxation state. The space is so beautiful and the rooms are also so cozy, I left feeling so re-energized. I was lucky enough to work with Estelle who Was incredibly kind, gentle and very knowledgeable!

TRANSFORMATIVE! ORA is truly worth every penny. I’ve seen four different acupuncturists here and each one is exceptional. I’ve walked in with intense pain and limited mobility—hips, shoulders, everything—and walked out pain-free, with lasting results that hold for weeks. The care is deeply personally, effective, and remarkably consistent. The space is calm, clean, and beautifully designed. Red light therapy adds a thoughtful touch. Highly, highly recommend!
Vielka K — Google review
5 stars for Dr S. - she is the best acupuncturist I’ve met. I miss her! Zero stars for this place almost DOUBLING their prices… why? I used to love going but now it’s just prohibitively expensive at over $225 a session for acupuncture only. What used to be a somewhat regular health practice for me is no longer possible which is a shame. It seems like they just want to be a spa type place for rich people who want to try acupuncture for fun once or twice rather than a place focused on providing consistent and meaningful care.
Alex L — Google review
If you have any pain in your back or neck, please do yourself a favor and book a acupuncture session with Cynthia, oh my god she helped me with the most insane neck pain I have ever had I can't believe that I am feeling good again. Also, overall this place is amazing, red light therapies are great for overall wellness and the overall service is just wonderful. Huge fan

I stopped by the other day to check out the space & ended up trying one of the Teas that the girl with the lip piercing at the front desk recommended (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) the tea was the best herbal tea I’ve ever tasted & I must say the space is beautiful, the ladies at the front desk were so kind as well! will be back soon!

Moonflower spa is a popular choice for facials, with many customers praising the results and overall experience. The Deep Pore Cleansing Facial is particularly recommended for those with combination skin and occasional acne, as it leaves the complexion glowing for days and weeks. Customers appreciate the skilled aestheticians, such as Yuko and Ai, who provide gentle and effective treatments. The spa's central midtown location offers convenience, while the clean and tranquil interior adds to the relaxing atmosphere.
Such a positive experience! Each step of the facial was explained thoroughly. Extremely gentle care. Looking forward to booking my next appointment!

I had a lovely experience with Amy! She was really great at explaining each step and creating a peaceful environment. I came in not knowing exactly which facial I was going to choose, but she was able to recommend which option she thought was best after taking a look at my skin. Can’t wait for my next appointment :)

I've had a few facials here, and I really enjoy it. The location is convenient in central midtown, and the interior is clean and tranquil. All staff members are friendly and provide great service. The services, though a bit pricey, are worth it. My skin always looks great. They do a really good job with extractions and peels, which I sought out specifically. Over all, I've had a very positive experience here.

My anti-aging facial with Yuko was incredible!
Helene G — Google review
I've been getting facials from Yuko at this spa for years. It's always a relaxing experience and it makes my skin look great! I have combination skin and occasional acne but the Deep Pore Cleansing Facial is a lifesaver. Facials at some other places are just cleansers and creams and the effect is gone the next day. But this facial actually makes my complexion glow for days and weeks afterwards. Highly recommended.
Sabrina S — Google review
Best facials in NYC. Yuko is so thorough in her extractions and incredible in what she does. I come once a month and my skin has never looked better!
Michelle C — Google review
Called Moonflower on a whim and was able to be seen that evening. Yuko was incredible and so kind and gentle. I felt cared for, relaxed, and my skin feels amazing after the signature facial. It was my first facial in *years* and she wasn’t judgmental at all. Will be going back!
Elyse G — Google review
I’ve been coming to Moonflower Spa for years, even after I moved away from NYC. I’ve had facials all over the world and Yuko remains THE BEST at what she does. She truly has the magic touch - gentle yet EFFECTIVE treatments every time. It’s actually unbelievable and it’s the reason I keep coming back. Thanks to Yuko and her awesome team!
