The 30 best spots for mac and cheese in Queens

Queens Comforts has been on my bucket list for years and we finally made up our mind to try when they announced their closure. They shortened their business hours to start at 5:00pm. We arrived there at about 4:30pm and there was already a long line around the corner. The menu was limited with only their signature options but we still had a difficult time to decide. The staff was friendly, welcoming and served everything in time. We had the Sugar Hill Beef Patty Burger, Truffle Mushroom Mac and Cheese, Atomic Fire Balls and Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers. The portion was great with reasonable price and we did a to-go with the leftovers. The food was overall amazingly delicious and appetizing especially for the Burger and Chicken Fingers. The patty was juicy and the brioche bun was soft. The batter layer of the chicken finger was crunchy and flavorful with sweetness. We might not have a chance to visit again but we felt so lucky to try before it’s too late.

My husband and I had a wonderful brunch at Queen's Comfort. This was our first time here and it was a cool experience. The staff was friendly, funny, and attentive. There was so many things to choose from on the menu. We settled on the Chicken and Waffles and the South by Southwest Benedict. We also got the disco tots. The decor was kitchy with old family photos, collectibles from your childhood...you just gotta go and check it out for yourself!

Came for brunch with my friends on Saturday. The place is crowded but the guy host was very welcoming and friendly. We had a good vibe while entering the restaurant. Service was pretty quick. We had couple of appetizers and entrees. The cheddar pancakes were too cheesy. When it came, we thought a pizza came because it looked like cheese pizza. Tots were boom. It was really good and fireball was also good. The chicken waffle was also good. Chicken was little dry and over cooked but with syrup it was good. The place was decorated very fancy. The clouds on the ceiling and toys were hanging around. The place was fully covered by toys and framed pictures. There was a live DJ and music was really good. I didn’t see liquor or beer menu but I saw people drinking alcohol in the restaurant. I guess it BYOB. Im not sure So ask the host or server before bringing your alcohol beverages. Overall we had a good time and we enjoyed our time in this restaurant. We will surely come back for brunch some other time.

Amazing place and Amazing FOOD!! A unique place in Queens... has moved to a new location 2 blocks away that is bigger. Place has great energy and a great vibe. Cool stuff on the walls and ceiling. The service is prompt and very accommodating as well. Staff is nice and friendly too. Great place for a date or to meet friends. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!!

Enjoyed everything we ordered. Nice twists on comfort food, our favorite was the captain crunch chicken fingers and the pecan crusted blue burger. Looking forward to coming back to take advantage of BYOB, I hope that continues at new space. Specials change weekly so try not to fall in love with photos you see on line. The good thing is that there will be something else that should be exciting to try. Pretty solid Mac and cheese. I was hoping for more from my French fries though I won't fuss much because the main course held their own.

My friend and I decided to stop by on our way home from the airport and we are so glad we did. The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. We were greeted by a very lively host and made to feel so welcome it was like going home for brunch with the family. The entire staff was friendly and cheerful and made for a really delightful brunch experience.

If you’re in the mood for next level mac and cheese, look no further than S’MAC. I recently visited and tried their sampler, and it was nothing short of amazing! It is the perfect way to experience a variety of what S’MAC has to offer. Every mac was creamy, indulgent, and packed with flavor. From the classic 4 cheese mac and cheese that’ll remind you of the childhood favorite, to more adventurous options like the Alpine, which had Gruyere cheese and generous chunks of slab bacon. Every bite was pure comfort, but my personal favorites were the Parisienne (Brie, Mushrooms, Rosemary and Fig) and La Mancha (Manchego, Fennel, Onions) for not just their flavor but also for their unique flavors that I would’ve never thought to put together in such a dish. The mac itself was perfectly cooked—chewy yet soft pasta with just the right amount of cheese. I especially loved how they mix things up with toppings and seasonings that really set each dish apart. The portions were generous, too, which made the sampler a great value. The vibe is super casual and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional. If you’re a mac & cheese enthusiast or just craving something comforting, definitely check this place out. You won’t regret getting the sampler, but trust me when I say you can’t go wrong with any of them.

~ Delicious Baked Skillet Mac & Cheese~ Freshly baked to order. Perfect portion. Great blend of bread crumbs and cheese. I will have to return to try other dishes. Interior is casual, almost like takeout place with seating but comfortable and laidback.

We love the delicious fresh baked macaroni and cheese from S’MAC. The wide variety of mix ins and assortment of cheeses is a true delight for all macaroni and cheese lovers. The staff is efficient, attentive and friendly with diners. They make sure the water cooler is filled and orders are making their way out to hungry bellies. We love the vibrant orange decor and the rustic wooden tables. It adds to the home cooked meal experience. The easy order tablets are very convenient for customizing your order for dining on or taking out. I was initially sad when the midtown location closed but I will gladly make the trip out to the Lower East Side for some of the finest macaroni and cheese the city has to offer. 💕 🧀

This spot really surprised me. You walk in, place your order at a touchscreen (super handy, no lines or pressure), and then just wait for a pot of mac & cheese to arrive, perfectly cooked! What I liked most is the flexibility: you can stick with the classic cheesy version, try it with meat, or even go for gluten-free or vegan. Prices are fair too. If you love mac & cheese you have to try it!

This place caught my eye on a walk, and I had to stop and try. They offer Mac and cheese, a bunch of different styles. I was surprised to see they had a small option, called a “nosh.” I was on my way to a real dinner but through Id give it a try. I placed my order at a kiosk, the all American with broccoli. I waited maybe 7 minutes, and they brought it out to me, didn’t even have to ask if it was mine. Mac and cheese came out hot, maybe too hot, right in the skillet. Despite the high temperature it was still fantastic. They even had ketchup on the table, which is a personal favorite condiment for Mac and cheese which everyone should try! Will be recommending this place to my NY friends.

I love it here, I go every couple of weeks. The menu is huge but my favorite is the Mac and Cheese pancakes, I’ll usually get those plus try a side I haven’t had before or get a milkshake.

Had the triple play (3 pancakes of your choice for $17). Took the coconut, cinnamon, and mac & cheese. Best were the cinnamon, mac & cheese, and banana that my friend took. Cool place, friendly staff, recommend for those looking to try unique pancakes in NYC

The best reason to get up in the morning….or early afternoon on a Saturday/Sunday. I’ve never had a bad meal and the menu is so extensive that you’ll be hard pressed to repeat. A wonderful staff and great atmosphere. A New York must try!!

Food is pretty good, diner styled, a bit small to fit in, but still great food. Coffee is self service and the pancakes are my recommendation. I highly recommend it. It might take a while to get some seats because it's tightly packed. Worth it.

Amazing service. Got the Bubba, cornbread was fluffy and sweet and the shrimp was perfectly fried. The eggs were perfectly soft scrambled. The star of the service was the service though, the waitress was an absolute sweetheart and had great energy.

Located inside the Essex Market you will find Shopsins. The menu is extensive. If you love pancakes this will be your happy place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

We had an absolutely awesome time at Shopsin’s this morning for breakfast. We had the chocolate chip pancake balls, the banana bread pudding French toast, and the mac and cheese chorizo pancake - everything was delicious. Definitely try the mac and cheese pancake if you go, and try out their homemade hot sauce with it. Also the staff was unbelievably kind and generous. They went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Thanks everyone at Shopsin’s! It’s a new go-to for us when we’re in the city!

Breakfast sandwich here is a cut above typical airport breakfast sandwich with great crisp fresh toasted bread, nice hot gooey cheese, and I like the spicing on the chicken sausage. It does take 10 minutes, but on the occasion I am inbound or outbound early on American I try and make the time for it. Cappuccino or expresso are solid, but not remarkable.

Had one of the grilled sandwiches here during airport layover and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was - genuinely a very tasty sandwich, much better than eg a Starbucks equivalent. It came out pretty quick too - maybe 5 mins or so. The main issue with this place is that it is super expensive - sandwich was over $20 pre-tax and it was definitely not big enough to share. That said, if you don’t mind paying a lot (and I’m sure the alternatives nearby are also a rip off), the food here is worth eating

The Chicken and Mama Lil’ sandwich was surprisingly good. Tons of flavor. Standard $14 airport sandwich which has all the filling in the middle and nothing towards crust. Buttery, toasted thin bread 👍. The comma after Flagship threw me off, it’s just their Flagship Just Jack cheese - Pimento Cheese vibes. Mediocre 12 oz Latte w 2 espresso shots - extra one is $2.99 (hello $0.99 Starbucks shots)!! Long line, slow service. Might come back for the sandwich but never again for the coffee. A good 10 min wait for the sandwich.

Average. Quick Chai Latte ($6.75) and Hot Tea ($4.25) totaled $12.34. Airport pricing!

My wife and I stopped by for dessert and a drink. The staff was excellent. The atmosphere was lively. It is an astetically beautiful space and huge with a full basement area as well. The baklava was the best I ever tasted. My wife and I will definitely return for dinner and the full experience. Overall an awesome experience!

The food was incredibly delicious and everyone in our group loved it. I came with friends and it was totally worth it. The hummus and tuna tartare were both amazing. I ordered the salmon with grilled veggies and had zero regrets. The dessert platter took the experience to another level. Definitely a five-star visit.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here with a lovely lunch. The appetizer, a bean-based sauce served with freshly baked bread, was incredibly nutty and flavorful. The fish for the main course was cooked in a Mediterranean style and was tender with deep, rich flavors. The service was outstanding. Our waiter, a middle-aged gentleman, was especially sweet, attentive, and full of charm. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable with such wonderful food and service.

We stopped into Avra Madison for a light bite and only ordered two appetizers — the grilled octopus and the shrimp. Both dishes were very fresh and nicely presented. The octopus was tender with a good char, and the shrimp were flavorful without being over-seasoned. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful — bright, elegant, and perfect for a special night out. Service was attentive and professional, which added to the experience. That being said, the prices are definitely on the higher side for the portion size, so it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re just coming in for small plates. Still, for quality seafood and a chic Midtown setting, Avra Madison delivers.

My friend invited me to her favorite Greek restaurant for a get-together. Reserve in advance as it fills up quickly at dinnertime (we were there on a Monday night). Great interior. It was a bit too cold on the main floor due to air conditioning. I liked their signature zucchini Avra chips and Jumbo shrimps moussaka.

I had an amazing dinner here with my family. Everything was fresh. The service was great. The atmosphere matched . Good cocktails the lobster pasta was a bit over cooked make sure to ask for it Al dente 🤌🏼🍝 enjoy!

At first, the atmosphere was nice and well decorated. Food was really impressive. For appetizers, we ordered Yellowtail tartare, Kumamoto oysters, Caesar salad, Caramelized bacon and Eggs benedict. I couldn’t find any words to describe how great the food was. My brother said this was the best eggs benedict he’s ever had. For me I was impressed by Caesar salad, it was really good. For entrees, my family had Campanelle and Marinated black cod. I ordered Delmonico eye with grilled asparagus and hash browns on the side. This place is a steak house, so I don’t have to describe how good their steak was it was amazing I really enjoyed having my dinner here. Desserts we ordered Chocolate symphony and Delmonico’s original baked Alaska. The presentation was as amazing as its taste. For the service, the server was really nice and helpful with our food and drink decision. After we finished our food, we were expecting host to be more greeted or just say thank you, but we were a little bit surprised that no one said thank you, have a good night like other restaurants. But overall was great.

Yesterday I had dinner at Delmonico and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant has an elegant, timeless atmosphere and a fascinating history as one of New York’s oldest and most iconic steakhouses, dating back to the 1800s. We started with Kumamoto oysters topped with Osetra caviar, a luxurious and delicate beginning. The Caesar salad was crisp and flavorful, followed by the famous signature Delmonico ribeye, cooked to perfection and served with rich, savory mushrooms. For dessert, we enjoyed their classic cheesecake, which was smooth and delicious. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, the staff surprised us with an extra slice of cake, a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more special. The service was warm and attentive throughout. If I had to mention one small detail, the bread and butter served before the meal were a bit dry and hard, but everything that followed more than made up for it. Overall, it was a beautiful dining experience filled with history, flavor, and genuine hospitality.

My husband and I had a nice birthday dinner here. Ambiance takes center stage at this iconic NYC steakhouse. Ceasar salad was good, nothing fancy. Bread basket is great. We got the Delmonico's steak and the NY strip steak and preferred the latter a tiny bit more. Do not sleep on the mashed potatoes side, they're some of the best we've had. Chocoalte dessert was good, and they surprised us with a small vanilla gelato birthday gift. Food was great, ambiance is stunning, service is top notch. Would come back for a special occasion anytime.

Reporting that the sourdough bread here is some of the best I've ever had. The baker must be praised. Wish he had his own bakery so I can purchase more of the bread. We tried the classic Delmonico ribeye. It was pretty decent. Big fan of the pommes puree and bread. dining setting was really nice 10/10- quiet, refined, but also relaxed. Great for special occasions. The baked Alaska gets lit up on fire.

Perfect elegant location for lovely dinner conversation and sublime food. The entire staff from door to meal service is exceptional. The appetizers were delicious, steak served perfectly, and dessert ended a five star dinner. If looking for a unique dining experience, here is a premier NYC spot.

While the restaurant was stunning and the food was delicious, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth around the end of my dining experience. Our waiter Angela gave my group several condescending looks throughout our dining experience and around dessert time started treating me and my friends with hostility, ruining our entire experience. However, to add salt to injury, when I paid for my check, Angela came back with an adjusted check, adding a $70 gratuity surcharge fee for no apparent reason. After being treated like peasants there was no reason for Angela to expect a tip at all, let alone the abysmal fee she decided to add on herself.

Great restaurant tucked away in a corner off Wall Street. Very old world, prohibition era charm and class. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious. I was recommended this place due to a missed flight and it did not disappoint. My steak, asparagus and crab cakes were cooked to perfection. The steak wasn’t over seasoned and the sauce was on the side to enhance the flavor not smother or hide it. I will definitely return and have to bring back my steak snob husband.

We met for dinner at Cafeteria in Chelsea. Pretty relaxed place, friendly staff, nothing too fancy—which I actually liked. We came especially to try their mac & cheese. It’s not really my kind of food, but honestly, it was really good! Creamy and rich—I totally get why people love it. The menu is very American, with some seafood and other options too. I asked if they had a whole wheat option for bread, but they didn’t. Only gluten-free or served in a lettuce leaf. Not a big deal, but it would be great to have that for people following an ADA-friendly diet. The food was tasty, not trying to be upscale or anything. A good spot for a casual night out goth friends 7/10

Excellent service and great food. Never had a bad experience here. I particularly like their shaved prime rib dip and their mint milkshake with oreo. Their Burgers, fries and fish and chips are all worth trying too. Bonus points for opening later in the evening too!

I had such an amazing experience at Cafeteria! From start to finish, everything was top notch. Our server, Atrice, was absolutely wonderful super friendly, welcoming, and full of great recommendations. We tried the Mushroom Toast to start (highly recommend!) and the Chicken Parm for our entrée both were perfection. The wild berry mojitos were the perfect touch refreshing, sweet, and beautifully presented. The manager on duty, Louie, checked in a multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly, which really showed how attentive and hands-on the staff are here. The vibe, the service, and the food all deserve 10+ stars. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Such a great spot with an extensive menu. Drinks are impressive with plenty of non alcoholic and juices. Food was great! I had the classic burger and it was not only big but cooked perfectly. Bartenders were fabulous. Would definitely come back.

My first time visiting here and I see why my boyfriend was raving about this place!! Hands down a must try!!!!! Every single thing on this menu was amazing!!!! Christian was our server and he was amazing! I believe the bartender name was Chris or Brandon, either way he was the short, African American man with the beautiful smile & beautiful spirit. He catered to us because we only drink addictive-free, clean margaritas! He made some of the best margaritas we have had (and we are margarita connoisseurs 😉). We want those same two guys every time we visit!!! The crispy rock shrimp are seriously a must!!! The crispy enoki mushrooms were amazing!! The truffle oil Mac and cheese is always being ordered!!! We got the grilled salmon BLT (no bacon) and it was one of the best salmon sandwiches we have ever had!!!! The ginger salmon was cooked to perfection!

We recently dined at a charming spot and were impressed by both the presentation and variety of dishes. Each bite balanced freshness and flavor perfectly. For the entrées, the seafood pasta stood out with its rich, creamy sauce, plump shrimp, and perfectly steamed mussels — indulgent yet well-balanced. The seared salmon, served with broccolini, had a beautifully crisp skin and a flavorful glaze that paired wonderfully with the greens. The pepper-crusted tuna was another highlight, enhanced by avocado, crispy wontons, and pickled onions for a refreshing, layered taste. On the comfort-food side, the burger and fries were a satisfying classic. The fries, seasoned with herbs, were especially addictive, and the burger came with all the right accompaniments, including fresh lettuce, tomato, and a crunchy pickle. To complement the meal, we tried several cocktails, each beautifully garnished and well-crafted — the tall, refreshing fruit-forward drink was a particular favorite. Overall, the experience combined excellent food, stunning presentation, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended for a memorable night out!

Great experience here today! Our waiter Dylan knew the menu super well and was able to answer all our questions to help us pick what we were looking for. I also didn't love the first drink I ordered and he swapped it out for me without a problem. Everything was awesome and I can't wait to come back!

I came here for brunch because it was highly recommended. Service is good and the drinks were phenomenal. It's first come first served and even though my large party was late they were able to see us all together by the grace of gods. The food itself was just okay. The steak from the steak and eggs was basic. The chicken was really tasty from the chicken and waffles. The other dishes lacked some flavor which was a bit disappointing although they were good. I may return but mainly to try other dishes as this place was rated pretty highly by others.

This took me back to early New York. It’s set is the beautiful Cuban diner, with a classic diner touch and a Cuban flare. The food was perfection. I had the Salmon with purple mashed potatoes. My date had the Lomo Saltado. I had a wonderful Dulce De Leche milkshake and my date had the Sangria. I also had an oxtail empanada that was made like I landed in Cuba. The atmosphere alone would make you stay, but the food will make you linger. The Mojito is one of the best that I’ve had in the city. My new favorite spot.

Was recommended by the Hotel Staff at Park Terrace. Glad I got right in a cab and headed over. Truly an incredible time, the food was great, the drinks were strong.. can't really ask for much more! I believe my waiter was Mateo, great guy man. He went above and beyond with his hospitality and made sure my first time there was a great experience. Will head back every single time I spend a night in the city! Highly recommend.

I recently visited the restaurant, and the experience was lovely overall. My meal consisted of the pollo a la plancha, and I have to say it was perfectly cooked. The flavors were so well balanced, and the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy. The service was also great, and I will definitely be back soon to try other dishes.

Had such a delicious meal. We got Rabo encendido (oxtail & fufu) & mofongo con costilla (mashed plantain w short rib). It was my first time having mofongo and I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s potato-e and a little sweet from the plantain. It’s not like mashed potatoes mashed, it’s got Structure. The short rib it came with was so tender fall right off the bone. My favorite was the oxtail. The fufu was actually sweet and pretty soft more like mashed potatoes. The oxtail was tender and soaked up all the delicious sauce. Came out to around $40pp for one entree each. Overall 8.5/10

My friend brought us to this Dumont burger restaurant located at 314 Bedford Ave. My friend said that this restaurant has the best burgers in New York. Their restaurant is very casual and warm. The staff is very enthusiastic to greet us and recommend food and drinks for us! When the burger was delivered to me, I couldn't wait to take a bite. Wow, that is indescribable! So delicious! The price is also very affordable! I would strongly recommend everyone to come here to consume!

I saw this Dumont burger on YouTube and it said it was the best burger! So I went there with my friend. Wow, it was really good. It was crispy and juicy when I took a bite! The food was very fresh. They also have bartenders. It's a great place to relax!

Hands down a must try spot! My partner and I have been coming here and each and every time it definitely hits the spot! The wings are a 10/10 Nothing has compared to Dumont’s ranch either in my opinion. Amazing recommendations from staff, always on point. Homey vibes overall for a nice dinner out! One of the best burgers in Brooklyn. Thick, juicy burgers cooked exactly how you want it. The sides are delicious and plentiful. I typically get the regular DuMont Burger, the smaller size, with onion rings and maybe soup if they have tomato that day. The DuMac and cheese burger is a good way to get a bit of the good stuff without buying a full order of the Mac. Smash burgers are on trend right now, and I don’t understand that. I love a thick burger, and I order medium rare because I am confident in the quality of their food.

Is and always will be the best burger. Excellent old school gem in a neighborhood now mostly full of unsubstantial fluff. Great happy hour, solid drinks, INCREDIBLE BURGER, excellent prices.

Small bar in Brooklyn with a good quality of burgers. A good choice for a lunch and enjoy the area. Nothing special but it's worth it I liked their Dumont burger, plain, where you can taste all the flavor of the burger.

One of our favorite pizza spots! Love all the TMNT stuff on the walls. Very nostalgic. Also the pizza is solid and they always have lots of options! And the staff is friendly too!

Such a lovely, cozy pizza place. The service was fast, friendly and the guy taking our order was very patient & soft spoken. Pizza itself was delicious! Lots of good vegan and vegetarian options and they were well made. 10/10 !

Absolutely loved our visit to Vinnie’s Pizzeria! We tried the elote slice and the mozzarella sticks, and both were incredible. The elote slice was packed with flavor—loaded with sweet corn, creamy cheese, and just the right kick of spice. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly crispy on the outside, melty on the inside, and paired with their marinara sauce (which was seriously amazing) made them even better. The vibe inside is super retro and cool—definitely a fun place to hang out. Just a heads up, there are only three tables, so seating is limited, but honestly, the food is so good it’s worth grabbing it to-go if you have to. Can’t wait to come back!

Vinnie’s is a gem. Special of the day lasagna pizza - probably one of the best combos of flavors I’ve ever had. Hopefully they add it to the permanent menu.

The elote pizza is an interesting take which I got along with a slice of pepperoni but overall I found the slices to be just average. It really came down to the crust which while crispy just lacked flavor. Ok for a quick bite in the area but for pizza in NYC, you can do better.

Plenty of variety for every palate! It's best to come when it's not too busy, if you pop in on a Fri or Sat night expect a longer wait and alot of people hanging out front, the only negative imo. If youre in the area give them a try!

Absolutely excellent pizza slice. It’s like a Joe’s pizza but slightly less crunchy crust - therefore perfect. Easily in the top 3 slices in NYC. The topping is sweet and has good tomato flavour. The topping is not the most flavourful but the softness of the overall bite is brilliant.

Came here with five others for an early Saturday night dinner and they were able to accommodate us easily. The food was gooooood. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful without being overly salty. All of the meat dishes were tender. Everyone loved their dishes and agreed the food was worth coming back for!

This establishment offers excellent food. We decided to try several items from the menu, and while some dishes stood out more than others, overall, the food was enjoyable. The service we received was decent, although there was an issue with the timing of our order. Surprisingly, our food arrived later than that of customers who arrived after us, even though we had placed our order before them. It's unclear how the kitchen operates, as this was an unexpected occurrence. Among all the dishes we tried, the curry goat and oxtail stood out as our favorites. Their flavors and preparation were particularly satisfying.

My friends and I meant to eat at the se7en next door but the kitchen was closed for the night so we were heading to the diner around the corner. Pete popped his head out the window and offered us some food. Pete made is three huge platters of jerk chicken rice and peas and cabbages. Chris the bartender made us a really strong drink, not sure of the name. Food was amazing, the owner Jahmal was very inviting and willing to accommodate us. Great restaurant!

AMAZING! from start to finish, chef (and owner) should be on one of the Food Network shows. Not only is he personable and kind but his food is ridiculously delicious, jerk chicken wings, oxtail and macaroni and cheese (oh my), save room for dessert, which their mom makes, insane cheesecake with a pineapple crust and warm guava syrup over the top. WOW! What a meal! What a gifted chef and beautiful family run establishment this is. True soulful home cooking at its finest.

The food is outstanding!!! You’ve got to get there early if you’re getting the goat curry… it sells out quickly (and for good reason)! Everything is incredible on the menu

Our friend brought us to The Islands and she said it’s her favorite Caribbean Cuisine in the neighborhood. The decor is humble, simple and wide-spaced with plenty of seating. There are limited but signature options on the menu. We got Ox Tail with Rice & Bean, Curry Chicken with Steamed Veggies and Salad with Jerk Chicken. The portion was huge with a reasonable price and we left a lot to go. Food was amazingly delicious, especially the jerk chicken, which was extremely tender and juicy. We also were impressed by their rice & bean, surprisingly appetizing and smelled so great.

Ask for an order of escovitch branzino and sorrel for your drink! Chefs kiss and the portion is so good. It’s honestly a meal for 2 people. The escovitch is packed with flavor and you can taste the coconut in the rice and peas that comes with this meal. When I am in Brooklyn, I always stop here. The staff are so attentive, warm and welcoming from the start of business to closing.

Great spot in Astotia for vegan food! The vegoist menu is all vegan but they also have a standard omnivore menu too. I only tried items off the vegoist menu. I got three tacos; the buffalo caulifower, BBQ seitan, and fried brussel sprout taco. My favorite was the BBQ seitan. It was so flavorful and was nice to have a seitan option. Tried the mushroom calamari for an appetizer and really like the creamy spicy dip that was served with it. For dessert got the tres leche baklava which was alright but I was expecting like a tres leche cake with baklava on top. It was more a slice of baklava with the 3 milks on top. Still nice for a sweet ending but not my favorite dessert. The atmosphere is really nice in the restaurant. There are lots of plants, great mood lighting and a disco ball. The service was a bit slow which is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

We got the wrap and it was delicious. The wrap was thick enough so it didn’t fall apart. Has a smoky flavor not my favorite but all my friends really appreciate the smoky flavor the wrap had. The French fries were very good also. Service was great and they were very helpful answering questions about food items on the menu.

If you’re looking for food, that’s flavorful in a corky environment where the staff and team on site give nothing but 100% of hospitality please don’t hesitate to go here for dinner! Everything was so beautifully balanced flavors and fresh! This photo of the chocolate cake doesn’t do it justice. I wanna highlight that the weight staff last night was exceptionally kind and I would recommend this place over and over again.!!

I will be here every week. The place looks like the original vegan spots years ago, hippie style, when they were the only ones preparing vegan food. So don't judge the outside because please believe me from the wonderful service to the amazingly creative delicious food. They r unique, the red lentils lettuce was breathtaking and the quinoa was so indescribably good, different but what we been missing. The fries to die for, the mushroom calamari was so good, the Brussel sprouts perfect, I really fuljoyed the entire experience. 😋 ❤️❤️❤️

This is my and my daughter's favorite restaurant. It's a nice vibe and a chill atmosphere. They have board games you can play with. Anytime we came here to eat Andrea has been our server and she's so nice and sweet and has a beautiful energy. The food is delicious, they have vegan and non-vegan options. This time we had chips and Guacamole, chicken less taco, vegan cheese Quesadilla and a beyond burger with fries. My favorite dessert is the vegan carrot cake.

As a new local resident, finding this spot made me happy. Pleasant atmosphere, helpful servers, and delicious dishes. Nice team members and satisfying cooking come in big portions that won't break the bank. The personnel here understand hospitality. This place offers remarkable quality.

Beware…be prepared if you order medium rare for your burger, take a look at my pictures. When I bit into the center of my burger, it was cold and raw. Ticket even says medium. We took it to the grill manager, I guess, and they said this is the way it was supposed to be. I’m not eating raw hamburger which the reason I even questioned it was the taste. I like rare steak but rare hamburger taste nasty. What a disappointment! Not really more I can say, but beware! I had to argue with the manager to even get them to give me a new burger, but she declares that is the way medium rare is supposed to be, oh yeah ticket does say medium.

Easy in place, went in for dinner and wasn’t disappointed able to find a table easily. Ordered sandwiches, a burger, and a dog. The sandwich had a weird sauce which made it inedible. Fries were good.

Fried chicken is all gluten free which is amazing, I had the fried chicken meal with sweet potato fries and blue cheese sauce. So hard to find things like this when being gluten free, the fried chicken was incredible and so crunchy! My partner (not gf) had a hot dog which he said was one of the best hot dogs he has eaten. I like that it is a mix of fast food/dine in with ordering taking place at the counter but food is delivered to your table by staff using electronic buzzers.

A solid fast casual option if you’re looking for a step above a fast food joint but don’t have the time or money to spend on an elaborate sit-down meal. We stopped here before a matinée show, and it was a great pre-show choice. We were in and out of there within 45 minutes. My impossible burger and fries were fresh and satisfying. I loved the texture of the fries. My mom’s sloppy joe mac and cheese was the perfect comfort food.

I've been coming here since it opened and the quality of service has gone down a lot. We walked in and instead of the usual greeting, we got nothing. Only 2 female employees chatting with each other not acknowledging 2 customers walked in. So, we ordered from the kiosk. While we are trying to figure how to use it, more customers walk in and the get their orders taken by the girls who ignored us. Also, what is up with the smaller plates? Our burgers barely fit on here. Food still good. Service sucks!

i have been going to schnipper’s every time i have came to nyc since 2023! the first time i ate here, i was blown away by how delicious the burger was! the schnipper’s special is my personal recommendation. i have not been let down since, its amazing every time. the atmosphere is very nice and clean. great job, schnipper’s!

Lesson learned: don’t order a salad at a burger place. Mine was drenched in dressing—like someone accidentally emptied half a bottle on it. If you do get a salad, definitely ask for dressing on the side. I even tried to ask for extra lettuce to balance it out, but the staff didn’t understand and couldn’t help. To their credit, the ingredients were fresh, but the whole thing was inedible. I didn’t want to make a fuss asking for a refund, so I just picked out the chickpeas and tomatoes and called it a day.

I saw this place years ago when they were in Harlem. Had I known back then the food was going to taste as good as it does now, I would have tried vegan food much sooner. Mindset and Hindsight and all... This past February, I had the chance again and ordered takeout and sampled a few item's my family and I ie. Collards, mac, Fried Bayou Bites "crawfish" nuggets (sauce on the side) & SV nuggets. EVERYTHING was good. The "crawfish" texture was spot on. I was amazed. I eat burdock root so it baffled me how this was done. The family loved it. They continue to order from here to this day since it's closer to them. I would love to see a Harlem location again.

Ordered Deliver on Tuesday night 11/19/24 The order arrived late, delivery bag unsealed, and several items with no lids on them. Lids were MISSING. The nuggets were hard as rocks. Missing the Mac n chz side along with another side of fries. The whole order looked liked it got thrown together by a toddler. Everything cold. Didn't eat anything of this playpen disappointment. Photos are to show how much they charge for a kids size salad. $8 for a tiny scoop of salad. The size of a side of fries...I think I count 15 fries total. I have a can of soda there so you can see the sizes and compare. The last photo is of the lemon "nuggets" that are just tiny fried bits nothing. This whole thing is a disaster. You need work.

Stopped in for a quick snack on a Saturday. Got the SV Nugglets and the Fries. Both were delicious, can’t wait to come back and try other stuff on the menu!

The good was amazing! Seeing that beautiful Black American woman behind the counter, made me feel extra comfortable with the food choices. I would recommend that they lean into the fact that they are not in fact….Real Quick. The wait time was long BUT the food was worth it! Please tell people that! “Kinda Slow, but worth it!”

The guy in store who took our order was was very nice descriptive on what was in the order we was placing, seeing how it was me and my friend first time coming to his restaurant. The food we ordered was the seasoned fries and chicken nuggets sandwich was very delicatable and very good must go to again.

Really good food here! We tried as much as we could and it was all solidly tasty! Everything from the chicken nuggets to shrimp and crab have unique flavorings and the sides (looking at you Mac an' Cheese) are delicious. Po' Boy Sandwich was great though I prefered the crab over the shrimp. Deserts are good. Especially the unique 🍪!

Craw fish sandwich is insanely good. The flavor is out of this world - one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had for real. The guy cheffing it up really cares about each meal he serves and shows alot of love. A real family business. Much love for this place I’ll be back often. Come try out this gem

The vibe inside was artsy, welcoming, and fun. We were greeted upon entering. Immediate pluses!! Food was delicious. I ordered the Golden Era Chick-un & Waffles and my partner ordered something I forgot the name of, but it was a faux salmon sandwich I believe. I also ordered a drink which may have been the espresso yourself. Either way, we enjoyed our food and drinks. Would definitely visit again! *Another thing I appreciated was the attention to allergies. We were asked about allergies when we were placing our orders.

This place features a unique style atmosphere. Sort of gothic/punk vibe. The service is not very good. One waiter was very polite and professional, while the other waiter was not nice/. She wouldn’t let us sit in the party of 4 table because we were a party of 2 and wanted the extra space, even though we were the first customers in and the restaurant was empty. Other than that, the food was below average. I ordered french toast and my uncle ordered the burrito, which he did not enjoy. The music was a little on the loud side. Some things on the positive side were that the 2nd waiter was very polite and professional.

Was in NY to catch a play at the Shed so walked over here afterwards for lunch. The interior decorations definitely make you feel like you are in an urban city. The music is also adds to the ambiance. They have a good sized menu with many sub menus that show gluten free items, soy free items and garlic and onion free items. I ordered the gf coconut shrimp, the mushroom asada and the respect your elders mocktail. The food was tasty. The konjac shrimp are hard to find so generally when I see them on a menu I order them. I did hesitate a bit as I’m not a fan of coconut. Luckily for me I didn’t taste any coconut on the shrimp. The mushroom asada, while delicious, it didn’t give me the flavors of steak. I think a portobello would have done a better job. I ate it all though. Just mentioning in terms of what your taste buds should expect. The respect your elders mocktail was yummy.

We popped in for a quick brunch while nearby and were very impressed with what's on offer! The venue has a lot of personality and it was great to see the owner wasn't above helping out – providing service alongside one of his staff members and making polite conversation. We went with: -The Get Right Within Burrito (with added tempeh bacon) -Luca Brasi Oshi Salmon Pasta We were extremely impressed with the quality of the food for the price. If you haven't had Oshi Salmon before, it's by far the best salmon alternative we've found in terms of realistic flavour and texture. Genuinely mind-blowing. We'll certainly be making a point of returning if we come back to NYC, and we definitely recommend making this place a must-visit on your list!

Wow this place is TASTY! Highly recommend the chunk steak, but the zucchini mashed potato dish was awesome too, wow, very impressed. Absolutely LOVE the 1990s atmosphere and listened to songs I haven’t heard since I was teenager. Definitely coming back.

Incredibly well made vegan steak in the burger. Never had anything like it! The blueberry lemon cake was so good aswell. Would eat here again

I love cheese and came here for a cheese-making class. The group was small and intimate, which made for great conversation and a relaxed vibe. I learned a lot and got to make burrata with a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. We had plenty of cheese samples and unlimited wine refills throughout the class. You also get discounts in the shop afterward, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend for any cheese lover looking for a fun and hands-on experience.

8/9/25: Wow, what a great time at the Mozzarella Cheese Making Class! Caroline was an excellent expert instructor. We had ten family members in attendance. Some housekeeping, suggestions: 1. The class description says two balls of Mozz. In reality it was only one per person. 2. The wine pours were great but maybe a bit too fast on the refills (a personal issue, I know). The cool temperature of the room was great too. Beautiful store.

Today was yearly free sampling and I just happened to be nearby and stepped in looking for a bite for lunch. But instead tried the samples of the most delicious macaroni and cheese. Tomato soup and grilled cheese

Such a cute spot! We tried their classic grilled cheese and a side of tomato soup. The grilled cheese is delicious, the cheese pull is insane. The tomato soup is good but a bit thinner than I expected. Overall, it’s really good and very filling. A bit pricey for just a sandwich but delicious nonetheless!

Had a free evening and decided to try out a cheese & wine tasting class. It was the best decision I’ve ever made! Our instructor Anne-Marie (or was it MaryAnne?) was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us so many insights into gastronomy and answered questions (even the silly ones too) in ways everyone felt comfortable. I just wish that there would be more cheese and wine pairings to try and discuss over, and I don’t even mind paying more for it, but obviously I get how I’m biased because I’m a huge nerd and eater.

Ordered Buffalo Chicken Mac, a Pastrami sandwich, and 2 cups of tap water for myself and my son and sat at the window bar. The food came, but the Mac had no chicken in it, so we found a very nice man who was stocking the coffee bar and he took it back to the kitchen to find the chicken. Meanwhile, my son went back to the cashier to get the water we ordered. The cashier (a different person) told him told him they dont have tap water. I then brought the receipt up to him to show him we were paying customers at their cafe and would like the tap water we ordered with the previous cashier. He insisted that they couldn’t give us tap water. I said “so your fully functioning kitchen has no tap water and apparently no chicken.” He then told me the chicken was in the Mac, I just couldnt see it, it was shredded and invisible. At that point, the nice coffee bar guy came out with the Mac — with chicken we could now actually SEE — and I kindly asked him for a cup of tap water which he delivered within 10 seconds. WAS IT REALLY THAT HARD?! In the middle of summer, you wont give a cup of tap water to a paying customer (WITH A CHILD) at your establishment. How insane is that? This guy should be in the back working with products and not customer-facing because he has zero hospitality.

Really enjoy the cheese classes at Murray’s! Great wine and cheese pairings you wouldn’t have thought of on your own, and you walk away learning something new about what makes cheese so delicious. Great for a date night or girls night out.

The Restaurant Week brunch is $29 per person and SO WORTH IT. You get biscuits for the table, an appetizer, mac n cheese and watermelon for the table, a main dish and a dessert. So. much. food. The deviled eggs for the appetizer might be the actual best thing I had. Who knew? Highly recommend. The dill and potato skin crisp thing on top really round them out. And the biscuits... oh my goodness, they transport me right back to the south but add a twist that I've never in my 22 years of living in Alabama had. If you don't go for restaurant week, you still MUST get these. Our main dishes were the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy because, duh, more biscuits and more carbs. The chicken was cooked perfectly - not too overly crispy, not at all greasy, and a thick piece of chicken, exactly how I like it. The banana pudding wasn't my favorite (Alabama still wins there) but it was still solidly good. The key lime pie dessert was really tart but actually really good. The presentation for every single dish was beautiful. I love a place that truly cares about putting out great dishes that look just as good before eating them. Only reason this isn't a five star rating is because the hostesses were quite rude when my boyfriend and I said we didn't want to sit at the table by the dumpster outside (that had tons of flies all over it).

With great southern style food and a charming environment it's hard not to like root and bone. When you walk in, it feels like you've left nyc. The place gives off a rustic feel and has the food to match...with a twist. We got the shrimp and grits and the short rib meatloaf. Both great. They both had a little extra beyond what you'd typically expect. The shrimp and grits had more levels to it. The meatloaf was actually pull apart short rib meat. Drinks were solid too.

Finally got round to trying this out for brunch, and it didn't disappoint. Such a nice interior, good ambience too. The biscuits we had with Jam and was so well done. My chicken sandwich was huge! But very well cooked, wasn't dry at all, and you can add your own amount of pickles/jalepenos etc. Give it a try!

Love love love this place. Came here for brunch. It’s a cute restaurant with AMAZING FRIED CHICKEN. We ordered a whole chicken (off the menu) to be shared for the whole table. Their biscuit is to die for. It was soft, moist, and a bit crisp on the crust. Just the perfect balance. Would definitely come back to get a southern food fix!

Amazing amazing brunch. The biscuits are incredible and you can’t go wrong with your order. They don’t have espresso though so get some first if you’re hungover. Their drip is good but won’t resurrect you. All I ever want is good bacon, bread, and maybe a salad to pretend I’m not getting heart disease and boy did they deliver.

The food was great! Mushrooms were the best and most that I've ever had as a side. The Mac and cheese was the biggest let down. I was expecting soul food and a homemade (from scratch style) mac and cheese. Chicken was tasty. Service was lovely. I would definitely go back.

Their food is delicious and they have one of the best biscuits in New York. However, their service was not so good. We have visited 3 times already and we all had unsatisfying service experience, so we won’t come back even the food is great. The first time, they had the wrong dishes for our order. We told them we are fine with it but they did extra charge for that dish without informing us. The 2nd time there, we would like to use the voucher we bought online with a group of 3, but they refused to redeem even we had extra order of entree, not only side dishes or appetizers, so we ended up making single orders without using our voucher. The last time we went, they refused to do redemption again and mentioned the voucher is for dinner only since their chef weren’t there until dinner time but we just saw a table from other customers with all the dishes on the voucher. We understood they were just following their policy but if they could be more flexible or with better explanations to us, everything will be perfect.

Stumbled upon this place unintentionally and what a joy! Super kind and helpful service, good beer and cocktails and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The fries are perfect (we are from Belgium so we know the real deal 😜). So if you are nearby a must go, if not definitely worth the detour.

This is a fun neighborhood spot. We got the cheese curds, but all their bar bites/appetizers looked delicious! The cocktails might be a bit overpriced considering the quality of their ingredients, but the happy hour deals seem good (they only offer happy hour Monday-Friday). My primary issue was the service, but since there were only 2 servers when we went, so this may not be a typical issue.

Feb 2025: ridiculously delicious smash burger. Added the bacon and fries, both with the money. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. I'd definitely come back when I'm craving a burger. 2020: Love the wings. Best in the city. Great beer selection too.

Just some really fire drinks… I can’t even recall what we had but we had like four drinks and they were incredible! One of them was definitely one of the best old fashions I’ve ever had! We didn’t get any food, but all the drinks were amazing

We had a great time! The food was delicious, and the cocktails were expertly made. The only downside was that it got a bit loud, which made chatting a little tricky. It might not be the best spot for a cozy night, but it's perfect for a fun evening out with friends!

Super loud music but that was on Saturday night. Food was great, try the salmon & crispy rice. It was amazing. Drinks were really good, my girl got the cucumber drink and I had to try it. My old fashioned was perfect. We got a corner seat and was able to people watch with our drinks. I would totally go back to Cooper's to try more stuff.

Came here for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. The staffs are friendly and attentive. On a Friday, Saturday night they are super packed lots of singles women everywhere. The food was good, well seasoned and taste great. Atmosphere feels cozy and a bit stuffy if too much people. Overall great place will be coming back soon.

Came here with a buddy of mine. He said the food is great but pricey. I agree! And with the amount we paid, it was a very little serving. At least give some potato chips out with the sandwiches. Or how about a side of tomato soup to go with it? Great spot & quick. Just too pricey for what they're giving.

It’s a really wonderful spot for lunch. Here’s a picture of the crispy goat with French fries - that’s goat cheese, bacon and avocado. As you may be able to see they serve it with a lot of French fries which is nice. Comes out super crispy and hot. It’s terrific and so is the spicy tomato soup. The space itself is open to the street and there’s a little bar by the register as well.

You’re doing yourself a great disservice if you walk down the street muttering: “This place looks cool!” without stopping in to try. I’m talking about the best grilled cheese you’ll get in this hemisphere and quite possibly the world for unbeatable prices and an atmosphere that is seldom found anywhere else. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Go. Thank me later.

Great spot for delicious comfort food but also nice place to grab drinks and hang out. We stopped in and ended up staying a while watching the Rangers game, had the goat cheese grilled cheese and more elderflower spritz than I'd like to admit. I think we found out new spot. 😋

I love this place...it has a great atmosphere to it...and the food taste great.. my favorite is the Buffalo Chicken mac and cheese 👍🏾👍🏾with Sweet Potato Tater Tots. This place also has some amazing artwork.. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The food was amazing, and the workers were really nice. The environment inside is very nice and chill. I will definitely be coming back here all the time. Only downside is that i would have liked it if they had fried mozzarella sticks.

Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Tomato Bisque Complimentary Olives Italian Grilled Cheese Sweet Potato Tots All food was delicious and fresh. The cheese was perfectly melted and the bread had a nice crunch. Soup was tangy and creamy. Tots were crispy and slightly sweet. We will definitely come back. It is a little pricey for grilled cheese but the ingredients used were good quality. Decor was interesting and staff was friendly. I would’ve given this place 5 stars but the restroom was awful. The floor was wet like there was a busted pipe and the toilet seat is so close to the wall you cannot hover, much less sit because there is literally no room for your knees. You’d have to come in and sit from the side. That is just a big no. Put in a smaller toilet and/or remodel your bathroom. Myself and 3 other customers went in to use it and immediately walked back out.

Decent restaurant close to Flatiron. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the omelette. The omelette was decent. The fried chicken sandwich was not good might have been better off going to Chick Fil A. The aperol spritz was as expected. The OJ served was quite watery

Wandered in looking for a bite to eat before heading to a magic show at Fotografiska. Stand out French fries (and I’ve had many in nyc) and an excellent flatbread. WS very impressed. Beautiful spot!

cozy spot in flatiron! came just for drinks and it was the perfect environment to sit and catch up. we were cutting it close on time but our server was able to whip up a second round for us. the food looked & smelled good too!

Just happened to pass this place and decided to give it a go. Very pleased. Had the strawberry salad and then the half chicken; both outstanding!!! I had some time to kill and had wanted to eat before an event. They were not open just yet but seeing me outside perusing the menu, let me in and we’re gracious with wine and water while they finished setting up. Good looking place with atmosphere and the food was delicious. Rob

Harding’s is a spirited pub that serves some very decent food. The inside design creates has a great classic bar feel and there is outside dining. I was impressed with the quality of the food and ordered the beef short rib. It was tender as you would expect and service was efficient. Servers paired the short rib well with a class of cabernet. Rather than my preferred one large ice cube the old fashion had smaller cubes of ice, but still balanced old fashion flavor.

Great bar and night scene. The later it gets, the busier. The bar itself has a huge hanging out space so you're not on top of one another. Very chill vibe and can be a romantic spot if you choose (albeit a little loud between the music and people). Perfect for an after work get together or a night out. The dining room is very spacious as well, there's even a second floor spot for a private group if needed. Must try the grilled octopus and cheese plate. Generous portions to boot.

By far the best experience I've had in a long time with a progressive menu! The sliders are the best sliders I have ever eaten! They were so good that I decided to get the burger! The burger was awesome and is in my top three burgers of all time! The fries are so good that you'll eat until there are no fries left!! Dessert was a classy mango sorbet! This restaurant was great just because of the food that the Execute Chef prepared, but the manager, all the servers and house staff rendered superior service! For this quality of food and service you would expect to pay an absorbent price! But for a three course meal with a refillable coke, it was under $60! Great wings at this spot - perfectly crispy yet juicy! For the most part, pretty sizable as well. A few were small but they preemptively addresed the issue saying as much and they’d add extras - all good! And I love they have so many varieties of rubs and sauces. I just wish I didn’t have to choose just one for an order of 12, though the one I picked, Nashville heat was excellent. But along with the onion rings which were also excellent great, it was a rather filling meal so would probably go with fewer wings on a return visit.

I've been holding off going to this spot for awhile and decided to go there today. Delicious wings, friendly staff and a down-to-earth owner. Thank you for the hospitality and I'll be sure to recommend you to my chicken wing lover friends :)

Natalie Clark was an amazing kick ass server for us! Kicking ass taking care of tables and checking in on my fiance and me and all of my shenanigans lol. Small little spot but definitely worth it. Not a lot of seating if you are looking to eat there but I did take out and it was so good. I got the Tandoori wing lunch special which was really good. Tandoori is a dry rub that had a little heat but wasn't overpowering at all and thay it coming from someone who cannot handle heat. Definitely get your fries dusted. I went with the lemon pepper and it was delicious. The star of the show was definitely the chicken birria quesadilla. IT WAS AMAZING! You cannot come here and skip this it really is thag good. This place packs a lot of flavor and the price is very fair here. Definitely will be back

Found this place on Eater and this place did not disappoint. I’ve been craving traditional buffalo wings (original confession) and it was amazinggggggggg!!! I love that you can customize the crispiness. Deepak also went out of his way to make sure the sauces were pasteurized since I’m pregnant and I thought that was really thoughtful. Check this place out! I will definitely come back!!

We've been ordering in from this place frequently, but I was curious to experience the ambiance and savor a fresh, hot sandwich in-house. Regrettably, it's not a dine-in establishment, but the food is simply extraordinary. The wings are a standout, with flavors like garlic parm, chili mango, and black pepper teriyaki that were all exceptionally delicious. Alongside the wings, we indulged in two sandwiches; the BBQ fried chicken sandwich was a succulent and crispy delight. If you are in the neighborhood definitely try their food. You will not regret it.

I eat wings often so I think my opinion might be useful. My opinions on the wings: the classic is pretty standard, nothing special but it's not bad either, the garlic parmesan wings are delicious but I tasted more butter than garlic, honey mustard is good and taste like what you expect, BBQ wings also taste as expected. The bacon cheese fries are amazing, the macaroni and cheese is good. Service is lovely, and the staff is kind honestly no complaints.

I must say visited this place a few days ago and was left satisfied. I thought cause of a small place wasn't good, but the food over shadowed everything. If you around come in or order from any app that's available. The mac and cheese was amazing. I had a cheese burger mac and cheese and was left wanting more. I will be returning soon.

The service was underwhelming at best. Very transactional feeling to the business. About 10 people can sit inside at most to eat. Probably better for take out. They told me to expect 15’min for prep. Took about 15-20. Pretty standard. The food: I got the mushroom Mac and cheese - again, not overly impressed, but not bad. very “alright.” Decent spot for a quick-ish bite, especially a salty/savory/cheesy bite.

Amazing random find while walking around looking for dinner. Had to stop in because who doesn't love mac n cheese?? Small but cozy shop with comfortable seating. Took about 15 minutes to prepare, but completely worth the wait. I got the margarita mac, it was delicious and light. The medium size was a good dinner portion for me. The dishes were mac n cheese themed, which kept the food hot but allowed you to handle without worry. The plasticwear had an interesting design were they clicked together for storage. Overall the food and atmosphere were amazing and I'll definitely be going back to try other mac n cheese combinations!!

Takes a long time. I got something ~*different*~though so I guess they just made it fresh which is nice.. but don't expect to be in and out of here in twenty minutes with your food if it's not just plain Mac and cheese. I had the corned beef Ruben themed Mac. I actually didn't like it. It was kind of nauseating but someone else got the same thing and loved it so I guess that's just my personal opinion on it. I could barely eat it. There's space for them to put a couple more tables to accommodate a few more people so I wish they'd add extra seating. A ton of places to sit but no where to really sit AND EAT. because it's weird to just sit in the space between people with no table and eat next to them (but I did it anyways)

This is a second Mac and cheese style eatery I have visited In last month and this one fell little short compare to the other one. First the siting area is small so it's more of a take away style place and that's ok but the area was messy, tables were not wiped, napkins on them and on the bench style seat. The employees seemed more into talking to each other also they were not busy at all. Now for the food I ordered lobster Mac and cheese and you can tell from the picture the lobster was sprinkled not lot of it. What lobster you did get was rubbery and lacked flavor but the cheese was good. You get your food in aluminum bowl so don't expect much presentation also using these bowls you really don't get crispy edges you expect from baked Mac and cheese that is made in cast iron pans. Will I eat here again maybe if I'm walking by and can't find anything else, will I go out of my way? no! you have better choices in the city for mac and cheese.

My wife and I love Brooklyn Star! The staff is very polite and cheerful, the restaurant is well kept, and most importantly, the food is fantastic. We've had brunch and dinner, and both were worth returning for. The mac and cheese is one of the best around.

Cozy, relaxed, tasty. Great service. Ideal for solo diners and families too - great mix. Bar-feel at the front and a more open, light dining room at the rear. Limited but we’ll-formed menu is southern comfort food with a city twist. Located very close to the subway.

Came for brunch when literally every other place in Brooklyn had a 1.5 hour wait. Here was only a 30 minute wait but we ended up getting seats at the bar. The chicken and waffles were SUPER good and I loved the grapefruit with it adding a fresh/sweet touch as the top had a sugar glaze. Drinks were pretty pricey so It’s not your typical bottomless place BUT would definitely come back just to try more food. Also pretty cool/chill atmosphere with good music

Great experience at the Brooklyn Star. Service was good and the food was excellent. We had the duck wings, bone marrow, corn and mac and cheese. More than enough for 2 peoples and the price was very reasonable. Their brunch menu looked good and I'll be back to enjoy that!

Overall great American fare. Not the healthiest place but a great option if you wanna be bad! It's so good....get the mac and cheese, ask for a $2 Kool Aid, and finish it off the Meatloaf sandwich!

This place was a pleasant surprise. Somewhat of a hidden gem of Williamsburg. Had the Mac n cheese pie with Texas toast n it was amazing. Couldn't finish it all though. The Mac and cheese came on a hot skillet by the way(nice presentation). It was roughly about $20 per person including drinks. Definitely giving this place big thumbs up. S/N: They don't skimp on alcohol. Got a Jim Bean with ginger ale n it was strong but great. Oh and I forgot to mention that there is Kool-Aid on the menu... Just gonna let that soak in lol

First off this place is 100% VEGAN!! I had a “BCB” burger & fries & a mandarin iced tea. The burger was surprisingly filling! The mouth feel on the burger was surprisingly good. The flavor & consistency was what I expected for mashed lentils.. I had an order of half/half Fries also. They came unsalted which was a nice change of pace and the sweet potato fries were obviously more flavorful. My issue was that they didn’t come to me hot. I know it’s 4:30pm on. Wednesday and its empty in here but hey. I’m sure they’re hot at lunchtime. Young lady behind the counter was the BEST! Helpful knowledgeable & super kind. Closing out, I have to say that I feel great about the whole experience and will surely be back. PS - good rewards system also! I received $5 off my first purchase. A GR8 truly vegan bang for the buck.

A clean Vegan spot in the fashion district to get food at. I had the saucy Buffalo Wrap at it was an average wrap, nothing great flavor wise. Today I am ordering the Crispy Chicky salad and Sweet Potato and Cashew Mac n Cheese. Just ate the Salad and the Ginger dressing goes amazing with this combo. Highly recommended

I had the delight of eating here the other day, and it was absolutely delicious! I decided on “The Club” as you see in my photos, it was beautifully made and really filled me up! Everything I wanted in a sandwich and fries. Their chipotle aioli was also very good. A little kick without it being spicy. I personally didn’t care for the beet ketchup as it was kind of sweet, but I’m sure others love it. Keep it up ! 10/10 will definitely eat here again !

Super disappointing Nashville Chicky Wrap. Flavor was overly sweet, “Super Crispy Jackfruit” was not even crispy at all… more like soggy, and seemed super processed rather than whole food based, plus there wasn’t a substantial amount of it in there. Cheddar chz was not absolutely horrible but not worth eating to me at all. Ordering is awkward choosing between self ordering kiosks or a non enthused cashier. Glad I got the fries so I had something to enjoy but the chipotle aioli was sweeter than I’d like as well. Now I see this is the reinvented byChloe whose flavors I never enjoyed either.

This spot is SO good. I got the Caesar chicky wrap. Definitely could use a bit of “spice”, so I used some Cholula, but overall it was an amazing meal. I was working from the WeWork up the street, and it’s a quick 4 min walk, plant based goodness, and walked it back. Overall 10/10. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the Times Square area. If you’re looking for a sit-down sort of fancier spot, this is NOT IT. But a great grab-and-go spot.

This restaurant is very vegan. Vegan lobster rolls. The ketchup tasted like cranberry sauce. I had a falafel. It cam as a wrap. The actual falafel balls were delicious but the accoutrements were just ok. The fries were no big deal. Healthy I guess. This is a restaurant for the die hard vegan.

The fried chicken Caesar wrap came highly recommended, and I’m not entirely sure it lived up to the hype. Each piece of the wrap was good, but taken together, this felt like less than the sum of its parts. I’ll just do a biscuit dish next time again!

The mac and cheese is decadent, and the crunchy and tasty buttermilk fried chicken with soft biscuits is incredible, waffle fries quite good too. The only thing I didn't like was the hot honey, cause it was very hot but not sweet at all. The restaurant is inside the Time Out market, which is a great location right on the waterfront, with lots of good restaurants and seats, even though they weren't very clean, but the table service is very convenient.

This place is awesome. The hot honey fried chicken biscuits with the Mac and cheese was so good. This location is set inside a really cool food hall in Brooklyn. Well worth a visit.

Cute spot, but the sizing is off — their “large” feels more like a medium. Prices are a bit high. I got the orange & passion fruit green tea at 30% sweetness, but it was still really sweet and watery. They should considering lower the amount of syrup. Barely any green tea flavor. Noticed a lot of staff in the back — they seemed busy, just doing their jobs, but service felt kind of distant. Overall, not terrible, but not a place I’d rush back to.

The drinks were good, albeit expensive. The durian drink was really good, better than the latte. Unfortunately the wait time for this place is insanely long. You should probably order and just do something else. Our drink was supposed to take 30 minutes but it took over an hour.

Found this place online. It’s takeout only, no seating. I tried the durian “Nuo Nuo,” which was chewy and fragrant, just like eating fresh durian! My friend got the white peach oolong and said it was great to No seating area though

The durian mochi milk tea doesn’t have much of a durian flavor—just tastes like sweet milk—so it’s not really worth trying

My girlfriend and I got our durian mochi milk tea here last night. We noticed a layer of chocolate colored foam on top of the drink and it was darker colored than the last few durian milk tea we got here. We both felt sick about an hour after having the drink. The stomach illness lasted through the night and is still lingering after 24 hours. Reflecting on the color of the drink, the durian was probably not fresh at all when it was made into our drinks.

The employees do not wear gloves and stack all cups touched by their bare hands together. They put stickers on the cups then stack them back together. This is concerning... All other bubble tea places in flushing don’t do this

Disorganized and uncaring staff. The wait time was unnecessary long because they let ready drinks just sit on the counter for minutes without calling out number just wait for the customers to asked . My drink was sitting on the counter for at least 10 mins, i went and ask 3 times if my order was ready. The first 2 times without checking they just told me they are serving a different number . finally I said I have been waiting for half an hour they checked the counter and turned out the drink that’s been sitting there was indeed mind. My drink was fine but my friend’s drink was a slush and by the time we got it was no longer a slush. My friend also ordered a pin but they didn’t give it to us till we check and asked . I have waited 20-30 mins for drinks before but this one was just unnecessary and not worth it for sure. Both guava yogurt and guava slush just tastes like apples for some reason.

I always leave Tipsy with a great bottle of wine and a smile on my face! Excellent choices of wines, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Friends from Manhattan who go with me always say they wish they had a Tipsy in their neighborhood! EDIT DEC 2024: The wine selection is unrecognizable under new ownership/buyer. Gone are the small woman-owned wineries and thoughtful selections. Very disappointing as a loyal customer.

Love this place. Such a great selection of wines and awesome descriptions under each wine. Super organized and surprisingly affordable. They’re also dog friendly which is so convenient when I’m walking my pup to grab wines they even gave him treats. My new fav spot to get wines !

I love have this wine shop so close to home. First of all, the decor is adorable, all pink. They have a great selection of wines and good prices for high quality. I love their descriptions and it's easy to see what each wine pairs well with.

A delicious selection of affordable wines from all sorts of backgrounds, highlights on products sold by women winemakers, and a choice of bottles sold across the street at Tailfeather wine bar (gives you a real neighbourly feel). The revamped rewards program is somewhat unusual and unrewarding; I was explained I have to purchase 25 bottles over 3 months to get a 25$ gift card, after which the clock resets. If you buy at a rate less than 2 bottles a week, it’s not something worth signing up for (as I discovered after about a year of purchases).

Great wine selection however very poor customer service. Started before I even got to step into the store but considering I made a journey just to check out this wine shop I still waited to enter. No greeting. No offer to help. Didn’t offer a receipt and when I asked for one the woman at the register shrugged her shoulders and said the printer didn’t work. Won’t be returning.

When I tell you that I am beyond going away by the service and incredible food we received, words don't cut it. We received a butcher block with some of the best steak I've had in New York City for an amazing deal of only $76, their best Thursday special! The bartenders and wait staff were so professional and attended our table in such a timely manner, and their General manager, Desmond, Checked in on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy with the food and the service !! I can't wait to return with more of my friends to show them my new favorite steakhouse!

I went on a Thursday with my boyfriend and another couple and we had an amazing meal the steaks were cooked to perfection! The scalloped potatoes were amazing ! And the champagne selection was massive! We went at midnight and were amazed to be able to get such great food and went into the club after . Great experience!

Went with the boys for a bachelor party! The steaks are cooked perfectly and they serve food till 2am had even more fun in the club.What more is there to say.

So i went to primal cut with my girlfriends and we had the best seafood and steaks and we were able to order food at 1:30 in the morning and I’m pretty sure that is the latest in New York City where you can get filet mignon and crabcakes when you’re tipsy! Amazing

They have gluten free options for me and it was such a great dinner! Great service and great vibes they have music from the club inside so it’s great

Thought I would give it a try. I got the $11 veggie burger, comes with no sides, tiny/thin patty and hard crunchy bread. It was actually pretty good but should not still be hungry after eating a burger. Nice place, quick service, but not for me.

Food is just... Not good. Dry, bland, kinda tasteless, everything is overcooked to the point of being burnt. Music is too loud like they are trying to drive you out. Chipotle mayo slaps tho
