Lounge
The Panorama Room is a trendy rooftop lounge in New York City, offering stunning city views and a modern atmosphere. Located on the 18th floor of the Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island, it provides an indoor bar with glass walls and an outdoor terrace for a 360-degree view of the city. The lounge features cherry blossom themed cocktails to celebrate the annual spring ritual, including options like Forever Young, Spring Fever, and Last Dance.
Came here for the first time with a friend! It’s at the top of the Graduate Hotel and the view is insane you can see the whole city lit up. We got dessert and cocktails. The inside can be like a going out vibe with a DJ OR you can just sit on a cozy couch and catch up with friends. Yes it’s pricey but you’re paying for rooftop views. Service was also great. Our waitress was so sweet and on top of everything. The decor is beautiful, the bathroom has super bright pink lights and fun to be in and take pictures hahaha! Would come again!!

Absolutely fantastic views n this is the number one reason to go here!! Drinks are a little more expensive than on manhattan but not to bad. They drinks are very good and creative. The atmosphere is wonderful. It was clear the bartenders love their job and it showed. An easy walk from the tram. Located on the island and its very quiet. I highly recommend taking a look!!!

It’s great view from Roosevelt island to city. Place has good bar food and great drinks. Gets little crowded on certain nights but overall great place to hangout and take pictures. Recommend to go few hours before sunset

This is what I think of when hearing of a cocktail bar in NYC. Masterful cocktails with an amazing view of the City. Vibes are giving " I'm in a movie in the 80's in an upscale bar". Picture perfect. Red interior in the corner. Comfortable lounge seating. Is it pricey? Yes. But worth going to

Great rooftop with amazing views located in Graduate by Hilton New York Hotel. The food was okay considering we only ordered fries. Very limited menu for vegetarians though. We ordered two cocktails- BMW and Panoloma- both were good but a bit sweet. The view was breathtaking and ambience is amazing with good music. Really cool bar area. I will definitely come again.
Rahul A — Google review
The view is beautiful and the drinks are delicious; it's a great place to hang out. The atmosphere is relaxing and in keeping with the theme. It's a quiet place where you can chat calmly while enjoying a drink. The staff is friendly, and I consider it a private place. I will definitely return.
Néstor R — Google review
The only reason to go to this place, is the view. Which is amazing! And honestly worth it but the service here sucks. I was expecting this to be a much “fancier” bar than it was, but it felt like a hotel capitalizing on their great view with expensive food and drinks. Service was very very slow, had to go to the bar to ask for someone to serve us twice. We had saved this bar for our last night to be a “special” evening - wouldn’t do that again, but would suggest going if you are looking for a cool view.
Nadine — Google review
Following a very disappointing meal at the nearby Serendipity 3 Upper East Side restaurant on my wife's actual 60th birthday I was hoping that our visit afterwards to the Panorama Room rooftop top bar in the Graduate Hotel on nearby Roosevelt Island would be a much more enjoyably experience and thankfully it was. It was a short walk from Serendipity 3 up to the Roosevelt Island tram terminal for the short tram journey across to Roosevelt Island and once on the island it was a short walk to the lobby of the Graduate Hotel. Access to the Panorama Room rooftop bar is via a lift behind the lobby that is only accessible once you have shown ID to prove you are over 21 to a security guard and he unlocks the doors to the lift. I didn't have any ID on me, however, after a bit of gentle persuasion that at 64 I must surely look older than 21, the security guard let me go up to the bar. When we got out of the lift the greeter at the podium told us we had 3 options: we could find ourselves a table with waiter service inside the bar, we could sit at the bar and order drinks from the bartenders or we could sit outside on the balcony and buy our drinks at the bar. We chose to sit out on the balcony to enjoy the stunning views across to Manhattan Island on one side and Long Island City on the other side of the Island, and onto the Ed Koch Queensboro bridge next to the hotel. We arrived just before sunset with daylight views, which very quickly changed to night time views, with all the buildings & city lights in the Manhattan night skyline all switched on and lit up. I bought a couple of cans of Juice Bomb IPA beer from the bartender, which my wife and I drank & enjoyed at the counter on the edge of balcony, whilst enjoying the stunning views and watching the fairly busy river traffic past by.

Lounge
The Crown is a chic rooftop bar and lounge situated on the 21st floor of Hotel 50 Bowery in Chinatown, New York City. It offers stunning panoramic views of downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and New Jersey from both its indoor lounge and two open-air outdoor terraces. The venue serves Asian-inspired cocktails and a rotating selection of globally-inspired small bites to complement the breathtaking vistas. Operated by the same group behind Mr.
It's a really nice rooftop bar. Going out through the balcony gives you amazing views of New York City. The drinks were really good. Food was expensive, but it's an NYC bar, that is expected. It's very clean and the service was great. The inside is really beautiful and nicely decorated as well.

Went for the first time on Friday around 5 pm. Was surprised it was relatively quiet but I did see many people sitting outside. Was not about to do that in this heat. Had a pre dinner drink and snack, both good (cucumber and chicken wings). Good and friendly service as well. Great view from the inside wherever you sat. Saw a dj come around 6 pm as we were leaving so decided to come back in the evening and definitely more crowded with a relaxing vibe. The night time view was great and could sit outside since the weather cooled. We sat in the more private patio area for awhile towards the back which was nice to be able to talk and relax. Then moved to the bigger area where the music was louder and more of a fun atmosphere. I loved everything here except my one disappointment was the drink options were limited. Like only 4 beers and 2 of them were Corona. Then 2 cocktails on the menu that I preferred were out of stock. Like how are they going to not have the liquor supply for 2 popular drinks. Anyhow other than that I will definitely be returning!

Dan, Sarah, Angel, and Amber were absolutely amazing! The rooftop is stunning, with gorgeous views that make the perfect backdrop for a great night out. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful spot with exceptional service.

The Crown offers delicious small plates and cocktails, with great views in one of the most mellow and relaxing settings you'll ever find. They have two outdoor rooftop seating areas and an indoor seating, which are all large and spacious. The employees were very courteous and friendly, and were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu items. They offer a great happy hour deal Tuesdays to Fridays from 4 to 6, with drinks specials and half off select menu items.

Stunning rooftop views, great bar, great atmosphere. I came here for a High School Reunion. Had a really great time all around. Definitely was impressed by the space, the location is great. I'm always in Chinatown can't believe I am just now discovering "The Crown". It's super cool

Refinery Rooftop is an industrial-chic rooftop spot located in the Refinery Hotel, offering a stunning view of the iconic Empire State Building and the bustling streets of Manhattan's historic Garment District. The rooftop features both indoor and outdoor seating, with a comfortable and relaxed outdoor terrace complete with couches and low tables for guests to enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
A Stellar Rooftop Experience with Amazing Service! The atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking, the vibe was sophisticated yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a girls get together (us). The food was equally impressive. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor. And then there was Caroline, our server, who truly made our brunch exceptional. She was an absolute gem – incredibly attentive, genuinely friendly, and seemed to anticipate our every need.

This is a nice bar. It’s not extremely high up, but the 13th floor is always cool and lucky. You don’t have a view all around but it’s still a nice ambiance. The waitstaff is nice and attentive. The cocktail was tasty. The food came out super fast, and it was very beautifully presented and quite tasty! The Thai wings is a nice “middle of the road” flavor! Not too sweet, not spicy. The tacos are quite good and the yuca fries are beautiful! The only situation out of the ordinary was the bathroom experience. I tried to use one that just became available and the attendant stopped me and said to not use it! I asked why and she said that it was only for handicapped. But a very capable female with 8” heels and a cocktail dresses came out running. I said “But she’s not handicapped!” And the attendant said “well but she’s a woman!” What was this about? So I waited for the next one but then when I got out a very capable male came out of the handicapped one!!! I suggest being cautious with this type of behavior. It can be perceived, as “peculiar!”

Best beet salad of my life! I had to order it twice during our 2 night stay. We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Refinery Hotel just because this restaurant and hotel are incredible! Great staff. Ian and Ryan were great servers. We appreciate you guys and we will be back! 🙏🏼

The food, atmosphere and service were absolutely wonderful. Every dish we tried was delicious and Caroline was an outstanding server offering great recommendations. The cocktails were also great. We’re going back before we leave New York.

Delicious food with a perfect location. This rooftop view of the Empire State binding is fantastic. You can reserve specific tables for a nominal fee directly through the website so plan ahead for a direct view! Staff is super friendly. Drinks were perfect. We stayed at the hotel which is also great and went twice.

I was really looking forward to visiting Refinery Rooftop to enjoy the food and the beautiful city views, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t turn out as expected. When we arrived, the entire outdoor seating area had been booked for a private event, which wasn’t mentioned ahead of time. We ended up standing by the bar and waiting for over an hour in hopes of getting a table. After about 1.5 hours of waiting with no seating available, we finally gave up and went to the restaurant downstairs instead. It was disappointing not to be able to enjoy the rooftop view or the full experience we came for. I’d recommend calling ahead to check for private events if you’re planning to visit.
Joan L — Google review
I visited Refinery Rooftop with my girlfriends on a night out to celebrate an engagement for one of them. I can’t comment on the food, because we ate somewhere else prior and this location was an after dinner drinks spot for us. The 1st floor is very swanky and beautifully lit. After or ID’s were checked, we got onto the elevator to the top floor. When the doors opened, we were greeted to a dance floor and a DJ who was spinning all the right music that would appeal to all different crowds. This area was encased in glass so you were able to be in this area even if it rained. We made a reservation prior and they seated us quickly. Our table was in the outside area which had large tables, table umbrellas, greenery and soft lighting. And although this was all beautiful, the stunner was THE VIEW! This picture doesn’t do it justice! The drink menu has awesome hand crafted drink options as well as the usual favorites. The drink prices were typical for Manhattan. This is perfect for a girls night, or a date night! I would absolutely recommend this based on the vibe and drinks!

It’s a beautiful place with a nice vibe great environment and good drinks. Reservation is needed but if you don’t mind stand in the bar just walk in. The lady in the bathroom was a bit rude with my friend, and there was a line to get in . Parking two blocks away.

Cocktail bar
Westlight is a rooftop bar located on the 22nd floor of the William Vale hotel in Brooklyn. It stands out with its sleek architecture and offers stunning panoramic views of both Williamsburg and the Manhattan skyline. The bar, created by Chef Andrew Carmellini, boasts an impressive menu of craft cocktails and delicious food. The NoHo hospitality group ensures that every drink and bite has both a story and excellent quality.
Went to Westlight in Brooklyn and was absolutely blown away. This spot is stunning — the panoramic views of the NYC skyline at sunset are unbeatable. The vibe is upscale but relaxed, and it’s the perfect place to take in the city from above. We only had drinks this time, but everything was well-made and the service was smooth. No complaints at all. It’s definitely a place you go to for both the atmosphere and the experience. Can’t wait to come back and try the food — I’ll update the review once we do! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful rooftop bar with breathtaking views.
William Z — Google review
Awesome bar with an amazing view of Manhattan! Food and drinks were better than expected. While the atmosphere is impeccable, I’m taking off one star for the following reasons: - We had a reservation but still waited about 25 minutes to be seated. A simple “sorry for the wait” would have been appreciated. - Shortly after we were finally seated, a woman came over and accused us of taking the wrong table—as if we had seated ourselves. When we told her we were shown to the table, she asked who had seated us… um, the hostess? In fact, while we were waiting, the hostess mentioned that our indoor table was by an open window and would feel like we were outdoors. The table we were seated at matched that exact description, so I had just mentioned to the hostess that her description was spot on. Even if we were mistakenly seated at the wrong table, shouldn’t the staff communicate and resolve the issue internally instead of confronting and accusing guests? I’m not sure who this woman was, but she was quite rude. She never came back to apologize for the confusion. Our server was nice; however, he forgot to bring a water bowl for our dog (this place/hotel is dog-friendly), even after we asked for one. We didn’t bother asking again. But a staff member who was cleaning our table noticed we had a dog and kindly offered to bring a water bowl, which we appreciated. Note that there are two separate lines for the elevators—one for reservations and another for walk-ins. This was not clearly indicated. The doorman (I think?) simply asks if you’re going to Westlight and then points you to the walk-in line when you say yes, so we initially waited in the wrong line.
Stella L — Google review
This place never disappoints even if you're visiting just for drinks or after dinner. The views are probably one of the best in NYC. The top terrace with couches is a nice touch because it offers sitting area even if you're not booking a table. Its tough getting through the crowd in order to get to the bar but it's manageable. Diverse selection of mixed drinks including some draft beers. Must visit if you're in the area.

I had the most magical evening at Westlight on October 6, 2025, with my best friend. 🌇✨ I made the reservation a month in advance, and it was so worth it — they gave us a beautiful outdoor table with the perfect view of the sunset and city skyline. As the sky turned pink and gold, it felt like the whole city was glowing just for us. 🌆 The beef burger was amazing, juicy and flavorful, and the cocktails were not only delicious but also so pretty! 🍸 After dinner, we moved indoors and sat near a lovely couple who were also celebrating a birthday. We ended up buying them a little photo and an ice cream dessert — it even came with a cute sparkler! 🎂 We all exchanged birthday wishes across the tables and laughed together. It felt like pure joy shared between strangers. The staff were incredibly kind. They gave us free hot water and let us stay to talk for hours. Just before we left, Natalie (I think she was the manager) came over and surprised us with a postcard that said “Happy Birthday” and “Welcome to NYC!” with the Westlight logo. My friend was so touched — she couldn’t stop smiling. 💖 Last year, her birthday wasn’t the happiest, but this year, thanks to Westlight, it became truly unforgettable. Thank you for making our night so warm and special. We’ll definitely be back — and next time, I’m leaving an even bigger tip! 💫
Gemmy W — Google review
I was looking for a bar with a beautiful view and it did not disappoint! I don’t remember the name of the cocktail, but it had blueberry and basil — one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The snacks were tasty, and the service was friendly. I’m absolutely thrilled with this place!
Katie M — Google review
The scenery is absolutely stunning. If you’re coming here to take beautiful photos or enjoy the night view, this place is definitely worth it. But if you’re looking for great food, it might not be the best choice. The prices are moderate—not cheap, but not too expensive either. It’s definitely a great spot for dates or gatherings. The photo shows what I ordered when I went there—everything was quite good except for the Coke. Maybe it’s just because I don’t like flavored Coke, but honestly, it tasted terrible. P.S. I recommend sitting indoors during spring, autumn and winter. You can step outside to take some photos, but don’t eat out there. The wind was so strong when I went that my food got cold right after it was served. Overall, though, I’d still highly recommend this place.
Jennie P — Google review
Westlight is an absolute top 5 pick for best rooftop restaurant in NYC. With breathtaking views, delicious small plates, unique drinks, and one of the largest rooftop spaces you'll find in the 5 boroughs, Westlight is easily one of the best rooftop spots that you can find in NYC. The food was flavorful and appetizing, especially the jerk oxtail sliders!! To top it all off, the staff was simply amazing. Every single employee I encountered was not only courteous, attentive and knowledgeable, but just all-round wonderful people. And as if the glass-enclosed and terrace dining areas weren't great enough, they have a large open lawn a level above, that offers completely unobstructed views from all angles. Westlight is definitely a new addition to my favorites, and I'm eager to visit again soon!!
Shakara M — Google review
If you can find a better sunset view in Brooklyn, I would be shocked! If you want to sit outside, be sure to make reservations as they will not let you hang out outside and crowd the people who do have reservations. The drinks were on point, and we only snacked on some empanadas, and those were outstanding

Nestled high above the bustling streets of New York City, Overstory is a cocktail lounge that promises an unforgettable experience. Located on the 64th floor of a Financial District skyscraper, this retro-chic bar offers not only creative cocktails and delectable snacks but also stunning panoramic views that are simply breathtaking. Under the expert guidance of chef James Kent and industry veteran Jeff Katz, Overstory stands out in their impressive portfolio alongside Crown Shy and SAGA.
Overstory — cocktails with a view We came as a group of six — perfect for a special night out. The panoramic views of Manhattan are breathtaking, the interior is stylish, and the atmosphere feels intimate yet vibrant. We tried many cocktails, and everything was spot on. I especially want to highlight the non-alcoholic ones — I tried all of them. Very sweet, but creative and surprisingly fun. Service was attentive, and reservations are a must. A true sky-high experience — in every sense.
Kristina Z — Google review
The views are amazing, the cocktails are good but not top notch. The best time to come is sunset time and usually there is a queue so I recommend coming 30-60 mins in advance. This will allow you to enjoy the sunset followed by the view on New York at night. They have minimum one cocktail per person policy and ask you for a credit card at the entrance. You then need to give them your last name every time you order which is really not super convenient from the one hand, but allows you to easily move around the place on another. They have two storeys and both closed space as well as the open terrace. The views are almost 360 degrees and are just outstanding. The velvet green cocktail was just okay - had some aftertaste and was a bit sour. Fragolina was probably the nicest one I’ve tried - with a very simple yet tasty flavour. The only downside was that it was a bit bitter. S.D.G. tasted a bit sour/fermented and even though I love mezcal, I was not a big fan of the cocktail itself. Some staff members were slightly haughty. Overall I recommend this place if you are in New York - the views compensate for everything that is not perfect. I am usually not a huge atmosphere advocate and usually come to bars and restaurants for food and drinks but this is one of the cases when the atmosphere really boosts the experience

The outdoor area is unmatched on a beautiful evening. The staff are friendly and nice. The drinks are amazing. The small bits from the Saga kitchen are delicious. A little higher priced because you're obviously paying for the top floor environment.

I recently visited Overstay, and it turned out to be an incredible find. Even as a walk-in, we were lucky enough to get seated such a great surprise for a place this popular. The drinks were creative and memorable. I tried the Pink Tuxedo and an Old Fashioned, and both were outstanding beautifully balanced and packed with flavor. For bites, we had hummus and a grilled cheese sandwich, which paired perfectly with the cocktails. The atmosphere was on point: stylish, lively, yet comfortable enough to really enjoy the evening. Everything from the drinks to the small plates felt thoughtfully put together. Overstay is definitely the kind of bar that makes you want to come back.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The hosts were friendly and very attentive. The space is absolutely one of a kind. Every staff person we encountered was wonderful. Cocktails were unique and delicious. And the views of course are unbelievable!!

I have been to Overstory at least 10 times in the last year. There is simply nothing to compare it to. While this review is 5 stars but there are definitely some notes here. Let’s start with the bar itself. Overstory is located in 70 pine street which is home to two other sister establishments, Crown Shy and SAGA. Both of which are 1 and 2 Michelin star establishments respectively. Overstory is definitely on the more approachable side of things. While there is no dress code you will want to take pictures with the view so most people are dressed quite nicely. The ambiance is quiet, relaxed and conversational. If you come on a weekend and during peak hours the wait can be diabolically long because they keep a low capacity which I appreciate. It never truly feels crowded. My advice is to come right when they open or an hour and a half before they close. I have never had to wait during those times. The location is quite out of the way for tourists so the clientele feels more local and usually people truly trying to relax. Fairly unique for a flagship Manhattan establishment. The cocktail program is stellar with bartenders who are incredibly in tune with their ingredients and preparation methods. As a professional bartender myself, I can say the expertise of the staff here is palpable. The signature cocktails are for the most part fantastic and the staff can definitely help direct you towards the ones you will enjoy the most. If you have questions about ingredients or liquors, they have the answers. The menu also includes great n/a cocktails which I appreciate. Although I do wish there were a few more n/a options. At a bar of this caliber I would expect to see an n/a beer other than athletic brewing. There are many other delicious beer options that reflect a more thoughtful and curated selection. Depending on the visit I also order off menu classic cocktails because the bartenders here are not playing around. They know how to make fantastic drinks and I trust them with my life. Special mention to Atticus, he has provided my guests and I with fantastic drinks for my past 3 visits. The prices here are high but completely justified. Cocktails range from $25-35 and include unique tastes and beautiful presentations. This is not a tourist trap, simply a bar of such prestige that those prices are expected. There is no other bar at that price point that offers what Overstory does. Other establishments either underperform on cocktail quality, service, experience or all of those things combined. Overstory delivers on each of those points exceptionally well. Recently, I have noticed the service slipping slightly. This is something no one would notice if they visited just once but having been so many times it becomes visible. Upon entering the indoor bar area and sitting, I would hope each guest would be greeted promptly. On the past two occasions it took several minutes to make contact with a server. I understand that table service might end at a certain time of evening but a simple note to “order with the bartender” upon entering would prevent any confusion or excess waiting by guests. Also I feel that there used to be more guidance given to guests on the continuity of service. When we are first seated, explaining that we can leave our bags at our table while going outside would make new guests feel more familiar and comfortable. I feel comfortable doing this but other people might drag their bags around and dampen their own experience. This is definitely something that used to be communicated but I haven’t heard it recently. Overstory now collects a payment method before you go up the elevator and instituted a one drink per person minimum. I can see how this became necessary but it does unfortunately roughen up the entry experience. A final note is that while the views are impeccable and the drinks are fantastic, the interior decor is beginning to feel dated. It’s not quite out of style but it’s not quite classic enough to survive year after year.

All of the wait staff and interactions with the employees were professional and friendly. From the host downstairs, to the server who had great drink recommendations we were all smiles! The view was incredible and we were there at sunset which was stunning. There is a 25$ minimum purchase price per person. The drinks were expensive but it was a high end bar so it was to be expected and not super unreasonable. The drinks themselves are well thought out and delicious. I would recommend to go an hour before sunset and to dress up! This is a high end spot and I felt underdressed with a tank top and skirt. I did not get any food but there are some available and it looked amazing! Overall, I highly recommend going. They do not take reservations for small parties but we went on a Sunday and only waited maybe 5 minutes in the lobby.

This was a great experience and choice for rooftop bar. The wait was short and greeted professionally and escorted to rooftop with friendly server. The view was breathtaking and different experience while having a drink and just chatting up. We had the New York New York and espresso Martini then the Terrior old fashion and Jasmine sour.

Situated in Soho, this downtown Manhattan hotspot provides stunning views of the One World Trade Center and the surrounding area. The venue boasts both enclosed and open-air spaces, with the latter featuring a swimming pool.
A secret hidden gem. It's a little difficult to find but well worth it. The rooftop views are like none I've ever seen and seeing the twin tower lights from up high was very profound. It's a very cool environment with a pool and a DJ. Would highly recommend

Went pre dinner, to have cocktails to celebrate 32nd birthday. The most AMAZING views in 4 directions. Our waitress was beyond wonderful and the drinks delicious. Very attractive crowd, mixed ages, and fabulous music. My favorite rooftop bar downtown

Went for the first time in the day before dinner and the view was beautiful and especially the nice breeze we experienced outside while overlooking the sunset. It was very windy and I loved it. It’s not really my crowd, but the place looks really nice and clean and I love the views. I hope to experience it when there’s less people and it’s a little more quiet.

Last night in New York spent here, perfect way to end the trip. Sweeping views of the city and great music. There was a strong atmosphere from the beginning of the evening, with people dancing and singing to the DJ set. $20 door entry and drinks were expensive, but worth it for the views and atmosphere.

Awesome rooftop with great views of the city. Vibes were great and service was also great. I recommend coming during golden hour and getting the golden sunset cocktail for a relaxing & chill evening.

Views top tier. Great vibe. Bar back tried to take our drinks before we finished. Bartender was worse couldn't make drinks. It was a Sunday night so maybe that was the reason. Been here before other nights it was cool.

Great view from the rooftop. Perfect for a sunset drink with the DJ playing. Many tourists.

The Skylark - Rooftop Bar is a glamorous 30th-floor cocktail lounge and event space that offers breathtaking panoramic views of New York City. It's a favorite rooftop spot for many due to its incredible view of the Empire State Building, delicious drinks, and food options. The venue features both indoor and outdoor areas, making it suitable for visits in any season.
We needed to kill some time before the Lady Gaga show at MSG. It was a quick walk. The signage was great… You can’t miss it. The doorman behind the velvet rope was so so warm and welcoming! There is a smart-casual dress code, FYI. Follow the signs, take an elevator ride, climb a couple flights of stairs, and you are enjoying the NY skyline and Empire State Building view from the rooftop bar. Drinks were delicious and the view was spectacular. We didn’t order food. We didn’t feel rushed.
Cindy P — Google review
The Skylark offers truly stunning views of the Manhattan skyline — absolutely perfect for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or simply treating yourself. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the service was consistently attentive and professional. As for pricing, I won’t comment on whether it’s affordable or expensive — that’s always relative. But I will say that some of the appetisers and sides felt noticeably overpriced for the portion and quality delivered. That said, the overall atmosphere and view definitely make it a memorable place to visit. Would recommend for a special evening, especially if you’re after that classic New York City rooftop vibe. Price stated was for 4 drinks and 1 side
Tony G — Google review
Stunning views, but frustrating service The views from The Skylark rooftop are absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping panoramas of Midtown Manhattan — easily the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. Despite having a reservation for a birthday party and specifying the importance of rooftop outside seating, we were initially told that no outdoor reservations were available and were offered lounge seating instead. After much discussion, we were finally seated outside — only to notice reserved tables contradicting what staff had told us. Service at the tables is limited — you must order at the bar, and there is very little privacy as people crowd around to take photos, which can feel intrusive during special occasions. The 2 stars reflect the incredible views, but the service, reservation management, and overall experience were frustrating and poorly handled.
Amin S — Google review
I was genuinely excited when we arrived. The long, dimly lit hallway leading to the elevator created this mysterious, almost theatrical build-up. Unfortunately, that excitement vanished the moment we were seated at what was basically an end table jammed beside the service entrance. Every time a server pushed through the curtains no more than three inches behind my chair I felt a full gust of air. It didn’t even feel like a space meant to hold a dining table. I went back to the host stand and politely asked if we could be moved. They told me the only other options were high-top tables and that the couch-style seating was reserved for larger parties. That made sense to me at the time—there were only two of us, and we were more than happy to take a high-top just to get out of the service doorway. But then we sat there and watched multiple couples—just two people each—being seated on the couch-style section we were told was strictly for larger groups. Meanwhile, we waited another 30–35 minutes with no update and no attempt to move us. Nothing. At that point, we asked for the check and left. The only bright spot was Helen—she was fantastic, warm, and truly the highlight of an otherwise disappointing experience.
Ivanna C — Google review
Incredible views, service gave us plenty of time to enjoy them. Food was good; mostly paying for the view and th ambiance. Glad we had eaten slightly before as the bites were good, but more appetizers for sure. Drink menu was interesting and fun.
Justin H — Google review
Gorgeous spot! We were a group of five and didn’t have a reservation. They offered us a table indoors, but we were really hoping to sit out on the rooftop. We had to wait a bit, but it wasn’t bad at all—we spent the time snapping sunset pics and enjoying the view 😁📸 The cocktails were solid, and we got the mini burgers and fries—both hit the spot. That skyline view? Chef’s kiss. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into chill rooftop vibes with tasty bites and a killer sunset

Was there on a Monday, sat on table for two on high seats inside. View was amazing. Cocktails were great, and I did not expect much from the food, but it was also good! (Try the beef sliders) Had a great time.

Electric Lemon is a trendy restaurant located on the 24th floor of Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards. The chic rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the Hudson River and features its own herb garden, a reflective water feature, and impressive sculptures by artist Jaume Plensa. The menu focuses on veggie-forward dishes and crudos, with a wellness-centric approach to shareable plates and craft cocktails.
Great food. First time ever eating an entirely vegetarian meal and feeling satisfied. Drinks were good too. The main draw however is the ambiance including the fireplace inside as well as the outside terrace. Really top notch! Will definitely be back.
Brandon E — Google review
The ambiance and service were phenomenal. The view was gorgeous, and let's not forget the chić decor. We got mimosas, espresso martini, breakfast sammies, a burger, and crab cakes. The only thing I cared for was the amazing burger that was seasoned well and their crispy, double-coated fries. It was simply dressed but delicious.
Kamilia — Google review
I stopped by as a walk-in because I wanted to enjoy a rooftop. The interior was beautifully designed with a luxurious feel, and the sunset view was great. I ordered a glass of white wine, but it was a bit disappointing to see the pour was less than half for the price. Still, it’s a nice spot to come when you want to enjoy the atmosphere and the view.
Selina L — Google review
We chose Electric Lemon for a recent birthday celebration and it proved to be the perfect choice for a special occasion. Located conveniently right next to The Vessel, the restaurant boasts absolutely beautiful views that provide a spectacular, high-style backdrop for dinner. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the location. The dining room is vibrant and busy, filled with a lively buzz that makes the whole evening feel energetic and celebratory. We didn't discover the outside courtyard area until after dinner. It is absolutely beautiful, it's like you're in your own world. While the ambiance and service were excellent, the true highlight was the incredibly creative and delicious food. We fully expected the main courses to be top-tier, and they were—the steaks and pork chops were excellent and perfectly cooked. However, the real surprise was how Electric Lemon managed to make the vegetable sides and appetizers taste so unique and delicious. This is where the kitchen's creativity truly shines. The food is refreshingly inventive. A standout example was the Summer Squash appetizer, which was absolutely delightful. It featured a captivating mix of textures and flavors, including crunchy hazelnuts, fresh sprouts, and some sort of unexpected, complimentary puree. The combination of ingredients was so thoughtful and well-executed; every bite was a testament to how complex and satisfying vegetable dishes can be. This trend followed through with all the sides we ordered. If you are looking for a dinner spot with beautiful views and an element of refreshing culinary surprise, Electric Lemon is it. It’s a truly unique, delicious, and memorable experience.

Electric Lemon is truly an outstanding restaurant. From the moment you arrive, the service stands out — the staff is professional, friendly, and speaks multiple languages, anticipating your needs with remarkable attention to detail. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and perfect for couples, birthdays, special dates, or simply enjoying a meaningful evening with a breathtaking view. The food is exceptional — each dish is beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in flavor, texture, and creativity. You can truly feel the care and passion behind every plate. Electric Lemon deserves to be recognized among the best restaurants in New York City. A perfect place for anyone who appreciates fine dining, great service, and a peaceful yet sophisticated environment. Absolutely worth every visit.

Checked out the outdoor terrace area for a cocktail, burger and hamachi Friday after work to kick off the long weekend and was taken away by the amazing space and views. The burger was perfectly cooked medium just how it should be with cheesy goodness. The tequila cocktail was another standout, but it’s the decadence of the space itself that’s the true star. There was a bit of a breeze but so worth it.

Love electric lemon we come here for random occasions & important ones too! I think we have been around 6 times now since we have found it & I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal here. We love to switch up & get something different but I will always get their beef tartare 🥰
Sara K — Google review
We arrived at Electric Lemon around 8:50 PM and were surprised to hear the rooftop closes at 10 PM—pretty early for a NYC rooftop, especially on a beautiful night. When we arrived, the host told us there were no outdoor tables available, but we were welcome to sit at the bar. Once we went out to the terrace, we noticed plenty of empty tables. Needless to say we were very unhappy with the hosts and how the situation was handled. Thankfully, a kind waitress ended up seating us outside, and we really enjoyed our time. The views are great, and the ambiance is lovely. Just left wondering why they didn’t let us sit from the start. It just seemed unnecessarily complicated. Still, glad it worked out in the end.

Perched atop the Hendricks Hotel, Daintree Rooftop & Lounge is a chic destination offering an array of craft cocktails and elevated small plates. The vibrant decor, adorned with lush greenery, sets the stage for breathtaking skyline views. This swanky hotspot also hosts special events like New Year's Eve celebrations featuring a DJ, hors d'oeuvres, and a champagne toast against the backdrop of unobstructed Empire State Building vistas.
We had heard about this place on one of those 'best rooftop bars in NYC' lists. It didn't disappoint. Up in the lift we went, greeted by a friendly staff member who asked if we had a reservation, no we were just there for a drink. Unfortunately she didn't have any seats at the windows but we were welcome to sit on the roof terrace. That is why we came, don't you love it when a plan comes together! The roof terrace was small but perfectly formed. Luckily it was quiet - on a Friday night and we got a prime spot right in front of the Empire State Building. This is simply an epic view! The bar staff were friendly and efficient. We had a mixture of cocktails and wine between us, all of which were good, if a little pricey but with a view like this, you don't expect it to be cheap. We had a great few hours there and got chatting to other guests who began joining us on what was our own private terrace. As you can see from the photos, we timed our visit at just the right time to be able to catch the Empire State in all lights 😉 This bar should definitely be on your NY 'to go' list, even if it's just for a quick drink with a view.

Went for corp happy hour event, great catering, drink selection and quick bussing. The rooftop bar has good views of the Empire State building, alas other directions are obscured by adjacent midtown highrises. Good lounge to chill for an afterwork drink or two. Steak & salmon cooked beautifully.

Went on a weekday (Tuesday) after work to catch up with a friend visiting town. No wait, good drinks, and lovely views. Our server was lovely and even charged my phone. Didn’t order food, just drinks that I thought were refreshing and delicious It wasn’t too crowded or loud which is perfect for conversations with friends
Brenda M — Google review
We went to this place mainly for the rooftop, and I can confidently say it was the right choice. Even though it was a Friday night, it wasn’t too crowded, and the rooftop offers a direct, stunning view of the Empire State Building. The only downside was that the bar closed a bit earlier than expected — around 11 PM — so plan accordingly if you’re going later in the evening.
Nurdan K — Google review
A cute and not so obvious rooftop bar with a closed space (more cosy seating) and an open air bar (no frills and quite small) one stairs flight up. Great view of Emprise State Building. Happy hour cocktails are great and service is ok, may be a bit slow. Surprisingly delicious chicken nuggets, but fried shrimp too oily.
HANE X — Google review
This is a good roof top spot for after drinks work in Midtown Manhattan. They have a good selection of happy hour drinks and they have some good rooftop views. Get in early though or make sure you pre-book as the place is quite compact and can easily get busy.

This rooftop is more on the calm side you usually expect a livelier vibe from a rooftop, but it was super enjoyable with an incredible view of the Empire State Building. The cosmos were delicious, and the prices are reasonable compared to New York standards.

Had an event here and stayed at the hotel. The rooftop bar and pool are beautiful, with absolutely stunning views. The food was fantastic and the staff attentive. The pool lounge area is on the smaller side, but that’s standard for this area as it's hard to even find an outdoor pool. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’ll definitely be back! Rooms are all brand new and updated with filtered water tap in the room! They are small but also standard for the area. Very clean and the room feel larger with the huge windows. Amazing views for the upgraded room. Hotel staff was so accommodating and helpful. They also have a courtesy car to take you around. Great location near so many great places. Highly recommend, just pricey but standard for the area.

I had a disappointing experience at Harriet’s while hosting a farewell for a friend. We had a reservation for 8 and we were prepared to meet the min spend requirement ($75pp). The issue arose when two friends stopped by briefly with their baby to say goodbye, something I had proactively cleared with the hostess. However, when the parents sat with us at the existing table, the server announced they would be added to the minimum spend. I explained that I had already cleared it with the hostess downstairs. We would have been open to alternatives that met us halfway; instead, she then doubled down, claiming that since they had ordered a drink, they would be added to the minimum spend of $150/person (as it was after 4 pm). We were put in the uncomfortable position of asking the parents to leave with their baby shortly after they arrived, which felt unnecessarily cold and harsh. At one point, our server made a snide remark when we wanted to order some snacks, and towards the end, we were given a countdown to meet our spend, even though the venue was mostly empty (photo attached). It was clear the venue was singularly focused on making money. I understand policies exist, but there was a clear lack of empathy, especially toward parents with a baby and a group celebrating a special occasion. A bit of discretion would have gone a long way. I had originally wanted to raise these points privately, and I sent the venue and the GM emails and called the venue directly. Alas, only for my outreach to be completely ignored.

We went there for a small dinner party for 13 people...we had a wonderful time, delicious food and very good customer service. On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend a huge thank you to Bourbon Street for their incredibly generous and delicious donation to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala. They provided a large tray of seafood jambalaya with cornbread that was an absolute showstopper. The jambalaya was packed with bold, authentic Creole flavor and plenty of fresh, tender seafood. The cornbread was moist, slightly sweet, and the perfect complement to the spicy, savory jambalaya. It was a true taste of New Orleans that transported our guests and left everyone thoroughly impressed. It is because of amazing local businesses like Bourbon Street that we are able to successfully raise vital funds for our mission of supporting women in the New York community. Their commitment to giving back shows a deep dedication to supporting the community they serve, and it is exactly why I make a point to support businesses that care. We highly recommend Bourbon Street for their outstanding Cajun Creole cuisine and their tremendous generosity. Thank you for your kindness and for making our event an unforgettable success.

Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge is a rooftop cocktail bar located at the Moxy Times Square in New York City. It features an amusement park theme with attractions such as a mini-golf course and rotating carousel-style seating. The bar offers a unique experience with its topiary garden and nightly DJs, all while providing stunning views of the Empire State Building. This year, Magic Hour has introduced the Pink Rose Garden, adorned with over 10,000 roses and pink porch swings.
Magic Hour Rooftop is truly one of a kind! Such a beautiful spot with a stunning carousel decorated with flowers – it feels absolutely magical. The drinks are just wow, and I definitely recommend trying the cocktail bouquet, especially the biggest one – it’s an experience in itself. The food is very good, though the portions are on the smaller side, which is fine for this type of place. What I really love is how the vibe changes depending on where you sit: on one side it feels more like a lively lunch party with a DJ, and on the other side it’s romantic with a more intimate atmosphere. The DJ playing during my last visit was fantastic and really added to the night (@djkizzy) I’ve been here several times already, and everyone I’ve ever brought absolutely loved it. I’ll definitely keep coming back – highly recommend!

ONLY good for aesthetics. We had a terrible experience with this brunch. First of all, we called to ask if my friend could bring her daughter and were told YES, but then they refused to allow them in. However, I was already inside, and there were two little girls there. The terrace was extremely hot, no fans in the summer heat. The waiter got our order wrong, even though she wrote it down? And then we had a long wait because the kitchen was closed. The spritz bouquet is $75 for flat lukewarm seltzers. The menu says chicken Caesar salad, but I was charged $12 exra for like 3oz of chicken! Just not worth it overall, all flash no substance. Would only recommend for a drink and cute pics.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday and not too busy. The vibes are on point, beautiful atmosphere. Great for photo ops so make sure to dress cute. Floral scenery, mini moving carousel for siting and taking pictures. The chicken parm sliders were good but extremely small. The egg sandwich is good, did think it has a little too much small but still good and hash browns are extremely crispy. Waiter did forget my water after telling her 4 times but that’s ok. The pina colada drink was good but tasted more on the lemon side. Did sit on a high seat which was kinda uncomfortable. If I had a normal sitting table maybe my experience would be much better. Made a reservation on open table. Cool open rooftop area. Overall was a good brunch day for pictures. This is somewhere I came once and I’m good so won’t be coming back. Go for the vibes and the atmosphere. One and done experience.

The place is stunning — the food and atmosphere are truly five-star quality, and it’s clear that most of the staff work hard to make guests feel welcome. However, our experience at the bar didn’t match the same level of care. The bartender seemed distracted and lacked the empathy and attention one expects in such a highly rated venue. I came here with my wife to enjoy what’s known as one of the best rooftop spots in the city, and it’s a shame that one person’s attitude can affect an otherwise wonderful experience. This place has everything to be perfect if all staff shared the same level of professionalism as the rest of the team.

3.5 / 5.0 - Magic Hour Rooftop is conveniently located near Penn Station, on the 18F of Moxy NYC Times Square. The ambiance is great, with seasonal decorations and nice views of the Empire State Building and surrounds. Until Sep, they have a lovely Full Bloom display on the west terrace. The staff at reception were welcoming and helpful, too. However, our server was inattentive and too busy enjoying chatting with other staff to serve us. Both ordering and getting food and drinks took time. We’d made reservations and were seated at a table, but had to walk up to the bar to get utensils and ask other staff for the check. It’s such a cute spot it’s too bad the service level is so poor.

Came from San Francisco excited to try Magic Hour since it was on our NYC list. The vibe was okay, nothing too special, although seems like everyone was crazy about getting a picture on the center rotating table piece. Happy hour was a letdown with only 3 options (a beer, rosé wine, and a spritz), so we ended up ordering from the regular menu. Food was good and the music was fun. The hostess was quick to get us food, but when we were ready to leave it took forever to get our check—we noticed the same thing happening to the table next to us too. Overall, this is NOT a must-do NYC rooftop in my opinion.

Mr. Purple was a lot of fun! The rooftop view of the city was immaculate, and they had a great selection of music as well. The drinks were solid, and I enjoyed the overall vibe of Mr. Purple as a whole. Would recommend!

Went here for their new brunch experience last weekend and had a great time. Fun rooftop party vibes and a classic brunch menu Absolutely must get the Bagel with Lox featuring that beautiful tompkins square bagel and locally sourced smoked salmon. They have all the brunch cocktails or check out their perfect espresso martini. Great for a date or group brunch

Mr. Purple is a very nice and spacious rooftop restaurant and bar. I love the fact that they have a pool which was nice. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves at an event we attended here. I would definitely come back again.

This was our second visit to this property, both times at sunset, this time as hotel guests. The view is breathtaking, making it an ideal spot for sunset cocktails. However, regarding the food and cocktails, both are of low quality and do not meet our expectations. We had the worst Aperol Spritz we have had. Bartenders had no clue. Additionally, the bartender was arguing with a client over a card and tried to involve me in the discussion, which was very rude and inappropriate. We had one drink, enjoyed the fantastic view, and left. Many rooftop options, avoid this one.

This place in the summer is a vibe! Great view of the NYC skyline, live house music playing in the background and a pool that's open from 10am-5pm. Also shout-out to Alina who was our super attentive server.

Such an incredible spot! The views are incredible, the drinks are yum and the service is great. The pool is such a cool element. Perfect date night spot or brunch with friends!

I had an absolutely incredible time at this bar. The vibe is spot-on, and the view of the city is simply breathtaking. I like that there are windows all around so you can enjoy the view even from inside sitting at the bar. The sound system was great, and the music perfectly matched my mood. The service is quick and very attentive. Special shout out to Trey, Christian and Ben who made the night even more memorable. The rooftop pool was the cherry on top—a true hidden gem in the neighbourhood that you can’t miss if you’re visiting town. I can’t wait to return!

Ophelia Lounge NYC is a sophisticated rooftop lounge located on the 26th floor of the Beekman Tower. It features a 360-degree greenhouse terrace with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and the East River. The lounge offers an extensive cocktail menu and a selection of shareable plates and main dishes, including Ribeye. With its art deco design, Ophelia Lounge NYC provides a classic cocktail lounge ambiance from the 1920s.
Our experience at Ophelia’s lounge was amazing! Our friends just got married and we got almost every appetizer on the menu. Everything was delicious, especially the lobster Mac n cheese (everything got eaten too quick to picture). Favorite cocktails were the Purple Tuxedo (pictured) and the El Paso Old Fashioned! Service from Camila was very attentive and she made us feel super welcome, along with the entire staff! We’ve met bartender Ruben in the past and he was just as welcoming, with lots of knowledge on the complex cocktails and tasty food!

A beautiful historic spot with a stunning 360-degree view of the city and Long Island City. The atmosphere is often quiet, cozy, and even intimate — except on nights when it turns into a full-on disco. One time we came without a reservation and had to wait quite a while, but the manager Lana (Lena?) made sure we got our table in the end. The evening turned out perfect, and we left completely happy. I truly love this hidden gem among New York’s rooftop bars! ✨

This is definitely a place to experience for the view! Gorgeous scenic view of NY! 26th floor but feels like it’s much higher. The view is quite clear and perfect for great pictures! The “bites” are more for tasting, small but beautiful and quite tasty. Everything is well prepared and presented! The staff is attentive and friendly! Elizabeth is great! All the staff is very pleasant and polite. The drinks are quite tasty, although I do consider those are pricey. The portions were on the small side for the cocktails. Getting about four small plates for two would be about enough and you’ll get a good taste. The steak skewers I recommend and the duck spring rolls are also great! The croquettes are amazing but quite small. I do recommend this place, it’s always a better experience with great staff and a great view that they have.

Ophelia Lounge is a must visit rooftop, that offers stunning views, delicius food and drinks, and excellent service. Located in the Beekman Tower on 1st Avenue, Ophelia offers a perfect and picturesque view of Roosevelt Island and the Long Island City waterfront. The space offers 360 views in an extremely cozy setting, with the interior dining areas featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and the outdoor seating providing unobstructed views of the surrounding areas. To top off the experience, the food and cocktails are amazing and the service was excellent. I went for their amazing tower brunch option which is offered on Sundays from 12 to 4PM. The tower brunch option gives a tiered towers of several items which can serve for 2 or 3 persons, and they offer 4 options ranging from $49/person to $79/person. Every single item on the tower was delicious and well worth the money. They also currently have a great restaurant week menu available, which I intend to try as soon as possible!

Great views for sure with quiet and romantic seating. The service was but slow and hard to track waitress down for drinks etc. The food was decent and went during restaurant week so able to try a few different things.. the watermelon and burrata was amazing. Scallops were good as well.

We had the absolute BEST night celebrating my friend’s bachelorette at Ophelia! The rooftop views were breathtaking, but what truly made the night unforgettable was Eduardo. From start to finish, his energy, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond. He made sure our group felt celebrated, kept the vibes fun and classy, and even showed us the most amazing spot on the rooftop for pictures (and they turned out stunning!). Eduardo made the entire experience feel special — it honestly wouldn’t have been the same without him. If you’re visiting Ophelia, ask for Eduardo — he’ll make sure your night is one to remember! 💫🍸✨

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Ophelia! The bar has a stunning rooftop with breathtaking views of Manhattan — the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail and take in the skyline. A special shoutout to Anibal-Iram, our waiter, who made the night even better. His recommendations were spot on — he clearly knows the cocktail menu inside out and helped us choose some truly amazing drinks. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, the service impeccable, and the drinks unforgettable. Highly recommend Ophelia for anyone looking for a memorable rooftop experience in New York City!

This is a truly delightful place to have drinks, celebrate a birthday, catch a spectacular view of the New York City skyline, or simply chill out. Everything turns out as wished for, the service is very attentive, the food is inspiring. I used a misleading or fraudulent offer from the inkind app for $50 off $150. We spent upward of $250 inkind used every excuse possible not to honor the offer. All were ludicrous and insult my intelligence: my bank has not approved the transaction; I have a new address; there was a typo in my card number; they reached out to American Express and found out there was a problem with the payment (I do not have AMEX). All in all, a waste of much time and energy to deal with people who acted in bad faith. A sorry excuse for an App

A great rooftop bar that stands out because of the many plants. The photos speak for themselves. We spent a great evening there. The food was also good, although not great. Definitely an absolute recommendation

Considering the price point and the portion, the food and drinks were average and didn’t particularly impress me. However what made the experience unique was the ambience and decor of this place. The speakeasy-style entrance and the rooftop seating with outdoor heaters was stunning. Staffs were attentive and friendly. make reservation in advance and bring ID to be allowed in even you are just having meal without alcohol. They examine carefully at the entrance.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar The building is steeped in history and the quirky decor and music make this venue memorable. I went with a friend, however there are some simply stunning tables and booths in old railway style out buildings. There are picturesque walkways and whole walls with plants to take photos! I loved the food - I recommend the crudités for a healthy huge starter and the salmon was super tasty and cooked to perfection Service was fast and friendly

The space is really unique and beautiful, there were so many beautiful trees and plants and the music was nice and relaxing. The food was great! We had the calamari and chicken. We also had the steak but that was just okay. The drinks were nice as well, so many unique flavours and the presentation on everything was beautiful! Overall, would highly recommend this place!

Lovely place for hangout and to chill. Located on a 6th floor as part of a hotel/theatre complex. Lot of effort on the decor which is appreciated. The food and drinks menu was simple not complicated but little pricey. Loved the jazz music in the background. Reservation is recommended.

Recommend making reservations since it can get pretty busy! It's a roof top with okay views, but great for groups if you are looking for brunch! The drinks are well made and some are super aesthetic! The namesake Gallow Green is my fave. If you like a robust ginger taste then give it a try!

Serendipitously ended up at Gallow Green after an evening in Hudson Yards. It was a beautiful rooftop and such a cool set up, I was so happy to find it because it led me to an evening at the McKittrick Hotel the following day, which my friend had suggested I check out. I had the shrimp cocktail and the gallow green salad. The shrimp were large and worth the price, and the salad I expected to be alright but the flavors worked together deliciously. It had been raining that evening and afternoon but the rooftop was lovely and my server was great even thought I arrived very late in the evening. The back door elevator was so fun, the entire experience was excellent.

Went for their Champagne Brunch yesterday for a friend's birthday. Loved the vibe and overall concept. We were a big group but service was fantastic so special shout out to Gigi for being wonderful and attentive with the little things we needed, was easy to coordinate the birthday cake for the celebrant. There was also music so it was pretty relaxing and nice. The buffet spread wasn't really big but had some nice options. I especially liked the Porcheta and the salmon (first time to see a proper whole baked salmon, pretty cool!). The champagne was unlimited and was actually a proper Californian champagne so they didn't really go cheap and thus I felt it justified the overall cost. I'm a champagne drinker so didn't need the juices to mix with champagne but you practically have all other juices to mix aside from the standard orange juice. The 2 hours went by quick and we were reminded 15 mins before they closed out the buffet. Was able to then try the croissants and pain au chocolat which were actually pretty good. We also ordered the chocolate mousse, key lime pie and Panna cotta for desserts for the birthday girl and our table and it was pretty decent. Overall areas for improvement would be timeliness of the table. I think we only got it 15 mins after. The food temperature is also an area of opportunity. It was noticeably not warm. And everytime I wanted to finally try the french toast, it was out. Happened 3 times and didn't get to try it which isn't a deal breaker but I'd be remiss if I don't get to point this out for improvement. Still, I won't mind coming back. :)

Dear Irving was a really nice experience overall. The ambience and view were top notch. The food was super tasty, big kudos to the chef. I did find it a little pricey though… for example, $15 for just four tiny goat cheese croquettes felt a bit much (see picture). Drinks were amazing, every round we ordered had the same quality, so big respect to the bartender. Service could be better, it was a bit slow and sometimes we had to wait too long for the server to check in, or even get up and look for someone. Still, great spot with great vibes. We’ll be back again.

Dear Irving on Hudson Rooftop is the perfect spot for city views, good vibes, and great cocktails. The atmosphere is lively, especially around sunset, and the skyline views are unbeatable. Whether one’s looking to get those perfect Instagrammable city skylines or a drink with friends or colleagues under the sun, rooftop bars are a warm-weather must in Gotham. They are popular. So don’t expect a quiet, intimate evening. The crowds can sometimes take away from the relaxing vibe, but hey, it’s New York, and there’s always something to look at. Located on the 40th floor inside the Aliz Hotel, my company hosted a milestone celebrating 30 years in the US and 20 years in the UK at Dear Irving On Hudson yesterday. Reservation is highly recommended. Upon arrival by elevator, guests were treated with a glass of champagne in a small, lively, and welcoming 007-themed interior with classy speakeasy-style lounge chairs and couches. A selected menu with choices of unique cocktails, beer, wine, and other mixed drinks were offered as well as trays of appetizers, i.e., Chicken Empanadas, Sliders, Tuna, and Falafel Balls being passed around by the staff. We also had catered food consisting of Filet Mignon, Salmon and Pasta. For entertainment, Dan played magic on the guitar and set up photo booth to make this event memorable. The two small outdoor balconies with some seating provided a panoramic view of the surrounding cityscape, deemed breathtaking, of the Empire State Building, One World Trade, Hudson Yards, the Chrysler Building, the Statue of Liberty, and a gorgeous sunset. Huge thank you to the staff at Dear Irving On Hudson, especially Edwin, Stafford, and Lisa, for making our experience enjoyable. As first-timers, all boxes were checked with the view, the ambiance, the drinks, and the bites, which we could recommend.

Night of Joy is a charming rooftop bar located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The bar is filled with antique decor and offers a laid-back ambiance for visitors to enjoy. The rooftop patio is a popular spot, especially during the spring through fall seasons. Additionally, the bar features a frozen margarita machine for those looking for something more casual.
Great bar ! The atmosphere is amazing and full of history. I went there quite early, around 6pm, but there were some people. I had a great time just seating and enjoying my cocktail. The service and the staff were great as well. I will definitely come back ! Especially for the rooftop terrace.

Overall rating: 4.8 1 drink: $18.88 w/ tip I came here on a whim after going to a very pretentious bar & a terrible date. So happy I stumbled here because it was exactly what I needed. I came late and just came for cocktail & it was really dark. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the vibe of the place. I don’t have many pictures but will definitely be putting this place on favorites if I’m in the area again. I also love how dimly lit it is! Highly recommend.

Came here for a birthday party and the atmosphere of the bar is great but the drinks are laughably weak. I wouldn’t be upset about it if the cocktails didn’t cost almost $20. I was there with 30+ people and multiple at the birthday at some point commented about how weak even the speciality cocktails were. Really liked the way the place looked but it made me feel stupid to spend $60 on 3 cocktails that tasted like flavored ice. Ended up getting a beer at the end so i could drink something that wasn’t watered down. Super disappointing.

One of the best cocktail bars in Williamsburg! If you go on a weeknight, it’s usually quiet and a great spot for a date (lovely interior and a dimly lit room with candles on each table downstairs). If you go on a Friday / Saturday night, the atmosphere is much more vibrant and it gets crowded. The rooftop is awesome and I’ve yet to order a cocktail at Night Of Joy that I don’t like :)

Nestled on the rooftop of Flushing's Hyatt Place hotel, Leaf Bar & Lounge is a chic and upscale venue offering craft cocktails, Taiwanese small plates, and stunning views. The menu features a variety of appetizers to suit all tastes, including Sichuan chili oil dumplings, edamame, and chicken wings.
I came here with a few friends for their happy hour deals on drinks, and we had a great time. Our server, Yula, was amazing—super attentive, especially considering we ordered every food item on the menu. She made sure we had plenty of space to share everything while still enjoying each other’s company. My favorite dish was the spicy beef noodle soup—authentic, bold, and full of flavor. The drinks were also carefully crafted with unique flavors. I loved the Hellcat—each sip packed a spicy kick but stayed refreshing thanks to the cucumber. The Yamagucci was another hit—citrusy from the yuzu and incredibly easy to drink. Overall, I was really impressed with this rooftop bar. From Yula’s attentive service to the shareable plates and elevated vibe, I’d definitely come back again.

Few establishments could aspire to the Leaf Bar & Lounge’s mastery of making guests feel unwelcome, blending rudeness and hostility as a form of guest service. The Leaf Bar & Lounge was THE reason we booked at the Hyatt. The plan was to have a dinner at Ju Qi, then relax with drinks on the rooftop. We had dinner at Ju Qi, then headed to the rooftop for a pleasant time and great view of New York. When we got to the Leaf Bar & Lounge; there is a sign to wait to be seated, so we waited for a hostess. When we were finally approached, the staff member was not able to converse in English. We asked to be seated with a view of the skyline. She did not understand; after trying to explain with hand signals and gestures the desire to sit outside to see the skyline, she responded in a rude tone “we not Hyatt, must buy”. We tried to explain we wanted drinks, but also a view of the skyline, but she ushered us into some corner outside balcony with a “great view” of what appeared to be the least impressive view in New York of some projects apartments. Did not bother to ask what we wanted to drink and left us there. We decided to go downstairs to the Hyatt lobby that has a tiny bar setup and got some basic drinks to take back to the room.
Arcxet — Google review
This place has gone downhill in many ways, I have been here a few times over the last year. The food is just okay(depending on the day, it’s overcooked), the ambiance is corny looking and dusty, tables look old and have that old table sticky feeling to them, and the employees/ service is just..debatable. The female who appears to be the manager looks strung out and is rude to her employees. The older female server with short black hair and glasses is incredibly rude and sharp with her words when you ask a question, makes for an unpleasant dining experience. The bartenders are great and make great drinks, and the girl with glasses and red hair in the front was such a delight. This place is only slightly popular because it’s a rooftop and has good drinks. If you don’t care for a rooftop but want good drinks, I recommend IYKYK or The Attic.

The New York skyline glittered like a spilled box of diamonds, stretching endlessly around us as we celebrated my partner's birthday at Bar Blondeau. Perched high above the city, the rooftop bar felt like our own private oasis. The air was warm and vibrant, filled with a soft hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses. We settled into plush seats, the city lights twinkling below, and ordered our first round of amazing cocktails. Mine was a smoky concoction with a hint of citrus, while yours was a vibrant, fruity delight. Each sip was perfection, a burst of flavor that complemented the breathtaking views. We talked and laughed, the energy of New York seeming to infuse our conversation. It was a truly perfect night, a beautiful memory etched against the backdrop of an unforgettable cityscape.

Bar Blondeau is a bar located in Williamsburg, known for its stunning views and cozy atmosphere. The ambiance is quite romantic, with comfortable seating, making it a great spot for a date! When making a reservation, I recommend requesting a window seat for the best view—it really elevates the overall experience. The cocktails, in my opinion, are underwhelming, lacking creativity and uniqueness, so they’re not the highlight here. However, the food surprisingly stands out. The small plates are worth trying, especially the smoked salmon toast, chicken toast, and burrata. The steak, though, is just average. There’s a Happy Hour during weekdays, but it’s only available at the bar seats.

Had such an incredible Sunday with Bar Blondeau's teatime experience. They had a great selection of bites, the scones were delicious, and the selected tea pairing worked just perfectly. The view is also beautiful overlooking the skyline, overall experience 10/10

It features a spacious rooftop garden, known as the largest in NYC, where visitors can enjoy global bites and brunch while taking in unparalleled views. The bar also boasts a lively party scene with live music and serves classic and specialty cocktails, including alcoholic hot chocolate.
My sister and I enjoyed a refreshment at the 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar, on a beautiful late September day. The view was terrific with the Empire State Building directly in front of us, and it's surrounding buildings that are modern and so very cool. Service is order yourself at the outside bar, choose a table and relax. We did not try any food. Plants and flowers were all around, a very nice atmosphere to enjoy.

We love the place the rooftop is very nice with spectacular views of NY, the cocktaiks and the appetizers are good. But the food have a poor variety. For the appetizers: We like the nachos and the hummus. But we don't like the pasta, the fish and chips and the chicken fingers and chips. The only food is ok is the steak and fríes. I would recommend to visit because the rooftop is a good experience to see NY and they have a good music to drink and eat appetizers but not to eat dinner.

In my opinion the drinks here were average, but the food I did smell, did smell good. I really liked all the decorations they put up for Halloween, definitely made it a nice touch. Bar tenders were good with questions and the rest of the staff was friendly. The highlight of this rooftop, was definitely the views, even in the fog, still beautiful. Bathrooms were small, but clean.

View: 5/5 — Absolutely stunning skyline, especially at sunset. You get a full, unobstructed view of the Empire State Building — easily one of the best rooftop views in the city. Drinks: 4.5/5 — Cocktails are solid, well-made, and served fast considering how busy it gets. Prices are typical for NYC rooftops, but the presentation and flavor make it worth it. Food: 4/5 — The bar bites are good for sharing — sliders and fries came out hot, and the flatbread was surprisingly tasty. Nothing mind-blowing, but perfect for a casual night out. Service: 4.5/5 — Staff handled the crowd well and were polite even during rush hours. Security check was quick, and the host at the entrance was friendly. Ambiance: 5/5 — Great vibe — chill music, cozy seating, and those heated igloos in the colder months make it special. Perfect spot for friends, dates, or out-of-town guests. Overall: 4.5/5 — A classic NYC rooftop experience. Go for the view, stay for the atmosphere. Pro tip: arrive before sunset to snag the best spot and skip the later-night crowd.

Found this place on social media. It's quirky, but with the best views of the city and the Empire State Building. Food wasn't served until 4pm sadly, and there was no Rose wine (or hot drinks) despite the menu. Settled for 3 slices of pizza, a coke, beer and white wine hence 4 stars. Was a lovely hour, just a bit disappointed that we couldnt have the food we hoped for at the time we were there.

The view from 230 Fifth is truly hard to beat — few places in Manhattan offer such a spectacular, open view of the Empire State Building, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is undeniably vibrant: music, city lights, and that sense of being on top of New York. The rooftop has a certain magic that makes it a great spot to bring friends or visitors to the city. That said, the service could definitely be improved. When I visited, it was cloudy, and the staff seemed disorganized and a bit rude while giving instructions about whether guests could stay on the rooftop or had to move downstairs. The inconsistency made the experience a bit stressful, which is a shame considering how iconic the venue is. Drinks were decent but not exceptional for the price, and given the reputation of the place, I expected a warmer, more professional approach from the team. Still, if you’re in New York and want a rooftop experience with incredible views, it’s worth visiting once — just go with patience and don’t expect flawless service.
Miguel D — Google review
One of my all-time favorite bars. Nothing has changed in the last ten years, and it still has the best view of the Empire State Building. I love the dumplings there, the drinks are always solid, and the dance floor is a lot of fun. It’s one of those places that never disappoints and always feels lively and welcoming.

Berry Park, located in Williamsburg, offers a unique combination of a sports bar and a trendy rooftop space. The bar is known for its European beer selection and expansive rooftop area where patrons can enjoy watching soccer games on the big screen. With its proximity to McCarren Park, it tends to attract large crowds, making it advisable to arrive early to secure a spot on the coveted rooftop.
Great spot and very accommodating. I've been a couple times. The upstairs has a DJ and the downstairs is more of a bar scene. I've ordered apps and the food is good, nothing to rave about. The staff is really nice and accommodating. They have a nice rooftop for the warmer weather too.

Berry Park is an expansive, lively spot with both a spacious downstairs area and a stunning rooftop. Downstairs feels like a classic sports bar, while the rooftop offers a vibrant, scenic atmosphere with great music. The food is solid, with generous portions that won't disappoint. Whether you're there for a game or just to soak up the rooftop vibes, the energy here is always on point!
Jamie L — Google review
My visit to Berry Park did not really impress by any means. They have a nice first floor with a main bar and seating all around with big screens that were playing a soccer match for fans to enjoy. They were also serving food which mainly seemed like a pub-style menu. The rooftop was small and packed with so many people that there was barely room to stand. And if you wanted a drink, forget about it because there was no way you were reaching the bar in that sea full of people. There is also no view at all. This rooftop is covered by taller buildings, so the only thing you can really see are the streets down below. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was the security guard standing at the front door. He left me and my friend with rude comments and was telling us to spend more money in there (as if he knew what we did or did not order inside). He also told us that the bathroom was for customers only as if we had spent 5 minutes in there and left. Sir, we were there for an hour and we did not even use the bathroom lol. Honestly this place is mediocre at best and there are so many better places around it such as Westlight, Water Tower, and Bar Blondeau. 3/5 stars.

The perfect summer rooftop day drinking escape right off of mccaren park with some nice views of the manhattan skyline. The space upstairs is great but forewarning that it can get hellaaaaaa crowded like around 5pm that rooftop was so condensed I was honestly impressed by how many people fit up there. This was my first time seeing spritzes cost more than the cocktail menu but nevertheless I got a hugo spritz and it was so refreshing I loved it.

Great place to hang out, they have a nice place ground floor but it’s better to hang out at the rooftop. Staff were great although they don’t do table service, have to order and get everything at the bar. And the food menu options are very low, It would be nice if they had more options to pick from. And prices are pretty low for a nice rooftop bar and restaurant

1st time visit - Mayoral Debate Watch party. Nice vibe. Spacious. Variety of seating options. Wasn't going to eat or drink but others food looked so good had to try it myself. Had the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. So, so good. Nice amount of spice and kick to make the chicken sandwich special. Fries were hot, crispy golden outside, soft inside. Didn't get alcohol but will next time. They have some beer options want to try.

This place is absolutely amazing. My first visit to Barry Park was nothing short of impressive. What caught my attention initially was the breathtaking view, which sets the perfect ambiance. The food is remarkable – the shrimp is fiery and flavorful, while the wings hit just the right spot with their on-point seasoning. The drinks are well-crafted; though they could pack a bit more punch in terms of alcohol content, I believe this subtlety is actually a plus. An added bonus is the absence of a cover charge, making it an even more appealing destination. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Five stars all the way!

The ambiance is enhanced by soft candlelight and glowing decor, creating an inviting atmosphere to savor delectable dishes like Prime Tagliata New York Strip Steak paired with their signature Skyline cocktail.
Ambiance was amazing, food was great, and great service. Served was super kind. We went during sunset time and stayed until like 10PM. The city looked absolutely beautiful. Just the views themselves are worth it. Recommend to go during sunset-evening times. Food was also better than I expected. I got lamb chops and my boyfriend got steak. It was perfectly medium rare and well seasoned. Overall appetizer, entree, and dessert were great.

Visited this spot back in March for a friend’s birthday — it was a last-minute choice, and luckily, getting a late-night reservation on a cold winter evening was easy. The place was pretty empty when we arrived, which wasn’t surprising given the weather. I’ve heard it gets much busier during the summer, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to go during peak season. The venue itself is cute — definitely the kind of place that works well for casual drinks with friends. But as far as the food goes, I was really disappointed. There were a few of us, so we sampled a range of dishes, and unfortunately, almost everything missed the mark. Even the guacamole tasted store-bought rather than freshly made. I had higher hopes for this place, but based on the food quality, I wouldn’t go back for a meal. Maybe just drinks next time — if at all.
Nissa M — Google review
Amazing views, especially during the sunset. A bit pricey, the drinks really rack up the bill. The lobster Mac and cheese was outstanding. Definitely worth coming here for the view itself. The tables are very close together because it’s on a small rooftop so expect to hear other peoples conversations.

This place had a great view and vibe. Unfortunately the food was more miss than hit and the drinks (2) felt like I drank two cotton candy coca-colas (liquor??) but the people were nice and the manager was great! Will try it again.

Went here for my girlfriend’s birthday. Beautiful view of the city, music and atmosphere was good. Lobster pasta was good, nothing crazy but good. Carbonara is really a hidden gem tho, probably best I’ve had. Service was good, white lady with black/blonde hair tho was amazing. She was welcoming, really had a warm inviting presence. She walked around and made sure everyone was okay. She even helped with a last minute birthday request. Our main waitress who looked Spanish, (slight tan, all black hair) was okay, didn’t really give off a friendly vibe . She wasn’t rude or mean but just didn’t feel approachable. She was professional tho. Overall experience was a 10/10, great place for dinner with a view. P.s. Ocean blue drink was delicious! Taste like pina colada 😋 really enjoyed it 🍹

The vibrant atmosphere makes it perfect for casual drinks, full dinners, brunch with a view or a lively night out.
The food was fresh and had great flavors. I ordered the blueberry French and what they brought to the table was a work of art. From the presentation to the flavor it was exceptional. We had a reservation at 11 am but it was not crowded for a Saturday brunch time. And the solstice drink was delicious. Definitely a must try.

I'm so happy we made a reservation for brunch. It looked so cute from the outside (we could see the restaurant from our hotel) and it was. It's of course on a rooftop, with pops of color from the flowers sprinkled throughout for decoration. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros based off the our server's recommendation and I'm glad I did. It had a nice healthy portion of avocado and the sauce was full of flavor. My friend had the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich which she liked but thought was kind of plain. But what stood out the most was the service. Our waitress Pandora was amazing from start to finish. As were all the other helping staff. The bottomless mimosas for brunch were definitely worth the price.

I stopped by over the weekend since it was really a nice rooftop bar kind of day. I made a reservation, but it looks like they accept walk ins as well for dining. The restaurant itself is quite lovely and the views are stunning. The staff here is very welcoming and Erik, my server was very friendly and helpful. The brunch menu is very limited, but they had some good items. I opted for the Shrimp Cocktail and Sliders and everything was good. I just wished that the sliders would have come with a little side order of fries. The food is a bit pricey here, but that is to be expected in this area. Overall, whether you are staying in the hotel or just passing by like I did, this is a nice spot to grab a quick meal or sit at the bar for a drink or two.

Le Bain, perched atop the iconic Standard Hotel in Manhattan's Meatpacking District, is a vibrant rooftop destination that promises an unforgettable experience. This lively venue features a disco and bar with stunning 18th-floor views of the Hudson River and the Empire State Building. With its state-of-the-art sound system, guests can dance to beats spun by renowned DJs while enjoying refreshing cocktails. The seasonal plunge pool adds an enticing touch for those looking to cool off after hitting the dance floor.
I really like Le Bain! It’s a fun bar and nightclub, and they even have a Jacuzzi. My friends went last night before Memorial Day and were actually swimming in it there were big balloons, great music, and a fun crowd. The drinks were nice too. I haven’t tried the food yet, but I bet it’s good. The view is amazing, and everyone was really friendly. I’d definitely go back. Since I live in Manhattan, it’s super easy to get to. 🔥

Lovely terrace to watch the sunset! After a few drinks you can come down yo the club area and enjoy the live dj music while you’re on the dance floor. The club has a pool inside so it’s kinda eccentric but unique about its atmosphere. The view from the terrace it’s amazing! Definitely a summer must visit spot!

Rude staff, door person, yes the blond one. Over the top "we're so exclusive vibe" rude attitude but it was actually not at all. There's a little hot tub reeking of chlorine as you down your vodka, while staff try to find more ways to exclude and mistreat you. Views were SPECTACULAR! Music was house, and great DJ, so atmosphere was good, everyone dancing, a younger crowd though. We just happened to be there because friends were staying at hotel. Door person wanted to see a key for each person - seriously. Drinks were very watered down. Had a great time because with friends and good music, but would never come back. Lots of great venues in NYC without rude staff and management.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a club. Even if you get in, the drink prices are outrageous and the venue is lame. All they have is decent restrooms. A weird hot tub. And good views of Lower Manhattan. But the drama at the front door is not worth it: I thought this club was okay, until I got rejected for entry for no reason. I visited this club many times before. But in Nov 2025, they let my entire group in, but not me and refused to give me a reason. They were so disrespectful that all of my friends left this venue along with me. Idk how they can stay in business while treating their customers with so much disrespect. People who go clubbing generally spend a lot of money. Nobody deserves racial or disrespect. There are better places to have a good time with n NYC..

Racist establishment. I’ve had better experiences here many times. But on Nov 01 2025, I came here and I got a racist bouncer who wouldn’t let me in no matter what. I’ve never experienced such racism in my life. She let my friends enter the club but not me. They let 4/5 people in my group in but not me. One of the female bouncers refused to let me in no matter what. They refused to give any reason. All of my friends and me ended up leaving the venue. I’ve never had such a hostile experience at a club. I’m there to spend money. To treat your customers in such a way is disrespectful. Your drinks are overpriced and the view of Manhattan isn’t unique to this venue anyways. I can’t believe I would not be let in as a frequent customer on Halloween and be shown such racism and contempt. I’m glad I didn’t spend more money here. Good luck to others who decide to patronize this place. I wouldn’t recommend it. Don’t patronize racist establishments. I’m from South India and I’ve traveled a lot, but I’ve never experienced such treatment anywhere in the world. Racism is not okay.

Nubeluz, a modern cocktail spot located at 25 West 28th Street, offers a mix of classic and signature drinks with a unique twist. The Salt Air Margarita made with Milagro blanco tequila, Combier orange, lime, and salt air is a must-try. It's an ideal place for parties or enjoying fancy drinks with an impressive cocktail list.
Nubeluz is one of my favorite rooftop bars in the city. It’s centrally located on top of the Ritz-Carlton New York, Nomad, with incredible views of the city, both from indoors and outdoors. The outdoor space isn’t large, but you have amazing views of the Empire State Building, as well as downtown Manhattan. On a clear day, you can see the beautiful sunset and even the moon, when it’s visible. The food and drinks are not inexpensive, but they’re good and you are here for the atmosphere and views. It can get a bit loud and busy at night, especially on weekends. But it does have an upscale atmosphere and vibe, and is the perfect place to impress a date.
Sawako Y — Google review
Nubeluz is an absolutely gorgeous rooftop lounge that offers one of the most spectacular views in New York City. You can see the Empire State Building right next to you, lit up in all its glory, along with the dazzling lights of Manhattan stretching out in every direction. The atmosphere is chic yet welcoming, making it perfect for a special night out. Cocktails range from $25 to $30, and while that may sound steep, they are worth every penny for the quality, creativity, and presentation. I tried the Melon Cloud ☁️ cocktail, which was not only delicious but also an experience — the bartender made it extra fun by adding a dramatic swirl of smoke from dry ice, creating a magical moment. The service was attentive, and the energy of the place made the night unforgettable. If you’re visiting NYC or live here and haven’t been yet, Nubeluz is a must-see destination.

This is one of my top 3 favorite NYC rooftop bars. The ambiance and service are excellent and special shout-out to Drew who made the experience perfect by recommending the best cocktails tailored to our likes We love that attention to detail and it was worth it. There is truly no place that can compete with the breathtaking views of Nubeluz. The atmosphere is beyond stunning, and the experience left such a lasting impression on my trip to New York. A very special thank you to our hostess, Sultane — she was kind, professional, and an amazing guide. I told her I would never forget her, and I truly mean it. Even though I only had drinks here, Nubeluz made my trip unforgettable. Honestly, New York is one thing, but Nubeluz is another level entirely!

We visited for afternoon tea for two and, sadly, it fell short of expectations. The staff were lovely and the view breathtaking, but the portions were tiny, the desserts uninspired and not good, and the service lacked refinement (chipped glass, no saucer for teabags, only one tea choice). At $260 - without wine or champagne - the experience feels more about the view than the tea itself — disappointing for anyone who appreciates a truly elevated afternoon tea.

Stopped in for a bite to eat, before a show at the Town Hall to see Celeste Barber. My sister, and BF were welcomed and we sat in several different areas to get a good feel for the environment and to see views of Manhattan. We were not disappointed, the staff, food, drinks, cleanliness and the overall rooftop bar was awesome. We go to as many as we can while visiting from NJ, and Castell Rooftop Lounge is one of the very best. Great Happy Hour menu, and comfortable sitting.

Cool bar roughly 20 stories high with decent views and outdoor covered and heated area. They did ask for a minimum spend for a group reservation but it was reasonable for the number of people and pretty standard ordering. Overall thought it was just ok. For starters the “oven” was broken so our menu was limited to only a handful of cold plates (and somehow the al pastor tacos too). They were all good but portions were a little small and tough for sharing. Drinks menu was great and I thought prices reasonable. If they had more menu items available I’d give a 4th star but was a little disappointed with limited offerings due to the oven issue.

Decor of the place is top notch and pretty solid views on the patio deck. Prices are naturally what you’d expect but drinks were good quality. Happy hour is significantly cheaper. Main disappointment was the relatively small selection (and in particular variety) of house cocktails in the menu considering its a rooftop bar establishment

Castell Rooftop Lounge is a Midtown gem! We stopped by for after-work drinks and loved everything about it — great happy hour, an impressive cocktail list, and an atmosphere that feels both upscale and effortlessly relaxed. The views are great — you get to enjoy the city skyline without the chaos of Times Square below. Even when a thunderstorm rolled in, we stayed perfectly dry under the covered terrace while watching the rain, which made the evening even more special. Of course, here's the revised review with all em dashes removed: --- I'm only reviewing based on my experience going there at 5pm on a Tuesday. I had read some reviews saying it gets too crowded, but that wasn’t the case during my visit. I walked in and got a seat at the bar immediately, and there was also plenty of seating available on the beautiful outdoor patio. The vibe was relaxed and not too loud, which made it a great happy hour spot. The happy hour deals (from 4 to 6pm daily) are excellent. Cocktails were really well-balanced, not too sweet, and fairly priced for NYC. Guac and chips and burger were both excellent!! Service was great too. Friendly, quick, and easygoing. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. I’d definitely come back again, especially during that sweet spot before the after-work rush hits.

Had a group of 10 here and it was great! Came Saturday during the happy hour time-frame. Drinks were great and service was friendly. Would definitely recommend as a nice rooftop in nyc.

Amazing rooftop. Went in a rainy and gloomy Saturday night but it was super cool still. Really nice cocktails, good little bar bites as well. If you’re in this neck of the woods and want a rooftop, this is a great one for that!

Great views and even better drinks. Service was friendly and helpful from the host to the server taking orders tableside.

Decent place to get a drink, to many wires to get decent photos … average rooftop in our opinion nothing that makes you say I gotta go there again.

Great happy hour, not too crowded, gorgeous heated outdoor rooftop seating area. Great for a date or happy hour! ☺️
Montez N — Google review
Awesome rooftop bar. The bartender, drinks, and snacks were great! My only complaint is that the host gave us a hard time about not having a reservation (7pm on a Fri night) to go to the bar. I was under the impression it was standing only for no reservations, however the bartender told us seating is available first-come-first serve outdoors. We got a small table no problem, so I am not really sure why the host gave us attitude. It was great after we passed through the not so welcoming hosts!

The Highlight Room is a chic rooftop bar located at Moxy Lower East Side in New York City. It offers a glamorous setting with lush foliage and trees, providing a 19th-century garden ambiance. Situated 16 stories above the Lower East Side, it boasts stunning views of the bridges and the Empire State Building. The rooftop bar is an all-season destination, featuring a heated back patio that remains open even on colder nights.
It’s beautiful in here! I came on a Tuesday night for their happy hour which is from 5-9pm - a perfect time frame happy hour in the city. Our server was accommodating, the drinks were good but the atmosphere was the best part! The interior is gorgeous & the view at sunset is 10/10. The music selection is very nice as well good mix of all genres. I didn’t have their food but the options looked great.

Such a great spot to grab a drink with a view! I went for happy hour and had a really good prosecco for just $5, such a great deal in NYC. The vibe is cool and relaxed, and the view over the city is stunning. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the skyline. Highly recommend!

Chill rooftop lounge. Great happy hour (even though we arrived after sunset). Nice music. Reaervations recommended. Will def return. Sep 2025

Really amazing spot for a pregame simple, and enjoy their daily happy hour. Very nice vibes for a rooftop and a beautiful view of the city. Love their Martini flights, really nice deal!

It’s a cool vibe. The drinks are good. I went on a Monday for a small corporate event. All the drinks were solid. Nice space for a ~25 person event on a weekday.

Nice place to have a drink with a view on Manhattan. Drinks are good but a little bit on the expensive side. The view is phenomenal, especially when you are not from NYC. Would recommend for people who want to have a good drink with a good view on the lower Manhattan.

This is a great rooftop bar. Small plates as well. The drinks are super, although pricey. Seating is open and plentiful

First night here, I’d been to Loosie’s before but never up here. Loved the music, such a pretty spot, too bad it’s filled by father aged, jeff bezos look-alike men. That’s okay though, I’m here to vibe with the girlies and those are very easy to ignore. Come with promoter, dress well (it’s a manhattan club with a rooftop no shit), and you’ll have a stress free night filled with free drinks. Strongly recommend headed down to Loosie’s after a while spent vibing and dancing up here where there’s actually space to move for when you’re drunk enough and feeling something more hype.

ElNico is a rooftop bar located on the 11th floor of The Penny hotel in Williamsburg, offering a spacious and hassle-free experience. Unlike many rooftop bars, it takes reservations and boasts two large terraces, providing beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. The Mexican-inspired menu with a twist offers delicious food prepared by Chef Stephanie McKissick, featuring beautifully presented dishes with exciting flavor combinations.
Really cool rooftop restaurant with great food and great views. Staff were excellent. Food was delivered quick. Prices were reasonable. They didn’t make you feel like you had to be rushed out. Whether the balcony, the greenhouse or inside, the place was a vibe. Definitely recommend.
R A — Google review
It is with an immense amount of sadness to say that we did not have a good experience at elNico. Leading up to our reservation I had heard a lot of hype about this place, so going into it my expectations were high. It has the potential to be more than amazing, from the stunning Manhattan views, deliciously crafted cocktails, and flavorful Mexican food. Once we were seated (we had a res) we sat down at our table for about 30 minutes before anybody checked in on us. At this point, we still didn’t even get water which is the bare minimum. We had to go inside the main dining room to ask the bartender for drinks AND food. Once we sat down again they kept bringing out various dishes and cocktails that we didn’t even order. Once the food finally arrived, we still didn’t have any water so we asked for some. It was incredibly frustrating and I don’t think I will be back, unless some serious work can be done within the service department. Quality service is equally as important as the food and drinks in my personal opinion. I also want to quickly add that some of the drinks made at the bar seemed very skimpy… some glasses were only 3/4 full :/
Zimmi C — Google review
Delicious Mexican food with a view! Juan our server was so kind and attentive. We will be going back! And we’ll definitely be bringing our dog next time (they’re dog-friendly). We noticed the hostess didn’t have enough menus and had trouble keeping people from stealing tables outside. If she had a little more help, elNico would be a top tier Williamsburg restaurant!
Rose A — Google review
This place is 100% dog-friendly! I was pleasantly surprised when they gave us a spot right in the center of the restaurant.. it’s rare, since most places usually send us to the patio when we’re with our dogs. The space is cozy and beautiful, the service was a 10/10, and the atmosphere was just perfect. I absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to go back!
VALENTINA — Google review
We were *obsessed* with our experience here. The food was incredible, the drinks were creative and delicious, and the views were stunning. The outdoor area fills up fast (we came in at 6:30 on a Tuesday and it was already full) but the covered patio area was just as nice. Whoever our server was in that area was such a gem. Such a lovely guy!
Tiana Y — Google review
Wish we would have discovered this gem sooner. Relaxing and expansive rooftop, panoramic views of Brooklyn and the City, delicious and accessible menu. Full bar. Great tequila selection.
M G — Google review
I’m surprised not many people know about this place, I think they need more advertising on TikTok! Loved the vibe, food, view, and service. The view outside was so beautiful, but as it got chillier at night we asked to move inside and they quickly found a table for us. Also, special thanks to Francisco for the service and for taking such amazing pictures of us on my friend’s birthday. Will definitely come back! :)

This Mexican restaurant has a lot of potential. The food and the view will blow you away, the service can be hit and miss. That said, we went several times during our stay at the hotel on which this reataurant sits, and we only had a bad experience once during peak times. Defnitely recommend the elote or the quesadillas, also they have orange wine

Arlo NoMad is a boutique hotel located in the heart of New York City. The hotel has an outdoor rooftop bar with stunning views of the Empire State Building and Midtown Manhattan. The interior of the bar is comfortable and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a few cocktails. The hotel also has a skywalk glass floor which enables guests to walk on top of the building.
Brilliant rooftop location for an evening drink. Empire State on one side and many of the skyscrapers engulfing you. The feeling you get it as of you sit in your garden (in the sky) and surrounded by high rise buildings. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Guy G — Google review
The rooftop bar offers a fantastic view of the New York skyline, creating a nice atmosphere that is both chill and relaxed. However, the service was quite slow, and the cocktails were not particularly impressive, making the experience feel a bit overrated. Additionally, we noticed some young groups of people who were quite drunk, which slightly detracted from the overall ambiance. While the view is worth it, the bar could improve in other areas.
Nicola B — Google review
We came during sunset at the end of the Summer. The weather was nice and the decoration was pretty much lovely and the view was good but not the best in the neighborhood. We got drinks, aperol spritz. It had very mediocre taste and the presentation was pretty much bad, came in regular glass. It was a bit pricy.
Reza T — Google review
We were there for a late drink. The service was friendly and the wine was okay. The best view is on the right side and when we are there that was a private event. We could still took some photos etc.
Rim E — Google review
I had the pleasure of visiting Arlo Roof Top for our office happy hour not once, but twice. It was an exceptional experience for summer gatherings with its delightful combination of delicious food, refreshing drinks, lively music, and breathtaking sunset views. Despite its popularity, the rooftop never felt overcrowded, striking the perfect balance of energy and ambiance. The seating arrangement was well thought out, offering a mix of large and small tables spaciously placed. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring our food and drinks were always taken care of. The menu featured a diverse selection of finger foods, from delectable bite-sized burgers to flavorful falafel, all of which surpassed our expectations. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the unparalleled sunset view. Watching the sun descend amidst the towering buildings on the horizon, painting the sky with elegant hues, was a truly mesmerizing sight. I wholeheartedly recommend Arlo Roof Top for an unforgettable rooftop experience.

Best spot for watching sunsets glazing over nyc skyline. The drinks were nice, not a lot of food options for vegetarian but the ambience and vibes were clicking!!
Pallavi J — Google review
My husband and I went here one evening hoping to have a nice time. However the rooftop view was not great but pleasant, and the light bites was so incredibly cheap in presentation and flavor. Never one to judge a book by it cover, we tried the appetizer. My drink was tasty, however it was $20 dollars for a cocktail. My husband had beer in a can that felt like it was bought in bulk at Costco. Which would be fine if the overall experience and flavors were up to par. Our chips arrived in a greasy brown paper bag stapled shut. The dip was served in a plastic container like you would buy from the supermarket…or Walmart. The chips were the hardest rocks I could ever imagine eating. We closed out our bill to the tune of $60 dollars and left within 15 minutes of arriving. We then proceeded to another rooftop bar that had a view of the Empire State Building, amazing drinks, and delicious appetizers… for less money mind you. 230 rooftop bar was packed and lively. This Art Nomad was not. I can see why. Food trucks along the way had better presence and better taste. Check out the pictures. I really can’t articulate how mid this experience was. Literally what you see in these photos is what we paid $60 dollars for. There was a $9 service charge for I don’t even know what! I didn’t have any kind of service worth charging an additional fee for that’s for damn sure. The 230 rooftop bar with the view of the Empire State Building didn’t even have a random service charge! No other restaurant we went to had this. I should have asked for a complete refund immediately but we just wanted to escape the disappointment as soon as humanly possible 😂 (*sidenote* We were on vacation and expected to spend a good amount of money. We enjoy great food, drinks, experiences, and service, and will tip and review accordingly. As former service industry employees, we make sure we take of those who take care of us in regards to any endeavor or situation that requires tipping)

Perched atop the Kixby Hotel in Midtown, The Lookup offers an indoor-outdoor rooftop experience with stunning views of the Empire State Building. This new addition to Midtown's rooftop bar scene provides a relaxed atmosphere and is not overly crowded. The menu features creative bar bites such as rose-infused Meyer Lemon shrimp cocktail and whipped green chile beer cheese, alongside a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. While some find the cocktails pricey, they are well-received for their taste.
Great views on the rooftop, specifically a close-up view of the Empire State Building. Drinks are avg price for New York and pretty solid. Servers check and walk through the rooftop, so you're not forced to come to the bar each time you want to order a drink which was nice.

So unaccommodating. Rude staff. Paid for open bar per person and they kept telling everyone they were out of all of the drinks. Out of club soda. Out of "shots". Then at 10 once the open bar was done everything was back in stock. Henry was good. Everybody was extremely rude. Great view. Horrible service. Also pretzels were rock hard and inedible.

We were there for Sunday brunch at 1145am. It was a beautiful roof top restaurant with a great view. The 10 course small meals were small but really filling by number 7 or 8th. They were all very delicious. The experience I love the most other than the food was the Dandy Wellington band. The soft fun jazz music set a great atmosphere for the overall dinning experience. Of course, the service and attention to detail with all the wait staff, coordinator made my whole lunch with a great friend extra memorable. Will definitely return to this place. Excellent choice of the band. Thank you.

Most of the food is good but not all. We got the wrong desert though. Drinks are also kinda pricey and the 62$ sangria pitcher is a trap. Bouncers are nasty and it's hard to get a table even though they are low on occupancy. Other staff are very nice and friendly. You just have to get used to eating on your lap or tip the ladies at the entrance to get a table like a decent human being.

This place is very nice for the view. Otherwise I think the food is okay and overpriced (which is allowed because you’re mostly paying for the view and ambiance) I thankfully I had a Groupon for $60 but still had to pay extra and gratuity was already included. I think this place is nice for a birthday or a celebration but not a regular dinner.

Great views. Good food. Nice Staff. The observation deck was closed when I went so that was a bit disappointing. If you go with a group the pitcher option for cocktails is great. Also be sure to get an appetizer and main as the portions are not large. Good spot overall.

Their rooftop party was a 10/10 experience!! I was visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to find the best rooftop party. I looked on social media and bought a $30 ticket for the Amber rooftop party. 0 stars from the get go. Whoever was the bouncer with the bad cut beard and raggedy beat up shoes on yesterday needs to be fired immediately and/or check himself when trying to conduct business. He made a smart comment to me and my friends when we were having our own conversation amongst ourselves that nothing to do with him. Then he tried to tell my friend he couldn’t come in with his pants (the pants were regular PANTS from zara with stripes🙄) regardless we still got in.. the drinks were a little expensive, but the vibe inside the club and rooftop was decent. The people made the party good.. NOT the business itself or employees.
Montez G — Google review
I had a very unpleasant experience at this bar earlier today. While I was having a genuine conversation with another guest about local coffee shops in our neighborhood (that I initiated), the bartender interrupted, over-talked me, and completely hijacked the conversation to make it about himself and his own coffee experiences without being invited into the conversation. He stole the moment from us and dismissed my voice, and acted I was not existing in the seat when he excluded me and fought to control the conversation by raising his voice in an attempt to cover mine. It sounded personal, incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I genuinely can’t believe I experienced this type of person giving service. I even tipped well when I closed the tab the moment I ordered. At least, he should have faked respect for the sake of the tip. Later on the rooftop, I witnessed another troubling incident. A group of white women stood on seats to take photos without being stopped, but when a Black couple did the same thing, a staff member came running out, shouting “No, no, no!” so loudly that everyone thought there was an emergency. The double standard and the way it was handled were shocking. Between the bartender’s disrespect and the inconsistent way guests were treated, I left feeling disappointed and very uncomfortable. This is not the welcoming atmosphere a bar should have. Luckily, we have many rooftop bars in Williamsburg.

Place has potential. Missing something but could not tell you what it is. Tonight's party Revival was very cute. But music was IT! Def needed at least one more bartender. Overall, I can see this as an up an coming spot for a fun chill night to mingle. Did not try the food. Next time. And Drinks were good and very NYC prices.

This spot is absolutely wonderful. A lot of upscale places hoax the guest into an unnecessarily expensive and unenjoyable experience; Lillistar is rightly priced and is worth every penny. The asian fusion tapas menu offers a great couple bites and the cocktails are very nicely balanced. For easier drink situations, there’s always cheap tecate which is always refreshing. The whole boho vibe is really nice and pairs even nicer with the view. Come over, you’ll like it around here for sure.

My friend and I went to the rooftop for the Taco Tuesday deal. The staff are welcoming and checks up on you regularly throughout. The drinks were strong but still good. There were also photographers taking photos (with consent) and offering a frame with it too ($$). We were excited to eat the tacos and see the city views, but it turned out we couldn’t see the views. The tacos were hit or miss and it did take longer than normal to get them.
Yu I — Google review
Went here because of an IG post raving about the all you can eat taco Tuesday for $25.. in the ad there were ten different tacos available to choose from. Got here only to find out that the offerings whittled down to four! Steak, chicken, cheese and pork of which as a mostly plant based person I eat none of those. My husband had the chicken and steak but we had to speak to the kind manager Mike who was happy to accommodate me after we brought the issue to his attention. I was able to get the fish and impossible tacos, but it wasn't all I could eat unfortunately. The fish was spicy but good. The impossible tasted like it was a sweet corn taco. I don't recommend it. The chicken and steak were good according to my husband but in all honesty, unless you're looking to explore more of the menu and drink the alcoholic drinks (we didn't) and are in a party vibe don't rush to get here, if at all. We've had better from the neighborhood spot.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Trip to Mexico on a Rooftop! (We Didn't Want to Leave!) Cantina Rooftop is an absolute must-visit! The experience starts before you even get through the door—I could hear the DJ's bass thumping while waiting for the elevator, which set the tone for the entire night. The vibe is pure vacation: energetic, colorful, and just plain fun. Honestly, we felt like we'd stepped off a plane and landed in a lively spot in Mexico! The atmosphere is so infectious, thanks in large part to the amazing DJ keeping the energy high. We genuinely did not want to leave. But let's talk about the food. Every single thing we tried was delicious! We started with the nachos, which were perfectly loaded and craveable, and the tostadas were fresh, crunchy, and spot-on. The true star of the show, however, were the Birria tacos. Seriously, do not skip these! The meat was tender, rich, and perfect for dipping.Cantina Rooftop has nailed the trifecta: fantastic food, great drinks, and an unbeatable, party-like atmosphere. It’s the perfect place for a celebration, a date night, or just when you need a little escape. Go! You won't regret it.

Great vibe, amazing food. Service was less than stellar. Took a few requests to get served and after asking for our bill 5 times, we just went up to the front and paid. Maybe just a bad night. Update: Went back for a second time and it was amazing. Service was spot on. Manager was great and stopped to chat. Gave us recommendations to another bar. Gotta love loud music though. Loved the Guac. Enchiladas were amazing. We got cocktails in the skulls and got to take the skulls home!

Had an amazing evening at Monarch Rooftop! The atmosphere here is truly something special — stylish, vibrant, and perfect for a night out in the city. The rooftop view is stunning, especially during golden hour and after sunset when the city lights come alive. It’s a great spot for both casual drinks and more dressed-up occasions. The cocktails were excellent — well-crafted and balanced. I ordered a few signature drinks and was impressed by the presentation and flavor. They also offer a good selection of wine and spirits. The vibe was energetic without being too loud, and the music added to the overall ambiance without overpowering conversations. The service was friendly and attentive, even though the place was busy. Staff made sure we were comfortable, and everything was brought out in a timely manner. There’s a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, but I highly recommend grabbing a spot outside if the weather’s good. Whether you’re visiting NYC or live here and want a chic rooftop experience with great drinks and views, Monarch Rooftop is definitely worth it. I’ll be back for sure!

Definitely make reservations, without reservations you don’t even have a place to lean against or put your drink down, other than that this place is absolutely awesome! Also upscale dress code!

We hosted an alumni reunion happy hour at Monarch Rooftop this past June, and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The service was impeccable. Liz, our waitress, went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the evening. Our guests, including the dean of the school, were thoroughly impressed with how everything turned out. There was an abundance of delicious food and drinks all night, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. Everyone left feeling satisfied and already talking about returning. Monarch Rooftop truly helped make our event memorable!

Outstanding experience, my girlfriend and I went twice during our 5 day visit and both experiences were wonderful, the atmosphere is comfy and gorgeous during the day and at night it’s a great place to experience the lights of the city. The fries we ordered were okay, could use a bit more flavour but that’s the only complaint I’d have. A little pricy but it’s worth it.

The view from the roof top was sooo worth it. The food and drinks here are also pretty good. It can definitely get busy, but we were able to get in even without reservations. I think because of how busy it got, our drinks took a very long time to come out, but otherwise, it was a very enjoyable.

Loved the ambiance at Monarch Rooftop and what an incredible view of the Empire State Building! 😍 The service was fantastic, and a big high five to Joslyn, who was attentive and smiling all evening. We reserved a table for eight, and the entire night was an absolute blast. Perfect spot for great vibes, views, and celebration!

Food was good and came very quick, it was quite small servings. Great decor/atmosphere. Host and food runners were very very nice. Service, however, was not great at all. Waited about 15 min before a server even came over to our table and was simply greeted with “are you ready to order?” No hi, hello, how are you, sorry about the wait…barely came over to our table or interacted with us. As a server myself, I would've expected a bit more, especially considering how expensive the place is.

This stylish penthouse venue features an impressive rooftop bar that offers both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding with your favorite cocktail or wine.
The atmosphere was great. Came here on a Sunday and it wasn’t crowded. The food and the drinks were really good. I ordered the Jamaican Jamaican combo which came with oxtails and curry goat. For my drink, I got the Hennessy punch and that was amazing too. Chad the bartender and Elijah the bar back were fantastic and took good care of me.

Popped in to celebrate a graduation! Very well decorated main dining area with a great set up, I noticed a private section in the front, I thought that was great, but decided to go 'rooftop' as the weary was perfect. We walked up a small flight of steps, opened the door to the nicest bar/ seating area, cozy, the vibes were right and when I looked right, there was that covered rooftop dining area that was absolutely perfect ( only to find out there was an EXTRA outdoor area... Love this place already!. Our server was Chris, nice guy... It seems that Mid week is a different crowd & with light staff, possibly the weekend is when it's fully staffed, we surely didn't mind any wait, as we were in good company. Drinks were made RIGHT!!! Rum punch, very tasty, Tito's & seltzer & finally Gin n seltzer with lemon... All made correctly.. our apps were bang bang shrimp & calamari and our main was the Salmon & a side of fried rice... All tasty served hot and presented well. I would definitely believe to come back to try brunch and maybe a night where there's a DJ & some dancing!

Visited Caribbean Soul around 4:30 p.m. and it wasn't busy which meant we were able to be seated and placed our order within a few minutes. The food didn't take long to come out and was hot and flavorful. We had the Esco Red Snapper with Rice and Peas and Vegetables and also a Combo plate which had Oxtail, Curry Goat, Fried Shrimp, Rice and Peas, Vegetables and Fried Plantains. I ordered a lemonade because I don't drink alcohol which was too sweet for my taste buds which made it my last favorite item. From the atmosphere of the space I can tell that it's a great place to be especially at night.

Wow! What can I say? Pure excellence. Fantastic mango habanero wings, the best Jamacian calamari I've ever had. The food came fast and hot. Rum punch transported me to de island and the escovich fish and goat curry was fantastic.

This was the best experience I've had with Jamaican food in NY. My 2 family members and I visited Caribbean Soul for a late brunch around 4 pm and ordered the Jamaica Jamaica meal, which included curry goat, oxtail, rice and peas and steamed vegetables. Delicious 😋!!! I also enjoyed their lychee passion mojito that the waitress recommended. Thankfully, it wasn't too sweet that it tasted like I was drinking sugar and not too alcoholic that it burned my throat. It was just right for me. The vibe of the place was wonderful as we enjoyed our conversation along with the Jamaican music the DJ played on the 2nd floor. It was a mix of oldies and new school reggae and dancehall that only added to our enjoyment. The place was beautifully decorated by the owner, who we were lucky enough to meet. My fam and I ended the night with 2 rounds of vodka & tequila shots. 10 out of 10!!! Will definitely return here once I visit NY again.

Bar Cima is a sophisticated and alluring rooftop tequileria located at the Grayson Hotel in New York City. With stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the Empire State Building, the East and Hudson Rivers, and the city lights, it's poised to become one of NYC's top rooftop bars. The indoor setting exudes sultry chic vibes, making it ideal for both romantic encounters and business meetings.
Loved Bar Cima! Incredible vibe and great service. The Spicy Mezcal Paloma was a standout — perfectly balanced, smoky, and just the right amount of kick. One of the best cocktails I’ve had in the city. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you want amazing drinks and a great atmosphere.
George C — Google review
Barcima had a great atmosphere, warm, stylish, and inviting. The food was pretty good overall, with a nice variety and solid flavors. The only downside was the inconsistency in service; there were moments where it felt like we were left unattended for a bit too long. Still, it didn’t ruin the experience, and I’d say it was a good spot overall. Worth checking out!

We went there for some cocktails with the views of the city and left speechless. The cocktails where amazing, but the staff and the views of the NYC skyline totally made our day. The bartenders, Vlad and Jared, were wonderful, not only did they make great drinks, but they were also great to talk to and made our experience so much better ❤️ The inside is really cozy, with the great view of the Empire State Building, but the rooftop is what made this place for us! I totally recommend going for a drink there - they make you feel like home, even if you're not a guest at the hotel

This is an awesome venue with great views. We showed up on a Monday and wanted to grab a few rooftop drinks before we headed out to a comedy club. When we got there we were told that we couldn’t sit outside because all of the tables were reserved. They said we couldn’t sit outside, told us to sit inside and order drinks, (and were informed that after that we can check out the rooftop) , we had to first wait 20 minutes for our server to come over, then when server showed up she was extremely dismissive. When we were finally able to go to the rooftop (after solid 30 minutes) still no reservation showed up We spend a solid hour on the rooftop (still not having a table since we were not allowed to use it), not a single table showed up. During our that time we heard the host turning away multiple people, who wanted to enjoy rooftop, claiming that tables were reserved.

VERY rude staff. I was waiting in the bathroom line (which was wrapped around the bar) with my friend. By the time we got to the front of the line there was no toilet paper in any of the 4 stalls. I went to the bar to inform them that there was no toilet paper and the person working there was so unnecessarily rude to me. He said "Oh let me just stop everything I'm doing to help you" in a very sarcastic way. I was simply trying to inform them. They could have said "Thanks for letting me know" or "We've got it covered" but no instead I was met with a sour experience. I could understand if I came to the bar tapping my foot, giving them attitude, demanding toilet paper be placed in the bathroom immediately. But all I did was try to help by flagging down someone who worked there, as I was unsure if they were aware of this issue. I guess women will have to be expected to wipe with their hands in this establishment. The staff member had glasses, was a bit older with light colored hair. If you're thinking of hosting an event here you may want to reconsider, as the staff working may not treat your guests with kindness.

Had a great time enjoying dinner at Lohi Rooftop. Came to enjoy a late rooftop view as summer was dying down. The menu is limited but has tasty options. We ordered the double smash burger, the salad, and the chimichurri steak. The smash burger was the highlight for me. Lohi also doubles as an event space as well. Have been to a couple of parties here during the summer which were always a good time. Make sure to tip the Bartenders

Came out with many friends for a short notice celebration. Not only was the place accommodating, clean and fun but the service was beyond what we expected for NY. Something happened, gods will, will other patrons effecting us and Emmah? And her staff were fast to react, rectify and resolve. Our night wouldn’t have happened so perfectly or suddenly if not for coming here. Will always come back, thank you!

I ordered a $15 drink and paid with card. The bartender didn't not let me place any tip and instead placed a 29% tip himself and never mentioned to doing so. I only found out after looking at the charge after the fact. I am not opposed to tipping, but I am opposed to letting someone else dictate my tip, especially when it was never communicated. Edit: Thanks for the reply and thanks for offering to cover my next drink, but I would prefer for your establishment to make it clear there is automatic gratuity: post signs, mention it on the menu, have your bartender mention it to people, etc. And the fact that there is automatic gratuity at a bar is weird to begin with, especially when there was no tab involved. At that point, just incorporate the tip into the price.

Perched on the 60th floor in Downtown, Manhatta is a high-end restaurant offering New American cuisine and stunning city views. The restaurant, part of the Union Square Hospitality Group, boasts expansive windows that provide breathtaking panoramic views of the city, including iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building and Brooklyn Bridge. Chef Jason Pfeifer curates a seasonal menu inspired by French flavors.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Manhatta. We started the evening with drinks at the bar, and the view alone was worth the visit—panoramic, breathtaking, and the perfect way to set the tone for dinner. The bar team was fantastic, and the atmosphere up there is just stunning. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the staff made it memorable. Despite already ordering two bottles of wine, they surprised us with complimentary glasses of champagne and an extra dessert at the end—such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The food was excellent across the board—elegant, well-executed, and full of flavor. The whole experience felt elevated yet relaxed, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Would definitely recommend Manhatta for anyone looking to celebrate something special—or just enjoy one of the best views in the city with great food and warm hospitality.

This restaurant has it all. It deserves a Michelin star or two as far as the food goes. The flavors and the presentation are top notch. Add to that a knowledgeable and friendly staff, and that would be enough to make for a great dining experience. But wait, there's more! The view! 60 stories up with most of Manhattan, the Hudson, the East River and beyond all in your field of view. Put it all together and you will have an amazing and memorable dining experience.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday here and the views definitely made it a memorable spot! Had the steak (portion could have been better), the Gold Bar Squash with sauce ravigote side which was really really good, Potato Chips with umami powder was lacking the umami powder so it ended up tasting like your average crisps from a bag. Had the berry me in nyc which was delish. For dessert we had the Toasted Rice Millefeuille with Koshihikari Rice Cream and Hazelnut Cream which was prettier than how it tasted but the Milk Chocolate chicory mousse with white coffee cremeux and black cherry ice cream was so beautifully complex.
Nithila T — Google review
Dining at Manhatta feels like floating above the city — surrounded by glass, sky, and light. The menu isn’t about extravagance, but about quiet precision: each plate delicate, modern, and deeply satisfying. The true star, though, is the view — an ever-changing canvas of Manhattan’s skyline that turns dinner into something cinematic. A place where you go not just to eat, but to pause, breathe, and remember why New York feels infinite.

I love the views from here! Very beautiful: the inside of the restaurant is wonderful. The service is great and they are really on top of it! I went for restaurant week and the food was very good! But it just wasn’t incredibly memorable so I took a star off. But I still had a great time.

We’ve been here a few times and Sam has been our server on two occasions. He’s the best! Last time we were here for lunch on Aug 4. We were seated beside the window and it was pleasant to admire the view outside while dining. The food was fine, except my mother’s fish entrée arrived undercooked and raw inside. She felt a bit sick afterwards. However, when she told Sam he immediately offered to have the dish replaced, which made up for it. She did enjoy the fish the second time around, once it was cooked properly. The great service made up for the mishap with the food. We had an enjoyable lunch overall - Sam really made the difference and turned it from an average meal to a standout experience.

Amazing views and fantastic service. Came here to celebrate my birthday, and it was perfect. A birthday card was a nice touch. You get to choose between 3 or 4 course tasting menu and also get a pre-appetizer and a pallet cleaner between main and desert. Everything was delicious and of course the presentation was beautiful. Magnifecent views most definitely add to the experience, especially if you are lucky to sit by the window, it is very romantic. Hope to be back one day.

Located in the Empire Stores building in DUMBO, Time Out Market New York offers a bi-level waterfront experience with a curated selection of local food and drinks. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the NYC skyline, Brooklyn Bridge, and Manhattan Bridge from the rooftop. With over twenty food stalls representing various cuisines, it's an ideal spot for group dining as there is something to satisfy every palate.
After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge to the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area of Brooklyn my wife and I decided to have lunch at the Timeout Market foodhall. There were many wonderful indoor food stalls options on the ground floor together with the large Cecconi's restaurant with sitting outside next to the riverside with fantastic views of the Manhattan Bridge, as well as indoors. After looking at all the food stalls options on the ground floor, we took the lift up to check out the open air seating area on the 5th floor rooftop, as I had downloaded the App that allowed me to look at all the food options from the stalls, order anything I wanted, pay for it online and have it delivered to our table on the rooftop. When we got to the 5th floor we discovered there was a smaller foodhall with 5 food stalls and a bar. The Bark Barbeque stall immediately caught our attention as it was the only one with a queue and we love BBQ food. So I queued up for 15 minutes and I ordered some fantastic Dominican BBQ food (beef brisket, pulled pork sandwich, smoked conitas & cornbread with honey bitter), which we enjoyed with a couple of great IPA beers that my wife had purchased from the bar, sitting at a bench table. There was also outside seating on the rooftop for diners, in addition to a public terrace with fantastic views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge & NYC skyline. There are toilets on the first floor, which had big queues, and inside the 5th floor foodhall. The riverside with beautiful parks and Jane's Carousel can be accessed from the back of the mall. Of the 3 food halls we visited on this trip to NYC (Chelsea Market & Market 57 being the others) this was by far our favourite and we would highly recommend it.

Visited Time Out Market NYC on a Friday night it was super busy, but we found a place to sit in just 5 minutes! The food is absolutely amazing so many great options, and totally worth the wait. Yes, the lines are long (food stalls, restrooms, even the elevator had at least a 15-minute wait), but the lively atmosphere and incredible flavors make up for it. Perfectly located near DUMBO and the Brooklyn Bridge, with a stunning view to top it all off. Loved the experience , just be ready for the crowd!

Time Out Market New York is good. It can improve by having more bathrooms available. The wait for the women's bathroom was 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon! Communal bench seating for dining in, first come basis. Various restaurants to order from. Ess A Bagel had a really long line!

Time Out Market – A Great Spot for Food and Views Time Out Market in Brooklyn is a vibrant food hall featuring a curated selection of some of the city’s best local restaurants and chefs—all under one roof. The variety is impressive, with options ranging from classic New York pizza and burgers to international street food, desserts, and artisanal cocktails. The quality of the food is solid—nothing mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable. Prices are on par with typical NYC standards, so be prepared to spend a bit more than you might elsewhere. What really makes it worth the visit is the rooftop terrace. Head upstairs for a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge—especially beautiful at sunset. It’s a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the atmosphere of DUMBO.

It was a quick date out with my wife as my son was at a basketball game with his aunt. The food at the pizzeria was delish, fresh and savory. We had a salad and a truffle pizza. The drinks from tha bar was a nice touch. My wife had a margarita traditional and I had a watermelon drink. Can’t remember the name. All together with that view made it a spectacular moment for us.

Time Out Market is a touristic spot so expect prices for tourists. Food is not cheap and even tho it’s not amazon the ambience and the view make it totally worth it. I’ve eaten there twice, once during two different trips to NYC, and it’s never a bad idea. I’d recommend going there not during rush hours since it can get really crowded. I like grabbing food on the 5th floor and just enjoy the atmosphere. Spend some time on the terrace looking towards Manhattan, the view is amazing.

My partner and I went here on Valentine’s Day and got the three-course prix fixe. The atmosphere was lively, the service was excellent, and I definitely want to come back in the summer season. There are multiple outdoor spaces and almost all the windows open fully. The cocktails and the food we had were great and overall nothing was too expensive.

I wish I could give this place overall 5 stars because the waitress and atmosphere here are all great, however the food has declined so much it’s a HARD pass for me. The lobster rolls best feature is the buttery bread it’s served on. By far the blandest seafood I’ve tasted. I’d rather drink seawater , I bet it would have more flavor than that. Great place for drinks, pass on the food.
Ray O — Google review
Nice breeze, free mini golf, but the food is mediocre at best. Mussels were not fresh, deviled eggs were the worst. Everything else was so so. We spent $240 total for 3 people (two adults, one kid). I will not be visiting again for the food. Maybe I'll stop by for drinks at night.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing drinks. Best spot on Steinway, such a hidden gem. The view from the rooftop is outstanding. Roof opens after March when the weather is good but they let you upstairs for photos even if it’s cold out. Not the first time there and definitely not the last time.

Overall a good experience. Would go back but nothing really stood out except for the nice 360 views. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a nice summer rooftop experience in Astoria. Food: Good and filling. Portions sizes differ hard on item. We thought the kani salad would be much larger and one of the roll combos a lot smaller. Different surprises! Quality-wise it was sufficient but nothing tasted overly fresh or not fresh. Service: We went on a Monday early evening and there was plenty of space downstairs and the rooftop. Despite only three tables filled the service was a little slow. They even missed one of the items in our order so we were there longer than expected. Doesn’t inform my rating, but I saw a ton of AYCE menu images on their reviews. Nothing on their menu suggested AYCE, and none of the servers mentioned anything either. Service was pretty bare bones. Price: For the quality of the food and no drinks it felt a little expensive, but still largely in line with Manhattan prices (despite being in Astoria). It was a bit over $100 for two people with one app and three sushi orders.

I recently dined at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, and it was an incredible experience! The variety of offerings, from fresh salads to delectable sushi rolls, was impressive. The chef’s special rolls were a standout, bursting with flavor. The kitchen appetizers and tempura were crispy and delicious, perfectly complementing the sushi. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was attentive. For sushi lovers, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend for a satisfying meal!

Okayyyy real up here: deadass listen not sure what exactly was i expecting on Valentine’s day but we had reservation at 7:15 pm and we specially asked for seats with view. First thing they call us at 4pm to confirm we said okay good. Second: we walk in and they tell us to seat right next to an another table in a tiny corner space with the fridge next to us as our view not what we asked. Third: Waited till 7:45 pm ish to seat and get a okay seat in the front of the restaurant with the view. Fourth: we ordered the 3 course menu for $50 per person we got calamari as appetizers and IT WAS NASTY AND OILYYYYY. Chewy as hell. The table next to us got it and they had the courage to ask for exchange but we couldn’t so we had to take it home and throw it not edible at all. Including the shrimp sumai oil is soaking out of it yikes. Don’t get anything fried from here you will feel nauseous. Fifth: Our main entree came i got the tomo and lady gaga fresh sushi. i don’t mind that was good i rate 9/10 and my man got pad thai which was okayy 7/10 needed some salt or what not. Sixth: We got our “dessert” which was ice cream and we had to remind our server 3 times to get our ice cream. only for two scoops. The table next to us I feel so bad but they literally had to get their cheesecake three times to fix it but they just got up and left without dessert because they served on dirty tray and then again it was upside down🥲i felt so bad and they upcharge $10 to change from ice cream. Lastly: they even got our check wrong and had to come back to fix it😭 oh lord the service was not it i understand valentine’s day long day however everyone was given reservation 20 mins apart. And i feel like they didn’t like care much. Not sure if i will come back because spending $100 plus and expect us to pay $15 tip for what? I’m sorry but no. FIX THE SERVICE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO HAVE HOSPITALITY AND FIX YOUR FOOD. Please please its every nice ambient and nice vibe but this isn’t helping i want to come back but not sure if i would spend money to be like this. we wasted 2hrs here. Ugh. overall 6/10 experience.

It’s a beautiful rooftop with an amazing view of the manhattan skyline 🏙️ the service very attentive and fast. However the dish I had that day was too much salty for my taste.

this place was a great choice to make a reservation for dinner on July 4th. their sashimi is very good. i would definitely come back here again.

I had a graduation dinner here and the food was lovely, well presented and flavorfully prepared. The views of the city were “Amazing”. Where they need work is with their service. A few member of the group had their order forgotten, and one members was served food on a chipped plate.
Steven H — Google review
What I do love is, not only the quality of food, but the rooftop views to see the Manhattan night scene. ❤️❤️❤️ The service is extraordinary. 😃 The food is exquisite. Only about 20 seats are available in this restaurant, so make sure to call them to verify the availability before you go.

SERRA by Birreria is a rooftop restaurant located atop Eataly in the Flatiron District of New York. The scenic setting offers an elevated Italian dining experience, complemented by house-brewed ales and high-end imported beer. With a retractable roof, this beer garden provides year-round enjoyment and features a long bar serving Italian wines and craft beers. The menu boasts dishes such as melted raclette cheese and gnocchi with gorgonzola cream.
We came on this past weekend and met the pop up of “AMALFI”, prefect location of Flatiron’s roof top. Love the decor of lemon everywhere. Totally Italian country side style. Took the brunch menu, all the dishes with zest of lemon.
Molly C — Google review
The folks at Eataly have created a unique and interesting greenhouse space on their roof that functions as a restaurant, called Amalfi and its current iteration. There are some lovely fake trees with lemons that decorate the space and create a welcoming vibe. Unfortunately, we felt that the prices were very high for what you get, which was mid quality pasta, and small portions. Drinks are fully priced, appetizers are fully priced and while the spaces unique, you are not getting any spectacular views. We had a small group of five people, and we each had one drink, it ended up costing us $75 per person with three shared appetizers among the table. I had low expectations going in, and those expectations were met.
ESB N — Google review
Great atmosphere, prices are on par with other places near by, and good service! Went to the bar area and was happy with the experience. Fun, great drinks. Had a few appetizers which were great, nothing spectacular but still was good! No bar wait time on Friday night to get table or seat, but there were times it got busy in the bar area. I would like to come back for dinner and try an entree!

With no reservations at around 1:30 we went for the high tops at the bar. While they said to go to the bartender to order, one was kind enough to come to us and was very attentive to both us and the bar over the course of the afternoon. Started with the limoncello cocktails— the cucumber one was so refreshing— and the stracciatella with tomato which was delicious. My friend had the avocado toast which was brimming with avocado and I had the prosciutto and melon. The prosciutto was good, the way I prefer it, with a mild flavor, but sliced a bit thicker than my preference. The melon didn’t have quite enough of the rind cut off. Great atmosphere and nice breeze despite the heat of the day— would definitely return.

Very charming atmosphere like dining in a garden but its actually indoor greenhouse space. Food is kinda tasty but its a little steep for the portions. Probably its just a one time experiences only. Great for group tho.

Sierra – Beautiful Atmosphere, but Slow Service. The atmosphere at the Sierra location was really nice — cozy and stylish, great for a relaxed evening. However, the service was quite slow, and we ended up waiting much longer than expected. The food was just okay, nothing too special. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re not in a rush and just want to enjoy the ambiance.
Dinara S — Google review
This cute rooftop was amazing. The atmosphere was great, and the food tasted very fresh and good. My drink wasn't as strong as I would have liked. The mojito was more club soda than the actual flavor. However, the espresso martini was on point and strong. The tiramisu dessert is a must. Our waitress was very friendly and nice. Loved the theme and all the detail through out the restaurant.
Arbellys G — Google review
Been to this rooftop years ago and again recently (June 2025) for the Amalfi pop up. Great service, beautiful decor, great drinks, and a good vibe. We were here very early. So it. Wasn't crowded yet. Tourists go here but if you go early before the crowd it's a nice spot to grab a rooftop drink on a nice day. Hot in the summer however. So, if you don't like heat, come during a cooler day.

If you're looking for a fun and lively spot to end your night in the West Village, A.R.T. SoHo is definitely worth checking out! The rooftop bar has amazing views of the Hudson River and delicious table fries that will leave you satisfied, no matter how late into the night it gets. Not to mention, the bartenders are hepful and know their cocktails well- so if you're looking for a good time, this is definitely the place to be!
I was staying at the Arlo and spent most nights up at Art. Terrell the manager and Estefani my server were amazing every time. They were so friendly, attentive, and even remembered my name which made it feel extra welcoming. The vibes were always great, the music was on point, and the Old Fashioneds were some of the best I’ve had. Wish we similar vibes like in Detroit. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the city.

Loved happy hour at this rooftop bar! Excellent location, great ambiance and crowd. Excellent staff and menu. My only two callouts: First, finding the elevator to get to the rooftop bar was a bit challenging. Second, make sure to say “mini” frose for the happy hour pricing on this drink. Otherwise, I had a great experience and will definitely return.
Adrienne E — Google review
I wish I could give this place a better review because the food was phenomenal but unfortunately I cannot. We waited for over 20 minutes just for someone to take our order, another 20 mins to get our drinks, and 20 more mins after that to get our food. And our food was delivered to the table next to us instead and so we had to wait until after our food to eat the fries since they left those at the other table. Overall the staff were really rude, except for one gentleman who was bar tending/serving and he is the only reason I am giving two stars here. Way too expensive for the horrible service.

Alexandra gave us an amazing experience!! Rooftop was not overly crowded at 8 pm on Friday and the music was great.

I recently visited ART SoHo (the rooftop bar at the Arlo SoHo in NYC) and had an absolutely stellar experience—thanks in large part to our server, Oscar. From the moment we arrived, Oscar welcomed us with a warm and genuine smile. He took the time to introduce the menu, highlight seasonal cocktails (we ended up trying a Fig & Maple Old Fashioned and a Watermelon Fizz which were both fantastic), and genuinely offered recommendations tailored to our group’s tastes. He wasn’t just “checking in” — he checked in with us, making sure each round, each bite, and each moment was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooftop itself is stunning: sweeping skyline views of downtown Manhattan and the Hudson River give the entire space a kind of effortless “wow” factor. The indoor-outdoor layout is perfect for shifting between sun-soaked lounging and night-out energy. The food and drink menu compliment the setting beautifully — we shared small plates and cocktails, and each hit the mark.

Amazing service, the whole staff was friendly! Good vibes. Food and drinks came out pretty fast. The hosts were attentive and the servers Tion and Stef carried on a good conversation. Can’t complain for my experience.

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Bushwick, Honey's is a trendy tasting room that offers an inviting atmosphere with its airy and minimalist design. This unique spot combines a micro-meadery experience with a rooftop garden where guests can dance under the stars to live DJ music on weekends. The venue features small-batch meads crafted from locally sourced ingredients, alongside an impressive cocktail menu that elevates your night out.
Honey’s is a vibe! Great ambience, good crowd, and various selections of tasty cocktails and natural wine. They had a DJ play the night we visited and the music was 🔥 and not to mention the sick sound system. Truly a gem of Bushwick!

Used to love coming here every now and then but got rude energy from the staff and some locals who probably assumed I was not from the neighborhood. Think they were friends with the staff. Felt like I was not welcome, quite unfortunate.

Essential place for a drink pre or post-Elsewhere show. They sometimes have DJs on the roof or in the back sound room indoors. A couple in-house beers on tap.

Honey’s was awesome!! Lucas had such an incredible wine recommendation for me and the fellas and I’m already craving another bottle! So excited to have found this gem.

This was such an interesting place! My friend and I walked in just to get a drink before a show, but we didn't realize it was a mead bar. The bartender asked us if we've ever had mead before and we said no. So then he took out glasses 4 for the each of us and gave us a free Mead tasting. I didn't know what to expect but needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. The Mead he gave us was dry crisp and had a variety of interesting flavors and notes. It tastes like a dry wine and has very little sweetness. The interior is very nice and there's actually a Distillery right behind the bar. Overall it was a very pleasant experience with the bartender was very passionate about Mead.

wow. i came for craft cocktails and found fine dining! dinner highlights included radioactive-green chlorophyll focaccia, oily and spongy and springy with house honey butter; sour funky kimchi-pickled nightshades; a bright and warm tamarind-coconut kuri curry with jalapeño and green frills over rice; and lamb breast, my god, slow roasted and so succulent, served with house kefir and roasted roots and quince. i had the new umami makgeolli cocktail, and my companion had the ocean martini. luxe! a decadent bushwick dinner to bring a date you want to impress, or to let your parents take you out to, long as they're guaranteeing your apartment

Delicious mead. Came from long island to test this place out. Not alot of meaderys out by me. Really enjoyed the St. Crimson as my favorite so far. If you are a red wine person that's your best bet. Also has a rooftop and has random pop-ups come thro here. Unfortunately I did not grab the bartender name as he did a wonderful job.

Nestled atop the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Cantor Roof Garden Bar is a delightful retreat that perfectly complements an afternoon immersed in culture. As you ascend via the elevator from the European Sculpture and Decorative Arts galleries, prepare to be captivated by breathtaking panoramic views of Central Park framed by the stunning Manhattan skyline. Open seasonally from early spring through fall, this rooftop gem not only showcases a new art installation each summer but also transforms into a vibrant martini bar on Friday and Saturday nights.
I've been to the Met numerous times. At first I wasn't aware about this rooftop access. Then I knew about it but never remembered to make it a stop. I finally made it today thanks to "The Roof Garden Commission: Lauren Halsey" exhibit! The rooftop (elevator to the 5th level) has a good view of the West Side skyline across the Central Park. It'd have been worth a stop by itself, but now with Lauren Halley's Egyptian themed exhibit, the wow factor has more than doubled. We spent a good 30 minutes to soak it all in. There is an outdoor bar right next to the entrance. You exit at a different door which leads to stairs down to the 4th floor instead of elevators. I didn't ask but I would presume a wheelchair bound person would be allowed to exit from the entrance.
David H — Google review
It’s fine but I don’t know why there’s like no seating. They could easily fit 50 small tables up here. There’s benches but not a ton and you’d think people would want to sit down with their drinks and hang out for an hour. They should look into making a proper rooftop bar with tables. Nice views at least. No real food, it’s packaged sandwiches and snacks and drinks.
Rowan J — Google review
First off, this place was surprisingly difficult to find. I had to ask three staff members before one kindly walked me to the dedicated elevator that leads to the fifth-floor garden. It's described as a rooftop garden bar, but in reality, it feels more like a simple coffee stand. The view is beautiful and offers a nice breath of fresh air from the museum, but don’t expect a full bar experience. I ordered a sparkling wine and was given it in a plastic cup. The food options were very limited and didn’t look particularly appetizing, and the alcoholic beverage selection was minimal as well. There were no tables or chairs, not even high tops, which made it hard to enjoy the space. The cashiers weren’t especially friendly but still prompted a 20% tip. I’d recommend visiting the rooftop for the view, but there’s really no need to make a purchase.
Vickie C — Google review
I wish it was more like an actual bar. They barely had any seats. Some high tables and chairs would be much better than the wooden benches which are too low and also don’t face the view. We went on a hot day and the sun was burning us up. Would have been nice to have some shade options. The “bar” is ok but also there I would have preferred actually glasses instead of little plastic cups. The view is great though. Definitely recommend coming up and at least having a look.
Hannah — Google review
I just feel like for $60 for 2 sandwiches, 1 alcoholic beverage and 1 soda they could have at least put out some tables. The view was great, the art was okay I guess.
RE C — Google review
The Cantor Roof Garden Bar at the Met is an excellent place, weather permitting, to view the Manhattan skyline, get a cocktail, and a bite to eat.

Use the side entrance on 8th if you live in NYC for quicker access. The bar opens late May. Amazing views and they had this artist Egypt exhibit that was so cool! Great views!
