Dim sum restaurant
Le Parc Ebisu is a charming neighborhood spot that may look like a French restaurant from the outside, but it's actually a Chinese eatery offering classic fare and dim sum. The cozy space with wood-paneled walls creates a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by its location next to a park. Despite its misleading name, this place is renowned for serving authentic dim sum prepared by experienced Hong Kong chefs.
Tasty! Very tasty! Got the 気軽set, the dumpling and soup and everything else is very good. There wasn't anything that was weak. Well seasoned, nice texture, friendly staff and nice interior means I would definitely come back again.

My hunt continues for delicious dim sum in Tokyo that reminds me of home, but so far, this place serves some tasty dim sum. The prices are double what I’m used to, but hey, guess we gotta pay the premium here in Tokyo. The restaurant itself is very nice and reminds me of a French restaurant or cute afternoon tea cafe. We ordered some of our favorite dim sum, and they were honestly pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, but good for when we’re really craving dim sum.
Karen L — Google review
Don’t GO!! Ordered a course. But the dim-sum is broken, there is no fish in the “魚料理”, there is nearly no meat in the “肉料理”, price is not super expensive but considering what we got it is not cheap at all (5k per person)
David K — Google review
Didn't order the lunch set because it doesn't give the real feel of what the restaurant can really do. So I tried to order some classics to see how it was and unfortunately I was disappointed. The shrimp dumplings and siu mai were great. The siu long baos were clearly previously frozen. The bbq pork noodles were just wrong. Noodles wrong type. Soup base wrong. This unfortunately is not very Hong Kong style and is critical to Hong Kong style food. I have to categorize this as a chuka restaurant and not Hong Kong style. There are better options out there.
Chris — Google review
A little treasure tucked away in a residential neighbourhood just a stone's throw from Shibuya. Excellent meal; 1000 yen for set dim sum lunch menu. Definitely worth seeking it out!
Gina G — Google review
Looks like a French restaurant but serves dimsum. The lunch sets have gone up in price over the years but the dimsum set is still a good deal for dimsum in Tokyo <1,500 for dimsum + veg +okayu (porridge) / rice + tapioca / anin tofu dessert.
Traveliteasia — Google review
Very authentic Hong Kong cuisine. Would love to visit again. Everything is delicious.

Very tasty dim sums in an interesting setting. Skin's a little on the thicker side but nicely chewy. Filling was well-balanced with good flavors.

Dim sum restaurant
Nestled near Ginza Station, Paradise Dynasty Ginza is a part of a renowned Singaporean Chinese restaurant chain. The eatery is celebrated for its vibrant 8 Flavored Xiao Long Bao, meticulously crafted by skilled dim sum artisans. Each of the eight xiao long bao boasts a distinct color and flavor, offering a delightful culinary experience. Visitors can expect COVID-19 preventive measures such as hand sanitizer at the entrance and acrylic partitions between tables.
5 stars for lunch menu. Their dumplings signature dish is really good and convenient if you get it in a set menu (12~2pm), about ¥2,200 yen; the dumpling's cover is not too thick and the different dumpling feelings are quite good (truffles one highly recommend); the dish only has 1 flavor of each so if you have company I recommend you to order more than one.
Jesús R — Google review
Ordered the truffle XLB but the truffle taste is not strong at all. The fried rice does not have enough taste and wok hei. The portions are incredibly pathetically small for the price they charge. As a Singaporean, I felt really disappointed dining in here thinking it would taste like home. It is overall very very overpriced for such small portions and everything is lack of taste.
Majesta — Google review
The food is amazing but the size of everything is so small. Spent 5000 yen for lunch for 2 and had to go to a convenience store to buy something to fill me up. It's a pity as the taste of each dish is absolutely delicious. Recommend if you want to splash out on a lunch
Boss — Google review
Don't. Don't even bother. I was all excited because it looks photogenic. And it really is but the quality is basic and the service is even lower than that. The location is nice, we made a reservation so had no problem being seated. Service was fast. The menu looks nice, with pictures and English. It's all very presentable. After our meal was finished, staff never returned unless it was to hover over our nearly finished dishes or to make us feel unwelcome. They never refilled our drinks and when we asked for more, several rolled their eyes or scoffed. Scoffed! Then they would only give us half glasses of water. We ordered a lot of food and were there for about two hours so I'm not sure why so much attitude. The food wasn't good. It's edible and not terrible but there are several other places you can go which have remarkably better food with better prices. The soup dumplings were ok and not especially soupy or flavorful. The cucumbers were saltier than they needed to be. The pork and shrimp dumplings were nice but had large chunks of difficult to chew fat. The green beans were good but light on seasoning, still good however. The fried pork buns were ok. The bun itself was nice but the filling was bland. The sweet and sour pork was terrible. The pork had clearly been prepared well in advance and was waiting to be sauced. The meat was tough and dry and the batter was bready. I will never return. There are at least four soup dumpling places in my reviews that are legitimately great.
Jesus E — Google review
Had high expectations for this place as I see it always was busy. However, it was a big let down. 8 multi colored 小籠包 you could hardly taste the difference. Regular 小籠包 did not have much soup or flavor. Sweet and Sour pork was fatty and not much to write home about. タンタンメン was a bit too creamy and easy to get tired of A bit overpriced too and I would suggest going to other places for 小籠包。
Curtis G — Google review
Xiao Long Baos were authentic and tasted almost exactly like the ones the restaurant in Singapore serves! However, I was disappointed with the spicy marbled beef lamian and the red bean pancake which I think have been altered to cater to local taste. The soup wasn't spicy at all, and although the red bean paste was definitely better the pastry was different.
Candice P — Google review
To be honest the XLB was great for being out of Shanghai or Taiwan. But the fried rice is where everything went downhill. Rice isn't Thai rice, they use Japanese rice. I'll be back for the dumplings. But stay away from the fried rice.

Paradise Dynasty is Chinese restaurant originally from Singapore. They knowns as 8 style Xiao Long Bao. You can also enjoy other Chinese dishes. In addition, original cocktail like “Paradise Sling” is good. Enjoy!

Dim sum restaurant
Chinese restaurant
Restaurant
Tim Ho Wan Hibiya is a renowned Cantonese restaurant that has earned Michelin stars for its authentic and affordable dim sum. Originating from Hong Kong, it has expanded to 12 countries, including two locations in Tokyo. The spacious eatery in Hibiya offers a family-friendly atmosphere and features a takeaway stand. Known for its delicious baked pork buns, the restaurant provides fast and attentive service, making it perfect for a casual meal with friends.
It has a “family restaurant” vibe so not great for a date, but the food and service clearly stand out. As others have said, the baked pork buns steal the show, but everything was lovingly made and had that pro, handmade, non-frozen deliciousness (the congee was also 😚🤌). Expect to pay around ¥2000 per person for a filling, varied lunch. It probably won’t change your world, but it’s the kind of place I would like to go to weekly if I lived within 20 minutes.
Pascal J — Google review
We visited on a Saturday at 11 am, and luckily, there was no wait. The baked BBQ pork buns are definitely a must-try! The other dishes were okay, not bad, but the food quality seemed a bit lower compared to what I’ve had here before. The staff were fine, nothing special.
Pang T — Google review
Date of visit: June 2024 There was a line outside, but it went by quickly. It was very busy and loud inside. Servers were nice but sometimes hard to flag. At our seat, we got an order form. The menu had helpful photos. This was my first visit at any Tim Ho Wan. I thought they earned Michelin stars in Hong Kong, so I had high expectations. They also were very crowded, so I thought maybe people liked it. However, I thought the dim sum was just okay. I guess I expected to be mind blown, but I was not. For two people, I spent about ¥4600 (roughly $30 USD at the time of conversion). Free WiFi Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom accepted.

QUOTES FROM TIM HO WAN HIBIYA WEBSITE: “Tim Ho Wan is created by Chef Mr. Mak Kwai Pui who was once a chef at Lung King Heen, three star Michelin award winner, of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong and his partner, Chef Leung Fai Keung in 2009 to offer the “authentic taste” at a reasonable price. In 2010, Tim Ho Wan was awarded a Michelin star for the authentic tastes and affordability, became worldly well recognized. Our dim sum are all prepared in the kitchen with care and strictly follows Tim Ho Wan’s original recipes.“ here we go, the “supposed corporate” Michelin STAR restaurant winner (Tim Ho Wan Hibiya - Tokyo) and the actual duo chef Michelin winners. BEWARE, this restaurant IS NOT A MICHELIN STAR, not even on the Michelin recommended list. these days, business owners would do anything to sell more and profit more, including this Tim Ho Wan. michelin word is mention twice, in one paragraph. The purpose? to get more innocent and gulliable customers to come to the restaurant, imagining the “care and strictly follows original recipe” from the duo masters themselves. well, the whole truth is, first, michelin rating IS NOT a CORPORATE thing. just because one restaurant, the head chef with team earn it, does not translate to ALL branches ratings.(though the same restaurant can lose the rating in the following year). each site are inspected individually, annually by an anoymous michelin inspector. second, how good is the “copy”? black & white fax copy good? colour jet printing good? or mobile phone capture screen good? if yes, can they sustain it for at least 360 out of 365 days? anyway, lets get down to the review, and because the owner want to give that impression, it is a michelin star worth restaurant, i will grade accordingly. i never visited the 3 star michelin restaurants, but i have been to a few 1 star ones, and what Tim Ho Wan display, what they do, what they put on the table including the food are nothing look alike. Reception & hospitality - FAILED all the 1 star michelin restaurants, their staff TREAT ME like a king and queen. Here? to enter, they make you wait in line, like slaves waiting for free food. half an hour at the hottest time of the day. outside, they do not provide chairs to sit, or better shelter management to cool yourself. second, they make you order food like a fast food chain restaurants, from QR reading and you have to do it from your personal phone. third, not only they ignore you, they do not even make the effort to provide "Leng zai" (靚仔) and "leng lui" (靚女) staff, similar to きれい (kirei) – Pretty かわいい (kawaii) – Cute or かっこいい (kakkoii). this goes physical wise and dress wise. fourth, they force you to pay the bill at the counter, while charging you 10% SERVICE FEE. what service??? really???after the extended waiting in line, self ordering, no kakkoii no kawaii, cramped seat & table and non michelin dim sum? ouchhh… 😢 Presentation of food plates, table, utensils and space - FAILED nothing stands out, in fact, poorly design interior, low ceiling that the air conditioning is reasonably close to the dining area, and the table settings are cramped, like the typical fast food chinese restaurant kind, typical chopsticks, and typical dimsum basket. Food quality - FAILED if you want to “mislead” or “misrepresent” or “assume” you are bringing 3 star michelin copy of your duo master chef, then hundreds of restaurants in the world can claim the copy too. with good recommendation from local guides, this is the typical yum cha dim sum quality you can find in Guang Zhou, Hong Kong, Singapore, LA, KL, Sydney, etc EASILY. and THEY DO NOT BRAG about michelin. in fact, i say, the porridge is red flag. very watery, not in a good way. the free black tea is sub standard, too dark, and not worthy to be served for a Michelin star restaurant. overall, unless you are homesick and miss yumcha so much, do not mind to be treated like non michelin guest BUT must pay like Michelin one, and would want to save the trip to go back home, then please do visit. or else? NOT RECOMMENDED.
Faustine M — Google review
Dimsum place with many options in the menu. The spicy wanton was really good. The stuffing and the sauce had a good balance of flavours. The baken pork buns though not my taste. It was very sweet very very sweet to be honest and the filling lacked meat big time. You can feel the cut corner in it as the inside only has a gooey paste no meat. Not too much line waited 15-20mins only.
Chandrika — Google review
This restaurant offered a wide range of Dim Sum dishes with impressive variety and presentation. The overall experience was enjoyable and full of interesting flavors, even if some dishes were a little unexpected in taste and texture. The baked BBQ pork buns, number 1 on the menu, were the highlight. They had a slightly sweet and crispy outer layer with a warm, savory filling that created a wonderful contrast. The combination of soft, buttery dough and rich pork was exceptional. Number 2 had a soft, almost slippery texture that was unusual at first but turned out to be flavorful and satisfying. The spring rolls, number 6, were another standout dish — crisp, golden and perfectly fried. They had a clean, balanced flavor that left a very good impression. Number 8 also tasted great, offering a satisfying depth of flavor, while number 11 was surprisingly good and had a distinct, pleasant taste. Numbers 13, 14 and 15 — the dumplings — were well prepared, with good fillings and soft wrappers, though they were a bit different from what I had expected. They leaned toward a slightly sweeter note, which may not appeal to everyone but showed the chef’s signature style. Number 18 was also enjoyable and well seasoned. What stood out most about this restaurant was how well it managed to combine sweetness with savory notes. The dishes had a gentle sweetness that paired with meaty fillings in an unusual but intriguing way. It might not be to everyone’s liking, but it is certainly worth trying for the experience. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, giving the restaurant a vibrant charm. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the service was quick and well organized. Overall, it is a good restaurant that delivers solid quality and an interesting culinary approach. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars — definitely worth a visit for those who want to try something new and different.
Paul O — Google review
The restaurant was very crowded, but personally, I found the flavors to be quite ordinary. The dishes weren’t as special as I had expected.
Nguyen C — Google review
We've been meaning to try this famous dim sum chain from Hong Kong for some time but the lines are always long. We decided to stick it out and it was kind of worth it! When finally seated, the service is very fast and attentive which is great. We really enjoyed their har gau, siu mai and steam prawn dumplings with chives. They also have a specialty baked BBQ pork bun which is crisp, sweet and buttery on the outside, and familiar comfort-food char siu on the inside. Only criticism that we have is that the menu is kind of limited, would be great if they had a larger selection. The items are also on the pricier side but the quality is excellent. So if you happen to be walking by, craving some dim sum, and the line happens to be short... you should line up by all means! When we came, it seemed to be business as per usual (i.e. busy!) at 3pm on a Saturday. We had to wait an hour to be seated. Be warned!

Jin Din Rou is a popular restaurant known for its delicious Taiwanese Chinese cuisine. The lunch course, especially the summer Taiwan night market course, is highly recommended and offers a variety of flavorful dishes. The xiao long bao is a must-try and is known for its delectable taste. Despite being reasonably priced at 4000 yen, the portions are generous and satisfying. Additionally, the stir-fried cashew nuts are highly praised for their exceptional taste.

(Translated by Google) I have been using it for many years. When you're not sure what to eat, you can't go wrong if you come here. It's like that. However, I feel that the temperature of the xiaolongbao has become colder more often than in the past. It's a shame as I'm looking for something hot enough to burn. The customer service of the hall staff also varies greatly depending on the person. It's like a kid standing around in a daze, or someone who's quick to clean up the dishes or come over to change the tea. My impression was that it was averagely good before. I'm sure they're busy because the turnover rate seems to be high, but I'd like them to give a raise to those who work hard...(I think they do, lol) (Original)

(Translated by Google) I stopped by at lunchtime while traveling the day before for a business trip. It seems to be a popular restaurant, so I think you'll have to wait quite a while to get in if you don't make a reservation. There was a long line when I visited, but since I had made a reservation I was able to enter straight away. The restaurant has a bright and open atmosphere, so I was able to enjoy my meal in a comfortable environment. All the food was delicious, and the service time was nice and didn't make me feel like I had to wait. (Translated by Google) My family of four visited today. We arrived around 11:10 and waited for about 30 minutes before we could enter. This time we ordered bang bang chicken, lu rou rice, xiao long bao, rice vermicelli, and corn soup. I was surprised at how quickly the bang bang chicken was served, arriving about a minute after ordering. The dishes were not too strong and were exquisitely seasoned, making them all delicious. I was also pleased that the soup was served piping hot. I thought the rice vermicelli would be stir-fried, but it was steamed in a bamboo steamer, which was light and easy to eat. I also saw white vinegar on the table for the first time, and when I poured it over my food, it enhanced the flavor and made it even more delicious. The price was a little high for the amount of food, but with the flavor I'd definitely come back for.

(Translated by Google) This is my first Taiwanese restaurant. Many of the customers were elderly, and there were also people in suits who were having business meetings. Even though it was before noon, it was almost full, and the customer turnover was fast, making it a popular restaurant where tables were filled as soon as one group left. My mother and I can't eat a lot, so we had lunch for about 2,600 yen. shredded ginger shrimp tofu shrimp chili Xiao long bao shark fin ramen The appetizers are brought out little by little, and everything is served piping hot, but as for the xiaolongbao, the soup is hot, so if you're a cat lover, you'll probably have to wait a little while or break it before you can eat it. The shark fin ramen was so large that I couldn't finish the soup😅 My mother left ramen and xiao long bao, so I had the xiao long bao, and it was a hearty lunch and kept me full until dinner 😅 It was very delicious. Dim sum restaurant
Cantonese restaurant
Restaurant
Tim Ho Wan Shinjuku Southern Terrace is an outpost of the world's cheapest Michelin-star restaurant, offering authentic and delicious dim sum flavors. The menu includes well-loved classics like pork dumplings in hot and spicy sauce and sesame balls with molten salted egg. With branches in over ten countries worldwide, this affordable yet Michelin-starred eatery is a must-visit for those seeking top-quality Hong Kong dim sum.
Coming from an ABC with an extensive experienced dim sum background, I would have to say for Japan this is pretty good dim sum. For my Cantos, however, there is not as much variety as your typical dim sum. Great Recommends: Signature dish Pork Buns (Char Siu Bao) was really good and on par. Siu Mais, Har Gow shrimp dumplings, and Pork Spare Ribs were on par as well. Lotus leaf sticky rice is bomb; it had a lot but right amount of filling inside. Alright/Okay: The Steamed Rice Rolls both Shrimp and Mushroom was okay. The Wontons were also mid as well. Congee with Century Egg was ok it did not have a lot of century egg flavor to it. Was also disappointed that they didn't have the Beef Steam roll. The panfried turnip cake was on the softer mushier side instead of the usual firm. Despite that these were okay to me, I still ate all of it so it was not too crazy bad. Got here around 11:30 am. Queue by getting ticket outside. They call you in and then there is a Part 2 upstairs for another wait. Approximately altogether 30 mins wait time. 11 dishes = ~$60 USD/ ¥9600 (not bad, same as what you pay in NYC per dish) Overall, most of the dishes were on the softer side like the steam noodles and pan fried turnip cake. Definitely recommend coming to have good dim sum as I also have had bad dim sum in Yokahoma.

Although it's advertised as Hong Kong chef/style. I felt like this place missed the mark. It did not taste like home for me. Most of the foods here had a slightly different taste than what I'm used to. The price is also a little higher than I would like. The only saving grace was the tea for me which was very comforting. Overall, I don't think I would come back. But if you have a dim sum craving, then I think this place is acceptable.
Calvin L — Google review
Very good food. Despite what everyone says for price, it's not as bad as you think. You come out with a very full belly if you order more, but if you order the right amount, it is filling and not too expensive.
Miguel T — Google review
We went for a late dinner so we didn't queue for a long time. We only waited for about 10 minutes. The place looks really big outside but most tables are only found on the 2nd floor. This place seems good for sharing. It could get quite pricey since you order everything idividually. Wished they have meal sets. We ordered several items to try. The food were okay. I did like the Deep Fried Milk though.
Aibi Y — Google review
I think most people don't realize is that Cantonese dim sum should taste light and not heavy. I was surprised that the dishes that I order are pretty close to the Hong Kong dim sum places that one too few months back. They're not quite as good just to Hong Kong ones but being in Japan it is pretty good. The portion is a little small but enough to enjoy and the price is actually surprisingly reasonable consider the location where it is at. The Porridge I thought it was pretty good, it does have the umami flavor even without the toppings. Umami flavor in the porridge comes from the soup base that they used to cook the rice in. A lot of restaurant they bypass the soup base and just cook in water. The shrimp dumpling it's good because the shrimp tastes fresh.

Came for a dinner with a work colleague at around 545pm on a Monday and was able to get in easily. Around 630 there was a long line. Food was ok, honestly speaking nothing stood out as amazing. Ordered all signigture dishes and they were again OK. Overall worth visiting once to try but don't think will be back.

Went the other day. Had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. Smaller, basic menu. I remember it tasting better before.
Roy M — Google review
I visited the restaurant on a Sunday in March after 4:00 p.m. and was able to enter without a wait, probably because of the halfway hour. When we left after 5:00 p.m., there were about three groups waiting. A stroller was allowed to enter the restaurant, but it was on the second floor with stairs only, so a staff member helped us to carry it. Baked Chashu Pao 780 yen Steamed shrimp and chives gyoza: 680 yen Shrimp yuba spring roll 780 yen Chimaki 980 yen Season's recommendation (shrimp toast) 780 yen We ordered the following. All were delicious, and I especially liked the chimaki. However, I personally felt that all the portions were small and not very cosy.

Hong Kong Café Chan Ki Iidabashi is a casual eatery that offers a taste of Hong Kong with its menu featuring classic dishes such as egg tarts, sweet buns, rice dishes, and milk tea. The café provides an authentic cha chaan teng experience, reminiscent of the popular Hong Kong-style cafes. In addition to the traditional offerings, they also serve handcrafted dim sum prepared by a chef from Hong Kong.
I didn’t know there was that authentic Hong Kong restaurant in Iidabashi. Everything was great! There were a lot of options in the menu so I ordered too much for 2 people. My favorite was Yuba spring roll, Roast pork Chicken, pork bun and milk tea. Roast pork was crispy and good! I’ll come again to try another options

Very HK style. It was really crowded. The service is like HK, too. The egg tart inside was very authentic. The cookie part was nice and crunchy but not traditionally a HK tart crust.

A travel to HK with this nested restaurant in the heart of Tokyo. Come with a complete empty stomach to enjoy the feast. Certain days are busy so reservations are sometimes necessary. Good food worth the money.

Great food I have never tried before for an affordable price! I always order the black pepper beef dish, the sauce is amazing. Then I take out egg tarts and buns on the way home, they are the best.

Everything we have eaten in this cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) is really delicious! The noodle soup, the meat bun, the egg tarts (with the shortcrust! - my favorites) were so so good! There is no English menu, but one of the young guys serving speaks very good English and helped us order. The place is casual, the prices very decent. We even ran into the old gentleman who owns the restaurant and he was really kind to us! We definitely recommend it!

severely understaffed. not very hygienic. food took rather long to come. my friend rice was decent (but had large lumps of undissolved salt which was awful). girlfriend's noodles were just awful. we were about to order the char siew but saw another table's order. it looked incredibly dry so we thankfully decided against it.

French toast brought me back memories but it was a bit small for the price. Pineapple buns were also good. Not pictured but we also had char sky and rice and was a bit disappointed in the amount of meat and the fact that the rice was regular Japanese rice

GYOPAO Gyoza Roppongi is a popular restaurant in Tokyo's lively Roppongi area, known for its Japanese-Taiwanese fusion cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The venue offers a variety of gyoza dumplings, including the titular gyoza served in rich chicken bone broth. The staff are friendly and proficient in English, adding to the welcoming ambiance.
This is well rated for good reason. Excellent soup dumplings and outstanding service. They’re caring and pay attention to you to make sure you’re having a good meal. Thanks to Resh for being so kind and bubbly. I feel like the staff are actually happy and it shows. 10/10 I’d return. As a solo diner, 4 dumplings was enough together with a side dish. Be careful - the dumplings are very hot.

Very lovely and friendly place. They have amazing dumplings and other very tasty things to choose from. There is a special beer with very creamy and rich foam, amazing. I've been there twice in a row already because I just wanted to try more items from their menu. So good. Staff was very nice and entertained me with pleasent conversations. During rush hours there may be a line forming but the wait is not long and it is worth it. Special thanks to Akane-san and Sayem-san for great service and creating a nice atmosphere.

My wife suggested that I try this restaurant while in Roppongi this week, and I am super glad that I did. I ordered ひつくち揚げ餃子 (bite-size fried gyoza), 台湾チキン (Taiwanese chicken), and 麻婆豆腐 (mapo tofu). I ate them in that order, and all were superbly delicious. I will definitely return, hopefully with my wife in tow, to explore more of the menu.

From the moment we were greeted at the entrance to the end of our meal, Resh and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They had a cute welcome sign at our table with our name on it! I love the little details, however the food is exceptional! Totally different than the regular food we've been eating around Tokyo.

Amazing friendly service. We dont eat pork so unfortunately we couldn't try all the amazing dumplings and shumai. But we did get the chicken dishes and the flavors were amazing. They felt so bad they brought out some side dish appetizer for us that is a vegetable because they knew we dont eat pork. They were the sweetest people.

Great food - the dumplings are a must have! Service was quick and the ambience was fantastic. If you don’t have a reservation, you will have to wait - this place was packed. We waited about 30 mins and it was well worth it. Shout out to our server Terry who was really accommodating and super quick with our order.

This is a true local izakaya, not a tourist spot, where they serve outstanding dumplings. The must-tries are definitely the dumplings in broth and the fried ones – both are exceptional. The atmosphere is very casual and quite noisy, but the service is extremely kind and attentive.

A cute home style place right on Roppongi that’s open late night. The server was so kind and recommended all of the top dishes to us, everything was amazing. We had the crispy chicken, fried gyoza, shumai, and the best of the bunch was the braised pork. If you’re looking for a late night meal this is the place!

Din Tai Fung Shinjuku is a branch of the famous restaurant chain, with its roots in Taipei. The local craftsmen ensure that the taste remains consistent across all locations. While it's known for its delicious food and has even been recognized as the best dish in the world, the cost is reasonable considering its reputation. Despite being similar to other local branches, it maintains a high standard.
Their xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were the highlight—delicately pleated, juicy, and full of flavorful broth. Each dumpling was consistent in texture and held its shape well, releasing a burst of umami with every bite. Their shrimp and egg fried rice was a clean and balanced dish, with plump shrimp and fluffy scrambled eggs evenly dispersed through well-seasoned rice. Their turnip cake, while small in portion, had a nice crispy edge and soft center, complemented well by the house chili sauce. A pleasant side to contrast the richer items. Their sticky rice roll had a satisfying chew and a subtle soy-infused sweetness. For dessert, their strawberry shaved ice was refreshing and visually beautiful. Generous amounts of fresh strawberries and condensed milk made for a light yet indulgent end to the meal😍
Yasuやす — Google review
I am from Taiwan. So I was excited to see that they have Din Tai Fung in Shinjuku. So I got to try it and see any difference. So I order different xiao long bao to taste them. First of all the skin of the xiaolongbao it's very much different it is much thicker. The taste also doesn't taste like the Taiwanese version. I think they adjusted to taste more like Japanese flavor. So I was kind of disappointed. I also tried the shrimp fried rice and mango ice cream. The shrimp fried rice does taste similar to the Taiwan version. And the mango shave ice, it's not your thinking of shaved ice because the ice is consist of milk and water and in Taiwan we call them 綿綿冰. Which is pretty good for Japanese version of the shave ice but there are only two mango cub 😢, and mango syrup was okay.

I went yesterday around 5pm and it was a nice restaurant! Service was good and fast! I had the Pork XiaoLongBao, pork bun, pork shao mai, and roast pork noodle soup. Everything was delicious! They had both English and Japanese menus.

This place is located at 12th floor Takashimaya Shinjuku. Is beside Uniqlo. You need to take number to wait for the seat. Order the beef noodle set come with siew lung pau. Also order the spicy wonton noodles. Both taste good. The dessert mango pin not so nice. Not much mango inside only 2 small pieces. Taste the ice with mango syurp only.

I went there for lunch on a Saturday at noon. Had to wait around 70 minutes to get a table. There’s no English menu and the staff doesn’t speak English as well - but that’s okay. Overall, the food was great, specially the truffle dumplings. Not sure tho if it is worth the wait.
Jessica T — Google review
There's usually a wait, but their system is smooth. You get a ticket and write down down what you'll order. Then you can check online via the QR code when it's almost your turn (note that it said I still had 20 minutes, but it was my turn already so best to just focus on the number before you and not the timer). I went shopping at Uniqlo next door while waiting. The service was good and food was delicious.

Manchinro is a well-established restaurant in Yokohama's Chinatown, offering classic Cantonese cuisine in an elegant traditional Chinese setting. Having been a popular dining spot for over a century, it stands out as one of the most luxurious restaurants in the area. Following a fire that destroyed the original 19th-century establishment, Manchinro was rebuilt to resemble an imperial palace adorned with exquisite traditional Chinese decorations.

The atmosphere is hard to rate because while it’s beautiful it betrays the rest of Chinatown being “Chinese” because most of the servers are Japanese however I do understand it’s hard to staff such a large place with only Chinese people. Food was super good I tried multiple dishes, and all were pretty authentic Chinese food. The rooms were beautiful and there were many intricate designs.
Madd I — Google review
There are so many delicious restaurants in China town but this may be my favorite! Everything we ordered came out so incredibly fresh and well cooked. The atmosphere was sophisticated and romantics . The staff is very attentive giving you fresh tea even before your pot was empty. I wish they had a few more dumpling options but everything was amazing.
Shauna N — Google review
Came here due to other reviews, but was extremely disappointed. The food is too sweet by my standards. Perhaps they’re making it for the Japanese palate, but as an ethnic Chinese American, my taste buds were overwhelmed by the amount of sugar they seem to be using. Had the lunch special at 2,800 —the pork and cabbage stir fry and the fried tofu were covered in very sweet soy sauces. The only thing I enjoyed was the ginger chicken. Also ordered the radish cakes and cabbage dim sum. Not the best. Ambiance was beautiful though.
Shane L — Google review
This restaurant was recommended by a friend. Yes, it is rather ornate. But, there was actually too much service. Maybe that is why the prices are rather high. The food lacked a lot. Our soup was rather plain, just noodles, bean sprouts and a bit of pork. The Sweat and Sour pork was not very tasty and the pork pieces were about 1/3 FAT. Later in the day we each had upset stomachs and intestines. This was the first and the last time to go there.
YukoStu — Google review
Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. Only waited 5 minutes for a seat on Sunday afternoon. Waiters were friendly and attentive. As others have mentioned, the only downside was the price. Didn’t quite feel like it was worth the money, but I would go back and tell others for try it.

Visited here for Chinese New Year eve dinner. Excellent interior. Service is top notch and the food was really good too. Probably one of the better restaurants in Chinatown. They have a good range of good quality tea as well. Highly recommended.

We visited the two highest rated Cantonese restaurants in Chinatown today. One for lunch and this one for dinner. While our dinner experience was not nearly as good as lunch, this restaurant stands on its own as a good dining option. The restaurant’s first floor dining room is ornate and we were able to enjoy live music while we ate. Service was good, but not friendly. Prices were high, but portions were large. We left happy we tried it, but deciding that we probably wouldn’t be back.

Manchinro Tenshinpo is a stylish restaurant known for its carefully presented Chinese dishes and signature dim sum. It offers a great selection of food and dim sum, with impeccable service in a wood-accented space. The restaurant provides an authentic Cantonese experience, complete with the traditional dim sum push cart for morning breakfast. While some may find the taste adjusted to fit Japanese preferences, others appreciate the unique morning breakfast experience available at this location.
I recommend to make a reservation in advance if you wanna go around noon. I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid with my family. This time, we went for lunch and had the ¥3000 course meal. It’s the lowest they have but we enjoyed very much! The service is good and very professional. There is no dress code but I changed my flip flops to heals in my car just so I can enjoy the whole atmosphere.
Sun S — Google review
When we visit Chinatown, we prefer to have a reservation at a sit-down restaurant, so we have tried quite a few in the area, but Manchinro Tenshinpo has to be my favorite! This is due to the combination of delicious food, a beautiful atmosphere and fabulous service!!! First, the food: we ordered from the grand menu and perhaps over-ordered, but did a good job finishing our shared plates because it was delicious. I love the presentation of the dim sum as well. So kawai! There are also some dishes you might not find elsewhere - like jellyfish (so good)! Our food came out a bit at a time so it seemed we always had something new to feast on. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with multiple floors. Tables are spaced far enough apart that you don’t feel crammed. There is also an option for a private room if you have 6 or more in your party. Service was excellent, refilling our drinks and inquiring about our satisfaction. However, our lead server paid special attention to our 2-year old granddaughter. She truly made our granddaughter feel like an honored guest. It was absolutely adorable and added that extra touch to an already fine meal. There were wines to choose from as well which is not always the case with Cantonese dining. Wonderful experience! Make a reservation in advance.

Real China in the heart of Yokohama. Delicious. Not cheap but it is the classic saying you get what you pay for. The highest quality ingredients including the hot tea. No corner cutting. My favorite was the sharkfin dim sum followed by my bok choy with garlic.
D H — Google review
Came here for yumcha lunch after the noon rush. Pricey but taste was good. Usual Chinese style service as staff do their best to not be viewed as rude 😂. Portion size had gotten smaller given the recent inflation but it's comparable with other eateries and yumcha prices. Instead of 3 or 4 pieces of steamed items per tray in the older days, it's more 2 items per tray. Dishes were tasty and put together with care. Appreciate the chef and staffs efforts that's gone into the preparation. The restaurant layout and interior are designed to give a finer and comfortable experience with tables spaced apart reasonably and not crammed together to maximize seating. Overall a good and pleasant experience.
Mad B — Google review
The building is beautiful and the private dining rooms look amazing but the dim sum experience was pretty awful. Nothing tasted particularly good and a lot of textures were missing - for example the bean curd skin prawn rolls were soggy and greasy. The dumpling wrappers were way too thick as well. Maybe they have a good banquet menu? The staff were faultless and lots of tea re-fills - shame the food let's the place down.
Jodie A — Google review
Overpriced and low quality food compared to the rest of Yokohama china town. We should have known when we arrived at 11:30 and it was empty. The dumpling skins we all too thick and stodgy. My wife thought they were not made on the premises. The best part was the cool building and nice interiors.
Douglas A — Google review
Great service, nice atmosphere and scrumptious food. It's regarded as one of the best in Yokohama Chinatown and I've never had reason to doubt it. That kind of quality doesn't come cheap though. Bring your yennies and enjoy! We typically order from the dimsum menu and have always enjoyed. The bigger dishes are a go to.

Had a family lunch here and made reservation prior. We were put in a nice semi private room which is great when having an active 2 year old running around. Good selection of food and dimsum and the service reminded me of some of the nicer restaurants I’ve seen in China. Food itself is decent but probably adjusted to the taste to fit the Japanese. Highly recommend making reservations if you have a big group or wanting to use the private rooms. Great for family meals, meals with customers or just with friends. Will be coming back again.

The hotel boasts 10 restaurants, including three Michelin-starred options, and an upscale spa. The lavish decor features textiles and weavings crafted by Japanese artisans using traditional techniques.
I had an amazing stay at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff at the concierge. They were not only professional but also extremely helpful, answering my question and sending my luggage go my room. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Best of all, my west-facing room let me catch stunning sunsets each evening—such a lovely little luxury that made the space feel extra special. The hotel's breakfast spread was outstanding. The restaurant is located at 38/F with a nice view. There was a wide variety of options, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes like eggs and bacon. The coffee was also excellent, a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's close to many restaurants, shops, and public transportation. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is incredibly lucky to have them on the team! My friends and I enjoyed afternoon tea service here on Halloween and it was an absolutely luxurious and magical experience. I've been to many afternoon tea services around the world and this one was easily the best I've ever been to. The ambiance was beautiful, the staff was incredibly polite and attentive, and the tea offerings were delicious and varied. The Halloween theming on the pastries was particularly adorable!! What blew me away most of all, however, was how thoroughly the staff attended to my specific dietary restrictions. I was contacted well in advance, my exact restrictions were noted and clarified, and a completely alternative tower was custom made for me. Completely unrelated to the tea service, I had to make an unexpected health-related request, which was immediately and thoroughly accommodated with the utmost respect and kindness. I truly was not expecting this degree of service, especially as I was not a guest of the hotel, and I was so touched! I highly recommend the afternoon tea service and I hope to stay in this lovely establishment the next time I visit Tokyo :)

Ahh I really wanted to like this hotel, I would give it a 3.5/5 if possible tbf. Stayed here for 7 nights. Biggest callout was definitely the service which was hit or miss. For example the french (?) gentleman who usually answered our room service calls is amazing! You'd think he owned the restaurant with how attentive and charming he was. But other staff could seem disinterested, and average, not what you'd expect from a MO in asia which are known for high class service. Random example: the woman who sat us at breakfast one morning forced my gf to go change her shoes (out of the hotel provided slippers) due to "safety" despite other guests wearing the same slippers at the buffett. Room was decent, okay size but for the tier of hotel and the price it was just average. Dated finishes, a single sink and inefficient use of space compared to somewhere of similar price like The Peninsula. Great views from the 36th floor really was the saving grace for an average room. The special Halloween themed high tea was great, which actually let us leave on a high note. Idk.. the place was nice but if we didn't get a big discount due to their 20 yr anniversary our room would've been over $1500 a night which to me is crazy. For similar price I'd 100% say stay at The Peninsula, or try one of the Four Seasons properties.

From the moment we arrived we had a 5 star experience. We booked the MO on our way out of Japan after two weeks of touring around the country for our 15 year wedding anniversary. This was our final treat on a wonderful trip. Right when we checked in we were escorted to our room, shortly after were brought a tray of fresh fruit that felt so personal and thoughtful. That evening we had a couples massage with full use of the spa beforehand. The spa was gorgeous with views that no words could do justice. The massages were phenomenal with the utmost attention to the details provided and care to make sure we were comfortable and felt relaxed. This was one of the best spa experiences we’ve have ever had. Once our spa treatment was over we didn’t have anything planned for dinner as we had been traveling all day, however, the spa called down to one of the restaurants to get us a last minute reservation to Senses (which was delicious). We had such a relaxing evening and slept lake a baby in such comfortable beds. The following day we had afternoon tea in the lounge that I had previously booked. The front desk held our bags while we enjoyed tea, as we were headed to the airport shortly after. Afternoon tea was a whole experience, with a wonderful presentation. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful in every way. None other compares. Wonderful experience.

The most beautiful hotel with top views in Tokyo, when I first arrived, I really liked their lobby, it was clean, fragrant, and magnificent. Their rooms are also big and I got a very clean room and the bathroom was magnificent. It feels like it's not enough if I only stay here for 3 days 🥹....the food in their restaurant has no failed products, everything is delicious until I'm addicted. They deserve to be called a 5-star and luxurious hotel in Tokyo.

This Mandarin Oriental is beautifully maintained. The service is top notch. Though it doesn’t offer full scale Japanese breakfast like other hotels I have stayed in Tokyo, its breakfast still is good. The view from our room was not the greatest because the tall buildings around, but the view from the lady’s spa is spectacular. The guest room itself is very spacious, and I liked its soothing nature color tone and its bamboo floor. The neighborhood around the hotel is nice and peaceful with department stores and rows of restaurants, very nice to walk. The Sushi Shin restaurant inside the hotel is highly recommended as well.

This was my long overdue and my husband’s first trip to Tokyo. Glad that we chose Mandarin Oriental for our 10 days stay. Car services between Haneda Airport to Hotel (round trip) were on time and smooth sailing. Because of our flight schedule, we arrived and checked in around 10pm, but concierge and reception were professional and friendly to make things easier. (I especially appreciated Mr. Santos at concierge who welcomed us and conversed with us throughout the time. He was very nice and hard working!) They upgraded our room to premium deluxe King size and it had a spectacular view of Tokyo (Sky Tree). We were lucky to have a shot of beautiful sunrise a few days. Room was specious, and blind and curtains kept room dark in the night to catch z perfectly. Only one thing that can be improved would be if there is a door by the shower to prevent it from watering around bathtub area. Breakfast was including on our booking every morning and we enjoyed the fresh coffee/tea and eggs/bread/fruits and yogurt. The hotel surrounding was not too loud but lots of convenience with shops and restaurants. There was underground access to nearby stores including Mitsukoshi department and subways. That was perfect especially rainy days. There was also a shuttle bus near the hotel to/around Tokyo Station. This hotel is perfect for couple like us who appreciate nice and quiet times with courtesy and hospitality. We would like to thank all staff members at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo for making our vacation memorable and comfortable!

Absolutely stunning hotel. Walking into the Lobby is a sign that good things are to come. Wonderful attentive service. Spotless. You can see your reflection in the marble everywhere. The staff here care!! Rooms are silent. Didn't hear a sound. Beds are a dream. Bathroom was an oasis. I'm a tall guy and I can get fully soaked in a wonderful tub. Amazing shower!! Had a pint n snack at " the bar " wonderful staff. Great location close to a Metro line. And a Nice park like square across the street.

I stayed at The Westin Tokyo as a Titanium member and was upgraded to a suite, which made the stay feel very special. For a Tokyo hotel, the suite was spacious and beautifully designed, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The only downside was that the room didn’t offer much of a view. The staff were excellent — warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The bell desk team and the executive lounge staff in particular went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The executive lounge was another highlight, with great food, a wide selection of drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the combination of a comfortable suite, outstanding staff, and a fantastic lounge made this a truly memorable stay. I would gladly return on my next trip to Tokyo.

A bit dated but well kept hotel oozing of old timer charms. Deco are old school but very well made. None of those cold black and white theme of modern hotel, everywhere is marble wood and copper. Location is quite far from city center but closeby a charming town of Ebisu that’s more of high end and youthful residential areas, and a big park. Rooms are HUGE by Japanese standards and offer great view of the city and Tokyo town from afar. Facilities are clean and even with a gym (rarity in Tokyo).

Fantastic Hotel especially since they did the full renovation! The staff is extra polite, helpful and amazingly attentive to all your needs. There is many restaurants in the hotel to chose from to have a great meal. The rooms are very quiet and luxurious. The gym has everything you need to execute a great workout. Highly recommend. GOOD JOB! 👏🏻

The Westin Tokyo is a sanctuary in the middle of the city’s pulse. Classic European interiors meet Japanese precision in service. Rooms overlook Ebisu’s skyline, blending calm and cosmopolitan life. The breakfast spread is legendary—Japanese and Western harmony done right. Staff anticipate needs before you speak. Everything feels graceful, measured, and human. After a day in Tokyo’s chaos, returning here feels like exhaling. Luxury not in opulence, but in ease.

A fantastic stay from start to finish! The hotel just underwent a major renovation in 2023, and it shows everything from the rooms to the restaurants feels refreshed and elevated. We booked a celebration package which included daily champagne and cute welcome amenities. Our room faced south with a beautiful view over a park and the city. The grand lobby is impressive, featuring multiple restaurants and a stunning central staircase, which is a rare sight nowadays. The hotel's dining options are excellent. We loved the sushi omakase dinner at Mai the fish was incredibly fresh, and the starters and dessert were amazing. For breakfast, The Terrace offers an incredible selection of both local and international dishes. Pro tip: come before 8am to beat the crowds and request a table on the outdoor terrace for a lovely garden view. Location is another huge plus: just a few minutes' walk from Ebisu Station and part of the Yebisu Garden Place complex with its mall, stores, and restaurants. With warm service and good pricing, we highly recommend The Westin Tokyo.

No. 1 choice if you want to feel at home and refreshed while on a short break or business trip. Staff are attentive and professional, really superb. Rooms are quality, with everything you could think of, including fab hairdryer. Our view was sooo Tokyo - brilliant. Club lounge is quiet and japanese. Breakfast, as expected, is 5 star, excellent. We didn't even see the rest of the facilities on offer, as we were too busy and our stay was shorter. However we did see a trail of wedding couples!! Thank you to the staff here, doing a great job. I didn't avail

Dim sum restaurant
Mandarin restaurant
YAUMAY is a trendy restaurant founded by Alan Yau, offering a blend of traditional Chinese dim sum in a chic setting. Located in the Marunouchi Nijubashi Building, this modern dim sum bistro features a well-curated menu that includes classic favorites like shrimp har gao and siu mai, as well as innovative creations such as venison puffs and Peking duck dumplings.
Their dim sum was truly exceptional! I ordered all the dishes marked with the blue ticks, and they easily ranked among the best dim sum I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite was a perfect balance of flavors and textures, with the delicate craftsmanship shining through each dish. The variety, from perfectly steamed dumplings to the beautifully crafted buns, offered a delicious journey that left me wanting more. It’s just amazing😍
Yasuやす — Google review
Delicious! We had some of the best dim sum we've ever tasted here. We ordered most of the dishes with the blue checkmarks (the restaurant’s top picks) plus a few extras, and honestly, everything was amazing. The flavors were spot on across the board. The music was a little loud at times, but it added to the lively vibe. If you manage to snag a reservation, you're definitely in for a treat.
Hannah G — Google review
I swear this is the best dim sum I’ve ever had. And I have had a lot, where I am from, Vancouver, we have a huge hongkong population and insane amount of dim sum restaurants, and none of them are as good as this place, and I’ve had many. Even though the price is high, I am 100% going to bring my parents there and treat them a nice dinner.
Simba ( — Google review
I’m not sure how authentic the yamcha / dimsum is but this is definitely one of the best new restaurants in Tokyo. The food is incredible. Clever and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful. Could sit there all day gently grazing. No complaints on service either. For any complaining about the price? Of course it’s more expensive. The food is amazing. It’s well staffed. And it’s a few hundred yards away from both Tokyo station and the Imperial Palace. The interior design is spectacular. I’d be back even if they stacked the menu by 2 or 3X. Well done!

One of the Best Meals We Had in Tokyo – Mainly Thanks to the Service This was easily one of the best meals we had during our time in Tokyo, and that was largely down to the exceptional service. Whoever our waiter was that night honestly deserves a raise. To start with, I have to say this was probably the best service we’ve ever received at a restaurant – even compared to some Michelin-starred places. We had two staff members looking after our table, and they struck the perfect balance: attentive at just the right moments, without ever being intrusive. They changed our plates regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and were genuinely warm and welcoming. Just perfect. We were originally seated at the back of the restaurant facing a wall, so we asked if we could move to a seat that faced inwards towards the kitchen. Even though the restaurant was busy and we had booked our table three months in advance, they accommodated our request within five minutes. That gesture really stood out. The Food & Pricing The food was great overall, though not everything quite hit the mark. The standout dish was the prawn cheung fun – easily the best I’ve ever had. The char siu bao was solid. The dumplings weren’t for me, but that’s more about personal taste. My partner really enjoyed the duck spring rolls. The pak choi was fine, but quite expensive for what it was – maybe just not to our taste. The prawn toast was fantastic – some of the best I’ve had – though let down a bit by the presentation. Another table received theirs on a long plate with the pieces neatly spaced out, while ours came in a small bowl, which didn’t do it justice. A small thing, but memorable because the dish itself was so good. The venison puff was nice, though we would’ve appreciated a slightly larger portion. The jasmine ribs were a let-down, unfortunately. We chose them over the duck pancakes for something different, but they were a bit too smoky and not very meaty. For one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, they didn’t quite deliver. In hindsight, we should’ve stuck with the duck. It would be great if there were other flavour options for the ribs. We finished with the custard buns, which were a perfect end to the meal – warm, comforting, and delicious. Overall Impression The service here is truly top-tier, and the dishes we liked, we really liked. The ones we didn’t enjoy felt like a noticeable drop in quality, which was a little surprising. Still, the high points made it all worthwhile. Would definitely recommend this restaurant – it’s on the pricier side for Tokyo, but the experience and service make it well worth it.

The Har gow dumplings were excellent and filled with a lot of shrimp. The Crispy Aromatic Duck plate was on point - crispy on outside and soft on the inside! The roasted pork was sweet and smoky like in flavor - very good. Overall great restaurant and highly Recommended. Also the black sesame dessert was very interesting - it was like mini black sesame fondant rice ball

2025.8.30 We went again today! The quality is not changed. All are reasonable and service is very good. Look like price is increased. But well i do understand because all things in Japan is getting expensive. We booked a course for lunch! I think not a big course but we full filed a lot! Everything here I can say that it’s very perfect maybe the best Chinese food in tokyo that I ever had now! Especially the castard bao! Very similar to Thailand. I do love it!!

OMG, this might just became my favorite dim sum place in Tokyo. I do go to a lot of different dim sum places all over the world but this place went above and beyond my expectations. Every dishes I ordered was fantastic and service here is top notch. I didn’t make reservations so I ended up in their terrace but that was so beautiful too. Everything here was great but the sesame balls here blew my mind. I loved it so much that I ordered lots of them to take home to give away to my family and friends. Lol highly highly recommended

Tousenkaku is a contemporary Chinese restaurant with a mysterious ambiance, featuring private dining rooms concealed behind dark wood panels and grey stone walls. The menu boasts an extensive selection of Chinese classics prepared with Japanese precision, including steamed chicken with scallion sauce, braised trotter, daikon radish cake, Peking duck rolled in thin crepes, Mapo tofu, and steamed dim sum dumplings.
Second time dining here a year apart and never disappoints. Upmarket Chinese with all the Western classics like peking duck, spring rolls and evening dim sum. Atmosphere is next level and service was outstanding. Thanks again for a great evening.

Everything about this Chinese restaurant was exceptional, from the beautifully presented dishes to the rich, authentic flavors. The rice wine and apricot wine were amazing. The staff were attentive and professional, making us feel truly cared for throughout the meal. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, perfect for a relaxing evening. I loved every dish and would love to come back! The only drawback was that it took quite a while for the food to be served.
Jem P — Google review
An excellent Chinese restaurant. The menu is extensive and gives you an overwhelming choice of delicious options which all look delicious. Everything you order they divide before serving so that each person gets their own plate. I loved everything that was ordered but my personal stand outs were the Shanghai crab noodles, stir fried squid with shiso, all of their spring rolls and the steamed snapper. Also leave room for dessert! Their fried banana and sweet potato ice cream was delicious. Staff were also incredibly attentive. Only issue for the evening was we realized we never received our Mapo tofu and the bill at the end is not itemized so we could work out if we paid for it…

This places defines service. The amount of consideration that goes into every action they make is really commendable. The restaurant decor exudes taste with the textured cold walls against the dark wooden cabinetry. The wine list was outstanding and thoughtfully chosen to pair well with all the dishes. Coming from Toronto I thought I knew good Chinese food but this spot is so far ahead I was in awe. Highly, highly recommend to anyone thinking if they should go.

High-end Chinese food (mostly their version of Sichuan and Cantonese dishes) in mini portion sizes, so you can try a lot. But the cost really adds up - basically ¥300-600 per bite. They were strangely out of a number of items on my visit (no chashu?), but I'd still be happy to return here.

We stopped in here for a nighttime meal. It’s a unique take on Chinese. We had: 1️⃣ snow pea leaves - amazing, hands down the best preparation of this dish I’ve ever had 2️⃣ mapo tofu - ok. My sister is a vegetarian and they were very accommodating in replacing the ground pork with a veg option 3️⃣ turnip cake - ok. The texture was amazing but the sausage was a little overwhelming 4️⃣ seafood hotpot - the flavor of the broth was absolutely incredible 5️⃣ hairy crab spring roll - amazing Overall the food was good, service was good and it was a unique experience

Legendary Hong Kong is a casual eatery located near Ueno Park that offers a taste of authentic Cantonese cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes including dim sum, congee, roast pork, and wonton noodle soups. Visitors can enjoy tri-coloured siu mai, steamed beef dumplings, spring rolls, cheong fun vermicelli rolls, baked Charsiu puffs, and beef rice noodle roll.
One of the best Hong Kong dim sum restaurants in Tokyo. The food is authentic Hong Kong taste! You can find the most popular Dim Sum here, including Shrimp dumpling, Radish cake, Wontons noodles. The owner is very serious about the good quality, she tried her best to make the food as authentic as possible. She has imported a lot of ingredients from Hong Kong. Please come if you want to try something authentic

Authentic dim sum in Japan. Love everything ordered except the 叉烧酥. The skin is too thick and dry. Food was served warm and fresh. Would totally recommend this place to anyone who is craving for dim sum. 🥰

Authentic Hong Kong dim sum restaurant. Flavours are legitimately Hong Kong. The ingredients were fresh. The cheong fan in mixed sauces is quite difficult to find so I was glad to see that on the menu. Did the right thing and ordered it although we already ordered prawn cheong fan but they are totally different. Steamed beef balls and coconut tarts are also difficult to find elsewhere in Tokyo. The taste and texture were truly old Hong Kong style. Quite an enjoyable meal for those who miss Hong Kong food.

My friend recommeded me this restaurant for their dimsum. I would say it is tasty, but the price is too expensive. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, they'll clear up any empty plates pretty quickly to make more space. The honey roasted pork could be sweeter and I was expecting more sauce on it. The noodle was good and very QQ ... The 2nd time I visit this place, the pork rice tasted better all because of the sauce that's under the rice. The har gao was tasty as usual and the chasiu buns were delicious too! It's hard to find a good chasiu bun here in Tokyo. Fried shrimp bean curd was crunchy as it's supposed to be and the prawn is fresh. Will come here again in the future to try other menus.

Finally made it here on a Saturday morning. Ordered the staple HongKong yum cha dishes such as chicken feet, garlic ribs, crab meat rice flat noodles, beef congee with a raw egg, prawn spring roll, beef tripe and milk tea. The tea has a solid and strong flavor. Flavors are decent, portions are small. The beef porridge doesn’t contain much beef. The service is friendly and efficient. It is not a restaurant I would immediately rush back to. Expect a queue in front of the restaurant before it opens at 12pm on a Saturday.
Frances S — Google review
Scored it high due to it being Japan. It’s actually more of a 3.6-7 than a 4 (generously rounded it off). Came for the dim sum (most dishes ate shrimp). Shrimp is flavorful, but not quite up to par with the standards how it is prepared outside Japan. Although the overall experience and preparation of it as a Dim Sum based restaurant is not as good as Tim Ho Wan, the actual freshness and taste of the shrimp was better in my opinion.
Connor H — Google review
This is the restaurant that I can find real Hong Kong food in Tokyo. Their Dim Sum (點心) and Wonton (雲吞) are very good. I have tried their set lunch , with soup, main dish and dessert , it's a very good deal. I bought some Dim Sum for takeout , they were all nicely packed . My family love it so much. They are so very HK style and HK taste, I really can't find something like this in Japan. Good location, it's close to subway station and a famous temple !
Helen L — Google review
A super reasonable eatery offering Hong Kong dishes which are definitely more on the authentic side! A lunch set here which includes a small dessert will range from 800-1200yen but more likely you want to order more of their Yumcha dishes to go with it. Ordered the baked Charsiu puffs which were decent - had a good flaky outer but rather small, and also ordered the beef rice noodle roll which was a tasty throwback to proper Yumcha restaurants. Speaking if proper, they also had the exact chinese egg noodles in the shrimp wonton soup which was also light and delicious as well as the Hainan chicken rice. For Chinese Hong Kong food, it is really hard to beat this one in Tokyo!

Nestled within the vibrant Roppongi Hills complex, Grand Hyatt Tokyo offers an elegant and sophisticated stay with spacious quarters and a range of amenities. The hotel features warm woods and limestone bathrooms, along with a red-granite indoor swimming pool and a sprawling spa offering sauna, steam room, and plunge pools.
Very nice hotel in Roppongi Hills. It is a quiet property not too busy but it is centrally located. The rooms are good sized. And they upgraded me as a globalist member to a huge suite on the top floor. The spa is small with many massage chairs and nice to relax a bit. The gym is well equipped even though it is a bit small. There is a very nice indoor pool next to the gym.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo during a business trip and had an excellent experience. The hotel’s location is perfect — right in the heart of Roppongi, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and key business areas. The restaurants within the hotel are top-notch, offering a great variety of cuisines and consistently high quality. The spa and gym are also outstanding — spacious, well-equipped, and ideal for unwinding after a busy day of meetings. The service throughout the hotel was professional and attentive, making my stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo combines comfort, convenience, and luxury, making it an excellent choice for business travelers. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo for work or leisure.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo on the last night of our Japan holiday. Our room was on the fourteenth floor and we had a magnificent 180-degree uninterrupted view of Shibuya and Shinjuku (stunning). We could even see My Fuji in the distance! We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was extensive and in the very nice surrounds of the French Kitchen restaurant. The highlight for me however were the staff. We arrived at night after a six hour flight delay and the team were so accommodating and welcoming. This was consistent across every interaction we had with them. Thankyou for a lovely stay, we would love to come back again some day. Simon & Sonja.

They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant. They hail cabs for us and provided the driver instructions on where we wanted to go. Club Lounge breakfast was one of the most limited breakfast I’ve ever experienced at a Grand Hyatt and as a Globalist they give you no other option but have to eat in this lounge. Even worse is many of the popular options like bacon and sausage and miso soup were gone by 9:30a and even 25 minutes later, still nothing. It required multiple guests, including myself, to complain about the service and lack of food before they even noticed. Most Grand Hyatts treat their most loyal guests with the option of where to have their breakfast but the management here choose to cut costs and provided a limited and low level service breakfast. I won’t even stay here again, I much preferred the Andaz and Centric who offer a more positive and service oriented guest experience.

Din Tai Fung is a beloved dining destination that has captured the hearts of many, especially in Japan. Known for its exquisite soup dumplings and authentic dim sum offerings, this restaurant chain stands out among both local favorites and international competitors. While it boasts several branches across Tokyo, diners often find themselves waiting in line during weekends due to its popularity. To make the most of your visit, it's advisable to secure a reservation for lunch.

It's relatively new so the store is nice but it's fairly small. Lunch set was ok at ¥2,900 I didn't feel it was as great value for money. The Dan Dan noodles weren't the best but tasted healthy. No bathrooms in the store (need to use the public ones one floor down).

The ticket machines are staff-operated, and you take your turn by calling out to them. I was a little confused, but I was in the store in about 20 minutes. Two groups with reservations were guided first. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and there were many people, including solo travelers and couples, quietly enjoying their meals. It has a calmer impression than the Tamagawa Takashimaya store. I ordered the dim sum lunch course (2,900 yen), which is only available at the Jiyugaoka store. It was fun to be able to choose dishes, meals, and desserts, and my husband and I chose a different menu to share. The crab miso xiaolongbao is served with a piece of skin as a marker, and the attention to detail is a nice touch. It took a while for the food to be served, but we were able to relax and enjoy the delicious tea. Arrived just before noon and found one group ahead of us. The ticket machine is operated by staff, so we had to wait to be noticed. We were seated after about 20 minutes, following two reservations. The interior was calm and quiet, with solo diners and couples. Compared to the Tamagawa Takashimaya location, this branch felt more relaxed. We ordered the Jiyugaoka-exclusive Dim Sum Lunch Course (2,900 yen). You can choose one dish each from appetizers, mains, and desserts. My husband and I picked different items to share. There was a nice touch with the crab roe xiao long bao—each had a small piece of wrapper placed beside it as an identifier. Service was a bit slow, but we enjoyed chatting over good tea while waiting. Total: 5,800 yen for 2 courses ---------- Freedom Hill Din Tai Fung Visited Niszo for the Japanese festival in March 2025. By 12 noon in China, there was a customer at the front door of the store. The store clerk operates the store inside the kiln. Possibly due to busy entertainment, the clerk had to pay attention to the time, and the name was also included, and once I felt a little confused. Approximately 20 minutes after entering the store, customers with reservations for a period of time entered the store. The inside of the store is cool. I have always left Tamagawa Takashimaya branch, I have a big box, I have a good environment, I have a lot of family customers, and Jiyūnooka branch of the house, I have a small number of women and husbands and wives, I feel calm and quiet. Please note that the lunch menu is limited to Freedom Hill, and you can enjoy Din Tai Fung's invitation menu, which is extremely rich. The appetizers can be selected, the main dishes and the sweets are all the same, but the selection is actually the same. At the end, Mr. Ate-sensei has divided the items of the same products in different points. Xiao Long Bao is steamed and served in a steamed basket, and inside it, the special release of Xiao Long Bao with the crab's yellow taste is marked with a lump of noodles, and the details of the dish are impressive. Every road is open to the public, but the delicious hot tea is served by one side, and the process is also enjoyable. It was not possible to serve Taiwan directly, but the next meal experience was very pleasant, and I was grateful for the beautiful time. The lunch box for both of us is limited to Freedom Hill, each costing 2,900 days, and the total cost 5,800 days. ---------- Din Tai Fung 2025 3 years ago. (Translated by Google) [I want to drink alcohol with dim sum and snacks] With that in mind, I searched. By the way, I noticed that a new Din Tai Fung had opened in a disappointing new building in Jiyugaoka, so I decided to check it out. I visited the restaurant after 2pm on a weekday. As soon as you enter, there is a reception desk, but it is unmanned. I guess they only serve customers on holidays and during busy times. There is a person making dim sum through the window at the entrance, so if the staff has a walkie-talkie, it would be good to have them announce customers as a new role. Or fix the staff's position to a place where they can see the entrance. I walked through the concourse at the back to the seating area, and it was only when I made eye contact with the staff that they were guiding me. "Welcome, do you have any allergies?" It was a wonderfully business-like introduction, but I think it was important. I declared my shellfish allergy, which is a nightmare for Asians, and they said that the menu lists each item, so please check it. If they were going to ask first, I thought it would be a good idea to make a simple menu for each allergy. Since they asked, I thought they would do something, but since there was nothing, I think they should have just not asked and just informed me when I was seated. I ordered a platter of six appetizers, a beer, and steamed dumplings. The draft beer was Braumeister, it was great! They were a Kirin company, so they had craft beer (lol), Tokyo White and Hojun 496, and they also had a list of dim sum that went well with these, which I really liked, as it increased my desire to buy. The explanation of the platter was a bit clumsy, but I thought it would be fine just to say the menu name. It's at the very back of the unfortunate facility, so it must be difficult to attract customers, but thanks to the unfortunate facility there are no idle times, so it's a great place to go whenever you want and it's always empty. I wonder if it's crowded on weekends? I hope it's crowded, and I hope it continues to open and doesn't run out.

(Translated by Google) The parking lot is multi-level and entrance and exit are in the same place, so there is a long line on weekends. You cannot turn right from the other side of the street, so it is best to choose a route that allows you to turn left. There is free parking for a limited time at the service counter on the first basement floor. I have used Din Tai Fung restaurants in various locations, but there is also a line on weekends. It is best to make a reservation for lunch. The lunch course had a wide variety of dishes and the whole family enjoyed it. The food was served quickly and we ended up ordering a lot of extras. Thank you for the meal. (Translated by Google) I visited Din Tai Fung in Jiyugaoka. Their famous Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) were excellent, packed with juicy meat, and the flavor spread throughout my mouth with every bite. The moment I put the piping hot dumplings on a spoon and savored the soup was irresistible. The other dim sum and noodle dishes were also exquisitely seasoned and delicious, so I never got bored of them. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are very attentive. It's also conveniently located, making it a great place to stop by while shopping or strolling. I highly recommend it if you want to enjoy delicious Chinese food in Jiyugaoka. Nestled conveniently next to the East Gate of Ebisu Station, Jin Din Rou Ebisu Honten is a delightful Taiwanese eatery that exudes an air of sophistication from its stylish entrance to its chic interior. This restaurant specializes in an array of dim sum, with highlights including their signature Jin Din Xiao Long Bao and the indulgent Crab Xiao Long Bao. The atmosphere buzzes with energy, especially during peak hours when diners flock to savor these delectable treats.
We only had two noodle meals (won ton and hot and sour) which were both excellent. The meals included salad and XLB and tea. We did not need reservations on a Sunday.

This is a very fancy dimsum restaurant located on the basement floor of this building. The decor is modern but felt like I was in a salon or clothing store? The food is ok, and many people seem to order the Xiao long BAO soup dumplings. People usually have reservations but we walked in right at opening time for lunch. The combos or sets are probably the best deal. Their takeout is located outside on the first floor and the prices seem really cheap, but the items available for takeout vs dine in are completely different menus

(Translated by Google) The xiaolongbao was not particularly surprising in its taste. It may have been made in a store, but it didn't feel handmade. Lu Rohan also has a very vague seasoning, not as good as the authentic one, and not the kind that Japanese people like. Almond tofu was delicious, but 300 yen is expensive for this amount. In fact, if you're going to spend around 1,500 yen, wouldn't it be more reasonable to get something that comes with almond tofu? It's nice that there's a certain amount of privacy because there are partitions at the seats, but it feels like a crowded place. The Japanese staff's customer service is quite good, but are they Indian? You can see male staff standing in the way and unmotivated customer service. I guess the advantage is that it's in a good location near the station. [If it's helpful, please do it 👍!]

(Translated by Google) The Xiaolongbao and other dishes were very delicious. The fried rice and noodles were available in mini sizes so we could choose one for each person, but the Xiaolongbao single serving starts at six pieces, so it may be a little difficult to enjoy a variety of types. The assortment is fixed at three types (normal, oolong tea, crab meat), but each type comes with two pieces, which was good.

(Translated by Google) We made a phone reservation for our weekend lunch at 1:30 PM, just before the event, and there was no wait. For lunch, we got a set menu of Lu Long rice, thick fried noodles, dandan noodles, sanratan, and xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), which was very satisfying for 1,500-2,000 yen. A la carte orders are also available, so I always order the steamed chicken separately. Even with alcohol, I think you can enjoy a lunchtime meal for under 3,000 yen per person. It's right in front of Ebisu Station, so it's easy to find your way there. They serve free tea, which is a nice touch, as is typical in Taiwan. I prefer this place because they serve more ginger in the small dish than Din Tai Fung, which makes it feel more authentic and more like authentic xiaolongbao. It's always nearly full, so I recommend making a reservation. You can probably get in easily if you go late. If you're craving xiaolongbao, this is the place to go.

(Translated by Google) I went in for lunch in mid-October 2025. Before ordering, tea was brought to me first, and I glanced over the menu with relief. I ordered the Taiwanese ramen, which came with three xiaolongbao. While waiting for my order to arrive, I spent my time admiring the restaurant's furnishings, lighting, and the kitchen where the xiaolongbao were being made. The xiaolongbao, which were brought out first, were served with black vinegar and ginger, but the ginger was just right and didn't overpower the flavor, allowing me to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the xiaolongbao. The Taiwanese ramen. Its vibrant green color caught my eye. While other places often use chives, this one uses chopped green onions, which are not too strong but have a fragrant and vibrant flavor. It was topped with a delicious meat miso sauce with diced bamboo shoots, and the noodles were surprisingly thin. The soup was a spicy broth with chili peppers and garlic, with the chili peppers coming out first. The umami flavor hit me later. Considering it goes well with the Xiaolongbao, I thought I might try the Dandan noodles next.
