The entrance is lined with photos of famous visitors like Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, and Johnny Depp, which definitely adds to the fun atmosphere. The staff speak English well and were very friendly. The kitchen team and owner appear to be non-Japanese. While that doesn’t really matter, it does give the place a more international feel - rather than showcase a purely local taste. The music made the atmosphere so fun, it felt like I had butterflies as soon as I entered the restaurant.The food so delicious, you can watch the chefs cooking. The lighting and decoration is great as well. Theres an upstairs with more seating, and you can get a great view of the downstairs area. very cool place to eat! reservations are highly recommended as it’s a popular spot. my friend and I waited 30 mins for a table, staff is very efficient in turnover. we decided to get a bit of everything. edamame, tuna tartare, tempura, soba, chicken skewers, and this egg and rice bowl. everything was cooked well, really great, and an amazing selection of japanese dishes. would definitely recommend, especially if you’re a fan of kill bill! such a surreal experience.

I truly wanted to enjoy the authentic Japanese atmosphere here, but the experience didn’t quite match the beautiful space. Service felt a bit inattentive—we had to ask for water and most requests. We also weren’t told about the 1.5-hour limit until 30 minutes before. We initially decided not to order another bottle, but the server mentioned that if we did, our time could be extended. So we ordered more, only to be asked to move to the bar about 10 minutes after the second bottle arrived. For two people who had already ordered two bottles of sake, it felt like a significant spend, so being rushed like that was disappointing. It may have been a miscommunication, but it still affected our evening. The tempura was good, though the yakitori was unexpectedly sweet and some pieces quite tasteless. The space itself is gorgeous—and we didn’t realize until later that it was a Kill Bill filming location—but the loud music, tourist-heavy crowd, and mostly foreign staff took away from the traditional Japanese vibe we hoped for. The tipping conversation also felt unusual in Japan, where hospitality is usually warm and effortless without expectations. A beautiful setting, but overall not the experience we hoped for.

The ambiance was so sick, food was really good i highly recommend the Yakisoba and fried calamari, food came out soo fast and was super reasonable for a touristy restaurant!! I wouldn’t say it is a authentic japanese experience, but still very cool especially if you’ve seen kill bill and want to immerse yourself in a scene from the movie.

This place is fantastic! The lunch menu is great, and the chicken is so so good! And definitely get the ginger highball. The price can't be beat either. We loved our stop here! The staff was amazing too!

The rotisserie chicken was good but the pasta was definitely much better. Set lunch was more than adequate and the staff were helpful the whole time. A wonderful experience.

One of my favourite go-to places. Great food and atmosphere, great for meeting friends over lunch or dinner. I would say as far as one of the best rotisserie chicken place in Tokyo and they have fantastic deal for lunch.

We just went in for a quick dessert, and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and service. Basque cheesecake was also really good.

I love their breakfast option, I didn’t stay at the hotel you can still just pay 1500 yen per person for the buffet, good amount of options and taste good, I made myself an omurice curry as well 😊

We were tourists and almost walked away from the restaurant as we cannot just have a drink for lunch. But Abassek who served us, showed us their set lunch menu and it was really good value for money. He did a good job and we were drawn to have lunch here. And the appetiser and main course (mine was Gratin) was tasty even though the pricing was reasonable. Thankful for the service by Ling also. All in all, we had a great time and great lunch in a cozy environment , yummy food and value for money with great service.

This place is amazing , great hospitality, healthy food , the chicken is amazing and has all the protein you need . It really is the healthiest choice to go with for building your body. Also their morning buffet is amazing!

Excellent service and yakitori. The staff here seem family run and are extremely kind. They are very skilled in their yakitori art and the chicken was cooked perfectly (crunchy outside and slightly under inside). The tasting menu was a great value given how much food you get. Drinks were very fair priced and beers were on draft. I did wish they had a Diet Coke or Coke Zero. All of the different chicken variations were perfectly moist. The mushroom was insanely good and the rice/sorbet at the end sealed the deal. It’s a hidden gem away from tourists. Make sure to stop by!

Was recommended by a friend to try out the yakitori omakase at Asagaya Birdland.. This restaurant is worth a visit because they served chicken yakitori that is freshly prepared everyday. Also, you will also get a chance to experience the unusual items! The service was impeccable and the server was able to communicate with us throughout the meal! Totally love the vibes and atmosphere in this place.

Food is amazing obviously but the service here is impeccable. They’re so anticipatory, spotting any from low radish and drink levels, a drip of yakitori sauce, new hot towels once out of the bathroom and english spoken by all of the front house. Though we were the only English speakers at the seating. Easy to locate, few minutes from Skytree, ground level in a residential area. Look for exit A1 at the station when leaving your train.

Yakitori Omino is an absolute standout when it comes to yakitori. My visit here was nothing short of exceptional. The delicious yakitori they serve creates truly memorable moments. They won’t stop serving until you say so, so make sure to arrive with an appetite! Additionally, if you prefer to avoid raw items, simply let them know before they start. A great meal overall and they will feed you as many skewers as you can eat (they will charge according to the number of skewers you had so don’t treat this like other all-you-can-eat restaurants).

Save room for the rice bowl at the end of the meal! It was very difficult to get a reservation, we got one by booking one online right when reservations opened for the month.

High end yakitori that’s relatively easy to book online. I appreciated that the chef had good quality control (bad sticks were discarded after grilling, rather than served), and the location makes for a good outing together with the Skytree. Only rating it four stars taking into account value, but many high end yakitori places are priced at >¥10000/pax these days, so it’s not unusual.

The food is really nice, some of the chicken had just a bit to much salt on it. Over all it was really nice. And reasonable in price and some are actually cheap. The place is very casual but can get really smoky with ppl smoking and the chicken grill. But at the end they are very troughtfull to over the clothing spray for the smell. The seats are not that comfortable. Also they made a small mistake with our order but resolved is in a way that was in our favor so that was really nice.

If you're looking for a chill/fun place to eat izakaya and drink, I suggest coming here. The food is delicious and the drinks are even better! They have a dice game you can play if you order the highballs. If you roll doubles you get your drink for free, if you roll even # you get a regular size and if you roll odd you get the super-sized drink (or something along those lines). It's a fun game to keep the party going. Their mochi cheese stick is delicious, but I love anything with cheese (who doesn't?) I really liked the ambiance here, small restaurant so better to come with a party of 6 or less. Will gladly come back again, since our friend who lives in the area will still be around and we need a Japanese speaker to do all the ordering. 😊

Despite the name, this place doesn't sell katsu. However it is an awesome Yakatori place, and sick Karrage chicken. We also had the tuna mine & fried rice which was decent. There is a (limited) English menu, however the staff are cheery but don't speak much if any English. Drive in and have a go! Get a few mega-high balls in your rig. It has a ¥300 seating charge and a 1 drink minimum also.

I have to say, I have never been disappointed with a meal here. The gyoza is tasty and the noodles are delicious, but the vegetables are where Rairaiken really shines. In addition to the service veggies you get upon sitting down, the tanmen has a generous portion of steamy cabbage in a delectable, salt based broth. Absolutely necessary on a rainy day, or any day really. I’ve been three times and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Finally, there was not much variety, but I think this is a good thing. Places that specialise in one dish tend to do that dish very well, and this place is no exception.

They told me YAKITORI IMAI said I didn’t show up for dinner therefore they requested to charge for no-show penalty fee. That was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever hear as we clearly did dined at the restaurant and told the host we had a reservation and stated my name. Unfortunately, my friend paid in cash that night and throw away the receipt. The only proof I can share with AE was an instagram I posted which captured the food, the counter and one of the chef. As you might have expected, they didn’t believe us. I mean it wasn’t a big restaurant, we were the only foreigners, and we told them where we sat. I don’t believe they couldn’t go back to the billing record or even CCTV. Anyway, AE was very nice to absorbed the no-show fee but it was the restaurant FAULT!! Highlights include the tsunagi, tsukine, and quail egg skewers. Everything was delicious and cooked in front of us to perfection. Chef does not speak much English but was very friendly and we were lucky to have a Myanma waiter who translated many of the chef's comments and explanations. Despite the language barrier chef made sure we enjoyed each course and left extremely satisfied!
