Bar
Nestled atop the Hilton Garden Inn, Floor 13 Rooftop Bar offers a unique blend of indoor and outdoor experiences that are perfect for any occasion. This chic venue not only boasts stunning views of the Phoenix skyline but also has a spacious sundeck where you can unwind on plush chaise lounges during the day or enjoy modern terrace seating at night. The bar is steeped in cinematic history, being located in a building featured in Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho.'
Great bar with great views and great service. The bar is located on top of the Hilton garden hotel. But you do not need to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy this bar. I got here as soon as they opened right before sunset. The menu is a little bit limited but there are still some good options. I got the pork belly and it was really good. It took a while for the food to come out but the wait was completely worth it.

The views and vibe were super cool! Our server Aster was very friendly and personable. We ordered potato skins that took over 30 minutes, only 4 came for $22.. the cheese was not melted at all, the flavor was okay, but not worth the money. Our server was very nice and took it off for us. Drinks were good
Abby P — Google review
We only had cocktails, not food. Out of the 4 places we visited this was our favorite. The service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Best cocktails of the night. It was laid back, easy to hear each other and the views were beautiful. I only rated atmosphere a 4 versus 5 because of it's simplicity. The space felt a little bare. Because of the quality of cocktails, what hotel the entrance is located inside of and the online photos, I expected more decor and more upscale furniture.
Loribeth O — Google review
The food and drinks are always solid here- if typical and slightly overpriced. You're really paying for the view. I come every year for their Christmas event, because I love hot buttered rum. This year it was thick, delicious, and actually HOT! Their Christmas themed food is a win too. Normally, I'm not super impressed with Floor 13, but Christmas is the time to go. They really should look into doing more holiday themed events like this to draw in more customers throughout the year. I would have appreciated a non-alcoholic beer or mocktail option for my pregnant friend as well.

If you're looking for a roof top to enjoy the atmosphere, this is the worst one I've been to thus far in downtown Phoenix. Drinks and finger foods were limited and different from what we found online. Prices were avg. for downtown Phoenix and for what they had on the menu, prices seemed fine. The waitress did her best to accommodate with what selections were available. Personally, I drank half of my flat diet Coke through my paper straw... I definitely wasn't impressed. Lastly, I found it laughable that the food "recommendations" section for this review had dishes that they no longer have on their current menu.

If 13 is Taylor Swift's favorite number, the number 13 can't be all that bad. Located on the thirteenth floor at the Hilton Garden Inn is Floor 13 Rooftop Bar. As the name suggests, it's a bar that sits on top of a rooftop and it offers you some amazing views of the Phoenix skyline. They have an adorable holiday pop-up, Miracle on at Floor 13, that runs from Nov 21-Dec 30th, Sun-Thurs 5PM-10PM, Fri & Sat 5PM-12AM. I got the Christmasaurus ($21 - pineapple run, mezcal, velvet falernum, apricot liqueur, lime, coconut milk, toasted cumin, coffee & pineapple syrup, and aromatic bitters): I know, it's a lot of ingredients. It tasted a lot too. Boozy and complex, I'm not sure this was for me. I took a few sips before I gave it to my friend, even. For food, I got some sliders that were essentially was Thanksgiving leftovers. Turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce, and some mashed potatoes nestle in between some shiny buns. It was $21 for three sliders. Gotta love those DT Phoenix prices. And since it was Christmas themed, there was a very ornery Grinch walking around. It's a cute holiday pop-up inside a gorgeous art deco bank-turned-hotel. The views are spectacular and you'll surely enjoy the views.

Food was super basic and super high. $19 for these pretend truffle fries. They were the frozen steak fries that I buy at times for home. Unreal and the truffle was chunks of cheese that smelled bad. Needless to say, I never ate them. I had a kiwi type drink that mediocre for $23. I never need to visit this place again. The ambiance was just ok. The server however was very nice. Super small space and not the hype everyone made it to be. I did take a cute pic tho
Tasha S — Google review
I had high expectations for this place . I must admit it has great views. It’s very casual and the staff is polite. The cocktails were great unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. The menu they gave us had 8 options for small plates. We were able to order only 3 cold dishes and truffle fries. The food took about 50 minutes to an hour to reach our table. It wasn’t busy at that time to excuse the delay, there were about 5 other tables .The second round of drinks took another 30-40 minutes. I don’t know if the slow service is due to management or understaff issues,it definitely needs to improve. The menu should be updated if they can’t provide half of the options listed. It would be nicer if the servers check on you for second round of drinks and water instead of patrons trying to chase the staff. I would expect an apology of the server or manager if the service takes too long. Communication goes a long way. I tried to enjoy the moment but I don’t think it made a positive impression to recommend or re visit . We were a table of 4 and they automatically added 18% service charge. I wish them well and hopefully they improve for future patrons.

Alibi is a rooftop oasis located on the 14th floor of Canopy by Hilton in downtown Tempe, offering stunning 180-degree panoramic views. The tropical sanctuary features a pool, chic cabanas, lounge seating, and retractable glass walls. The menu offers a variety of global street food inspired by tropical coasts worldwide, such as poke bowls and crispy kimchi and pineapple rice. Guests can pair their meal with specialty cocktails like mai-tais served in tiki glasses.
Sophie was awesome, great drinks and intro’d me to the best NA beer! Awesome place to cop sunset as well!

Alibi Rooftop Lounge is downtown Tempe’s ultimate elevated hideaway! Perched atop the Canopy by Hilton, the rooftop oasis blends a vibrant yet relaxed vibe with exceptional city views. The space features chic cabanas, a pool, fire pits, and retractable glass walls that keep things comfortable year-round. Their craft cocktails and shareable bites pair perfectly with the view, whether you're catching a sunset, hanging with friends, or dancing to the DJ on Friday nights. Attentive staff, good energy, and thoughtful touches like heated outdoor areas make this place a standout scene that feels both lively and welcoming.

Highly recommend Alibi from their pear salad to the meatballs or delicious cocktails it was all great! We loved everything we tried throughout our hotel stay. The staff is also top notch - Gina, Emmy and Cody were all amazing. Definitely will come back the next time we’re in Tempe.

Dope spot! The ‘Reverse Happy Hour’ is clutch & right on time for a good food, music, drinks and views.
Randy I — Google review
The rooftop views are amazing! The service was a little slow during the late evening but the drinks and appetizers did not disappoint. Also, be sure to park valet for the 2-hour parking validation. We will definitely be back!
Sierra C — Google review
Recently I had SUCH a good experience here that I had to keep returning while in Tempe! The rooftop has a great vibe and the food was great, but Gina made the experience! From her specialty holiday cocktails to her excellent service & charming personality, she provided service and expertise that’s hard to find! Definitely returning soon to try the other holiday creations, which were as delicious as they were beautiful!

Had dinner and drinks this evening, set at the bar and the bartender on duty was very plain and as soon I order my food and 1 drink, I felt pressure by the way she ask me if I wanted to close my tap. I been staying here for the last 3 weeks from Wednesday through Saturday weekly and is the first time I felt uncomfortable when having dinner on the premises. I was fortune David showed up and took over part of the bar and started making my drinks and food. Had 4 Mules , 2 tacos and Calamari. Thanks David the drinks were 🔥🔥 . But overall, the experience and the food is great!!

Gina’s Snow on the Beach, Fashionably Festive and Spicy Skinny Margarita are some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The Snow on the Beach and Fashionably Festive were fun creative and delicious! Thanks for the fantastic drinks and service!

FLINT by Baltaire is a delightful culinary gem nestled in the Esplanade on Camelback, where Mediterranean flavors meet an upscale ambiance infused with midcentury-modern elegance. As you make your way upstairs, you're greeted by the soothing sounds of live music that sets a vibrant tone for your dining experience. This trendy spot is perfect for gathering with friends or colleagues over expertly crafted cocktails like the Flint Old Fashioned and The Girl From Ipanema.
Beautiful views! We came for happy hour at the rooftop bar. Our bartender was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. He knew all the drinks and food, was able to suggest things for us based on what we already enjoyed. The food was amazing. We ordered the chicken, pizza, hummus, and a butterscotch dessert. Everything was great.
Ariel B — Google review
I had an amazing time here, absolutely amazing, the happy hour is fantastic. The oysters are so fresh and the artichoke? It’s not on happy hour, but definitely buy it. Also, I don’t know what type of sorcery is going into that hummus? But oh my God. It’s so good.
Kai M — Google review
Had pork chop grilled skewers artichokes and cauliflower. Love wood fired flavors. Wonderful wine list. Sat at the bar. Open kitchen. Great ambiance. Free valet. Loved it!
Tina M — Google review
Stopped in on a whim to check out the rooftop. Unfortunately, it was closed for a private event so I sat at the main bar. Alex was great. He gave some good suggestions and made both of my cocktails to my liking. I tried the short rib hummus, which was a bit underwhelming. If in the area, I would give this place another try.
Kay J — Google review
Last night was our first time here and it is now added to our favorite restaurant list. We arrived at 5:30 during happy hour and sat at the bar counter. Had excellent service by Frankie and Diego. Our drinks were delicious, and the food was extraordinary. Everything was so so delicious. The atmosphere and the vibe was very chill and romantic. The barstools were comfortable. And the lighting and music were perfect. Excited to come back again soon! We went again for the second time last night and sat at the bar. CJ gave us fun, excellent service and the food was once again…amazingly delicious!

I booked a reservation for 3, to celebrate my spouses birthday with our teenage son. We had a fantastic time. I put in the notes when booking that I have celiac and must eat gluten free, and that we were celebrating a bday. They had hand written card for my spouse upon arrival. The food was delicious, our server was knowledgeable and attentive and he even brought a bday champagne toast and a bday dessert. It was a lovely time. The ambiance was nice , they validate parking in the esplanade garage. Fabulous time. And we all cleared our plates. Thank you Flint for making his bday special.
Jessica C — Google review
Phenomenal place to hang out on a Saturday evening. It is busy but make a reservation and you will be set. The dishes are pricey but well worth it. I ordered the Kabobs with the fire roasted carrots. The filet mignon and shrimp were seasoned wonderful. Mignon was so good i wished I had order a couple more skewers. I am usually not a carrot fan but I enjoyed these immensely. The charred flavors with the suttle but bold honey sauce was quiet delicious. My wife ordered the salmon. It was cooked to perfection. It is served with skin on. The crispy wonderful Mediterranean flavors were bold but perfectly blended with the subtle flavors of the fish. She even loved the crispy skin which she usually will avoid. The server was awesome. He kept us engaged and was extremely helpful. Drinks were very good. We can't wait to go again and sit on the roof top. If you are in the mood for an upscale and relaxing evening, go check out the Flint.
Jerry B — Google review
The food was great. The atmosphere inside was very cute and cozy. The service was a bit slow for being quite slow on a Wednesday night. I had the hummus, lamb with a side of Yukon gold potatoes and a martini. All very very good.

Restaurant
The Outrider Rooftop Lounge, located on the 7th floor of Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town, offers stunning 180-degree views of the city and Camelback Mountain. This chic yet laid-back lounge features handcrafted cocktails, local brews, and posh plates in a stylish ambiance with a roaring fireplace and casual seating. The terrace provides comfortable seating and cozy fire pits for enjoying drinks while taking in the breathtaking views.
The single best rooftop experience in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, much due to the high level of service and the ambiance that Lori (server) has created and strives to maintain by being an amazing mentor and leader. In addition, the views, furnishings, and food are amazing. Bonus, they don't blast the music so loud so you can enjoy your visit with friends. And a great place for a Bachelorette Party.... check out these 20 girlfriends!
Lori P — Google review
Overall a pretty solid experience for a magical night. I do recommend this venue, the food and drink menu was reasonably priced and delicious and the music was up-tempo tropical house. 4 out of 5 , will return. ______ -2 for service, 1 because my reservation was completely blown & had it not been 116° today someone else would've been there & we needed to grab a 2nd server because ours disappeared after I took too long to propose & get done with photos. -1 for food due to a high cost/ calorie/ quality ratio -1 for atmosphere for awkwardly dark / overly dim sections of the deck. Dim is nice, but bulbs being there, but non-functional isn't Hilton quality.
Brice W — Google review
This was a place with a great rooftop view of the sunset! Definitely had the view we were looking for to enjoy a few drinks and apps. The food was good, nothing to necessarily come back for, but good. I had the ceviche and the fish did taste fresh. I only saw one, maybe 2 waitresses for the whole place and service tended to be slow; but maybe because they were just busy. Our waitress was nice though! I felt bad she was just running around everywhere and people kept calling for her to get back or them. Glad we went, but maybe wouldn’t go back?
Victoria K — Google review
Outrider Rooftop Lounge feels like the rooftop brunch destination Phoenix should have had all along. Sitting on the 7th floor of the Canopy by Hilton in Old Town Scottsdale, the open-air layout offers sweeping views of Camelback Mountain and downtown Scottsdale, with comfortable lounge seating, fire pits, and a laid-back elegance that makes you want to linger. Their afternoon menu (served 11 AM–4 PM) features shareables and elevated casual bites, like turkey chorizo flatbread, poke ceviche, green-chile nachos, and tepary bean hummus, that work wonderfully for brunching in small groups or with a drink. Though it’s primarily known as a rooftop cocktail lounge, the quality of food + ambiance makes it a compelling brunch option when you want something off the beaten path. The service is polished, the design is stylish, and the setting feels elevated without being stiff.
Shane J — Google review
This rooftop lounge is the perfect blend of style and chill. The views of Camelback Mountain at sunset are absolutely stunning, and the fire pits make evening gatherings feel cozy. Their craft cocktails are creative and pair well with shareable bites like poke or meatballs. The staff is friendly and laid-back, it never feels pretentious even when it’s buzzing. A spot I’ll definitely return to!
Deborah H — Google review
This is such a cute spot in scottsdale! The rooftop has such a beautiful view and a cozy esthetic. The food and drinks were hands down better and so much more affordable than places such as maple and ash or capital grill. The intimate setting is perfect for any special ocassion or celebration. My boyfriend and I were there not too long ago and have every intention on making Outrider a monthly date night spot. We were highly impressed with out wait staff, the manager of the hotel Beth came by and was such a delight to speak with. She and her staff made our night truly unforgettable
Amber B — Google review
This was our first time here visiting. The host made a rude comment about how we didn’t hear her when we first walked in. It took 35 minutes for us to get one drink. The server came back after 20 min and asked us what we got to drink bc she didn’t write our order down and forgot. When the drinks came 2/6 of them were wrong. My second drink never came so we paid and left. I think she spoke maybe 4 words to us the whole time. The table next to us complained about having bad service from the same server we had. Drinks and plates were never cleared. The only good experience we had was that the food was decent.

Kylie was great! Excellent service! Provided great advice. Very personable and great to chat with. I would definitely recommend displays and to have Kailee as your server!!🥰

Bar
Skysill Rooftop Lounge is located on the 18th floor of The Westin Tempe, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of downtown Tempe, A Mountain, the skyline, and the Mill Avenue Bridge. It boasts being the highest open-air rooftop bar in the Valley. The only covered space is at the bar where you can order drinks and enjoy a sophisticated food menu. The lounge area provides a comfortable setting with couches for a romantic or relaxing experience.
Great location. Staff at skysill is less than satisfactory. I would have fired them all. Guy from corporate showed up undercover and they put on their smiling faces for a minute. He left, they went back to discount employees. Music was hype elevator music, food was better at Filibertos. Mind you, this has nothing to do with staff/food in the actual restaurant. They were all on point and restaurant downstairs was absolutely 💯 along with staff.
Ruben H — Google review
Easiest the favorite part of my trip, so good it was the only place i went to twice because i had to go back. Didn't eat but just the views were different,by far the best of any high rise in the area.
Sean R — Google review
The view is truly breathtaking, good music, but poor organization, you have to go to the bar to order what you want, the waiters are there, but they sit comfortably at the bar, they only come to bring the orders. few tables and placed a bit randomly, many sofas that face the pool and not the view. Too bad, because a better service would have led to a much higher rating.
Dino C — Google review
I was really disappointed with Skysill Tempe. The view is nice, but the prices are absolutely outrageous. We ordered just two beers and two margaritas — and the bill came out to $82 before tip. The drinks were average at best, definitely not worth what they’re charging. You can find much better spots in Tempe with better service and more reasonable prices. Definitely not going back.
Maggie H — Google review
Massive view from here Air-lee super nice bartender, knows how to pour any drink you want, tequila specialist. Westin knows how to treat their guests Perfect birthday, thanks!
Eddie V — Google review
The food was absolutely disgusting. The drinks were not good as well, and served in plastic cups. I think it was a complete waste of money and should’ve went to another rooftop bar, or to Chili’s or Applebees even. I never write reviews, but honestly I’m upset I wasted money here.
Jayme S — Google review
Great view and quick service at the bar. DJ Thursday night, great jams. So far my favorite rooftop bar! Will visit again.

A great place to relax, unwind and get a drink from the full bar. Beer on tap. Nearby the rooftop pool.

Don Woods' Say When is a trendy rooftop cocktail lounge located at the Rise Uptown hotel in Phoenix. Opened in June 2021, this Mid-Century style bar offers stunning 270-degree views of the city and is the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing cocktail while watching the sunset. The menu features long and refreshing cocktails, including fizzy drinks infused with tiny bubbles from their carbonation machine.
We recently had the pleasure of visiting this rooftop bar in Phoenix, and Luis and Daniel made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, his friendly and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a wonderful evening. The beautiful views of the city paired perfectly with Luis’s outstanding hospitality. Can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend asking for Luis if you visit! Thanks for taking this pic for us!

A pretty neat location and a neat space. Our server didn't know anything about drinks or even what they had in the menu. We went there before dinner and were hoping for a great experience. She definitely didn't know what she was doing. Not the end of the world, will probably try it again

The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between chic and comfortable, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy the evening. The real stars of the show were Daniel and Bella. Daniel's friendly and attentive service made us feel like VIPs, while Bella's mixology skills blew us away. Her cocktails were not just drinks—they were experiences, bursting with creativity and flavor. The highlight of my visit was the custom cocktails that Bella crafted just for me. Each drink was a delightful surprise, tailored to my taste and expertly balanced. If you're unsure what to order, I highly recommend asking Daniel for a recommendation. They know their stuff and will whip up something that'll knock your socks off. Say When truly delivers an unforgettable experience! Thank you Daniel and Bella, and I can't wait to come back.

Very poor service- particularly the waitress was not nice. We ordered 1 glass of wine and 1 cocktail it took over 30 minutes and I found our drinks just sitting on the server ledge in which I had to walk up and get our drinks myself to bring to our table. The wine and cocktail was very bad disgusting. Also, for some reason, they decided to turn off the air water misters and it was apparent that more people were coming to the patio area. This was not our first time going to Say When. However, this was the first time we experienced such horrible service. I really felt bad that I left the waitress a tip because she did nothing to serve us! I don’t know her name but she seemed to be very moody and unapologetic. My check# 35 dated 7/26/25 at 10:24p. This place is usually at the top of our list when deciding where to go out and have a drink….this place has now been removed from our list altogether!! Get your….together Say When we were very shocked and appalled!

🌇 Don Woods’ Say When – A Rooftop Gem with Room to Grow Perched atop the Rise Hotel in Uptown Phoenix, Don Woods’ Say When is a visual love letter to the city skyline. The view alone is worth the visit—an expansive, cinematic sweep of Phoenix that feels both intimate and grand. It’s the kind of backdrop that makes you linger longer, sip slower, and savor the moment. 🍸 Drinks That Dazzle The cocktail program is inventive and well-executed. The Whiskey Tart, in particular, is a standout—bold, balanced, and just the right amount of unexpected. Their mixology leans into retro flair with modern precision, and it’s clear the bar team knows how to craft a memorable drink. 🍽️ Food & Service – A Work in Progress While the food shows promise, the overall experience is held back by inconsistencies in service and operations. Wait times, attentiveness, and coordination could use refinement. There’s a sense that the kitchen and floor staff aren’t always in sync, which detracts from what could be a seamless rooftop experience. 🌟 A Pillar of Uptown Phoenix Despite the hiccups, Don Woods’ Say When is more than just a bar—it’s part of the community fabric. It brings energy, style, and a sense of place to Uptown. With a stronger focus on outcomes and consistency, it has the potential to become a true destination, not just a detour. If they tighten up the execution, they’ll be unstoppable. For now, go for the view, stay for the drinks, and keep your fingers crossed for smoother service next time.

Very nice little retro throwback bar that feels like you were transplanted back into your grandmas living room in the 60’s (in a good way). Tasty cocktails and a very comfortable vibe. We sat at the bar but would love to try the booths next time. Terrible name for a Bar but names aren’t everything. Very neat spot that we will come back to in the future.

Interesting rooftop cocktail bar with cute theme. The Venetian cocktail was good. We ordered tequila shots but they bought out the wrong tequila. However, the server took care of it and correct the shots in a quick manner.

Don Woods' Say When bar is located on the roof of the Rise Uptown hotel. The cocktail and small bites menus reflect the 70's inspo with classic drinks and choices of meatloaf and deviled eggs. Grab a table, a couch, or a seat by the fire pit and enjoy drinks with wide views of the city lights. Be sure to also enjoy drinks and food down below at the Lylo Swim Club restaurant bar. Grab a paleta at the little shop near checkin. Also, go early to browse Changing Hands bookstore.

I recently visited the Eden Rooftop Bar and was extremely impressed with the service provided. The waitress, Kay, stood out for her exceptional skills in managing a busy environment and offering great recommendations for drinks that perfectly complemented our meal. Not only did she possess a vibrant personality, but she also added a delightful touch to our dining experience. I am definitely planning to return to the Eden in the future and will specifically request Kay as my waitress.
Another hidden spot in Downtown Phoenix—totally underrated! I absolutely love the rooftop bar, surrounded by high-rise buildings—it gives such a cool city vibe. The DJ was spinning house music, and the whole atmosphere was super chill with a modern, laid-back feel. I went both during the day and at night, and the vibe was so different each time—but I loved both! Definitely a new favorite.

5 Stars! We visited Eden Rooftop Bar two days in a row, and let me tell you—Day 1 was great thanks to our server, Theo. He’s quick, friendly, and totally on top of everything. Day 2 started off a little rough without him—service just didn’t have the same spark. But then Theo showed up, and honestly, it was like the sun came out. He completely turned things around! Drinks are solid, but pro tip: skip the basic menu and ask for the real craft cocktail list—it’s where the magic is. Eden’s vibe is awesome, but Theo is the MVP.

Gotta' love a rooftop situation, the food was good, we had wings & curly fries, mostly snacks to absorb the liquor, tasty summer drinks, the DJ was great, everyone was vibing, amazing view, swimming pool, plenty of misters for sexy summer days & nights, the staff was attentive & fun. Also, CityScape is a few steps away.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Visited the rooftop bar on April 27, ordered a margarita and wings... the bar was not busy but for some reason they were having difficulty with their register when it came to check out and took my card to another register. Next day I find I was charged over $130 more my bill. I have tried to contact someone to resolve this issue and keep getting a new contact person who will "look into it" or just leave my info on voicemail or with a receptionist. Unfortunately I don't have my itemized invoice and difficult to dispute with my credit card. Beware! They over charge your card!!! Scam!!!

Eden Rooftop Bar feels like a downtown oasis with one of the best skyline views in Phoenix. From up on the 3rd floor, you can soak in city lights, South Mountain silhouettes, and the pulse of the urban scene below. The bar does a great job balancing style and comfort, plush lounge seating, fire pits, shaded areas, and cabanas create cozy nooks. Their cocktail program is creative and refined, and the menu of shareable snacks and Mediterranean-inspired bites pairs well with the setting. Even in the evening, the ambiance stays lively but not overpowering, perfect for a date night, drinks with friends, or a rooftop escape. If you're chasing a city-view rooftop vibe, Eden is one of the very best picks.

Eden Rooftop Bar at Hotel Palomar is hands-down the best rooftop lounge in Downtown Phoenix! The desert-inspired setting, with fire pits, cabanas, and a vibrant skyline backdrop, makes it feel like a chic oasis. Their cocktails are inventive (love the Garden of Eden!), and the small plates are perfect for sharing. I’ve especially enjoyed evenings during Rooftop Rhythms with live DJ sets under the stars. The atmosphere is relaxed yet curated, with great staff and a welcoming vibe. Perfect for date nights, after-work drinks, or a stylish evening out. Highly recommend! 😊

I recently visited Eden Rooftop Bar in downtown Phoenix and it instantly became my favorite spot for elevated drinks with a view. Perched on the third-floor pool deck of the Kimpton Palomar, the skyline stretches out beside you, city lights, mountain silhouettes, and the kind of open-air atmosphere you don’t find everywhere. The cocktails are inventive and beautifully presented, the lounge seating and fire pits make it easy to relax and stay awhile, and the design brings desert elegance into a rooftop lounge. Whether you’re catching sunset or heading out for a night-on-the-town, Eden hits the mark.

Initially, my husband made reservations, and as we approached the bar. We noticed that you can walk in and seat yourself. The atmosphere was beautiful, and sitting next to the fire was comforting. The staff was tentative and courteous, which was great. Our only concern was the food. We ordered lamb meatballs and the shellfish crudo. The lamb meatballs were slightly cold and cooked inconsistently. Each meatball had a different texture. With the shellfish crudo, there were missing ingredients and other ingredients randomly in the order. Once we informed the staff, they were very accommodating. We will go back to enjoy the drinks.

Pedal Haus Brewery is a trendy spot in Tempe, offering creative American cuisine alongside their own house beers and cocktails. The brewery is known for its tight selection of craft beers, including the award-winning Bier Blanche. Located on Mill Avenue, this brewpub and German-inspired beer garden offers a killer beer list and a variety of food options, including gluten-free choices.
Came here for my brother’s birthday and it was so fun! We ordered the nachos and a pizza. We’re vegetarians so it was great that we could modify the doc pizza to be vegetarian. Joe was such an amazing host! His service was amazing and he was super friendly. everything we ordered came quickly and we even got some birthday shots! You need to ask for Joe’s juice pouch and key lime shot the next time you’re here! JOE’S THE MAN!

We had a nice visit to Pedal Haus Brewery, and our server Randy really made the experience stand out. She was attentive, friendly, and handled everything with great energy and professionalism. We had a minor issue with the shrimp tacos, but Randy took care of it quickly and made sure we were satisfied. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, definitely a spot worth visiting, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Randy as your server!

Perfect patio day for lunch and people watching. We came out to Tempe on a whim today to try somewhere new to us. While I’ve seen Pedal Haus Phoenix location I’d never been to either until today. First off don’t let seeing it’s off Mill Ave stop you from coming. There’s more than a couple nearby parking garages with easy in and out access. We had no issues. Service was awesome right off the bat.. The hostess was chatty and friendly. Our waitress soon followed with waters and gave us a few moments to look over the menu. While we didn’t drink any alcohol today they had a great selection of beers and well as a full bar for those who’d like other drinks. If you enjoy neither it’s all Pepsi products here. The location is huge. The patio is dog friendly and there is so much seating. The inside was beautiful. From tables to booths, as well as of course your bar seating. There was also a live music area though no one was playing Thursday mid day. We both decided on burgers. I chose their green chili burger with season fries and my husband the classic cheeseburger. Everything came out quick and was delicious. The burgers had good flavor and toppings. Fries were seasoned well and crispy. The food menu is a bit small but you’re at a brewery so this can be typical. Food and vibe was great either way.

I have been to Pedal Haus Brewery in Tempe multiple times and have had a great experience every time. While I do not know the exact year I discovered it, it may have been in 2021 when I was looking for great places to eat within walking distance of where I work. I like the decor of the place. It is a great atmosphere that is perfect for watching sports. They also have plenty of televisions to watch multiple sports at once. They have some of the best burgers. While I have enjoyed other food items on their menu, such as their pizzas and salads, their burgers stand out the most. They are nice and juicy and cooked to perfection each time. Do not sleep on their campfire s'more cookie if you have room for dessert afterwards. It is a delicious dessert that is perfect for having after a pleasant lunch or dinner. The service is excellent. Even on busy days, they know how to keep up with everything and make sure everything is in order. In my most recent experience with one of my closest friends, our server was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If anyone is looking for a great brewery restaurant, Pedal Haus is one of the best options you can find on Mill Avenue. I will be back.

This place double charges gratuity to every drink, they add it automatically but it’s not obvious until you see your receipt. They also won’t tun a tab. They also have one of the worst womens bathrooms I’ve ever seen in all my days (I mean not in the normal way that nightclub bathrooms get messy. It is disgusting, and neither stall has a working door 🫢 we left because I couldn’t stomach going in there). They also sold me a table that wasn’t an actual table. 😅 The only positive thing about this spot is the rooftop bar, on Saturday they play house. It’s too bad the other issues just kill the vibes.

My review is mixed…not even sure if it will make a difference to the owner. But 1st thing was the windows..there are dirty, as we drove by to find parking it was the 1st let down..2nd the booth seating couches were ripped and not just a little bit.. all the booth couches have numerous holes…3rd let down were the door girls .. they were under dressed, i believe they were wearing bike shorts.. sitting on barstools… man … you can’t call this a club.. HOWEVER the music upstairs on a Friday night (house music) was off the hook! The Afrobeats and Hiphop downstairs was alright..they need to throw in a classic song from time to time. I’m gonna continue my search for a real dancing club.. and yes both dancing floors are on the small size. A Plus you can smoke in doors.

This place sounds good on paper, but when I actually went there, it was anything but. The event that was taking place during my visit was "Elevated Movement feat. Ken Ishii." It was advertised with the quote, "This November 1, Ken Ishii takes over the Bar Smith rooftop from 3 PM to 9 PM, offering a daytime twist with open air vibes, and hypnotic, raw underground techno energy." Therefore, I figured to invite a couple of friends, have some fun, and hopefully introduce them to techno as a music genre. The day of the event is when these plans fell apart. 3:00 PM rolled around, and I saw what appeared to be regular people going inside the venue, so I figured that it was open and that the event had started. Turns out, the staff were still cleaning and setting up. I asked the bartender on the rooftop if it was fine for customers to wait there. She said that it was fine, but that they would not be serving alcohol yet. While I was waiting, I decided to use the men’s restroom, located at the very back of the first floor, and noticed that there was no lock (or even an outside handle). Following the bathroom experience, I sat down on one of the couches downstairs, and a DJ began playing music in the downstairs booth. At this moment, I began talking to my friend on the phone about his parking situation when one of the bouncers came up to me and politely asked me to leave the venue, as they were still setting up. He stated that at this point in time, only staff and not customers were allowed in. My friend clocked the time at 3:03 PM (the event should have already started). After essentially being kicked out of the venue, I decided to hang with my friends until around 3:30 PM, at which point we decided to make our way to the club (again, this event was advertised as having started at 3:00 PM). When we walked in, I noticed that the floors were still sticky and dirty. This is even after giving the staff 30 extra minutes to set up. At this point, I was already disappointed, but there was still hope. Ken Ishii, a Japanese DJ with numerous accomplishments under his belt, would be playing an “extended set” from 3:00 PM to 9 PM. So we made our way to the rooftop, only to find barely anyone there. There was an opening DJ, music already playing, but no crowd. Only one person out of the maybe 6, excluding my friends, was dancing. Then we read a paper taped on the rooftop exit that said that Ken Ishii would only be playing from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This was not communicated in any email or text that I had received from either the promoter (Circuit AZ) or the venue on the days before the event. As such, my friends and I decided to leave and go somewhere else to spend our afternoon/night. My visit probably lasted no more than 15-20 minutes. While short, it gave me insight into how this bar/club is run. The building interior looked dilapidated and dirty. The back of the rooftop, which I could see through the staircase windows, looked like a disorganized storage area. As I mentioned before, the men’s bathroom door was missing a lock. The staff, while polite and professional, were not ready to receive customers at the time that the event was advertised to start. All in all, I do not fault the regular staff (or even the bouncer) for my subpar experience at Bar Smith, but rather their leader/management for failing to communicate with them and the promoter, Circuit AZ, for disingenuous advertising. As a consequence, I do not think I will visit this place again and I think my friends will not be listening to techno music anytime soon. If I could, I would like to give the management leadership a “get better soon” card. Not because they are sick, but because they could do better.

We go here just for the food 😋... Unfortunately the chef had sold out of all the catfish😭😭, but the smoked buffalo wings made up for it! The meat was falling off the bones & the greens were very flavorful 😁 We will DEFINITELY return for the catfish when they open up again!!!! The club is great & the DJs are always amazing, but the food is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌😋😍!!!!!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!! I LOVEEEE GOING HERE!!!! Security check at the front door, that is PROFESSIONAL and makes you actually feel safe. First floor has VIP seating and booths that anyone can utilize (they dont charge you for). Long bar that you can walk up to and be greeted and served right away no matter how busy they are. Bathrooms in the way back. Stairs are in the middle that are very wide steps so you dont bump into anyone or spill your drink. Second floor is dim lighting and some secluded seating. Outside upper deck is AMAZING. Another bar that offers quick and speedy service. Upstairs is a VIBE like no other bar or club has to compare. Everyone is grooving and smiling and dancing. Good vibes, good energy, and good music. You can't help but smile. Dance the night away under the stars. People watch looking off the edge down at all the drunks on the sidewalk. Mingle with all the beautiful people. ANDDDD to top it all off.....this bar stays open until 3am!!!!!! I have noticed at 2:00am/2:30am things start to get a little WEIRD and that's when I call my Uber to go home.....but this place is AWESOME. I love it and its my favorite.

The Cottontail Lounge, located in the W Hotel in Scottsdale, is a poolside lounge known for its expertly crafted cocktails and vibrant atmosphere. It offers innovative combinations of top-shelf spirits and a lively environment perfect for socializing with friends or dancing to the beats of talented DJs. Situated just steps away from popular nightclubs, this upscale lounge encapsulates luxury and excitement. Cottontail Lounge at W Scottsdale is one of my favorite rooftop spots in Old Town Scottsdale! The mid-century, chic design, comfy daybeds, and marble bar create a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere. Their cocktails are innovative and well-balanced, and the bar snacks hit the spot. I love the indoor-outdoor space, it’s got shade for daytime visits and heaters for cooler evenings. Whether you're brunching, catching sunset drinks, or dancing to the DJ on weekend nights, it’s elevated, vibrant, and fun. Definitely a must-visit in Scottsdale!

Nice atmosphere here. Asked for a NA mojito and received some fizzy lime juice with a salad of mint on top. I watched her make it and it was clear she had no idea about proportions of the mixer & simple syrup, and never muddled it. To be fair, mojitos aren’t on the menu, but also to be fair, they had no NA options. 1 star for menu not being inclusive to all guests and not knowing how to make a mojito.

We purchased tickets for a party after the WM open. It was 4 women for a fun girls night out. When we arrived and put our card down they asked for our ID. I told the waitress I wasn't comfortable giving her my ID, so she handed one back to me. When it was time for us to close out, my girlfriend went before me to get her ID and they told her they didn't have it. She asked for a manager. The manager was unhelpful, and acted rude to her and gave her no solution except... we don't have it. I finally came up after about 5 minutes and looked in my purse. They had handed me her ID when I requested mine initially, so the issue was solved very quickly and my ID was found and returned to me. I thought nothing of the interaction. We then went downstairs to find our other friend who was helping someone get an uber. When we couldn't find her, we tried to go back upstairs to get her and they barred the entry saying we were inebriated and they could tell because we were "stumbling". I had 3 drinks in 3 hours and was not intoxicated. I am a 50+ YO doctor and have never been treated with such disrespect in my entire life. I argued about getting let in to find my girlfriend. Juan (name he told me at least) insisted that he would not let me back in and to just "text" my friend and even tried to stop us from heading to the downstairs bar. It was the most bizarre interaction I have ever had at an establishment. I finally was able to convince them after about 20 minutes that I needed to find our friend so we could leave. I am still fuming. We paid money to attend this lame party and were treated like drunk 20 year olds with fake IDs. I am a titanium Marriott member and timeshare owner. I will never go back.

Atmosphere was fun. Service was terrible. Came in for a quick brunch at 11:30am on a Sunday. Ordered fairly quickly, received our drinks, and over an hour later our food still hadn’t arrived. The waitress said she would go check but never came back with an update. Another 15 minutes passed and our food arrives. We look at it and it looks like it has been sitting out for a good 20 minutes. The avocado on the avocado toast had turned brown and the cilantro looked like steamed spinach. The toast on my sandwich was rock hard and the fries cold. The plastic plate that one meal was served on was warped. The eggs started to crust over. It was pretty bad. The manager stopped by and asked us how the food was because he could tell we looked pretty disappointed. I told him it looked like it has been sitting out for 20 minutes and he said when he saw it was done it was brought up right away. He asked if we would like our food to be remade but warned us there was only one line cook so that it might be awhile. At that point we had already wasted so much time waiting around I asked for our tab (a round of drinks) so that we could leave. I’m not sure why he thought it was okay to put out food that was in that condition let alone lie about it not sitting out. I’ve worked in the service industry for years so I know what food looks like when it has been forgotten about. Anyways, attached is a picture of the very sad looking avocado toast because now all I can do is laugh about it.

My Wife and I love going here when we visit Arizona.... have yet to stay at the hotel but the host a day pool party pretty much everyday.... I believe it's free to get in during the week days and if you're NOT a guest at the hotel it's only$20 to get in on the weekend (Fri-Sun)... which honestly is not that bad considering you get a live dj as well..... drinks are pricey but it's the W, it's expected.

Best chicken I've ever hard, literally falling off the bone like it roasted for days (but not dry). Dates were wonderful too, crisp yet juicy. Hubs said ribs were delicious. Only negative is parking is a pain, but they do validate if you park in garage off Jefferson just under the hotel (even if there's an event).

The bar team deserves a medal for surviving the chaos—drinks were on point, service was sharp, and my bartender was basically doing the work of three people with a smile. The kitchen? Different story. Forty-five minutes later I was walking my sad little burger and wedge salad upstairs like contraband. The burger was dry, the bun was sad, and the wedge salad was… a crime against lettuce. I thought breakfast might be redemption. It was quicker, sure, but avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich managed to be equally tragic—fast food without the fun. Pro tip: come for cocktails, stay for the vibe, and let your stomach find happiness elsewhere.

I have to say our experience started poorly at the Eden Outdoor Bar through a series of miscommunications and misunderstandings. Details would go on too long, but every employee that we met only want solve problems and make us happy as customers and repeat customers. This would include the Food & Beverage Director who bent over backwards to ensure that we knew how important we were as customers. I can't tell you how good that makes me feel... to be appreciated and more than just a dinner check. If I could for all involved, I'd give ten stars out of ten here for service (but only permitted five). Food also first rate... served hot and timely and properly seasoned. Zero Issues and really enjoyed every bite. Atmosphere only lacked sitting outside which just wasn't available, but the cozy booth in the bar was plenty comfortable and surely a great place for our dinner. Overall, a First-Class experience worthy of repeating.

The steak salad, seafood jambalaya, prime rib dip, and calamari were all outstanding choices. A great selection of specialty cocktails and beers. I nearly licked the plate clean. To finish, we had the sundae, another great choice. We are not locals here but will be back on our next visit to Phoenix. The bartender and wait staff made our meal exceptional, too.

Rockbar Inc in Scottsdale is a large, stylish bar and concert venue that celebrates rock music. The two-story Craftsman Court bar is adorned with memorabilia, autographed drum heads, and poster-size photographs of rock legends like Dave Grohl and Billy Idol. The venue also features a beautiful terrace on the roof for casual drinks with a view of the Scottsdale sky.
It was a cool place but hot. It lacked ac and there were only ceiling fans. It wasn't crowded so that wasn't the problem around being hot. But overall good music, drinks and vibe overall.

I love this place! I have not visited very often, but each time I do I really enjoy myself. I am an 80's metalhead so the music is perfect to have a couple of beers to!! I have seen a couple of live shows here as well and both times had a blast. I was here on Saturday August 16th and the service was interesting. One bartender, the female, was excellent and provided great service, while the other bartender, the male, seemed as though he was miserable to be there. It did not interfere with my good time! Prices are good for old-town Scottsdale!

Cool little spot for a quick drink up on the patio. Downstairs was packed for a band, so we never went inside, but everyone seemed to be having a good time. Parking garage right behind the bar makes getting there easy. Couple tvs above the bar so its a fun spot to people watch on the patio and down below while also catching a game.

Solid place for some entertainment and a cold beer. The food (I had a margarita flatbread) was pretty basic. The upstairs sunroof deck was nice but loud. Prices are reasonable for Scottsdale! VictorB

We were visiting family and celebrating my son’s bday (we’re from Philly) and it felt like we were literally at a Philly bar (minus the weather at home lol)! Great atmosphere, but get there early on game days or you’ll be standing, we posted upstairs on the roof top deck, got a spot at least with bar space (met an expat from NJ, hi Gianna!) to eat some great wings and drinks! I also was the winning bidder on a signed Eagle’s jersey for a local puppy charity, ended up in the DJ booth, Ray shouted out my son’s bday and the Eagles won! Great, Great time, thank you Rock Bar for the hospitality, will definitely be back!

We have been here a couple of times and it is always hopping. This last time they had an 80's band, The Chadwicks, on a Tuesday night. They were loud and sounded pretty much like the original bands singing the songs. The DJ had the 80's video playing at the same time as the band was singing that song. The crowd sang along. It was pretty cool. The bartenders were friendly. There is an upstairs covered patio with TV's and a small bar if I remember right. The views are nice up there. The place is all about rock and roll. It can be a tad dark in there, but we like that. No dress code to speak of. Some folks were in t-shirts and shorts and others were in slacks and collared shirts. Girls were the same....from t-shirts to heels. We love this place in Old Town Scottsdale.

Rustler’s Rooste is a Western-themed restaurant located in the South Mountain buttes, offering an old-time Arizona steakhouse vibe with sweeping views of the twinkling lights below. It's family-friendly and features a tin slide for kids to play on. The general store inside adds to the cowboy kitsch atmosphere. The menu includes thick and juicy steaks, ribs, chicken, and fresh seafood, along with unique appetizers like rattlesnake.
An amazing place got the best seat in the house! Perfect patio for sunset photos. Food is amazing and expensive BUT is fairly priced for a steakhouse. Will be back asap! Same day, you can call ahead to get priority seating above walk-ins but this is not a reservation and there may still be a wait. I think this is such a considerate option for planners! They don't take actual future reservations for parties smaller than 8 but the same day feature helps to alleviate wait times. Kids got to do the slide, say Hi to Horny the Bull, get balloon animals and free cotton candy. They love coming here and us adults love love love the view, we always stop and get a family photo because the backdrop is breathtaking especially at sunset!

In all the food was good, the atmosphere was nice and it was compatible with my dads taste in atmosphere. He put his music up and it fits. The pork rib was really falling apart off the bones, and so was the beef ribs. There was a lot of carrots I had to finish up, but there way of calling the fry bread biscuits was cute. The root beer was at a 1 out of 10 for me, 7.

A Must-Visit Restaurant in Phoenix! This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by a real live longhorn out front, which instantly sets the tone for a fun and unforgettable experience. The restaurant sits on top of a hill, offering a spectacular view that makes dining here even more special. Inside, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. It’s also incredibly family-friendly — there’s even a slide inside for the kids, which they loved! Every night there’s live music, adding a perfect touch of energy and entertainment while you enjoy your meal. The food is delicious and made with quality ingredients, with portion sizes and prices that are more than fair. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Before you leave, stop by the gift shop — it’s full of fun souvenirs and local goodies that make great keepsakes. If you’re ever in Phoenix, this is an absolute must-go restaurant. Great food, great people, great atmosphere, and a view that can’t be beat — truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

First time eating here and we will definitely be back! The view is amazing. It truly blew me away like wow! The vibe and atmosphere is fun. I really love everything about this place. Food tastes homemade too. Tried the cactus fries and they are yummy. The steak is cooked exactly to order and the corn on cob is sweet and tender. The carrots taste homemade and candied. The baked beans taste homemade too. The mashed potatoes have a yummy sausage gravy too. The cocktails are excellent. Service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. I’m so glad to have tried this restaurant and we are looking forward to the next time and may have to bring family when they visit out of state.

Had to wait about ten minutes for seating even though I had a reservation, and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The food was okay and the service was just average. The best part was definitely the scenery—being seated by the window with a great view made it special. I went for my dad’s birthday and tried to make it feel fancy, and the atmosphere helped with that. There was live country music being played on stage, and the sound was actually perfect—not too loud or overwhelming. Usually in places like this you have to shout just to talk, but here the volume was just right, which made the experience more enjoyable. The only downside was the poor lonesome bull outside—standing all by himself, gazing into the distance. It was honestly depressing to see. Beautiful view, great music volume, but average food and service overall.

Jeremy was an awesome server. He recommended the double barrel margarita and it was yummy. He kept coming back to our table to check up on us. I've been here a couple times but he gave us many suggestions since we had one in our family that's never been here. Excellent place for kids because of the slide. Its also percent at night for a date night overlooking the city at night with the lights.

This was my first visit here. Atmosphere and views are amazing but that’s about it. Service was horrible and they weren’t that busy, the waitress was mia for most the time we were there. We got the cowboy platter and was very unimpressed. Some things were hot and others cold like it was sitting a while before they added the just cooked stuff. It was basically a big tray of meat with 2 small pieces of corn, 2 small slices of cantaloupe and 4 potato wedges. Other than that you are just eating all meat. The jalapeno sausage was really good I give them that. I don’t see myself going back, it’s not worth the prices..

This is a cool little restaurant bar. I sat at the bar, the service was great and everyone is friendly. They have gluten-free options which I love! The gluten-free Arcadia Lemon Chicken pizza is my favorite, I like the generous pieces of avocado that they put on it. I've gone with a friend of mine that always orders the coconut shrimp, they do look delicious. They have great drink specials during happy hour. I'll definitely be visiting more often.

Food was fine. The German Sampler appetizer was great. The burgers were good but nothing shocking in this realm. Staff was friendly and efficient. I’m torn on the atmosphere. Rainy day so didn’t get to try the patio and it was a Saturday during college football. Small cramped and loud. No fault of the restaurant but there was a party having a birthday lunch and they were acting like they had never left the house before. Conversation among ourselves at our tiny four seat table was impossible even without the birthday party. Glad we tried it but I can’t see a compelling enough reason to go back.

We visited the Attic last Saturday evening, following dinner. It was a rainy night, and we took a chance, unsure if an elevator would be available for my brother, who uses a wheelchair. We were pleasantly surprised to find one. The restaurant was bustling due to a private event on the patio, and only high-top tables were open. Though my brother was willing to make do with a high-top, Jerry, the manager, quickly noticed his situation. Without hesitation, he intervened, insisting on finding a better table that was eye-level for my brother. Within minutes, he returned with a suitable table and chairs. Jerry and his team's thoughtful and attentive actions were truly exceptional and made our evening so much better. We are incredibly appreciative of their hospitality and look forward to our next visit.

Lylo Swim Club is a new uptown Phoenix bar with a focus on cocktails. It has been awarded award-winning cocktail bars Little Rituals, Bitter & Twisted, and Don Woods' Say When on its list of accolades. The bar has a colorful and cartoony focus, with drinks like the Dole Whipped and Strawberry Sbagliato being some of the popular offerings.
First off, shout out to Luis who is incredible! We had a great pool day at Lylo. The vibes are amazing, the daybeds are perfection and the food is yummy. Service was a bit spotty but it seemed there was only one server on a slow Sunday so that may have been why.
Diti S — Google review
Great atmosphere once you’re in the pool area. At the gate, we had sandwiches with us and loudly the bartender (Thursday Feb 20) said “no outside food- go eat it on the event lawn…” Meanwhile, he could’ve at least greeted us nicely and maybe considered that we have food allergies- which I do (very gluten sensitive). They obviously want to serve you their very marked up food… their chips and salsa are NOT good- the salsa is very odd tasting and pureed. Hotel guests are also promised a free cocktail at check in from 4-6 daily. There’s no signs for it at the bar/pool area and apparently after we ordered drinks and assumed they were free… it had to be a specific one. Please tell guests this ahead of time!!? Thankfully the bartender from Monday (Feb 17) gave us our drinks free. Our servers were decent. Please work on your hospitality and food options for gluten free people!

It was my first time ever at a pool party. It was such a cute place. There was a dj... played good music. Ordered a bunch of apps.
Daisy K — Google review
I would not recommend Lylo Swim Club to families. My family and I were asked to leave because the staff claimed the kids were “disturbing guests,” even though they were not doing anything disruptive. When we questioned it, the manager changed the story and said it was a 21+ swim club. That’s misleading, since both their website and the sign at the door clearly state children are welcome as long as they are with an adult—which they were. The whole experience left a very bad impression. The way it was handled felt discriminatory, especially since most of the other guests were white, and we did not feel treated equally. If children are not actually welcome, the business should be honest about it instead of advertising otherwise.
Yadira E — Google review
Vibes that took me and my gorgeous date out of Arizona for a couple hours. Tasty drinks, really good food, and the pool was perfect + our server Trey made sure it was a 5-Star experience without a doubt.
Nathan G — Google review
I was recently here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. When we first arrived, the place seemed nice and the staff was pleasant. The website and manager told us kids were allowed so we didn’t see a problem taking our kid’s ages 9-13. When we first got in the pool it was full of leaves and cloudy. I also did not care for the music but it wasn’t a big deal. As soon as we ordered food and drinks, the hostess (who by the way appeared to be on drugs or drunk because he was slurring his words ) came up to us to tell us that some of the guests were complaining that the kids were splashing. We had our eyes on our kids the entire time and they never splashed anyone once. After that the hostess goes around to the other guests and I see him talking to them while looking at us several times. He comes back a second time to tell us that now all of the guests have complained that the kid’s were splashing. At this point the kids weren’t even in the pool, they were laying on the filthy day beds that we had reserved. We tell him that the kids aren’t even in the pool and he leaves again. He comes back a third time and tells us we have to go. He said the reason was “people pay for this 21+ experience and they don’t feel comfortable hanging out with kids around” he also said that he was refunding all the pool guests for the inconvenience, yet we didn’t get refunded anything after getting kicked out. We are always getting compliments about how well behaved our kids are and I would understand if they were splashing and annoying people, but they weren’t. It was very embarrassing to get kicked out in front of so many people especially for no reason. If they don’t want kids there they should flat out say “no kids allowed”!

Upstairs at Flint is a modern and beautiful bar in the Biltmore area of Phoenix. With views of the city, its perfect for relaxing with friends or holding a private cocktail reception. The light food menu offers wood wire pizza and delicious bites, making it the perfect place to enjoy your time in the city.
Invited my sister to join me for a nice night out at this event. We enjoyed the classic hummus that was offered for Yelpers. For cocktails I lean towards gin so I chose the Shades of Cool no.2 with pepper infused gin and aloe vera... very refreshing. We thought about sharing multiple apps because so many sounded good, but ultimately we couldn't pass up the truffle pizza. The flavors were so decadent and delicious. I wasn't going to be the person who asks for ranch with my gourmet pizza, but when our waitress offered it I figured there must be a reason. It was gourmet ranch, very dill forward, and it was amazing with the pizza crust. By this time we were stuffed, but when you're reviewing a restaurant you need to dapple the whole menu, right?! Furthermore, you need to try more than one dessert... so we shared. The butterscotch cream with sea salt was creamy and rich and a perfect choice to end on. But... we also tried the warm cinnamon sugar donuts dipped in coffee mousse. We couldn't finish it but it was so yummy as well. The wait staff were kind and efficient. The DJ kept the vibes fun. It was a nice sister date with beautiful weather and views.

We’ve visited twice in the last year—once for a birthday and once for an anniversary—and both experiences were truly unforgettable. The food and atmosphere are outstanding, and the service is exceptional. Our server, Nash, along with the entire staff (those that sat us and helped attend to our table), went above and beyond to make each celebration feel special. What an AMAZING dining experience. First, the views are spectacular. Cocktails are delicious (loved the espresso martini) but the best of all was the service. I dont remember the last time we had that level of service at a restaurant. From the hostess to our servers. NASH was amazing and offered memorable service. Thank you! If you go, ask for Nash! You won't regret it.

The best view and dinner! It is a bit out of the way if you’re not staying close by but it’s worth the drive. The view is breathtaking and you can watch the sunset while you dine. The only critique I have is the service could have been more personable. Normally they will ask if you’re celebrating anything etc.the service was great other than that. The appetizers were large portions, I ordered two and I was full. The beef tartare was great! The star of the show was definitely the dessert! We got the pumpkin mousse. I would highly recommend going even just for a drink and appetizers in their terrace room!

What a fantastic experience! My partner and I came for a nice dinner and was blown away by the views. I will say upfront that I think this place is great for a few cocktail and an app to watch the sunset. I felt the service and ambiance inside where you eat dinner to be lacking. The food was great! The steak was huge and perfectly seasoned, the chicken was so juicy and the free bread was the cherry on-top. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Great drinks and some of the nicest views around. Arrive just before sunset to experience how the atmosphere changes as daylight fades. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, and every spot offers a different perspective to enjoy. A perfect place to relax, sip, and take in the scenery.
As81 — Google review
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. However I simply can’t. The 2 stars are for the food and service. Both which were good. I had the salmon dish and my wife had a lobster special. The rice was closer to room temp than hot, but other than that the food was great. Our server, Nicholas, was also very good. He did his job very well. Even overhearing him at other tables, we were impressed. The loss of stars comes from simply that for a $200 meal, we expected a much better experience. As shown in the photos, this was our view. The main draw was blocked by a giant concrete pillar. Yikes. We showed up early and there were other tables we could have been placed at or moved to, but if I am paying that much with a reservation, I shouldn’t have to ask. The other reason is the lack of attention to detail. It was noted on our reservation that it was for an anniversary. I was looking forward to getting what I had seen other guests post for their anniversary dinners, and we got nothing of the sort. Again, just the lack of attention to detail. If I am paying that much for my meal, I expect the experience all the way around to match it. Would not come back. I would rather spend the extra $100 to go to Steak 44. TLDR: terrible view from our table, lack of attention to detail. Food and service were as good as we expected.

Sat at the top part of the restaurant, great atmosphere, food was good and the service was great. The bartender was attentive and made sure our drinks were full!!

Server Sophia was extremely rude. We sat down hoping to stay and have a good time, she didn’t even greet us before she said that we had ten minutes to order a drink or she’d kick us out. She came back a minute later with our waters and again was extremely rude as we weren’t ready to order. When we did order, one person in our party only wanted water as they were our designated driver, Sophia told us that our DD had to order a drink or her manager would get mad. Wildly inappropriate service and it honestly ruined my birthday. I won’t be coming back.

A pooping spot in a Thursday night for karaoke. You can sit outside or go inside for the karaoke. Lots of fun if you’re there wooor or coupled up or even with a big group. No cover charge when we went on a Thursday night. We left at midnight and people were still there.

Frances was soooo rude. She was basically promoting that customers drive drunk. I literally had 3 alcohol beverages when I asked for water and she told me They can't serve me water that I have to order a drink. I informed her I had already had 3 drinks and needed water then she informed me I needed to tell the waitress that she's not a waitress. Wow really. Also the karaoke dj takes people in order based on if they tip him and how much. If you don't tip him you will wait hrs while others who just got there go ahead of you several times. I was very disappointed to say the least.

Was there for a post work gathering in the evening. We had six in our party seated on a six seat table. After dinner, and several rounds of cocktails after, we had two from our group depart before we finished our last round of drinks. A person that identified herself as the manager came up to our table and demanded we buy more drinks, move tables, or leave. Completely unprovoked, minding our own businesses enjoying the company of each other at our table. What started as a great evening, ended with a sour note.

I'm a huge Karaoke fan and Grapevine has some nice aspects to its ambience, but if you are going to market yourself as a Karaoke bar, you better take your sound system more seriously and properly upgrade it. Mics cutting out and singers can barely hear themselves on the patio section (which is probably the best area to be in) is a real problem. Meanwhile the Karaoke dive bars are killin it with their sound system....get it?

Fun place for late night karaoke. Drinks weee decent. No table service have to go to the bar for drinks. Prices are fair, fun place to hang out with a group.

My friend and I had the pleasure of experiencing the worst attitudes and a bad karaoke host this past Saturday. I got dropped off to get us a table while she parked the car. I went inside and encountered the nasty pushy host. She stopped me and I told her that i was there for Karaoke and I was waiting for my friend. she nastily says I dont think there is room but I will go look. comes back and says no room for you just wait rude. I said ok, dont have to be so pushy. my friend comes in and says be right back and heads towards the bar. the hostess comes over to me and slams her hand on the table and sharply and loudly says where is she going? I dont know, bathroom, to look for our friends. she didn't go left she said. then I dont know i can't see through the wall with my back turned. we finally get back there. I turn in 5 karaoke slips with 2 songs each. Karaoke guy is not friendly right of the start cause I didn't give him a tip when I gave him my slips.i go back and tip him cause I had to break a bill and he makes it a point to not even acknowledge me. so I wait patiently for hours, the rotation starts over smoothlingly i think, then I notice I was skipped. People who came in way after me are now singing, they only had to wait 15-20mins to sing. so I ask when is my turn I think I was skipped? he says i dont know, I wasn't here when you gave them to the other guy, can you re-write them? no, so i have to wait again. Now, There was not 2 guys hosting karaoke when I gave my slips when I got there. so I go sit down tell my friend lets go, this karaoke host sucks. never coming here again. my friend goes to the bathroom and the server now comes over and slams her hand on the table and shouts rudely where did she go? I have no idea, im waiting here for her. my friend comes back and she starts arguing with the server about God knows what.i have never wanted to leave a place so fast. I will not be recommending this place to anyone for dining or karaoke. the people we sat with 2 of their party was kicked out for sitting at a reserved table that wasn't labeled and the Hostess proceeded to put her fingers in one of the woman's drinks as she was kicking them out.. the hostess lady could have asked them to move and they would have moved. no reason to eject them. the hostess lady is the face and she makes this place ugly and nasty.

Give this place a shot! The vibes are cool and the food was so good. We got tuna and white fish tacos with the potstickers. Everyone’s food around us looked so good too. It was packed with happy fun customers. People working at the bar too which is cool.

Just flew into town and it was a nice first stop. It was sunny and clean. The waiters were attentive and the food came quickly. Cute patio, assuming it's used more for fall or winter. Lol. Unique Tiki drinks. Drink menu has a ton of options.

This place is honestly such a hidden gem and really underrated! I had one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Phoenix here. The Hawaiian jerk chicken was bursting with flavor and tasted like absolute heaven, while the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. The atmosphere was another highlight—it felt cozy, pretty, and calming, which made the whole dining experience even better. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which added to the good vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending it to my friends.

Went here after work with some coworkers, it was Wednesday, so happy hour prices until 10pm. Mocktails and cocktails were the same price so why not try some fun concoction. I had a Dr.Funk drink, it was amazing, also tried the bites, yum. Definitely will be back to try some other fruity drink!

If you're near the Phoenix airport and craving bold island flavors with a modern twist, Hula’s Modern Tiki is a must-visit. Tucked away just minutes from the terminal, this vibrant, tiki-inspired spot offers an unexpected escape with tropical vibes, exceptional food, and one of the best happy hours around. We stopped in recently and were seated and served incredibly fast a huge plus when you’re on a schedule or just looking to unwind quickly after a flight. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with modern tiki decor that hits the perfect balance between playful and polished. Whether you're sitting at the bar or in a cozy booth, the place immediately feels like a getaway. The happy hour here is nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we sat down, the energy was upbeat, the service was on point, and our bartender was absolutely incredible. Personable, knowledgeable, and quick on the pour, they made the experience even better with excellent drink suggestions and spot-on execution. The cocktail menu is filled with tropical classics and creative twists, and each drink we tried was perfectly balanced strong enough to feel it, but smooth and flavorful. Now onto the food and wow. We started with the ceviche, which was light, bright, and absolutely bursting with citrus. It had just the right amount of heat, and the fish was fresh, tender, and perfectly marinated. It’s easily some of the best ceviche we’ve had in Phoenix. Next up were the fish cakes, which were nothing short of phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside, they were perfectly seasoned and served with a zesty aioli that brought everything together. The texture was spot on not too dense, not too soft and every bite was packed with island-inspired flavor. The menu has a lot of tempting options, but these two appetizers alone would be reason enough to come back. Combined with the attentive service and upbeat atmosphere, Hula’s makes you feel like you’re on a mini vacation without ever leaving the city. Whether you're a local looking for a great happy hour or a traveler passing through Phoenix, Hula’s Modern Tiki delivers a memorable dining experience. It's fast, flavorful, and full of good vibes a rare find so close to the airport. Final Verdict: A tropical oasis in the desert don’t miss the ceviche, fish cakes, or happy hour cocktails. Cheers to great food and even better service!

The fish bites appetizers were tasty but I wasn't a fan of the edamame. For dinner, the BBQ ribs with mango bbq was tasty, but unfortunately it was too grisly for me. The cocktails were delicious!

Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour, located in the historic Luhrs Building in downtown Phoenix, is a stylish haunt known for its extensive craft-cocktail menu and innovative bar bites. Founded by Ross Simon, a self-described cocktailian, this granddaddy of the group offers whimsical libations and boasts gorgeously illustrated tomes that have earned it national recognition.
Didn’t have time to try the food but the service & drinks were amazing! Such a fun, colorful, & unique menu! Out waitress was AMAZING! Great attitude! Extremely knowledgeable! Very helpful! We will definitely visit this place again the next time we are in Phoenix!

Bitter & Twisted is a must‑visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike. It pairs expert mixology and creative bites with historic charm and attentive service. Yes, it leans premium, but the experience more than justifies it. Ideal for special occasions, romantic evenings, or impressing out‑of‑town friends—all in the heart of Phoenix. The vibe hits a sweet spot—perfect for date nights or small gatherings with people you want to have a laid back but polishes time with. If you’re looking for bold flavors, ingenuity, and a bar with personality - it is definitely worth the line you may encounter on a busy weekend night. Food menu is creative, diverse and reads like an elevated fusion dining spot. Service is well thought out and timed. You can see the attention to detail and will be appreciated.

After a wonderful dinner at Wren & Wolf, we decided to end the night with our very first visit to Bitter & Twisted — and it was definitely a fun way to wrap up the evening. The atmosphere is vibrant, creative, and full of personality. The unique décor, playful menu design, and lively energy immediately make it a memorable spot for a nightcap. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the gentleman at the front door, who set such a positive tone for the night. He was incredibly kind, made sure to ID everyone, and carried himself with a professional, friendly energy. I respect the fact that he took safety seriously while still making guests feel welcome — it’s a great first impression for the venue. Our waitress was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the drink menu. As someone who doesn’t drink often, I appreciated how she walked me through different options, explained the flavors, and gave great recommendations. Her suggestions were spot-on, and I ended up loving my choice. One of the highlights was their complimentary Photo Booth, which was such a fun and unexpected touch. It was free, easy to use, and you can have the photos sent straight to your email — a great way to remember the night. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is due to the pricing and group policy. The drinks are on the pricier side (though very good), and for larger parties (anything over six), they require one bill — which can only be split into four ways. They also add a 22% gratuity automatically. As someone who’s worked in the service industry, I understand the reasoning, especially for big groups, but it’s worth noting for anyone planning to go with a large party. Overall, Bitter & Twisted is a really cool spot with great service, a welcoming and safe environment, and a unique vibe. It’s worth visiting for the atmosphere, creative cocktails, and fun extras that make the night memorable.

This is a must visit cocktail bar that I would recommend to anyone in the area! Their menu is extensive and the bar itself is super lovely to see. Our bartender did not seem too enthusiastic to be there but it was a lively experience, regardless. The drinks were super interesting and yummy! They also have a cute Photo Booth.

Wow, just wow! We had the best experience ever! Our waitress, Lo, was incredible! She joked with us, made great recommendations and just made our night super fun! The drink menu, while extremely extensive, could have been super overwhelming but Lo helped us navigate with ease and we had some amazing drinks based on her recommendations! Would highly recommend checking this place out!

it has a cute photo booth. the i had the tiny Shrimp tacos and the cheese bites. They were great. I tried 3 drink and they do not skimp on the alcohol. It's a cool vibe but it seems like it's missing a dance floor because they play awesome music through the speakers hanging from the ceiling. The service was on point.

Eat and then come here for drinks. Definitely come for the drinks. We all got a variety of cocktails and none of them disappointed us. I don't remember all the names seeing as the drink menu is a whole booklet. Servers were very knowledgeable about the drinks though and were very helpful. Tiramisu Cup was FIRE! Food was good but my fish was a little over done and the katsu sliders were very dark and the dumpling burger you can tell the patty was fully cooked on one side but barely cooked on the other side. Fries were delicious but need salt if you don't get the seasoned ones. The appetizers were good, we got the Korean Nachos (pretty tasty) and the Hurrican Popcorn (less impressed needed more furikake)

If Willy Wonka traded chocolate for cocktails and opened a bar inside a historic bank, you’d get Bitter & Twisted. This place isn’t just a cocktail lounge—it’s a full-blown experience. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance grabs you. Moody, playful, and ever so slightly theatrical—like stepping into a story where every drink has a plot twist. The menu? It’s not a list, it’s a novel. Seriously. Equal parts creativity, mixology, and magic trick. You’ll want to try everything, and somehow, you won’t be disappointed by a single pour. I had cocktails that were smoky, floral, spicy, and downright mind-bending—each one executed with precision and flair. The bartenders here don’t just make drinks; they perform them. You can tell this crew takes pride in every shake, stir, and garnish. And let’s not overlook the food—it’s not just an afterthought. From elevated bar bites to full-on flavor bombs, every dish complements the drinks with intention. It’s that rare place where the food and drinks dance in sync. Whether you’re deep in cocktail geekdom or just want to sip something incredible in a wildly cool space, Bitter & Twisted is one of those unforgettable spots that earns its reputation and then some. A true Phoenix gem—bold, stylish, and twisted in all the right ways.

Goldwater Brewing Co. is a beloved local brewery in Scottsdale, Arizona, known for its diverse and flavorful beer selection. Established in 2014, this family-owned brewery has quickly become popular for its commitment to using high-quality ingredients and innovative brewing methods. The original location in Old Town Scottsdale offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, complete with complimentary popcorn. In 2020, the brewery expanded with a second taproom in East Mesa featuring a larger space and outdoor beer garden.
This place has some seriously delicious beers. I tried them all, and both brewmasters were super friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a small place, so it can get crowded quickly, but it still has a great vibe and atmosphere. It can get a bit loud when it’s full, though. They also have hats and t-shirts for sale.

LOVECRAFT is a unique hangout in metro Phoenix that combines retro-style vibes with craft beer, cocktails, and smoked meats from the local cuisine. It goes beyond being just another bar by organizing events like tarot card readings, live music, poetry nights, running club meetups, and hiking groups. This lovely restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating areas, including a rooftop option. The atmosphere is dark and alluring. The food is delicious, the cocktails are delightful, and the beer is refreshing.
We've eaten here twice now and will definitely be going back. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is truly incredible, and the service is too notch. Everything we've ordered has been outstanding. I personally can't stop craving their smoked prime rib quesadilla! There is an absolutely stunning rooftop eating area that we have not been able to try yet because it had been 110 degrees plus since we first visited, but you can bet we'll be up there once the weather cools down. The inside dining room is softly lit and comfortable, evoking the vibe of a speakeasy. There is a full bar and their rosemary goat cheese cheesecake is one of the best desserts I've ever enjoyed. High recommend on Lovecraft!

This place has a fun vibe! If I returned I would ask to sit on the rooftop, which looks amazing. The food has a New Mexico flair for sure, with lots of green chile in a variety of dishes. I went with a bunch of friends and everyone seemed to enjoy the variety of entrees we ordered. I ordered the burrito with green sauce and it was pretty good, and came with beans and rice. Something to be aware of- They have soft drinks, but they come in a can. Our server was great, very friendly and attentive.

This place was quite a nice surprise. We drive past it quite often but for the first couple of years we thought it was a sex toy shop, because of its name, the logo on its big sign, and the outdoor chandelier that looks like it came from Phantom of the Opera. As it turned out, it’s not only a restaurant but a good restaurant, serving Northern New Mexican cuisine. We live part time in Santa Fe, where the Green Chile Cheeseburger is king. Love Craft’s version could compete with the best of Santa Fe. The menu also offers good BBQ, which makes the whole place smell great. Friends told us to be sure to sit on the roof deck, which we did, but we would have been happy to dine at the long downstairs bar or in the low-lit, funky dining room with a swanky-ish feel that keeps it from feeling like a sports bar (several TVs tuned to sports are spaced around the room). The check-in area had kind of a brothel-like feel, which I mean in a good way, which fits with the name, logo, and chandelier, and the Mother’s Day Drag Brunch. The friendly host led us to the roof deck on the cool steel staircase. The deck’s back wall is lined with live cactus, and the front railing is high enough to hide the other Cactus (Cactus Road) below, if you are seated at a table. There’s also a bar on the roof deck, which overlooks the other Cactus. The wines by the bottle fell into our sweet spot for restaurant wines (less than $50), but if you are more of a beer drinker, they have so many on tap that they have a beer-tracker TV screen over the bar, which reminded me of the Departures TVs at the airport. If you happen to have just time-traveled from the Renaissance, they offer Meade and cider too. The food and service were excellent. We’ll be back. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

This place is the spot! As a native New Mexican, I am always on the hunt for authentic NM food. The queso was delicious, the spicy margarita was just right and the GREEN CHILE STEW was amazing. I will go back many more times and bring friends. It has a great vibe and the decor is dark and moody.

I can't believe I've been driving past LoveCraft every week for the past 3 years and only just tried it, thanks to a friend's recommendation. Honestly, I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner! This place is cozy, creative, and so uniquely decorated. Everywhere you look, there are little conversation pieces that make the atmosphere feel fun and memorable. It's the kind of spot where you just want to sit, take it all in, and enjoy. The menu is pretty diverse so there's something for every mood or craving. My boyfriend and I couldn't decide, so we split the Smoked Rib Quesadilla and the Hatch Green Chile Burger. Both were incredible. The quesadilla had rich, smoky flavor that I kept going back to, and the burger was juicy and packed with flavor (just a little messy, but in that good "worth it" kind of way). One thing that really stood out, they serve water in old recycled liquor bottles, which we thought was such a cool touch. We're not big drinkers (maybe once or twice a year), but the bottle itself caught our attention, and we ended up asking for a sample of the actual drink. It was the Superstition Meadery - Peanut Butter Jelly, in case you're curious Let's just say... it was absolutely delicious, and now we have a new favorite to add to the list. (Pic in review!) The entire meal, I kept telling my boyfriend how much I loved everything. If I had to choose, the quesadilla edges out the burger just slightly for me, but honestly, both were worth every bite. Cozy vibes, fun décor, amazing food, and creative little touches! LoveCraft just earned a permanent spot on our date-night rotation. Don't wait 3 years like I did!

Rough Rider is a retro-style restaurant located beneath the Ten-O-One building in Roosevelt Row. The restaurant offers a diverse menu of Southern-style comfort food and an array of intricately crafted cocktails, including boozy tea punches and cobblers made with house-made jams. The dimly lit, inviting decor exudes a retro masculine vibe, paying homage to its namesake, Teddy Roosevelt.
The restaurant impressed with attentive staff and a warm ambiance. Initially, I ordered a pasta dish that didn't meet my expectations. However, upon switching to the duck leg, I loved the rich flavor and perfect preparation. The meal was complemented by excellent drinks and service. I look forward to returning for another memorable experience.

We had the most incredible dining experience at Rough Rider this evening. Our waitress, Olivia was attentive and extremely knowledgeable! She provided recommendations for us when we were unsure what to order and successfully guided us to heaven and back. The cocktails were unique and out of this world delicious. I am a huge mezcal fan, and the Twisted Nectar was to die for. We started with the oysters- the best mignonette we have ever had and the oysters were extremely fresh. We then had the crab dip which was like a mouth hug with delicious bread. Next for our main, we ordered the ribeye steak prepared medium rare and the cauliflower for a side. The cauliflower was the best thing we ate all night- truly a showstopper. The steak was cooked to perfection melt in your mouth good on a bed of the most decedent and delicious mashed potatoes. We then finished with the s'mores dessert which was the perfect ending to the perfect meal. 10/10 we cannot wait to go back and visit Olivia. She even brought us a little surprise when we told her that we are getting married soon!

We rolled into Rough Rider Arizona to celebrate an anniversary, and the place delivered. It’s a legit speakeasy vibe dim lighting, solid brick-and-mortar feel, and a quiet, confident energy that’s easy to settle into. We kicked things off with the baked crab dip rich, creamy, and perfectly shareable then, two standout cocktails: Game Theory and Summer George. The drinks showed real craftsmanship bold flavors with balanced finishes. The service was sharp but never stiff, with spot-on recommendations. The atmosphere has a masculine, unpretentious charm great for a conversation filled night with a partner. We left with the “we’ll be back” vibe and a sense that this hidden gem is perfect for anniversaries or any night you want a well made, low key experience.

From start to finish, Rough Rider delivers an experience that goes far beyond dinner—it’s an evening to remember. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, the food absolutely phenomenal, and the energy of the place makes you want to stay long after the last bite. Our server, Heather, was an experience all her own. She has that rare gift of perfect timing—knowing when to bring the next course, when to crack the perfect joke, and when to quietly make sure everything is just right. Her service struck the ideal balance of humor, grace, and genuine hospitality. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. The food? Second to none. Every dish was crafted with care and bold flavor, from first bite to last. And the signature cocktails—diverse, creative, and so much better than one could even expect. Each sip was its own story, crafted by bartenders who clearly know their craft. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, dining with coworkers, or just out for a casual drink and dinner—Rough Rider is the place to be. This restaurant begins and ends with a smile, and Heather made sure ours never left. Simply put, a flawless evening. Highly, highly recommend!

I had an excellent time at the happy hour here. The oysters were really fresh and the sauces to go with them were also outstanding. Also the drinks were delicious, I had a mystery punch and an old fashioned. The old fashioned was clearly well made, and the punch was very tasty.

Had to break the gate to the upstairs taco shop but we finally found our way in. Dark place, not as quiet as it should be given the setting. We had Olivia as our server, and let me tell ya, world class service! We started with oysters, fresh and briney. Wife ordered some cauliflower, which I'm usually not a fan, somehow they made it savory and delicious with amazing pickled onions. It was pretty damn good. Have I mentioned Olivia was our server? For entrees I had the ribeye and the wife had crab legs with some shrimp. The potato puree with the steak was amazing while the steak was the literal melt in your mouth. Wife was very happy with her crab legs and shrimp. For drinks we had old fashioned and sangria, both perfect. Did I mention Olivia was our server and was great? An excellent place with excellent drinks , great food and a server that was beyond compare.

We have heard about this place and wanted to check it out. So we decided to go for our anniversary! It's a cool speakeasy vibe because of needing to take the right elevator down and it being so hidden. Plus all the fun drinks! We had the artichoke and potatoes and the carpaccio for an appetizer, which was really good. Be careful though, the white swirls on the plate with the potatoes, is butter and not sour cream, 😂! For our entree I had the duck breast and my wife had the bone in pork chop! Both were very good. The duck was fantastic!! They put a char on the skin and the duck was perfect! So tasty!! In all, this place is awesome!! A little loud, but worth it!

Topgolf Scottsdale is a sprawling entertainment venue offering a high-tech driving range and a stylish lounge with drinks and games. With over 100 hitting bays, it provides full-service bars and a rooftop terrace with fire pits for an active evening in the desert. The venue also features a live music lounge at Omni Montelucia, Mbar, where patrons can enjoy specialty tapas and fruity sangrias.
We had a great time playing — but the wait was INSANE. 2 hours on a weekday?! That sucked so much. Once we finally got in we were pretty tired, so that was a bummer. But the food was good, especially the tots 🤤 The different game play was cool too.

Topgolf Scottsdale is an absolute blast and a must-visit spot in Arizona! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels vibrant and welcoming. The setup is modern, spacious, and perfect for groups of friends, families, or even corporate outings. The staff here are consistently friendly and attentive, making sure your experience is smooth from start to finish. The golfing bays are well-maintained, and the technology makes the game fun for both beginners and experienced players. The climate-controlled bays are a lifesaver in Arizona’s heat, so you can enjoy yourself comfortably year-round. One of the best parts is that you don’t need to be a pro golfer to have fun—the games are designed for all skill levels, which makes it inclusive and entertaining. The food and drinks really exceeded expectations. The menu offers a great variety, from shareable appetizers to hearty mains, and everything comes out fresh and flavorful. Their cocktails are also spot-on and make the outing even more enjoyable. What I love most is how Topgolf Scottsdale combines sports, dining, and socializing all in one place. It’s more than just golf—it’s a full experience. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for fun in Scottsdale!

Had the chicken tacos, nacho average nachos, and cheesy macaroni bites. All were great. Awesome and fast service. Fun place to hang out.
Jerrod B — Google review
This was my first time and it was so much fun. Their prices are also a bargain. A lot of the games are repetitive but it doesn’t matter because TopGolf is just fun in general. I do think the tables that are at the center & higher floors are way better than the tables on the sides/lower floors though. I’m a novice golfer and was able to get decent points just because the placement of my table made the game easier.
Elsy D — Google review
Top Golf is just fun. When prices are so great on Sundays, why wouldn't you go and take the family!
Marika C — Google review
I came here a couple of days ago and really had a great time. I’m not a golfer at all, but the games were easy to get into, and actually pretty fun. Prices felt fair, and the whole place had a really chill vibe. Perfect spot for hanging out with friends for a few hours. I’d definitely come back.

My family just had a great time here! We had my husband, myself, 3 kids ages 8-12 and my parents, in their 70s. My father is a golfer but none of the rest of us are. We had a blast! The server came over the perfect number of times to check on us… not too intrusive, but always there if we needed. My kids had a great time with the games available. We have a lefty and a righty of each age and the appropriate clubs were brought over for us. The only thing I will say is that we were assigned a bay on the third floor and I was a little bit nervous with my jumpy eight year-old. There is a safety net, but still, a mom is a mom. But I hadn’t been there before… on my way out I asked if a first floor bay can be reserved and they said to just write it in the notes. Now I know! We will definitely be back.

The Churchill is an open-air food court in Downtown Phoenix that features a variety of delicious foods, cocktails and craft beers. It was established in the Roosevelt Row Arts District and is home to ten local small businesses that focus on collaboration. Some of the food vendors include The Brill (a local craft beer and cocktail bar) and Sauvage Bottle Shop (a wine shop).
My partner found this place while searching before our trip. I wasn’t exactly enthusiastic about going at first because I didn’t know what to expect. It ended up being a surprise for me because I enjoy live music. The atmosphere of this place is relaxing. If we didn’t want to explore while we were on vacation I could have stayed there all day. There are several food vendors, bars, and small businesses in an open air area. Everyone was friendly.

Inside the Churchill. We've been here several times and have always had a fantastic experience. Bartender is very experienced, drinks were mixed and poured beautifully Apple Blossom Jeans-has a pleasant leather aroma and taste, almost like a boot store, but in the best way. Pleasantly sweet but not overly so, floral and light. 10/10 would recommend Cold Brew-tini- pretty standard espresso Martini, well mixed, very smooth and chocolatey Tried a sample of the Belching Beaver draft, which is a blueberry wheat beer. I'm not a blueberry kind of gal, so not for me, but my husband loved it La Fin du Monde- Belgian tripel, so smooth, slight sweetness, very nice, nice aroma of honey and yeast, slightly hoppy, but well balanced

This is a cool place, but pretty loud. The location has a few places to eat and several places to drink. We didn't have to wait too long for a drink and eventhough it was pretty busy we found a areas to sit and socialize. I thought it was pretty cool that they have several corners were people were playing darts. The chruchill is surrounded by so many interesting bars and restaurants. I might pick another place to checkout if I'm in the area again, but still not a bad spot for drinks.

A wonderful atmosphere! Nice touch downtown @phoenix 👏. 10 interesting businesses under one canopy. Dog friendly, great meet up, good food & fun spirits. Walking distance to other interesting locations. Beautiful public Art. Great vibe. Definitely a great place to stop. #supportlocal.

Really a fun outdoor designed atmosphere with a massive variety of food and drink options. Expect to pay the "food truck premium" food and drinks were a little bit more than one would expect at a place such as this. A great outdoor lounge experience to hang out with your friends. I would not plan to watch any games here, TVs were very limited, and music was loud, all in all, a great spot to hang out!
Patrick D — Google review
First time stopping at The Churchill. Pretty cool spot with great music. It's an outdoors place with a roof. Today was a bit chilly and you could feel the breeze since it's not a closed off building, but they do have heaters all over the place which was nice. There are a couple places to order drinks from and a couple places to order food from. We ordered a pepperoni pizza from one place and a quesadilla from another. Everything was pretty good. We then ordered a mixed drink and a beer from one bar, then just a beer from the other. Overall good experience and a cool place to come hang out.
Vee T — Google review
My friends took me here while I was visiting from out of town and I loved every aspect of it. The whole aesthetic was extremely fun and the shade and misters made me completely forget it was 100°+ outside - honestly, it felt extremely comfortable. We got beer, cocktails, and tacos and everything was delicious. I could definitely spend multiple hours here and will definitely be back!

The Churchill was one of my highlights during my trip to Phoenix. Located in the heart of the downtown phoenix, the Churchill is a perfect place for family, couples, date night, coworkers gathering. What's unique about this place is the concept of using the reusable shipping containers to make The Chuchill. The retail stores; kitchen; restaurants; bars; washrooms are all using reusable containers. It's a cool concept and putting shipping containers into good use. It's also like a high-end food hall where there is always different food options for everyone. If some is vegetarian or vegan or some are meat eater, everyone goes to order whatever they want and they all converge and sit in a table and eat and drink and catching up. There are also board games so it's family friendly. I also saw dogs, so it's pet friendly. I really enjoy this place and highly recommended. It's a new growing trends with the use of shipping containers and I was glad I got to experience this at The Churchill.

Nestled on the fourth floor of the Residence Inn/Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Phoenix, Little Rituals is a chic bar that promises an unforgettable cocktail experience. With over 30 meticulously crafted drinks categorized into six distinct groups, this venue offers something for everyone—from refreshing concoctions perfect for cooling off in the Sonoran heat to indulgent blends bursting with complex flavors.
Had an awesome experience here and our waitress Sydney was awesome! She was really helpful with cocktail suggestions and even gave some great suggestions. One drink I took a sip of and it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting, Mambo 666, and she was so kind to change it out for me. Drinks we had were: Watermelon Sundae Cowboy Poet Breakfast of Champions Ate the hurricane fries too, which were perfect with some heat and sweetness. Everything was great! Cowboy poet was one of my favorites, but Breakfast of Champions might be a tad bit better. We loved the homemade barley bar they made in house and Sydney even gave us another one to eat! definitely coming back and requesting to sit in Sydney’s area!
Eiríkr L — Google review
First time at Little Rituals Bar, and the view alone is worth the trip. The bar sits up on the fourth floor, so you get a clean, open backdrop that immediately sets a relaxed, loungey vibe. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause for a moment to take in the city lights and skyline before the first drink even arrives. The drinks were on point from start to finish. Smoked citrus, well balanced spirits, and thoughtful garnishes nothing pushed too far, just craft you can taste in every sip. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, ready with quick recommendations and a few background bites about the cocktails if you wanted to nerd out a little (which we did, happily). The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between polished and approachable. It’s the kind of spot where you can have a quiet chat with a friend, or lean into a livelier, sunset to evening buzz as the room fills in. The lighting is flattering, the seating comfortable, and the crowd felt easygoing perfect for a first night out kind of vibe. If you’re in town and chasing a solid cocktail program with a killer view, Little Rituals is a strong pick. We left with full glasses and the sense that we’d found a new go to spot for a low-key night out with a friend or partner. We’ll definitely be back to catch more of that skyline and more of those great drinks.

Excellent little Hotel bar that is not associated with the hotel. Evidently won the best hotel bar in America this summer and I can see why. Fantastic food and unique drinks and great views of the city.

Stopped into Little Rituals with a group of 11 while celebrating a friend’s birthday, and this place delivered. The vibe was on point — great music, a cozy booth in the back, and an atmosphere that felt both lively and comfortable. I tried the Vengeance & Fashion, which was a knockout: Milagro Reposado tequila with spiced pear, beet maple, lime, a touch of absinthe, and aromatic foam. Rich, earthy sweetness balanced with citrus and spice — creative and delicious. The other cocktails (can’t remember all the names!) were equally beautiful, especially with the fun foam art and garnishes. Definitely a spot that knows how to do drinks right. Service was just as good as the drinks. Our waitress was a sweetheart, super attentive, and when we showed up drenched from a torrential downpour, the staff brought out towels so we could dry off and get comfortable. That level of hospitality makes a big impression. Glad we popped in here before moving on to our next stop — everyone had a great time. Highly recommend Little Rituals if you’re looking for unique cocktails, good vibes, and staff who genuinely take care of you. I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by last month and it was a very speakeasy-ish with a great view. They had an extensive drink menu so I had my bartender Raquel pick my cocktails. Very delicious and interesting. Its ok to be adventurous here they know what they're doing go check it out great date night place

The drinks were really good and unique. However the staff is what made it such a great experience. We had just walked through a downpour prior to our reservation and they gave us towels to dry off. They were very attentive from start to finish and the service was really fast even with our large party of 10. Would definitely come back!

Little Rituals is in there Courtyard Marriott building. I went on a Saturday with friends and it was immediately evident that this is a date night spot because everyone was coupled up. A couple was having a heavy make out session next to our table. 2 of my friends were guys and they were disappointed that there wasn't any single women to flirt with lol. So if you're single and looking to mingle, this may not be the best place. They serve food but we didn't try it because the kitchen was closed by the time we got there, however, the drinks were interesting. I had the one called conversation starter and it was delicious. Everyone at my table liked their drinks. I would definitely go again if I were to have a date.

Little Rituals has such a classy, upscale vibe while still feeling super comfortable and welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful dim lighting, great music, and just the right energy for a chill night out or a date night. Our bartender Frank was amazing! He went above and beyond the entire night super friendly, attentive, and really knows his craft. He took the time to ask what kinds of flavors we liked and made perfect recommendations (even a couple of custom drinks that were spot on). Every cocktail was balanced, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in the city. You can tell Frank takes a lot of pride in what he does, and it made the whole experience that much better. If you go, definitely sit at the bar and ask for Frank he’ll take great care of you. Little Rituals is now one of my go-to spots!

Valentine is a popular spot in the Melrose district, known for its laid-back atmosphere and eclectic Southwestern cuisine. It features a lounge area and serves brunch and dinner, offering unique specialty drinks like cacao cold brew and squash latte. Attached to a vintage furniture store, it's a favorite among foodies looking for delicious pastries or a place to work. Additionally, Valentine offers a cookie and confection box with an array of sweets available for pickup after 11 am.
What an absolute gem of a place. I was skeptical at first, but my wife said I would love it. They have the most amazing and unique drinks and foods. The vanilla corn cappuccino was off the charts good. Then I ordered the pretzel which came with a unique butter and honey, Tomato/tahini bread, and their Olive dish. Flavors that you never had before. This establishment opened in 2020 and survived Covid so that says a lot. I will definitely be going back and want to try some of their breakfast items next. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Erik L — Google review
The food was decent, but the place was really busy and loud for a Sunday brunch. My eggs came out wrong and the steak was basically raw since they never asked how I wanted it cooked. On the bright side, the drink was great and the pastry ended up being my favorite part.
Jasmine R — Google review
The vibe was good. But the food was not worth the expensive price tag and we werent sure who was our server, as it was inconsistent. All were nice but it was an odd experience. The presentation of the food was nice, but the flavor was lacking.
Ben V — Google review
Our new favorite spot for a flavorful bite or a unique beverage for breakfast or lunch/dinner. The ambiance is modern and beautiful. Their pastry menu is out of this world. Loved trying the two matcha drinks on their menu. Matcha tonic was my favorite of the two. I have also ordered a classic iced matcha that was made to perfection (matcha people iykyk). The service is always great too ☺️

Cool atmosphere. Attached to a vintage thrift store. Incredible coffee menu with exciting and inventive offerings. The brunch menu was robust and accommodating to many dietary needs. Only 4 stars instead 5 because of texture issues. The BLT was soggy and the tacos lacked any form of crunch or bold taco flavor. The star was the bowl of tots, crisped to perfection, smothered in aoli and topped with seeds for a fun twist.
Bay W — Google review
This restaurant is an amazing hidden gem. The menu is insanely good. The quandary becomes which items to order because they all are so good. A crazy eclectic taste explosion in virtually every selection using the highest quality ingredients. Great cocktails and a very cool space too.

I really don’t get the bad reviews — we went for breakfast and everything was amazing! The staff were super friendly and even let us stay inside with our dog since they have a cozy lounge area. We had the churro waffles and the seasonal pastry — both were absolutely delicious! Honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. The coffee was also fantastic; they use local ingredients that give it a really nice, refined flavor. Definitely worth a visit!
Ariane P — Google review
We had a dinner reservation here and as our party was late, we asked if our table could be seated later. Two different hosts took time to figure that out and we opted to have drinks at 1912 until our party arrived. We sat at the bar for over 20 minutes before finally receiving the menu we asked for, despite no one else being seated at the bar. Then when our party finally arrived we opted to remain in 1912 for our dinner as they never changed our reservation and we didn’t have much time left. After asking to have a menu we were just brought over the full course appetizer with caviar we never asked for, before even getting a menu. The communication here with much of the staff seems to be a problem based on our experience. It’s a shame because we came here many times and generally had a good time before facing any difficult situation that needed to be addressed appropriately.

Greenwood Brewing, founded by Megan Greenwood, is a woman-owned brewing company that aims to create an inclusive and welcoming space for all beer enthusiasts. Megan's passion for brewing was ignited when she received a homebrew kit as a gift, leading her to establish a microbrewery in her garage with eight beers on tap. Fueled by the desire to fill the gap in the market for women-friendly beer brands, Greenwood Brewing stands out in an industry largely dominated by men.
Great discovery while visiting Phoenix. Stopped by for a couple late night beers and was not disappointed. Stated with a German beer and ended doing a flight. All the beers were amazing. Will definitely come back again.

Maybe it was because we went in during the last 30 minutes on a Sunday, but there really wasn't any personality to the place. Not unwelcoming, but not welcoming. Some kind of light but noticeable odd smell inside, and it didn't match any cleanser so idk what to make of it. Go for the experimental mango cream ale if it's still there.

Rosemary beer is incredible, paired with bread and oil/balsamic I could drink all day. Their harvest spiced ale is also very tasty. Stop in, support local business, try something different. It’s 2025, expand your taste buds, broaden your horizons!

Great spot with amazing in-house brewed beer. Prices are affordable, though the pours are on the smaller side. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, which makes it a really nice and relaxing place to hang out—especially on a good weather day.

Hands down one of the most inviting, comfortable places to enjoy yourself within. The owners sister took care of us like she would her own family which is special because our 2 year old was with us during a quick lunch break. The craft beers were incredible. Ordering pizza from a neighboring restaurant was such a beautiful experience as they, of course, deliver for free. Their experimental batches were fun to taste as a flight. The quality and price are perfect here. I recommend anyone who enjoys craft beer come in and create your own personal moment.

A very small brewery with a small but nice tap list, even offering a Belgian triple (you do not see that very often). Beer only plus beer to go and swag for sale. No food but can order from nearby restaurants. Limited indoor seating, but plenty outside seating. The pale ale was pretty good, well balanced. The watermelon gose was very nice as well.
C Y — Google review
The beers we had were excellent: blueberry wheat, "mango lassi" & more...fantastic. If I lived nearby I'd be in there all the time. The "personality", as described by another reviewer, is just fine...great for drinking beer and having a conversation. While we were there an engagement party was in full swing. They seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Probably my favorite beer in Phoenix. I wish I lived closer so I would be there more often. The parking is a lottery since it’s downtown so I had to pay for street parking but it was worth it. Beer is high quality and I tried beers in 15 countries so I can confirm this RosemarY IPA is really damn good!

Nestled within CityScape, Pigtails Downtown is a hidden gem that opened its doors in February 2020, just as the world was shifting. This cocktail haven boasts an eclectic atmosphere featuring hanging gardens and unique decor like taxidermied javelinas. The entrance is cleverly disguised behind a kitchen door marked with a neon 'Cocktails' sign, leading you into a vibrant space crafted by the creators of The Whining Pig.
We stopped here after the Diamondbacks game and made it just in time for their Happy Hour. We were seated immediately. Our servers were super quick and processed. The cocktails are always fun and unique. The oysters were fresh and delicious! The atmosphere was fun, and it was a lovely experience.

I’m only giving 2 stars as this review mainly pertains to the poor service we received. The drinks are fantastic and we had many! Highly recommend the espresso and dirty martini. The porkbelly nachos are also to DIE for! We were a large walk in party of 7, the hostess was extremely friendly and sat us right away at the booth in the back which was amazing. The ambiance is extremely inviting. Now for the not so great part, our server Carly S. Carly was extremely hostile and slow with service. We felt like she was avoiding us and that we were inconveniencing her. Maybe she was having a bad day but it was a very negative experience. It was such a negative experience we ended up, after multiple attempts to find her, closing out and just going to a different bar. Would have been 5 stars had we just had a better server or sat at the bar.

Stopped into Pigtails Cocktail Bar with a group of 11 while celebrating a friend’s birthday, and I’m so glad we did. The vibe was super chill, and we lucked out with a booth tucked in the back corner - perfect for our crew. I ordered the Sticky Situation (mezcal, mango, piment, lemon, coconut) and it was absolutely delicious - bright, citrusy, and refreshing with just the right balance of smoke and sweetness. Easily one of my favorite cocktails of the night. Service was top-notch. Our waiter brought great energy, kept the waters flowing right when we sat down, and checked in often without ever hovering. Even one of the bartenders got in on the fun - I was doing a scavenger hunt and needed to tell a stranger a joke, and he happily played along. We only stayed for a round before heading to our next stop, but I’d definitely go back. Between the unique drinks, friendly staff, and cool vibe, this spot is a gem in Phoenix. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby!

This place was on our bar crawl list, and although they probably didn't know they were part of a bar crawl, they accommodated 7 of us fairly quickly. The atmosphere was really cool. Dark, fun, and mysterious. Everyone was friendly. The only dislike was this witches brew drink they recommended. It was not good at all. It looked cool, but it was not good. Other than that, everything else was awesome! Especially the nachos! They were delicious!

We rolled up to Pig Tails for the first time and walked right into a little secret literally walking through the dish washing area to get to the speakeasy vibe. If you love the thrill of finding a hidden spot, this place nails it. The setup is unassuming from the outside, but the moment you step through, you’re greeted by a smooth, curated mood that says “you’re in for something special.” The space itself feels right for a grown up night out low lighting, real wood, and that quiet energy you get in a room where people are there to enjoy good drinks with friends or family. Speaking of which, we met up with some family and turned what could have been a casual meetup into a proper mini celebration. The mood stayed relaxed, the conversations flowed, and the whole night had a comfortable, intimate vibe like you found a hidden gem you’re not in a hurry to share with too many people. Now the drinks. Presentation was on point from the first pour to the last drop. Each cocktail looked like a little work of art, and you could tell the team put thought into every layer, garnish, and glassware choice. Taste matched the hype: bold, balanced, and inventive without tipping into gimmicky. It wasn’t about chasing trends; it was about delivering craft and character in every sip. The staff were confident and easygoing, guiding us through the menu with solid recommendations and a pace that let us enjoy the moment without feeling rushed. Bottom line: Pig Tails is a hidden gem worth seeking out for a night with family or friends where you want seriously good drinks, smart presentation, and a cool, low-key speakeasy vibe. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and a plan to be back soon. If you’re in the mood for something a little off the beaten path with big flavor, this is the spot.

Loved this place! They were able to accommodate our large party of 10 even though it was a speakeasy which was awesome. The drinks were so tasty. I had the “Down the Rabbit Hole” which was my favorite but I tried several other drinks from my friends and they were all good. Also, the bartenders were so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!
Alex H — Google review
This speakeasy was a bit hard to find at first as they tend to be but we finally found it. The drinks were spot on good with a pretty presentation, the food 👌🏽tasty, our waiter was cool, loved the decor. (Next time I’ll take photos of that part) I would describe the atmosphere like Boho mixed with a late night chill NYC bar vibes if that makes any sense 😆
