Unbelievably good! I have never had a more moist cupcake. The chocolate was decadent but not overly sweet. Silky smooth top with the crunchy bits were a perfect complement to this cupcake. Urban Cookies in Phoenix has been my go to sweetshop for the past few years! They staff here is always amazing and their baked goods are incredible! I try to pop in once a week to get goodies for my staff, and having several staff members who have food allergies or dietary preferences, Urban Cookies has been able to accommodate all of those! Definitely will be coming back to Urban Cookies!

Urban Cookies Bakeshop in Downtown Phoenix is my go-to for gourmet dessert treats! Their handcrafted cupcakes, doughnuts, cookies, and bars are beautifully made and taste outstanding. I especially love the dark chocolate sea-salt cookies and German chocolate cupcakes, each bite is rich and satisfying. They also offer delicious vegan and gluten-free options, so there's something for everyone. The shop has a warm, upscale-casual vibe, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I love this place! I stopped recently when i was looking for a good hearty homemade-like brownie. Oh my gosh, this place did not disappoint! It's such a cute little shop in downtown Phoenix. They offer gourmet sweets made from scratch and some are vegan. The brownie is got did not contain eggs. They are also very reasonably priced which is big for me because this delicious place should be affordable for the public. I've only tried the brownie but it was so decadent and airy, not too sweet and very light. 10/10 highly recommend.

This place was awesome! They had a variety of desserts, including cupcakes and cookies. I tried the delicious margarita cupcake, which had creamy icing and actual tequila. The cowboy cookie was tasty too, and the kettle potato chips added a fun twist. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the shop is a cozy pick-up spot. I can't wait to return!

Best croissant in Arizona! I absolutely loved everything that I tried! Wonderful chef couple and legit scratch made pastry! There is nothing like this in Arizona in my opinion. if you haven’t had the chance to try this place it is the best croissant I’ve had since Paris. Go!

Short & Sweet: Exceptional food (breakfast & baked goods), quick and friendly service, on-point decor and comfortable dining. Storytime: We're on vacation and found this place via Google with the thought of grabbing a quick coffee and something baked. Then saw the menu and switched to dining in. So glad we did. The food was perfect - and I don't use that word lightly - both the Big Breakfast & the Quiche. I am *not* a breakfast person and I want to come back just to have this again. I also grabbed a sweet treats box (pre-boxed assortment of baked goods). Didn't indulge in that until later in the day... big mistake. I wanted to go back for more of the macarons, but it was 1:55 and they closed at 2 pm. I truly believe they're the best I've ever had. The rest of the cookies were very good, but those were top notch. Location saved, just in case I'm ever in Phoenix again.

Absolutely horrible, make sure to check your food carefully before leaving. I drove for an hour to come purchase many food items from this bakery. One of those items was the quiche Lorraine from their quick service area. When I got home I discovered both of the quiche's had mold growing all over them due to the bakery not safely storing their refrigerated goods that were obviously left out over the weekend. This is a major health hazard and I may even report it to the health department. After I complained I was refunded but nothing was done to compensate for this issue. Essence Bakery did not offer to replace the food items or comp my bill as a properly managed food establishment should. I recommend finding another bakery to eat at if not, eat here your own risk for food poisoning.

Baked goods were incredible! Breakfast sandwich melted in my mouth. The Brioche was so good! Coffee was adequate, not my favorite but not terrible.

This bakery is a community gem, delicious flavorful and fresh everything. The chef Eugenia an acclaimed pastry chef and her husband frequently step into the dinning area to say hello. A truly special experience.

Unpleasant, horrible customer service. Whoever was wearing glasses and taking our order should work on her customer service and attitude in general. Our first reaction was: “I would never want to be friends with this girl.” It kind of ruined our experience to be honest. Although the croissants are good, we are never coming back. The coffee was not good either. If you charge almost $20 for a breakfast plate, shouldn’t you be providing good food OR good customer service at least? I saw neither in my visit. The breakfast plate was small and depressingly looking. We were deeply disappointed.

Churn Ice Cream is a fun little spot in Phoenix. I love the vibe of this small shop. It’s got that old-school ice cream parlor feel that’s both nostalgic and unique. On top of the delicious ice cream, they have a bunch of cool items for sale like retro toys and vintage candies that really add to the charm of the place. I tried the peanut butter flavor during my visit and it was excellent, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in their ice cream, and there are so many great flavors I still want to go back and try. The only small downside was the energy from the staff. It was midday on a Friday and there was just one person working who didn’t seem all that enthusiastic. It wasn’t a big deal, but it stood out a little given how fun and inviting the space itself is. That said, the ice cream speaks for itself. I’d definitely go back and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cool spot to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Had lunch at Pane Bianco yesterday and really enjoyed it! I ordered the tuna salad and it was plentiful for the price. I really liked the rustic and home-y ambience of the restaurant. It had a unique vibe to interior design. The fresh bread was also awesome.

Wow! Pane Bianco is the cut spot for lunch. 🍕 🥗 🥣 🥖 Amazing pizza and awesome sandwiches. Simple recipes made from high quality ingredients make for fantastic food. I eat at Pane Bianco about once a week and everything is amazing. The pizza is fantastic. 🍕 Simple slices make for the perfect lunch. Any of the salads are great. The green salad is the perfect accompaniment to any of the pizzas. The market salad is great to share or can be a lunch for one person on its own. Today I had the market sandwich which was arugula, ricotta and roasted tomato with balsamic vinaigrette. 🔥 I thought I was going to be missing the protein but the sandwich was perfect 💯 Highly recommend for lunch. Protip: the veggie soup is underrated and served with a slice of their bread. Try it, you’ll love it. 🥣

This is the worst Italian sandwich I have ever had. The bread was really dry, possibly stale and hard. The meat portion was not worth the $16 price tag. Bianco should stick with pizza. Don’t waste your money here, instead get a footlong at Subway for half the price, you’ll enjoy it more. Or order the pizza. It looked good. The staff were nice, at least.

That was outstanding. I got in finally and tried some slices. I tried a N.Y. red slice and a Pepperoni Al Taglio. The sauce on the red slice was one of the most flavorful sauces i have ever had on a pizza. Delicious. The crust was ok. Crispy but almost paper thin. I feel reheated slices can wreak havoc on a pizza dough but good for what it was. I would have enjoyed a touch more salt in the dough. I’m a crust eater. The pepperoni was one of if not the best Sicilian/Grandma style pizza i have ever tried. So light and airy with a nice crispy crust and the sauce, cheese and pepperoni were the perfect amount of toppings just packed with flavor!!!!!!

I was craving a calzone but didn't realize it was only available during lunch time. This was my first time having the pizza and it was delicious! I would recommend having garlic added to the Green, gives it an extra something, that is, if you like garlic. Looking forward to going back.

This place does not disappoint. We had a party of 6 and were seated immediately during lunch. When we walked in, the fresh smell of fresh bread reinforced our belief we made a good choice for lunch. Our group had pizza, calzone, and the Italian Combo. All the food received good reviews. The Italian Combo had a great mix of flavors with a small Italian spiciness to it. I am not a spicy food guy, but did not mind the subtle spice.

Heard good things so I dropped in to give it a go. I was NOT disappointed what so ever! The staff was friendly and quick. The bakery was clean and tidy. The baked goods were absolutely amazing! The spinach and cheese croissant was fantastic! The chocolate croissant was excellent as well. Probably the best sugar cookies I've ever had. And they were decorated beautifully too. I'll definitely be going back!

I love little treats, one might say I'm always on the hunt for them. Came here while I had some time to kill and the eas no shortage of delicious looking treats to choose from. Had the apple danish and cherry turnover. These treats hit the spot!

This was such a memorable and amazing birthday experience!!!! This was our impression of a Chick-fil-A cake made by Christine (who is absolutely amazing to work with and did her vision for this cake). It was a red velvet cream cheese cake and probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had…. 25/15 will be coming here for everything! Thank YOU Karl’s Bakery!

How to positive experience here. Just came in to get a couple of little treats and the lady behind the counter was very nice. She and gave me a free Christmas cookie. The place was clean, she was very hygenic which I appreciate. I enjoyed my scone for breakfast.

This place is amazing! High quality, affordable, personable and competent staff, and a wide variety of delicious treats! My boyfriend and I like to get up early and grab a box of pastries from them every few weeks as a special treat, and everything we've ever had there is just to die for. We discovered it when looking for a Swedish princess cake for my birthday, and it was incredible! I highly recommend this bakery, and of course we'll be back.

Before I get started let me just say there customer service is TOP TEIR! They went above & beyond to have this order ready in a timely matter & when I had wait a few extra mins as they were extremely busy they added in some extra goodies for waiting. The cakes were SO delicious & adorable for a little girls 1st bday! You must try the spinach croissants, They are out of this world!!!

Love this place! The options are stellar- if you want any dessert, you can probably find it here. The muffins are amazing & so are the brownies. There's literally a chocolate lava muffin, which I've never seen before. Their decorated sugar cookies are a little hard & taste a little stale, but they are adorable. You have to visit this place- you will not regret it :)

My wife and I got the cake for our wedding from Růže Cake House, and we enjoyed not only the cake but the experience of selecting it. We were provided a sample size cake of 6 different types. We tried 5 delicious and elegant stylings, but we ultimately selected the 6th - the funfetti style. I thought we were just childish at first, but I won't hesitate to say that I have never had a better funfetti cake in my life - and its softness was easy to cut in front of a hundred people too!

Beautiful bakery. We tried 8 different macaron flavors today in order to decide which ones will be used as party favors. They were ALL delicious and gorgeous to look at. My kids and I left giddy.

Thank you for your hard work making my cake. I ordered a cake for my grandparents 50th anniversary and everyone was blown away by the design. The almond cake with strawberries and cream was outstanding. Thank you for helping our party be even more special.

Really enjoyed this place. The boba was just right, semi sweet and flavorful. On this note, it seems like a good place to sit down and enjoy a beverage and a dessert (once they open the dining room). Inside it has a nice open and spacious ambiance. Highly recommend. Cotton candy on top of boba is an extra!

I was very impressed. Great customer service. Explained menu items to me as well as gave a few good recommendations. The Macaroons were very good. The Iced coffee and lemonades were just as good. Even though the inside seating is closed for covid, they had a cute table outside we could sit at and enjoy. The ambiance inside is very insta-worthy, if you’re into that sort of thing. Definitely recommend as a cute mini date spot then maybe a walk around old town. I’d like a better variety though.

Food: Overpriced, so brace yourself. However, I will say the flavor is well worth the splurge. I would recommend the Chocolate Chip Cookie and Neopolitan macaroons. Their Matcha boba drink with cotton candy is also quite fantastic and mind the Vietnamese coffee, it is cold brew so it won't be as thick as a normal Vietnamese coffee. Atmosphere: Crisp and to the point. The greenery adds to their minimalistic style with their products placed purposefully on shelves. But the large table in the middle of their shop obscures the beautifully crafted pastries and, on first sight, doesn't help create a comforting environment for patrons who enter. In other words, the brass chairs, quiet atmosphere, and hard tables don't invite me to sit down and chat for longer than a couple minutes. Service: I've had the same girl who has served me the past three visits and she has always done a spectacular job, giving recommendations and being very kind. Overall: Great little shop with lots of eye candy and delicious, but expensive, delicacies and drinks. Fantastic for a girl's hangout or a quick drop-by for something delicious.

One of the prettiest bakery in town, absolutely loved their decor very instagrammable.. Had lavender iced latte with boba, pistachio rose macaron and oreo chocolate macaron.. Loved all of it , though chocolate macaron was a bit sweeter for me.. They have some amazing macaron flavours would definitely love to try other flavours on my next visit.. And you can also choose different flavours and make a macaron gift box , m sure people with sweet tooth gonna love it..

What a nifty specialty cookie shop! They have the weekly varieties on display on the counter. On my visit, they had eight cookies on offer. The lady behind the counter enthusiastically explained the options and made them all sound fantastic. I could only choose one, though, and went with the Reese's Reverse. That cookie was like a fat dome! She added a fresh drizzle of chocolate sauce and sprinkled on Reese's cereal pieces. It was packed in a handy orange box that kept it safe for the trek afterward. I ate the cookie a few hours later. Wow, but it was good. The outside had a rich peanut butter flavor, crisp yet chewy in texture, with an interior stuffed with chocolate. This was a chocolate and peanut butter lover's dream come true. On my visit in September 2022, it was $4.25 with tax, but considering the size, I think it was a good deal. This thing is comparable to a piece of cake, a major treat.

Melt in your mouth, ooey gooey cookies! We stopped here while out and about checking out Tempe/Mesa area. Yes they are a little pricey (on par with similar "fancy" cookies companies) but they are so much better! If you are looking for a nice little treat for yourself, this is the place to check out.

So, I really didn’t want to like these because I hate the name of the place. But just tried and they are excellent. We got 4 flavors, pop tart, caramel chocolate, peanut butter and jelly with white chocolate, and peanut butter cup. The flavors are fantastic and they looked beautiful in the box. Only deducted 1 star because they are so messy and gooey that you need a fork to eat them, also a tad sweet for me but really so good!!!!! These would be perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. No photos before the tasting. 🤪

Best. Cookies. Ever. Let me preface by saying I’m not the biggest sweets person but my goodness! They were beyond delicious, I loved the Reese’s one most of all. When I’ve had other gourmet cookies I’ve felt drowned in sugar by their icing and can barely finish a quarter piece. But I can honestly say I almost the whole cookie here at dirty dough. I will definitely be returning!

Staff was great, cookie presentation was great, but the flavor was just really lacking, they were pretty bland (and we tried four different flavors and we thought this was true for all of them). The texture is good though. I'm a bit baffled by the 4.5 star rating as Chunk is also rated 4.5 stars but their cookies are way more flavorful.

Tried the fruity crisp tonight, and it was SOO GOOD 🤤 the fruity pebble with the marshmallow cream filling was the perfect combination and made it the perfect texture. 😍🤤😋💗 — Our first time here tonight, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the cookies & cream cookie SO MUCH! Had lunch down the street at Otro Cafe, decided to stop in here randomly and acquire some cookies. Lots of parking in the back, with convenient access. I walk in, immediately am given a sugar cookie to try out, an older man named John asks me for honest feedback on the sugar cookie and all I can amount are - it tastes good, and it tastes like a sugar cookie. Impressive feedback, apologies John, best I could do at the time. Honestly, it tasted just as you'd want a sugar cookie to taste like, so I think they nailed it on that front. Asked if I could take a couple pictures, permission granted, bought a half dozen and he included a free cookie (their California Killer Cookie). Unique cookies. Tasty. They're not overblown and excessive like Crumbl cookies, they're still kind of expensive, but they taste more how you'd think a bakery cookie should taste. More normal is what I'm getting at. In my picture of three cookies, the middle one is their California Killer Cookie. Biffer Doodle (Snicker Doodle) on the left, and on the right a White Macadamia Nut (my favorite out of all). Little heavy on the wallet but delicious.

I hadn't been inside for more than 20 seconds, and I was greeted with a smile and had a fresh warm chocolate chip cookie in hand as a sample! I had been down the road nearby and craving a cookie, I Google searched and, to my delight, found this just 2 miles away. I bought a half dozen variety... because I just had to try everything! With half a dozen you get a free drink and then they threw in an extra cookie because I had mentioned which ones my kids would enjoy. Some of the best customer service that I've experienced anywhere in a long time! And the cookies were perfect!

Great service! We were welcomed right away and were giving free samples which we did not even know they had! The cookies are so soft on the inside but crispy and buttery on the outside. It is a nice treat to have and they have a Valentine's Day cookie that is Cherry and is amazing! A little pricey but so worth it to get even just a few cookies because they are very satisfying.

I showed up a half hour before they closed and was blown away by the service and care of the staff on site. They explained all the flavors that were available and guided my choices. I chose a half dozen and tried most of the flavors. Each cookie was warm, gooey and delicious. These are your grandma's cookies. This is a wonderful family owned and operated local business that deserves your support. One bite, and you'll be hooked! The Salted Carmel chocolate chip is my favorite. They have a nice selection of fresh and warm cookies, and you can even get a glass of milk. The dough isn't shipped from a factory like the chain spots. They make the dough fresh, in-house with all natural ingredients, and you can tell the difference. Stop by and find out for yourself. This will be your new favorite dessert choice.

Stop by ASU campus for cookies, this place is delicious. Vegan and gluten free options available. Cookies, brownies and ice cream… what more could you want! This place is hands down better than most, I will definitely be back for another round but for the brownies. The oatmeal chocolate walnut was just like something your mom would make, comfort cookie. The birthday cake was super moist and a perfect option if vegan. The salted caramel was perfect, little crisp with the caramel and still a nice soft cookie. The classic m&m was simple and good. They have classic cookies, deluxe and vegan/gluten free options so something for everyone.

Just got my first order from insomnia and it was... Not good. Took an hour to deliver and the cookies weren't warm like advertised and I asked the driver where my ice cream was at and he told me it must be in the cookie box with the cookies staring at his phone and walked away. Not good experience

I've had these cookies before and they taste great. The delivery leaves a lot to be desired-I've been waiting over an hour for 6 cookies to be delivered, when I called them 30 minutes in they informed me that they had one delivery driver with 2 orders ahead of mine (despite the order tracking never updating to indicate that). At best it's a glitch with insomnias app, at worst it's an indication of poor staffing and unattainable metrics they are held to.

I tried their Oreo and Biscoff cookies. I really enjoyed the Biscoff because of the crunchiness on the outside and the softness in the inside. The smell and taste of Biscoff butter was also delicious. I personally don’t really like the Oreo. I think the texture was a bit dry. Nothing standout.

I had the salted Carmel apple pie at thanksgiving and now the chocolate raspberry cake for Christmas…. All I can say is WOW!!! As a person who is not a huge fan of sweet food I am hooked on the cake shop. On top of the amazing treats, Josh’s personal touches and skill make this one of the best bakeries I have ever visited.

This place is heaven for my tummy. Every item looks delicious! I had a cupcake (raspberry/lemon) and it was mouthwatering. The gift shop inside was overwhelming yet full of surprises. If you love to send gifts then this is a perfect place for you.

DELICIOUS! My coworkers got me a a cake from here to celebrate my wedding. I took the extras home for my husband. We loved it so much we bought another one just for the heck of it because it was so dang good!! This will be my go to spot for cakes and treats in the future!

Eclectic place with a lot of everything you want from food to tchotchkes with classic posters and a slamming soundtrack in the background. Pastries are top-notch as are the breakfast foods. Will return for pizza and ice cream!

Bake shop is so good that I got my wedding cake from them last year! Andrea was so helpful in choosing flavors and designs for us. They make the most scrumptious cakes and 200 other people from my wedding agree!

As a local business in Phoenix, we love supporting them as often as possible because they’re friendly, not too expensive, and their flavors are spot on every single time, no matter what you decide to treat yourself to from visit to visit.

Well worth the hype. It was packed even on a Monday afternoon, when we found outside seating. Quick service from helpful staff. Pizzas are absolute bomb, especially The Wiseguy — hands down the best. Second comes either the pistachio with cheddar OR feta with greens on top. Great combination both of them. You can’t go wrong here!

My wife and I love Pizzeria Bianco it's a must every time we come to visit my parents. My wife always get the the pistachio parm pizza her favorite here. I always switch it up. Pizzeria Bianco takes its ingredients and its service seriously. Every pizza is handmade and the possible combinations are creative and delicious. You cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas they offer. These are large pizzas for one person so sharing might be a better way to go. 100% recommend!

The place was absolutely packed when we arrived, and honestly, I think it’s a bit overrated. The atmosphere was fine and the staff were polite, but it took quite a while for our pizza to come out. My boyfriend really enjoyed it and thought the food was great, but to me everything tasted pretty average. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. Overall, it was an okay experience — not terrible, just not as amazing as everyone seems to say.

I finally made it here. I remember seeing this on a Netflix show and I saved it years ago knowing that one day I will make it to phoenix. My driver is mentioned that this place was one of the best in town. I can say Pizzeria Bianco did not disappoint. The margarita pizza was fresh, tasty, and filling. You can taste the quality of the ingredients they use especially the fresh mozzarella.

Fresh, hot, and delicious pizzas! I got a margherita with wood mushrooms and he got a (Rosa) pistachio pizza. We went on a Monday afternoon after probably a lunch rush went through. Lots of staff but not as many people in there. I've been in here before when it was a busy Saturday and the place was slammed. Nice atmosphere, nice vibe. For us it's a once in a year kind of visit for a birthday celebration but this time it was the first time during a slower afternoon which was a nice quieter pace. Worth the visit and the paid concierge parking. Definitely will be back.

Amazing experience at Pizzeria Bianco! The wait was about 45 minutes, but absolutely worth it. We had the Sonny Boy, Rosa, and Wise Guy (to go) — all brick-oven perfection. Fresh ingredients, stretchy cheese, and a crust that’s crunchy yet deliciously chewy. True Italian flavor with a magical touch. A must-visit for any foodie!

If you are looking for a quick bite, this is not the place for you. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our one pizza we ordered. It was well worth the wait though, some of the best pizza I have had in Phoenix. We got the margarita pizza, added sausage and onion. The vibes are cozy, I wish I would have gotten more photos. It is not a very big place so not a great place for a large group.

Don't expect Mexican fusion here, instead look for classic American fare. Cocktails are excellent and wine selection is broad. Waiter and servers are very attentive. Outside dining when the sun sets is pleasant. As for my meal, juicy pork chop but could have used more polenta vs squash. Sticky buns vs bread is a nice touch. Deviled eggs were good but not memorable. Wedge salad was excellent, very tangy homemade blue cheese dressing. Though pricey, portions are well sized.

Always the cutest spot for breakfast imo. The monkey bread wasn’t as magical as I once remembered but likely because I didn’t order a full pan so the only piece was one that comes in the basket. However the hash (last photo) and the green chile stew (1st photo) was also really good.

It’s a high-end / upscale restaurant + event venue, with beautiful desert views at the base of Camelback and Mummy Mountains. 🎉 Events & Venue •   El Chorro is often used for weddings, private events, celebrations. They have multiple event spaces: patios, lawns, pavilion areas, etc.

Wonderful surprise date night. Hubby made a reservation since our son raved over the trout and sticky buns. We have to admit, food was spectacular. Service was prompt and polite, very clean, impeccable location. Cloth covered tables, wine goblets for water and tea. Iced tea was even crisp and lightly fragrant. I was pleasantly surprised at all the little touches to make the guest feel special. The wax paper under the sticky bun made the presentation even more elevated.

Woww the tamales were amazing!!! Love them!. We got a very great time!, nice place to have breakfast. Need to try at least one. But if you want tamales, the spot is perfect!

Our first time to visit Phoenix and were told to try The Stockyards. We enjoyed an amazing meal. Ron was our server, and he has been at The Stockyards for 20 years. He absolutely knows the menu and helped us make some great selections. We tried the homemade onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. For our entree, we had the 5 oz filet with a baked potato. The second entree was the K-2 14oz filet with Parmesan potatoes and asparagus. The atmosphere was very inviting and traditional. Old school steakhouse for sure! Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal experience at The Stockyards!

Attended an event for our organization in the private dinning room. The service was great, very polite, and helpful. The restaurant is a traditional steak house so they will cook your steak medium temperature unless you ask otherwise. The steak was just ok. The steak was barely seasoned but I've had better. The sides were good and tasty. However, I probably would not make this a go to spot in my lists of steakhouses in the Valley.

Lovely place with great service and delicious food. Apparently, they have a tendency to overcook steak - my husband's was not rare as he requested. He was hungry, so ate it anyway, thought he did report it to our server. My elk was perfect, as was dessert.

The K4 Ranch steak was incredibly juicy, almost like tasting chicken soup, unbelievable! The vibe and servers are super chill, not fancy at all, which makes dining here so comfortable. The crab cakes were also delicious! Make sure to reserve a table, it gets busy on weekend nights!

Fantastic!!!!! Celebrated a birthday here and loved the old photos of Phoenix, the building-inside has comfortable chairs and booths. The decor is top-notch for a living history, museum type setting. Walk into the saloon, and be blown away by the murals on the wall. Our service was top-notch. Our waitress Alice, to all of the servers were friendly and attentive. We went early in the evening, which was the perfect time to go. It wasn’t busy then, but by the time we left, there wasn’t an empty table to be found. And that was a Friday night. Chilean Seabass, with a lobster tail was a hit!!! The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfect. The other meal we had, was a large ribeye that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Birthday dessert was a delicious sour cream cheesecake with berries/sauce. This was a delightful experience. From the top notch service to the outstanding history preserved through photos and pictures on the walls we were impressed, and we can’t wait to bring more of our family here to try this unique place.

We called late, but got reservations for 8:30, was seated promptly upon arrival. Our server Eric was great! The food was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is very inviting with a relaxing and comfortable feel. Definetly recommend if you are in the phoenix area.

My fiancée, Patty has been wanting to bring me here for a while. She grew up in Phoenix and has great memories from over 30 yrs ago. The dinner did not disappoint. Our waiter, Eric, made the meal even better with his attentive service. I had the 18 oz prime rib that was fabulous, as was the Parmesan potatoes. We will be back. My 89 yo mom loves prime rib.

Such a cute location! I love that their coffee shop open at 6am and has an outdoor cafe for those out for morning walks, AND they’re open till 10pm so I could get a latte at night too if I want to. The pizza is delicious, the gift shop is adorable, and the gelato is delicious. My top recommendation is the horchata latte, hot or iced!

La Grande Orange — what can I say? One of my absolute favorite spots in Phoenix! 🌵✨ Everything here is fresh and absolutely to die for. The tuna melt? Perfection. The pancakes and desserts? Incredible. The salads? So fresh and flavorful. Even the iced tea and coffees are spot on. Whether it’s morning, noon, or night, this place never disappoints. A must-visit when you’re in Phoenix! 💛

ÑThis place offers a very warm and comforting atmosphere, perfect for spending a pleasant time. I’ve been here twice—both on cold, rainy days—so having such a cozy environment feels wonderful. The potato soup and tomato soup are delicious, and I really love the Margherita pizza. The service is very good. The only downside, which happened on both visits, is that the food is served cold. The soup, the pizza—everything came out cold. I’m not a fan of that because the wrong temperature can really change the whole tasting experience.

This is a cute little store. I stopped here a few times as it was in walking distance from my airbnb. There is a variety of merchandise, as well as several options for food such as pizza, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Everything here is very expensive, and I feel like the price of the food doesn’t match the portion sizes. I got a pizza that was on the smaller side and it was $20. It just tasted okay, nothing spectacular. The desserts are pretty good though, as is the freshly brewed coffee. There is some seating so you can chill out, and a dine in restaurant next door that I didn’t try. I would maybe come back here for coffee and a pastry, but everything else here is pretty overpriced.

Let me preface this by saying that I have eaten at this restaurant several times and absolutely love it—I am only posting this so the restaurant can fix the issue moving forward. I ordered a to-go order the other day, and unfortunately found a live bug in my sandwich (see photo) I think probably because the back door is right in the kitchen and a bug probably snuck in right before the lid was placed on. Either way, it would probably be good to quality check the meals before sending them out to customers—the bug was right near the top and I didn’t even have to move things around to see it.

The pizzas came quickly, and the gelato was really good. Also the waiter was a chill guy 👍. I recommend a classic cheese pizza with lots of fresh Parmesan, and an advocato pizza (the lemon zest made it 5x better). And idk where they get/make their ranch but it was quality.

One of my favorite places to eat in the valley. The pizza is great, the bakery is fantastic, and all the food is made with care and great ingredients. Lots of great food at the market. One of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. Parking is limited, so please keep that in mind if you come at peak lunch and dinner hours. Its next to Postino Arcadia with a just adds to the LGO reputation and buzz.

This place was recommended by a friend (we were visiting from another country). When we got there the queue was super long!! It was a Saturday night so maybe that is why. We sat and waited for a bit and decided to go and looked for another place to eat. After checking a few places we decided to go back to the Cheesecake Factory and waited. After maybe 15-20 minutes we finally got a table and the lady who served us was very helpful. There is so much stuff in the menu and so it took us a bit of time to get what we wanted to have. After she got our orders she served us our drinks and probably after 10-12 minutes our food started to be served. One of my friends remarked that he was a little disappointed with one of his orders but mine was all good. I had the classic burger and some fries, hubby and I also got choc cheesecake for dessert. I also had a taste of my friends chicken taquitos, I thought that was nice. It was overall a good experience except the waiting in the long line part.

8 of us were there March 6. Cheesecake Factory food is always great but not the avocado tacos. The tortilla was about 4 inches across & they shoved more into it than it could hold. Plus the tortilla was not at all strong enough. To geo one out of the taco tray it was necessary to remove the avocado, pick up the taco & then put the avocado pieces back on. DIFFICULT. The lime wedge was too dried out to have any juice. The brownie sundae was long on presentation but would have been better with a warm brownie & not a stone cold one.

Great experience, as always!! Eddie was a GREAT server; engaging but not intrusive. Food was served at the right time. Very conversant if you needed more information. Miso Salmon and the Gumbo didn’t disappoint. Another happy experience here!

I went here for my first time last month and it blew my expectations out of the water. I seriously have never had such high quality food! We ordered the egg roll appetizer, shawarma, and chicken Madeira. The chicken Madeira was unbelievable. I still think about it! Finished with a key lime slice of cheesecake. Yes, the price is higher than your average restaurant but the quality of food and service is well worth the price! I would absolutely recommend you try this place at least once :)

I will not come here again. Took more than 30 minutes to bring our drinks. The food took a long time as well. The sauce on the pasta was so watery, not creamy at all. Everything was not good even the waitress took too long also. I will just be going to the one on Bell like we always do. The parmesan chicken barely had any chicken. Total disappointment.

It’s solid, but at some point, the price-value proposition doesn’t make sense anymore. Like most other restaurants they’ve raised prices. Unfortunately, like so many businesses, they’ve simultaneously cut expenses (aka spent less on the experience they provide). Our family of four averaged nearly $50/person for meal that included 2 cocktails, 2 sodas, 2 slices of cheesecake, a small plate, and 4 entrees (all sandwiches or appetizer menu options). Cocktails were solid (careful, they don’t list prices on the menu for some reason). The food was definitely good. But it wasn’t great. The portions were (gulp, never imagined I’d say this about Cheesecake Factory) average to small. The service was nothing like the Cheesecake Factory of old. Our server (nice enough and competent) was rushed and impatient (literally pulling our start plate away before we could answer and while my daughter was reaching for the last zucchini stick. The constant pre-bussing was noticeable, and we felt rushed throughout. In general most of the staff looked fairly unhappy to be there - flat expressions, low energy (very different than I’ve typically seen here). It was a downer, really. This chain used to be a goto for me (years ago), and while it hasn’t been as sharp, the food and friendly energy was worth not. Now it seems the pressures of the economy, labor shortage, or whatever has caught up. It makes me sad, but this really isn’t something that makes sense anymore for me.

Made a reservation for my year anniversary yesterday and was so disappointed, looked at the menu for weeks and was so excited to come and try a few things. The egg roll platter was disappointing, my food took forever to come and was not hot when it got to my table. I got the most recommended chicken plate and it was lacking in everything. Cajun pasta was better but also not good :( we both really wanted to just ask for something else that’s how much we didn’t like it. But Our server obviously had too much on his hands and wasn’t able to check in, didn’t listen to our special request when ordering. Tried to take our order a 2nd time after they did 10 minutes ago. The drinks were good that’s all. I am so sad and will likely not return :(

I got the chicken skewers. They had a lot of flavor. The service was great from Cherie. She was attentive the entire time. I also enjoyed the margarita. Huge portions and the margarita was strong.

The Texaz Dip was a Tuesday Lunch Special. It was fantastic. Tender prime on a roll with delicious au jus. The Chicken Fried Steak was huge and delicious with some of the best home made Mashed Potatos I have had at a restaurant. If that was not enough they surprised me with peach cobler a la mode. The cobbler was good. The ice cream was amazing. We returned for the Friday Fish and Chips. The Fish was Cod and it was very good. Just be aware that it is a Fish and Chips plate. They don't have an all you can eat option. The Chef Salad was ok, the Steak was good and the Hamburger was amazing

The service every time was exceptional and the food was tasty in big-sized portions. I have yet to leave there longing for more food. if anything I leave there with a full pallet a little bit light in the wallet but happy as can be. The mashed potatoes in white gravy was good those biscuits were fantastic hot and fresh made. You got it at a fair size piece of fish fish fillet with tartar sauce and you can ask for cocktail sauce I like the cocktail sauce a little heavy on the vinegar but still complimented the breading they use on a fish very well and that peach cobbler was very good but not the best peach cobbler I've ever had was that Bill Johnson's Big Apple said to say they're no longer around but cruise by text as for a drinking a meal and some pleasant conversation with other guests there's a bar there pretty much any drink you can think of and a nice bartender.

I wanted to love this place the food smelled good from the tiny parking lot. Atmosphere was nice . It looks like a bar out of a country movie and has great music . Our waitress was attentive and nice. The food lacked any flavor for my taste and the breading was way to much for me just made a mess . The meat 8nside was dry and my chicken fried steak was burnt. We waited over a hour for food. The grays had great flavor but it had already set by the time it got to use. It wasn't all bad tho the cat fish, biscuits, and fries were good but the fried shrimp was so dry my daughter didn't want it. I'm hoping it was just a off day for the cook. I wouldn't venture back.

I've been here before, but it was 14 years ago. Came back to check it out & I'm still as impressed as before. I already knew the chicken fried steak was perfect, so this time I got the Breakfast Burrito which is for Brunch that ends at 3:00. This burrito has two eggs, TexAZ fries, bacon, and cheese. Giant burrito. Saved some for tomorrow because I needed to get the Homemade Bread Pudding. Wow bro. This is just like I used to have in the actual state of Texas. Also I had a nice Coors banquet before the meal.

What a great spot. Food was great! Service is excellent! And just a very chill spot to come have a good meal and enjoy good company. 10/10 recommend. Sherry, our sever, was the best. They were so accommodating. We had the filet, rib eye, prime rib. The Mac and cheese with green chiles was so good I wanted to order another. Ended the meal with the peach cobbler and pecan pie al a mode. Excellent time!

I’ve passed this establishment so many times over the years, I’m always looking for a new Steak, but on this occasion I was extremely disappointed. I ordered their Rib Eye, Mash and Corn. The mash was more Gravy than mash, and the steak was the greasiest piece of meat I have ever come across. The combination of grease and gravy just was not doing it for me. The steak was 40 dollars and should have been 12-15. I was expecting a much nicer experience seeing the area it’s in. My bill after a burger and steak and 1 ice tea was $67. Totally overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I am a total foodie and let me tell you!.... this place is definately a place id return to in a heart beat! From the atmosphere, to the service AND moat importantly the food! All their dishes are carefully crafted in the kitchen to give you a great experience, from the visual to your taste buds! There is not one thing we disliked! Excellent!

We visited this restaurant during our visit to Phoenix and had the best time. We sat outside and had the four course dinner. The ambiance was so peaceful and we felt like we had so much privacy. The service was incredible and the food was all delicious. I am a pescatarian and they were able to customize my meal and keep me informed about the ingredients of each dish. The servers even gave us a tour of the kitchen and we were able to meet the chefs and see all the food stations. This was a very elevated dining experience and we left very full and satisfied. The drinks were delicious and strong! Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert but really wish that we could have tried it. I strongly recommend eating at this restaurant while in Phoenix!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, and they even took us on a tour of the kitchen, which was such a nice touch! It’s definitely a great spot for celebrating a special occasion. The experience is unique and memorable, though it does come with a high price tag. While I’m not sure I’d go back regularly for that cost, it’s absolutely worth visiting at least once for the experience.

My boyfriend & I were visiting and we had the pleasure of doing the Chefs table experience. We sat in the kitchen with chef Dustin Christofolo and had the chef tasting menu which varies weekly. Everything was farm to table and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. You may not know what you’re getting but you’re guaranteed a 5-star experience with over 80% of the food grown from their farm and the rest sourced locally. Incredible experience from the Quiessence team!

This is my second time reviewing this incredible hidden gem, and it deserves every bit of praise. The food was absolutely spectacular, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Chef Dustin, you are a true culinary genius. Every element on the plate was purposeful and flawlessly executed, elevating each dish to an art form. Also every time I go I just keep think about those amazing apple cannoli's. Highly recommend that dessert. If you’re looking for a spot to really enjoy your meal and spend some quality time with good company, this is the place. It’s such a nice change from the fast paced vibe of most restaurants these days, here you can relax, savor your food, and enjoy meaningful conversations with your loved ones. Absolutely impeccable. We took my mom here to celebrate her birthday. We did the 5 course which I absolutely recommend doing if you go. We also doubled the first course by going with both the Chefs Spread and the oysters. Hands down the best oysters I've ever had the pleasure of dining on. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had a private dining room and they were more than happy to accommodate a floral arrangement I had sent over for the occasion. I almost hesitate posting how truly incredible this place is, as I wish to keep it my secret gem in the desert - But I could not live with myself if I didn't express how deeply divine the entire meal, atmosphere and experience was. Update: We have been back a few more times for our anniversary and my birthday and they are still immaculate. Do yourself a favor and get the A5 Wagyu!

One of if not the best espresso martini in town. WOW! So good. Lux also does fantastic Mac & cheese. Great pastry selection as well. The interior space is nicely divided - more of a quieter study space on the coffee bar side, and a little more lively with lounge/couch seating on the bar side

This eclectic spot made this Berkeley, CA gal feel right at home. The food was delish and the vibe is relaxed but high energy because both things can be true at once. Such nice folks! The baker, Britney (sp?) not only prepares incredible baked goods but knows and engages with the regulars. The coffee is superb. A zillion stars. Thanks for the warm welcome to Phoenix!

I’m so happy I found this place! I was skeptical with the reviews but this is a great study/workspace especially considering they’re open late! Extremely diverse crowd, also drinks available, felt like a true third space. It was quite crowded but still had places to sit. Coffee was typical but definitely worth it for the vibe of the cafe. Cannot wait to come back!

Some of the most amazingly fresh roasted coffee. The picture was taken the day after it was roasted. Delicious food and treats. Especially the Espresso Cake. Go and relax and vibe in a chill atmosphere, but make sure to take some coffee beans home with you. Your coffee machine will thank you.

Been coming here for five years now and we still love it all so much! The vibe, the staff, the food, the cocktails…everything is amazing. Went again for dinner and it was so delicious. Sammy at the back bar gave us excellent service!

I have tried the original el Encanto about a year ago and really liked it. I decided to give the second location a try as well while the restaurant was similar. There were some pretty clear differences. The ambience was lacking. The majority of the restaurant seating had views of the main road and the seating was very close together and didn't feel as cozy. The service was good. The food was also on point. I would still go back to the restaurant, however ask for inside seat. If given the choice between the two locations, I would go back to the main one before I would go to this one, however.

El Encanto overall was a good experience. Its started out rough at first. They have a slight fly infestation in one of their bar areas, so bad we had to move tables. They bring out a salsa trio they bring to the table, mild green and avocado, medium red and hot red. All of them were very good. We ordered a small pitcher of margaritas, you get about 3 out of it. Kind of pricey at 28.00 for it. I ordered a shredded beef and bean burrito with cheese on top. They didn't put much cheese on it. Disappointed by that. Our server/bartender was great! Loved the music they played. The patio looks like it would be great when the weather gets cooler out. We'll come back then.

Beautiful setting for outdoor dining. Service was excellent, our server was very attentive filled drinks quickly, it is nice to have a staff that really love there profession. I had the vegetable enchilada with rice and beans, my husband had the vegetable fajitas. I should have asked the sauce on the side, it was a little too much for me. My husband loves his meal.

Our server was wonderful, very attentive and prompt. The food was scratch made and completely customizable. I could not find good mole sauce anywhere...until now. Finally someone who makes it correctly. Excellent restaurant and we will be back.

This was our 2nd time visiting. The first was a bit better but this visit was not as nice. The food is good but some dishes are just not as tasty. Don't expect anything spicy, this place appears to be scared of spice as the clientele is mainly older causation so nothing is spicy, (even the HOT salsa) is mild. The service was okay but not attentive at all. Last time we sat on the patio which was a nice atmosphere, the dining room is nice but it's just another dining room. The chicken enchiladas, rice and beans are all tasty, wasn't a fan of the beef.

Ordered the French Toast, which is cinnamon French toast. It looks great, but it's average, and not a do-over the me. It's actually pre-packaged egg bread with some cinnamon swirls baked in. It's dipped in some eggs but not much. Dry except the syrup I put on it. The service ends to end was a 5, that is why I rated 4 stars. The fake French toast pre-packaged is a 3. Though the serving is extra large. Coffee was good, and again the service. I will return and try something different. This food was disappointing, looks better than it is.

We came here for the gluten free options discussed in the reviews. There is ONE gluten free option - oatmeal. We stood and stood waiting to be seated. The food is bland and oily. They advertise Bloody Marys on their chalkboard but reported to us they have no alcohol to make it! Maybe erase the chalk? Flying insects were present while we dined indoors. They played the radio with hard rock music and a lot of commercials while we ate our breakfast. The waitress asked how our food was from behind me and somehow expected me to know she was addressing me. I understand why they are closing and wouldn't recommend anyone eat here....we won't be trying this chain again.

We were in the area & decided to try this place. Walk in & were greeted by the smell of maple syrup. The host was very rude & unfriendly. Our waitress was ok, needs to learn coffee cups should never be empty. Food was good and there was a lot.

First time at this restaurant, ordered the grilled bacon and egg sandwich. The sandwich was so good, loved the spicy mayo. My husband had the reuben and loaded potato soup, he said it was the best potato soup he has ever had. The service was quick and inviting.

This is our second time at this location. Although we didn’t catch them on a fresh cinnamon roll day we enjoyed our experience , our server was great and attentive. I had biscuits and gravy meal, my sister had the Denver omelette with green and red peppers. I had the rooster sunrise with pineapple juice instead of the orange juice and my sister got the Mimosa flight with berry , 2 original and strawberry mimosas .

You might want to avoid the steak sandwich. They hadn't cleaned their grill and the black on the steak tasted like stank, not steak. Also, very gristley piece. I usually eat gristle but couldn't do it with this. Everything else my family ordered was very delicious. The benedicts and the lemon pancakes were so good. Great service and quick.

Great tasting food. It's even good for you, but it's fabulously delicious too! The regular hummus is really good. I love the turmeric rice. The baklawa is divine with or without the chocolate. And the carrot cake is great too. Price wise it's $15-$25 (after tip) per plate, pretty average price for sit down places now. The kids menu is clever and the meals (both adult and child) are very customizable. It's a bit noisy, so actually a decent place to take a family even with small kids.

The food here is good, but not great. It may be what I ordered, but I just didn’t feel like it was a truly Mediterranean dish. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken Shawarma pita and the chicken tasted like it was just sprinkled with some seasoning, so not impressive at all. The falafel’s were very small and not as good as I’ve had at other places. I will probably try somewhere else next time.

They are VERY on top of things here even if they are busy they keep things going fast which is great! Awesome menu options. Food was light and fresh! The staff was very friendly.

Ok, so this is 1 year old, but it still stands. Because we've been back twice. The food is so delicious and well seasoned that everything we've had has been a hit.the restaurant itself is unique, open windows all around, and don't forget to look up....so cool. Pictured Guava lemonade sweet and tart take one with. Food fire veggie lavish wrap with potato's and curry chicken salad.

Never have I ordered hummus and chicken from Pita jungle and had it come like this. My pitas weren’t warmed, and the chicken and hummus came in two separate containers rather than having diced chicken on top of the hummus as it always is. The chicken isn’t even marinated the way it should be. Lazy and disappointing for $15. Guess I’ll have to start going to the park west location instead because they actually know how to prepare this meal.

Pita is a great place. Healthy food that isn't flavorless! And so many options. I usually get the grilled chix breast and cilantro jalapeno hummus and have a bit of sirracha with it. The pizzas are also very good. The honey glazed chix one, in particular.

This was my first visit at pita jungle. Pita jungle did not disappoint. The food was delicious and fresh. The meat was tender plus they give you nice portions. Not stingy on the food at all. Like most restaurants. I will be back. Prices are good too. Great staff. Good service all in all 10 out of 10

Good ice cream joint at a good price. Disappointed that my cookies were rock hard which isn't conducive to an ice cream sandwich. My husband's brownie was also not warmed for his sundae. I'm not sure if this is normal for this location but was disappointing for the experience. Otherwise the ice cream was good and the experience/atmosphere was nice.

If you're looking for delicious ice cream with a fun twist, Slickables is worth a visit! Their ice cream flavors are fantastic—I tried the vanilla on double chocolate, and it was a perfect pairing. My only wish? That they warmed the cookies used for their ice cream sandwiches. A softer, warm cookie would elevate the experience even more! I also had the salted caramel ice cream on a chocolate chip cookie. After pressing the cookie into the ice cream to soften it up, it was perfection! I’d definitely give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it for a sweet treat. The inside may look a bit small and janky, but don’t let that fool you—the service and quality are top-notch, making it worth the visit

People eating or getting ready to eat iced cream are generally in a pretty good mood, and an iced cream shop usually reflects this. When it is the polar opposite experience, it makes me feel like I need to leave a review. I understand it's being renovated, and it really feels like it…but I didn’t hold that against them. I was in a pretty good mood when I walked in, excited for some iced cream. I greeted the staff with a friendly “how are you tonight?”. I didn’t get so much as a grunt to acknowledge my presence, which didn't necessarily bother me, but it did seem to suck any positive energy I brought in right out of the room. It was 9pm on Sunday night, but they were open 3 more hours. A shop specializing in iced cream sandwiches, I assumed, may have a different process than “give me a scoop of vanilla”. I have bad vision so I couldn’t see the menu/sign all that well, and just felt like having someone tell me how it all works. This time I may have heard a slight grunt (not 100% sure) following my question, after which I translated the subsequent uncomfortable silence to mean: “look at the menu/sign & figure it out yourself”. I know quality customer service is rare these days in general, but with at least 2 other shops within walking distance, you have to do better to stick around on Mill. The group I was with recommended every other place; no one mentioned Slickables. I chose it because it sounded unique, but mostly because it was the only one without a line. I got 2 sandwiches to go, but if I were with that person I was buying for, I'd still have taken it home vs. eating there. A couple of energetic, engaged employees capable of at least pretending to want to be there & serve customers would have made it a completely different experience. It would have taken just 5 minutes, and then they could get back to TikTok. A 2nd star because the dessert was still pretty good, but everything else could be a lot better.

Great ice cream, fair price, I love coming here to make my own ice cream sandwich Tons of good options, you pick 2 cookies and an ice cream scoop for just 4.50 There's not enough seating but that's not a problem because the weather is beautiful and there's places near by to walk And sit. It's right next to my favorite tea place ever and super convenient if your walking or shopping in the area. They are hiring !! It looks like they could use some extra hands in there , the employees seem exhausted

Absolutely top notch. Got the entire 6 people icecream and cookies and brownies plus a tip for $15. Unheard of! Cookies are good too, not hard and burnt. Prices are also linear so you can combine anything however you want and its not more expensive. Love it!

The only reason I give this place a 5 star review is because on Google you can't leave a 10 star review, which is what this cool little shop deserves. A customer focused treat shop with seriously delicious cookies and ice cream at a low price on Mill Ave. A great place to bring the whole family and the staff was super great too!

I had ice cream sandwiches delivered to work once & LOVED them, so it was a given that I went on a date with my husband later that week. We tried the birthday cake flavor and absolutely loved it. I personally like the chocolate cookie with mint chocolate chip in between. It's so good! Now, I really want ice cream!!

Dashing in Sunday at noon to get a sandwich and this place is packed from inside to out the live music is great, The line isn't too long but that's after you order they will get right to it. The menu is varied and you will definitely want to try some of the decanter favorites. The Staff is very peaceful and cheery to help if you need it. Keep in mind it will be a bit of a wait even with barely anyone in there but the shop is great the prices are a bit expensive (compared to Jersey Mike's offering a whole giant for similar pricing) for some of the sandwiches its great in value though and the variety is plenty to choose from would come back for a group eatout

First time here from a recommendation by my dentist. I was excited from looking at the reviews, photos, and menu. It was so disappointing once I came to have lunch today. I had the (full) duckling sandwich $12.99, 8oz coleslaw $2.89, fountain drink 24oz $2.99, and Kettle Chips 2oz bag $2.39… with two free pickles. The sandwich was good quality, but skimpy on the portion of meat - see photos. The coleslaw was dry; and not creamy at all. The chips and pickles were enjoyable. Everything served ‘To Go’ in a bag. You find your seating. There seems to be enough inside, and far more outside — nice to see the weather improving for outdoor dining. Mind people who are in the way unsure of where to stand while waiting for their order. Bathrooms are in a separate facility accessed out the back… turn right, turn right, and turn left. They’re clean. Keep the lights on so the fan/AC continue to run. Parking is a challenge. A lot of spaces marked Reserved for Copenhagen and DXL… so many that it’s ridiculous. I parked a good distance in the Target 🎯 parking lot. There’s a lot more to D&D — novelties, cheeses, sausages, breads & crackers, wines, etc. There’s a separate room for sampling(?) and drinks. I don’t know if I’ll return. Try them and see for yourself. I was disappointed in the serving portion of the duckling, and the coleslaw could be creamier.

This was a pretty pathetic turkey sandwich for $11. They don't make their own bread and the leaf lettuce was black and inedible. One small slice of cheese and then the rice kripy treats don't have prices, but it was $8. Pickles free, but not good.

Ordered the Hot One supposed to come with cheese, but didn't. Brisket tasted like barely seasoned boiled meat. Horseradish was on the sweet side. Expensive tiny sandwich, not worth it.

Been here a couple times and I am always pleased with whatever I select. Ingredients seem really good, they certainly taste great. Most sandwiches are unique but they have a couple classics. The actual building is an interesting experience in itself. Do yourself a favor and stop in here sometime.

So I've lived within a 5 mile radius of this place for the past 20 years and just visited it for the first time 🤯. For most of that time I thought it was some kind of fancy duck dinner place. I was way off and thanks to Google maps I learned the truth! The building kind of resembles and old time cottage. When you get inside it's dated ,takes me back to middle school or a store front from the 80's or 90's.Now I like sandwiches, I like to think I make a great sandwich at home with my boar's head meats. Apparently I was wrong because the sandwiches they make here are insanely delicious 😋. We tried a salami sandwich, a ham and egg burrito and a turkey sandwich. Now I like ham but never in my life have I ever tried or tasted ham like this. Sweet and packed with flavor,it was amazing. On to the salami,it was the daily special so I wasn't expecting much. I'm not even a real huge fan of salami lol. Took the first bite and instantly a fan,thinly sliced and great flavor. Another winner was the turkey, honestly I will eat any of these sandwiches over and over. Each sandwich comes with 2 pickles...need more pickles they're only 25¢ for an additional pickle. They also have a store front, a coffee bar and a wine and beer section. Really cool place, service is great and plenty of options. Can't wait to try all the other options .

My daughter had the Café Olé and I had the Jolly Green Giant. Both were simple but used good quality ingredients. The hot fudge on the coffee ice-cream was particularly pleasing. They seemed short handed when we first walked in but the young man scooping was quick and served a dozen or more customers cheerfully without getting overwhelmed.

Came here to kick off the girl scout season with a handful of 8 year olds. The parking here alone is terrible. One of the two reserved parking lots is next to a planter so if you don't have a small vehicle, it's pointless. The gal working did not appear to like her job. She was very short with the kids and after serving them ice cream was lecturing the moms about the kids being too loud. We understood the establishment was not a playground, but serving kids sugar and expecting them to sit calmly.. wasn't possible. Ice cream was good but other than knowing how old this business is, there was nothing extra special about it. We love ice cream and glad we got to visit. But I have no interest in returning. Maybe moving this to a better location would change my mind. The gal running the place needs to go. Worst customer service and hate to have her be the face of the store. I always try to be considerate of my negative reviews. This place wasn't terrible, it just wasn't anything special.

Great ice cream. You can definitely taste the quality. Customer service is also great. The menu does require a lot of reading, there are many options and for the first timer, it does take a bit of reading to figure out what you want. I guess it would be nice to see a couple of pictures up there to help guide the customer. The staff does do a great job of explaining the options, though. As part of an older strip mall, I was surprised to see how clean this place was kept. All in all, did love this place and will definitely be back for more.

When I walked in, I was greeted with a wonderful scent of ice cream that brought me back to my younger days. When I looked at the menu, I saw that I would be able to get ice cream for under $3, which I was really happy about. However, I honestly feel that I got what I paid for As ice cream was quite bland and overly hard. It felt like I was basically eating a cold, milky flavored meatball that happened to have a few cherries in it. The service was really good and the worker was very helpful and accommodating despite the fact that she was working on a paper, so that is the main thing boosting my score. I came back to get a vanilla. It was decent. Obviously a little more expensive, but around $3.50 which is still pretty cheap. It was more busy considering it was about 3:30 P.M. on a Sunday

Delicious ice cream with decent portions! After getting the Pecan Pete, I can say I am more than likely to return to see what other delicious ice cream is had. My friend had the Caramel Cashew which was equally delicious. Both had sauces that left us torn between eating it all at once instead of taking some home! If given the choice between Cold Stone and Mary Coyle Ol' Fashion Ice Cream, Mary will win every time.

Chestnut was once a place I held in high regard — even choosing it over other venues for business meetings. That goodwill evaporated last Sunday over something as simple as pancakes. My request could not have been more straightforward: no powdered sugar, toppings on the side. What arrived? Pancakes dusted in sugar. Fine, mistakes happen. But what followed was telling. Instead of promptly correcting their error, the remake was inexplicably delayed while a party of seven or eight, who ordered well after us, were served their full breakfasts first. Pancakes are not a soufflé; batter is ready, two minutes on the griddle, and they’re done.  When I finally got up to request a refund I saw ours pancakes had sat neglected in the window, the expediter appeared with a plate in hand, offering not service but snide defensiveness: “Oh, you don’t want your pancakes?” followed by the absurd insistence that we had been a priority - even as I watched her deliver half a dozen plates before considering ours. Hospitality is not complicated: own your mistakes, correct them quickly, and respect every guest equally. Chestnut managed to fail on all three counts. What should have been a simple, pleasant stop became an example in indifference and misplaced pride. We won’t be back - nor my business meetings. Plenty better options in the area.

this restaurant has to have the best food in Phoenix seriously. The breakfasts are gourmet tasty healthy. Even the coffee drinks are made to perfection. I can’t comprehend why anyone would settle for places like over easy or poached when they can get the best of the best here. I come to my office every Monday. This is an absolute must treat. Incredible food very nice people. They should be rated a 5.5.stars.

This is a cute brunch/lunch spot in the Biltmore area! It’s a walk up, order, and find a spot to sit at establishment with a variety of coffee, tea, sweet, and savory selects. Service was casual, decent. I did enjoy they had board games play. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and The OG. The menu doesn’t establish their prices for that menu item, only the range of the category. I didn’t care for this approach but it was different - it’s like price roulette. The Corned Beef Hash had a great portion for $15.50 and was very filling! Had the beef, 2 eggs, potatoes, onions, and peppers! The OG was okay - biscuit was kinda dry and needed a bit more syrup for the sweet/savory combo. Also ordered a vanilla latte and dirty chai latte which were good. Not too sweet and wasn’t weak in espresso. All in, the 4 items cost $45 so it’s on par with the cost in the area. Overall, it was a decent place and if I’m in the neighborhood, I’d try them out again and order something different.

Chestnut moved down the street to this location in “The Vintage”. Good stuff: Nice and open floor plan with plenty of parking front and back. I had a turkey club sandwich on thick cut fresh sourdough. It was loaded with deli cut roasted turkey, avocado, tomatoes, and a piece of maple bacon. It comes with a side of jalapeño marinated cucumbers and sweet potato chips. The staff was very nice. The “however” part: same reason I only went to The Chestnut once in its prior location: limited menu, order at the counter, soft drinks are bottled, (there is also a coffee bar), and there’s a weird mix of merchandise—including clothing—taking up half the floor. It’s like lunching in a 7-11 but with much better food. Brunch items have quite a bit of variety. Lunch is mostly sandwiches. There is limited table seating though it’s a large open floor. There is counter seating along the south window. The sandwich lacks a dressing for the bread. I asked for mayo and it was quickly brought out.

Simply, fantastic sandwiches on fresh, perfectly toasted bread! We absolutely loved the Turkey Pesto and Tuna Salad Melts! The ingredients were fresh and the bread had the perfect balance of buttery flavor and crunch without messing up the roof of your mouth! The cold brew was strong and their black iced tea had a hint of mango or some tropical essence that really brightened the flavor. The perfect summer lunch! We will definitely be returning to try all their sandwiches and other thoughtfully crafted offerings!

Your team and your food is always a 15/10. I’ve been there many times and every time I’m blown away. The staff is even more impressive than the food and the food is always perfect. I need to do better with pictures when there but this one is fantastic. A small addition to how awesome this spot is. Keep up the amazing work. You’re one of the best places in the valley and when compared to other Wildflowers I’ve been too by far the best in Arizona.

I’m very critical of places I eat, but I tell you this place is amazing The girls were knowledgeable and very friendly and you know we like to eat and friendly places because you always think they’re gonna do something to your food so man this place was a 1010 we destroyed our food. It was so good.

This was our first time eating at Wildflower. I had an extremely helpful lady at the register. Spicy food does not agree with me. She explained several options to me and my salad was wonderful. Husband and son food was good aswell. Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place.

I was very surprised how clean and friendly this place is. Service was very good and food was very flavorful. I had the orange juice and Roasted Veggie sandwich. Also the pancakes were very fluffy and tasty. Place was packed and my pancakes took a little bit longer and they gave me a gift card as an apology. What a nice surprise!. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I visited the Wildflower Bread Co on 75th and Bell rd on Friday 8/15 the resturant was well kept and very clean. Evan placed our orders and recommended some very delicious menu items giving an excellent descriptions of ingredients. I noticed all of the staff members were all very helpful and friendly to all of the customers making us feel comfortable.

I really enjoy breakfast from Wildflower. My biggest issue is their operating hours. How can anyone have breakfast here on a weekday? When they don't even open until 8:00. Then breakfast is only served until 10:30. The majority of people start work at 8:00. Most restaurants with a breakfast option open around 6:00-7:00am. I feel the company would generate more business if they allowed more opportunities for breakfast purchases on weekdays.

Nothing bad to say about this location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐; been eating here for years. The location is easy to see from the road, if traveling on, 75th Ave, towards Bell (SB). There are many entrances into a large parking lot, shared w/ other shops, either entering from, 75th Ave, or the, Arrowhead Mall loop, across from, Macy's. There are 2-3 handicap parking spots & the parking lot is smooth & in good condition. Inside contains ample seating, w/ full booths & tables which seat 4, then half booths which seat 2. Staff is very friendly & attentive; food is yummy & worth the price, & there are many drinks options, such as - water, teas, Coke products, lemonades, & juices. The restaurant is in good shape, clean floors, tables, & soft squishy padding, in the booth seats.

The greatest thing I have eaten all year was ice cream from this place, get in the car! Go! Had the toffee bourbon flavor of the employee rec. in a donut, free topping comes with, about $9 with tip. The audio of me eating that would get FCC fined so much, it was a good size dessert as well. Super fast and easy service, felt like a classic ice cream window and they probably beat out all the dairy farms I grew up next to with the flavor, maybe even all the pastry chefs I worked with/for. Novel Ice Cream & Roosevelt Row Vibes – A Perfect Weekend Spot We absolutely love this area! On weekends, The Wayward and Snapback Pizza were my go-tos, but discovering Novel Ice Cream was the cherry on top. This cozy little spot is tucked into a strip full of charm—art galleries, plant shops, unique local restaurants, and even a quirky print shop. There’s something cool around every corner. Novel Ice Cream serves up creative, delicious flavors—and I highly recommend trying the Fat Elvis. It’s rich, fun, and totally lives up to the name. The whole strip has a quiet, chill vibe that's perfect for a weekend stroll. Bonus points: if you linger long enough, you might spot a few friendly neighborhood cats. And if you're really observant, you just might find Where's Waldo hiding somewhere nearby—let me know if you do! Definitely worth a visit if you're into good eats, great ice cream, and local character.

Okay so this might be the best ice cream place in Phoenix! It was so flavorful and had great consistency. The dough melt was just WOW. So soft and warm, truly melted in our mouths. The service was friendly and quick — even with the line being long, it went by fast. Will definitely be coming back!

This year, Novel Ice Cream earned the top spot as the nation's number one ice cream shop, and deservedly so. They were also the top ice cream shop in the United States in 2019, so I am not surprised to see them ranked No. 1 once more. My discovery of Novel Ice Cream was in either late 2017 or early 2018. When I saw the overwhelmingly positive reviews it received on Yelp, I gave it a try. When I arrived there, it was still a good thirty minutes before they opened. I never thought that a tiny red shack would become my favorite ice cream place. There is a reason they say not to judge a book by its cover. When the previous owner, Brandon, saw me patiently waiting outside, he allowed me to come in ten minutes early to sample flavors to see if there was anything I liked. Upon trying my first sample, I realized I had found a new favorite ice cream place, and Novel Ice Cream has been my favorite ice cream shop since. Novel has eight flavors available every day, and four that rotate periodically. Of all the flavors I have tried, not a single one has disappointed me. Not only is their ice cream divine, but their sorbets are also exceptional. Their sorbets are also very refreshing. I also like that they allow samples. The service is friendly. No matter how long the line is, it moves quickly, and the wait is worth it. While I enjoy everything on the menu, my favorite item that Novel offers is the dough melt. While many ice cream flavors go well with the dough melt, the sorbets are hit or miss, depending on the flavor you get. They put a generous scoop of ice cream in the dough melt, along with a topping of your choice. It is their most popular item for a reason. You can never go wrong with the dough melt. For such high-quality ice cream, the prices are very reasonable. That is another thing I appreciate about Novel. I also like that they are a local, family-owned business. You can tell they care about making the best ice cream possible. The current owner, Shawn Allard, purchased Novel in August 2023, and I would like to give him a shout-out for ensuring the quality has remained consistent all these years. I also like the courtyard the shop is in. There are many shops in the area, including a barber shop. It has been a great pleasure being a regular customer for the last several years. If you are looking for a great ice cream shop in the Phoenix area, Novel Ice Cream is the place to go. I will continue to support Novel and spread the word about how great they are. When it comes to ice cream in Arizona, Novel is the king.

Deserves Best Ice Cream ranking, really good Ice cream. Interesting location, small little building that shares patio with coffee place, tattoo shop, barber and wedding planner. Bourbon Ice Cream deserves the praise it receives, exceptional! Vanilla Ice Cream is also delicious and the waffle cones are spot on. Little bit of a drive but worth it!

I had a great experience; my ice cream donut sandwich was delicious. The guy who took my order was very kind, the service was fast, and my donut was fluffy and fresh.

In the mood for breakfast, brunch, or lunch and in the Tempe area we found this little spot on the corner. Parking will be an issue as you may have to pay for parking depending on what time and where you decide to drop anchor. Also, depending on the time, how many are in your party, you may have some seating issues. There is a outside seating as well, however, this is the Phoenix metro area so depending on the time of the year it may be scorching outside. Now let's get to the food, pretty decent list to select from. Everyone in our party of 6 found something different to satisfy their food needs. My egg white zucchini was quite delicious. Restrooms not appealing. Otherwise, good place to eat.

Met a friend for breakfast. I ordered the Morning Glory and was excited for it but it needs more flavor. Mimosa was good! Interactions with the staff were friendly. Overall I would definitely come back I enjoyed the atmosphere and views. We went at 9am on a Saturday and had no problem finding a table. You will need to pay for parking but there are quite a few lots/garages around. If you plan on coming late morning maybe check the menu ahead of time. As the others have said you order then find a seat.

Mapped and walked over from hotel during a quick visit. It’s one of the few breakfast/brunch places open at 7am in this area. I have to agree with the other reviews, it’s ok but not spectacular. I was immediately greeted and welcomed, and service was 5 stars. Food tasted just ok, and portions v price were kinda on the small side. There was not an option to add on half orders of waffles to omelet meals. The coffee was good, but my omelet was folded on the egg side and not the cheese side (cheese side up), so all the veggies fell out with each bite I cut with the fork. Atmosphere was weird as there was construction behind the beverage station and street construction just out the front doors. Not a chill coffee & breakfast vibe, but maybe that will change after the construction is complete.

Folks w Celiacs- rejoice!!!!! The waffle iron is dedicated gf and the red velvet waffle is possibly the greatest waffle ever (w or wo gluten). There are a couple gf goodies, mainly non gf options, lots of coffee choices and a bar- def make a it stop in Tempe!!

Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli 3052 N 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016 Happy 4th of July, dear friends! Today was a busy yet fulfilling day as I worked on my new listing in Central Phoenix. After capturing some lovely photos, I felt a delightful hunger coming on, and I was thrilled to discover a charming restaurant nearby. The Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli instantly reminded me of my grandmother’s warm kitchen, filled with love and delicious aromas. It was heartwarming to see that the kitchen staff seemed to be all ladies, adding to the cozy atmosphere. I decided to treat myself to the Kabob Combo plate, along with a dessert and a refreshing Coke. The combo plate was a delightful experience, bursting with flavor, though I found the chicken a bit on the dry side. Nevertheless, it was seasoned beautifully, making it enjoyable. The dessert was a true highlight! I loved its texture and taste, even though I’m not quite sure what it was called. It was simply delicious! I left with a happy heart and a promise to return soon to explore more of the delightful dishes on their menu. This place is definitely a gem worth revisiting!

What a terrific experience we had at the Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli! The service was wonderful and they accommodated my gluten free needs with many choices. They have the most amazing gluten free pitas, breads, hand pies, pita chips, and even gluten free BAKLAVA! FYI, get their lemonade because it's amazing. The owner was very helpful and also taught me about some of the unique beads that they have and the purpose and culture behind it. This place is also a mini market so although it feels a bit tight when ordering, there's plenty of room at the tables. The whole place is thoroughly decorated and there is authentic art on the wall, some of it 100 years old! It was a wonderful meal and a memorable experience.

The customer service here was top notch, amazing, all of the ladies were so sweet. The food is definitely worth the stop in here and they have gluten-free options for my daughter who has celiac disease. They have a great selection of Middle Eastern groceries as well and Frozen groceries if you are not wanting to dine in but maybe take something home. But they have a fresh restaurant as well and their gluten free pita is so amazing.

We had the Combo plate and lamb ouzi. Both were delicious. We came at 1pm on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating. Great service, kind employees. Will definitely return.

Don't let the old-school building fool you! I had them cater for 2 work events, they were amazing. They take great care of any dietary needs, and threw in a few extras like their baklava when they learned it was for a nonprofit org. Would absolutely work with them in the future.

This is a great place for breakfast. We had the lemon blueberry pancakes and also the scramble both were very flavorful. We also ordered the brown sugar shaken espresso that tasted great However it was in a small cup, it was maybe 12 ounces w/ lots of ice, of course due to the drink. You may get approximately 6 ounces of the actual coffee - don’t get me wrong it was delicious But you only get so much for the $7.50 cost. I would return, great vibes, friendly service, tasty food with neat presentation.

The food was amazing as usual, the atmosphere is great whether you sit inside or outside. Unfortunately they did not have any of the green chile pork for the Cuban so we will have to try that next time. The staff is lovely. We will be back for more!

We both enjoyed a sausage biscuit breakfast sandwich and it was SO insanely tasty! The biscuits were amazing, the tops of them were crusted up perfectly. The sausage is delicious, but what really put them above and beyond was the jalapeño marmalade. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time.

What a fun brunch spot! And the food was wonderful. I came in and ordered immediately at the counter. This place is busy so be patient! I got the quiche of the day (goat cheese tomato) amd a lemon bar to go. The flaky pastry of both the quiche and lemon bar was top tier. I also ordered a lavender honey coffee and they were able to make it with almond milk and decaf. It was so delicious. Seating here is very limited inside but they have a sizable patio out back with sails over the top and a beautiful mural. This place is woman-owned and has been here forever. It feels good here - like a place so established that only the locals know about it and they're not sharing the secret. 10/10.

I had the Pork Chili Verde and it was phenomenal! I brought home a cinnamon roll and coffee cake which were a hit at home. I would definitely go back. Expect a line to get inside but the food is worth it!

The cast iron baked eggs had a delicious and unique flavor while the banana pie was a generous serving and the perfect balance of sweet. The outdoor seating had mist fans and trees with oranges, which made the experience more memorable.

I ordered the nova lox bagel. It comes as an everything bagel toasted. The inside of the bagel was nicely brown but the outside appeared burnt. It was also very very hard. I cut it in half and proceeded to do my best to eat half of the bagel. I finished almost the first half, and just couldn't get through the rest due to the severely hard outside of the bagel, burnt sesame seeds and poppy seeds. We brought it to the front and they offered to make a new one. A few moments later my husband comes back with a to- go box and I stated that was quick. He was told by management that it wasn't burnt just toasted and they would indeed not be fixing the issue. Based on the half I attempted to eat but couldnt due to extreme bitterness from the burnt parts and extremely hard bagel, plus the photos provided of what was left for me to eat; I sure do think this was not handled correctly by the management. We don't eat out much anymore and this was a new place for us to try as a special occasion breakfast. Honestly will not be returning. Banana bread was also dry, chorizo burrito small. They do have a nice atmosphere outside in the back and the cashier was very friendly at ordering.

The food was very average—not something I’d go back for. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not impressive. There are plenty of sushi spots that offer much better quality for the same price.

Friday night around 830 pm, right before happy hour at 9. We ordered the authentic ramen, bang bang specialty roll, spicy tuna roll, chicken fried rice and crab puffs. The food was ok, price didnt reflect the quality. It was cozy and intimate for a date night. The ramen seemed like something we could've done stove top at home, the bang bang was overrated snd pricey (the kick from the habaneros masked the poor quality of fish), the fried rice was buttery and soft but the chicken was flavorless and it was served in a chipped bowl. The crab puffs were small, reminded me of fortune cookie size. Service was good though!

I've been coming to sushi 101 since 2012. Their specialty rolls do not miss. They have lots of options from salads, rice, noodles bowls, maki, and some amazing desert. Their hhr is daily 3 to 7. We got spring rolls and pork gyoza. It was light and crispy and the dipping sauce was so good. For rolls we did a shrimp tempura with crunch and Philly. For special rolls today was the diamond backs and sun devil. The service was quick and she checked on us frequently making our experience today a great one. We'll be back soon!

First time eating here. Tried two rolls from the Specialty menu, both were yummy! One was called Bang Bang, can't remember the other one. The recipes on the Specialty menu are creative; it was hard to decide. And, they don't overdo it with the rice, so you can enjoy these great flavors without feeling overstuffed with starch. My goal is to try every roll on the Specialty menu. Kudos to Luis the sushi chef and Jill, the hostess. A very pleasant dining experience!

I'm so happy to find this place! Best Sushi I have been to in Arizona, hands down. I've lived in Hawaii and been to Japan. The quality of food and freshness is as good or better than I've had there. Truly something for everyone on their menu. You can tell they go through great pains to get the best ingredients to use in their time-tested authentic recipes. If you're looking for the best Japanese food in Arizona, look no further. This is the place! The environment is very clean and friendly plus there are plenty of TVs for the sports enthusiasts. Another great thing is I noticed that under their bar they have outlets so if you're Cellphone is low you have a place to get a charg while you eat. Take my advice and stop in like me. I'm sure it will become your new local favorite!

They got my food order wrong 2 times. I ended up eating the second order even though it was not what I ordered as I was hungry and my friends were done eating their meals. The waiter apologized and said he will take 10% off my bill. The manager came over and said because I ate most of the food she would NOT give 10% off my meal even though the waiter had already said he would and I thanked him. I have never had such poor service, it was like a slap in the face!

Came in to pick up an Uber eats order I placed, the vegan options are so good. Love that there’s options available like that. The manager with the gray braided hair was lovely (didn’t catch their name) and made sure that I got my food promptly, will definitely be back to sit down and dine.

They say avoid airport restaurants, but I disagree, especially here at Cowboy Cíao! The food was amazing, and the service was great! The waitress was very friendly and polite. We were seated at a table, and we took our time to dine. We were not rushed out. Recommended. 5/5

Tables are super close, but to be expected in the airport. We shared a quesadilla. It was decent; nothing to write home about. Pico de gallo is devoid of flavor. Salsa is meh. Service was top notch as was the size of my second 9 oz pour of Pinot Grigio, which was decent as well. It is noisy if all tables are full. There’s also limited room for suitcases, but again, it’s an airport restaurant so…Overall, a decent place to kill time in terminal 4 near gate B22. Sit by the window for views of planes leaving and arriving, but don’t expect a peaceful experience.

The food was delicious. We had the Turkey Melt and the Stetson Chopped Salad. The arugula was delicious and the sandwich was substantial and cooked to perfection. We were at the airport with not many options, so you wouldn’t expect the atmosphere to be great. We were crammed in and sat right by the entrance. Service was a bit slow, but given they have no real competition, we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was.

Was seated quickly, waited an extra few minutes for a server. The waiter was very nice and food came out quickly. It was delicious to say the least.

Went 7 months ago and again tonight’ Solid place for a beverage and some food as you are between flights. Chicken quesadilla is a good choice. The shrimp polenta was actually much better than expected! Have a big cold draft beer or a decent glass of wine as you pass the time. Maybe watch some TV/the game. Prices are “airport high”, but that’s to be expected! Our bartender server, Karen, took a long second to notice us, but after that she was attentive and very nice VictorB

I've bought two cakes for my parent's birthdays this year and they loved them. I wish I had taken a picture of my dad's face yesterday when I opened the box with his cake in it. We hadn't had Red Velvet cake in a long time. It was already made but my family enjoyed it. The photo of a cake looks a little weird because it had just been sliced. I bought a cookie platter for my students for Valentine's Day. I was concerned they wouldn't eat them all. My students and other staff ate the entire platter within a week. Thank you Barb's bakery!

Special ordered a cannoli cake for my daughter's birthday. It was AMAZING! Everyone I dealt with was friendly & helpful. They have a huge assortment of pastries, each on looks better than the next! This is definitely my go-to for baked goods.

Barbs Bakery is the best place in Arizona for cakes. We have been using them for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. There staff are fantastic, always provide excellent service and produce beautiful delicious products.

Came in 15 minutes before closing with a custom cake order I needed the following morning. I ordered a pink champagne cake with custom art on top that I designed and emailed over for them (Only a $15 charge to add graohic prints) Cake was ready on time and exceeded presentation expectations. Parts of ends of cake a tiny bit dry but the entire center was amazingly moist and delicious. I will definitely be returning. I have been frequenting for their cupcakes as well the price point is extremely fair.

Adding to my review... I’m beyond thrilled with my birthday cake! I keep looking at my pictures and showing it off to everyone. This year was a big one—I turned 50 years young! Since I was 5, I’ve had the same birthday cake every single year, but I decided to celebrate this milestone by doing something completely different. The flavor combination we chose ended up being a close version of the wedding cake I always wanted but never had, which made it even more special. Walked in door greeted , and said they’d be would be with me in a minute. Gentleman came out of back greeted and helped me, made recommendations. We chitchatted and I cashed out, he made a recommendation for one of their danishes, he put in bag free of charge. He was very kind, it was definitely a nice change of pace, everyone should check this place out!

Good coffee and juice. I had a cortado which was nutty and creamy. My wife had a honey lavender latte which was also good. To eat, I had the burrito which was honestly a solid burrito. Good size and it was delicious. The salsa with it was also excellent. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and it was also a solid portion and taste. It’s obviously a very busy place due to its excellent food and drink, so be prepared to stand in line when visiting during busy hours, but I don’t think we waited for longer than 15 minutes. We went at 11:00am on a Saturday and it’s my understanding that it isn’t always busy like that. 10/10 I highly recommend.

I’ve come into Berdena’s a few times and I’ve had a great experience every time. When I’ve gone in on weekend days, all of the baristas are super friendly and bring great energy to the busy store! They also have great coffee knowledge. Berdenas has one of the best cortados I’ve had in Scottsdale! The breakfast burritos are also amazing.

We stopped here after a bad experience in a subpar shop and were delighted. The place is very small with limited seating and unfortunately seat hoggers on their mobile devices are a plenty, so seating here can be tricky. The service is friendly, helpful, and attentive. We did not have any food here as it was lunch time and the pastries were sold out, but the coffee was delicious. Can't wait to go back earlier and have some of their food (hopefully we can sit next time). If you go early, parking should not be a probelm, but one can always park near Fashion Square and have a short walk here if no immediate parking available.

I love coming to this cute coffee shop, but my experience yesterday was honestly horrible. I went around 11 AM, and the cashier was super sweet. But the barista making my drink… she did NOT know how to make the simplest order. I asked for an iced honey latte with oat milk. When my drink came out, all the honey was literally sitting at the bottom. I politely asked if she could please fix it because I like my honey actually mixed in, and she immediately gave me attitude. She started arguing with me saying “that’s how it is.” I asked if she could remake it and even explained a quick, simple way to mix honey so it doesn’t just sink. Then another barista jumped in, started making it super aggressively, and told me adding hot water “wouldn’t make a difference.” Spoiler: it absolutely does. Right after handing me the drink, she took off her apron, said she “needed a break,” and stormed out. It was honestly wild.

A perfect cup of coffee! The cold brew was good, but the regular cup of black coffee was the BEST. Our breakfast was delicious. The EAT Sammy was fabulous. Excellent service with a friendly staff and a very comfortable space to sit and chat with a friend.

I had the all day burrito. The big chunks of maiz con huevos so YUMMY! I'm going to make this a ritual. Me and my honey love coming here. It's a secret it's always fast avoid long long waits and come here.The location is central and so much for you to do!

Customer service is superb. I went in on a Saturday morning and was more than pleased to be treated with the utmost attentiveness and care. They told me about their food and drink options and I was not disappointed! Since I have a milk intolerance they were super sensitive to taking care not to put any milk or milk product in my breakfast sandwich. I also ordered a caramel soy latte (with their housemade syrup) and felt super at-home with their artsy and simplistic atmosphere. Will definitely be going here again.

My kids have trouble with how incredible this hot chocolate is. This coffee shop takes a real chocolate bar and frothed milk... My kids can't go back to powdered hot chocolate after this! I love that I can get a Vegan Chai Latte at the same time. 😍

So, my friend and I decided to swing by Jamba Juice after our gym session to fuel up with some smoothies. We’ve been loyal fans of the place for a while, but today… well, let’s just say the smoothie gods were not smiling upon us. As we stood there, scanning the menu for the umpteenth time (because who really remembers what’s on the menu after the gym?), the lady behind the counter was clearly having a “moment” with the cash drawer. And when I say “moment,” I mean a full-on verbal adventure that sounded like it belonged in an R-rated version of Pirates of the Caribbean. I haven’t heard words like that since my last encounter with a crew of sailors. I kept glancing at my friend, wondering if this was some sort of live-action swear-word performance art. But we stuck it out—because, hey, we were committed to those smoothies—and after about 3-4 minutes of colorful language (which, I’ll admit, did provide some entertainment), the lovely Aubrey swooped in to take our order and save the day. The drawer situation was eventually sorted, and we were able to pay, get our drinks, and flee the scene, not unlike a couple of shipwrecked sailors who just dodged a cannonball. In the end, the smoothies were good—classic Jamba Juice quality—but the customer service? Well, let’s just say it could use a little… polish. But hey, sometimes you get more than you bargain for when you pop in for a smoothie. And today, I guess I got a little extra flavor.

After the gym I wanted to get a greens and ginger drink so I stopped by. When I walked in I was never greeted nor informed well just be a min. They ignored me for 5 min until they finally came to the register. I ordered my drink I still holler over a $2 tip and went about my day. Horrible service…team members do not look friendly. I would not recommend this establishment to others.

I just started working close to this Jamba Juice and it is prob one of the healthiest, plant based options in this area. After spending time looking at the menus I settled on the greens and ginger. The first ingredient is lemon-aide. Generally lemonade has a good amount of sugar but it’s Jamba Juice so i thought it would be less. I asked if the lemon-aide contained lots of sugar and someone on staff told me, “it’s not too sweet” then another staff member told me, “there’s some sugar but it’s all natural” lol. The Greens and Ginger arrived quickly and i was handed it by a very smiley staff member. It was delicious and absolutely refreshing on this hot Phoenix day. Now the unfortunate part, I looked online and it has 77 Grams of sugar! It seems that I need to find a different option there. Suggestions? I want raw greens of some sort. I like almost all fruits. I am trying to significantly limit sugar. I prefer to stay plant based on most things in life EXCEPT when I go out on a special occasion for tacos. :)

I moved to the Phoenix area recently and was looking for a bakery that would make a gluten free and vegan cake for a gender reveal party. I came across Sal's bakery and had the best experience! First of all, Sal is so kind and professional in all communications. I had initially scheduled the cake and needed to reschedule. Sal was very understanding and accommodating. The cake turned out perfect and is THE BEST gluten free, vegan cake I have ever had. We will be coming back for any future parties or events. I cannot recommend this bakery enough. Thank you, Sal!!

My fiancé Steven and I have been on the lookout for a great bakery with gluten free options due to his allergies. LET ME TELL YOU, we were in for a *huge* surprise because their menu has a wide variety of options, from breakfast and lunch to pies, cakes and other desserts! They have a huge menu for keto and vegan options as well! You know how most gluten free items actually taste gluten free? Not-uh, not these desserts. Everything we have tried has been so delicious and DEVINE. I want to drool when I think of their food, honestly you need to just go and experience everything for yourself!

Biggest assortment of baked goods I’ve come across. The woman who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I am super impressed and will be enjoying my sweet treats. I got vegan and was not disappointed AT ALL. The donut was warm and fresh and the macarons were the perfect texture and sweetness.

This is such an amazing find! Both my daughter and I are Gluten Sensitive. My best friend is Gluten Free Vegan and I am also a diabetic. My Gal Sal's has everything to make all kinds of folks happy. It's so good that I can go with friends and everyone can find something that they can eat! The KETO offerings mean that I can enjoy some of my favorite desserts and not feel guilty! The food is delicious and my daughter goes crazy for the macarons with all the fantastic flavors. The cake pops are absolutely delicious and come in so many different options - they were the perfect option for me when choosing a Staff Appreciation Gift of Cake Pops for Painted Rock Academy and Sal generously added extra cake pops at no charge. This is a fantastic small business offering delicious food in a wide variety of allergy sensitive diets. Bravo to My Gal Sal!!!

My Gal Sal's is by far the best gluten free bakery in town. As someone with Celiac Disease, Sal has been an absolute godsend to me. I seriously cannot explain how much I love this bakery and the woman who owns it. All GF items are made and stored in a separate area from regular items. They also have a gigantic keto and regular bakery selection. Their lunch and breakfast menus are just as inclusive. Sal and her employees even know me by name at this point and leave cute notes in my take out. Recently, I ordered 6 large sugar cookies for fun and told Sal not to worry about the decorations too much. She went above and beyond and even told me "hearts because we love you here!" I seriously cannot recommend this place enough and would encourage people of all diets and lifestyles to check it out. You will not get a small town feeling like this from many other places in Phoenix.

I have had My Gal Sal make my vegan birthday cakes for several years now! They do excellent work and try hard to accommodate your requests! I highly recommend them!

Favorite bakery in Phoenix! The amount of variety they have and help they provide are second to none. Vegan, gluten free, paleo, keto, normal options are a available and taste fantastic. I have no doubt the rest of their menu is equally impressive. Definitely pop in and give them a try, especially if you have dietary restrictions!
