Bakery
Urban Cookies Bakeshop in Phoenix is a trendy, family-owned bakery that offers an array of delectable sweet treats made with natural ingredients. While the name suggests a focus on cookies, the bakeshop is renowned for its award-winning cupcakes, having claimed victory in various competitions. The menu features innovative cupcake flavors like churro cupcakes topped with cream cheese frosting and cinnamon sugar.
Thank you, Serena & Julia! We hired Urban for our wedding this weekend of around 75 people and were blown away with their work. We got 6 different cupcakes for various dietary needs, such as dairy free and gluten free, as well as 3 different types of cookies for our reception. I’m lucky to have a few left over, because they were popular as can be! It made such a beautiful spread on our dessert table! And when we picked them up they helped us to our car and told us care instructions for keeping them overnight, the staff at the counter were so friendly and helpful in wishing us congrats. Can’t reccomend them enough for a big event!

Unbelievably good! I have never had a more moist cupcake. The chocolate was decadent but not overly sweet. Silky smooth top with the crunchy bits were a perfect complement to this cupcake. The toasted coconut was so good my friend was dancing as she took her second bite. Friendly service, great recommendation of flavors, and inviting storefront. Sooooo good! Thank you so much!

Urban Cookies in Phoenix has been my go to sweetshop for the past few years! They staff here is always amazing and their baked goods are incredible! I try to pop in once a week to get goodies for my staff, and having several staff members who have food allergies or dietary preferences, Urban Cookies has been able to accommodate all of those! Definitely will be coming back to Urban Cookies!

Urban Cookies Bakeshop in Downtown Phoenix is my go-to for gourmet dessert treats! Their handcrafted cupcakes, doughnuts, cookies, and bars are beautifully made and taste outstanding. I especially love the dark chocolate sea-salt cookies and German chocolate cupcakes, each bite is rich and satisfying. They also offer delicious vegan and gluten-free options, so there's something for everyone. The shop has a warm, upscale-casual vibe, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A perfect stop for a sweet treat or special occasion. Highly recommend! 😊
Jacob H — Google review
I love this place! I stopped recently when i was looking for a good hearty homemade-like brownie. Oh my gosh, this place did not disappoint! It's such a cute little shop in downtown Phoenix. They offer gourmet sweets made from scratch and some are vegan. The brownie is got did not contain eggs. They are also very reasonably priced which is big for me because this delicious place should be affordable for the public. I've only tried the brownie but it was so decadent and airy, not too sweet and very light. 10/10 highly recommend.
Luna V — Google review
This place was awesome! They had a variety of desserts, including cupcakes and cookies. I tried the delicious margarita cupcake, which had creamy icing and actual tequila. The cowboy cookie was tasty too, and the kettle potato chips added a fun twist. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the shop is a cozy pick-up spot. I can't wait to return!
Jean E — Google review
I buy cookies here all the time for clients! Local delicious family owned bake shop doing things right. Fresh baked goods every day, unreal cupcakes, and super good cakes too! Everyone there is friendly, service is speedy as you'd hope, and the shop is always SPOTLESS and well decorated. Repeat customer for life.
Charlie M — Google review
This cupcake shop feels magical the moment you walk in, with displays so pretty they look like art. I grabbed a batch for my birthday and they were perfectly moist with just the right amount of icing and flavor. It made my day extra special and I cannot wait to go back for more.

Essence Bakery Cafe is a local chain in Phoenix known for its relaxed atmosphere and delicious offerings. The cafe, owned by French-trained chef Eugenia Theodosopoulos, is famous for its macarons but also offers an array of pastries, jams, and fresh bread made with Hayden Mills and organic King Arthur flour. The light-filled space off Indian School Road provides the perfect setting to enjoy their delectable treats.
Trying some new bakeries and breakfast spots around Arcadia and stopped by Essence for a bite this past week. I ordered the Egg Sandwich and thought it was delicious. The bun was so soft and eggs were cooked perfectly. The French Scrambled Eggs went well with the baguette, which also came with a jam that was to die for. I could eat this breakfast every day! The coffee and pastry didn’t disappoint either!
Carter K — Google review
I've been a fan ever since they were located in Tempe. The prices are a bit high, but it's totally worth it. You know the saying, "You get what you pay for." And if you want the BEST pastries around, this is where you'll get them. Trust me. Or don't, I'm sure that every review here is just as good as mine. This place is the real deal. Go there, try it, you'll see. Oh yeah. Awesome breakfast too.
Ron W — Google review
Best croissant in Arizona! I absolutely loved everything that I tried! Wonderful chef couple and legit scratch made pastry! There is nothing like this in Arizona in my opinion. if you haven’t had the chance to try this place it is the best croissant I’ve had since Paris. Go!
Amber G — Google review
Short & Sweet: Exceptional food (breakfast & baked goods), quick and friendly service, on-point decor and comfortable dining. Storytime: We're on vacation and found this place via Google with the thought of grabbing a quick coffee and something baked. Then saw the menu and switched to dining in. So glad we did. The food was perfect - and I don't use that word lightly - both the Big Breakfast & the Quiche. I am *not* a breakfast person and I want to come back just to have this again. I also grabbed a sweet treats box (pre-boxed assortment of baked goods). Didn't indulge in that until later in the day... big mistake. I wanted to go back for more of the macarons, but it was 1:55 and they closed at 2 pm. I truly believe they're the best I've ever had. The rest of the cookies were very good, but those were top notch. Location saved, just in case I'm ever in Phoenix again.
Amanda — Google review
Absolutely horrible, make sure to check your food carefully before leaving. I drove for an hour to come purchase many food items from this bakery. One of those items was the quiche Lorraine from their quick service area. When I got home I discovered both of the quiche's had mold growing all over them due to the bakery not safely storing their refrigerated goods that were obviously left out over the weekend. This is a major health hazard and I may even report it to the health department. After I complained I was refunded but nothing was done to compensate for this issue. Essence Bakery did not offer to replace the food items or comp my bill as a properly managed food establishment should. I recommend finding another bakery to eat at if not, eat here your own risk for food poisoning.
D J — Google review
Baked goods were incredible! Breakfast sandwich melted in my mouth. The Brioche was so good! Coffee was adequate, not my favorite but not terrible.
K H — Google review
This bakery is a community gem, delicious flavorful and fresh everything. The chef Eugenia an acclaimed pastry chef and her husband frequently step into the dinning area to say hello. A truly special experience.
Dana W — Google review
Unpleasant, horrible customer service. Whoever was wearing glasses and taking our order should work on her customer service and attitude in general. Our first reaction was: “I would never want to be friends with this girl.” It kind of ruined our experience to be honest. Although the croissants are good, we are never coming back. The coffee was not good either. If you charge almost $20 for a breakfast plate, shouldn’t you be providing good food OR good customer service at least? I saw neither in my visit. The breakfast plate was small and depressingly looking. We were deeply disappointed.

Churn is a charming ice cream shop located in Uptown, offering a delightful selection of homemade and all-natural ice cream flavors. The shop takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients to create inventive seasonal flavors that keep customers coming back for more. From nostalgic classics like peanut butter and butter pecan to rotating monthly options such as Peaches and Honey, Eggnog, Carrot Cake, German Chocolate, and the current feature Camp Patrick Smores flavor, there's something for everyone.
I swung by Churn one night in desperate need of a pick-me-up—and let’s just say, it delivered big time. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stepped into a modern-day twist on an old-fashioned soda fountain, minus the paper hats (but with way better lighting and air conditioning). The menu is a dream for indecisive dessert lovers: you can choose from their wildly tempting signature concoctions or go rogue and build your own ice cream masterpiece. Either way, there are no wrong choices—just cold, creamy joy in every bite. When the weather’s nice (read: anything under 100 degrees in Phoenix), the patio out back is the perfect spot to sit, savor, and pretend you’re in a rom-com montage. Whether you’re nursing a rough day or just chasing a sweet tooth, Churn is the kind of place that makes everything feel a little brighter—and a lot tastier.
Christopher O — Google review
Churn is such a vibe, the servers at this spot are so sweet 😉 Popular flavors include the bold Vietnamese coffee, creamy peanut butter, nostalgic s’mores, and the sweet, summery strawberry shortcake. Kids (and kids at heart) will love browsing the classic toys and novelties inside. There’s patio seating perfect for relaxing with your cone, and it’s conveniently located right next door to the Windsor cocktail bar—making it an ideal stop before or after drinks. A fun, laid-back treat destination worth the visit!
Christina ( — Google review
Churn Ice Cream is a fun little spot in Phoenix. I love the vibe of this small shop. It’s got that old-school ice cream parlor feel that’s both nostalgic and unique. On top of the delicious ice cream, they have a bunch of cool items for sale like retro toys and vintage candies that really add to the charm of the place. I tried the peanut butter flavor during my visit and it was excellent, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in their ice cream, and there are so many great flavors I still want to go back and try. The only small downside was the energy from the staff. It was midday on a Friday and there was just one person working who didn’t seem all that enthusiastic. It wasn’t a big deal, but it stood out a little given how fun and inviting the space itself is. That said, the ice cream speaks for itself. I’d definitely go back and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cool spot to satisfy their sweet tooth.
Rahmun C — Google review
The place was incredibly cozy, and I really enjoyed its warm and inviting vibe. The latte was smooth, creamy, and delicious. I decided to mix it with some ice cream, and it turned out surprisingly good—a sweet, rich combination that made the visit even more enjoyable.
Pegah K — Google review
The Vietnamese coffee flavor ice cream is incredible! Really fun, unique flavors and big portions. We also enjoyed the nice shaded & misted patio seating area in the back.
Jenna A — Google review
Churn is a go-to late-night destination for artisan ice cream lovers in Phoenix. Located on North Central Avenue, they’re open until 11 PM most nights (and 10 PM on Sundays), making it perfect for satisfying dessert cravings after dinner. Their handcrafted flavors balance nostalgia with creativity, classic butter pecan, seasonal specials, and rotating fruit blends that surprise in the best way. The shop’s ambiance, with retro toys, candy displays, and cozy interior plus outdoor seating, feels fun and inviting. Whether you’re stopping by solo or with friends, the host of flavors, the quality of texture, and the lively evening energy make Churn a standout dessert spot.
Lillian R — Google review
Soooooo good. Got a Vietnamese coffee ice cream and had then make it into an ice cream sandwich inside sinker doodle cookies! No regrets. We actually drove by it, as it's kinda hidden. And a tiny parking lot.
Gerrick C — Google review
Fantastic ice cream spot in Phoenix! Butter pecan was creamy/icy, it was exactly what I was looking for. Staff were friendly and it was only $5 for a single scoop! Surprised I haven’t been back sooner. A bit of a limited selection but they have the favorites.

Pane Bianco Central is a relaxed eatery known for its contemporary Italian menu featuring sandwiches, salads, and pizzas made with freshly baked bread. Founded by Chris Bianco, the restaurant initially gained popularity as a lunch spot but has since expanded to offer a variety of delectable Italian dishes. While Pizzeria Bianco may be more renowned, Pane Bianco holds its own with an array of mouthwatering options.
Stopped by on a Friday for lunch. Wife had the Italian combo and I had the prosciutto. Holy cow. That prosciutto on the homemade focaccia was crazy. Mozzarella was so creamy and delicious. She loved her combo especially the mortadela but she wished there had been more of that. Just finished half the sandwich to save room for dessert, a slice of NY salami to go. That pizza... I know the pizza there is always delicious, and we've enjoyed the pizza at downtown Bianco for a long time, but this slice, don't know what they did, but the sauce was tomatoly ridiculous, the cheese perfectly melty, the thinly sliced salty salami, but tbh I've never eaten a pizza crust that good in my life. That wheaty, floury flavor, the aroma, and it cracked like a baguette at the crusty end. Shoved the slice into my mouth in the parking lot. Thanks, guys!
Jon — Google review
You won't find a better restaurant specializing in artisan sandwiches. Pane also features NY Style pizza from their Wood-Fired oven. Fresh focaccia and homemade mozzarella. Daily market specials for sandwiches and salads. Wonderful desserts including the best tiramisu I've ever eaten. Visit Pane Bianco and spoil your taste buds.
D A — Google review
Had lunch at Pane Bianco yesterday and really enjoyed it! I ordered the tuna salad and it was plentiful for the price. I really liked the rustic and home-y ambience of the restaurant. It had a unique vibe to interior design. The fresh bread was also awesome.
Kelly S — Google review
Wow! Pane Bianco is the cut spot for lunch. 🍕 🥗 🥣 🥖 Amazing pizza and awesome sandwiches. Simple recipes made from high quality ingredients make for fantastic food. I eat at Pane Bianco about once a week and everything is amazing. The pizza is fantastic. 🍕 Simple slices make for the perfect lunch. Any of the salads are great. The green salad is the perfect accompaniment to any of the pizzas. The market salad is great to share or can be a lunch for one person on its own. Today I had the market sandwich which was arugula, ricotta and roasted tomato with balsamic vinaigrette. 🔥 I thought I was going to be missing the protein but the sandwich was perfect 💯 Highly recommend for lunch. Protip: the veggie soup is underrated and served with a slice of their bread. Try it, you’ll love it. 🥣
Jazmin M — Google review
This is the worst Italian sandwich I have ever had. The bread was really dry, possibly stale and hard. The meat portion was not worth the $16 price tag. Bianco should stick with pizza. Don’t waste your money here, instead get a footlong at Subway for half the price, you’ll enjoy it more. Or order the pizza. It looked good. The staff were nice, at least.
Ric V — Google review
That was outstanding. I got in finally and tried some slices. I tried a N.Y. red slice and a Pepperoni Al Taglio. The sauce on the red slice was one of the most flavorful sauces i have ever had on a pizza. Delicious. The crust was ok. Crispy but almost paper thin. I feel reheated slices can wreak havoc on a pizza dough but good for what it was. I would have enjoyed a touch more salt in the dough. I’m a crust eater. The pepperoni was one of if not the best Sicilian/Grandma style pizza i have ever tried. So light and airy with a nice crispy crust and the sauce, cheese and pepperoni were the perfect amount of toppings just packed with flavor!!!!!!
Adam B — Google review
I was craving a calzone but didn't realize it was only available during lunch time. This was my first time having the pizza and it was delicious! I would recommend having garlic added to the Green, gives it an extra something, that is, if you like garlic. Looking forward to going back.
Az J — Google review
This place does not disappoint. We had a party of 6 and were seated immediately during lunch. When we walked in, the fresh smell of fresh bread reinforced our belief we made a good choice for lunch. Our group had pizza, calzone, and the Italian Combo. All the food received good reviews. The Italian Combo had a great mix of flavors with a small Italian spiciness to it. I am not a spicy food guy, but did not mind the subtle spice.

Lots of options here. Come early because many things sell fast. Better prices on cakes as well. Since Panera no longer sells the Brittany's or (the kouign amann or Breton), this place has kouignettes). Croissants are huge. Lemon was great too.

Heard good things so I dropped in to give it a go. I was NOT disappointed what so ever! The staff was friendly and quick. The bakery was clean and tidy. The baked goods were absolutely amazing! The spinach and cheese croissant was fantastic! The chocolate croissant was excellent as well. Probably the best sugar cookies I've ever had. And they were decorated beautifully too. I'll definitely be going back!

I love little treats, one might say I'm always on the hunt for them. Came here while I had some time to kill and the eas no shortage of delicious looking treats to choose from. Had the apple danish and cherry turnover. These treats hit the spot!

This was such a memorable and amazing birthday experience!!!! This was our impression of a Chick-fil-A cake made by Christine (who is absolutely amazing to work with and did her vision for this cake). It was a red velvet cream cheese cake and probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had…. 25/15 will be coming here for everything! Thank YOU Karl’s Bakery!

This place is amazing! High quality, affordable, personable and competent staff, and a wide variety of delicious treats! My boyfriend and I like to get up early and grab a box of pastries from them every few weeks as a special treat, and everything we've ever had there is just to die for. We discovered it when looking for a Swedish princess cake for my birthday, and it was incredible! I highly recommend this bakery, and of course we'll be back.

Before I get started let me just say there customer service is TOP TEIR! They went above & beyond to have this order ready in a timely matter & when I had wait a few extra mins as they were extremely busy they added in some extra goodies for waiting. The cakes were SO delicious & adorable for a little girls 1st bday! You must try the spinach croissants, They are out of this world!!!

Love this place! The options are stellar- if you want any dessert, you can probably find it here. The muffins are amazing & so are the brownies. There's literally a chocolate lava muffin, which I've never seen before. Their decorated sugar cookies are a little hard & taste a little stale, but they are adorable. You have to visit this place- you will not regret it :)

We tried 5 delicious and elegant stylings, but we ultimately selected the 6th - the funfetti style. I thought we were just childish at first, but I won't hesitate to say that I have never had a better funfetti cake in my life - and its softness was easy to cut in front of a hundred people too!

Beautiful bakery. We tried 8 different macaron flavors today in order to decide which ones will be used as party favors. They were ALL delicious and gorgeous to look at. My kids and I left giddy.

Thank you for your hard work making my cake. I ordered a cake for my grandparents 50th anniversary and everyone was blown away by the design. The almond cake with strawberries and cream was outstanding. Thank you for helping our party be even more special.

Really enjoyed this place. The boba was just right, semi sweet and flavorful. On this note, it seems like a good place to sit down and enjoy a beverage and a dessert (once they open the dining room). Inside it has a nice open and spacious ambiance. Highly recommend. Cotton candy on top of boba is an extra!
Pavel S — Google review
I was very impressed. Great customer service. Explained menu items to me as well as gave a few good recommendations. The Macaroons were very good. The Iced coffee and lemonades were just as good. Even though the inside seating is closed for covid, they had a cute table outside we could sit at and enjoy. The ambiance inside is very insta-worthy, if you’re into that sort of thing. Definitely recommend as a cute mini date spot then maybe a walk around old town. I’d like a better variety though.
Stephanie P — Google review
Food: Overpriced, so brace yourself. However, I will say the flavor is well worth the splurge. I would recommend the Chocolate Chip Cookie and Neopolitan macaroons. Their Matcha boba drink with cotton candy is also quite fantastic and mind the Vietnamese coffee, it is cold brew so it won't be as thick as a normal Vietnamese coffee. Atmosphere: Crisp and to the point. The greenery adds to their minimalistic style with their products placed purposefully on shelves. But the large table in the middle of their shop obscures the beautifully crafted pastries and, on first sight, doesn't help create a comforting environment for patrons who enter. In other words, the brass chairs, quiet atmosphere, and hard tables don't invite me to sit down and chat for longer than a couple minutes. Service: I've had the same girl who has served me the past three visits and she has always done a spectacular job, giving recommendations and being very kind. Overall: Great little shop with lots of eye candy and delicious, but expensive, delicacies and drinks. Fantastic for a girl's hangout or a quick drop-by for something delicious.

One of the prettiest bakery in town, absolutely loved their decor very instagrammable.. Had lavender iced latte with boba, pistachio rose macaron and oreo chocolate macaron.. Loved all of it , though chocolate macaron was a bit sweeter for me.. They have some amazing macaron flavours would definitely love to try other flavours on my next visit.. And you can also choose different flavours and make a macaron gift box , m sure people with sweet tooth gonna love it..

Dirty Dough in Scottsdale is a popular spot for dessert lovers, offering a delectable variety of cake cookies made with high-quality ingredients. The cookies are known for being super thick and generously loaded with chocolate chips, ensuring every bite is packed with flavor. Visitors can expect to find a weekly selection of cookie flavors on display at the counter, each one creatively crafted and explained by the enthusiastic staff.
Recently we ordered these delicious cookies from dirty dough. They have a rotating cookie menu so you will have a hard time choosing between these deliciously scrumptious options. I tried 6 different flavours which I absolutely loved. Order your box of cookies now.

What a nifty specialty cookie shop! They have the weekly varieties on display on the counter. On my visit, they had eight cookies on offer. The lady behind the counter enthusiastically explained the options and made them all sound fantastic. I could only choose one, though, and went with the Reese's Reverse. That cookie was like a fat dome! She added a fresh drizzle of chocolate sauce and sprinkled on Reese's cereal pieces. It was packed in a handy orange box that kept it safe for the trek afterward. I ate the cookie a few hours later. Wow, but it was good. The outside had a rich peanut butter flavor, crisp yet chewy in texture, with an interior stuffed with chocolate. This was a chocolate and peanut butter lover's dream come true. On my visit in September 2022, it was $4.25 with tax, but considering the size, I think it was a good deal. This thing is comparable to a piece of cake, a major treat.

Melt in your mouth, ooey gooey cookies! We stopped here while out and about checking out Tempe/Mesa area. Yes they are a little pricey (on par with similar "fancy" cookies companies) but they are so much better! If you are looking for a nice little treat for yourself, this is the place to check out.
Jonathan F — Google review
So, I really didn’t want to like these because I hate the name of the place. But just tried and they are excellent. We got 4 flavors, pop tart, caramel chocolate, peanut butter and jelly with white chocolate, and peanut butter cup. The flavors are fantastic and they looked beautiful in the box. Only deducted 1 star because they are so messy and gooey that you need a fork to eat them, also a tad sweet for me but really so good!!!!! These would be perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. No photos before the tasting. 🤪
Allison K — Google review
Best. Cookies. Ever. Let me preface by saying I’m not the biggest sweets person but my goodness! They were beyond delicious, I loved the Reese’s one most of all. When I’ve had other gourmet cookies I’ve felt drowned in sugar by their icing and can barely finish a quarter piece. But I can honestly say I almost the whole cookie here at dirty dough. I will definitely be returning!

You see this review? Want to know why I am writing this? BECAUSE DIRTY DOUGH IS THE BEST COOKIE IN THE VALLEY. No question, hands down. Mouth open. Delicious, Delectable, Doughy goodness that no one is prepared to consume. Cookies you’ll need a fork to eat! Expertly crafted recipes with top of the line ingredients.

Staff was great, cookie presentation was great, but the flavor was just really lacking, they were pretty bland (and we tried four different flavors and we thought this was true for all of them). The texture is good though. I'm a bit baffled by the 4.5 star rating as Chunk is also rated 4.5 stars but their cookies are way more flavorful.

Tried the fruity crisp tonight, and it was SOO GOOD 🤤 the fruity pebble with the marshmallow cream filling was the perfect combination and made it the perfect texture. 😍🤤😋💗 — Our first time here tonight, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the cookies & cream cookie SO MUCH! The unique combination of soft, chewy, crunchy with a cookie dough texture in the center and classic cookie texture on the outside made these cookies delicious and perfect, quite possibly my favorite cookie ever in my entire life!! 😍🤤🍪❤️❤️ also, the cookies were huge and customer service was great! Will be back for sure! 🥰

Uncle Biff's California Killer Cookies is a delightful family-owned cookie shop that takes pride in crafting an array of homemade cookies using only the finest natural ingredients. With signature offerings like chocolate chip, double fudge, oatmeal raisin, coconut macadamia, and even oreo stuffed varieties, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The recipes have been passed down from Uncle Biff's grandmother and have gained such popularity that they now boast locations in both San Diego and Phoenix.
Classic homemade style cookies. I love to stop by Uncle Biff's when I'm near the Biltmore. The flavors and customer service remind me of my grandmother's baking. They give free samples to try. The holiday packaging is fun for grab and go. Highly recommend this small business cookie shop!!

Had lunch down the street at Otro Cafe, decided to stop in here randomly and acquire some cookies. Lots of parking in the back, with convenient access. I walk in, immediately am given a sugar cookie to try out, an older man named John asks me for honest feedback on the sugar cookie and all I can amount are - it tastes good, and it tastes like a sugar cookie. Impressive feedback, apologies John, best I could do at the time. Honestly, it tasted just as you'd want a sugar cookie to taste like, so I think they nailed it on that front. Asked if I could take a couple pictures, permission granted, bought a half dozen and he included a free cookie (their California Killer Cookie). Unique cookies. Tasty. They're not overblown and excessive like Crumbl cookies, they're still kind of expensive, but they taste more how you'd think a bakery cookie should taste. More normal is what I'm getting at. In my picture of three cookies, the middle one is their California Killer Cookie. Biffer Doodle (Snicker Doodle) on the left, and on the right a White Macadamia Nut (my favorite out of all). Little heavy on the wallet but delicious.
Nick M — Google review
I hadn't been inside for more than 20 seconds, and I was greeted with a smile and had a fresh warm chocolate chip cookie in hand as a sample! I had been down the road nearby and craving a cookie, I Google searched and, to my delight, found this just 2 miles away. I bought a half dozen variety... because I just had to try everything! With half a dozen you get a free drink and then they threw in an extra cookie because I had mentioned which ones my kids would enjoy. Some of the best customer service that I've experienced anywhere in a long time! And the cookies were perfect!

Great for children. Areas provided for kids to color and enjoy their cookies. Great selection of tasty cookies. Ice cream is available for cookie sandwiches. Taking points off my review for lack of adult seating, and my cookie was underdone. But friendly service and really good cookies!
Michael T — Google review
Great service! We were welcomed right away and were giving free samples which we did not even know they had! The cookies are so soft on the inside but crispy and buttery on the outside. It is a nice treat to have and they have a Valentine's Day cookie that is Cherry and is amazing! A little pricey but so worth it to get even just a few cookies because they are very satisfying.
Jennifer O — Google review
I showed up a half hour before they closed and was blown away by the service and care of the staff on site. They explained all the flavors that were available and guided my choices. I chose a half dozen and tried most of the flavors. Each cookie was warm, gooey and delicious. These are your grandma's cookies. If grandma was a wizard in the kitchen :) Uncle Biff's isn't a recommendation, it's a must. Like right now!

This is a wonderful family owned and operated local business that deserves your support. One bite, and you'll be hooked! The Salted Carmel chocolate chip is my favorite. They have a nice selection of fresh and warm cookies, and you can even get a glass of milk. The dough isn't shipped from a factory like the chain spots. They make the dough fresh, in-house with all natural ingredients, and you can tell the difference. Stop by and find out for yourself. This will be your new favorite dessert choice.

They cater to different dietary preferences with vegan and gluten-free options available. Customers rave about the delicious flavors such as oatmeal chocolate walnut and birthday cake cookies.
Love the service, offering a free cookie for a survey, can be cashed in right away or saved! Delicious options, big cookies! Very delectable!

Cookies were good and staff was friendly. A bit overpriced... pictures on menu look bigger, but good stop for a quick dessert. They also have ice cream.
Chad H — Google review
So very disappointed 3 out of 6 cookies we purchased were raw! Spoke to a shift leader, explained the cookies were raw. He stated they are supposed to be that way! $18.00 dollars basically for 3 cookies, over priced & way under cooked. FYI: The email you provide for your business to make it right, doesn’t seem to work.
Esperanza P — Google review
Stop by ASU campus for cookies, this place is delicious. Vegan and gluten free options available. Cookies, brownies and ice cream… what more could you want! This place is hands down better than most, I will definitely be back for another round but for the brownies. The oatmeal chocolate walnut was just like something your mom would make, comfort cookie. The birthday cake was super moist and a perfect option if vegan. The salted caramel was perfect, little crisp with the caramel and still a nice soft cookie. The classic m&m was simple and good. They have classic cookies, deluxe and vegan/gluten free options so something for everyone.

Just got my first order from insomnia and it was... Not good. Took an hour to deliver and the cookies weren't warm like advertised and I asked the driver where my ice cream was at and he told me it must be in the cookie box with the cookies staring at his phone and walked away. Not good experience

great cookies not so great workers, baking time, and customer service. ordered TWO cookies at 10:50 and haven’t gotten them till 12:20 which is very unlikely and just unprofessional. could’ve honestly went to the store and got cookie dough and baked them by the time they even picked up my order. hope you guys do better in the future.

I've had these cookies before and they taste great. The delivery leaves a lot to be desired-I've been waiting over an hour for 6 cookies to be delivered, when I called them 30 minutes in they informed me that they had one delivery driver with 2 orders ahead of mine (despite the order tracking never updating to indicate that). At best it's a glitch with insomnias app, at worst it's an indication of poor staffing and unattainable metrics they are held to.

Chunk Cookies has quickly become a beloved destination for cookie enthusiasts in the valley, renowned for their oversized cookies that feature delightful chocolate chunks instead of traditional chips. Their classic chocolate chip cookie is a standout, boasting generous semi-sweet chocolate pieces that create an irresistible treat. Close on its heels is the Biscoff cookie, which combines white chocolate chips with rich cookie butter—a must-try for any sweet tooth.
Honestly, I couldn’t wait long enough to take a bite before snapping a photo! Walked in the door and instantly felt welcomed. The customer service was on point. I got to speak with one of the partners for a bit and the conversation made my whole experience better than I expected. Typically when you walk in somewhere to get cookies you don’t feel a sense of personal connection, you just grab your sweet treats and go. I highly recommend Chunk Cookies if you enjoy cookies + stellar customer service.

I tried their Oreo and Biscoff cookies. I really enjoyed the Biscoff because of the crunchiness on the outside and the softness in the inside. The smell and taste of Biscoff butter was also delicious. I personally don’t really like the Oreo. I think the texture was a bit dry. Nothing standout.

If we could give Cookie Brokers a 10 out of 10, we absolutely would—because they truly deserve it. We own two party planning companies and they are hands-down our go-to for all things cookies. Not only do we use them for both businesses, but we also refer private clients their way—even when those clients aren’t using us. That’s how confident we are in their quality, consistency, and service. They’ve done such an amazing job that we’ve now officially incorporated their sugar cookies into our bachelorette and birthday packages. And let’s be real—most decorated cookies are either cute or tasty… but Cookie Brokers nails both. Their cookies don’t just look beautiful—they actually taste incredible. We’ve even had moments where our own team submitted the wrong order or miscommunicated timing, and Cookie Brokers still found a way to come through for us. They’ve gone above and beyond, even with last-minute changes, and are always so kind and professional. They’ve delivered, adapted to every theme we’ve thrown at them, and most importantly—they’ve been unfailingly reliable. Their customer service is top-tier and the quality is unmatched. Whether you’re a private client or a fellow event planner, trust us: you want Cookie Brokers on your vendor list. We now use them for everything—including our personal events—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 10/10 across the board.

Ordered a cake for a coworker and this place came up as having a really good red velvet cake. I got there at 5pm yesterday going by the hours off line thinking they close at 6pm. (Summer hours if not mistaken are 10am to 5pm) I was pretty bummed that we weren’t going to get a cake, but then I walked into the LGQ shop and explained the situation to the young lady at the register. I believe her name is Rashelly (sorry if I am mistaken) she was super nice and asked someone at the cake shop if I could pick up the cake I had previously ordered. Kate came to the rescue and was able to get the cake for me. I was beyond pleased with the service and how absolutely AMAZING their red velvet cake is. I personally am not a red velvet fan but this OMG completely in love 😁 definitely recommend! Great customer service, which is what it should be every where. The ladies were super nice, friendly and extremely helpful! Will definitely return 🤗 THANK YOU!!! (Their little signature button is super cute BTW)

Pizzeria Bianco is a popular Italian restaurant known for its handcrafted wood-fired pizzas served in a rustic-chic setting. It has set the standard for wood-fired pizza joints in the area and has had a significant influence on both local and national pizza scenes. The restaurant's James Beard-award-winning chef, Chris Bianco, is praised for crafting what some consider to be the best pizza in the world, thanks to the wood-fired oven and fresh ingredients used.
1st of all, service was so good! The workers were so genuine and took such good care of us. There was no wait and we walked right in. We got our pizza maybe 10 mins after we ordered, which seemed surprisingly fast. It was delicious!! The Bianco Verde was our favorite, highly recommend. The Farmers Market salad was amazing as well. Everything we ate was such good quality. It’s worth the hype.

Well worth the hype. It was packed even on a Monday afternoon, when we found outside seating. Quick service from helpful staff. Pizzas are absolute bomb, especially The Wiseguy — hands down the best. Second comes either the pistachio with cheddar OR feta with greens on top. Great combination both of them. You can’t go wrong here!

My wife and I love Pizzeria Bianco it's a must every time we come to visit my parents. My wife always get the the pistachio parm pizza her favorite here. I always switch it up. Pizzeria Bianco takes its ingredients and its service seriously. Every pizza is handmade and the possible combinations are creative and delicious. You cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas they offer. These are large pizzas for one person so sharing might be a better way to go. 100% recommend!

The place was absolutely packed when we arrived, and honestly, I think it’s a bit overrated. The atmosphere was fine and the staff were polite, but it took quite a while for our pizza to come out. My boyfriend really enjoyed it and thought the food was great, but to me everything tasted pretty average. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. Overall, it was an okay experience — not terrible, just not as amazing as everyone seems to say.

I finally made it here. I remember seeing this on a Netflix show and I saved it years ago knowing that one day I will make it to phoenix. My driver is mentioned that this place was one of the best in town. I can say Pizzeria Bianco did not disappoint. The margarita pizza was fresh, tasty, and filling. You can taste the quality of the ingredients they use especially the fresh mozzarella.

Fresh, hot, and delicious pizzas! I got a margherita with wood mushrooms and he got a (Rosa) pistachio pizza. We went on a Monday afternoon after probably a lunch rush went through. Lots of staff but not as many people in there. I've been in here before when it was a busy Saturday and the place was slammed. Nice atmosphere, nice vibe. For us it's a once in a year kind of visit for a birthday celebration but this time it was the first time during a slower afternoon which was a nice quieter pace. Worth the visit and the paid concierge parking. Definitely will be back.
Zerofever P — Google review
Amazing experience at Pizzeria Bianco! The wait was about 45 minutes, but absolutely worth it. We had the Sonny Boy, Rosa, and Wise Guy (to go) — all brick-oven perfection. Fresh ingredients, stretchy cheese, and a crust that’s crunchy yet deliciously chewy. True Italian flavor with a magical touch. A must-visit for any foodie!

If you are looking for a quick bite, this is not the place for you. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our one pizza we ordered. It was well worth the wait though, some of the best pizza I have had in Phoenix. We got the margarita pizza, added sausage and onion. The vibes are cozy, I wish I would have gotten more photos. It is not a very big place so not a great place for a large group.

Don't expect Mexican fusion here, instead look for classic American fare. Cocktails are excellent and wine selection is broad. Waiter and servers are very attentive. Outside dining when the sun sets is pleasant. As for my meal, juicy pork chop but could have used more polenta vs squash. Sticky buns vs bread is a nice touch. Deviled eggs were good but not memorable. Wedge salad was excellent, very tangy homemade blue cheese dressing. Though pricey, portions are well sized.

Always the cutest spot for breakfast imo. The monkey bread wasn’t as magical as I once remembered but likely because I didn’t order a full pan so the only piece was one that comes in the basket. However the hash (last photo) and the green chile stew (1st photo) was also really good.

Wonderful surprise date night. Hubby made a reservation since our son raved over the trout and sticky buns. We have to admit, food was spectacular. Service was prompt and polite, very clean, impeccable location. Cloth covered tables, wine goblets for water and tea. Iced tea was even crisp and lightly fragrant. I was pleasantly surprised at all the little touches to make the guest feel special. The wax paper under the sticky bun made the presentation even more elevated.

The Stockyards Steakhouse is a historic Arizona establishment that has been serving up top-quality steaks and prime ribs since 1947. Located in Phoenix, this old-school steakhouse pays homage to the state's heritage with a menu focused on beef dishes. The restaurant prides itself on offering only the finest corn-fed, aged meats cooked to perfection and served with hearty sides. The Wild West-inspired ambiance adds to the dining experience, making guests feel like they've stepped back in time.
Back for Round Two! Two weeks in Phoenix and I couldn’t resist returning. This time we got the Chateaubriand for two. The salad was delicious. Ordered the Old Fashioned & Still Superb. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked to medium, but was a little rare in the middle. Still melt in your mouth superb steak. I tried it with each sauce and the creamed horseradish was the best. This didn’t need any sauce and was perfect. The Parmesan potatoes were good. The Sautéed Button Mushrooms were perfect. The Brussel sprouts were good. Service was good. Looking for a Steak House and the Stockyards Restaurant sounded perfect. Ordered the Old Fashioned with Stockyards Bourbon by Outlaw Whiskey. Perfect Compliment with the steak. The Cornbread was good and the bread just ok. Went with the Baseball Sirloin with salad & garlic whipped potatoes. The steak was lean and cooked medium perfectly. The whipped potatoes were fluffy and paired perfectly with the sirloin. Lean & tender was excellent. The salad was fresh and delicious. The Crem Brûlée was absolutely phenomenal end to the meal. The service was superb. Loved the old style steak house. Would definitely recommend and return.

Our first time to visit Phoenix and were told to try The Stockyards. We enjoyed an amazing meal. Ron was our server, and he has been at The Stockyards for 20 years. He absolutely knows the menu and helped us make some great selections. We tried the homemade onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. For our entree, we had the 5 oz filet with a baked potato. The second entree was the K-2 14oz filet with Parmesan potatoes and asparagus. The atmosphere was very inviting and traditional. Old school steakhouse for sure! Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal experience at The Stockyards!

Attended an event for our organization in the private dinning room. The service was great, very polite, and helpful. The restaurant is a traditional steak house so they will cook your steak medium temperature unless you ask otherwise. The steak was just ok. The steak was barely seasoned but I've had better. The sides were good and tasty. However, I probably would not make this a go to spot in my lists of steakhouses in the Valley.

Lovely place with great service and delicious food. Apparently, they have a tendency to overcook steak - my husband's was not rare as he requested. He was hungry, so ate it anyway, thought he did report it to our server. My elk was perfect, as was dessert.

The K4 Ranch steak was incredibly juicy, almost like tasting chicken soup, unbelievable! The vibe and servers are super chill, not fancy at all, which makes dining here so comfortable. The crab cakes were also delicious! Make sure to reserve a table, it gets busy on weekend nights!

Fantastic!!!!! Celebrated a birthday here and loved the old photos of Phoenix, the building-inside has comfortable chairs and booths. The decor is top-notch for a living history, museum type setting. Walk into the saloon, and be blown away by the murals on the wall. Our service was top-notch. Our waitress Alice, to all of the servers were friendly and attentive. We went early in the evening, which was the perfect time to go. It wasn’t busy then, but by the time we left, there wasn’t an empty table to be found. And that was a Friday night. Chilean Seabass, with a lobster tail was a hit!!! The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfect. The other meal we had, was a large ribeye that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Birthday dessert was a delicious sour cream cheesecake with berries/sauce. This was a delightful experience. From the top notch service to the outstanding history preserved through photos and pictures on the walls we were impressed, and we can’t wait to bring more of our family here to try this unique place.

My fiancée, Patty has been wanting to bring me here for a while. She grew up in Phoenix and has great memories from over 30 yrs ago. The dinner did not disappoint. Our waiter, Eric, made the meal even better with his attentive service. I had the 18 oz prime rib that was fabulous, as was the Parmesan potatoes. We will be back. My 89 yo mom loves prime rib.

La Grande Orange Grocery & Pizzeria, also known as LGO, is a trendy bakery and cafe with a grocery section. It's a popular spot in the contemporary Arcadia restaurant scene, offering a variety of breakfast items, gourmet pizzas, chili, sandwiches, salads, craft beer and wine. The place can get quite busy with long order lines but the chaos somehow adds to its charm.
I will return again. And again. The food here is perfect. The service was not bad at all considering this place was full the whole time we were here. Everything tasted like it was made with care. The Gladiator Pizza: get it. Of course I upgraded it with bacon. Also had the Caesar salad and wasn't disappointed with the size. If you're looking for an IPA, get the Harland Brewing Company Hazy IPA to start off your meal. Very good. There's a tiny grocery store and gift shop next to it and you can spend 30 minutes walking around. Looking everything. Nice gifts.

Such a cute location! I love that their coffee shop open at 6am and has an outdoor cafe for those out for morning walks, AND they’re open till 10pm so I could get a latte at night too if I want to. The pizza is delicious, the gift shop is adorable, and the gelato is delicious. My top recommendation is the horchata latte, hot or iced!

La Grande Orange — what can I say? One of my absolute favorite spots in Phoenix! 🌵✨ Everything here is fresh and absolutely to die for. The tuna melt? Perfection. The pancakes and desserts? Incredible. The salads? So fresh and flavorful. Even the iced tea and coffees are spot on. Whether it’s morning, noon, or night, this place never disappoints. A must-visit when you’re in Phoenix! 💛

ÑThis place offers a very warm and comforting atmosphere, perfect for spending a pleasant time. I’ve been here twice—both on cold, rainy days—so having such a cozy environment feels wonderful. The potato soup and tomato soup are delicious, and I really love the Margherita pizza. The service is very good. The only downside, which happened on both visits, is that the food is served cold. The soup, the pizza—everything came out cold. I’m not a fan of that because the wrong temperature can really change the whole tasting experience.

This is a cute little store. I stopped here a few times as it was in walking distance from my airbnb. There is a variety of merchandise, as well as several options for food such as pizza, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Everything here is very expensive, and I feel like the price of the food doesn’t match the portion sizes. I got a pizza that was on the smaller side and it was $20. It just tasted okay, nothing spectacular. The desserts are pretty good though, as is the freshly brewed coffee. There is some seating so you can chill out, and a dine in restaurant next door that I didn’t try. I would maybe come back here for coffee and a pastry, but everything else here is pretty overpriced.
Nicole H — Google review
Let me preface this by saying that I have eaten at this restaurant several times and absolutely love it—I am only posting this so the restaurant can fix the issue moving forward. I ordered a to-go order the other day, and unfortunately found a live bug in my sandwich (see photo) I think probably because the back door is right in the kitchen and a bug probably snuck in right before the lid was placed on. Either way, it would probably be good to quality check the meals before sending them out to customers—the bug was right near the top and I didn’t even have to move things around to see it.
Angie W — Google review
The pizzas came quickly, and the gelato was really good. Also the waiter was a chill guy 👍. I recommend a classic cheese pizza with lots of fresh Parmesan, and an advocato pizza (the lemon zest made it 5x better). And idk where they get/make their ranch but it was quality.
Adren M — Google review
One of my favorite places to eat in the valley. The pizza is great, the bakery is fantastic, and all the food is made with care and great ingredients. Lots of great food at the market. One of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. Parking is limited, so please keep that in mind if you come at peak lunch and dinner hours. Its next to Postino Arcadia with a just adds to the LGO reputation and buzz.

The Cheesecake Factory is a large chain restaurant that offers sizeable portions of food from a vast menu. The service is probably the best I've had in a long time, and the restaurant is beautiful. I'll definitely go back.
My first time coming to Cheesecake Factory. Great food and the staff was friendly. We got the Spicy rigatoni which was very tasty. We also got the fried cheese, mac and cheese balls and Crab rangoons as appetizers. I recommend all of them. Will definitely be coming back as they got us a decorated cake for my wife's bday.
Luis R — Google review
This place was recommended by a friend (we were visiting from another country). When we got there the queue was super long!! It was a Saturday night so maybe that is why. We sat and waited for a bit and decided to go and looked for another place to eat. After checking a few places we decided to go back to the Cheesecake Factory and waited. After maybe 15-20 minutes we finally got a table and the lady who served us was very helpful. There is so much stuff in the menu and so it took us a bit of time to get what we wanted to have. After she got our orders she served us our drinks and probably after 10-12 minutes our food started to be served. One of my friends remarked that he was a little disappointed with one of his orders but mine was all good. I had the classic burger and some fries, hubby and I also got choc cheesecake for dessert. I also had a taste of my friends chicken taquitos, I thought that was nice. It was overall a good experience except the waiting in the long line part.
B B — Google review
8 of us were there March 6. Cheesecake Factory food is always great but not the avocado tacos. The tortilla was about 4 inches across & they shoved more into it than it could hold. Plus the tortilla was not at all strong enough. To geo one out of the taco tray it was necessary to remove the avocado, pick up the taco & then put the avocado pieces back on. DIFFICULT. The lime wedge was too dried out to have any juice. The brownie sundae was long on presentation but would have been better with a warm brownie & not a stone cold one.

Great experience, as always!! Eddie was a GREAT server; engaging but not intrusive. Food was served at the right time. Very conversant if you needed more information. Miso Salmon and the Gumbo didn’t disappoint. Another happy experience here!

I went here for my first time last month and it blew my expectations out of the water. I seriously have never had such high quality food! We ordered the egg roll appetizer, shawarma, and chicken Madeira. The chicken Madeira was unbelievable. I still think about it! Finished with a key lime slice of cheesecake. Yes, the price is higher than your average restaurant but the quality of food and service is well worth the price! I would absolutely recommend you try this place at least once :)
Brandon W — Google review
I will not come here again. Took more than 30 minutes to bring our drinks. The food took a long time as well. The sauce on the pasta was so watery, not creamy at all. Everything was not good even the waitress took too long also. I will just be going to the one on Bell like we always do. The parmesan chicken barely had any chicken. Total disappointment.
Leticia F — Google review
It’s solid, but at some point, the price-value proposition doesn’t make sense anymore. Like most other restaurants they’ve raised prices. Unfortunately, like so many businesses, they’ve simultaneously cut expenses (aka spent less on the experience they provide). Our family of four averaged nearly $50/person for meal that included 2 cocktails, 2 sodas, 2 slices of cheesecake, a small plate, and 4 entrees (all sandwiches or appetizer menu options). Cocktails were solid (careful, they don’t list prices on the menu for some reason). The food was definitely good. But it wasn’t great. The portions were (gulp, never imagined I’d say this about Cheesecake Factory) average to small. The service was nothing like the Cheesecake Factory of old. Our server (nice enough and competent) was rushed and impatient (literally pulling our start plate away before we could answer and while my daughter was reaching for the last zucchini stick. The constant pre-bussing was noticeable, and we felt rushed throughout. In general most of the staff looked fairly unhappy to be there - flat expressions, low energy (very different than I’ve typically seen here). It was a downer, really. This chain used to be a goto for me (years ago), and while it hasn’t been as sharp, the food and friendly energy was worth not. Now it seems the pressures of the economy, labor shortage, or whatever has caught up. It makes me sad, but this really isn’t something that makes sense anymore for me.

Made a reservation for my year anniversary yesterday and was so disappointed, looked at the menu for weeks and was so excited to come and try a few things. The egg roll platter was disappointing, my food took forever to come and was not hot when it got to my table. I got the most recommended chicken plate and it was lacking in everything. Cajun pasta was better but also not good :( we both really wanted to just ask for something else that’s how much we didn’t like it. But Our server obviously had too much on his hands and wasn’t able to check in, didn’t listen to our special request when ordering. Tried to take our order a 2nd time after they did 10 minutes ago. The drinks were good that’s all. I am so sad and will likely not return :(

Texaz Grill is a charming steakhouse that serves delicious Southern cuisine and BBQ dishes in a quirky setting adorned with Texas memorabilia. Their house specialty, chicken fried steak, has become a popular favorite among patrons. This mouthwatering dish consists of a beef patty that is pounded, double-dipped, fried to perfection, and smothered in savory gravy.
This is my second time here. The first time was a couple of years ago, and I got the chicken fried steak, and my wife got brisket tacos. Both were great. I get chicken fried steak pretty much whenever I see it on a menu, and this had to be the best. This visit I was feeling in a lighter mood, so I got the turkey club that hit the spot, but it wasn't anything earthshattering. The catfish my wife got was very good. I will keep coming back. Service has always been great, and the ambiance provides plenty to take in.

The Texaz Dip was a Tuesday Lunch Special. It was fantastic. Tender prime on a roll with delicious au jus. The Chicken Fried Steak was huge and delicious with some of the best home made Mashed Potatos I have had at a restaurant. If that was not enough they surprised me with peach cobler a la mode. The cobbler was good. The ice cream was amazing. We returned for the Friday Fish and Chips. The Fish was Cod and it was very good. Just be aware that it is a Fish and Chips plate. They don't have an all you can eat option. The Chef Salad was ok, the Steak was good and the Hamburger was amazing

The service every time was exceptional and the food was tasty in big-sized portions. I have yet to leave there longing for more food. if anything I leave there with a full pallet a little bit light in the wallet but happy as can be. The mashed potatoes in white gravy was good those biscuits were fantastic hot and fresh made. You got it at a fair size piece of fish fish fillet with tartar sauce and you can ask for cocktail sauce I like the cocktail sauce a little heavy on the vinegar but still complimented the breading they use on a fish very well and that peach cobbler was very good but not the best peach cobbler I've ever had was that Bill Johnson's Big Apple said to say they're no longer around but cruise by text as for a drinking a meal and some pleasant conversation with other guests there's a bar there pretty much any drink you can think of and a nice bartender.
BOSS H — Google review
I wanted to love this place the food smelled good from the tiny parking lot. Atmosphere was nice . It looks like a bar out of a country movie and has great music . Our waitress was attentive and nice. The food lacked any flavor for my taste and the breading was way to much for me just made a mess . The meat 8nside was dry and my chicken fried steak was burnt. We waited over a hour for food. The grays had great flavor but it had already set by the time it got to use. It wasn't all bad tho the cat fish, biscuits, and fries were good but the fried shrimp was so dry my daughter didn't want it. I'm hoping it was just a off day for the cook. I wouldn't venture back.

I've been here before, but it was 14 years ago. Came back to check it out & I'm still as impressed as before. I already knew the chicken fried steak was perfect, so this time I got the Breakfast Burrito which is for Brunch that ends at 3:00. This burrito has two eggs, TexAZ fries, bacon, and cheese. Giant burrito. Saved some for tomorrow because I needed to get the Homemade Bread Pudding. Wow bro. This is just like I used to have in the actual state of Texas. Also I had a nice Coors banquet before the meal.

They were so accommodating. We had the filet, rib eye, prime rib. The Mac and cheese with green chiles was so good I wanted to order another. Ended the meal with the peach cobbler and pecan pie al a mode. Excellent time!

I’ve passed this establishment so many times over the years, I’m always looking for a new Steak, but on this occasion I was extremely disappointed. I ordered their Rib Eye, Mash and Corn. The mash was more Gravy than mash, and the steak was the greasiest piece of meat I have ever come across. The combination of grease and gravy just was not doing it for me. The steak was 40 dollars and should have been 12-15. I was expecting a much nicer experience seeing the area it’s in. My bill after a burger and steak and 1 ice tea was $67. Totally overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Quiessence is a high end, romantic restaurant located on a beautiful 10 acre farm in the South Mountain Village of Phoenix. The market-driven American cuisine served at this establishment features locally sourced produce and meats. The Farm at South Mountain provides much of the ingredients used in Quiessence's dishes, creating an authentic farming experience right at the restaurant.
Quintessence offers a delightful farm-to-table dining experience with French-inspired elements. The restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance for casual dining, with truly fantastic menu options. Everything on the set menu is healthy and fresh. The restaurant is very spacious with various seating options inside and outside, with a cute and trendy Arizona vibe, we can enjoy the view to go with our meal. We ordered a “four courses” set which is very scrumptious, every ingredient is so fresh, luscious, and lush. We can tell the chief is trying to present every dish in another level of astronomy skill and transforming the food scene into artistic genres. The kitchen tour is wondering.

We visited this restaurant during our visit to Phoenix and had the best time. We sat outside and had the four course dinner. The ambiance was so peaceful and we felt like we had so much privacy. The service was incredible and the food was all delicious. I am a pescatarian and they were able to customize my meal and keep me informed about the ingredients of each dish. The servers even gave us a tour of the kitchen and we were able to meet the chefs and see all the food stations. This was a very elevated dining experience and we left very full and satisfied. The drinks were delicious and strong! Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert but really wish that we could have tried it. I strongly recommend eating at this restaurant while in Phoenix!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, and they even took us on a tour of the kitchen, which was such a nice touch! It’s definitely a great spot for celebrating a special occasion. The experience is unique and memorable, though it does come with a high price tag. While I’m not sure I’d go back regularly for that cost, it’s absolutely worth visiting at least once for the experience.

My boyfriend & I were visiting and we had the pleasure of doing the Chefs table experience. We sat in the kitchen with chef Dustin Christofolo and had the chef tasting menu which varies weekly. Everything was farm to table and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. You may not know what you’re getting but you’re guaranteed a 5-star experience with over 80% of the food grown from their farm and the rest sourced locally. Incredible experience from the Quiessence team!

This is my second time reviewing this incredible hidden gem, and it deserves every bit of praise. The food was absolutely spectacular, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Chef Dustin, you are a true culinary genius. Every element on the plate was purposeful and flawlessly executed, elevating each dish to an art form. Also every time I go I just keep think about those amazing apple cannoli's. Highly recommend that dessert. If you’re looking for a spot to really enjoy your meal and spend some quality time with good company, this is the place. It’s such a nice change from the fast paced vibe of most restaurants these days, here you can relax, savor your food, and enjoy meaningful conversations with your loved ones. Big thanks to our awesome server, Zach, who kept us laughing and made everything run smoothly. Shoutout to Lindsey and Jess for the beautiful presentation of each dish. And a huge thank you to the entire team for making the night so special and memorable. This place is truly one of a kind. :)

Absolutely impeccable. We took my mom here to celebrate her birthday. We did the 5 course which I absolutely recommend doing if you go. We also doubled the first course by going with both the Chefs Spread and the oysters. Hands down the best oysters I've ever had the pleasure of dining on. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had a private dining room and they were more than happy to accommodate a floral arrangement I had sent over for the occasion. I almost hesitate posting how truly incredible this place is, as I wish to keep it my secret gem in the desert - But I could not live with myself if I didn't express how deeply divine the entire meal, atmosphere and experience was. Lux Central is a vibrant and rustic cafe and bakery that offers an ever-changing menu of farm-to-table dishes, along with an extensive selection of espresso drinks, craft beers, casual wines, and handcrafted cocktails. The sophisticated ambiance and bold decor create a lively atmosphere for guests to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening. This place truly feels like a hidden gem! The vibe was so unique and cool, and I really loved that you could actually watch the baking process—it was surprisingly satisfying to see. The food itself was fantastic; everything we tried tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the coffee was honestly better than expected, smooth and rich. The bakery item I had was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience felt special. The only drawback was that there were a few flies around, which wasn’t very pleasant, and since you have to grab your order from the table, it felt a little unhygienic—someone could easily touch or even pick up your plate by mistake. Other than that, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the overall experience. I wish I could give more stars.

One of if not the best espresso martini in town. WOW! So good. Lux also does fantastic Mac & cheese. Great pastry selection as well. The interior space is nicely divided - more of a quieter study space on the coffee bar side, and a little more lively with lounge/couch seating on the bar side

Mexican restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Cave Creek, El Encanto Dos is a delightful Mexican cantina that beautifully blends homey flavors with gourmet touches. This hacienda-style restaurant boasts a spacious courtyard adorned with lush greenery and features a serene pond filled with ducks and turtles. Whether you're looking to unwind with refreshing margaritas paired with crispy chips and guacamole or indulge in hearty dishes like pollo fundido, enchiladas vegetarianas, or carne asada tacos, this spot has something for everyone.
The night was a bit cool for sitting outside, but with our pup in the car, we decided to brave it. Turns out they have patio heaters for your cozy comfort. There were 5 plus our pup. The service was outstanding and a reason in itself to visit. The food is amazing, with a great presentation, large portions, and absolutely wonderfully flavorful. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a large party or an intimate date.

I have tried the original el Encanto about a year ago and really liked it. I decided to give the second location a try as well while the restaurant was similar. There were some pretty clear differences. The ambience was lacking. The majority of the restaurant seating had views of the main road and the seating was very close together and didn't feel as cozy. The service was good. The food was also on point. I would still go back to the restaurant, however ask for inside seat. If given the choice between the two locations, I would go back to the main one before I would go to this one, however.

El Encanto overall was a good experience. Its started out rough at first. They have a slight fly infestation in one of their bar areas, so bad we had to move tables. They bring out a salsa trio they bring to the table, mild green and avocado, medium red and hot red. All of them were very good. We ordered a small pitcher of margaritas, you get about 3 out of it. Kind of pricey at 28.00 for it. I ordered a shredded beef and bean burrito with cheese on top. They didn't put much cheese on it. Disappointed by that. Our server/bartender was great! Loved the music they played. The patio looks like it would be great when the weather gets cooler out. We'll come back then.

Beautiful setting for outdoor dining. Service was excellent, our server was very attentive filled drinks quickly, it is nice to have a staff that really love there profession. I had the vegetable enchilada with rice and beans, my husband had the vegetable fajitas. I should have asked the sauce on the side, it was a little too much for me. My husband loves his meal.

Great ambience. Eat outside. Great service by Chandler. Two of us had polo fundito. Just not something we liked but food cooked fine and presented fine. We will go back and order something else. Reasonable prices.

Our server was wonderful, very attentive and prompt. The food was scratch made and completely customizable. I could not find good mole sauce anywhere...until now. Finally someone who makes it correctly. Excellent restaurant and we will be back.

This was our 2nd time visiting. The first was a bit better but this visit was not as nice. The food is good but some dishes are just not as tasty. Don't expect anything spicy, this place appears to be scared of spice as the clientele is mainly older causation so nothing is spicy, (even the HOT salsa) is mild. The service was okay but not attentive at all. Last time we sat on the patio which was a nice atmosphere, the dining room is nice but it's just another dining room. The chicken enchiladas, rice and beans are all tasty, wasn't a fan of the beef.

Crackers and Co. Cafe is a long-standing establishment that offers a wide range of dining options, including all-day breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Situated in an industrial park, the cafe has an ultra-feminine ambiance and serves homemade soups, creative sandwiches, entree salads, hearty breakfasts, and delectable desserts. Customers have praised the friendly staff and recommended dishes such as scrambles with sausage gravy and the bacon avocado egg melt for breakfast.
Great breakfast place. Hot food, hot coffee and nice place. Great service. We ordered the lemon blue berry pancakes and a meat lovers omelette. Both were great.

Ordered the French Toast, which is cinnamon French toast. It looks great, but it's average, and not a do-over the me. It's actually pre-packaged egg bread with some cinnamon swirls baked in. It's dipped in some eggs but not much. Dry except the syrup I put on it. The service ends to end was a 5, that is why I rated 4 stars. The fake French toast pre-packaged is a 3. Though the serving is extra large. Coffee was good, and again the service. I will return and try something different. This food was disappointing, looks better than it is.

We came here for the gluten free options discussed in the reviews. There is ONE gluten free option - oatmeal. We stood and stood waiting to be seated. The food is bland and oily. They advertise Bloody Marys on their chalkboard but reported to us they have no alcohol to make it! Maybe erase the chalk? Flying insects were present while we dined indoors. They played the radio with hard rock music and a lot of commercials while we ate our breakfast. The waitress asked how our food was from behind me and somehow expected me to know she was addressing me. I understand why they are closing and wouldn't recommend anyone eat here....we won't be trying this chain again.

This charming spot offers a delightful selection of classic American dishes, with a twist of Mexican-inspired breakfast options that truly elevate the menu. While the service is good, be prepared for a bit of a wait on busy days. The dining area is well-maintained, with clean tables, though some may find the plastic table covers a bit off-putting—though, in the grand scheme of things, it's a minor detail. Overall, it's a great breakfast spot worth visiting.

We were in the area & decided to try this place. Walk in & were greeted by the smell of maple syrup. The host was very rude & unfriendly. Our waitress was ok, needs to learn coffee cups should never be empty. Food was good and there was a lot.

First time at this restaurant, ordered the grilled bacon and egg sandwich. The sandwich was so good, loved the spicy mayo. My husband had the reuben and loaded potato soup, he said it was the best potato soup he has ever had. The service was quick and inviting.

This is our second time at this location. Although we didn’t catch them on a fresh cinnamon roll day we enjoyed our experience , our server was great and attentive. I had biscuits and gravy meal, my sister had the Denver omelette with green and red peppers. I had the rooster sunrise with pineapple juice instead of the orange juice and my sister got the Mimosa flight with berry , 2 original and strawberry mimosas .

You might want to avoid the steak sandwich. They hadn't cleaned their grill and the black on the steak tasted like stank, not steak. Also, very gristley piece. I usually eat gristle but couldn't do it with this. Everything else my family ordered was very delicious. The benedicts and the lemon pancakes were so good. Great service and quick.

Pita Jungle is a Mediterranean cafe chain with a focus on health-oriented dishes, offering an array of vegetarian and vegan options. With locations across the Phoenix metro area, this sleek eatery provides a vibrant atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals. One of the menu highlights is the Lentil Fatoosh Salad, featuring simmered lentils, pita chips, caramelized onions, and fluffy brown rice on a romaine salad base.
We love this place. When you're in town for the holidays, you have to make time to visit your favorite spot since there's not one where you live. The del sol and hummus were on point as usual. Even my parents enjoyed the lavosh pizzal. We will make sure to always visit and enjoy this food. Try the arnold palmer with tea and lemonade....you won't be disappointed.
Bryan R — Google review
Great tasting food. It's even good for you, but it's fabulously delicious too! The regular hummus is really good. I love the turmeric rice. The baklawa is divine with or without the chocolate. And the carrot cake is great too. Price wise it's $15-$25 (after tip) per plate, pretty average price for sit down places now. The kids menu is clever and the meals (both adult and child) are very customizable. It's a bit noisy, so actually a decent place to take a family even with small kids.
Pearl M — Google review
The food here is good, but not great. It may be what I ordered, but I just didn’t feel like it was a truly Mediterranean dish. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken Shawarma pita and the chicken tasted like it was just sprinkled with some seasoning, so not impressive at all. The falafel’s were very small and not as good as I’ve had at other places. I will probably try somewhere else next time.

Ok, so this is 1 year old, but it still stands. Because we've been back twice. The food is so delicious and well seasoned that everything we've had has been a hit.the restaurant itself is unique, open windows all around, and don't forget to look up....so cool. Pictured Guava lemonade sweet and tart take one with. Food fire veggie lavish wrap with potato's and curry chicken salad.

Never have I ordered hummus and chicken from Pita jungle and had it come like this. My pitas weren’t warmed, and the chicken and hummus came in two separate containers rather than having diced chicken on top of the hummus as it always is. The chicken isn’t even marinated the way it should be. Lazy and disappointing for $15. Guess I’ll have to start going to the park west location instead because they actually know how to prepare this meal.

Pita is a great place. Healthy food that isn't flavorless! And so many options. I usually get the grilled chix breast and cilantro jalapeno hummus and have a bit of sirracha with it. The pizzas are also very good. The honey glazed chix one, in particular.

Slickables is delicious!! I got the ice sandwich it’s two cookies of your choice with ice scoop . Staff was friendly and pleasant. I recommend you stop by and bring your family. The prices are reasonable.

Good ice cream joint at a good price. Disappointed that my cookies were rock hard which isn't conducive to an ice cream sandwich. My husband's brownie was also not warmed for his sundae. I'm not sure if this is normal for this location but was disappointing for the experience. Otherwise the ice cream was good and the experience/atmosphere was nice.
Nicole V — Google review
If you're looking for delicious ice cream with a fun twist, Slickables is worth a visit! Their ice cream flavors are fantastic—I tried the vanilla on double chocolate, and it was a perfect pairing. My only wish? That they warmed the cookies used for their ice cream sandwiches. A softer, warm cookie would elevate the experience even more! I also had the salted caramel ice cream on a chocolate chip cookie. After pressing the cookie into the ice cream to soften it up, it was perfection! I’d definitely give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it for a sweet treat. The inside may look a bit small and janky, but don’t let that fool you—the service and quality are top-notch, making it worth the visit
Amanda — Google review
People eating or getting ready to eat iced cream are generally in a pretty good mood, and an iced cream shop usually reflects this. When it is the polar opposite experience, it makes me feel like I need to leave a review. I understand it's being renovated, and it really feels like it…but I didn’t hold that against them. I was in a pretty good mood when I walked in, excited for some iced cream. I greeted the staff with a friendly “how are you tonight?”. I didn’t get so much as a grunt to acknowledge my presence, which didn't necessarily bother me, but it did seem to suck any positive energy I brought in right out of the room. It was 9pm on Sunday night, but they were open 3 more hours. A shop specializing in iced cream sandwiches, I assumed, may have a different process than “give me a scoop of vanilla”. I have bad vision so I couldn’t see the menu/sign all that well, and just felt like having someone tell me how it all works. This time I may have heard a slight grunt (not 100% sure) following my question, after which I translated the subsequent uncomfortable silence to mean: “look at the menu/sign & figure it out yourself”. I know quality customer service is rare these days in general, but with at least 2 other shops within walking distance, you have to do better to stick around on Mill. The group I was with recommended every other place; no one mentioned Slickables. I chose it because it sounded unique, but mostly because it was the only one without a line. I got 2 sandwiches to go, but if I were with that person I was buying for, I'd still have taken it home vs. eating there. A couple of energetic, engaged employees capable of at least pretending to want to be there & serve customers would have made it a completely different experience. It would have taken just 5 minutes, and then they could get back to TikTok. A 2nd star because the dessert was still pretty good, but everything else could be a lot better.

Great ice cream, fair price, I love coming here to make my own ice cream sandwich Tons of good options, you pick 2 cookies and an ice cream scoop for just 4.50 There's not enough seating but that's not a problem because the weather is beautiful and there's places near by to walk And sit. It's right next to my favorite tea place ever and super convenient if your walking or shopping in the area. They are hiring !! It looks like they could use some extra hands in there , the employees seem exhausted

Absolutely top notch. Got the entire 6 people icecream and cookies and brownies plus a tip for $15. Unheard of! Cookies are good too, not hard and burnt. Prices are also linear so you can combine anything however you want and its not more expensive. Love it!
Ryan B — Google review
The only reason I give this place a 5 star review is because on Google you can't leave a 10 star review, which is what this cool little shop deserves. A customer focused treat shop with seriously delicious cookies and ice cream at a low price on Mill Ave. A great place to bring the whole family and the staff was super great too!

I had ice cream sandwiches delivered to work once & LOVED them, so it was a given that I went on a date with my husband later that week. We tried the birthday cake flavor and absolutely loved it. Duck and Decanter, a long-standing establishment in Phoenix since 1972, prides itself on offering a unique sandwich and beverage experience. Whether you opt to create your own "nooner" or choose from their menu of signature sandwiches, such as the beloved Duckling featuring smoked duck breast and turkey paired with cranberry-walnut relish, you're in for a treat.
What do you do when you’re heartbroken, sweaty from a post-gym meltdown, and suddenly starving for something other than emotional closure? You go to The Duck & Decanter, obviously. This local gem in Phoenix has become my faithful go-to for midday soul-soothing, and not just because the name makes me feel oddly fancy for someone who cried in the Eos parking lot. I ordered The Duckling (because we love a sandwich that matches our emotional state) and an iced tea, then claimed a spot on the patio like I was the main character in an indie film titled “Healing, But Make It Tasty.” The sandwich? Glorious. The tea? Restorative. The patio? A little slice of Phoenix peace before the sun decides we’ve had too much fun and cranks things up to lava. Honestly, this place hits all the marks: cozy, iconic, unfussy, and full of the kind of comfort food that reminds you you’re gonna be okay, even if Beau, the gorgeous auburn haired Swiss boy, broke up with you after saying “I love you!” 10/10. Will absolutely be back, heartbreak optional, appetite mandatory.

Dashing in Sunday at noon to get a sandwich and this place is packed from inside to out the live music is great, The line isn't too long but that's after you order they will get right to it. The menu is varied and you will definitely want to try some of the decanter favorites. The Staff is very peaceful and cheery to help if you need it. Keep in mind it will be a bit of a wait even with barely anyone in there but the shop is great the prices are a bit expensive (compared to Jersey Mike's offering a whole giant for similar pricing) for some of the sandwiches its great in value though and the variety is plenty to choose from would come back for a group eatout

First time here from a recommendation by my dentist. I was excited from looking at the reviews, photos, and menu. It was so disappointing once I came to have lunch today. I had the (full) duckling sandwich $12.99, 8oz coleslaw $2.89, fountain drink 24oz $2.99, and Kettle Chips 2oz bag $2.39… with two free pickles. The sandwich was good quality, but skimpy on the portion of meat - see photos. The coleslaw was dry; and not creamy at all. The chips and pickles were enjoyable. Everything served ‘To Go’ in a bag. You find your seating. There seems to be enough inside, and far more outside — nice to see the weather improving for outdoor dining. Mind people who are in the way unsure of where to stand while waiting for their order. Bathrooms are in a separate facility accessed out the back… turn right, turn right, and turn left. They’re clean. Keep the lights on so the fan/AC continue to run. Parking is a challenge. A lot of spaces marked Reserved for Copenhagen and DXL… so many that it’s ridiculous. I parked a good distance in the Target 🎯 parking lot. There’s a lot more to D&D — novelties, cheeses, sausages, breads & crackers, wines, etc. There’s a separate room for sampling(?) and drinks. I don’t know if I’ll return. Try them and see for yourself. I was disappointed in the serving portion of the duckling, and the coleslaw could be creamier.
Chris A — Google review
This was a pretty pathetic turkey sandwich for $11. They don't make their own bread and the leaf lettuce was black and inedible. One small slice of cheese and then the rice kripy treats don't have prices, but it was $8. Pickles free, but not good.
Brad H — Google review
Ordered the Hot One supposed to come with cheese, but didn't. Brisket tasted like barely seasoned boiled meat. Horseradish was on the sweet side. Expensive tiny sandwich, not worth it.
Kim S — Google review
Been here a couple times and I am always pleased with whatever I select. Ingredients seem really good, they certainly taste great. Most sandwiches are unique but they have a couple classics. The actual building is an interesting experience in itself. Do yourself a favor and stop in here sometime.

So I've lived within a 5 mile radius of this place for the past 20 years and just visited it for the first time 🤯. For most of that time I thought it was some kind of fancy duck dinner place. I was way off and thanks to Google maps I learned the truth! The building kind of resembles and old time cottage. When you get inside it's dated ,takes me back to middle school or a store front from the 80's or 90's.Now I like sandwiches, I like to think I make a great sandwich at home with my boar's head meats. Apparently I was wrong because the sandwiches they make here are insanely delicious 😋. We tried a salami sandwich, a ham and egg burrito and a turkey sandwich. Now I like ham but never in my life have I ever tried or tasted ham like this. Sweet and packed with flavor,it was amazing. On to the salami,it was the daily special so I wasn't expecting much. I'm not even a real huge fan of salami lol. Took the first bite and instantly a fan, thinly sliced and great flavor. Another winner was the turkey, honestly I will eat any of these sandwiches over and over. Each sandwich comes with 2 pickles...need more pickles they're only 25¢ for an additional pickle. They also have a store front, a coffee bar and a wine and beer section. Really cool place, service is great and plenty of options. Can't wait to try all the other options .

Mary Coyle Ol' Fashion Ice Cream is a long-standing ice cream parlor in Phoenix that has been delighting customers since the 1950s. The retro decor and old-fashioned charm of the shop create an inviting atmosphere for indulging in their homemade ice cream, which includes unique flavors like black licorice and salted caramel cashew alongside classic favorites such as cookie dough and chocolate chip.
This place is just a solid homemade ice shop. When you think of supporting local business that is family owned and operated since 1951 - this place should be on the list. It’s never too cold or too hot to enjoy have some tasty treats 👊🏼

My daughter had the Café Olé and I had the Jolly Green Giant. Both were simple but used good quality ingredients. The hot fudge on the coffee ice-cream was particularly pleasing. They seemed short handed when we first walked in but the young man scooping was quick and served a dozen or more customers cheerfully without getting overwhelmed.

Came here to kick off the girl scout season with a handful of 8 year olds. The parking here alone is terrible. One of the two reserved parking lots is next to a planter so if you don't have a small vehicle, it's pointless. The gal working did not appear to like her job. She was very short with the kids and after serving them ice cream was lecturing the moms about the kids being too loud. We understood the establishment was not a playground, but serving kids sugar and expecting them to sit calmly.. wasn't possible. Ice cream was good but other than knowing how old this business is, there was nothing extra special about it. We love ice cream and glad we got to visit. But I have no interest in returning. Maybe moving this to a better location would change my mind. The gal running the place needs to go. Worst customer service and hate to have her be the face of the store. I always try to be considerate of my negative reviews. This place wasn't terrible, it just wasn't anything special.

Great ice cream. You can definitely taste the quality. Customer service is also great. The menu does require a lot of reading, there are many options and for the first timer, it does take a bit of reading to figure out what you want. I guess it would be nice to see a couple of pictures up there to help guide the customer. The staff does do a great job of explaining the options, though. As part of an older strip mall, I was surprised to see how clean this place was kept. All in all, did love this place and will definitely be back for more.

When I walked in, I was greeted with a wonderful scent of ice cream that brought me back to my younger days. When I looked at the menu, I saw that I would be able to get ice cream for under $3, which I was really happy about. However, I honestly feel that I got what I paid for As ice cream was quite bland and overly hard. It felt like I was basically eating a cold, milky flavored meatball that happened to have a few cherries in it. The service was really good and the worker was very helpful and accommodating despite the fact that she was working on a paper, so that is the main thing boosting my score. I came back to get a vanilla. It was decent. Obviously a little more expensive, but around $3.50 which is still pretty cheap. It was more busy considering it was about 3:30 P.M. on a Sunday

Chestnut Fine Foods & Provisions is a market and contemporary cafe known for its local, seasonal breakfast and lunch offerings. The establishment is famous for its delectable chocolate chip cookies, which are packed with mini chocolate chips and have a secret technique that makes them stand out. The cafe's Arcadia location has closed but will soon reopen in the Biltmore Center Business Park, offering a great food menu and coffee options.
Spotted this little gem on a walk and decided to stop for an espresso shot. I ended up grabbing a traditional breakfast, and it was fair. The service was great, and there ☕️ was a hit. I wasn't really a fan of the sausage patties, but the pancakes were awesome. The atmosphere was really cozy and cute, tho. I will come back and try something different in the future.

Chestnut was once a place I held in high regard — even choosing it over other venues for business meetings. That goodwill evaporated last Sunday over something as simple as pancakes. My request could not have been more straightforward: no powdered sugar, toppings on the side. What arrived? Pancakes dusted in sugar. Fine, mistakes happen. But what followed was telling. Instead of promptly correcting their error, the remake was inexplicably delayed while a party of seven or eight, who ordered well after us, were served their full breakfasts first. Pancakes are not a soufflé; batter is ready, two minutes on the griddle, and they’re done.  When I finally got up to request a refund I saw ours pancakes had sat neglected in the window, the expediter appeared with a plate in hand, offering not service but snide defensiveness: “Oh, you don’t want your pancakes?” followed by the absurd insistence that we had been a priority - even as I watched her deliver half a dozen plates before considering ours. Hospitality is not complicated: own your mistakes, correct them quickly, and respect every guest equally. Chestnut managed to fail on all three counts. What should have been a simple, pleasant stop became an example in indifference and misplaced pride. We won’t be back - nor my business meetings. Plenty better options in the area.

this restaurant has to have the best food in Phoenix seriously. The breakfasts are gourmet tasty healthy. Even the coffee drinks are made to perfection. I can’t comprehend why anyone would settle for places like over easy or poached when they can get the best of the best here. I come to my office every Monday. This is an absolute must treat. Incredible food very nice people. They should be rated a 5.5.stars.

This is a cute brunch/lunch spot in the Biltmore area! It’s a walk up, order, and find a spot to sit at establishment with a variety of coffee, tea, sweet, and savory selects. Service was casual, decent. I did enjoy they had board games play. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and The OG. The menu doesn’t establish their prices for that menu item, only the range of the category. I didn’t care for this approach but it was different - it’s like price roulette. The Corned Beef Hash had a great portion for $15.50 and was very filling! Had the beef, 2 eggs, potatoes, onions, and peppers! The OG was okay - biscuit was kinda dry and needed a bit more syrup for the sweet/savory combo. Also ordered a vanilla latte and dirty chai latte which were good. Not too sweet and wasn’t weak in espresso. All in, the 4 items cost $45 so it’s on par with the cost in the area. Overall, it was a decent place and if I’m in the neighborhood, I’d try them out again and order something different.

Chestnut moved down the street to this location in “The Vintage”. Good stuff: Nice and open floor plan with plenty of parking front and back. I had a turkey club sandwich on thick cut fresh sourdough. It was loaded with deli cut roasted turkey, avocado, tomatoes, and a piece of maple bacon. It comes with a side of jalapeño marinated cucumbers and sweet potato chips. The staff was very nice. The “however” part: same reason I only went to The Chestnut once in its prior location: limited menu, order at the counter, soft drinks are bottled, (there is also a coffee bar), and there’s a weird mix of merchandise—including clothing—taking up half the floor. It’s like lunching in a 7-11 but with much better food. Brunch items have quite a bit of variety. Lunch is mostly sandwiches. There is limited table seating though it’s a large open floor. There is counter seating along the south window. The sandwich lacks a dressing for the bread. I asked for mayo and it was quickly brought out.

Simply, fantastic sandwiches on fresh, perfectly toasted bread! We absolutely loved the Turkey Pesto and Tuna Salad Melts! The ingredients were fresh and the bread had the perfect balance of buttery flavor and crunch without messing up the roof of your mouth! The cold brew was strong and their black iced tea had a hint of mango or some tropical essence that really brightened the flavor. The perfect summer lunch! We will definitely be returning to try all their sandwiches and other thoughtfully crafted offerings!

Wildflower is a popular local chain that offers premium sandwiches, salads, and baked goods in a self-service environment. They excel at accurately fulfilling takeout and curbside orders with their attentive staff who are always friendly. The variety of menu options can sometimes make it difficult to choose, resulting in the occasional over-ordering. However, even after three days, the tuna salad sandwich remained fresh with crisp tomatoes and high-quality bread enriched by their exceptional butter.
We came here after church, and we felt like trying something different. My daughter made a great choice. We all got sandwiches, and they tasted fresh and delicious. The chips are freshly made. I also got a hot chocolate with a cranberry sconce. I was not a big fan of the hot chocolate it tasted watered down to me, but the sconce was very tasty. It was pretty packed, so I do recommend you look at the menu beforehand to make sure you know what you want. We didn't know what we wanted, so we messed up their line flow a bit. They have a variety of food, drinks, and dessert options. It's kind of like a Paneras, honestly. They also sell bread, which is pretty cool. I would definitely come back again. The prices are decent and the staff is very nice.

Your team and your food is always a 15/10. I’ve been there many times and every time I’m blown away. The staff is even more impressive than the food and the food is always perfect. I need to do better with pictures when there but this one is fantastic. A small addition to how awesome this spot is. Keep up the amazing work. You’re one of the best places in the valley and when compared to other Wildflowers I’ve been too by far the best in Arizona.

I’m very critical of places I eat, but I tell you this place is amazing The girls were knowledgeable and very friendly and you know we like to eat and friendly places because you always think they’re gonna do something to your food so man this place was a 1010 we destroyed our food. It was so good.

This was our first time eating at Wildflower. I had an extremely helpful lady at the register. Spicy food does not agree with me. She explained several options to me and my salad was wonderful. Husband and son food was good aswell. Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place.

I was very surprised how clean and friendly this place is. Service was very good and food was very flavorful. I had the orange juice and Roasted Veggie sandwich. Also the pancakes were very fluffy and tasty. Place was packed and my pancakes took a little bit longer and they gave me a gift card as an apology. What a nice surprise!. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I visited the Wildflower Bread Co on 75th and Bell rd on Friday 8/15 the resturant was well kept and very clean. Evan placed our orders and recommended some very delicious menu items giving an excellent descriptions of ingredients. I noticed all of the staff members were all very helpful and friendly to all of the customers making us feel comfortable.

I really enjoy breakfast from Wildflower. My biggest issue is their operating hours. How can anyone have breakfast here on a weekday? When they don't even open until 8:00. Then breakfast is only served until 10:30. The majority of people start work at 8:00. Most restaurants with a breakfast option open around 6:00-7:00am. I feel the company would generate more business if they allowed more opportunities for breakfast purchases on weekdays.

Nothing bad to say about this location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐; been eating here for years. The location is easy to see from the road, if traveling on, 75th Ave, towards Bell (SB). There are many entrances into a large parking lot, shared w/ other shops, either entering from, 75th Ave, or the, Arrowhead Mall loop, across from, Macy's. There are 2-3 handicap parking spots & the parking lot is smooth & in good condition. Inside contains ample seating, w/ full booths & tables which seat 4, then half booths which seat 2. Staff is very friendly & attentive; food is yummy & worth the price, & there are many drinks options, such as - water, teas, Coke products, lemonades, & juices. The restaurant is in good shape, clean floors, tables, & soft squishy padding, in the booth seats.

Ice cream shop
Dessert shop
Novel Ice Cream is a popular spot in Phoenix, AZ that offers gourmet ice cream in unique flavors and as donut or waffle ice cream sandwiches. The shop has a strong local following and serves up small-batch ice cream with creative flavors like butter basted Pop-Tart frosted strawberry. It's located in a group of shops on a busy street, offering friendly outdoor vibes.
This spot wasn’t named number one nationally for no reason! What a treat to have Novel Ice Cream in Phoenix. We visited tonight around 7:30 pm. Novel is nestled besides a charming courtyard with tables to eat at after you’re done ordering. There are a few other shops around as well including a tattoo/piercing shop, coffee shop and wedding planner. Novel offers a menu full of your standard flavors (think Madagascar vanilla and strawberry) and several rotating flavors (matcha and Thai tea were offered today). My partner and I both opted for a Dough Melt — a glazed donut sandwiches your choice of ice cream. He ordered bourbon toffee and I ordered Thai tea. My daughter ordered strawberry in a cone. Service was quick. The ice creams were creamy and tasted so good! Bourbon toffee was EXCELLENT in a dough melt — the flavors went so well together and it ended up tasting similar to a maple bar. Thai Tea unfortunately wasn’t the best choice for a dough melt but alone is excellent (the donut highlighted the bitterness in the ice cream). The strawberry was very good as well. Prices were fair. We will definitely be back on our own accord but this spot is also being added to the list to take friends and family from out of town.

The greatest thing I have eaten all year was ice cream from this place, get in the car! Go! Had the toffee bourbon flavor of the employee rec. in a donut, free topping comes with, about $9 with tip. The audio of me eating that would get FCC fined so much, it was a good size dessert as well. Super fast and easy service, felt like a classic ice cream window and they probably beat out all the dairy farms I grew up next to with the flavor, maybe even all the pastry chefs I worked with/for. Great patio space. Congrats across the board Novel

Novel Ice Cream & Roosevelt Row Vibes – A Perfect Weekend Spot We absolutely love this area! On weekends, The Wayward and Snapback Pizza were my go-tos, but discovering Novel Ice Cream was the cherry on top. This cozy little spot is tucked into a strip full of charm—art galleries, plant shops, unique local restaurants, and even a quirky print shop. There’s something cool around every corner. Novel Ice Cream serves up creative, delicious flavors—and I highly recommend trying the Fat Elvis. It’s rich, fun, and totally lives up to the name. The whole strip has a quiet, chill vibe that's perfect for a weekend stroll. Bonus points: if you linger long enough, you might spot a few friendly neighborhood cats. And if you're really observant, you just might find Where's Waldo hiding somewhere nearby—let me know if you do! Definitely worth a visit if you're into good eats, great ice cream, and local character.

Okay so this might be the best ice cream place in Phoenix! It was so flavorful and had great consistency. The dough melt was just WOW. So soft and warm, truly melted in our mouths. The service was friendly and quick — even with the line being long, it went by fast. Will definitely be coming back!
Iliana E — Google review
This year, Novel Ice Cream earned the top spot as the nation's number one ice cream shop, and deservedly so. They were also the top ice cream shop in the United States in 2019, so I am not surprised to see them ranked No. 1 once more. My discovery of Novel Ice Cream was in either late 2017 or early 2018. When I saw the overwhelmingly positive reviews it received on Yelp, I gave it a try. When I arrived there, it was still a good thirty minutes before they opened. I never thought that a tiny red shack would become my favorite ice cream place. There is a reason they say not to judge a book by its cover. When the previous owner, Brandon, saw me patiently waiting outside, he allowed me to come in ten minutes early to sample flavors to see if there was anything I liked. Upon trying my first sample, I realized I had found a new favorite ice cream place, and Novel Ice Cream has been my favorite ice cream shop since. Novel has eight flavors available every day, and four that rotate periodically. Of all the flavors I have tried, not a single one has disappointed me. Not only is their ice cream divine, but their sorbets are also exceptional. Their sorbets are also very refreshing. I also like that they allow samples. The service is friendly. No matter how long the line is, it moves quickly, and the wait is worth it. While I enjoy everything on the menu, my favorite item that Novel offers is the dough melt. While many ice cream flavors go well with the dough melt, the sorbets are hit or miss, depending on the flavor you get. They put a generous scoop of ice cream in the dough melt, along with a topping of your choice. It is their most popular item for a reason. You can never go wrong with the dough melt. For such high-quality ice cream, the prices are very reasonable. That is another thing I appreciate about Novel. I also like that they are a local, family-owned business. You can tell they care about making the best ice cream possible. The current owner, Shawn Allard, purchased Novel in August 2023, and I would like to give him a shout-out for ensuring the quality has remained consistent all these years. I also like the courtyard the shop is in. There are many shops in the area, including a barber shop. It has been a great pleasure being a regular customer for the last several years. If you are looking for a great ice cream shop in the Phoenix area, Novel Ice Cream is the place to go. I will continue to support Novel and spread the word about how great they are. When it comes to ice cream in Arizona, Novel is the king.

Deserves Best Ice Cream ranking, really good Ice cream. Interesting location, small little building that shares patio with coffee place, tattoo shop, barber and wedding planner. Bourbon Ice Cream deserves the praise it receives, exceptional! Vanilla Ice Cream is also delicious and the waffle cones are spot on. Little bit of a drive but worth it!

I had a great experience; my ice cream donut sandwich was delicious. The guy who took my order was very kind, the service was fast, and my donut was fluffy and fresh.
Mayra N — Google review
Novel Ice Cream is absolutely the best ice cream spot in town! Their handcrafted scoops are as creamy and flavorful as they come, with exciting rotating flavors that keep things fresh. Don’t miss the doughnut-ice-cream “Dough Melt”, a warm glazed donut pressed around your favorite scoop and toppings. The shop’s cheerful vibe and friendly staff make it an easy favorite. It’s no wonder it was just named the top ice cream shop in the country. Truly a must-visit!

Daily Jam is a laid-back American cafe that serves up classic breakfast and lunch dishes in a cool urban setting with an outdoor patio. Situated near the famous A Mountain, it's a great spot to grab a casual breakfast before or after a morning hike. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including their renowned Red Velvet Waffles and customizable cereal waffles. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying their delicious breakfast offerings.
Great food at a great price in a great location. Very conveniently located right by the light rail in the middle of Tempe so getting here is extremely quick and easy. When I came in for breakfast, they were a little bit busy but the service was fast. I ordered a grilled cheese with everything on it. It had several kinds of cheese, bacon, and ham and it was really good. Very cheesy, very flavorful and one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that I've had in a long time.

In the mood for breakfast, brunch, or lunch and in the Tempe area we found this little spot on the corner. Parking will be an issue as you may have to pay for parking depending on what time and where you decide to drop anchor. Also, depending on the time, how many are in your party, you may have some seating issues. There is a outside seating as well, however, this is the Phoenix metro area so depending on the time of the year it may be scorching outside. Now let's get to the food, pretty decent list to select from. Everyone in our party of 6 found something different to satisfy their food needs. My egg white zucchini was quite delicious. Restrooms not appealing. Otherwise, good place to eat.

Met a friend for breakfast. I ordered the Morning Glory and was excited for it but it needs more flavor. Mimosa was good! Interactions with the staff were friendly. Overall I would definitely come back I enjoyed the atmosphere and views. We went at 9am on a Saturday and had no problem finding a table. You will need to pay for parking but there are quite a few lots/garages around. If you plan on coming late morning maybe check the menu ahead of time. As the others have said you order then find a seat.

Mapped and walked over from hotel during a quick visit. It’s one of the few breakfast/brunch places open at 7am in this area. I have to agree with the other reviews, it’s ok but not spectacular. I was immediately greeted and welcomed, and service was 5 stars. Food tasted just ok, and portions v price were kinda on the small side. There was not an option to add on half orders of waffles to omelet meals. The coffee was good, but my omelet was folded on the egg side and not the cheese side (cheese side up), so all the veggies fell out with each bite I cut with the fork. Atmosphere was weird as there was construction behind the beverage station and street construction just out the front doors. Not a chill coffee & breakfast vibe, but maybe that will change after the construction is complete.

Barbecue restaurant
Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli in central Phoenix is a family-owned establishment that offers a wide range of Mediterranean delicacies, with a focus on Lebanese cuisine complemented by Israeli and Grecian options. The small grocery within the bakery provides homemade pita bread, tahini, olive oil, and grape leaves. Customers can enjoy a variety of kebabs, falafel, salads, and combo plates at the restaurant.
I was traveling to Phoenix for a weekend trip. I have a gluten intolerance and it's always an adventure to find places that actually have gluten free foods. And OMG the GF selection here is wild! I had my first gyro in probably 10 years. I had baklava! It was so good I licked the paper. They sell gluten free pitas and other hand made bakery items. The family that owns the shop are super sweet too. The setting is like being in a specialty store with a small cafe. Order at the counter and they bring your order to your table.

Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli 3052 N 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016 Happy 4th of July, dear friends! Today was a busy yet fulfilling day as I worked on my new listing in Central Phoenix. After capturing some lovely photos, I felt a delightful hunger coming on, and I was thrilled to discover a charming restaurant nearby. The Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli instantly reminded me of my grandmother’s warm kitchen, filled with love and delicious aromas. It was heartwarming to see that the kitchen staff seemed to be all ladies, adding to the cozy atmosphere. I decided to treat myself to the Kabob Combo plate, along with a dessert and a refreshing Coke. The combo plate was a delightful experience, bursting with flavor, though I found the chicken a bit on the dry side. Nevertheless, it was seasoned beautifully, making it enjoyable. The dessert was a true highlight! I loved its texture and taste, even though I’m not quite sure what it was called. It was simply delicious! I left with a happy heart and a promise to return soon to explore more of the delightful dishes on their menu. This place is definitely a gem worth revisiting!

What a terrific experience we had at the Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli! The service was wonderful and they accommodated my gluten free needs with many choices. They have the most amazing gluten free pitas, breads, hand pies, pita chips, and even gluten free BAKLAVA! FYI, get their lemonade because it's amazing. The owner was very helpful and also taught me about some of the unique beads that they have and the purpose and culture behind it. This place is also a mini market so although it feels a bit tight when ordering, there's plenty of room at the tables. The whole place is thoroughly decorated and there is authentic art on the wall, some of it 100 years old! It was a wonderful meal and a memorable experience.

But they have a fresh restaurant as well and their gluten free pita is so amazing.

Ollie Vaughn's is a cozy bakery and sandwich shop located on McDowell Road in Phoenix. The breakfast menu offers made-to-order sandwiches served on house-made biscuits or croissants, along with options like pork chile verde and ricotta pancakes topped with fruit compote. The dishes are described as fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The quiche is highlighted for its flaky crust and rich filling.
Worth the hype and would go again, but here are some things I wish I knew before! Parking is very limited and not intuitive. You can either park in a lot across the street next to circle K — (this will be your best bet),do street parking or do the parking lot closest to the highway adjacent to the building. There’s another lot on the other side of the building closer to the hospital that’s strictly owned by other vendors. It’s fast casual but since it’s so busy with limited seating that makes the experience a bit chaotic. Would not recommend for large groups. I’d consider a group of 4 large. Indoor seating has mainly 4 top tables, and there’s only 5 stools for bar seating. Outdoor there are more table options but again mainly large tables. Expect to do communal seating/wait for a table on a weekend. I also think the fast casual setting makes staff less eager to help seat you. That being said, despite all the inconveniences listed above —- the food was THAT good that we will absolutely be back !!!!!!! We typically don’t spend $ on breakfast but felt that both dishes were ones we couldn’t create on our own. Could taste the high quality ingredients !!

This is a great place for breakfast. We had the lemon blueberry pancakes and also the scramble both were very flavorful. We also ordered the brown sugar shaken espresso that tasted great However it was in a small cup, it was maybe 12 ounces w/ lots of ice, of course due to the drink. You may get approximately 6 ounces of the actual coffee - don’t get me wrong it was delicious But you only get so much for the $7.50 cost. I would return, great vibes, friendly service, tasty food with neat presentation.

The food was amazing as usual, the atmosphere is great whether you sit inside or outside. Unfortunately they did not have any of the green chile pork for the Cuban so we will have to try that next time. The staff is lovely. We will be back for more!

We both enjoyed a sausage biscuit breakfast sandwich and it was SO insanely tasty! The biscuits were amazing, the tops of them were crusted up perfectly. The sausage is delicious, but what really put them above and beyond was the jalapeño marmalade. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time.

What a fun brunch spot! And the food was wonderful. I came in and ordered immediately at the counter. This place is busy so be patient! I got the quiche of the day (goat cheese tomato) amd a lemon bar to go. The flaky pastry of both the quiche and lemon bar was top tier. I also ordered a lavender honey coffee and they were able to make it with almond milk and decaf. It was so delicious. Seating here is very limited inside but they have a sizable patio out back with sails over the top and a beautiful mural. This place is woman-owned and has been here forever. It feels good here - like a place so established that only the locals know about it and they're not sharing the secret. 10/10.

The cast iron baked eggs had a delicious and unique flavor while the banana pie was a generous serving and the perfect balance of sweet. The outdoor seating had mist fans and trees with oranges, which made the experience more memorable.

I ordered the nova lox bagel. It comes as an everything bagel toasted. The inside of the bagel was nicely brown but the outside appeared burnt. It was also very very hard. I cut it in half and proceeded to do my best to eat half of the bagel. I finished almost the first half, and just couldn't get through the rest due to the severely hard outside of the bagel, burnt sesame seeds and poppy seeds. We brought it to the front and they offered to make a new one. A few moments later my husband comes back with a to- go box and I stated that was quick. He was told by management that it wasn't burnt just toasted and they would indeed not be fixing the issue. Based on the half I attempted to eat but couldnt due to extreme bitterness from the burnt parts and extremely hard bagel, plus the photos provided of what was left for me to eat; I sure do think this was not handled correctly by the management. We don't eat out much anymore and this was a new place for us to try as a special occasion breakfast. Honestly will not be returning. Banana bread was also dry, chorizo burrito small. They do have a nice atmosphere outside in the back and the cashier was very friendly at ordering.

Nestled on the ASU campus, Sushi 101 has been a beloved destination for sushi lovers since 2001. This Tempe gem offers an extensive menu that goes beyond just sushi; you'll find everything from Scottish salmon and chicken katsu to poke bowls and teriyaki dishes. The variety is impressive, with options like bento boxes available during lunch and a delightful selection of ramen.
Sushi Chef Miguel did an incredible job! The quality was spectacular, and every bite was thoughtfully crafted. I had the unagi donburi, assorted nigiri, and the Captain Crunch and Ruby Sunset rolls—both left me wanting more. Great customer service and fresh ingredients. This Sushi 101 is even better than I remember!

Friday night around 830 pm, right before happy hour at 9. We ordered the authentic ramen, bang bang specialty roll, spicy tuna roll, chicken fried rice and crab puffs. The food was ok, price didnt reflect the quality. It was cozy and intimate for a date night. The ramen seemed like something we could've done stove top at home, the bang bang was overrated snd pricey (the kick from the habaneros masked the poor quality of fish), the fried rice was buttery and soft but the chicken was flavorless and it was served in a chipped bowl. The crab puffs were small, reminded me of fortune cookie size. Service was good though!

I've been coming to sushi 101 since 2012. Their specialty rolls do not miss. They have lots of options from salads, rice, noodles bowls, maki, and some amazing desert. Their hhr is daily 3 to 7. We got spring rolls and pork gyoza. It was light and crispy and the dipping sauce was so good. For rolls we did a shrimp tempura with crunch and Philly. For special rolls today was the diamond backs and sun devil. The service was quick and she checked on us frequently making our experience today a great one. We'll be back soon!

First time eating here. Tried two rolls from the Specialty menu, both were yummy! One was called Bang Bang, can't remember the other one. The recipes on the Specialty menu are creative; it was hard to decide. And, they don't overdo it with the rice, so you can enjoy these great flavors without feeling overstuffed with starch. My goal is to try every roll on the Specialty menu. Kudos to Luis the sushi chef and Jill, the hostess. A very pleasant dining experience!

I'm so happy to find this place! Best Sushi I have been to in Arizona, hands down. I've lived in Hawaii and been to Japan. The quality of food and freshness is as good or better than I've had there. Truly something for everyone on their menu. You can tell they go through great pains to get the best ingredients to use in their time-tested authentic recipes. If you're looking for the best Japanese food in Arizona, look no further. This is the place! The environment is very clean and friendly plus there are plenty of TVs for the sports enthusiasts. Another great thing is I noticed that under their bar they have outlets so if you're Cellphone is low you have a place to get a charg while you eat. Take my advice and stop in like me. I'm sure it will become your new local favorite!

They got my food order wrong 2 times. I ended up eating the second order even though it was not what I ordered as I was hungry and my friends were done eating their meals. The waiter apologized and said he will take 10% off my bill. The manager came over and said because I ate most of the food she would NOT give 10% off my meal even though the waiter had already said he would and I thanked him. I have never had such poor service, it was like a slap in the face!

Tables are super close, but to be expected in the airport. We shared a quesadilla. It was decent; nothing to write home about. Pico de gallo is devoid of flavor. Salsa is meh. Service was top notch as was the size of my second 9 oz pour of Pinot Grigio, which was decent as well. It is noisy if all tables are full. There’s also limited room for suitcases, but again, it’s an airport restaurant so…Overall, a decent place to kill time in terminal 4 near gate B22. Sit by the window for views of planes leaving and arriving, but don’t expect a peaceful experience.
KM H — Google review
The food was delicious. We had the Turkey Melt and the Stetson Chopped Salad. The arugula was delicious and the sandwich was substantial and cooked to perfection. We were at the airport with not many options, so you wouldn’t expect the atmosphere to be great. We were crammed in and sat right by the entrance. Service was a bit slow, but given they have no real competition, we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was.

Was seated quickly, waited an extra few minutes for a server. The waiter was very nice and food came out quickly. It was delicious to say the least.

Went 7 months ago and again tonight’ Solid place for a beverage and some food as you are between flights. Chicken quesadilla is a good choice. The shrimp polenta was actually much better than expected! Have a big cold draft beer or a decent glass of wine as you pass the time. Maybe watch some TV/the game. Prices are “airport high”, but that’s to be expected! Our bartender server, Karen, took a long second to notice us, but after that she was attentive and very nice VictorB

Great food! Friendly and fast service. Much better than the French cafe next to it. The Rose got me tipsy with six ounces. It was awesome! And the food was super good! Thank you for making my missed flight just a little better. -Brittany -color cocktail factory

The best desserts in Phoenix. Celebrating our 12 year Anniversary. Every year we order cupcakes and tiramisu in memory of our wedding day. Tastes like a dream that you don’t want to wake up from. That’s why we always get 4 of both so we can enjoy for a few days. We get cookies on holidays and mothers/ Father’s Day, birthdays. We love Barbs Bakery.

I've bought two cakes for my parent's birthdays this year and they loved them. I wish I had taken a picture of my dad's face yesterday when I opened the box with his cake in it. We hadn't had Red Velvet cake in a long time. It was already made but my family enjoyed it. The photo of a cake looks a little weird because it had just been sliced. I bought a cookie platter for my students for Valentine's Day. I was concerned they wouldn't eat them all. My students and other staff ate the entire platter within a week. Thank you Barb's bakery!

Special ordered a cannoli cake for my daughter's birthday. It was AMAZING! Everyone I dealt with was friendly & helpful. They have a huge assortment of pastries, each on looks better than the next! This is definitely my go-to for baked goods.

Came in 15 minutes before closing with a custom cake order I needed the following morning. I ordered a pink champagne cake with custom art on top that I designed and emailed over for them (Only a $15 charge to add graohic prints) Cake was ready on time and exceeded presentation expectations. Parts of ends of cake a tiny bit dry but the entire center was amazingly moist and delicious. I will definitely be returning. I have been frequenting for their cupcakes as well the price point is extremely fair.

Adding to my review... I’m beyond thrilled with my birthday cake! I keep looking at my pictures and showing it off to everyone. This year was a big one—I turned 50 years young! Since I was 5, I’ve had the same birthday cake every single year, but I decided to celebrate this milestone by doing something completely different. The flavor combination we chose ended up being a close version of the wedding cake I always wanted but never had, which made it even more special. Thank you for always creating such amazing desserts for all of my family’s special occasions—you’ve truly made them unforgettable. 🩷 And yes, I’m proudly a Jimmy Buffett Parrothead 🦜🦈🍔🕔🍹 Original review: LOVE my CAKE!!! Thank you David and Norma for working on this with me. I had a vision and you both made it happen. Beautiful cake design and it tasted amazing. 👏 👏👏 Barb's Bakery is truly the best in Phoenix!

Cafe
Berdena's is a quaint and sunny café located in Old Town Scottsdale, known for its charming pastel interiors and modern yet cheerful atmosphere. The café offers both indoor seating and an outdoor patio for enjoying coffee in the open air. Owned by Jonathan Madrigal, a Costa Rican native, Berdena's aims to provide top-notch coffee and food experiences.
I’ve been a regular at Berdenas for almost a year now. The quality of food, coffee and service has been amazingly consistent every time. The space is smaller, but there are plenty of windows that let in natural light which makes it feel very open. They make their own syrups, which makes a massive difference in the quality. I personally love their cardamom rose latte and matcha. Ava the barista always brightens my day, Braydon as well. He’s always consistent with perfect latte art. I will continue to come here and recommend it to anyone with ears.
Jamie M — Google review
Good coffee and juice. I had a cortado which was nutty and creamy. My wife had a honey lavender latte which was also good. To eat, I had the burrito which was honestly a solid burrito. Good size and it was delicious. The salsa with it was also excellent. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and it was also a solid portion and taste. It’s obviously a very busy place due to its excellent food and drink, so be prepared to stand in line when visiting during busy hours, but I don’t think we waited for longer than 15 minutes. We went at 11:00am on a Saturday and it’s my understanding that it isn’t always busy like that. 10/10 I highly recommend.

I’ve come into Berdena’s a few times and I’ve had a great experience every time. When I’ve gone in on weekend days, all of the baristas are super friendly and bring great energy to the busy store! They also have great coffee knowledge. Berdenas has one of the best cortados I’ve had in Scottsdale! The breakfast burritos are also amazing.

We stopped here after a bad experience in a subpar shop and were delighted. The place is very small with limited seating and unfortunately seat hoggers on their mobile devices are a plenty, so seating here can be tricky. The service is friendly, helpful, and attentive. We did not have any food here as it was lunch time and the pastries were sold out, but the coffee was delicious. Can't wait to go back earlier and have some of their food (hopefully we can sit next time). If you go early, parking should not be a probelm, but one can always park near Fashion Square and have a short walk here if no immediate parking available.

Great coffee and baked goods. Their croissants are buttery, flaky and delicious. The coffee is brewed with attention and care. Only drawback: very few seats inside.

I love coming to this cute coffee shop, but my experience yesterday was honestly horrible. I went around 11 AM, and the cashier was super sweet. But the barista making my drink… she did NOT know how to make the simplest order. I asked for an iced honey latte with oat milk. When my drink came out, all the honey was literally sitting at the bottom. I politely asked if she could please fix it because I like my honey actually mixed in, and she immediately gave me attitude. She started arguing with me saying “that’s how it is.” I asked if she could remake it and even explained a quick, simple way to mix honey so it doesn’t just sink. Then another barista jumped in, started making it super aggressively, and told me adding hot water “wouldn’t make a difference.” Spoiler: it absolutely does. Right after handing me the drink, she took off her apron, said she “needed a break,” and stormed out. It was honestly wild.

This artsy cafe offers a great selection of coffee beans, as well as delicious food options like breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I've only been to be Coffee once but I had a pretty enjoyable experience. The food was good. The atmosphere was stimulating and the service was not too shabby either. I was surprised to find so much character inside. I spent the first ten minutes just walking around taking in the scenery. They did an amazing job with maximizing use of the space. Everything from the decor to the art gallery to the sliding door that joined their coffee shop with the neighboring restaurant screamed personality and originality. I plan to put this one on my rotation.

Customer service is superb. I went in on a Saturday morning and was more than pleased to be treated with the utmost attentiveness and care. They told me about their food and drink options and I was not disappointed! Since I have a milk intolerance they were super sensitive to taking care not to put any milk or milk product in my breakfast sandwich. I also ordered a caramel soy latte (with their housemade syrup) and felt super at-home with their artsy and simplistic atmosphere. Will definitely be going here again.

Jamba is a vibrant counter-serve chain that specializes in health-conscious fruit smoothies, refreshing juices, and light snacks. Among its extensive menu, the classic lemonade stands out with its perfect balance of tartness and sweetness, served icy cold for a delightful treat. This particular Jamba location shines not only for its delicious offerings but also for its exceptional staff who are known for their friendliness and efficiency. Visitors often rave about the cleanliness of the space and the prompt service they receive.
Arguably the best Jamba in the valley. The staff is very friendly, prompt, efficient, and keeps the place quite immaculate. I highly recommend the Greens and Ginger. Thank you for your wonderful care. 💚
Michael M — Google review
So, my friend and I decided to swing by Jamba Juice after our gym session to fuel up with some smoothies. We’ve been loyal fans of the place for a while, but today… well, let’s just say the smoothie gods were not smiling upon us. As we stood there, scanning the menu for the umpteenth time (because who really remembers what’s on the menu after the gym?), the lady behind the counter was clearly having a “moment” with the cash drawer. And when I say “moment,” I mean a full-on verbal adventure that sounded like it belonged in an R-rated version of Pirates of the Caribbean. I haven’t heard words like that since my last encounter with a crew of sailors. I kept glancing at my friend, wondering if this was some sort of live-action swear-word performance art. But we stuck it out—because, hey, we were committed to those smoothies—and after about 3-4 minutes of colorful language (which, I’ll admit, did provide some entertainment), the lovely Aubrey swooped in to take our order and save the day. The drawer situation was eventually sorted, and we were able to pay, get our drinks, and flee the scene, not unlike a couple of shipwrecked sailors who just dodged a cannonball. In the end, the smoothies were good—classic Jamba Juice quality—but the customer service? Well, let’s just say it could use a little… polish. But hey, sometimes you get more than you bargain for when you pop in for a smoothie. And today, I guess I got a little extra flavor.

After the gym I wanted to get a greens and ginger drink so I stopped by. When I walked in I was never greeted nor informed well just be a min. They ignored me for 5 min until they finally came to the register. I ordered my drink I still holler over a $2 tip and went about my day. Horrible service…team members do not look friendly. I would not recommend this establishment to others.
Armando A — Google review
I just started working close to this Jamba Juice and it is prob one of the healthiest, plant based options in this area. After spending time looking at the menus I settled on the greens and ginger. The first ingredient is lemon-aide. Generally lemonade has a good amount of sugar but it’s Jamba Juice so i thought it would be less. I asked if the lemon-aide contained lots of sugar and someone on staff told me, “it’s not too sweet” then another staff member told me, “there’s some sugar but it’s all natural” lol. The Greens and Ginger arrived quickly and i was handed it by a very smiley staff member. It was delicious and absolutely refreshing on this hot Phoenix day. Now the unfortunate part, I looked online and it has 77 Grams of sugar! It seems that I need to find a different option there. Suggestions? I want raw greens of some sort. I like almost all fruits. I am trying to significantly limit sugar. I prefer to stay plant based on most things in life EXCEPT when I go out on a special occasion for tacos. :)

They are committed to ensuring that everyone can enjoy dessert by providing options such as gluten-free, egg-free, vegan, keto, paleo, and sugar-free baked goods. Additionally, they offer custom cakes and desserts to meet specific dietary needs.
I first heard about My Gal Sal about 5 months ago when my mom ordered a gluten-free vegan banana cake for my birthday, and hands down this cake is the best one I've had in my entire life! I also recommend their cookies, cupcakes, cake pops and muffins! Since I eat a mainly plant-based diet, it can be tough finding options to satisfy my sweet tooth. Thankfully My Gal Sal has tons of allergen and diet friendly options! I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone and will continue to use their business for future events!

I moved to the Phoenix area recently and was looking for a bakery that would make a gluten free and vegan cake for a gender reveal party. I came across Sal's bakery and had the best experience! First of all, Sal is so kind and professional in all communications. I had initially scheduled the cake and needed to reschedule. Sal was very understanding and accommodating. The cake turned out perfect and is THE BEST gluten free, vegan cake I have ever had. We will be coming back for any future parties or events. I cannot recommend this bakery enough. Thank you, Sal!!

My fiancé Steven and I have been on the lookout for a great bakery with gluten free options due to his allergies. LET ME TELL YOU, we were in for a *huge* surprise because their menu has a wide variety of options, from breakfast and lunch to pies, cakes and other desserts! They have a huge menu for keto and vegan options as well! You know how most gluten free items actually taste gluten free? Not-uh, not these desserts. Everything we have tried has been so delicious and DEVINE. I want to drool when I think of their food, honestly you need to just go and experience everything for yourself!

Biggest assortment of baked goods I’ve come across. The woman who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I am super impressed and will be enjoying my sweet treats. I got vegan and was not disappointed AT ALL. The donut was warm and fresh and the macarons were the perfect texture and sweetness.

This is such an amazing find! Both my daughter and I are Gluten Sensitive. My best friend is Gluten Free Vegan and I am also a diabetic. My Gal Sal's has everything to make all kinds of folks happy. It's so good that I can go with friends and everyone can find something that they can eat! The KETO offerings mean that I can enjoy some of my favorite desserts and not feel guilty! The food is delicious and my daughter goes crazy for the macarons with all the fantastic flavors. The cake pops are absolutely delicious and come in so many different options - they were the perfect option for me when choosing a Staff Appreciation Gift of Cake Pops for Painted Rock Academy and Sal generously added extra cake pops at no charge. This is a fantastic small business offering delicious food in a wide variety of allergy sensitive diets. Bravo to My Gal Sal!!!
Renee P — Google review
My Gal Sal's is by far the best gluten free bakery in town. As someone with Celiac Disease, Sal has been an absolute godsend to me. I seriously cannot explain how much I love this bakery and the woman who owns it. All GF items are made and stored in a separate area from regular items. They also have a gigantic keto and regular bakery selection. Their lunch and breakfast menus are just as inclusive. Sal and her employees even know me by name at this point and leave cute notes in my take out. Recently, I ordered 6 large sugar cookies for fun and told Sal not to worry about the decorations too much. She went above and beyond and even told me "hearts because we love you here!" I seriously cannot recommend this place enough and would encourage people of all diets and lifestyles to check it out. You will not get a small town feeling like this from many other places in Phoenix.

Lee Lee International Market is a really interesting place to shop. They have a wide selection of international foods you don’t usually find in regular grocery stores, which makes it a great spot if you’re looking for something unique or authentic from different cultures. The store is big and can feel a little overwhelming at first, but once you know your way around, it’s easier to find what you need. Prices are fair, and it’s a nice option for anyone who enjoys trying new foods or cooking with ingredients from around the world.

This review is for the little boba place inside the supermarket. We stopped to get some items and went into a little tiny food shop that serves boba and a variety of foods like Vietnamese sandwiches, sushi, and other dishes. This is not the restaurant but the food shop next door. We really enjoyed the food and hospitality. I tried the Thai tea which tasted so fresh and delicious. The seating is limited, only three tables, but the people prepare and serve your food with pride. It is made fresh and you can see them working behind the counter. If you have a large party, this is not the place to stop. You can accommodate larger parties in the restaurant next door. This is for a quick snack and drink if you want to sit and eat. Definitely a nice little place to try out.

I've always wanted to try the famous Crumbl Cookies. I guess it's a hit or miss with what the reviews say. I went with the holiday confetti, snickerdoodle cupcake, and milk chocolate chip, and OMG were they amazing. My favorite one is the holiday confetti, tho all three were delicious. And the best part is that the cookies are so big you WILL have leftovers. I will definitely be ordering again to try other flavors.

This place always rush to get things done and cookies are never cooked properly not even the minis. I will not be ordering from this location, the lady helping seemed annoyed with being there. I was so excited to try their pumpkin this week just to take a bite of uncooked cake. I wasted over $20 dollars.

Update: the blueberry muffin cookie is my favorite! 😋🍪🫐🩷 The strawberry shortcake was SO GOOD! The cookie itself was soft and moist, and the whipped cream topping with little strawberry and sugar clumps paired so well with the cookie. This has been my favorite Crumbl cookie by far! Bumped up a star for this one!! 🍓🍰🍪💖 — We were greeted warmly, and customer service was decent as it was our first time in the store and required some extra patience when ordering. We got the chocolate chip, chilled sugar cookie, chocolate and strawberry cheesecake, and the butterfinger. The cookies and packaging are cute and present very well. Not sure if I loved them enough to return for these flavors, but glad I gave them a try.

It was okay I took my daughter there cuz she asked me. The large cookies were a little undone in the middle flavor was okay the chocolate chip cookie I didn't like it at all it didn't have much flavor to it it was just big. Overall it was a good experience with the people that work there but I think it's a little overrated and overpriced for the taste in quality

If you are looking for a cookie go to Whole Foods. Crumbl does not sell cookies they sell invitations to heaven. Each flavor is far beyond anything you have ever experienced. Some are served warm and others are served chilled and each comes packed with flavor. Be warned- the cookies are so good that you'll forget how bad your stomach is starting to hurt (at least that was my experience). We got a four pack and each was fantastic. Go there now. Love this place! I felt like I was in the Temple Bar district in Dublin! Very authentic, modern, good indoor and outdoor seating & 2 bars. The food was fantastic and our waiter was awesome! He recommended a very good local beer. We ordered fish and chips & beef nested in Irish mac & cheese. The were both very well prepared! You love the "chips", too! We were there early for a Friday night. It was getting crowded by the time we left.

Great shepherd pie (ranked best in Phoenix) and selection of Irish beers. Irish chips are interesting and worth a try. Lamb stew is awesome. Should definitely get some Irish beers too :)

Awesome food, music, and Irish feel. Didn't try the beer but... its beer so its good by default. I got the Mac and cheese burger and it wasn't bad. Burger patty was freshly made and well seasoned. I also got their Rula Bula fries... kinda boring tbh. Wife got the 3 piece fish and chips, super delicious. The 'chips' were really good. Food is a bit pricey but we highly recommend it.

Stopped for a lunch on a casual afternoon, Although had to wait a bit to be sited but service was excellent after that. I can not confirm their claim of offering Phoenix's best wings as dont have other experiences to compare, but they tasted great. They have multiple good options for food and drink and location is clean. Will recommend.

This place. This is the best Irish pub I've ever been to. Food and service was killer. Prices were super good. This is a place that is featured in a wonderful fantasy novel that I have read and when I knew I was only going to be 20 minutes from it I had to go. The staff was all too happy to let me geek out on the bar and food and were super happy to tell me stories of other fans. I had a great time here and cannot recommend this place enough. Get the fish and chips. I have never seen a place execute on fish and chips better than this place.

Great ambiance and pub feel with a multitude of Irish beer and cider on tap. Food was delicious and tasted authentic according to my friends who have visited the Emerald Isle. The wait staff we're knowledgeable and friendly and I will definitely be visiting again.

If you’re staying at the Tempe Palms Hotel, this restaurant is right next-door to it from the west Hotel courtyard. It has many selections of food, including Irish classics, but much more than that. The Guinness chicken wings were fantastic! the shepherds pie was homemade and it tasted fantastic. The restaurant is decorated in Irish themes and is fun to explore, the outside patio is also well done, and staff were friendly and very helpful with anything we needed regarding menu questions etc. A great place to eat with reasonable prices and excellent food!

Classic Irish bar. Would highly recommend their Signature Fish and Chips if you fan of fish and chips. Their Irish Coffee is a delightful surprise. It's a strange drink but it's good.

Nestled in a lavish 1920s Spanish Colonial home, Royal Palms Resort and Spa -The Unbound Collection by Hyatt offers an upscale lodging experience with a spa, fine dining options, and a poolside bar. Originally built as a romantic desert getaway, the hotel provides an intimate atmosphere of a luxurious private residence combined with the amenities of an award-winning resort.
From the second we walked into Royal Palms Resort and Spa, the service stood out. Wes at the front desk was amazing, super friendly and helpful, and he stayed with us the whole check-in process. He even walked us to our room and made sure everything was perfect. What really impressed us was how engaging he was with our kids too. It instantly made the whole place feel warm and welcoming, almost like a small bed and breakfast instead of a big resort. The property itself is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous grounds, really well-kept, and just fun to walk around and explore. We had dinner and breakfast on-site, and both meals were fantastic. The portions were big, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Our water glasses were never more than a quarter empty, which tells you how attentive the staff is. We’ve stayed at other American Express Fine Hotels before, but this one really stood out. There’s something more personal about it—it feels like the staff actually cares about your experience. It was more intimate than other resorts we’ve tried nearby, and we’re already talking about when we can come back.

I'll start by saying Its rare for me to leave a review. These guys have been so generous. We did not deserve this generosity. These acts of kindness made my wife’s week. We have been to many hyatt's since it is our fav brand. At every interaction we were given something. Bags to the room were offered once we stepped out of the uber (We declined we never wanna be a burden). Then being upgraded to a better room. Offered Wine. Asked again for bags to the room (We felt bad denting again). Once we were settled we stepped out and were offered more water. Then someone stopped by and gave us an anniversary bag. I’m not the type to leave leave a review but the hospitality has been top tier.

Amazing hotel for work or play. I visited for a work event and everything was perfect: setting, food, service, rooms. I upgraded to a Casita and it was very spacious. The vegetation and water features and architecture are all beautiful and calming. Only 15 minutes from PHX Sky Harbor airport.

Amazing staff. Amazing staff. A great relaxing experience with zero issues or things to improve. They did it right and continue. Pool with drinks and food, great restaurant with good size portions making the price very reasonable. Drinks are well done! Good cigars sold at the bar with great drinks. Best relaxing vaca in a long time.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I’d stepped into another world. Royal Palms Resort & Spa is pure magic—its Spanish-inspired design makes it feel like a romantic getaway frozen in time, full of charm and timeless elegance. The service? Absolutely flawless. I was welcomed with a glass of champagne (yes, please!) and given a personal tour by the lovely Barbara, who was so warm and welcoming that I instantly felt at home. Every little detail was spot on. The staff were incredibly attentive without ever hovering, and the grounds? Just wow. Lush, peaceful, and totally picture-perfect. Honestly, the whole experience was unforgettable. If you're looking for a getaway that blends luxury, beauty, and top-tier service, Royal Palms is it.

I was extremely excited about visiting this resort and spa, and I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service from the moment I arrived in the parking lot. The assistance I received at the spa front desk was exceptional. I've stayed at various resorts in the valley, but Royal Palms Resort truly stands out due to the staff's positive attitude, knowledge, and overall experience. They offer excellent service with an amazing massage therapist, and the cleanliness of the place made a significant difference. It really matters when front desk staff or management maintain a great attitude towards others. It was also my first visit to the Mix Up Bar, where I experienced wonderful customer service; the staff members were friendly and helpful, recommending the perfect meal. Everything is made fresh. Additionally, I stopped by the main front desk office for the resort and spoke with Madison Milacek, the front office manager, who was very approachable and kind. She shared her positive thoughts about the resort in general, which is truly fantastic to hear about such a great environment. Thank you for providing excellent service and having team members that set you apart from other places; it genuinely encourages people to return.

I fell in love with this Spanish villa resort. From the VIP greeting to the stay duration, immaculate detail to customer service and attention to details from the meals to cleanliness of the whole resort. Each "villa" unit is unique and feels very private. I would return here again. Beautiful ambiance and design as I tried to capture in my photos. Must see for yourself.

Absolutely five stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My wife and I celebrated our nine-year anniversary at the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. We booked the Romance Package, and the experience was beyond our expectations. The manager personally escorted us to our room—an incredibly classy touch—and when the door opened, we were welcomed by rose petals gracefully scattered on the floor, leading us to the bed. Later that evening, when we sat down to dinner, we were met with yet another romantic gesture—rose petals on our table. The rib eye was absolutely perfect—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally professional, warm, and eager to serve. The couple’s massage was pure bliss—a heavenly experience that left us both refreshed and relaxed. The spa amenities, jacuzzi, pool area, and overall ambiance were pristine, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. A huge thank you to Charles and the entire Royal Palms team for going above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. We truly felt seen, valued, and celebrated. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, an anniversary escape, or simply a luxurious time of rest and connection—look no further than the Royal Palms Resort. We’ll definitely be back! 💛 — Chris & Rosa Appleton

Always Delicious, always excellent service. Went for a celebration dinner, I bought a new car! We were exhausted and wanted something quick that we could share, filling and delicious 👌 The atmosphere is dim, casual with a feel of elegance. The kitchen is open with an entrance to the parking lot that we use every time we go. Found out from Joe, I think he might be the head Chef? That the restaurant is privately owned with sister restaurant's of some of my favorites...

One of my favorite restaurants in the valley. This is me and my wife's go to place if we ever want to take friends to a new place. The fire roasted chicken, and the cornbread is to die for. The cornbread is the best ever!!! Although this is one of our favorite places, we are disappointed that they just took the house salad off their menu. It was truly to die for and it is sad they took it off the menu.

Great place to eat while in Old Town Scottsdale. Limited menu, but everything on it is fantastic. High quality. The salmon is a must try. Wait staff is professional and always on top of service. Great atmosphere. Clean and very well maintained. You can go super casual but it feels like you should be a little more well casual. Quiet and low lighting makes for a good place to have easy conversation and not be to loud. A must stop if in Old Town Scottsdale

Consistent each and every time we go here. Very surprised we walked right in to get seated quickly, when we were expecting some sort of wait. Helpful and knowledgeable staff when it comes to allergies and working through the menu. Ribs were amazing, wish there were more than 3 in the order but was fine since we ordered and Chicken chopped salad (that was fresh and delicious) and a side of broccoli split between two people.

Valentine is a popular spot in the Melrose district, known for its laid-back atmosphere and eclectic Southwestern cuisine. It features a lounge area and serves brunch and dinner, offering unique specialty drinks like cacao cold brew and squash latte. Attached to a vintage furniture store, it's a favorite among foodies looking for delicious pastries or a place to work. Additionally, Valentine offers a cookie and confection box with an array of sweets available for pickup after 11 am.
What an absolute gem of a place. I was skeptical at first, but my wife said I would love it. They have the most amazing and unique drinks and foods. The vanilla corn cappuccino was off the charts good. Then I ordered the pretzel which came with a unique butter and honey, Tomato/tahini bread, and their Olive dish. Flavors that you never had before. This establishment opened in 2020 and survived Covid so that says a lot. I will definitely be going back and want to try some of their breakfast items next. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

The food was decent, but the place was really busy and loud for a Sunday brunch. My eggs came out wrong and the steak was basically raw since they never asked how I wanted it cooked. On the bright side, the drink was great and the pastry ended up being my favorite part.

The vibe was good. But the food was not worth the expensive price tag and we werent sure who was our server, as it was inconsistent. All were nice but it was an odd experience. The presentation of the food was nice, but the flavor was lacking.

Our new favorite spot for a flavorful bite or a unique beverage for breakfast or lunch/dinner. The ambiance is modern and beautiful. Their pastry menu is out of this world. Loved trying the two matcha drinks on their menu. Matcha tonic was my favorite of the two. I have also ordered a classic iced matcha that was made to perfection (matcha people iykyk). The service is always great too ☺️

Cool atmosphere. Attached to a vintage thrift store. Incredible coffee menu with exciting and inventive offerings. The brunch menu was robust and accommodating to many dietary needs. Only 4 stars instead 5 because of texture issues. The BLT was soggy and the tacos lacked any form of crunch or bold taco flavor. The star was the bowl of tots, crisped to perfection, smothered in aoli and topped with seeds for a fun twist.

This restaurant is an amazing hidden gem. The menu is insanely good. The quandary becomes which items to order because they all are so good. A crazy eclectic taste explosion in virtually every selection using the highest quality ingredients. Great cocktails and a very cool space too.

The service was quick and friendly initially. The food was disappointing. None of it came out hot, just warmed which felt more like the food was pre prepared and lightly reheated before being served. The steak came out similarly as the burger, soggy.

I work and live in the area and rarely venture on the west side of Central. Valentine has opened my eyes. Their esthetic, happy hour, menu selection, and cuisine are absolutely superb. Missy took incredible care of us, and picked out a beautiful French Sauvignon Blanc, with a genuine smile, providing warm, friendly service with cute winks to boot. Parking is plentiful and the interior space is wide and open, whether you're there to work remotely, grab an espresso or cocktail, or dine in. Please make sure to also check out Modern Manor, which shares its interior space, giving both such a unique vibe. Thank you for having us and making us feel welcome. I look forward to returning in the evening for dinner.

Have been a longtime customer for years! Love the Harry Potter, Taylor swift & holiday themed treats that taste as amazing as they look. The apple cider donuts in the fall were out of this world & sugar cookies are top tier.

I would not recommend this shop for cakes. I ordered a 4-inch round cake for a birthday, specifically requesting vintage piping and gold accents. What I received looked rushed and poorly executed. The piping was messy, the overall presentation was sloppy, and the writing appeared as if it were done by someone with little to no cake decorating experience. Considering the cake cost around $65, I expected a much higher level of quality. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. You would be better off saving your money and ordering from Walmart.
Ryan W — Google review
I am very sad to have to write this review and Sweet Dee's was our go-to bakery for custom orders for years and I really enjoyed using them for desserts for our parties. On June 30th, 2025 I placed a custom order for a two tier cake for my baby shower. I had a few email correspondence with the woman who takes the custom orders, Lynda-- after I sent my inspiration pictures she left me voicemail asking that I correspond with her via phone so we could discuss some things. We discussed a cake to feed about 30 people (expected guest list was about 27 people) and to make a naked style cake with boho theme (we discussed adding the boho rainbow decoration, fresh flowers and some dried decorative grass to tie it all together). She confirmed my order over the phone and took my payment, then confirmed pickup would be the day of the shower (August 9th) at 1100. Fast forward to the day of the shower, my mom shows up to pick up the cake, and they say they don't have a cake for us. The woman she spoke with was incredibly rude to her and when asked to double check she basically told my mom I never responded to her and the order was never placed. When the message was relayed to me, I quickly got on the phone and let them know everything was done through phone call as that was what I was asked to do. I had $296 taken from my account on 6/30/25 for this custom order and confirmation of the date of pickup and time. I too was met with quite a bit of attitude saying that I should have received a confirmation email if that was the case. I let her know I was unaware of this as I had not received one in the past when I ordered custom cakes from them and that regardless, the money was taken from my account on that day, the cake should have been made. She said they could still make a cake for the event but would not be able to provide the flavors I wanted. I was very disappointed because I was quite set on what flavors I wanted for this cake, but conceited that I didn't have any other option, so I agreed. They did offer to deliver the cake by hand for the trouble, but sadly when it arrived it was nothing like what I would have expected for the price I paid. The cake was significantly smaller than what I ordered and ended up not being able to accommodate the 27 people I had planned for-- I know this was not the right size as I mentioned earlier, I ordered the same size cake/same price cake for my other baby shower and my son's birthday and they were definitely larger cakes. The cake leaned to one side and the flowers arrive totally wilted. The decorations were nothing like what I wanted (although that is to be expected since they didn't have my order apparently) and it was such a disappointment because this cake was supposed to be the centerpiece for my decorations in the kitchen. :( Sadly, even the taste and texture was very off in comparison to other cakes we have ordered in the past. The buttercream had split and was grainy in the center of the bottom layer and the cakes were very dense and had no flavor to them at all. It was honestly embarrassing to serve to my guests and most people left their piece half eaten and opted for the store bought cupcakes we had as a backup. To add to the insult, when the cake was delivered, they gave us an envelope with a 30% off our next purchase--as if we will be ever purchasing from them again after this. I felt that a refund for part of the price we paid would have been more fair considering the cake was not what we ordered, terrible flavor and texture and arrive lopsided with wilted flowers. I have attached a picture of the cake they made for my son's baby shower (Harry Potter) a few years earlier and his first birthday cake (Mickey Mouse) for reference as we paid the same amount of money for all of the cakes so this was the quality and size I was expecting. So disappointed on how bad we were burned this time around and will unfortunately be finding a new bakery for our custom orders each year.
Lauren M — Google review
It's a little bakery so dont go with lots of people it gets crowded fast, if your wanting those mouse/custard filled fruits desserts they sell out after an hour opening! We got a lavender and blueberry cupcake, a pumpkin macaroon, and a chocolate mousse with hard chocolate on the outside decorated as a cookie. The cookie mousse thing was sweet but went nicely with the matcha latte we got, the pumpkin macaroon was delicious and true to taste and the cupcake was a good kind of different flavor was pleasant. Would recommend this place if you like sweet desserts and they are sweeet! Super cute decorative desserts

Pastries are amazing but don’t recommend the cakes… I’d rate 5 star for pastries typically because the bakery aspect is amazing, I’ve always loved the sweet treats! However was pretty disappointed with this cake order. Ordered for my parent’s 25th wedding anniversary and sent many pictures of the cake we wanted to recreate from their wedding. Had a very long phone call explaining exactly what we wanted and was eager to get the cake believing it would be amazing just like all the desserts I’ve had before. It was a simple white frosted banana cake with a bow on the front that wrapped around the edges. The cake in reality tasted like vanilla not banana, the cake was dense, no filling only frosting. The bow was not well constructed, looked unfinished and too big(see picture of top of cake), and wasn’t anything like the inspo pictures. On top of that my sister had to wait over 30 minutes after arriving because it was not ready at the pickup time. Would have said this in person however I had my sister pick this up due to them closing at 2:00 and I work a 9-5. Sad to disappoint my parents and likely won’t order a cake here again. Want to reiterate this is not my typically experience here however I just wanted to post that this may not be the place to order a cake. Still highly recommend their pastries.

Where do I even start.... I sent an email about a month ago to customer order a vintage heart cake for my birthday. SweetDee's has all this hype on social media, so I thought it would be amazing! This place, cake, customer service, everything is bad. I asked for a Chocolate, Cream and Cherry, German Black Forest cake and got a Chcocolate and Coconut Cake. The cake itself was not cute, I think a child could write numbers better then their business can. We cut it open, it looked dry already and the if you put the frosting on your finger it crumbled into bits. I sent an email, left a voicemail. Never got a call back, so I called during business hours to go back and fourth with the owner about what our emails said. She didn't even bother apologizing until I repeated myself 3 times, I already had sent an email with pictures. Then she apologized, tried to explain what a German cake is multiple times. She said their was confusion on flavoring, but they never reached out for clarity or asked any further questions/ sent an email. She also said she would call me back, didn't do that either. For $91.00 after taxes, would you pay for this? Not to mention it's an hour drive. I arrived an hour before the cake was supposed to be ready; to eat there and try their coffee. They said they cake wasn't even ready yet. lol. Take your time, business and birthday's somewhere else.

Ordered online for delivery and boy was I pleasantly surprised at how good this ice cream and cookie dough were! And the chocolate chip cookie is like nothing I have ever had in my life! Very cute place. The cookie dough flavors are definitely hit or miss. I'd probably try it again and order something new, but did have higher hopes for our initial visit. Staff overall was friendly, but responded awkwardly when asked about ingredients/brands.

What a cute little spot. From the color entering the shop to the decor inside this place is a fun little vibe. We were greeted instantly with smiles and asked if we’d ever been in. Since it was our first time the girl at the counter was so sweet offering us info on what they offer and how it works. I’ve never seen so much cookie dough and I’m here for it ha ha. They offer samples which is great and o tried the cookie butter as well as the banana cream pie. Both were good, but cookie butter was amazing. My daughter bought a four scoop container of dough to take and bake..The container came with directions which was great. I opted for a baked chocolate chip cookie. It was perfect amount of soft and gooey chocolate chips. Perfect little treat. Service was great. You can eat the dough without baking which we were told so many people do.

Came to Scoopwell’s for a little victory treat after an escape room with my boyfriend. The shop is small but located in a nice shopping center. We were hoping for a wider variety of ice cream flavors, but the options were very limited just vanilla, chocolate chip, chocolate, and cookies and cream. Since cookie dough is their main thing, we started there. I got the cookie butter and my boyfriend tried chocolate chip dough. Both of us found them overly sweet, so we switched gears and asked for just ice cream. When we requested two scoops of vanilla, the staff member curtly replied, "You can get 3," and when we said we only wanted two, she told us, "3 or 1 is all we serve." Not the friendliest tone, but we went ahead and shared the three scoops. The ice cream itself tasted exactly like Tillamook vanilla. Which we noted as we walked around the AJ’s Fine Foods around the corner and saw a whole 1.5-quart container of Tillamook for the same price we paid for three scoops (nearly $8). The shop was oddly quiet—no background music, no other customers, and the attendant disappeared to the back right after serving us. Overall, if you’re into extremely sweet treats and don’t mind indifferent service, maybe this place is for you. Otherwise, I’d suggest checking out other dessert spots in the area.

I absolutely loved this place, went twice while visiting the area! The atmosphere is so fun, staff was friendly and helpful, letting me try all the samples I wanted before I chose my 4 flavors. They greeted me quickly, gave me excellent recommendations on their favorite flavors and even let me know where the bathroom was if I needed it. I love the tiny scoops! My favorite flavor was definitely the oatmeal chip with the lemon cheesecake coming in a close second. I also love that they share on the lids how you can bake them at home if you’d like!
Melissa P — Google review
We ordered this through Uber so only rating based on taste and our food. We tried most of the flavors of cookie dough and got one 50/50 with ice cream. The cake batter tasted like cake batter but was not great. Peanut butter was good. They were out of the lemon cheesecake so they gave us extra cake batter. Couldn’t tell which one was the s’mores. Brownie batter again tasted like brownie batter it just wasn’t great. The ice cream was good just couldn’t distinguish any of the flavors of the cookie dough. The chocolate chip cookie baked was actually really good though. We have a place back home that we get cookie dough so I know we like the raw dough these just didn’t hit the mark for us.

Nobuo at Teeter House is a Japanese restaurant nestled in a late victorian cottage home in historic Heritage Square in Phoenix. This was my fourth visit to this restaurant, and I had to laugh a bit as my guests and I were seated at the same table as our previous visits. Apparently, we seem to be becoming regulars! To start the evening we ordered two add-ons to the $44 prix-fixe menu: Oyster with spicy daikon and ponzu sauce, and Tempura Squash Blossom stuffed with goat cheese, shiitake mushroom, dried shrimp, and chives. The fresh tasting oyster with the spicy daikon and slightly sour ponzu is a delicious amuse. The squash blossom is crisp and tasty, with creamy goat cheese and a slight hint of shrimp. It’s so delicious it makes me want to have another, even though I know I need to save room for the bento box which will soon be at the table. The service is consistent and friendly at Nobou, and they are always willing to explain any menu item questions. The first course was Hassun, a Japanese antipasto of four small adventures in taste and texture; haricot vert in miso-ginger glaze, snap peas with ground sesame and yuzu, roasted brussel sprouts with wasabi, and watermelon radish in a citrus dressing. Delicious and inventive. The second course is offered as a meat or fish three compartment bento box with rice and salad. I chose the meat option which included short rib slowly braised in ponzu with fried baby carrot and red chilli threads, which was perfectly seasoned and prepared, divine! Also included was fried chicken nanban with pickled pepper and egg salad, and braised pork belly bun with pickled mustard and hoisin sauce. The chicken was crispy and delicious and reminiscent of a picnic with the egg salad and pickled pepper. The pork belly bun was also hearty, tasty, and fulfilling. Finally, dessert is served: strawberry cheesecake, albeit, creatively constructed. I felt it was marginally satisfying to my sweet tooth and appropriate to the cuisine. Nobuo at Teeter House has never failed to impress me in artistry, skill, or flavor. Overall, another very enjoyable dining experience, assuring a return visit in the near future.

I am welcomed with warmth as I enter the doorway. Something special is cooking in the back, and I'm intrigued. I ask for a seat and I'm quickly placed in the corner but without a care. I know this music. A jukebox could exist here and it would never stop playin the music that sets the mood. Tonight it's California Soul. Outside crowds gather seeking Phoenix magazine famous pizza but if they only knew what was happening here. It's reasonably busy and the crowds filter in after the Opening day victory by the Dbacks bested the “Sawks” (Boston Accent exaggerated in my mind, like Chief Wigam from the Simpsons.) I'm enveloped in the tasting menu and my night gleefully gets better. The staff run the place like Fitz and Taurasi would, if given the chance to play the same sport. My water stays full and attention to detail is never lost. I'm happy to return any time, any place. “Saif Special”

I had the premium tasting of 7 courses. It was good; but overpriced for the experience. Feedback for improvement: 15-20mins between courses is long. And the lamb chops are medium rare one side but burned the other side; by 'burned' I mean turned to coal!

Original contemporary Japanese food located in Phoenix downtown. Dishes and flavor are unique. A little bit pricy but it is a highly recommended place.

Delicious food. Staff was super attentive. Interesting drink selection as well. Great experience overall!

Bakery
Arai Pastry is a low-key Japanese/French bakery and cafe located in Tempe, next to the Fujiya Japanese Market. Specializing in French-style Japanese pastries, Arai offers a variety of sweets, sandwiches, and intricately decorated custom cakes. Their menu features light-as-air cakes, creamy mousses, and delicate custards with flavors like Japanese green tea, sweet red beans, sesame, and pumpkin. Customers highly recommend their desserts and custom cakes for special occasions.
This place makes by far the BEST Japanese pastries and sweets you can get!! I've been to many Japanese style bakeries, but this by far takes the cake (pun intended). I get my birthday cake here almost every year. The cakes are light, sweet, and fluffy. I love their cakes because they're all sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet like most. The flan and strawberry cake are my favorites! However everything they make is absolutely amazing!! I just wish they were closer to where I lived. Then again, if they did, I'd be eating way too much cake, lol!! Anyways, visiting this place is a must!!!

Cozy bakery, I liked the sweet red bean bread a lot. I also got the cream bread & white bread, very soft and fresh! Friendly service, would recommend!

We got a slice of strawberry cake for my birthday here. Very very good! The cake is soft and fluffy but not too sweet! Highly recommend! 🍰

I walked into this place and the smell was absolutely amazing. I bought a cream pan and a raisin loaf the total was like $9 which I felt was very reasonable. They were both delicious and fresh! I will definitely be coming back here and everyone should check it out!

Small bakery but the goods are delicious and very Japanese. The goods are not overloaded with sweetness but have a delicate flavor. I’d consider catering a cake for my next special event.

Very low-key Japanese bakery. I had a custard filled pan that was so delicious. The bread was so light and the custard was not too sweet. I am a huge fan after one visit, and look forward to going again.

The is probably the best bakery I have been to in Arizona. Their cake is light and flavorful and frosting delicate and airy, but still sweet. Their food options aside from cake are equally delicious and I recommend you try everything they offer.

The best milk bread in Arizona, no doubt! I love the butter rich bread, the curry pan, the Earl Gray cake, and chocolate cornets! A must stop if you're already at fujiya

Restaurant
Rancho Pinot is a relaxed restaurant with cowboy-chic decor, offering high-end seasonal American fare. Chef Chrysa Kaufman celebrates comfort food using seasonal regional ingredients in the contemporary bistro-style American cuisine menu. The restaurant balances rustic elegance with refined technique, featuring dishes like Nonnis Sunday Chicken and Hand-Made Pasta. Opened nearly 25 years ago by Chrysa Robertson, Rancho Pinot remains fresh and relevant with its California- and Italian-influenced classics.
Rancho Pinot deserves more than five stars. Every element from the service to food exceeds your expectations. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming from the moment you sit down. They make amazing suggestions not based only off of what is popular but what they personally would pick. The food itself was fantastic from the salads to the lamb fully exceeding your highest expectation. We will definitely be coming back again and making sure we save room for the dessert.

The main courses are amaaaaazing! The fettuccine and Sunday chicken are particularly tasty (see photos). We had to take a few moments of silence to give thanks for the many layers of flavor. Appetizer we tried, duck pate, seemed a little haphazard with many random ingredients (pickled cinnamon cherries 🧐). The pecan square dessert was decent but nothing special; dessert menu seems to be a bit of an after thought. Service is quite good, but could use a little more warmth (and a bit more tact in clearing plates). The servers do clearly take pride in where they work and the chef, which is always good to see. Wine by the glass selections are excellent and fairly priced. ($11 for high quality Chardonnay from burgundy!)

Always an awesome dining experience with the most creative nuances in the dishes. Great people serving the best food and wine! Not so sure about the reliability of the new Tock reservation system. We'll have to see about that over time.

Very inspiring food experience! I observed nothing short of a top tier level of passion put into sourcing ingredients and creating the menu. Delicious cocktails and calibrated wine pairing options to boot. Also received top notch service from Tony throughout our dinner and really appreciated his recommendations and contribution to our experience.

We love Rancho Pinot! My husband and I travel to Scottsdale every couple of years and this is our "go to". Charming atmosphere, amazing food, impeccable service. Don't go for the "franchised same old thing". Explore creative genius with small business love of the customer. Thanks again for another amazing meal!

Always amazing. Had the linguini special (lobster and local pink mushrooms) which was awesome. Men had flat iron steak, equally awesome. Friend had gnochi which she loved. Local date cake for dessert. Great service and wine. One of the best places to eat in Phoenix.

Absolutely wonderful. Friendly , attentive staff and delicious food. The sea bass was so scrumptious. Left very satisfied and will definitely make this a regular go to spot. This establishment has been around for 27+ years for a reason.
Alexandra M — Google review
I rate Rancho Pinot as 5 stars not as an example of exquisite culinary perfection, rather, as a truly extraordinary example of consistent delivery of high quality food, with great service, at very reasonable pricing. Every menu option is always right on the mark, without exception. When we hanker for good food in a relaxed, yet highly professional atmosphere, we head to R.P. Upon walking in the front door, we relax and let the chef/owner and her staff take over our evening. We are never disappointed.
