This is definitely a historic and iconic place, and I can see why so many people love it. The atmosphere is great, it really gives you that classic American vibe. As for the food, we liked it, but to be honest, I’d rate it 4 out of 5. French fries weren't our favorite. Also, they forgot one of the milkshakes we ordered, and we had to wait quite a while for it. It was finally brought out when we had already finished eating and were getting ready to leave.

A classic American diner with chili dishes and more. Juicy and tasty hot dogs, very good burgers and sandwiches. The fries are really good—I personally prefer them without cheese, as I think the cheese makes them a bit worse, but that’s just a matter of taste. If you want to dine in a typical tourist-style American diner, this is the right place for you. I had a burger with cheesy fries, then more fries and a hot dog. Everything was good, and the prices were fair! I would suggest improving the way order numbers are called out for dish delivery, since they are hard to hear because of the background noise and the loudspeaker. Also, I’d remove the fries served in the paper bag, which feel a bit underwhelming. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing experience for me! So much history in a landmark! The hot dog burst juice as soon as a put a fork in it! Delicious chili cheese fries and this homemade coconut cake with pineapple was SINFUL! The staff are so friendly, they make you feel right at home. Their original spot across the street is being remodeled, but there temporary space was just as amazing. You’ve won my heart, Ben’s Chili Bowl! I will be back! Cool merch as well. Not sure how I’m going to fit it!

A must stop in DC. Had a friendly greeting and was seated promptly. We were lucky it wasn't super busy, but there are 2 rooms of seating beyond the front counter entrance. Had chili, half-smoke chili dog, corn bread, and banana pudding. All were so delicious! Music they played was awesome too...it was a nice lunch!!

Great place with tons of history. It’s a great midnight snack. Definitely enjoyed the half smokes. We tried both the original and spicy and prefer the original. The onion rings were decent too but portions are too small.

The low rating is mainly due to the lackluster French fries and Ben's half smoke. The French fries were rather cold at some parts and the half smoke was mild. I felt like I was robbed. Could have gone to McDonald's and Costco and came out ahead and been fuller. The only highlight was the Oreo milkshake, which is absolutely delicious. Be forewarned that there are charges for additional things added to the fries. I had to remove cheese and few things to get it to the price point I wanted.

We ordered one Big Ben’s burger with fries, one side order of fries, one chocolate shake and a mocha latte. We paid $41. We visited the airport location. The burger is supposed to be steroid-free, non-frozen, but it tasted like any other reg burger. The fries were on the top worse fries as they tasted high in sodium and frozen. The shakes are made with cheap syrups. The mocha was one of the worse as well. We couldn’t finish the fries nor the shake. The lady who took our order was clearly sleep-deprived and not in a good mood. The overall experience wasn’t good and over priced for cheap food. Wouldn’t recommend spending your money at this place. Very disappointed.

Pho 75 has long been my go-to spot for a comforting, authentic bowl of pho in Arlington, and it never disappoints with their rich soup base. Service is efficient—perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Don’t expect chitchat, but do expect your order to arrive swiftly, even during busy hours. The prices are reasonable for the portions.

No frills authentic Vietnamese pho at a great price. After trying several pho restaurants in DC, this place wins the top spot easily. Cash only and you just go up to the cashier to pay after dining in (don’t expect a bill to be delivered to the table). You can also get to go containers from the register area (self service). This place gets busy at lunch time. Try to get in before 12:15pm.

First time coming here and it didn’t disappoint. The broth is really flavorful and the price for a large bowl is extremely reasonable. There were a lot of people when we entered the restaurant, but we were lucky to get a seat. Definitely would recommend! Parking may be hard to find during dinner hours.

Pho 75 is a no-frills, cash-only Vietnamese spot that delivers exactly what you’d hope for—solid, satisfying pho with a couple of options to choose from. The soup base was perfect: rich and flavorful without being oily or overly salty. There was a generous amount of tender beef slices, making the bowl feel hearty and well-balanced. Despite the crowd, service was impressively quick and efficient. The “regular” bowl was more than enough for me, though they do offer a “large” size if you’re extra hungry (the difference in size isn’t huge). It’s a straightforward, dependable place for a comforting bowl of pho that’s reasonably priced.

I've been many times and it never disappoints! The broth is so good, compared to other placed it is lighter but not lacking any flavor so I never have any leftovrer soup. Good prices, good portions, good soup.

Great spot for breakfast in my opinion. The prices are decent, but the service is slow due to the FRESH made to order food. This is not a fast food rush type spot. They are quick with some items but the more complex meal items they are making from scratch and you can taste it. Great to grab coffee and beignets or a biscuit sandwich.

This place is busy! Definitely order ahead. Breakfast sandwich was kind of small but perfectly proportioned. Think the bread type could’ve been more inspiring. Iced coffee worked its magic on me. Perfectly sweet but not too much. I’ll need to plan to go back to try their beignets and other treats.

A nice little corner brunch shop. Staff are polite and the food is delicious! Try their Louisiana style French beignets and biscuits! They are delicious! Coffee and hot chocolate are good as well!

Omg. I don't even know where to start. I've had beignets in New Orleans (Cafe Beignet) and the ones from Bayou Bakery definitely satisfied that craving!!! The mufaletta was everything I could ever want in a sandwich. It was piled high with quality meats, served on a delicious roll, with mayo and yummy olive tapenade. It was bursting with flavor, and definitely one of my new all-time fave hot sandwiches! I was torn between ordering this or the Arm Drip (roast beef Po Boy, looks similar to a French dip). I compromised and ordered the mufaletta with a side of the gravy that comes on the Arm Drip. (They don't actually have the option to order the gravy on the order online menu. I requested a side of gravy in the "notes" section (alone with extra mayo). It didn't occur to me that they have more than one type of gravy, ha! When I arrived to pick up my order, the lovely human who greeted me (Karla) asked me which kind of gravy I wanted, and was able to quickly add a small cup to my order for just $1. I dont expect much as far as customer service, because I know first-hand how rough it can be to work those jobs. You'd never know it based on my interaction with Karla. She was all smiles, extremely friendly and personable. It felt like having a conversation with a friend as opposed to a business transaction. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I cannot wait to return and try more items. I definitely want to dine-in sometimes as well. The seating is somewhat limited but its got a cute ambiance. I definitely need to try their baked goods sometime. Oh! They sell yesterdays leftover baked goods for $2! How fun! Love that, because not only do you get a good deal with the "old" pastries, you know everything else is freshly baked that day! You can tell a lot of love is poured into this place, and the staff seem happy, so not only is it good for my taste buds, it's a place I am happy to support. Do yourself a favor and go try them asap! ​ What my stars mean: 5 is outstanding, memorable, a place to write home about! A must-experience. Someplace I would love to reccomend to tourists, and visit myself again and again. 4 is great, somewhere I'd love to return again and again. Back-up reccomenation for tourists. 3 is good. A solid option if I am in the area. This place is too small. The line wrapped through the cafe and made moving about difficult especially with the extra tables they have. We got a breakfast sandwich with ham and egg on a roll, a sandwich with sausage and egg on a biscuit and a seasonal scone (chocolate cherry). The roll sandwich was good but it was also the size of a slider, which made the price seem outrageous. The biscuit was a typical biscuit breakfast sandwich, we should have gotten some cheese as the biscuit was a bit dry. The scone was like the person that made the filling burnt everything.

My wife didn't love the flavor of her latte (but everybody has different taste preferences). The muffins and scones were enjoyed by all in my family. Service was good! Would definitely come back on next visit.

One of our favorite spots for late weekend breakfasts. Biscuit breakfast sandwich with bacon is tasty, biscuits and gravy are savory, and the "Hungover Hog" is a filling and delicious meal. My fave coffee is the lavender honey latte. And the beignets? Oh my God THE BEIGNETS. All warm and fluffy and generously dusted with sugar. So, so good. Love the vibe, and the staff is always efficient yet friendly. Keep it up, y'all!

Great pizza , service , and atmosphere. Even if you show up a few mins before the kitchen closes they will still serve you with a smile 😁 as you take your food to-go. Pizza was great! Thin crust. Not too doughy.

Stellina serves up some of the best Neapolitan style pizza in DC. My wife and I came in for an early dinner (~5pm) on Saturday evening. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately. We initially requested to sit outside, but mosquitos became an issue. The staff was super accommodating and quickly moved us inside to the side bar without any fuss, which we appreciated. The interior space was clean and well decorated evoking an Italian charm that made dinner more of an experience than just a meal. Noise level was also perfect, and it was easy to have a conversation even during dinner hours. We ordered the Ave Cesare (7/10), Cacio e Pepe pasta (7.5/10), and the Piccante pizza without the 'nduja jam (9/10). The pizza is the clear standout if you favor Neapolitan style—thin, soft, and chewy crust with a slightly charred edge. I'd return just for that. The pasta was solid but not particularly memorable. The Caesar was decent, though the croutons felt more like scattered crumbs than crunchy bites; that’s more of a personal preference than a critique. I've had better pasta and Caesar salads elsewhere in DC. Portions were fair for the price, and the total for two came to around $75 including tip. We would 100% go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for good pizza in the DMV. We look forward to trying more of the menu next time.

I was in DC and excited to try Stellina after all the buzz. The restaurant itself is great; the ambiance is buzzing and our server was fantastic. The food was good, and while I enjoyed my meal, it didn't quite live up to the spectacular reputation. Still, a solid spot for a night out.

We wanted to do grocery shopping at nearby Trader Joe and ended up at Stellina because it’s Michelin and why not try instead of cooking. It was the best decision we made that evening. The pizza was absolutely amazing 🔥. No wonder my wife devour the crust while she does not always do 😂

i waited 35 minutes for my small subpar expensive eggplant parm. i was really excited for this menu item, especially because the bartender told me it was “dense and filling.” i should’ve spent the money on a pizza. attaching a photo of the small eggplant parm. really disappointed it took 35+ minutes when the restaurant was not busy. when we asked the bartender where my food was, he was not receptive and sort of rude… not happy with my experience at stellina tonight. hoping they improve service so i don’t waste my money next time: there is 25 dollars down the drain and im still hungry.

The pizza here is incredible—especially the Margherita and the speck and Gorgonzola white pizza, which are personal favorites. I’ve been back many times, always for the pizza, and the quality never disappoints. The bombolini are a great treat too (if you have a sweet tooth), and the staff is always friendly.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants for a casual dinner and glass of wine, and last night affirmed that standing. Our family of 6 (including kids) enjoyed a range of appetizers, salads, pizzas, and pasta entrees. Our server was fantastic, and the food was delicious and hot. We will be back again. We appreciated the half-price bottle of Italian wine, too!

Food tasted fine... But it was kind of tough to get unstuck from the paper... Also, very greasy on the hands. Order from a kiosk, not from a person. Waited a good ten minutes though nobody else was there in person and it didn't appear they were busy with pickup orders. Chips were store-bought corn chips, it seemed? Cheese sauce was tasty as was the salsa. It was a DC 6 or 7 but a Hillsboro, Oregon 4, if you know what I mean. If you're in DC it might be worth a try.

Suuuuper small dining area and majority of people there were getting their food to go. All chairs were taken and the wait time on the food was atrocious. Buuut the ladies cooking behind the kitchen gave us tortilla chips and did apologize. That said, the burrito I got was fantastic, I really enjoyed it including the fact that you can build your own. I would not recommend this place for dine in but for take out yes.

I just wanted to share what an amazing experience I had at your 1309 F Street, NWDC location! The customer service from Carlos Moreno and his team was absolutely top tier. I was feeding a group of 20 teenage boys visiting from the United Kingdom and stopped by beforehand to get some guidance on what to order. Carlos couldn’t have been more helpful — he walked me through all the options, made great suggestions, and even gave me his number in case I needed anything else. When I arrived to pick up the order, everything was perfectly on time. Carlos even offered to carry the food out to my car — and though I happened to find a spot right out front, he brought it out anyway with a big smile. And the food? A huge hit! The boys told me they don’t have barbacoa in the UK and said it was absolutely delicious. Please pass along my thanks to Carlos and his amazing team — they went above and beyond, and it made such a difference. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

I went to downtown Washington and decided to have lunch there. I chose a custom salad with rice, tomatoes, chicken, greens, and beans, all topped with a spicy — really spicy — sauce! It was absolutely delicious. This place is perfect for a healthy meal in a calm setting at a reasonable price. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Thank you for the great experience!

This place is fast, clean and affordable. The fish tacos were a mess and I take that as a sign of good food. The Queso dip is also delicious.

This is based on my online orders. I got their breakfast tacos, the 3 customizable tacos, and a bowl in two separate instances. Both times, it was the most fulfilling lunch I’ve had in a long time. They absolutely LOADED the tacos, like there was so much I had to eat the toppings that dropped out with a spoon, which I absolutely love. The tortillas were nice and soft, the proteins excellently seasoned. The bowl was great, but I do wish it came with a little more rice. Every time I’ve went in, my orders were ready for me. Definitely a repeat lunch spot for me.

I enjoy this location. While I visit other locations this one is sort of a home base from when I worked in this area. The service is always great and the food is always made with attention to detail/dietary preferences. They take care of my order everytime

What a cool spot! So much character and many options for food, shops, and experiences! A gem in DC, IMO. Lots of motivational art, so if you’re in the need of an artistic pep talk and so many different cuisines of food you might be craving, this is the place!

Union Market is a vibrant destination packed with diverse food vendors serving everything from casual meals to unique drinks and delicious desserts, all at reasonable prices. The fun extends beyond the market, especially with events like this weekend's "Race the District" go-karting in the parking lot. With its many surrounding wholesale stores, the whole area is full of interesting things to explore.

I tried Fishwife and got the Invasive Fish Sando. This is also the first time I have been at this market. The blue catfish was deep fried light yet with a lot of crispness. It was definitely worth the purchase because it didn't feel heavy in the stomach. The wait time was about 10-15 minutes because they were quite a number of people, but the employees were patient and considerate as they made sure that each customer got their order by double checking and had good attitude! I would definitely come visit again!

Something for everyone can be found here. Great food and culture combine for this large indoor market. A large variety of different entrees, prepared food, market fresh items or sundries. A must visit if you're in DC. Kids friendly. Prices are reasonable. I'll stop by anytime I'm in the area.

Union market stands as one of the best food markets DC has to offer. Only competition I believe is Eastern market. Union offers a vibrant array of food and drinks and events. The video is from an Asian festival they held on the roof where local DC restaurants popped up stalls to offer their cuisine. Plethora of outdoor and indoor seating. Great for grabbing a bite for lunch, grabbing some fresh meat or fish, or an evening out with friends. It's an area I find myself coming back to again and again.

Delicious Neapolitan style pizzas here, the wine collection is great. I tried the truffle mushroom pizza, mozzarella balls, garlic bread which was amazing! The tiramisu dessert was definitely a must try here. The outdoor vibes and service is fantastic! Nice quiet neighbourhood spot gem. 💎 I would recommend this place to everyone.🌱

We loved the lunch we had at Pupatella today. From the outside, it's just an unpretentious little pizza shop in a small shopping plaza. Inside, there were tables in two small rooms. We sat in the room away from the pizza ovens. Pizzas are individual size but a very generous individual portion. Best of all, they are amazingly good. We also tried the cheese ball appetizer and Caprese salad. Both were excellent. In addition to pizza, we had a meatball panini and eggplant parmigiana at our table. The eggplant was the most outstanding. We didn't expect much when we walked in and walked out lovng this place. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Decided to try this location to dine in. The food and service was great however the A/C seemed to not be working properly. Place felt like an oven. It was so hot our cokes got hot. Other than that all was great. Would probably recommend take out until the AC is repaired.

An authentic Napoleon pizza spot that offers beef pepperoni/ 8 different proteins and 9 different types of cheeses you can make your own pizza with. Friendly and patient service.

I mean, look at this pizza and look at this salad. Super delicious fantastic even better sharing it with the most beautiful sight of the falling rain and fantastic music that anybody could ever ask for. The place was very busy. We were seated outdoor around back. It was very nice atmosphere. It was like sitting in someone’s backyard and enjoyed an evening together. We got some salad, pizza, and calzone. We also got some beer and white sangria. The calzone was very big. One order could feed two people. Garlic bread with cheese was also good appetizer. All good and drink were good. The service was great. We had a great time.

Great food and surprisingly no wait time for a table. Staff was very friendly, especially the host. The food was amazing and so delicious. We were a group of four, ordered zucchini sticks for an app and then 3 pizzas and a pasta bowl. Definitely can order 2 pizzas for 3 people. All in all a great experience. The only downside was the waiter never came to offer refills or more drinks. That for me is a big factor in quality of service. The food was great!

You will always be comparing flavors in the US, but let me tell you sth, this place provides the best burguer taste and fries portion ever.

This location is kind of far from the hotels but it's walkable about 10 minutes depending on what hotel you stay at. The inside clean and the staff members are not overly friendly but they have good customer service. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the fries were overly salty and overcooked. But I got a hamburger and hot dog and they're both delicious.

We were visiting Washington, DC, and decided to stop at this Five Guys. As always, the burgers were tasty and up to the usual standard. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the condition of the restaurant and the staff’s attitude. The dining area was noticeably dirty, and the employees were so rude that we felt uncomfortable just being there. It almost seemed like serving us was a burden rather than their job. There were only two parties in the restaurant—us and one other customer—so it wasn’t a matter of being busy. I was polite when speaking with the staff, but it made no difference. To make matters worse, when I asked for the restroom code (which should have been printed on my receipt but wasn’t), the staff member acted annoyed, as if I was out of line for even asking. Overall, the food was good, but the service and cleanliness at this location were very disappointing.

Good burgers. I had the bacon cheese dog. It was okay. I would not try it again. My wife and kids had burgers. Everyone said their burgers were good. Their fries are amazing. A large is huge! We tried to save a little on drinks. The water cups are laughable. It's hot outside. It's really no different than David's burgers. Nothing to bring me back.

This place was dirty and the service was rude and dismissive. The food was good so if you like five guys and don’t mind being treated poorly and eating on dirty tables then this place is great. Was also in a convenient location.

While Five Guys is known for its fresh ingredients and generous portions, the presentation leaves something to be desired. Serving the burger wrapped only in aluminum foil doesn’t match the premium price point or overall experience one might expect. As for the burger itself, it was decent but overpowered by too much sauce and excessive salt, which destroys the flavor of the meat. A bit more balance in seasoning and presentation would go a long way.

Wow. Came for lunch at weekend. Not too busy. They have an all you can eat finding but we decided to order a la carte and were blown away by the fried pig feet. Seems like it’s braised as usual then fried Roth lots of aromatics. Very interesting and truly delicious days. Their fried duck rice was really well done. Shrimp and veg was good but not spectacular like the others. Lions head meatballs were also good but a little different. Will need to come for their AYCA dim sum!

This is my 3rd time eating from Peter Chang. Ordered for delivery. I ordered Combination Lo Mein (spicy level 1) and Chicken Fried Rice for dinner. Both my other half and I LOVED every bit of Lo Mein (even though it wasn't spicy) and Fried Rice. Peter Chang will be our #1 chinese place in the area!

Although it seems like quite a simple restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience here. There was no wait for a table, and we had good and attentive service. The food we ordered came in sizeable portions and everything was delicious, particularly the eggplant dish!

The food was a 4.5. It was pretty good but not perfect. The fish and lamb were very delicious but the cucumber was lacking in flavor. Pretty authentic Chinese food, coming back again 👍

2025 update: our favorite comfort food in the DMV. Great portions and great flavors. Don't miss it! Ever since I went to China and fell in love with (authentic) Chinese cuisine, I've been looking for a place that has comparable food. This is it for the Northern Virginia/DC area, I think! We ordered a handful of appetizers and dishes and every single one was delicious. From the spice levels to the Sichuan numbing powder to the deep, rich, authentic Chinese flavors and spices, I'll absolutely be coming back (probably more than I should, if I'm being honest). Portion sizes are excellent - you get twice as much food for a $20 plate than you would at any place in DC for the same price. Amazing experience! Staff was also very friendly and kind. While it may not have the greatest atmosphere or particularly special service, Peter Chang always serves up quality dishes at a favorable price point; the restaurant is clean, and, while a bit plain, still lends to a nice environment to eat at. The fried eggplant were crispy and delicious; the flavor of eggplant itself was very subtle, so even those who aren't fans of eggplant can like the dish; 5/5. The scallion pancakes were fantastic - and definitely not to be confused with Korean pajeon. They were massive, fluffy, thin and crispy breads, delicious enough to be devoured on their own, but especially so with the curry sauce served alongside it; 5/5. The bamboo flounder had soft, melty flesh with a nice crispy exterior; 5/5. We ordered a beef, shrimp, and shrimp/beef/chicken fried rice, which were all of equal quality - the only gripe was that they were all a little too salty; 4/5. The crazy beef ghost chili was flavorful, but pretty terrifyingly spicy - definitely not for those with low tolerance to heat. Even for me, it was a bit much, but that should be expected considering the name; 3/5. The vegetable spring rolls were plain; nothing outstanding, nothing terrible. 3/5. The golden mountain chicken had a good balance of sweet and sour, but it's too hard to eat a lot of it - just a personal preference thing; 3/5. This place is amazing. It has an ugly outward appearance and ugly chairs but their food... makes up for their not so aesthetically pleasing location and furniture. All their food is sooo good!!! That deep fried bread is magical. That spicy beef appetizer is also out of this world. Fried Eggplant is unbelievable, the spices are so yummy. The Grandma's noodles are sooo tasty too!! Great job guys we love you!! As of today May 7th the renovated their place!! And their food is amazing!!

I was craving Asian food so decided to try this place. It's located in the bustling neighborhood of Clarendon, one block from the metro station. I went for lunch on a Sunday; it wasn't busy & I received my food right away. I ordered a pork rice dish & egg rolls. The portion was sizeable, & the flavors were on point. I'd return for the same dish. Restroom was clean.

Great prices for portions and super delicious! Our family had the pork and chicken banh mi and the bread was so soft with a nice crust on the outside. We also had the beef pho and the lemongrass chicken.

Love this place. Food is delicious and very consistent. The R7, fried fish over rice, is some of the best fish anywhere. I also get the Bahn Mi and crispy spring rolls on the regular. The baguette they use is unbeatable, so good.

This is a cozy Vietnamese restaurant in the Clarendon/Ballston area. It’s a busy part of the city so one may have to hunt around for parking, but there is ample street and paid parking around the area. The restaurant offers street side dining (when weather permits). You need to go to the counter and order. They give you a number and will also generally give you your drink. I ordered their cold Thai tea and it was excellent. They have a wide variety of choices with very reasonable prices and generous portions. Their vegetable spring roll appetizers were enough to be an entree. I ordered the tofu, veggie bowl. Very tasty and healthy. Took me a while to go thru it but enjoyed every bite. The wait staff is very courteous and even though we went at their busiest time during lunch, we were served in less than 5 minutes. I noticed there were several regulars, probably working in the neighborhood, who were simply ordering with the menu codes. There were also quite a few take out customers who were given a separate area to sit in. Based on my limited time there I did get the sense that they prioritized dine in over take outs, though it was counter intuitive. Since one paid at the counter for dine in also, there is no expectation of gratuity. Overall a very satisfying experience. Highly recommend!

It’s a cute place with a small area for outdoor seating. I ordered take out and it was ready on time. Their menu has a good variety between pho, wraps and noodle and rice dishes. I ordered pork vermicelli with a side order of spring rolls. The vermicelli was good. The meat had plenty of flavor. The spring rolls are very large and the taste is just okay. The prices are very reasonable.

I was so excited to try out this location because I loved the one in Mosaic district. I was soo disappointed. The vermicelli bowl had no flavor at all and the fried spring rolls were soo greasy and old tasting. I saw other tables leave whole spring rolls to waste and knew I made a mistake ordering them too. Don’t waste your time here!

CARRY-OUT/DELIVERY REVIEW. Ordered some items for lunch through Door Dash! Enjoyed the Bún Tôm Thịt Nướng (grilled shrimp and pork with vermicelli) and Cơm Gà Nướng Xả (grilled lemongrass chicken with rice)—reasonable portions with good amounts of meat! I asked for extra nước mắm (fish sauce) and they made sure to have plenty—but their nước mắm was a bit on the bland side. Also tried the Chả Giò (pork spring rolls)—they were okay, the fried wrapping was a bit thick.

This is the most authentic Sichuan style cuisine I’ve ever tried , love the atmosphere and service there . I would 100 % recommend their dry pot and of course other dishes as well . They also have a combo hot pot option which comes with one individual pot . Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍

We really enjoyed our time, the staffs were friendly, good amount of people came in. & good vibes. Loved that they had a diy sauce bar for the hot pot. Really enjoyed the idea of single pot since usually we are more used to the unlimited versions of hot pot but this was a perfect one person serving. I thought I wouldn’t be full from it but man with rice and all the other goods. It was perfect match. My favorite sauce is- oyster sauce, peanut sauce, seasmi paste , soysauce , sesami oil, garlic. Delicious, and a great experience for a family or group. We love the hot pot and order it every time, but also highly recommend the minced chicken bao. Lots of options for vegetarians, vegans and folks who don’t like spicy food too. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Very nice and soothing atmosphere. Great music. I love bringing my daughter here on dates it’s her favorite noodle place! Wide variety of dishes and styles hot pot and dry pot, quick and lovely servers.

Mala Tang has become one of my go-to spots whenever I want something comforting and full of flavor. Their other Sichuan dishes are just as delicious — full of authentic, bold flavors that remind me of home. Every time I eat here, I feel welcomed and taken care of. If you’re looking for a place that authentic, and a little different from the usual, I can’t recommend Mala Tang enough!

I wasn’t used to the menu style and the pricing. The waiter here explained it to me so I decided to try it. I’m pleasantly surprised. It was really authentic and tasty dry pot. I just wish the pricing could allow for more diversity in what I order but nevertheless, love the food.

The Falafel Sandwich and Falafel Rice Bowl are absolutely extraordinary — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sauces complement the dishes beautifully, adding that authentic Mediterranean touch. The staff are humble, welcoming, and always smiling, which really enhances the overall experience. The space is limited, but it’s perfect for a quick bite or takeaway. Parking can be a bit challenging on these busy streets, but honestly, the food makes it worth every minute spent finding a spot! Absolutely blown over by the service, food and the freshness of everything. So authentic and a breath of fresh air after having had a few bad experiences from the Washington DC foodcarts. I will definitely come back and cannot recommend their famous falafal bowl more and that's from a meat eater. We ordered a chicken bowl which was delicious but the falafals were the best I have ever had. Highly recommend. Thank you so much! 💕

There was no room to dine in, nor seats (only three tables). I asked for falafel and they served me chicken. However, the bowl and the quantity were good for the price!

Wow. I am so impressed. Food was amazingly delicious for an unbeatable price! 💰 I got the chicken shawarma bowl and it filled me up perfectly. I could’ve probably had leftovers for a different meal but ended up eating it all. Service was speedy and staff was friendly. Seating is almost non-existent, tables are more cocktail style setup. Once the food is ready they give you the bowl - there’s a self serve area to get paper bags, napkins, extra sauces and utensils (forks). Definitely stop by here if you’re looking for a quick delicious and savory bite of food in Georgetown! 👏🏼 (I got the garlic, habibi and green sauce). Green sauce is ~medium spiciness. Garlic sauce was my favorite.

The Zaatar fries were SO tasty, especially with the variety of dips/sauces they provide. The hummus was incredible and the meat shawarma pita sandwich was wonderful - we can't believe it wasn't meat! Thank you to the employees who were customer-service oriented. The price point was amazing (all except the water, which costs the same as a giant order of fries!). I gave the atmosphere 3 stars only because it's standing room only- no tables to sit down at.

The One Loudon location ( I've now been twice) has delicious Chicken Schwarma with tasty garlic sauce, fresh pickles, the Zaatar Fries are plentiful are good. The hummus is also delicious with fresh olive oil. Victoria the manager and her staff are friendly and were very helpful to me ( who is disabled with multiple foot issues) as they opened doors for me, and were generally a great help!

Decent little hole in the wall empanada shop. They have a wide variety of sweet and savory empanadas to choose from. I got the chicken, potato, and pea one and it was pretty good. I thought it could have used a bit more flavor though. I did really enjoy the dough crust that it was in.

I tried one of their three best-selling empanadas (the Chilean: ground beef, hard-boiled egg, olives and raisins) and was disappointed. While the crust was decent and not doughy, the filling was bland. And at $8 (tax included), it seemed overpriced.

Tried the chicken salteña and Jamaican empanada - and both were disappointing. They were very dry inside and outside. Salteñas should be a mix of sweet and savory and this one was neither sweet nor savory. Very overpriced ($7.30 each!) for what it is. We went on a Sunday around noon… maybe that has something to do with it. Unfortunately they just weren’t good

The flavors are very different. I went for Chipotle, Jamaican, and Apple. They were delicious for fast food. I would go back and get another. I think the place can be a little cleaner, and better in the details of the place.

I got like 7 empanadas. Empanada dough has perfect thickness and holds in the moist filling. Everything, including the vegetarian option, is delicious. No restroom or stools and the juices jave 67-79g of sugar - NO BUENO

I come to DC a couple of times a year on business and stay at a hotel within walking distance of Julia's. I make it my business to get there at least twice per visit. Don't let the tiny, unassuming, kinda dark, rather bare-bones storefront appearance fool you. While it might not look like anything to write home about, the empanadas will make you want to shout from the rooftops. I can really only speak on the sweet ones as I had a savory one just once. (It was the chicken, and it was quite good, large, and generously filled.) However, the fruit-filled ones are amazing! The pastry is a beautiful deep golden with a good helping of filling. It is sturdy enough to stand up to the weight of the fruit-filling but not chewy or doughy. It is a perfect hand pie! My hands-down favorite is the strawberry and cream. It is not to be missed, and the apple is a close second. There is no real ambiance, but the service is fast and friendly in this right-priced gem, and if you walk in without the money necessary for this cash-only purchase, they've got you covered with an in-store ATM. To avoid the $3.00 fee, I advise a stop-in for a withdrawal at your own banking institution first. My only wish is that I could experience them warm from the oven---or even warmed up. That is the drawback of stumbling upon such a great find while traveling & and staying at a hotel. Regardless of that, whatever you do, don't skip Julia's!

Very pretty looking pastries, but mostly empty and WAY overpriced. It was about 8pm. I got a pear almond pastry. There was almost no filling. Tasted kind of like almond extract but it was mostly dried up pastry dough. For $3 + tip, I was not impressed at all. I threw most of it away because I’m already fat and I don’t need to waste my daily calories on plain dough. Sorry, Julia. Maybe it was just an off day or something but I’ve had better empanadas at Taco Bell, for $1.

Fantastic rockin grocery store with Italian imported goods and a tasty sub shop in the back that serves both hot and cold subs. Equally as tasty as each other. It’s up to what you’re feeling that day. Chicken parm/fresh turkey sandwich. Don’t do mikes way do Litteri way!

Hands down one of the best chicken parm subs we’ve ever had. $17 for a 12” sub so was very reasonably priced as well. I loved that they had sheets to write your order down and hand to them so no mistaken what you wanted and super efficient. If we didn’t take public transportation we probably would’ve bought more. But we settled for the subs and two slices of cake and some vanilla pizzelle cookies. Two subs fed me and the hubby and our two small kids. We saved the third and split it for a dinner snack when we got home. You can tell this an authentic real deal shop and you won’t regret eating here. This is one of two of the only places we picked to go to go out to eat at while in DC and it was well worth the trip over. Even though it was out the way for what we were doing in DC I would go there again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY recommend stopping here for some food or shopping. The sauce on our sandwiches is like none other than we’ve ever tasted and we loved it. There is a bench across the street which we sat at to eat. Stop and eat here. You won’t regret it.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian grocery in the DC area, this is the place. They have the hard to find items that you’d otherwise have to drive to Baltimore and points north to get. A great selection of olive oils (I prefer Partanna and they have it in several sizes including the big tin). Fantastic wines separated by region making selection easy, including two shelves of beautiful Brunello. Housemade sausage. Hogs casings if you like to make your own. Amazing selection of Italian cheeses (and other European cheeses), bufala, scamorza, and many others. The cold cuts and cured meats selection is fantastic and hard to believe I could get some of these outside of NY. Italian sodas, sfogliatelle (frozen from Napoli!), DOP San Marzanos, stop me now! Thank you A Litteri! I’m soo glad I found you!!

The service is always friendly and fast, and you can tell they really care about the food and the customers. The sandwiches are always fresh, perfectly made, and just hit the spot. A. Litteri is a charming spot for Italian groceries and sandwiches. The meats and cheeses are high quality, and their sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, and generously sized. It’s casual and welcoming — a great place to grab a quick, satisfying bite or pick up some specialty items.

Was referred to them by an Italian client many years ago to get their fresh sausage. Been a customer since and over 20 years. Plus they have an amazing selection of other products you won't find elsewhere.

I came here on a random weeknight looking for decent food at a reasonable price. I was wrong on one end. Galaxy Hut was delicious yet reasonably priced. The atmosphere inside was dark yet intimately cozy. It felt a bit like your neighborhood bar/pub, as if you're suddenly transported to a small town in the Northeast. The staff were both friendly and informative on the selections. While they do take the 21+ restriction seriously, for those above that age, one can feel a bit like a kid again without the pressure of the outside world. After perusing the menu for a bit, I ended up with a Swedish Canadian sandwich and a side of Eggplant fries. The Swedish Canadian was surprisingly filling, yet felt light. I appreciated the meat-like texture of the meatballs, and the flavor was not overpowering. The vegan cheese had a fullness to it that reminded me a lot of fondue cheeses, but without the heaviness. Top that with the gravy, and it was both filling and comforting. As for the fries, they were delightfully soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It was a surprising amount, given the price point. I actually expected a bit less. All in all, without drinks you can expect to pay around $20 per person for a solid meal. Although, their drink menu was quite extensive on both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic sections. If you're in the area, or you can't stand the blandness of DC, or need a solid quick bite at a reasonable price, please come check Galaxy Hut out. It's worth it.

Just a short walk from the Clarendon metro stop is an incredibly unique bar with the most personable bar tender. I absolutely adore the nostalgic VHS collection and they always have a classic video playing- it gives us non-drinkers/designated drivers some way to feel included in the ambiance 🤍 The art decor, simplicity and mood lighting puts you at ease and is a great place to vibe. It's cozy and not too overwhelming. This is also a great spot for vegetarians as most of the menu is vegetarian friendly! Highly recommend!

Galaxy Hut is my happy place. The food is amazing. My favorites are the build-your-own grilled cheese and the totchos (think tater tots with nacho toppings). The vibe is dive-y with Pac-Man tables, a TV above the bar that plays old VHS movies, and weird artwork on the walls.

This place has best vegan bar food I’ve ever tasted. I love the different varieties of beer with the cool crazy names. I’ve been here 7 times since I moved to Arlington. LOVE IT HERE! They also play old movies which is pretty fun!

Okay if I’m being honest I wish they served more than just beer….BUT regardless the vibe is perfect and the beer selection they do have is great. Also the all vegan menu is appreciated if you have dietary restrictions. One of my favorite bars in Arlington.

Second time here, the same guys running the place as the first time we came. Joe and Nate are awesome, took some food orders close to the kitchen closing for us even though we were pushing it a bit. Food is fantastic, great beer list as well. Cannot recommend more as a great little spot in Arlington for food and drinks!

Very good bar/vegan food. Prices seem all over with place, with some items overpriced and some quite cheap. Example: burger for $16, but a generous plate of eggplant fries + dipping sauces for $3. In total, it was about $30 for a burger, fries and a beer for one person. Maybe I’m just not used to DC prices, but it felt expensive. Good vegan food, though, and fast, friendly service.

I can’t recommend the Italian Store highly enough! Whether you want Italian sweets, a great cup of coffee, pizza, wine, or anything else even remotely Italian—this is the spot. I want to give an extra shoutout to Dylan, who has given me several excellent wine recommendations. I look forward to my next visit!

It took my entire lifetime to find this place. My family and I, being Italian, are incredibly picky with Italian food. This place is a treasure. It has the ambiance of a New York deli crossed with a petite wine shop you'd find across the water. A great place to take the family for authentic Italian grocery and prepared foods. 10/10 all around except for indoor seating.

Spent 160.00 on two Rustica Easter pies and two Pastiera Easter pies, horrible. The inside of the pies measures 1 inch in depth. Flavor of the Rustic tasted just ok. These are 8 inch pies. Too small for the large price tag, this wouldn't fly in NY or Boston. Never again.

The best coffee I’ve had in the US and the croissants are quite good. Such a European vibe for breakfast. And the prices are good (for the US).

The refrigerator also had frozen pastas and specialty drinks which I regret not grabbing! They were having a wine tasting when I was there, and walked away with a delicious dessert wine. 👌 In the back there is make to order food and pizza. Half my family is 100% Italian from Sulmona, Italy. Been telling them about The Italian Store here in Virginia. Last week I cooked my father homemade pasta and sauce I got from this store - Carfagna's original family pasta sauce. After he returned home, I got a text he ordered a box of it saying "It's the best sauce I've ever had other than our Nunnie's family recipe : )" This place is the real deal.

Delicious food!! We all loved our dishes and drinks. I ordered the Sangria and Chicken Marsala Fettuccine, and it was absolutely divine. The atmosphere was very nice, a little bit loud because of the bar. The service was nice, a little slow to get our check and boxes but the food and drinks came out timely. Overall a great dinner.

Great place to pop into for dinner. Local sourced food. American Cuisine. Two bars inside. I highly recommend the catfish and crab lump cake. The side salad vinaigrette dressing is very light and tasty. Quickly seated and service was attentive. I would recommend Clyde's for nice dinner meal.

We had such a lovely meal at Clyde’s in Georgetown! The atmosphere feels classic and cozy with that old-school charm — perfect for a relaxed lunch date. I ordered the steak frites, which came perfectly cooked with a creamy mustard sauce and crispy golden fries — absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger, and he loved it! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail (super fresh and sweet) and finished with an espresso and a slice of cheesecake topped with cherries — the perfect ending to the meal. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out beautifully presented. Overall, Clyde’s is a great spot for classic American comfort food with a touch of elegance. We’d definitely come back!

Service was great. Were seated right away and the table was in the back, so less noisy (as some said this restaurant can get). Oktoberfest beer was good. Steak was good, and so was salmon salad. I had parmesan trout, which was okay. Will try the burger next time.

Beautiful spot but unfortunately food and service was not up to par. My friend and I ordered Calamari, Caesar salads and Chicken Marsala Pasta. The Calamari and Caesar salad were good but the Pasta was not the best. It was extremely bitter and tasted almost rotten. We tried to find our waitress for a while but we couldn’t find her. The manager was nice and helpful with the pasta but we felt a little alienated after complaining about the dish. I appreciate the atmosphere but I definitely would never go back here again.

Clyde’s is an American staple we always take friends and family to when they’re visiting. The Clyde’s Classic Burger, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, and Crab & Artichoke Dip are absolutely divine — a must-try every time. The drinks are strong and the atmosphere is always fun!

We were 10 min late for my reservation but they seated us straight away. I had Salmon which had a nice crispy top that was amazing. The crab cakes are a must. It is noisy on a Saturday night but still great food.

Came here for a date night and had a great time. The restaurant is in a great location in old town Alexandria, VA. There is street parking as well as garages near. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors upstairs at a table by the windows. It was a nice comfortable feel. We had a nice view of the park/water area below. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and the service was good. Our food and drinks came out quickly and everything was fresh and tasty. Also we came for an anniversary and the restaurant gave us a complimentary drink on them. That was unexpected but appreciated. There was plenty of options for food and drinks everyone can find something here. Overall id definitely recommend checking this spot out. Its definitely one we will come back to.

The meals we had - Rockfish and Shortribs - were the best we’ve ever had!! AMAZING! Not little meals - no - real meals and simply perfect!! We had the yummy drink special of the week and Clay (our server and new friend) knew more about bourbon selections -than the 6 of us will ever forget. The service - from initially taking drink and appetizer orders through dinner and after dinner drinks- was exemplary!! There seemed to be a team of bar, food and cooking staff that worked together as a family!! Located in the charming Old Town Alexandria, Virtue Feed and Grain offers a delightful dining experience that captures the essence of the area. The atmosphere is wonderful, we sat outside on a gorgeous August evening. It’s the kind of place where you can easily settle in and enjoy a long, leisurely meal. The drink selection is impressive, featuring a variety of creative cocktails and a well-curated wine list. Each sip was enjoyable, and the drinks complemented the meal nicely. While the ambiance and drinks set a high bar, the food, unfortunately, didn’t quite reach the same level of excellence. Some dishes were flavorful but could have benefited from a bit more refinement. There were moments where the flavors didn’t fully come together, which was a bit disappointing given the overall quality of the restaurant. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort put into the atmosphere and drink offerings. I look forward to returning to Virtue Feed and Grain to see how they continue to evolve their menu. It’s definitely worth a visit for the delightful setting and good drinks!

Fantastic spot that gives off local vibes. We were able to get to the bar quickly but don't expect that to be the norm. Great food selection and the bourbon list is lengthy and well curated. Rotating cocktails keep things interesting and fresh.

We had an excellent dining experience at the upstairs bar with Mac. She was extremely knowledgeable on all of the bourbons, cocktails, and menu. She made us several delicious cocktails, and we tried many different bourbons. The brussels sprouts and scotch eggs are a must try. I think my favorite thing that we had was the scallop and shrimp chowder, I believe it was a special, but it was absolutely outstanding!

Food was fantastic, especially the mozzarella sticks. They have a good brunch menu. Nearby parking garage was much more expensive than necessary and place got packed after we arrived, so recommend getting there early.

This place is super cool. The restaurant is beautiful inside. The menu has a little of everything. We ordered the fish tacos and the fish and chips. They were both amazing and nice portions. Everything tasted fresh. It’s a family friendly place. Our son enjoyed the chicken fingers. There’s plenty of street parking available.

This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat, and it has fantastic shakes! The burgers were stacked high, and you definitely feel like you are getting your money's worth. And I want to repeat just how good those shakes are! Don't stop by Good Stuff without getting a shake.

Formal Complaint Regarding Service Experience at Capitol Hill Location Dear Good Stuff Eatery Management, I am a frequent customer at your Capitol Hill location, but I recently had a deeply upsetting experience that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. During my last visit, I ordered a burger and was surprised at how quickly it was prepared—almost immediately after placing the order. While I normally appreciate efficient service, the speed in this case made me question whether the food was freshly prepared, as your brand promises. When I respectfully requested that my burger—and my partner’s—be remade, the employee named Alex responded by issuing a refund in a manner that felt dismissive and disrespectful. He simply placed the money down and walked away without a word. This interaction left both my partner and me feeling humiliated in front of other customers and staff. We were treated as though our request for properly prepared food was unreasonable. I left the restaurant feeling hurt, disrespected, and unwelcome—experiences no customer should endure. I am seriously considering pursuing legal action due to the way we were treated, which I believe constitutes both negligence and possible discrimination. I hope you take this complaint seriously and look into both the food preparation practices and the conduct of your staff. I would appreciate a formal response regarding how this situation will be addressed.

Decent burgers. Reminds me of A&W. Blasphemous wall decor upstairs that says "one nation under good". The words "one nation under God" is a venerated phrase from our Pledge of Allegiance that should always be held in the highest regard. In his Gettysburg Address on Nov. 19, 1863 President Abraham Lincoln stated "...that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom..."

Shout out to Diego at the cash register! I ordered lunch and planned to walk over right away. I got stuck at work so fully expected my mini shake to be melted and food cold. Diego waited until I came to make my mini shake and my food was warm and fresh. He said that he noticed I hadn't picked it up and he wanted to make sure that it was high quality and met their standards. He kept my under the warmer to keep my burger fresh. It was a small act of kindness, but it made my week! I used to go to this location frequently, as I lived down the street. The food is high quality, with fresh, hot food and crisp vegetables and delicious sauces. Thanks to Diego for exceptional customer service.

Stopped while walking by. Food was very good. We did have to wait about 20 min for 3 burgers and 3 fries but in the end it was worth it. The fries are honestly some of the best I have ever had. I really didn't like the lemonade as it seemed almost bitter to me, but perhaps I am just not accustomed to what it tastes like on the east coast. There was a young gentleman walking around cleaning the entire time we were there and I appreciated that.

Burger is somewhere between the size of a slider and a McDonalds single hamburger. Incredibly salty too you could taste the granules. They also recently made the milkshake smaller and introduced a “mini” size for a dollar less to make it look comparatively larger. Not sure what happened to this place but not worth the money.

Pretty unremarkable burger with old, oily, overly salted fries. I expected much more for $17 — this is Five Guys pricing without the quality. All bills contain an extremely deceptive junk “E.A.C.” or Extra Additional Charge that customers are forced to pay despite not being listed on the menu. Plus, the cash machine has the nerve to ask for a 25% tip when you have to go up to put in your own order, then head downstairs to collect it yourself — what service am I tipping for exactly? Tipping and junk fee culture has gotten absolutely ridiculous and it’s extremely disappointing to see Good Stuff Eatery scamming their customers with deceptive charges like these. The only redeeming qualities are the refillable fountain drinks and variety of available sauces, but I still don’t think I’ll be returning.

This place is great. Fresh burgers and sandwiches made to order. Shakes are top notch, fries and onion rings are also excellent. Great location and service. Reminds me of shake shack before they expanded. Because they care and it’s all high quality. This is a cant miss guaranteed great meal.

We just ate there and I couldn’t say I’m fully satisfied. Ordered Haight Ashbury (with falafel) and it was horribly dry. Feta as an adding is not a very good idea... and the pickled vegetables? Well, it was a tiny little bit of pickled cabbage (totally tasteless and dry). So this one I wouldn’t recommend to anybody. Notice that. The onion rings are served in a decent size but the taste wasn’t so decent, in fact they lacked it. What you should order there are sweet potato fries. Well prepared, in a huge portion will fulfill your appetite. My husband - as a carnivore - ordered a classical option with meat and grilled cheese, pickles and onion. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either, ordered medium and got well-done, a thing to notice. A friend of ours ordered meat burger with bacon and mushrooms, said it was okay, no regrets.

This Burger Joint is the Bomb!!! I love the food here. I had the high thigh ground chicken 🍔 burger. It was pretty good. I added some of there spicy sauce to my last two bites to see how it would taste so now ima have to go back and tell them add some spice to my burger😋 But for real that was a good burger. Service was very good, not a long wait. Burger Is good as well, got the big daddy. It's a back and blue cheese burger, with smoked chunks of bacon on it. Really good but the reason I say four stars is it was pretty salty. Maybe they should tell u it's pretty salty.

We were looking for a good burger without needing a loan! Servings were big! Burgers are good! It is a block off of the blue line and easy to get in and out. Wife was happy, they serve Dr Pepper. (She’s a pepper) coke products to drink. Lil guy got a grilled cheese and a milk shake...he made it through half of both... The lunch special was burger, fries and drink for $10. Not bad for this area!

I'm giving 5 stars. I didn't have a chance to eat, Me and Family had dessert. I had the best chocolate shake I've ever had. I was at the African American museum. My Daughter said we should stop there. We had already eaten at the cafe in the museum. Desert was our goal. Man that chocolate shake was soooo good I went back 2 days later for a chocolate peanut butter one. It was so chocolatey rich and thick

I smelled full of smok, I wish they could install better ventilation systems. I ordered "medium-well" but i felt my burger burned. Little bit overpriced.

Ambar is a very nice upscale restaurant with a delicious menu, specially for Sunday brunch. They have a Gluten free/vegan menu, but our waiter was a bit wary about recommending anything, because, as she said, they do not take any care about mixing/cross-contaminating dishes. I really do not understand why they bother saying they offer gluten free options if there is no effort in separating a bit of the kitchen to make the Gluten Free dishes. The mimosas are nice, but served almost at room temperature. We tried almost all the dishes in the menu, and they are perfect for individual consumption. The tomato soup was excellent. The balkan kebabs were a bit raw for our taste, but everything was nicely presented. The only gluten free dessert is the granola, fruit and yogurt plate without the granola, but it was very nice and refreshing. The restaurant is modern and cute. Fast service. Good prices for the experience. Will visit again.

All the delicious food you could want in tasting size portions for 2 hours. Only had one dish I didn't care for (cheese pie) but really like the forest mushroom crepe. Reservations recommended, good spot for large groups.

I highly recommend this location. The food was delicious. There are two dining areas. I do not recommend the downstairs area. It was very dark. Everything that we tried was amazing especially the potatoes, the fried chicken, the waffles, and the mimosas. The food came quickly and we were very satisfied with everything that we tasted. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try something different. I also recommend making a reservation. There is a parking garage located across the street on the corner. You can also try your luck at finding a parking spot on the street. However, most of the street parking is zoned so be careful.

Great restaurant with a lovely ambiance and excellent service. At first, it was difficult to catch the staff‘s attention, but once we did, the service became much quicker. The variety of food was impressive, and our brunch turned into a fantastic experience. I especially enjoyed the flavors of the Grilled Hanger Steak, the Salmon Benedict and the Caramel Apple Waffle on top.

A few friends and I enjoyed a lively Saturday brunch, and it did not disappoint. The food was both delicious and satisfyingly filling—we indulged in a steady stream of small plates, each one better than the last. Traditional and mixed berry mimosas flowed alongside, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. Service was attentive and well-paced. We ordered new dishes as previous ones arrived, which kept the experience seamless and the table never empty. There was a small hiccup with the mixed berry mimosa refills—one of us had to follow up a couple of times—but given how busy the place was, it was understandable. The atmosphere was buzzing, with every table occupied and a few groups sitting outside. That said, the noise level made it hard to hold a conversation without raising our voices. Still, for $43 per person for endless small plates and just $1 per drink, it’s a great value and absolutely worth checking out.

I've been wanting to try Ambar for a while and finally got to do so and had a fabulous experience. Between my husband and I we tried about 11 tapas and had a dessert. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful and not overly salted. Service was prompt even on a Saturday night and we didn't have to wait long for the next round of tapas to arrive. We left satisfied and full of delicious food. A couple missed opportunities for the restaurant: the waiter refilled my husband's iced tea but never asked if I wanted another glass of wine. Also when we ordered the dessert we weren't asked if we wanted tea or coffee.

$35 unlimited small plates is an incredible deal and allows even someone with a small appetite to try so many things. This is how food should be!! Here's what I tried: Cevapi --- TO DIE FOR, worth a return visit just for these two small kebabs Steak tartare --- excellent, nice tart flavor to balance out the richness Ajvar spread --- tasty, not as much garlic or eggplant as I hoped though Forest mushroom crepe --- very heavy and cheesy, a little too rich for me Meat pie --- lacking a little in flavor, would not recommend Throughout my whole meal, Ari was very attentive and came by frequently to check in. Really appreciated her cheerfulness and close attention!!

It's about time to post my review 🤔 Last Tuesday was a great time to visit as it was not too busy and I was able to take more photos without too many people in cluttering my frame. This market is great with a nice selection of vendors from baked goods, produce, meat, fish and flowers to snacks and quick meals. There's even a service to sharpen your kitchen knives - so many useful things all in one place. I was impressed with the variety of the selection of meats and cuts offered which ranged across a wide quality spectrum. * The indoor market is between 8 am - 6 pm Tuesday to Saturday Sunday 8 am - 5 pm * Outdoor Market Saturday & Sunday 9 am - 4 pm Tuesday 12 pm - 4 pm Monday - CLOSED The outdoor market on weekends offers local farm-fresh produce and handmade arts & crafts. The Eastern Market has been around for over 136 years. It's a great place to visit and connect with the community, neighbors, families and bring guests from out of town to spend several hours. It's a true gem in Washington DC that's worth stopping by.

Great atmosphere on the weekend with lots of different vendors selling handmade, vintage, and cultural imports. The farmers’ market stalls are full of organic and regionally grown and produced foods. I love the micro greens booth, homemade pickles stall, bread lady, and the açaí bowls! The pottery studio is open for sales and sometimes the students have special sales! There is amazing live jazz music on the corner of C Street. The whole area is blocked off for foot traffic. Lots of dogs on leash and families come out on the weekends. Behind Eastern Market, you will find food and beverage tents with everything from empanadas to Korean bites. The market building is also open with permanent vendors such as butchers, florists, green grocers, and hot food stands. It’s a perfect place to spend your Saturday or Sunday! I never miss a weekend when I’m in town!

Someone needs to wake this place up and offer something special besides history. Parking was bad, food was weak and expensive. Guys business is selling you $2 food items for $8, or 2 for $15. Wish they had other things for sale, like allow garage sales or something.

Great market! Didn't find what I was looking for but they did have a huge variety of meat and a bakery amongst other things.

Our server, Stephanie, was a joy as well. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave wonderful recommendations (it was our first time there). While we were there, we noticed the restrooms being cleaned, which is always nice. I highly recommend Vola's!

The food and service were like Whoa! EVERYTHING was treated well. The calamari had tentacles and rings, seasoned well with fried red peppers which worked! The blackened shrimp were HUGE, full of flavor, and were THE BEST I have had. NOW the SEABASS was AHHMAZZING, cooked to PERFECTION, and paired well with the Orzo. I opted to omit tomatoes and added spinach, FIYA! I don't care for cooked tomatoes! The seafood pasta was full of crabmeat in every bite, lots of scallops, and the sauce, was GREAT. The rigatoni was not evenly al dente BUT if u like al dente, u will love this! Oh, the hush puppies, MUST try!

Great atmosphere. Even sitting inside it is easy to get a seat by the windows where you can see the water. Food was mostly very good. Crab hushpuppies used fresh crab and had a spicy kick. Crispy on the outside. Would get again. I also had the Blackened Salmon. Loved the Farro and tomatoes it comes with. The salmon itself had two issues; not blackened/seasoned enough and no skin. The fish still tasted good overall which is why this rating is a 5. Would be happy to visit again!

MUST GO TO VOLAS IN ALEXANDRIA! I was blown away by how delicious every single dish was! Excellent food and excellent service - the host was lovely, our waitress was awesome, the manager also checked on our table - top tier. We also got to enjoy a beautiful view. Highly recommend. The sea bass and grouper (catch of the day) were my favorite. Everything was scrumptious.

Love this place!! I've only been here twice, yesterday being the second time, the staff and management are so friendly and accommodating. I have a lot of food allergies and don't eat seafood or meat, and the 2 times I've been here they've made sure to double check on any sauces that may contain an allergen of mine, even crafted a cocktail for me with happy hour pricing because I'm allergic to all citrus fruits and mostly all cocktails contain some sort of citrus. Anywho, I'm writing this review, because yesterday I left my food (Veggie Burger & Fries), and I called today just to see if it could be replaced...I had no expectation but it was worth a try. The manager was so nice about it and even asked when would be a good time for me to pick it up!! The food is so fresh, the veggie burger is ACTUALLY VEGGIES and NOT a beyond or impossible burger....which is rare these days!! Literally will come here just for this veggie burger and the service!! Thank you again for being so accommodating and friendly, I really appreciate it. (I wish I could remember the bartender's name from my first visit and my server's name from yesterday....they deserve a mention BY NAME)

Food: toooooooo salty! It was not only my dish, we had a group of 4 and all of us got super salty food. Service: our server had runny nose. He was not using any kind of tissues. He was just cleaning his nose with the same hand he was serving us food and drink. I won't mention his name but he knows himself. Atmosphere: the only good side of this location in nice weather is the atmosphere. In general for about $300 we spent here, I was expecting better service (cleaner) and food quality.

The atmosphere is warm and right next to the pier. There are a great many places to sit between inside and outside. The Food: Fried Calamari (6/10) - This tasted pretty good. The reason I give it 6/10 is because the ratio of Calamari to vegetables was way off. A little too much veggies. Oysters (9/10) - These come with 4 different kinds of Oysters from different places. Salty but in a good way and full of flavor. Vola's Eggs Benedict (7.5/10) - I enjoyed the potatoes that came on the side very much. The bread for the benedict was decently buttered and the eggs were perfectly poached. The ham was a tad bit chewy but otherwise decent. Watermelon Arugula Feta Salad w/ Crab Cake (8/10) - Watermelon was juicy, almond slices were super complimentary but could have used a bit more feta. Strawberry Candied Nut Salad (9/10) - Fresh strawberries, fresh greens, the candied nuts were not overly sweet and the dressing was drizzled on perfectly.

Highly recommend! My favorite Peruvian chicken spot. I think best in the area. I always get the quarter white with yucca, white rice, a side of plantains, and an Inca cola. Parking is easy. They have a free lot.

This spot seriously knows how to season chicken—like, top-tier level. If you're into bold, aromatic flavors, you're gonna love it here. The sweet-and-sour sauce has that perfect mix of tangy, salty, and just a little kick. The chicken itself? Super tender and juicy—no dry bites in sight. Service was solid, nothing to complain about there. But... I gotta be honest—the interior design is not it. Way too bright, and the color scheme lowkey makes you feel like you walked into a daycare. Not really the vibe I’m into, haha. I usually just order through Uber Eats, but this time I brought my boyfriend to try it in person. Not gonna lie—it wasn’t bad at all. He actually loved it, so that’s a win.

Just back from Peru, I’ve been craving Peruvian food—and I never expected to find something this good. Tucked away in an alley, the spot has a surprisingly spacious parking lot and dine-in area. The aroma was divine, and with a long line forming for the chicken, I knew I was in for the right kind of experience. The menu is small and focused, offering chicken with sides in generous portions. The seasoning was perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. The fries were crisp and spot-on. To top it off, they even had Inca Kola! In Peru, I learned it’s actually more popular than Coca-Cola—which is why Coca-Cola ended up buying the brand.

Would I recommend?: Yes Great chicken for a decent price, friendly staff and quick service. Half chicken (white meat) was juicy and spiced well, sides of coleslaw and plantains hit the spot. Would definitely come back!

Best peruvian chicken in Arlington. You will wait in line for like 20-30 minutes but it is all worth it. There are many people and not enough tables so might have to take the chicken home.

Fantastic hidden gem for Peruvian spiced chicken that is rotisserie spit roasted over charcoal! The chicken was crispy and flavorful. Make sure to grab some green sauce for some spice!!

The chicken was ahhh-mazing! The beans were delicious! I will definitely be back. My friend is always going to one of their locations and I finally had the chance to try it while visiting.

This is my go-to restaurant in Arlington! Anytime I have friends or family visiting, I always bring them here. Last night’s dinner was especially amazing. Our server, Nikola, went above and beyond with his service, making the evening even better. My friends and I ordered a variety of dishes to share (as you can see in the photo), and everything was delicious. The pizza and truffle fries are always my staples, but I tried the mac and cheese for the first time—and I’m still dreaming about it! Highly recommend!

I have gone to liberty tavern before for dinner, and they have great pizza, drinks, and appetizers, so when I went to brunch yesterday- I knew it was going to be good. My expectations were exceeded by all means necessary. We got unlimited brunch and here were some of my favorites: the deviled eggs, chicken parm, chicken biscuit, the meatballs, pimento cheese dip, the steak, the Cesar salad, and especially the mini grilled cheese with soup. Our server (I think his name was Nick but I may be mistaken) was so kind, polite, and attentive. I almost went back today because I woke up craving the food. Big variety for the unlimited drink menu as well which is refreshing for a brunch place in Arlington! I wish I took more pictures of the food but unfortunately the phone did not eat first. Will be back for brunch again soon! (Dinner is also delicious but my socks were blown off for brunch)

The servers were great. The food was amazing. The inside and outside were really clean. It’s dog friendly (on the patio), and everyone was so nice. They have a kid menu my daughter loved. We definitely recommend coming here. To summarize, everything was great. We really enjoyed our experience. We’re definitely coming back!

My experience at the Liberty Tavern was nice. I had the field green salad and french fries. Let’s start with my faveeeee .. I love me some French fries and these did not disappoint! They were crunchy and seasoned to perfection! The chipotle sauce they served with them I was not a fan of but the ketchup was 🤏🏽! The salad was different .. I had the grains and greens and there wasn’t that many chickpeas in the salad and the labneh added a different taste, like the labneh wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either .. 🤷🏽‍♀️, could be my tastebuds haha. The star of my meal was the fries and I would go back again just for the fries alone lol. Our server was kind and attentive. She kept our drinks filled and our table was cleared fast too as we sat after eating and chatted. Also - sidenote, I ended up in the chair that Barack Obama sat in when he visited!

Interesting place with a lot of potential but the quality of food doesn't make up for the blandness. So, it's fresh, care is taken by the cooking staff, but seasoned for grandpa & grandpa. The real issue is just how loud it is. Almost impossible to talk during brunch.

My son and I was riding our motorcycles and needed some food and look up this placed up and what a great decision! The area was great and nice to people watch and enjoy the sights. The food was Hot and Good!!! I recommend this place and the staff was cool

The DINER is in proximity to the zoo and open 24/7. I was here on a Monday morning and the diner was almost empty. The food is typical for a diner, with sandwiches, waffles, eggs, pancakes, and hash browns. I had a premium breakfast, including hash browns, a pancake, sausages, and scrambled eggs, and an orange juice (approximately 23 Dollars). The service was friendly. The food was fast prepared, a huge portion and the taste was good. I can recommend the DINER.

We came in for sunday brunch and the food was delicious and worth the trip! The bartender made fabulous drinks for the table! Our server Ary went above and beyond with the service, being attentive and making us feel like valued guests. We are already planning our next visit

I had a very average huevos rancheros with chorizo and pickled jalapeños on top, served with a side of cheese grits. I tasted my partner’s chicken wrap sandwich and didn’t like it at all. Our hotel desk recommended this place, but I don’t see the point.

Horrible early am service (4am) with the same servers each time I come. They cannot handle an influx of customers and will choose not to seat you or serve you (we had to go to the bar to get service after waiting 30 minutes for a menu). When bringing this to the attention of the server, he was rude, argued, got nasty, and blamed everything except himself. This place has decent food, but the headache and experience were just not worth it. Shameful for a diner. Do better.

Nothing beats a 24hr diner. The Diner has great food and an awesome ambiance. Staff is always friendly and food is well priced.

Reprint new menues instead of being shady about paying your servers an acceptable wage.... How shady to have the only sign posted between the bathroom and employee door. I'm half tempted to contact and attorney and see if this is legal Update: I went back by the business today and still see no signs other than the one in the back. Also, please explain where on your website and menu this is stated. Still can't find it. DC isn't the only place to pay an acceptable wage. The rest of us reprint new menus so as not too upset customers

This place is pretty much as advertised. A diner they have breakfast and lunch menu. You can even get a breakfast cocktail. The fried chicken is amazing. I had the 18th St. chicken sandwich which was delicious. The servers are friendly and helpful.

Quirky spot with good falafels. I was looking for a light, refreshing meal on a Tuesday night. This place didn’t disappoint. The falafel bowl with everything was good. A bit pricey considering the size of the bowl, but quality over quantity. The fries were a bit meh. It comes with curry ketchup which is an interesting twist. A pleasant surprise. Overall, a good place for a light meal. The interior decor is unique. It’s worth stopping by.

tl;dr: Subpar falafel bowl, but amazing fries and curry ketchup & long service time for "fast food". Falafel Bowl - 3/5: Falafel was kinda dry, and also drenched in sauce. The pickles and other toppings were not bad, but I couldn't shake the feeling that other established chains just do it better for bigger portions. Fries - 5/5: These steak fries were delicious and perfectly fried and crispy even after my drive home as a takeout order. And I wasn't expecting the ketchup to elevate the fries to a whole new level. I'm glad I took the recommendations to get fries at a falafel shop! I would go back just for the fries. Service - 3/5: Just felt like the cashier didn't want to be there and it was very quiet. They blocked off where the food is assembled due to covid, which is acceptable, but I wish I could see my bowl being assembled and seeing the toppings instead of just hoping they were good enough. Also there was only 1 person in front of me, and it took what felt like 15-20 minutes to complete my order. I was looking for something quicker.

Had a great experience on our first trip to Amsterdam Falafelshop. The gentleman running the counter gave us a perfect run down how to build our falafel bowl... including smashing the balls. The end result was a cacophony of tastes. I had a 5 ball bowl. My wife went 3 ball. We both purchased a side of pita bread. It was warmed and delicious. The bread is sweeter than a traditional Greek pita... but mm mm good.

When I was in town and looking for sone quick lunch options and wanted to have veg thus when found this place. Got to see many accolades from different journals saying this is one of the best falafel place.. I took falafel sandwich and my friend took falafel bowl. The pita bread was soft , falafel was flavorful and their tahini tastes so yumm .. I would definitely recommend this place though inside theres not much place to sit however they’ve outside sitting area as well

Absolutely delicious food at a reasonable price! Great atmosphere (they were playing old school funk and soul) and welcoming staff. All of the toppings were fresh and it was super easy to build a healthy, filling, and entirely vegan sandwich :)

I am pretty sure that I embarrassed my kids when I filled my falafel bowl to the rim. We drove 2+ hours to DC, so I can get my falafel craving fixed. I couldn’t help myself and wanted everything over my falafels. They were cooked right after you place the order. It is crunchy outside, moist and tasty inside. All the toppings and sauces enhance the flavor even more. You will not finish your bowl if you are greedy like me. The sauces were very creative and very good, curry ketchup, peanut sauce, garlic cream... you can either get a sandwich made with pita or a bowl in small or large. Pita and French Fries can be ordered as sides. This is a great option for vegetarians.

Falafel Inc is way better in terms of overall flavor, and the sauces they provide are way better, but this shop excels in all the free toppings so it's a good go to for quantity, but not quality. I got the regular falafel sandwich loaded with hummus, baba ganoush, pickled cauliflower, pickled cabbage, tahini, and the red pepper sauce. It was a formidable creation but just lacking any standout flavor. Their fries were just fries, and I didn't find the curry ketchup anything to write home about. Friendly service, and great decor. Love the Amsterdam style, including all the old school music call outs including the Fugazi poster. Oh, and they really want you to mask here, and have lots of funny signs to remind you.

I’ve gone for bottomless mimosas & happy hour, and both experiences were phenomenal! The prices are reasonable, quality of food and drinks is great, and more importantly, the staff is fantastic. You can tell that they want you to come back and become regulars, which I always appreciate it.

Absolutely Delicious Burger and Top notch Mac n Cheese!!!! Staff were super friendly and their service was attentive. The reviews for this place were spot on as all the food was tasty. Definitely get the burger & Mac n cheese they will not disappoint. The patio was very peaceful and inside was cozy. The only knock was their bathroom was extremely tiny. Overall this place has amazing food and top notch service.

We stopped for dinner both had the waygu burgers, one was regular, one was gluten free. The gluten free was delicious. Had the lemon curd with strawberries was absolutely delicious and the hubby said the toffee bread pudding was delicious and the portion was huge

Fun, delicious, and great service. We come to DC often and this place is one of the best. They made my burger into a lettuce wrap - yum - and with an egg and bacon. Keto heaven.

I wanted to love my burger but it wasn’t my favorite. It was tasty, but a little too greasy for me. Ordered a cocktail and it was way too sweet. The caramelized onion dip with chips was way too salty. Unfortunately they only had one person staffed upstairs when we went so service was slow (felt bad for her). Atmosphere is nice and seems like a cute neighborhood spot. Maybe I’ll try the happy hour next time.

Our "go-to" place was closed due to a fire, so we had to try a new spot. The Salmon Croquettes were super rich but amazing! I enjoyed the Butter Chicken. Some good local beers and interesting place. It was quite loud when it was busy, but we'll be back!

My first time at Duke’s grocery and it did not disappoint. Coincidentally went here on national cheeseburger day and their highly acclaimed Proper Burger did not disappoint! They offer it either medium rare or well done I chose the former and loved it! When in DC I will definitely be back at Duke‘s for a Proper Burger. Also had the Loco Elote or crazy corn, which is basically street corn in a bowl with cheese and peppers. It too was delicious!

GRAND SLAM!! What an awesome joint. This place is made to move customers and product. I’m and out quickly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well. I had a slice of the buffalo chicken and a slice of the truffle mushroom pizza. Both were hot and delicious. They have old school coke products in bottles as well. I highly recommend this place!

Extremely friendly staff! Best pizza I’ve had in all my times visiting DC over the years. Reasonable prices and little to NO wait time. I will be back from now on every time I go to DC!

Loved their pizza! We had a slice of Il capo and a slice of the Margherita, the dough is thing and crispy but does not lack flavor. The only thing that was disappointing was the mushroom truffle slice, it didn’t really taste like truffle to me. The staff is super friendly and helpful but be aware that there is not much space to sit, so you might have to take it to go.

I stopped in for a late night snack at my favorite pizza restaurant in the DMV. If you like NY style pizza this is the place in the DMV. I ordered the margarita and a meat lover with vegetables. The margarita and the cheese are by far my favorites with Crunchy crust and melted cheese cooked to perfection. Because the crust is so thin it does not take much to overwhelm it and make it mushy as was the case with the veggies. The taste profile is good but the crust is terrible. I ordered the specialty combo 2 slices chips, and a soda for $13.65 not bad for a pizza joint.

Returned to wiseguys for the first time in several years. For DC, this is still probably the best slice pizza in town. That said, I have to admit, it wasn't as good as I remembered. My review here might be biased by the paneer slice I tried, which was odd and bland. Anyway, still a solid spot but perhaps slightly diminished from pre-COVID.

Stopped by Wiseguy recent for my favorite two slices in DC. Parking is always rough around this spot. Most times I have to double park, run in and hope there is not line. Their safe is always friendly. Huge fan of this establishment.

Cheesetique is always hands down a happy place to be. Phenomenal service and food with every visit. We always have to visit the cheese shop side before heading home to make sure we have plenty of happiness to take with us

I LOVE this place. The service was fantastic the food was cheesey and they have happy hour everyday. I can't WAIT to come back. We had the Mac and cheese a charcuterie board and one of the grilled cheese sandwiches. Yummy....

Phenomenal! Amazing food and great portions and drinks were great. We ordered a grilled cheese and a gnocchi pasta. The service was helpful and attentive, a great way to enjoy dinner. They also have wine and cheese to sell, overall great experience!

The perfect place to getaway for a little happy hour date night! As someone who knows absolutely nothing about wine & cheese but has grown up walking past this restaurant I can not say enough good things about the food, drinks, and service here. You can't go wrong with any of their appetizers and the team had amazing recommendations for main courses. We got to try two of their mocktails and they were the perfect light refreshing balance to the meal. Grab a friend, a loved one, or a good book and treat yourself.

Visited Cheestique with a group of friends and co-workers during the Del Ray Gallery Thursdays. The place is very charming. It has an area with a bar and a restsurant, nicely decorated with a variety of paintings and art. An adjacent area is a small but well supplied wine store. But the amazing feature of Cheestique is, of course, the cheese counter! It reminded me of a Parisian fromagerie (cheese store), with an amazing selection and variety of cheeses, both international, American, including local dairies. The restaurant area is cozy, and it may be a nice romantic date site. We all had a variety of appetizers. I had a cheese board that included both raw milk and regular cheeses, grapes, fresh baguette slices, seeded crackers, mustard, etc. The server was also warm, helpful and apptoschsble. Even Eric, the manager, came to speak yo is about our experience. I recommend Cheestique wholeheartedly

Delightful spot in the Delray section of Alexandria. Restaurant and well-outfitted cheese shop with all the charcuterie and cheese selections you could want. Good wine selections too.

This evening, my wife and I decided to try this lovely restaurant in DEL RAY and I have to say that we were very pleased. The staff, as well as the manager were very attentive, the service was absolutely perfect as was the food that was served. Restart it with their French onion soup, which was absolutely perfect and then my wife had a chicken pot pie and I had their burger, I have to say that everything that we ate was delicious. They have a special where you can carry out an uncooked meat lasagna for two to cook later or to freeze for a later time . The price of this carryout was $15.99! A great value, especially because it is a very large portion of food. We are so looking forward to eating that and to returning to this restaurant at a later time.

It was my second time at this family friendly, but business casual vibe Greek restaurant. Good authentic Greek food. We got the hot grape leaves, but prior I had the cold ones. Both were tasty. Vibe - family dining room with a Greek decor feeling. As soon as we stepped inside it was like a warm family home vibe. Service- friendly, professional but a little bit slow due to covering all the tables during a busy Saturday night. Food - my scallops dish honestly needed a bit more rice and a bit more string beans but it was a nice light meal. The pasta is a huge portion size because my boyfriend couldn’t finish it. Parking - tight parking spaces but it’s free behind the restaurant. Overall, if you want authentic Greek food and you have some patience definitely visit them!

This place is fantastic for Mediterranean Greek food! I loved every piece of it. The food was flavorful with great portions and the service staff was superb and friendly. The place is clean and with great ambiance. Plenty parking and great location within walking distance to many hotels in area. Give it a try, absolutely fantastic. Don't be fooled as you walk in, it might be packed with people inside. 👍❤✔

The Psari Skaras was divine, fresh and cooked well. The Arni Psito was roasted to perfection, tender and succulent. Our server, Markus, was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.

This is such a lovely local place! I was very impressed by the quality and cost of the food here. This is definitely a "lunch on a budget" place where one need not compromise on portion size. The staff are also incredibly attentive and warm. We never felt "abandoned" by our server during our meal, which was served swiftly. On a personal note, I was reminded of my own local Greek restaurant back home on Long Island, *also* named Athena, and it felt so comforting to be reminded of home 260+ miles away. ❤️

This is a wonderful Greek restaurant near all the restaurants on 23rd Street. The service was a bit slow at lunch time but the quality of the food and the price easily made up for the wait. My Gyro was flavorful and the wrap itself was very soft and fresh. I highly recommend eating here.

Fried calamari was yummy here! 😋 Nice portions of fried squid 🐙 that paired well with Tzatziki sauce. I chose lamb gyro, which also goes well with tzatziki, & side of potatoes. Lamb was tasty; not dry. Only giving this spot 4 🌟 's because we were given a glass that had previous customer's lipstick still on it. 🤷‍♀️

So, I went back tonight and so glad I did. Another home run for me. I decided to order the lamb shank, I did not realize how much I enjoy lamb. I said it before and I will say it again, I love this place!!! The good is so good and the service is outstanding. They treat you like family. I absolutely love this restaurant!!!!! The food is delicious and the service was exceptional. They made us like family. Yesterday, i ordered my dinner to go and it was outstanding!!

I ordered two hotdogs - one Coney Island and one bombshell. They were solid dogs, but not the best I’ve ever had. I’d like to go back and try their burgers and fries, as they looked very good ! The decor, layout, and service was excellent as they made plays on their “doggy board” with dogs 🐶 posted everywhere. Would I go again - yes. Is it the best hot dog I’ve ever had- no. Service/staff was very good- kind and engaging. Worth a shot, in my opinion.

Stopped by one night on the recommendation of a friend. Weather was nice so we could eat outside. Kept the hot dog fairly traditional... The Three Piece Suit - chili, melted cheese, and onion. The Haute Fries - curry ketchup and Sriracha called to me since I was craving curry wurst. Finished up with an Oreo shake. Hot dog was good: the split-top, buttered bun is a nice change and the natural casing is a snap that I like. Fries were a nice mix of savory curry with a little heat.

I truly enjoy stopping in for their amazing french fries (see photos: Hand-cut Fries and Garlic and Fresh Parmesan Fries). Service is always wonderful (professional staff), and the dinning area is always clean and organized.

We really enjoyed our food. I ordered the Three Piece Suit. It had beef chili, melted cheese, and chopped onions. The fries were just regular fries, but it was enough to share with my daughter. This is a really cool spot. The inside is nicely decorated, with lots of dog pictures!! They have lots of options. You can get the hot dogs as beef, veggie, or chicken. I got the Buffalo (blue cheese crumbles, chopped celery, sriracha, and ranch) and House (onion relish, mustard, mayo, celery salt) I really enjoyed both, especially the House Dog!! This is a Black owned, gourmet hot dog spot! Very cool!

First time eating from this place. Tonight was my last night in Alexandria and I wanted something really delicious that wouldn't break the bank. Most of the restaurants in the area are a bit too pricey. Especially if you're staying at a hotel. You're paying for quality here at Haute Dogs and at a reasonable price. I was able to get a Coney Island dog and large order of cheese fries, and a Coke for under $15. I had my wife take a bite of my dog and she loves it! Usually she is picky about how dogs are cooked but she really enjoyed it. We decided to make this place our new go-to whenever in the area or have a craving. Great friendly customer service and I love a place where dogs are welcomed as they have pictures of dogs on the walls, and there is a doggie water bowl juice outside the entrance. Check em out! You won't be disappointed!

Being someone who doesn't like hotdogs, I was pleasantly surprised by this modern gourmet take on an American classic. The buns complimented the rest of the dog really well. The toppings tasted fresh and we'll blended. The fries however had celery salt which, in my opinion, overpowers the taste of everything else.

Went for summer restaurant week. I appreciated the flexibility of their restaurant week menu and the outdoor seating with view of the river was lovely. The food was good and fresh but was pretty standard American fare. Nothing stood out as spectacular but was tasty overall. There were vegetarian options for all the courses. Service was a bit slow between the 1st and 2nd course. I think there may have been an issue because after a certain point service seemed to pick up for all the tables.

False advertising?! Dining out is never by chance for me. I have studied the menu, read the reviews, and planned out my health conscious meal during the day to be ready to indulge at the restaurant. Sadly, all my research fell short for Hummingbird. Apparently there is a Monday “special menu” that is limited and also has features not available other days. I went tonight with my heart set on the whole grilled fish and hush puppies that I reviewed on the website multiple times. Not available. I still wanted fish, and there was a salmon linguine option. This dish is only offered on Mondays. It was flavorful but heavier than I wanted for the evening. I was clearly upset, however the food was still good, giving the 4 star review. Salmon linguine: 5/5 crispy skin. Lemon cream sauce that was the perfect tang. Spring salad: 5/5 fresh light salad. The spiced pecans were a great bonus. Hummingbird Cake: got this to go! Great and moist. If you do not like banana this is not the dessert for you. The Monday night menu is a great option as there is a 3 course meal for $40! But again, many of the standouts that I heard and wanted to try were not available. I would go back on another night to try those. Apparently there is a happy hour as well. The menu is not posted online, but there is mention of it in the timing, unlike the Monday menu. Nice patio view looking at the water. As the sun went down, there were a few mice as noted in other reviews. I feel like this could be motivated but also you are sitting outside. Idk! Great service.

Hummingbird Bar + Kitchen was our wedding venue for both the ceremony and reception. We booked with them in Feb. 2025 for an October 2025 wedding, and in those ~8 months, we probably emailed back and forth with Kenneth 100 times. He is a 5 star Event & General Manager - so patient with us, answering all our questions, and filling our requests. The setting was perfect, the staff set up and tore down the entire space for our event, and they were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout. Our guests raved about the food, the hummingbird cake, and the setting along the Potomac river. The location was incredibly convenient for us and our guests - many who stayed upstairs in Hotel Indigo or nearby, walking distance, and everyone enjoyed the charm of visiting Old Town, Alexandria. Our wedding was such a special day, and while there are a lot of reasons for that - we are so happy that it happened at Hummingbird. Thank you, Kenneth, to you and your staff for making it happen.

I visited during Restaurant Week and had the three-course menu. The food was decent—good, but nothing that really stood out. Portion sizes were fair. The service, however, left something to be desired. Cocktails took an unusually long time to arrive, and overall attentiveness from the staff was lacking. We chose to sit outside, but unfortunately that experience was overshadowed by a noticeable number of mice running around the patio area, which really ruined the atmosphere. Also worth noting: the restaurant isn’t directly on the water—it’s set back a bit, so don’t expect true waterfront dining.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Hummingbird, and we can’t say enough about how wonderful this venue was! From the very beginning, Kenneth, the event coordinator, was exceptionally responsive and communicative, taking the time to quickly and thoroughly answer all of our questions and ensure he was able to make our wedding vision come to life. For a smaller to mid-sized wedding reception, there is plenty of space in Hummingbird. The floor to ceiling windows give you a beautiful view of the Potomac and the space flows out nicely to an open patio. The food and service were also excellent, with several of our guests particularly noting how good the short ribs and crab cakes were! Planning a wedding can be stressful, and reserving Hummingbird, and working with Kenneth, made the whole process so much more seamless and enjoyable. My parents also worked with Hummingbird and Kenneth to host a goodbye brunch the day after our reception, which turned out perfectly! Our guests loved being able to celebrate with us in such a gorgeous, unique venue, and we’ll always be so appreciative to Hummingbird and Kenneth for helping to provide us with a perfect wedding weekend!

Had our wedding at Hummingbird and couldn't be happier with our decision. Kenneth is a pro's pro and he and his staff are extraordinary. We were able to buy out the restaurant and side patio for over 6 hours and celebrate our ceremony, dinner, reception all under one roof (with the bonus of hosting our guests at the attached Hotel Indigo). Planning a wedding without coordinators was stressful until we started to meet with Kenneth. He and his staff swiftly took care of all the behind the scenes details from menu selection, setup, teardown, food and drink service, and coordinating with our vendors like our DJ with setup and all associated questions / needs they had. We brought our own decor and Kenneth not only decorated the entire venue but made the vision come to life better than we ever expected. Can't forget about the food. Almost every guest at our wedding commented that our dinner was one of the best they've had at a wedding which would have made our decision to book at Hummingbird worth it alone (the amish chicken especially was a hit). The bar service was incredible as well. Kenneth designed 2 killer signature cocktails that not only fit our theme but were possibly more well-received than dinner. We want to thank all the good people at Hummingbird one last time for hosting our family and friends. They made our wedding as special as possible and I can't recommend them enough. We'll be back for dinner regularly!

Thomas and Tonya are awesome! They greeted me as soon as I walked in, with smiles and pleasant vibes! The manager, Ken, recommended this cool drink called CAMPING. Was delicious… like a Smokey, s’mores, old fashioned. Great experience. Next time I’m in old town, I will be back here first!!!

I was actually excited for the buckwheat blue berry pancakes. Am a big pancake fan, I don’t do cheat meals and usually stick to eating at home. So I do have high standards. These were okay. They were fine. Not bad but I have had better ones. So much better.

Stopped in for lunch on a mission for a crab cake. Ordered the 2 crab cake plate with fried green tomato and coleslaw. Crab cake - 4/5 nice size, real lump crab little fillers. Beautiful crust. Seasoned. Satisfying. Could use a little lemon juice or remoulade sauce. I didn't care for theirs- Tarter just okay Green tomatoes-4/5 Good breading and flavor. Coleslaw -4/5 good solid coleslaw Roll- 4/5

I ❤️ this place! When I have guests visit DC, this is where I take them before a day of sightseeing. This time, I had buck wheat blue berry pancakes. Which sounds simple, but they're exceptional! Buy so is their crab cake Benedict and chicken and waffles. It's hard to go wrong here. Check the blackboard for daily specials. Be warned on weekends, the line can be really long. I suggest going early. They open at 8AM, I think. Also, the only seating is a communal table or the picnic tables outside. Then go walk it off and enjoy the rest of Eastern Market.

Absolutely delicious!!! A must try! The line might seem long but the staff is great, great service and fast as well.

May 19, 2024 Ashley and I walked to Eastern Marker in D.C. We went to the The Marker Lunch and got a crab cake platter, I then got some local cold brew and Ashley got some local juice. After we took the Metro to see the Washington Mystics vs Seattle Storm at the Entertainment and Sports Arena!

What a great experience. The gentlemen in the cashier is great! He is super funny and gives you the best suggestions, so you better listen to him :p We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food is delicious: the crab cake Benedict it’s amazing... They are famous for the blueberry pancakes (delicious as well). The service is great, very nice staff, convenient location and good prices. FYI: This place is cash only, so be prepared :)

A friend and I were so excited to come here for the pancakes. I had them before, a few months prior, and had been raving about them ever since. We both traveled over half an hour just to get them and were beyond disappointed after waiting in line to be told that they had run out of pancake mix and did not feel like making any more. This was 20 minutes before breakfast ended. After leaving the line dejected, we found out from the people next to us that not only had they successfully ordered pancakes, but they had ordered after us. I was looking forward to going here all week, and this experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’m unsure if I will ever return.

Bonchon never disappoints. Was indecisive between Chinese and Bonchon for dinner. Ended up getting both. I ordered 16 wings: half garlic soy and half spicy for delivery. The garlic soy was so delicious but the spicy wings (per my other half) said it was so spicy he couldn't chew but instead swallowed lol. He loves spicy food but these wings were very spicy for him. Still good but too spicy.

i will go back and try just the chicken because i believe that’s all they should stick to. ordered fried rice and bul dak. fried rice was okay and bul dak was awful. chicken tasted weird, flavor was just one thing all over the chicken. barely any tteokboki. took 25+ minutes for the food to come. almost no one on the floor to refill waters because (i’m guessing) the tab is all online. idk very underwhelming and a sad meal.

Nothing special, but not bad. The price will drive me to other places because the sauces aren't special and the meat is really thin, nothing compared to popeye's. Nice people, but bland atmosphere.

Not the best but not bad. Certainly not authentic. If you go, there’s a free parking garage right behind the restaurant which helps. Staff are friendly and wait time for food is minimal. You’ll most likely order and pay from your phone, although I prefer actual menus. Prices are a little more than I care for but somewhat reasonable. The setting is fair. Clean tables and comfortable seats. I opted for a fusion dish, the bulgogi fries. Size was appropriate and flavors were decent. My wife had the japchae. Again, food is not very authentic but fair.

My friend decided to make Wednesdays paint and sip night and it was a amazing idea Bonchon, yes I said it Bonchon managers were please to make this idea my friend had spring into action. I thank the manager and staff for their help also shout out to my friend for the opportunity to host paint and sip Wednesday nights.

This is my first time eating at a Bonchon and I really liked it. We ordered Bulgogi Udon, Chicken Katsu, and the House Fried Rice to go and loved all of them. Great flavor in all three dishes. These three orders served two of us four separate meals, so the portion sizes are really good. Also, the servers were very friendly. They actually made a mistake on one of our orders and gave us just the Bulgogi plate instead of udon. One of their workers called and then drove the extra order over. So I guess it was these four dishes that served us four meals. Anyhow, we liked the food so much, we came back a couple days later for the happy hour. The drink specials are a bit limited, but they still have some decent deals. I ended up ordering just a normal drink since I didn't love any of the options. And then we ordered the Bao Buns and the Seasoned Fries and both of those were very good. Definitely impressed with the food here.

The wings here are the best in town. Super crunchy and filled with lots of flavor. There’s a code that you scan and my food came straight to my table. I was hesitant on ordering that way because I didn’t think the service would be up to par but my waitress and the manager were attentive. I never had to ask for anything because they were two steps ahead of me. The beer was ice cold just how I like it. Overall great experience as always!

Pretty good food, service just so so. Draconian hours. Overall speaking, I am willing to put up with the shitty service for the good food. I took a large group to come and eat the restaurant kicked us out on the dot. Usually restaurants would give some leeway and don't just show their patrons the door at exactly shutdown time. The 8PM shutdown time on weekends is kind of difficult, given that we were trying to enjoy a good meal and coffee afterwards. I'd at least give 30 min leeway before kicking patrons out.

Nam-Viet Restaurant is a hidden gem in Clarendon with delicious food at affordable prices. My favorites were the grilled pork and the beef curry — both full of flavor and perfectly cooked. It’s also one of the few Vietnamese restaurants still standing from the old 'Little Saigon' days of Clarendon, which gives it a nostalgic charm and sense of local history. Service was efficient, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Reservations are not necessary. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Came in to try the Vietnamese coffee with a Pokemon ice mold on it but we came too late. The person I spoke to said they sold out with in 15 mins of opening. Wish I knew that because this is the first time trying this establishment. The ice coffee was a nice strong Vietnamese coffee. Wasn’t hungry so we ordered the crab fried rice to go. I liked the flavor profile of the fried rice but it would be better with a little more crab in it. Everyone was very nice and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Lots of pictures on the wall of previous customers. Would give this place another try in the future when we are in the area.

I've been coming here for over a year now and every time has been great experience. I pretty much order the same thing which are the salt and pepper shrimp and Saigon style soft shell crabs (if available). Occasionally I order pho which is okay. Today I tried something new which is fried squid and scallops (taste the same as the salt and pepper shrimp), the seafood stir fry noodles and orange pork chops. All are very good. They have always been consistent and the service is always good.

Some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had and quite possibly the best in town. And Im not alone in thinking so because this place is an Arlington Institution. I have been coming here for years, mostly for Takeout as of late, and the food is just great. Check this place out if you get the chance, however keep in mind that Parking is Scarce. From what I have been told by older Arlingtonians they used to have a parking lot and even outdoor seating until the buildings around it came up. Still definitely worth the quest for parking

Long standing Vietnamese place located right in the heart of Clarendon. Fair prices, great menu size, and good quality meal. The wings (fish sauce flavor) were great and the veggie pho was packed with flavor and color.

I got pho bo (beef) and my friend got a bun bo hue ( spicy beef). Pho Bo was ok. The meat it had was hard and didn’t seem like it was cooked longer period of time where it gets soft. The bun bo hue didnt taste like it should. The soup didn’t have its beef broth taste that it should have. Overall, I wouldn’t get their soup.

Celebrated with my friends here, the atmosphere, the food, the staff, and customer service were outstanding. We had a great time her and left with full belly. Food was on point and much better than most other places. Enjoyed the experience. Best of all everything was sooooo clean.

We had dinner here and ordered the dry pot beef and the sour soup lamb. This place offers authentic Chinese (Szechuan) cuisine at very reasonable prices. The servers were also very warm and friendly.

The facility is old and the taste is average below , we pick the fish for $48 plus , it is smell and fire sure dead fish and not worth the value , this restaurant not recommended . Server is fine

Shanghai lounge rocks because it's not trying to prove anything this is freshly prepared Chinese food the traditional way and the ingredients are pretty good love their eggplant love their shrimp love their soup buns and love their service oriented owners and servers that want to make you happy. I am raising the rating of the food to five stars. I visited recently and the food was more than excellent. I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in DC..cucumber salad and soup buns yum!

By far the best Chinese place in the area. I grew up nearby, and it was a staple for my best friend and me on our Sunday afternoons after having scoured the flea market for anything reasonably priced. The food is consistently rich and flavorful, the staff is always friendly, and the location itself is so cute. My favorite dish is the crispy beef. The portion size does suggest being split between two, but it's so good I usually just get greedy and have all of it myself. Perfectly crispy and the sauce is just sweet and savory enough, pairs perfectly with the side of rice. The classic lo mein options are also very good. With more of a mild flavor, I usually like to pair them with a protein. The fish dishes are also delicious, super fresh and rich, the spicy hot pot fish melts in your mouth. Overall my favorite place to hit up after a long day, especially in the winter 🫶

Next, the **Scallion Pancake** surprised us with its uniquely crisp layers and distinctive flavor—better than average, with a crunch that elevates the familiar dish. The **Steamed Pork Soup Bun** was a delightful palate cleanser, though the filling leaned toward the sweet side, and the dumpling skin was slightly thicker than that of more delicate varieties. The food here was great. We were looking for some authentic Chinese food and came across this restaurant but thought it looked a little localized but tried it anyway. They have good Szechuan food and the lady waiter there was so so sweet - she was so excited for me to try out the cumin lamb. The food absolutely did not disappoint (at least the dishes we had) and we'd definitely go back to eat again. The atmosphere was below avg as it was dingy and the smell wasn't great so I wouldn't call it a vibe, but if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a good spot.

It took a while for the server to come over but overall everything was great. I ordered from the happy hour menu and got the taco trio and habanero sangria (not spicy, just named after the restaurant). Both were very tasty. I went around 5 and it was pretty chill in there. Great vibes and good music. Will go back again soon.

A very cool little spot! I really enjoyed the decor, and the restaurant itself has great seating available. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were great. They were covered in sauce and pack to the brim. Amazing taste, served hot, and you can tell they make everything from scratch. The real superstar was my waitress. She seemed to be the only one working and she was killing it! I had absolutely no problems with my service despite the large number of customers she was having to cater to. I did find 16 dollars for the tacos to be a little on the expensive side, but I understand D.C is an expensive city. Happy to support a small business!

One of my favorite spots — I’ve been coming here for years, and the food just keeps getting better. Every bite tastes like it came straight from Mexico City. The tacos al pastor are incredible — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. And the handmade tortillas? Absolute perfection! The guacamole is always fresh, the salsas have that perfect balance of spice and tang, and their margaritas are the best way to top it all off. You can taste the authenticity and love in every dish — nothing feels rushed or commercialized, just real Mexican cooking done right. The staff are always warm, friendly, and quick to make you feel at home. Even when the place is busy (which it often is!), they handle everything with a smile. It’s the kind of place that turns first-time visitors into loyal regulars — just like me!

Great on everything! I wish we had more places like this in US. They carry lots of authentic flavors, the spice has a very good kick of heat, the Spanish music is going as you embrace on the dips, friendly staff, and Mexican Coke. It has a great ambient Mexican culture just like when I was in Mexico traveling. The food doesn't take like watered down American-Mexican restaurants.

Folks with allergies and dietary restrictions beware: a piece of conventional chicken showed up in my vegan pita. It was a completely different size, taste, and texture than the breaded Meati vegan cutlets (also in the sandwich). I hadn’t eaten chicken for nearly two decades until today. 😞

Different than all the fast casual med places but still wasn’t anything special. We had the cauliflower hummus bowl which didn’t have enough bread for the amount of spread. The hummus completely took over the taste of the cauliflower. The braised cabbage pita was good but also overflowed and made the bread soggy. I think in this case less hummus would have been better to get a better taste of the delicious cabbage. We had these pickles. Those were terrible.

I walk past this place EVERy SINGlE day so I had to try it out when I had an extra long lunch break. Very solid lunch option! I got the chicken shawarma bowl that comes with a pita bread. Ordered online and picked it up within 15 minutes. It’s very filling and I was full about 1/3 way through. The hummus is amazing, very smooth. Definitely will visit again.

Heard from several people being the best pitta in Washington, so I decided to make a stop. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a very nice way and really makes you want to stay there. For the sandwich I must say that it was really of a very good quality and quickly served. The price is a bit high but it is still an experience to have.

I always like carmelized onion hummus and it was on sale in whole foods so initially bought 1 and I jalapeno hummus after tasting the carmelized onion hummus I went back and got more. I haven't tried the jalapeno hummus yet. I didn't even realize it's organic previously bought Wegmans brand

We had been wanting to try Little Sesame since we saw it featured in the Washington Post’s “25 best casual restaurants in the D.C. area” this past June. Beautiful, beautiful decor inside. Loved the tile work and the functionality of everything. Seating was a bit difficult as we arrived towards the end of the lunch rush. It’s a fast casual spot that focuses on hummus bowls, pita sandwiches, seasonal salatim, and mezze. Our group of three all opted for bowls over sandwiches and it came in right around the ~$10-11 mark pre-tax. The menu is definitely pretty seasonal so most of what we ordered is no longer included in the winter offerings. One bowl was the chicken shawarma, one featured beets, and the third (I believe) was zucchini. Regardless, all three came served over a bed of outrageously smooth, creamy hummus. Best hummus I’ve had in DC and just might be the best I’ve had outside of Israel. Each main also comes with a delicious, warm pita. We additionally ordered a seasonal fattoush salad and the dairy free, vanilla tahini soft serve for dessert. Unfortunately both were forgettable, fattoush was overly soggy and the ice cream pretty flavorless. Would love to give LS a 4.5 but it’s at a 4 right now with the caveats being that if you love hummus, it’s your spot and if you’re particularly sensitive to veggie, vegan, or dairy free lunch options it seems like a fantastic alternative to other fast casual spots in the city.

Good comfort food on a rainy day. I am so glad I work near a location again. I had a standard chicken hummus bowl. If you are new to Little Sesame, the hummus bowls seem very limited in portion but they are filling. The food is fresh and you get it quickly for a midday break.

Overall, the food was decent, and the drinks paired well. The ambiance had a young vibe, making it more suitable for hanging out with buddies rather than a family-friendly spot. The service was decent as well.

It's all about the trivia. Bar Bao has a fun trivia night on Thursday and tables fill up so you need to get here by 6:45 or earlier if you want one of the booths. The happy hour specials are decent but they serve everything in plastic cups. No one wants to drink wine out of a plastic cup. But we do for the trivia. Sushi and dumplings are good for snacks and I do like their brussel sprouts appetizer. There's an outside patio area too which is nicer than the inside IMO. Definitely a fun spot for trivia, maybe happy hour.

This place was so amazing and so under the radar. The restaurant had a beach bar theme in the back with a quieter, yet still hip atmosphere in the front. The server and the hostess were both so attentive and helpful. The bao buns were incredible and small bites were great too. I highly recommend the bottomless brunch on the weekends for $35 all you can eat + 25 cent mimosas! The happy hour menu also has some interesting selections for reasonable prices too.

There's some street parking around, we didn't end up making a reservation but it didn't really matter so it was quiet which surprised me. We opted for the bottomless brunch and the carafe of mimosas which was totally worth it. Our server, James, was awesome. The brunch was $36.99/person and the carafe of mimosas (~8 glasses was only $13.99). We ordered the Calamari, Honey Shrimp, Chicken & Waffles, Bulgogi Hash, Braised Pork Bao, Breakfast Tots, Salmon Benedict, Pork Dumplings, Home Fries, JFC Bao, Shrimp Tempura Bun, Short Rib Bao, Steak Frites and Nutella French Toast. Notables and recommendations: Honey Shrimp, Chicken & Waffles, Bulgogi Hash, JFC Bao, Short Rib and Nutella French Toast were amazing. The other ones were ok and not bad but too salty or the sauce was too overpowering for my taste. Overall, genuinely surprised about how great everything was! Definitely recommend! Total before taxes ~ $88

We stopped by because my friends liked the outdoor seating area and wanted a drink. They have good beer on tap and a nice outdoor space. That’s where the good things. Food is pricy with just okay portions. The kimchi bulgogi fries are $19 with little meat and kimchi but a lot of mayo. The food is not anything special. The service is not consistent and confusing. Your best bet is to order drinks and food at the bar and then wait there until it comes. The outdoor patio is great when there’s nice weather but I would not order food again.

Chose this place based on the large patio and sitting outside was very nice. There is a longer wait for the "back patio" which is more of a scene. The "front patio" is narrower and quieter. The servers genuinely seemed to be doing the best they could with a severely disorganized and understaffed kitchen and bar. They even admitted that the managers were helping to cook. Unfortunately it didn't really help as food came out more than an hour after ordering. It was clear that this was happening at other tables as well. The restaurant took the late items off the bill to apologise. Overall the food was decent, the snacks and bao are better than the entres. Would be willing to try it again because the patio is nice but do not go here if you are in a rush! Happy hour specials are solid for Clarendon including $4 for any draft beer including some heavy hitters.

Food was great. Parking is a nightmare! We went there because google listed that this "asian restaurant" is open late until 12-1am. We drive 45min there for family dinner of 8people. Theres no information online saying that the restaurant will close at 10 and turn it into a club. We was shock! After 45min of driving, we have 45min to dine in To super rush on eating and get kick out before 10pm. Some food dish is not even done cooking before we have to get out of there. Our bill is near $250 for a super rush dine in. It was an unhappy experience for our first time visiting the area. A plus for the food but the hours and bar/club info need to be listed clearly and correctly for first time visitor like me who based on google info.
