Ice cream shop
Creole Creamery is a beloved local ice cream parlor chain with locations in Uptown and Lakeview areas of New Orleans. The parlors offer a casual setting where visitors can enjoy artisanal ice cream creations made fresh daily. Known for their ever-changing flavors and unique specialties, such as the Tchoupitoulas sundae, Creole Creamery provides a one-of-a-kind ice cream experience.
07MAR25 ~ What a fun place to eat ice cream and spend time with your family or friends! Kids will love this place! It is a locally owned & operated small business. You order and they make everything right in front of you. There are lots & lots of options of ice cream and how you want it prepared. They make their own ice cream on & change some of the types of ice cream often. The inside is clean, bright, with a friendly, fun, atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are good. I had the Classic Sundae, which I recommend, and it was all I could do to finish it. My grandson had to help me! This was my first visit to Creole Creamery & I went with my son and his family (Who are regulars). My son was the first person to complete 'The Tchoupitoulas Special' twice (It was $25 when my son ate two of them. Now it is $45)!

My cousin and I were craving something sweet and Creole Creamery filled this craving. As we pulled up I noticed the buildings 1940s/50s architecture and design. I love that they kept the history alive with keeping the outer structure intact. This continued inside the building with the strong red brick, long ice cream counter, and photos. The street was parked up, so we parked across the street, which had tons of open parking. Upon walking in we were encouraged to try samples. I tried their cookies monster and cookies and cream. Both were amazing and I could not decide! The lady that assisted helped as I was able to get one scoop with both flavors. Omg! Them together was super delicious! The mix of the chocolate, cookies, and cream was heaven! My cousin got their red velvet and it was just as creamy, cool, and delicious. We really liked that they were not super and sweet. The price was not bad as for one amble scoop was a little over $4! This is the spot!
Chandra J — Google review
If your looking for a good ice cream shop this is a great choice! Lots of choices of ice cream and the line although normally long it moves fast! Employees have always been kind and helpful! I got the chocolate amaretto cheesecake ice cream in a sundae, my husband the banana split. And my daughter a scoop of the chocolate amaretto ice cream!
Court_B — Google review
It’s the most iconic ice cream spot in New Orleans for a reason. Alongside the classic flavors, they offer some truly unique options. I tried the saffron rose cardamom (bastani), matcha strawberry, and olive oil salt- all were absolutely delicious!!!! It was busy, but we still found a seat. Highly recommend!
Tammy — Google review
Best ice cream in uptown! I took a chance and I’m so glad we found the best ice cream place. The ice cream is out of this world good. Best treat on any hot day. Notable mentions the petit ice cream and the banana cheesecake, insane!
Yazmin O — Google review
Piper is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable about all the flavors, and helped us choose the perfect scoops. Her energy made the whole experience even sweeter. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it reflects in the way she treats customers. Piper is the kind of person who makes you want to come back—not just for the ice cream, but for the great service. Thank you, Piper, for making our visit extra special!
TLE — Google review
I looooooooove Creole Creamery. It’s a post-exam staple for me. Their ice cream is truly the best reward after a stressful week. They always have new flavors on rotation, and sometimes they get a little bit weird with it, which I love. I will always try a weird ice cream flavor, and they’re almost always good. The service is great, especially since it’s always so crowded and the employees work so hard and so quickly to get everyone’s orders filled.
Sophia G — Google review
Came here with the kiddos and really enjoyed our treat! They have a lot of different options—really unique flavors & their ice cream isn’t overly sweet. I went with the junior sundae. Nice portion size, the single scoop is pretty large. Also tried the Creole Strawberry, amazingly delicious! Can get quite crowded so seating can be problematic. Staff were friendly & attentive. Love that you can sample! Will be back.

Angelo Brocato is a renowned New Orleans institution that has been serving up delectable Italian desserts and gelato since 1905. The family-owned parlor, located in the Mid-City neighborhood, boasts a charming pastel-pink setting that exudes nostalgia. With over a century of experience, Angelo Brocato offers an extensive menu featuring classic spumoni, handmade cannoli, Italian cookies, and coffee.
This place doesn't really need an introduction; its reputation speaks for itself. Casual charm and personal nostalgia made this a no-brainer place to get my morning coffee and sfogliatelle, or "fogies" as they adorably call it. Note that they only do sfogliatelle on the weekends or special holidays as they are intensive to make. Anyway, everything's freshly made and tastes how it's supposed to. Now, if I can only get lobster tails... :)
F. F — Google review
I really love the tiramisu cake here! It’s always delicious and consistent. I keep coming back not just for the tiramisu, but also for the blueberry tart and cheesecake, which are equally amazing. The desserts are always fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The staff is friendly. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys quality desserts!
Yvonne A — Google review
Worth the wait! We had a fresh fruit tart, baba rhum cake, and tiramisu gelato...all three were delightful!
Tammy K — Google review
Great variety and flavors. Was recommend to us by local restaurant staff for dessert.

Best Italian pastries around. The best canolli in the world. The canollis are better tasting than in Italy 🇮🇹

I grew up eating at Angelo Bracottas. The cannolis are perfection and everything in the store Is outstanding. A perfect ending to a perfect night out. I always recommend visitors to the city to go there for a special treat.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. I started going here roughly 6 years ago when I started grad school at the University of New orleans. It's my absolute favorite bakery. Everything they have is delicious. I literally have never had anything bad at this bakery. The gelato is incredible. The sweets are great. The Spumoni is incredible. The people are incredibly friendly. I've come in so many times by now that they know me. Absolutely wonderful place. It's usually so don't be surprised if there is a bit of a line, but it's absolutely worth it. If you know the right times to pop in, however, you can walk right up without any wait. Prices are beyond reasonable. I will get a box of stuff and it will be around $20. Great place to take a date if they don't mind a little bit of a crowd from time to time. Highly recommend brocato's. I will continue to be a patron as long as possible. I'm literally leaving the bakery now with the bag full of goodies.

The epitome of local love and hospitality. Their ice is absolutely fantastic and always with the ripest in season fruit. Their baked goods are delicious and service is fantastic. Hope they're in business another 120 years. Nothing comes close.

Ice cream shop
Ice Cream 504 is a charming ice cream spot nestled in the Freret Corridor on Jenna Street. They offer a variety of homemade, small-batch flavors made with fresh ingredients, such as chocolate, peppermint, butter pecan, strawberry, peach, and blueberry. The shop is open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 p.m., serving up healthy treats without preservatives or artificial additives.
Now at first glance this may look like any other ice cream but it isn’t- this is a small piece of Heaven wrapped in the most delicious waffle cone ever 🤤 REAL HOMEMADE ICE CREAM and BOY can you taste the difference!! I had the special Father’s Day flavor “Bourbon St Daddy” and MY GOD 🙌🏽 it was the most creamy, buttery, smooth ice cream I’ve ever had! I paired it with the butter pecan and it was literally the best experience of my entire trip to New Orleans. It was here I also discovered what a snowball is and I’m just so disappointed to have not had this treat sooner in life…the texture of the ice paired with the delicious flavors of cherry and pink lemonade is AMAZING!! The atmosphere here is so friendly and kind- felt like home in a different city. Michael is very sweet and down to earth. The customer service was top tier and the patrons were just as friendly. This is a gem and I will forever come back here. I can’t wait to bring my kids one day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Bridgette R — Google review
What a cute little place. And I do mean little. It's a tiny house with an ice cream and snowball shop inside. They make the waffle cones fresh. Literally, they make them when you order! Mori had Valilla. Bill had Chocolate. I had the chocolate with vanilla and toffee brickle on top. It was DELICIOUS. There are 2 little tables outside and a few little tables inside. The mini booth seats are so charming. The three of us sat at a table with a booth seat and two chairs. It was perfect. My only disappointment was that the Creole Cream Cheese ice cream was sold out. So, you know what that means. I'll have to go back. YUMMY
Dara P — Google review
Okay so this place is truly a gem - definitely the best ice cream in New Orleans! Vanilla toffee, butter pecan, strawberry cheesecake, and coffee are all 10/10. And the made to order waffle cone is delightful! Shout out to the awesome owner, Michael and the local cat, Mr. Brown. Go today, don’t delay.
Banan I — Google review
We were welcomed by the owner, Michael and he was awesome, delightful and super attentive. Gregg was funny and helpful and the samples were more than what we needed. Expectacular customer service, and flavor was out of this world amazing. A must come back for us and highly recommend if you are in the area. Just loved it💯
Gilda C — Google review
I have never had an experience with ice cream like this in my life. The ice cream is made in house with flavors like no other. I've had coffee ice cream before, but not like the coffee ice cream at Ice Cream 504. I've had waffle bowls before, but not like the waffle bowls at Ice Cream 504. The ice cream is made from scratch and it was the freshest ice cream I have ever had. The waffle bowl was not too sweet and you could tell that it was not made from artificial ingredients. It had the right amount of crunch. It was perfect! Then, the most important part of a good experience, the customer service, was superb! The employee was so proud of his product, and his expertise made the ice cream more intriguing. I will definitely visit again because the blueberry basil ice cream is just as worth the calories as the coffee ice cream.
Jasmin J — Google review
Incredible ice cream and even better service! Michael and Greg were so funny and helpful. We were able to try all the flavors we wanted, which made the decision on what we wanted even harder because all the flavors were amazing. The banana pudding ice cream was absolutely bomb. Go give this place a try!
Rebeca V — Google review
What a delightful little place! A friend and I stopped by and were greeted by the owner and ice cream maker extraordinaire. We each tried several flavors and ended up with a scoop each of Blimey (blueberry lime) and vanilla toffee. To hear Michael talk about his ice cream is to feel the pride he takes making and serving the best possible. This is delicious ice cream!

Thank You Mr. Michael ! Try the Blimey/Mango Sorbet! Onsite / on-street parking! In door and outdoor seating. Handicap accessible. Good music. Good vibes. This is a must try and possibly, an addiction. 1 love!

Ice cream shop
Laozi Ice Cream, pronounced like "lousy," is a unique frozen treat created by Salvatore Caruso, also known as Ice Cream Sam. After overcoming a long battle with addiction, he learned the art of making ice cream from a pastry chef. Laozi Ice Cream introduces new flavors every Wednesday at 10:30 p.m., such as the Prytania Theatre tribute featuring sea salt and buttered popcorn custard with various toppings.
The best ice cream I’ve ever had, which says a lot from someone who didn’t care much about ice cream before having this! Now I compare every other ice cream to this and have yet to find anything better! The flavors are delicious and unique, the names and labels are always creative add fun. I look forward to the menu drops and rarely miss one. Worth every penny! The owner is also pretty cool! 😊
Anne M — Google review
All the reviews are true. The quality of this ice cream is so high that with self-restraint, a pint of this richness lasts in my freezer for a solid few weeks. I also love the collaborative, artistic space and story behind the development of Laozi. Very much looking forward to how it evolves with time. If you've been hesitant of waiting to try it, CONSIDER THIS YOUR SIGN! New flavors routinely. The Camper's Delight and Coconut Lavender are too delicious to compare to one another. As long as his devotion to art &quality persists, Sal will have a lifelong fan out of me.
Kaari A — Google review
Omg. If you’re an ice cream lover, this is a must! I had the Shuffle Peanut butter and since it was 90F out, they lent us 2 spoons. Only available in pints but soooo worth the trip. Great folks working hard to produce the best ice cream!
J R — Google review
Absolutely the best ice cream I have ever had in the US, if not the entire world. I have had the strawberry, butter pecan, pistachio, chocolate, and different vanillas. They are all sensational. Laozi used to be in the back of the old Blue Dot Donuts, but they moved down Canal into the old Church Alley Cafe site.
David S — Google review
Laozi Ice Cream is the best. It’s not just the best in New Orleans, it’s the best. Sam is the best, and he whips up the craziest flavors ever. I brought my daughter to the shop, and she tried just about every ice cream he’s ever made. Legend. He drops new flavors all the time, and every single flavor is incredible. If you haven’t eaten Laozi Ice Cream yet, you’re slippin’.
Kevin C — Google review
Amazing small batch ice cream that you should get your hands on! They currently offer a couple flavors a week, so check their Instagram for those flavors and info on how to order/pickup!
Vijay R — Google review
I bought this ice cream to support a local business. I was ELATED when I tried it, and it was the best ice cream I have ever had. Hands down. Thanks!
Allison — Google review
One of the few things that has helped to save me from debilitating hopelessness during the pandemic has been ice cream. I've tried all of what New Orleans has to offer, and Laozi is the best. His custard is unparalleled, the perfect decadent creaminess to serve as the medium for his various fun flavor. His choices are always inventive, well-crafted and often nostalgic. No two are exactly alike & many have sold out in minutes. The best part of this product is that you can tell it has been created with love. This is the kind of ice cream you don't have to think too hard about it, just get some, you won't be disappointed. And if it's not your thing, I'll gladly take it off your hands.

Drip Affogato Bar NOLA is a chic and modern spot in New Orleans, offering a delightful dessert experience. They specialize in creative pairings of ice cream and hot drinks, inspired by the traditional Italian dessert, affogato. The concept revolves around the art of coffee drip combined with a variety of decadent artisanal ice cream flavors.
I absolutely adored this dessert spot! A fabulous spot in the CBD. The experience starts when you see it from the outside. So charming and cute. The inside is so.fabulous and we'll designed. Very artsy and fun! I love trying new coffee spots and they do amazing affogatos! It was the perfect "last night in New Orleans" spot.

Have amazing (and boozy) dessert in an incredible atmosphere. Try a flight of ice cream - boozy or not. They have great drinks, yummy desserts and super nice servers. Perfect for a cozy night out. You can make reservations and they have a small outdoor seating area. This is on my “must do list” for all future trips. Bonus tip? Try the gigantic cotton candy, cherry flavored is my favorite.
Kimberly S — Google review
This is an absolute hidden little gem. Love the lounge vibe. People were nice and the ambiance was great. I sat at the bar and had a great time. I came in for the affogato but when i got there i discovered they have so much more!!!! I had just had dinner, so i didn't eat but i would've loved the chance to come back. Their menu has small bites, like a cheese board. And if you want something more, they have ravioli too! But now, the star of the night.... their affogato.... they have several options to choose from and you can have them boozy or not. I recommend boozy, bcuz why not. Live a little. Oh, and they have a full bar, so have yourself one of their original cocktails too! This is a must try!
Rebeca A — Google review
Drip is definitely a vibe! The atmosphere is inviting and laid-back, and the drinks are top-notch. I just wish the desserts gave me a little more, but overall, it’s a solid 9/10 — the perfect spot for a late-night drink and snack!
Lizette K — Google review
Fun little place that serves desserts and drinks. We had a Gelato, and a delicious dessert called panna cotta brulee that was vanilla ice cream with blueberries, cherries and peach with flan. I also ordered a cocktail called the quarters. Carson was great had good suggestions. Fun decor. Wished the music hadn't been quite so loud.
Pink G — Google review
update after ratchet owner replied: its not a fake review i have the charges for $40 and pictures i took inside the place. i also got charged twice. make it right and give me my money back everything was great, but got charged $6 for grat when it was a party of 2. $40 total for 2 scoops of icecream is absolutely ridiculous. was going to come back but definitely will not be back, feeling like i got scammed.
Aiden L — Google review
Really chill place! The service, atmosphere, and art work were fantastic. The espresso poured over the gelato is phenomenal. There are dairy free options which is a huge plus. My sister and I had a super fun time! Oh and there's a secret garden room that I didn't post pics of. You'll have to see for yourself how cool it truly is!!

Parish Parlor is a new addition to the scene, born during the pandemic when its owners found themselves without jobs. Located on Magazine St., it's a great spot to cool off while exploring local shops. This French-style ice cream shop in the Lower Garden District offers seasonal flavors made with local ingredients, including options for vegans and those who prefer alternative milk-based treats.
Easy to miss on the little triangle where Magazine splits off toward Camp street, this cute gelato place has some great flavors and awesome waffle cones. There are a handful of small tables inside and out.
David F — Google review
This is the place to get ice cream in the Garden District. They have really interesting flavors and none disappoint. I got a small with the bananas foster and wedding cake, and both were really creamy and rich in flavor. The taste of that bananas foster will probably stay with me for life, highly recommend!
Sara L — Google review
So good!!! Homemade flavors. The mint chocolate chip and lavender London fog were a great pair in a double scoop cup, And the peach plus salted caramel were both so good too! The mint was so refreshing. They have designated gluten free and also vegan flavors. And they give samples to help you choose flavors. The location is so cute and inviting. The air was nice too! The man who helped us was kind and informative. I would definitely recommend! It was so delicious.
Kathryn F — Google review
This is by far my favorite ice cream spot in town! I love all the rich seasonal flavors, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. One thing I love is on top of being locally sourced and owned is that they host incredible fundraisers for the community and deeply care about their neighbors. If I could rate them six stars, I would!
Meena H — Google review
Good fable selections, with good taste. I had the mint and the double chocolate. The mint was really fresh with real mint in it, highly recommended. The double chocolate was rich with pieces of chocolate in it, also recommend. The inside looks nice, unfortunately there is no indoor seating. They did give free samples but the workers didn’t seem happy to help or talk about the flavours.

I asked my 7 yr old son to write this review, because why not! ☺️ “It's perfect and it has big ice cream 🍨 it's fun, the cones🍦are huge, there are two types of cones: regular and gingerbread. I had vanilla ice cream and it was great. 😋 My mom had salted caramel and it looked great too”
Arda K — Google review
Heavenly small batch ice cream with traditional and unique flavors. My partner had a scoop of the Pecan Pie while I chose the Lavender London Fog. Sublime! The cones are thick, crunchy, sugary, delicious and didn't crumble or leak! Perfect treat for a date on Magazine Street! Two single scoop cones were just over $12 plus I added an 18% gratuity.

This was a “new-to-me” place I noticed while walking down Magazine Street. I’d just had lunch, but no dessert, so a look and some ice cream seemed like a pretty good idea. Very clean, cute place. I loved the blue and white color scheme. Kelsey, the young woman working was very pleasant and believe she said the place had been open for less than two years. I asked for her ice cream flavor recommendation, and she offered, “Toasted Coconut Dark Chocolate Ganache Swirl”, so that’s what I got. I mean, doesn’t that sound delicious? It was!

This place is adorable. And the owner is a sweetheart. I was visiting for my 1 year anniversary and she treated us to a delicious cappuccino. The Melon Gelato and blueberry were abs9lutely amazing. The Baklava was very walnut forward. Amazing and will be back later in the week!

We love this place! We discovered a few weeks ago. The flavors are so rich and creamy. It’s very unique, very Italian. The person working there has always been kind to us. My kids are all over the place and she greets them all the time. The decoration is cute too! A lot of bears making the place very cozy. We will continue to go there!

My new favorite ice cream polar. They make it right i front of you. Its don't melt fast. I just love the place. They also have games for you to play while you're waiting. Its usually about a 3 to 4 for them to make it. Its cool
Nay C — Google review
Nice staff but not enough of them. They were super busy with customers and Uber orders coming through. We had to wait about 10 minutes just to place an order. They sell rolled ice cream and snowballs. Prices are $6.50 for the rolled ice cream. Prices vary for the snowballs. It took like 30 minutes to get our ice cream order. The staff was super nice but it appeared to be all teenagers with no real leadership on the floor.

This was my first time having a rolled ice cream. The experience was awesome and the desserts were even better. If you haven't been, I HIGHLY recommend it. Very cool vibes and employees.

Finally made it & the coast was clear. 75 degrees and balmy; and the Freezy 'My Thai' ice cream for the bill for ice cream goodness. Love the nature/disposition of the employees. Friendly, patient & accommodating. Love the selection of pre made creations available. Cost is a little above the norm, but consider the process & the creation... So Worth it

Fun, delicious and entertaining! The iced coffee is delicious, and a great deal. Our wait wasn't long, but I expect this place to continue to be popular so bring your patient shoes because it's worth waiting for.
Jessica P — Google review
Ice cream is great. Service is more interested in chatting with their friends than waiting on customers. Then when they were finally finished the manager pulled them off taking orders so no one was there for the line if seven people. Don't know if I'd waste my time trying again.
Chris T — Google review
The staff is very personable and the ice cream was high quality, presented in an imaginative way. My only complaint is the length of the wait. There were 2 of us and we had to wait for the server to do the sundaes one at a time, so I was half finished with mine before my son got his. Staff needs to work on organization & efficiency.
IntrepidTeach — Google review
Went way out the way with groceries in the truck to get some quick ice cream for desert but there was a 45 min wait we found out after waiting in line for at least 15 min before that. They did not have many ice cream flavors or combinations I think I would have liked anyways. We rolled out and got a sunday from mc donalds next door. An hour wait for ice cream. No thanks. We will just go to marble slab or cold stone next time plus they have many options and even with long lines they still go quick. Some people may enjoy this but for us we did not get to try it nor will we.

Such a pretty bakery. Love the soft pink walls and simple decor. It’s elegant. Walked in to check out carrot cake and ended up with Macaroons. They were delicious! Well done. Coming back again. Friendly staff.

Service is so freaking amazing, but the dessert was sickening, sweet.. I was only able to get through two bites. I had the lavender bar, and I honestly couldn't do more than 2 bites to an entire bottle of water. The young ladies know their stuff and offered great suggestions. If you have a sweet tooth and non diabetic then this place is for you.

The handcrafted confections such as mochi waffles and donuts are particularly popular for cheat days.
I love their banana’s foster ice cream and biscoff flavors. At first their spam musubi looked like it had too much rice but the spam is well marinated and permeates through the rice giving it more flavor. Friendly workers and the owner was pleasant to talk to the few times I ran into him.
Reginald S — Google review
It was okay. The lay out/order flow is kind of awkward and confusing. Vietnamese coffee was mostly ice, about 75% ice. The sando fruit sandwich didn’t live up to its name. It wasn’t sweet like a sando fruit sandwich is suppose to be. Ice cream was okay. The noodles were an 11/10. They were so good I wanted to get seconds. Highly recommend the noodles.
Daniel G — Google review
The ice cream and cookies were pretty good actually, but this space is way too cramped and the customer service could be better. Its not bad service,it just seems like there's chaos when the place is busy. It took a while before we were acknoledged by any of the workers, but they were responsive when engaged. Check out was also a little hectic as it looked like the guy checking us out was also doing other stuff. We're definitely coming back because the stuff we got was awesome. It just seems like they don't do so well when they get slammed

Great place to get food, dessert, and drinks around New Orleans. They have every dessert you can think of; I was too dim from dinner to try more items like their cookies! I got the cereal matcha and it was great, a bit sweet but that’s expected. I’d come back! Highly recommend!
Alex N — Google review
Sweet HandKraft was okay overall. The shop was cute and the girl who took my order was really nice. I ordered a crème brûlée to go. The dessert tasted fine, but what threw me off was how it was handed to me. It was raining outside, and they gave it to me with no spoon, no napkin, and not even a small bag or container — just straight in my hand. There were tools in between the cashier but she was checking out customers, it was inconvenient for me to squeeze in. It’s not that they have to give a bag, but it just felt like there was no thought put into the fact that I’d need something to actually eat it or carry it out. It felt rushed, that part made the experience feel a little careless.

I already can't wait to go back here as I'm finished eating my food. Cute little shop with nice staff and amazing food. The Bulgogi Egg Toast was phenomenal. The Vietnam iced coffee (added a salted cream cloud with no regrets) was tas👏🏻ty👏🏻. And the pièce de résistance: the dark chocolate sea salt caramel chip cookie 🏆 it's a mouthful, and I mean that in at least 4 ways- I'm going to have to get it every visit now.

Despite potential wait times due to its popularity, many find the experience worth it once they indulge in the delicious treats offered.
This place is awesome! There are so many goodies to try! I loved the street corn topped with cheese and butter, SO delicious. The Mangonada was interesting. I liked the flavors, and it was perfectly sweet and salty. It's a great place to go when you have the munchies.

I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. It was such an explosion of different flavor and mix of contrast of sweet/sour/tangy/spicy. I didn't expect that of ice cream. The place itself was decent, the table was shaky though. It was an interesting experience overall. I don't think I'll come back more though.

Dubai chocolate ice cream was such a different take and unique experience it was nutty and crunchy with the right hint or chocolate. I loved it. The eloite on the chip chef kiss. Cheese corn and the crunch of the chip took it over the top. It is such a hot spot at night and a great place to just hang out with friends. Teenagers would love it.

Firstly the food and pastries that they sell are so good, another things is that they are very clean. Never in the days that I’ve visited this store has there been any dirty tables or sticky floors. They are super clean and super nice. I don’t understand why people want to spread misinformation about them, I’ve had a great experience with them 10/10 would go every day ❤️
NovDox — Google review
I come here often and its always very good. The reason for the two star rating is solely because the employees at this location always seem to have attitudes and are very rude! Like will it kill you to smile?! Are even simply say “thank you” after I leave a very generous tip?? Also the music is often so loud that the employees can’t hear me speak and often get my order wrong. And I mean its like that EVERY SINGLE TIME. But overall good food just avoid this location and go to one of the other locations if you want a more friendly service.

My favorite thing to do in a new town is always to hunt out a local ice cream shop. Lucy's showed up with high ratings and it did not disappoint! The woman who helped us was so sweet. A cute ice cream shop in New Orleans!🍦 I had this on my list of places to eat at during my trip, and a local ended up recommending it to me as well (so I had to go)! Atmosphere: The shop is located at a small outdoor outlet and has a clean and colorful interior. My favorite part about the space was their letter wall of the ice cream flavors they serve. Service: The people here are kind and let me try a few of the flavors before deciding on what I wanted. Menu items: I got their Key Lime Pie and Peanut Butter (if I remember correctly) flavors for my double scoop waffle cone! If you’re looking for a dessert spot in NOLA, come visit this small batch ice cream shop! The business is family owned and operated, so they produce and distribute their own products!🍨

Delicious ice cream. Rich and creamy with interesting favors. The sampler box is such a great idea. Choose 4 scoops served in a container that separates each in its own section. Unfortunately forgot to take a photo of it. They also have ice cream sandwiches and bars. Truly one of the best ice creams I have had.
Kathy D — Google review
The worst ice cream I have eaten. The texture of the ice cream stretched like marshmallow goo. They obviously do not know how to make ice cream with a texture like that. Then, on the inside of the building, they had placed two plants in a horrible location as though the plants were inferior objects with no pulse. Then they actually have a shelf of merchandise. Note to the owner: Get rid of the merchandise shelf and position the plants to a better location. Also, make a better ice cream base that doesn't have elasticity.

Where’s the vanilla bean? Like so many poorly run rest businesses they start out great and they start cheating customers. They advertise vanilla bean ice cream however there is no bean in this ice cream. It went from the very best ice cream to tasteless yuk. Could not even finish it. Very disappointing to say the least. Hansen's Sno-Bliz is a cherished family-owned sno-ball stand that has been delighting visitors since 1939. Nestled in the heart of New Orleans, this iconic spot is renowned for its incredibly soft shaved ice and an impressive array of homemade syrups, featuring unique flavors like ginger and cardamom. The moment you walk through the charming wooden screen doors, you're welcomed by a warm atmosphere and friendly service that makes you feel right at home.
I recently visited Hansen's Sno-Bliz after seeing it featured on Samantha Brown's Places to Love, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The snowballs here are not only affordable but also packed with incredible flavor. I ordered the Wild Cherry, and it was fantastic — rich, vibrant, and perfectly sweet. What really sets Hansen's apart is the texture of their snow — it's unbelievably soft and fluffy, just like real snow. You can really taste (and feel) the care they put into every snowball. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious treat!

Amazing! Unlike any other snow cone I have ever had. The texture of the ice is like powder and the syrups are unique and flavorful. We had honey-lavender and passion fruit, and another with honey lavender and hibiscus. (Both were gluten free)

Such a cool concept and this was a really nice place to go on a super hot day here in New Orleans! Good: - Huge portion sizes - for $6 you get more ice cream than you can eat for 1 person - Fast service, and the staff were so nice! They also let us try the flavors before finalizing our choice - The strawberry shortcake flavor was delicious. I did feel like the shaved ice kind of tasted like ice cream and not just a typical shaved ice. It's creamy for some reason but it's just ice! Bad: - There's limited outdoor seating so you end up just standing around unless 1 of the benches free up Overall this was such a cool experience! I liked how we found this place on one of the hottest days in New Orleans and it automatically cooled us down.

Listen yall I’m not a huge snocone person but THIS is the spot !! You have to come here and get one yourself just to know the caliber of treat you’re dealing with . The snow is so soft, melts in your mouth. The flavors are hand crafted and off the chain. I’m genuinely perplexed how they get such a depth of flavor into these syrups . I got a thai tea / pandan/ cream of matcha sno and my wife got two: one blue bubblegum (she’s from cali says it gives her nostalgia) and one satsuma passion fruit which she loves , is very refreshing I mean the flavor combos are crazy n endless. Def make this one of your NOLA staples

@tableformaddie on instagram!! This place screams culture & tradition!! I know your thinking, its just a sno ball.. youre right. But is the ice too crunchy?! Or very smooth?? The Turtle fudge was so rich and delicious, I regret not grabbing a second slice! Even the plain chocolate fudge is rich and delicious! Overall this place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Very friendly staff even when it started to get busy. I also enjoyed watching some of the process through the window in the front after I left the store! - May 2025

We were walking down Canal St. and fell into this gem of a place. Love Love Love the White Chocolate covered 🍓's....EXCELLENT!!! The Caramel and Chocolate Covered Apples looked delightful!!! Everything looks so fresh. If you want a sweet treat, try Kilwins!! ~Sadie

I stumbled upon Kilwins while walking near Bourbon Street, and it quickly became one of the highlights of my trip! The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the rich, sweet aroma of freshly made treats—and I couldn’t resist the candied apples. They were absolutely amazing: crisp, perfectly coated, and made fresh daily. I honestly treated myself to one every day I was in town! The shop itself is charming and spotless, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were happy to answer questions and even offered samples of their fudge and ice cream. Everything looked delicious, and it was hard not to leave with a little bit of everything. Kilwins is a must-visit if you have a sweet tooth and find yourself in New Orleans. It’s the kind of place that brings out your inner kid—and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

We stopped in for a sweet treat after dinner and my son wanted icecream. When Izabelle took his order, I let her know he had a nut allergy and asked if she could use a fresh scoop. Not only did she do that, she went to the back to scoop his icecream out of a fresh container so there was no risk of cross contamination. THANK YOU IZABELLE for going above and beyond on a busy Thursday night!!

Very sorry that the experience wasn't great. Left with two chocolate dipped waffle cones that immediately went in the trash uneaten. Unsure if the late hours were to blame, still a bit of traffic in the store but not terribly busy. Ignored by staff, unsure how to order, asked to try a flavor, instead was packed into my cone that had not set yet, and unfortunately was not a flavor that I could eat. My partners cone then completely imploded and everything in his cone hit the ground. I was in tears, as our now 2 cone $30 purchase was rushed, unsatisfactory and now in the garbage. Three days we've been looking for good ice cream to finish our evening stroll. This wasn't it. Not great for late night if you're looking for an experience.

Kilwin’s is a great collection of candies, fudge, caramel corn, ice cream and more. For us the hardest part is decided which of the treats to have. The waffle cones and waffle bowls full of ice cream are my favorite. The service is surprisingly quick, given the number of people coming through. The staff is friendly and everything I have had is very good.

A lot of sweets available. They have all sorts of sweets and most of them are chocolate. They also have ice cream and cutesy wrapped souvenirs. People are nice. They decorated the store very well. Only a few seats available, but overall the store is pretty big.

Frey Smoked Meat Co., located in a happening, rustic setting at 4141 Bienville Street, offers a family-friendly atmosphere with big plates of tasty, smoky barbecue. The clean and polished setting in the semi-suburban Mid-City Marketplace provides convenient parking and space for kids to run around. The menu features pork belly, sausage, beef rib platters, and indulgent milkshakes like the Cookie Monster and Nutella Reeses.
Sylina had a great personality and provided superb service. The food was phenomenal. We'll definitely return when we visit New Orleans, again.

OMG the chicken sandwich with the white sauce is incredible. Everything is fresh and delicious. Made to order. I’ve got a lot of exploring to do with this place I can tell. Thanks for everything. Very accommodating. WHOOPS - Unfortunately my review dropped to one star because Melissa swiped my card twice & blocked almost $100 for a $30 meal and was really unapologetic about the whole situation. There’s a lotta good smoked meat places around. Don’t come here.

The hot fried chicken sandwich was very small for $15.50 and not very sweet or spicy. At least the fries were good and crispy. But overall wish I had just gone to chick-fil-a.

Spacious BBQ place in New Orleans. Great service, good portioned meals from sandwiches, wings, bbq meats and more. The milkshake was the most attractive dessert. Nice selection of drinks. Service was great.
Eugenia K — Google review
Frey Smoked Meat Co. is a warm food spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with this western wood theme that I enjoy from smokehouses and bbq spots. I've eaten here twice, and both times the food was just "alright" and the service was just "alright" as well. Service wise during my first visit, the hostess was polite and offered me seating options. I chose outdoor, but I wasn't acknowledged by a waitress until 11 minutes later. The waitress did apologize citing she thought I was waiting for a to-go order, though she never asked. Second visit, the waitress was not engaged, enthusiastic, or offering of basic condiments and such, until the check came. She never checked in on me for any needs or even a drink refill, unfortunately. First visit, I purchased the bbq platter with fries and brussels sprouts for the sides. The fries are not my thing as these are sort of those frozen battered fries. The brussels sprouts were fired perfectly and gorgeous, but very bitter. The smoked meat was not barely warm. Second visit, I purchased the buffalo burger and wings. The burger was alright and was really salty. The wings were perfect! Also, really clean restaurant. At this point, I can't say I recommend Frey Smoked Meat Co. as the food was just "alright" and the service, the same. I do plan on visiting once more to check out the creative milkshakes!

The food is amazing!!!! I love love love the fried ribs and corn bread ! The fries are good .... I will definitely be back ! The brisket was really tender and so were the St. Louis ribs. The pulled pork was just okay. The service was great and the waitress was very attentive.
Xaundra H — Google review
The hot honey chicken is where it’s at. Absolutely incredible and that’s with the coleslaw and the aioli taken off. (I then put the aioli on and it made it just as good too). The fries leave nothing to be desired UNTIL you had that brisket chili on top, then the fries went from meh to MINE. The pulled pork was ok and got a little bit better once I added a bunch of bbq and sriracha aioli to it. (I’ve yet to find a pulled pork sandwich that’s truly impressed me). Last and certainly least, was the max and cheese. The presentation was great but I wasn’t impressed by it at all. DEFINITELY COME HERE AND GET THAT HOT HONEY CHICKEN SANDWICH THOUGH.
Albert R — Google review
I have been here before and it was amazing! I just recently went again and it was eh. The pork is dry and covered in sauce. If you have to cover it in sauce it's probably because it's dry. I prefer my BBQ sauce free. I'm trying to avoid sugar and other not so great ingredients like seed oils. The brisket was great, though. I recommend you get that if you go there.

Nestled in the vibrant Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans, Plum Street Snowballs is a charming vintage stand that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 1945. Open from March through October, this beloved spot boasts an impressive menu featuring over 50 unique sno-ball flavors, including classics like Ice Cream and Wedding Cake. Each treat is served in a whimsical Chinese take-out pail, adding to the nostalgic experience.
Very neat place and employees, was given a very generous amount of flavoring on my snow cone which I notice almost is never the case at other snow cone places, the employees are also very nice and welcoming.

This place was so cute! The prices were fair and the flavors were vast. FYI, there is no indoor seating, it’s more like a window order and sit or go. We got the souvenir cups so we can always remember our trip there, but they do sell them in the to go cartons which is a cute touch. Highly recommend finding and trying this small-town feel, local gem!

Our family absolutely loves Plum Street Snowballs. My husband’s grandparents had their first date here, so it feels very full circle that we now visit with our own family. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly, always making you feel welcome. Our family’s favorite flavors are blackberry cream, strawberry cheesecake, and mint, but you truly can’t go wrong with any of them. We look forward to making many more memories at Plum Street for years to come.

I was so excited to try Plum Street only to be sooooo let down. if i’m paying $9.75 my snowball should have some syrup! this thing was dryer than a desert! sure the condensed milk was delicious but that was only .25 worth! for all the hype i hear this was such a bust. i added a photo because i need yall to see the hard ice i was given. my friend asked for light syrup and hers was juicy! bet you can’t even tell i ordered two flavors!

DISAPPOINTED TODAY - Hello - As a loyal customer & hospitality worker, I just wanted to let you know that the young lady that was there today around 5pm or so that was filling the cups with ice was not friendly! She had on a pink shirt. But the other 2 ladies that were on the register as well as putting the syrup on were very kind. I understand they were hot and probably frustrated but paying customers should never experience not being treated kindly. We didn’t even get a hello. She just rudely asked us what size. It wasn’t even crowded as normal for her to act that way. Thx for reading but please remind them we are paying customers.

Pandora's Snowballs is a popular spot known for its wide variety of flavors of snowballs, including fruit and cream options like Cajun Red Hot and Tootsie Roll. In addition to their signature shaved ice treats, the shop also offers soft serve ice cream and savory items like nachos, hamburgers, and hot sausage. Located conveniently near City Park, this establishment has garnered a reputation for its creamy and indulgent soft serve ice cream that comes in classic as well as unique flavors.
I was in the mood for a snoball today. It was hot but still breezy, so initially, we stopped over at Plum Street snoballs, but they were closed to enjoy the festivities. It was difficult to find parking, driveways, cones blocking sections- ALL that. We finally found somewhere to park then we had to wait in a looong line. As I said b4 it was hot & the sun was BEAMING!🥵 We placed our orders & then we had to wait until our snowballs were made. Luckily the waiting area for the people that ordered already was in a shady area which was a RELIEF. We got our snoballs & they were Great! I had the Dreamsicle flavor in LARGE. Bae got his in MEDIUM in Cucumber Melon & Peach. He said the cucumber melon really didn't have much flavor tho. Anyway it was a great escape from the heat even if it was only for awhile. Thanks Pandora!

I was born and raised in New Orleans. We live out of state. Over the last four years of visiting we always place Pandora on the top of the list. It’s very sad that this place is always closed and the google hours are never update. After 4 attempts we finally got a snowball. Update to your reply: Your business is not the only snowball stand open year around. Due to being a small business I will not name others around the city. I worked for several snowball companies around the city as a youth. I know when the season is. Secondly, you might want to take a better approach when replying to your customers. If you would have been more concerned in explaining the transition, I would have updated my review. Next time, try explaining and asking the reviewer to update or delete the negative review. Please do not worry. We will never return to your business and this is the main issue with the city, nobody wants to improve processes. When given feedback, the customer gets attacked. This is nothing personal. I am a small business owner myself. Wishing you the best with your small business venture.

You MUST try this community staple for nachos or a snowball whenever you are in New Orleans. Delicious and tasty treats to cool down your day. So many flavors and options to choose from.

A Sweet Treat for the Summer Heat Part 1 Read Time 1-3 mins I decided to drive over to the New Orleans’s Famous Pandora’s and to my surprise I was pleasantly pleased. I needed a cool sugar boost after my City Park workout and boy did this not disappoint. I arrived to a strategically placed corner spot building with on street parking. It was so easy to spot and the long line was a dead giveaway that these snowballs had to be delicious. I quickly found a street park and got in line. The line moved expeditiously and I was greeted with a warm smile to take my order when it was time. I’m a fan of watermelon as a summer treat so I choose watermelon and lime for a cool refreshing sweet treat. The price was a little bit more than usual for a snowball but hey quality and location tends to up the price in any situation. Now to the main attraction the snowball. First let me start by saying. WOW! I took an immediate sip and had to close my eyes to savor the moment. The syrup was sweet but not too sweet and it was more than enough to cover the ice. After that first sip I had to take a spoonful of snowball and the ice melted in my mouth to my satisfaction. I love Pandora’s and can’t wait to try other flavors and maybe even an ice cream. All I can say is cheers to you and as I sip on the last bits of my soft sweet snowball. Jeanne’ Jasmine Thompson IG: itsjayjasmine

One of my favorite snowball stands. My favorite flavor combination is grape and lemon-lime. I call it a Hulk. If there is something better on a blazing hot New Orleans day than a snowball, I don't know what it is.

Def worth it! My favs thus far have been: - raspberry with coconut ice cream - passion fruit and guava with coconut ice cream

As much as I normally love this place, I just got a pinecolda snowball with condensed milk and they drenched the ice in so much syrup and condensed milk it became slushy. Not hard to make a snowball and this was not it
Nevaeh T — Google review
I usually love this snowball stand. The quality of the ice, flavors and service are great. I decided to try Dreamsicle today and other than the color, there’s nothing orange about it. It’s entirely vanilla and like drinking vanilla coffee syrup. I really wanted the orange flavor on this hot summer day. I noticed it at first before I left but thought the flavor would change or taste the orange as I worked my way through the snowball but that wasn’t the case and it missed the mark. Not a flavor I would recommend.

This is the BEST ice cream shop you can find. It has a combination of local charm and flavor, the premium ingredient and quality, and the nice people you can see in the shop. Went here a few days ago with a friend after I said we should go out for ice cream. When I tell you I had THE BEST ice cream here! They give you a warm welcome when you enter and the shop is clean and inviting. Their flavors are so unique and different. But hands down that lemon citron flavor is a DREAM! She said her hubby actually makes the lemon curd and I could taste the love! (I also had a season strawberry sorbet that was chefs kiss). It was so yummy! This will be a stop for me each time I visit from now on. Flavor. Friendliness. And excellent prices. Can’t be beat.

There's a reason why this is almost a perfect 5 on the reviews! Ken (the proprietor) was a great host - shared his approach to making ice cream while I enjoyed two scoops. Lucky enough it wasn't busy yet during the evening. Mud Bayou - creamy with great chunks of chocolate, the difference in texture made this fun to eat. Mona Lisa - get this! Right mix of lavender to really make this a unique flavor you won't get elsewhere. High quality, everything done on site (no melting/re-freezing) and hand-crafted. Hard to beat.

Great place! Ice cream is creamy and unique. I got two of them and loved both. I met one of the owners, and he was super nice. They have vegan options, dairy-free options, and ices as well. I loved their flavors! Coffee, florals (lavender was great!), chocolate, lemon, and more. Parking is a beast, but in the French Quarter it always will be. I recommend you visit them though!

Nola Mia Gelato Cafe is a charming spot in the Quarter known for its gelato and espresso. While some have found the espresso to be lacking, the friendly staff make up for it with their hospitality. The paninis can be hit or miss, with some finding them soggy, but the eggplant Parmesan and Greek salad are recommended. For those craving New York-style pizza, Nola Mia's Margherita pizza is a standout choice with its thin, crispy crust.
NolaMia is my neighborhood staple. Ive gone for dine in, take out, during slow summer and busy parade seasons and it’s always the best around. Highly recommend supporting small business.

I found both pizza & ice cream, sorry, gelato to be very good! Pizza had a hard crust. Easy to pick up and fold without the point getting curved. Ingredients were good and overall flavorsome. I started with 1 slice of Premierie and even if wasn't planning to eat that much that convinced me to have a second slice, this one with chicken and some cheese that seemed ricotta. The gelato was tasty and the 2 scoops generous.

This pizza here was delicious. Atmosphere, perfect. Service, excellent. However, I have deducted two stars for being charged $3 more than what was advertised. I don't mind paying more for delicious food. But don't be shady about it. The paper menu said $24, the board menu behind the register said $23/24 (I can't remember exactly) and their website said $23. Why were we charged $26? This is the kind of stuff that has me questioning what else they're lying about. I understand changing the paper menus takes time. But the chalk menu board takes 10 minutes. Disappointing.

From our first Nola Mia Gelato Cafe delivery order, I think we've finally found the closest thing to New York style pizza in the Bywater and beyond. New to the neighborhood, my spouse and I moved to NOLA in 2003, after about a decade in Manhattan – where there's a mom and pop pizza store on every corner. We had two on our block. Ever since, we've sought out those large and wide slices with the thin, crispy, foldable crusts we crave. We keep going back to the Margherita pizza. The only Nola Mia pizza we've tried so far that we don't care for is their Italian sausage – first with ricotta, and more recently on the Supreme pizza (by accident) – both times it was gamey tasting. We had to remove it.

My second time in a week. My eggplant Parm last week was better than this week. Both of the paninis we ordered. were soggy on the inside. For me makes it impossible to enjoy as I don't like soggy stuff. The chicken on our chicken Parm was overcooked, dry, and had a mild scorched taste like it was shallow fried in a pan and the bits of the breading were beginning to burn. It was cooked way too long to be so thin. Had mango peach Italian soda again, that was good. Had a Greek salad with chicken last week. It was very good the chicken was fresh flavorful and juicy. My Eggplant Parm sandwich last week was very good too. I posted some older photos (June 27, 2021) of my first visit. That time my pizza was overcooked so it took me close to two years to try them again and I am across the street hungry every Sunday night. I am going to try the Pizza one more time and do an update. Hopefully, it's better than the first time. I need a go-to place to eat when I am in the area.

Sweet Rolls Ice Cream offers a unique and delightful experience for ice cream lovers. The staff is accommodating, especially for those with allergies, and the portion sizes are generous enough to share. With a wide variety of options to create your own combination or choose from seasonal flavors, there's something for everyone. The grand opening drew in large crowds, but the wait was worth it as customers enjoyed the best-rolled ice cream around.
Went for the grand opening Tuesday and Sweet Rolls did not disappoint. Mind you, I’m pretty picky about my ice cream. The store was packed, as you could expect, but they had 8 stations going and the wait wasn’t toooo long. It was well worth it. Best rolled ice cream around! Big portions, lots of choices. It’s a really neat place too, very classy, not just a strip mall bare box. The people were very friendly especially for opening night, a huge crowd, and the new roller jitters. Had the “Cookie Monster” and the “ Rollin’ Banana “ both excellent. Will definitely be back, it is now my favorite rolled ice cream shop in the area!

This is a super cute place! I visited during a slow time, so only one person was in front of me. I enjoyed watching the employees making the various treats. However, it looks like a lot of work for them. The Brownie Time was really good. Sweet Rolls is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking available. I’d definitely return to try some of the other choices as well.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dessert experience, look no further than Shake Therapy! This charming little shop in New Orleans has been playfully dubbed "Subway for milkshakes," and it truly lives up to that fun description. Here, you can craft your own custom shakes with an impressive array of toppings—think cookies, fruits, Pop-Tarts, mini pies, donuts, sprinkles, chocolate drizzles, gummy bears—you name it!
I've never tasted a strawberry cheesecake shake that tasted so delicious and fresh! Definitely will be back on a treat day.
Whitney M — Google review
Shake therapy in New Orleans. Super thick shake. I originally planned on getting some sort of crazy shake, but as it turns out it’s a “build your own” thing and I just couldn’t decide on what to build, it would have been nice if they offered a handful of standard crazy shakes to order. But their concept is to give the customer the control- which is great normally, but I wasn’t feeling creative. Still very tasty though. The staff was very friendly, and did make an effort to get me to build a shake, but I just wasn’t in to it. They have a lot of ice cream flavors and various toppings to build with, if you chose to. The shake I had was good, even being just a “boring” shake.
Liz S — Google review
It was fancy and good, but it's hard to mess up ice cream and toppings. The novelty of it wasn't enough to keep me coming back at the price point. Check out the photo of what it looks like when not being prepared for a professional photo.

First off: WOW, what a concept! Fresh toppings, served with a big smile. Shake Therapy has hospitality and milkshakes down to a T. The interior is cute and the staff is bubbly in their scrubs that match the therapy theme. I've brought every single out of town visitor to Shake Therapy. Nothing more aesthetic to post on your Instagram. A NOLA must and soon to be staple of S. Carrollton and my waist line. Sorry belt, sorry wallet. :)

Shakes were ok. Seemed kinda trendy/gimmicky. They put "trim" on the outside rim of the cup. But it ended up just dripping down the side. Ice cream was good though and staff was friendly.

This place is great! The women behind the counter were friendly and helpful. My husband and I made the Create your own shake and, yeah, it was expensive but it was fun and tasted so good. Some reviews complained about the toppings running down the sides...the employees did tell us they would do that and gave me a little cup to catch my toppings. I would definitely go back to get my ice cream fix.

Great milkshakes! Really on the decadent side but worth it if you have a sweet tooth. I like my shakes a bit on the thicker side but it seems like they're still working stuff out, so Ill cut them some slack. The ice cream is amazing quality! They should really sell scoops as well.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of the historic French Quarter, La Divina Cafe e Gelateria is a delightful gem that brings authentic Sicilian flavors to life. Since its opening in February 2007, this locally-owned café has been dedicated to crafting artisanal gelato and sorbet using only natural, local, and organic ingredients. With an impressive array of both familiar and exotic seasonal flavors, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
It was so hot outside and it was good to stop in to get some gelato. My friend had the Aztec chocolate and bourbon pecan gelato and said the Aztec chocolate was great. I had the coconut and lime sorbet. We were assisted by a super nice guy that really showed us what southern hospitality and what being nice is like. He had a Scorpio tattoo and my friend and I are both Scorpios so ended up chatting. I would come back again next time I'm here. Thanks!
Noby — Google review
The lime sorbet was pretty good and my wife really liked the strawberry balsamic. The guy who was working was not friendly at all, nor was the woman. Decent but you'll probably find better not far away service wise. We've been here before and it was the same unfriendly, almost we don't really want you here, snobby attitude. Because of that we won't come back.
Dan W — Google review
We ordered an espresso, cappuccino and cheesecake. The coffee was OK- it wasn't the greatest coffee and it most certainly wasn't the worst. The cheesecake on the other hand was not fresh at all. The top layer was hard and it had a strange taste to it. The owner was kind enough to reimburse us for it
Sabrina M — Google review
Gelato was good, but pretty expensive for the size. The smalls were in small paper cups that were worthless. Leaking everywhere. And this was 9pm and we ate inside so it wasn't even hot. Hated that we had to eat so fast and not enjoy it as we like.
Gina B — Google review
There were only about 6 flavors to choose from when we went. Gelato was okay (we got the brandy cream flavor), waffle cone was stale, and service was sufficient, but very unfriendly. Over-priced for what you get. My husband is from Italy and he said this is not an authentic gelato shop. I would just expect more from the name, price and location of the shop.
Elizabeth R — Google review
They have some interesting gelato flavors and the sandwich menu looks pretty good too, but beware the bad service. The staff seems to have no clue what they are doing. After putting my sandwich in the panini press, they literally just wandered off into the back. When I called them back after 15 minutes they tried to serve me a burnt sandwich as if nothing was wrong.
Ken H — Google review
I ordered the limon gelato, and it was very good. My complaint is the portion size and what this portion comes in. For one small scoop it is $3.75 and it comes in the paper little cup. Super flimsy and cheap. They even have a size that is HALF of scoop that comes in an even smaller little flimsy paper cup. All in all, gelato was good, portion size and price sucked.
Pro R — Google review
Several of us showed up at 930 pm for some gelado, the front door was locked, but the side door was open so I popped my head in and asked the girl working if they were open and she replied a simple no we are closed. I find this very frustrating after stopping in earlier to check what time they closed and being told 10 pm. Not a very good sign.

We hired Big O Pops to roll up to our family crawfish boil, and they were incredible! They brought numerous flavors on their adorable bike/cooler and everyone was blown away by the pops. They made it easy to coordinate and my family is still talking about the flavors!
Natasha N — Google review
LOVE their popsicles! My wife, dog, and I try to go at least once a week. The flavors are fun and well done, and the dog pops have treats as sticks so they’re safe for her eat. All 3 of us are huge fans! At $3/pop ($2 for dogs) the prices are more than reasonable for the quality of what you get, and everyone working there is always super friendly. Love y’all!

Doorbell Popsicle (as it is advertised) is a treat! Pandemic Pop Up, this funky house is located in St. Roch where they serve more than just popsicles. I was on bike, so I couldn’t indulge myself or explore all the options further. I had the coffee and it was actually quite good and reasonably priced. I would recommend checking this place out. I’m looking forward to visiting again, as a reward for biking in the heat of the summer.

I got a green tea milkshake and it was absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting the New Orleans area.
Ella S — Google review
These popsicles are amazing!!! Artisan popsicles with a ton of different flavors. I’m partial to the creamy ones — the blackberries + cream and the raspberry cheesecake are ridiculously good. Going to try to try all the flavors before we leave town!
Valerie M — Google review
GREAT popsicles. I love the unique flavors. I had the lemon basil and would highly recommend it if you enjoy basil. It was really refreshing and fun.
Jessica T — Google review
This is the sort of place that makes me love my neighborhood. Delicious artisan popsicles served from the side window of their shotgun house, catty corner to the St. Roch Market. Outside, covid-safe, and they also have doggy popsicles (with dog treats for the sticks) so the human and canine family members all love it!

Ice cream shop
Dat Iceroll is a small, family-owned ice cream shop located in an interesting part of town. The ice cream is made with real ingredients and tastes great, and the kids love it because it's not too sweet. It can be a bit of a wait, but it's worth it for some delicious homemade ice cream.
We loved the ive cream and the creative ways of creating the rolls.

Awesome process and really flavorful ice cream! I had the lemon pie and it was made with real lemon and lime zest. Expect a little wait because they only have one slab, and you have to take into consideration that the guy working is putting in a lot of real effort scraping and chopping for your delicious cup! Will definitely be back to try the mango and cafe au lait flavors!
Sirena W — Google review
Our kids ages 4-13 found this little place neat to watch and very tasty to eat! Located in a nice area with some shopping and off the beaten path treasures.
Shanda D — Google review
I came from Florida and this WHOLE weekend I was waiting to get some then I get into the line and the girl in front of me tells me that they only had one more cup left and she was the last one. Who runs out of ice cream... Wow great service lol. Waste of timeeee
Elle D — Google review
A must-visit if you're on Magazine Stree.. Just watching how the icerolls are made is a treat! Cafe Au Lait was the bomb! This a cash-only business though.
