看着外表土土的，里面的天地还真大。转了大半天，入手了几本心仪的书，有点儿流连忘返的感觉，不愧天下第一独立书店称号。

门头虽小，里面特别特别的大，不仅有新书还有二手书

门面很小，但里面非常大的书店，上下很多楼层。分类做得很好，电脑查询也便捷。还有二手书。非常赞！

绝对是我去过的书店里最大也是最棒的一家。小时候一进书店就会莫名兴奋，后来很久没有那种体验了，直到来到了这家书店。来波特兰旅游必去的一站，推荐。

停车1小时，本想随便逛逛15分钟，结果1小时时间不够用，匆匆忙忙买了三本书😃。书店推荐书的方式真好，选的书非常治愈，书的文字真美，当下即是最好的时光。

I buy pants, bring them home and realize they aren’t the best fit so I bring them back the next day to return them. I left all the tags on and when I get to the front the manager says it’s in store credit or exchanges only. Apparently this policy is outlined on the receipt which would have been fine if I had been provided with any form of one (printed, emailed or even spammed), or been verbally notified of this policy either when the purchase was made. It was such a weird power trip that this seeming to be store manager was on. She said she remembered me from ringing me up literally the day before and was immediately able to find the purchase in the system but when I brought up not being notified about the return policy she got all cringey and said the “policy will stand” and acted like I was trying to pull something with her and I was holding up her line…..? It’s your job to notify your customers about your policies and you certainly shouldn’t treat people like it’s their fault when you mess up. Even if it really is the end of the world to process an actual return (which it’s not, seriously come on), you could have admitted to the possibility that you never sent a receipt or even verbally outlined your policy. Acting like your bad is my fault and I should have known better is ridiculous and just a gross way to do business. Apparently this place makes enough money that they don’t need to worry themselves about brand loyalty. The only downside is they are located in downtown Portland and you will need to pay for parking and you may need to walk away. I believe there is a parking structure across the street and that might be a good option for some. It should be easy access for all, they have an elevator that my husband made use of because it is a large multi level place. If you don't know anything about the Japanese American internment camps during WW2, I highly encourage you to check out the Yasui exhibit telling local Japanese American history and highlighting a piece of often overlooked American history. This exhibit will be open for about a year. It is very personal and they got the stories straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
